- 1:07Speaker 4: That if you're pulling us up on YouTube, these side
- 1:10Speaker 4: panels are NSFW right here.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Not suitable. Sex Appeals off the charts with this poncho.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I'm doing fantastic. Coming off an absolutely electric Tuesday. The
- 1:27Speaker 4: vibes are great on this side of the table.
- 1:30Speaker 5: It's a nice neck behind you.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Woo!
- 1:35Speaker 2: Be careful.
- 1:36Speaker 6: It's you.
- 1:36Speaker 7: We get it.
- 1:38Speaker 2: God. You, Mike Glennon. This is literally no one give
- 1:42Speaker 2: you a compliment at home. Man, just be careful. Careful
- 1:52Speaker 2: for what? Told you, NSFW.
- 1:57Speaker 7: It's a pretty tame picture.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a neck. Just a hairy neck.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's right below the jugular. You must be talking about
- 2:04Speaker 3: the pearl snap.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yep. For sure. All right. I got these t-shirts too.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I got a t-shirt on today too, Bo. It's not
- 2:13Speaker 2: just the performance pearl snaps.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Anyway.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Man, can I just tell you, I had a great
- 2:21Speaker 3: day yesterday.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Had a great day.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Couldn't tell.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Please. Gotta be honest. Tell us everything. Can I say something?
- 2:28Speaker 7: This is a safe space.
- 2:29Speaker 2: This is a safe space. Okay, good. No one's listening.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It's just us four.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Um, We had a great day. Great show yesterday. Was
- 2:38Speaker 4: excited about our show. We broke down a little film.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I've been craving some pizza for a while.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Weeks. All weeks.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I just hadn't had the opportunity to go. Because it's
- 2:48Speaker 4: tough to get to lunch. As soon as we leave,
- 2:49Speaker 4: it ends at 10. A lot of the lunch places
- 2:51Speaker 4: don't open until 11. So it's like, there's this weird
- 2:54Speaker 4: dead period.
- 2:54Speaker 8: There's a lot around Baton Rouge that doesn't open until 11.
- 2:58Speaker 7: And I'm like, y'all need to wake up.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I know.
- 2:59Speaker 4: And so there's a lot of lunch places that I
- 3:01Speaker 4: want to get lunch, but I just can't because... I'm
- 3:04Speaker 4: just not going to go wait in my car in
- 3:05Speaker 4: a parking lot for 45 minutes. I need to get
- 3:09Speaker 4: some food. But yesterday, we watched film, so it was
- 3:11Speaker 4: a little bit later. I was like, you know what?
- 3:13Speaker 4: I've been craving this pizza. So I went and got
- 3:15Speaker 4: that pizza. I just sat by myself at the bar.
- 3:18Speaker 4: They had SportsCenter going. I just ate my pizza, and
- 3:21Speaker 4: I was happy as anything. Went to the factory for
- 3:23Speaker 4: a little bit just to check on things.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I went home, and I worked in the yard.
- 3:27Speaker 7: What pizza?
- 3:28Speaker 2: It was Roca.
- 3:29Speaker 7: I love Roca.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I know. It was good. I've been craving it for
- 3:32Speaker 2: about two months now.
- 3:33Speaker 7: There's a new pizza place that I really want to
- 3:36Speaker 7: go try.
- 3:36Speaker 8: It's called Prince Street Pizza, and I keep seeing videos
- 3:39Speaker 8: of it on Instagram.
- 3:41Speaker 2: That John Bones Jones? Yeah. Yes.
- 3:43Speaker 5: You were asking why he was in town earlier last week.
- 3:46Speaker 7: That was why. I saw that he was in town,
- 3:47Speaker 7: and I was like, how did I not know that
- 3:51Speaker 7: John Jones was going to be in town? I was
- 3:53Speaker 7: pissed when I saw the pictures. I had major FOMO.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 7: But that pizza looks so good. I want to try it.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Where is it at?
- 3:59Speaker 7: Segan.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Segan? Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Don't ask me where I'm seeing him, but it's on Z.
- 4:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Bye, you.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's close to me.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah. That's closer than Rocha is. Yeah. It was good
- 4:12Speaker 2: that I sat up there by myself.
- 4:13Speaker 7: I love doing that sometimes.
- 4:15Speaker 2: That was great.
- 4:15Speaker 7: Yeah. Like sitting at a restaurant by yourself at the bar.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Minimally scrolled.
- 4:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Just watching the TV.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Talk to the bartender a little bit.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 7: I'll talk to a bartender.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I've definitely gone to Piccadilly by myself. I do it
- 4:27Speaker 2: a lot. And spread out all the things that you get.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Just spread them out. I do it a lot on Fridays.
- 4:34Speaker 2: One at a time. That's a sicko right there. Piccadilly
- 4:37Speaker 2: by yourself. I love it. That's good. I like that.
- 4:39Speaker 7: That is sick.
- 4:40Speaker 4: It's therapeutic to go to a restaurant by yourself sometimes.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It is. It is.
- 4:45Speaker 8: I used to do like on Sundays I would take
- 4:47Speaker 8: myself out.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Allow myself to take myself out.
- 4:51Speaker 9: I would.
- 4:52Speaker 7: And it was awesome.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Then I went to the house and like I said
- 4:56Speaker 4: I did some yard work. And it cleared out some
- 4:58Speaker 4: of the woods next to us. Chopped down a.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Tree or two.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Then cut it up and burned it.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Made a couple little safe zones.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Just burned some sticks.
- 5:08Speaker 5: God, that does sound nice.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It was nice.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Just chopping and burning some wood.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Did you need to try to feel a little manly
- 5:16Speaker 2: yesterday when you went out? No. Just chopped down a
- 5:20Speaker 2: tree and I cut it up. It's actually a really
- 5:22Speaker 2: good workout. Really good for your grip strength.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Dude, I got a new electric hedge trimmer on Sunday.
- 5:28Speaker 5: I felt like I was Elon Musk. I was like,
- 5:31Speaker 5: this is what money feels like.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 5:34Speaker 5: I was going old school, like, you know, like actual clippers.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:38Speaker 5: For years. And like, oh, I did the whole front
- 5:41Speaker 5: porch area in like 10 minutes. It used to take
- 5:42Speaker 5: me like an hour.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Unreal.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Incredible.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It's incredible what technology will do these days.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Incredible.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I really do feel like electric hedge clippers made Taylor's
- 5:56Speaker 2: toes curl when he saw it.
- 6:00Speaker 5: I've been looking for a while. Trying to get the
- 6:03Speaker 5: right one.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh, I know you have. All right. Anybody else go
- 6:08Speaker 2: get pizza by themselves after the show yesterday?
- 6:10Speaker 1: No.
- 6:11Speaker 2: No. It was good.
- 6:13Speaker 7: Got Jason's Deli, though. Not after the show. After my
- 6:16Speaker 7: workout class, I was like, I didn't get a spot.
