0:00
Speaker 1: Welcome.
0:00
Speaker 2: It is verdicuous center, Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
0:04
Speaker 1: It is a lot that we have to talk about.
0:06
Speaker 2: A lot of it is sad news, including the attacks
0:09
Speaker 2: that we've witnessed in this country and also abroad. And
0:13
Speaker 2: it's going to be a show where we have to
0:14
Speaker 2: deal with some warnings that came long time ago that
0:17
Speaker 2: people didn't pay attention to.
0:20
Speaker 3: Well, evil is in the world, and unfortunately this weekend
0:23
Speaker 3: it became abundantly clear for anyone who was watching. We
0:28
Speaker 3: saw the weekend start off with the horrific shooting at
0:31
Speaker 3: Brown University. Then shortly there after we saw the mass
0:36
Speaker 3: shooting in Australia targeting the Jewish community there. And as
0:41
Speaker 3: you and I are recording this late Sunday night, the
0:43
Speaker 3: news just broke that Rob Reiner and his wife were
0:46
Speaker 3: both murdered, apparently by a family member, and so it
0:49
Speaker 3: really has been a difficult weekend, a weekend of of
0:56
Speaker 3: horrific murder. We're going to break down and talk about
0:59
Speaker 3: all three of those, all of that in today's podcast.
1:03
Speaker 1: Yeah good. It's a very interesting story there.
1:05
Speaker 2: And the question a lot of Americans are asking is, well,
1:07
Speaker 2: if there are consequences when would we see those.
1:10
Speaker 1: We'll deal with that in a moment.
1:11
Speaker 2: I want to talk to you real quick about something

3:04
Speaker 2: deal of the year. Senator I, let's start with Rob
3:07
Speaker 2: Reiner for a moment. So shocking news that we're hearing
3:09
Speaker 2: about the death, the murder of Robin and his wife.
3:14
Speaker 2: He is someone that's involved in some of your favorite
3:17
Speaker 2: movies as well.
3:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, look, the news just broke today and here's what
3:22
Speaker 3: People magazine is reporting. Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle
3:26
Speaker 3: Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home
3:29
Speaker 3: on Sunday, December fourteenth. Authorities responded to a medical aid
3:33
Speaker 3: call around three thirty pm discovered their bodies. Multiple sources
3:37
Speaker 3: tell People that the killer was the couple's son, Nick Reiner.
3:43
Speaker 3: Nick previously spoke publicly about his long battle with drug
3:47
Speaker 3: addiction and periods of homelessness, and People magazine goes on
3:51
Speaker 3: to say Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner
3:54
Speaker 3: were killed by their son, Nick, according to multiple sources
3:57
Speaker 3: who have spoken with family members. Police have not yet
4:00
Speaker 3: confirmed the account. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Fire Department
4:06
Speaker 3: was called to a home to provide medical aid. Upon arrival,
4:09
Speaker 3: they found a man seventy eight and a woman sixty
4:11
Speaker 3: eight dead. Police say Nick thirty two, is alive and
4:17
Speaker 3: being questioned. No arrests have been made, and you know,
4:23
Speaker 3: I have to say this is sad on so many levels. One,
4:30
Speaker 3: I'll just say, look, mental illness is real, and I
4:38
Speaker 3: don't know the medical condition of Rob Reiner son, but
4:43
Speaker 3: I operate from an assumption that any time a son
4:46
Speaker 3: kills his parents that you're dealing with significant mental illness,
4:50
Speaker 3: and it just it is heartbreaking the tragedy of a
4:58
Speaker 3: mother and father, a parent allegedly killed by their son,
5:02
Speaker 3: the tragedy for the son's life, that that for the
5:05
Speaker 3: rest of his life he will live with that. I
5:08
Speaker 3: don't know if he had apparently struggled with addiction for
5:12
Speaker 3: a long time. I don't know if he was under
5:15
Speaker 3: the influence of of of drugs or dealing with significant
5:19
Speaker 3: mental illness or both. But it's just sad and and
5:22
Speaker 3: I'll say, look, I didn't know Rob Reiner, but he
5:25
Speaker 3: was an amazingly talented man. He was a funny man.
5:30
Speaker 3: He was you know, he kind of first broke onto
5:32
Speaker 3: the national scene, uh as an actor as as Meathead
5:37
Speaker 3: in in All in the Family, and you know, playing
5:39
Speaker 3: Archie Bunker's son in law. And and and he was.
