- 0:02Speaker 1: And now, welcome to the world-famous Phil Henry Show. Phil,
- 0:05Speaker 1: back in studio. We'll be talking with Harvey Weirman tonight.
- 0:08Speaker 1: It's the anniversary of the publishing of his.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Book, Poof!
- 0:11Speaker 3: There He Went. I don't remember this. He was on
- 0:13Speaker 3: the show.
- 0:13Speaker 2: All right, fine.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Yeah, gentlemen, don't comment.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Just.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Don't tell me. All right, thanks very much, General. Yes,
- 0:20Speaker 1: tonight we will have Harvey Weirman on. And he did
- 0:23Speaker 1: write a book called Poof!
- 0:24Speaker 2: There He Went.
- 0:25Speaker 3: And do we remember exactly when it was published?
- 0:27Speaker 2: No, we don't.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I think it was 2022, but he was on the show...
- 0:30Speaker 1: when he published it. And the book is about a
- 0:32Speaker 1: friend of his that went missing. A friend of his
- 0:36Speaker 1: by the name of Nat, what was his name?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Nat Bibb.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Nat Bibb? Yeah, B-I-B-B. And was he a fellow veteran? Yes,
- 0:46Speaker 3: he was.
- 0:46Speaker 1: He was a fellow Marine Corps veteran, a veteran of
- 0:49Speaker 1: the Pacific. And he went missing one night and they
- 0:52Speaker 1: found him in a tree.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Oh my God, she's laughing. So are you.
- 0:59Speaker 4: So are you. Yeah, you'd laugh too, General.
- 1:01Speaker 3: All right, so I did. Margaret, you okay?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yes, I'm fine, and I'm sorry if I laughed, but
- 1:08Speaker 1: Nat Bibb went missing one night, and they found him
- 1:11Speaker 1: in a tree where?
- 1:12Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It's not my life. Okay, we'll talk to Harvey here.
- 1:16Speaker 4: What?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Mr.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Henry, you went woo-woo-woo-woo-woo.
- 1:19Speaker 3: That's not enough to interrupt the show.
- 1:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I keep telling you guys we don't know.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Look at the shadow falling over my face, man, okay?
- 1:27Speaker 3: That's the shout of the microphone.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:29Speaker 1: By the way, for those of you who do watch
- 1:30Speaker 1: us on video, we have a whole section of the pre-show.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Usually the pre-show is picked up by the video, but
- 1:37Speaker 1: today we have a whole section of our pre-show on
- 1:39Speaker 1: audio only, so when you start the videocast, you'll see
- 1:42Speaker 1: the rest of the pre-show. But we are using now
- 1:46Speaker 1: our standard back roll is the city of Los Angeles,
- 1:49Speaker 1: overlook of the San Gabriel Valley, rolling on out to
- 1:51Speaker 1: the city of L.A., and then beyond that is the
- 1:54Speaker 1: ocean coast. And people always say, oh, the background's moving.
- 1:56Speaker 1: That's because my camera was moving when.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I videotaped it.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Way to explain it, Phil.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Phil Hendry here with General Galen Shaw, Margaret Gray, and
- 2:06Speaker 1: Bud Dickman. We also want to thank everybody for, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 1: hanging in with us while we did three of the
- 2:12Speaker 1: toughest days of work I've ever had in my life.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Are you going to talk about the television show again?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Phil.
- 2:17Speaker 3: What are you, lording it over everybody?
- 2:19Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, I did TV.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I'm not doing any such thing.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Well, you know what?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Let me just tell you a little more about the
- 2:25Speaker 3: TV show I did.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Mr.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Danny, that's what you're doing. You're going, Mr. Hi, I'm...
- 2:31Speaker 4: You're saying, hey, Mr.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I'm Mr.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Phil... Will you shut up, please?
- 2:35Speaker 1: Phil, don't tell him to shut up. Just because you
- 2:37Speaker 1: think he's weaker and dumber. I most certainly do not, bud. Okay,
- 2:41Speaker 1: what did you want to say?
