- 0:02Jasmine, oolong, green and white.
- 0:07Long ago, these four tees were skilfully brewed at the Blissful Brew.
- 0:11Then, everything changed when the shop's popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:17All Mr.
- 0:17Okoron, the shop's owner and teammaster, could do was to recruit four teenage orphans to learn his trade and staff his shop.
- 0:26A year has passed since the orphans were hired, and although their skills have progressed, they still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the Blissful Brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:41Welcome, traveler.
- 0:42It's good to see someone was able to brave the icy winds of the southern water region.
- 0:47What's that? Oh, yes, the legend of the witch.
- 0:51A fearful creature that stops loathham travellers in their tracks and freezes their blood.
- 0:56Much like the icy winds themselves.
- 0:59Well, only fearful if that's all you know of her.
- 1:03But what if I told you there was far more to the story than the haunting tale that you know well? Come and join me in my warm tent.
- 1:11There's a hot fire lit and ready to go.
- 1:14Oh, and I'm about to start a kettle of tea.
- 1:17While we wait, I can tell you the truth to the heroic tale.
- 1:21It all started long ago.
- 1:23Well, not that long ago.
- 1:34Mctook, come and see.
- 1:36You have a beautiful baby girl.
- 1:39Beautiful doesn't begin to describe her.
- 1:41Yenera, what name did you decide on? Mika.
- 1:46Her name will be Mika.
- 2:03Mica, get back.
- 2:05That wolverine mouse looks angry.
- 2:14Mika, are you okay? Yes, Daddy, I'm okay.
- 2:18What happened? Where did it go? I made the angry monster stop and go away.
- 2:23Honey, I think she I know.
- 2:29It seems she's inherited your gift.
- 2:31My curse? Honey, it's no.
- 2:36We must keep it hidden away.
- 2:37No one in the tribe can know about this.
- 2:40You know what they would do.
- 2:43Mama, did I do something wrong? It's okay, dear.
- 2:51But you must never do that again, okay? Promise? Yes, ma'am.
- 3:08Matt took these beast attacks are growing every year.
- 3:12We've lost one of our finest fishermen this month alone.
- 3:16And the other tribes have been reporting similar attacks.
- 3:20Camps are being ravaged.
- 3:23Children are going missing.
- 3:25I know, Chief.
- 3:28If we could only determine what's causing it.
- 3:31We all know exactly what's causing it.
- 3:34It's a spirit curse.
- 3:37Spirits are possessing the creatures of the land and attacking us.
- 3:41Please, Chief, these are nothing but legends and old wives tales.
- 3:46Mama, you say that, but they have no other explanation.
- 3:51The fish and gain populations remain consistent.
- 3:55There have been no changes in the climate and conditions that would lead to predators being without food or homes.
- 4:02There is no natural reason for them to attack us except that of supernatural cause.
- 4:09What else would you have me believe? Even if it was due to some spiritrelated upset, for what reason would the spirits be mad at us? We've made our regular offerings, celebrated their gifts and praised them during our festivals.
- 4:26Nothing has changed in how we show our appreciation for the spirits.
- 4:30We haven't harmed them in any way.
- 4:32And that only leaves one possibility.
- 4:35Someone in the tribe has made some sort of offense for you.
- 4:38Mama.
- 4:38Someone is harboring some sort of secret of dark descent mama.
- 4:42That has anchored the spirit toward our tribe.
- 4:44Mama.
- 4:45Chief.
- 4:46Mama, what are you suggesting? Perhaps there is a witch among us.
- 4:52Someone who has taken the power of the spirits into their own hand.
- 4:56Perhaps someone who has gone as far as to lock a spirit away in pursuit of such power.
- 5:00Yes, Mama.
- 5:01Tomorrow, I will be making an announcement of this before the rest of the tribe so all can be in lookout for whoever is causing this upset with the spirits.
- 5:11What will happen if this person is caught? You will have to commune with the spirits to decide.
- 5:19There's a good chance they will be put to death in order to appease them.
- 5:38They're blowing blue.
- 5:40As I expected.
- 5:42This Beast is possessed by a spirit.
- 5:44Be careful not to harm the Beast.
- 5:46You must find out what the spirit wants.
- 5:48Do not anchor it any further.
- 5:53Maxook, look out.
- 6:00What's going on? How is this possible? Is this some sort of spirit magic? Oh.
- 6:08Where are you been doing this? I can't hold this much longer.
- 6:15She's right.
- 6:16Throw your nets.
- 6:17We must hold the Beast until we can remove the spirit.
- 6:20Someone go and fetch the shaman.
- 6:22Maktuk, I want to speak with you in my tent when this is all done.
- 6:28Mactook, I'm sure you can guess what this is about.
- 6:32Yes.
- 6:33You and your family are good people.
- 6:36You've both contributed much to this tribe.
- 6:40But after tonight, I fear your wife's secret has now become an incredible danger for the tribe.
- 6:46I cannot allow you to stay here.
- 6:49Please, Chief.
- 6:51My daughter was born here.
- 6:52She's grown up in this tribe.
- 6:54Mactook, please.
- 6:57I only want the best for you and your family, especially for Mika.
- 7:01But it is not safe here for you.
- 7:05Whether or not your wife's secret is with, anger in the spirits is irrelevant now.
- 7:09The suspicions of others will only grow.
- 7:12I can't protect you or your family from what they might try.
- 7:17I'm sorry.
- 7:18That's why I'm giving you this chance now to pack your things and leave in the night.
- 7:24I fear that word will spread by morning, and it will be too late.
- 7:28I understand.
- 7:30We will depart immediately.
- 7:32Good.
- 7:33And, Maktuk? Yes? Be cautious of other tribes.
- 7:38They, too, will be on the lookout for a witch once the word spreads.
- 7:42Understood.
- 7:50Shaman, come quick.
- 7:52We've captured a Beast possessed by an angry spirit.
- 7:55An angry spirit, you say? Impressive that our men had the strength to take it down.
- 8:02How many did it take? Only one, sir.
- 8:06Only one.
- 8:07Pray tell which of our lustreous meat has managed to pull that off.
- 8:11So I can kiss his boots when I see him.
- 8:14Not a hymn, sir.
- 8:16It was Enrah maktuk's wife.
- 8:19How did she overcome the beast? Through some kind of witchcraft, sir.
- 8:24She stopped at dead in its tracks and began manipulating its movements.
- 8:28I see.
- 8:30This is exactly what I was afraid of.
- 8:33When I told the chief, the spirits were angry.
- 8:36It's obvious her witchery is an offense to the spirits.
- 8:40We must deal with this right away.
- 8:43What did you have in mind? Gather together whatever men of the tribe aren't holding down the captured beasts, and we will all go together to Mactook's hut.
- 8:53Tell them to be armed.
- 8:55This could be a tough fight.
- 8:57We must end this evil once and for all.
- 9:01Yes, sir.
- 9:08Micah mika.
- 9:10Wake up, sweetie.
- 9:12Mama, it's still dark out.
- 9:15I know, sweetie, but we need to go right away.
- 9:19Where are we going? On a special trip, dear.
- 9:23Now, quickly, pack up your clothes.
- 9:26Make sure to bring all of your warmest coats, okay? Okay, Mama.
- 9:33We should be able to make it to my brother's hut by morning.
- 9:36He will give us refuge for a few days.
- 9:38What then? I'm not sure.
- 9:40Once word gets out, no one in the Water Tribe will allow us to stay with them.
- 9:46This is all my fault.
- 9:48INERA, stop this.
- 9:50You did the right thing.
- 9:52You saved my life.
- 9:55For that, I'll always be grateful.
- 9:58It's not your fault.
- 9:59Others fear your gift.
- 10:02It's not a gift.
- 10:04It's a curse.
- 10:06It has brought angry spirits to our tribe, hurt people.
- 10:10All I've seen it do is save others.
- 10:14It is not to be hated.
- 10:17The abilities you have, no matter how others might view them, are yours to choose how they are used.
- 10:24And I know that you are good.
- 10:25And you use the gifts you've been given to show that you are good.
- 10:30If others cannot see that, then we will find those who will.
- 10:34What if no one in the Southern Water Tribe or even the Northern Water Tribe sees it that way? Then we will move to the Water Kingdom or even the Fire Nation.
- 10:47Oh, please, no.
- 10:49Those hotheads, they'd probably see me as a weapon and have me enlisted in the military.
- 10:57Fine.
- 10:58Then we will start a new tribe.
- 11:01We will live off the land, fend for ourselves, Grace Mika, to know how to be independent and free amongst nature.
- 11:11We could build a beautiful cabin and start a garden.
- 11:16I could grow more than just sea prunes.
- 11:19And I can hunt more than just no leopard caribou and tiger seals.
- 11:23Think of all that new jerky I could make.
- 11:27I've heard of a creature called a frog squirrel.
- 11:30Can you imagine what frog squirrel jerky might taste like? Different than snow rat, I would hope.
- 11:42Maktuk, we know you're inside.
- 11:45Bring up the witch or we'll break in there.
- 11:48Don't make this hard on everyone.
- 11:51I thought they were going to let us leave.
- 11:53The chief said he would allow us to leave tonight.
- 11:56I don't know why they're here.
- 11:57You have 10 seconds before we light the whole hut on fire.
- 12:01Get Mika and climb out the back window.
- 12:03I'll go talk to them and distract them while you two get away.
- 12:10Okay.
- 12:12Whoa.
- 12:14What seems to be the problem here? Don't play koi with us, Mactuk.
- 12:20We know about your wife's dark secrets.
- 12:23She is the one bringing about such anger in the spirits, leading to them attacking our tribe.
- 12:29I think you are mistaken.
- 12:31My wife is no witch, and my family has done nothing to anger the spirits.
