Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Big 98.7. In the world of rules and gray areas,
- 0:04Speaker 1: one morning show dares to ask the hard questions. We
- 0:07Speaker 1: both know you're guilty. He's guilty. Is it legal? You're
- 0:11Speaker 1: guilty of the worst crime of all. On Big 98.7.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Now, according to Angie and Megan, it is against the
- 0:21Speaker 2: law if you have a three-month-old daughter to not carve
- 0:25Speaker 2: out a pumpkin, place her right in that bad boy,
- 0:27Speaker 2: and get some adorable Halloween photos.
- 0:29Speaker 3: That is illegal. Yes.
- 0:31Speaker 1: 100%.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Okay, my cousin has a five-month-old as of today, and
- 0:36Speaker 4: she did this, and she was the one who put
- 0:37Speaker 4: the idea that it is illegal if you have a
- 0:39Speaker 4: baby and you're not doing this.
- 0:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 6: Oh.
- 0:41Speaker 3: She seemed like a lot professional.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Well, it's a good thing I have independent research skills.
- 0:47Speaker 7: Okay. A.K.A.
- 0:49Speaker 3: We're wrong.
- 0:50Speaker 7: A.K.A. Google, okay?
- 0:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Now, I want to say I am not against the cuteness,
- 0:55Speaker 2: all right? I just don't want to carve a pumpkin.
- 0:58Speaker 2: They smell. The guts are gross. The cleanup sucks. is
- 1:01Speaker 2: an absolute nightmare, and then I gotta give her a
- 1:04Speaker 2: bath after. It's just a lot more of a process
- 1:08Speaker 2: than I would be willing to go through. But, according
- 1:12Speaker 2: to the law, the Constitution, and the North Dakota Constitution,
- 1:17Speaker 2: it is not... illegal to not put your baby in
- 1:21Speaker 2: a pumpkin and get a photo.
- 1:23Speaker 4: How do we change this law?
- 1:25Speaker 7: Nobody's going to come to my door.
- 1:27Speaker 2: The worst case is I'll just get judged at brunch
- 1:30Speaker 2: next time. So I will probably not be doing this now.
- 1:34Speaker 2: There is a slight alternative that has been proposed.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Okay. What's the slight alternative?
- 1:39Speaker 7: That you would do it.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Well, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:41Speaker 4: You did that yesterday like multiple times over?
- 1:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I like pumpkin guts. So, yeah. We'll scoop it out.
- 1:49Speaker 3: We'll carve it out. You just provide the cutie baby.
- 1:53Speaker 4: And we'll make it happen.
- 1:54Speaker 2: That I can do. I would back that. But I
- 1:57Speaker 2: don't want to deal with pumpkin life.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I thought we already discussed this yesterday and you were
- 2:01Speaker 4: still somehow against it. But now it's okay?
- 2:03Speaker 5: Well.
- 2:05Speaker 4: A change in your mind.
- 2:05Speaker 3: It's because the court of public opinion was about to
- 2:07Speaker 3: get involved. Oh, no.
- 2:10Speaker 7: No, no, no, no. I couldn't care less about that.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But there will have to be a bath afterwards, and
- 2:16Speaker 2: we'll have to maybe talk about it with Corey. I
- 2:19Speaker 2: gave Kaylee a bath the other day, and she screamed.
- 2:22Speaker 2: And so I'm, like, terrified of bath time now.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Oh, that's really what it comes down to.
- 2:27Speaker 3: You need to face some adversity, Gabe.
- 2:30Speaker 7: Now I'm just the little helper.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I get the washcloths and put the stuff in the
- 2:37Speaker 2: washing machine afterwards.
- 2:39Speaker 7: But hey, good news.
- 2:40Speaker 2: If you have a baby and you don't want to
- 2:42Speaker 2: put them in a pumpkin for Halloween, you will not
- 2:45Speaker 2: be breaking the law.
- 2:46Speaker 4: It is frowned upon, though, and I am judging you.
- 2:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Celebrating life's little victories. Victory. Every morning we practice gratitude
- 2:57Speaker 1: on Big 98.7.
- 2:57Speaker 7: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:01Speaker 7: plastic jar. Bust it out whenever someone's acting hard. I
- 3:04Speaker 7: just really needed a win, you know.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Share your little victories with us at 701-280-1987.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Is there anyone on earth who has to ask, what
- 3:13Speaker 5: do I always say?
