- 0:19Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is magic Jadge nine.
- 0:24Speaker 2: And welcome to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered,
- 0:27Speaker 2: where we have to go through a whole new dating situation.
- 0:30Speaker 2: We just got done talking to our friend Miranda in
- 0:32Speaker 2: the last couple episodes, and right when you think it
- 0:34Speaker 2: can't get any crazier, well then here we are.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Abbey. Yeah. I actually got sent this guy, Jake's video
- 0:42Speaker 3: yesterday and everyone was like, oh my god, this is
- 0:45Speaker 3: the worst situation ever happening right now in Tampa. You
- 0:48Speaker 3: have to get him on base on Baeshore, my dating
- 0:50Speaker 3: show on Instagram. So, Jake, you met this girl on
- 0:54Speaker 3: Instagram who lives somewhere outside of Tampa. You're talking her
- 0:58Speaker 3: for five months, you made plans to come out here,
- 1:00Speaker 3: you booked a flight, non refundable and everything, and then
- 1:02Speaker 3: she ghosts you.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Let's where do we start there?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Before we get into everything, I don't know how did
- 1:08Speaker 3: you even meet this girl? Like, how did you two
- 1:11Speaker 3: get connected?
- 1:14Speaker 4: Basically? She just she sent me a message on Instagram
- 1:17Speaker 4: and we started talking.
- 1:19Speaker 3: How did she find you?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Though?
- 1:20Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like, there's a million people
- 1:22Speaker 3: on Instagram.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I think I don't know how one of my videos
- 1:25Speaker 4: got down to Tampa. I have no idea how she
- 1:28Speaker 4: found it, but.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I just this is so interesting that it's
- 1:34Speaker 2: okay because you don't live in Tampa.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Do you live originally Idaho?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Okay, so you're over in Idaho and all of a
- 1:40Speaker 2: sudden you get a little ding on your Insta from
- 1:43Speaker 2: some just chick down in Tampa. Yeah, that's kind of
- 1:46Speaker 2: interesting in general though, because she reached out.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It's like usually it's the guy that's sliding up in
- 1:50Speaker 1: the DMS.
- 1:51Speaker 3: No, I feel like girls are pretty aggressive, just because
- 1:53Speaker 3: guys don't really make the first move anymore. That I
- 1:56Speaker 3: feel like it's kind of swung in the opposite direction
- 1:58Speaker 3: where it's like, Okay, no one's going to hit on me,
- 2:00Speaker 3: I'm gonna start hitting on people. And it's so easy
- 2:02Speaker 3: on its gram. You see a video, you think the
- 2:03Speaker 3: guy's cute, you slide in.
- 2:05Speaker 1: What did she.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Say some comment about like the Buccaneers, Like she's a
- 2:12Speaker 4: Buccaneers fan, obviously. I think there's maybe something in my
- 2:16Speaker 4: video about like maybe I was wearing like a Green
- 2:18Speaker 4: Bay hat or shirt or something. So then yeah, I
- 2:23Speaker 4: just kind of immediately into that sports realm. Yeah, okay,
- 2:27Speaker 4: I interested too, because you know, I love talking about sports.
- 2:31Speaker 4: So yeah, that was the initial message. Nothing too crazy.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But which my first thought though, because I did watch
- 2:38Speaker 2: your video and I remember thinking to myself, is this
- 2:42Speaker 2: even a real person? But when you get hit up
- 2:45Speaker 2: by a bot, they don't really see specifics. Like I
- 2:48Speaker 2: get random accounts that are like oh hey, I'm like, okay,
- 2:51Speaker 2: well this is fake because slid it up and doing that.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But if she's actually seeing things in your video that
- 2:56Speaker 2: are like, oh, let's go really specific.
- 2:59Speaker 3: It's a really good Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, the guy's getting good. I don't know how good
- 3:03Speaker 2: it's really getting. And then from there, this is where
- 3:06Speaker 2: it's crazy because five months, you guys, what you let
- 3:11Speaker 2: me see you're talking? Is that just meaning you're messaging
- 3:14Speaker 2: on Instagram? Or do you get her number? How does
- 3:18Speaker 2: that go down? Because five months is a lot of time.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I think I just hit five months in my relationship.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, like the first months we're just talking
- 3:25Speaker 4: on Instagram, and then eventually I was like, all right,
- 3:28Speaker 4: here's my number. I was kind of sick of just
- 3:32Speaker 4: dming on Instagram, and then we texted for a few
- 3:35Speaker 4: more months and then yeah, that's when we started face timing.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so there were face times too.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Like I'm confirming this is a really, really, really good bot.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I know because I know a lot of people that
- 3:47Speaker 2: are going to hear this are thinking, oh my gosh,
- 3:48Speaker 2: you got catfish. Yeah, Like that's why I said that,
- 3:51Speaker 2: because obviously you didn't.
- 3:53Speaker 1: You literally saw her face.
- 3:54Speaker 4: No, that's that's what I was concerned about, Like, if
- 3:56Speaker 4: I'm going to make this trip, I want to make
- 3:59Speaker 4: sure it's a real person. And yeah, there's there's more
- 4:03Speaker 4: than one FaceTime. There's there's a few, and you know,
- 4:06Speaker 4: talked for anywhere between like thirty minutes to an hour
- 4:09Speaker 4: each time. Oh my gosh, like they went really well.
- 4:13Speaker 4: And yeah, so you.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Guys are clicking right away obviously, and it's not even
- 4:20Speaker 2: like a what are we were just talking to Miranda
- 4:22Speaker 2: like one time at a bar, like you just meet
- 4:24Speaker 2: really quick and it's like, oh okay, it's okay.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Not it's ever okay to ghosts.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But in that case, it's like, huh, all right, understandable
- 4:30Speaker 2: five months go by because okay, this is overreaching, but
- 4:35Speaker 2: it's the podcast, so people can't see it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Do you have a picture of this person or on Instagram?
- 4:41Speaker 1: I do I wanted to keep in it on the
- 4:43Speaker 1: d L.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I think I think, yeah, I think you wanted to
- 4:46Speaker 3: keep it private because.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I'm not I'm not trying to like excuse
- 4:52Speaker 4: she's gonna get eaten alive on Oh yeah, we definitely
- 4:55Speaker 4: want or anything like that.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I just can't believe because I posted the video with
- 4:59Speaker 3: you teasing our base on ba Shore episode, and then
- 5:02Speaker 3: also your video got widely circulated. It's crazy to me
- 5:06Speaker 3: that she hasn't said anything to you yet.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't. And again, I don't know if she's
- 5:11Speaker 4: seen the video or not.
- 5:13Speaker 3: There's just no way she hasn't.
