- 0:42Speaker 2: and welcome back to another episode of Kicking It with Kiki, Life,
- 0:45Speaker 2: love and all that other ship. I am your host,
- 0:47Speaker 2: Kiki chanel Uh. We are with a special guest today,
- 0:52Speaker 2: and you guys know how I like to do. I
- 0:55Speaker 2: like to give my guests the opportunity to introduce themselves,
- 0:58Speaker 2: so I'm gonna turn it over to her. Hi, Jessica,
- 1:00Speaker 2: thank you for coming to kickling me today.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Hi, thank you so much for having me on. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: go buy Jessica Maria. You can call me either or
- 1:08Speaker 1: whichever one. Well. I like to do a lot of
- 1:12Speaker 1: different things in this world. You know, I may not
- 1:16Speaker 1: be single, but I definitely am bilingual. And I may
- 1:18Speaker 1: not look like it, but I am a multifaceted lady.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I also go buy a healer. An entrepreneur and native
- 1:28Speaker 1: Spanish speaker, multi linguist lady goofy, weirdo, pure heart, you know,
- 1:35Speaker 1: a little rough on the edges. Do my best in
- 1:38Speaker 1: this world. But I've been through some stuff. I've seen
- 1:40Speaker 1: a lot of things and again been through some stuff,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and I'm just grateful to have grown and overcome the
- 1:48Speaker 1: things that I have, not only survive, but thrive from
- 1:51Speaker 1: everything then I've experienced in this world. And like I
- 1:56Speaker 1: was saying, somebodys are easier than others, and there is
- 1:59Speaker 1: just a different way to experience this life. Life doesn't
- 2:02Speaker 1: have to be this hard, and it is supposed to
- 2:04Speaker 1: be a beautiful experience. I would love it if more women,
- 2:07Speaker 1: especially women, would feel happier and more joyous and safer
- 2:13Speaker 1: and free. You know, that's a you know, I'm not
- 2:18Speaker 1: immune to the fears of what humans can do right,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and it's you know, something easier said than done. But
- 2:29Speaker 1: it's my profound belief that if more women were to
- 2:33Speaker 1: feel more secure, confidence, a deeper relationship with the higher
- 2:38Speaker 1: power of whatever their choice is, and we're to expand
- 2:43Speaker 1: and grow a business through that where they're helping other people,
- 2:45Speaker 1: we would have more peace on her those a very
- 2:48Speaker 1: long introduction of my apologies.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Oh you're fine, You're fine, look I love it. I
- 2:55Speaker 2: love it. So this semi retire are in? Are you
- 2:58Speaker 2: semi retired?
- 3:01Speaker 1: The retirement retirement is a mindset. It's I'm retired, you know.
- 3:07Speaker 1: God is my source of income. People are like, how
- 3:10Speaker 1: do you make money? I'm why don't you mind your
- 3:11Speaker 1: damn business? For one thing, it's so many silly questions
- 3:16Speaker 1: that people ask. And humans are curious, and that's by nature,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but society has programmed us to be curious in the
- 3:24Speaker 1: dumbest ways and no insult to anyone whatsoever. But there's
- 3:29Speaker 1: a lot more interesting ways.
- 3:32Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:32Speaker 1: It's like I have a thing about asking questions, and
- 3:34Speaker 1: I over the years, I do a lot less question asking,
- 3:39Speaker 1: but I just allow spirit, I think of something to
- 3:41Speaker 1: my mind, and literally what I want to know is
- 3:44Speaker 1: told to me by a person of whatever kind. But
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you know, I go with the flow in terms
- 3:50Speaker 1: of because everyone is different, we can't always We can
- 3:53Speaker 1: be ourselves as much as possible, but we need to
- 3:57Speaker 1: be able to be a shape shift in different situations
- 4:02Speaker 1: because certain behaviors or certain ways that we act, you know,
- 4:09Speaker 1: could possibly give us a different result. But it always
- 4:11Speaker 1: comes down to whether we care or not and how much.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We hold onto that for self worth. But no, it's
- 4:18Speaker 1: being retired as a mindset. It's not about, oh, I
- 4:21Speaker 1: can't wait to retire. It's like thirty five years, that's
- 4:24Speaker 1: when you'll see in the back of my head, that's
- 4:26Speaker 1: the last time you'll see it. It's not like that.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know, everyone can retire today. It's not about quitting
- 4:34Speaker 1: your job. And I don't think anyone should ever stop working.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I think everyone should work until they die. We were
- 4:39Speaker 1: given physical bodies. We're supposed to use these bodies, and
- 4:42Speaker 1: it doesn't always mean in exchange for money, but in
- 4:45Speaker 1: exchange of energy and doing what we are passionate about
- 4:48Speaker 1: and loving and love. You know, I love being a
- 4:51Speaker 1: nurse and I am very skilled at it in terms
- 4:55Speaker 1: of just giving really good quality, genuine care to people.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know, it's just it's always a high pressured environment
- 5:05Speaker 1: with people and doctors and other nurses that don't even
- 5:09Speaker 1: know how to take care of their own bodies or
- 5:11Speaker 1: their own minds or their own hearts or you know.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That doesn't go for every single person, but it's just
- 5:17Speaker 1: there's just a lot of things that are unnatural and
- 5:19Speaker 1: I just you know, I've always I support trauma medicine
- 5:22Speaker 1: one hundred percent, but there's a lot Ninety percent of
- 5:25Speaker 1: our illnesses are caused by stress, and that's a scientific proof.