- 6:19Speaker 7: I know. My thing, when I go to Jason's Deli,
- 6:21Speaker 7: y'all know this. I hit that salad bar up.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 7: That salad bar is.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You get just the one trip price or the.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Whatever the manager's special is, I don't know.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Because you get half a sandwich with that. So I
- 6:34Speaker 7: got half a club.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I think that's a one trip.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Salad and Sammy's.
- 6:37Speaker 7: All I need is one trip.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't go. Listen up. They don't count.
- 6:42Speaker 7: They don't count.
- 6:43Speaker 2: They don't count.
- 6:43Speaker 7: But if I were to go up there, what were
- 6:45Speaker 7: they going to do?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Stop me?
- 6:46Speaker 7: Nobody else was there. I'm using up all their product.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 7: I'm not letting you go to waste.
- 6:52Speaker 5: I'll argue that the more you eat on a salad bar,
- 6:54Speaker 5: the healthier you are because salads are good for you. So, like,
- 6:57Speaker 5: if you binge eat that, you're good.
- 6:58Speaker 4: And let me tell you, if you go to Jason's
- 7:00Speaker 4: Deli and you pay for more than just a one-trip salad.
- 7:02Speaker 7: You're stupid.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You're dumb. You're just wasting money. Right. You stealing from
- 7:09Speaker 2: Jason's Deli? No, you're not stealing.
- 7:12Speaker 7: You're just getting a refill on your favorite salad. Well,
- 7:16Speaker 7: I get half a sandwich, so I'm only allowed to
- 7:19Speaker 7: have one salad.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It's just one trip to Jason's Deli.
- 7:22Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Do you get the ice cream cone on the way out, though? Oh, yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 7: I didn't last night, but sometimes I do.
- 7:26Speaker 2: For sure. For sure.
- 7:28Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I just ate a salad. I earned this.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I earned this.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Look at you.
- 7:34Speaker 7: JP in the chat said, what happens to the other
- 7:35Speaker 7: half of the sandwich? The other half goes to the manager.
- 7:38Speaker 7: It is called the manager special.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It might. Hey, that's true. I never thought about that.
- 7:41Speaker 2: You get half a sandwich. The manager's in the back.
- 7:43Speaker 5: He's like, hell yeah, another manager special.
- 7:45Speaker 7: That half of a club hits so hard.
- 7:49Speaker 4: You know, it kind of reminds me of when you
- 7:52Speaker 4: go to, usually it's like a local place. Maybe it's
- 7:55Speaker 4: a brewery that's got that brewery that serves food and stuff.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:59Speaker 3: And they always have that line item on the menu,
- 8:00Speaker 3: like buy the staff a beer.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 2: You ever seen that before? Yeah. Always makes me smile.
- 8:06Speaker 7: Buy them half the sandwich.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I like to buy the staff a beer. You do?
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'll bring the beers. And I'll bring the beers. And
- 8:12Speaker 2: I'll bring the beers. I respect that. Oh, Matt's big
- 8:18Speaker 2: on buying people beers. Everybody give him a pat on
- 8:20Speaker 2: the back.
- 8:21Speaker 3: And chopping down trees and wearing sexy poncho shirts.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Hi.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Guy's fishing. He's Bill dancing for a compliment right now.
- 8:30Speaker 7: John in the chat.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Should have talked about the betting lines.
- 8:33Speaker 7: The Wilson girls want a shout out from y'all. I'm
- 8:36Speaker 7: guessing his daughters.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Wilson girls?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Say now. Shout out to the Wilson girls. Say now.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Brittany and Tiffany.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Say. Okay. I don't think so.
- 8:46Speaker 5: If that's their names, that'd be awesome.
- 8:47Speaker 7: I don't think that's it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: That would be really funny, but it's not. So shout
- 8:50Speaker 2: out to the Wilson girls.
- 8:51Speaker 5: All right, Wilsons.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Say now.
- 8:52Speaker 7: Be good at school. Don't drop out.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:55Speaker 7: Education's important.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Super important. Some would say the most important. Learn how
- 9:03Speaker 2: to pronounce collegiate. I don't know. I don't even teach
- 9:07Speaker 2: that in college. Even though you go.
- 9:11Speaker 7: You're right. They teach it in kindergarten when they.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Teach you phonics.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That's like, I'm a collegiate athlete.
- 9:16Speaker 5: They never told me how to spell.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I still get stopped in public too.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Still like recently. Hey man.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Yeah, buddy.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's.
- 9:25Speaker 5: That's going to, that's going to fall.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Mario had his follow him for years.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Did I ever tell you the wedding story?
- 9:33Speaker 2: This was about a year ago. It was the effect
- 9:36Speaker 2: of both of them.
- 9:36Speaker 5: This was about a year ago. So this was about, what,
- 9:38Speaker 5: three years after that happened?
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 5: I'm at a wedding out in, like, Maripal area, and
- 9:43Speaker 5: you know how you line up at the end of
- 9:44Speaker 5: the wedding, like, bride and groom come out, I'm lined up,
- 9:47Speaker 5: a girl across from me keeps, like, looking at me.
- 9:48Speaker 5: She's like, I know you. I'm thinking, like, okay, do
- 9:50Speaker 5: we go to school together? She's like, are you the
- 9:52Speaker 5: guy that was in that sovereignty video?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I was like, you've got to be kidding me.
- 9:56Speaker 5: That was four years ago.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Oh, so good. I was like, and it wasn't even me.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You know, so virginity. Yeah. God, poor Mario.
- 10:07Speaker 7: Again, a lot more excusable than collegiate.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with that. I actually do agree with that.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Because he wasn't seeing it. He was just trying to
- 10:15Speaker 2: think of the word. Yep. I don't agree. You know,
- 10:19Speaker 2: it's just, but we're, you know, we're entitled to our
- 10:22Speaker 2: own opinions. I still don't believe it's a real world.
- 10:29Speaker 2: But you were a collegiate athlete. I was a college athlete.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Nobody says collegiate. I feel like they do. I feel
- 10:38Speaker 2: like that's like the one time that they actually do
- 10:40Speaker 2: use that word. See, exactly. There you go. It's the
- 10:42Speaker 2: one time they use it.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Maybe if. I don't know. I don't even know who
- 10:49Speaker 2: would use it. I don't know.
- 10:51Speaker 3: In what world, what setting you would have to be
- 10:56Speaker 3: to use that word?
- 10:58Speaker 2: In college. How? You said it in college?
- 11:02Speaker 5: No, but it's like.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Nobody said it.
- 11:04Speaker 5: You're right on that one. That's actually a fair point.
- 11:07Speaker 2: No rebuttal.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Someone texted that there's a burn ban.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I know.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I saw it said safe. I have a safe burn zone.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You notice he said it, and then he quickly pivoted
- 11:17Speaker 2: to safe burn zone.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Super safe. That's a concrete thing. Don't worry about it.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Don't worry about it.
- 11:29Speaker 2: You wouldn't get it. You wouldn't understand.
- 11:31Speaker 7: I'm no longer worried about it.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I never was to start with. You got to be honest.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Guts to be honest. Don't come at me with your
- 11:42Speaker 3: burn ban stuff.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I know. Keep up with the news.