- 5:15Speaker 4: That's so true, Like if yeah, she's on Instagram at all,
- 5:19Speaker 4: especially since we've been messaging, like some my video is
- 5:22Speaker 4: probably gonna algorithm gonna pop up.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Well, let's let's take a step back then, So you
- 5:26Speaker 2: make these plans to come down to Tampa and okay,
- 5:30Speaker 2: so yes, I saw your video, but for some of
- 5:33Speaker 2: us that didn't, How did that go down?
- 5:35Speaker 1: You text her before you got on the flight.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Well, so it was it was a little bit before.
- 5:42Speaker 4: It's about a week before my flight. Was the last
- 5:45Speaker 4: text message I got from her.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Oh God, which.
- 5:48Speaker 4: In the beginning, it wasn't like too concerning because you know,
- 5:51Speaker 4: both of us like sometimes we go like a day
- 5:53Speaker 4: or two without replying, but you know, just everyone's busy.
- 5:57Speaker 4: But we always continued on the conversation. And then yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 4: as it got closer to my flight, we had plans
- 6:06Speaker 4: Friday morning. So Wednesday, I'm like, what time are we
- 6:11Speaker 4: leaving in the morning, because it's you know, an hour
- 6:14Speaker 4: outside Tampa. Yeah, and we're gonna drive in. And I
- 6:19Speaker 4: heard nothing, And so then I tried calling her. Nothing
- 6:23Speaker 4: and then yeah, my last last ditch effort was when
- 6:26Speaker 4: I landed, said I was here, asked her what was
- 6:29Speaker 4: going on and if you're still planning to hang out?
- 6:32Speaker 4: And still nothing.
- 6:33Speaker 3: So the last message you got from her was a
- 6:35Speaker 3: week before you left for Tampa. Yeah, so what made
- 6:39Speaker 3: you want to commit to still coming to Tampa? I
- 6:41Speaker 3: know it was non refundable, but like, could you have
- 6:43Speaker 3: switched your flight, could you have done like a Bowies
- 6:45Speaker 3: weekend in Vegas? Or were you like really hoping, Okay,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna come and she's gonna respond and we're finally
- 6:51Speaker 3: gonna go out.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I mean, I guess I still had a little bit
- 6:55Speaker 4: of hope of course. But the way I looked at
- 6:58Speaker 4: it was, even though if it'll suck a lot, I've
- 7:03Speaker 4: ever been to Tampa, I've never been to Florida, so
- 7:06Speaker 4: it's kind of an opportunity to explore a new city,
- 7:10Speaker 4: even if I have to do it by myself.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, good on you, I will say.
- 7:15Speaker 2: That's so yeah, Like that's such a bold move to say,
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know what, I'm still gonna come anywhere.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Like I tip my hat.
- 7:21Speaker 2: To if I was wearing one that says, wow, good
- 7:24Speaker 2: on you to just go on the adventure to see
- 7:26Speaker 2: what happens and walking to Florida. We're not all like that,
- 7:29Speaker 2: you know, We're not all just gonna leave you up
- 7:30Speaker 2: hanging and dry.
- 7:31Speaker 1: How long ago did you get into Florida?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Uh? Four days ago?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, so you spent like a long weekend by yourself.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But I saw a lot of the girls and a
- 7:41Speaker 3: lot of the guys of the comments saying things like, oh,
- 7:42Speaker 3: this is such typical Tampa girl behavior. Of course they
- 7:46Speaker 3: go she they go completely at my a. And so
- 7:48Speaker 3: you must not be the only guy who's experienced this
- 7:50Speaker 3: in some capacity. I don't know if everyone flew out
- 7:53Speaker 3: from Idaho.
- 7:54Speaker 1: But not everyone bought a plane ticket.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Do you think she just got cold feet? Like what's
- 7:59Speaker 3: your hypothesis and all of this?
- 8:01Speaker 4: I mean I really have I don't understand it.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, not after five months, Like that's the parts of
- 8:07Speaker 2: my brain that's like what after facetimes and then nothing.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Like yeah, cold feet, that's one thing. Like if we
- 8:15Speaker 4: lived in the same city or yeah, close by. But
- 8:21Speaker 4: and she she knew how much I was spending, you know,
- 8:24Speaker 4: flying across the country to come out here.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Did she seem excited that you were coming? Like who's
- 8:29Speaker 3: did you bring it up and go, hey, I want
- 8:31Speaker 3: to come? And she was like oh cool? Or were
- 8:34Speaker 3: you guys making plans together like paint the picture for me?
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah? So, I mean we talked a lot about travel,
- 8:40Speaker 4: different places we wanted to go to. When I was
- 8:43Speaker 4: living in Dallas, I invited her out for a weekend
- 8:48Speaker 4: and she had some stuff like with family going on
- 8:53Speaker 4: that she couldn't make it. Yeah, but we were also
- 8:55Speaker 4: like talking about like booking a trip together to Nashville,
- 8:58Speaker 4: like some way to like meet and for the first time,
- 9:01Speaker 4: because's you know, hard because we're far away. Oh yeah.
- 9:06Speaker 4: But then she's like, yeah, I think you'd love my hometown.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I think you'd love Tampa just kind of like a
- 9:13Speaker 4: little more my idea, but almost kind of a mutual yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 4: idea to fly out.
- 9:17Speaker 3: It definitely seems like there's mutual interest, because that's the
- 9:20Speaker 3: only thing I was thinking, is like maybe he brought
- 9:22Speaker 3: it up and she like got nervous and like went
- 9:25Speaker 3: along with it. But if you guys were talking about
- 9:27Speaker 3: this consistently for days or weeks, like it is just
- 9:30Speaker 3: wild to me. She just went completely in my a
- 9:33Speaker 3: after you booked everything.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and you don't let somebody buy a plane ticket
- 9:36Speaker 2: like now money's involved, a refundable one.
- 9:39Speaker 3: So anyway, that's in the past. That girl's no longer
- 9:42Speaker 3: in your life anymore. You I gave you the opportunity
- 9:44Speaker 3: on base on Bay Shore to say something to her.
- 9:46Speaker 3: He took the high road, and I was like, screw it.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm not Yeah, I know stake in this game. This
- 9:52Speaker 3: sucks Like a man. We would be rioting in the
- 9:55Speaker 3: streets if this happened to a girl. Although I don't
- 9:56Speaker 3: would never recommend a girl fly to some other Oh
- 9:59Speaker 3: play for a dude, Although have I done that, absolutely,
- 10:02Speaker 3: But I don't do as I say, not as I do.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I want to know what it's been like for you
- 10:09Speaker 3: in Tampa four days, having to figure it out on
- 10:12Speaker 3: your own, thinking that you're gonna spend this really great
- 10:14Speaker 3: weekend with a girl that you've caught feelings for and
- 10:17Speaker 3: now having to do all those things by yourself.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's the first couple of days is
- 10:23Speaker 4: a little overwhelming because she was kind of planning everything out.