- 2:41Speaker 4: I'm just saying that now I forget.
- 2:45Speaker 3: All right, so you... Yeah, way to go, Margaret. I
- 2:48Speaker 3: want to make this point.
- 2:50Speaker 1: That you were on last week talking about being on
- 2:52Speaker 1: this TV show, The Big Long Days.
- 2:55Speaker 4: That's it, yeah, you're working 12, 13, 14 hours.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Excuse me, bud, but I was talking. Oh, are you
- 2:59Speaker 3: interrupting him because he's weaker and dumber? How dare you? Oh,
- 3:03Speaker 3: she balled her fist up. Margaret. Oh, you guys are
- 3:06Speaker 3: pissing me off.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Is this time for a dump?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yes, it is.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Excuse me.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I'd rather you not mention that, Margaret.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You guys hack me off so much, I'll let the
- 3:16Speaker 1: whole world know.
- 3:18Speaker 3: When I got to squeeze one off.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 3:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So now that we're just doing whatever we're doing here.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So yes, those were three. Yes, I don't mind saying
- 3:31Speaker 1: it again. Three of the toughest days of work I've
- 3:33Speaker 1: ever had, man. 12-hour, 13-hour, 14-hour days in quick succession,
- 3:38Speaker 1: three days in a row. But I have to say,
- 3:40Speaker 1: working for some of the nicest people, greatest people, most
- 3:43Speaker 1: talented people.
- 3:44Speaker 3: In the world. Now, you're not lying.
- 3:46Speaker 4: You lions just kind of suck up.
- 3:48Speaker 2: No, I'm not. No, I'm not.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't even mention it if they weren't. But they
- 3:51Speaker 1: were some of the greatest people. And I would tell
- 3:54Speaker 1: you their names, but then you'll find out what the
- 3:55Speaker 1: name of the show is. And then everybody's going to
- 3:57Speaker 1: get pissed off at me because I was, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 1: doing stuff that you're not supposed to do anymore, which
- 4:01Speaker 1: is tell people what show you're on and that and
- 4:03Speaker 1: this and everything else.
- 4:04Speaker 3: How about putting some pictures on social media? That's the
- 4:06Speaker 3: one thing that'll get you shot.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Are you kidding or something?
- 4:12Speaker 5: No, I'm not.
- 4:13Speaker 1: If you're on a TV show in this town and
- 4:15Speaker 1: then you jump the gun with promotion by posting pictures
- 4:20Speaker 1: from the set, you'll get shot.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Firing squad. What's with you, bud?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Is he serious?
- 4:28Speaker 3: No, I'm not serious.
- 4:29Speaker 4: He's not serious.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Goddamn. You just hit the microphone, General.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I did, buddy.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to assuage your hurt feelings. Okay, so what
- 4:37Speaker 1: we're going to do now... Oh, here comes Margaret.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Yeah, here comes Margaret.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Here.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Another roll of bounty.
- 4:42Speaker 3: That's right. Now, what's going on?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 4:45Speaker 1: We're going to bring on Harvey Weirman here on the line.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Harvey is in San Marino, California, which is his home
- 4:50Speaker 1: base and has been for all of the years that
- 4:52Speaker 1: we've talked a good.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Mr. Harvey Wireman. Now, Harvey, I understand your daughter's having
- 4:58Speaker 3: a party?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Yeah, well, this is Bethany's party they're having. It's kind
- 5:03Speaker 5: of a part baby shower and part marriage party. What
- 5:09Speaker 5: do you call it? Bachelorette party. Well, I better not say.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Is it for the same woman?
- 5:15Speaker 5: Yes, it is, and I probably shouldn't have said anything.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 5:19Speaker 3: So this is the same gal having the baby?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Can we just forget? Can we start all over again?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll edit this out.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Okay, thanks. Yeah, Phil.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Hi, Harvey Weirman here. E-S.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And I'm sorry. You know, I have the phlegm. There's
- 5:36Speaker 2: a buildup.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Harvey, have you seen a doctor for that?