- 3:15Speaker 1: I know.
- 3:15Speaker 3: You're a mess. You're a whole mess.
- 3:18Speaker 7: Oh, my God. That made me laugh. I'm sorry.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I know.
- 3:21Speaker 4: It's like you're over there laughing at yourself so hard.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I love that you find yourself so amusing. I know.
- 3:27Speaker 7: What is this job? What is this world that we
- 3:29Speaker 7: live in?
- 3:29Speaker 3: Oh, I know. Radio's not real, and I love it.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Who wakes up and goes, hey, what's that thing.
- 3:34Speaker 7: I always say? Who does that? All of us. Oh,
- 3:38Speaker 7: that makes me laugh. Megan, do you have a little
- 3:40Speaker 7: victory today?
- 3:41Speaker 4: I do, as a matter of fact. So one thing
- 3:43Speaker 4: that I am, and this might be a really big
- 3:45Speaker 4: victory in a sense, but I am very excited because
- 3:48Speaker 4: come in November, for the first time I'm going to
- 3:50Speaker 4: New York City. I am going to the Macy's Thanksgiving
- 3:52Speaker 4: Day Parade. It has been a bucket list dream of
- 3:54Speaker 4: mine forever. And over the weekend, my friends and I
- 3:57Speaker 4: got our tickets booked. So it's becoming real real.
- 4:00Speaker 7: It's like sank in a little bit. Yeah, exactly.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I was like, oh my gosh, this is happening. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 4: so excited.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Once the tickets are booked.
- 4:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Then it's really going to happen.
- 4:10Speaker 7: There's no going back. No, not at all.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So Andrew, what's your little win?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Um, you know what? I washed my hair today.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I get it girl.
- 4:20Speaker 3: It had been 84 years. It's been a long time.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Yeah, we could tell. Um, No, I'm just kidding.
- 4:27Speaker 4: No, you hush your face over there.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I'm just kidding. The thing is, you know, it's hard
- 4:31Speaker 3: as a lady to like you try to time your
- 4:34Speaker 3: hair washes with like, when am I going to work out?
- 4:37Speaker 3: When do I have to be out in public? And
- 4:39Speaker 3: it's very hard to time that. But because I'm dressing
- 4:42Speaker 3: up every day for Halloweek. I just got to wash
- 4:47Speaker 3: my hair, brush it, and then just throw it up
- 4:48Speaker 3: and not do anything with it. And that was major
- 4:52Speaker 3: because half the battle is washing. And then the other
- 4:56Speaker 3: half of the battle is actually doing your hair. Exactly.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Blow dry.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yes.
- 5:01Speaker 3: And I didn't have to do that. So my head
- 5:04Speaker 3: feels fresh and clean. And I had to put no
- 5:07Speaker 3: extra effort, which is a little victory indeed. What about you, Gabe?
- 5:12Speaker 7: My little victory.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Yesterday during the show.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Do you remember when I asked Corey if I was
- 5:16Speaker 2: a sexy Vikings fan and she was like, yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 7: Also, when you get home, I need you to.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 2: OK, well, what she needed me to do was a
- 5:24Speaker 2: tiny bit of like cooking kind of. We have these
- 5:27Speaker 2: crockpots sitting out on our island, as you've seen in
- 5:31Speaker 2: my kitchen.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And there were these measurements of ingredients that I had
- 5:37Speaker 2: to add to said crockpots.
- 5:39Speaker 7: Now, I don't know if you know this about me.
- 5:41Speaker 7: I don't really do measurements.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 5:43Speaker 7: I just kind of guess and hope.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Okay. That is very game coded.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 2: But being that she had worked so hard on this
- 5:50Speaker 2: in the morning, I didn't want to royally screw it
- 5:53Speaker 2: up when I got back. So I actually got out.
- 5:56Speaker 2: the measuring cups, you know, the tablespoon and the teaspoon
- 6:00Speaker 2: and the half cup. And I measured all of the
- 6:02Speaker 2: salts and all of the peppers and all the other
- 6:05Speaker 2: junk that had to go in it.
- 6:06Speaker 7: And it turned out just excellent.
- 6:09Speaker 3: What did you make?
- 6:10Speaker 7: What did she make?
- 6:11Speaker 3: And then you helped.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 6:13Speaker 7: And it was like.
