- 0:17episode of the Christian Reef podcast.
- 0:19Today's guest is the founder of Arab media.
- 0:23His name is Armin, an alien, welcome to the show, has it
- 0:27going? Oh, sorry, I didn't quite catch
- 0:35that. Thank you for having me.
- 0:39No worries. Did I get your name right?
- 0:41I hope I got your name right. Yeah.
- 0:43Yeah, you got it right? All right, first time.
- 0:47Yeah. Let's just jump straight into
- 0:48this. So what exactly is your company
- 0:53about? What do you guys do?
- 0:55What are you trying to do or you try to treat achieve with RF
- 0:57media? Absolutely, we help clients.
- 1:00So grow their business with online advertising, at the end
- 1:03of the day, that's what we do. And we specialize in, you know,
- 1:07Facebook, Instagram ads mainly. And that's what we do, help the
- 1:12businesses grow, okay, okay, and so, according to my research,
- 1:17you ain't to educate your clients.
- 1:19Like, as you said on the benefits about online
- 1:21advertising. But what exactly.
- 1:24Can you teach us about it? Like, what are the benefits?
- 1:27Exactly. Absolutely.
- 1:30So, I just want to start the prefect about with a preface,
- 1:35which me like which is it used to be so expensive to advertise
- 1:40your business. Not everyone could do it like
- 1:42me. Let's go back 50 years.
- 1:44It was you got to pay for a billboard, you got to pay for a
- 1:46TV ad, you know. No one could, you know, spend
- 1:50five or ten, or a hundred dollars and you know, reach so
- 1:53many people and I think that's why now is the best time and,
- 1:59you know, trying to, you know, a lot of people just still to this
- 2:03day. They're doing well but they're
- 2:04working on referrals, you know, or all those type of stuff and,
- 2:07you know, online advertising is a wait for you too.
- 2:11As long as you do it profitably and you do it the right way to
- 2:14grow faster. And, you know, accomplish your
- 2:16business goals sooner, which channels do you think is the
- 2:20best ones to use these days? Because obviously, it varies
- 2:23according to Industry and Company and Such.
- 2:26But like, which ones do you tend to find the most effective?
- 2:29Absolutely. You know, we've all of our
- 2:32customers are mainly on Facebook but Facebook platform.
- 2:37Okay. You know, like this bill
- 2:40billions and billions of users using using Facebook and all its
- 2:46ecosystems, you know, like WhatsApp and Instagram and
- 2:49messenger and everything. So you know, that's what we use
- 2:52for clients. We also you know help with
- 2:56Google ads that, you know, but it's not our main thing.
- 2:58So, you know, like we have, if I tell you, like, we have very
- 3:02different clients on our agency, in our, they're all, they're all
- 3:06on Facebook, you know? So there are all using Facebook
- 3:09to grow their business. It's interesting, because while
- 3:12it is kind of available for everyone, and it's pretty easy,
- 3:16and it's obviously free to use and stuff.
- 3:18I do find that Facebook advertising is kind of, I mean,
- 3:23I don't know, in my experience is, not always very active.
- 3:28But can you talk to us a little bit more about the effectiveness
- 3:30rate of Facebook? Like what, what kind of things
- 3:33it can achieve for you? Or I don't know, like, maybe in
- 3:36terms of numbers like what some of the kind of success cases
- 3:40you've had with Facebook advertising?
- 3:43Yeah, absolutely. So you know, going with, you
- 3:47know, just at the end of the day it has to be profitable with
- 3:50you. So that's like you're not first
- 3:51question, you know, we got a structure it.
- 3:55So so you know, so So it's profitable for you soon.
- 4:00For some reason a lot of times we as humans would like to make
- 4:03stuff complicated, you know. And you know, we all we I got a
- 4:07book deal this funnel and then this email sequence and then
- 4:09this thing and then this other thing and now my funnel is not
- 4:12working or whatever. And you know, if you look at the
- 4:16biggest companies, a lot of times, they don't have a very
- 4:20complicated funnel, very complicated process.
- 4:23It's a very simple thing. Maybe they, you know, one of our
- 4:26biggest clients like we do. Get leads for them and they call
- 4:29the leads. You know, that's it?
- 4:31No fun. Oh, nothing involved.
- 4:32So a lot of times, you know, you got it, really take a look at
- 4:35your it's not the ads but it's the offer.
- 4:38So look at the offer and see how you can make it better, how you
- 4:43can make it more enticing you know maybe it's a total New View
- 4:47into, you know, your offer your service, by the way Christian
- 4:50Wood. Can we can dig into it like if
- 4:52you want to bring and we can do like a live consult, excessive
- 4:56you have wearing like Business or something.
- 4:58We can talk specifically whatever you want and then your
- 5:01second question was case studies, right.
- 5:04So case studies, we have many of them, you know basically one of
- 5:11the ones that comes on the top of my head is spending around
- 5:16eight thousand a month and then having you know, close to 55 to
- 5:2260 K in sales and then you know that is Is that, you know, in
- 5:29terms of margins, it was like you know after everything
- 5:32counted like everything was like 20 to 30 percent margin or stuff
- 5:36like that. That was one case study you know
- 5:40another client we just did a big promotional Campaign which all
- 5:45the other channels were also included but after three months
- 5:48we help generate 1.9 million in sales for them so different.