- 12:36Oh? What do you know of the spirits? I am the shaman of this tribe, and I know that your wife's unnatural powers could only be granted by an evil spirit or through the trapping and exploiting of a spirit.
- 12:54I assure you that my wife holds no abilities that were in any way granted through evil practice by spirit.
- 13:02She was born with a unique gift.
- 13:05She's had it since she was conceived.
- 13:07There's no way the recent attacks have been caused by her.
- 13:12If you're so sure of yourself, then let's take your wife into town and commune with the spirit possessing the dog that was captured tonight.
- 13:21It will tell us exactly what has been angering it.
- 13:24Sure.
- 13:26I'll just go inside and get her and then we can all peacefully head back into town and solve this situation without any violence.
- 13:35Wait.
- 13:36She's right there.
- 13:37She's getting away.
- 13:38Stop her.
- 13:39Stop.
- 13:40Don't hurt her.
- 13:42Die, witch.
- 13:43Leave us alone.
- 13:48The witch shows her true colors, but her powers are limited.
- 13:53She can only control one of us with her evil influence.
- 13:57Quick, do something.
- 14:09Stop.
- 14:10What are you all doing? Stopping the witch before she can escape and leave us with the spirit curse.
- 14:16This is not the way of our tribe.
- 14:19We don't hunt each other down for crimes we haven't even determined between the elders.
- 14:24The witch was fleeing.
- 14:27She knows the law.
- 14:29A convict in question caught fleeing should be considered hostile and stopped at any cost.
- 14:36I told Mac Took to take his family and leave tonight.
- 14:39I see.
- 14:40Then maybe your title as chief should be in question as well.
- 14:45So be it.
- 14:47We can discuss with the elders in the morning.
- 14:50Leave Mactook and his family be.
- 14:52But the witch is still that is an order from your chief.
- 14:57Even the shaman cannot stand against my order.
- 15:00We shall see about that come tomorrow.
- 15:04Yenara Yanera, can you hear me? It's going to be okay.
- 15:08No.
- 15:09Took.
- 15:11I feel myself fading.
- 15:16No.
- 15:17You're going to be okay.
- 15:20The healers will fix you right up.
- 15:29We both know no one in the tribe will help us now.
- 15:33No.
- 15:35Someone will help matt her now.
- 15:41Get her away from this tribe.
- 15:43These people make sure she can grow up without knowing the sphere.
- 15:50I need you by myself to do that.
- 15:53Don't you give up on Mega sweetie.
- 16:03Yes, Mama.
- 16:05I love you more than anything in this world.
- 16:12The next sweetie.
- 16:15Never forget that, okay? Yes, Mama.
- 16:20Good girl.
- 16:29mama.
- 16:31Peeka.
- 16:32Come now.
- 16:33We must leave.
- 16:36What about Mama? Mama is resting, but we need to leave.
- 16:50hold it steady.
- 16:51Meeka.
- 16:52Inhale.
- 16:54Aim.
- 16:56Exhale.
- 16:59Release.
- 17:02I miss again.
- 17:03They always jump at the last second.
- 17:06It's okay, Mika.
- 17:08Frog squirrels are incredibly small targets.
- 17:11And they're tricky little buggers.
- 17:13You'll get it eventually.
- 17:15Look, there's another one now.
- 17:24Got it.
- 17:26Mika.
- 17:27What? Your ability comes from your mother.
- 17:31It's your gift that she gave to you.
- 17:34But there's a right way and a wrong way to use it.
- 17:39It's important that you determine what is and isn't the right way to use it.
- 17:47But know that using it the wrong way can lead to a lot of danger and pain for you and those around you.
- 17:56Your gift, although powerful, is also a dangerous one.
- 18:03I know.
- 18:03I know your mother was fearful of her gift.
- 18:07But she also always knew when it was right to use it.
- 18:13And she did a lot of good when she did.
- 18:16How is it wrong to use it to help us hunt? We need to eat, right? Yes, but we don't need to cheat to get it.
- 18:23We're here to develop our archery skills.
- 18:26And using your bending to cheat isn't fair to yourself or that poor frog squirrel.
- 18:33When we do things over and over, we develop habits that grow over time.
- 18:39That's why you practice with the bow.
- 18:42But if you use your bending to help you succeed at everything, then you're developing a habit of relying on it.
- 18:48Well, now it just sounds like you're saying I should never use my ability.
- 18:52I'm not saying that.
- 18:54I'm just saying that there's a time and place.
- 18:59You know who you sound like right now? You sound like mom.
- 19:02She was always scared of her bending.
- 19:04Maybe if she used it more, she wouldn't be dead.
- 19:09Let's head back home.
- 19:11I think we've had enough bow practice today.
- 19:15And we have the trip up the mountain tomorrow.
- 19:24Dad, we've been up here all day.
- 19:26Can we go home yet? We haven't gotten anything yet, Mika.
- 19:31If we go back, it's just going to be potato beet stew for the next week at least.
- 19:35Yuck.
- 19:36Mika right.
- 19:38There an arctic boar.
- 19:41Get your bow.
- 19:41I can taste it already.
- 19:43Maybe you ought to shoot it down.
- 19:45Are you sure? Could be good practice.
- 19:48I'd rather get this done with and go home.
- 19:50You're the better shot.
- 19:52All right.
- 19:56Crap.
- 19:56It's on the move.
- 19:58I can get it.
- 19:59It's going to get too far away.
- 20:01Here, I'll help.
- 20:08Hurry up and take a shot.
- 20:10Dad.
- 20:10Mika, this isn't the right way to release the beast.
- 20:15No, I've got it.
- 20:16Just shoot it and go home.
- 20:18Mika isn't the right way to do things.
- 20:22I don't care.
- 20:23Dad.
- 20:26What's that? Avalanche.
- 20:28Hurry, dad.
- 20:30Mika.
- 20:44All right.
- 20:45Mikayla.
- 20:46Playing meka.
- 20:48You have just awoken from being trapped amidst an avalanche that took you and your dad flailing off the mountainside.
- 20:58You're a little discombobulated, obviously, a little confused, a little lost as you kind of pull yourself out of the snow that's piled up around you, and you look around and you don't see your dad anywhere.
- 21:13Well, I guess I'm going to start my hands and knees.
- 21:18I'm going to kind of crawl through this snow.
- 21:20I'm pushing it and be shouting for my dad.
- 21:23Okay.
- 21:26And just kind of digging through the snow where I thought he was last.
- 21:29Sure, you do that.
- 21:31And no matter how hard you seem to dig, no matter how deep you manage to get or where you dig, you just cannot seem to find your father.
- 21:39And as you call out, you hear no response.
- 21:45You're wet, you're cold, it's starting to get dark, and you're starting to get kind of worried because obviously you can't find them and you don't really know where you are.
- 21:54Yeah, in my surroundings, are there trees and stuff? Where do they all get away? Yeah.
- 22:01So the mountain would be, like, kind of obviously not too far away from you.
- 22:06And then there's the slope of snow from where the avalanche came down, and then there's the mountain.
- 22:10And then behind you is where the forest kind of starts up.
- 22:14So you see a lot of, like, FIR trees, kind of bushes that don't have any leaves on them anymore, just kind of like scraggly bushes or whatever the case.
- 22:25I'm going to go towards the forest, and I'm going to take some of, like, a fur tree is like a Christmas tree.
- 22:34Yeah.
- 22:35Okay.
- 22:38So I'm going to see if I can maneuver any of those branches to kind of make some sort of a tent, a shelter, and then I'm going to find any loose things and start a fire before it gets too dark.
- 22:49Okay.
- 22:50So you start kind of pulling down some branches, and you find a few, like, dry ones laying around.
- 22:56And as you're doing this, you start to hear some sounds coming from not too far away from you, just a little ways into the forest.
- 23:07It kind of sounds like animal sounds, like there's a little bit of growling, and then there's a little bit of, like, a yipping sound.
- 23:13How far away do I think it is? Probably like, you know, maybe five trees, if that's the best way I can think of to describe distance in a forest five trees away from you.
- 23:25Maybe, like, just a little bit, just slightly too much shrubbery to be able to just see it from where you're at, so it's really not too far.
- 23:32Okay.
- 23:33I'm going to assume from the yipping that it's not necessarily dangerous.
- 23:41I'm going to try and quietly walk over there.
- 23:46Okay.
- 23:46I'm going to have, like, a ready stance of just in case I need to defend myself.
- 23:52I'm probably going to use my water bending.
- 23:55Okay.
- 23:56So I'm just going to walk over there quietly and just see if I can figure out what the noise is coming from.
- 24:01Exactly.
- 24:02When you say that you wanted to use your water bending as like a possible have it ready, do you do something specific to prepare that? No, because there's snow around me, so I'm just going to I don't know.
- 24:18Okay.
- 24:19So kind of like feeling out your water bending so that you can use the snow in some way, shape, or form.
- 24:26Yeah.
- 24:27All right.
- 24:27So as you kind of make your way towards it and again, sometimes the bridge that I get my brain into between this game and the way it works versus dungeon and dragon sometimes gets a little bit lost.
- 24:42But do it rely on your skills and training, which is going to be oh, focus.
- 24:47There we go.
- 24:49Just to see how successfully you're able to kind of sneak over there.
- 24:53Kind of makes it sound like a stealth check, but I got a four.
- 24:59Okay, so you think you're being pretty sneaky.
- 25:04Boy, you don't realize is that your heavy footprints in the snow are really crunching and such, and the noises get a little bit hushed for a moment as you peek over a bush.
- 25:16And what you find is a little fox dog pup, kind of a tiny little creature.
- 25:24And it's standing there.
- 25:26It's got one paw in the air as if it had been injured, and then nearby they're both looking at you, which is the downside of the failed stealth.