- 10:28Speaker 4: She was gonna show me around, So I didn't do
- 10:29Speaker 4: a lot of research. Yeah, so I just kind of
- 10:32Speaker 4: figured out when I got here, and there's a lot
- 10:35Speaker 4: to do.
- 10:36Speaker 3: What's the first thing you did when you got here?
- 10:38Speaker 3: You got here.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Thursday, I just went to the Airbnb. It was like midnight.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, okay, So Friday, you wake up Friday.
- 10:45Speaker 3: You're in a new city and a new state you've
- 10:47Speaker 3: never been to before. You know nobody here. You thought
- 10:50Speaker 3: you had all these plans. What do you do?
- 10:53Speaker 4: So that one was actually pretty easy for me. I
- 10:56Speaker 4: just booked a tour of the Bucks Stadium. Oh cool,
- 10:59Speaker 4: I know they did that, and I was like, I'm
- 11:02Speaker 4: not gonna be able to Obviously they're not playing, so
- 11:05Speaker 4: I can't watch a game, but I still want to
- 11:07Speaker 4: see the stadium and then I'll be in Tampa. So
- 11:10Speaker 4: after that, I just kind of searched around places to
- 11:14Speaker 4: go and yeah, I found I actually went to like
- 11:17Speaker 4: Ebor City for a little bit nice.
- 11:20Speaker 2: How'd you feel about that? Because Ebor gets a weird rap.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I mean in the day, it's beautiful at night.
- 11:26Speaker 4: During the day, I was told to leave before ten. Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 4: that's a good idea. And then you have from there.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I just I got some recommendations through Instagram or TikTok
- 11:38Speaker 4: and different areas to go to and just kind of
- 11:43Speaker 4: figured out what what places I think I would enjoy
- 11:47Speaker 4: and just kind of guessed on where to go.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you told me you liked the wings at Hat Tricks.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Yeah they were good.
- 11:54Speaker 3: You went out to Saint Pete, which he very lovingly
- 11:57Speaker 3: describes as Saint Pete's Oh who was like in Saint Pete,
- 12:02Speaker 3: the locals are going to catch your drift that you're
- 12:03Speaker 3: not from here. What else have you checked out that
- 12:06Speaker 3: we haven't talked about.
- 12:10Speaker 4: That's pretty much it.
- 12:12Speaker 3: I mean, you have no other meals.
- 12:15Speaker 2: What was your favorite part of because again, this is
- 12:17Speaker 2: the first time in Florida, so that's already overwhelming. In itself, Like,
- 12:21Speaker 2: what was the part that you're like, Man, I really
- 12:23Speaker 2: like this or I really didn't like this. Give us
- 12:24Speaker 2: your best and your worst part of being around Tampa.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Obviously the worst part ghosted beside that part.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, were your highs and lows of this, like four
- 12:33Speaker 2: days random adventure that you'd never thought would be happening.
- 12:38Speaker 4: I think it's like, probably the best day for me
- 12:41Speaker 4: was going to the pier.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Ah, peer's great. Did you see a dolphin?
- 12:47Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 12:49Speaker 3: There's still time. You're still year until like three, so
- 12:51Speaker 3: you're good.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, actually, let's start actually going back up on
- 12:55Speaker 4: that story. Oh no, that from one of my videos
- 13:01Speaker 4: I posted being down here. I actually had a go
- 13:04Speaker 4: reach out to me. I just want to show me
- 13:08Speaker 4: around the pier and like all the the bars, restaurants,
- 13:11Speaker 4: stuff to do down there, and told me to meet
- 13:15Speaker 4: it camera something balcony.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Oh, birchwood canopy canopy?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, nice, not balcony.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Wait, it's funny you said it. I immediately knew what
- 13:26Speaker 3: you meant.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, virtual campy And we were supposed to meet
- 13:29Speaker 4: it too, and no way. I was running about ten
- 13:33Speaker 4: minutes late, so shot a text like an hour before yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 4: didn't hear anything and she never showed up.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Getting ghosted in Tampa once is already crazy work, but
- 13:47Speaker 3: twice in one weekend is diabolic.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Ladies, What the hell is going on here?
- 13:51Speaker 3: This is a good looking man in some weird comforting capacity.
- 13:55Speaker 3: It's nice knowing that it's just as bad on the
- 13:58Speaker 3: other side. It's typically in Tampa, because I always tell
- 14:01Speaker 3: tell people this because they recently moved to Tampa quote
- 14:04Speaker 3: unquote permanently. I'm not the type of person to be like, oh, yeah,
- 14:08Speaker 3: dating in New York is bad. Dating Atlanta's bad where
- 14:10Speaker 3: I just came from. But I genuinely think there's a
- 14:13Speaker 3: different breed of person that lives in Tampa that it's
- 14:16Speaker 3: like the worst type of human to date because I
- 14:18Speaker 3: think there's such an easy discarding of humanity, like, oh,
- 14:23Speaker 3: I don't need to show up if I don't feel
- 14:24Speaker 3: like going because I just don't want to go, So
- 14:27Speaker 3: who cares my ghost them? Like that person doesn't have feelings,
- 14:29Speaker 3: but they they do.
- 14:31Speaker 2: This is their real person time, it's their effort, it's
- 14:34Speaker 2: their energy. Like that's that's so low. It's just so disrespectful,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and it just shows that when people meet online I
- 14:40Speaker 2: think there's a difference on how we view them as
- 14:42Speaker 2: a human. It's kind of like how we view celebrities
- 14:44Speaker 2: on social media. We're like, ah, I'm gonna leave this
- 14:46Speaker 2: horrible comment.
- 14:47Speaker 1: They don't care. They're not real. Yeah, yes they are.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It still hurts and your boys over here traveling around
- 14:53Speaker 2: not know where where to go. And here he is
- 14:55Speaker 2: again now at the canopy, looking at the beautiful beer.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I know, And the best meal he had here was
- 15:00Speaker 3: the wings at Hat Tricks, Like, you're kidding me, you ghosted,
- 15:04Speaker 3: And the best meal you've had here is is wings
- 15:07Speaker 3: from a sports bar.
- 15:08Speaker 1: That's all I was looking.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I just I don't know, there wasn't anything else that
- 15:13Speaker 4: really stood out to me. I don't know if I
- 15:16Speaker 4: went to the wrong like seafood places when I was
- 15:19Speaker 4: down at the beach, because it was just like it
- 15:21Speaker 4: was good. Yeah, but nothing really like stood out.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not the spokesperson for Tampa food, but
- 15:28Speaker 3: you can definitely do better than Hat Tricks.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Well, yeah, especially if you're trying to get some real
- 15:32Speaker 2: local Tampa, Florida food.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Oh actually, I mean I went to uh the Columbia.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that one this is
- 15:42Speaker 2: just so forgettable.