- 5:29Speaker 1: There's a lot of things that we could do to
- 5:32Speaker 1: keep ourselves healthy and strong now without medication, without going
- 5:38Speaker 1: to the hospital. But there's possibilities. And I'm not suggesting
- 5:40Speaker 1: for anyone to stop doing whatever they're doing with their doctor.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Don't stop doing anything less you have your doctor's approval,
- 5:46Speaker 1: you know, but listen to your own body and really
- 5:49Speaker 1: just I think going forward with a metaphysical and a
- 5:53Speaker 1: holistic approach to living this life is beneficial to a
- 5:58Speaker 1: lot of humans. You know, our ancestors they did alright
- 6:02Speaker 1: without you know, they had healers, but it was more holistic.
- 6:05Speaker 1: There's Chinese medicine, Native American medicine, and African medicine that
- 6:09Speaker 1: has been around for thousands of years. I've even cured
- 6:12Speaker 1: several things within myself with African medicines and it's not
- 6:17Speaker 1: these modern drugs and antibiotics.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Side.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we have a lot of our lifespans because of
- 6:23Speaker 1: modern medacey of Western medicine, but it's like, is our
- 6:28Speaker 1: spirit Okay, that's.
- 6:29Speaker 2: The biggest question. It's your spirit. Okay, you are a
- 6:34Speaker 2: holistic life coach. How did you get into that? I
- 6:38Speaker 2: can tell that you're very passionate about it. I don't
- 6:40Speaker 2: like taking medication unless I just have to. I'll do
- 6:43Speaker 2: something natural in a minute. I used a lot. I
- 6:46Speaker 2: don't eat meat. I try to live the best way
- 6:50Speaker 2: that I can for the body that I have, because
- 6:51Speaker 2: we only have one body. So how did you tap
- 6:54Speaker 2: into become a holistic life coach?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to just applaud you for what you
- 6:59Speaker 1: just so that's awesome. I love you, and I always
- 7:01Speaker 1: I don't want to come off as a stringent hippie
- 7:06Speaker 1: where I'm just like, only take through, don't take you know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: because you know, we were in a modern time where
- 7:11Speaker 1: there is you know, if you get chemydia, take the antibiotics.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Don't take a grass. Okay, don't take grass. Don't eat grass,
- 7:19Speaker 1: take a damn antibiotic. You know, we had we gotta do.
- 7:23Speaker 1: We still have to live in balance with the modern
- 7:25Speaker 1: time that we're in. So take the stuff that you
- 7:26Speaker 1: got to do. But I applaud you for for doing
- 7:29Speaker 1: the best that you can to to be as natural
- 7:31Speaker 1: as possible. And that's beautiful. Well, I I've had a
- 7:36Speaker 1: lot of emotional turmoil and issues my whole life since
- 7:40Speaker 1: I was a little girl, and you know, life doesn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: have to be that way, but that was just that's
- 7:46Speaker 1: my life experience that I've had. And I've had a
- 7:47Speaker 1: lot of internal turmoil for you know, multiple different things
- 7:53Speaker 1: or reasons, but I had I got coaching from a
- 7:58Speaker 1: young woman for a year, and it definitely transformed my life.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And even though I still I still experience anxiety, I
- 8:09Speaker 1: still experience fear, and I still channel things that are
- 8:15Speaker 1: outside of my preferences, you know, like but we're in
- 8:18Speaker 1: a pretty wild world, so it's like protecting your energy.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You know.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'm not a Buddhist. I'm not. I mean, I don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm not in a monastery. Word just be easy to
- 8:28Speaker 1: meditate all day right in the modern world. So but
- 8:33Speaker 1: it was something that really transformed my life. It helped
- 8:36Speaker 1: me see the world in a different way, and not
- 8:39Speaker 1: the way that I saw it, which was pretty stringent
- 8:43Speaker 1: and closed minded and very like you have to do
- 8:46Speaker 1: these things, which is a patriarchal and insecure, masculine way
- 8:50Speaker 1: to viewing life. And it just changed my perspective and
- 8:55Speaker 1: I wanted to be able to offer that to other
- 8:58Speaker 1: humans as well. And I used to work with men
- 9:00Speaker 1: and women, but now I just exclusively work with women.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't work with straight men. I will work with
- 9:06Speaker 1: that if someone identifies as a lady or you know,
- 9:09Speaker 1: feminine identifying totally, but a straight man no, because they
- 9:14Speaker 1: always do something or fall in love with me, and
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm just like, you're no, you're confused, right, Like, I know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I'm extremely beautiful and sweet hot, I'm tempting, you know,
- 9:26Speaker 1: the Pana express flavor. I don't know what is it called,
- 9:28Speaker 1: whatever it is, but it's just like it's it's like, come.
- 9:31Speaker 3: On, rights, like, don't mess the experience up by being cy.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I know, like I know women are it's I don't.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I mean, if I was a man, I would just
- 9:45Speaker 1: be an complete adoration and just being available to serve
- 9:49Speaker 1: women all the time. It's like we're just walking angels.
- 9:54Speaker 1: A little crazy sometimes, you know, but how can we
- 9:57Speaker 1: not be in this world?
