- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven to ten wo Honor.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, Hey, it's Friday, it's a beautiful It's Sunday Friday.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's gonna be in the sixties all weekend. You know,
- 0:15Speaker 2: you got seventy one days until summer, but you're gonna
- 0:18Speaker 2: get a summer preview next week. It'll be in the eighties,
- 0:21Speaker 2: might even hit ninety next week. A lot to get
- 0:23Speaker 2: to today, Malania Trump, what was that unusual statement? All
- 0:27Speaker 2: about that Epstein statement? What the hell is that all about? Well,
- 0:30Speaker 2: we'll explain. We'll get to Iran and the talks. We'll
- 0:33Speaker 2: get to NATO and pulling out of there. We'll get
- 0:36Speaker 2: to the crazy Democrats and what they're up to, the
- 0:39Speaker 2: Al Sharpton Convention. We'll get to this horrible case of
- 0:43Speaker 2: this police officer in the Bronx who shouldn't be going
- 0:47Speaker 2: to prison, getting sent to prison by one of these
- 0:50Speaker 2: crazy left wing judges. We'll get to that coming up,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and a whole lot more just ahead. The talks is
- 0:59Speaker 2: supposed to begin to tomorrow. Vice President Vance will be there,
- 1:04Speaker 2: Steve Whitkoff, Jared Kushner. There's talk of the Iranians not
- 1:09Speaker 2: showing up doing something crazy. The Iranians are absolutely totally
- 1:13Speaker 2: crazy in negotiations, often deliberately impossible to negotiate with even
- 1:19Speaker 2: if he can. They never stick to anything they agree to.
- 1:22Speaker 2: But still a good thing, still a very good thing
- 1:25Speaker 2: to have. This two week pause gives us a chance
- 1:27Speaker 2: to restock, rearm reset, develop all new targets. And if
- 1:34Speaker 2: you do this two weeks of talks, no matter what happens,
- 1:37Speaker 2: they don't agree to anything, they don't show up, whatever happens,
- 1:40Speaker 2: it's now an excuse to go back and finish the job.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It looks much better. If he gave the Iranians two
- 1:47Speaker 2: weeks to come to the bargaining table, they played games,
- 1:51Speaker 2: they wouldn't bargain perfect. Then you got the Then you
- 1:56Speaker 2: got the justification to go in there and just take
- 1:58Speaker 2: care of everything. So it could get If they don't
- 2:03Speaker 2: do anything in these bargaining talks, it could get pretty ugly. Now, remember,
- 2:07Speaker 2: anytime there's talks, negotiations, it's bumpy, it's ups and downs,
- 2:12Speaker 2: and anytime you have negotiations with absolute raging lunatics in
- 2:16Speaker 2: the Middle East, it's really bumpy. So don't get alarmed
- 2:20Speaker 2: if things go wrong or things blow up. That's perfectly normal.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Malania Trump yesterday shocked everybody. You know, she doesn't make
- 2:28Speaker 2: a lot of speeches or do press conferences or do statements.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Every so often, it's rare. And when she does, it's
- 2:34Speaker 2: about a program she's put together for children, something like that,
- 2:40Speaker 2: she's redecorating the White House something. But this was very,
- 2:44Speaker 2: very very formal. This was a very stately formal looked
- 2:49Speaker 2: like a serious announcement. She came out and spoke for
- 2:52Speaker 2: about ten minutes about Jeffrey Epstein and how she had
- 2:57Speaker 2: no relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. There's been a lot of
- 3:00Speaker 2: lies about Jeffrey Epstein. These Michael Wolfe type books. You know,
- 3:04Speaker 2: Michael wolf is that wormy, creepy little slimeball who writes
- 3:08Speaker 2: these fake books and he makes up all kinds of crap.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And George Stephanopolis has him on and treats him like
- 3:14Speaker 2: an author. Meet the press will have them on. They
- 3:16Speaker 2: pretend he's a serious author. It's just a slimy, slimy
- 3:20Speaker 2: tabloid guy. He's the guy that, among other people, made
- 3:24Speaker 2: up this whole fake story. But it was Epstein that
- 3:26Speaker 2: introduced Trump and Melania absolutely no truth to that and
- 3:30Speaker 2: all kinds of fake crap in these books. So she
- 3:35Speaker 2: let you know, set the record straight on all this stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 2: She'd met Jeffrey Epstein, there was a brief time where
- 3:41Speaker 2: she and her husband traveled in the same circles. That
- 3:43Speaker 2: means they were at the same gallows, they were at
- 3:45Speaker 2: the same parties. Epstein for a time was a member
- 3:49Speaker 2: of mar A Lago, came there to the big events
- 3:51Speaker 2: and the parties. Trump found out what a slee's ball
- 3:55Speaker 2: he was, threw him out of marri A Lago, banned
- 3:58Speaker 2: him from mar A Lago. But other than that, I
- 4:00Speaker 2: had no relationship. And occasional hello if Julaane wrote an
- 4:04Speaker 2: email to Malaney, she sent a nice email back, how
- 4:07Speaker 2: was Palm Beach? Glad you had a nice time? That
- 4:09Speaker 2: kind of stuff, But no relationship. Didn't know him, had
- 4:12Speaker 2: nothing to do with anything. Never went to his house,
- 4:14Speaker 2: never went to his island, never sat down with him,
- 4:17Speaker 2: had never had a lunch or a dinner anything. But
- 4:20Speaker 2: And she also called for hearings, interview the survivors, get
- 4:26Speaker 2: all these women, bring them before Congress. She called for this,
- 4:29Speaker 2: put them all, you know under oath, gave of this now.
- 4:31Speaker 2: The only problem with that is half of them will
- 4:35Speaker 2: be committing perjury. There are some terrible victims and survivors,
- 4:38Speaker 2: but you see so many of them out there, a
- 4:40Speaker 2: lot of them aren't survivors, then they're not victims. Every
- 4:43Speaker 2: shady lawyer all over Florida has been rounding up any
- 4:46Speaker 2: girl they can find now grown now women and said,
- 4:51Speaker 2: you know, if you can say this and this and this,
- 4:54Speaker 2: I can get you a hundred thousand, you'll give me fifty.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You'll take fifty. That kind of stuff. So if they
- 4:59Speaker 2: put people on the earth to say doing that, a
- 5:00Speaker 2: lot of them will probably disappear real fast. You know.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Alan Dershowitz was Epstein's lawyer way back when two thousand
- 5:07Speaker 2: and seven, two thousand and eight, when he was getting convicted,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and as his attorney, Epstein had to tell him everything,
- 5:14Speaker 2: everything juicy, everything with big names, and they wanted to
- 5:18Speaker 2: make a deal. Epstein was going to go to prison,
- 5:20Speaker 2: but they wanted to make a deal to get as
- 5:22Speaker 2: little prison time as possible. And the only way you
- 5:25Speaker 2: get that deal is if you can trade some information
- 5:27Speaker 2: on some big names. So Epstein had to tell Dershwitz
- 5:31Speaker 2: anything he had that he could use for a deal,
- 5:32Speaker 2: anything on the Trump's, anything on the Clints. He poured
- 5:35Speaker 2: out everything to Dershwitz, and Dershwitz has said on the
- 5:38Speaker 2: record he had nothing on Trump. There was nothing with Trump,
- 5:41Speaker 2: absolutely nothing, and if there had been, he would have
- 5:44Speaker 2: used it. So here's Melania yesterday, give.
- 5:47Speaker 3: This victims their opportunity to testify under oath in front
- 5:53Speaker 3: of Congress with the power of swar and testimony.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Now again, the big question why would she do this?
- 6:01Speaker 2: In fact, all over the MAGA world and Twitter world,
- 6:05Speaker 2: and there's why would she Epstein was fading away, why
- 6:09Speaker 2: would she bring this back? Why would she do Well,
- 6:11Speaker 2: here's the reason. I can't tell you specifically, but this
- 6:14Speaker 2: was to preempt things. There was stuff coming and she
- 6:18Speaker 2: did this to preempt it. There was a let's just say,
- 6:23Speaker 2: they were going to get her on a before a
- 6:26Speaker 2: Congressional committee. They're going to put her under oath, make
- 6:28Speaker 2: her testify, which she she will do, but this is
- 6:32Speaker 2: to preempt that. Also, there's some Michael Wolf type stuff
- 6:35Speaker 2: coming in print to the terrible, stupid, slanderous, untrue not
- 6:41Speaker 2: So this was to preempt all of that stuff that
- 6:44Speaker 2: they knew was coming. But she's now calling for the hearings.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Get these women understand, put them under oath.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I'm not a weakness or a name weakness in connection
- 6:54Speaker 3: with any of Epstein's crimes. My name has never appeared
- 6:59Speaker 3: in court documents, the positions, victim statements, or FBI interviews
- 7:07Speaker 3: surrounding the Epstein matter.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good way to put it. Coord documents
- 7:12Speaker 2: because these Epstein files, there are millions and millions of pages.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Everybody is in them. Everybody, I'm in the Epstein files.
- 7:20Speaker 2: There's a lot of nothing bad, nothing bad, just silly.
- 7:23Speaker 2: You know, he came to an event, I was the
- 7:25Speaker 2: MC of somebody mentioned my show in an email. I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 2: nothing stuff, and everybody's You can find every name in
- 7:31Speaker 2: New York in those files. But the Cord She's right,
- 7:34Speaker 2: the Chord documents, which means anything to do with anything bad.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And there's millions people in those files that didn't even
- 7:40Speaker 2: know Epstein. You know, all of his American Express bills
- 7:44Speaker 2: are in the files. You can if you want to
- 7:46Speaker 2: read through that, you can read all those American Express bills.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So every restaurant in New York is in the Epstein files.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Every great stores in there. Because they're in the American
- 7:54Speaker 2: Express bills. Here's more Millennia.
- 7:56Speaker 3: The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey need to
- 8:02Speaker 3: end today.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so again, there are a lot of these lives
- 8:05Speaker 2: out there, the Michael Wolf type, sleeves ball, creepy little
- 8:09Speaker 2: guys you know who. He and others made up this
- 8:12Speaker 2: whole fake story there Epstein that introduced her to Donald Trump.
- 8:16Speaker 2: None of that was true, and she explained the whole
- 8:18Speaker 2: story where they met, who introduced it had nothing to
- 8:21Speaker 2: do with Epstein. They didn't even know Epstein. She had
- 8:24Speaker 2: never met Epstein then, So that was to preempt some
- 8:27Speaker 2: things coming, and hopefully hopefully it did. Hey, the secretary
- 8:31Speaker 2: of NATO came to meet with President Trump. Now we
- 8:35Speaker 2: should get the hell out of NATO. It sounds like
- 8:37Speaker 2: a good idea on paper, this NATO, this alliance where
- 8:40Speaker 2: we all help each other, but but we spend all
- 8:44Speaker 2: the money, we pay for most of it, and we're
- 8:47Speaker 2: the one country they won't help when we need some help,
- 8:50Speaker 2: they won't help us. We asked them for help in Iran,
- 8:53Speaker 2: not like we asked for troops or joined in the fight.