5:44
Speaker 3: He was skilled as an actor, but his real gift
5:46
Speaker 3: was in in in writing and directing movies. And and
5:49
Speaker 3: he was. He was the son of the legendary comedian
5:53
Speaker 3: Carl Reiner, who was incredibly talented as well. I cannot
5:56
Speaker 3: imagine what their dinner table was like with Carl Rob
5:59
Speaker 3: Reiner and rob Ber you know, cracking jokes, but you
6:04
Speaker 3: look at Reiner's first movie was nineteen eighty four This
6:07
Speaker 3: Is Spinal Tap, a classic. He then made The Sure Thing.
6:10
Speaker 3: He then made Stand By Me. His fourth movie was
6:13
Speaker 3: my all time favorite movie ever, The Princess Bride in
6:16
Speaker 3: nineteen eighty seven. He followed that up with When Harry
6:19
Speaker 3: Met Sally, another fantastic classic, one of the best and
6:23
Speaker 3: funniest comedies ever made. From there, he made Misery and
6:27
Speaker 3: other terrific dark comedy. From there he made a Few
6:30
Speaker 3: Good Men. I mean, one of the most spectacular military
6:35
Speaker 3: drama legal shows. Jack Nicholson's testimony on the stand is
6:41
Speaker 3: spectacularnic In nineteen ninety five, he made The American President,
6:47
Speaker 3: another great movie. I've only seen it about one hundred times,
6:51
Speaker 3: Ghosts of Mississippi, rumor has it the bucket list LBJ,
6:57
Speaker 3: God and Country. He was incredibly talented and and and
7:02
Speaker 3: I just you know, I want to say, I'm I'm mourning,
7:08
Speaker 3: uh the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife, that
7:11
Speaker 3: that is not uh. Murder is a horrible thing. And
7:16
Speaker 3: and and when mental illness is likely contributing to it
7:19
Speaker 3: in a family, it's just tragic. And it makes your
7:21
Speaker 3: heart grieve.
7:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, it really does. Aim into that. I couldn't agree
7:24
Speaker 1: with you more.
7:25
Speaker 2: We moved from that to even more tragedy at Brown University,
7:29
Speaker 2: and then we go to Australia from there. But let's
7:31
Speaker 2: start with Brown University. We don't know as much. They're
7:34
Speaker 2: holding a lot of information back apparently.
7:37
Speaker 4: Uh.
7:38
Speaker 2: And this investigation of the attack. Uh, there we do
7:41
Speaker 2: are starting to get some of the names of the
7:43
Speaker 2: victims and those have been shot and those have been killed.
7:46
Speaker 1: It is so tragic.
7:47
Speaker 2: They were dealing with exams and and and exam prep
7:50
Speaker 2: when this attack took place in this in this classroom.
7:54
Speaker 2: It really is shocking and saddening to see this again.
7:57
Speaker 3: No, it really is sad. Students were apparently in a
8:01
Speaker 3: classroom doing exam preparation, final exam preparation for an economics
8:07
Speaker 3: exam for the broad introductory economics class that apparently roughly
8:12
Speaker 3: half the students at Brown take. It was the most
8:15
Speaker 3: wide signed up class. We know that two people were murdered,
8:22
Speaker 3: nine people were injured as a shooter entered the class
8:25
Speaker 3: and began opening fire. For several hours, the shooter was
8:29
Speaker 3: on the run. They didn't know who he was. As
8:32
Speaker 3: of Sunday night. Police have said that they have an
8:35
Speaker 3: individual in custody, and they said that he was found
8:40
Speaker 3: at a hotel in Coventry, about seventeen miles south of Providence.
8:45
Speaker 3: At this point, the police have not said whether this
8:49
Speaker 3: individual is affiliated with Brown University, So we don't know.
8:52
Speaker 3: We don't really know who he is. We don't know
8:55
Speaker 3: what his motive was. I assume that will come out
8:58
Speaker 3: in the hours and days to come. Understand why Uh,
9:01
Speaker 3: this this lunatic wanted to commit a mass murder. But
9:04
Speaker 3: but we don't know his motivation. And I want to
9:07
Speaker 3: be I want to be slow to speculate because it
9:10
Speaker 3: could be any of of of a lot of things. Uh.
9:13
Speaker 3: But uh. The mayor has said seven individuals remain in
9:19
Speaker 3: stable condition, one is critical but stable condition, and another
9:23
Speaker 3: has been discharged. So one of the one of the
9:24
Speaker 3: people injured is out of the hospital. And and I
9:29
Speaker 3: will say it's just horrific. No one should go to
9:34
Speaker 3: school and and and fear for this, that this sort
9:37
Speaker 3: of horror. We see far too many of these. We
9:41
Speaker 3: we we see school shootings, you know, I've seen them
9:45
Speaker 3: in Texas. I've seen them at Santa Fe. I've seen
9:48
Speaker 3: them at Uvaldi. Santa Fe is a high school that
9:53
Speaker 3: is maybe forty five minutes away from my house, and
9:55
Speaker 3: and I was home the morning of the shooting, and
9:58
Speaker 3: so I was on the camp within about an hour
10:01
Speaker 3: of when the shooting occurred, and saw the tragedy, saw
10:06
Speaker 3: the horrific suffering. I was also on the ground in
10:11
Speaker 3: Sutherland Springs, the worst church shooting in our nation's history.