- 5:38Speaker 2: No, no, not at all, no.
- 5:39Speaker 5: I've had it for like 10 years. I've never seen
- 5:41Speaker 5: a doctor. Of course I've seen a doctor.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Well, what is it?
- 5:45Speaker 5: I have some mucus buildup. They can't explain it. They
- 5:49Speaker 5: think it's something that I picked up in the Pacific,
- 5:52Speaker 5: some kind of creeping crud that I got from, I
- 5:54Speaker 5: don't know, some tribal people in Guadalcanal. I don't know, Phil,
- 5:57Speaker 5: to be honest with you.
- 5:59Speaker 2: All I know, it scares me, okay? Are you kidding? Yes,
- 6:01Speaker 2: I am.
- 6:02Speaker 3: All right, Harvey, just everybody cool it.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah, cool it, man. Everybody just cool it.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Let's start all over again. Welcome to the Phil Henry Show.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Harvey Weirman on the line with me here from... There
- 6:12Speaker 3: he is.
- 6:13Speaker 1: There he is in San Marino, California, where his daughter's
- 6:16Speaker 1: having a wonderful bridal shower party.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Isn't that right, Harvey?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's... Yeah, that's what it is.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And, Harvey, this is the anniversary of a book that
- 6:24Speaker 3: you wrote called Poof! There He Goes. Nate Bibb was
- 6:28Speaker 3: your comrade-in-arms in the Pacific.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Yes, Nate and I shipped out the same platoon.
- 6:35Speaker 2: We were at.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Carl Gravy and some of the other guys over there.
- 6:39Speaker 5: We island hopped Saipan, Okinawa. We missed a lot of
- 6:44Speaker 5: that heavy fighting because we were just punk kids. But
- 6:48Speaker 5: it was quite an experience. And then we went to,
- 6:53Speaker 5: I said Guadalcanal. We were never at Guadalcanal, but we
- 6:55Speaker 5: were at Okinawa, Saipan, Okinawa.
- 7:00Speaker 3: How many times were you at Okinawa?
- 7:03Speaker 2: Just once.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You've mentioned about three times.
- 7:05Speaker 2: All right, so I forget it. We weren't at Iwo Jima.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I know that.
- 7:10Speaker 6: What about Jima Iwo?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Jima Iwo. I'm going to reach to the phone and
- 7:16Speaker 2: kick your.
- 7:16Speaker 3: All right, take it easy, man. The kid's joking.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I'm just joking around. I'm just joking around.
- 7:22Speaker 2: All right, you don't joke around with stuff like that, okay?
- 7:25Speaker 2: Jima Iwo.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Okay, so anyway, Harvey's with us. Let's talk about the
- 7:28Speaker 3: book and forget about.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But this is your friend, Nate Bibb, who you were
- 7:31Speaker 1: in the Marine Corps with in the Pacific in World
- 7:34Speaker 1: War II.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yes, and one night... Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 5: So we couldn't find him for love or money.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Before you found him, where you did find him, Harvey,
- 8:00Speaker 1: did you make calls? Did you contact people? Where did
- 8:04Speaker 1: you begin the hunt, the physical hunt?
- 8:05Speaker 5: Well, yeah, we did call. We called his son. We
- 8:09Speaker 5: called his daughter. But his son lives in Lewiston.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Delaware.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Excuse me, his son lives in Lewiston, Maine. His daughter
- 8:18Speaker 5: lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. And Nate lives here in
- 8:23Speaker 5: Southern California. So that was blowing my mind a little bit.
- 8:29Speaker 3: But you called them anyway.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Well, we called them. And then somebody said, why are
- 8:32Speaker 5: you calling them? They're in Delaware and Maine.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And I said, you're right.