- 8:56Speaker 2: We just wanted to use our air base in Italy.
- 8:58Speaker 2: They wouldn't let us use it. We wanted to fly
- 9:01Speaker 2: over country, wouldn't let us use it. So if we
- 9:04Speaker 2: pay all the money into NATO and they will do
- 9:07Speaker 2: absolutely nothing nothing. If we ask him for change of
- 9:11Speaker 2: a quarter, they won't give it to us. If we
- 9:13Speaker 2: what is the point of being in there? This is
- 9:15Speaker 2: the secretary of route the.
- 9:17Speaker 4: US runts more and more to pivot towards the Inn Pacific.
- 9:20Speaker 4: This is one of the reasons why in Europe you
- 9:21Speaker 4: have to step up and that period of codependence and
- 9:25Speaker 4: become more interdependent with the United States. It was in
- 9:28Speaker 4: the alliance, a stronger Europe and a stronger NATO.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Now you could tell just listen to this guy sounds
- 9:32Speaker 2: like a real sleezball. It sounds like when you're you know,
- 9:34Speaker 2: in a hotel in another country and something goes wrong
- 9:37Speaker 2: in the manager and he comes out and he tucks
- 9:38Speaker 2: very effect and using just talking a mile a minute
- 9:42Speaker 2: just to double talk you. I wouldn't trust this guy
- 9:44Speaker 2: for a second. He just sounds horrible. Jake Tapper, Is
- 9:50Speaker 2: the world safer today than interviewing him? Listen to?
- 9:53Speaker 5: Is the world safer today than it was before the
- 9:56Speaker 5: war was started?
- 9:57Speaker 4: Absolutely because and this is things to President Trump leadership,
- 10:01Speaker 4: Degrading these capabilities is really really very important for your
- 10:06Speaker 4: my safety here in the US, in Europe, in the
- 10:08Speaker 4: Middle East.
- 10:09Speaker 2: All Right, even this slimee ball has to admit going
- 10:12Speaker 2: into a ran and all that we did has made
- 10:14Speaker 2: the world a lot safer. But he'll have nothing to
- 10:17Speaker 2: do with it, nothing to do with it anyway. Hopefully
- 10:20Speaker 2: we get the hell out of NATO or get them
- 10:23Speaker 2: to make some big changes. Hey, that Al Sharpton convention
- 10:27Speaker 2: continues today. Every year Al Sharpton has this National Action
- 10:31Speaker 2: Network Convention. It's taken place right over there at the
- 10:34Speaker 2: New York Sharton began Wednesday. Yesterday was the first full day,
- 10:38Speaker 2: goes through the weekend, and every big Democrat comes to
- 10:42Speaker 2: kiss the ring of Al Sharpton and appear. Today's a
- 10:46Speaker 2: big day today. Kamala Harris appears fireside chat. Imagine listening
- 10:52Speaker 2: to this yo yo for an hour. Also in fact,
- 10:56Speaker 2: it's Al Sharpton interviewing her. For this is the two
- 10:59Speaker 2: most in ourarticulate people in the world discussing issues, and
- 11:04Speaker 2: Democrats all sitting there like bobbleheads, nodding like these two
- 11:07Speaker 2: idiots are making sense. And also Pete Boodha Judge will
- 11:11Speaker 2: appear all kinds of speculation that he's going to run
- 11:15Speaker 2: in twenty twenty eight. I would think the reasons for
- 11:18Speaker 2: the speculation is he's totally useless. He hasn't had a
- 11:22Speaker 2: job in two years. He's out of work, got nothing
- 11:25Speaker 2: to do, and he's always wanted to run. Got a
- 11:29Speaker 2: lot of experience. He was the mayor of a tiny
- 11:31Speaker 2: little town. Then he was the Secretary Transportation, completely screwed up.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Every inch of the job was a total disaster. And
- 11:39Speaker 2: in the democratic world, that's a resume, that's a reason
- 11:42Speaker 2: to run. So he'll be there today now. The only
- 11:44Speaker 2: thing is people at the convention tell me that, you know, oh,
- 11:48Speaker 2: Kamala Harris is going to talk. Whoa Kamala Harris is
- 11:50Speaker 2: gonna be there. They tell me that there's absolutely no
- 11:53Speaker 2: interest in Pete Boodha Judge. Nobody buzzing about him, Nobody
- 11:57Speaker 2: that interested. Also, he's been running around doing these kind
- 12:00Speaker 2: of things. People will also tell you that he is
- 12:05Speaker 2: major pain in the ass. He's a kind of a
- 12:08Speaker 2: nobody in the democratic world. And he's a cute guy.
- 12:11Speaker 2: He's charging a little charmed to him. But an absolute nobody.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And then whenever he comes to peer at anything, he's
- 12:17Speaker 2: a total diva. His demands are crazy. He comes in
- 12:20Speaker 2: like he's the President of the United States with the
- 12:22Speaker 2: demands for he needs this, he needs that, he needs
- 12:24Speaker 2: so he drives people crazy wherever he goes. And so
- 12:29Speaker 2: that'll be today.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Hey.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Also, since they're both speaking, they'll both end up in
- 12:34Speaker 2: the green room together. I imagine it'll be cordial. But
- 12:37Speaker 2: remember he really expected to be chosen as Kamala's vice
- 12:42Speaker 2: presidential candidate. She wouldn't. She didn't choose him. I think
- 12:46Speaker 2: she actually said at one point there were too many
- 12:49Speaker 2: problems with him. So he's not going to be too
- 12:51Speaker 2: thrilled with that. But maybe they'll make up today in
- 12:54Speaker 2: the green room. Hey, this is awful, awful, awful case
- 12:59Speaker 2: in in the Bronx. Now there's a cop who has
- 13:03Speaker 2: to make a split second life and death decision. There's
- 13:09Speaker 2: a drug dealer. It's a sting operation. They're trying to
- 13:12Speaker 2: get these drug dealers and this one drug dealer jumps
- 13:14Speaker 2: on the motorcycle to get away. But as he tries
- 13:17Speaker 2: to speed away, he's heading into a bunch of cops
- 13:21Speaker 2: and it looked like he was going to hit them
- 13:22Speaker 2: with his motorcycle. Now, how do you stop this guy?
- 13:27Speaker 2: You're a Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods. What do you do?
- 13:30Speaker 2: What would Danny Reagan do? Well, it was a big
- 13:32Speaker 2: cooler there. So the cop split second, I mean, do
- 13:36Speaker 2: you let these cops get run over and really hurt?
- 13:39Speaker 2: He picks up the cooler and throws it at the motorcycle,
- 13:42Speaker 2: trying to knock the motorcycle down so it won't hit
- 13:45Speaker 2: the cops. Well, it is all split second. Nobody could
- 13:49Speaker 2: predict anything. So he throws it. It hits the driver
- 13:51Speaker 2: the motorcycle, which goes into a tree, and the guy
- 13:55Speaker 2: riding the motorcycle is dead. He dies. Cop is charged
- 14:00Speaker 2: with manslaughter, a murder, you know all they charge them
- 14:03Speaker 2: with anything and everything. Now this is this is the
- 14:07Speaker 2: bronx So you got these left wing kook das, real real,
- 14:12Speaker 2: real left wing das. This is a Bronx DA. Remember
- 14:16Speaker 2: you're in the world of Tiss James and Alvin Bragg,
- 14:20Speaker 2: those kind of types. So they prosecute the hell out
- 14:22Speaker 2: of this poor cop, who really was a hero. I mean,
- 14:27Speaker 2: it turned out to be a mistake to do that,
- 14:30Speaker 2: but again, in a split second decision. Who would know?
- 14:33Speaker 2: He decides because he's in the Bronx. Remember Bonfire, the vanities.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You know, they're not going to trust a Bronx jury
- 14:39Speaker 2: against a cop. A Bronx jury will most likely crucify
- 14:42Speaker 2: a cop. So they decide we'll do a bench trial,
- 14:45Speaker 2: which means the judge will decide. But then they end
- 14:48Speaker 2: up getting this awful judge, Guy Mitchell. I mean, if
- 14:52Speaker 2: you had the sentences cop, he convicted the cop probably shouldn't.
- 14:56Speaker 2: But let's say you do. It's a it's a cop,
- 14:59Speaker 2: a public servant. Let's you could almost argue why you
- 15:02Speaker 2: had to convict him, but it's a cop. Maybe you
- 15:06Speaker 2: give him a house arrest, you do, you don't send
- 15:09Speaker 2: him to prison. And if you talk to lawyers, if
- 15:12Speaker 2: they said, if you had to send him to prison,
- 15:15Speaker 2: maybe one year. This awful judge, Guy Mitchell, gave him
- 15:18Speaker 2: three to nine years over sentenced him like crazy. Now,
- 15:22Speaker 2: one of the problems was you had the Al Sharpton crowd,
- 15:25Speaker 2: the Black Lives Matter crowd, and what were they there
- 15:28Speaker 2: for to defend the drug dealer? Do pre was this thing?
- 15:31Speaker 2: They were there to defend the drug dealer. We're chanting
- 15:34Speaker 2: for him, you know, trying to be menacing, intimidating everybody
- 15:37Speaker 2: in the courtroom say his name, yeah, all that kind
- 15:44Speaker 2: of stuff. Now, the only hope of this cop is
- 15:47Speaker 2: an appeal. Arthur Idella, great lawyer, he's he's gonna do
- 15:52Speaker 2: the appeal. Alan Derschwitz has volunteered to help out on this.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Here's Arthur Idella and.
- 15:57Speaker 1: He was a civilian under the same exact set of circumstances.
- 16:01Speaker 7: I don't even think he would be charged.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Now the thing is they got to get this
- 16:05Speaker 2: out of the bronx, get it to someplace normal, someplace sane,
- 16:09Speaker 2: and try to get this done. Prosecutors from Letitia James
- 16:14Speaker 2: office argued against this cop and it was really it's
- 16:18Speaker 2: just an awful, awful situation and hopefully they'll do something now.
- 16:22Speaker 2: This awful judge, Guy Mitchell, there was another case where
- 16:25Speaker 2: it was almost the same thing and it was an
- 16:28Speaker 2: awful awful drug dealer and he pled guilty to the
- 16:31Speaker 2: same exact charges. He was a drug dealer, he's part
- 16:33Speaker 2: of a gang, a gang. The judge did nothing, gave
- 16:36Speaker 2: him at slap on the wrist nine months. So the
- 16:40Speaker 2: double standard of this judge pretty obvious. It's just absolutely awful. Now,
- 16:45Speaker 2: the other thing about this judge, he's going to get
- 16:48Speaker 2: sentenced in a couple of months. He's or he got sentenced,
- 16:51Speaker 2: but he's going to appeal in a couple months. Talk
- 16:54Speaker 2: to other judges. Every judge said there's no way they'd
- 16:57Speaker 2: put the guy in jail. They'd let him out on
- 16:59Speaker 2: bail pending appeal. This judge wouldn't give him bail. He
- 17:03Speaker 2: remanded him, which is unbelievable, really awful of this judge.
