Latest / Kenny Wallace Media / Georgia Beats Tennessee in OT Thriller, Why I Don't Care About The NFL & The "Bash Brothers" Are Back! | Charlie Marlow Show
Transcript
- 0:00What's up everybody, Charlie Marlow here we are live on the
- 0:04Charlie Marlow YouTube channel and also podcasted on Kenny
- 0:08Wallace Media. We're going to talk a lot of
- 0:10sports today all over the map. We'll start with college
- 0:14football week 3. I'm always honest with you guys
- 0:18with what I watch and what I don't watch.
- 0:22I'm an Ohio State fan. I say that each and every week.
- 0:25The Buckeyes, though, we're playing Ohio, the Bobcats,
- 0:30that's just not a game I'm interested in.
- 0:32Just being honest with you. We'll get to that in a second.
- 0:35But I want to start with the one game I did watch and it was just
- 0:40the fourth quarter in overtime. But man, there's a lot of
- 0:43action-packed in that period of football.
- 0:46We're talking Georgia versus Tennessee.
- 0:51Georgia wins 4441 at Tennessee in overtime.
- 0:58Tennessee with a chance to win it at the end.
- 1:02Fourth quarter kicker field goal no good.
- 1:08You thought Georgia was done. Unbelievable atmosphere in this
- 1:13game. Georgia had what I'll I'll bring
- 1:15it up the play by play. Georgia had something like a
- 1:21fourth and ball game, 4th and 6th, 4th and six at the end
- 1:26there. Here, I'll find it for you.
- 1:29George's touchdown, Basically this is a drive starting with
- 1:356:40 to go in the fourth quarter.
- 1:38OK, so you got fourth and six, two minutes and 32 seconds left
- 1:45in the ball game, 4th and six at the Tennessee 28 yard line.
- 1:51So basically all the Tennessee has to do is get a stop here.
- 1:56Tennessee gets a stop. They essentially win the ball
- 1:59game. At this point it is 3830
- 2:04Tennessee 28 yard touchdown pass Gunner Stockton to London
- 2:10Humphreys. You probably saw their back
- 2:12right corner of the end zone. Beautiful throw, beautiful
- 2:17catch. 2 point conversion. Good to Zachariah Branch 38, all
- 2:23boom and we're going to overtime.
- 2:26But before overtime, so about 2 1/2 minutes left in the game,
- 2:32Tennessee with the ball. This was not an easy kick by any
- 2:37means. Max Gilbert 43 yard field goal
- 2:42missed. Remember, this is coming right
- 2:44after a false start pushes them back 5 yards.
- 2:48So it would have been 38 yard field goal.
- 2:50Max Gilbert 43 yard field goal, missed the second you saw that
- 2:54ball, you're just thinking, OK, Georgia didn't feel like they
- 2:59deserve to win this game. It's going to go to overtime.
- 3:02George is going to win the game. And that's exactly what happened
- 3:05there. Tennessee kicks a field goal in
- 3:08overtime, Georgia gets the ball. Boom, nice run.
- 3:13Nate Frazier, 21 yards and then you have the one yard touchdown
- 3:17run. Josh McRae, Bing bang, boom,
- 3:19Georgia beats Tennessee. The stadium looked awesome.
- 3:234441. You thought maybe, maybe this is
- 3:27Tennessee's year versus Georgia. To me, Georgia, Kirby Smart, one
- 3:34of those teams, they're just hard to kill, hard to kill.
- 3:37The game that comes to mind for me, Ohio State fan go back about
- 3:41what, three years now, 2022, it was the national championship
- 3:47game, semi finals. So College football playoffs
- 3:49semi finals. Remember that game you had Ohio
- 3:53State beating Georgia, had him beat that whole game.
- 3:58Remember Marvin? Marvin Harrison junior gets
- 4:01knocked out with a concussion late in the game.
- 4:03Ohio State has a field goal try. I think it was something right
- 4:06around 50 yards. Whatever it is, that ball wasn't
- 4:08even close and Georgia holds on. Georgia beats Ohio State.