- 5:53You know, they're different different types of clients.
- 5:55You know, we have Consulting clients We help, you know them
- 5:59get coaching clients, right? And you know, we helped them get
- 6:03to I think it was like 7,000 a month in in, in coaching fees,
- 6:11you know, so different. This is different stuff like
- 6:14that, you know, those are some of the results.
- 6:17So for those who might not be so familiar with Facebook
- 6:20advertising, talk to us a little bit about like, your typical
- 6:24goals that are set for a standard campaign and And what
- 6:30people would use to measure the success rates of advertising
- 6:34campaigns on Facebook. Yeah absolutely.
- 6:38And you know going back going back to the basics if you can
- 6:43put $1 in and get $2 out. You know.
- 6:45That's that's the ideal and how can we make it happen for you?
- 6:49Like can bring it specific example but like yeah it like if
- 6:54you want to bring an example Christian we can go and do it
- 6:58but you need to take a look at you know where is the problem
- 7:03odd? Or you know like if something is
- 7:04not happening, you got to see where it is.
- 7:06A problem at like a car mechanic, is it?
- 7:09The ads is if the targeting is it the copy or let's that's all
- 7:16the ads thing or is it the landing page?
- 7:18The funnel. The offer something is not
- 7:21clicking there, you know. So you got to make sure that
- 7:24everything is everything is in line and working together.
- 7:31And, you know, a lot of times 11, cool tip that I can offer to
- 7:34people is go look at, you know, What is your biggest competitor
- 7:38doing? You know, maybe they're spending
- 7:39a hundred thousand a month, you know, 10,000 a month on ads.
- 7:42Take a look at what they're doing and that way, you don't
- 7:46have to reinvent the wheel, you can basically model their offer,
- 7:51make it better at cetera, et cetera and, you know, go with
- 7:55something that, you know, they've already spent a lot of
- 7:58money figuring out, you know, totals a little bit more about
- 8:02your company or if media like what kind of services.
- 8:05Do you guys provide? I'd and you know of seeing
- 8:08connection with online advertising, what are some of
- 8:12the ways that you've kind of help people to improve their
- 8:14businesses through online advertising?
- 8:18Yeah. So we mainly manage the ads for
- 8:23people. Okay.
- 8:23So, you know, someone, you know, happens a lot of times that, you
- 8:27know, the business owner, the CEO, you know, gets gets with
- 8:30the ads for a certain point. Maybe they get to 3,000 a month,
- 8:34you know, if fourth thousand a month but they Busy.
- 8:37And you know it's not like they're fully old day looking at
- 8:42the dashboard looking at improvements, looking at new
- 8:44policies looking at, you know, you updates, etc, etc.
- 8:47And in that you can really see when that happens because of
- 8:53course they're getting results. But so if someone is like all
- 8:56day only doing this, you know, they're going to get better
- 8:59results with the same amount of mine.
- 9:00So at some point, it starts to make more sense to, you know, to
- 9:04hire an agency and, you know, We'll go from there.
- 9:07So that's that's where we come in and we help them, you know,
- 9:12take over that role. They, you know, they can, we
- 9:15still we're selling weekly communication with clients, but
- 9:18we take over that role, they don't have to think about it
- 9:21that much. And, you know, we deliver
- 9:25release. We deliver clients etc, etc,
- 9:27working with her, you know? Working is very important that
- 9:34we, you know, we are doing advertising part.
- 9:36We're not doing like a funnel parts are asserted, we work with
- 9:38Partners, but that is something that we work with a client on,
- 9:41you know, we're not only hey, we do advertising screw you.
- 9:45If you don't have a good funnel, screw you know, we work with you
- 9:47to find, you know, find the right person to help you out
- 9:50with it or if you have a person to, you know, getting on the
- 9:54right direction, thanks to thank you for that.
- 10:00With regards to online, advertising in comparison with
- 10:04more traditional methods of advertising.
- 10:06I've realized as I've written this question as well.
- 10:08It's kind of funny because it doesn't really well.
- 10:13It's gonna, it's going to be pretty obvious your opinion on
- 10:16this, but I'll ask you all the same.
- 10:18Like, how do you think those two mediums compare?
- 10:20Do you think there's still kind of a case for using more
- 10:25traditional methods of advertising?
- 10:27Or do you think that online advertising is kind of just,
- 10:29that's, that's the way and that's what all people should
- 10:31do. You know, I think of like of
- 10:36course the guy that sells Billboards gonna tell you to use
- 10:39Bill, where's the guy that sells online ads is going to tell you
- 10:42to do online as but really really you know you see that
- 10:47reach for a hundred dollars that you spend you can see the reach
- 10:50okay. Yeah of people and you can
- 10:53directly measure okay you know I got three clicks or I got 10
- 10:56clicks I got 10 leaves you know a lot of times that there is a
- 11:00disconnect with You know like print media more or a, billboard
- 11:06etc etc. I was on a flight to Armenia,
- 11:11and we were watching the airlines Magazine and there were
- 11:14ads. Of course, these people paid a
- 11:16lot For Those ads and a lot of the ads didn't have any
- 11:19tracking. You know, there was no QR code,
- 11:22that was no website to go with just an ad and that's okay for
- 11:26Branding. But a lot of these brands are
- 11:28kind of new. So it's okay that your branding
- 11:31your you Just got started. It's okay.
