- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It is I Ashley. I Why did I say that
- 0:14Speaker 2: like that?
- 0:14Speaker 3: I don't know how many times have you said that?
- 0:16Speaker 2: I've never said it in like this six years leaved
- 0:19Speaker 2: on this podcast, And that is Peter Weber. Y'all. We
- 0:23Speaker 2: have him on the podcast today because he is well
- 0:26Speaker 2: star of the Traders and we're going to do a
- 0:28Speaker 2: whole episode about his experience there, so stay tuned for that.
- 0:31Speaker 2: But until then, we are going to go over headlines. Now.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I know Peter that you're not fully caught up with
- 0:38Speaker 2: this season yet, but have you spoken to Joey whatsoever?
- 0:42Speaker 4: I haven't spoken to Joey, just exchanging a couple of
- 0:45Speaker 4: texts back and forth since his experience ended. But I
- 0:49Speaker 4: got to know him a little bit before he left
- 0:51Speaker 4: for film, and he was out in New York for
- 0:53Speaker 4: a couple of days hope, like the whole US Open.
- 0:55Speaker 4: So obviously that's all his little niche with the tennis thing.
- 0:58Speaker 4: So I got to know him when now you know,
- 1:00Speaker 4: and I had a couple of drinks. Awesome, dude, I
- 1:02Speaker 4: totally get why they picked him to be the Bachelor.
- 1:05Speaker 4: And again I haven't been able to catch up on
- 1:07Speaker 4: the season up to this point, but you know, have
- 1:09Speaker 4: all the faith in the world that he's going to
- 1:11Speaker 4: kill it, and I hope it works out fro him.
- 1:13Speaker 2: He has been such a good bachelor. We're so excited
- 1:16Speaker 2: every week he's just shining. But of course our first
- 1:20Speaker 2: headline is because he always has to come with the
- 1:23Speaker 2: controversial headline making statement. Nick Yell our friend Nick Viyell
- 1:30Speaker 2: says he thinks that Joey is being too much of
- 1:35Speaker 2: a people pleaser and he's taking the easy way out
- 1:37Speaker 2: of things. Now, you actually told me on the other
- 1:40Speaker 2: episode that we recorded that you thought of yourself as
- 1:43Speaker 2: a people pleaser on the Bachelor.
- 1:46Speaker 4: How so okay, so interesting remarks from Nick. Obviously I
- 1:53Speaker 4: can't speak on it specifically with Joey, but I get it.
- 1:56Speaker 4: If that's what Joey's going through right now, if that's
- 1:59Speaker 4: how he's deciding to handle the show right now, I.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Totally get it.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I hope that he pulls out of that and doesn't
- 2:07Speaker 4: necessarily feel like he has to continue that route the
- 2:10Speaker 4: entire time, just because it will get exponentially harder if
- 2:13Speaker 4: he continues to do that. I wish looking back on
- 2:15Speaker 4: my experience, I just I wish I would have been
- 2:17Speaker 4: a lot more selfish. I wish I would have been
- 2:20Speaker 4: you know, I remember thinking when anyone showed up, you know,
- 2:23Speaker 4: when I met you know, all these thirty thirty plus women,
- 2:26Speaker 4: I was going to give each one of them my everything.
- 2:30Speaker 4: And even if, like in the beginning, I didn't feel
- 2:32Speaker 4: like a certain like hard, hard connection with them, because
- 2:34Speaker 4: everything they had sacrificed to be there and the time
- 2:36Speaker 4: they had taken out, I've just felt like I owed
- 2:38Speaker 4: it to them to really kind of still do a
- 2:40Speaker 4: little bit of a dive there and just be one
- 2:42Speaker 4: hundred hundred percent confident that, yeah, there isn't anything here
- 2:46Speaker 4: that wears on you when you're when you're when you're
- 2:48Speaker 4: doing a show for two months, you're doing that people
- 2:51Speaker 4: pleasing you know, persona act. I get it, because it's
- 2:54Speaker 4: you don't want to hurt people, you don't you're thinking
- 2:56Speaker 4: of everything you're thinking of, Okay, how is the public
- 2:57Speaker 4: going to react to this?
- 2:58Speaker 3: Like just just pure respect for.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Human beings, Like you can't you don't want to be
- 3:03Speaker 4: addicted to anybody and not I'm not ever. I'm not,
- 3:06Speaker 4: you know, advocating for any bachelor in the future to
- 3:09Speaker 4: be addicted to you know, the women on the season.