- 4:13Georgia goes on to absolutely just destroy TCU.
- 4:17What was that score? 65, seven, something crazy like
- 4:19that and win the national championship.
- 4:22So I give, I give Georgia all the respect in the world.
- 4:25By the way, there was another game during that run.
- 4:28So either 22 or 23, Correct me if I'm wrong.
- 4:32Where Mizzou? I'm watching this game.
- 4:34Mizzou had Georgia beat. You thought the whole game
- 4:37Mizzou was up 10 points, 13, whatever it was, it never got to
- 4:41be over 2 touchdowns. But Mizzou was up I think 10 or
- 4:45something like that. And just Georgia hung around
- 4:49just enough to win that game. You got to give Kirby Smart all
- 4:53the credit in the world. You got to beat them.
- 4:55You have to beat Georgia. And a win against Georgia is
- 4:58very impressive. So it didn't happen for
- 5:01Tennessee and the Volunteers thought it might.
- 5:04No dice. Maybe it's next year for
- 5:06Tennessee. Georgia moves on.
- 5:08Georgia 3 and O, they're now ranked 6th in the country.
- 5:11Tennessee falls to two and one they drop to 15th in the
- 5:15country. OK, let's kind of jump around a
- 5:18little bit. College football, we're going to
- 5:19talk some. NFL we're going to talk some.
- 5:21Baseball we're going to talk some.
- 5:25We're going to talk Robert Redford, RIP.
- 5:27We're going to talk about Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire.
- 5:31The Bash Brothers are back. But just real quick, I only
- 5:35bring this up because I was tweeting with my buddy at my
- 5:38buddy Colebartemus about Notre Dame and people were joking
- 5:42about is Notre Dame the only team that could be O and two,
- 5:46have no wins and they're still ranked in the top 25.
- 5:49Notre Dame O and two, they dropped 16 spots.
- 5:52They're #24 in the AP poll, Notre Dame dropped 13 spots.
- 5:57They are 21 in the coaches poll. And you know what?
- 6:01I really don't have a problem with this.
- 6:03I really don't because at the time you'll lose at Miami True
- 6:09Rd. game on a last second field goal, whatever it was.
- 6:14You lose 2724 at Miami, Miami ranked 10th at the time, 3 point
- 6:20game. And then you lose to Texas A&M
- 6:22by 1.4140. Texas A&M at the time ranked
- 6:2616th. So I joke and I've done a video
- 6:30on this channel about how Notre Dame is always overrated.
- 6:34Now if there any other team, are they still ranked in the top 25
- 6:38if they're not a brand like Notre Dame or or someone else?
- 6:41Notre Dame's not the only brand that gets overrated.
- 6:44For years we saw Texas was always overrated in my opinion
- 6:47at the beginning of the year because of their brand.
- 6:49Texas is good now, although we should probably talk more about
- 6:52Arch Manning. Maybe we'll do that next week.
- 6:55But my point is this doesn't bother me at all.
- 6:58If you're Notre Dame, you've lost a three-point true Rd. game
- 7:03at #4 Miami, Miami's ranked #4 in the AP poll.
- 7:07Miami is ranked number six in the coaches poll and you lost a
- 7:11one point game versus 3 and O Texas A&M.
- 7:15Texas A&M ranked 10th in the AP poll.
- 7:19Texas A&M ranked 10th in the coaches poll.
- 7:22So it's fair Notre Dame also, they're coming off a runner up
- 7:27finish in the College Football Playoff.
- 7:29Notre Dame is legit very very tough opening couple weeks
- 7:34schedule for the Fighting Irish. I appreciate you guys watching
- 7:39here. We do have a viewer live.
- 7:41This is a new channel trying to grow the channel, but all my
- 7:45fantastic friends on the Kenny Wallace Media podcast will
- 7:48hopefully be enjoying this as well.
- 7:51One more thing about college football.
- 7:55Just because I said I I checked in on the Buckeyes and I just
- 7:59have no interest in watching them play Ohio, although Ohio
- 8:03was right there in terms of covering the spread.