- 11:33That your branding but what you want is sales because you just
- 11:36got started. So have you know having some
- 11:39tracking included is why is that the online is better.
- 11:44You know. But at the same time you know
- 11:47it's it's it's you know once you reach a certain point that it
- 11:53doesn't hurt to have all the Billboards in the city, you
- 11:56know, it doesn't hurt to, you know, have a TV commercial you
- 11:59know. So in a lot of times, you know,
- 12:02I heard Is from Jay Abraham, they are partnering up.
- 12:05You can partner up with radio stations and TV stations and
- 12:10revenue, share, you know, so you can be also creative, you know
- 12:16you know like abandoning traditional methods is still
- 12:19also a mistake. There is always creative voice,
- 12:21you know? Thank you for that.
- 12:24And that's a great kind of Point, okay?
- 12:26It does obviously depend on the medium, you're selling but the
- 12:29same point. Yeah, I mean, I think that it's
- 12:32true, it's very difficult necessarily to quantify those
- 12:36those older styles of advertising into numbers, you
- 12:39know, like how can you really tell how many people are
- 12:42actually paying attention to your billboard?
- 12:44Yeah, you can say, oh well, you know, on average 100,000 cars
- 12:47pass this particular motor way every day, but it's like you
- 12:51don't know for certain you. No, but yeah, thank you for
- 12:55that. So what tips could you give to
- 12:59beginners who are just kind of getting started in the online
- 13:03advertising space? That's all these.
- 13:08So first I just want to reiterate that point because I
- 13:12didn't do it at the beginning and I if I did it, I would save
- 13:14money. So you gotta see what other
- 13:18successful people are doing and try to model. .
- 13:24Like that's it. You know, that's a great start.
- 13:26It's No, building the wrong strategy.
- 13:33And a part. And I would, I would tell them
- 13:42to, you know, just stick to a method, learn it, you know, and
- 13:49you know, like like basically learned a man for the method and
- 13:55keep recording that method. And there's a lot of times
- 13:58conflicting information that I see, you know, know, but like
- 14:01you like if you went on YouTube and started listening to
- 14:03everyone, you, you know, there won't be a consistent strategy
- 14:09that you Deploy. That would be successful because
- 14:12there's so much different things that you're listening to.
- 14:14So just stick to one strategy, you know, there's a lot of
- 14:17Facebook ads strategies just stick to one you know learn one
- 14:22and you know and you know just spend money and and get better
- 14:27at it or no. Fair enough.
- 14:29Thank you for sharing. So tell us more about your B2B
- 14:37workshops that you do and what people can expect to get from
- 14:41them. Yeah, I mean, the the B2B
- 14:46workshops I think, I don't know. I don't know where you found
- 14:51that. That is something that might
- 14:54come future. That's not, that's not something
- 14:57we're offering right at this moment.
- 14:59But what what, okay, now I know and I don't know what you mean.
- 15:05So it's basically a part of were part of a network in where, you
- 15:12know, like we have different B2B businesses and and we show B2B
- 15:19businesses in one industry how to get more leads through all I
- 15:22advertised. So definitely feel free to, you
- 15:26know, reach out if you're interested but that's basically
- 15:30it, you know, like how can we eat the workshop is all about?
- 15:33How can you apply? B2B strategist in Facebook ads
- 15:38and how can you, you know, how can Get clients through that,
- 15:40you know, a lot of people, a lot of people, you know, pay for
- 15:45leads that, you know, maybe a service, get them leads but
- 15:49don't like even for u.s. stay get you leaving for me.
- 15:52Let that lead information. He that that platform has given
- 15:56it to a five or ten different other people and you know it's
- 16:00not really your lead you know maybe you can work with it but
- 16:03with Facebook ads or you know whatever type of it's your lie.
- 16:06You just got it for yourself and And you know, that's more
- 16:10valuable and probably has a higher conversion rate.
- 16:16Given the online advertising is becoming very annoying to the
- 16:20extent that you know, things such as ad, blockers ad
- 16:23blockers, now exist on browsers and such.
- 16:27How do you sort of navigate this and still reach customers in a
- 16:31meaningful way? And actually make conversions
- 16:33because you know, I mean, I find them all the time, particularly
- 16:37on YouTube now on tick-tock. Well, they're just everywhere.
- 16:41You can't avoid them. And I'll be honest, I'm not at a
- 16:43time when I see adverts, particularly, when I'm trying to
- 16:47watch a YouTube video. It makes me hate that product
- 16:50and that brand because they're getting in the way of the thing
- 16:53that I want to enjoy. So like given that you're you're
- 16:56selling online advertising and you're responsible for this.
- 17:00How do you, how do you navigate that?
- 17:01How do you still get rid of those people?
- 17:06Absolutely. So let me tell you first, Time
- 17:09the same like I I have my Instagram algorithm train so
- 17:14like I did like I'm not kidding you daily there's this feature
- 17:18in Instagram where you scroll and shows you an ad you can
- 17:23click on the three dots and say this is not relevant.