- 8:35Speaker 5: So I hung the phone up and I sat down
- 8:37Speaker 5: on the couch and just kind of looked at my
- 8:38Speaker 5: feet for a while.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And We're talking here with Harvey Weirman about the book
- 8:42Speaker 1: that he wrote, Poof, There He Goes, the search for
- 8:46Speaker 1: his missing friend Nate Bibb, a fellow Marine from the
- 8:49Speaker 1: Second World, you know, his fellow veteran. Hey, Harvey, I
- 8:52Speaker 1: want to ask, can I ask something about service in
- 8:54Speaker 1: World War II?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I want to talk about the book.
- 8:58Speaker 3: No, no, I know that, but I just want to
- 8:59Speaker 3: ask you, do you, you know, from time to time,
- 9:02Speaker 3: are you ever asked to speak at events?
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yes.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Oh, a long time ago, they would, you know, say,
- 9:08Speaker 5: now here's Harvey Weirman, and he's going to talk about being.
- 9:12Speaker 2: In the Marines, and then in the Marines, educating him.
- 9:17Speaker 5: But I forgot. You know, I just as soon forget
- 9:20Speaker 5: all those days because most of the time I was
- 9:23Speaker 5: bored to tears. I just as soon forget. And, you know,
- 9:26Speaker 5: I gave those little talks, and people would go, wow,
- 9:30Speaker 5: you know, and then they'd say, well, thanks a lot,
- 9:33Speaker 5: and they'd hand me.
- 9:33Speaker 2: A wad of hundreds.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So you wouldn't hang around and have coffee?
- 9:37Speaker 1: No, I told them I would rather not. And they said, well,
- 9:41Speaker 1: what can we do? I said, if I want $ 100 bills,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'll do just fine.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And that's what they did.
- 9:46Speaker 3: So wait a minute. You went and you talked to
- 9:47Speaker 3: these groups. What kind of groups?
- 9:49Speaker 5: Some of them were these women's groups, the League of
- 9:52Speaker 5: Women Voters, and a couple of these Cub Scouts and
- 9:57Speaker 5: things like this.
- 9:58Speaker 3: You spoke to the Cub Scouts?
- 9:59Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you make it sound like I did something perverted.
- 10:04Speaker 3: No, no, that's kind of a young crowd, isn't it?
- 10:07Speaker 5: Well, the kids want to know about it, you know?
- 10:09Speaker 5: And then they said, do you want to stay for coffee?
- 10:13Speaker 5: I said, no, I'd rather just, if you guys wouldn't mind,
- 10:15Speaker 5: just come through for what you promised.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So every one of these groups just handed you, what,
- 10:20Speaker 1: $ 100 bills?
- 10:21Speaker 2: That's right. That's right.
- 10:23Speaker 3: The Cub Scouts, too?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yes. Why should they be any different?
- 10:27Speaker 3: I don't know. Think of them having that kind of...
- 10:29Speaker 3: So the League of Women Voters, the Cub Scouts, who else?
- 10:32Speaker 2: We spoke to a group of horse breeders out here
- 10:35Speaker 2: in San Dimas.
- 10:37Speaker 3: A group of horse breeders.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Hey, Phil, not everybody, you know, we've got a lot
- 10:41Speaker 1: of patriotic people out there, Phil, that are not all
- 10:43Speaker 1: in the broadcasting business or sitting around fingering.
- 10:46Speaker 2: It, okay? These are people that are.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Okay, okay, I'm sorry.
- 10:49Speaker 2: People that, you know, are interested.
- 10:51Speaker 3: And let me guess, they gave you a wad of hundreds?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Oh, so now you're skipping over the talk that I gave.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You just want to get to the wad of hundreds.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You know what, put the word wad in any sentence,
- 10:59Speaker 1: Henry's all over it.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 3: That's real funny, man.
- 11:05Speaker 2: All right, so anyway, you know.
- 11:07Speaker 3: All right, so you got a lot of $ 100 bills
- 11:09Speaker 3: from them.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Well, all right, so this is the most compelling part
- 11:12Speaker 1: of this story, Harvey, is that you spoke to these
- 11:15Speaker 1: groups and you got a big wad of cash.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Never mind.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, see, nobody wants to talk about the fact
- 11:22Speaker 1: that I gave a very compelling talk.