- 3:11Speaker 4: But what I am saying is you got to put
- 3:13Speaker 4: yourself first and make decisions in the moment that are
- 3:18Speaker 4: purely for you. It's you took on that role to
- 3:21Speaker 4: be the bacher, to go hopefully find a wife with that,
- 3:24Speaker 4: or going to come a hell of a lot of
- 3:25Speaker 4: uncomfortable conversations, a hell of a lot of uncomfortable moments,
- 3:28Speaker 4: awkward moments. Just embrace it and know it. You're not
- 3:31Speaker 4: gonna You're not gonna have it. Doesn't It doesn't matter
- 3:33Speaker 4: what way you play the show. You're not gonna have
- 3:36Speaker 4: everyone love you. You're not gonna have everyone agree with
- 3:39Speaker 4: your choices. That doesn't matter. If you're going on there
- 3:41Speaker 4: to find a wife, go on there with that intention
- 3:45Speaker 4: and let the cards fall as they may. But you
- 3:47Speaker 4: got to put yourself first in every aspect. Is truly
- 3:50Speaker 4: my opinion, Peter.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It's like you read the article without reading the article,
- 3:54Speaker 2: because the whole thing is about Nick saying that he
- 3:57Speaker 2: hasn't eliminated anybody outside of a Row ceremony. The two
- 4:01Speaker 2: on one not included. And he said this before this
- 4:04Speaker 2: past week's episode where he did eliminate Jess at a
- 4:07Speaker 2: group date, because beforehand he was like, he's playing too
- 4:11Speaker 2: much by the rules. It's it's way easier to let
- 4:14Speaker 2: somebody go at a rose ceremony than say, during a
- 4:16Speaker 2: group date or during a one on one, Like, hey,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm actually not feeling it. It's time for you to
- 4:21Speaker 2: get out of here. I wonder what Nick would say
- 4:24Speaker 2: now that he did, in like week five, episode six,
- 4:27Speaker 2: eliminate somebody during a group date, So maybe he doesn't
- 4:30Speaker 2: feel the same way anymore. But he said to me,
- 4:33Speaker 2: that's just Joey. The people please are kind of wanting
- 4:36Speaker 2: to be nice. He comes across as super nice. It
- 4:39Speaker 2: very much does, but it's less authentic. It's the easy
- 4:42Speaker 2: way out. I don't know that it's less authentic. I think,
- 4:45Speaker 2: as you were saying, it's maybe just harder on you
- 4:48Speaker 2: in the long run.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it makes it a hell of a lot harder. Again,
- 4:53Speaker 4: you play, it's like you play so many roles as
- 4:56Speaker 4: the Batchel, like you have so many hats on and again,
- 4:59Speaker 4: everyone focus is to find someone. But I I can see,
- 5:05Speaker 4: I can kind of see I guess maybe just the
- 5:07Speaker 4: limited time I met Joey. Joey really does seem just
- 5:10Speaker 4: like a good, good nature person, so sweet. Yeah, like
- 5:13Speaker 4: there's zero there's zero dick in like dick about him right,
- 5:16Speaker 4: Like he is not a bad person at all, just good,
- 5:18Speaker 4: good intentions and that kind of personality. It can be
- 5:23Speaker 4: tough in this environment to make it through two months
- 5:27Speaker 4: of again that kind of pressure cooker and that the
- 5:29Speaker 4: Bachelor is. It's tough, but it's funny. I saw what
- 5:33Speaker 4: I did see was his finale. They kind of like
- 5:36Speaker 4: had a similar opening. So I remember from my season
- 5:38Speaker 4: with like the end being the first thing that they showed,
- 5:41Speaker 4: and I like.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It kind of brought in.
- 5:44Speaker 4: It works, it works for sure, but I'm just like,
- 5:47Speaker 4: oh God, I just pray that he was not going
- 5:50Speaker 4: through similar stuff of what I was going through and
- 5:53Speaker 4: maybe they're trying to edit it that way, but yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 4: because that just that was tough. But yeah, I see
- 5:59Speaker 4: some similar already for sure between between Joy and myself.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Like a switcher ruie type thought you would do that,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Why would you know?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Decision idiots, You're not alone. We all know you're not alone.