- 11:50Speaker 7: Couldn't tell.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Yeah, luckily I don't burn stuff. I never know when
- 11:53Speaker 5: there's a burn ban.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Victoria's like, hey, there's a burn ban. We could use
- 11:56Speaker 2: some rain, though.
- 11:56Speaker 5: I'm like, all right.
- 11:57Speaker 2: We could use some rain. Got to be honest with you.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Why would you lie about that? Wow, I feel like
- 12:07Speaker 2: I'm under trial this morning. Do I need an attorney?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Just to do radio?
- 12:16Speaker 7: You can get Gordon.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You're going to go a few good men here? Can't
- 12:21Speaker 2: handle the truth?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Please tell me you get that reference.
- 12:27Speaker 1: What?
- 12:28Speaker 2: A few good men? Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Great movie.
- 12:32Speaker 7: One of those when it's on TV, you got to
- 12:34Speaker 7: watch it.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You got to stop where it's at?
- 12:36Speaker 5: We had it on in the delivery room.
- 12:39Speaker 3: It's better than our movie reference yesterday.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Wait, what was yesterday?
- 12:43Speaker 3: Oh, Kitty and Stud. Or Rocky, which one? No, those
- 12:46Speaker 3: were great.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Those were good. The Hartnett. Josh Hartnett's one. Oh, Faculty? Faculty.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Few good men better than that one. I can't help
- 12:54Speaker 3: that you've never seen it.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:57Speaker 3: You can't help that.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Your movie knowledge from when you were supposed to see
- 13:02Speaker 2: movies is really low. I don't know. It just felt
- 13:04Speaker 2: like we had different tastes.
- 13:05Speaker 3: From 98 to 2002, you only watched comedies. Yeah, I mean,
- 13:12Speaker 3: because I like to smile and laugh.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I've seen them all. Every movie quote that you and
- 13:16Speaker 4: Taylor go back and forth with. Like when I look
- 13:19Speaker 4: at that, what was that movie again?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Josh Hartnett.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Every time I see a Josh Hartnett movie, like I
- 13:24Speaker 4: saw that trailer yesterday when I was pulling it up,
- 13:26Speaker 4: and I was like, man, this looks like you got
- 13:29Speaker 4: to have like 10 sprays of cologne to go see
- 13:32Speaker 4: this back in 2000.
- 13:34Speaker 2: No doubt.
- 13:35Speaker 3: You got to have a lot of cologne on to
- 13:37Speaker 3: go see this back.
- 13:37Speaker 2: In the day. You keep saying cologne. It's just cool water.
- 13:39Speaker 2: That was the option. That was yoke. What is it? Yope?
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, J-O-O-P. It was the pink bottle.
- 13:47Speaker 2: It's all right. Cool Water Curve as well.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Curve.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Curve was, ooh, when that came out.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Got another one.
- 13:53Speaker 8: Is Matt aware of what the C in NCAA stands for?
- 13:59Speaker 2: No.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Wait, NCAA is not a word?
- 14:02Speaker 7: I just thought NCAA was NCAA.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 8: Oh.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Oh. Hell yeah, brother. Those haircut, those are dynamic.
- 14:16Speaker 7: I mean, he's so happy.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It looks like he's not.
- 14:19Speaker 8: He looks like Kalen DeBoer in that AI video.
- 14:21Speaker 2: He does.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Mark Davis is just thriving right there.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Kalen DeBoer showing up. Wasn't expected to sing. They said, Kalen,
- 14:30Speaker 2: you want to sit in with us? Really, me? Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Hell yeah. I'm sitting with you. And then was like
- 14:36Speaker 2: the one with the most excited to sing. You know
- 14:38Speaker 2: what I mean? Yeah, you could hear him. Yeah, you could.
- 14:40Speaker 2: You hear him from the other room. No doubt. All right.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Curve did hit hard at him. You're right. Here's one more.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Clinique Happy. That was another one. Clinique? I think that's
- 14:52Speaker 2: what it was. I think it was Orange Bottle, I think.
- 14:56Speaker 7: I did not know Clinique Happy.
- 14:57Speaker 4: During the holidays, I'd go get the little things, the
- 15:00Speaker 4: little samples, the little sample vials.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Before you were trying to spit some game, you were
- 15:05Speaker 2: going to get Michael Jordan cologne. Well, yeah. That was before.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Then it graduated. Too cool water and curve. That's when
- 15:13Speaker 2: Walgreens just came out, you know?
- 15:17Speaker 4: I remember getting the samples. The little booklet on the spine.
- 15:22Speaker 4: It had that little insert. You put that little tube
- 15:25Speaker 4: of cologne in there.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Get the Chanel one. Not a big deal. The
- 15:29Speaker 2: fancy stuff. Couldn't afford. Channel? Channel.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Channel number five.
- 15:35Speaker 2: All right. We'll take a break. Oh, look at that. Okay.
- 15:37Speaker 3: All right. I recognize that bottle.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's Urnge.
- 15:42Speaker 7: It's very orange.
- 15:43Speaker 2: All right. Shreveport Evangel hated to see that coming. I'm
- 15:49Speaker 2: telling you, the mall, those employees at the mall loved
- 15:53Speaker 2: to see Shreveport Evangel coming. Yeah, they did. My God.
- 15:58Speaker 2: The puka shell one in the middle. The people at
- 16:00Speaker 2: the Dillard's Lobby were licking their chops and right behind them,
- 16:02Speaker 2: the Abercrombie people. We weren't big enough for that. All right.
- 16:07Speaker 3: The people at the Buckle, they were like, oh, yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 3: Evangel's coming. Buckle and Hollister right next to each other. Hey,
- 16:13Speaker 3: put a couple more holes.
- 16:14Speaker 2: In them blue jeans. Get them sails on. The holes
- 16:16Speaker 2: weren't there yet. Come on. No, holes weren't in blue
- 16:19Speaker 2: jeans yet. Too early to be lying.
- 16:26Speaker 7: I just know you're wearing flip-flops with your jeans.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Birkenstocks, not flip-flops. Like the toes. Covered toes. And those
- 16:34Speaker 2: are so back, too, and they shouldn't. Yeah, covered toes.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Not like the dogs weren't out.
- 16:38Speaker 7: I got some fake Birks that I put on. And
- 16:41Speaker 7: I have some real ones, too.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the dogs weren't out. They're covered. Okay. Sunroof is closed.
- 16:50Speaker 2: All right. More OTB when we come back.
- 16:53Speaker 9: Off the Bench.

- 18:12Speaker 10: Thank you. Thank you.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I used to run and talk to when me and
- 18:39Speaker 2: my girl was having problems.
- 18:41Speaker 10: That's right. You used to say it'll be okay.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Suggest little nice things I should do.
- 18:48Speaker 9: Welcome back to Off the Bench. Wednesday's show is brought
- 18:51Speaker 9: to you by Poncho.
- 18:51Speaker 7: Think about what.
- 18:52Speaker 10: You and how you make me want to be the one.
- 18:55Speaker 10: I'm waiting to move into a relationship with you.