- 17:08Speaker 2: What happened to this no bail. It's no bail, no
- 17:10Speaker 2: jail for everybody except this guy. This guy remanded. Hey,
- 17:13Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 17:16Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 17:20Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Set up pre sat on the iHeartRadio app to double
- 17:25Speaker 1: o R to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's
- 17:28Speaker 1: podcast to hear him anytime.
- 17:31Speaker 7: Now back to Mark Simone on do WO R.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh VIC
- 17:38Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania.
- 17:39Speaker 8: VIC.
- 17:40Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 17:41Speaker 6: I'm going by Mark. I have two points if I may.
- 17:44Speaker 9: First, one is Camp Millennia sue this clown.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Actually she did Uh, Michael Wolf, Yeah, I think he
- 17:54Speaker 2: sued her first. She countersued him.
- 17:57Speaker 9: Uh.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And actually she did go after a lot of people legally,
- 18:00Speaker 2: and they had to apologize publicly. One was James Carvill
- 18:04Speaker 2: I think the other was was it The Daily Beast,
- 18:07Speaker 2: you know, which is a horrible left wing Yeah, so
- 18:10Speaker 2: she got apologies out of them. They did have to
- 18:13Speaker 2: retract stuff. So yeah, she has gone after them and
- 18:16Speaker 2: she should keep doing that. Let's go to Stuart in
- 18:20Speaker 2: South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing, Hey.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Mark car are you you know?
- 18:24Speaker 6: I was just going to say that.
- 18:25Speaker 10: It's every officer's duty to protect others from eminent danger.
- 18:30Speaker 10: There was a case where there was a guy shooting.
- 18:33Speaker 10: The officer hit him with his car because you have
- 18:35Speaker 10: to watch collateral damage. You're in a situation where you
- 18:39Speaker 10: can't shoot someone who may be hurting other people, so
- 18:42Speaker 10: you do what you have to do to stop that
- 18:44Speaker 10: imminent danger. And the fact that there's no bond is
- 18:47Speaker 10: just it's so ludicrous. In New York City where they're
- 18:50Speaker 10: letting everybody out, it's just unbelievable. The morale and the
- 18:55Speaker 10: department is down to nothing.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, it's a long time law enforcement guy. This
- 19:00Speaker 2: Gilgo Beach rex Huremann. Have you ever seen a guy
- 19:03Speaker 2: look that crazy look? Does he look like a real
- 19:06Speaker 2: serial killer? He looks crazy, doesn't he?
- 19:09Speaker 10: Yeah, he does look kind of nuts. You know, we
- 19:11Speaker 10: don't get a lot of the information down here on
- 19:13Speaker 10: when it's gone down up there. I followed that case
- 19:16Speaker 10: when it was first going on, and I was thinking,
- 19:18Speaker 10: there is a serial killer. But a lot of times
- 19:21Speaker 10: who I found out through decades of law enforcement that
- 19:25Speaker 10: who you are inside very often comes on out in
- 19:29Speaker 10: your face and what you look like or what your
- 19:31Speaker 10: home looks like, and it is indicative of who you
- 19:34Speaker 10: are inside.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, good point. All right, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 19:37Speaker 2: to Bob and New Rochelle. Bob, how you doing?
- 19:40Speaker 8: Hey?
- 19:40Speaker 6: Mark? How you doing.
- 19:42Speaker 5: I gotta tell you, if I had a child that
- 19:43Speaker 5: was looking to go into law enforcement, I would do
- 19:45Speaker 5: everything in my power to dissuade them. It has turned
- 19:48Speaker 5: into such a s show. It's disgusting. It just drives
- 19:53Speaker 5: me nuts. And I certainly hope that this guy has
- 19:55Speaker 5: happened any time President Trump comes in parts them.
- 19:59Speaker 2: But I can't. You can't partner. But it's a local case,
- 20:01Speaker 2: it's not a federal case. So you can't partner, but
- 20:03Speaker 2: the governor should partner. Hey, watch Bruce Blakeman. Hopefully, hopefully
- 20:07Speaker 2: he'll make an issue out of this stupid case. Hopefully
- 20:09Speaker 2: should do something about it. District attorneys are under the governor. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 2: but being in law enforcement is a very very honorable,
- 20:18Speaker 2: noble profession. I understand what you're saying. But maybe, and
- 20:21Speaker 2: this is probably the case, you want to go into
- 20:23Speaker 2: a law enforcement you go into it in Westchester, in
- 20:25Speaker 2: Nassau County, or somewhere else, not in New York where
- 20:28Speaker 2: you're at the mercy of these crazy, insane judges. Let's
- 20:31Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Marra Mark. Between this verdict
- 20:39Speaker 8: throwing the book at this cop and last week the
- 20:43Speaker 8: judge and the jewelry not coon victim Johnathandilla's kill a
- 20:48Speaker 8: first degree murder, this is, as Stuart said, this is
- 20:53Speaker 8: lowering the morale of the police force. Cops are not
- 20:57Speaker 8: going to reop after they had twenty years. Theyre going
- 21:00Speaker 8: to get out, or if they're not already vested, Florida
- 21:04Speaker 8: and the other Red states are going to take them
- 21:07Speaker 8: because they're being treated better in other States, and also
- 21:11Speaker 8: the SANTIS is giving them like a five thousand dollars
- 21:14Speaker 8: incentive to move down there. And this is just what
- 21:18Speaker 8: these Kamis like Vandami want. They want all the best detectives,
- 21:24Speaker 8: people like Stewart, all the old timers. They want them
- 21:28Speaker 8: to leave. And this judge, this spineless piece of s
- 21:33Speaker 8: The only one of the reasons why he people like
- 21:37Speaker 8: him do that is because they don't want Hawk Newsome
- 21:41Speaker 8: and that other garbage from BLM protesting outside their house
- 21:47Speaker 8: like they do to Shuma and then he quakes in
- 21:50Speaker 8: his boots and he cames in the way.
- 21:53Speaker 2: That's not the only reason these judges have got This
- 21:55Speaker 2: guy's name is Guy Mitchell, appointed by Deblasio. Many of
- 21:58Speaker 2: them are left wing kooks, done left wing Coppatrid, some
- 22:02Speaker 2: of these judges.
- 22:04Speaker 8: But this is really bad because also this is what
- 22:08Speaker 8: Mandamie wants. People are gonna they're not gonna re up
- 22:11Speaker 8: already there's a shortage of detectives. I think we're supposed
- 22:17Speaker 8: to be up to seven hundred with down to four hundred,
- 22:20Speaker 8: and Mandami's not gonna high up more people.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Absolutely right, it's gonna be. It's gonna we gotta go
- 22:26Speaker 2: for the news, Vincent, it's gonna be a problem, but
- 22:28Speaker 2: great call. Uh oh, when we come back, John Carney,
- 22:31Speaker 2: the brilliant business reporter. And the numbers came out today,
- 22:35Speaker 2: inflation numbers, consumer price index. How bad was it? How good?
- 22:39Speaker 2: What's the real deal with inflation in the economy. We'll
- 22:42Speaker 2: get to that in a moment. What's gonna happen with
- 22:43Speaker 2: oil prices? We'll get to that coming up on seven
- 22:46Speaker 2: to ten w R.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Let's get back to the Mark Simon show, im w they.
- 22:52Speaker 2: With us right now. The brilliant John Carney, he writes,
- 22:55Speaker 2: he's the editor of Breitbart Business Digest, which the smartest
- 22:59Speaker 2: people in business economists. They also the first thing they
- 23:02Speaker 2: read every day, the Breitbart Business Digest. And John Karney,
- 23:06Speaker 2: you can get it for free. It's a newsletter. It'll
- 23:09Speaker 2: come right to you. Just go to Breitbart dot com
- 23:11Speaker 2: and where it says newsletters, sign up for the Business Digest.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Very important to read that every day. Breitbart Business Digest.
- 23:18Speaker 2: John Carney, how you doing, very good? Mark, thanks for
- 23:22Speaker 2: having me. Hey, these numbers that came out today, inflation,
- 23:25Speaker 2: consumer price Of course, the fake news will make it
- 23:29Speaker 2: look like disastrous numbers. What's the real story.
- 23:32Speaker 9: So the real story is that something everybody knows. Gasoline
- 23:36Speaker 9: prices went up a lot during the Iran War. We
- 23:39Speaker 9: had the shutdown of the straighter for moves, pushed up
- 23:43Speaker 9: gasoline prices, pushed up oil prices. But beyond that, the
- 23:48Speaker 9: numbers are actually really good. Their grocery prices fell zero
- 23:53Speaker 9: point two percent for the month. Overall inflation was up
- 23:57Speaker 9: just zero point two percent. That's actual less than what
- 24:01Speaker 9: was expected. So this is very much confined to gasoline,
- 24:08Speaker 9: other energy products a little bit, but really a story
- 24:12Speaker 9: where you had a lot of inflation of higher prices
- 24:16Speaker 9: in gas that didn't spread to the rest of the economy.
- 24:20Speaker 9: It's not a story of well, we're paying more for gas,
- 24:23Speaker 9: so other prices.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Are going up.
- 24:25Speaker 10: No.
- 24:25Speaker 9: In fact, the opposite looks like it's happening. We're getting
- 24:28Speaker 9: a better supply story in a lot of things. Prices
- 24:32Speaker 9: aren't moving up. It's really just gas prices.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And do you have any doubt that gas will come
- 24:38Speaker 2: right back down as soon as the Iran stuff is over.
- 24:42Speaker 9: Yeah, Look, it's already oil prices have fallen dramatically because
- 24:47Speaker 9: of just the ceasefire. We're not even really getting that
- 24:50Speaker 9: much oil through the straight up her mood. Yet there's
- 24:54Speaker 9: a lot of unclarity about what's going on there. But
- 24:59Speaker 9: the ices have dropped from we were up near one
- 25:01Speaker 9: hundred and ten dollars barrel down into the nineties. They'll
- 25:06Speaker 9: probably drop further that will be reflected in gas prices.
- 25:11Speaker 9: So yes, that's going to come off very quickly, and
- 25:15Speaker 9: I think we're going to see some very good results
- 25:19Speaker 9: in the future when it comes to these inflation numbers. Again,
- 25:22Speaker 9: this is just a gasoline story.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so we don't get oil from the Straits. We
- 25:28Speaker 2: really don't need it. I know, are US oil? They
- 25:31Speaker 2: raise the prices to match the world price, But couldn't
- 25:34Speaker 2: they not do that? Could they just keep the price
- 25:37Speaker 2: where it is based on the fact that we have
- 25:38Speaker 2: plenty of oil.