- 25:37But also over in that area is a polar leopard.
- 25:43So it's just kind of like kind of like a spotted snow leopard, if you can imagine that obviously much bigger than this fox dog pup.
- 25:53And it's also looking over at you.
- 25:56Neither is moving.
- 25:57They're kind of surprised to see any, especially a human just kind of walking up on them while they're obviously in some but you can tell that they're obviously in some sort of a fight or something.
- 26:09And that's the only thing I don't see, like the fox pups mom or anything.
- 26:17I am going to swirl some snow, kind of like a snowball and get it.
- 26:26I'm just going to keep it in my hands or whatever in case I need to throw it at this polar bear and for the eye.
- 26:35Oh, okay.
- 26:38And then I'm going to shout out it to see if I can get it go away.
- 26:43Oh, okay.
- 26:44Well, perfect.
- 26:45Let's have you do an intimidate thing, and that's going to be with passion and see if you can kind of spook it away from the situation.
- 26:59It's surprised by you, and it starts to kind of like walk over to the fox dog pup.
- 27:06So it's cautious of you.
- 27:09It's not going to attack you, but it's like, but I'm here for something and I'm going to accomplish that.
- 27:14And then I'm going to leave, and the fox dog pup seems to kind of, like, nervously try to he's backing away from this thing, but you can tell that he's not going to be able to handle this thing if it comes up and just tried to finish him off.
- 27:27I'm going to put myself in between the two.
- 27:29Okay.
- 27:30All right.
- 27:34What is it? A polar polar leopard.
- 27:37Leopard? Yes.
- 27:38Does it do anything differently as I'm putting myself in his path? So you put yourself in this path, and it starts to circle.
- 27:46Not like it's trying to get around you, but it's kind of like analyzing the situation, and then it starts to kind of pace back and forth in sort of like a half circle around you and the fox are okay.
- 28:02Well, he doesn't seem like he's attacking me either, so I'm going to throw the snow that I've been holding more at its feet.
- 28:12Okay.
- 28:13Just trying to see if I can scare it off that way.
- 28:17Okay.
- 28:18But after I throw, I'm going to get another one ready just in case it then runs at me or something.
- 28:24Okay.
- 28:25Let's say that we're jumping into the combat approaches, so if that's the case, I would call that probably a pressure.
- 28:38So you're pressuring it to stay away, not do something, basically.
- 28:44So that's going to be an advancing attack.
- 28:46It is going to do a defendant maneuver, and it's going to see the position.
- 28:55So it's going to rush towards you and try to kind of, like, go around you and grab the fox dog and try to just run off.
- 29:07It says that you can mark a fatigue to block it from doing if you want to as it rushes towards you.
- 29:16Okay.
- 29:17So you use a fatigue.
- 29:18You sort of, like, side step a little bit, really stomp into the ground, causing it to not manage to get around you.
- 29:28So it's blocked by your leg, and it kind of jumps back, and then you're going to use pressure.
- 29:33So that is going to be a role of passion.
- 29:41Eleven.
- 29:41Wow.
- 29:42Okay.
- 29:42Awesome.
- 29:43So you got a ten plus, which gives you a couple of extra options.
- 29:47So you can mark one fatigue to use a learn technique.
- 29:50You can use a practice technique, or you can use two basic or master techniques.
- 29:58You're already using one basic technique with the pressure, but you could do an additional technique as well.
- 30:04I think you would still use an advanced attack.
- 30:07So you could strike or you could smash.
- 30:12I guess you could kind of pressure it.
- 30:14Well, I have a fighting technique sweep the legs.
- 30:17Okay.
- 30:17Which is I attack where the enemy's weakest or most off balance.
- 30:22Okay.
- 30:31So that would be a practice technique.
- 30:32So you could just use that instead of pressuring it or whatever it is.
- 30:38Okay.
- 30:38So you said it sweeps the leg.
- 30:40Yeah.
- 30:40And then how does it work again? My tag, where the enemy is weakest or most off balance.
- 30:45If your foe has a total of three or more fatigue and conditions marked inflict to fatigue, if your foe has fewer than three total fatigue and conditions marked inflict to fatigue, but you must mark one fatigue as well.
- 30:59Okay.
- 30:59All right, sounds good.
- 31:02You fatigue, so it's going to mark two fatigue.
- 31:05So it kind of like slides when it tries to jump around you or whatever.
- 31:09And then you block it so it kind of hits the brakes real sharp and it's in snow, so it kind of like slides through the snow and then you kind of like do a kick at it as it's coming by, like back off.
- 31:19It hits it.
- 31:20It kind of knocks him back because he was already off balance since he was sliding anyways.
- 31:24Kind of rolls over and at this point it is decided to give up.
- 31:29It hurts.
- 31:31Unlike a person, it doesn't have as many hit points or like a large animal.
- 31:35It is a larger animal than the box dog, but it's not huge.
- 31:42Exactly.
- 31:43So it runs off after this, obviously to go look at his wounds and you know, maybe think about his decisions.
- 31:53So that leaves you there with the fox dog pup, which kind of like kind of cuddles up against your foot because it realizes that you just stopped something from hurting it.
- 32:07I'm going to kneel down and I'm going to stroke it.
- 32:10Okay.
- 32:11And as long as it reacts, I'm going to pick it up.
- 32:13Okay.
- 32:14Being mindful of the hurt lake.
- 32:17Yeah.
- 32:17And then I'm going to carry it back to the camp that I set up.
- 32:20Okay.
- 32:21As you go, you notice it lets you pick it up.
- 32:26It's a little, you know, skittish for a moment and then you pet it for a little bit and it seems a lot more friendly.
- 32:32And then you pick it up and sure enough it allows you.
- 32:35And as you're walking away, you notice some red in the snow kind of poking out from behind a bush kind of an area.
- 32:46There's like a bush growing directly underneath a tree.
- 32:49I guess I'm going to go over there and look.
- 32:52The fox pub doesn't have any blood on it, so it's not from it looks like it has like a cut on that foot that got injured that you could kind of tell.
- 33:02Yeah, but nothing that's like he's bleeding out or anything like that.
- 33:05OK, I'm going to cautiously walk over there and see.
- 33:11The fox dog pup seems a little distraught as you approach that area.
- 33:15It seems a little like not necessarily scared, but just upset.
- 33:20And sure enough, as you peek over there, you can see that it's presumably mom and then maybe a couple other pups are dead.
- 33:30That's depressing.
- 33:31Yeah, it's pretty sad.
- 33:34Okay, then for sure I take it back to the camp.
- 33:40Do I have like a backpack with me or anything since I was hunting? Yes.
- 33:46I'd say that it probably stayed on your back even during the avalanche.
- 33:50So you have maybe a handful of small tools or something maybe in there.
- 33:55Do I have any extra pieces of fabric? Sure.
- 33:59Okay.
- 34:04So I have the ability to refresh which means I can close wounds on a target.
- 34:11Sure.
- 34:12So I would like to try and do that.
- 34:17Obviously I'm not a master so if it doesn't completely heal it then I'll still bandage whatever is left over but okay.
- 34:25Does it require like a role? It says mark of fatigue to heal an ally in reach who is invading, observing the clear appropriate status from them and clears three fatigue or two conditions.
- 34:36Okay.
- 34:37So yeah, basically you would just mark a fatigue and you're able to use your sort of water bending powers.
- 34:43You pull some of the snow and kind of filter it in a sense and then make it clean and then use it to heal the fox dog pups.
- 34:52So now his foot is all better.
- 34:55It's able to walk again.
- 34:56It's very surprised.
- 34:58It's obviously very grateful as it kind of like barks a little bit as it kind of hops around or whatever and you spend some time getting the rest of this little campsite that you've developed finished and you set up a fire to keep yourself warm.
- 35:14It helps kind of dry you back up and things like that.
- 35:16You probably even have like maybe a spare set of clothes or even just like not the warmest clothes but something so that you can change out, dry the other ones over the fire and then maybe get some rest or whatever the case.
- 35:32Okay, I'm going to do that and then I'm just going to look at the fox pup and say you're more than welcome to find a spot to sleep here.
- 35:49I'm just trying to be friendly with it.
- 35:51Yeah.
- 35:51And then I'm going to lay inside the makeshift tent and then I'm going to go to sleep.
- 35:59My intentions are probably to try in the morning to look more for my dad or just stayed close by.
- 36:07Yeah, that makes sense.
- 36:08Just in case he comes looking for me or whatever.
- 36:11Okay, sounds good.
- 36:13You wake up the next morning, the sun is starting to like peak up over the mountain.
- 36:19You know, the rays coming down, the birds are starting to chirp and stuff like that.
- 36:23And you wake up a little disappointed because no dad, he's not there.
- 36:30You take a peek outside of the tent, he's not there.
- 36:34The fire obviously is burnt out.
- 36:35You can kind of still smell a little bit of that old bonfire smell and what you are a little bit surprised to find in a positive light is the dog stayed with you pretty much like the whole time when you wake up.
- 36:53Obviously he wakes up and kind of follows you out, sniffs around a little bit.
- 36:58Doesn't seem to be bothered by anything necessarily.
- 37:00So.
- 37:01All things considered, even though your dad's not there, it's a new day, so take that as you will.
- 37:09I am going to walk back to the area where I thought I lost my dad and just kind of survey the area and see if I can find, like, if he dropped his pack somewhere or anything poking through the snow, I'm assuming.
- 37:28I probably lost my bow.
- 37:30Yeah.
- 37:31So I'm going to see if that's poking on the snow anywhere.
- 37:34Sure.
- 37:36I'm going to say do assess the situation as you look around.
- 37:43So that's going to be with creativity.
- 37:49Eight.
- 37:50Okay.
