- 0:27Every mother trusts the food she feeds that her family is safe until it isn't.
- 0:32Could the food on your family's dinner table be making you and your children sick?
- 0:36Today we're digging into the truth behind GMOs, glyphosate and the chemical cocktail that's hidden in America's food supply with the founder of Moms Across America, Zen Honeycut.
- 0:48Welcome to the 10 Penny Files, everyone.
- 0:50I'm your host, Dr.

- 2:04I'm sincerely grateful that you're here.
- 2:07Now, let's get started.
- 2:09Today's conversation is with founding executive director of the nonprofit moms across America, a national coalition of unstoppable moms, and the with the motto, empowered mom's healthy kids.
- 2:22Zen Honeycutt is also the author of Unstoppable, Transforming Sickness and Struggle into Triumph, Empowerment, and a Celebration of Community.
- 2:31The story of a mother who learns about the current state of our world's food supply, how it affected, how it affects your dinner table, and how it affects your health and everyone you love.
- 2:42Zen, welcome to the show.
- 2:43I'm so grateful to have you here today.
- 2:45We've been trying to make this happen for a while.
- 2:47And it finally did.
- 2:48Thank you for joining me.
- 2:50Thank you, Sherry.
- 2:51I'm thrilled to be here.
- 2:52And thank you to all your listeners and your team for your the support that they give you.
- 2:56I really appreciate it.
- 2:57You know, just the title of your book so defines you, unstoppable.
- 3:02I mean, that is from even before I, I mean, I knew about you long before I knew you personally.
- 3:08And it's always been who you are and what you do.
- 3:11And in the first chapter of your book, Unstoppable, you talk about the heartbreaking stories of severe food allergies that seem to become more and more pervasive in your son.
- 3:20And so that led you to alternative medicine, then the discovery of GMOs through the work of Jeffrey Smith at the response Institute for Responsible Technology, who's also a really very good friend of mine.
- 3:31How did you get to the conclusion or what led you to start looking at GMOs as the culprit in your food that were making your kids sick?
- 3:40Well, it's a great question.
- 3:41And like millions of other mothers, I was struggling with my children's allergies.
- 3:45I was completely baffled.
- 3:47I did not know why my children had up to 20 different food allergies.
- 3:51And my doctors didn't have any explanation for that.
- 3:55Neither did my mother or my friends, um, and some of my friends had kids that were allergic to, you know, strawberries, pepper, mango, apples, in addition to the usual, you know, dairy, milk, you know, you know, milk, uh, eggs, uh, wheat, uh, well, eventually wheat.
- 4:11We didn't know about wheat at that time, but um, you know, many different types of allergens were going on.
- 4:16And I happened to see a Facebook post with Robin O'Brien talking on her TED Talk, Patriotism on a Plate.
- 4:24And she talked about how her kid sort of blew up like a raspberry, just like my son did from an allergy from food.
- 4:31And she, you know, she researched, and I believe it was from Jeffrey Smith.
- 4:35She learned about GMOs and the food supply.
- 4:37And uh, we, you know, all of us started putting two and two together and saying, wait a second, it's not our kids.
- 4:42It's the food.
- 4:43And it's not even actually really the food, it's what's been done to the food, right?
- 4:47Because I mean, people have been eating, you you can see in the Bible, 60 to 70% of the food that people ate it during the biblical times were were grains.
- 4:56You know, grains aren't actually evil, right?
- 4:58They it's what's been done to them.
- 5:00They've been hybridized and they've been sprayed with glyphosate, and you know, we'll talk all more about what's happened with our food supply.
- 5:07But that's what sparked it was a post on social media and another fellow mom talking about her kids' allergies.
- 5:14And then I, you know, watched that, and then I watched Genetic Roulette by Jeffrey Smith.
- 5:18I read a bunch of books.
- 5:19I went to GMO for USA.
- 5:21Um, you know, it was community science and people sharing their personal stories that made a difference for me, much like the vaccine movement that I learned about, you know, probably nine years after that, or not nine years, a couple years after that.
- 5:36So um, it was really um other people sharing what has happened with the food supply and uh realizing that you know nobody else was going to figure this out for me.
- 5:48You know, the saying goes, a worried mom does better research than the FBI.
- 5:52Yeah, took that on and started doing the research and and reading the science and and came to that conclusion that definitely glyphosate and GMOs contributed to my son's health issues.
- 6:04I later on did realize that giving them vaccines was uh a contributing factor as well.
- 6:10I gave especially my oldest son almost all of the vaccines I trusted my doctor.
- 6:14And um, you know, of course I'm very regretful about that, but uh that is that is what people were doing at the time was trusting their doctors.
- 6:23You know, in your unstoppable style, right out of the box, as soon as you started finding out about these terrible things they're doing to your food, you you said in your book, you you said this quote, I wanted to solve the problem.
- 6:38I wanted, I wanted the problem not to happen in the first place.
- 6:42I wanted to transform our food supply.
- 6:46I mean, that is such a powerful statement for a mom that just like you know, grit your teeth, and you have been charging forward with that ever since.
- 6:55Yes, yeah, I came to this realization that you know it wasn't, it wasn't what I was committed to to wait for somebody else to do it, right?
- 7:00It wasn't what I was committed to to wait for somebody else to do it, right?
- 7:03To wait for Robin O'Brien or Jeffrey Smith or Pam Larry, who started the GMO labeling movement to wait for somebody else to do something about it.
- 7:03To wait for Robin O'Brien or Jeffrey Smith or Pam Larry, who started the GMO labeling movement, to wait for somebody else to do something about it.
- 7:11I had the realization, wait a second, what if I said I'm the one to transform the food industry and health in America and beyond?
- 7:11I had the realization wait a second, what if I said I'm the one to transform the food industry and health in America and beyond?
- 7:19And I don't mean like ego, like you know, getting credit for it.
- 7:19And I don't mean like ego, like, you know, getting credit for it.
- 7:22I just mean I'm not gonna wait for somebody else to do it.