10:15
Speaker 3: We have far too many of these here. As I said,
10:18
Speaker 3: we don't know the motivation, and so more may become that.
10:20
Speaker 3: We don't know if it is motivated by terrorism, We
10:24
Speaker 3: don't know if it is motivated by something specific to Brown.
10:27
Speaker 3: We don't know if it had a racial component, or
10:32
Speaker 3: a a component targeting any particular community, all of those
10:37
Speaker 3: we have seen in prior mass shootings. But I am hopeful.
10:43
Speaker 3: It has been reported multiple times that the shooter yelled
10:46
Speaker 3: something in the classroom before he opened fire, But we
10:49
Speaker 3: don't have confirmation what he yelled, and so my assumption
10:53
Speaker 3: is that we will get we will get information, we
10:56
Speaker 3: will get hopefully this individual's social media record. I don't
11:01
Speaker 3: know if he's written anything about what his motivation is,
11:03
Speaker 3: what his connection was, if any, to Brown University, into
11:07
Speaker 3: that classroom, and to the people uh he he fired upon.
11:11
Speaker 3: But it is just that there is far too much evil,
11:14
Speaker 3: There is far too much hate and and dealing with
11:18
Speaker 3: with with criminality and violent criminals. We need to do
11:23
Speaker 3: much much more to deal with criminality and and I'll
11:26
Speaker 3: tell you my prayers. My prayers are with Rob Ryaner's
11:29
Speaker 3: family and and everyone grieving his loss. My prayers are
11:34
Speaker 3: with everyone in the Brown University community who is grieving
11:38
Speaker 3: that those who lost loved ones, those who are shocked
11:42
Speaker 3: and afraid. It was reported that at least two of
11:44
Speaker 3: the students at Brown had previously been in school shootings
11:48
Speaker 3: in high school, which is just you know, you and
11:52
Speaker 3: I are both parents, and and what no child should
11:55
Speaker 3: should have to endure that much less endure it twice.
11:59
Speaker 3: And and you know, I think we need to be
12:02
Speaker 3: much much more vigorous in going after violent criminals, preventing
12:06
Speaker 3: these sorts of mass crimes before they happen. It's one
12:09
Speaker 3: of the reasons why doing things like securing the border
12:12
Speaker 3: and arresting gang members and potential terrorists is so important
12:17
Speaker 3: because many of these instances mass murders are carried out
12:23
Speaker 3: by terrorists. And we've seen we've seen that happen in
12:27
Speaker 3: the United States. We saw that happen as recently as
12:30
Speaker 3: the two National guardsmen that were shot in d C
12:33
Speaker 3: by the Afghan Islamic radical who'd been brought into this
12:37
Speaker 3: country under the Biden administration. And we saw it horrifically
12:43
Speaker 3: in Australia. And I will say what happened in Australia
12:48
Speaker 3: just takes the breath away. With Australia we know significantly more.
12:55
Speaker 3: It is clear that in Australia this was targeting the
13:00
Speaker 3: Jewish community. At this point, sixteen are dead, forty are
13:05
Speaker 3: injured in the mass shooting on Bondi Beach. It appears
13:09
Speaker 3: it's being reported that the two gunmen were a father
13:12
Speaker 3: and son. Can you imagine the level of hate that
13:19
Speaker 3: a father and son to say with your son, here's
13:23
Speaker 3: how I want to go out in the world, because look,
13:25
Speaker 3: when you carry out a mass shooting like that, you're
13:28
Speaker 3: expecting to die, You're expecting this to be your last
13:31
Speaker 3: act on planet Earth. And the level of bilious hate.
13:35
Speaker 3: And this was targeting a Honikah celebration on Bondi Beach
13:41
Speaker 3: in Sydney, Australia. It was clearly targeting the Jewish community.
13:45
Speaker 3: And I think unquestionably motivated by anti Semitism, by hate
13:49
Speaker 3: of Jews, hate of Israel. We will find out more,
13:53
Speaker 3: but I don't think any reasonable observer can doubt that
13:55
Speaker 3: at this point. And I got to say, the fact
13:59
Speaker 3: that it's a father and son, it really is an
14:06
Speaker 3: element of this story that I think just haunts you.