- 37:51Awesome.
- 37:51So you can ask one of the following questions.
- 37:54There's, what here can I use to blank? Who or what is the biggest threat? What should I be on the lookout for? What's my best way out in or through or who or what is in the greatest danger? I would also say maybe, what should I be on the lookout for? You could interpret that as, do I see anything that might allude to your stuff? Yeah.
- 38:20Okay.
- 38:22So I'm going to ask that question.
- 38:23So you look around and you don't notice any footprints and you don't notice anything from your dad, but you do find your bow sticking out, and although you don't have any arrows, the string is snapped.
- 38:42But I would say probably know how to repair something like that, but you don't find the arrows.
- 38:50And yeah, you don't really see any signs of your dad, but you almost wonder if because the avalanche was so big, it's possible that he might have been pushed down the mountain further away or something along those lines.
- 39:05Probably your biggest fear might be that he wasn't even pushed all the way down the mountains.
- 39:10Maybe he got stuck up in the mountain or something along those lines.
- 39:17That's always a possibility as well.
- 39:22I'm just going to grab the bow.
- 39:24Okay.
- 39:25And I think I'm going to go down the mountain in the direction of the snow because I'm just going to have the more positive thought or the more hopeful thought, I guess, of maybe he got swept further down.
- 39:43Okay.
- 39:43And then I went turn to the fox pup and say, I'm heading this way.
- 39:50We look for something to eat.
- 39:52You can come with.
- 39:53It's my only friend at this point.
- 39:54Well, he seems happy to come along and follow as you go.
- 39:59So as you head along, strangely enough, you actually start to smell something that smells like cooked food.
- 40:08Oh, that's exciting.
- 40:10Yeah.
- 40:10Or like kind of just a warm smell, which is strange given that it's super cold.
- 40:16Right.
- 40:20And the dog obviously notices that too, and kind of starts to, like, mosey that direction.
- 40:24I'm going to probably get a little bit excited, probably hurriedly follow this in hopes that it's my dad setting up camps.
- 40:36Sure.
- 40:37Yeah, that makes sense.
- 40:38So you quickly follow after it.
- 40:41The fox dog pup picks up that you kind of have this excitement about you and stuff like that.
- 40:46So it's like excitedly following along as you two are running through the snow, pushing through the brush and the bushes and the shrubbery, and sort of stumble upon this little campsite.
- 40:59Unfortunately, to you, it's not your dad, but a smiling face does greet you as you find a large pot over an open fire and then a second fire with some pans and such across it.
- 41:16And standing there, although you don't know him, currently, is Mr.
- 41:19Ocaron, and he is very surprised when you come bursting out of the bushes.
- 41:27He's holding a shoot, I can't even think of the word a ladle.
- 41:32He's holding a ladle like as if he had to defend himself from a wild animal that's about to burst through the forest.
- 41:38And then he sees that it's you, and he goes, Whoa.
- 41:42Hello there.
- 41:46My expression is going to go from quickly from excitement to kind of like dumbfound me that he's holding a ladle against me.
- 41:55Sure, it just seems silly to me, just whatever.
- 42:00He quickly puts it down.
- 42:02Sorry.
- 42:03Scary.
- 42:05I'm going to say hi.
- 42:07Have you seen an older man walking through? He may have been covering snow, maybe injured.
- 42:18Well, I'm doing all right, and I think I got all the snow off this morning, but sorry, you probably mean somebody else.
- 42:25Yeah, no, it's just me and the friendly trio of hunters that I'm traveling with here.
- 42:34And as he's saying that, three people kind of poke their heads up.
- 42:39They weren't like one of them might have been in a tent, but they didn't look like they were sleeping.
- 42:42Like, oh, I just woke up.
- 42:44They look like they might have been, like, prepping something.
- 42:46They were just getting their packs ready.
- 42:49One of them, he pokes up.
- 42:51He's obviously, like, taking his tent down.
- 42:54So he was just behind his tent.
- 42:55They all look a little bit confused, especially once they see you and they see, like, oh, there's a teenage girl just, like, walked into our camp with a little fox dog pup.
- 43:06Like, what in the world? They all look very surprised.
- 43:10Okay.
- 43:15My stance is probably going to be a little bit more tense just because there's a lot more people and I'm not sure I mean, they don't seem to be harmful, but I'm just going to be a little bit worried just because people kind of suck sometimes.
- 43:29Okay, well, you don't know they're strangers, so that's totally fair.
- 43:33The three other men, they kind of come over to the center of the group, and Mr.
- 43:39Oakland's like, oh, well, my name is Mr.
- 43:42Ocaran.
- 43:43That's what they call me.
- 43:47What's your name? My name is Mika.
- 43:52Mika, OK.
- 43:53Great to meet you.
- 43:54Are you okay? There was the avalanche last night, and you said you were looking for someone.
- 44:02Is everything all right? I don't think there's any settlements anywhere near here.
- 44:06It's kind of a surprise to see somebody.
- 44:10Yeah, I was just out hunting with my dad and we got separated in avalanche.
- 44:18And then I turned to the other three people and I'm going to ask him the same question of, hey, have you seen a tall man or may not be injured? Whatever.
- 44:33One of them just kind of grunts and he shakes his head as if he hasn't seen anybody.
- 44:39One of them says, well, if anyone's seen anything that suggests somebody else is out here, it's going to be Corey.
- 44:52Sorry.
- 44:53I should be describing these people as I go.
- 44:55The first one that kind of just grunted and shook his head is this big, chunky, not really burly at all.
- 45:01He's just a very large man.
- 45:04Kind of imagine like in Avatar Last Airbender when they did the Earth Rumble Stadium and you had hippo.
- 45:12He kind of looks like that guy where he's just this big chunky dude.
- 45:18And then the other guy who's now responding and saying something about a guy named Corey, he is kind of a short, stout kind of a guy.
- 45:29Lots of facial hair going on.
- 45:31I kind of imagine Zhao from Mulan.
- 45:37And then Cory is kind of a scrawnylooking disheveled, a little bit crooked, maybe a bit older even.
- 45:50His hair is starting to gray.
- 45:51It's kind of like a speckled mix of gray and black.
- 45:55And he comes forward and he says, yeah, if there was somebody out here, we would have seen the tracks, but we can take a look around.
- 46:07Thanks.
- 46:07I would really appreciate that.
- 46:11The main guy says, My name is Zinzu.
- 46:15This year is this big guy right here.
- 46:17Point like bounces off his stomach as he kind of passed at him.
- 46:23This is Boku.
- 46:25And Boku just says grunts in greeting.
- 46:43Yeah.
- 46:46The three of them look at each other and Mr.
- 46:48Okrah just kind of like stands there a little awkwardly like, well, what does that mean? Is there animals or something? And Corey looks over and he says, there's much worse than animals out in these woods at night.
- 47:03And Oakran was like, well, really, I was out in these woods last night.
- 47:06They were like, well, you are in the camp.
- 47:08It's safe in the camp.
- 47:10And then Zenzi says, some say that there's a witch in these woods that lives here.
- 47:19She's got some kind of dark magic.
- 47:23And like I said, she lives out here.
- 47:26She takes those that step into her.
- 47:31That's the word I'm looking for, territory.
- 47:36And Mr.
- 47:36Oakland's like oh, which that sounds very spooky.
- 47:41I'm glad that I found you guys and was able to stay in this little campsite.
- 47:46And then Cory says, well, I mean, if it wasn't for that nice tea that you made us last night, we might not let you stay.
- 47:53And he said, oh, well, you guys stop, right? What makes a person which well, you see she's got some creepy powers.
- 48:05She can control people with her mind at that.
- 48:11I'm going to get really tense.
- 48:13Sure.
- 48:15And I'm going to ask, where can I find this witch? Well, if we knew where she was, we would stay borrowing.
- 48:27All I know is that she lives out in these woods somewhere.
- 48:31People back in various settlements.
- 48:33We're traveling hunters and trappers, so we don't stay much in one place.
- 48:39But all the Water Tribe settlements around here all talk about it.
- 48:44They say she was cursed by some spirits and now she has these freaky powers.
- 48:53Mr.
- 48:53Ogren says, Well, Mika, whatever the case, I'm sure you're welcome to hang out with us until we can hopefully find your mom or sorry, find your dad, who I'm sure is safe.
- 49:07Maybe he got lost or whatever the case, and we'll help you find him again.
- 49:13Corey is a master tracker.
- 49:15Yeah, I'm a master tracker.
- 49:17Not that I couldn't track a man, but we're out here hunting and this is a real inconvenience.
- 49:23And Mr.
- 49:24O'Brien says, well, we can continue your hunt on your way towards the Earth Kingdom as we had discussed.
- 49:31And if we see any signs of her father's tracks or any other things that we could use to go off of, then we can investigate.
- 49:43Yeah, if you just give me some supplies to fix my bow, I can possibly even help you shoot some stuff you're hunting for.
- 49:54Oh.
- 49:54So it's beneficial.
- 49:56And Zenzu kind of comes over and offers to take the bow and take a look at it to him.
- 50:06Let me see here.
- 50:07Good suspension.
- 50:11He, like, pulls.
- 50:12He takes a new string out of his back pocket.
- 50:16And you can tell based on some of the stuff that he's got in his bag, that he is a man of means when it comes to weapons.
- 50:25Traps.
- 50:26He's got traps hanging off of his stuff.
- 50:28He's got a handful of different, like, bows, cross bows, and a couple other things.
- 50:32You can tell this guy is very much like a weapons guy, so he's definitely the right person to have around.
- 50:38He restrings your bow real nice and he hands it back to you and he says, yeah, that ought to take care of it.
- 50:47Wow, thanks.
- 50:47This looks pretty good.
- 50:49Yeah.