- 6:18Speaker 2: You probably did it in the most mild way. Actually, Okay,
- 6:22Speaker 2: So another headline of NIX. So Caitlin Bristow she posted
- 6:28Speaker 2: some Well, she actually had a conversation on her podcast
- 6:31Speaker 2: with Stacy Schroeder a couple of weeks ago, and she
- 6:33Speaker 2: was saying that like at the end of a relationship.
- 6:35Speaker 2: We don't know what relationship it was, it could have
- 6:37Speaker 2: been a decade ago, but she said she was like
- 6:40Speaker 2: so out of touch with herself sexually that she felt
- 6:43Speaker 2: like asexual. And this made huge headlines and Bet and
- 6:48Speaker 2: I were like, is it really or she just like
- 6:51Speaker 2: not feeling the guy anymore? Right, And eventually Caitlyn learned
- 6:55Speaker 2: that she just wasn't feeling the guy anymore. But here's
- 6:58Speaker 2: the headline for this week. That is kind of juicy.
- 7:02Speaker 2: So Jason posted a picture on Instagram and it was
- 7:05Speaker 2: really just because you know, he was a good It
- 7:07Speaker 2: was a good picture of him. He was shirtless looking great.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Really, Tan, I've always loved, I respect the hell out
- 7:14Speaker 4: of Jason. Like I always thought I was like the
- 7:16Speaker 4: least I was probably the least in shape bacher that's
- 7:19Speaker 4: ever been on the show.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Like it just never had like the skull.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You could talk to Ben because he would say the
- 7:23Speaker 2: exact same thing about himself. You guys both look great.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Maybe you didn't have six packs, but like you still
- 7:28Speaker 2: look great.
- 7:29Speaker 3: The definition wasn't quite there. But I love like Jason.
- 7:33Speaker 4: You see the guy and he does it so modestly,
- 7:34Speaker 4: like guys shreded like a spartan god, and you just
- 7:37Speaker 4: you almost forget about it. I just I respect that,
- 7:40Speaker 4: you know.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Because he doesn't like really show it off a lot.
- 7:42Speaker 2: He doesn't like flawn that because like he kind of
- 7:43Speaker 2: flaunts his brain more and his business out me and
- 7:46Speaker 2: just being like a stand up guy. So anyway, he
- 7:50Speaker 2: captions the the photo little summer throwback on this cold
- 7:54Speaker 2: winter Wednesday. A changing of seasons can't come soon enough.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You know. He wanted to us a hot pick of
- 8:00Speaker 2: himself all good and then he and then Nick writes
- 8:05Speaker 2: underneath it nothing asexual about this, oh God, and then
- 8:12Speaker 2: Caitlyn retaliates by saying, like on Instagram good morning, or
- 8:17Speaker 2: like hello Hawaii to everybody except those who use like
- 8:22Speaker 2: use my words for clicks, I'm i'm i'm oh no
- 8:26Speaker 2: aloha to everyone except for people who make fun of
- 8:29Speaker 2: my sexuality for likes having a libido expert on my
- 8:33Speaker 2: pod soon. Okay, all right, what's your take, sassiness say,
- 8:39Speaker 2: so let me follow this. So Caitlyn, it's really between
- 8:43Speaker 2: Caitlyn and Nick.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Now it's had nothing to do with Kaitlyn and was
- 8:47Speaker 4: saying she was just over the relationship and like sexually
- 8:49Speaker 4: had kind of like fizzled out.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Well, no, it was Caitlin who was saying that. It
- 8:54Speaker 2: was like should she she herself felt a sexual She
- 8:58Speaker 2: was just talking was just stas he's not part of
- 9:01Speaker 2: the equation.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Okay, you know, it's like this is not the best
- 9:06Speaker 4: thing to admit, but I really haven't ever been in
- 9:09Speaker 4: a long enough relationship and maybe it's just not possible
- 9:12Speaker 4: for me. I think, I you know, I'm a passionate person,
- 9:15Speaker 4: as I would put it right, like, I have never
- 9:18Speaker 4: gotten to a point in a relationship where I've kind
- 9:20Speaker 4: of like lost that desire for not that you lose
- 9:23Speaker 4: the desire for a partner, but where it kind of
- 9:24Speaker 4: like really settles down and it's not as powerful, maybe
- 9:28Speaker 4: as as it once was.
