- 0:00Speaker 1: How many times this season do you think the New
- 0:03Speaker 1: York Yankees, how many times have they rolled out an
- 0:06Speaker 1: all left-handed lineup during the regular season? Probably not much. Ten? One.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 0:12Speaker 1: One time. So let's do that three times in a
- 0:14Speaker 1: row in the playoffs, right? That's what we talked about.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We're trying to create things when that's not the way
- 0:19Speaker 1: this team got here. The team got here by rolling
- 0:23Speaker 1: out your lineups, right? And now we're trying to trick
- 0:25Speaker 1: fuck the system. Let's go all lefties. The Rays throw...
- 0:29Speaker 1: and a massive amount of change-ups. So I was pretty
- 0:32Speaker 1: surprised seeing the all left-handed lineup again. Welcome back to
- 0:37Speaker 1: another episode of Ross and Rizzo Unfiltered. I'm Anthony Rizzo
- 0:40Speaker 1: with my partner, David Ross. Game two of the American
- 0:46Speaker 1: League Division Series is in the books. The White Sox
- 0:50Speaker 1: beating the Guardians 4-3 and the Yankees losing to the
- 0:54Speaker 1: Rays 5-2. Rossi What the fuck did we just watch
- 0:59Speaker 1: in that Yankee game?
- 1:01Speaker 2: I knew you were going to be on one tonight, man.
- 1:03Speaker 2: They did not start clean. I mean, we've talked about
- 1:07Speaker 2: it on here a ton already. Like, clean baseball is
- 1:10Speaker 2: playoff baseball. But your boy, Cam Schlittler, like, picked them up. Like,
- 1:15Speaker 2: only allowed one with all that chaos in the first inning.
- 1:18Speaker 1: All that speed.
- 1:20Speaker 2: The defense not helping him behind. Jazz, the crazy throw.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You know, just.
- 1:26Speaker 2: He had to pitch out of some traffic early and
- 1:28Speaker 2: a lot of mistakes behind him. But he kind of
- 1:31Speaker 2: takes the ball, puts them on his back, and keeps
- 1:34Speaker 2: it a one-run game. I thought that was huge for
- 1:35Speaker 2: them to stay in the game.
- 1:37Speaker 1: No doubt. And say what you want, Cam, right, maybe
- 1:42Speaker 1: didn't have his best stuff. But for what the circumstances
- 1:45Speaker 1: he dealt with, he was nasty. The fact that he
- 1:49Speaker 1: kept them in the game and the fact that that
- 1:51Speaker 1: was a 1-1 ball game in the fourth inning was–
- 1:55Speaker 1: I mean, credit to him and how, I mean, this
- 1:57Speaker 1: is his second year in the big leagues, and all
- 2:00Speaker 1: the adversity he just had to deal with, none of
- 2:03Speaker 1: that was, you know, by his doing, and he just
- 2:06Speaker 1: kept going, kept pitching. Maybe he wasn't as sharp, but
- 2:09Speaker 1: it was impossible for him to settle in. Every single
- 2:11Speaker 1: inning was high stress for him.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and credit to the Rays hitters. They were swinging early.
- 2:17Speaker 2: They jumped on all those mistakes behind him. I think
- 2:19Speaker 2: he only threw like 20 in the first, 20 in
- 2:22Speaker 2: the second, or 21 in the second.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Like, They put the ball in play.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I think, you know, you're talking about the American League
- 2:29Speaker 2: Cy Young winner, if we're being honest, right, Cam?
- 2:32Speaker 1: No doubt.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And these guys had quality at bats, hit the ball hard.
- 2:37Speaker 2: A couple homers, a couple balls hit the top of
- 2:39Speaker 2: the wall, almost homers.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Like, they're that good.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And, you know, the mistakes behind him didn't help him
- 2:45Speaker 2: in those high-stress pitches. But I thought a lot of
- 2:49Speaker 2: credit had to go to the Rays. Hard-hit balls, and
- 2:51Speaker 2: they were swinging early. They make contact. Um, they're going
- 2:55Speaker 2: to put the ball in play. They make you throw strikes.
- 2:57Speaker 2: And he had, I thought he had good stuff. It just,
- 2:59Speaker 2: he wasn't able to get in into anything, set anybody up.
- 3:02Speaker 2: They were, they were on him early and just, I don't,
- 3:06Speaker 2: I think it's a little bit, maybe wasn't quite as
- 3:08Speaker 2: sharp if you want to say that, but I just
- 3:10Speaker 2: thought a lot of credit had to go to the
- 3:11Speaker 2: race hitters and just how good they are, especially in
- 3:14Speaker 2: their home ballpark.
- 3:16Speaker 1: The least amount of strikeouts in a start this year
- 3:18Speaker 1: from Cam, the probably unanimous Cy Young Award winning the
- 3:23Speaker 1: American League. That's how good this Rays lineup is. He
- 3:26Speaker 1: only struck out two hitters, right? And this stuff is nasty. Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So they did put a lot of pressure on them.
- 3:32Speaker 1: The Yankees, man, they arguably gave the Rays five or
- 3:37Speaker 1: six extra outs. And as frustrating as that is as
- 3:43Speaker 1: a Yankee fan, if you're a Yankee fan, it doesn't matter.
- 3:46Speaker 1: No one hit, right? Yeah. Ben Rice, two home runs.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Austin Wells. And Bellinger.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Right? Austin Wells still swinging it well. Austin Wells
- 3:56Speaker 2: still swinging it well. Yeah, five hits in two games.
- 3:58Speaker 2: You're not going to win a lot of ballgames like
- 3:59Speaker 2: that unless they're going in the seats.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You're not going to win any ballgames like that.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Right?
- 4:03Speaker 1: You're right. I guess unless they're going in the seats.