- 7:22I just mean I'm not going to wait for somebody else to do it.
- 7:25It's up to me.
- 7:25It's up to me.
- 7:26It's my job.
- 7:26It's my job, you know, like Aaron Brockovich says Superman's not coming to save it.
- 7:26You know, like Aaron Brockovich says, Superman's not coming to save us, right?
- 7:30He's Superman's not coming.
- 7:31That's the name of her book.
- 7:32So I decided to take on, I would do whatever it was that I could do, you know, to be a part of transforming the food supply.
- 7:40And one thing I'm willing to do is research and learn and do public speaking.
- 7:45I actually quite enjoy it.
- 7:46I love connecting with people.
- 7:48And I love telling stories and, you know, of course, you know, anecdotal and factual stories and sharing facts.
- 7:55And I I can tell you all kinds of things about glyphosate now and GMOs for for hours.
- 8:01I couldn't tell you what the song was that that's playing on the radio, right?
- 8:04Even if I've heard it a hundred times.
- 8:05I don't know who who did that, but I could tell you about glyphosate.
- 8:08So I've, you know, I took that on and um, and I and it's partially because when I when I took on just passing out flyers or right, I for GMO labeling initiative, Prop 37 in California.
- 8:22Um, I when I learned watch the movie Genetic Roulette, like with a bunch of people at Mother's Market, you know, once I heard about it, I wanted to sort of find community.
- 8:29And I saw on a Facebook post that he was showing that movie.
- 8:32And they asked me to get involved.
- 8:34And so I passed out flyers at a farmer's market, even though I never been an activist before.
- 8:39I thought they were too much patchouli and were fuss budgets, right?
- 8:42I just tried to avoid them.
- 8:43They was not cool back then to be an activist.
- 8:45But I passed out flyers at the farmers market.
- 8:48And afterwards, at the you know, election night when we were going to find out whether or not we won, the leader of that area, the the Orange County leader, I was living in California at the time, was acknowledging acknowledging everybody who had volunteered.
- 9:03And I thought about what I did.
- 9:04You know, I sort of assessed it.
- 9:05And I, you know, so it was good.
- 9:07I passed out flyers.
- 9:08I'm proud of myself.
- 9:08And then I thought, well, hang on a second, how come I'm in the back row and she's up front as a leader?
- 9:13Like nothing wrong with that, but just I noticed she took on leadership.
- 9:17I did not.
- 9:18And my actions definitely would have been different if I had taken on leadership, right?
- 9:22You hold yourself to account, you you have meetings, you organize people, you're you're just you there's just different actions.
- 9:29So I thought, well, what if I did take on leadership?
- 9:33Right?
- 9:33What would happen from now on going forward?
- 9:36What would what could I create if I said, again, I'm the one to transform the food industry?
- 9:40So then I thought about it.
- 9:42I was just in the inquiry, and um I went out to the car and cried when we found out we lost, right?
- 9:48My whole family was with me, and my son Ben, who was nine at the time, said, Well, you know, mom, even Star Wars took six episodes.
- 9:55And I was like, yeah.
- 9:58And they had Yoda.
- 10:00They had a magical being and it took six episodes.
- 10:02Apparently now 12 episodes, right?
- 10:04To fight the evildoers.
- 10:06And and so I took on, well, what if, you know, what if it's just time for a new episode?
- 10:10And what if I took on leadership?
- 10:12And so I the next day, I have another story about that.
- 10:15But I I I thought about uh what could I do to raise awareness with as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time?
- 10:23And it was a white light moment.
- 10:25It was really like God was dropping it in to me.
- 10:27I'm it's on, I can't take credit for it.
- 10:29I just saw um a group of moms with banners saying moms across America march to label GMOs in Fourth of July parades.
- 10:37And so that's what we did.
- 10:38Yeah.
- 10:38And I I put the word out, created a Facebook page and a website, and within three months, we had a reach on Facebook of over 300,000 a week.
- 10:48And uh we had 179 groups join into parades in 37 states and reached thousands locally and millions nationally in a single day, and went on to have 600 leaders create over a thousand events in the next five years and you know, many more after that.
- 11:05Um so it's been incredible.
- 11:07It's been a movement that just has taken off.
- 11:09I had no intention of starting a nonprofit, you know.
- 11:11I don't have training for that.
- 11:12I'm a former fashion designer and an entrepreneur.
- 11:15Um, but I am very creative at problem solving.
- 11:17So that has been, you know, that has been an asset.
- 11:20And um I love connecting with people and raising awareness and you know, motivating um people to take action.
- 11:27So I'm feel very, very grateful and blessed to do this work.
- 11:32You know, you kind of transitioned, uh, at least in my perception, away from um a focus on GMOs and then the the focus on glyphosate.
- 11:41Or do you still feel like they are intimately in intertwined and you can't talk about one about the other?
- 11:47Uh it seems like much of the of the conversations that you've had and the and the fights that you've had have been about glyphosate.
- 11:55Was there a transition period there, or do you still intertwine them?
- 11:59Yeah, that's a great question.
- 12:00Well, it definitely started off focused on GMOs.
- 12:02And that really was what I thought was the main culprit.
- 12:05Um, and they are very uh problematic because they're foreign proteins, right?
- 12:10But what I realized along the way was that um out of the 85 to 95 to 100% of our commodity crops that are GMOs, so that is this is a major problem.
- 12:21Our entire agriculture industry almost has been co-opted by these genetically modified organisms.
- 12:28And out of those large quantities of commodity crops that are GMO, 80% of them are engineered to withstand glyphosate.
- 12:36So glyphosate is the main conduit of sales for these GMO seeds, right?
- 12:44They're selling the GMO seeds because they're engineered to withstand glyphosate.
- 12:50So what I put together was it would be harder to go after GMOs in a sense of like testing for them and vilifying them because they just kept saying, well, there the science is not, you know, there, it's debatable.
- 13:05People kept saying GMOs are gonna feed the world.
- 13:08Like there just wasn't enough ways, weren't weren't enough ways for me to test for them and to um sort of prove that GMOs were bad.