- 25:40Speaker 9: Yeah, look, we do have plenty of oil. But actually,
- 25:43Speaker 9: one of the things that happens when the price of
- 25:47Speaker 9: oil goes up around the world is it increases demand
- 25:51Speaker 9: from other places for US oil. So Japan can't get
- 25:56Speaker 9: oil right now from the person golf, so they're putting
- 26:01Speaker 9: in orders for US oil. So that's why our price
- 26:06Speaker 9: went up, is people are turning to US. I actually
- 26:10Speaker 9: think there may be not a permanent increase to oil
- 26:15Speaker 9: prices from this, but a permanent shift in demand towards
- 26:18Speaker 9: the US, meaning people who were from countries, whether it's Japan,
- 26:25Speaker 9: South Korea, even China that we're getting a lot of
- 26:28Speaker 9: their oil from the Persian Gulf now realize that that's
- 26:30Speaker 9: not as secure as they thought, and they're going to
- 26:34Speaker 9: start saying we need to have better relationships with US
- 26:37Speaker 9: oil producers so that we can get more of it
- 26:40Speaker 9: from there, not be as reliant as we have been
- 26:43Speaker 9: on the Persian Gulf. We do have a problem in
- 26:47Speaker 9: that the environmentalists have basically prevented US from building a
- 26:51Speaker 9: pipeline to the West Coast, which would make it much
- 26:55Speaker 9: easier to take our oil from North Dakota, from Oklahoma,
- 26:59Speaker 9: from Texas and bring it into Asia. Right now, believe
- 27:04Speaker 9: it or not, Mark the oil goes all the way
- 27:07Speaker 9: from the Gulf of Mexico all the way around South
- 27:11Speaker 9: America and then up to Asia. It's basically like a
- 27:15Speaker 9: nineteenth century whaling ship has to sail all the way
- 27:19Speaker 9: around South America to get all They can't even get
- 27:22Speaker 9: through the Panama Canal because these oil tankers are so big.
- 27:27Speaker 9: In the Panama Canal is one already, you know, basically
- 27:30Speaker 9: stuffed to the gills with traffic. And number two, it
- 27:33Speaker 9: can't take the giant oil tankers. It can take smaller ones,
- 27:36Speaker 9: but the oil goes all the way around, which is
- 27:38Speaker 9: sort of mind blowing that we're still doing that.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Well, so, John Connie, the left yelling and screaming, look
- 27:44Speaker 2: what Trump did to the gas prices. Look what that's
- 27:46Speaker 2: doing to your pocketbook. But didn't the left do that
- 27:50Speaker 2: to your energy bill? Your electric bill used to be
- 27:52Speaker 2: one hundred dollars, now it's five hundred. Isn't that what
- 27:55Speaker 2: the left did because of their green schemes and all
- 27:57Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 27:58Speaker 9: Oh yeah, Look, they want energy prices to be high.
- 28:03Speaker 9: They really want oil prices to be high. If they could,
- 28:08Speaker 9: if they could get their way, oil prices and gasoline
- 28:10Speaker 9: prices would be much higher. All you have to do
- 28:12Speaker 9: is look at where oil price, where gasoline is cheaper,
- 28:15Speaker 9: and where it's more expensive. It's super expensive in states
- 28:19Speaker 9: like California that have enormous taxes on gasoline, So they
- 28:25Speaker 9: would And why do they want gasoline to be expensive.
- 28:28Speaker 9: One they want people to stop using fossil fuels. Two,
- 28:32Speaker 9: when you get it, when you get the price of
- 28:34Speaker 9: gasoline to go up. It makes the idea of getting
- 28:38Speaker 9: an electric car a little bit more attractive because you say,
- 28:41Speaker 9: I wouldn't have to pay as much for gasoline. So
- 28:44Speaker 9: they're trying they want these things to be more expensive
- 28:47Speaker 9: so that their green scheme alternatives look relatively less expensive.
- 28:53Speaker 9: It's phony when they complain about the price of gasoline
- 28:57Speaker 9: going up. They want it higher. And if they get
- 28:59Speaker 9: a elected into office, believe me, what we've seen right
- 29:03Speaker 9: now will be nothing compared to what we will be
- 29:07Speaker 9: paying for gasoline if we have a Democratic Congress and
- 29:11Speaker 9: a Democratic president.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well hey, John Carney, right by business. I just we've
- 29:15Speaker 2: been quoting you all week. We're talking about the stock market,
- 29:18Speaker 2: you know, crashing on the beginning of Iran. It's soaring,
- 29:21Speaker 2: and you called it an overreaction machine. I think that's
- 29:25Speaker 2: the best description of it. It really is, that, isn't it.
- 29:29Speaker 9: Absolutely? Look one of the things that happens is investors
- 29:34Speaker 9: basically begin to overreact and then you get a recursiveness
- 29:39Speaker 9: because they see stocks starting to fall and you know,
- 29:43Speaker 9: they sold a little, and then they say, oh it's
- 29:45Speaker 9: going down even more, I better sell more. So you
- 29:48Speaker 9: do get this overreaction, and then it also over corrects
- 29:51Speaker 9: the other way, where you get these huge jumps. Over time,
- 29:55Speaker 9: it tends to even out. Right, it's in the short
- 29:58Speaker 9: term it can look absolutely nuts. But when we look
- 30:02Speaker 9: back on say stocks this year or even last year, right,
- 30:05Speaker 9: stockworker did really well last year even though we had,
- 30:09Speaker 9: you know, the Liberation Day reaction where stocks crashed. So,
- 30:14Speaker 9: you know, my advice to everybody is, look, unless you're
- 30:18Speaker 9: a you know, like a trader at a Wall Street
- 30:21Speaker 9: firm or a hedge fund and you know you're trying
- 30:23Speaker 9: to trade that little that volatility that happens, you know,
- 30:27Speaker 9: look past that stuff. What's going to happen over the
- 30:30Speaker 9: year is all of these ups and downs will look
- 30:33Speaker 9: very small compared to what the actual trend of stocks.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we went through this with terras remember that stock
- 30:40Speaker 2: market crash and then we hit all time eyes after that.
- 30:43Speaker 9: So that's right, And what the reason is because ultimately
- 30:48Speaker 9: what stocks reflect is the shape is how the economy
- 30:52Speaker 9: is doing. The economy is actually doing quite well. We
- 30:55Speaker 9: have a lot of tailwinds in the economy right now
- 30:58Speaker 9: that are actually stronger than the higher price of gasolin. Yes,
- 31:02Speaker 9: higher price of gasoline is a drag on the economy.
- 31:06Speaker 9: But all of the Trump tax cuts that are hitting
- 31:09Speaker 9: right now, all of the deregulation that's hitting right now,
- 31:12Speaker 9: that's actually propelling the economy forward even stronger than the
- 31:17Speaker 9: higher gas prices are a drag. So I think we're
- 31:20Speaker 9: actually going to see accelerating growth through the year.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Wow. All right, that's a good note to end on.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Very good. John Carney writes stuff for Breitbart Business Digests.
- 31:30Speaker 2: He's the editor and I love reading it every day.
- 31:32Speaker 11: Now.
- 31:33Speaker 2: The best way to get it you go to Breitbart
- 31:34Speaker 2: dot com. Right, go to newsletters.
- 31:36Speaker 9: Yep, go to newsletters. It's totally free. It comes to
- 31:39Speaker 9: your inbox every day, and on Friday it's especially fun.
- 31:44Speaker 9: We do a kind of lighthearted weekly wrap of everything
- 31:47Speaker 9: that's happened. So today's a good day to subscribe.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, go to bright bart dot com, go to newsletters
- 31:53Speaker 2: and sign up for the bright Bart Business Digest. It's
- 31:55Speaker 2: excellent stuff. And read John Karney every day. You'll really
- 31:59Speaker 2: really a lot, John Carney, thanks for being with us,
- 32:03Speaker 2: Thanks for having me, Mark, take care, don't forget Buck
- 32:07Speaker 2: and Clay Noon today. Well, it's a very good show
- 32:09Speaker 2: every day from noon to three then you got the
- 32:11Speaker 2: most listened to radio show in America, biggest audience. Actually
- 32:16Speaker 2: probably have anything on radio TV. Sean Hannity Radio Show
- 32:19Speaker 2: three to six. You got Jesse Kelly at six. You
- 32:21Speaker 2: got Jimmy Fayla every night at night, excellent show. It's
- 32:26Speaker 2: very funny. It's every weeknight nine to midnight here on
- 32:29Speaker 2: seven ten WR mister New York.
- 32:32Speaker 7: He's on the game, The Marks Damone Show on sevent ten.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Wor Hey, it's gonna be a really nice weekend. It's
- 32:41Speaker 2: gonna be in the sixties, mid sixties. Then next week,
- 32:44Speaker 2: next week it'll be in the eighties. It might even
- 32:46Speaker 2: hit ninety next week. So summers a couple months away,
- 32:50Speaker 2: but you'll get a preview all in next week. So Democrats,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you're crazy liberal left wing friends. You know, it's like
- 33:03Speaker 2: if you ever know somebody in a cult, you can't
- 33:05Speaker 2: talk to them, you can't talk them out of being
- 33:07Speaker 2: in the cult. You can't tell them what's wrong with
- 33:09Speaker 2: the cult. They're not going to listen to you. So
- 33:11Speaker 2: they're kind of like people in a cult. You know,
- 33:12Speaker 2: they watch MSNBC, they watch CNN, and you can't argue
- 33:17Speaker 2: with what they're being told because they when they look
- 33:20Speaker 2: at MSNBC, they actually think they're watching some sort of
- 33:22Speaker 2: a newscast. The set looks like a news set that
- 33:26Speaker 2: anchors got glasses and a bow tie, and they think
- 33:29Speaker 2: they're watching hard news. They're just watching crazy, made up stuff.
- 33:34Speaker 2: You know, Malania met Donald Trump through Jeffrey Epstein, and
- 33:39Speaker 2: they believe all this kind of stuff. Then they put
- 33:41Speaker 2: on this guy, Michael Wolfe, this wormy little author, to
- 33:45Speaker 2: discuss how close Trump was to Epstein. Well, if you
- 33:51Speaker 2: read through the Epstein files, in which I have, it's
- 33:54Speaker 2: millions of pages, but you'll see Trump was not close
- 33:58Speaker 2: to Epstein. He knew him briefly one hundred years ago.
- 34:01Speaker 2: But you'll see that nobody was closer to Epstein. Nobody
- 34:06Speaker 2: was more tangled up with Epstein than Michael Wolfe. They
- 34:10Speaker 2: were conspiring every day, meeting every day, talking every day,
- 34:14Speaker 2: emailing a thousand times that week back, and nobody had
- 34:17Speaker 2: a tighter relationship with Epstein than Michael wolf You watch this.
- 34:21Speaker 2: This guy puts out these videos every day. He I'm
- 34:25Speaker 2: looking at one today. It's about how shameful it was
- 34:27Speaker 2: that Melanie would have anything to do with Epstein. Nobody
- 34:29Speaker 2: had more to do with Epstein than Michael Wolfe. They
- 34:33Speaker 2: never mentioned that when they interview. Never bring it up.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Never show all the emails that were going back and
- 34:39Speaker 2: forth between the two of them. Hey, we got a
- 34:41Speaker 2: lot to get to in the next hour. We'll get
- 34:45Speaker 2: to Iran, We'll get to more about the crazy left
- 34:49Speaker 2: coming up. We'll get to Artemis and more. Right after
- 34:52Speaker 2: the news, Mark Simone here on seven to ten woh.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Mark Simon issues you really care about? On seventeen w R.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday. A lot to get to today. We'll
- 35:06Speaker 2: get to Artemis, We'll get to Mayor, Mom, Donnie and more.