- 4:06Speaker 2: But, I mean, Ben Rice still, like you said, Ben
- 4:08Speaker 2: Rice two home runs, but nobody's on bait. Like, just
- 4:11Speaker 2: the rest of the lineup. Booney's going to have to
- 4:13Speaker 2: mix something up. You know, I don't know what that
- 4:16Speaker 2: looks like, but.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Something's got to change. I played on the Yankees, right?
- 4:24Speaker 1: How many times this season do you think the New
- 4:27Speaker 1: York Yankees, and granted, Aaron Judge was hurt most of
- 4:31Speaker 1: the year, and so was Giancarlo Stanton. So they were
- 4:34Speaker 1: a very left-handed, dominant lineup. How many times have they
- 4:37Speaker 1: rolled out an all left-handed lineup during the regular season?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Probably not much. What would your guess be?
- 4:44Speaker 3: I would guess 10.
- 4:47Speaker 1: One. Wow. One time. So let's do that three times
- 4:53Speaker 1: in a row in the playoffs, right? That's what we
- 4:55Speaker 1: talked about. Exactly. We talked about this. We're trying to
- 5:00Speaker 1: create things when that's not the way this team got here.
- 5:03Speaker 1: The team got here by rolling out your lineups, right?
- 5:06Speaker 1: And now we're trying to trick fuck the system. Let's
- 5:09Speaker 1: go all lefties. The Rays throw a massive amount of changeups.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So I was pretty surprised seeing the all left-handed lineup again.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And then later on in the game, the lefty was
- 5:20Speaker 1: in there. and they weren't pinch hitting anyone. Yeah. I
- 5:23Speaker 1: was like, why have all these guys on the bench?
- 5:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was just, I was frustrated watching, uh, it's. Rasmussen
- 5:32Speaker 1: threw career high in changeups in game one, right? Yeah. That,
- 5:36Speaker 1: that tells you all you need to know on how
- 5:37Speaker 1: they're going to attack these left-handed hitters.
- 5:39Speaker 2: That tells you. Well, and we, we talked about it too.
- 5:42Speaker 2: When a, when a pitcher has a feel for certain
- 5:44Speaker 2: locations and pitches, um, and you face the same sided
- 5:49Speaker 2: hitter all the time, it just makes it easier on
- 5:51Speaker 2: them where they don't have to go back and forth.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Even if the righty gets out for a time, he
- 5:56Speaker 2: has to change. Usually you get a walk there because
- 5:58Speaker 2: he doesn't have the release point and the visual. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 2: there's a lot to be said about that. They're not
- 6:05Speaker 2: built on platooning. They went out and made some moves
- 6:09Speaker 2: and tried to fill some holes because Giancarlo.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And Judge is out, but.
- 6:16Speaker 2: They're trying to make shift, and I get where he's thinking,
- 6:20Speaker 2: but now it's time to just get the best bats
- 6:23Speaker 2: in there. I'm riding with Goldie. Goldie maybe makes some play. Again,
- 6:27Speaker 2: his defense alone probably would have saved you an error
- 6:30Speaker 2: or two tonight.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I know fans are frustrated with Jazz. That
- 6:34Speaker 1: play with infield in, they were playing three depth. It
- 6:37Speaker 1: seemed like it's not a contact play. Aranda just made
- 6:40Speaker 1: a great read. It was a perfectly chopped ball on
- 6:43Speaker 1: that turf. to where I thought Jazz made the right
- 6:47Speaker 1: play by going to first. Obviously, in the first inning,
- 6:50Speaker 1: he rushed that ball.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Well, and Booney put him at that depth because rarely,
- 6:56Speaker 2: and I think the raise, and this is a conversation
- 6:59Speaker 2: I had when I was managing, talking to some other coaches.
- 7:03Speaker 2: We were talking about the debate between going on contact
- 7:06Speaker 2: with nobody out, second, third, infield in, and a lot
- 7:11Speaker 2: of people don't.
- 7:12Speaker 3: They let the ball see it. let the ball go through.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And I think they were telling me, I don't quote
- 7:18Speaker 2: me on this, but I think the Rays always go
- 7:20Speaker 2: contact because of some kind of, some kind of stat
- 7:23Speaker 2: that they have where like putting pressure on the defense
- 7:27Speaker 2: in the, the, the numbers behind it.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, I didn't look like he was going. No,
- 7:32Speaker 1: he did.
- 7:32Speaker 2: He had a nice read, but I know they do
- 7:34Speaker 2: put pressure on the next ball. They definitely were going
- 7:37Speaker 2: on contact with one out. You could see an immediate
- 7:39Speaker 2: break from, I think it was Caminero down there. Had
- 7:42Speaker 2: a great jump on the next ball on the infield.
- 7:45Speaker 2: But yeah, man, you know, I think that's one of
- 7:49Speaker 2: the hardest plays in baseball coming from catching infield in
- 7:54Speaker 2: and the execution of fielding it and throwing a clean
- 7:59Speaker 2: handable ball to the catcher and him not blocking the plate,
- 8:03Speaker 2: catching it and tagging the runner going full speed is
- 8:06Speaker 2: a really tough play. So, you know, the Rays put
- 8:09Speaker 2: pressure on you and that's what they do. They're very
- 8:10Speaker 2: similar to the Brewers. And since they just put constant
- 8:13Speaker 2: pressure on you with contact.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yes, they're the two best teams, right? I mean, two
- 8:18Speaker 1: best teams in the league, in the American League and
- 8:20Speaker 1: the National League. So those are your two picks.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I sneaky love their just style of baseball, man.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It's like just the old school, like put the ball
- 8:29Speaker 2: in play, bunt, hit and run, just stealing bases, putting
- 8:33Speaker 2: pressure on.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I just love that style of baseball because they're old
- 8:37Speaker 1: school nationally. I mean, let's talk about how good the
- 8:40Speaker 1: Rays are, right? Yeah. they showed a stat during the
- 8:43Speaker 1: game that their Rays have forced 144 errors on opposing teams,
- 8:51Speaker 1: fourth in the league. So it'd be interesting to see
- 8:53Speaker 1: the top three, right? I'm sure the Brewers are up there.
