- 0:48Speaker 2: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:51Speaker 2: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Everybody's been here with the Almost Fi podcast. We have
- 0:56Speaker 1: one of the very successful couples from pair, Jess and
- 1:01Speaker 1: Spencer with us today. You just got off the reunion show.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I was not worried about Green Show for you too,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Were you worried about it for other people?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Definitely.
- 1:11Speaker 5: I honestly expected a little bit more chaos than we got.
- 1:15Speaker 5: I got anxiety hives a few times, so hopefully you
- 1:18Speaker 5: can't see that when they when they release the video footage.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I was proud of everyone for keeping it way more
- 1:24Speaker 3: tame than I thought.
- 1:26Speaker 1: There were moments, there were moments I think it could
- 1:31Speaker 1: have really spiraled. Here's one of my favorite parts of
- 1:33Speaker 1: the season that never got talked about, and it happened
- 1:37Speaker 1: with you, Spencer, and it includes drama.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Me and drama.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah, the I think whatever they're calling the judges, what
- 1:45Speaker 1: did they call the judges that came.
- 1:46Speaker 4: The Parliament of Paradise.
- 1:50Speaker 1: They come out and Sean and Alicia start doing their talk,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and they flashed to the current contestants and it shows
- 1:57Speaker 1: Spencer kind of in the back of the TV and
- 2:00Speaker 1: you're standing there looking like you want to shrivel up
- 2:03Speaker 1: into a ball and disappear because it's so awkward.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I mean, as soon as we got to the point
- 2:11Speaker 3: of airing out people's personal details that weren't part of
- 2:16Speaker 3: the season. Yeah, I was cringing from the inside out.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I was like, oh God, this is so many, Like
- 2:23Speaker 3: can I just go hang out with my friends? Because
- 2:25Speaker 3: when they all showed up, I was actually.
- 2:27Speaker 5: So we were so excited, and then it was like, well,
- 2:30Speaker 5: now we're plummeting going down, and I was like.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Can we just excess stage righte? And can we can
- 2:36Speaker 3: we go hang out somewhere else? We're not gonna show
- 2:38Speaker 3: us anyway, So it's like the.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And I do I want to be in all sincerity,
- 2:43Speaker 1: congratulations to the two of you. I mean thank I
- 2:45Speaker 1: just got off recording with Wells and we were talking
- 2:48Speaker 1: about you two as a couple. And I think one
- 2:50Speaker 1: of the the markers for a successful season of Paradise
- 2:53Speaker 1: or Bachelor or Bachelorette should be and always has been
- 2:56Speaker 1: the couples that come out of it. And I think
- 2:59Speaker 1: this season, and if that is our marker of success,
- 3:02Speaker 1: has been one of the most successful seasons we've ever
- 3:04Speaker 1: had because the two of you, uh just seemed to work.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And I will say this Paradise tried to make it
- 3:11Speaker 1: look like you two.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Weren't gonna work.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I know it was a little bit really hard hard,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and I think I think when you walked up the stairs.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I think so many of us felt emotional because the
- 3:23Speaker 1: two we could see it that your connection was real.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Yeah, there was. Honestly, there was no question for me
- 3:29Speaker 5: on whether I was choosing love or money. I just like,
- 3:34Speaker 5: I've never felt the way that I feel about him
- 3:38Speaker 5: with anyone, and like, I just think that that's a
- 3:40Speaker 5: once in a lifetime thing for most people, and there's
- 3:43Speaker 5: no way that I could I could choose money over
- 3:46Speaker 5: what what we found.
- 3:47Speaker 4: It was never a question then, never a question.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Jesse and I started laughing when he offered me the money. Yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 3: it wasn't a question for me.
- 3:56Speaker 1: The behind the scene spencer, for you standing there in
- 3:58Speaker 1: that moment, I'm, you know, just being on the show previously,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I know they're really good at makings you get inside
- 4:06Speaker 1: your own head. And I don't think it's manipulative. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: think it's sometimes really fun if you look back on it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm assuming you were standing there waiting for her to
- 4:14Speaker 1: go up the stairs for a while.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I was there for a while. Yeah, I was like,
- 4:20Speaker 3: have they got the shot they need already? Because I
- 4:22Speaker 3: mean I was so confident that she was going to
- 4:27Speaker 3: be coming up those steps that if she hadn't. I
- 4:31Speaker 3: had way bigger issues than her not showing up, because
- 4:33Speaker 3: my judgment of everything and anything is so out out
- 4:37Speaker 3: of line and I need to like reassess my life
- 4:39Speaker 3: as a whole. So I was beyond confident that she
- 4:42Speaker 3: would show up. They kept me up there for a while, though.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Did you ever start to doubt it? No. I thought
- 4:48Speaker 3: they were like trying to get another shot. Maybe they
- 4:50Speaker 3: need a different angle, Maybe they need me to look
- 4:52Speaker 3: down at the money. Like I was like, I'll work
- 4:58Speaker 3: with you all, let me know, let me know what
- 4:59Speaker 3: you need. I'm nervous here. I'm proposing soon.