- 17:26This is inappropriate blah blah. So everyday myself, I do that
- 17:30like three times between three to five times.
- 17:33This is irrelevant, this is inappropriate.
- 17:35This is whatever because this like first of all I'm helping
- 17:39Very them Target stuff that I want to buy or I'm interested.
- 17:44I like I'm telling them it to weed out everything else and I'm
- 17:49particularly proud of it because like lately I've been buying
- 17:52more stuff that I really want or I'm interested in like what have
- 17:57the problem is YouTube? For example, it's wholly
- 18:02irrelevant like in might also experience that in.
- 18:05You can also still provide feedback to YouTube saying this
- 18:08at sucks but But you know, the way like the way I've seen it
- 18:13work like as a cut. I'm now talking customer the ads
- 18:16I've seen work are the you know the non-intrusive add.
- 18:21So one of the very interesting as that I was watching was a
- 18:26woman. Can't, you know, a woman
- 18:30peacefully talking in the ad. It's very rare and YouTube for
- 18:33you to see an ad of a woman, you know, peacefully talking and
- 18:36just explaining something and inviting people to a workshop.
- 18:40It's always about hey, if you give me, you know, ten seconds,
- 18:43I'm going to show you this amazing thing and they're
- 18:45shouting at your face, so that that contrast made me go to her
- 18:49side and register etcetera etcetera.
- 18:52So, you know, on the advertisers and, you know, you got to be
- 18:54different. You gotta, you know, break
- 18:56through the noise and And and you know, on the, you know and
- 19:02on the consumers and you know, you keep seeing the ad.
- 19:05It's probably working, you know, sadly.
- 19:08You know you keep seeing the ad and you know, these people keep
- 19:10doing it like month after month. After month is probably working.
- 19:14It's still annoying for you, but maybe you're not their target
- 19:17market, maybe maybe because it's annoying to you.
- 19:20You're not tired their target market but the people who
- 19:23actually you know believe in it and you know they're excited,
- 19:26you know. Are you know buying so I think
- 19:29those are all my thoughts there. Thanks Sharon, I appreciate it.
- 19:34What do you think? I want to ask you.
- 19:35So what do you think advertisers can do to make a better
- 19:44experience? Making, you know, break through
- 19:47the noise? What do you think?
- 19:49Hmm, I would do away with with the whole placing or you know,
- 19:58Actually. I would make ads a lot shorter.
- 20:04Much shorter. Like for instance on YouTube,
- 20:07sometimes even with an adblocker yeast, you can't avoid this.
- 20:13So you get like 23-minute adverts and it's like, okay look
- 20:17I can handle 15 seconds, 20 seconds, I might even be
- 20:22intrigued, there's been times, it doesn't happen often, but
- 20:24there's been times when I've been intrigued a little bit and
- 20:27I decide to, you know, continue on because you know, sometimes
- 20:30you get the option of like or you can skip off to 15, excuse
- 20:33me, a second. It's like a two-minute adverb.
- 20:37There should be more options there.
- 20:39They should be like, always the option to skip early on so that
- 20:45you give people the power people want, Power, people want
- 20:48control. They don't want to be forced
- 20:50stuff because the more you do that, the more people are
- 20:53inclined to just not use your website or your service.
- 20:56I mean, it's different with YouTube.
- 20:58Everyone still going to use YouTube but it just, I don't
- 21:01know. It like, for me, personally, it
- 21:02makes me angry when I'm forced to just you generally like sit
- 21:07and look at this novel. And that's the thing that I find
- 21:10myself that in there and just kind of mocking it, then I'm
- 21:13not. Okay?
- 21:13I'm going to sit here and watch this advert and I'll look at
- 21:16this, just trash at. They're trying to maybe that's
- 21:18such a great point. I think that's why, you know,
- 21:21we're way I think that's why Facebook and Instagram is a bit
- 21:23better Tick-Tock. Also you're not forced to
- 21:27frequency the. I just kind of scroll past it so
- 21:30that is so huge. Like, if we just take a second
- 21:32to like acknowledge that You said like me having to spend 15
- 21:38seconds? Waiting to just hear dumb stuff
- 21:41that I want to. I don't want to hear about that.
- 21:45At some point has to disappear because something someone is
- 21:48going to come up with something that's going to disrupt that for
- 21:51sure because it's already working on Instagram like we are
- 21:55not being interrupted and we get to choose, you know we click on
- 21:59stuff that we want to list see you know and that's it.
- 22:02We're not you know we're not Taking they're not taking 15
- 22:05seconds of Our Lives to show us something that we don't want,
- 22:08you know, so that's it. I think I think that is ready
- 22:14for disruption. I guess, you think that YouTube
- 22:16sense you know? Yeah, I agree.
- 22:19And I think yeah, you make a sound point.
- 22:21I think tick-tocking Instagram, do it very well?
- 22:23I mean, obviously the mediums demand, it just because it's
- 22:26short form content. I mean I weave Tick Tock, it's
- 22:29short clips. Anyway, so it wouldn't make
- 22:32sense to have longer adverts. That would just annoy Everyone
- 22:34said to the nth degree but even so I mean the the adverts aren't
- 22:38always necessarily a minute long and sometimes there are a lot
- 22:41shorter. But yeah.
