- 0:01Hello everyone and welcome to the random Heathen ramblings
- 0:03podcast, where we discuss all sorts of things.
- 0:06Dramatic, Heathen re related. My name is Jessie.
- 0:09I am your host. Let's get into it.
- 0:32Hello everyone, and welcome back to this week's episode of the
- 0:36random Heathen ramblas podcast. Hope you've all had a good
- 0:41weekend, a blessed and Victorious, Seeger bloat.
- 0:46The Seeger bloat festivities was three days long during this
- 0:50past, full moon. This past week, which was a pink
- 0:52moon believe as they call it every year.
- 0:57So, you know, my tribe and I, we gathered my wife and, of course,
- 1:00all of us we gathered for that on Saturday night, had a great,
- 1:05great fun time and I hope you all did too.
- 1:11So this week's episode is been a long one coming.
- 1:17I've been kind of sitting on this topic for a little while
- 1:20now, mainly just because well a couple of reasons.
- 1:25Number one is I've had other other stuff that I wanted to put
- 1:30out as well or wanted to put out first and and then secondly is I
- 1:37just have been dreading dreading this one.
- 1:42There's there's times when we You know, put put put forth a
- 1:48task that we just don't want to want to see complete and this is
- 1:54one of them. So I suspect that by the end of
- 1:59this episode. If not before the end, I will
- 2:03have some pretty vigorous feedback from certain
- 2:08individuals or certain folks out here and will likely lose some
- 2:12subscribers, but I don't care or followers or whatever.
- 2:15So, if you get to the end of this episode, and what I'm
- 2:19saying, just doesn't jive with your flavor, you know, things
- 2:23don't line up with your view of the world.
- 2:25Then feel free to disregard everything else that I've said
- 2:29or stood for over the last. Was it now Four years that I've
- 2:36been releasing content on this platform.
- 2:40You know, you can disregard all of that and hang yourself on the
- 2:45words that I'm saying today. And I mean, that in all do
- 2:49sincerity, if you want to hang on anything.
- 2:52Then, hang on, the words that I say today about this particular
- 2:55topic because this is the end of it.
- 2:58This is this is it and I'm not going to, I'm not going to
- 3:07respond to comments. I'm not going to engage with any
- 3:14anything to do with this so you can send an email, you can
- 3:19comment about it, you can do whatever you want to do about if
- 3:22you feel that way. But I would just assume you
- 3:25silently. See yourself out, if this
- 3:28doesn't sit well with you at all. so today's episode is going
- 3:36to be talking a bit about the differences between this
- 3:42fascination with Odin, right? With people nowadays and want to
- 3:47want to refer to as Odin is mmm. That and and the difference
- 3:54between that and the cult of Odin or a cult of Odin and the
- 3:59variables are the differences between these two things.
- 4:02So I just want to preface this. By saying that ago you can call
- 4:06yourself whatever you want. You can identify as whatever you
- 4:10want in Heathen re you know you can call yourself a dramatic
- 4:15polytheist a Norse Pagan. You want to call yourself a
- 4:20viking. Go ahead.
- 4:21Ed. But we've had this, we've had,
- 4:25we've had, we've gone rounds on this podcast.
- 4:27And we've talked at length about how we're not really Vikings.
- 4:30But look, if you want to call yourself that, whatever I'm not,
- 4:35I'm not the one that picks your socks on in the morning or
- 4:38picture outfit out for the day, so you can do whatever you want
- 4:41and call yourself whatever you want.
- 4:44I mean, I've been called all kinds of things I get on here
- 4:46and I wear tunics and I wear other things that kind of get me
- 4:52into the The presentation mode of this podcast and I get
- 4:57called, you know, cosplay Viking want to be, or larper, or this
- 5:01or that. And, you know, nobody majority.
- 5:05These people don't know me. None of the people who say that
- 5:07actually know me because if they did, they know how just how
- 5:11wrong they are. So again, what's in a name, a
- 5:15name is a name and one of the names that for some reason,
- 5:20people want to defend Or standby in the modern Heathen day.