- 8:05I saw it was like 29 1/2. I don't know if it ended at 27
- 8:091/2. Whatever number you got, it was
- 8:11very close. Ohio State won by 28 points.
- 8:17So Buckeyes 3 and O, they're ranked number one in the
- 8:20country, obviously, but I do want to give some credit to the
- 8:24Ohio University Bobcats. Got a lot of friends that went
- 8:27to Ohio U great broadcasting school.
- 8:30Mike Schmidt went to Ohio U And I only bring this up because I
- 8:35saw that spread and I was like, Dang, Ohio State is only favored
- 8:41by about 29 1/2, whatever the number ended up being against
- 8:45Ohio U. But then I I went and looked at
- 8:48Ohio U schedule. Give them credit, man.
- 8:50Look at the Ohio U, the Bobcats out of the Mac, the Mid American
- 8:54Conference. Their first three games of the
- 8:57season, they're two and one. They lost by only three points
- 9:02at Rutgers, a Big 10 opponent. They beat West Virginia, West
- 9:09Virginia 1710, they beat West Virginia, Ohio U, beat West
- 9:16Virginia 1710. Obviously taken down a Big 12
- 9:20opponent and then you get smoked by Ohio State, but still you
- 9:25keep it right around the spread 37 to 9.
- 9:28So look, I have a lot of respect for a school like Ohio U and I
- 9:33grew up right there in the heart of the Mack.
- 9:35I grew up in Toledo going to Toledo Rockets basketball,
- 9:39football games at the Glass Bowl.
- 9:41My dad and my brother both went to Bowling Green State
- 9:44University. Shout out Eddie George, now the
- 9:47head football coach at Bowling Green BG, which is awesome.
- 9:50So what I'm saying is I grew up watching Mac games, Toledo BG,
- 9:55going up to Cobo Hall, Detroit for the basketball tournament,
- 9:58watching all kinds of football games.
- 10:00I got a lot of love for the Mac matching Thursday night, random
- 10:03weird games Wednesday, Tuesday, gambling over the years, Ben
- 10:07Roethlisberger for Miami of Ohio, the list goes on and on
- 10:11and on. Shout out Ohio U though for
- 10:14their early season schedule, going two and one, beating West
- 10:18Virginia, losing by only three at Rutgers and basically keeping
- 10:22it right there and covering against the number one team in
- 10:26the land, Ohio State in Columbus.
- 10:29That's pretty impressive. All right, if you are watching
- 10:33live, jump in on the chat. So there you go, our college
- 10:37football talk. Let me take a drink of water
- 10:38real quick. That's like my Kenny Wallace
- 10:42coffee with Kenny Paws. OK, so we did about 10 minutes
- 10:47on college football NFL, and I want to hear from you guys, too
- 10:51in the comments. It bothers me, but I just got no
- 10:54love for the NFL. And I'm going to blame Saint
- 10:57Louis. I'm going to blame the Rams.
- 10:59I play fantasy football. I'm interested from that
- 11:02standpoint. I'll be interested when the
- 11:04playoffs start. Of course, I'll watch the AFCNFC
- 11:08championship games, I'll watch the Super Bowl.
- 11:10But it's one of those things, I just think it's really hard when
- 11:15you're older to to become a fan of a new team.
- 11:20To me, it's impossible, right? Like you can't manufacture that.
- 11:24That's why the reason I'm an Ohio State football fan.
- 11:28Yeah, they're really good. But I've been a fan since I was
- 11:29a kid and they've always been good.
- 11:32They kept me interested, not going to lie.
- 11:35I started off more so a fan of Ohio State basketball back in
- 11:38the day, 9192 Jimmie Jackson playing against Michigan and the
- 11:43Fab 5. And just kind of over the years,
- 11:47I kind of fell out of the fandom with basketball, even though the
- 11:51team is has been really good, not as great lately.
- 11:55But I mean, those years with Thad Mata and Greg Oden, they
- 11:58were really, really good. But maybe it's also you have
- 12:00kids, you're busy, you can't follow as much sports.
- 12:03I've I've stuck an Ohio State football fan.