- 22:42Like you said you can you can always skip them which I think
- 22:45is great. Always give the people the
- 22:46power. I mean, I find myself sometimes
- 22:48still watching the adverts anyway, just because I don't
- 22:51know, it's interesting in some way or sometimes it's just a
- 22:54good video. If you get content creators like
- 22:57there's there's a lot of companies now working with
- 22:59content creators, which I think is a fantastic idea.
- 23:02Yeah. I like because you don't always
- 23:03necessarily I realize straight away.
- 23:05That's it. Is even an ad because it's still
- 23:07content, and it's clever. And sometimes it makes you kind
- 23:11of truck on your are K. I see what they're doing but,
- 23:14you know, maybe I will check out that thing because I like this
- 23:16Creator. And I like this, the way they've
- 23:18done this and Instagram, I think is excellent, but in a different
- 23:21way because obviously, it's mostly still picture content and
- 23:27I can't count the amount of times that I've been scrolling.
- 23:29I see an ad for a page that I really like.
- 23:35You know, maybe it's a shop item or something like that and
- 23:38obviously it's still optional because you can just scroll past
- 23:41it and you can do the thing that you're talking about where you
- 23:44say, I don't want to see this but a lot of the time you just
- 23:46scroll past anyway because you can't be bothered.
- 23:49I just think that that optional nature in online advertising is
- 23:52always key. You know, it don't force people
- 23:55just give people the option and they'll probably be more
- 23:59receptive to your brand, to be honest.
- 24:01Correct. Correct represent.
- 24:04So this is quite interesting, you've worked for Frank, Kern
- 24:08and Grant Cardone. So, talk to us a little bit
- 24:11about what it's like working for them.
- 24:13And what you learned from that experience.
- 24:16Yeah. So You know, it's it was an
- 24:21amazing experience, you know, I used to just, you know, be a,
- 24:25you know, be a business owner, a small business owner just you
- 24:29know helping clients with websites and marketing and stuff
- 24:32like that and then all of a sudden you know thanks to or non
- 24:38viscous, you know, he was a he was and still is a genius
- 24:43marketer. He, you know, just Posted a
- 24:48story and I was like okay this is sounds interesting.
- 24:52He didn't say nothing about, you know Frank Kern Grand Cardinal
- 24:54but you he just said you know someone you know about Facebook
- 24:57ads or know your work you know like just apply.
- 25:00So I did that and you know, Well turns out if it was for these
- 25:04great people, you know, like it's, you know, here, you know,
- 25:09we're in Europe, Christian Christian, you and I we are in
- 25:14in Europe and that I'm going to say something like it's not like
- 25:19your average answer, but in Europe, we are less energetic
- 25:22for some reason and and when you and when you go to and like the
- 25:28face you're making, but we go to when you when we go to the US
- 25:31like I went to Florida Miami and I see that you know and I see
- 25:36that you know, 9 a.m. the energy, everyone is you know,
- 25:39clapping and you know we you know, we're gonna, you know,
- 25:43What day is today this Monday? You know, back up a second
- 25:47second second. Yeah, it's a good about that.
- 25:49Really just annoying thing where it's like, everyone's in the
- 25:52office at 9 a.m. I.
- 25:54Come on guys, let's have a great day.
- 25:56Let's own this day and like killed sales and everything.
- 25:59That's not, you know, not so it starts this way but it's kind of
- 26:03like that it starts with all the previously, they are all the day
- 26:07like all the winnings from previous day.
- 26:09So hey, we got this amount in sales.
- 26:11We got this amount of email. Then he went on and we talked
- 26:16about, you know, we talked about one quote from one book and
- 26:20everybody was reflecting and etcetera etcetera.
- 26:23You know, and like I don't know if that's it but but you know
- 26:27that that that was amazing, that energy.
- 26:30I don't see it anywhere in Spain.
- 26:32Like so I was like with eyes so open like that.
- 26:35That was amazing, that energy that hustle that ambition I
- 26:40think that was the biggest thing that, you know, that I The
- 26:46biggest things that I saw experience, and I learned from,
- 26:49you know, just keep surrounding yourself with those people.
- 26:51If you keep surrounding yourself with those people, you know,
- 26:53you're going to go far. That's number one, number two,
- 26:55was in terms of like specifically advertising and
- 26:57stuff like that, you know, I just saw the power of The
- 27:01personal brand for both Frank and Frank Kern and Brett and
- 27:05graig car. Do you know these people pretty
- 27:07much build me like 10 million dollar business like Frank is at
- 27:12least 10 million dollars and, you know, probably way more
- 27:15Grand is also a lot. And you know, they built all
- 27:19based on a personal brand like think of how you know of the
- 27:24internet again off the internet. Like it's not like TV ads.
- 27:28Oh I have this million dollars and I want and I'm gonna put it
- 27:30here and I'm going to become a TV star whatever no no out of
- 27:33the internet out of nothing, they just build from their
- 27:36personal brand. This huge you know this huge
- 27:39company is so if they can do it we can do it.