14:08
Speaker 3: And it reminds me of after October seventh, Uh, the
14:14
Speaker 3: Israeli government intercepted a lot of cell phone conversations intercepted
14:18
Speaker 3: back and forth of terrorists and and and I listened
14:21
Speaker 3: to about an hour worth of intercepted conversations on October
14:25
Speaker 3: seventh of people committing horrific murders, people committing horrific rapes,
14:29
Speaker 3: motivated by the same thing, by by hatred of Jews.
14:32
Speaker 3: And there's one exchange in particular on those intercepted calls
14:37
Speaker 3: that that that haunts me to this day.
14:40
Speaker 4: I know it's.
14:40
Speaker 2: Zachary one you're about to talk about, And it's going
14:43
Speaker 2: to be the the the terrorist calling back to his parents.
14:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a young and they celebrated it.
14:49
Speaker 3: Yes, it's a young Hamas terrorist who calls home to
14:52
Speaker 3: his dad in Gaza, and and and and he he is,
14:55
Speaker 3: he is celebrating and he's so excited, and he says, Dad,
14:59
Speaker 3: I killed ten Jews today, I killed ten Jews. And
15:04
Speaker 3: and and the father uh says, praise ay light. He
15:08
Speaker 3: calls his mother over, and his mom, all excited, comes
15:12
Speaker 3: rushing over to hear the great news that her son
15:15
Speaker 3: had murdered ten Jews that day, and and the the
15:21
Speaker 3: there was something surreal about listening to someone who had
15:26
Speaker 3: just committed mass murder, murdered ten innocent individuals. We don't
15:30
Speaker 3: know if those were elderly people, women, children, We don't
15:33
Speaker 3: know who the ten were. But he was so proud
15:37
Speaker 3: that he wanted wanted to brag to his parents. And
15:40
Speaker 3: the father's first reaction is to call his wife, look
15:44
Speaker 3: what a great thing our son did, and and and
15:47
Speaker 3: and that. I have to say, evil and hate is
15:51
Speaker 3: so saturated when you want to do that. And I
15:54
Speaker 3: look here at a father and son who the father decides, here,
15:58
Speaker 3: here's how I want my son to die. Here's how
16:00
Speaker 3: I want me to die. And here's how I want
16:03
Speaker 3: my son to die. We're gonna kill as many Jews
16:06
Speaker 3: as possible, because that is the sum total of all
16:10
Speaker 3: we care about in the world.
16:12
Speaker 2: It truly is evil, you know, one of the things
16:15
Speaker 2: that I think was also shocking, if you've seen the
16:18
Speaker 2: video of that shooting, is when the sun goes down,
16:21
Speaker 2: the dad doesn't check on the sun.
16:23
Speaker 1: The dad keeps shooting. They're side by side.
16:26
Speaker 2: I mean, there's just it's just like, as you mentioned,
16:29
Speaker 2: this mindset of just pure evil, I call it sadistic
16:33
Speaker 2: evil hate where hate. Child has been shot, you don't stop.
16:38
Speaker 2: You just keep going to kill as many Jews as possible.
16:42
Speaker 2: That is what we witness, which is truly unbelievable to think.
16:46
Speaker 2: I mean, my son, anything happens, your daughter's anything happened,
16:49
Speaker 2: You stop what you're doing, You check. There was no
16:52
Speaker 2: It was like, hey, we're gonna go out guns ablazing.
16:54
Speaker 2: This is how we're gonna end it. And we're doing
16:56
Speaker 2: the name of radical Islam.
16:58
Speaker 3: Well and you and I also saw the video of
17:01
Speaker 3: the Australian man who rushes in and tackles one of
17:04
Speaker 3: the gunmen and and wrestles the gun out.
17:07
Speaker 1: Of his hand. What hero, by the way, what extraordinary hero.
17:11
Speaker 3: I mean that someone sitting there just firing a rifle
17:16
Speaker 3: murdering people to charge him, to tackle him, you're obviously
17:20
Speaker 3: taking your own life in your hands to put it mildly.
17:22
Speaker 1: But take the gun away was I mean, it was incredible.
17:26
Speaker 3: It was That's not an easy thing to do, and
17:28
Speaker 3: he forcibly took it away, and and and it's you know,
17:31
Speaker 3: there are mixed reports online about about who that gentleman is,
17:35
Speaker 3: so I want to I want to just refrain because
17:37
Speaker 3: I'm not sure from their conflicting press reports, but I
17:41
Speaker 3: will say, whoever he is, that that was extraordinary heroism.
17:46
Speaker 3: And I have no doubt that that that his courage
17:49
Speaker 3: that day saved lives.
17:52
Speaker 1: You know.
17:52
Speaker 2: I want to bring in some of the just the
17:54
Speaker 2: national security, in the in the the issues at home
17:58
Speaker 2: when I see this. There have been lots of warnings
18:01
Speaker 2: in Australia by some of the media, some in their
18:05
Speaker 2: political parties over there for years saying we're allowing too
18:08
Speaker 2: many people to come in that are unvetted.