- 9:29Speaker 3: So Kate again, so just so I.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Follow Caitlyn is acting like she had lost it with
- 9:33Speaker 4: Jason before the end of the relationship.
- 9:34Speaker 2: We don't know there was Jason. Don't put any words
- 9:37Speaker 2: in her mouth any one, but Nick is all of
- 9:40Speaker 2: a sudden like making it seem like it was directed
- 9:43Speaker 2: towards Jason.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Towards Jason.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I just don't get the I've never been the kind
- 9:48Speaker 4: of like the low blow type person. Why do yeah
- 9:51Speaker 4: like at that the relationship. I don't know how long
- 9:53Speaker 4: they've been broken up now for, but just I'm all
- 9:56Speaker 4: about six months that's it.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, I don't know.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I've always been someone you try to move on like
- 10:02Speaker 4: I would personally never.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Listen.
- 10:05Speaker 4: I think Kat was probably benefiting from some clicks as
- 10:08Speaker 4: well by coming on, and she knows that she's doing
- 10:10Speaker 4: so I think it's all kind of like strategic in
- 10:12Speaker 4: a way. I don't think one person or one side
- 10:15Speaker 4: is only to blame, but I don't know.
- 10:17Speaker 3: That's not my take.
- 10:18Speaker 2: It's my take is Nick and Caitlin, even though they
- 10:22Speaker 2: have been very cordial with each other in the past,
- 10:25Speaker 2: they still gotta throw fire at each other. Eight years
- 10:29Speaker 2: after that season.
- 10:30Speaker 3: They just can't let it go.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Huh. But really it's Nick was the instigator here for sure.
- 10:35Speaker 2: For sure. In another Nick aheadline, will just bruize whatever
- 10:39Speaker 2: this one. He is doing a new show with Patti Stanger,
- 10:42Speaker 2: a matchmaking series on REDW. Yeah, so I gotta pick
- 10:47Speaker 2: his brain about how this is going to go because
- 10:49Speaker 2: I was on Patti Stanger's like Celebrity Millionaire Matchmaker and
- 10:53Speaker 2: it was quite the experience. I will say it was
- 10:58Speaker 2: not a positive one. So I can't wait to hear.
- 11:01Speaker 3: When did you do that?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Years ago? It was before my second season of Paradise gotch.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I've been on two shows. Yeah, let's throw out two
- 11:20Speaker 2: headlines of our own right now. I just announced today
- 11:23Speaker 2: at Amazon Live that our second child, who is due
- 11:27Speaker 2: in July, is a boy, and that means we'll be
- 11:31Speaker 2: having two We will have two boys, and we are
- 11:34Speaker 2: overwhelmed with the thought. But I know that you and
- 11:36Speaker 2: your brother, you know you're the two boys for your mom. Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 2: what advice? What I want to know is, how is
- 11:46Speaker 2: how can I make these brothers as close as possible?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Because you're really tight with your brother right, extremely close? Yes? Yes,
- 11:54Speaker 2: and I love that and I want that. Like do
- 11:56Speaker 2: you guys talk on the phone regularly, like multiple times
- 11:59Speaker 2: a week?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Good, that's what I want.
- 12:02Speaker 4: We Well, first, off. Congrats, that's awesome news. Super super
- 12:05Speaker 4: happy for you guys. Maybe you'll have some Patriots players
- 12:08Speaker 4: in the making and Makejered very happy.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Dawson has quite the arm. I'm not just saying that
- 12:13Speaker 2: because I'm his mom. It's impressive.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Okay, I get and started young. Now that's that's super exciting.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Did you guys do a reveal, like a special baby reveal?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Well, we got the text from my midwife like I
- 12:25Speaker 2: have the gender, like do you want it? And we
- 12:27Speaker 2: were in Disney World and my sister was there and
- 12:30Speaker 2: she's just like, well, just do something because the first
- 12:33Speaker 2: time we did it, I didn't want any sort of
- 12:35Speaker 2: gender reveal. So this time we literally just had the
- 12:38Speaker 2: the hotel make cupcakes and they're you know, we've been
- 12:41Speaker 2: into his classic.
- 12:43Speaker 4: You're on Space Mountain, We're having a boy.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we weren gonna do something at like the castle,
- 12:49Speaker 2: but then it wasistically.