- 9:59Speaker 2: Right right?
- 10:01Speaker 1: It's like it's just natural right now?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely So. One of the things that I want
- 10:08Speaker 2: to talk about is turning your pain into purpose as
- 10:11Speaker 2: the topic, and that in itself is a great and
- 10:17Speaker 2: broad topic. The spectrum is high. So I think that
- 10:21Speaker 2: because of you wearing the different hats that you wear.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Let's talk about emotional regulation a little bit, and you
- 10:28Speaker 2: kind of explain to the audience what that is and
- 10:33Speaker 2: you your viewpoint on emotional regulation.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So this is a hard one and this is something
- 10:42Speaker 1: that took me years to understand, is that we are
- 10:46Speaker 1: all individually responsible and in control of the way that
- 10:53Speaker 1: we feel. No matter what happens outside. We are the
- 10:59Speaker 1: ones that can decide how we feel, even though we
- 11:05Speaker 1: are all most humans, you know, except for people that
- 11:09Speaker 1: are born into an Amazon tribe or an excluded African
- 11:12Speaker 1: tribe or an excluded native tribe that has no contact
- 11:16Speaker 1: with society. That's a different kind of society that I
- 11:19Speaker 1: do not know what or very much about. But there's
- 11:21Speaker 1: a lot more harmony within those tribes. When we're brought
- 11:25Speaker 1: up in the world the way it is now in
- 11:28Speaker 1: the modern time, with technology and with all of these
- 11:30Speaker 1: laws and identifications and standards and like, you have to
- 11:36Speaker 1: be this way, you have to act this certain way,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you have to have this certain behavior. Of course, we're
- 11:40Speaker 1: going to be reactive to what's outside of us, and
- 11:43Speaker 1: there are people in this world that violate us and
- 11:47Speaker 1: that try to tear us down with their words. And
- 11:50Speaker 1: sometimes it's a lot easier to handle than others. But
- 11:54Speaker 1: there are you know, there's a lot of For too
- 12:00Speaker 1: long of time on earth, there has been too much
- 12:04Speaker 1: hate between human beings and it's easier said than done.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And I'm not saying I still get reactive, but it
- 12:12Speaker 1: has a purpose now. It is more for human life
- 12:16Speaker 1: of quality or quality of life I mean.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Emotional regulation takes multiple different things. It's not that complicated,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but it's a responsibility. We are all responsible for the
- 12:32Speaker 1: way that we feel. And I'm not saying to be
- 12:36Speaker 1: hateful or to just say whatever you want, because words
- 12:39Speaker 1: can hurt. That's the way we are right now, but
- 12:42Speaker 1: we don't have to take it personal. Is just to
- 12:47Speaker 1: be kind to each other in respect and accept our
- 12:50Speaker 1: differences instead of trying to control the way we all are.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And also stop giving any kind of social support to
- 12:59Speaker 1: people that do commit heinous crimes to their human beings,
- 13:03Speaker 1: like rapists and child molesters, and people that are violent
- 13:06Speaker 1: and violently murderous or do terrible things to other human
- 13:10Speaker 1: beings and torture other people. You know this, I always
- 13:15Speaker 1: talk about trauma and really difficult things like that. I
- 13:20Speaker 1: personally experienced a lot of things. I've seen a lot
- 13:22Speaker 1: of things as a nurse and as a human being,
- 13:25Speaker 1: and I just have a strange connection with people who
- 13:31Speaker 1: have been enslaved or that have been trafficked and that
- 13:35Speaker 1: are you know, have experienced a lot of trauma, which
- 13:39Speaker 1: I don't suggest everyone to experience. It's very rough. It's
- 13:42Speaker 1: really humans are crazy. Humans can be rough, and we
- 13:47Speaker 1: need to be kinder to each other and be more
- 13:50Speaker 1: loving instead of all these approaches. But since we're it
- 13:57Speaker 1: starts from being a baby. You know, people do heinous
- 14:00Speaker 1: things because you know, people have mental illnesses and other things,
- 14:04Speaker 1: but that is out of harmony of our true nature,
- 14:08Speaker 1: and it is because of all of these structures and
- 14:11Speaker 1: this patriarchal approach to control our natural behavior, and our
- 14:16Speaker 1: natural behavior as human beings is kind. We do hunt,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and we do you know, protect ourselves. We're able to
- 14:24Speaker 1: do that, we're biologically instilled installed to do that, but
- 14:27Speaker 1: we're just programmed to be outside of the present moment
- 14:30Speaker 1: and to be against each other. And it doesn't have
- 14:32Speaker 1: to be like that, right. An emotional regulation comes through
- 14:37Speaker 1: a lot of self reflection, a lot of self love,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and a lot of very deep connection with the higher power,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and an unconditional compassion for oneself and for other people.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And this is, like I said, it's easier said than done.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I don't do this. I'm working towards mastery of this.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I don't do this all the time. I don't always
- 15:01Speaker 1: have this compassion. I don't always have this, you know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: understanding or letting things go. It's easier to say it.