- 13:16There just weren't enough studies at the time to really show that there were a couple that were very damning, you know, that the tumors had been formed and all of that.
- 13:23But I knew that glyphosate, a pesticide could very easily be targeted as something that's not good for us because everybody knows that pesticides kill things.
- 13:33It's a side, just like homicide, suicide, you know, herbicide, right?
- 13:37That there it's a it kills things.
- 13:38That is the definition of what it does.
- 13:40So for me, it was just sort of common sense to go after glyphosate.
- 13:44And then I, you know, to be honest with you, I thought, well, if we can get rid of this this pesticide or or herbicide, it's technically, you know, an herbicide, but they call it a pesticide, is because it's a category.
- 13:54If we can get rid of this pesticide, get it banned because DDT and PCBs have been banned, right?
- 13:59Then we knock out 80% of the GMOs too, right?
- 14:00We knock out 80% of the GMOs too, right?
- 14:03Because if they're genetically engineered to withstand glyphosate and all of a sudden you don't have glyphosate, then they won't be able to use those 80% of GMOs.
- 14:03Because if they're genetically engineered to withstand glyphosate and all of a sudden you don't have glyphosate, then they won't be able to use those 80% of GMOs.
- 14:10So initially I went after glyphosate in order to get rid of GMOs.
- 14:10So initially I went after glyphosate in order to get rid of GMOs.
- 14:14And and I asked Pam Larry at the time, is anybody else talking about glyphosate?
- 14:14And I asked Pam Larry at the time, is anybody else talking about glyphosate?
- 14:19And she's like, well, really, it's just, it's just like um, you know, Jeffrey Smith and um Anthony Samsell and Stephanie Senneth and Don Huber were talking about glyphosate.
- 14:19And she's like, well, really, it's just, it's just like, you know, Jeffrey Smith and Anthony Samstell and Stephanie Seneth and Don Huber were talking about glyphosate.
- 14:29How
- 14:29Howard Vligger was talking about it a little bit too, but there weren't many people talking about it.
- 14:34There were a few uh um pesticide focused nonprofits, like um beyond pesticides that talked about it and and pesticide action network, but they focused on butterflies and bees and the you know the impact that glyphosate had on the environment.
- 14:50No one else was talking about the impact of glyphosate on our children.
- 14:55And so I decided to take that on.
- 14:57And I made um I I actually created for myself to be Monsanto's worst nightmare, and and to, you know, get glyphosate banned.
- 15:06And uh a lot of progress has happened.
- 15:09It's not banned, but it has been restricted or banned in 60 countries since we've started our work.
- 15:14Um the Monsanto campus is now gone.
- 15:17They've had to sell off their hanger and they've had to sell Monsanto to Bear, which is now a German company you know, German company, bear bought Monsanto.
- 15:25And um, and there's been hundreds, you know, over a hundred and I think 60,000 lawsuits against Monsanto for the causation of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in relation to their products.
- 15:37So uh, and also we successfully petitioned Costco to remove glyphosate-based herbicides, and they did.
- 15:44And now they have another one back in there, which is diquat-based, which is even more toxic.
- 15:49So it's it's like playing whack-a-mole with these chemical companies, um, as I'm sure you're very familiar with the vaccine industry, they just keep coming and they just keep spending millions and millions of dollars to lie to the public to manipulate our legislators to uh change laws.
- 16:05It's it's uh it's relentless.
- 16:08But I wrote a book called Unstoppable, so I have to keep going.
- 16:12So, you know, it's not something that I can just sit back and say, you know, I'm not I'm not gonna do this anymore.
- 16:18We we have to keep going, and and there is a lot of progress.
- 16:21So I'm glad I'm glad we're doing it.
- 16:23Yeah, very much so.
- 16:24You know, you you mentioned in passing about the testing, and that you could test for pesticides, and you found out about testing for glyphosate testing and found that you know, your kids' levels were very, very high, and that's now available to the public, I believe.
- 16:40Uh so tell us a little bit about the testing and how people can get the test and test themselves and their families if they so choose.
- 16:48Yeah, absolutely.
- 16:48Well, on our website, at Moms Across America under resources.
- 16:52If you if you hover over that uh, you know, drop down, you'll see get testing as one of the top tools that says there.
- 16:59And so you can get yourself tested, your urine tested for glyphosate.
- 17:03But what moms across America did was um, you know, when I decided to go after glyphosate, and I heard in a GMO panel where they're promoting GMOs that their biggest problem were these mom bloggers who are going getting taking their kids off GMOs and going organic, and they're perpetrating a fraud on the American people by saying that our kids get better when they go organic, that we don't have any evidence.
- 17:23So I said, ding, we have to get evidence, right?
- 17:25Use what they're saying against them is what a very common tactic by Sun Zoo, right?
- 17:29The art of war.
- 17:30Yep.
- 17:31Um, so so I did that and bugged a farmer friend of mine for almost a year to find a lab that would test for glyphosate, and he did.
- 17:38It was a friend of his that used to work at Monsanto.
- 17:41And so this lab lab owner developed the glyphosate testing with Monsanto.
- 17:46And he had worked there for close to 30 years.
- 17:48So he knew what he was doing, and he helped me because he knew what glyphosate what Monsanto was doing, right?
- 17:53He knew the skeletons in their closet, and he wanted to do some good.
- 17:57So this is why I say never, never discount somebody because they have a past history with pharmaceutical companies or or pesticide companies.
- 18:06They could be getting a position because they want to do good, right?
- 18:10So I try not to do that.
- 18:12I'm a little skeptical about the current pick right now for CDC.
- 18:15You know, I have a lot of skepticism about that, but some people might be getting in a position because they they want to do good.
- 18:20Anyway, we did initiated the first glyphosate testing through him for uh tap water, urine, and breast milk.
- 18:26Found levels of glyphosate 3,000 times higher in breast milk than has been shown to cause sex hormone changes and liver and kidney damage.
- 18:35Really horrific.