- 12:53Speaker 3: To do that. Yeah, no, I I yeah, I appreciate
- 12:57Speaker 3: those words.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Have been extremely close to my brothers, you know, one
- 13:00Speaker 4: of my most treasured relationships that I have in life.
- 13:04Speaker 4: We just we grew up literally just do eating everything together,
- 13:09Speaker 4: and you know, from a very early age, we were
- 13:12Speaker 4: just we. I think my mom kind of just got
- 13:15Speaker 4: lucky with us too. But we just got along well.
- 13:17Speaker 4: We were best friends. It was almost to the point
- 13:20Speaker 4: where my brother would sometimes get annoy because I'd always
- 13:23Speaker 4: want to hang out with him and his friends. And
- 13:25Speaker 4: then he sometimes thought that I was still in his
- 13:27Speaker 4: friends and would like try to get some space.
- 13:29Speaker 2: My sister and I always shared friends, like all our
- 13:31Speaker 2: best friends were together.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, my brother would say different.
- 13:36Speaker 4: He would say that I like was taking his friends away,
- 13:38Speaker 4: but I just I just enjoyed hanging out.
- 13:41Speaker 3: With him and his friends.
- 13:42Speaker 4: And yeah, I mean we literally had that dynamic though
- 13:46Speaker 4: all the way through. Like I'm probably later than most people,
- 13:49Speaker 4: Like I lived at hometil I was twenty nine, right,
- 13:50Speaker 4: So not saying that, you know, you guys are gonna
- 13:52Speaker 4: have them at home until you're twenty nine, but it
- 13:54Speaker 4: was just yeah, really just organic, just great relationship. Like
- 13:59Speaker 4: I said, we were just always always together. You know,
- 14:02Speaker 4: my dad, he would be gone a lot on trips,
- 14:05Speaker 4: uh for work, and so it was my mom and
- 14:07Speaker 4: the two of us and my grandmother when she lived
- 14:09Speaker 4: with us, and we never felt like truth like, we
- 14:13Speaker 4: never felt like there was ever any favorites, like we'd
- 14:16Speaker 4: always you know, hassle our mom, like you know, I'm
- 14:18Speaker 4: your favorite. I'm like, it was never any of that,
- 14:20Speaker 4: Like it was just equal love shown both ways.
- 14:25Speaker 3: A lot of just great family trips growing up.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Like my parents did a really good job of like
- 14:30Speaker 4: just making really cool core memories, especially like in the
- 14:33Speaker 4: in the whole flying theme with you know, airplanes and
- 14:35Speaker 4: in the whole career aspect. I actually just wrote an
- 14:39Speaker 4: article from Alpa Airline Pilots Association. They had a they're
- 14:42Speaker 4: doing a little segment on family and aviation and and
- 14:45Speaker 4: why that means so much to my family. And it
- 14:47Speaker 4: was really cool just to go back down memory lane
- 14:50Speaker 4: and just write about a lot of stories of my
- 14:52Speaker 4: brother and I as little kids, you know, going on
- 14:54Speaker 4: trips with my dad or going in the cockpit and
- 14:57Speaker 4: you know, just having really cool It's really cool that
- 14:59Speaker 4: my brother and we both followed in the same footsteps
- 15:01Speaker 4: of my dad, right, so we're both pilots, and so
- 15:03Speaker 4: we you know, try to find similar passions to just
- 15:06Speaker 4: promote with them growing up. And yeah, you're gonna see
- 15:11Speaker 4: I think that. I mean, you know this, every every
- 15:13Speaker 4: sibling has their strengths and their and their weaknesses, and
- 15:17Speaker 4: it was kind of cool for my brother and I,
- 15:18Speaker 4: like we always helped each other in each other's weaknesses
- 15:22Speaker 4: and all the way up until like, like I literally
- 15:24Speaker 4: was the reason that my brother got into u c
- 15:26Speaker 4: l A. Like I wrote his his college like admission
- 15:29Speaker 4: letter because he I'm.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Pretty sure I get the same with my sister. Really, Okay,
- 15:35Speaker 2: get it, I've been the better writer, but she's creative
- 15:39Speaker 2: plenty of other strengths.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah, now, my brother kicked my ass, Like he applied
- 15:43Speaker 4: mathematics major at UCLA, and I've always been more creative
- 15:47Speaker 4: in English side and all that, and so like he'd
- 15:49Speaker 4: helped me out with stuff, you know, being younger than
- 15:51Speaker 4: me in high school and this guy and you know,
- 15:53Speaker 4: this kid was helping with math problems and all that.