- 18:58Speaker 2: This is what you do. Think about all the things
- 19:02Speaker 2: that come along with you. Make me, make me.
- 19:07Speaker 10: All right, welcome back at OTB, a little R &
- 19:12Speaker 10: B Wednesday here on the show.
- 19:34Speaker 7: What are you laughing at?
- 19:36Speaker 2: I just wrote a comment in the chat. I can
- 19:40Speaker 2: see Flynn shooting an RPG backwards.
- 19:45Speaker 10: I mean.
- 19:46Speaker 7: All right, boys, get out the way.
- 19:55Speaker 6: I don't know why that made me laugh.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You're Charlie Sheen in Hot Shots. That's who you are. Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 2: he is. Oh, man, that made me laugh. That tickled me.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I think the more you think about it, the more
- 20:13Speaker 5: you're like, I don't know how these things work.
- 20:17Speaker 2: There's two ends of the tube.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Which one?
- 20:20Speaker 6: I think what's the movie that came out back in
- 20:26Speaker 6: the day, In the Army Now? That's what they're talking about.
- 20:30Speaker 6: They were saying y'all should make a remake of that.
- 20:33Speaker 2: David Allen Greer? Yeah. Andy Dick? Yeah. He was funny
- 20:41Speaker 2: for a couple minutes. Yeah, probably sure was funny, too.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I mean, he has a little sense of. Son-in-law.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Yep.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Encino man. Yep. What's the movie when they're in the bubble?
- 20:52Speaker 5: The one that he's got Encino man.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah. How's it going? What's the one where they're in
- 20:59Speaker 2: the big dome? Biodome. There you go. Nailed it. We
- 21:04Speaker 2: got there at the same time. Mm-hmm. Encino, man. Good movie. Yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 2: shut up, Paul. Love that movie. I've thought about, like,
- 21:12Speaker 2: because we're... Paul, are you sure you're still with us? Yeah.
- 21:15Speaker 2: You're still with us? Mm-hmm.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Him and Rick. Rick Flair. Oh, yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 7: News to me.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Rick Flair kind of pledged his allegiance to LSU yesterday,
- 21:28Speaker 2: even though he has, like, 75... He's like Marler.
- 21:31Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 21:31Speaker 2: He has 75 favorite teams, but... He did put a
- 21:35Speaker 2: very AI-generated picture of him and Lane Kiffin together. No way.
- 21:40Speaker 2: And some of the members of the chat thought maybe
- 21:42Speaker 2: he was dead.
- 21:43Speaker 3: We were just confirming.
- 21:44Speaker 10: Really?
- 21:45Speaker 2: Honestly. Rick's still with us. Right?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Because I put someone in the grave early.
- 21:52Speaker 2: For sure. Who was that?
- 21:55Speaker 7: We've done it a ton. You did it to Joe
- 21:59Speaker 7: Pesci recently.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Joe Pesci.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I put Joe Pesci in the grave. That's on me.
- 22:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Rick's 77. He's still with us.
- 22:07Speaker 5: News to me.
- 22:08Speaker 7: I'm really glad, though, to hear it.
- 22:09Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 5: I mean, he does just seem like the type of
- 22:13Speaker 5: guy that lived a rough life, you know?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, he's going to do a walk. I mean,
- 22:17Speaker 2: it's not going to be as electric as Mississippi State walk, but,
- 22:20Speaker 2: you know, it'll be pretty good. Oh, God, I just
- 22:23Speaker 2: realized what you said.
- 22:24Speaker 7: That was like the most electric one of the entire year.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I mean, probably.
- 22:28Speaker 7: The people were.
- 22:28Speaker 3: The people were so fired up. People didn't even look sleepy.
- 22:32Speaker 7: I couldn't even get to the front because they were
- 22:34Speaker 7: coming in droves.
- 22:35Speaker 8: Like, I thought I was going to get trampled by
- 22:37Speaker 8: the people that wanted to see Matt Flynn.
- 22:39Speaker 3: I think they actually said, It registered as an earthquake
- 22:42Speaker 3: during it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: The walk did? Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Big one, too. Not just a small one. Not just
- 22:47Speaker 2: a small one, like back in the 80s, you know?
- 22:49Speaker 2: This one was like... It was a biggie.
- 22:51Speaker 5: They felt it out in Cali.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Good luck, Rick.
- 23:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 7: Good luck to Rick.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Sorry, I didn't mean to derail your thoughts over there, Jake.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to think. I had something. I can
- 23:09Speaker 2: see you thinking. Real hard. I did. I had something. But, yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 2: he's still with us.
- 23:14Speaker 7: I'm happy about it.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Shout out, Rick. Was it the Colts that used to
- 23:20Speaker 2: do the Ric Flair breakdown? I think it was. I
- 23:22Speaker 2: think it was the Colts. The guy they had doing
- 23:25Speaker 2: it was on point every time. He'd go through it
- 23:29Speaker 2: and then two claps and a Ric Flair. He was
- 23:31Speaker 2: really good. I'd look that up. Need to play that
- 23:33Speaker 2: a little bit later. Tay-Tay, inside the dock here. You've
- 23:37Speaker 2: done a nice job of putting together. I think it
- 23:39Speaker 2: was Tate's ape. It was Alondra. I apologize. Auburn's offensive
- 23:43Speaker 2: weapons outside of their quarterback, Byron Brown, because Brown is
- 23:48Speaker 2: obviously their leading passer. He's their leading rusher. He is
- 23:50Speaker 2: a big portion of their offense. What else, sir, do
- 23:55Speaker 2: the Auburn Tigers have on the plane?
- 23:57Speaker 5: Jeremiah Cobb, good running back. Not the flashiest numbers in
- 24:01Speaker 5: the world, but he ran for almost a thousand a
- 24:03Speaker 5: year ago without Byron Brown there, and He only has
- 24:07Speaker 5: 306 yards rushing, and you're going to say, okay, it's
- 24:09Speaker 5: not that great, but it's on 58 carries. He averages 5.3
- 24:12Speaker 5: a carry. And actually, in his four-year Auburn career, that's
- 24:15Speaker 5: about his average, five and a half a carry. So
- 24:18Speaker 5: he's been a really efficient back. Chaz Nimrod, excellent name,
- 24:22Speaker 5: and Keyshawn Singleton.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Nimrod?
- 24:24Speaker 5: They have a Nimrod and a Neptune in wide receiver. So, Matt,
- 24:28Speaker 5: you're going to love that. But Nimrod and Keyshawn Singleton,
- 24:31Speaker 5: kind of the two big weapons on the outside. And
- 24:33Speaker 5: then a tight end, how about this name, Jake Johnson?
- 24:36Speaker 5: Younger brother of Max Johnson. I completely forgot he was
- 24:39Speaker 5: at Auburn.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I was about to trivia Flynn over there. Probably got it.
- 24:43Speaker 5: No, you wouldn't.
- 24:44Speaker 2: No, you wouldn't. Nice brother.
- 24:45Speaker 5: You wouldn't have gotten it.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You would not have gotten it.