- 12:06You know, I was a big Detroit Pistons fan, one of my favorite
- 12:08teams of all time, 2004 Pistons. They win the NBA championship.
- 12:13I had just graduated college that whole summer back home in
- 12:17Ohio, real close to Detroit, about an hour from Detroit,
- 12:21watching all those playoff games at the bars with my buddies.
- 12:25Then also, maybe this is me being a bandwagon fan.
- 12:28I feel like after that the Pistons kind of fell off, LeBron
- 12:32took over, I moved to Saint Louis.
- 12:34Not in NBA city on sports talk radio, not a lot of talk about
- 12:39the NBA and I kind of lost my fandom for the NBA.
- 12:43But we had the Rams here. I loved covering the Rams.
- 12:47Got to cover the Lions for a couple years when I was working
- 12:49in Lansing, even though the the Lions sucked one of the years,
- 12:53one of the years there were 79, pretty good with John Kitna.
- 12:56Whatever year that was. I believe that was O 6.
- 12:59Check me on that. O six O 7.
- 13:02Got to Saint Louis. Rams sucked.
- 13:04Scott Lenihan, Steve Spagnolo. Finally Jeff Fisher comes here.
- 13:09They're decent. They're around 500.
- 13:11The team's trying to leave. The Rams leave.
- 13:15We have no team. I was never an NFL fan growing
- 13:19up. I was kind of stuck there in
- 13:20Toledo. I had some family members who
- 13:22were Cleveland Browns fans. The Browns leave.
- 13:25It was fun watching Barry Sanders and the Lions.
- 13:27But again, I was always more of a college football fan, so it
- 13:32stinks. Like I watch people getting
- 13:34excited about the NFL. It's fun to go to bars in
- 13:37college. Post college.
- 13:38Used to love to go up to Chicago with my buddies and watch Bears
- 13:41games and go to the bars and just freaking drink all Sunday
- 13:46all the way from the noon game to Sunday Night Football and
- 13:49hang out. Love those experiences.
- 13:51But I don't have an NFL team and I just don't care and it stinks.
- 13:56Maybe I need to gamble more. Maybe I need to gamble more to
- 13:59get me interested. OK by the way, while I'm I'm
- 14:03bringing this picture up, Saint Louis, please support my Saint
- 14:07Louis area sponsors Triad Bank. Triad Bank.
- 14:10Best thing I ever did for my rental property business.
- 14:12Taking all my commercial loans from a big National Bank that
- 14:15didn't care about me to a local bank.
- 14:17Triad Bank. Hit up my guy Matthew Tobin.
- 14:20I got like 3 loans with Triad bank.
- 14:23Got a line of credit off the house where I was able to
- 14:25reinvest that into the rental property business.
- 14:28It is relationship based banking.
- 14:30Best decision I ever made. I can't recommend Triad bank
- 14:33enough. I go to the location over there
- 14:36in Frontenac. They also have one in Creve
- 14:38Core. OK, I got to show this picture
- 14:41for people watching on YouTube and for people who are on
- 14:44podcast. I'll explain it.
- 14:46You got a picture of Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire in
- 14:51their green jackets doing the Bash Brothers pose.
- 14:55And I saw this man and it brought back so many freaking
- 14:58memories for me. And I tweeted it out and here's
- 15:02what I wrote. I said these dudes, these dudes
- 15:07got me into baseball. My family, they were all Tigers
- 15:10fans, but the A's were too cool for a kid to ignore in the late
- 15:1580s and that is so true. Jose Canseco, Mark McGuire,
- 15:20before you knew anything about steroids and all that.
- 15:24I was born in 82 and again, my family were Tigers fans.
- 15:28Tigers won it all in 84. I was 2.
- 15:30Don't remember. Tigers were great in 87.
- 15:33Tigers were pretty good in 88. But I remember having the Panini
- 15:37sticker book, the baseball cards.