- 50:57No.
- 50:57I could use those, too.
- 51:06You got anything to trade? I look in my bag, seeing if there's anything.
- 51:12Okay, now I have to come up with what that is.
- 51:19You have some leftover jerky of some type.
- 51:26You have some various tools, like basic stuff.
- 51:32Like there's probably, like a pocket knife.
- 51:35There might even be a flaying knife.
- 51:40There's some frog, squirrel, pelts.
- 51:46I'm going to hand him one.
- 51:48Frog, squirrel pelt.
- 51:51He looks at it for a second and then he reads in his bag and he hands you one arrow.
- 51:58Come on, this is worth more than that.
- 52:00It's all fraud.
- 52:02What am I supposed to make with this.
- 52:04You can make, like, an earmuff.
- 52:07I could make one ear muff.
- 52:09That's the problem.
- 52:10You could cut it in half and just have cover the tips of your ears.
- 52:14That's the most important part.
- 52:15Little hats for your ears.
- 52:17You could be making a new fashion trend.
- 52:26I don't know if I should do well.
- 52:27It's not really a trick.
- 52:28I don't know if it's a push your luck, I guess.
- 52:30Yeah, you could try.
- 52:31You could push just for the whole general concept of trying to get more arrows out of them.
- 52:36You could push your luck, and that's passion.
- 52:43I got a nine.
- 52:44Nine.
- 52:45Okay.
- 52:45He goes okay, here you go.
- 52:49And he gives you a second arrow.
- 52:52Gee, thanks.
- 52:55I tell you what.
- 52:57Everything you shoot animal wise while we're out there, I'll give you five more.
- 53:02Okay, deal.
- 53:04You got two to start with.
- 53:06You have proved that you could actually help us out.
- 53:09Yeah, I can do that.
- 53:10All right.
- 53:11So over the next maybe ten minutes, 15 minutes, they are able to pack up their stuff.
- 53:18Mr.
- 53:19Ocaron serves some food.
- 53:20Eating takes maybe another 1015 minutes.
- 53:23So about half an hour later, you guys are on your way.
- 53:26And Mr.
- 53:29Ograd's got this giant pot that he carries, like, a turtle on his back.
- 53:34That's what he makes the tea in, and he's got, like, some various pans and stuff hanging off of him.
- 53:39I mean, the dude is carrying a lot for being kind of an older, slightly chunkier dude or whatever the case.
- 53:45Right.
- 53:46Where do you choose to kind of walk? Within their little grouping? Because for the most part, they walk in, like, a line.
- 53:56With Corey kind of leading the group.
- 54:00Zen Zoo kind of right behind him, asking him questions the whole time.
- 54:06Every time he looks at something or something, he's like, do notice anything? And then if he says he does, zenzu will shuffle around in his bag and get a weapon that he believes or trap that he believes will be beneficial against what Cory thinks that he sees.
- 54:20Boku stands kind of near the back.
- 54:23Mr.
- 54:24Oak run stands over there with Boku.
- 54:26Boku carries the majority of the stuff.
- 54:29He's the one that grunts a lot.
- 54:30Yeah, he's the big chunky guy.
- 54:34So he's got most of Zinzu and Cory's stuff that he's, like, hauling that's not like, something they would immediately need, like a weapon or something like that.
- 54:43Okay, I'm going to walk probably in between okuron.
- 54:50And what is his name? Boku.
- 54:54But probably a little bit closer to Boku, just cause he doesn't seem like he talks, and I'm not in a talking.
- 55:01Okay, sounds good.
- 55:02So you walk behind Boku, and your fox dog is falling behind as well.
- 55:09And he just kind of looks down and he says dog, and then, like, looks forward.
- 55:16And then if the dog makes any noise, he just looks at it.
- 55:18He goes, Doggo say dog stuff and then kind of ignores it for the most part.
- 55:27He kind of seems to like the dog a little bit when they're not moving, if they ever stop for whatever, he like, reaches down.
- 55:34He doesn't like pet him.
- 55:35He just lets him smell his fingers or something and goes.
- 55:46Mr.
- 55:47Ocaron.
- 55:48He engages in conversation with you for the most part as you guys are walking or whatever the case, asking about like, where are you from, Mika? Are you from one of the tribes around here? Yeah, I'm from one of the tribes.
- 56:05Oh, okay.
- 56:05Which one? Maybe it's one that I've visited.
- 56:09Probably not.
- 56:10It's just some small rinky tribe.
- 56:14Oh, okay.
- 56:14It doesn't have a whole lot to offer, but why are you on ascending an expedition? Oh, well, it was actually entirely by accident.
- 56:22I was just traveling alone.
- 56:24I had just left one of the smaller subtribes known as the Woka Oak, and I had been picking up some fancy berries, which are known as peach juniper berries, which I am super excited to put into one of my teas once I get back to Galing and I get to the shop and everything like that.
- 56:46So I'm just out here to get some ingredients and I happen to stumble across this group of nice hunter men here who graciously allowed me to stay in exchange for making them some tea last night.
- 56:59Interesting.
- 57:00Yeah.
- 57:02What do you think of this big guy in the back? Oh, Boku? Oh, he's big and he's scary looking, but all in all he's a nice guy.
- 57:12And Boku said he like turned it on.
- 57:14He says, he says, see what I mean? He's kind of scary and intimidating, but all in all he's a nice guy.
- 57:24Off topic, but this Boku guy sounds like the guy off of the Goonies.
- 57:30Yeah, there you go.
- 57:35That's a pretty solid comparison, I'd say.
- 57:39As you guys are talking, all of a sudden Cory's and everybody like stops and freezes and he points over and you can see you guys see a polar leopard making it way kind of across some outcropping rocks.
- 57:58Does it look familiar? As familiar as wild animal could, I suppose.
- 58:08It doesn't seem to have spotted you guys yet, but the fox dog pup immediately hides kind of behind your leg.
- 58:18It definitely seems it's seen it and it's scared.
- 58:23And Cory leans over to Zenzu and he whispers something and Zenzu and so he kind of like encroaches back and he says to you, he says, you want to take the first shot? Jeez, you bet, I got it.
- 58:44Alright, so I'm going to have you do rely on your skill and training.
- 58:47See if you can snipe this snow leopard or sorry, this polar leopard.
- 58:57Focus.
- 58:58Yes.
- 59:00I don't have any added focus.
- 59:02She doesn't have any focus.
- 59:06I got a twelve right into its neck.
- 59:12It makes no sound.
- 59:13It dies instantly.
- 59:15And Zinzu looks at you, he's got his eyes all wise, he's like, oh, okay, fair enough.
- 59:24And he hands you five more arrows and Corey kind of like tips his head to you a little bit from the back and Boku just looks down at you and he says, God, dude.
- 59:39And Mr.
- 59:40Okuron, he kind of like comes up beside you.
- 59:42While he's doing that, Cory and Zen zoo are kind of like heading over to the animal to like collect it or whatever the case, and he says, wow, that was quite a shock.
- 59:52Me gone.
- 59:52Very impressed.
- 59:54Thank you.
- 59:55My dad taught me a lot.
- 59:57Well, he sounds like he's a very wise and very skilled man.
- 1:00:02I hope I get to meet him.
- 1:00:03I hope we're able to find him as we go along.
- 1:00:06Yeah, I have faith I will find him.
- 1:00:09Alright, so you guys continue on for the rest of the day and you don't find anything else.
- 1:00:18Unfortunately.
- 1:00:19No tracks for animals, no tracks for missing Water tribe men.
- 1:00:25And so they start to set up the camp for the night.
- 1:00:30Mr.
- 1:00:30Okran offers you his backup tent, which is a much smaller tent.
- 1:00:35He mostly uses it if he has to store ingredients if there were like rain or whatever the case.
- 1:00:40But since there's no inclement weather or anything like that, he's happy to let you use it if you're comfortable with that.
- 1:00:48Yeah, I'll take it.
- 1:00:49Okay, sounds good.
- 1:00:55That night they all sit around the fire and they've got food that Mr.
- 1:01:00O'Hara made or whatever the case.
- 1:01:02They cook up the polar leopard taste pretty, pretty good.
- 1:01:08Good.
- 1:01:10As somebody that doesn't do a lot of hunting or eat a lot of wild game, I can't really describe it because I don't know a lot of that world.
- 1:01:18I mean, it's probably gamer than your typical store bought.
- 1:01:23Not that Mika would obviously know that because that's all they would eat, but anyways, it's good.
- 1:01:29They seem to know what they're doing and Mr.
- 1:01:31Okra knows what he's doing when he cooks.
- 1:01:32It.
- 1:01:34Probably doesn't have a lot of fat on it.
- 1:01:36That's true.
- 1:01:37It'd be a very lean meat.
- 1:01:38That's right there's a little bit of a chuckle of irony as you know, you give the fox dog pup a little bit as well.
- 1:01:48Probably like the fact that he has this look on his face like I won almost.
- 1:01:53Yeah, whatever the case.
- 1:01:59sorry.
- 1:02:00Corey actually starts to talk and he's like, well, we were talking about that witch earlier.
- 1:02:10You guys know the legend behind the witch? And some of them are like, yeah, we know the legend by the witch and the well, I don't know the legend by the witch.
- 1:02:20Go on and tell me.
- 1:02:21And Boku just says witch bad.
- 1:02:27No white witch inquiries.
- 1:02:29Like yeah, and for good reason, some say that, well, you guys already know cause we talked about it earlier, some say that there was a spirit, an evil spirit, and there was a woman that was dying.
- 1:02:55the evil spirit went into her and possessed her.
- 1:02:59And she survived, but she had a dark power.
- 1:03:02But the tribe that she was living amongst, they knew.