- 24:47Speaker 5: I completely forgot he was at Auburn until yesterday when
- 24:49Speaker 5: I was looking at this. They got some weapons. Jeremiah Cobb, again,
- 24:52Speaker 5: a good running back. Gobson, their second team running back.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Pretty good player as well. The question is, how effective
- 24:59Speaker 5: are any of them if they neutralize Byron Brown?
- 25:03Speaker 2: That's going to be, obviously... Priority number one when he
- 25:07Speaker 2: is the leading rusher, and it's been something that has
- 25:10Speaker 2: given you trouble in the past. Even this last game
- 25:12Speaker 2: against Mississippi State, like the plays that they had, you know,
- 25:15Speaker 2: Puckett had some big runs. That's got to be something
- 25:19Speaker 2: that no matter what, like you're stopping that from the
- 25:23Speaker 2: first play. And even if you have to be overly
- 25:25Speaker 2: aggressive to stop it and you get beat a couple
- 25:28Speaker 2: times maybe over the top, You got to live with
- 25:31Speaker 2: it because you can't go into a game. We talk
- 25:33Speaker 2: about it all the time. The thing that the other
- 25:35Speaker 2: team does well, that you have not stopped a ton,
- 25:39Speaker 2: like you've been better, but you can't let that one
- 25:43Speaker 2: thing be the reason why you give up points.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 4: And I think that you have to make Byron beat
- 25:49Speaker 4: you with his arm. So you can't let him just
- 25:53Speaker 4: take seven, eight on the ground here, 10, 11 there.
- 25:57Speaker 4: You can't let him get, You can't let him scramble
- 26:00Speaker 4: up the middle. So if he's going to beat you
- 26:03Speaker 4: with his legs, you've got to make him beat you
- 26:04Speaker 4: to the edge. You've got to make him scramble outside
- 26:07Speaker 4: if he's going to do it. It's harder to do that.
- 26:09Speaker 4: There's less ground you can make up. He can really
- 26:11Speaker 4: cut you if he gets a scramble up the middle.
- 26:15Speaker 4: You can't let their running back. What was his name, Taylor?
- 26:19Speaker 4: Jeremiah Cobb. Yeah, you can't let him. You can't let
- 26:23Speaker 4: them have a day either. And I don't think they will.
- 26:25Speaker 4: LSU's defense is 11th in the country at rushing defense.
- 26:28Speaker 4: They're allowing only 88.1 yards per game as a defense.
- 26:33Speaker 4: So I think that you don't have to change much
- 26:37Speaker 4: on defense because you do so many things.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And you do things well. You confuse people.
- 26:41Speaker 4: You bring a lot of pressure. Blake Baker is aggressive
- 26:45Speaker 4: by nature. So you continue that. And what's really cool
- 26:48Speaker 4: about the defense this year is you have an offense
- 26:51Speaker 4: to back you up. So like, if you are, you
- 26:55Speaker 4: can take some chances to stop a running game. You
- 26:57Speaker 4: got to, you got a quarterback like Byron Brown. Like
- 26:59Speaker 4: you can try to make him beat you with your arm.
- 27:02Speaker 4: You can get, you can put your guys in some
- 27:04Speaker 4: one-on-one situations deep.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 4: There's a little risk involved with that, but it's okay.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Like a year ago, you couldn't make a mistake because
- 27:13Speaker 4: you couldn't score this year. You can score. So like,
- 27:16Speaker 4: as it's, it's great for Blake Baker. especially with some injuries,
- 27:20Speaker 4: you can take a few more chances and bring some
- 27:22Speaker 4: more point. You can bring some more pressures and not
- 27:26Speaker 4: just pressure to sack the quarterback pressures to contain the
- 27:29Speaker 4: quarterback pressures to stop different running plays. So like you
- 27:32Speaker 4: can do some different things and put your guys in
- 27:35Speaker 4: some riskier situations because you know, you do have an
- 27:38Speaker 4: offense that is capable. That's one of the top offenses
- 27:41Speaker 4: when it comes to scoring and yardage in the country
- 27:44Speaker 4: and certainly the sec. And so it's, it's, You can't
- 27:49Speaker 4: let the running back have his best day of the year.
- 27:53Speaker 4: They're a leading rusher outside of their quarterback has just
- 27:56Speaker 4: over 300 yards. So you can't let him have his
- 27:59Speaker 4: best day of the year. Make the quarterback beat you
- 28:01Speaker 4: with his arm. Try to contain him. He's going to
- 28:03Speaker 4: get some runs. He's going to be able to scramble
- 28:05Speaker 4: and make a couple of plays here and there.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Bend.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Don't break in those situations. But make Auburn have to
- 28:11Speaker 4: beat you. through the air because I don't think they
- 28:15Speaker 4: can do that enough.
- 28:16Speaker 2: All right. How about when we come back, we'll kind
- 28:18Speaker 2: of give you some examples of what you can do
- 28:21Speaker 2: to stop some of that, right? If you want to
- 28:23Speaker 2: be aggressive, if you want to say, okay, quarterback, you're
- 28:26Speaker 2: not going to beat me with your legs. You're going
- 28:28Speaker 2: to have to beat me with your arm. What can
- 28:30Speaker 2: we expect LSU to do? Do they have to do
- 28:32Speaker 2: something outside of what they currently do? Is it going
- 28:34Speaker 2: to be something that's a new look for them? We
- 28:36Speaker 2: will break that down when we come back here on OTV.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Off the bench. What is that, Alondra? What is that, Alondra?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Come on. Come on. What is this? What does everybody need?

- 30:06Speaker 7: So I do what I do my way.
- 30:07Speaker 2: What about you, huh?
- 30:09Speaker 8: Huh?
- 30:10Speaker 7: Come on!
- 30:11Speaker 2: I do anything and everything you want to. Make your
- 30:15Speaker 2: girl say, ooh, ooh.
- 30:17Speaker 10: Why is he so fly? She beats me, but she
- 30:23Speaker 10: want to get freaky. You can get mad if you
- 30:26Speaker 10: want to.
- 30:27Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in OTB. A little R &
- 30:30Speaker 2: B Wednesday here on the show. Jake Flynn, Elijah Tate,
- 30:33Speaker 2: Wolfpack all here with you talking a little LSU and
- 30:37Speaker 2: Auburn on the plains. Now, we talked about it a
- 30:39Speaker 2: little bit earlier. Auburn's got a quarterback in Brown that
- 30:42Speaker 2: is a really good runner. He is their leading rusher. Now,
- 30:47Speaker 2: not saying he can't throw the football. He's made plenty
- 30:49Speaker 2: of plays in his college career with his arm, but
- 30:51Speaker 2: he has one more touchdown than he does interceptions, right? So,
- 30:56Speaker 2: he will turn the ball over, but he is dynamic
- 30:58Speaker 2: with the ball in his hands. And I think it's
- 31:01Speaker 2: really good defenses. He's had big games on the ground.
