Three cheers for sweatshirt season
Yesterday it hit 90 degrees in my town, a full 22 degrees above our average high for the date. And yet. So far this fall I’ve gotten a few tastes of those crisp 50-something degree mornings that we call “sweatshirt weather” at my house (and I imagine at many of yours, too). After too many months of too much heat and humidity, my skin longs for soft, cozy layers … and the casual comfort of a just-right sweatshirt.
Whether that sweatshirt is beat-up and beloved or brand-new and waiting to be worn for the first time, I am eager to embrace this year’s coming…