- 6:15Speaker 2: You don't even know. It was meatballs and mashed potatoes.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Oh.
- 6:20Speaker 7: The Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Oh, I love a good Swedish meatball.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And the mashed potatoes had to have a bunch of
- 6:27Speaker 2: just stuff with them to flavor them up.
- 6:29Speaker 7: And same thing with the... I had to grab starch.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Oh, is this a new thing for you?
- 6:34Speaker 7: I didn't even know we had starch in our house.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Not many. Of course you wouldn't know. Right.
- 6:40Speaker 4: You're not cooking. You're not begging.
- 6:42Speaker 5: No.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Your boy was on fire, chefing it up like Salt
- 6:46Speaker 2: Bae yesterday.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:47Speaker 7: He's so proud of you.
- 6:50Speaker 9: Am I crazy or is pumpkin actually not that good?
- 6:56Speaker 9: I swear everyone is obsessed with it this time of year.
- 6:59Speaker 9: I mean, I can have a pumpkin latte, but actual
- 7:02Speaker 9: pumpkin pie or something is not good to me.
- 7:07Speaker 2: The reason I needed to share this with you from
- 7:10Speaker 2: Bethany is because Bethany is 1000% correct. Pumpkin is absolute
- 7:16Speaker 2: dog water to eat.
- 7:18Speaker 3: You are crazy, just like Bethany.
- 7:22Speaker 4: So you love all pumpkin?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Here's the thing.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I think pumpkin spice, that got to be too much. Like,
- 7:29Speaker 3: it doesn't have to be pumpkin spice everything. I get that.
- 7:33Speaker 3: But she said pumpkin pie?
- 7:35Speaker 4: Yeah, she's got a lot of... She's going to have
- 7:38Speaker 4: a lot of people argue with her. I'm not one
- 7:40Speaker 4: of them. I can't stand pumpkin everything.
- 7:43Speaker 8: What?
- 7:44Speaker 4: I do not like it.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Not even a little bit.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I'm on an island. I'm sorry, Angie.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Here's how I would justify this. I don't know if
- 7:51Speaker 2: you would know this or not, but pumpkin, like a
- 7:54Speaker 2: canned pumpkin.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Yeah, delicious.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Super good for your dog. Oh, very good for your dog.
- 7:59Speaker 7: Very good for their stomach.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Okay, well, call me a dog because I love it.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:03Speaker 2: It's like a hack to use if your dog has
- 8:05Speaker 2: an upset stomach, right? And I have begun living my
- 8:08Speaker 2: life over the past 35 and a half years. If
- 8:11Speaker 2: it's good for and my dog likes it, I probably don't.
- 8:14Speaker 3: That's your theory?
- 8:15Speaker 7: That's my theory.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Wow. Okay, no, pumpkin is, I think it's delicious.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I don't like anything about, I don't know. I've just never,
- 8:23Speaker 4: I've tried. Because I was like, okay, if this many
- 8:26Speaker 4: people like it, I'm a person who will at least
- 8:29Speaker 4: give it more than one try. Nope, I still do
- 8:32Speaker 4: not like it.
- 8:33Speaker 7: If everyone's saying it's good, it's probably good or whatever.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 7: You know, I'm like, oh, not everybody's wrong. I've tried
- 8:38Speaker 7: to like it, too. I can't. I can't figure out
- 8:40Speaker 7: how to like it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: That's how I feel about eggnog, but we'll discuss that
- 8:43Speaker 3: later down the road. But I, well, I guess you're
- 8:47Speaker 3: not crazy, Bethany. Or you are, but you've got two
- 8:50Speaker 3: crazos with you.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm just not one of them.
- 8:56Speaker 5: 701-280-1987.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Is Bethany on to something?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Is pumpkin, or pumpkin pie specifically, actually not that great
- 9:03Speaker 2: and one of the most overblown, overrated foods of all time?
- 9:07Speaker 2: You really took it far there.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:11Speaker 7: Let us know this morning at 701-280-1987.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Big 98.7.
- 9:16Speaker 6: All right, there's a new dating term, kind of a
- 9:24Speaker 6: dating trend that is making rounds, and it is called cushioning.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Cushioning?