- 31:05Speaker 2: So we asked the question, what do you do? What
- 31:08Speaker 2: can you do for me? I was sitting there thinking, okay, well,
- 31:12Speaker 2: you play something like cover one, a robber, a rat,
- 31:17Speaker 2: and you're going to man up on the outside because you've,
- 31:20Speaker 2: you know, you feel like you probably have the advantage there. Um,
- 31:23Speaker 2: The star, nickel, nickel Sam, whatever you want to call
- 31:27Speaker 2: it this week. He's going to be playing man as well.
- 31:29Speaker 2: You're going to have the free safety, have the middle third.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Then you have some type of a robber quarterback player.
- 31:37Speaker 2: We've talked about that in the past as well. To me,
- 31:40Speaker 2: you could do something like that, but you were making
- 31:42Speaker 2: a good point during the break when we were talking
- 31:44Speaker 2: about it. With as many different things as Blake Baker does,
- 31:48Speaker 2: he's going to have multiple things. He's going to bring
- 31:50Speaker 2: pressure from multiple looks. You don't necessarily have to go
- 31:53Speaker 2: out there and try to reinvent the wheel.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Yeah, just everybody's got to be on the same page.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Everybody's got to be very sound in their pass rush
- 32:01Speaker 4: techniques and pass plays because this is one of those
- 32:05Speaker 4: games where you can't be selfish as a pass rusher.
- 32:08Speaker 4: We saw it against Texas A & M. You have
- 32:10Speaker 4: kind of the same game plan against all quarterbacks that
- 32:15Speaker 4: can beat you with their legs. I kind of look
- 32:18Speaker 4: at how LSU prepared for Texas A & M. And sure,
- 32:22Speaker 4: Marcel's maybe not the player, but he has been against LSU,
- 32:26Speaker 4: so you've got to go into that thinking he's going
- 32:28Speaker 4: to have another game against you. Well, everybody was very
- 32:33Speaker 4: sound in their assignments on pass plays and obvious passing downs.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Like you have, we talk about you rush to a spot.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Like you never, as a pass rusher defensive end, you
- 32:43Speaker 4: never really want to get past the quarterback's depth when
- 32:47Speaker 4: you pass rush because you don't want to make, Give
- 32:50Speaker 4: him easy scramble yardage. What is easy scramble yardage? Well,
- 32:54Speaker 4: I mean, it's like Kentucky's two-point conversion. You give him
- 32:58Speaker 4: the A and B gap. You let him just go
- 33:00Speaker 4: and run right up the middle. He's got to really
- 33:02Speaker 4: earn it. He's got to break tackles. He's got to
- 33:04Speaker 4: get out to the edge if he's going to beat you.
- 33:07Speaker 4: And so why do you do that? You rush as
- 33:08Speaker 4: a defensive end. We've all seen them, defensive ends, rush
- 33:11Speaker 4: over the top. They come in behind the quarterback and
- 33:14Speaker 4: sack him. That's not the type of sacks that, you
- 33:17Speaker 4: really want to have versus a guy that can beat
- 33:19Speaker 4: you with your legs. Now there were clips against A
- 33:22Speaker 4: & M where one side of your offensive defensive line
- 33:27Speaker 4: was given the green light to do that.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:30Speaker 3: You'd have Prince.
- 33:30Speaker 4: Well, like there's a couple of times where Prince well
- 33:32Speaker 4: was coming around the edge and he did, he did
- 33:35Speaker 4: try to sink behind him, but really he was trying
- 33:38Speaker 4: to either push him out the other side because they
- 33:41Speaker 4: would have dropping defensive linemen. So like, let's just say
- 33:44Speaker 4: Prince well was rushing hard off the right side.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:48Speaker 4: They had somebody over the left side that was, we
- 33:51Speaker 4: could call him kind of like a robber, but he
- 33:53Speaker 4: was in that zone. So whether it was a defensive end,
- 33:55Speaker 4: defensive tackle, or linebacker that was mugged up in the
- 33:57Speaker 4: line of scrimmage, he was dropping in that zone. And
- 34:00Speaker 4: what else you had, if Prince Will was rushing around
- 34:03Speaker 4: the edge on the right, you had a scraping linebacker
- 34:06Speaker 4: to that side too. That if he did step up
- 34:10Speaker 4: into the pocket and move towards the direction of where
- 34:13Speaker 4: Prince Will just vacated, you had a backer there.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Or a down safety to that area. So you have
- 34:19Speaker 3: to be disciplined.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Like football.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Isn't just 11 guys out there, like playing with their
- 34:24Speaker 4: hair on fire. Like just, you can't, this is one
- 34:26Speaker 4: of those games. You can't be selfish and try to
- 34:28Speaker 4: do what you like. You have to be disciplined in
- 34:30Speaker 4: your pass rushing. And even when you're not past rushing,
- 34:33Speaker 4: you have to be when somebody else's past question, you
- 34:35Speaker 4: have to compensate for the area that he's leaving. Um,
- 34:38Speaker 4: and so there's a lot of really cool examples in
- 34:40Speaker 4: that Texas a and M game, but Blake does so
- 34:43Speaker 4: many different, um, He throws so many different variables when
- 34:49Speaker 4: it comes to, like, what the quarterback sees pre-snap and
- 34:52Speaker 4: then his reaction post-snap. Like, he's great at bringing corner blitzes.
- 34:56Speaker 4: He's great at bringing slot pressure, simulated pressures.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I was going to say, I think that's going to
- 35:02Speaker 2: be big this week. Yeah, it's going to be.
- 35:05Speaker 4: The simulated pressures are huge because, you know, you stress
- 35:09Speaker 4: the pass protection rules, right? You got your offensive linemen going.
- 35:13Speaker 4: They're blocking four down plus the mic or four down
- 35:15Speaker 4: plus the wheel. And then the running back's got the
- 35:18Speaker 4: mic to Sam, to anybody else, whatever. Well, if you
- 35:20Speaker 4: bring the mic and the Sam, you stress their rules,
- 35:24Speaker 4: but then you can drop defensive ends into zones.
- 35:27Speaker 2: So you stress the rules.
- 35:29Speaker 4: You might get a free rusher, or you might get
- 35:31Speaker 4: a good matchup, an advantageous matchup, like on a running
- 35:33Speaker 4: back or something, but you're still only bringing four guys.
- 35:36Speaker 4: So you still have guys that are backing off into
- 35:39Speaker 4: the defensive, you know, into the second level that can–
- 35:43Speaker 4: guy can you know air quotes spy the quarterback or
- 35:46Speaker 4: at least be in the zone to stop crossers or
- 35:49Speaker 4: stop the quarterback if he runs like i don't see
- 35:51Speaker 4: a lot of just traditional spies anymore where it's just
- 35:54Speaker 4: like it's a box in one coverage basically where everybody's
- 35:57Speaker 4: got somebody and there's just one guy playing man-to-man on
- 35:59Speaker 4: the quarter i don't see that a lot right it's
- 36:01Speaker 4: more in this in this world of that we live
- 36:03Speaker 4: in and college football and defenses like in the simulated
- 36:06Speaker 4: pressure world You're doing spies by having guys in zones,
- 36:09Speaker 4: in areas, and scraping guys over the top and moving
- 36:13Speaker 4: your defensive linemen east to west instead of north to south.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you're listening, you're like, well, okay, the
- 36:19Speaker 2: two-point conversion against Kentucky, where was the game there? Well,
- 36:23Speaker 2: they had a call, they had a quarters call, and
- 36:26Speaker 2: they didn't check out of it, and so the D-line
- 36:28Speaker 2: was playing it like it was the first call. And
- 36:31Speaker 2: so when you don't check out of it, then that's
- 36:33Speaker 2: why they played it like they did because– they probably
- 36:36Speaker 2: were assuming that they had a linebacker behind them. The
- 36:38Speaker 2: linebacker was on a different page than them. Yeah, they
- 36:40Speaker 2: needed to be rushing east-west and not north-south. And what
- 36:44Speaker 2: people don't see, I've seen a lot of still shots
- 36:46Speaker 2: from that Kentucky game.