- 5:02Speaker 4: So oh my goodness.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I mean that moment of a proposal, knowing the situation
- 5:09Speaker 1: that was in front of you. We had seen as
- 5:11Speaker 1: viewers the morning where you had mentioned, hey, today's day,
- 5:16Speaker 1: we might get engaged or we could be become engaged,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and we had seen teasers that you were in your
- 5:22Speaker 1: own head about it. Yeah, and then that was solidified.
- 5:25Speaker 4: As you laid in bed and went.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, so let me speak on that. I am
- 5:31Speaker 5: the worst morning person in the entire world. I don't
- 5:37Speaker 5: speak until I've been up for at least like an
- 5:39Speaker 5: hour and a half, Like he's he learned that very nonverbal.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I'm nonverbal.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Honestly, we we thought we started dying laughing when we
- 5:48Speaker 5: saw that part of the episode because we're like that
- 5:50Speaker 5: just that checks so much, because I'm just like, I'm
- 5:54Speaker 5: a different person from the hours of like seven am
- 5:57Speaker 5: until around like ten am.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a ten am.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I'm like my normal I'm like good.
- 6:07Speaker 5: And so it was honestly, like obviously because we knew
- 6:10Speaker 5: the conversations we had had the night before. He got
- 6:12Speaker 5: to speak with my both my parents, I got to
- 6:15Speaker 5: call my parents. We were in a really good place.
- 6:17Speaker 5: We were confident about the decision that we were making
- 6:20Speaker 5: the next day.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And we discussed the engagement at that point.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Yeah, watching that clip, we were it was so funny
- 6:27Speaker 5: to us. We were like, oh my god, that's just
- 6:29Speaker 5: that's so funny that they used me half asleep, like
- 6:32Speaker 5: my non morning person self.
- 6:35Speaker 4: But she loved it. They're like, this is perfect. Don't
- 6:40Speaker 4: give her coffee. We have no coffee this morning.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Seriously, I was the last person going to walk out
- 6:45Speaker 5: in the main area every.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Morning, sitting there with her breakfast travels. I already got
- 6:51Speaker 3: done with a five mile runs.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Yeah, show like three.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Times, and I'm just like finally getting up.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll appreciate that in ridge one day, because you
- 7:02Speaker 1: get your morning time, you get your own time, You
- 7:03Speaker 1: get to do what you gotta do. You can you
- 7:05Speaker 1: can go run, you can do yours, you can read, write,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden she wakes up to
- 7:10Speaker 1: start half your day.
- 7:11Speaker 3: And looking like this takes time. So I'm understanding, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 3: I get it. Rome wasn't built in a day.
- 7:23Speaker 1: All these love triangles getting you twisted us too, But
- 7:28Speaker 1: it's because we have Wetzels Pretzels on decks, serving up soft,
- 7:33Speaker 1: salty and totally irresistible snacks from original butter to sinful cinnamon.
- 7:40Speaker 1: We've got your cravings covered, fresh baked, hand rolled, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: always hot. Go online to find your nearest Wetzels Pretzels
- 7:51Speaker 1: or to order ahead your Wetzels Paradise awaits at Wetzels
- 7:57Speaker 1: dot com. It's interesting too to me how different people's
- 8:03Speaker 1: experiences on Paradise are for the two of you. And
- 8:08Speaker 1: correct me if I'm wrong here. I'm just a viewer
- 8:10Speaker 1: and a fan. You walk through Paradise fairly unscathed. You
- 8:15Speaker 1: had a really beautiful love story it, you know, was
- 8:18Speaker 1: always kind of adding in depth. You were great in competitions,
- 8:22Speaker 1: You stayed out of the drama, you watch from the sidelines.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You just had this like wonderful vacation. And others also
- 8:31Speaker 1: went like and had a really rough experience right alongside
- 8:34Speaker 1: of you, same house, same bar, samepool, same beach, really
- 8:38Speaker 1: rough experience for somebody like the two of you who
- 8:41Speaker 1: come out of this engagement and love and can look
- 8:43Speaker 1: back with a smile on your face.