- 18:36And then we went on to test beer and wine and orange juice.
- 18:40Um, other groups tested snacks and goldfish and Cheerios and all kinds of things were tested, thousands of foods now have been tested for glyphosate.
- 18:49Pretty much every lab in America, I'm very proud of that, is now testing for glyphosate.
- 18:54Um, you can get your urine tested for glyphosate.
- 18:56You can support us to test more foods.
- 18:59We have tested um school lunches, fast food, gluten-free food, Girl Scout cookies, baby formula, and most recently military food, and not just for glyphosate.
- 19:09We also expanded to test for um about 286 pesticides.
- 19:14And we're finding anywhere from 29, 27 pesticides in fast food in school lunches to 62 pesticides in military food.
- 19:22The highest amount is in our military food, the people that we have, you know, trusted and that who they have taken on to protect us with their lives.
- 19:32We're feeding them the highest amount of pesticides.
- 19:34And 100% of those pesticides, by the way, Sherry, are made in China.
- 19:38I'm very uncomfortable with this, that we are paying China 15 to 20 billion dollars a year to basically poison our military with, you know, endocrine disrupting chemicals, carcinogenic chemicals, neurotoxic chemicals.
- 19:51Um, so we're finding some very uh high levels of toxins.
- 19:55In fact, the lab owner said that there are more toxins in fast food and school lunches than there were nutrients.
- 20:02Wow.
- 20:03Yeah, that's really despicable.
- 20:05Really so then the follow-up question to that is if you get tested.
- 20:09I mean, if you get if you test the food, you can kind of avoid the food and eat organic and grow your own food and at least migrate in that direction if you can't do a complete leap.
- 20:19You, you know, even a little bit is better.
- 20:21But if you get tested and you find out that the glyphosate levels in your body are really high, what do you do to eliminate it?
- 20:27Well, eating organic is is the first thing to do.
- 20:30Um, but some organic food can be contaminated, for instance, protein powders were found to be highly contaminated with glyphosate because of fraudulent labeling, right?
- 20:39That the peas or the soy that's in the protein powder is usually coming from another country and they fraudulently label it organic.
- 20:45So I would stay away from all my in my opinion, all protein powders.
- 20:49I haven't found one that has not tested yet, you know, for yeah.
- 20:53So um, and that would be protein bars, you know, as well.
- 20:56But if you eat organic whole foods, it's very uh unlikely it's going to be contaminated with glyphosate, very, very low levels.
- 21:00Uh unlikely it's going to be contaminated with glyphosate, very, very low levels.
- 21:04Anything processed is more likely to.
- 21:04Anything processed is more likely to.
- 21:06So you do that.
- 21:06So you do that, you do saunas, what one 20 minute sauna can equal a month's worth of detox.
- 21:07You do saunas, what one 20-minute sauna can equal a month's worth of detox.
- 21:12If you are going to do detox supplements, I recommend cell core.
- 21:12If you are going to do detox supplements, I recommend cell core.
- 21:15I don't get paid to say this.
- 21:15I don't get paid to say this.
- 21:16It's just I that's one that I really trust.
- 21:16It's just I that's one that I really trust.
- 21:18You can also use app apple cider vinegar, kombucha, and sauerkraut in your meals every day that has been shown to break down glyphosate into non-toxic components in the soil.
- 21:18You can also use app apple cider vinegar, kombucha, and sauerkraut in your meals every day that has been shown to break down glyphosate into non toxic components in the soil, and we're gonna guess that it does that in our gut as well.
- 21:27And we're gonna guess that it does that in our gut as well.
- 21:30Um also it can't hurt to have those, you know, good fermented foods.
- 21:33And then um also you want to have things like bentonite clay and apples um uh sorry, bentonite clay and activated charcoal that are binders, you know, chlorella, spirulina, um, things like that, jump on a trampoline to to cleanse out your lymph nodes and um run and walk, you know, go outside, sweat, run and walk, and those are things that are common, you know, detoxing type activities you can do because we are all being exposed to glyphosate, unfortunately.
- 22:02Have you done any of the testing kind of before and after?
- 22:05Like you get a test and then you do all the things that you just mentioned, the the saunas and the rebounder and all these different things and change your diet and then do a follow-up after the fact, uh test to level glyphosate.
- 22:17Have you actually seen a difference with that?
- 22:20So I personally haven't done it for myself.
- 22:22I I know that I I mean I have been tested and I don't remember what the difference was before and after, but um my we did it on my son, and we found detectable levels of glyphosate in him that for a farmer, my middle son, he had autism symptoms at the time.
- 22:37And my doctor was telling me that he had, oh, he also was tested for very high levels of C.
- 22:42diff, gut dysbiosis, bacteria, fungus, all of that.
- 22:45And we went or completely organic with him for six weeks, and we eliminated sugar because sugar feeds the bat bad bad bacteria in the gut that glyphosate proliferate, proliferates.
- 22:55Um, glyphosate kills off the beneficial gut bacteria and allows for the proliferation of the pathogenic gut bacteria, which then tell the brain to go and attack, which kills the brain neurons, and then you've got autism symptoms, right?
- 23:06You've got lack of eye contact and stimming, and because the brain neurons are not connecting the same way that they used to.
- 23:12And that's because of an ogre overgrowth of bad gut bacteria, which is exactly what Andy Wakefield said.
- 23:17So we got rid of the glyphosate, restored his gut mic got gut lining.
- 23:22Um, and you know, we did have to give him some antibiotics and um antifungals because I didn't know better at the time, but it did work, you know, to that extent.
- 23:30We also gave him probiotics.
- 23:32And within six weeks, we retested him, and his glyphosate levels were no longer detectable, and his autism symptoms were gone.
- 23:39Wow.
- 23:40And only came back when he was eating junk food.
- 23:44And um, and it's very clear he he worked at a bakery for a little while and he called the cookies the the depression cookies.
- 23:50If he ate them, he knew he was gonna get depressed.
- 23:53So um, we have seen in our family, you know, that that's that one instance, but other groups have tested.