- 36:47Speaker 4: How do they not know it's coming? Well, what they
- 36:50Speaker 4: don't show is Kentucky first lined up in a tight
- 36:53Speaker 4: bunch formation. And in a bunch formation, if you're playing zone,
- 36:56Speaker 4: you're going to make a quarters call. And then they
- 36:59Speaker 4: make the quarters call, then they spread out to five
- 37:01Speaker 4: wide real fast. They got you. I mean, they got you.
- 37:04Speaker 4: You got to make a better call than that, but
- 37:07Speaker 4: the defensive line did not. They should have been playing
- 37:09Speaker 4: some sort of game.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Because if they were playing a game, then the end
- 37:11Speaker 2: would have been looping right where Minchie ran.
- 37:14Speaker 3: He wouldn't have been able to cartwheel in, at least.
- 37:17Speaker 10: Right.
- 37:17Speaker 2: It would have had to work for him. Yes, it
- 37:18Speaker 2: would have been interesting. All right, simulated pressure. Let's see
- 37:22Speaker 2: if Alondra is listening during Eye in the Sky. All right,
- 37:27Speaker 2: simulated pressure. Come on, Alondra.
- 37:30Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 37:32Speaker 2: What? What is it? What is it?
- 37:37Speaker 8: It looks like you're bringing pressure, but you're going to
- 37:40Speaker 8: drop back.
- 37:41Speaker 2: And then you only end up bringing.
- 37:43Speaker 3: How many of the 11?
- 37:46Speaker 2: You're good.
- 37:46Speaker 5: Four.
- 37:46Speaker 2: There you go. Stay with confidence. It's like, let's say
- 37:51Speaker 2: that you've got four down linemen. You've got two linebackers
- 37:56Speaker 2: that are mugged up in the eight. Well, three of
- 37:59Speaker 2: the D linemen come. Yes. One of the linebackers comes.
- 38:03Speaker 2: The other linebacker drops out, and the other edge drops
- 38:06Speaker 2: in the coverage. Yes. How many are you bringing? Three
- 38:09Speaker 2: D linemen, one linebacker. Four. So, simulated pressure. Yes. Because
- 38:15Speaker 2: some people are going to watch that tape and be like, oh,
- 38:17Speaker 2: they're blitzing. They're bringing pressure. Here comes the linebacker. Actually,
- 38:20Speaker 2: they're only bringing four. That's not a pressure.
- 38:23Speaker 4: How you would technically score it as a pressure? Because
- 38:27Speaker 4: it does stress your pass blocking techniques and rules.
- 38:31Speaker 2: We were kind of the opposite. We wouldn't chart it
- 38:34Speaker 2: as a pressure if it only ended up being four.
- 38:38Speaker 4: If the non-obvious rushers come, then you do create it,
- 38:44Speaker 4: but you start.
- 38:46Speaker 2: You say simulated pressure. Or we would call it F,
- 38:51Speaker 2: an F pressure, because they bring a four. And they
- 38:54Speaker 2: mess with your assignments. Oh, the F stands for mess? No, four.
- 39:02Speaker 2: You dummy. Oh, man. I, yeah. Like, I mean, because
- 39:08Speaker 2: I've seen it, you know, the two double-A mugged linebackers
- 39:12Speaker 2: will come. The two D tackles will spread out, and
- 39:16Speaker 2: they'll rush, but they'll rush on the outside. The two
- 39:18Speaker 2: edges will even drop, and they'll go into coverage. Yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 2: and then you even see it to where defensive end,
- 39:23Speaker 2: defensive tackles, if they're athletic, like, They will. The Ravens
- 39:27Speaker 2: did this. They'll back off and they'll almost do it.
- 39:29Speaker 2: like a green dog. Yeah.
- 39:31Speaker 3: They'll back off to see what's happening. If the back
- 39:33Speaker 3: stays in.
- 39:33Speaker 2: They rush. The Ravens did it with Claes Campbell two
- 39:36Speaker 2: weeks ago. He's older than us. He's still playing. Yes.
- 39:40Speaker 5: He's still massive.
- 39:42Speaker 2: He's dropping into coverage. Yes. He actually, he had to,
- 39:45Speaker 2: he dropped once. He dropped into the flat. He was
- 39:48Speaker 2: a flat defender. Okay.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Some poor pass-catching running backs out there. You have 6'8,
- 39:55Speaker 5: Calais Campbell just covering you.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he's so big.
- 39:59Speaker 5: He's probably good in cover. He didn't even have to
- 40:01Speaker 5: be that close to the receiver. How the hell are
- 40:02Speaker 5: you getting the ball over? He's got to be in
- 40:05Speaker 5: year 20.
- 40:06Speaker 10: How's he good?
- 40:07Speaker 2: I think he's– is he not our– if he's not
- 40:10Speaker 2: our year, he's the year before after.
- 40:11Speaker 5: He's 40. Because I remember when they said he turned 40.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Oh, no doubt he's 40. He's played more games on
- 40:16Speaker 2: the D-line in the NFL than any other player. He
- 40:18Speaker 2: must chop wood.
- 40:19Speaker 9: All right.
- 40:21Speaker 2: All right. We will take a break. Continue breaking down
- 40:24Speaker 2: LSU and Auburn on the Plains when we come back
- 40:27Speaker 2: here on OTB.
- 40:28Speaker 10: Off the bench.
- 40:29Speaker 2: I just actually want to keep this going. Go ahead.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Central plumbing.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I was expecting like a, I don't know. Never want
- 40:41Speaker 2: to run out of hot water. Flushing a toilet.
- 40:42Speaker 9: Again.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I've tried to do a toilet flushing sound and I
- 40:46Speaker 3: can't think.
- 40:47Speaker 2: I can't. Figure out how to make it. Well, you
- 40:49Speaker 2: know what? You don't have to make it because if
- 40:50Speaker 2: you work with Central Plumbing, your tool that's going to
- 40:52Speaker 2: do the work. That's a good point. It's going to
- 40:54Speaker 2: be working. Nice. And not broken. And it's going to flush.
