LGBTQ community vows to fight to preserve rights
Members of the LGBTQ community are concerned that the incoming government will move to infringe their rights and may lead to a rise in violent attacks against gay, lesbian and trans people.
Particular concern is Avi Maoz , head of the single -member Noam faction, who has been given control over school enrichment programs and , amongst over things, has promised to work to ban the annual Gay Pride march in Jerusalem.
KAN's Mark Weiss spoke with Hila Pe’er, chair of the Association of LGBTQ Equality in Israel.