- 23:59There was a study done in Sweden where they tested for all kinds of pesticides, and within one to two weeks, 70 to 100% of those pesticides were eliminated.
- 24:08And there's been several studies where this has happened.
- 24:10So within one to two weeks, this is why I challenge people one to two weeks, go 100% organic, including protein powders, don't do it, just eliminate those.
- 24:18Um, and you will see significant changes in your sleep, your uh behavior, your potentially weight loss as well, um, and also um in mood and uh learning capability.
- 24:32It's it's really remarkable.
- 24:33People lose rashes, um, that go, you know, go away, headaches go away.
- 24:38There's a lot of benefits to eating organic when you can be, you know, uh really very strict about it.
- 24:44Because here's the thing you can't put a teaspoon of fuel on a fire and expect the fire to go out.
- 24:49You've got to go 100%.
- 24:50It can't be just 80% or 90%.
- 24:52It's got to be 100% organic and try that for two weeks and see how you feel.
- 24:57You know, interestingly, I've had two different landscapers at my house try to convince me to use glyphosate because it's the best weed killer, and it's and it's completely safe, and it's only been blown up and been made uh into a villain by these moms across America that are claiming it has all these things.
- 25:16And I've confronted both of them and talked about, you know, uh the all the health issues and the the and and the lawsuits and the all the different things, and they're like, um, it doesn't exist.
- 25:28Both of them.
- 25:28And the first guy, and this happened a few years ago, um, he had a um a canister that had a diluted uh glyphosate in the back that he used on a spray.
- 25:38He used a 25% solution of the glyphosate.
- 25:42He said, it's so safe you can drink it.
- 25:43And he put it on his finger and put it in his mouth.
- 25:46Oh, it's he did.
- 25:49So it's a separate.
- 25:50So there's still a lot, even as much as you've done and and all the things that have happened across America and all the things that moms across America has done and the power that you've done, that people still believe it's not true.
- 26:03Yeah, it's it's it's yeah, it's very sad.
- 26:06They they have for 40 years now been selling this product, so they really have entrenched our society with that.
- 26:12I mean, even back when I was a kid, I was probably about 12 years old.
- 26:16My dad told me to pull out the weeds of a pond.
- 26:18I lived in Connecticut.
- 26:19We had a small pond in a summer business where guests would come.
- 26:22So we wanted the beach area to be clear of weeds.
- 26:24And I said, don't know, and dad, just throw roundup in there.
- 26:27I I believed it was safe because of the commercials.
- 26:31And he said, no, it'll kill the frogs.
- 26:32And I said, no, it won't, it's safe.
- 26:34He said, no, absolutely not.
- 26:35So he was the first environmentalist that I knew.
- 26:38He was very smart.
- 26:39And I thought he was just a fuzz budget.
- 26:41But, you know, yeah, I mean, they've been told this for a long time, and there are actually studies to show, quote unquote, that it was safe.
- 26:48But that the main one that was being quoted 99% of the time was recently redacted because it was proven to be written by Monsanto, ghostwritten by Monsanto.
- 26:58So they created fraudulent science to convince the public and the EPA to approve the license of glyphosate.
- 27:07This is why I keep saying it's got to be banned.
- 27:08It's got to be taken because the evidence that was used is as been shown to be fraudulent.
- 27:14I mean, they even took skin from a cadaver, baked it and cooked it, baked it and cooked it.
- 27:18I mean, froze it and baked it repeatedly until that skin was like leather, and then they dripped glyphosate on it and said, Look, no cancer was formed.
- 27:26Well, of course, because the skin was like leather.
- 27:29It could, you know.
- 27:30So they literally cooked the science to say that glyphosate does not cause cancer with skin, you know, dermal exposure, skin exposure.
- 27:39And this is why you've got your Uncle Harry and grandpa spraying glyphosate on your front driveway to keep the weeds out of your driveway and your sidewalks in their flip-flops with no protective gear, and then showing up with glyph, you know, with cancer, non-Hotchkin's lymphoma five years later.
- 27:55Well, this is a problem.
- 27:57This is this is very much a problem.
- 27:59And it's it's so good to get this information out bigger, broader and to more people because people just really don't believe it.
- 28:00Good to get this information out bigger, broader, and to more people because people just really don't believe it.
- 28:06So for that, I want you to just hold that thought for just a second, Zen.

- 36:24So let me tell you a little bit more about Zen Honeycut.
- 36:27She's the founding executive director of a nonprofit Moms Across America, a national coalition of unstoppable moms with the motto, empower empowered moms, healthy kids and the legislative arm of the moms across America movement.
- 36:42Among her many, many accomplishments.
- 36:45She has initiated the first glyphosate testing in America, successfully petitioned Costco to remove Roundup from their shelves.
- 36:52And she has supported many multiple legislative initiatives to beat back glyphosate and the pesticides.
- 36:59Zen, thanks.
- 37:00Thank you so much for joining me on the show today.
- 37:02It's been a long time coming, and I have, and I know our audience has not been disappointed to having you here.
- 37:08It's been great to talk with you.
- 37:10Thank you, Sherry.
- 37:11I'm really pleased.
- 37:12You know, all the problems what we've been talking about in the first half of the show about glyphosate and pesticides, and you talk about it all the time.
- 37:19Tell us about what they're trying to pull off through this farm bill and the looming pesticide immunity bill and why it's more important for Americans to get involved now than ever.
- 37:30Yeah, it's so important.
- 37:32Right now, we've got all three branches or judicial, executive, and legislative branches of our government have champions, uh, which really are traitors, in my opinion, to promote pesticide immunity shield for chemical companies, meaning not just pesticides, though.
- 37:49We really should change it to chemical immunity shield because it would be all the chemicals covered under FIFRA that are very dangerous to human health to have immunity from lawsuits.
- 38:00You know, this this is particularly covers glyphosate and also periquat, which causes Parkinson's disease.
- 38:07There's over 1200 studies showing the connection to Parkinson's.