- 15:10Speaker 1: It's easier to have a distance between those kind of
- 15:12Speaker 1: things instead of actually having it in your face. But
- 15:16Speaker 1: it takes a lot of self reflection, meditation, a desire
- 15:21Speaker 1: to want to feel good. Because as children, we were
- 15:24Speaker 1: a lot better at regulating our emotions. We had temper
- 15:27Speaker 1: tantrums when we wanted it, and they ended quickly. Right,
- 15:32Speaker 1: most children, not all children, but most children in this
- 15:37Speaker 1: world experience joy more than anything else. And the children
- 15:42Speaker 1: that do are do not. It's because of the damn
- 15:45Speaker 1: stupid human beings that are taking care of them. Excuse
- 15:48Speaker 1: my words, God, but it's just like just tearing down
- 15:52Speaker 1: a child's spirit by using them and doing terrible things
- 15:55Speaker 1: to them is the way to break down a human
- 15:57Speaker 1: being and do the way to make them violent, the
- 16:00Speaker 1: way to make them be just not use their life
- 16:03Speaker 1: for us that they have right the center of this earth.
- 16:07Speaker 1: This is literally something I was just reading right now.
- 16:11Speaker 1: We cannot get to the center of the earth, which
- 16:13Speaker 1: is fine. It's freaking hot as the sun. It's so hot.
- 16:16Speaker 1: We don't have the technology and I don't want to
- 16:18Speaker 1: get to the center of the earth. But the center
- 16:20Speaker 1: of the earth has this core that is as hot
- 16:23Speaker 1: as our sun. And I was thinking that it's just
- 16:27Speaker 1: like every single person, every single individual person of this earth.
- 16:30Speaker 1: We have a core inside of us that is like
- 16:34Speaker 1: the sun, and it's like a match, and there has
- 16:37Speaker 1: to be the right environment, the right temperature, the right dryness,
- 16:44Speaker 1: because you can't light a wet match. It has to
- 16:47Speaker 1: be in the right environment. There can't be any too
- 16:49Speaker 1: much wind. You have to have coverage to light that fire.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And we all have a fire within us to expand on.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And this life experience as a human being is a
- 17:04Speaker 1: very it's something that we should cherish and it's a
- 17:08Speaker 1: beautiful experience. And we're supposed to be happy. We're supposed
- 17:11Speaker 1: to be we're supposed to get along with as many
- 17:14Speaker 1: people as possible, We're supposed to be friends with each other,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and we're supposed to be creating. We're supposed to be
- 17:19Speaker 1: creating art. We're supposed to be creating dance and music,
- 17:22Speaker 1: and we're supposed to be living harmoniously with nature. These
- 17:27Speaker 1: are all supposed to be You know, I don't. We're
- 17:30Speaker 1: in a modern time. We are the most spoiled ever,
- 17:35Speaker 1: and we are so misguided. We are focused on the
- 17:38Speaker 1: wrong things. We have a lot of political and economic
- 17:40Speaker 1: stuff going on, but we're all focused on the wrong things.
- 17:43Speaker 1: We do not have very much time left on this
- 17:45Speaker 1: earth safely as human beings the next two generations, in
- 17:50Speaker 1: two generations, we will experience extreme catatrophic tsunamis, weather changes,
- 17:56Speaker 1: unsurvivable droughts, food shortages. And it's because of our modern life.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And the biggest thing about our modern time is that
- 18:05Speaker 1: we are so spoiled. We have every so many things
- 18:08Speaker 1: that we want. We live better than kings and queens,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and we are not happy. We should be happy, We
- 18:14Speaker 1: should be the happiest ever. Our ancestors worked so hard
- 18:19Speaker 1: and went through so many things. There's been so many
- 18:21Speaker 1: betrayals through humanity to get to this technology that we're
- 18:25Speaker 1: at and we're miserable.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Why do you believe that is though? Why do you
- 18:30Speaker 2: believe that we're so unhappy.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Because we're so inaccurately focused on the outside. There is
- 18:41Speaker 1: and I'm speaking of this from having experienced the inside
- 18:45Speaker 1: of myself in terms of the non physical, which is
- 18:48Speaker 1: where God lies within all of us. God is everywhere
- 18:52Speaker 1: and everything. But it's not something that we can just
- 18:54Speaker 1: be like, oh, that's God right there. That it's a
- 18:58Speaker 1: non physical thing that I have experience a few short
- 19:01Speaker 1: times and it's amazing and it's beautiful, and I'm just
- 19:07Speaker 1: so grateful for the things that I've learned, and I've
- 19:09Speaker 1: learned from other people who are a lot wiser than me.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And I'm still on that journey of learning and growing
- 19:14Speaker 1: and understanding and expanding in life. You know, I'm this little,
- 19:18Speaker 1: tiny human being that has that I get crumbled easily
- 19:21Speaker 1: still by certain things. But we're so unhappy because we're
- 19:27Speaker 1: holding so many people and things responsible for the way
- 19:30Speaker 1: that we feel.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Wow. So, in your opinion, how do you believe that mind,
- 19:37Speaker 2: body and spirit interconnection goes hand in hand with transform
- 19:43Speaker 2: you know, transforming your pain into purpose, like turning your
- 19:46Speaker 2: pain into purpose? How do you believe that that goes
- 19:49Speaker 2: hand in hand.
- 19:50Speaker 1: One thing I forgot to say is that we also
- 19:54Speaker 1: don't respect each other, not me. There's of course I
- 20:00Speaker 1: can be disrespectful, but it's not always an initiation that
- 20:03Speaker 1: I'm starting. It's always retaliation. So I do my best.