- 15:43Speaker 3: He's like, because, as I say, that's like an iconic
- 15:47Speaker 3: place in Tampa. Some other places that are kind of
- 15:50Speaker 3: iconic to Tampa. There's right to Deli, Cousin Vinnie's is
- 15:53Speaker 3: a sandwich shop that just got featured on diners Drive
- 15:56Speaker 3: Ins and Dives. What's the other one, The Boozy Pig.
- 15:59Speaker 1: There's a barbecue.
- 16:00Speaker 3: The Boozy Pig just got highlighted on Diner's Drive ins
- 16:02Speaker 3: and Dives. So there's places, for sure.
- 16:06Speaker 4: I haven't heard of those, but now you have.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Would you come back to Tampa after this trip?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Hell? No, he's not coming back from Tampa. He's scarred
- 16:14Speaker 3: for life.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I mean I actually would. It's it's it's fun area.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It is cool, it's fun, and it's I guess what
- 16:21Speaker 2: would be would be overwhelming.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I mean, this is a pretty big city. There's a
- 16:24Speaker 1: lot to check out.
- 16:25Speaker 2: There's different pockets that have different characters of it, and
- 16:28Speaker 2: I was looking because they're you know, Unfortunately, like you said,
- 16:32Speaker 2: you were set up for the Cannoby and then ghosted again.
- 16:36Speaker 2: But I did look at your comments on your video.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Did you ever meet like I see this girl fallen?
- 16:39Speaker 2: Like she slid up hard and everyone's liking that comment
- 16:42Speaker 2: where she's like, well, if you don't happen to have
- 16:44Speaker 2: Tampa plans tomorrow night, I'm free.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Did you ever reach out to her?
- 16:51Speaker 4: I'm honestly pretty behind on the comments.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I got a date for you right now before your
- 16:57Speaker 1: foot What do you do?
- 16:58Speaker 3: He's like, I don't research restaurants. I'm not reading all
- 17:00Speaker 3: the hot girls and my dms and my comments. What
- 17:02Speaker 3: are you doing with your time?
- 17:04Speaker 4: No, I'm trying to. I just normally don't get this
- 17:07Speaker 4: many comments. I really can keep up with them pretty easily. Yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 4: And also like that video I posted like on a
- 17:15Speaker 4: Sunday night, and so then I was still doing I
- 17:19Speaker 4: was out and about Sunday night, and then the next day,
- 17:23Speaker 4: you know, I'm leaving and I'm going and doing stuff again.
- 17:27Speaker 4: So I'm not really like on my phone checking comments,
- 17:30Speaker 4: and I mean.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Just sitting with your own thoughts.
- 17:34Speaker 1: There's a lot going on there is.
- 17:36Speaker 3: He's like, there's a lot to think about. So what
- 17:37Speaker 3: have you been thinking about a lot this weekend? Like
- 17:39Speaker 3: you spent a lot of alone time.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Oh that's true.
- 17:42Speaker 3: What are you thought when you're sitting at hat tricks
- 17:44Speaker 3: and this and the TV's not working and your phone
- 17:46Speaker 3: is off because you don't go on your phone. What
- 17:49Speaker 3: are you sitting with? It's a therapy by the way,
- 17:53Speaker 3: I'm charging you seventy five dollars an hour.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Pretty good rate.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Yeah that's not bad.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I'd say, like, that's pretty fucking cheap.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I not a lot, honestly, what do you do there?
- 18:05Speaker 3: I'm starting to understand why she goes to Oakes, Like,
- 18:09Speaker 3: what the fuck you? You haven't been sitting here thinking
- 18:13Speaker 3: what am I doing with my life? Should I call
- 18:16Speaker 3: a street corner worker an evil? There? I should get
- 18:19Speaker 3: on hinge. You're not thinking any of these things.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I know. We have very famous strip clubs here too.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you could have gone to the Odyssey, big one.
- 18:25Speaker 4: That's a good one. I didn't. I didn't think of.
- 18:28Speaker 3: He's just sitting He's sitting there, maladaptive, daydreaming about the
- 18:31Speaker 3: Bucks Stadium.
- 18:32Speaker 2: You do that thing with your thumbs where you just
- 18:33Speaker 2: twirl them and you just sit in your house and think, understandably, understandably,
- 18:38Speaker 2: but again, you did the first step.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You came here.
- 18:40Speaker 4: I try to talk to people because that's another thing,
- 18:44Speaker 4: like just getting down my comfort zone, because I'm very
- 18:47Speaker 4: introverted I.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Mean you literally went on a dating instagram for Abby
- 18:51Speaker 2: with Bais on Bay Short. Yeah, that's crazy cool that,
- 18:55Speaker 2: Like you literally in the New City.
- 18:56Speaker 1: You're like, all right, I'll step up to this plate.
- 18:58Speaker 3: But your instagram is all about putting yourself out there,
- 19:01Speaker 3: like you are an introvert and do things by yourself,
- 19:03Speaker 3: and so like, what are you learning about doing things
- 19:06Speaker 3: alone this weekend? Like what have you learned?
- 19:08Speaker 4: Oh?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Good question.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I think just in general, the more I do it,
- 19:16Speaker 4: the more I'm learning. Is like when you're out alone,
- 19:19Speaker 4: people don't care. Yeah that's sitting at a bar having
- 19:23Speaker 4: a beer or something, or just like eating lunch by yourself.
- 19:27Speaker 4: No one's paying attention. M hmm, even though it feels like,
- 19:32Speaker 4: you know, weird to be there by yourself. Like eating
- 19:34Speaker 4: a meal has always been like a really hard thing
- 19:37Speaker 4: for me to do. I'd always get a pick up
- 19:40Speaker 4: order and take it home.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because you feel like eyes are on you, Like
- 19:42Speaker 2: I get that. You go into a room and it's
- 19:44Speaker 2: like our fear to be like we're the only ones
- 19:46Speaker 2: that are alone, and everybody in our mind, everyone's like
- 19:49Speaker 2: stop what they're doing and look at us. And in
- 19:52Speaker 2: my head, my head goes and they're making fun of you,
- 19:54Speaker 2: and I'm like, that's so shitty. The reality is I
- 19:58Speaker 2: love that lesson the more you do and you go
- 20:00Speaker 2: and see, the more you realize. Wait a second, everyone
- 20:03Speaker 2: has their own bs going on. Nobody cares. They're on
- 20:06Speaker 2: their own journey, just like you are on yours.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Well, I think also, this is really my first trip
- 20:14Speaker 4: by myself. I mean I moved to Texas by myself,
- 20:18Speaker 4: so I was like a two year trip. But I
- 20:21Speaker 4: think that's like a good starting point for people, is
- 20:25Speaker 4: going out alone in a city that no one knows
- 20:28Speaker 4: you where, Like if you're back in your hometown, it
- 20:32Speaker 4: might feel weirder to do that. Yeah, it's I feel
- 20:36Speaker 4: like it's a lot easier to give myself or like
- 20:38Speaker 4: felt a lot more comfortable because I'm just like, no
- 20:41Speaker 4: one knows me here. Yeah, I mean now now some
- 20:45Speaker 4: people do, I know.