- 15:41You had Jose Canseco, Rookie of the year in 86, McGuire Rookie
- 15:45of the year in 87. McGuire hits 49 bombs. 88 is the
- 15:514040 year for Jose Canseco. They lose to the Dodgers,
- 15:55obviously, with Kirk Gibson in the World Series. 89, they win
- 15:59the World Series against San Francisco, the Giants, and of
- 16:02course the Earthquake World Series 1990, they're facing
- 16:08Marge Schott and the Reds. They get swept by the Reds.
- 16:11A lot of people surprised about that even. 91 going back to the
- 16:16Tigers, that was the Cecil Fielder versus Jose Canseco home
- 16:20run race, I believe. I think Cecil finished with 51,
- 16:24maybe Canseco 44. Don't quote me on that, but I
- 16:28was tweeting this out and some people said, man, as a kid, the
- 16:32posters you'd get at the book fair and this was the poster
- 16:34they're talking about. Iconic again for people
- 16:37listening on podcast, that iconic Bash Brothers, they're
- 16:42sitting on the car like the Blues Brothers.
- 16:44They got their suits on, they got their hats like the Blues
- 16:47Brothers, they got the big bats, they got the sunglasses and it
- 16:50just says the Bash Brothers. That was so bad ass back in the
- 16:54day. We all had that poster or the
- 16:56baseball cards, whatever it is. And then I can't remember the
- 16:59timeline. I interviewed Mark McGuire a lot
- 17:03when he was the hitting coach of the Cardinals.
- 17:05But but obviously when the book came out from Canseco juiced and
- 17:08then vindicated, he threw everybody on the bus about
- 17:12steroids and Mark McGwire. And I'm sure there was bad
- 17:14blood. I don't remember.
- 17:15This was what, 1517 years ago? I don't remember everything that
- 17:18happened. I'm sure they're all mad.
- 17:19Back then, Canseco proved to be accurate.
- 17:23Let's be honest. They were all juice and they're
- 17:24all probably shooting each other up.
- 17:27And I'm not saying that was all good, but man, the memories were
- 17:29great. And I'm I'm the type of person
- 17:31where time heals all wounds. So for me, my favorite player
- 17:36was Jose Canseco. My favorite numbers 33 because
- 17:39of Jose Canseco. If you went back to my parents
- 17:41house, you would find books full of Canseco baseball cards.
- 17:45I had every freaking Canseco baseball card.
- 17:47If he was on the cover of a magazine, I had that magazine
- 17:50posters on the wall. Canseco was my guy.
- 17:53So this brought me back man to when I was like 678910 years old
- 17:57to see that picture. They both look good, they both
- 18:01look healthy, they both look happy.
- 18:03Let's let bygones be bygones. You know, I'm not going to have
- 18:06the debate about the Hall of Fame and all that, but just that
- 18:08brought back memories for me as a kid who just loved Canseco,
- 18:12love the A's and love the Bash Brothers because they were so
- 18:15freaking cool. Ricky Henderson with the batting
- 18:18gloves, with the fluorescent batting gloves.
- 18:20And again, I grew up an hour from Detroit.
- 18:24Tigers weren't very good when I was a kid, but again, it was
- 18:27hard to ignore the Oakland A's for people that don't know, for
- 18:31younger people that weren't around how cool the freaking A's
- 18:34were back then again, Ricky Henderson, Dave Henderson, Jose
- 18:37Canseco, Mark McGuire, Carney Lansford.
- 18:40Walt Weiss Won the Rookie of the Year, won 88.
- 18:43You had Dave Stewart, intimidating starting pitcher.
- 18:46You had Bob Welch won 27 games. You had Dennis Ackersley, the
- 18:50first real amazing closer, where where Tony Larussa kind of
- 18:56changed the game in terms of how he set up his bullpen and all
- 18:59that. The A's were a freaking
- 19:01juggernaut. Man won one World Series,
- 19:03probably should have won more, but God darn, that picture
- 19:06brought back memories for me. OK, some sad news.
- 19:11We're just bouncing all around. We're just bouncing all around.