- 11:23Speaker 3: What did you talk about?
- 11:24Speaker 2: I talked about being in the... Oh, my God.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Being in the Marine Corps.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yes. Yes, okay. God, Harvey.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I didn't sound like that, and you know it.
- 11:35Speaker 3: All right, let me just cut to the chase. Let's
- 11:37Speaker 3: get to the book, okay?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Thank you. God.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Harvey Weirman joining us. Harvey, an attorney at law. He's
- 11:45Speaker 1: a longtime legal consultant of the show. And he is
- 11:49Speaker 1: here with us to talk about the book. Poof, there
- 11:51Speaker 1: he went about the disappearance. And you found Nate eventually.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Yes, we found him. Thank God. He was in a tree.
- 11:58Speaker 2: He was dead when we found him. You guys didn't
- 12:00Speaker 2: know that?
- 12:01Speaker 3: I thought you found him.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Oh, Harvey, we thought you found the man alive.
- 12:04Speaker 2: No. He was in the tree dead.
- 12:08Speaker 3: How did he die?
- 12:09Speaker 2: He crawled up into the tree, was looking at the
- 12:12Speaker 2: view through a binoculars, had a heart attack, and then
- 12:15Speaker 2: just draped himself over a tree branch.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Wow, I didn't know that.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 1: So the next time you want me on the show
- 12:23Speaker 1: to talk about Nate Bibb, remember, he croaked up in
- 12:26Speaker 1: that tree. So we thought you went on the search
- 12:29Speaker 1: for Nate Bibb, and you found him in a tree.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And you thought he was alive.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yes, we thought that the man had survived.
- 12:35Speaker 5: No.
- 12:36Speaker 2: As far as I could tell. I mean, they told
- 12:37Speaker 2: me he was dead.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Well, did you go to his funeral?
- 12:40Speaker 2: No.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Well, then how do you know he.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Died, man?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Because I assumed a guy being up in a tree
- 12:45Speaker 1: for 24 hours... At the age of whatever he was, 93,
- 12:48Speaker 1: he was going to have a heart attack.
- 12:50Speaker 2: A heart attack. A heart attack.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Yeah, he was going to have a heart attack and die.
- 12:55Speaker 3: But you don't know that for a fact.
- 12:56Speaker 1: No, I guess I don't know that for a fact.
- 12:58Speaker 1: God almighty, Phil, what I do know is that we
- 13:01Speaker 1: did find Nate. I was grateful that we were able
- 13:02Speaker 1: to find Nate. The family was grateful that he was found.
- 13:06Speaker 1: We were all very, very happy. The fact that he
- 13:09Speaker 1: was dead cold out, you know, that was too bad,
- 13:12Speaker 1: but at least we found him.
- 13:14Speaker 3: But you don't know whether he was really dead or not.
- 13:17Speaker 2: No, I don't. Why is that so important?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Because you wrote a whole book about the guy being
- 13:22Speaker 1: missing and then finding him.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Don't you think you put into the book whether he's
- 13:25Speaker 3: alive or not?
- 13:26Speaker 5: It never occurred to me. The people over at Mickey's,
- 13:29Speaker 5: which is the publishing house.
- 13:31Speaker 3: What's the name of the publishing house?
- 13:32Speaker 5: Mickey's and Moore Publishing.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Okay.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I can tell when you assholes are laughing, okay?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Look at Harvey, I've never heard of Mickey's anymore, but okay.
- 13:40Speaker 1: But you published a whole book without knowing whether the
- 13:43Speaker 1: guy was found dead or alive.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I assumed, can I just say, I assumed he was dead.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Did you say that in the book?
- 13:49Speaker 5: I believe I said in the book when they found Nate,
- 13:51Speaker 5: he was cold and stiff as a rock. They pulled
- 13:55Speaker 5: him down out of the tree, put him on a cot,
- 13:57Speaker 5: threw a cover over him, pulled him back into the house,
- 14:00Speaker 5: and went back to dinner.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And went back to dinner.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Jesus, Henry.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Is that what you put in the book?