- 20:46Speaker 3: So we were actually on almost at the belt line.
- 20:49Speaker 3: We were out on Bay Shore yesterday. I was interviewing
- 20:51Speaker 3: him for bays on Base Short and we're walking by
- 20:53Speaker 3: and this guy first recognized me. He's like, oh, you're
- 20:55Speaker 3: the girl that does the interviews, and like that's me,
- 20:57Speaker 3: And then I pointed to Jake and I said, do
- 20:59Speaker 3: you know this guy? And he goes, what, I just
- 21:02Speaker 3: saw your video this week, and oh my god, he
- 21:04Speaker 3: comes over. I interviewed him for Base on Bay Shore
- 21:07Speaker 3: so that I will go up later this week. But
- 21:08Speaker 3: then you guys went down to Channel Side and you
- 21:11Speaker 3: spent an evening of bromance together. Where did where did Griffin,
- 21:16Speaker 3: our new friend take you? After I left?
- 21:19Speaker 4: So we went to lower Deck?
- 21:20Speaker 3: Okay?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Nice and I.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Think we're there for hour and a half, two hours
- 21:27Speaker 4: nice and I mean just get to know each other
- 21:30Speaker 4: talking about all different types of stuff.
- 21:34Speaker 3: The Bucks Stadium.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Dating actually have a lot of dating.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Talk, the rings and hat tricks.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yeah, no, we did talk about that too.
- 21:48Speaker 2: We don't need any complex conversation. We can talk about
- 21:50Speaker 2: wings for an hour.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Easy to pick up and lower deck is great. I've
- 21:53Speaker 3: been with Miranda, who was on our podcast with Shay,
- 21:56Speaker 3: your friend Miranda. She takes me to lower Deck all
- 21:58Speaker 3: the time, and I'm always the oldest person by like
- 22:00Speaker 3: ten years there, and I'm like, oh my god, where
- 22:02Speaker 3: did these teenagers come from? It's just like a bunch.
- 22:05Speaker 3: It's a younger bar. But I don't know what the
- 22:06Speaker 3: bibe is on like a Monday. I've only been on
- 22:08Speaker 3: like Fridays or Saturdays.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Well, what is above it? American American social social? That
- 22:14Speaker 4: place was packed. Oh it was lower deck. We were
- 22:18Speaker 4: the only people really there.
- 22:20Speaker 3: But am so being packed is interesting. I've never been
- 22:23Speaker 3: there on like a Monday. Yeah, I and either ye,
- 22:27Speaker 3: I don't know, Like he's funny.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Let me ask, I don't even know the hell are
- 22:31Speaker 1: you twenty eight?
- 22:32Speaker 3: Oh?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Okay, so you're like our age man.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Good for you for stepping out, because I do love
- 22:36Speaker 2: that you said one you're an introvert, but two you
- 22:38Speaker 2: are really showing like a lot of courage and being
- 22:40Speaker 2: like I'm gonna literally get on a podcast, go on
- 22:43Speaker 2: a dating show, traveling in New City, go to all
- 22:45Speaker 2: these new places, go out on a romance with a
- 22:47Speaker 2: new guy.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I just met. I'll tell you what.
- 22:49Speaker 2: That whole introvert inside of you, that thing's melting away.
- 22:52Speaker 2: You're almost becoming an extrovert just a little bit.
- 22:56Speaker 3: He's like, it's okay to be an introvert. I think
- 22:59Speaker 3: ever one's kind of born is either an introvert or
- 23:01Speaker 3: an extrovert, Like depending where you get your energy from.
- 23:04Speaker 3: But maybe you're flexing a muscle that doesn't feel natural
- 23:07Speaker 3: to you. And maybe that's to be outgoing, because maybe outgoing.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Being outgoing comes with like the fear of like someone
- 23:12Speaker 3: to judge me for sitting at a bar by myself.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I don't know, So yeah, here you go.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Yeah, no, definitely, Yeah, I am the introvert side of me.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Even yesterday I was like, I I really just want
- 23:24Speaker 4: to stay home, stay there BnB. I'm I'm very like
- 23:27Speaker 4: socially drained. Oh yeah, but like what am I? I'm
- 23:31Speaker 4: just gonna sit here and do nothing, Like I can't
- 23:33Speaker 4: waste a day of Tampa and like that came on
- 23:38Speaker 4: a strip for a reason, that's exactly right. So I
- 23:40Speaker 4: had to force myself a little bit more yesterday to
- 23:43Speaker 4: come out.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm weirdly inspired.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I really am of just going out there and seeing
- 23:48Speaker 2: what could happen. And I do think with a lot
- 23:50Speaker 2: of the people that are hitting you up, obviously you
- 23:52Speaker 2: have become somebody in Tampa that people are paying attention to.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And I'm curious if this girl is to reach back out,
- 24:00Speaker 2: what would you do. Let's say, all of a sudden,
- 24:02Speaker 2: you get back on that plane today this afternoon and
- 24:05Speaker 2: she's like, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Was in the shower seven days.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Will response be would you give her another shot? Would
- 24:15Speaker 2: you maybe try to hear her out? Or would it
- 24:18Speaker 2: just be a I'm gonna just leave you and read
- 24:20Speaker 2: on read and never go back to that.
- 24:22Speaker 1: What are your thoughts with that one?
- 24:25Speaker 4: So I'm always I'm pretty bad at like not replying
- 24:28Speaker 4: to people. Mm hm, Like I feel like I always
- 24:30Speaker 4: have to reply. So I don't think i'd leave her
- 24:34Speaker 4: on red, but i'd be I'd be curious to hear
- 24:38Speaker 4: what maybe the explanation is. But yeah, not not not
- 24:43Speaker 4: a second chance.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Yeah, stick with that because I have a feeling, I
- 24:46Speaker 2: don't know, my intuition is saying she is going to
- 24:48Speaker 2: try to reach out once you get back home. It's
- 24:51Speaker 2: going to be a some kind of crazy excuse something
- 24:54Speaker 2: that's gonna have to cover four days of why she
- 24:56Speaker 2: couldn't reach out, and she's going to try to lure
- 24:58Speaker 2: herself back into your life.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And it's maybe because she.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Wants attention, Like why do we think I don't know,
- 25:03Speaker 2: what are your thoughts from this side, Like why do
- 25:05Speaker 2: you think she would have done.