- 1:03:07They caught on to what she was doing and this evil power that she had.
- 1:03:11And so they managed to kill her.
- 1:03:13But they say that she had a daughter and her daughter got away.
- 1:03:17And the spirit possessed her daughter as she fled.
- 1:03:20And so she has grown into the witch that lives within these woods and still resides here today.
- 1:03:28And as he's saying that, you hear like some movement from one of the bushes.
- 1:03:32And everybody like and they turn around and Zen Zoo pops out.
- 1:03:38And he's got like a bunch of stuff in his hair.
- 1:03:40And they're like, oh, wow, that was so stupid, or whatever.
- 1:03:44Corey's getting a chuckle out of it because obviously he was in on it.
- 1:03:50Mr.
- 1:03:50Okaran's like, well, I'm still a little confused at what it is that makes this witch so dangerous.
- 1:03:57I've heard a lot about spirits and what they've done or what they can do with a person or whatever the case.
- 1:04:04I'm just a little confused.
- 1:04:05And they're like I said before, earlier, she's able to control you with her mind.
- 1:04:10She uses special powers and she can stop you when your tracks just freeze you there.
- 1:04:16And then she can kill you or she can snap your neck from a distance.
- 1:04:20She can do all sorts of terrifying, horrible things.
- 1:04:23As we're talking about this, my body language is just going to get pretty nervous, a little bit scared.
- 1:04:30Yeah, I'm definitely going to play it off more like I'm scared of the story and not of them finding out more about me.
- 1:04:40It's funny you mentioned that because as you're kind of like, oh, man, that's spooky and all this other stuff, corey kind of like pauses for a moment and he kind of looks at you with squinted eyes a little bit.
- 1:04:53And he says, you know, beast on the legend.
- 1:04:58The witch would probably be about your age, mika and Mr.
- 1:05:05Obama's like but the other two guys don't seem quite as chucky about it.
- 1:05:16They seem a little like they look over at Cory and they see his kind of like squinted look.
- 1:05:21And since they've traveled with him and known him for a long time, they kind of feel like there might be a little bit more to what he's saying maybe.
- 1:05:30Yeah, well, this is all just a legend, though.
- 1:05:34You don't even know if she's really alive or not.
- 1:05:37If she is a girl my age, she's probably just as scared as I was when I came to your camp looking for my dad.
- 1:05:44That's exactly the kind of thing she do to trick three hunters into falling for her charm before taking them all in the night or turning them into some sort of zombie slaves or something.
- 1:05:59I don't know what she does.
- 1:06:02Kind of suspicious that you were out on your own.
- 1:06:08I mean, it's not that suspicious.
- 1:06:10You guys heard of the avalanche? It obviously came from somewhere that makes the most sense.
- 1:06:19Somewhere that makes the most sense? I don't know what that means, but it sounds vague.
- 1:06:30Listen, I was out hunting with my dad.
- 1:06:35We were fighting well, we were arguing.
- 1:06:38We were arguing about who's going to shoot the board because my dad's a better shot.
- 1:06:43And all of a sudden, there's just an avalanche that came out of nowhere.
- 1:06:47And when I woke up, he was nowhere to be found.
- 1:06:51That's when I found this fox pup we came across in a polar leopard.
- 1:06:58And I was able to manage to scare it off.
- 1:07:02They ran away, and I slept in a tent, hoping that my dad would find me in the morning.
- 1:07:08Corey like, lean forward a little bit, and he says, you know, they say that those who are possessed by spirits have an unnatural friendship with animals.
- 1:07:21And Mr.
- 1:07:21O'grand just starts to nervously laugh.
- 1:07:24He's like, oh, you guys, it's Meeka.
- 1:07:29We're talking.
- 1:07:29I mean, she shot an animal today.
- 1:07:31I don't think somebody that's close to animals would shoot an animal and kill it.
- 1:07:38We're eating it right now.
- 1:07:39That just seems a little outside of the concept.
- 1:07:43And Corey just kind of, like, leans back and he's like, sure, sure.
- 1:07:48Yeah.
- 1:07:49You know, it doesn't even make sense.
- 1:07:51Wanting to make sense of the fox pup came to me because, like I said, I scared off the polar leopard.
- 1:07:57And the fox pup was hurt.
- 1:08:00He was in a fight with him, so naturally he just got attached to me.
- 1:08:05His mom and his siblings were dead.
- 1:08:07I found them dead.
- 1:08:09Corey's like, how do we know that you didn't just kill him and now you're controlling the fox pup to follow you along and keep you safe? Weren't you think if I was controlling it, I would have had him attack you guys right now since you're interrogating me on some legend.
- 1:08:24We don't even know if it's real.
- 1:08:25Well, I don't know if you're the witch.
- 1:08:28What if you've got creepier plans for us than just killing us? I'm going to turn us into your zombie slaves.
- 1:08:39And Mr.
- 1:08:40O'garage just starts laughing and goes, okay, I think this is the end of this conference.
- 1:08:45I think we're going a little bit far here with these accusator accusator? How do you say that? Is that right? Accusatory accusations.
- 1:08:57And Zinzi says, yeah, I think it's maybe the end of this.
- 1:09:03Maybe we better go to bed.
- 1:09:06And Boku says, me scared.
- 1:09:10And he says, yeah, well, if we fall asleep, we can't be scared.
- 1:09:15Boku, he's like, we go to sleep.
- 1:09:19He's like, good, good.
- 1:09:21And Boku walks over it.
- 1:09:23And you notice that, like, Boku is like this massive tent compared to everybody else.
- 1:09:27And he, like, climbs in, like, has to crawl in all awkward or something.
- 1:09:31And you can hear very quickly just, oh, my goodness.
- 1:09:36Those people, the other two, they just kind of look a little I don't know what's the word, off.
- 1:09:45As they head to their tents, mr.
- 1:09:48Oak run.
- 1:09:49He's like, Mikai, I'm sorry for all that.
- 1:09:53I hope it doesn't bother you.
- 1:09:55I know they're kind of suspicious, to say the least.
- 1:09:59For some reason, you seem like all right to me.
- 1:10:02And I've seen some things with spirits in my time before, but possessed, in which it seems a little ridiculous.
- 1:10:12Don't let them get to you, okay? Just have a good night's sleep, and we'll try to find your dad again tomorrow.
- 1:10:19Thanks, Mr.
- 1:10:20Okra.
- 1:10:22Okuran.
- 1:10:23Okuran.
- 1:10:25That's alright.
- 1:10:27He's like, I'll see you in the morning.
- 1:10:28And he heads off to bed.
- 1:10:31I'm going to go into my tent.
- 1:10:37I'm going to look at the fox puffer and say, you can sleep here.
- 1:10:42And I pat and, like, the croak of my legs, and I sleep in a way where I can keep an eye on the door of my tent.
- 1:10:50Okay.
- 1:10:51And I'm going to have that pocket knife kind of clutched in my hand, and I'm going to tuck my hand underneath, like, my sleeve.
- 1:11:01Okay.
- 1:11:03I'm just very wary of the situation.
- 1:11:07I don't fall asleep right away.
- 1:11:08Okay, sounds good.
- 1:11:11So you don't fall asleep right away.
- 1:11:13And as the night starts to get a little bit later, you do eventually kind of drift off to sleep ever so slightly.
- 1:11:21I would argue that she probably having grown up out in the wilderness and her dad being very much like, kind of a hunter type.
- 1:11:28She's a pretty light sleeper for the most part.
- 1:11:31And with that being said, there's a point at which you suddenly wake up very abruptly and you feel something like kind of like land on you.
- 1:11:43And you find, like, a pack, like a backpack, and that's not yours, that's suddenly in this tent.
- 1:11:51And there's a little note on it, and it says, they want to hurt you.
- 1:11:58You must escape now.
- 1:12:00It's signed, Mr.
- 1:12:02O.
- 1:12:02I'm going to take the pack.
- 1:12:06Okay? You can feel that there's some stuff in there.
- 1:12:10You're not sure what.
- 1:12:11I mean, unless you want to look now or you want to look later.
- 1:12:13But whatever the case, I don't think I'm going to look now because I have my pocket knife.
- 1:12:19I'm going to do my fox pup wake up.
- 1:12:23Yeah.
- 1:12:23Okay.
- 1:12:24He seems very alert.
- 1:12:26Or is it a she? I don't remember what you did.
- 1:12:28It's a he.
- 1:12:29Okay.
- 1:12:29So he seems very alert.
- 1:12:31I'm going to kind of look at it and just say, let's get out of here.
- 1:12:36Okay.
- 1:12:37I'm going to move back the tent flap door, whatever, and just kind of peek out.
- 1:12:46Without poking too much of it, just kind of seeing if I can see anybody, and if I don't, I'm going to sneak off into the trees.
- 1:12:55I'm assuming that's about this.
- 1:12:57Sure.
- 1:12:57So as you kind of, like, very carefully peek out, you can see the embers are still lit on the fire, and so there's a little bit of a glow over the camp, but you notice that Boku isn't sticking out of his tent anymore like he was before.
- 1:13:16You can kind of see he's got, like, a ponytail.
- 1:13:22Right.
- 1:13:23Probably should have mentioned it before, but he has a ponytail, and you can kind of see it sticking out over what you know is Zenzu's tent.
- 1:13:31Not from inside, but, like, from behind it as if, like, he's over there.
- 1:13:44but you don't see the other two, and you don't see Mr.
- 1:13:47Ocaron at the moment.
- 1:13:49Okay.
- 1:13:52I'm going to walk in the opposite direction, the climb out of the tent, and then yeah.
- 1:13:59Okay.
- 1:13:59Kind of as quickly as I can, but obviously not probably as quick as I could be, just because I'm trying to be quiet.
- 1:14:06Trying to be extra quiet.