18:11
Speaker 1: We have that same warning here.
18:12
Speaker 2: We talked about the number of people were worried about
18:14
Speaker 2: the've come across our southern border that could be on
18:16
Speaker 2: the tearrist watch list here on the last show. It's
18:19
Speaker 2: not one hundreds, it's now into the thousands. Is the
18:21
Speaker 2: warning coming from the Trump administration? We see this attack
18:24
Speaker 2: that happened, for example, at Brown University. And I think
18:27
Speaker 2: the part that scares me the most is even when
18:30
Speaker 2: these things happen, Democrats never want to miss an opportunity
18:35
Speaker 2: to push their agenda and also to attack Donald Trump.
18:39
Speaker 1: I'll give you an example of that.
18:40
Speaker 2: One of your colleagues, Senator Chris Murphy, thought it was
18:44
Speaker 2: appropriate Sunday morning to go on Stay the Union CNN
18:47
Speaker 2: and attack President Trump for the Brown University shooting. And
18:51
Speaker 2: I want to play for you what he said, and
18:53
Speaker 2: then I want to get your reaction to it.
18:55
Speaker 4: Not shocking because over the last year, President Trump has
18:58
Speaker 4: been engaged in a dizzying campaign to increase violence in
19:02
Speaker 4: this country. He is restoring gun rights to felons and
19:05
Speaker 4: people who have lost their ability to buy guns. He
19:08
Speaker 4: eliminated the White House Office of Gun Violence Protection, and
19:12
Speaker 4: he has stopped funding mental health grants and community anti
19:16
Speaker 4: gun violence grants that Republicans and Democrats supported in that
19:20
Speaker 4: twenty twenty two bill. So he has been engaged in
19:24
Speaker 4: a pretty deliberate campaign to try to make violence more
19:27
Speaker 4: likely in this country.
19:29
Speaker 1: I'm just going to stop there.
19:31
Speaker 2: He's been a part of a deliberate campaign for more
19:36
Speaker 2: violence and He said it, not once, but twice in
19:39
Speaker 2: two different ways. The first time he said Donald Trum's
19:41
Speaker 2: been engaged in it and a dizzying campaign to increase
19:45
Speaker 2: violence in this country. Then he goes a step further
19:47
Speaker 2: and says he's advocating and creating the violence. We don't
19:51
Speaker 2: know much about Brown. We started that with a show.
19:53
Speaker 2: So why even say this when we don't even know
19:56
Speaker 2: anything at all about the shooting there? Number one two,
20:01
Speaker 2: They're not even going to take a moment to talk
20:02
Speaker 2: about what the actual cause could be. This is somehow
20:04
Speaker 2: orangeman battlets blame him for shooting at a university.
20:09
Speaker 3: And let's be clear. We're just over a year out
20:12
Speaker 3: from President Trump being shot and being the target of
20:17
Speaker 3: two different assassination attempts. We are just months out from
20:22
Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk being murdered. We are weeks out from National
20:27
Speaker 3: guardsmen being shot by Afghan radicals that the Democrats let
20:32
Speaker 3: in and didn't vet. We are weeks out from shots
20:37
Speaker 3: fired at ICE agents and ICE agents being targeted by
20:41
Speaker 3: radical Zealots. And listen, Well and I have talked about
20:45
Speaker 3: on this show how there is a real divide between
20:49
Speaker 3: left and right. The left justifies violence. Let me be
20:52
Speaker 3: absolutely clear, violence is never, ever, ever, Okay, I do
20:55
Speaker 3: not seek violence against any of my political opponents. It
20:58
Speaker 3: is absolutely unaccepted. Will period the end. You and I
21:01
Speaker 3: have talked about the polling numbers that show an increasing
21:06
Speaker 3: number in the neighborhood of half of self described Democrats
21:12
Speaker 3: say that violence is justified against Donald Trump, or violence
21:15
Speaker 3: is justified against Elon Musk. This is unacceptable, and I
21:19
Speaker 3: will say, you know, it's interesting that Chris listen. Any
21:23
Speaker 3: time there is a crime, Chris's answer is more gun control.
21:27
Speaker 3: It is to disarm law abiding citizens, because he believes
21:30
Speaker 3: the way you stop crime is to prevent you from
21:33
Speaker 3: defending yourself and your family. That is Chris's go to,
21:37
Speaker 3: It is the go to of almost every Democrat. But
21:41
Speaker 3: let's call out what happened in Australia clearly and unequivocally.