- 15:55Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm excited. It's the bond.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Between between two really really close brothers is again I'm
- 16:03Speaker 4: sure it's very similar with sisters, but it's just it's
- 16:05Speaker 4: one of the most beautiful gifts in life that I
- 16:08Speaker 4: have ever been able to receive, and I cherish it
- 16:10Speaker 4: so much, and I really hope that you guys experienced
- 16:12Speaker 4: that with your sons.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Thank you. Yeah, not to stereotype. But I do feel
- 16:16Speaker 2: like I kind of wanted maybe like two of the
- 16:19Speaker 2: same sex, just because that, in my experience, seems to
- 16:23Speaker 2: be like the closer bonds sibling bonds.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Sure, yeah, I get that. I think it'd be cool
- 16:29Speaker 4: too to have. I've always thought be awesome have twins.
- 16:32Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm a twins guy.
- 16:34Speaker 2: See, I would be a twins person. If it was
- 16:36Speaker 2: the first, then I would be like, Okay, I'm done.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'd never have to be forget again. That'd be awesome.
- 16:40Speaker 2: But if you have twins on the second, then that
- 16:43Speaker 2: would be like, Hey, what's what's your age gap to
- 16:48Speaker 2: the two of you?
- 16:49Speaker 3: Or three and a half years, which I think is
- 16:51Speaker 3: a great, great gap.
- 16:52Speaker 2: There'll be two and a half years. I'm two and
- 16:54Speaker 2: a half years. That's but that, like span is it
- 16:56Speaker 2: is a good one. All right, Well then I'm gonna
- 16:59Speaker 2: make you have a headline. Now this Ellie Smith girl
- 17:03Speaker 2: on your Instagram who you are part of your new
- 17:05Speaker 2: music video? Girlfriend or just a friend?
- 17:10Speaker 3: Now? Ellie was single?
- 17:12Speaker 4: Put it out there, Okay, not a girlfriend. Ellie was
- 17:15Speaker 4: my very first friend in New York City when I
- 17:17Speaker 4: moved to New York.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Her mom and I are her mom and my mom.
- 17:23Speaker 4: They grew up together, and so I was connected with
- 17:26Speaker 4: her because I didn't know anybody in moving out to
- 17:27Speaker 4: New York.
- 17:28Speaker 3: So she was my.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Very first friend. I remember Dustin had been out visiting
- 17:33Speaker 4: and Ellie we were all out getting drinks. We'd come back.
- 17:35Speaker 4: We're hanging out my apartment, just having some drinks. There's
- 17:38Speaker 4: no furniture in the apartment.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Just like.
- 17:40Speaker 4: She's an incredibly talented singer. Just wait till you guys
- 17:43Speaker 4: hear this music video. I'm really really stoked for her
- 17:44Speaker 4: because she's coming out with her first album. She's done Broadway,
- 17:47Speaker 4: She's done a ton of stuff, but just one of
- 17:50Speaker 4: the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. So yeah, first
- 17:53Speaker 4: friend in New York. We stayed very close, and she
- 17:55Speaker 4: asked me to be in her music video.
- 17:57Speaker 3: With her, and I was like, never done it music video.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Let's do it.
- 18:01Speaker 2: And it's a romantic music video. That's why people are
- 18:03Speaker 2: buzzing on Instagram when you release the pictures.
- 18:07Speaker 4: It is romantic. It's it's actually there's a twist in
- 18:10Speaker 4: the song. It's it's kind of it's about a it's
- 18:12Speaker 4: the whole song, I think she said. She wrote it
- 18:14Speaker 4: in like forty five minutes, but it was inspired by
- 18:18Speaker 4: a breakup, and so it's shown all the good stuff
- 18:21Speaker 4: and the good parts of relationship, but then there's twists
- 18:23Speaker 4: in there and ultimately ends, you know, it's kind of
- 18:25Speaker 4: on empowering her and all the strength that she feels
- 18:29Speaker 4: moving on from that relationship and the love that she
- 18:31Speaker 4: has for herself. But yeah, it was it was fun
- 18:34Speaker 4: to film. It was very fun to film.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Nice and look look at you up being on musical.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You were also on stage at the was it?