- 8:57Speaker 1: White Sox may be up there with how pesky they are.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So they just, it's constant pressure. It's foot on the gas. It's,
- 9:05Speaker 1: you know, at all times. And These guys, man, they're
- 9:10Speaker 1: a great team. Kevin Cash pulls all the right strings.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He pulls Peralta today with, what do you have, like
- 9:18Speaker 1: 60 pitches?
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And brings in the lefty, and the lefty goes three plus.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You know what I mean? They're good. They're deep. Brian
- 9:28Speaker 1: Baker is a shutdown closer that's just not getting love,
- 9:32Speaker 1: and the deeper they go in the playoffs, the more
- 9:34Speaker 1: love he's going to get for how good he's been
- 9:35Speaker 1: this year. Yeah. This is a good baseball team.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Seymour, nine consecutive outs, or got nine outs out of
- 9:43Speaker 2: the pen, like huge, until he gave up that homer
- 9:46Speaker 2: to Ben Rice. He was absolutely carving. And Richie Palacios,
- 9:50Speaker 2: got to give him some love. I want to go
- 9:51Speaker 2: through that inning. We got first and third, two outs, right?
- 9:54Speaker 2: And then they steal that backdoor base, kind of a freebie.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Wells gives a full-arm fake. You're like, okay, we're just
- 10:00Speaker 2: going to bank on the lefty-lefty matchup, but that's an
- 10:04Speaker 2: underrated stolen base there that probably won't get talked about
- 10:07Speaker 2: too much.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Now we got second, third.
- 10:09Speaker 2: He works a 3-0 count, nice and comfortable, and then
- 10:12Speaker 2: comes out of his shoes, 3-0, the green light, 3-1,
- 10:16Speaker 2: fouling off pitches, fouling off pitches, works– Gets it back
- 10:20Speaker 2: to 3-2, and you're like, oh, man, he's going to
- 10:22Speaker 2: give up this at bat here.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Excuse me.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And a 3-2 base hit, line drive up the middle.
- 10:28Speaker 2: They score two, and it fell out of reach then
- 10:33Speaker 2: in a 5-1 game at that point. But great at
- 10:37Speaker 2: bat from Palacios and staying up the middle. Huge hit,
- 10:42Speaker 2: and the Rays just keep coming, man. They're just relentless.
- 10:44Speaker 2: It feels like they don't take one pitch off when
- 10:47Speaker 2: they're in the box. It's really impressive, and their pitching
- 10:49Speaker 2: is elite No doubt.
- 10:51Speaker 1: They'll have Nick Martinez going in the Bronx for game
- 10:54Speaker 1: three versus Max Fried.
- 10:55Speaker 2: There's something about the warm summer air and a cold
- 10:58Speaker 2: corona with lime that makes the roar of the crowd
- 11:00Speaker 2: sound a lot like the roar of the waves.
- 11:03Speaker 4: That's because this is our playa, and the best seats
- 11:05Speaker 4: are always wherever you're sitting.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Whether it's a weeknight game under the lights or a
- 11:09Speaker 2: Sunday afternoon in the sun, you know baseball isn't about
- 11:12Speaker 2: rushing around. It's about settling in, letting the game come
- 11:15Speaker 2: to you, and nothing pairs better than an ice-cold corona.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Nothing So find your seat, your Corona, and your line,
- 11:25Speaker 4: because real fans know the only thing better than nine
- 11:28Speaker 4: innings is extra innings, especially on La Playa.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Corona. La Playa awaits.

- 11:47Speaker 3: What's up, guys?
- 11:48Speaker 2: I need to tell you about this new prediction market
- 11:50Speaker 2: called Polymarket. It's the best new way to trade in sports.
- 11:54Speaker 2: In the past, if you wanted action on the game,
- 11:56Speaker 2: you'd put some money in, and if your team was
- 11:58Speaker 2: doing well and you wanted to cash out, they'd lock
- 12:01Speaker 2: the trade and take a huge fee. But Polymarket is
- 12:04Speaker 2: a prediction market. It's a stock exchange for sports, buying
- 12:07Speaker 2: in and selling out on your terms. I've tried them all,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and Polymarket is simply the best prediction market. Better than DraftKings, FanDuel, Calshi,
- 12:16Speaker 2: you name it. They're so confident you'll never go back
- 12:18Speaker 2: to the other guys. They're giving you a free $ 25
- 12:21Speaker 2: on your first trade when you deposit just $ 10.
- 12:23Speaker 3: And now they've launched a.
- 12:24Speaker 2: New feature, Squads, a group chat where you can see
- 12:27Speaker 2: what everyone is trading. So download the Polymarket app today
- 12:31Speaker 2: and use the code ROSSRIZZO when you sign up. That's
- 12:34Speaker 2: code ROSSRIZZO and get $ 25 free after you deposit just $ 10.
- 12:39Speaker 1: The Yankees, they have to score runs. At the end
- 12:42Speaker 1: of the day, we can break down their defense all
- 12:44Speaker 1: they want, but if they don't score runs... It's impossible, right?
- 12:49Speaker 1: So Yankee Stadium, hopefully it'll be a different story for them.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And for the Rays, hopefully they keep the foot on
- 12:54Speaker 1: the pedal. One player that is going crazy scoring runs.