- 38:12There's atrazine that causes sex hormone changes and can be, you know, possibly chemically castrating our males.
- 38:19It it is a it is a uh a real uh dream come true for Bayer and Chem China that are the largest chemical companies, the largest pesticide manufacturers, to have these pesticide immunity clauses in one is in the Supreme Court.
- 38:35It would be in the form of a journal versus Monsanto court case, which Monsanto has appealed.
- 38:41Monsanto is now known as BAER because they were bought out.
- 38:44And that court case, if Monsanto wins or bear wins, they will win immunity for chemical companies from lawsuits.
- 38:52And unfortunately, this administration has sent an amicus brief advising that the Supreme Court does rule in favor of bear.
- 39:02This is a tragedy.
- 39:03Yes.
- 39:03What's behind that?
- 39:04What what is the impotence that the Trump administration would do something like that?
- 39:09It's horrible because other administrations have not just not given the nod.
- 39:13Like the Supreme Court didn't have to take this case up, right?
- 39:16They only take up a few cases a year.
- 39:18They could have completely ignored it.
- 39:20But this administration sent a letter saying you should take this case up.
- 39:24I believe that our president is being manipulated by the chemical companies.
- 39:28I believe he's being either blackmailed or just hoodwinked.
- 39:33I don't understand what's going on, but um there's enough science out there for him to know that this is a bad idea.
- 39:39But it's happening anyway.
- 39:41And I believe it's because the chemical companies want their products to continue to be sold with impunity, right?
- 39:48You know, without being um sued because they're saying they're going to go out of business if they uh if these lawsuits keep happening, and if they go out of business, then the farmers won't have glyphosate and all the other chemicals that they make.
- 40:00And they're saying that if they don't have these chemicals, then the farmers will go bankrupt and the American economy will collapse because so much of our uh economy is based on our agriculture.
- 40:10Now, from a business standpoint, I can understand why he might think some of those things.
- 40:15Um, but from a uh health standpoint and the and if you look at the economy of America compared to its uh health care costs, it's already collapsing.
- 40:25We already have a disaster.
- 40:26We have an epic disaster with four point, you know, 4.4 trillion dollars being spent on health care costs.
- 40:33Imagine if we weren't didn't have to spend that money anymore on health care costs because we weren't poisoning ourselves with glyphosate and atrazine and diquat and paracat and you know, 24D.
- 40:43So, you know, at some point you've got to look at the cost versus benefit as far as business goes here and and realize that these poisons in our food supply are not worth the the benefits that we're getting.
- 40:54There are other ways to farm called regenerative organic farming, and you've got to do that.
- 40:59So um, I I really beseech the advisors around Trump to have a rethink about this whole plan.
- 41:05Uh, and we still have time before the midterms for them to do the right thing.
- 41:09But unfortunately, our EPA has done nothing about pesticides in the past year, as was promised to reduce our exposure and our especially our children's exposure to pesticides.
- 41:19Absolutely nothing.
- 41:19In fact, they've made it worse.
- 41:21They have um approved more PFOS pesticides.
- 41:23They have lowered the restrictions on formaldehyde and asbestos.
- 41:27They've done nothing about getting fluoride out of our water.
- 41:30So that's from an executive branch and you know, the judicial branch.
- 41:34Legislatively in the farm bill, there are several provisions that are really egregious.
- 41:40I mean, it's just the worst you could imagine.
- 41:44Um, number section 10202, which a lot a lot of people are talking about, requires the EPA to coordinate with the USDA and weigh economic viability in pesticide risk and safety decisions.
- 41:56This embeds production economics directly into health and protect protection decisions, putting business before safety.
- 42:00Health and protect protection decisions, putting business before safety.
- 42:04Like they're saying the quiet power out loud, which they've been doing this for a long time, right?
- 42:04Like they're saying the quiet power out loud, which they've been doing this for a long time, right?
- 42:09Putting business before health.
- 42:09Putting business before health.
- 42:10Now they want to make it a law that that's what has to happen.
- 42:10Now they want to make it a law that that's what has to happen.
- 42:13So that's section 10202 that has to be taken out of the farm bill.
- 42:13So that's section 10202 that has to be taken out of the farm bill.
- 42:17Section 10204 extends a statutory diet deadline requiring the EPA to re review all pesticides until 2031.
- 42:17Section 10204 extends a statutory diet deadline requiring the EPA to re-review all pesticides until 2031.
- 42:27Wow.
- 42:27This is five year setback of pesticide reviews.
- 42:27This is five year setback of pesticides.
- 42:30It allows unsafe chemicals to remain on the market, delaying much needed endocrine screenings for dozens of hormone disrupting chemicals.
- 42:38And this is because dun dun dun, glyphosate is due this year, right?
- 42:42So they don't want that to happen.
- 42:44They want to push it back five years.
- 42:45So that section 10204 has to be taken out of the farm bill.
- 42:49It essentially neuters the EPA, right, from doing their job.
- 42:53And then Section 10205 gives eformity of all pesticide labeling requirements.
- 42:59This is the section that essentially blocks state, local, and courts' rights and effectively gives immunity for lawsuits.
- 43:06It even says the word courts in the farm bill.
- 43:10So this means that it overrides our judicial system and our democracy.
- 43:16I would say that this is unconstitutional.
- 43:18So would Dr.
- 43:19Don Huber, who's a 60-year plant pathologist, he says we have a constitutional right to sue.
- 43:24And this section overrides that.
- 43:26Section 10206 bans local governments from implementing local pesticide restrictions, meaning that hundreds of towns and cities across the country will lose protections put in place to stop glyphosate use in schools, playgrounds, and community parks.
- 43:40And Sherry, on our website, under action, if you hover on that, there's a drop down that says toxin-free town.
- 43:48And that is a section which has a an R uh a PDF, a download called 10 Alternatives to Roundup.
- 43:55That PDF has been downloaded a hundred thousand times off of our website.
- 44:01So that means people all across the country are trying to get glyphosate out of their towns or homeowners' associations, their community parks.