- 8:45Speaker 4: What is it like also sitting alongside of.
- 8:48Speaker 1: People today going we lived in the same house and
- 8:51Speaker 1: you're it was not the same for us.
- 8:54Speaker 5: Yeah, honestly, I have to say I'm just said thinking
- 8:57Speaker 5: he's such a good human in general. I just didn't
- 9:01Speaker 5: have to worry about his intentions on anything. So I'm
- 9:04Speaker 5: very thankful. And I mean I could have had I
- 9:07Speaker 5: very well could have had one of the experience that
- 9:09Speaker 5: some of the other people had, but I had this guy,
- 9:12Speaker 5: and he's just the best. And also I will say
- 9:17Speaker 5: I think that this go round, I really wanted people
- 9:20Speaker 5: to see the real me. I didn't want to get
- 9:24Speaker 5: involved in all the other stuff. But I will say
- 9:26Speaker 5: it was surprising to see, like all the conversations that
- 9:29Speaker 5: are going on while we were just focused on each other,
- 9:31Speaker 5: Like we just literally kept our focus on building our relationship.
- 9:35Speaker 5: And that's at the end of the day why we
- 9:37Speaker 5: didn't face those hurdles as much.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think at the end of the day
- 9:45Speaker 3: we both had a mutual understanding that whatever we were
- 9:49Speaker 3: deciding to do was for what we viewed as the
- 9:53Speaker 3: betterment of us as a couple. And there's never been
- 9:57Speaker 3: anything just has been upset about that. I've been sitting
- 9:59Speaker 3: there wondering, Hey, this is so outline, Like where did
- 10:02Speaker 3: that come from. She's a very rational, reasonable person, and
- 10:07Speaker 3: of course, you know, emotions can grab a hold sometimes,
- 10:10Speaker 3: but at the end of the day, everything that she does,
- 10:14Speaker 3: I can, while I might not agree with everything, step
- 10:17Speaker 3: back and be like look at it and say, I
- 10:19Speaker 3: understand where that's coming from. And when you come from
- 10:22Speaker 3: that place, I think you can work on it together
- 10:25Speaker 3: to get to a place of mutual understanding. And I
- 10:28Speaker 3: think that, like, different relationships move at different paces, and
- 10:32Speaker 3: you run into obstacles at different times within the relationship,
- 10:37Speaker 3: and that's so unique to the people that are in
- 10:40Speaker 3: the relationship. And Paradise was honestly the reason I was
- 10:45Speaker 3: fighting so hard to be able to stay and the
- 10:47Speaker 3: reason that when Sean said her name, I was like,
- 10:51Speaker 3: oh dude, you're done. Like I don't care how strong
- 10:53Speaker 3: your relationship is. I don't care about anything, because every
- 10:57Speaker 3: single day we had in Paradise it was like a week.
- 10:59Speaker 3: It was like a week the real Yeah, like legitimately
- 11:01Speaker 3: of when else are we going to have this time
- 11:04Speaker 3: with no phones, no jobs, no like, no work calling us,
- 11:09Speaker 3: no family burden, no anything like. Our whole job was
- 11:14Speaker 3: to get to know each other. And I was fighting
- 11:17Speaker 3: tooth and nail for every single day that I could
- 11:19Speaker 3: be there with her to grow our relation relationship at
- 11:23Speaker 3: this expedited rate and just get to know more about
- 11:28Speaker 3: her in this awesome, unique scenario that we found ourselves in.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yeah. I think Wells described you as like what a
- 11:35Speaker 1: golden retriever?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, people have said that.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah, like a very like golden retriever meets clerk Kent.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah that's a good And I also saw Wells with
- 11:46Speaker 3: royalties for that.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I also saw I'm just thinking about this now.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I think during the season I got a clip sent
- 11:53Speaker 1: to me of maybe is it your mom? That also
- 11:55Speaker 1: is like I can't believe this is my son, and
- 11:57Speaker 1: it's she's so proud of you, which is she's really
- 12:03Speaker 1: proud of you right now? So, how did I mean
- 12:05Speaker 1: your families? You haven't met her family yet, right.
- 12:08Speaker 3: So I have talked to both of her parents facetimed, Okay.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Because I have some family in California. So he's met
- 12:16Speaker 5: my aunt who I'm super close with, and my two
- 12:18Speaker 5: cousins that are like my little brothers and my gigi.