- 13:00Speaker 3: One playa.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Playa. Putting it in his own hands is our playa
- 13:05Speaker 1: of the week. Shout out Corona. Ben Rice, man. One
- 13:11Speaker 1: of the lone bright spots right now on that Yankee offense.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Two home runs, another two home runs tonight. Four total
- 13:19Speaker 1: in the playoffs. Four games, four homers. That's pretty good,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I would say. Seven hits, four home runs, eight RBIs,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and three walks. He's locked, bro. Him stepping up in
- 13:29Speaker 1: Judge's absence and Stanton's absence is something that Yankees fans
- 13:34Speaker 1: should be really excited for. Obviously, right now, it's hard
- 13:37Speaker 1: to be excited for anything as a Yankee fan, but
- 13:40Speaker 1: Ben Rice, what you're doing in October versus your division rivals... nonetheless,
- 13:46Speaker 1: is a statement.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Shout out Playa of the Week, Ben Rice. He's carrying
- 13:52Speaker 2: them right now. They're the only offensive presence they really had,
- 13:55Speaker 2: him and Wells.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Exactly. I don't think this series is over. They just
- 14:00Speaker 1: got to win one game. Obviously, Rossi, we've come back
- 14:03Speaker 1: from worse. That's right.
- 14:05Speaker 3: One at a time.
- 14:08Speaker 1: One at a time is right. Same thing goes for
- 14:13Speaker 1: the Cleveland Guardians. One at a time. Because the Chicago
- 14:18Speaker 1: White Sox making another statement, bro. Will Venable going with
- 14:23Speaker 1: the opener. Doesn't work out. Brings in his second opener,
- 14:27Speaker 1: Sean Newcomb. Makes a pretty costly error in the first inning, right?
- 14:33Speaker 1: To give the Guardian players momentum. And that fan, that
- 14:37Speaker 1: stadium was going crazy to take a 2-0 lead. First
- 14:41Speaker 1: time this playoffs where The White Sox got punched in
- 14:44Speaker 1: the face where their opener didn't work out right away, Rossi.
- 14:48Speaker 2: No, it felt like when you're watching the game, like, okay,
- 14:52Speaker 2: here come the Indians. We're going to have a tie series, right?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Like the momentum early on.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Guardians.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Yes. They were the Indians when we were playing. I
- 15:00Speaker 1: can't help it.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, MLB.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Don't at me.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the Guardians, man. It felt like they were just,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you know, finally the momentum. Okay, here comes their offense.
- 15:10Speaker 2: They got a little bit of things going their way.
- 15:13Speaker 2: You know, Anthony Kaye, the first time the opener really
- 15:15Speaker 2: didn't work for, like you said, for Will Venable. And, man,
- 15:20Speaker 2: they looked like things were going to go well. And
- 15:22Speaker 2: they got their stud horse on the mound, striking out
- 15:26Speaker 2: 11 in his.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Gavin Williams, man. Bro, these guys, it's like everyone talks
- 15:32Speaker 1: about Jacob Mizorowski, Paul Skeens. Bro, all of these pitchers, man,
- 15:37Speaker 1: are just absolutely elite.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I mean– 101 with that nasty hammer.
- 15:44Speaker 3: That was a hammer.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That freaking spiked curveball, bro. That thing's nasty. Just falling
- 15:51Speaker 2: off the table. The ball looks like it jumps up
- 15:54Speaker 2: in the zone, too. It's just real four-seam carry, man.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Unbelievable.
- 16:00Speaker 3: His stuff was nasty.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Nasty. And for the White Sox, their magic. is their magic.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And I feel like the guy who creates most of
- 16:09Speaker 1: that spark is Murray Kama. And he gets it going
- 16:12Speaker 1: with the RBI single on the top of the fourth.
- 16:15Speaker 1: And then they take the lead on the Brandon Montgomery
- 16:17Speaker 1: 2 RBI double. So they're winning 3-2. And then after
- 16:23Speaker 1: the two openers, Will Venable brings in his ace, Sean Burke.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I haven't seen the two opener strategy, Rossi. I've seen
- 16:30Speaker 1: the one opener go into your bulk guy or your pitcher,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but The two-opener strategy, I kind of like it.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Burke was nasty, man. 13 straight, retired, all the way
- 16:42Speaker 2: to the eighth. Like, absolutely electric stuff. What a performance
- 16:46Speaker 2: by him when he needed it.
- 16:48Speaker 3: It was unbelievable.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And we got to give a shout-out, Braden Montgomery, okay?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Second year on the show, a young man, just figuring
- 16:56Speaker 2: things out from the right side. His two-run double, 3-2 count.
- 17:01Speaker 2: His OPS against lefties, 4-2. 30.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That's not good. Not good. You were better than that.
- 17:09Speaker 2: It was better than that, which is not saying much.
- 17:11Speaker 2: But the fact like just continue to have the at bats.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Huge double down the right field line.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Great piece of hitting like that felt like, OK, here
- 17:20Speaker 2: comes here comes the the White Sox and their magic man.
- 17:23Speaker 1: They can hit.
- 17:24Speaker 3: They control the zone. They take their I think they
- 17:26Speaker 3: got hurt a stat. I didn't know that. I think
- 17:27Speaker 3: they led MLB in walks this year.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Like, they can, for a young group, like, they hack
- 17:34Speaker 2: at homers, but they also control the strike zone and.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Make you fill it up. So, huge at-bat.
- 17:40Speaker 1: There by Brady Montgomery. That was really, really cool.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And Sean Burke, man, like, that backdoor little cutter thing
- 17:46Speaker 2: he likes to get ahead of, like, it's almost a
- 17:47Speaker 2: free strike. He had that thing locked in today, the
- 17:51Speaker 2: break ball, the four-seamers up.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Just unbelievable.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 17:56Speaker 1: He allowed one hit, Sean Burke, right? Rossi, what do
- 17:59Speaker 1: you got on the, like, you bring in your just
- 18:03Speaker 1: top bullpen arms in the first and second, then you
- 18:07Speaker 1: ride your starter till the eighth. I mean, obviously, that's
- 18:10Speaker 1: a perfect formula, but I kind of like the double
- 18:13Speaker 1: opener and then go into your bulk, right?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, they must have had somebody that they liked him facing, right? Or, like,
- 18:21Speaker 2: try to map it out and just kind of work
- 18:24Speaker 2: in the strategy backwards. The opener is one thing, but
- 18:26Speaker 2: maybe just getting into.