- 25:06Speaker 1: All this just to ghost at the last second?
- 25:09Speaker 4: How was the goal.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I think I don't think there was a goal here.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I think maybe she's one of those people that feels
- 25:15Speaker 3: more comfortable existing in a relationship when there's some some
- 25:18Speaker 3: kind of distance, Like she feels safe having a relationship
- 25:22Speaker 3: with you because you live in Idaho and it's digital,
- 25:24Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden became very real when
- 25:26Speaker 3: you were coming here. And maybe she has multiple guys
- 25:32Speaker 3: that she talks to and this it's an attention thing,
- 25:34Speaker 3: like maybe she slides into their dms and she enjoys
- 25:38Speaker 3: having the commitment and the interest from lots of guys
- 25:41Speaker 3: and making plans. Can just feel like this thing that
- 25:44Speaker 3: just sort of like, oh, we should go to Nashville,
- 25:46Speaker 3: all these things, and that's a way for her to
- 25:49Speaker 3: get the validation and feel like she's in a relationship
- 25:51Speaker 3: within a space that's comfortable for her. And then when
- 25:55Speaker 3: you took it seriously, you're like, I really like this girl.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I think that kind of popped the bubble in this
- 26:01Speaker 3: fantasy world that she lives in. And I don't mean
- 26:04Speaker 3: fantasy world as in a way to like belittle her,
- 26:07Speaker 3: but yeah, I don't know how old she is. If
- 26:11Speaker 3: it's just an immaturity thing to where she thinks that's okay.
- 26:13Speaker 3: But like you know, when you're twenty eight, twenty nine,
- 26:16Speaker 3: thirty and you're looking for someone, you're gonna take that
- 26:18Speaker 3: seriously and like you're gonna make the steps for it
- 26:20Speaker 3: to be a real relationship. And I don't think she's
- 26:21Speaker 3: there yet. I think she's probably still in the I
- 26:24Speaker 3: want to be entertained, I want to be validated, or
- 26:26Speaker 3: I'm not ready for a relationship that exists in the
- 26:28Speaker 3: real world. That's my take.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I think it's I mean, that's what I was thinking too,
- 26:32Speaker 2: like when I've heard similar stories, But for me, it
- 26:37Speaker 2: looks like, yeah, like somebody that wants the attention, they
- 26:39Speaker 2: know that you would go the lengths to travel to them. Now,
- 26:42Speaker 2: whether they actually wanted to meet up, no, but it's
- 26:44Speaker 2: like a weird I'm gonna use this phrase, but like
- 26:46Speaker 2: they get off on it.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Ah, look at that.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I have somebody that's willing to travel for me or
- 26:51Speaker 2: talk to me or give me attention. And then when
- 26:54Speaker 2: you actually go the distance, they're like, ooh, that's not
- 26:57Speaker 2: what I wanted. No, whoa wait, wait, wait, wait a second.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I just want to know I could get it, which again,
- 27:02Speaker 2: you're talking to a real person. That's shitty. That sucks.
- 27:07Speaker 2: So honestly, Jake, I'm sorry that you've had to go
- 27:10Speaker 2: through that. That's not fair and nobody should be treating
- 27:12Speaker 2: others like that, But you just happened to be on
- 27:14Speaker 2: that side of the stick this one time.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Yeah, And I mean it's very unconventional, but I feel
- 27:23Speaker 4: like dating nowadays is very like it's it's tough, it's
- 27:27Speaker 4: tough to meet people, and there's all different ways to
- 27:29Speaker 4: do it.
- 27:29Speaker 1: M hm.
- 27:31Speaker 4: So I was like, it seemed weird in the moment,
- 27:35Speaker 4: but as I thought about it was like people meet
- 27:37Speaker 4: in all different ways, Like why why can't I meet
- 27:40Speaker 4: someone this way? Yeah? So yeah, I'll take the risk
- 27:43Speaker 4: to fly out.
- 27:43Speaker 3: But I don't think you did anything wrong. I think
- 27:48Speaker 3: this girl is playing a game that you weren't playing.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I think you were really serious about it, and I
- 27:53Speaker 3: think she's either really young and immature and maybe has
- 27:57Speaker 3: a roster because I've gone through something similar, because I
- 28:00Speaker 3: always joke with Scotty and like I have this quote
- 28:01Speaker 3: unquote curse where guys will slide into my DMS and
- 28:04Speaker 3: ask me out and then they just go MIA And
- 28:06Speaker 3: I've never understood that either, I'm like, what was the point, Like,
- 28:08Speaker 3: you did the hard thing, you asked me out, and
- 28:10Speaker 3: there's always some other their ex came back into the picture.
- 28:14Speaker 3: They just want the validation of knowing you would say. Yes,
- 28:17Speaker 3: they just like to breadcrumb you for fun, but they're
- 28:19Speaker 3: not ready for something serious. So I think ultimately you
- 28:22Speaker 3: dodged a bullet by not having to actually get into
- 28:24Speaker 3: a relationship with this girl. Like in a weird way,
- 28:26Speaker 3: she did you a favor, it was just in a
- 28:27Speaker 3: horrible roundabout way that did not need to go this far.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I don't understand any of that. Like
- 28:36Speaker 4: playing games, I've never It's never made sense to me.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I guess. Yeah, Like, just tell people what you think
- 28:44Speaker 4: or what your intentions are, what your goals are.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Like, people are fucked up, Jake. I hate to be
- 28:50Speaker 3: the one to bring the world brother. I hate to
- 28:53Speaker 3: break this to you twenty eight years into real life,
- 28:55Speaker 3: but people are fucked up and they do things for
- 28:58Speaker 3: their own weird, selfish gade. And I'm not here to
- 29:01Speaker 3: shame this girl. I'm just saying I think before I
- 29:05Speaker 3: think you should have stopped him before he bought the
- 29:07Speaker 3: plane ticket.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, before you spend your money on that.
- 29:11Speaker 3: That's when you ghost. I lost him before he buys
- 29:14Speaker 3: the plane ticket.