- 18:42Speaker 3: Was it?
- 18:43Speaker 2: The beautiful? Was it Beautiful?
- 18:44Speaker 3: A Beautiful Noise? The Neil Diamond Musical. Yeah, you guys
- 18:48Speaker 3: haven't seen it.
- 18:49Speaker 2: No, I haven't seen it. My mom loves Neil Diamond.
- 18:51Speaker 2: So eventually we'll have to go see it in a
- 18:53Speaker 2: big Broadway girl and seeing Sweete Todd next week, and
- 18:55Speaker 2: I am so excited.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Yes, oh with sett and fast Sun Foster. Yes, that's
- 19:01Speaker 4: gonna be incredible.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I know, I'm so excited. So all right, well we
- 19:06Speaker 2: have time for one more headline and Peter, I gotta
- 19:09Speaker 2: know your take on this. Jesse Palmer is changing up
- 19:12Speaker 2: the bachelor thing. Go to over twenty years in so
- 19:16Speaker 2: this week, not only it was as actually the week,
- 19:20Speaker 2: it was like a week and a half ago. Instead
- 19:24Speaker 2: of saying take a moment and say your goodbyes, he said,
- 19:27Speaker 2: take as much time as you need, and when you're ready,
- 19:31Speaker 2: say your goodbyes. Now, his explanation for this was that
- 19:35Speaker 2: he was looking at a Duena and Allison, knowing that
- 19:38Speaker 2: they were the girls leaving, and he just said that
- 19:40Speaker 2: there was so much tension and emotion on their faces
- 19:43Speaker 2: that he wanted to offer them the courtesy to take
- 19:46Speaker 2: as much time as they needed.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I like that. I have no problems with that.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I actually I think I saw an excerpt of that
- 19:53Speaker 4: was he doing like a funny thing in the pool
- 19:55Speaker 4: where he was going over different lines.
- 19:56Speaker 2: He did another one that's another part of this article.
- 20:00Speaker 2: It says that he also said, why do we even
- 20:03Speaker 2: say this is the final rose tonight because it's so
- 20:06Speaker 2: obvious there's just some un a rose left on the table.
- 20:09Speaker 2: So is that the next line he's going to acts?
- 20:12Speaker 4: Look at I like this. I am about this Jesse taking.
- 20:16Speaker 4: You know, he's now been the host for a couple
- 20:18Speaker 4: of seasons, so he feels like he has the seniority
- 20:21Speaker 4: now and the experience as a host to you know,
- 20:25Speaker 4: give his own personal take. I think that only helps
- 20:28Speaker 4: the show. I hope he continues to kind of do
- 20:29Speaker 4: stuff and maybe it almost you know, inspires the show itself,
- 20:32Speaker 4: whether it's you know, in production type themes or or
- 20:35Speaker 4: way they film the show to switch it up.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I don't I don't think changes you know is bad.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Obviously it's always going to follow the same format of
- 20:42Speaker 4: what the show has always been. But yeah, I'm all
- 20:45Speaker 4: about kind of personalizing it a little bit. And I've
- 20:49Speaker 4: been I've been a Jesse fan ever since he became
- 20:51Speaker 4: the host.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I think he's he's been.
- 20:53Speaker 4: He was probably the perfect choice in that moment when
- 20:56Speaker 4: you had to make a you know.
- 20:58Speaker 3: A quick decision. So yeah, I support that.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Those lines truly were Harrison's lines. Of Harrison changed them up,
- 21:05Speaker 2: then we'd probably be like, where's our familiarity, But with
- 21:09Speaker 2: Jesse changing him up, it's like, Okay, well, you weren't
- 21:12Speaker 2: the person that quote came up with it, so I
- 21:14Speaker 2: guess not as big of a deal. All right, Well,
- 21:16Speaker 2: thank you so much Peter for joining us. This was
- 21:19Speaker 2: really fun and we are going to do a whole
- 21:21Speaker 2: other episode with you, and it's all about your experience
- 21:24Speaker 2: on The Traders, so stay tuned for that. He's a
- 21:27Speaker 2: big hit on the show, y'all. Until that time, I've
- 21:31Speaker 2: been Ashley.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I've been Peter.