- 12:21Speaker 5: But my parents he has only met on FaceTime.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I haven't met mamma, have met mamma or mom and dad.
- 12:34Speaker 1: So you're getting ready to fly out from here to
- 12:36Speaker 1: go meet mamma and your mom and dad.
- 12:39Speaker 5: But you have met his Yeah, I've met all of
- 12:42Speaker 5: his He has three brothers and I met all of them.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I met his mom and dad, I've met his grandparents.
- 12:50Speaker 5: I met his best friends, and yeah, they're.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Has been like for like you And what's the feedback
- 12:56Speaker 1: that you've gotten on Jazz?
- 12:58Speaker 3: So so one thing about me and my brothers and
- 13:02Speaker 3: my friends, we're all kind of weird.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 3: So when I was going into Paradise, I was like, man,
- 13:13Speaker 3: the reason I went into it thinking that, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 3: an engagement probably won't come of this is there's qualities
- 13:20Speaker 3: that I'm looking for in my future wife. And then
- 13:23Speaker 3: when you pile on top of that, you have to
- 13:25Speaker 3: be able to tolerate a little bit of the weird
- 13:27Speaker 3: and give a little bit of it back. And our
- 13:30Speaker 3: first competition, our first conversation. She told me about the
- 13:34Speaker 3: biscuit making competition she won in fifth grade, and when
- 13:37Speaker 3: she started diving, that's why I was like, Oh, she's perfect.
- 13:40Speaker 5: She's so weird, that's crazy.
- 13:45Speaker 4: That's a that's a beautiful, beautiful story.
- 13:49Speaker 3: So she's a winner.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah, with Pinkberry, it is love at first swirl big
- 14:03Speaker 1: thanks to Pinkberry, who has been serving up some delicious
- 14:07Speaker 1: frozen yogurt treats today where every flavor, whether it's original tart, pomegranate,
- 14:14Speaker 1: or their new white mocha is truly is a front
- 14:19Speaker 1: runner and the only drama is choosing between your favorite
- 14:23Speaker 1: premium toppings. Whether you're here for love or let's be real,
- 14:28Speaker 1: just the froyo. Pinkberry's got your happily ever after. Find
- 14:33Speaker 1: a location near you or order online at pinkberry dot com.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I mean, I think you said during the reunion that
- 14:44Speaker 1: your family has fully adopted her in and that's such
- 14:48Speaker 1: a great thing. People you had mentioned it that obviously
- 14:51Speaker 1: Paradise was fast and it is expedited.
- 14:55Speaker 4: In a day there does feel like a week and
- 14:58Speaker 4: it is.
- 14:59Speaker 1: But the cool part it is, I do believe you
- 15:01Speaker 1: can find love there because I think if you had
- 15:03Speaker 1: asked me a week and to meet my wife, would
- 15:04Speaker 1: you marry her?
- 15:05Speaker 4: I'd say yeah tomorrow, Like you just know when you
- 15:09Speaker 4: know you know?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, when you know you know? And do you feel
- 15:13Speaker 1: today more confident than ever that you know.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Absolutely one percent? It's like you said, it's that when
- 15:20Speaker 3: you know you know feeling And I don't know if
- 15:22Speaker 3: it's love at first sight. I know so much goes
- 15:25Speaker 3: into love, so it might not be that. But from
- 15:29Speaker 3: our first conversation, she just felt like home. Yeah, and
- 15:34Speaker 3: she was like so welcoming. And it's like this familiar
- 15:40Speaker 3: familiarity with a person that like, I don't know where
- 15:44Speaker 3: it came from. I don't know why I feel like
- 15:46Speaker 3: I know you. I don't, but I do know that
- 15:49Speaker 3: you're the only person I want to talk to and
- 15:51Speaker 3: I want to sit here for hours just getting to
- 15:53Speaker 3: know everything about you. Unprompted, we were talking about all
- 15:57Speaker 3: of our trauma and have happened in our life that's
- 16:01Speaker 3: like made us the people that we are today. And
- 16:03Speaker 3: that was like five hours into a conversation where we
- 16:06Speaker 3: were just sitting there talking and I don't know, she
- 16:09Speaker 3: just makes me so comfortable and I love being around her.