- 29:15Speaker 4: There was even an opportunity because we were talking about it,
- 29:18Speaker 4: and obviously I was didn't know exactly like where she
- 29:22Speaker 4: lives or anything, but was looking for hotels, air beingb
- 29:26Speaker 4: close by so we can just like ride together for
- 29:29Speaker 4: whatever doing. And so I was telling her all the
- 29:33Speaker 4: things I was booking, and she asked like, all right,
- 29:35Speaker 4: how much are you spending? Oh? And I told her
- 29:40Speaker 4: and she was like, wait, that's a lot. Like we
- 29:43Speaker 4: need to FaceTime right now and talk about this. I
- 29:46Speaker 4: feel bad that you're spending, like spending that much money
- 29:49Speaker 4: to come down here. So we facetimed like talked it over,
- 29:55Speaker 4: and she she was like really concerned about me spending
- 29:58Speaker 4: all that money to come down here here, and I
- 30:01Speaker 4: was like, that was like something I want to do,
- 30:02Speaker 4: and like I haven't been to Tampa. It'd be a fun,
- 30:05Speaker 4: fun experience. And then yeah, we get to meet and
- 30:09Speaker 4: yeah I don't I don't have to do it all alone,
- 30:12Speaker 4: which is another plus.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Did she say Okay, go for it.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I mean she still was kind of like hesitant. I
- 30:21Speaker 4: guess on it. I'm just like she just felt bad
- 30:25Speaker 4: of being that expensive, but she never said like.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Don't, don't do it, don't come to Tampa.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Eventually like okay, like it, Yeah, it'll be fun. And
- 30:34Speaker 4: then that's when we started like planning out the weekend
- 30:36Speaker 4: and what we were gonna do.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Was she supposed to pick you up at the airport?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Was that part of it?
- 30:42Speaker 4: No? Okay, No, I got a rental car, So thank god.
- 30:47Speaker 1: The airport for hours as the sun's rising.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Well, that would have been horrible because an uber an
- 30:54Speaker 4: hour away would have been expensive.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's so true.
- 30:57Speaker 2: That is one day and I know I hate I'm
- 31:01Speaker 2: gonna say it because I think we're all thinking one
- 31:03Speaker 2: day you'll look back and laugh and it'll be a
- 31:05Speaker 2: hell of a story.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yeah, when it all makes sense and you're just sitting there.
- 31:08Speaker 3: This is some funny lore. And I hope somebody listening
- 31:11Speaker 3: right now feels seen by your story.
- 31:13Speaker 1: The crazy.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Maybe they didn't get like drawn into a weekend long
- 31:17Speaker 3: trip with a girl who ghosted, but everyone's been there
- 31:20Speaker 3: in some capacity where you thought you were getting to
- 31:22Speaker 3: know someone and it felt genuine, and for whatever reason,
- 31:25Speaker 3: they felt they would have rather stayed in the superficial
- 31:28Speaker 3: let's play games and me get validation land. So thank
- 31:31Speaker 3: you for your vulnerability. You want to put your your
- 31:37Speaker 3: stuff out there? Do you want to say, Hey, I'm
- 31:39Speaker 3: into this kind of girl, this kind of girl if
- 31:40Speaker 3: you're listening, hit me up sliding to the dms, not
- 31:43Speaker 3: that you're gonna check them. I know.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I was like, look at your comments.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I'm like, everybody on your TikTok right now is one
- 31:48Speaker 2: your biggest fan too. There's a lot of ladies that
- 31:50Speaker 2: are like, oh hey, Jake. I don't know if that's
- 31:53Speaker 2: what they sound like. I hope not, but I think
- 31:55Speaker 2: there's a lot of interest here and a lot of
- 31:57Speaker 2: people are rooting for one particular lady very at the top.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And what's crazy side tangent, Before you give out all
- 32:01Speaker 2: your deats, there's a lot of people that have.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Gone through this situation.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So like, before you feel too hard on yourself or
- 32:08Speaker 2: you feel like, oh my god, did I make a mistake,
- 32:10Speaker 2: a lot of people have been in that same position.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You're not the only one that has been bamboozled. So
- 32:15Speaker 1: it's not on you, it's on the person.
- 32:17Speaker 2: But back to now, setting you up with the actual
- 32:20Speaker 2: right person, who are you looking for?
- 32:22Speaker 3: Jake, who is that girl who doesn't live in Tampa?
- 32:25Speaker 4: True?
- 32:26Speaker 1: That girl scarred for life?
- 32:28Speaker 4: I mean yeah, Now, ideally someone who lives in Idaho
- 32:31Speaker 4: would be nice.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Where in Idaho are you located.
- 32:34Speaker 4: The Boise area?
- 32:35Speaker 1: Okay?
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't find someone in Boise. What's going on?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Yea, not yet, Abby, I'm looking.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Let's gout someone on the west coast California, Oregonattle.
- 32:46Speaker 2: He decided to come all the way to the east coast.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Man likes some sky miles. Yeah, no, for sure, he
- 32:53Speaker 2: is hoping for some tan Flaridian. Okay, who are you
- 32:57Speaker 2: looking for? What does she what is her interests? Would
- 32:59Speaker 2: interest you you?
- 33:02Speaker 4: Yeah, this is always a tough question for me.
- 33:04Speaker 3: No, it's not What do you like, Jake? What do
- 33:06Speaker 3: you like? It's not that hard.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I mean it is hard hard, it's hard to describe it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: What do you do? You're looking for someone who's also introverted?
- 33:18Speaker 1: Do you want to?
- 33:18Speaker 4: Yeah? Sorry, that that helps a lot. Yeah, definitely, like
- 33:22Speaker 4: like someone more extroverted or outgoing than me. But like, yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 4: not too far to where it's like we're leaving the
- 33:31Speaker 4: house or leaving like on a date every single night. Yeah,
- 33:36Speaker 4: I want to have that little balance of like, yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 4: it helps me get out, but also fine with sitting
- 33:43Speaker 4: on the couch for a night.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, someone who has good balance in their life
- 33:47Speaker 3: when it comes to social socializing. Someone who's not out constantly.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and definitely like can carry conversations or like, like
- 33:57Speaker 4: carry on conversations, not just land answers. Yeah, it's not
- 34:02Speaker 4: gonna go it's gonna go nowhere fast.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Because yeah, you gotta know your match, like somebody that's
- 34:07Speaker 2: able to like racketball with you, that knows your energy
- 34:10Speaker 2: and knows how to continue to make sure you shine.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Is it somebody that maybe like, do you like pets?
- 34:14Speaker 1: Do you like sports? Do you like travel?
- 34:18Speaker 4: Yeah? I mean definitely a dog person.
- 34:21Speaker 1: You have a dog.
- 34:23Speaker 4: I don't. Everyone in my family does, so I get
- 34:27Speaker 4: a lot of my.
- 34:28Speaker 3: So you want one day for her to be cool
- 34:30Speaker 3: with you getting a dog?
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, Oh that's sweet.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I didn't know people weren't dog people growing up. I
- 34:36Speaker 3: love dogs. All my family has dogs, and I didn't
- 34:40Speaker 3: realize as adults grown people are okay with saying they
- 34:42Speaker 3: don't like dogs. I'm like, that's like saying you hate babies. Babies,
- 34:46Speaker 3: which I do do say, but I feel like that's
- 34:50Speaker 3: more understandable. But like dogs are like it's like peric
- 34:53Speaker 3: he love. Yeah, they're fluffy, they're sweet kids. Yeah, they'll
- 34:58Speaker 3: ruin your life.