- 20:10Speaker 2: That's all you can do.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Well, like I said, I'm a little rough around the edges,
- 20:14Speaker 1: and I can get into a little trouble sometimes and
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm doing my best.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Doing your best.
- 20:22Speaker 1: In terms of the mind, you said mind, body and
- 20:26Speaker 1: spirit connection, how integrating all of those can lead us
- 20:30Speaker 1: from pain to power. Well, the thing is is that
- 20:35Speaker 1: I have pain inside of myself from things from a
- 20:41Speaker 1: long time ago, and so do billions of people in
- 20:45Speaker 1: this world. And the truth is is that we can
- 20:49Speaker 1: all let it go right now, especially if we're not
- 20:58Speaker 1: being tortured. It's easier said than done, you know. But
- 21:05Speaker 1: there's certain situations where it makes it a lot harder.
- 21:10Speaker 1: And that is when we're in physical pain, or we're
- 21:12Speaker 1: being mistreated, or we're being torn down by another person. Right,
- 21:17Speaker 1: those are situations where it's harder. That's why I get
- 21:20Speaker 1: so I just get so irritated and annoyed with people complaining,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and I'm like, your body is intact, like you can walk,
- 21:29Speaker 1: like your organs aren't sticking out, like no one is
- 21:33Speaker 1: violating you right now. And it's just like too many
- 21:36Speaker 1: people are focused on the problem instead of a solution,
- 21:40Speaker 1: instead of reflecting on how they energetically and emotionally got
- 21:45Speaker 1: into that experience in that situation, and making that situation
- 21:48Speaker 1: or experience their owner instead of them gaining wisdom and
- 21:55Speaker 1: a more appropriate org instead of owner is victim being
- 21:58Speaker 1: a victim by it. But I'm just I'm getting all heated,
- 22:02Speaker 1: a little bit heated. I feel passionate about this, and
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm just I'm always fearful, because not always fearful, but
- 22:08Speaker 1: I'm i I know that it's some things that I
- 22:12Speaker 1: say can be hard for people to hear. And I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: always afraid I'm gonna hurt someone with my words, because
- 22:19Speaker 1: I know I will. But it's my intention, right.
- 22:22Speaker 2: That's what I was about to say, as long as
- 22:24Speaker 2: it's not your intention. Sometimes people need to hear those
- 22:27Speaker 2: things because life is not always going to be sunshine
- 22:30Speaker 2: and rainbows, but it's how you perceive it, yeah from
- 22:37Speaker 2: and grow that would determine how you progress. Our regress.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I told you. I'm multi facet. I do
- 22:45Speaker 1: lots of different things. One thing I like to do
- 22:47Speaker 1: is I love making people laugh.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I'm lied and I love to laugh, So that works.
- 22:51Speaker 2: That works. But I love I love the fact that
- 22:55Speaker 2: you're into like faith based healing. Let's talk about that,
- 22:58Speaker 2: the face, faith based face, faith based healing, because healing
- 23:03Speaker 2: is essential.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I went through my own personal healing journey like five
- 23:08Speaker 2: six years ago, and it transformed my life because you
- 23:12Speaker 2: know when you go through like grief, because we had
- 23:15Speaker 2: a loss in twenty twenty and then twenty twenty, the
- 23:17Speaker 2: world was just at a standstill with COVID and things
- 23:20Speaker 2: like that. But it wasn't until I had to let
- 23:24Speaker 2: go of other people's pain and focus on myself that
- 23:28Speaker 2: I began to transform because I had to go back
- 23:31Speaker 2: to the inner child, little Kiki and say I got you,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I'm protecting you. So that is not an easy thing.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It was not easy at all. But because of my
- 23:42Speaker 2: faith and my trust and belief in God, I knew
- 23:45Speaker 2: that I was going to overcome it because I just
- 23:48Speaker 2: I felt like He was right alone with me every
- 23:51Speaker 2: stepping away. Yeah, so let's let's talk about faith based healing,
- 23:56Speaker 2: Like you know, how did that, how did you get
- 23:58Speaker 2: into that?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Well, well, that's so beautiful. I'm so happy for you
- 24:02Speaker 1: that you've gone through that journey and you know, see
- 24:05Speaker 1: the light on the other side of it and have
- 24:06Speaker 1: grown from it. So another thing I applaud you for.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And you know, we all have different kinds of wisdoms
- 24:14Speaker 1: that we can share with each other, but our relationship
- 24:21Speaker 1: with a higher power, and it doesn't always have to
- 24:24Speaker 1: be religious, and there's nothing wrong with it being religious.
- 24:30Speaker 1: It's whatever someone feels most aligned with, and it's it's
- 24:37Speaker 1: it's hard, it's hard to put in a word sometimes
- 24:41Speaker 1: because it's an unspoken thing, you know, like when someone
- 24:45Speaker 1: passes away. It's something that we're all going to do.