- 14:10Speaker 2: I forget. I don't even know what I wrote in
- 14:12Speaker 2: the book.
- 14:12Speaker 3: We've got to find out if this guy Nate Bibb
- 14:14Speaker 3: is alive, okay?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 3: We're going to find out if he's alive or not.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Do you know who to call?
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we do. We know a couple of
- 14:20Speaker 3: guys that you know. We know Billy Silver.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Oh, don't call that asshole, okay?
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but he knows both of you.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Billy Silver never shuts up. That's all he ever does.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Mr. Silver says that Nate Bibb indeed is alive.
- 14:35Speaker 3: He lives in San Diego.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Are you sure Silver told you that?
- 14:40Speaker 6: I just talked to him right now. If you want
- 14:41Speaker 6: to get him on the phone, I can get him
- 14:43Speaker 6: on the, see if he'll come on the air with us.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Okay.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Mr.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Silver, can you go on the air with Mr.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Henry?
- 14:49Speaker 4: Mr.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Henry? Mr.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Phil Henry, yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Well, he does a podcast. Can I, give me the phone,
- 14:54Speaker 3: will you?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Mr.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Silver, are you there, sir? I'm sorry to trouble you.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Yes, sir. Who am I speaking with?
- 15:01Speaker 4: Phil Henry.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Oh, yes, sir.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I know you.
- 15:03Speaker 5: And I know Harvey's on the phone. Harvey, a long
- 15:05Speaker 5: time no speak. So you know you talked to Nate Bibb? Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 5: I talked to him. I talked to him every other
- 15:13Speaker 5: night on the phone. Well, how come nobody told me
- 15:17Speaker 5: he was alive? Well, you never, you know, as the
- 15:19Speaker 5: saying goes, you never asked. When they pulled him out
- 15:23Speaker 5: of the tree, you guys laid him on a cot
- 15:24Speaker 5: and put a sheet over his face because they haven't
- 15:27Speaker 5: finished dinner yet.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Did you guys check to see if he was alive?
- 15:31Speaker 5: I don't remember. I didn't feel a pulse, but I
- 15:33Speaker 5: think Bethany Willman did and her husband, Goon, the two
- 15:37Speaker 5: of them. So you're saying Goon Willman and Bethany checked
- 15:40Speaker 5: for a pulse? That's what I'm saying, yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Have you talked to him since?
- 15:44Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, I talked to him last week.
- 15:47Speaker 2: What is he doing?
- 15:48Speaker 5: He's just sitting and doing what he does right now.
- 15:50Speaker 5: He meditates. He's well into his Buddhist practice. He meditates
- 15:54Speaker 5: and chants, and he goes to the Buddhist temple.
- 15:57Speaker 2: He goes to the Buddhist temple?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 16:00Speaker 3: This guy's a Buddhist?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 5: He's a long-time Buddhist. As soon as he got back
- 16:04Speaker 5: from the Pacific, he told everybody he's in the Buddhism.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It's called Buddhism. Okay, Buddhism.
- 16:12Speaker 3: So Mr. Bibb is fine and alive, and he's a Buddhist?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Is that the reason why he's never contacted me? He
- 16:21Speaker 5: contacted you. He's wondering why you never contact him. He
- 16:25Speaker 5: figured that you haven't contacted him because you forgot how
- 16:27Speaker 5: to dial a telephone. Oh, that's very funny. No, I
- 16:31Speaker 5: swear to almighty God. Poor Harvey, I'll bet you anything
- 16:34Speaker 5: he don't know how to dial a phone no more
- 16:36Speaker 5: and probably doesn't even know how to look up my
- 16:40Speaker 5: name and can't look my number or anything. So he
- 16:43Speaker 5: thinks that I'm a complete blithering incompetent because of my age. Well, no,
- 16:47Speaker 5: he just, he always loves you, Harvey, he always will,
- 16:50Speaker 5: but he thinks you're kind of a dumbass.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Nate Bibb thinks that Harvey's a dumbass.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's been kind of what it is.
