Canucks Bring in Driedger for Demko's Health | Vancouver Canucks News
The Canucks are hedging their bets on goaltending by bringing in veteran Chris Driedger on a PTO, signaling concern over Thatcher Demko’s ongoing injury woes. Once a Vezina finalist, Demko’s been sidelined by knee, hip, and lower-body issues, casting doubt on his readiness for the season opener. With Driedger providing crucial insurance, Vancouver is preparing for the worst while hoping Demko can return to elite form — because without him, the team’s playoff hopes hang in the balance.