- 19:14Robert Redford passes away today at the age of what was he 89
- 19:24years old, Born in Santa Monica, CA August 18th, 1936 dies in
- 19:29Sundance, Utah The Sundance Kid Bush Cassidy and the Sundance
- 19:33Kid star dies in Sundance, Utah at the age of 89.
- 19:39So because we're talking sports, obviously the first one that
- 19:43jumps out is Roy Hobbs and the natural, just iconic sports
- 19:47movie, iconic baseball movie. Robert Redford's one of those
- 19:52guys too, where for me, I got to kind of go through, I got to go
- 19:57through his his movie roles and kind of remember there were so
- 20:02many good ones. I mean, it started out way
- 20:05before my time. I'm going to try to find I'm
- 20:09going to try to find a list. We got to find a list of of all
- 20:13of his movies That would be easiest for me.
- 20:18All right, let's just go. We'll we'll go to the top of
- 20:22Wikipedia. We got what started in TV
- 20:25Twilight Zone, OK, movie roles are they list early on the way
- 20:30we were three days of the Condor all the President's Men.
- 20:36That was about Watergate. I've never seen that movie and I
- 20:40should. I absolutely should.
- 20:44The Electric Horseman. Brubaker.
- 20:45The natural was 1984, two years after I was born.
- 20:48Iconic sports movie. Roy Hobbs hitting the cover off
- 20:52the ball out of Africa sneakers. All is lost.
- 20:57Truth. Our souls at night.
- 20:59The old man in the gun. He was an Avengers end game
- 21:022019. I did not know that he was in
- 21:06quiz show. I don't remember him being in
- 21:09quiz show. The Legend of Bagger Vance,
- 21:12Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
- 21:15I remember that one. That's a great movie.
- 21:17Let me just go to Robert Redford movies list.
- 21:21That'll be easier. I thought that would be on
- 21:23Wikipedia. Robert Redford filmography.
- 21:26OK, I'll just read off kind of some of the big ones.
- 21:30I'm sure I'm missing some of these because look, I'm in his
- 21:33first movie, 1960, Tall story, 1960s, his first freaking movie.
- 21:39OK, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
- 21:43He was the Sundance Kid. That was 1969.
- 21:48The Sting, 1973. The Great Gatsby, 1974.
- 21:53I believe I've seen that. I think so.
- 21:56The Natural is 1984. Trying to think of ones I've
- 21:59seen. Oh, Indecent Proposal 1993.
- 22:03Remember that That was Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore.
- 22:07They need money and Robert Redford sleeps with Demi Moore
- 22:12for $1,000,000 and that crazy story.
- 22:15That was a good movie that came out in 1993.
- 22:18I saw that one. I feel like I watched The Horse
- 22:21Whisperer up close and personal. Let's see, I feel like I maybe
- 22:29saw that up close and personal. What else we got, we got.
- 22:35Now we're getting into 2000s. I feel like I didn't really see
- 22:38any of his movies in the 2000s, but 90's, the 90s movies for me,
- 22:46Indecent Proposal, I guess that was it.
- 22:50A lot of his great ones were in the 70s.
- 22:53So there you go. What's your favorite Robert
- 22:56Redford movie? The first one that jumps out for
- 22:58me is The Natural. I forgot about Indecent Proposal
- 23:05and some of these older ones. I got to watch them.
- 23:07I mean, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is great.
- 23:09I haven't watched that in a while.
- 23:11I'm pretty sure I saw the version of The Great Gatsby with
- 23:14Robert Redford and then I got to watch All the President's Men
- 23:18for sure. That's on me.
- 23:20All right, thoughts on Robert Redford?
- 23:22Drop him in the comments. OK.
- 23:26Also want to mention real quick, another one of my Saint Louis
- 23:28area sponsors, St. Louis Lawn Care, Saint Louis
- 23:31Equipment. I actually waited to do this
- 23:34live stream this podcast because they're out there doing aeration
- 23:38and overseeding of my yard and because the machines were going
- 23:43kind of loud, which is all good. I waited till the noise
- 23:47dissipated to do this podcast. But Saint Louis Lawn Care for
- 23:51all your lawn care needs. They've been cutting my grass
- 23:52for about 3-4 years. They do mulch, mosquito and bug
- 23:55control. They do any type of landscaping.