- 35:12Speaker 2: You know, we're going explaining to you. The Democrats come
- 35:15Speaker 2: up with these fake narratives, these fake talking points, and
- 35:19Speaker 2: many of them are organized. There's a couple of K
- 35:22Speaker 2: Street groups. That's where all the lobbyists are K Street.
- 35:25Speaker 2: That's where these real deep state lobbying firms are in
- 35:29Speaker 2: these political action you know, these packs, and so sometimes
- 35:34Speaker 2: they have these conference calls in the morning. Well, they'll
- 35:36Speaker 2: tell every major Democrat here's the talking point, here's the
- 35:39Speaker 2: life of the today. A week or two ago, it
- 35:43Speaker 2: was war crimes. Remember the President tweeted out, it's gonna
- 35:46Speaker 2: be bridge and power plant day. We're going to blow
- 35:49Speaker 2: up bridges and power plants. So they were all told,
- 35:52Speaker 2: go on the air, go in print, call it war crimes,
- 35:55Speaker 2: war crimes, blowing up power plants, deliberately blowing up the bridges,
- 36:00Speaker 2: war crimes. So it was all over the fake news.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And again you're left wing friends, they're in a cult.
- 36:07Speaker 2: You can't. Don't even argue with them, you can't. They're
- 36:10Speaker 2: watching MSNBC and all they're hearing all did this is
- 36:12Speaker 2: a war crime, and they believe it. They think they're
- 36:15Speaker 2: watching some sort of experts in a newscast and you're
- 36:18Speaker 2: not going to convince them of anything. You could go
- 36:22Speaker 2: to them and say, hey, every war we ever fought,
- 36:25Speaker 2: the first thing we do is take out the bridges
- 36:27Speaker 2: and power plants. Both Iraq Wars. Day one we took
- 36:31Speaker 2: out bridges and power plants, World War two, that's what
- 36:34Speaker 2: we did. Every day we blew up bridges. You could
- 36:37Speaker 2: show them, here's the documents, here's the proof. They're still
- 36:41Speaker 2: not going to listen to you. On MSNBC they said
- 36:44Speaker 2: it's a war crime, so they that's why you'll hear
- 36:46Speaker 2: them all use the same phrases Now, some of these
- 36:50Speaker 2: guys are not that bright. Hakeem Jeffreys not a very
- 36:54Speaker 2: bright guy. So the problem with him when they give
- 36:57Speaker 2: him a fake talking point to say, he'll keep saying
- 37:00Speaker 2: it for weeks, weeks and weeks and weeks. He'll never stop,
- 37:05Speaker 2: even when it wore out and it's not work, He'll
- 37:07Speaker 2: just keep saying it. Here's the Hakim Jeffries.
- 37:09Speaker 12: We're in active conversations with Republicans to secure an additional
- 37:14Speaker 12: handful of our Republican colleagues, which is all we will
- 37:19Speaker 12: need to join House Democrats in stopping this reckless.
- 37:24Speaker 2: War of choice, war of choice, war of choice that
- 37:26Speaker 2: was They tried that about two and a half weeks,
- 37:28Speaker 2: this war of choice, Schumer, everybody was on every Sunday show,
- 37:32Speaker 2: this war of choice. Well they found out a couple
- 37:34Speaker 2: of days later it wasn't working. That didn't mean anything
- 37:37Speaker 2: wasn't working with the public. It's a war of choice. Well,
- 37:40Speaker 2: the public's not that stupid. Every single war we ever
- 37:43Speaker 2: fought was a war of choice. Both Iraq Wars we
- 37:46Speaker 2: didn't have to go and it's a war of choice.
- 37:49Speaker 2: World War two, it was a war of choice. We
- 37:51Speaker 2: didn't have to go In fact, we didn't go in
- 37:52Speaker 2: there for a long time. You could argue Japan, you know,
- 37:58Speaker 2: Pearl Harvey, you had it. No, you didn't have war
- 38:00Speaker 2: of choice. I'm trying to think the only war, well,
- 38:05Speaker 2: nine to eleven. That was a terrible attack, but it
- 38:07Speaker 2: was just one day Civil War. I guess you had
- 38:11Speaker 2: no choice in the Civil War. Civil War, you had
- 38:12Speaker 2: no choice. That was the only war that wasn't a
- 38:15Speaker 2: war of choice. But he keeps using the same stupid
- 38:19Speaker 2: talking point, war of choice. And here's more of you
- 38:24Speaker 2: on our return. He always talks to you know, he
- 38:28Speaker 2: looks like a robot when he talks. And he always
- 38:30Speaker 2: goes on these shows, tells you when they come back,
- 38:32Speaker 2: they are gonna combat, and they're gonna team up with
- 38:34Speaker 2: the Republicans, and they are going to do this and
- 38:36Speaker 2: that and this, and the meantime, it never gets done.
- 38:39Speaker 12: Upon our return, we will force another vote on the
- 38:44Speaker 12: House floor around the War Powers Resolution that will compel
- 38:50Speaker 12: the Trump administration to cease military hostilities immediately so we
- 38:57Speaker 12: can all focus on the issues that we know matter
- 39:02Speaker 12: to everyday Americans.
- 39:04Speaker 2: He is the greatest gift to Republicans. He is perfect
- 39:08Speaker 2: for a Democratic leader. It's all just talk, and he's
- 39:11Speaker 2: so definite about everything. When we come, we will compel definitely.
- 39:18Speaker 2: That's gonna do this and that, and everybody just looks
- 39:21Speaker 2: at him. Okay, good luck with that. Nobody ever listens
- 39:24Speaker 2: to this guy. Nothing he ever says ever actually happens.
- 39:29Speaker 2: But they'll keep putting them on. I'll be on CNN,
- 39:33Speaker 2: He'll be on MSNBC. They'll put this robot on every
- 39:36Speaker 2: watch this Sunday. He'll be on every Sunday show, this
- 39:39Speaker 2: robot about they're gonna compel to definitely, and the Sunday
- 39:46Speaker 2: show anchors will nod like bobbleheads and nothing will happen. Hey,
- 39:50Speaker 2: you want to hear something embarrassing. You know who the
- 39:52Speaker 2: most embarrassing guy in the world is right now? Hunter Biden.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Hunter Biden. You know, his father's device vice president. So
- 40:00Speaker 2: Hunter Biden is pay to play influence pedling. Father is
- 40:08Speaker 2: the vice president. So he goes over there to Ukraine.
- 40:10Speaker 2: He gets on the board of an energy company. He
- 40:12Speaker 2: knows nothing about energies and that guys never had a job.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Suddenly he's on the board of directors of an international
- 40:18Speaker 2: energy company. They give him three million to join the
- 40:21Speaker 2: board they're giving him whatever was a million a year.
- 40:24Speaker 2: He's making a fortune from that. Other companies are paying
- 40:27Speaker 2: him all sorts of shady people in the Ukraine. They're
- 40:29Speaker 2: paying them tons of money for influence, and he delivered.
- 40:34Speaker 2: You need to lilive. Remember his father was vice president.
- 40:36Speaker 2: There was a prosecutor looking into that energy company. Vice
- 40:40Speaker 2: president Biden admits to this. He admitted to it on video.
- 40:43Speaker 2: He said, yeah, I called the president Ukraine, you fire
- 40:45Speaker 2: that prosecutor and get rid of and he did. Then
- 40:48Speaker 2: his father becomes president and he's making a fortune from
- 40:51Speaker 2: all over the place, getting paid influence pedling. You remember all
- 40:55Speaker 2: those guys that foreign shady companies, and they're all flying
- 41:00Speaker 2: over and he's taking him into the White House and
- 41:02Speaker 2: they're meeting with the president. This guy was making a fortune,
- 41:04Speaker 2: this hunter Biden. And then when that got exposed and
- 41:08Speaker 2: kind of dried up. Remember he started that It was
- 41:10Speaker 2: clever but a ridiculous scheme where he would pretend he
- 41:13Speaker 2: was a painter. He wasn't, and he was just big
- 41:16Speaker 2: like finger painting like a kindergartener. But he'd put this
- 41:20Speaker 2: crap in a frame and people would pay five hundred
- 41:23Speaker 2: thousand dollars for each one. Here's another picture. I'll give
- 41:26Speaker 2: you two hundred and fifty thousand. Here's seven hundred thousand
- 41:28Speaker 2: for that picture. There were just junk pictures, but it
- 41:31Speaker 2: was a way to buy influence, and it worked, so
- 41:37Speaker 2: he made millions. Some people has to make twenty million
- 41:40Speaker 2: selling those junk paintings. Well, after all of this, and
- 41:45Speaker 2: now the father's out of power, and Joe Biden was
- 41:49Speaker 2: the worst president ever and the most useless guy ever.
- 41:52Speaker 2: He's a vegetable. Now he's incoherent. All the big money,
- 41:56Speaker 2: all the donors, all the big Democrats, all the big
- 41:59Speaker 2: money donors of all abandoned bidening. They want nothing from
- 42:03Speaker 2: Joe Biden, want nothing to do with Joe Biden. He's useless.
- 42:06Speaker 2: As a result. Hunter can't make any money, and he's
- 42:10Speaker 2: now totally broke. In fact, he's more than broke. He's
- 42:13Speaker 2: like twenty million in debt. But now you're saying, wait
- 42:16Speaker 2: a minute, you just said he made twenty five million.
- 42:18Speaker 2: How come he's broke because he's a crazy drug addict,
- 42:23Speaker 2: blew all the money on mansions and cars and women
- 42:25Speaker 2: and hookers and all that stuff. He owes fifteen million
- 42:29Speaker 2: to the last group of lawyers for that legal trouble.
- 42:32Speaker 2: There's another lawyer who he owes six point five million too. Yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 2: the Republican Inquiry found that nearly thirty million had been
- 42:43Speaker 2: funneled in through him. But it's all gone. He's blown
- 42:46Speaker 2: all the money. What do you do when you're a
- 42:48Speaker 2: Hunter Biden sleeves ball dirty guy and you're broke. Well,
- 42:52Speaker 2: he's teamed up with Andrew Culligan, who hosts a YouTube
- 42:58Speaker 2: series Channel five, which is some Slee's ball stupid circus stuff.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Hunter is on there. He's going to be on a
- 43:06Speaker 2: multi city tour with this with Andrew Callaghan and they
- 43:10Speaker 2: do they want to do a cage match. He'll be
- 43:12Speaker 2: in a cage match. So he's done the video asking
- 43:16Speaker 2: he wants a cage match between him and Eric Trump
- 43:20Speaker 2: and then him and Donald Trump Junior. Eric Trump is
- 43:25Speaker 2: down there. He's a block away and Trump Tower running
- 43:28Speaker 2: an international real estate empire, a multi, multi, multi billion
- 43:33Speaker 2: dollar empire, building massive skyscrapers all over the world, employing
- 43:39Speaker 2: like thirty thousand people. I think he needs is to
- 43:41Speaker 2: get involved with Hunter Biden in a cage match. If
- 43:44Speaker 2: he does these cage matches, he thinks he'll make a fortune.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Nobody's going to show up for the cage match. He's
- 43:50Speaker 2: been trying for the Trump sons. They're not going to
- 43:54Speaker 2: do it. Watch he'll end up with He'll end up
- 43:57Speaker 2: with Joe Manchin's cousin or something in the cage match.