- 5:26Isn't they are Odin assists. I'm an onanist.
- 5:32And I firmly believe that anyone that wants to adopt that name or
- 5:39adopt that title or use that to identify themselves.
- 5:43As a heathen, is not a heathen there.
- 5:45There is nothing about Odin is mm.
- 5:48I mean there might be some nuances, but, but ultimately
- 5:51onanism is, is Not Heathen re & 2.
- 5:55Use that as an umbrella term for Heathen, re I feel very strongly
- 6:01against it. Could be that if someone saying
- 6:05it out of ignorance because they think that's, that's the term.
- 6:07Like, I remember years ago, I was called a noticed, and I
- 6:11quickly corrected that person, I said, no, no, no, I am not an
- 6:15onanist. I am a pagan and I'm Heathen,
- 6:19you know, my path of spirituality, my religious
- 6:23practices would be Defined as a Germanic Pagan or dramatic.
- 6:29Even Norse even whatever, but I'm definitely not a no danis.
- 6:32Don't, don't. Misconstrue that were to be
- 6:35lumped into what I believe in. But I can see why some people
- 6:40whether through ignorance or just maybe discovering this path
- 6:44or through other information would put Odin ISM under the
- 6:48same umbrella as he didn't work. Because if you got online and
- 6:52you start looking up you know origins of Odin is Or what is
- 6:55Odin is MM and what is it to be a, no danis and all this time.
- 6:58So if you're Googling that on the internet you're going to
- 7:00find a lot of things that point back to northern European
- 7:03spirituality. You know and That's a term that
- 7:09gets used to describe even read as well, right?
- 7:14In an indigenous folk way of northern European people.
- 7:23So I wanted to talk today about that and the differences between
- 7:28that and actual The actual Cult of Odin so much as we know or
- 7:35how this Cult of Odin would have existed because to be an onanist
- 7:38is not to be Heathen. We're going to get into some of
- 7:42that here in a bit but that if you have a, have an affinity
- 7:46towards Odin, or any one of his multiple names, or any of the
- 7:51names of his origin. So Walden has built on, who
- 7:56didn't Within, I mean whatever name you want to attest to this
- 8:04figure? If that's your Affinity, it
- 8:09might be worth noting some things to keep in mind about it
- 8:14and I want to start off with that.
- 8:16I want to start off with talking about the cult of Odin, you
- 8:22know. So some things to bear in mind
- 8:29actually write what we know of from Information that we've
- 8:36learned scholarly work, historical evidence.
- 8:41Academic work, you know, whether its archaeological, whatever.
- 8:47We know. Enough that Odin as Odin right
- 8:53was. A deity, a figure that was
- 8:59definitely, you know, venerated and worshipped in.
- 9:05In Scandinavia in northern Europe but that that came
- 9:08through later on in Scandinavian history.
- 9:15And we also know that for the most part that that Odin was a
- 9:19God that was not venerated by everyone or by the the the major
- 9:26population Odin tends to be seen as a god associated with, The
- 9:36elite, the either, the warrior Elite, the political Elite, the
- 9:41aristocracy the nobility royalty, he was not a god of the
- 9:47people for the, for the, for the majority speaking.
- 9:52And again, we don't even see his his his presence as Odin being
- 9:58inserted into Scandinavia until You know, after the like 6th
- 10:08Century or so. Cee or BC.
- 10:18I believe that's that's accurate.
- 10:19But so some things that we know of for for a fact write that
- 10:24Around the 13th century you know?
- 10:26So that's going to be like what the the 1200s Odin was.
- 10:32transformed from the, The war, god, the god of death.
- 10:38God of poetry, the all of these things that have his Origins
- 10:42from Continental. Mainland Europe, where he came
- 10:47from, where this idea came from. Because again, it's important to
- 10:51realize that the northern Scandinavian countries, didn't,
- 10:58Didn't find out about this Odin figure until the Germanic tribes
- 11:02moved North and started to invade and all this around the
- 11:0413th century Odin changed and transformed the bed in terms of
- 11:08his his figure by the ever-growing and strong
- 11:16Christianity movements that were that were happening at the time
- 11:19you know? So a lot of his A lot of his
- 11:24attributes became Godlike. In the sense of the the
- 11:29abrahamic, God, you know, or christ-like.