- 1:14:07Yeah.
- 1:14:07Okay.
- 1:14:08All right.
- 1:14:08Sounds good.
- 1:14:09So you take off into the night, and you make it quite a ways away, and then all of a sudden, you hear what sounds like maybe some kind of a scuffle or something in the distance from where the little campsite was, and you hear the voice of Zenzu shout out, she's left the tent.
- 1:14:31We got to get after her.
- 1:14:32Corey, check for footprints.
- 1:14:34And he's like, I found them.
- 1:14:36Gosh.
- 1:14:38And then, you know, you can hear from a distance.
- 1:14:41You know, things get hushed, but you kind of get the feeling that they might be after you right now.
- 1:14:47Okay.
- 1:14:52Are there any, like, those fur tree branches lying on the ground or easily that I can rip off a tree? Sure.
- 1:15:00Yeah, definitely.
- 1:15:01Okay.
- 1:15:01I'm going to take one of those, and I'm going to walk carefully backwards a few steps.
- 1:15:06Okay.
- 1:15:07And I'm going to sweep away the footsteps that I just walked in, and then I'm going to kind of turn and stop at the base of a tree.
- 1:15:17Okay.
- 1:15:20My footsteppoints are still going to be there, and then I'm going to start just running away from the voices.
- 1:15:28But as I'm running, I'm going to have my tree wrench behind me, kind of, like, covering up my footprints the best I can.
- 1:15:35I mean, it's obviously you're still probably going to see somebody or something went that way, but my hopes are that it's going to obscure my trail just a little bit.
- 1:15:44Okay, sounds good.
- 1:15:45Okay.
- 1:15:46So you can hear them from a distance again.
- 1:15:49They're not trying to be subtle.
- 1:15:50Obviously, they don't I mean, they're obviously scared of whatever the witch is, right? But they don't have, like, the fear of I'm trying to hide from somebody.
- 1:16:02I'm the hunter, I'm not the hunted.
- 1:16:04Kind of a mentality.
- 1:16:05So you hear them wherever they go, they're loud, and they rush up to about where you started covering your tracks with the thing.
- 1:16:15And then Cory says, it looks like she seems to be covering her tracks.
- 1:16:21We're going to have to split up.
- 1:16:23And then he's like, I'll go this way.
- 1:16:26Zinzu, you go that way.
- 1:16:28And Boku, you go whatever direction you want.
- 1:16:31Boku, go this way.
- 1:16:32Okay, you go that way.
- 1:16:33Boku.
- 1:16:34And you hear them moving in different directions.
- 1:16:40I'm going to keep going the direction I'm going.
- 1:16:42Okay.
- 1:16:45As I'm looking, is there like a cave or I guess what do I see that I could try and hide in? It's pretty like straightforward forest.
- 1:16:58So, I mean, if you wanted to hide in some bushes or if you wanted to climb a tree, those are definitely options.
- 1:17:05Every once in a while, there's definitely a rock outcropping, since this is kind of like a bridge between the mountain region and the forest region.
- 1:17:14So every once in a while you'll see, like I said, a rock outcropping.
- 1:17:17So if you wanted to hide underneath the sort of, like, plateau section of this rock, you could do that as well.
- 1:17:25Probably three options.
- 1:17:26Okay, the last option.
- 1:17:27Okay, sounds good.
- 1:17:28So you do that as you sort of like, slide underneath of it.
- 1:17:33You hear pretty heavy footsteps.
- 1:17:37As you kind of hide amidst the rocky outcropping, you can hear what you would assume probably is Boku because they're so heavy.
- 1:18:06I smell something.
- 1:18:09And he's sort of starting to move a little bit closer.
- 1:18:13You're not 100% sure if he has any idea what he smells because he hasn't really alluded to anything about him having a really good smell.
- 1:18:20Apparently, like, you just knew he was this big guy, didn't talk much, but he is moving a little bit closer to you.
- 1:18:27Are you doing anything or are you just going to stay hidden? I'm going to you said I'm underneath kind of like the rock cropping.
- 1:18:39Okay.
- 1:18:39So I'm going to get like how do I say it? I'm going to push myself the farthest underneath that I can just to try and obscure myself.
- 1:18:58I'm going to look at the fox pup and kind of just put my finger to my mouth, hoping he understands to not make a noise.
- 1:19:08And I'm just going to scoop up some snow in my hands, and I'm going to end up throwing it out this guy's face if he ends up finding me just to COVID his eyesight.
- 1:19:191st 1 second.
- 1:19:20Okay, do it.
- 1:19:22Rely on your skills and training to see if you're able to kind of obscure yourself from his searching.
- 1:19:29So that's going to be with focus.
- 1:19:34Eight.
- 1:19:35Okay.
- 1:19:36So you push yourself as far back underneath this rock as you can, and you push some snow up to kind of prepare yourself for it.
- 1:19:43And sure enough, he doesn't seem to be fully able to figure out where you are.
- 1:19:48He kind of knows, like you're over by he comes over to where this rocket is.
- 1:19:52That's the last snow that he got.
- 1:19:54But he starts up, he's smelling around, and he can't seem to pick up the scent.
- 1:19:58And now he's just kind of relying on his side.
- 1:20:04So he's just looking around and moving around and stuff like that.
- 1:20:07And at one point, he crawls up onto the rock ledge.
- 1:20:11And being that he's kind of a heavy guy, the rock starts to kind of, like, bow ever so slightly.
- 1:20:19And obviously since you're underneath it, you're feeling as the pressure is starting to press against your feet and you're worried that you're about to get squashed.
- 1:20:35so you said he's on top of the rock, so he's probably directly above me, right? I can assume that anyway.
- 1:20:41Yeah, I mean, you can hear or feel or whatever sense is pretty heavy footsteps.
- 1:20:49So I would say you have a pretty good idea.
- 1:20:52I'm going to slowly squeeze my way through to the side.
- 1:21:04I'm still going to stay along the same area as I am the farthest back, but I'm going to be shooting to the side, and I'm going to see if I can peek my head to see if I can see where he's looking in order to keep it safe to run out from under the rock, I guess.
- 1:21:21Okay.
- 1:21:22Yeah.
- 1:21:23You pull yourself out moving around to try to not get squished.
- 1:21:27You peek your head out over this side to find him looking over the opposite side of the rock because he heard something underneath the rock moving around.
- 1:21:37So he looked underneath.
- 1:21:39Hello, is witch here? And so all you end up seeing as you're peeking your head out is his large posterior facing your direction.
- 1:21:57Okay.
- 1:21:58I'm going to probably not run, but I'm going to walk in the opposite direction that he's looking.
- 1:22:09Okay.
- 1:22:10And while I'm doing that, I'm going to see if there's potentially another spot for me to hide.
- 1:22:17Okay.
- 1:22:19I'm going to call it a trick, which is creativity.
- 1:22:26Okay.
- 1:22:26Since so far he's been tricked into looking at the rock while you're exiting the rock, I guess eight.
- 1:22:35Okay.
- 1:22:36So you get to pick one.
- 1:22:38They stumble and take plus one forward to exiting again, and you get plus one forward acting against them.
- 1:22:44They act foolishly, and that gives you an additional opportunity that I come up with, or they over commit and they're deceived for some time.
- 1:22:51I'm going to do the actual foolishly.
- 1:22:56Okay.
- 1:22:57I think I got something for that.
- 1:22:58Okay.
- 1:22:59So as you sort of start to walk away at this point, he is like, crawled down like he's on all fours as he was looking over the edge because he heard something underneath the rock.
- 1:23:10So then he crawled down on all fours, and then he's crawling around near the bottom of where you were hiding, and he hears you walking away.
- 1:23:22And so his attempt to oh, there's the witch goes underneath the rock and gets himself wedged under there and kind of stuck really awkwardly.
- 1:23:32And so his butt is pointing out the one end, and he's reaching out the other end, trying to scramble through, and he goes, oh, I stopped.
- 1:23:41And so now he's just kind of awkwardly trapped underneath this rock by his own doing, which gives you an opportunity to escape.
- 1:23:51Okay.
- 1:23:52All right, so you're rushing back, or I guess you said walking, but are you rushing at this point? Okay, so you're rushing off at this point into the darkness.
- 1:24:03I want, before I even tell you what it's for, I want you to do a push your luck nine nine.
- 1:24:12Okay, cool.
- 1:24:13So as you're running off down the pathway, you hear the sound of and then kind of like this weird spinning, whirring sound in the air.
- 1:24:26And this I don't know if Mika would know what it was called, but it seems like three strings with balls at the end of each of them all attached to each other, come flying by and wrap themselves around a nearby tree branch, like just missing your feet by, like, inches.
- 1:24:44Oh, gosh.
- 1:24:44And you hear, not too far away from you, Zenzu says, I almost had her.
- 1:24:52I got you now, witch.
- 1:24:54And you realize that Zenzu has caught up too at this point.
- 1:24:58Dang.
- 1:25:01I look over my shoulder and I'm just going to yell, I'm not a witch.
- 1:25:06You lying to me.
- 1:25:08Don't you think I would have tried to use my body snatching skills already? And he's like, well, if you do, then I definitely know that you're a witch.
- 1:25:21And that's what I'm aiming to find out.
- 1:25:26I am going to try to water bend the snow to kind of act like a wave okay.
- 1:25:37To see if I can try and cover bury his legs, at least just a little bit in order to slow him down and give me the room to escape.
- 1:25:49Okay, so evade and observe.
- 1:25:51So you're going to evade, observe.
- 1:25:52Obviously, he's advancing and attacking.
- 1:25:58Obviously.
- 1:25:59So he's rushing after you.
- 1:26:01He's pulling out a new weapon now that he's pulling out a second one of those things that he had before.
