- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with i R Radio. Hello, everybody, Welcome to the Almost
- 0:07Speaker 1: Famous Podcast. Our first episode in the off season, which
- 0:13Speaker 1: is not a long off season, it's very short off season,
- 0:16Speaker 1: but it is an off season. Nonetheless, What's up Ashley?
- 0:20Speaker 1: The Bachelor franchise has made it that we haven't had
- 0:24Speaker 1: an off season pretty much a whole year. Is this
- 0:27Speaker 1: going to be a thing? No, it's not a thing,
- 0:30Speaker 1: you know, according to spoiler size. Um, we are going
- 0:34Speaker 1: to go back to regularly scheduled programming for a while,
- 0:38Speaker 1: which I think is a good decision. Okay, so it's like,
- 0:43Speaker 1: we'll have a Bachelorette season after Clayton season. It will
- 0:47Speaker 1: air sometime when like when can we do? So we're
- 0:51Speaker 1: gonna break here. Um, But I mean, I feel like
- 0:55Speaker 1: the viewers have really like if you're a fan of
- 0:58Speaker 1: the show and you're like, I'm not miss send an episode,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I'm not gonna, like ever not be around for one.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I want to know what's going on. Holy cow, you have.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I mean, I would love to do the math on
- 1:09Speaker 1: how many hours you spent watching The Bachelor in the
- 1:12Speaker 1: last eighteen months. Well, I want to know how many
- 1:15Speaker 1: of you, We're like, I'm taking a break. I can't.
- 1:18Speaker 1: It's not exciting anymore. I would think, actually, if I
- 1:22Speaker 1: were to guess, it's gonna be a lot of me guessing,
- 1:25Speaker 1: a lot of me making things up. I'm gonna make
- 1:26Speaker 1: this up. I'm assuming that people tuned in for Michelle's
- 1:30Speaker 1: season and they're going to take Clayton's season off. But
- 1:35Speaker 1: it's also the wintertime, which usually means that people watch
- 1:39Speaker 1: more TV because it's cold outside and it gets dark earlier.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So I could be wrong, but I just I think,
- 1:45Speaker 1: like people really excited for Michelle. I think people are
- 1:48Speaker 1: gonna get excited for Clayton. I think they're starting to.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I think the show has done a good job at
- 1:52Speaker 1: kind of creating some excitement around it. But I just
- 1:56Speaker 1: have a feeling that people are going to be kind
- 1:58Speaker 1: of like over watching the show just for a bit.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We will see it. I mean, I think it's gonna
- 2:06Speaker 1: have to do with Clayton not having much of a
- 2:08Speaker 1: storyline going off of Michelle season. But um, let's let's
- 2:12Speaker 1: get into the most exciting part that we've seen thus far,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and that is Clayton's women. I believe that these girls
- 2:19Speaker 1: are gonna be carrying the show. Um. They are creating
- 2:24Speaker 1: pretty good promos around them. It feels like pretty good,
- 2:28Speaker 1: old fashioned bachelor promos. UM. I was a little bit
- 2:31Speaker 1: worried watching Katie and Michelle's promos because I was like,
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't know if they have I don't I don't
- 2:39Speaker 1: know if there's going to be like actually substantial drama.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But I think these girls are going to bring it.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And Ben and I are going to go down the list.
- 2:46Speaker 1: He's going to make his prediction as to what kind
- 2:49Speaker 1: of character these girls are going to be. What, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: what their backstory is. He's going to do his like
- 2:55Speaker 1: assumption thing, and I am just going to give you
- 2:58Speaker 1: some fun facts on them. Ashley is going to be
- 3:00Speaker 1: the truth teller. I'm just gonna go off and make
- 3:04Speaker 1: up stories. We'll see where it takes us. But feel
- 3:07Speaker 1: free to follow along with the list as we go.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Makes it more fun. You come up with your stories
- 3:13Speaker 1: to please share them with us. But Ashley, I haven't
- 3:18Speaker 1: looked the list yet, so these are my first reactions.
- 3:21Speaker 1: My initial reactions should be right off the cuff. I
- 3:25Speaker 1: just pulled the list up in front of me, so
- 3:27Speaker 1: let's get going, all right, Um, we will be using
- 3:30Speaker 1: Bachelor nation dot COM's list the meet the women appearing
- 3:35Speaker 1: on Clayton's season of the Bachelor list. So go ahead,
- 3:38Speaker 1: pull that up. Do Do Do Do, Do Do, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: we'll be right back after this break. And we're back,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and we are starting with the first lay on this list. Cassidy.
- 4:02Speaker 1: She's from l A. There's always so many from l A.
- 4:07Speaker 1: She's twenty six, she's an executive recruiter, Ben, what are
- 4:12Speaker 1: your predictions? She cries a lot. The girl is a crier.
- 4:17Speaker 1: She is uh sweet. She wants to be an actress
- 4:22Speaker 1: and as a result, now she's fallen fell into the
- 4:28Speaker 1: bachelor world and she is a crier because she wants
- 4:31Speaker 1: this so bad. Cassidy's fun facts in clue that she
- 4:36Speaker 1: doesn't like clubs because she hates waiting in lines. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: hate clubs because they're squishy and they're loud and I
- 4:44Speaker 1: can't talk in them and it's just me. Cassidy has
- 4:47Speaker 1: matching a matching tattoo with her mom, and she's a
- 4:50Speaker 1: pro at driving a stick shift. Claire is up next.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And why does Claire look so familiar? Am I wrong? No?