- 16:11Speaker 3: She's my absolute best friend. I don't care if we're
- 16:15Speaker 3: sitting in bed rotting watching Vampire Diary. Yeah yeah, or
- 16:21Speaker 3: if we're going to the nicest dinner, if we're in
- 16:23Speaker 3: Costa Rica on the beach, like, I don't care what
- 16:26Speaker 3: it is, but I want her there with me. And
- 16:30Speaker 3: it's like, yeah, when you know, you know, and.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 1: It's a really incredible thing. And for anybody out there,
- 16:36Speaker 1: any listeners, any fans that say, can the Bachelor really work?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Can Bachelor in Paradise really work? I think you two
- 16:43Speaker 1: again are an incredible example of that.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Now.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I do wanna as we close up here, bring up
- 16:49Speaker 1: something that was not discussed really on the show, but
- 16:52Speaker 1: was written into us. Actually there's a rumor out there.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Maybe it was discussing the show and I just missed it,
- 16:58Speaker 1: but there's a rumor out there that you slid into
- 17:00Speaker 1: his DMS before this show started.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Is that true?
- 17:04Speaker 3: I did.
- 17:05Speaker 5: I think the first message that I sent him was
- 17:07Speaker 5: about his dog. I was like, hey, I was like, oh,
- 17:11Speaker 5: she's such a pretty girl. Will you give her a
- 17:12Speaker 5: boop for me? Like a boop on the nose, cute boop, Yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 5: cute boop. And he's like, oh, yeah, I'll do that
- 17:18Speaker 5: for her right now. And I go, oh, and tell
- 17:20Speaker 5: her that she's beautiful, and I think he said something like, oh,
- 17:23Speaker 5: she'll love that coming from you, and I was like,
- 17:28Speaker 5: and that was like, that was literally it. I think
- 17:30Speaker 5: like maybe he I remember I made muffins one time
- 17:33Speaker 5: and he set up and was like those look delicious.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Just stupid? Wait you remember that? Funny? Yeah? Well, and
- 17:41Speaker 3: it's I know for me. So I had only met
- 17:47Speaker 3: two people from two women from the Bachelor universe in person,
- 17:51Speaker 3: and that was at our tell all. And so of
- 17:54Speaker 3: course you like follow people, you'll dem with people, like
- 17:57Speaker 3: react to a story whatever. We all have this weird
- 18:00Speaker 3: mutual shared experience. But I wanted to make sure that
- 18:04Speaker 3: I went into Paradise without too many preconceived notions about anyone.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I know, Thank God, I know that in my edit
- 18:13Speaker 3: or how I was portrayed on the show, I look
- 18:16Speaker 3: super boring, and I'm like, I know for a fact,
- 18:18Speaker 3: like I was the loudest person there. I was yapp
- 18:20Speaker 3: and all the time like everything. And you know, I
- 18:23Speaker 3: had talked to people that work at ABIES who are
- 18:26Speaker 3: close friends now and they're like, you, honestly just have
- 18:28Speaker 3: to go there. Give everyone a fair go at it.
- 18:31Speaker 3: So I was just living my life in Dallas, and
- 18:35Speaker 3: as soon as anything the prospect of being able to
- 18:38Speaker 3: go to Paradise came up, I was like, okay, we'll
- 18:40Speaker 3: just like go in blank slate. Yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 5: It's funny to see the comments though, Like I've seen
- 18:45Speaker 5: a few of people being like, oh, they definitely talked before.
- 18:48Speaker 4: They definitely need each other.
- 18:49Speaker 3: They have each other's numbers. I had to get our
- 18:52Speaker 3: number after we're in the hotel room. After I'm like,
- 18:55Speaker 3: so I kind of need your numbers.
- 18:58Speaker 4: At least we knew him the government name.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I mean, I think I think that's just a good tidbit.
- 19:08Speaker 1: But you didn't know, like when she walked in then
- 19:11Speaker 1: and you saw her there, were you like, Okay, I
- 19:13Speaker 1: kept my mind open for five minutes and now I
- 19:15Speaker 1: see her.
- 19:16Speaker 3: So it was like her energy and what she brought
- 19:20Speaker 3: walking into a room only so much can be conveyed
- 19:23Speaker 3: over social media and stories and photos or whatever.
- 19:28Speaker 4: It was.
- 19:28Speaker 3: The she was like a magnet for me. She walked out,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I was like, I need to go talk to her.
- 19:36Speaker 5: See, I already wanted to talk to him because I
- 19:37Speaker 5: thought he was cute.