- 34:59Speaker 1: That was kidding.
- 35:02Speaker 3: So she has to like dogs, she has to be
- 35:05Speaker 3: she has to have a good balance in her social life.
- 35:07Speaker 3: She got to stay in but want to go out sometimes.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Maybe be a little bit more outgoing than you naturally are.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I mean you'd.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Be like a religious preference.
- 35:18Speaker 4: No, not really, I'm open minded, yeah, but yeah, I
- 35:22Speaker 4: just maybe yeah, a little outdoorsy or like do you
- 35:28Speaker 4: like and stuff? Yeah, every once in a while. And
- 35:31Speaker 4: I know it is like very big outdoor scene like camping, lakes, rivers,
- 35:37Speaker 4: that type of stuff.
- 35:38Speaker 3: So someone who's cool with sleeping in a tent.
- 35:40Speaker 1: That's right, getting down in the dirt, that's right.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Or yeah, someone that either wants to play golf with me,
- 35:48Speaker 4: learn golf, or just you know, riding the cart Okay,
- 35:52Speaker 4: come hang out.
- 35:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna find you like a cart girl in Boise.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I was gonna say there's a lot
- 35:56Speaker 1: of cart girls here, but sure Boise too.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I know I think somehow I feel like the
- 36:01Speaker 3: cart girls in Boise, or maybe a little cart girls
- 36:04Speaker 3: down here.
- 36:06Speaker 4: We're actually there's only not every golf course uses them.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Well cart girls. Yeah, it's a very niche audience.
- 36:13Speaker 4: It's kind of slowed down over there.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Somebody that's down to go and do sports. Would you
- 36:17Speaker 2: want somebody to go to like maybe like the football.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Games with you? Oh yeah, definitely.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Who does she have to be a fan of or
- 36:24Speaker 3: fake being a fan of?
- 36:27Speaker 4: Honestly, it doesn't matter to me.
- 36:28Speaker 1: They say that now all of a sudden, your teams
- 36:30Speaker 1: are playing each other.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Are you a Packers fan? Who's the Packer's biggest rival?
- 36:36Speaker 3: If she's a Bear span, how are you feeling about this?
- 36:40Speaker 3: If she's like I love Colston Loveland that yeah he's yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 3: oh he is, Yeah, I love He has that one
- 36:48Speaker 3: TikTok where he did karaoke and I was like, oh
- 36:49Speaker 3: my god, I would want to play football with that dude.
- 36:52Speaker 3: He seems so cool.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, it's it's it's not that big of
- 36:55Speaker 4: a deal, honestly.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Okay, I don't get the sense you get rattled by
- 36:59Speaker 3: a lot.
- 37:00Speaker 4: No, I'm pretty much like the best way. I'm just
- 37:04Speaker 4: kind of like a flat line all the time.
- 37:05Speaker 1: They go cool, calm and collected ladies.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Yeah, if you're looking at Jakey's tall, he's got good skin,
- 37:13Speaker 5: a nice beard, a good build, he's thin, he's likes
- 37:16Speaker 5: they outdoors, he loves dogs, and he's there to just
- 37:19Speaker 5: hear every bit of what you have to say.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Jake, not from State Farm, Jake and Idaho. I thank
- 37:26Speaker 3: you Jake from Idaho. I'm sorry she ghosted you, but
- 37:29Speaker 3: I hope that you got to experience the fullness of
- 37:32Speaker 3: what Tampa Bay has to offer. And I hope that
- 37:34Speaker 3: you look back fondly on your wings from hat tricks.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I mean it definitely was. I think still
- 37:41Speaker 4: a positive trip coming down here. And yeah, I got
- 37:46Speaker 4: to explore a lot of cool things that I don't
- 37:48Speaker 4: know if I would have seen otherwise. So I think
- 37:51Speaker 4: overall it's it's at least halfway a win.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Okay, absolutely worth the trip.
- 37:56Speaker 2: And here's what I'll say, if you ever come back
- 37:58Speaker 2: to Tampa, which you know on the flight, think about it.

- 38:03Speaker 2: show you the right things to do. We will get
- 38:04Speaker 2: you access to things in Tampa Bay that you probably

- 38:16Speaker 3: Jack, it's Jakes.
- 38:20Speaker 4: I saw a couple of it, but I never like,
- 38:22Speaker 4: I didn't, I didn't look it up.
- 38:23Speaker 3: The theme park.
- 38:25Speaker 4: That's a theme park roller coaster.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a six Flags. Oh but with animals,
- 38:29Speaker 3: it's like it's like Bootleg Animal Kingdom.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Well see, yeah, I saw a comment about that like yesterday,
- 38:36Speaker 4: and I was already playing on doing the beach thing.
- 38:38Speaker 4: So yeah, it's a good. Yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 2: When when you come back, reach out and be like,
- 38:42Speaker 2: what should I do this time? We literally talk about
- 38:44Speaker 2: that like every other week. Of the new places that
- 38:47Speaker 2: have popped up where to go visit, people reach out
- 38:49Speaker 2: a lot and they're like, I'm going to Tampa.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Where should I eat? We'll give you other places the

- 39:08Speaker 3: But I have a feeling you'll have some interesting memories
- 39:11Speaker 3: from this trip.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and you're in a podcast.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Now, well, how random you come into a new city
- 39:16Speaker 2: man sitting in a radio station in the city.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah. Never done this before either.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Hey, you know what, I think the trip was worth it.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Not fun getting ghosted, but fun seeing how you could
- 39:26Speaker 2: grow in unexpected ways.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Was this on your twenty twenty six Bingo card?
- 39:30Speaker 2: It was not me either, Jake, me either. But you
- 39:33Speaker 2: know what, we're rooting for you. What is a way
- 39:36Speaker 2: that do you want.
- 39:37Speaker 1: To put out your social so people can connect with you?
- 39:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:40Speaker 1: No, how could people follow you? Or could they look?
- 39:44Speaker 4: Yeah TikTok Instagram? Same user name just Jake p nineteen eleven.
- 39:49Speaker 1: They have.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Ye.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Now I do read every DM oh and for the
- 39:57Speaker 4: most part with the accept in the past few days,
- 40:01Speaker 4: I always read in every comment and try to respond
- 40:04Speaker 4: to as much as I can. But yeah, just got
- 40:08Speaker 4: a little busy the past couple of days, and there
- 40:10Speaker 4: was a lot of them.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Yeah, have fun on the plane looking through all the
- 40:12Speaker 2: comments in the dms. Yeah, people are gonna be very
- 40:15Speaker 2: there you go, Jake, have a safe trip back, my friend.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Thanks you.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Swinging by and good luck on the dating adventures.