- 11:32If you will, we see a lot of similarities or Parallels
- 11:36between the Christian myth and Christian lore that again has
- 11:43parallels to the Germanic or Norse in Scandinavian lore You
- 11:48know, Jesus, God, who hangs on a cross sacrifices himself to
- 11:54himself, literally God in the form of Jesus.
- 12:00Being sacrificed as the ultimate sacrifice.
- 12:03Odin hanging himself again different hanging but still a
- 12:08hang the god. Motif definitely is.
- 12:14Evident. Now, we know that the that, that
- 12:17hanging sacrifices hanging sacrifices, were a thing.
- 12:25And that's, that's definitely evident in such a tiff stations
- 12:30as Adam of Bremen. Who is?
- 12:33I believe the, the person that documents the human sacrifices
- 12:38that were done, every nine years in uppsala, Rolled up Salah
- 12:43Sweden. So that's one thing we know of.
- 12:49We also know that Odin Wasn't always a central figure in
- 12:55Scandinavia, and that it was not.
- 13:00You know Odin was not an indigenous God to the far north.
- 13:03He was he was brought up again from the south and from the
- 13:08lower Continental Mainland Germanic countries that came
- 13:14through by way of I believe like Denmark, you know?
- 13:16So as We start seeing things. Move further up is, when we
- 13:23start seeing Odin becoming relevant up there, for the most
- 13:27part, you know, the the swedes held on to freyr as their major
- 13:34deity, right? So Odin wasn't even a main
- 13:38figure until until later on. It's probably during, like I
- 13:44said, the late 5th early, 6th Century.
- 13:47These when we start seeing or when we, when we have like
- 13:54historical evidence archaeological, evidence of
- 13:56there, being a God who may have possibly later become this Odin
- 14:00figure, you know, the whoa Dinars name But it's really only
- 14:05during like that. The Viking age that that Odin
- 14:09became a central figure of religious Focus again, it was
- 14:15because of the introduction of him by the Germanic tribes
- 14:20during their Invasion. So the cult of Odin as it were
- 14:24this, this Cult of specific followers that that adhere to,
- 14:28or wanted to adhere to a worship of Odin almost exclusively.
- 14:34Was happening around again, the sixth century and as I mentioned
- 14:41before it was it was isolated or or kept pretty.
- 14:46Restricted to the aristocracy though the political and Warrior
- 14:52Elites so Kings nobility. Chieftains perhaps, you know,
- 14:57these these were the types of figures that that had a focus on
- 15:02Odin. And that's a lot of, you know,
- 15:06again it's pretty condensed. I'm not going to need to go into
- 15:09a lot of great detail. You guys can do it, your own
- 15:12research on this, Cult of Odin, because there were, there were a
- 15:17lot of different Cults of God's. You know what I mean?
- 15:19There was evidence of Cults of Thor.
- 15:22Have colts of freyr, may be free or frigg.
- 15:28Freya. I mean, so there's that there's
- 15:30that the bait of our Freya and freak the same where they ever
- 15:36separate. How do you know, where they the
- 15:37same thing and just became separate later on that sort of
- 15:39thing. But we have, you know, you can
- 15:42do your own research on that. It's, it would be a very long
- 15:45podcast to go into those specific things.
- 15:47But we know that there are or where I should say, a specific
- 15:53focus by certain people at a certain time to venerate, Odin,
- 15:59that is not the same. As Odin is mmm in the modern day
- 16:03there in the modern context. So, as we focused on fact, for
- 16:13The Cult of Odin, let's look at some facts regarding Odin is mm.
- 16:18So when did it all originated, It is not a old thing, it it
- 16:26doesn't predate. The early, I think it doesn't
- 16:32predate like the mid 20th century early 20th century,
- 16:36maybe at the latest, but it originated by a guy who was an
- 16:41Australian lawyer and a particular facet, he had a
- 16:46particular fascination with, with fascism.