- 16:59Speaker 5: All right, man.
- 17:01Speaker 2: That was humiliating.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Look at Harvey, do you know where the guy's at,
- 17:04Speaker 1: or you don't, or whatever, you don't know. You wrote
- 17:07Speaker 1: a whole book about the guy, and you didn't know
- 17:08Speaker 1: whether he was alive or not.
- 17:10Speaker 2: So what?
- 17:11Speaker 5: Okay, I wrote the book, and I'm on here tonight
- 17:14Speaker 5: to promote the book. And, hey, you can get, it's
- 17:17Speaker 5: published by Amazon, Harvey Weirman. I don't know, I forget
- 17:21Speaker 5: who publishes it.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Is it on Amazon?
- 17:23Speaker 5: I don't know, but we self-publish. It's called The Night, oh, yeah, poof,
- 17:29Speaker 5: there he goes, is The Night that Nate Bibb Went Missing.
- 17:34Speaker 5: And I said, okay, you know.
- 17:37Speaker 3: And we found him, and who knows if he's alive
- 17:39Speaker 3: or not because we've got to finish dinner.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Harvey Wireman, ladies and gentlemen, good luck with the
- 17:46Speaker 3: publishing of the book, sir. We do. We start talking
- 17:52Speaker 3: about him. Well, what's his problem, anyway? Well, why didn't
- 17:55Speaker 3: you ask him? Because I didn't want to start an argument.
- 17:57Speaker 6: He's just, he doesn't, I mean, he published the book,
- 18:00Speaker 6: he got the facts out that he wanted to get out,
- 18:02Speaker 6: and now he knows Mr. Silver that's alive, so he'll
- 18:04Speaker 6: probably be in touch with him.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I think it's really weird to write a book about
- 18:07Speaker 1: a guy that... You don't even know where he is.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You didn't even know if he was alive or not.
- 18:12Speaker 2: What? Yeah, Mr. Weirman. Yeah, Mr. Weirman, he's... Let me
- 18:16Speaker 2: talk to you. Look, you don't hang up on me.
- 18:19Speaker 2: You understand? You don't do that at all, Phil. You don't.
- 18:22Speaker 2: All right, Harvey. If you hang up.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Harvey Weirman, ladies and gentlemen.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 5: What up, Phil?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Look, Harvey, dude, you know, I love you, man, but
- 18:32Speaker 1: if you write a whole book about a guy, you
- 18:33Speaker 1: don't know whether he's alive or dead, and you don't
- 18:35Speaker 1: know whether he was alive or dead when they pulled
- 18:36Speaker 1: him out of that tree.
- 18:39Speaker 4: When they pulled him out of that.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Tree, Jack, I don't know what it is you're smoking.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Yeah, right, yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 3: The world-famous Phil Henry Show will be right back.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Hey, it's all get a backstage pass to Phil Henry Show.
- 18:53Speaker 5: It's a fun thing to do.

- 19:44Speaker 2: Here. What?
- 19:46Speaker 3: What's the problem?
- 19:47Speaker 2: You said that you thought you were talking to... Margaret
- 19:51Speaker 2: or I don't know. You said something bad. It's against
- 19:54Speaker 2: the rules, Mr. Henry. We've decided that if you're going
- 19:57Speaker 2: to have Western Estates in the person of the president
- 20:02Speaker 2: of Western Estates on your show that you should get
- 20:05Speaker 2: your facts right. Get the facts right. Get the facts right.
- 20:11Speaker 1: All right, Bobby, I'm sorry I didn't have the facts right,
- 20:13Speaker 1: but it's no reason to just, you know, hand the
- 20:15Speaker 1: phone over to Steve. Let's not be prima donnas here.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Let's not act stupid, okay?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Oh, my God, he called me stupid. Mr. Henry.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Get the phone back to her.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Get the phone back to her?