- 18:29Speaker 2: You know, a couple innings in, or I don't know
- 18:32Speaker 2: what his actual thought process is or like how they
- 18:35Speaker 2: map that thing out. And maybe, you know, maybe Will
- 18:39Speaker 2: is giving it a little bit of credit just watching
- 18:40Speaker 2: the game and Burke looks so good. He's like, I'm,
- 18:43Speaker 2: this guy's nasty. He's retiring everybody. Like we said, 13 straight.
- 18:47Speaker 2: So nobody's reaching base. I'm not getting anybody. I'm not,
- 18:51Speaker 2: I'm not getting anybody up. I'm not getting anybody hot.
- 18:52Speaker 2: So credit them for, you know, not having it so
- 18:55Speaker 2: scripted and kind of watching you do with your your
- 18:59Speaker 2: experience and and knowing the guys and and how they're
- 19:02Speaker 2: handling the moment it's really impressive.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Bro you you just said experience what these white socks
- 19:07Speaker 1: players are gaining right now and these games and these
- 19:10Speaker 1: moments the experience that they're going to be able to
- 19:12Speaker 1: take with them for the rest of their careers however
- 19:15Speaker 1: the rest of this playoff shakes out this experience for
- 19:18Speaker 1: them is it's it's jump-starting their careers even more. Such
- 19:26Speaker 1: young talent, such young players getting to experience this playoff atmosphere.
- 19:30Speaker 1: You saw the Yankees today. They made the errors in
- 19:32Speaker 1: the first inning. They just could not rebound. The White
- 19:36Speaker 1: Sox get punched in the face in the first inning. Two-run.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's a two-run error. That's tough on the road. They
- 19:43Speaker 1: just bounce back and they win the ballgame. They find
- 19:46Speaker 1: a way to win.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And you know how when that crowd gets going on
- 19:49Speaker 2: the road in a playoff atmosphere, it feels like you've
- 19:53Speaker 2: got a real uphill battle.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You know who I love for the White Sox? Chase Mydroff.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I can't say enough good things.
- 19:59Speaker 2: About him, but huge base hit, taking it to 4-2,
- 20:04Speaker 2: kind of putting it a little bit breathing room there.
- 20:07Speaker 3: For the White Sox, but he's got some grit to him, man.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Just like Edge. The whole team. Yeah. The whole team, bro.
- 20:14Speaker 1: It's fun. And then, Rossi, Grant Taylor comes in after
- 20:20Speaker 1: his heroics in game one, right? Will Venable riding him
- 20:23Speaker 1: four innings, 40-plus pitches, comes in and locks down the save,
- 20:27Speaker 1: goes an inning and a third. Yeah, yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Like, this dude's arm's going to fall off. We'll figure
- 20:32Speaker 1: that out later. He's young. He can recover. They have
- 20:34Speaker 1: an off day. They're going back to– Guaranteed rate field
- 20:38Speaker 1: to Chicago.
- 20:39Speaker 2: He gave up some hard hit. The balls, they were outs,
- 20:41Speaker 2: but he gave up a little bit of hard hit.
- 20:43Speaker 2: That would be a red flag. I'm glad he gets
- 20:45Speaker 2: an off day tomorrow.
- 20:46Speaker 1: That's for sure. No doubt. I mean, the whole team
- 20:49Speaker 1: gets to reset now tomorrow. And now there's blood in
- 20:52Speaker 1: the water for these White Sox. They're going home to
- 20:55Speaker 1: guaranteed rate field. I still call it Comiskey, right, in
- 20:59Speaker 1: the south side of Chicago where these fans are buzzing.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's going to be loud there. Those fans
- 21:06Speaker 1: are rowdy. We know playing in that Cubs-White Sox rivalry
- 21:10Speaker 1: that those fans are relentless there on the south side.
- 21:13Speaker 1: So good for them. How about that?
- 21:16Speaker 3: Joe Adele almost tied that thing up.
- 21:18Speaker 2: That ball he hit off the top of the wall.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I was like, he hit it. And I'm like, he's
- 21:22Speaker 2: got some sick juice.
- 21:23Speaker 1: But you know what?
- 21:24Speaker 3: He doesn't have the juice like daddy.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Some of us go deep there, Joe.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Some of us go deep there.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I had to get that in. I had to get that.
- 21:32Speaker 2: No, that was like, I was like, He hit that,
- 21:34Speaker 2: and I saw the outfielder turn and look up. I'm like, oh,
- 21:37Speaker 2: we got a tie ball game. Hits off the top,
- 21:40Speaker 2: makes it 4-3, and then they shut it down. So
- 21:43Speaker 2: that was a great game.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Rossi, I'm going to be in Chicago on Wednesday, and
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'm heavily debating going to the game. Listen, I said
- 21:54Speaker 1: this all the time, and I stand by it. When
- 21:56Speaker 1: we won the World Series in 2016, if you're a
- 21:59Speaker 1: White Sox fan and you couldn't have a little bit
- 22:02Speaker 1: of like love for that Cubs team, I always said
- 22:07Speaker 1: you're just a miserable fucking person, right? I like that.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I like that. Because of the drought and it's the
- 22:13Speaker 1: city of Chicago and you want the city of Chicago
- 22:15Speaker 1: to do well. So now being on the other end
- 22:17Speaker 1: of it, if you're a Cubs fan and you can't
- 22:19Speaker 1: be rooting, this White Sox team is a very likable team. Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 1: They've come out of nowhere. They've gone through hell the
- 22:27Speaker 1: last few years, losing a record amount of games, back-to-back
- 22:30Speaker 1: 100-loss seasons. They're just a fun team to root for.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Murray Kama is so much fun. This whole team, Will
- 22:36Speaker 1: Venable is doing an amazing job as a manager. So
- 22:41Speaker 1: I am debating on going to the game. One of
- 22:42Speaker 1: my best friends is a diehard White Sox fan, and
- 22:46Speaker 1: he has a White Sox jersey. Morgan? Yeah, my boy.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Shout out, Morgan. He has a White Sox jersey. I
- 22:52Speaker 1: call him the mayor with Rizzo 44 on the back, right?