- 9:30Speaker 3: Cushioning.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It is when you're in a relationship, you're happy enough,
- 9:35Speaker 2: but you keep a little backup plan around just in case.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Maybe it's an ex that you text.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 9:42Speaker 7: Maybe it's a dating profile you never deleted.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Maybe it's someone whose Instagram stories you just happen to
- 9:48Speaker 2: keep liking. And the idea is that if things fall apart,
- 9:52Speaker 2: you've got a soft landing. And dating experts say it
- 9:55Speaker 2: comes from being afraid of being alone, and they do
- 9:57Speaker 2: call it a form of microchip. cheating so the test
- 10:01Speaker 2: is pretty simple if your partner saw all your messages
- 10:03Speaker 2: would they be okay with it which makes me want
- 10:06Speaker 2: to know who has got themselves a dating backup plan
- 10:10Speaker 2: and is willing to admit it here on big 98.7
- 10:12Speaker 2: at 701-280- 1-9-8-7.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Well, keep your name anonymous.
- 10:17Speaker 3: You don't have to say your name, but just let
- 10:19Speaker 3: us know if you're doing this. This is fascinating to me.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I mean, I don't even have a date, so I
- 10:26Speaker 4: don't have a backup plan.
- 10:28Speaker 3: So that's where I'm at.
- 10:30Speaker 4: But also, I feel like you're just setting your relationship
- 10:34Speaker 4: up for failure by doing that. Like, come on. Give
- 10:38Speaker 4: it a chance.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I feel like if you aren't exclusive, if you're dating
- 10:42Speaker 3: someone semi-seriously, but there isn't the exclusive label on it,
- 10:46Speaker 3: then why do I feel like that's fine to have
- 10:48Speaker 3: a backup? But if your boyfriend, girlfriend, if you said
- 10:52Speaker 3: you're exclusive, then having a backup is rude.
- 10:55Speaker 4: The fact that you're just, you're holding somebody just out
- 10:58Speaker 4: here on the sidelines, just in case.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Am I a monster? No. Haven't we all done this though?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Had somebody in the back?
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 4: No, I haven't.
- 11:09Speaker 5: No?
- 11:10Speaker 3: I mean, it's one thing.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Like, you said, like, if you're dating, you're not exclusive.
- 11:15Speaker 7: Just casually?
- 11:16Speaker 3: Like, that's a little.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Different, but if you're in a relationship.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Going on dates?
- 11:20Speaker 7: Yeah, that's all right, isn't it?
- 11:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I think so.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You know what?
- 11:24Speaker 3: I will say, never when I was, like, exclusively in
- 11:27Speaker 3: a relationship did I have a backup, but I did
- 11:29Speaker 3: know that the second... me and the dude would break up,
- 11:34Speaker 3: that there would be a roster waiting to get in line.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And I don't even mean that, like, conceited the way
- 11:41Speaker 3: Gabe would.
- 11:42Speaker 1: But I know.
- 11:42Speaker 4: What you mean.
- 11:43Speaker 7: That's exactly how I would mean it.
- 11:46Speaker 3: No, but like, as a... Come on. As a girl,
- 11:49Speaker 3: there's always.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Oh, and even when you're in a relationship, they're trying
- 11:53Speaker 4: to slide in your DMs and you're telling them, I'm
- 11:55Speaker 4: in a relationship. But somehow when you say no, it
- 11:58Speaker 4: still means try harder.
- 11:59Speaker 3: In fact, if you're in a relationship, they're like, oh, okay,
- 12:02Speaker 3: so really I'm interested in you now. I feel like
- 12:05Speaker 3: if I had to guess... The people that are having
- 12:08Speaker 3: these backups are usually the dudes and not the girls.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Because the girls don't need the backup. They know that
- 12:14Speaker 3: as soon as they split, they crawl out of the woodwork.
- 12:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I actually kind of agree with that, to be honest.
- 12:20Speaker 2: We do have someone on the phone. We'll keep her anonymous.
- 12:24Speaker 2: What do you got for us?
- 12:25Speaker 8: Honestly, I've always wanted to travel, and Italy is at
- 12:29Speaker 8: the top of my list. If for some reason my
- 12:31Speaker 8: hubby and I don't work out, then I would like
- 12:34Speaker 8: to live there for a little while. And who knows?
- 12:37Speaker 8: Maybe I would find someone new there as well.
- 12:39Speaker 2: See, that's not that bad. That's just, I'm going to
- 12:41Speaker 2: get out of the country for.