- 16:49All right. It's name is Alexander.
- 16:51Rudd Mills and Mills had little to no scholarly background.
- 17:00You know, he was again, fascinated with with Fascism and
- 17:04and trying to as he would later write about bringing, you know,
- 17:08the indigenous religion back to the British people's.
- 17:13So on so forth. So he was he was kind of just He
- 17:21was a whack job. I mean he had no scholarly work,
- 17:25background at that time to know what it was that he was actually
- 17:28doing to try and reconstruct or bring back old ways.
- 17:34He even re or old ways paganism. You know whether you call it
- 17:37indigenous, he even re or indigenous beliefs of people of
- 17:41Northern Europe. He just had a fascination with
- 17:45with Fascism and this was This is where he found it that to
- 17:49work for him. His his version of Odin is mm.
- 17:53So Mills has only missed liturgy.
- 17:56Actually is heavily based on an on an Anglican Christian order
- 18:01of worship. He had published a couple of
- 18:03books by the mid-1950s, I would say, I think it was, like, 1957
- 18:08is I had a couple of books published by then or around then
- 18:13and, you know, so you can, you can research that and find out
- 18:17his again. Alexander Rudd Mills or a red
- 18:20Mills and just search what books he wrote and it's riddled with
- 18:24with again in the Anglican Christian orders of things, you
- 18:28know, when to do certain things, you know, just Certain rights of
- 18:35B, that certain times of the day and blabbity blabbity blah.
- 18:40So that's where Odin is. Mmm.
- 18:43Originated was with with this Australian fascist whom so
- 18:49happen to be a lawyer. So fast forward a few decades,
- 18:54maybe and enter the oh Dana krait Which is. one of the
- 19:04organizations that is still to this day recognized as a White
- 19:11supremacist organization, and they Define Odin ISM as a
- 19:18natural religion of the people of Northern Europe.
- 19:23Which is again not true. Go back to the fact that, you
- 19:28know, again you call it whatever you want but if you're calling
- 19:30it something wrong, then you gotta stop it.
- 19:33You know, if you're a heathen and none of the values of Odin
- 19:36ISM or the, oh Dana Crichton anything that it's a soak.
- 19:40Then simply don't call yourself that you know, if I don't want
- 19:43to be associated with something because of the negative
- 19:48connotations that that name has then I'm not going to call
- 19:52myself that you know. Oh well this misunderstood I
- 19:54it's not really misunderstood. I think you just delusional and
- 19:57that you're unwilling to face the music and face the facts of
- 20:01what of what the facts truly are.
- 20:04You know, again that being that the edenic, right?
- 20:10Odin is. Mm, are all very, very modern
- 20:14movements and and all very modern takes on something and
- 20:18it's in, it's a Miss, it's a skewed, take on actual Heathen,
- 20:24re on actual Germanic paganism. A lot of not, I don't know if a
- 20:29lot of, you know, but also the infamous nine Noble virtues.
- 20:34Which everybody seems to, you know, get all up in arms about
- 20:39and I've done short form content about and I've had a lot of
- 20:42backlash on that it was information.
- 20:44I was sharing information and trying to educate and whatnot.
- 20:46The deal the old inuk right? Is the organization that
- 20:50codified the nine Noble virtues which is which is why I do not
- 20:59Have any of that, a part of my, you know, my repertoire of heat
- 21:03and I don't, I don't need that to be a good Pagan.
- 21:06I don't need those charges or those codes of conduct, nothing
- 21:10really close, or just buzz words, you know?
- 21:12I mean, I don't need that. We don't need that and he even
- 21:16re and the nine Noble virtues as a thing, just really ought to be
- 21:22They ought to be not ever talked about in forgotten because of
- 21:25their affiliation in association with the neogenic, right?
- 21:32They codified it there. They're the reason why they're
- 21:35so popular today. And you know, let's let's let's
- 21:39get away from that stuff. We don't need code words.