21:47
Speaker 3: You know, it was interesting today you saw a number
21:50
Speaker 3: of people on the left putting out tweets that were
21:53
Speaker 3: basically thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers with the people
21:56
Speaker 3: of Australia. It was interesting a number of them refused
21:59
Speaker 3: eve and to acknowledge that it was the Jewish community
22:01
Speaker 3: that was targeted.
22:02
Speaker 2: It was just sor generic, and people are like, this
22:05
Speaker 2: was a Jewish event publicized online to start the Jewish
22:10
Speaker 2: holiday and to celebrate being Jewish.
22:13
Speaker 3: Yes, yes, no, this was a Jewish gathering celebrating Hanukkah.
22:17
Speaker 3: Among those targeted was at least one rabbi. But look
22:22
Speaker 3: for those leftists who are putting out the phrase thoughts
22:26
Speaker 3: and prayers. I have a simple question, what do you
22:32
Speaker 3: think globalize the Intifada means? Yeah, Comrade Mandami has repeatedly
22:39
Speaker 3: chanted globalized the Intifada. The Intifada is this, That is
22:44
Speaker 3: the Intifada being globalized. It is radical Islamist murdering Jews.
22:51
Speaker 3: If you chant globalize the Intifada, you are saying you
22:55
Speaker 3: want more of this. That is why it is so wrong.
22:59
Speaker 3: The left embrace of Hamas and and radical Islam, refusal
23:05
Speaker 3: to call it out for what it is is deliberately
23:08
Speaker 3: inciting more. And you know there's there's something Freudian about democrats.
23:12
Speaker 3: You noticed Chris Murphy said, well, Trump is encouraging more violence.
23:16
Speaker 3: Let's be clear, Trump is doing the exact opposite of that.
23:19
Speaker 3: He is doing everything he can to prevent violence. He
23:22
Speaker 3: is actively arresting murderers and gangbangers and terrorists. He is
23:26
Speaker 3: deporting them and removing from this country the.
23:30
Speaker 2: Most dangerous cities and making them safe again. That is
23:33
Speaker 2: the guy they're now accusing of being out there selling violence,
23:36
Speaker 2: advocating for violence, spreading violence, creating rate violence. Is how
23:39
Speaker 2: Center Chris Murphy put it. I'm like, hold on a second.
23:42
Speaker 2: That's a lie in DC. That's a lie in Chicago,
23:47
Speaker 2: that is a lie in Memphis, Tennessee. That's a lie
23:49
Speaker 2: in New Orleans right now, that's a lie for a
23:51
Speaker 2: lot of what we've seen in Houston, where you and
23:53
Speaker 2: I are right now, where we've seen a lot of
23:55
Speaker 2: really bad individuals that are legal immigrants in this country
23:58
Speaker 2: that have been taken out, thank goodness, by eyes another
24:01
Speaker 2: law enforcement. Like the idea that he's out there sowing
24:04
Speaker 2: violence is insanity.
24:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, and listen, let's start with a premise that everyone
24:10
Speaker 3: or everyone within some reasonable set of bounds, wants to
24:15
Speaker 3: prevent murder, wants to see innocent people not be killed.
24:19
Speaker 3: In the Senate, I am confident all one hundred senators
24:24
Speaker 3: would want to prevent murder. That we don't have anyone
24:27
Speaker 3: who is actively cheering on and eager to see more murder. However,
24:34
Speaker 3: policies have consequences. When you allow into this country terrorists
24:41
Speaker 3: like the Afghan radical who murdered one National guardsman and
24:45
Speaker 3: severely wounded another, yep. When you let into this country
24:49
Speaker 3: through open borders Hamas and Hesbala and IRGC terrorists, you
24:55
Speaker 3: know to an absolute certainty that murders will result. When
25:00
Speaker 3: you release convicted murderers, as the Democrats did for four years,
25:05
Speaker 3: you know to an absolute certainty more murders will result.
25:08
Speaker 3: When you release Ms thirteen gang bangers into communities, you
25:13
Speaker 3: know that more murders will result. And at some point
25:18
Speaker 3: you have a consequence for those decisions. And their answer
25:21
Speaker 3: is always no, no, no, release all the criminals. But
25:24
Speaker 3: if we just take away the guns from Ben Ferguson,
25:28
Speaker 3: there will be no more mass shootings in Australia or
25:31
Speaker 3: at Brown University. And it is it is a question ideology.
25:36
Speaker 2: Incredible gun control laws there yep, and it didn't stop them.
25:40
Speaker 2: So for everybody saying well if we just had great
25:42
Speaker 2: gun control laws, things like Brown wouldn't happen and we
25:44
Speaker 2: had extreme gun control Australia, has it. Look at what
25:47
Speaker 2: happened today in Australia and By the way, it took
25:50
Speaker 2: twenty minutes to apparently for this attack to stop. Police
25:57
Speaker 2: early on didn't even return fire. There's a lot of
25:59
Speaker 2: question around that. What we do know is even and
26:03
Speaker 2: you go back to anti semitism for a second center,
26:05
Speaker 2: Netanyahu actually accused the Australian Prime Minister of having fueled
26:09
Speaker 2: anti Semitism in.