- 12:42Speaker 7: A little bit. I don't think that's that bad. That's
- 12:45Speaker 7: a backup plan.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Or also, maybe she called the wrong... I.
- 12:48Speaker 7: Don't think so.
- 12:49Speaker 2: She was just saying she would go to a different
- 12:51Speaker 2: country if her and her husband divorced.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Honey, the assignment is to have a backup now.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Right?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Not a backup.
- 12:58Speaker 3: The backup plan is she's leaving. She's married.
- 13:01Speaker 2: She doesn't actually have a backup plan. But that's actually
- 13:04Speaker 2: not that bad. Like, if I ever got divorced, you know,
- 13:06Speaker 2: God willing, that never happened. But if I just bounce
- 13:09Speaker 2: for a little bit, I'm just going to go over there.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So you're wild.
- 13:12Speaker 7: Going to Italy?
- 13:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 7: Something like that.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't know if I'd go to Italy, but 701-280-1987.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Do you have some sort of a backup plan? Maybe
- 13:23Speaker 2: you're going to be like our anonymous caller and you're
- 13:25Speaker 2: going to completely leave the country. I think that would
- 13:28Speaker 2: get the phone calls to potentially stop. With Halloween coming
- 13:34Speaker 2: up this Saturday, I have compiled some of the spookiest
- 13:39Speaker 2: and scariest stories screams you have ever heard in movies,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and I want to see if you guys can guess
- 13:45Speaker 2: where these are from.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm not going to know any of them because I
- 13:48Speaker 4: don't watch any scary movies, so I'm already losing.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, but you know scary movie titles, right?
- 13:55Speaker 3: So you can just guess.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Well, I will say all of these, the characters are
- 14:00Speaker 2: screaming like, no.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Okay.
- 14:03Speaker 2: So if that helps you out, here's your first clip.
- 14:06Speaker 2: What movie is this from? These are tough.
- 14:12Speaker 3: That's from a scary movie?
- 14:14Speaker 7: No, it's not from a scary movie.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 14:16Speaker 3: It's just from a movie?
- 14:17Speaker 7: It's just from a movie.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Oh, great.
- 14:20Speaker 4: I still don't know.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You want to hear it one more time?
- 14:22Speaker 3: Did someone get eaten by a lion? Okay, yeah, do
- 14:24Speaker 3: it again.
- 14:29Speaker 4: No!
- 14:30Speaker 3: Jurassic Park?
- 14:31Speaker 7: That is from Lord of the Rings.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Samwise Gamgee yelling at Frodo for not throwing the ring
- 14:40Speaker 2: into the fire.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Okay, gotcha. Here's our next one. Do you know where
- 14:45Speaker 7: this is from?
- 14:51Speaker 4: I'm not going to know any of these.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Have I ever watched a movie? Do it one more time.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:01Speaker 3: If you're listening. Not even a little bit. Text us 701-280-1987.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Help Megan and I get a leg up on these.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:12Speaker 7: This is from Austin Powers.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Wow.
- 15:16Speaker 4: I can hear my client.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Now I see it.
- 15:18Speaker 7: Okay. What about this one?
- 15:20Speaker 2: This is one of the worst movie scenes in history,
- 15:22Speaker 2: especially when I was a young kid.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Take a listen.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Oh, that is, that's no, isn't it Simba being like,
- 15:33Speaker 3: oh no, because Lion King and he died and he's
- 15:36Speaker 3: falling and Scar's so rude.
- 15:38Speaker 7: That is correct.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Wow, good job. That was really impressive actually.
- 15:42Speaker 7: One of the scariest movie scenes of all time. All right,
- 15:45Speaker 7: I got two more for you.
- 15:46Speaker 3: That really triggered like I could see it.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Okay.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I just watched that with Kaylee the other day. That's
- 15:51Speaker 2: why that made it. All right, I got two more
- 15:52Speaker 2: for you. What is this one? I think you might
- 15:54Speaker 2: get this one.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Play it one more time.
- 16:03Speaker 7: I'll get it for you one more time here.
- 16:05Speaker 6: No!
- 16:06Speaker 4: Are they falling down a hole? Because that's kind of
- 16:10Speaker 4: what it sounds like.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Is it the mask?
- 16:11Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 16:12Speaker 2: That is Darth Vader in The Revenge of the Sith.
- 16:17Speaker 8: Oh.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Haven't seen that one.