- 24:49Speaker 1: We're going to transition from our physical body to a
- 24:52Speaker 1: different forum, right and it's not physical, and that's where
- 24:58Speaker 1: God lies. God's non physical but physical at the same time,
- 25:06Speaker 1: and there is We have this physical world, and we've
- 25:13Speaker 1: been given physical bodies to use, and we are to
- 25:18Speaker 1: experience work or to experience loss and gaining and additions
- 25:29Speaker 1: and subtractions. Before we became a human into our physical bodies,
- 25:36Speaker 1: we were in this spirit world and then we chose
- 25:40Speaker 1: to come into our bodies, and then we leave our
- 25:43Speaker 1: bodies and we go back to the spirit world. And
- 25:47Speaker 1: I think it's very important that we all change our
- 25:50Speaker 1: perspective and not just change, but grow it to a
- 25:55Speaker 1: different kind of grace. That is, doesn't see transitions to
- 26:01Speaker 1: the back to the spirit world as a loss, because
- 26:06Speaker 1: it's a natural thing. We're in a world with physical
- 26:09Speaker 1: bodies and gravity and trees falling, and lions and tigers
- 26:14Speaker 1: and hippos and spiders and all kinds of freaky things
- 26:19Speaker 1: out here and crazy human beings, so we're going to
- 26:21Speaker 1: have things happen to our bodies. Doesn't happen to everyone,
- 26:26Speaker 1: but it's important to have that perspective shift that when
- 26:32Speaker 1: something happens, that it's okay and we don't have to grief.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Is it's an unspoken thing that can't be touched in
- 26:42Speaker 1: terms of there's nothing that you can grasp to fix it, right,
- 26:47Speaker 1: you know, And that's what where God is or God
- 26:51Speaker 1: lies where it's just like this constant, unspoken, unseen, per se,
- 26:56Speaker 1: unheard presence along with spirits that are here with us
- 27:04Speaker 1: all the time. And I I was doing a PhD
- 27:08Speaker 1: in metaphysics I quit because my dog she got pregnant
- 27:11Speaker 1: and she had eleven puppies, so I'm focusing on that.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I have five left. Anyone's interested, gave me a call.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I'm in Arizona. They're really cute. Anyways. I've done studies
- 27:23Speaker 1: about the spirit world and that spirits, and there's different
- 27:34Speaker 1: I don't want to say higher Geese, but there's different
- 27:37Speaker 1: things about the spirit world. When we're sad and we're
- 27:42Speaker 1: angry and we're in pain and we're grieving, the spirits
- 27:46Speaker 1: can't get through to us, and it doesn't make any sense.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It kind of pisses me off because I'm like, you
- 27:52Speaker 1: don't know what it's like, and we don't know what
- 27:56Speaker 1: it's like to be We don't remember what it's like
- 27:58Speaker 1: to be a spirit because there's nothing but joy and
- 28:00Speaker 1: bliss up there. You know, when you're joyful and blissful,
- 28:03Speaker 1: do you want to be around someone who's just like
- 28:05Speaker 1: a victim and just like, oh my god, life is terrible.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You don't know that. That's a damn spiritual So damn
- 28:13Speaker 1: those spirits. I love them. Don't take that. Okay, my god,
- 28:17Speaker 1: don't that wasn't anything.
- 28:18Speaker 2: It's just.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm shure to be careful about my what I feel
- 28:22Speaker 1: and think and say, because I don't I don't know.
- 28:29Speaker 1: But when we have this sense of pain and betrayal
- 28:35Speaker 1: and loss, we can't feel Spirit is with us. Because
- 28:44Speaker 1: Spirit is with us, which is Source also known as
- 28:47Speaker 1: God or also known as a higher Power, is always
- 28:52Speaker 1: there with us. And it's a presence that's always there,
- 28:57Speaker 1: and it's something that I strive for that I'm gaining
- 29:01Speaker 1: more mastery of every single day. I always think about God,
- 29:08Speaker 1: though I also think about other things that are crazy,
- 29:12Speaker 1: and I'm crazy myself, and that makes me that cancels
- 29:16Speaker 1: me out for being crazy because I know that because
- 29:17Speaker 1: crazy people don't know they're crazy. So anyways, developing a
- 29:21Speaker 1: relationship with God is something that cannot be touched by
- 29:27Speaker 1: another human being. Someone cannot steal it from us. There
- 29:33Speaker 1: is a I still you know, Jesus is one of
- 29:38Speaker 1: my teachers. So is the Buddha, and so is I
- 29:43Speaker 1: don't know much about Krishna, but there's a lot of
- 29:48Speaker 1: different wisdoms out there from humans that have been on
- 29:50Speaker 1: this earth in the human form that are spirits. We're
- 29:54Speaker 1: all spirits, but we're in a human But people that
- 29:57Speaker 1: have been more elevated in enlightened bet our word Jesus
- 30:04Speaker 1: said in the Bible. I don't remember what verse, but
- 30:07Speaker 1: he says, go into your room, quiet your mind, alone
- 30:11Speaker 1: with God, and go to the place inside your heart
- 30:16Speaker 1: where thieves cannot steal. And our relationship with the Higher Power,
- 30:24Speaker 1: it's personal. It's different for every single person, but it's
- 30:29Speaker 1: something that we have an exclusive relationship with that cannot
- 30:38Speaker 1: be torn down. And that's where faith comes in and
- 30:44Speaker 1: where we use our intuition. But faith in this crazy
- 30:48Speaker 1: world with external things going around us that are kind
- 30:53Speaker 1: of scary and shouldn't be happening or that aren't necessary,
- 31:00Speaker 1: like men talking and ruling. You know, women give birth
- 31:06Speaker 1: to human beings. It's like it kind of like women
- 31:10Speaker 1: are to I don't know, it's just just saying there's
- 31:15Speaker 1: a lot of ridiculousness going on.