- 44:00Speaker 2: It's second ago anywhere. Joe Biden himself has signed up
- 44:04Speaker 2: with CAA, the big talent agency. You know, when you're
- 44:07Speaker 2: an ex president like Obama. Obama's made almost a billion dollars,
- 44:11Speaker 2: you get massive deals, fortunes from companies, and business guys
- 44:17Speaker 2: will pay a fortune. Bill Clinton did that for years.
- 44:20Speaker 2: You know, business guy will give you a ten million
- 44:21Speaker 2: if you help him out. He's trying to get a
- 44:23Speaker 2: deal over there in India, but he can't get it
- 44:27Speaker 2: done well. And this has happened a lot. You'll hire
- 44:29Speaker 2: a Bill Clinton to get on the plane with you,
- 44:32Speaker 2: fly over there to India, where Clinton is still very
- 44:35Speaker 2: friendly with the Indian president the parliament. He can walk
- 44:38Speaker 2: you right in there and get you your deal. Now,
- 44:40Speaker 2: Joe Biden has no relationship with anybody. He's a vegetable.
- 44:44Speaker 2: He's incoherent, he can't talk, he's useless. So no business
- 44:47Speaker 2: guys are lining up to hand him millions, but he
- 44:51Speaker 2: did sign with the big Talent Agency CIA. The other
- 44:53Speaker 2: thing you can do as an ex president you make
- 44:55Speaker 2: a fortune speaking. Ex presidents get two hundred and fifty
- 44:58Speaker 2: three hundred thousand for a speech. You know, you book
- 45:02Speaker 2: ten or twenty of those a year. That's six million
- 45:04Speaker 2: a year so far CIA, And for Biden it's three
- 45:08Speaker 2: hundred thousand of speech. The number of speeches that he's
- 45:12Speaker 2: gotten booked, they booked for him. Call here it is.
- 45:15Speaker 2: The number is oh zero zero. Nobody wants him to speak.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Who's going to pay a guy three hundred thousand dollars
- 45:22Speaker 2: to get up and bring You gonna have to bring
- 45:24Speaker 2: five hundred people into a venue, and he's gonna get
- 45:27Speaker 2: up there for an hour and go. Nobody's gonna listen
- 45:31Speaker 2: to that. Who wants to hear that? Hey, good for
- 45:34Speaker 2: Donald Trump. He finally told off the nut jobs. All
- 45:38Speaker 2: these wackos out on the fringe, Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly,
- 45:41Speaker 2: Candas Owens, they've all become Alex Jones fringe characters. They
- 45:47Speaker 2: all used to be on TV. They got fired, they
- 45:50Speaker 2: got thrown out. Not only nobody will give him a show,
- 45:53Speaker 2: but nobody will even allow him on as a guest anymore.
- 45:56Speaker 2: So Trump went after him. They said, what happens is
- 45:59Speaker 2: if you can't get a job, if you're Tucker Carlson,
- 46:01Speaker 2: you're fired. You can't get a TV show, you can't
- 46:04Speaker 2: even get on as a guest. That's crucial because if
- 46:06Speaker 2: you want, all you can do is do your own
- 46:09Speaker 2: podcast out of your bedroom, amateur podcasts from home. But
- 46:13Speaker 2: if you could get on Hannity, or if you can
- 46:15Speaker 2: get on Cudlow, or if you could get on Jesse
- 46:17Speaker 2: Waters or something like that, you can promote your podcast.
- 46:20Speaker 2: You'll get plenty of people sign up. But if you
- 46:22Speaker 2: can't get on any show as a guest, how do
- 46:26Speaker 2: you let anybody know you got a podcast. Well, you
- 46:28Speaker 2: got to say crazy, outrageous things, so all the fake
- 46:32Speaker 2: news and left wing will pick it up and print it,
- 46:34Speaker 2: and that'll get people to come to your podcast. So
- 46:38Speaker 2: that's why they're all saying crazy nutty things. Tucker Carlson,
- 46:41Speaker 2: Megan Kelly, Canvas, Owens, they've all become the same thing
- 46:45Speaker 2: as Alex Jones. They're just looking for clicks, just saying
- 46:49Speaker 2: the bashing Trump as click bait to get clicks. Nobody
- 46:53Speaker 2: takes them seriously. Now the reason the left will put
- 46:56Speaker 2: them on and this is a total lie. Say the
- 47:00Speaker 2: megabase is torn and magabase is turned on Trump, and
- 47:03Speaker 2: then they'll quote these Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, who have
- 47:07Speaker 2: no connection at all to the magabase. But it's good
- 47:11Speaker 2: for it's good for these people getting clicks. It's good
- 47:14Speaker 2: for the networks. Making it look like there's trouble in
- 47:16Speaker 2: Trump will But President Trump yesterday putting out a long
- 47:19Speaker 2: truth social long tweet explaining it's nothing to do with
- 47:22Speaker 2: these people. They're all nuts. Here's the exact words. They've
- 47:26Speaker 2: all been thrown off television, lost their shows, aren't even
- 47:29Speaker 2: invited on TV anymore because nobody cares about them. They're
- 47:33Speaker 2: nut jobs. Troublemakers will say anything necessary for some free
- 47:37Speaker 2: and cheap publicity, all looking for clicks for their third
- 47:41Speaker 2: rate podcasts. Well said, and it's absolutely true. Taylor Swift,
- 47:47Speaker 2: where's the wedding going to be to Travis Kelsey? Oh,
- 47:49Speaker 2: everybody thought of being Rhode Island where she has a big,
- 47:52Speaker 2: huge mansion next to what's that called the Ocean House.
- 47:56Speaker 2: One of the most beautiful hotels New England Hotels, the
- 47:59Speaker 2: Ocean House in rhodein Nope, it's going to be in
- 48:02Speaker 2: New York. You know, she owns a big house in
- 48:05Speaker 2: New York. She really lives in New York more than
- 48:06Speaker 2: in Burials. So the wedding will be here. It'll be
- 48:09Speaker 2: July fourth, only prom there. You know, it's the two
- 48:15Speaker 2: hundred and fiftieth birthday of America and there's going to
- 48:18Speaker 2: be massive celebrations in Washington. The biggest events fireworks parties,
- 48:23Speaker 2: so every big name will probably be in Washington that
- 48:25Speaker 2: weekend for all of that stuff. Hey, Artemis, the spacecraft
- 48:31Speaker 2: capsule comes down today in the Pacific. It's five oh
- 48:34Speaker 2: seven pm Pacific time. Now it's actually eight oh seven
- 48:38Speaker 2: our times. It's eight o'clock eight oh seven our time.
- 48:41Speaker 2: This is I'm making a big deal out of this
- 48:44Speaker 2: splashdown because it's so dangerous, it's so risky to re
- 48:50Speaker 2: enter the Earth's orbit. You do it at twenty five
- 48:52Speaker 2: thousand miles an hour, twenty five thousand. You ever go
- 48:55Speaker 2: one hundred in your car? I hope not, but if
- 48:57Speaker 2: you ever did, go, oh my god, a hundred feels
- 49:00Speaker 2: like you're shaking. It feels imagine going twenty five thousand
- 49:03Speaker 2: miles per hour. Imagine the I clocked you at twenty
- 49:08Speaker 2: five thousand miles from now. Their survival will depend on
- 49:12Speaker 2: the sixteen foot wide heat shield on the bottom of
- 49:16Speaker 2: the capsule, because the heat shield has to endure temperatures
- 49:19Speaker 2: of five thousand degrees. Now this sounds very dangerous, but
- 49:23Speaker 2: as you go back to the sixties and the seventies,
- 49:26Speaker 2: these capsules were doing that every two weeks. There wasn't
- 49:29Speaker 2: a problem back then. Somehow, now it's a huge problem.
- 49:31Speaker 2: And then they you know, that's the other thing. They
- 49:33Speaker 2: were doing it every week, so they were pretty good
- 49:34Speaker 2: at landing. Remember they would land and with these parachutes
- 49:39Speaker 2: on the capsule and then these flotation devices would shoot
- 49:42Speaker 2: out and then an aircraft carrier had picked them up.
- 49:45Speaker 2: So they haven't done this in years. I don't even
- 49:46Speaker 2: know if they know how to do this anymore. But
- 49:51Speaker 2: they got to have those flotation devices and they gotta
- 49:53Speaker 2: try to scoop them out of the water. Also, they
- 49:55Speaker 2: say this can be serious side effects. After being in space.
- 49:59Speaker 2: You can say, well it was only a week and
- 50:01Speaker 2: a half. People have been in that space station for months,
- 50:04Speaker 2: but there's still side effects. It can be whiplash, when
- 50:07Speaker 2: you're landing, extreme nausea from being up there. Some crew
- 50:12Speaker 2: members say they can't even look down without getting the spins.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Other side effects can be for the immune systems, sleep disturbances,
- 50:19Speaker 2: vision issues because the going through the gravity and out
- 50:23Speaker 2: of the gravity and into the gravity could cause blood
- 50:25Speaker 2: to pool in your head. Pretty serious stuff. Hey, we'll
- 50:28Speaker 2: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 50:31Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 50:35Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 50:37Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 50:40Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Now.
- 50:43Speaker 7: Now back to the Mark Simone show on.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Woar Hey, let's tex some calls. Eight hundred three two
- 50:52Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 50:55Speaker 2: Russell in White Planes. Russell, how you doing?
- 50:59Speaker 11: Hey? Mark? Fine? Thanks? You know Mark, I'd like to
- 51:02Speaker 11: know what is Mulony's purpose in resurrecting these questions.
- 51:05Speaker 2: About how well, As we explained before, I can't say,
- 51:08Speaker 2: but she was preempting something that was coming.
- 51:11Speaker 11: Right. Do you think it's because Hilaris was forced to
- 51:13Speaker 11: testify that Mlania thinks she might have to also well.
- 51:16Speaker 2: One of the things she was preempting is they are
- 51:18Speaker 2: going to try to call her to testify. Also, there's
- 51:21Speaker 2: some sleazy stuff coming out that's absolutely false and untrue.
- 51:24Speaker 11: So it was, But is it stuff like Milania might
- 51:27Speaker 11: have introduced some of these women to Epstein. Do you
- 51:30Speaker 11: think that's what it is?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that kind of stuff it's been. There's like this
- 51:33Speaker 2: slimy Michael Wolf guy who made up all kinds of
- 51:36Speaker 2: fake stories about how it was Epstein that introduced them.
- 51:39Speaker 2: None of this is true. So it was, all right,
- 51:42Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Randall in Maryland. Randall,
- 51:46Speaker 2: how you doing good? Mark?
- 51:49Speaker 8: Mark?
- 51:49Speaker 13: You am I the only one that's a little tired
- 51:51Speaker 13: of the Chelsea brothers.