- 20:28Speaker 3: I mean, give her the phone. Give the phone.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Give her the phone. Here, honey. Thank you.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Yes?
- 20:34Speaker 3: Bobby, don't do that, okay?
- 20:36Speaker 2: What?
- 20:36Speaker 3: Hand the phone to Steve every time you get upset.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Here, Steve, he just knows the guidelines. Oh, man.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Mr. Renner, we have new guidelines for talking to the
- 20:46Speaker 1: president of Western Estates and my wife, Bobbi Dooley. You
- 20:49Speaker 1: have to get her name right. You've got to be
- 20:51Speaker 1: able to understand, and you don't screw.
- 20:53Speaker 2: It up or anything.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Screw up what, Dooley? What are we screwing up?
- 20:57Speaker 2: You're talking, saying, you know, I don't know what you
- 21:00Speaker 2: just said. What did I say? I forget, but it
- 21:02Speaker 2: was something. You got something wrong.
- 21:04Speaker 3: All right, I'm sorry. We'll try and get everything right. Okay?
- 21:07Speaker 2: All right. Hi, it's Bobby Dooley, Phil.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Hi, Bobby. Hey, listen, we wanted to talk to you
- 21:11Speaker 1: guys about Butner Lake, the summer that you had at Butner. And,
- 21:16Speaker 1: of course, you're back now to attend to Western Estates business.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And what business is that?
- 21:24Speaker 3: You're attending to the Faultacular.
- 21:28Speaker 2: No, I wanted Phil to answer that.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I'm going to hang this phone up in about five seconds.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Mr. Henry, you're violating every guideline, every single guideline in
- 21:39Speaker 2: speaking to the president of a Western Estates Homeowners Association.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Well, I may just continue that way, Bobby. If you
- 21:45Speaker 3: don't want to talk to me, then don't talk to me.
- 21:47Speaker 2: You know, you're really getting.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Really getting what?
- 21:50Speaker 2: You're getting very challenging with people. You're saying, well, you know,
- 21:52Speaker 2: if you don't like it, you can stuff it.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how I'm getting in my old age. If
- 21:56Speaker 3: you don't like it, you can stuff it.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Hi, Mr. Henry, this is Steve Dilley.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Give her the phone back, Steve. Okay, Bobby, so you're back.
- 22:07Speaker 1: You're talking about the fall tacular. I understand you're at
- 22:09Speaker 1: a meeting.
- 22:10Speaker 2: We're having a meeting for the fall tacular, which is
- 22:13Speaker 2: due up here at the last weekend in October. And
- 22:16Speaker 2: we're thinking of having... you know, another fashion show. We
- 22:20Speaker 2: have so many fashion shows. The fashion show that we
- 22:22Speaker 2: want to have right now, sorry, the fashion show we
- 22:26Speaker 2: want to have right now is one for about 100
- 22:30Speaker 2: years of dungarees. You know what dungarees are? Yeah, jeans. Mr. Henry,
- 22:38Speaker 2: you were too quick with that answer.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Okay, thanks a lot, guys. What happened?
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm not going to go through him every time I
- 22:46Speaker 1: answer a question the wrong way or make a comment
- 22:48Speaker 1: the wrong way.
- 22:49Speaker 3: What happened? Aren't you guys listening?
- 22:52Speaker 6: No, actually, we were watching a replay of the Dodger game.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Oh, my God. You guys, do you know what the
- 22:57Speaker 3: score was? Well, don't tell us. I think I will
- 22:59Speaker 3: tell you. Oh, what an asshole. Just because you guys
- 23:02Speaker 3: weren't paying attention. Three to two. Braves won, although Muncie
- 23:04Speaker 3: jacked one in the ninth inning. So there you go.
- 23:07Speaker 4: What a dick. I wanted to watch the game, Mr. Henry.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, you don't get to watch the game. Next time,
- 23:14Speaker 3: pay attention to what you're doing. I'm only kidding. The
- 23:17Speaker 3: Dodgers won.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