- 44:09We came up number one for years for alternative to Roundup.
- 44:13And so all of that work that people have done in their parks and community playgrounds and all of that to get glyphosate out will go away if Section 10206 stays in the farm bill.
- 44:25Then Section 10207 loosens restrictions on pesticides sprayed directly into bottles of bodies of water, threatening safe drinking water by allowing excess contam chemical contamination.
- 44:36So it increases our exposure to toxic chemicals.
- 44:40It's absolutely insane.
- 44:41And then Section 10211, it does work on data collection, but it also overrides other laws, potentially weakening environmental oversight and delays overdue to toxicity reviews.
- 44:54So it is it's the farm bill is a nightmare.
- 44:58And then in addition to that, oh, and that's being, by the way, being voted on potentially the week of April 27th through May 1st.
- 45:06We don't know exactly when, but please be on the alert.
- 45:09Moms across America will send out notifications.
- 45:12And, you know, if you're hearing this before the pesticide rally on Monday, um April 27th, please join us.
- 45:22That will be at 9 a.m.
- 45:23at the Supreme Court, 9 to 12 to show up and really send a message, not just to the Supreme Court, but the legislators on the Hill will be paying attention to this.
- 45:33It will be in the news, I promise you.
- 45:35And we it will be covered by the media and our let our elected officials should know that we are not voting for anybody who puts the profits of pesticide companies before the health and safety of our children and our families and hardworking Americans and farmers, right?
- 45:51This this eliminates farmers from being able to sue for getting cancer from using agrochemicals.
- 45:58This is completely unjust.
- 46:00So if you're hearing this before April 27th, 9 a.m., please show up at the Supreme Court.
- 46:06And then you can lobby also with us or advocate with us, we should say, with moms across America on April 28th, sign up, you know, sign up to On Moms Across America to get our newsletter.
- 46:15We'll send out a invitation to sign up and lobby with us and educate our elected officials about the farm bill.
- 46:22Um it's very, very important.
- 46:23And then locally, in addition, if it's not bad enough that they're doing this federally, the these pesticide companies are also pushing this statewide.
- 46:32So they have 12 states right now that are pushing to get pesticide immunity passed in their state.
- 46:38Meaning if you live right now in Georgia, Nebraska, and I believe it's Kansas, you cannot sue and be a part of a class action lawsuit regarding any type of harm, cancer, any harm from agrochemicals or any chemicals.
- 46:53So the other states are trying to pass this as well.
- 46:56So what they're doing is they are either brainwashing or blackmailing our elected officials to go ahead and sponsor these bills to give them complete immunity.
- 47:06We don't know exactly what's happening, but for sure, democracy is being co-opted in America, and it's because of these chemical companies that are primarily Chinese-based.
- 47:17That's what's happening.
- 47:18That's a fact.
- 47:19So, Zen, you've been pushing this for a long time, you know, and getting in front of legislators and educating the world, actually, not just Americans, but around the world.
- 47:32You know, when you hear things like this, you you can't help but falling into your conspiracy.
- 47:36Um, for me, I can't help falling into my conspiracy brain of is this really just about money?
- 47:43Or is this really about making people sick?
- 47:47Well, when you look at the facts, you know, here's the thing.
- 47:50I don't like to interpret anybody's intention because I don't like my intention interpreted.
- 47:54I do like to look at the facts, and the facts are that uh the largest pesticide manufacturer in the world is Singenta, which was just bought by Chem China.
- 48:04Their sister company is AstraZeneca, which makes 400 different pharmaceutical drugs to treat the very same symptoms that pesticides cause.
- 48:15So what you have there is a perfect profit circle for them of making people sick and quote unquote making people better, right, with their pharmaceutical drugs.
- 48:25And I brought this up when I met with actually some research and developers in Switzerland with Singenta lead developers, and they said, Oh, well, we don't do that.
- 48:35And then we said, yes, you do.
- 48:36And I told them about you know, AstraZeneca and their, and so they decided to sell less glyphosate that year.
- 48:43The next year they made an announcement at their shareholder meeting, they decided to sell less glyphosate.
- 48:47But um they're still selling it and they're still selling a lot of other pesticides that cause problems.
- 48:53Um, and so there may be some people at some of these companies that don't believe what they're doing is is you know, making us sick.
- 49:00Um, but it's definitely not everybody because the science is out there, and what's happening is they're not being responsible for their impact.
- 49:00Um, but it's definitely not everybody because the science is out there, and what's happening is they're not being responsible for their impact.
- 49:08So even if they don't intend to make people sick by selling pesticides that, you know, have all kinds of um health effects, even if they're not intending to make people sick.
- 49:08So even if they don't intend to make people sick by selling pesticides that, you know, have all kinds of um health effects, even if they're not intending to make people sick.
- 49:18The fact is they are making people sick and they're not being responsible for it.
- 49:18The fact is they are making people sick and they're not being responsible for it.
- 49:23And that's where, as a mother, I've, you know, I'm just at enough is enough.
- 49:23And that's where, as a mother, I've, you know, I'm just at enough is enough.
- 49:28You know, this is a
- 49:28You know, this is a basic principle is tell the truth.
- 49:32Be honest, clean up your mess, be responsible, right?
- 49:36We know what you're doing.
- 49:37We've got eyes in the back of our head.
- 49:39We're gonna keep watching you.
- 49:40We're gonna stay on top of it.
- 49:42And, you know, we're not against capitalism, right?
- 49:44Make make what you want, sell what you want.
- 49:46But if it's not safe, you're gonna have a tidal wave of moms coming after you.
- 49:50That's what's gonna happen.
- 49:51And it's actually bad business practice to make to make products that are poisonous.
- 49:58It's a short-term business game.
- 50:00You know what I mean?
- 50:00That it's it's you're gonna, you're gonna either go out of business or people are gonna find out, they're gonna sue you, which is what they're trying to stop, right?
- 50:07They're trying to stop all the lawsuits.
- 50:08Even if they stop the lawsuits, Sherry, people know that their products are causing cancer now.