- 51:54Speaker 2: No, I was never had much use for the Kelsey brothers.
- 51:57Speaker 2: I mean, Travis Kelsey quite the football star. The brother
- 52:01Speaker 2: looks like a totally useless sort of a guy. The
- 52:03Speaker 2: two of them do the worst podcast. I shouldn't say
- 52:05Speaker 2: the worst podcast. There's a lot of people in New
- 52:07Speaker 2: York doing worst podcasts. But it's pretty bad, isn't it.
- 52:10Speaker 13: Did you see did you see him at the Masters yesterday?
- 52:13Speaker 1: No?
- 52:13Speaker 2: What happened at the Masters?
- 52:16Speaker 8: Oh?
- 52:16Speaker 9: He was one of those celebrity chatties with the with
- 52:19Speaker 9: the white overalls on. That's a three parts three of course.
- 52:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm yucking it up, like all right.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Enough enough, you know, well, what it's he supposed to do?
- 52:30Speaker 2: Where would you expect to see the Kelsey brothers in
- 52:32Speaker 2: a library at the museum. Of course they're going to
- 52:34Speaker 2: be doing that. What else do they got to do?
- 52:36Speaker 2: It's like Hunter Biden, you got nothing else to do
- 52:38Speaker 2: all day. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how
- 52:41Speaker 2: you doing.
- 52:42Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark.
- 52:43Speaker 2: That's Mike.
- 52:45Speaker 9: Until since singing the Blues was a hit?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Mitchell. Ye, this terrible judge, the terrible judge in the Bronx. Yep,
- 52:56Speaker 2: your phone is cracking up your Dare this awful judge
- 52:59Speaker 2: in the Bronx who sentenced this cop who did not
- 53:03Speaker 2: deserve this sentence them to three to nine years in prison?
- 53:05Speaker 2: This awful judge in the Bronx, left wing kook of
- 53:08Speaker 2: a judge. His name is Guy Mitchell. So if you're
- 53:13Speaker 2: over a certain age, there was a famous singer in
- 53:17Speaker 2: the fifties, Guy Mitchell. He was I didn't really was
- 53:20Speaker 2: a little before my time, but he was sort of
- 53:21Speaker 2: a country and Western kind of singer. But he had
- 53:24Speaker 2: a couple of major major number one hits. One was
- 53:26Speaker 2: called Singing the Blues. But this is a different guy
- 53:29Speaker 2: Mitchell obviously, and just a horrible, horrible, horrible judge who
- 53:35Speaker 2: the same exact case, same exact charges, was a terrible
- 53:38Speaker 2: gang member. He let him off with a slap on
- 53:41Speaker 2: the wrist. But this cop he comes down on and
- 53:43Speaker 2: he said, maybe it'll send a message to other cops. Yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 2: it's the worst message you could send to other cops,
- 53:49Speaker 2: like stay in the car, don't get out, don't do anything,
- 53:52Speaker 2: don't try to stop the dangerous It's the worst message
- 53:56Speaker 2: you could send. Let's go to Jerry in Grantwich, Connecticut. Jerry,
- 53:59Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 54:01Speaker 6: I'm doing well. Thank you.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Mark.
- 54:03Speaker 6: It seems to me that the Democrats are only happy
- 54:06Speaker 6: when they have some one before president that goes and
- 54:08Speaker 6: sleep on the beach, you know, does nothing for the
- 54:11Speaker 6: American people, and they hate the American people. Who I mean,
- 54:15Speaker 6: it's disgusting what they're doing.
- 54:17Speaker 2: They say, yeah, they have done that before with you mean,
- 54:22Speaker 2: like a Joe Biden type, which is perfect perfect. You
- 54:25Speaker 2: know that happens a lot where you get to you know,
- 54:28Speaker 2: you just need a guy to pretend to be the
- 54:30Speaker 2: CEO pretend to be the president, you pretend to be
- 54:32Speaker 2: the figurehead. You just go around making speeches, bump into
- 54:36Speaker 2: the walls, and will run the country behind the scenes. Yeah,
- 54:39Speaker 2: Democrats do like that. It's something that's useful for them.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Let's go to Bill in New Jersey. Bill, how you
- 54:45Speaker 2: doing good?
- 54:47Speaker 6: Thank you? Mark A quick question, if, by some horrible chance,
- 54:51Speaker 6: our next president is a Democrat, will he be able
- 54:55Speaker 6: to reopen the borders?
- 54:57Speaker 2: Of course? What happened? You got incinerated? Sound like that
- 55:02Speaker 2: laser thing from Star Trek. What happened to him? But yes, hey,
- 55:06Speaker 2: all the phones went there. Look at that. Every line
- 55:08Speaker 2: got cut off? Was coat? Oh yeah, of course, yeah,
- 55:12Speaker 2: of course they could open the border. Yeah, absolutely, just
- 55:15Speaker 2: remove They did it under Biden. Just tell everybody and
- 55:19Speaker 2: Ice look the other way, don't do anything. Let everybody
- 55:23Speaker 2: in open the Yeah. Absolutely, you know. And that's why
- 55:27Speaker 2: people said, well, that's Trump's fault. He should have built
- 55:30Speaker 2: the wall. Well, he built a lot of wall. He
- 55:31Speaker 2: built like four hundred miles the wall. But even if
- 55:35Speaker 2: you build the wall doesn't matter because first term he
- 55:38Speaker 2: built a lot of wall. And when Biden took off,
- 55:41Speaker 2: his first thing they did was punch holes in the
- 55:44Speaker 2: wall and people trying to get in blew up the
- 55:47Speaker 2: wall that All and Biden stood by. You can see
- 55:50Speaker 2: there were massive sections of the wall where they let
- 55:53Speaker 2: it get destroyed. So yeah, it's a big, big problem.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Perfect example of that is we had crime and it
- 56:02Speaker 2: was terrible in New York, dirty crime everywhere for a
- 56:05Speaker 2: million years. Then Rudy Giuliani comes in and he cleans
- 56:09Speaker 2: up the whole city. It was unbelievable. I remember when
- 56:13Speaker 2: he ran. He said I could bring crime down twenty percent,
- 56:15Speaker 2: and he said, what, you're crazy, can't bring it down
- 56:18Speaker 2: twenty percent. Well, he brought it down eighty percent, eighty percent,
- 56:22Speaker 2: made the safest big city in America, stayed that way
- 56:26Speaker 2: for eight years. Bloomberg comes in, very smart. He says,
- 56:30Speaker 2: I'll keep Ray Kelly, I'll do exactly what Giuliani did.
- 56:33Speaker 2: We'll keep everything in play, and for another twelve years,
- 56:37Speaker 2: perfect safe crime is gone. That's twenty years of crime free.
- 56:44Speaker 2: It was perfect. But you're right, this is what can happen.
- 56:47Speaker 2: A Democrat gets elected. Bill Deblasio comes in. Next thing
- 56:51Speaker 2: you know, crime is back. Squeegee. Men are back, homeless,
- 56:54Speaker 2: people are sleeping all over the street, So that's the
- 56:57Speaker 2: only problem with the When you get a Juliani, you
- 57:01Speaker 2: can get a Democrat next and I'll just totally let
- 57:03Speaker 2: it all go to hell again. So yeah, when Trump leaves, luckily,
- 57:07Speaker 2: Democrats don't really have a great bench. Republicans it's a
- 57:10Speaker 2: pretty good bench. A lot of people like jd. Vance,
- 57:13Speaker 2: a lot of people love Marco Rubio. It's a lot
- 57:16Speaker 2: of great governors out there, really really successful governor. So
- 57:19Speaker 2: it's a strong, strong Republican bench. Hey. Yeah, when we
- 57:23Speaker 2: come back, the great comedian Jackie Martling, Jackie the joke Man. Hey,
- 57:27Speaker 2: I'm going to talk about Rodney Dangerfield. There's a Broadway
- 57:30Speaker 2: musical coming based on Rodney and the fun Rodney that
- 57:38Speaker 2: you saw on screen, it was a different Rodney behind
- 57:40Speaker 2: the scenes. Well, we get Jackie to talk about that. Oh,
- 57:43Speaker 2: maybe I'll bring up Epstein too. He knew Epstein, nothing bad,
- 57:47Speaker 2: but you knew that. Anyway, we'll get to all of
- 57:48Speaker 2: that coming up right after the news. Mark Simone here
- 57:52Speaker 2: seven to ten w R.
- 57:54Speaker 7: Mister Neworg Mark Simone.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Well, Hey, Jackie Martlin, Jackie the joke Man, the great comedian, Hey,
- 58:05Speaker 2: he's going to be at We had a lot of
- 58:07Speaker 2: listeners in Florida. He'll be at Ventarino's in Estero, Florida, Thursday,
- 58:12Speaker 2: April sixteenth, that's next next week. Hey, In May, May
- 58:16Speaker 2: twenty third, we got to talk to him about this.
- 58:17Speaker 2: He's going to be at Rodney's. That's the club that
- 58:21Speaker 2: was Dangerfields. It's still there on First Avenue in sixty
- 58:26Speaker 2: first Street. He'll be there with rich Harkaway May twenty third.
- 58:30Speaker 2: You can go to his website, Jackie Martlin go to
- 58:32Speaker 2: jokeland dot com. Jackie Martlin, How you doing right?
- 58:37Speaker 13: Doing all right? I'm going The sun is out, Bavielle
- 58:39Speaker 13: is beautiful, spring is finally here. I'm so excited.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Wow, Bayville right on the beach. You can't go in
- 58:44Speaker 2: the water yet though, right, it's too cold.
- 58:46Speaker 13: No, No, I'm not crazy. You know there's people that
- 58:48Speaker 13: go in every day, but they're out of their minds.
- 58:50Speaker 2: You know, Hey, can we talk for a minute about Dangerfields?
- 58:55Speaker 6: That was?
- 58:56Speaker 2: I love that place.
- 58:57Speaker 13: I you know, I haven't been. Last time I was there.
- 59:01Speaker 13: I was in the audience with Rodney when he recorded
- 59:05Speaker 13: his first album, No Respect. Oh yeah, And that was
- 59:09Speaker 13: a long time ago. And and I'm excited. The guy
- 59:12Speaker 13: bought it and it's the same place. And you know,
- 59:16Speaker 13: Rodney's original partner, Tony Bvaka is still live.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Yeah he lives.
- 59:21Speaker 8: Yeah he lived near you years old.
- 59:23Speaker 13: Yeah he lives in Manhasset.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Tonyvakua. He was a great guy. He was Rodney's partner.
- 59:27Speaker 2: He's the guy that really ran the club. And then
- 59:29Speaker 2: remember Bobby the matre d. Bobby Campbell, the Englishman.
- 59:33Speaker 13: Oh yeah, he was so wonderfully rude with that British
- 59:36Speaker 13: accent made it wonderful.
- 59:38Speaker 2: He was the toughest matre d but with the British
- 59:40Speaker 2: accent he was like a big muscle man. But he
- 59:41Speaker 2: was a great guy.
- 59:43Speaker 13: I mean he was. He was bursting out of that suit.
- 59:46Speaker 13: You know, you expected that suit to explode.