- 22:55Speaker 1: So he would come to Cubs games wearing his White
- 22:57Speaker 1: Sox jersey with my name on the back. That's sick.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That's awesome. I didn't know that. That's nice. He's got
- 23:04Speaker 1: to be on cloud nine right now. Shout out Morgan.
- 23:06Speaker 3: He's awesome.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I just think it would be really cool to experience
- 23:10Speaker 1: that atmosphere there in Chicago. Rossi, what do you got?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Tell me who wins game three. Give me your predictions.
- 23:17Speaker 1: What do we got?
- 23:18Speaker 2: My polymarket pick of the game. I'm going to tell
- 23:21Speaker 2: you who I think is going to win game three
- 23:24Speaker 2: in Chicago. We've got the White Sox are 54% to
- 23:28Speaker 2: the yes. to complete the sweep. $ 100 gets you $ 179,
- 23:33Speaker 2: and the Guardians are 46% to the yes. $ 100 gets
- 23:37Speaker 2: you $ 207, and I'm about making money.
- 23:40Speaker 1: That's what you said.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I told you. I like making money. The Guardians cannot
- 23:46Speaker 2: go out like this. I think it's going to be electric.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It's going to be an amazing atmosphere in Chicago on
- 23:51Speaker 2: the south side, but I feel like the Guardians got
- 23:56Speaker 2: to get one under the books. I'm Secretly kind of
- 23:59Speaker 2: rooting for the city of Chicago and the White Sox.
- 24:01Speaker 2: But when it talks about money, I got no friends.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Scared money don't make money. Polymarket, I'm going with the Guardians. Hey,
- 24:10Speaker 1: let me ask you this. This is a wild take.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Would it be better? Say right now it's 2-0 and
- 24:18Speaker 1: history says that these teams have a probably 95% chance
- 24:22Speaker 1: of moving on, right? The odds are heavily stacked against
- 24:25Speaker 1: the Guardians of the Yankees. Would it be better for
- 24:29Speaker 1: these teams to lose a game to get punched in
- 24:32Speaker 1: the face before they lose their first game in the playoffs?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Because you've seen teams get super hot through the playoffs,
- 24:37Speaker 1: and then that first time they get punches in the
- 24:39Speaker 1: CS or the World Series. I remember in 07, the Rockies,
- 24:43Speaker 1: they swept their way through and then just got swept
- 24:45Speaker 1: in the World Series. Good point. Good point. Obviously, you
- 24:48Speaker 1: don't want to lose a game.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want to lose a game.
- 24:51Speaker 1: On the media end now, it's easy to talk about.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Forget how hard it was to play, right?
- 24:56Speaker 2: You can see where, like, the young guys overcome a
- 25:01Speaker 2: little bit of adversity. I don't think that would affect them.
- 25:03Speaker 2: But it's going to be a good environment, man. I
- 25:05Speaker 2: can't wait to see what it looks like on the
- 25:08Speaker 2: south side.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be fun. Fun to watch right
- 25:12Speaker 1: in Yankee Stadium to see, you know, Yankees don't get
- 25:15Speaker 1: off to a good start. Those fans are passionate in
- 25:18Speaker 1: the Bronx.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's going to be loud. If they do
- 25:20Speaker 3: get off to a good start, they.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Will be loud. That it will be. Cannot wait. Let's
- 25:26Speaker 1: get to our Tim Boss ball bag questions of the day.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Our daily mail bag for me and Rossi answering our
- 25:34Speaker 1: fan questions. You can leave comments on our socials, on
- 25:38Speaker 1: our YouTube channel, or email us at rossandrizzo at gmail.com.
- 25:42Speaker 1: This is our favorite part of the show where we
- 25:44Speaker 1: get to answer your questions and bring you inside our brains.
- 25:48Speaker 1: First one is an email from John. Dejected Yankee fan here. Oh,
- 25:52Speaker 1: what a start. Yeah.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 3: John, thanks for the email.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I think what I would say is the hope for
- 26:23Speaker 2: the Yankees is they played.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Bad at the Trop all year long.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Like their stats, the pitching has got, I think it's
- 26:30Speaker 2: a two-run difference at the Trop than at home. It's
- 26:35Speaker 2: just not their place to play. And the Rays are
- 26:38Speaker 2: great at home. The Rays are one of the best
- 26:39Speaker 2: teams in baseball, best records at home, tied with the Brewers.
- 26:42Speaker 2: So the hope is it is that type of baseball there. Turf,
- 26:47Speaker 2: slap it. good at bats, trying to create pressure on
- 26:51Speaker 2: that fast infield. As you saw tonight, some hops that
- 26:55Speaker 2: just ate up Mayhew, who's an elite defender, at third
- 26:59Speaker 2: to start the whole game off. The hope is that
- 27:03Speaker 2: you get to Yankee Stadium, get to your home field,
- 27:06Speaker 2: the home run comes in play a little bit more.
- 27:09Speaker 2: You can play your brand of baseball home behind your fans.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I think The real thing that I put my manager
- 27:17Speaker 2: hat on that stands out to me is a lot
- 27:20Speaker 2: of these teams that can't afford the big boppers like
- 27:23Speaker 2: the Yankees have, they went with contact and quality of
- 27:25Speaker 2: the bat and controlling the strike zone. You talk about
- 27:27Speaker 2: the White Sox who control the strike zone, the Milwaukee
- 27:30Speaker 2: Brewers who put pressure on and put.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Balls in play.