- 21:43We don't need buzzwords to live. The ways that means something to
- 21:50us and to our, our, our descendants and the people near
- 21:54and dear to us. The authentic right has also
- 22:00founded by known. Supremacists known, white
- 22:05supremacists in fascist and as I mentioned is still today
- 22:07recognized As a white supremacist organization.
- 22:12So, when you've got all of that against you, when you've got all
- 22:17of those odds stacked against you, why in hell him do would
- 22:23you want to have any sort of association with it?
- 22:26Why would you want to Defend. Yourself as an onanist.
- 22:34You know, knowing that it has all of literally everything bad
- 22:38about it associated with it. And again, I say, you know, call
- 22:45yourself whatever you want. But I mean shit, if you are
- 22:48truly not and and, you know, if you are truly not a supremacist,
- 22:53if you are truly not a fascist, if you truly, do not feel that
- 22:57things about Focus. Even we are are, are, are wrong
- 23:01or if, you know, if you truly feel that things about Focus,
- 23:04even re are are just inherently wrong.
- 23:06Then don't call yourself an openness.
- 23:10You can call yourself a even you know, but if you want to insist
- 23:13that oh Dennis is the right term for it.
- 23:16Then you're not part of what I believe in near where we're as
- 23:22far apart, as the East is from the West.
- 23:24We are our values. Do not align.
- 23:26We met on the surface to some because of certain symbols that
- 23:31we wear looked to be the same thing and that's the big
- 23:34problem. When when symbols get
- 23:36appropriated by the wrong group, everybody suffers for it.
- 23:42Everybody gets you know a a bad rap because of it, you know.
- 23:51And I've gone through I've gone through and we all have gone
- 23:57through times or phases, may be where we're trying to find
- 24:00ourselves or trying to find what it is that we want to identify
- 24:03as be called, you know. Associate with etcetera.
- 24:06And that's the thing that we land on at the time.
- 24:09You know, I can remember at one point especially my early baby
- 24:15Heathen days, you know, coming in and thinking, you know, I
- 24:17will see you again in Valhalla and all this other kind of stuff
- 24:19that I look back at my own value.
- 24:22Know they'd be even Jesse. No, that's bunk.
- 24:26You know. That's, that's ridiculous.
- 24:28That's silly. And no, you don't think that
- 24:31way. So you know, we're again if what
- 24:36you want to call yourself or identify as is an onanist, then
- 24:40then, then you have nothing. I have no part with you.
- 24:43We are not similar. We are not alike inherently.
- 24:48You know, the again on the surface and on the exterior.
- 24:51They seem like there are things that we share in common, but I
- 24:54absolutely do not hold to, or, or place any good worth on on
- 25:00the values that Odin ISM has as a whole go through and read some
- 25:06of the things contained in, on the website for joining the oh
- 25:10zdenek. Right, you can't join the o
- 25:13zdenek right? If you are not native European,
- 25:17okay? So it basically if you can't
- 25:19they want you to send a picture. In.
- 25:23This is very similar to how the AFA has run things for their
- 25:28entire existence since the early 70s, and it's an affront to the
- 25:36gods as an affront to our ancestors.
- 25:37It's an affront to our people to just people in general, that,
- 25:42that were over here. Calling something by a name that
- 25:50is associated in calling something of sacredness, right?
- 25:54Calling our religion something that is definitely not, not
- 25:57sacred, that is riddled, with hate and bigotry.
- 26:03And they can make all the excuses they want is, you know,
- 26:05it's not hate, it's not about, it's about it's about preserving
- 26:08folkways and it's like yeah. But you know what folkways there
- 26:11is nothing like that that exists in really any northern European
- 26:17countries anymore. I mean, it's so riddled with
- 26:19with other influences and things from from proto-indo-european
- 26:23cultures to Middle Eastern to to just all over the sorts of
- 26:29things. Right?
- 26:30What is what is truly indigenous now anymore?