- 59:49Speaker 8: You know.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about Rodney for a second, because everybody's
- 59:53Speaker 2: watching on YouTube. Rodney he's so funny and what a
- 59:56Speaker 2: sweet man. The real Rodney was not the Rodney is
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: quite a copt.
- 1:00:01Speaker 13: He was. He was a really good guy. But he
- 1:00:04Speaker 13: really was the guy from the stage. He really was,
- 1:00:07Speaker 13: you know, low and depressed and angry at the world,
- 1:00:11Speaker 13: but not angry at the people he's with. Just he
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: was like, you know, he got Delta. When I was
- 1:00:16Speaker 13: with him, he was like, huh, it's too late. You know,
- 1:00:20Speaker 13: it's way too late, because he was just starting to
- 1:00:22Speaker 13: get really big. And they said, Rodney, you're fifty eight
- 1:00:25Speaker 13: years old. You didn't live in another thirty years. What
- 1:00:27Speaker 13: the hell are you talking about. Oh, it's too late,
- 1:00:29Speaker 13: it's too late, you know.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Yeah, But behind the scenes, Rodney was quite the wild guy.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: There were drugs, there were hookers, there was all There
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: was all kinds of stuff going on with Rodney.
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: Oh, yes, and I will attest to that, and that's
- 1:00:39Speaker 13: all I'll say.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: All right, there's a Broadway musical coming. I don't know
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: if it's a musical. It's a Broadway show about Rodney.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Alan's White Bell is writing it. Hopefully they will get
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: into the let's call it the sort of dark side
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: of Rodney that but overall, I had no idea.
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: I got to call Alan. I'd love to talk to
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: him about that.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: The thing is, it's the really funny stuff about Rodney
- 1:01:02Speaker 13: is off collar and a little bit lowd You know,
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: the stories we all get together and tell are not
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: the stories that the Broadway audience wants to hear. Or
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: maybe they do who knows?
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: You know, No, they're good. Hey, but Dangerfield's was a
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: great besides all the you don't have anything like that anymore.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: It wasn't just a comedy club. They had singers with
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: big name singers would appear, They had a trio, a band.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: It was elegant. You don't see that anymore, do you.
- 1:01:26Speaker 13: Yeah, he was all about show business, you know, like
- 1:01:28Speaker 13: you know, it was like a vaudeville club practically, you know, yeah,
- 1:01:32Speaker 13: who knows? All right, I'm telling some jokes here. So
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: a guy comes home from his job at the CIA
- 1:01:37Speaker 13: and says to his wife and son, come on in
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: the kitchen. I want to show you what we've been
- 1:01:41Speaker 13: working on. And they walk in the kitchen and he says,
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: look at this. This is a lie detector robot. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 13: mean to demonstrate. He says to his son, what'd you
- 1:01:49Speaker 13: do this afternoon? The kid says, I did my homework,
- 1:01:52Speaker 13: and the lie detector robot slaps the kid. The kid says,
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: all right, all right, I was it ed. He's watching
- 1:01:58Speaker 13: a movie. Father says what kind of movie? Uh? Star Wars,
- 1:02:03Speaker 13: and the robot slaps the kid again. The kid says,
- 1:02:06Speaker 13: all right, all right, we watch some porn. Father says porn.
- 1:02:11Speaker 13: When I was your age, I didn't even know what
- 1:02:13Speaker 13: porn was. And the robot slaps him, and then the
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: wife says, right, he's your son, all right, and the
- 1:02:20Speaker 13: robot slaps the wife.
- 1:02:26Speaker 11: That is.
- 1:02:27Speaker 13: And nowadays they're on the verge of having robots that
- 1:02:30Speaker 13: do all that stuff. So it's that joke is going
- 1:02:33Speaker 13: to be back in the forefront.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: You know absolutely, hey, question number two, Jeffrey Epstein, you
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: knew the guy, and the reason you knew the guy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Like a lot of wealthy guys, he was a really
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: starstruck you know, chasing after any celebrity he could, right.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: He loved to hang out with comedians.
- 1:02:48Speaker 13: I didn't know him. I just know he loved jokes
- 1:02:51Speaker 13: and he loved comics. And I went and had dinner
- 1:02:53Speaker 13: with Room a couple of times only on the strength
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: of jokes and none.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: To do with women.
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: No, I know, do with celebrity or anything.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Nothing bad. But he chased after comedians, TV people just
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: try to get him over for his dinner parties.
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: You know everybody, everybody wants to be in show business.
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: I don't have to tell you that.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: You know that, And this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: Is enough of this, So guys in bed with the girl.
- 1:03:17Speaker 13: He says, you're flat and you're tight. She says, get
- 1:03:19Speaker 13: off my back.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Wait on all right.
- 1:03:24Speaker 13: So a general general's about to go into battle and
- 1:03:27Speaker 13: he can't decide well uniform to wear from. One of
- 1:03:30Speaker 13: his aides says, well, General, whenever Napoleon was about to
- 1:03:33Speaker 13: go into battle, he'd put on a red uniform. That way,
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: if he got wounded his men, his men wouldn't be
- 1:03:39Speaker 13: able to see the blood and they wouldn't panic. And
- 1:03:42Speaker 13: the general says, very good, Stakowski, get me my brown uniform.
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: A guy calls home and he says, honey, honey, I
- 1:03:52Speaker 13: just won the lottery. Start packing. She says, should I
- 1:03:56Speaker 13: pack for the beach or it goes skiing? He says,
- 1:03:59Speaker 13: I I don't hear where you go, Just get out.
- 1:04:05Speaker 13: So two guys are sitting at a bar when the
- 1:04:07Speaker 13: first guy pulls down his zipper and starts peeing into
- 1:04:09Speaker 13: a beer bottle. The second guy says, what are you doing?
- 1:04:13Speaker 13: He says, this stuff is so good, I'm gonna drink
- 1:04:16Speaker 13: it again. He tell the family's sitting at the dinner
- 1:04:23Speaker 13: table when the wife says to her father, Pop, Pop,
- 1:04:27Speaker 13: do you want to be buried or cremated. He says,
- 1:04:31Speaker 13: surprise me. I love that. All right, here's a bad one.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Mark, those weren't bad. Okay, here's a bad one.
- 1:04:40Speaker 13: What's the difference between making love to a girl with
- 1:04:43Speaker 13: arms and making love to a girl without arms?
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Oh my god, yourself.
- 1:04:51Speaker 13: If you're making love to a girl without arms and
- 1:04:54Speaker 13: it pops out, you have to put it back here.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Wait, this is a family show.
- 1:04:59Speaker 13: Here, nobody could fare. If you can follow that, you're fine.
- 1:05:04Speaker 13: So a drunk. A drunk stumbles into confessional. Priest hears
- 1:05:07Speaker 13: them in, but they doesn't hear anything. So the priest
- 1:05:11Speaker 13: bangs on the wall. The drunk says, forget it, buddy,
- 1:05:15Speaker 13: there's no paper in this one either.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Hey, let me ask you a question. A million years ago,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: you watched Don Rickles. You can make ethnic jokes, you
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: could make racial joke, you could make dirty Uh. The
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: world has changed, but not. I mean, you kind of
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: still do any kind of joke, right, Yeah, you know, but.
- 1:05:34Speaker 13: I've never been horribly offensive, you know, I total line
- 1:05:38Speaker 13: and stomp it on it a little bit, you know,
- 1:05:41Speaker 13: But it's if you're not. People could tell when you're
- 1:05:45Speaker 13: being offensive and when you're being mean. If anybody sees
- 1:05:49Speaker 13: me on stage and thinks being mean, they have to
- 1:05:52Speaker 13: be out of their minds, because all I'm trying to
- 1:05:54Speaker 13: do is make people laugh.
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: And they know that.
- 1:05:56Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Rickles used to say that they could see I'm a
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: nice guy. They could see I don't mean, just you know, a.
- 1:06:02Speaker 13: Little schlump, you know, all right. So a woman calls
- 1:06:06Speaker 13: dirty Johnny's mother and says, I caught your son playing
- 1:06:09Speaker 13: doctor and nurse with my eight year old daughter. Johnny's
- 1:06:13Speaker 13: mother says, well, they're bound to be curious about sex
- 1:06:17Speaker 13: at their age. The girl's mother says, curious about sex?
- 1:06:21Speaker 13: He took her appendix out. I don't know, and I
- 1:06:28Speaker 13: just love this. So a girl is sitting at the
- 1:06:31Speaker 13: bar drinking next to a blonde and she says to
- 1:06:35Speaker 13: the blonde, I slept with a Brazilian last night. The
- 1:06:39Speaker 13: blonde says, who you must be so sore? How many
- 1:06:43Speaker 13: is the Brazilian? Hey? Hello, the boys at Bayville Seafood.
- 1:06:51Speaker 13: They are so excited. The whole world is buying shrimp
- 1:06:54Speaker 13: and fish and alibit and lobster. A Bayvielle just comes alive.
- 1:06:58Speaker 13: It's almost like when the flowers Loom SODA's Babel, you know.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Yeah, Babel's a beautiful town that's right on the beach.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: It's all beach. It's beautiful. It's right next to what's
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: the next next to Locust Valley and uh.
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: It's the place time for god. You know, it's so
- 1:07:14Speaker 13: funny because everybody around here that the amount of money
- 1:07:18Speaker 13: is just frightening. I've been watching the Rupert Murdoch thing,
- 1:07:21Speaker 13: you know, and he he actually bought the house that
- 1:07:24Speaker 13: my brother's high school girlfriend lived in way back in
- 1:07:27Speaker 13: high school on Center Island Road. And it was funny
- 1:07:30Speaker 13: because at the time Rupert Murdoch was married to this
- 1:07:33Speaker 13: Asian woman named Wendy, and the famous composer that did
- 1:07:40Speaker 13: the James Bond stuff.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: He lived there at John John Barry.
- 1:07:44Speaker 13: John Barry, and he was married to a young Asian
- 1:07:47Speaker 13: and Billy Joel was married to like a twenty two
- 1:07:50Speaker 13: year old girl. And I knew a guy that used
- 1:07:52Speaker 13: to clean John Barry's pool and he said, those three
- 1:07:55Speaker 13: women would sit around the pool and you know, drink
- 1:07:58Speaker 13: and laugh and I would love to be a flyer
- 1:08:02Speaker 13: in the war for that conversation. You know, you know,
- 1:08:05Speaker 13: how did you nab your billionaire you know.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Uh yeah, no, Baby Universe lives in Bayville. The great
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: songwriter Jimmy Webb lives in Bayville.
- 1:08:13Speaker 13: Yeah yeah, you know. I was just at a studio
- 1:08:15Speaker 13: the other day. My ex wife is making an album.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:08:18Speaker 13: She actually doing one of my songs. Oh, and the
- 1:08:21Speaker 13: guy said, oh, Jimmy's coming in tomorrow.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: You know. Yeah.
- 1:08:24Speaker 13: He's a local yogl. Everybody loves him, you know, and
- 1:08:27Speaker 13: he's a real good character.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: He's married to Laura Savini, a great PBS host.