26:12
Speaker 1: Australia before this attack happened.
26:15
Speaker 2: I think that's a really important point that should be
26:17
Speaker 2: brought up, that there are people out there talking about
26:20
Speaker 2: the truth, being honest about where we are. Australia has
26:24
Speaker 2: got a real problem. There's several of their government officials
26:27
Speaker 2: now that have come out and said it in the
26:28
Speaker 2: last several hours that there has been an explosion of
26:31
Speaker 2: anti Semitism in Australia and it is now at a
26:36
Speaker 2: fever pitch. And this is what you get when you
26:38
Speaker 2: don't check it and the leaders of the country don't
26:41
Speaker 2: check it. That's why Netanyahu, i think, called him out
26:42
Speaker 2: when he did.
26:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, I want to be cautious about being overly
26:48
Speaker 3: critical in law enforcement at this point. Any time there
26:52
Speaker 3: there there is a mass murder, that there is inevitably
26:56
Speaker 3: a fog of war. It takes a while to ascertaining
27:00
Speaker 3: exactly what happened, who did what. I am confident that
27:03
Speaker 3: we saw law enforcement officers exhibit considerable bravery while this
27:09
Speaker 3: was happening, and so to be I want to be
27:12
Speaker 3: slow to criticize law enforcement, particularly when we don't know
27:15
Speaker 3: everything that occurred. But what I think is indisputable is
27:19
Speaker 3: that when you have rhetoric calling for murder, yeah, you
27:23
Speaker 3: should not be surprised when murder results. And I want
27:27
Speaker 3: to play this clip from this is a day after
27:31
Speaker 3: October seventh, when twelve hundred Jews were murdered by Hamas
27:35
Speaker 3: in Israel. This is the protest in Sydney, Australia. Give
27:40
Speaker 3: a listen, Senator.
28:03
Speaker 2: The part there that the audience we played for them
28:06
Speaker 2: is them saying gas the Jews, Gas the Jews. Moments
28:10
Speaker 2: later they also started chanting f the Jews. We're not
28:13
Speaker 2: going to play that here for obvious reasons, but they
28:16
Speaker 2: chanted that with as much vigor as they were chanting
28:19
Speaker 2: gas the Jews. This, as you mentioned, right after the
28:23
Speaker 2: attacks on the worst attack since the Holocaust on Jews
28:27
Speaker 2: in Israel.
28:28
Speaker 3: And they also chanted a lahu akbar, which is what
28:31
Speaker 3: has been reported that the two mass murderers chanted on
28:34
Speaker 3: Bondi Beach. Gas the Jews is not some reasonable political
28:42
Speaker 3: to dispute about whether a two states solution is the
28:44
Speaker 3: right resolution between Israel and the Palestinians. It's not arguing
28:49
Speaker 3: for middle ground or compromise. It is arguing for another Holocaust.
28:55
Speaker 3: It is calling for Jews to be put in gas
28:58
Speaker 3: chambers and exterminated. This is a crowd the day after
29:02
Speaker 3: this is October eighth, the day after twelve hundred Jews
29:06
Speaker 3: are murdered by Hamas. They're chanting, they're waving Palestinian flags,
29:10
Speaker 3: and they are saying they want more Jews murdered. So
29:14
Speaker 3: let me say, every leftist, whether they are Zorron Mandami,
29:20
Speaker 3: or whether they are in the squad and the House
29:22
Speaker 3: of Representatives, or whether they are in a college campus
29:25
Speaker 3: and one of the many anti Semitic protests chanting globalized
29:29
Speaker 3: the Intifada, this is what they're calling for. Gas the Jews,
29:33
Speaker 3: kill the Jews. And tragically, this father son duo carried
29:38
Speaker 3: out on that political agenda, and that agenda is evil.
29:43
Speaker 3: And by the way, if you were calling for gassing
29:46
Speaker 3: or killing anyone else, that would be evil as well.
29:49
Speaker 3: If you were saying, as you and I have talked
29:52
Speaker 3: about a great length in Nigeria where they are killing Christians,
29:55
Speaker 3: and we have spoken out very clearly that killing Christians
29:58
Speaker 3: is wrong. By the way, they're also killing Muslims. You
30:00
Speaker 3: shouldn't be killing Muslims. Murder is wrong, period the end.