- 27:34Speaker 2: That's a winning formula right now with the velocity and
- 27:37Speaker 2: how good all these pitchers are. So some teams are
- 27:40Speaker 2: a little bit behind, and I would say the Yankees
- 27:42Speaker 2: may be Their formula for success has always been, and
- 27:46Speaker 2: I think they stick to, we're going to live and
- 27:48Speaker 2: die by the homer and the great pitching they have.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it's definitely frustrating as a Yankee fan.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I get it. It seems like the theme this year
- 27:57Speaker 1: was the run-it-back Yankees, and I think this team, this
- 28:00Speaker 1: pitching is elite. This hasn't been the defense that they've
- 28:05Speaker 1: been playing all year. They've been consistently better defensively. Today
- 28:09Speaker 1: was one of those games, and it's just magnified because
- 28:11Speaker 1: it's the playoffs. But at the end of the day,
- 28:13Speaker 1: like I said, Rossi, they have to hit. They have
- 28:14Speaker 1: to hit as a team. They can't rely on the
- 28:17Speaker 1: long ball, which I know they do. But why everyone
- 28:20Speaker 1: was so excited for this Yankee team coming into the
- 28:22Speaker 1: series was how they beat the Red Sox. They beat
- 28:25Speaker 1: them on singles, singles, singles, singles, good hitting, and a
- 28:28Speaker 1: few homers, right? I would say this.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I would say this to John is that the Rays
- 28:35Speaker 2: were better than them during the regular season. Maybe the
- 28:38Speaker 2: Rays are just a better team. I'm going to throw
- 28:41Speaker 2: that out there.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I mean, of course.
- 28:43Speaker 2: There is that factor, and you've got to be playing well.
- 28:46Speaker 2: By the way, talking about great defense, this is a
- 28:48Speaker 2: side note. George Lombard Jr., that play where Jazz took
- 28:52Speaker 2: him off the bag early in that first, what a
- 28:55Speaker 2: great wherewithal, not to try to throw it to first
- 28:57Speaker 2: with a fast runner in Simpson, but he goes back
- 29:00Speaker 2: and tags the bag.
- 29:01Speaker 3: George Lombard Jr. is a young upcoming.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Stud who has made his presence felt, and he's going
- 29:06Speaker 2: to be elite at second base for a long time.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Next email. No doubt.
- 29:10Speaker 2: From Paul Tilden. My question is about two current players
- 29:15Speaker 2: who I really love. Dansby and Michael Bush. Love Michael
- 29:17Speaker 2: Bush and Dansby. I agree with you there, Paul. What
- 29:21Speaker 2: can they do to hit better to match their fantastic defense?
- 29:28Speaker 1: You want to take this?
- 29:29Speaker 2: I think Dansby has, you're getting what you get. Like
- 29:34Speaker 2: that's who he's kind of always been. There's some swing
- 29:37Speaker 2: and miss in there. He's a phenomenal defender. As you said,
- 29:40Speaker 2: he hits home runs. He's got big-time pop. I think
- 29:46Speaker 2: at this point in his career, I don't know how
- 29:48Speaker 2: much would change from that, but maybe he makes some adjustments.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Each year is unique, and maybe he works on some
- 29:53Speaker 2: of that in the offseason. I think Michael Bush just
- 29:55Speaker 2: had a down year for him. He was spectacular offseason.
- 29:59Speaker 2: last year offensively. And one of the guys that I
- 30:01Speaker 2: thought carried him, carried them to the postseason, helped carry
- 30:03Speaker 2: them to the postseason. I think he just had a
- 30:07Speaker 2: tough year, to be honest. He is a great defender,
- 30:11Speaker 2: but I think he took a step back this year
- 30:14Speaker 2: from what the expectations he had set from last year.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think that Dan's getting 19 home runs.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It's not easy to find shortstops with that type of pop, right?
- 30:26Speaker 1: If he could get his average up a tick. Yeah,
- 30:30Speaker 1: for sure. Everything boosts up. Then you're looking at, you know,
- 30:34Speaker 1: his career OPS is 729. He gets his average up
- 30:37Speaker 1: a little bit, which he was earlier in his career.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Earlier in his career, he was, you know, he had 300,
- 30:42Speaker 1: he had 270, 250, 270. So, he was around that
- 30:47Speaker 1: 800 OPS. So, he gets a couple more base hits
- 30:51Speaker 1: for Dansby. That leads to more confidence, which leads to
- 30:54Speaker 1: more slug, which leads to just overall better being of
- 30:59Speaker 1: product of baseball.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 1: And then I had him his first year. Well, I
- 31:03Speaker 1: had him his first year and he hit.
- 31:04Speaker 2: The ball the other way early on. And when he's
- 31:08Speaker 2: like that, he's the most locked in. It looks like,
- 31:10Speaker 2: you know, this year a little more pool happy and
- 31:12Speaker 2: like guys have good and bad years. I don't, I
- 31:14Speaker 2: don't think this was a standout year for him offensively,
- 31:17Speaker 2: but sorry.
- 31:18Speaker 1: To cut you off. Go ahead. No, no, no. Well
- 31:20Speaker 1: for Bushy, this is his first year legitimately playing every day, right?
- 31:25Speaker 1: He played in 160 games. He was in there. He said,
- 31:28Speaker 1: here you go. You've earned this. He had a monster
- 31:30Speaker 1: year last year, and he came on at the end
- 31:32Speaker 1: of last year hitting lefties really well. So this is
- 31:35Speaker 1: his first year really hitting lefties every day and not
- 31:39Speaker 1: getting the mental days off. That's what a lot of
- 31:43Speaker 1: people don't understand is when you play every day, there's
- 31:46Speaker 1: no break, right? You're facing lefties. You're facing righties. There's
- 31:50Speaker 1: no break. When you're not a true everyday player, You play,
- 31:55Speaker 1: and then, oh, let's give him a day. And that
- 31:58Speaker 1: one day is such a reset. And if you get
- 32:02Speaker 1: three of those a month, you still look like an
- 32:05Speaker 1: everyday player, but you're not a full-time everyday player. You
- 32:09Speaker 1: know what I mean, Rossi?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well said, bro.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So those little mental resets, and that's Bushy's first year
- 32:16Speaker 1: going through that full-time everyday player, where here you go.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I love Michael Bush.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I love him too. I think he's a great player,
- 32:24Speaker 1: and I think that he'll learn a lot from this
- 32:27Speaker 1: year going into next year, and I think you'll see
- 32:30Speaker 1: him repeat more of that 2025 version of him, not
- 32:34Speaker 1: the 2026 version, which is still a very good player.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Well said. I haven't broke down the numbers as much,
- 32:40Speaker 1: but I can guarantee you he hit righties really well.