- 26:33And and what is being appropriated as such or what is
- 26:36being adopted as such. I just I don't I don't see how
- 26:41someone who is truly not hateful and not and not bigoted and not
- 26:46would want to have the name Odin asan them.
- 26:48I wouldn't I don't see why people who are not that way
- 26:53Wood. you know, I've had comments on other videos that
- 26:58I've done on other podcasts that I've that I've released about
- 27:02stuff like this and people are literally just like all of this
- 27:05other content that I don't get interaction on, you know, It's
- 27:11crickets. And then I post one, you know,
- 27:1360 second long thing about. Hey, watch out for Odin this
- 27:15because And then here they come out, the woodwork.
- 27:19Well, I'm a notice and I'm nothing like that and then, you
- 27:21know, my husband's an openness and hey I didn't ever feel that
- 27:26way. Well then if you don't feel that
- 27:27way and stop calling yourself that Ditch the name.
- 27:32Forget it bury it ba get burn it.
- 27:35Something get rid of it to stop. Stop identifying as that stop.
- 27:40Stop appropriating that as a way of life because it's putting
- 27:46honest people that people that are in this life and in and that
- 27:51that live this way, you know, honestly truthfully sincerely in
- 27:57a bad light and it's in it makes it Very difficult.
- 28:00And it, you know, it goes back to a lot of folks out here doing
- 28:04so much good, you know, with the name of heathen re behind them
- 28:09or In The Name Of Heaven room saying not that they're using
- 28:12that as a, as a torch to carry per se.
- 28:15But, you know, there's a lot of good being done and it's
- 28:21unfortunate that that people are seeing that as a, you know,
- 28:23what, it doesn't matter, right? Or wrong.
- 28:25It doesn't matter. Don't be using these symbols.
- 28:27This is how, you know, problems arise. is how, you know, how
- 28:31could a problem arise, if you're doing something, you know,
- 28:35rightly and goodly, how could a problem arise, if you're if
- 28:38you're doing it for the right reasons, if it's being done for
- 28:42the wrong reasons, and of course, it's going to come
- 28:43across and or it's going to be seen as being this dishonest and
- 28:51disingenuine, and we're in genuine disingenuine, it's
- 28:56opposite of genuine It's going to be noted and it's going to be
- 29:02seen as such. This isn't it shouldn't be any
- 29:06question in people's minds and it shouldn't be something that
- 29:09we have to stop. You know, don't don't don't use
- 29:12the banner of the Raven don't don't use the hammer, don't
- 29:16don't use any of the rooms don't do anything with them in the
- 29:19name of you know activism okay, I mean I guess we're just And
- 29:28I'm not and I'm not that person, you know, saying I'm not the one
- 29:31that's out here, doing it. And I don't ever plan on being
- 29:36because I'm much more, much more Hearth Centric, you know what I
- 29:41mean? Like, I focus on what's
- 29:45happening within my inner circles, my inner yard, and my
- 29:48tribe, the immediate extensions of that inner yard.
- 29:52I don't worry about the big picture stuff, I'm not in that
- 29:56game. I don't I don't have any Than.
- 30:00In doing that. I barely had any interest in
- 30:03wanting to do this. Because again, it's just, it's
- 30:07such a ridiculously stupid topic to have to keep covering and
- 30:11keep hashing over and I'm sick of it.
- 30:14I'm sick of a lot of things. the older, I get, the less tolerant
- 30:19I get and the more I just want to the more I just want to, you
- 30:25know, Isolate just get away. And just focus on the things
- 30:32that I know, make me and my people happy like my family, my
- 30:37inner yard, my inner tribe. You know, I have a very tough
- 30:42time in. This might surprise people.
- 30:49People that have been following me on this journey of mine that
- 30:52have been subscribing to my content that have been
- 30:55supporting me over these years. I don't, I don't really like
- 31:05Putting myself out of the way for people.
- 31:07I don't know. I'm aware once you've proven
- 31:14your Worth to me, then I will and your family to me, you know,
- 31:18then that's when I will go out of my way and I will be there
- 31:22for you. And I mean, I just case in
- 31:27point, I was literally starting to record the beginning of this
- 31:30podcast. And I get a call five minutes in
- 31:35from my father in Lon. Hey, busy.