- 27:42Like specially asked that we were younger.
- 27:44We should do it faster technically although there is a
- 27:47lot of distractions on our time so that could in the rest but we
- 27:50technically could do that faster if we you know if we apply
- 27:54ourselves so you know those were the two biggest things that I
- 27:58took from it. Awesome, awesome.
- 28:03Yeah, just switching it up. So why are the best and worst
- 28:07things about Madrid? Spain, there you go.
- 28:13So I lived most of my life in in Madrid and now I'm in an outside
- 28:18of Barcelona living but apart Madrid, you know, best and worst
- 28:24things. I just love a lot of things so
- 28:29I'm going to be a very, very biased.
- 28:32Not say bad things. I don't like, I don't think
- 28:34about things, you know, I think, you know, I think that people
- 28:39are very cool, very, very inviting.
- 28:41I think that there is so much history in Madrid so much
- 28:47history. And then, you know, it's pretty
- 28:52Multicultural, you know, I like that a lot also.
- 28:57You know, you go from the center, you don't see, you know,
- 29:00you don't see, you know, what, now in copied you probably will
- 29:03see more Spanish people but if not, you would see like, people
- 29:07from all places, you know, in there, you know.
- 29:10And I think, I think, I think again, history, people culture
- 29:18and the food, like, I'm a Bigfoot Bigfoot fan food, like,
- 29:23I like, my top foods are all You know, you're based in Madrid
- 29:29Spain. Basically.
- 29:30Yeah. We born.
- 29:32You put in Spain as well or bonus.
- 29:34Well, I was born in Armenia. Oh, cool.
- 29:37When did you move over to Spain? Three years old.
- 29:41I'm actually now back in Armenia.
- 29:44Ah! All right, what's it like being
- 29:46the Ambassador? I presume you've sort of
- 29:48traveled back and forth a lot over the years.
- 29:50But no, no, no. This is his first time in 20
- 29:52years I've come oh my God, because my I was sick.
- 29:57I was wanted to visit him and but no, it's amazing, sting a
- 30:03bit longer. And, you know, of course, it's
- 30:06your Homeland, you know, when you're in your Homeland, you
- 30:09feel better, you know, I've been accustomed to be an immigrant,
- 30:13it's pretty fine. You know, I also feel like a
- 30:16Spanish citizen very well, but then your Homeland is a bit
- 30:21different and, you know, the everything is very cool here.
- 30:24So, yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
- 30:26Mean, I lived in this country in Europe, called Estonia for three
- 30:31years and it did at what point it did feel like home, you know,
- 30:36you were just as you say to the life and stuff, but you always
- 30:39are very cognizant of the fact that like, you're an immigrant
- 30:42that, it's not like, you're I mean.
- 30:44Well, with that, I think you're more reminded like people will
- 30:48remind you or things will remind you but generally you're like
- 30:53well this is my home and Pablo. All right, you don't you don't
- 30:56tend to Think about it consciously but I know it's you
- 30:59mean like I feel that there's a spiritual thing about being in
- 31:03your Homeland which you can only really understand that.
- 31:07Appreciate if you're talking to someone else, who's experienced
- 31:11the same thing. Like I didn't get it until I've
- 31:13lived away from my land and then I came back and because I never
- 31:17thought I'd get homesick. I never thought I'd miss the UK,
- 31:21but then I did and I was like, oh, this is interesting now.
- 31:25I kind of yeah now Now and I feel like there is there is
- 31:28something to be said for that but it's different for everyone.
- 31:31Some people you know they'll move away from their Homeland
- 31:34and never look back and I find that really really yeah and
- 31:37that's it. Yeah.
- 31:42Tell us a bit more about our yeah I think depends on the
- 31:45person but it's very interesting.
- 31:47So it's very interesting. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:49And tell it tell us a bit more about Armenia because I think
- 31:53you might actually be the first Armenian I've ever met.
- 31:55I'd love to learn no more. About your cat. of course, so
- 32:02you know, it's, you know, one of the oldest countries in the
- 32:05world, sort of, you know, this is This is your of on the
- 32:12capital has been inhabited continuously for 2,700 years.
- 32:18So imagine the same city people living for 2,700 years.
- 32:22You know, you know, kingdoms and kingdoms have passed, you know,
- 32:30you know, the Roma is the huge Mighty Roman Empire, you know,
- 32:34Armenians live with them before them after them somehow they've
- 32:38survived your own. Rome per se doesn't exist
- 32:40anymore. A lot of the kingdoms and big
- 32:44Empires don't exist somehow or Mania survived, you know?
- 32:48Just yeah, the history is amazing.
- 32:51The people the food like I would encourage.
- 32:54I really encourage people to just come mainly because it's
- 32:59cheap and I'm not proud of it being cheap.
- 33:03It's cheap. You guys can come.
- 33:04If you guys live in Europe or the u.s. etcetera, etcetera, you
- 33:08know, you're gonna have a blast with with not much money and
- 33:13you're going to eat well, and you're going to bunch of cool
- 33:16things. So definitely good place to be
- 33:20what some things maybe about Armenia, that might surprise,
- 33:23people that are already familiar with the country, anything that
- 33:27particular that sticks out and it's far as your culture and
- 33:30stuff like that or I think I would say the best way would be
- 33:36to just, you know, it's just the it's just I met someone
- 33:42yesterday who was from France. And his friend, she doesn't have
- 33:47anything to do with Armenia. You just come here and he came
- 33:51here once because of studies and he stated he staying, he keeps
- 33:55on, staying it just something in here that makes people stay.