- 32:41Speaker 1: He probably struggled a little bit off lefties. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:44Speaker 1: The only way he hit lefties better is by playing
- 32:47Speaker 1: against lefties.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Facing lefties, that is right.
- 32:49Speaker 1: All right, what's Jennifer got to say? Jennifer, last email
- 32:53Speaker 1: from Jennifer. Besides trying to eliminate sign stealing, how do
- 32:56Speaker 1: you feel about the impact of pitch calm in the game?
- 32:59Speaker 1: Besides the pitcher and the catcher, does any other player
- 33:02Speaker 1: or manager wear one? Oh, good question. That is a
- 33:05Speaker 1: good question.
- 33:06Speaker 3: You're allowed five in the field, okay? So is that right?
- 33:12Speaker 1: Is it five? I'm blanking now. One, two, three, yes, five. Five, right?
- 33:16Speaker 2: So usually it's pitcher, catcher, and then it's middle infielders
- 33:19Speaker 2: and the center fielder usually.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I'll get one.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Um, so I love pitch calm. Uh, wish I would've
- 33:27Speaker 2: had it when I played. It just takes away some
- 33:29Speaker 2: of the, some of the, you know, speeds the game up.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Just speeds the game up.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I don't have to go through a whole, I was
- 33:35Speaker 2: on McAfee the other day, explaining him different codes that
- 33:38Speaker 2: we had at, at a second with John Lester and
- 33:41Speaker 2: the different guys, Kevin Brown used to be previous pitch.
- 33:44Speaker 2: It was like so confusing to me at first. And
- 33:45Speaker 2: then it got to be really easy, but, um, I
- 33:49Speaker 2: liked the sign ceiling. Just, speeds of the game. I
- 33:51Speaker 2: love that pitchers can call their own pitches. Um, if they,
- 33:54Speaker 2: if they feel convicted about something, if they disagree, um.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure you would have loved that when you caught.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Hey, Hey, I just wanted to out. So I just
- 34:04Speaker 3: want to out.
- 34:04Speaker 1: No, you go here.
- 34:05Speaker 2: John just thought he'd get smart every once in a while.
- 34:07Speaker 2: And I'm like, let me, let me just, let me think.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Through these things. Yeah.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Great question though. I like pitch calm and I like
- 34:14Speaker 2: that The center fielder can hear. I like that the
- 34:17Speaker 2: middle infielders can hear. You know, it depends on how
- 34:20Speaker 2: you want to spread them out throughout the infield. But
- 34:24Speaker 2: most teams use up the middle and then dead center
- 34:27Speaker 2: because those guys are really important.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. It just speeds up the game.
- 34:32Speaker 1: It takes sign stealing from second base out of it,
- 34:35Speaker 1: even from first base. Like when I used to steal bases, Rossi,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I would just look in the catcher's glove from first base.
- 34:41Speaker 1: If I saw him throw down off speed, I would
- 34:43Speaker 1: take off, right?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Because at first base, they don't give multiple signs. Usually
- 34:47Speaker 1: it was only at second base.
- 34:48Speaker 2: That's right.
- 34:49Speaker 1: So that eliminates a lot of the sign stealing that
- 34:55Speaker 1: goes on in the game. Then you evolve, right? And
- 34:59Speaker 1: the paranoia of it. And the paranoia.
- 35:01Speaker 3: You're always feeling like somebody's picking something up.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yeah. And there was one time, this is what you
- 35:08Speaker 1: have to do when you're a below average runner and
- 35:10Speaker 1: Shout out to me. I'm running the Bank of America
- 35:12Speaker 1: Chicago Marathon this Sunday. So I will show off my
- 35:16Speaker 1: below average speed in this marathon. But we're in Toronto.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Slow and steady. Slow and steady. We're in Toronto. It's
- 35:23Speaker 1: funny because my son's favorite stuffy is a turtle. So
- 35:27Speaker 1: probably that's what I emulate. Anyways, we're in Toronto and
- 35:30Speaker 1: Vladdy Jr. had his pitch calm and it was turned
- 35:33Speaker 1: up high. So I was hearing the pitches from first
- 35:35Speaker 1: base when I was on. I took a bag because
- 35:37Speaker 1: of it. Sick. You're always trying to get the edge.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Always.
- 35:41Speaker 1: But I never wore it. I never wore it because
- 35:43Speaker 1: I just, I couldn't. There'd be too many times I'm like,
- 35:46Speaker 1: why are we throwing that pitch? So I just, I
- 35:48Speaker 1: always wanted to just not know.
- 35:50Speaker 3: If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Isn't that the saying? Isn't that the saying? Yeah. So
- 35:55Speaker 1: that's our game two of the division series, American League
- 35:59Speaker 1: division series recap. Both teams are against the wall. I
- 36:03Speaker 1: do not think these series are over. Hopefully that both
- 36:06Speaker 1: teams can force a game four. Right? Yep. A game four.
- 36:11Speaker 1: just because we want more baseball. It's October. These moments
- 36:15Speaker 1: are amazing. Must watch television. Thank you everyone for watching.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Make sure to comment.
- 36:20Speaker 3: We got Atlanta Dodgers coming.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Atlanta Dodgers tomorrow. Brewers. Padres. Padres back against the wall.
- 36:29Speaker 1: It's going to be rocking in San Diego. Rocking.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Sale Yamamoto. I can't wait for that matchup.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Let's go. We will see you guys tomorrow. Rizzo, Ross, out.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Peace!