- 16:19Speaker 7: When he becomes Darth Vader. He's real bummed.
- 16:21Speaker 3: That's actually my favorite one. So how dare I?
- 16:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I have just one more for you. Here's the last one.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And I will say this is not a movie.
- 16:30Speaker 7: Oh, is it a show? This is a show.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Okay. All right.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Where is this from? One of the scariest screaming movie
- 16:36Speaker 2: clips of all time.
- 16:37Speaker 1: No, God! No, God, please, no!
- 16:41Speaker 5: No!
- 16:41Speaker 1: No!
- 16:42Speaker 5: No!
- 16:43Speaker 4: Michael Scott, you need to settle down.
- 16:46Speaker 7: Any idea what scary show that's?
- 16:49Speaker 5: The Office, right?
- 16:49Speaker 3: The Office, right there. Megan immediately got it. What was
- 16:53Speaker 3: he mad about there? Sorry, what? What was he screaming
- 16:56Speaker 3: about there? Something with Toby?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Toby returns from being gone, yeah. Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Big 98.7. Angie, do you want.
- 17:09Speaker 7: To explain what's on your face today?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Oh, geez. I decided today for Halloweek Day 2 to
- 17:16Speaker 3: dress up. as a girl's worst nightmare, at least one
- 17:21Speaker 3: of them. So today, I am bridesmaid who paid to
- 17:26Speaker 3: get her makeup done, but it turned out bad, and
- 17:29Speaker 3: she's too scared to say anything.
- 17:32Speaker 4: It is, that's frightening, because the amount that you pay,
- 17:35Speaker 4: and you're like, you gotta pretend you like it, and
- 17:36Speaker 4: you don't.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Yes, it's terrible.
- 17:38Speaker 7: I believe that that's frightening, but that is a heck
- 17:40Speaker 7: of a title.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I know at least two. 12 girls who have been
- 17:46Speaker 3: in this situation so yes what's on my face is
- 17:50Speaker 3: a poorly done makeup job and it's it's not good
- 17:55Speaker 3: it looks bad and my boyfriend Mikey he thinks I'm
- 17:57Speaker 3: the most gorgeous woman ever because I don't know I
- 18:00Speaker 3: tricked him but even he looked at me and was
- 18:03Speaker 3: like oh that's rough.
- 18:06Speaker 2: When you walked in this morning when you walked in
- 18:08Speaker 2: the studio this morning I was in here doing whatever
- 18:10Speaker 2: I had to do and I obviously was well aware
- 18:14Speaker 2: that it was you, but there was a bit of
- 18:16Speaker 2: a double take.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 2: When I turned and looked and went, oh, wow, Ainge
- 18:20Speaker 2: is doing something creepy today.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I really shellacked it on here. Well, the other
- 18:25Speaker 3: thing is, like, I'm in full costume, so I'm wearing, like,
- 18:28Speaker 3: the bridesmaid robe that you wear. My hair is pulled
- 18:31Speaker 3: back with the little, you know, makeup headband. Yep. So
- 18:34Speaker 3: that the makeup artist could have room to... mess up
- 18:37Speaker 3: my face. But, I mean, the makeup artist was me.
- 18:42Speaker 1: On purpose, though. Well, what's on purpose?
- 18:46Speaker 3: I tried my best to do what I think makeup
- 18:50Speaker 3: artists try to do, and then it turned out terrible
- 18:52Speaker 3: because I can't do makeup at all. So if you
- 18:54Speaker 3: ever have seen me and thought, like, Angie doesn't really
- 18:57Speaker 3: wear that much makeup, but she probably should. I don't
- 18:59Speaker 3: know how to do it, and that is why. I
- 19:02Speaker 3: don't think I'm some like, oh, I have natural beauty.
- 19:06Speaker 5: No, no.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I am not dexterous, and I do not know what
- 19:10Speaker 3: I'm doing with a makeup brush.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Okay, why not?
- 19:13Speaker 1: You are beautiful.
- 19:14Speaker 3: You don't need makeup. You're very kind.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Your makeup is still better right now than when I
- 19:20Speaker 4: put my makeup on because I'm not good.
- 19:21Speaker 3: At makeup either.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 2: That has turned into a chunk of my morning here
- 19:26Speaker 2: on the Big 98. I sit here and at about
- 19:29Speaker 2: 620 to 640, I see a couple of mirrors come
- 19:32Speaker 2: on out and a couple of dabbles of whatever while
- 19:37Speaker 2: I just sit.