- 1:26:06So he's about ready to throw it.
- 1:26:09So he's going to strike.
- 1:26:10So he throws this towards you since I slept after the Polar Leopard attack.
- 1:26:17Oh, yes.
- 1:26:17So I got get to your fatigue back.
- 1:26:20Yeah, I forgot to mention.
- 1:26:23Okay, so he's going to strike.
- 1:26:24He's going to throw these Ebolas at you.
- 1:26:26So it says, strike a phone reach, forcing the Mark Two fatigue market conditioners shift their balance away from center.
- 1:26:32He is going to impair you with these, what is known as Ebola, which wraps around your leg as you're running.
- 1:26:42So it kind of knocks you off balance and you're slowed or you kind of like fall into the snow.
- 1:26:47Right.
- 1:26:50You can mark one fatigue to avoid taking a minus two to all physical actions.
- 1:26:57I'll do that.
- 1:26:58Okay.
- 1:27:00So he throws a bull as it wraps around your legs.
- 1:27:04As you're following falling sorry.
- 1:27:08You use a little bit of your water bending to kind of create like an icicle that you quickly, like, snap the strings on the bowls for.
- 1:27:15So then you're able to catch yourself and keep moving.
- 1:27:17But then you turn around and you're going to use evade and observe.
- 1:27:21So you get to clear one fatigue and you roll with creativity or harmony in an attempt to bolster a hinder.
- 1:27:31I'm going to roll up creativity.
- 1:27:38eight.
- 1:27:39Okay.
- 1:27:39Yeah, that's a success.
- 1:27:40Perfect.
- 1:27:41So you and Paige and nearby character, you're using kind of like a wave of water bending to, or rather waterbeding to create a wave of snow towards him, covers his feet, which you then kind of turn to an icy sludge, which kind of blocks him in.
- 1:27:55So I'm assuming you're kind of like trapping him.
- 1:27:57Essentially, yeah.
- 1:27:58So with trapped, you're completely helpless.
- 1:28:03You must mark combination of three fatigue or conditions to escape at the moment, at the very least, whether he's going to do that or not, he is stuck giving you an opportunity to run away if that's what you're going to choose.
- 1:28:14Okay.
- 1:28:15So he's very angry.
- 1:28:16You can hear him shouting at this.
- 1:28:20He starts pulling out like another item from his bag, and it's like an ice pick, and he's just tink.
- 1:28:26So he is going to be taking that three fatigue to exhaustively chip himself out of this ice.
- 1:28:33And he yells off after you.
- 1:28:34He said, she does have weird powers.
- 1:28:37I knew she was a witch.
- 1:28:41It's not weird.
- 1:28:42It's water bending.
- 1:28:44You like shelter.
- 1:28:45It's not weird.
- 1:28:46It's water bending.
- 1:28:48And you're having a hard time making out what he says after that.
- 1:28:57So eventually the sound of tinking fades into the background like it continues.
- 1:29:01So you know that he's still working on it, but it fades because you're so far away.
- 1:29:05So you're almost out of the situation when suddenly you start to hear you kind of stop as you hear something in the distance, and you hear, let's see, I see footprints here.
- 1:29:21Yes, yes, she went this way.
- 1:29:25I don't like this guy.
- 1:29:32I'm just going to continue running okay.
- 1:29:35In the same direction that I've been running.
- 1:29:38So you continue to run, and as you're running, you realize that you hear a second set of footprints.
- 1:29:46You can tell based on the fact that your footprints, you're making a certain pattern that obviously you understand and everything like that.
- 1:29:53And you hear another set of footprints that's in a different pattern from you and unfortunately sounds faster than you.
- 1:30:01And as you look, you see that Corey is actually close behind you, running after you and catching up very quickly.
- 1:30:10And he says, there you are.
- 1:30:13I found you now, witch.
- 1:30:16I'm not a witch.
- 1:30:25I'd like to advance an attack and do the sweep the legs.
- 1:30:28Oh, okay.
- 1:30:28All right.
- 1:30:30He's going to do a defendant maneuver, which is to seize a position.
- 1:30:34So he's just trying to get close to you.
- 1:30:37If you want to mark a fatigue, you can do so to block him from getting close to you.
- 1:30:42And then you can just kind of describe to me what that looks like, how you kind of, like, keep him from getting too close.
- 1:30:48Currently, in his hands, you can see, is a spear, just a very basic, traditional spear.
- 1:30:55Margot fishy.
- 1:30:56Okay, sounds good.
- 1:30:58You can describe me.
- 1:30:59So as he's running up to you, he's got a spear in his hand.
- 1:31:01He's trying to get close to you.
- 1:31:02What do you do to keep him back? Or I guess technically speaking, it could go along with your sweet delight.
- 1:31:09So I'm going to turn around, and as I'm turning, I'm just going to take my leg out.
- 1:31:13Okay.
- 1:31:14So it's going to be a role with passion.
- 1:31:17Yes.
- 1:31:18And we'll call it a strike.
- 1:31:23Oh, my goodness.
- 1:31:26Five.
- 1:31:27Okay, so he's rushing up to you.
- 1:31:34You managed to sort of, like, side step him to keep him from getting right up next to you and have kind of the control of the situation.
- 1:31:40But as you go to sort of trip him up with your sweep the leg, he nimbly jumps over your leg that swings out towards him, hits the ground, slides in the snow, and turns back towards you.
- 1:31:52And he says, you thought you could stop me, but I've got you now.
- 1:31:59And he, like, starts to draw back as if he's about to throw his spear.
- 1:32:04And then all of a sudden, your fox dog leaps out at full speed and jumps on top of him and just start you just hear him very violently kind of attacking this man, like, tearing at his clothing or whatever the case, trying to stop him.
- 1:32:24Opportunities to run, but I think I'm going to run anyway.
- 1:32:28All right.
- 1:32:31Using the distraction that your fox dog creates, you run off into the forest a little ways or as fast as you can, since he has given you the opportunity to escape from these crazed hunters.
- 1:32:43And again, eventually, the sound of the grunts and growls fade away in the background as you rush away and you find yourself in complete silence.
- 1:32:57It's dark.
- 1:32:58It's a forest.
- 1:32:59I mean, at most, you might hear, like, a owl cat or something rooting or whatever sound they make in the trees, but otherwise, it's just you alone, and it starts to burn a little bit in your chest.
- 1:33:14You've been running.
- 1:33:15If you've ever run in cold air, it's like the most painful sensation in the world.
- 1:33:21My nostrils are probably sticking.
- 1:33:23Yes.
- 1:33:24And so you come to a slow to take a deep breath and kind of catch your breath a little bit and hopefully warm up a little bit so that it's not stinging inside of your lungs.
- 1:33:35And as you're doing this, as you're catching your breath, you hear some of the branches, and the shrubbery near you start to kind of, like, shake a little bit because somebody's there.
- 1:33:50I'm going to pull out my pocket knife.
- 1:33:54Okay.
- 1:34:00I'm just going to stay in my crouch position.
- 1:34:02Okay.
- 1:34:04Kind of slow my breathing so it doesn't sound so, like, exasperated, I guess.
- 1:34:09Right as you do this, bursting out of the bushes is Mr.
- 1:34:17Okaron.
- 1:34:18And he sees you and he goes, mika.
- 1:34:23Oh, thank goodness you're okay.
- 1:34:26It's okay.
- 1:34:27It's just me.
- 1:34:28I promise.
- 1:34:29I'm not here to hurt you.
- 1:34:32Are you sure you were with those three people? Well, I mean, I was traveling with them, but what they were doing is wrong.
- 1:34:41I'm not here to hurt you.
- 1:34:42I swear.
- 1:34:43I gave you the pack.
- 1:34:45I was the one mr.
- 1:34:46O tried to help you.
- 1:34:50It's okay.
- 1:34:50I assure you I'm trying to help.
- 1:34:55Okay.
- 1:34:57There's a nearby Earth Kingdom village that should be close by here that sort of bridges the Water Nation.
- 1:35:06And I think if we can get there, I can get you to safety.
- 1:35:10OK, I guess I'll follow you.
- 1:35:13But what about my dad? That's true.
- 1:35:17Maybe the best I can offer is maybe he made it to the town as well, and maybe he's waiting there for you.
- 1:35:27Okay, I'll go with you.
- 1:35:30If not, you're welcome to stay at I have a tea shop in a small Earth Kingdom town called Galilee.
- 1:35:37You can stay there as long as you need to, and we'll put up posters or ask around or whatever the case, and hopefully we can find your dad.
- 1:35:48Okay, sounds good.
- 1:35:51Okay.
- 1:35:55Where's the little fox dog? I left him behind.
- 1:36:01He gave me an opportunity to escape and so I took it.
- 1:36:05Well, maybe he'll catch up.
- 1:36:09Yeah.
- 1:36:11I'm going to leave some of my jerky behind so he knows to come in this direction.
- 1:36:16Sure, that's a good idea.
- 1:36:19Breadcrumbs? Yeah, I once read an old story about that.
- 1:36:23Well, actually, there was a witch and bowl, but it's not like that, I assure you.
- 1:36:28Okay, good.
- 1:36:29Yes.
- 1:36:30All right, let's get out of here because it might not take long before those guys might catch up.
- 1:36:36Yeah.
- 1:36:37All right.
- 1:36:38And with that, you head off with Mr.
- 1:36:40Ocaron, eventually making your way to a small Earth Kingdom town not too far from where you're at.
- 1:36:48And unfortunately, obviously, you don't find your father there.
- 1:36:52So you move on with him to Galang, where he gives you a place to stay and hopefully your dad finds you or you happen to get information about your dad in the meantime.
- 1:37:03And with that.
- 1:37:05That is the end of Mika's backstory.