- 23:59They planted a bunch of boxwoods.
- 24:01They planted what a big juniper, some Arbor Vita for me and then
- 24:05also Saint Louis equipment. Let me bring up this e-mail real
- 24:08quick. They'll fix your mower.
- 24:11You can buy a new mower there. I've gotten small engine stuff,
- 24:15a Crest battery operated trimmer, although they don't
- 24:18carry Crest products anymore. I got a Husqvarna blower.
- 24:21I'm going to go there and get another.
- 24:23I'm going to get a battery operated blower coming up.
- 24:27They just have a brand new location, by the way, in DeSoto,
- 24:31Missouri. So for the fall OK blowers, they
- 24:35got Red Max brand Steel Echo and Husqvarna.
- 24:39As winter comes here, I'll tell you early all their snow
- 24:42products, bulk salt, bagged salt, snow plows, salt
- 24:47spreaders. Get them early before it's cold
- 24:50and it snows and they can have bulk salt delivered to you so
- 24:55you have your own salt when the time comes.
- 24:58Saint Louis lawn care aeration over seeding.
- 25:01They just did it about an hour ago.
- 25:03This service was performed today.
- 25:05Be sure to keep the seed moist until it germinates.
- 25:08Ideally, water for 10 minutes twice a day for best results.
- 25:11If you cannot water twice per day, once per day we'll be fine.
- 25:16Just make sure the ground is moist for that seed to
- 25:18germinate. The seed can take 4 to 5 weeks
- 25:21to fully germinate. You can e-mail them office at
- 25:24stllawncare.com. Give them a call 314-974-5911.
- 25:29Bing bang boom. Hey thank you the one person for
- 25:31still watching. I was almost done.
- 25:33Anyway, one final thing quick story.
- 25:38I got a dumpster over the weekend.
- 25:40OK dumpster big one. We're getting some new
- 25:44furniture. I filled this thing up like, and
- 25:49I'll put a picture up here, 234 feet over the line.
- 25:53We had so many baby toys, so many vehicles.
- 25:57My kids are 7 and four. I couldn't believe how much
- 25:59stuff that I had just in the basement, in the storage room.
- 26:04I worked all day Saturday, all day Sunday filling this thing
- 26:08up. My buddy came over Sunday to
- 26:09help me move the big stuff. It was already full.
- 26:12So now I have another dumpster coming.
- 26:14The dumpster company said, look, we're not going to take that.
- 26:15It's a safety hazard. Big pieces of furniture be
- 26:18falling on people in the street. So I got another dumpster coming
- 26:22to put next to the dumpster. I have to get in the dumpster on
- 26:25top and move all of the overflow into the other dumpster.
- 26:29So I've been dumpstering, dumpster diving.
- 26:33And so here's what I'm going to tell you.
- 26:34First of all, getting a dumpster every couple years.
- 26:36Best thing you'll ever do. By the way, should I donate it
- 26:38all to Goodwill and take everything?
- 26:41And yes, I should, But sometimes you just got to purge, man.
- 26:44And this weekend it was just straight up purge.
- 26:47But get a dumpster every couple years.
- 26:50Clear out all these things. You won't trip over toys.
- 26:53Give them away to Goodwill. Whatever it is.
- 26:55You'll you'll have less anxiety with less stuff in your house.
- 26:59It's absolutely the thing to do. But again, it's better if you
- 27:05want to just, you know, Goodwill.
- 27:07Don't do what I'm doing is what I'm trying to say.
- 27:09Do it every month. Every month, take a bag, Take a
- 27:12bag to Google. Every month, take a bag to a
- 27:14dumpster. Don't make it where after a
- 27:17couple years you have to get 2 freaking dumpsters to get
- 27:20everything out of your house. But man, when this is done, I'm
- 27:23just going to feel so much better.
- 27:26So much better about how everything is my house is clean
- 27:30and empty and Feng shui and being a minimalist, that's what
- 27:34I'm all about. All right there you go.