- 40:57Speaker 2: And it's going to make the sound. 24-7, 365, weekend, holiday,
- 41:01Speaker 2: emergency service. They have got you covered. Go to the
- 41:04Speaker 2: website today. It's in Baton Rouge, the surrounding areas, and
- 41:07Speaker 2: now also in Lafayette. That's right. Top right corner. You'll
- 41:10Speaker 2: find that contact information as well. Not only in emergencies
- 41:14Speaker 2: and repairs. They've got you in, well, if you want
- 41:17Speaker 2: a little upgrade. You want to get a little Beyonce.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You want to upgrade your home, your business. They've got
- 41:21Speaker 2: you covered there as well. That's right. Don't look at
- 41:23Speaker 2: me like that. They'll do it. They'll do it every
- 41:25Speaker 2: single time. And they'll do it at centralplumbing.org. That's centralplumbing.org.
- 41:36Speaker 9: Welcome back to Off the Bench. Wednesday's show is brought
- 41:39Speaker 9: to you by Poncho.
- 41:43Speaker 10: We've been doing it my way, getting my bread for years.
- 41:47Speaker 10: In my career, the kind of brother. In and out
- 41:52Speaker 10: of my life, I.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Hate love and laughter and tears. Without a care. Until
- 41:57Speaker 2: I met this.
- 41:59Speaker 10: Girl who turned the tables around.
- 42:05Speaker 7: She caught me by surprise and said, no.
- 42:08Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in, OTV. Sorry for you, Doc,
- 42:14Speaker 2: that you don't have headphones on over there. You can't
- 42:16Speaker 2: hear this usher banger. R & B Wednesday.
- 42:21Speaker 3: He walks in every week, and it just looks like
- 42:22Speaker 3: we're at a silent disco.
- 42:25Speaker 2: He does walk in, like, right when the music's playing.
- 42:28Speaker 2: I want to remind you about our friends over at
- 42:31Speaker 2: Go Tommy! Yo! Tommy's Windows, Doors, and Siding. GoTommy's.com. G-E-A-U-X.

- 42:45Speaker 2: That went to Tommy's Windows, Doors, and Siding. Don't forget,
- 42:48Speaker 2: they can also hook you up with gutters as well.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Go check out the website at Gallery of Work. Remember,
- 42:53Speaker 2: they can customize your job. Go Tommy's. Back out. One
- 43:01Speaker 2: of the things that we'll continue talking about with LSU
- 43:03Speaker 2: and Auburn is, well, the venue. That is a very
- 43:07Speaker 2: tough place to play. And the one thing I do
- 43:09Speaker 2: want to say about it, it is good at 11 a.m.
- 43:12Speaker 2: It's good at 230. It's good at 630. It's pretty
- 43:17Speaker 2: good at all times. It's going to be something that
- 43:23Speaker 2: you have to deal with. And we can't come up
- 43:26Speaker 2: here and act like the Fighting Tigers have been good
- 43:31Speaker 2: on the road. You can't do it. It would be false.
- 43:34Speaker 2: It would not be factual. Six straight games that they've lost.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Going back to, you know, Going back a way, I'm
- 43:43Speaker 2: not talking about just this year, but you've lost both
- 43:47Speaker 2: road games this year. Now, the Ole Miss situation, I
- 43:50Speaker 2: think that one is unique. Kentucky's a good environment. They
- 43:55Speaker 2: were ready to go. This is going to be better
- 43:58Speaker 2: than both of those. Now, I like the Ole Miss
- 44:01Speaker 2: one for the uniqueness. Dude, 60-whatever-thousand compared to however many
- 44:07Speaker 2: Jordan Harris hits.
- 44:08Speaker 3: They're not going to be as emotionally hurt.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Right, but the crowd noise and the amount of people.
- 44:19Speaker 2: We're talking about a significant amount of people difference. Yeah,
- 44:22Speaker 2: but you know what? You've got to be able to
- 44:24Speaker 2: handle this.
- 44:26Speaker 4: They took two losses on the road, but at least
- 44:28Speaker 4: at this point of the season, they are way more
- 44:30Speaker 4: calloused in a really rowdy environment than any team probably
- 44:35Speaker 4: in the country because of the two games that they
- 44:37Speaker 4: played both at night. Now you get an 11 o'clock game.
- 44:41Speaker 4: I get it. I get what you're saying. It's a
- 44:43Speaker 4: really hard place to play. We never won there. It
- 44:45Speaker 4: is tough to win in Auburn.
- 44:48Speaker 3: I got it.
- 44:49Speaker 4: But let's also make no mistakes. Let's not act like
- 44:51Speaker 4: 11 a.m. doesn't make a big difference either. It does
- 44:56Speaker 4: make a difference.
- 44:57Speaker 1: 11 a.m.
- 44:57Speaker 3: In Auburn is not going to be anywhere close to
- 44:59Speaker 3: Ole Miss at night.
- 45:01Speaker 2: So, Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, 64,000. Kroger Field, 61,000. Jordan-Hare, 88,000. So
- 45:10Speaker 2: my point is, like, this is going to be probably
- 45:13Speaker 2: the loudest.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going to be cheering but yawning as well.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Not yawning from Borden. Just because they're sleepy.
- 45:20Speaker 2: All right. Well, it is something certainly that LSU has
- 45:24Speaker 2: to show that they can handle. And you're right. They've
- 45:26Speaker 2: been calloused in it, but they have not been victorious yet.
- 45:29Speaker 2: That is the part that they have to figure out
- 45:31Speaker 2: how to go on the road away from Tiger Stadium
- 45:34Speaker 2: where they've been really, really good. And it's good coming
- 45:37Speaker 2: up because you've got some big home games. This one,
- 45:41Speaker 2: this is the one. You got to find a way
- 45:43Speaker 2: to be victorious, to celebrate victory on the plane coming
- 45:47Speaker 2: back to Baton Rouge. All right, Dr. Stephen Etheridge, when
- 45:49Speaker 2: we come back, hour number two.
- 45:52Speaker 9: Off the bench.
- 45:55Speaker 2: All right, go to RejuvenateMedical.com. RejuvenateMedical.com if you're feeling tired,
- 46:00Speaker 2: maybe you're struggling with weight or simply just not feeling
- 46:03Speaker 2: like yourself. Remember, they are going to personalize a plan
- 46:06Speaker 2: for you, not somebody else. My plan is going to
- 46:08Speaker 2: be different than Matt's. Matt's is going to be different
- 46:10Speaker 2: than Tay-Tay's. Tay-Tay's is going to be different than Alondra.
- 46:12Speaker 2: We're all going to have different plans, but the end
- 46:14Speaker 2: result is going to be the same because we're going
- 46:16Speaker 2: to feel like our youthful self. We're not going to
- 46:18Speaker 2: feel tired. We're going to have a little pep in
- 46:20Speaker 2: our step. That first step is going to be back.
- 46:22Speaker 2: All of those things are going to be true, even
- 46:24Speaker 2: though we're on a different plan. So take the first
- 46:26Speaker 2: step towards looking better, feeling better and living better. Visit

- 46:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:33Speaker 4: And they'll really customize a treatment plan for you. And
- 46:36Speaker 4: we say treatment, it's just getting you to feel better,
- 46:38Speaker 4: getting you to, if you want to look better, maybe