- 31:17Speaker 2: There's a lot of ridiculous less going on.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And I like need a personal assistant and a
- 31:23Speaker 1: makeup artist and a hair stylist. You know, I would
- 31:28Speaker 1: love all those things, and I think those with things
- 31:31Speaker 1: would make me feel so much better. But it's not true.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's like I've experienced having tons of money and having
- 31:36Speaker 1: all these cars and all these like nice things, and
- 31:38Speaker 1: it just doesn't fulfill what I thought I was going
- 31:43Speaker 1: to fulfill. It doesn't fulfill that space. There is a
- 31:46Speaker 1: space that we all have within us, which is where
- 31:50Speaker 1: self loathing lies, loneliness, self hatred and all these things
- 31:56Speaker 1: lie that we don't have to have or experience where
- 32:00Speaker 1: God comes in and fills that right. It's a secureness,
- 32:03Speaker 1: it's a security. It provides a secure cloth. And when
- 32:07Speaker 1: we have that faith and the understanding, regardless of what's
- 32:11Speaker 1: happening outside of us, there's things that just get more aligned.
- 32:16Speaker 1: We are more protected, and even if we experience something
- 32:19Speaker 1: to our physical body that is difficult, like disability or violation,
- 32:26Speaker 1: we still see it through On the other side. We
- 32:28Speaker 1: can take dogs as a perfect example. They are the
- 32:31Speaker 1: perfect example of how to unconditionally love and how to
- 32:34Speaker 1: unconditionally live this life. They're present, and they're focused on
- 32:39Speaker 1: joy and loving. They want to play and bite a
- 32:43Speaker 1: little bit. But one of my the puppies she bit
- 32:46Speaker 1: my achilles ten in today and I was like, well, yeah, okay,
- 32:50Speaker 1: she's still here, so yeah, oh my gosh. No, it's
- 32:54Speaker 1: so you know, it's like when we experience pain or
- 32:58Speaker 1: when we experience like certain things. It's like, ah, right,
- 33:02Speaker 1: it's okay, you know, it's it's it's I may not
- 33:07Speaker 1: make sense to anyone, but I don't care. It's like
- 33:10Speaker 1: I I had this vision in my mind of what
- 33:15Speaker 1: God looks like to me, and it's like this goopy
- 33:20Speaker 1: blob and it's it's like two parts. There's a small
- 33:24Speaker 1: space between it and God's on top. I'm on the bottom,
- 33:28Speaker 1: not being weird. Okay, so don't let your mind or
- 33:30Speaker 1: who the listener's mind go somewhere. Okay, Right, God's on top,
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm on the bottom. I'm smaller, and we're both just
- 33:39Speaker 1: goofy and we're dripping with goop. And it's like this,
- 33:43Speaker 1: there's just a space that we are not fully connected yet.
- 33:47Speaker 1: It's because I'm physically alive and I'm not in lightend.
- 33:51Speaker 1: If I were to become enlightened, then I would close
- 33:53Speaker 1: that gap, and I want to do that, right, I
- 33:56Speaker 1: don't want to experience that. Enlightenment's crazy boring to me.
- 34:02Speaker 1: You don't say anything, you don't care about anything. You're
- 34:06Speaker 1: just like whatever about everything you're discover.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I have passion, you know, I have like.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah, right, not just passion, the person too, So I
- 34:18Speaker 3: mean I get I get everything that you're saying, and
- 34:20Speaker 3: I hope that the listeners are gaining some insight as well,
- 34:23Speaker 3: because everything that you're saying it does make sense, but
- 34:27Speaker 3: it's up for interpretation, you.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, just like everything. And we all have our
- 34:32Speaker 1: own perspectives. And there have been some very wise teachers
- 34:38Speaker 1: that have really guided me to a different understanding of life.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I have read the entire Bible, but I was very
- 34:46Speaker 1: young when I read it. There are a lot of
- 34:50Speaker 1: insightful things in the Bible, though it was written by man,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and it was in a time where they thought incess
- 34:57Speaker 1: slavery and abuse to women was okay. It was a
- 34:59Speaker 1: rare one, no so. But some of the books that
- 35:04Speaker 1: have really given me a different perspective and understanding of
- 35:08Speaker 1: life is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel DUIs.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Love that book amazing.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I always reread it, so I need to reread it again.
- 35:18Speaker 2: But he was f one is don't take anything personal.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Yes, he has the four agreements, which is the first
- 35:24Speaker 1: one is don't don't assume it, don't take anything personal,
- 35:29Speaker 1: don't assume.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I don't remember them.
- 35:33Speaker 1: The fourth one is I always forget the third one,
- 35:35Speaker 1: I don't know why, or speak with integrity or the truth,
- 35:41Speaker 1: and then do.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Your best, do your best.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he you know, he was a surgeon, so
- 35:47Speaker 1: he had he was he was native, but I think
- 35:50Speaker 1: he was from Mexico. And he's still alive. Great man.
- 35:55Speaker 1: He's written several books that are just amazing and mind blowing.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And I read read that book for the first time,
- 36:03Speaker 1: uh six or seven years ago, and it still took
- 36:07Speaker 1: me years to really understand those concepts. And it's a
- 36:11Speaker 1: short book.