- 19:37Speaker 4: This is frightening for you.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I did post this up on the Big 98.7 Facebook
- 19:43Speaker 3: page just in case anybody doesn't have an idea yet
- 19:47Speaker 3: of what they're going to be for Crawloween.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Saturday. There's some ideas of what you could be, or
- 19:53Speaker 3: if you look at my costumes and think, I'm going
- 19:55Speaker 3: to be anything but that. You know what I mean?
- 19:57Speaker 7: Yeah, process of elimination.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 19:59Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know. I'm just in the spirit.
- 20:02Speaker 7: I love it.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And then, of course, Halloween is on Saturday. Crawloween is
- 20:05Speaker 3: on Saturday.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I got to be in the vibe.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Angie and I have been really committed to the bit
- 20:09Speaker 7: this week, I think.
- 20:11Speaker 3: You're so annoying, Gabe.
- 20:13Speaker 4: No, I'm vibing and I don't know what you're doing.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I told you I was going to go today as
- 20:18Speaker 2: sexy guy wearing a hoodie.
- 20:20Speaker 7: And what did I do? I got on a zip
- 20:23Speaker 7: up hoodie and I got my chain. And you're, oh,
- 20:26Speaker 7: the chain.
- 20:26Speaker 3: And that's what makes you sexy, man, in a hoodie.
- 20:29Speaker 2: It's incredible. You know, it's just a natural gift. Okay. 701-280-1987.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We got to know.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You got to check out the Facebook page and see
- 20:38Speaker 2: Angie's costume today.
- 20:40Speaker 7: Let us know what you think. You might think she
- 20:42Speaker 7: looks wonderful.
- 20:43Speaker 3: All right, so tell us. They need glasses. Drop it,
- 20:47Speaker 3: drop it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Big 98.7. I need some coffee. Starting off the day
- 20:53Speaker 1: with something good.
- 20:55Speaker 5: This is Gabe's Good News on Big 98.7.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And this is good news for Fargo coffee lovers. Revival
- 21:04Speaker 2: Coffee Bar is back. After being closed for less than
- 21:07Speaker 2: a year, it reopened.
- 21:08Speaker 3: It was revived? Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It was
- 21:11Speaker 3: right there.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:12Speaker 2: It reopened in early October in the old, this is
- 21:16Speaker 2: the funny part to me, in the old Youngblood coffee space.
- 21:21Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, yes. Which is on 2nd Avenue.
- 21:24Speaker 2: It's bigger and cozier with plants, window seating, a vintage
- 21:28Speaker 2: TV with a wall of a bunch of VHS tapes.
- 21:31Speaker 2: You can watch Shrek or Friends or whatever they have
- 21:33Speaker 2: in there with your latte.
- 21:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 2: The fan favorite drinks, they're also back, including Grandma's Snickerdoodle
- 21:39Speaker 2: and Knit Blanket. Lattes are $ 5.
- 21:43Speaker 7: 50.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And there's a new food menu with bagels, avocado toast,
- 21:47Speaker 2: baked goods. And owner Hannah Blazinski-Kuhl says she'd rather make
- 21:52Speaker 2: a little less per drink so people come back more often.
- 21:54Speaker 7: Revival is open now.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Seven to five seven days a week revival coffee bar
- 21:59Speaker 2: back okay.
- 22:00Speaker 3: This sounds cozy and cute and i want to go
- 22:02Speaker 3: let's take a big 98.7 morning show field trip i was.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Just like when can we go in like five minutes
- 22:08Speaker 4: yeah i need more coffee.
- 22:09Speaker 3: We'll say it's for work we're getting content and you
- 22:11Speaker 3: had me.
- 22:12Speaker 4: At avocado toast i love me avocado toast so much
- 22:15Speaker 4: it's the millennial in us.
- 22:18Speaker 7: You'll have to go check it out.
- 22:19Speaker 2: But pretty cool that they have made a bit of
- 22:21Speaker 2: a comeback here. And, you know, my favorite quote, if
- 22:23Speaker 2: you don't hear it, is the world is full of
- 22:25Speaker 2: nice people. If you can't find one, you got to
- 22:26Speaker 2: be one. And never forget that broken crayons, they still color.