- 50:13They're gonna stop buying them.
- 50:15When pe when you stop selling your products and you don't, you can't make money, you have to change your business plan.
- 50:22So why not from the very get-go, just make products that are safe?
- 50:26That's a viable long-term business plan.
- 50:29If Trump wants America to be successful, enforce that they are making products that are safe.
- 50:34That's all.
- 50:35Then you get a long-term business plan there.
- 50:38It's so, it's so common sense, it's laughable.
- 50:41Sorry, we're gonna talk common sense.
- 50:43Yes.
- 50:43I mean, it is so common sense to say, oh, we've got, you know, reams of information showing how these chemicals poison people and animals.
- 50:52I mean, the FDA just approved a new injectable uh uh medication for dogs this week that uh for ticks and fleas.
- 51:01It's a one-time injection for the entire year that they've already seen animals die right after they get the shot.
- 51:08They see them go into Caesar seizures, they've seen all these things.
- 51:11And I learned about this on an Instagram post that was being posted by a veterinarian saying, don't let your veterinarians do this because uh, you know, if you're trying to treat your dogs for fleas or ticks, it's not something that's topical that you can rub off.
- 51:26It's not a pill that if it's making them sick, you can detox them and get activated charcoal and get it out of their stomach.
- 51:32This is a injectable product made with mRNA that is going to be in there for an entire year.
- 51:39So not only are they coming after humans to make them sick, they're coming after dogs and cats and cattle and pigs and fish.
- 51:48There's more than 50 vaccines that they've made for fish.
- 51:51So it's it's everywhere.
- 51:53And it's you know, so important for us to for the for people to rise up and say, you know, leave our food, air, water alone.
- 52:02Stop and and and vaccines.
- 52:04So I have to add in, Sherry, when we did the testing for glyphosate, I forgot to mention that we I saw the ingredients in glyphosate in vaccines when somebody posted them on Facebook.
- 52:13They just posted the ingredients of I think the MMRNA vaccine or something like that.
- 52:17I mean the um MMR vaccine or one of them.
- 52:20And I thought, holy cow, there's bovine serum, there's chicken serum, there's there's dairy, there's sugar, there's all kinds of crops and animals that eat, you know, animal parts that eat GMO grain sprayed with glyphosate.
- 52:32And I had learned that glyphosate does not wash, dry, or cook off, right, in its entirety.
- 52:36So I thought, holy cow, there's probably glyphosate in those vaccines.
- 52:39Around the same time, Stephanie Seneff said the same thing.
- 52:41So I got confirmation.
- 52:42I was like, oh, we can't we need to test for glyphosate in a vaccine.
- 52:45So we did, and we found glyphosate in every single one of the five childhood vaccines we tested.
- 52:49And then her partner, Anthony Samsell, they were working on papers together at the time.
- 52:53He tested 14 vaccines and found glyphosate in 12 of them.
- 52:57And both of us found the highest levels of glyphosate in the MMR vaccines.
- 53:01Mine was 25 times higher than the other vaccines.
- 53:04His was 34 times higher than the other vaccines.
- 53:06And that's the MMR vaccine is the one that showed that it caused gut dysbiosis.
- 53:11This is what Andy Wakefield said, right?
- 53:12And he didn't say autism, he just said it caused gut dust by gut dysbiosis, which by the way, ends up in autism-like symptoms, right?
- 53:19With with people.
- 53:20So and that glyphosate is getting into vaccines because we believe 25% of a live virus vaccine needs to be gelatin.
- 53:29If it's a live virus, MMR is a live virus vaccine.
- 53:32Um the other vaccines are also grown on gelatin, right?
- 53:35And the gelatin comes from pigs that eat GMO grain sprayed with glyphosate.
- 53:38So there's your glyphosate.
- 53:40And then there's it glyphosate gets into the blood.
- 53:42It gets into the you know, serumates sprayed on sugar.
- 53:44It's it's in the in the cow's milk.
- 53:47So all of those other, you know, sprayed on peanuts, right?
- 53:49Peanut oils used in in vaccines.
- 53:51So we know now that glyphosate is in vaccines.
- 53:55We would guess that it's in pet vaccines as well.
- 53:58Moms across America is seeking funding to expand our um our programs regarding pets.
- 54:05So if anybody knows any millionaires that care about pets, we really would like to expand our program there.
- 54:10We've got a lot of information, think things that we want to get tested and that we want to um share with the public that the current FDA um or any of the manufacturers, they're they're just not doing it.
- 54:21They're not doing this work.
- 54:22We can do a better job than the FDA, and we will, as long as we get the funding and and we're you know supported and continuing going on.
- 54:30So it's it's got to be exposed the the role of glyphosate in vaccines, which by the way, also it's a chelator and it breaks through the blood brain barriers or any other cells.
- 54:39So when glyphosate breaks through the blood brain barrier and chelates and grabs that aluminum that's in vaccines on up into the brain.
- 54:45Um, Dr.
- 54:46Christopher Xley has shown that glyphosate that aluminum in particular parts of the brain has increased the uh risk, or he says causes autism and Alzheimer symptoms or straight up Alzheimer's.
- 54:59And so I would say it's in conjunction with glyphosate, that glyphosate is chelating and bringing that aluminum into the brain and more tests, you know, need to be done to show that.
- 55:09Um, but that is, I think, a major contributing factor of the autism epidemic.
- 55:13And you see it reversed when with, you know, books like um vaxxed versus unvaxxed and um other books that focus on Dr.
- 55:20Paul Thomas's studies that show that the unvaccinated children are healthier, the vaccinated children have more sickness, higher rates of um all cause all cause uh mortality, higher rates of flu just recently was put out, right?
- 55:34Like more people got the flu when they got the flu shot than not, right?
- 55:37So it's so it's not working.
- 55:40So, Zen, we've got about 30 seconds left in our time here together today.
- 55:44Tell people where they can find out more information about moms across America and how they can get involved with stopping this farm bill.
- 55:50You got about 30 seconds.
- 55:52Sure.