- 34:00I don't know what it is. It's I guess it's magical but
- 34:03the best answer would be Christian to like I'm going to
- 34:08I'm doing some Vlogs etc etc and the best answer would be for
- 34:13them to take it. Take a look.
- 34:15Like you know, I'm not in the cool thing about it is I'm not,
- 34:19you know, you know like the typical hey go to London and
- 34:22yeah no no I don't care about that.
- 34:25I'm always like I'm recording places that are very little
- 34:27known. So there is one place in
- 34:29Armenia. I'm going to say.
- 34:30I think that's that's that's one of the coolest places.
- 34:33There's one place in Armenia. So on the mountains where you
- 34:37leave the car on a slope, the slope like this.
- 34:42And the car moves up the circu. Yeah.
- 34:48So you leave the car. I have a video.
- 34:50I have a video of it so nobody can contest it.
- 34:53The driver gets out of the car, and the car goes up.
- 34:57It doesn't go like this fast but he goes up.
- 35:00There is some magnetic presence there like this actually
- 35:04scientific stuff. But, you know, there's so many
- 35:08magical places like that in Armenia, and The check out, you
- 35:13know, the Future YouTube stuff and and come over.
- 35:17I really want to go now. Sounds great.
- 35:20Yeah. Absolutely, I'm so big.
- 35:23Thanks for telling us about that.
- 35:25Yeah. Outside.
- 35:26If outside of your work, what are your kind of major passions
- 35:29and interests in life? I think, you know, major page
- 35:35met major passions, I that's a great question, major passions.
- 35:43So, you know, that's a great question.
- 35:47I haven't thought of it much, but let me tell you what I'm
- 35:51doing. You know, a lot of times when
- 35:55something bad happens is, when you something in, you gets born
- 35:59something new for Me, you know Armenia was in a war like eight
- 36:08months ago, something like that. Oh wow.
- 36:10And you know really got me to you know, really got me to care
- 36:14and stuff like that. And that yeah I think I think
- 36:19one of my passions for the rest of my life, it's going to be
- 36:23bringing more attention to our being a bringing more
- 36:26investment. Or attention more investment and
- 36:31everything. Cuz, you know, we are very,
- 36:35we're very easily, we can eat very easily disappear like as a
- 36:38country. We are between two Turkish
- 36:41countries. Whose goal is to Combined
- 36:45together, turkey and Azerbaijan. And it was very easy, you know,
- 36:49we like three million people and there is a 100 million here and
- 36:54I think 30 million here so it's very easy for them to do this.
- 36:57So, you know, it's, I think it's one of my passions, just to make
- 37:01sure we preserve a unique culture and and that's it.
- 37:07I think that's definitely one of my passions.
- 37:09Another passion, less less passionate about this, but
- 37:12still, you know, I'm still young.
- 37:14I used to play a lot of retro games, so I'm still, I don't
- 37:18have much time right now. But, you know, maybe six months
- 37:22ago, I would You know, like game boy retro stuff or stuff like
- 37:27that because I really love it. So, that's a second passion yet.
- 37:31What are your favorite retro games to play?
- 37:35I think it's I think my favorites.
- 37:39It's Pokemon Silver. I love Pacific.
- 37:43Yeah yeah yeah that's so good Ahsoka.
- 37:47You have you played it? Yes.
- 37:49Your favorite retro. Hmm.
- 38:00See, I'm kind of caught between those two generations because I
- 38:03love the Pokemon Silver Crystal. I'd I'd say they're my favorite
- 38:07storyline tho eyes and like you get a lot of bang for your buck
- 38:10because you get to explore both Johto and Kanto which I always
- 38:13just blew my mind that you could do that even to this day.
- 38:17I still think that's amazing but then yeah, with the Next
- 38:19Generation obviously the graphics were so much better and
- 38:23the playability and all the things they added.
- 38:26This is Ruby and Sapphire, not talking about And then, of
- 38:30course, they did the, the revamps of fuck, you know,
- 38:33firered/leafgreen all those of the original games and added a
- 38:36bit of content. So I really dug that that and
- 38:39then after that, I kind of fell out of, you know, because it
- 38:42Pokemon just kind of got more and more and more and more
- 38:45complex, but those first kind of for Generations.
- 38:48I would say excellent just just for the Simplicity of it all and
- 38:53the replayability, even to this day, I found myself still
- 38:56playing and it's very addictive. Great.
- 38:59Tough. Yeah like just the think about
- 39:02the complexity you know, think about like like if you play
- 39:06through that everything, you understand the whole complexity,
- 39:09you you reach the game credits maybe after after doing the.
- 39:15I don't know how its said in English, like the league was
- 39:18early Pokemon League of Pokemon League or the elite foot.
- 39:22Yeah, they have yeah names for it than they.
- 39:24Yeah. When you when you win, Delhi for
- 39:26there you go. When you win the Elite Four.