- 36:12Speaker 2: It's brief, it's.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a quick read. It's two hours two
- 36:21Speaker 1: and a half hours on audible. But I always highly
- 36:24Speaker 1: suggest reading it honestly, page by page, one page day, honestly,
- 36:31Speaker 1: or one chapter a week. I don't know. But it's
- 36:35Speaker 1: just these we have these wisdoms from native kind of
- 36:42Speaker 1: places where humans still hold onto those ties of the
- 36:52Speaker 1: symbionic way it is to be alive on this earth
- 36:55Speaker 1: with nature instead of all these psychological games. Were too
- 37:00Speaker 1: lost in psychological crap, right and we're lost. We're in
- 37:05Speaker 1: a very lost society and world right now.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we need to get back to that
- 37:11Speaker 2: place of holistic in nature. I'd be so I go
- 37:15Speaker 2: outside and the ground alive.
- 37:17Speaker 1: But we do our best, you know, but there is
- 37:19Speaker 1: if there is a guarantee, we will be forced, not
- 37:24Speaker 1: by human but by nature. We will be forced. And
- 37:29Speaker 1: I guarantee it in the next one hundred and fifty
- 37:34Speaker 1: for two hundred years, there will be a drastic drop
- 37:37Speaker 1: in the human population because of our lust for materialistic
- 37:42Speaker 1: stuff and technology. And be unhappy at the same time
- 37:47Speaker 1: and be not ourselves.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Wow, but that's gonna getting very amazing. This has been amazing. Listen.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I have a final question that I want to ask
- 37:58Speaker 2: if you could offer one piece of advice to our
- 38:00Speaker 2: listeners today who are currently facing pain and looking for purpose,
- 38:06Speaker 2: what would.
- 38:07Speaker 1: It be hmm, developing a relationship with one's preferences and
- 38:18Speaker 1: interest and following their passion. So it's like several things
- 38:24Speaker 1: in one. Following your highest passion and not holding other
- 38:28Speaker 1: people responsible for the way you feel, not taking things personal,
- 38:32Speaker 1: do the best you can and have Just know that
- 38:38Speaker 1: we're not alone. You know. We have spirits all around us,
- 38:41Speaker 1: but we also have human beings that really care about
- 38:45Speaker 1: us and that love us. And even though humans can
- 38:48Speaker 1: be really annoying, Like I don't have any family anymore,
- 38:54Speaker 1: and my new family I have that aren't blood related.
- 38:58Speaker 2: But.
- 39:00Speaker 1: They show up for me and sometimes they drive me crazy,
- 39:04Speaker 1: or I choose to let them drive me crazy, not them.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I'm responsible for the way I feel. But I'm getting
- 39:10Speaker 1: better about my voice. It's all about It's always a
- 39:16Speaker 1: self reflection and seeing how I can improve and how
- 39:19Speaker 1: I can be more of the master of my destiny.
- 39:24Speaker 1: But just really really taking an interest in discovering things
- 39:29Speaker 1: outside of what has been instilled in them to how
- 39:32Speaker 1: they're supposed to be. Really taking a curiosity to life.
- 39:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I used to be so against pole dancing, and I
- 39:39Speaker 1: thought all pole dancers were strippers that were drug addicts
- 39:42Speaker 1: and they all had STDs. I was like, they're just
- 39:44Speaker 1: crackheads and they just do drugs and just have all
- 39:47Speaker 1: these diseases. No, I'm a pole athlete. Now I'm a
- 39:51Speaker 1: team I'm a pole teacher, and I'm like, I was
- 39:54Speaker 1: so stupid and judgmental, Like I didn't know.
- 39:56Speaker 2: It's a sport. It's a sport. It takes a lot,
- 40:00Speaker 2: but you have to be very strong.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yes, And I never had that strength until I learned pole.
- 40:05Speaker 2: And now I'm.
- 40:06Speaker 1: A semi badass with it. I do my best. I'm
- 40:10Speaker 1: not no poster yet, but yeah, it's like life is
- 40:16Speaker 1: so short. We're supposed to be enjoying life and having fun.
- 40:19Speaker 1: We talk way too much. We talk way too much
- 40:22Speaker 1: about crap. We need to be laughing more and joking.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It's like maybe talking more like children. Me and my boyfriend,
- 40:29Speaker 1: we talk to each other like kids. Like children. We're
- 40:34Speaker 1: just like, are you going home?
- 40:36Speaker 2: Mee e? Sonny.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I'm like, we just silly ways. We just talk like
- 40:41Speaker 1: kids to each other. Of course we have you know,
- 40:43Speaker 1: adult serious talks or whatever, but it's mostly laughter as
- 40:51Speaker 1: a laughter, joy jokes, laughing, being happy, being present, taking
- 40:56Speaker 1: space when we need that space because we can't always
- 40:59Speaker 1: be happy. We got crazy things, and we give birth
- 41:03Speaker 1: and we get hurt and we we need to rest.
- 41:07Speaker 1: So thank you so much for listening to my intense
- 41:12Speaker 1: Thank you for being here. Yeah, thank you, thank you
- 41:15Speaker 1: for inviting me.
- 41:16Speaker 2: This is lovely love.