30:05
Speaker 3: Everyone should agree on that, and they're unfortunately too many
30:11
Speaker 3: on the left who embrace an ideology where they don't
30:15
Speaker 3: admit to themselves they are calling for mass murder, but
30:20
Speaker 3: there is no other interpretation of that. Chant gas the
30:24
Speaker 3: Jews on the streets of Sydney the day after October seventh,
30:29
Speaker 3: and tragically we saw the consequences of that this weekend.
30:33
Speaker 1: I want to bring it back home for a second.
30:35
Speaker 1: I just want to get your thoughts.
30:36
Speaker 2: Last week we talked about how they believe there's eighteen
30:39
Speaker 2: thousand in this country that are on either Terrists or
30:43
Speaker 2: connected to Terrists, tied to terraces, on the watch list,
30:46
Speaker 2: or part of sleeper sales. I see what happened in Australia.
30:49
Speaker 2: I see what happened you know, around the world with
30:52
Speaker 2: other attacks that we've seen recently. I am very concerned
30:56
Speaker 2: that we let in so many bad guys that we
30:58
Speaker 2: didn't remember what happened nine to eleven.
31:01
Speaker 1: We didn't vet.
31:02
Speaker 2: People that way we were supposed to all because of
31:04
Speaker 2: the political correctness of the radical left and the obsession
31:06
Speaker 2: with bringing in people and not seeing who they actually
31:08
Speaker 2: are having real honest conversations. How concerned are you about
31:14
Speaker 2: the state of security in this country right now from
31:16
Speaker 2: things like we just witnessed.
31:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, look, I'm very concerned. I know. I've talked in
31:21
Speaker 3: the last couple of days to a lot of friends
31:23
Speaker 3: of mine, a lot of Jewish friends of mine, who
31:25
Speaker 3: are expressing fear if they go to synagogue, if they
31:28
Speaker 3: go to a Jewish day school, if they go to
31:30
Speaker 3: any gathering where they're multiple Jewish people gathered, They're afraid
31:35
Speaker 3: of violence. They're afraid of mass violence. I tell you,
31:38
Speaker 3: I'm also hearing my Christian friends if they go to church,
31:40
Speaker 3: if they go to a Christmas celebration.
31:43
Speaker 2: I mean, I have a lot of friends right now
31:45
Speaker 2: that they carry now to every church event because they
31:48
Speaker 2: are that concerned over it. I mean, I care, you
31:51
Speaker 2: know that, but I always carry and it's weird. I
31:53
Speaker 2: actually pick a higher capacity magazine when I'm going to
31:57
Speaker 2: church because I am afraid of that this type of
32:00
Speaker 2: scenario taking place, I want to make sure I have
32:02
Speaker 2: enough IMA to protect my family and everybody else there
32:05
Speaker 2: that's there to worship.
32:06
Speaker 1: That.
32:06
Speaker 2: That's the mindset win right now. And it's not a
32:08
Speaker 2: crazy one either, and that scares me.
32:11
Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, it is an incredibly dangerous time. There are
32:16
Speaker 3: people who are radicals, who are evil. You know, when
32:20
Speaker 3: when the Ayatola says death to America, he means it.
32:24
Speaker 3: If he could kill the two of us, he would, yep,
32:27
Speaker 3: if he could kill everyone listening to this podcast, he would.
32:32
Speaker 3: Hamas and Hezbolah they celebrate. They they you know, Iran
32:37
Speaker 3: refers to Israel as the Little Satan, America as the
32:40
Speaker 3: Great Satan. And understand these lunatics that are targeting Jews,
32:45
Speaker 3: they are targeting Americans. Uh and and and and this.
32:50
Speaker 3: The only way to deal with it is to be
32:53
Speaker 3: clear eyed, to confront the threat head on, and to
32:58
Speaker 3: defeat it. It's why it was so important. The single
33:01
Speaker 3: most important foreign policy decision President Trump has made the
33:04
Speaker 3: second term was the decision to bomb Iran's nuclear weapons capability,
33:09
Speaker 3: Because if the Ayatola succeeded in building nuclear weapons, I
33:15
Speaker 3: don't want to find out the likelihood that he would
33:18
Speaker 3: use nuclear weapons, that instead of talking about sixteen dead,
33:22
Speaker 3: we could be talking about hundreds or thousands or millions dead.
33:26
Speaker 3: And so the President carried out his responsibility as commander
33:30
Speaker 3: in chief to say, a theocratic lunatic who says he
33:33
Speaker 3: wants to murder us, we're not going to allow him
33:36
Speaker 3: to have weapons that would enable him to murder a
33:39
Speaker 3: vast number of Americans. That is that's the very essence
33:43
Speaker 3: of America. First, it's the essence of a commander in
33:46
Speaker 3: chief fulfilling his responsibility.
33:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great point.