- 39:29You know the you are you got the credits and after that you know,
- 39:33you see all the hours and hours and hours and hours and
- 39:39everything, put it there. It's like a it's like a, you
- 39:42know, nostalgic blocks. Almost like, I don't know.
- 39:45It's just amazing. Awesome.
- 39:48It makes me want to go back and play it now.
- 39:50I think I might be too. Okay, I love asking my guests.
- 39:57Okay, guys, so after this weird, Doing at which session please
- 40:00join us. We're going to play Pokemon
- 40:03Silver. And then all the other games,
- 40:07there was actually a point for a while where I was streaming
- 40:11exclusively, retro games for a while.
- 40:14It was a lot of fun. It was, it was well, one of
- 40:18these days, we got to set it up. We'll do like a random session
- 40:22and we'll maybe didn't in what you're after, but we can
- 40:26definitely do it. I'm up for it.
- 40:27Why not? Why not.
- 40:30I love asking my guests. This question and I'd love to
- 40:34get your thoughts. What is the biggest life lesson
- 40:37that you've learned so far? Hmm.
- 40:44What the biggest life lesson I've learned so far.
- 40:54I just I'm thinking of many. I'm thinking of many, but I'm
- 41:03thinking of many, I think. I think that probably like, Not
- 41:12dwelling on what other people. When you have an idea, when you
- 41:19want to be someone do something and you get criticism is them
- 41:25and push back and you cannot do the.
- 41:29Are you doing like how do you like, who are you to, you know,
- 41:33who are you to, to accomplish that?
- 41:38They don't number one. They don't see what you see.
- 41:42And number two, they're projecting there.
- 41:46You know, their fears into you it was odd.
- 41:49What I've seen so far in life is that Like you like as long as
- 41:55you like, as long as you make it happen like like nobody can tell
- 41:59you, basically, nobody can tell you you're going to make like if
- 42:03like people like what? Maybe even love you and want the
- 42:06best and try to protect you. But as long as you, you know, as
- 42:11long as you have a vision, you execute for forget about
- 42:14everything else, you know, like really forget about everything
- 42:17else, don't don't spend time. Like trying to prove like,
- 42:21trying to convince people. All trying to we're just, you
- 42:25know, get get to work prove them wrong as fast as possible like
- 42:30this so much energy that you need to spend convincing people
- 42:33and and look at me who I am, you know what?
- 42:36That doesn't matter. All that doesn't matter, just
- 42:38focus on getting to your goal as soon as possible to prove them
- 42:42wrong and then to shove it in their faces, that's it.
- 42:47It's for sharing as we draw things to a close for today.
- 42:51Do you have any upcoming projects or maybe some final
- 42:53thoughts that you'd like to share with our listeners?
- 42:57Yeah, I think you know, there is a I've seen I think this is a
- 43:03great lesson for everyone so I'm applying one of the lessons I
- 43:08mentioned. You know when was where was that
- 43:10when you ask, what was the things that you learn, you know,
- 43:12working for record on Frank Kern while the won't biggest one of
- 43:16the biggest was personal brand you know having a personal brand
- 43:20Christian has been endowed with a podcast.
- 43:23I'm doing it through, you know, also a, you know, different
- 43:25medium. It's all right, Sarah?
- 43:28But the ultimate answer to a lot of things like imagine how much
- 43:33easier. Like, I'm just going to tell
- 43:35people. Imagine how much easier it would
- 43:37be to get on a podcast with Joe Rogan.
- 43:43If you had a lot of influence, imagine how much easier it would
- 43:47be to solve all the problems. Like, let's say, you're
- 43:51passionate about environment, you're passionate about someone
- 43:55in your family. You know, imagine how much
- 43:58easier it would be, if you had influence, if you had, you know,
- 44:01a big following. So if you accomplish that, it's
- 44:05kind of like a life hack. I think you accomplished that
- 44:09for the right purposes. Not, hey, I just want to be
- 44:11famous period, you know, like, if you focus on something
- 44:15providing value, etc, etc. I think that it's a way for you
- 44:19to get further, faster to whatever you want to go.
- 44:22Doesn't matter. You want to be the best artist
- 44:24in the world, you want to be. By scoring toward having a
- 44:27personal brand is going to help you get and grow faster.
- 44:34What are you doing as can expect for me is, you know, more
- 44:38content, more cool stuff. I'll be opening a new program
- 44:45which is basically, you know, the more people subscribe, the
- 44:47more prices I get, you know, people get basically.
- 44:50So you know, you subscribe to, we could do the same, we can set
- 44:53something up for you Christian would give you you know, If you
- 44:58refer my newsletter to, you know, 10 people, you get a prize
- 45:03to 100 people, you get a bigger prize and cetera, et cetera.
- 45:06So yeah, that's a so. Feel free to sign up will put
- 45:10the link somewhere and that's it.
- 45:13Thank you very much for sharing and yeah, thank you very much
- 45:15for being on the podcast. It's been a pleasure.
- 45:19Super pleasure. I have a lot of fun to everyone
- 45:23listening to the Christian we've podcast.
- 45:25As always, if you're listening on YouTube, make sure to like,
