Fifty-one-year-old Wayne Conrad Thompson just received a life sentence for shooting and killing Adrian Anastacio Richardson on a Portland TriMet bus in August 2021 — a crime that sparked national attention. The victim, 44, was verbally harassing another passenger when Thompson intervened, pulled out a gun, and fired after Richardson refused to stop.