- 31:38I'm like, yeah, kind of doing a podcast.
- 31:40What's up? Oh, nothing.
- 31:42I'm just You need some help with something.
- 31:45I say I'll be there in a minute. I'll be I'll be right there.
- 31:48Stop what I was doing here on this podcast.
- 31:52And went and helped my family, that's what it's about.
- 31:56That's what I'm about. You know, and if what I needed
- 31:59to do for my family, you know, prevented me from releasing an
- 32:07episode of a podcast this week, then there wouldn't have been a
- 32:10podcast this week. That's just it's just as simple
- 32:14as that none of this. And I you know, I don't mean to
- 32:18sound unappreciative but I mean I do because I appreciate the
- 32:23audience that this gets to however small or big or
- 32:26whatever, but none of this really matters, you know, by
- 32:30stop doing this stuff tomorrow, people will be upset, maybe
- 32:37people will be people who miss it and then they'll forget
- 32:43they'll forget, they'll move on to the next biggest thing or the
- 32:47next podcaster or they'll find something else to occupy their
- 32:50time with And that's fine and I'm fine with that.
- 32:55I I said, I mean, I I do what I do here because it gives me an
- 32:59opportunity to externalize thoughts and talk about things
- 33:06that are on my mind and share ideas and maybe it Sparks
- 33:09conversation but well, the more and more I go on with, with my
- 33:18journey. It's there's, there's, there's
- 33:21so much out here in this in this great big world that I really
- 33:27don't like. And to talk about it and to
- 33:33bring it up and make awareness, it's I have to force myself to
- 33:35do it. And as I was mentioning earlier
- 33:38in the beginning of the podcast, you know, it's tough to force
- 33:41ourselves to get into the doing of things that that we don't
- 33:44want to do, but that are needing to be done, you know?
- 33:53I know how the conversation went off from from Odin ISM to this.
- 33:57But here we are, it's namesake of the podcast, right?
- 34:01Random, random ramblings, random Heathen rambling.
- 34:04So That's all I do, you know, you guys can call yourself
- 34:11whatever they whatever you want to call you, so you can call
- 34:13yourselves the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
- 34:17Valkyries of Odin for all I care.
- 34:23And you can make a church organization.
- 34:25You can be you know you can be your own go that you can sell
- 34:30for Dane you can do all that crap that what does it mean at
- 34:34the end of the day? Nothing.
- 34:38You know, people have see here, all here you go, the cell for
- 34:43danger the self-proclaimed Chieftain Oakley really Folk.
- 34:47Yeah, I got news for you. I'm not self-proclaimed anything
- 34:49that title was given to me by my tribe.
- 34:54My Tribe, trusts me for that and that's what matters to me.
- 34:57Is my tribe. I ain't gotta prove nothing to
- 35:00anybody else except for them and my family, and my worth is
- 35:04continuously, I'm continuously proving my work because that's
- 35:10how it's done. You know, you don't just prove
- 35:16your worth one day and then that's it.
- 35:18No more proving, no more worthy, you're done, you did everything
- 35:22you needed to do. No, it's a constant work in
- 35:26progress. It's always, you know, you are
- 35:29always proven, your worth your people if you are genuine about
- 35:35it, you know, never sit back, never relax and you know, this
- 35:41is, this is one of those things that You know, a lot, some
- 35:47people could argue and say that well you know you you're proving
- 35:52you're worth now because you you said you didn't want to do it
- 35:54but now you're doing it, that's something that means a lot.
- 35:57I mean, whatever I'm not here to put words in people's mouths and
- 36:00I'm not here to put thoughts in people's brains that aren't
- 36:04aren't ready to be there but um, it is what it is and we do what
- 36:11we do. So if you made it this far at
- 36:14the end of the podcast, I have no really reason to Ramble On
- 36:18further than thank you. Thank you for listening to me,