- 19:38Speaker 4: I think he's cute, and I.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Mean she's she's beautiful, and obviously that's like you need
- 19:46Speaker 3: that sort of attraction and relationship. But for me, it's
- 19:50Speaker 3: so much beyond that. Yeah, and it was just me
- 19:55Speaker 3: and her person. I was like, man, I wish I
- 19:56Speaker 3: would have known you were this cool. We could have
- 19:58Speaker 3: just like we could come on.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Yeah, but you got some more money out of it.
- 20:03Speaker 3: They got a lot bit moneyla.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Final question for you. You know there were conversations that
- 20:10Speaker 1: were happening about you two moving in together, who would
- 20:13Speaker 1: be moving where and when and how? And also kind
- 20:16Speaker 1: of family if you're going to be starting a family.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I think Spencer was very excited about starting a family.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I have a seven month old daughter. I will tell
- 20:24Speaker 1: you it is amazing. I would recommend it to anybody
- 20:29Speaker 1: on Sleep right now doing great.
- 20:32Speaker 3: It is.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It is nothing but a blessing. So catch us up now.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Shows done airing we know you're engaged.
- 20:39Speaker 4: What's next?
- 20:40Speaker 5: So we went back and forth the entire time since
- 20:44Speaker 5: filming wrapped, and we talked about San Diego, we talked
- 20:48Speaker 5: about Dallas, we talked about maybe a new city, and
- 20:51Speaker 5: I think for our future right now, Dallas just makes
- 20:53Speaker 5: the most sense. I'm really excited, you know, I haven't
- 20:57Speaker 5: been able to do much there because we have to
- 20:59Speaker 5: stay inside, but I'm really excited to see the city more.
- 21:04Speaker 5: And it's a lot cheaper than California.
- 21:06Speaker 1: So so.
- 21:08Speaker 5: We did the sign on Dallas, and I'm going to
- 21:11Speaker 5: be moving to Dallas at the first of the year
- 21:14Speaker 5: when his lease is up.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and then with everything else, we're taking a step
- 21:18Speaker 3: we haven't been on date yet, Like, let's let's go
- 21:21Speaker 3: on a date. Let's be able to move in together,
- 21:24Speaker 3: get our footing, and then kind of take things from me.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Is that your honest opinion, Spencer? Are you still kind
- 21:29Speaker 1: of like, hey, let's get this thing.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I mean, I would love to be able to I
- 21:33Speaker 3: think that the thing I will excel most at in
- 21:37Speaker 3: life as being a father, and I can't wait for that.
- 21:39Speaker 3: But I also know that I want her to be
- 21:42Speaker 3: that person, and I want her to be comfortable and
- 21:44Speaker 3: be on board. So just like with the move as well,
- 21:47Speaker 3: I was like, hey, let's like, let's weigh all of
- 21:50Speaker 3: our options.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Yeah, he's been so patient with just like because I
- 21:53Speaker 5: think everyone saw me doubting quite a bit, you know.
- 21:57Speaker 5: That was kind of like the devil on my shoulder, Like, hey, girl,
- 22:00Speaker 5: you did this once before, it didn't work out. See
- 22:02Speaker 5: where that got ya. But just like trusting my gut
- 22:05Speaker 5: and knowing that I have such an amazing partner and like,
- 22:08Speaker 5: this is exciting and this is a good thing, and
- 22:11Speaker 5: just let it be what it is and stop worrying
- 22:13Speaker 5: about your past failures or past things that have happened.
- 22:19Speaker 5: And yeah, so we're we're with all that being said,
- 22:22Speaker 5: we are excited for the future. We don't want to
- 22:25Speaker 5: put timelines on anything. I think that we both get
- 22:27Speaker 5: really excited though, and you can see that with him.
- 22:30Speaker 5: He's very vocal about it, and I am as well too.
- 22:32Speaker 5: I don't want anyone out there to think like I'm like, whoa, buddy,
- 22:36Speaker 5: calm down, because I get really excited too. It's just
- 22:39Speaker 5: realistically well, it's also like she's twenty six.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I was saying kids in the next two years,
- 22:47Speaker 3: which would make her twenty eight, and she says she
- 22:49Speaker 3: wanted kids before thirty. So the delta there, it's not insane,
- 22:53Speaker 3: it's not crazy.
- 22:54Speaker 4: You're in the same.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the same. Like I can give her take
- 22:57Speaker 3: a couple of years, honey, exactly.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's not to give unsolicited advice. But here's my advice.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Let it be good. It is good, it seems good.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Just let it be good. And if it wasn't good,
- 23:08Speaker 1: somebody would tell you, and they haven't yet, and I
- 23:11Speaker 1: won't tell you.