- 5:01Speaker 1: She she's like a mix between Becca Tilly, and she
- 5:06Speaker 1: looks like that one girl from I don't remember what
- 5:08Speaker 1: season she was from. She was from I think already season.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I don't remember her name though. Okay, well that doesn't
- 5:18Speaker 1: do as much good. But um, here's the deal. Clear
- 5:24Speaker 1: looks at the stars for your future in life. She
- 5:28Speaker 1: is big into astrology. Just your assumptions, by the way, guys.
- 5:34Speaker 1: And it looks like she's wearing some type of blood
- 5:38Speaker 1: vial around her neck in this picture, which I'm assuming
- 5:43Speaker 1: is from a past relative. Oh okay, we're getting real
- 5:47Speaker 1: creepy deep on this. She's from Virginia Beach's twenty. She's
- 5:51Speaker 1: a spray tanner, and her fun facts include she doesn't
- 5:54Speaker 1: like people who don't wear deodorant. That's probably because she's
- 5:56Speaker 1: a spray tanner and gets really up close and personal.
- 5:59Speaker 1: She loves a ray dressing with her buffalo wings. I mean,
- 6:02Speaker 1: is that really an interesting fact about you? Don't we all?
- 6:04Speaker 1: And she loves how to lose a guy in ten
- 6:07Speaker 1: days again. Oh my goodness. Okay, this one is a
- 6:14Speaker 1: standout because like, what is she doing on the Bachelor? Sorry?
- 6:18Speaker 1: I know really smart people including you and I Ben
- 6:21Speaker 1: Pecking on the Bachelor, but Daria, who is from Baldwin,
- 6:25Speaker 1: New York, is twenty four years old. Is a law
- 6:28Speaker 1: student that was admitted to seven Ivy League schools, ended
- 6:34Speaker 1: up getting her Harvard degree and now she's at Yale
- 6:38Speaker 1: Law School. Holy cal does Yoe Law school? Let you
- 6:41Speaker 1: take some time off to go on the Bachelor. She's
- 6:44Speaker 1: gonna take a Sylvester off. Um. She's the wise voice
- 6:49Speaker 1: in the house. She stays at a drama. She's really confused.
- 6:54Speaker 1: She's going to be the facial expression girl because her
- 6:58Speaker 1: whole world is about to get turned up side down.
- 7:00Speaker 1: She's just a dealing with really smart people and that
- 7:03Speaker 1: there are smart people who on the show. But the
- 7:06Speaker 1: drama starts, words start getting spread and she just gets confused. Okay, okay,
- 7:12Speaker 1: I can I can go with that. Her other fun
- 7:15Speaker 1: facts included she idolizes a mall clooney because she's a
- 7:19Speaker 1: She's a true ally for women. She hates sushi and
- 7:22Speaker 1: wants to write a children's book one day. I mean,
- 7:27Speaker 1: come on, she's she's all that and a bag of chips.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I mean, she's got it going on all right. Next
- 7:35Speaker 1: up is Eliza, who comes from Germany Berlin. She's twenty
- 7:39Speaker 1: five and a marketing marketing manager. So Liza does this.
- 7:46Speaker 1: She follows Jessica Clark's skincare team every evening because her
- 7:51Speaker 1: skin is flawless, her teeth are as white as white
- 7:55Speaker 1: can be. She's glowing during whatever her photo shoot. This
- 8:01Speaker 1: is like, this makes no sense to me how somebody
- 8:03Speaker 1: can look so put together during a bachelor photo shoot. Wait,
- 8:06Speaker 1: these are the best photos they've ever taken. Probably it
- 8:08Speaker 1: looks like Win like a little bit of fan blowing
- 8:11Speaker 1: him during this photo. And her hair is flipping up
- 8:14Speaker 1: perfectly in the background. Why she smiles and gazes off
- 8:17Speaker 1: into the distance. Here's a Liza's story. Aliza is there
- 8:20Speaker 1: to the final four, alright, alright. She also loves food festivals,
- 8:26Speaker 1: going to the movies by herself, and loves of visiting
- 8:30Speaker 1: family in Switzerland with a vacation. Often, um, go into
- 8:35Speaker 1: the movies by yourself? Have you done it? Oh? Yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna Yeah. I eat out by myself and I
- 8:40Speaker 1: go to the movies by myself. I mean, not as
- 8:42Speaker 1: much anymore, because if I just told Jessey I'm going
- 8:44Speaker 1: to the movies and see you later, she'd be like, oh,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I want to go, but uh yeah, for years in
- 8:50Speaker 1: my life, I did that. Yeah, I've done at a
- 8:53Speaker 1: time or two. Jared definitely has done it a lot,
- 8:55Speaker 1: like like you all right. Next up is a is
- 9:00Speaker 1: a Bith. She's thirty two. She's from Highland Ranch, Colorado,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and she's a real estate advisor. Um well, I was
- 9:10Speaker 1: gonna say she's probably dated a friend of mine and
- 9:14Speaker 1: I don't really. I mean she's from Highlands Ranch. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 1: she's like right in the age group. So I was
- 9:20Speaker 1: gonna say, I've never met her. I don't think in person,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I don't know anything about her. She is in touch
- 9:26Speaker 1: with nature. In fact, she is. She's going to be
- 9:29Speaker 1: the one that talked to the raccoon. Uh, not not
- 9:33Speaker 1: of anything crazy, she just really it's the only thing
- 9:35Speaker 1: she can find find to confide in. And she needs
- 9:38Speaker 1: some nature around her, especially girl from Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I mean she's used to the mountains. She she needs
- 9:44Speaker 1: the mountains. She needs that breath of fresh air, and
- 9:47Speaker 1: she's gonna have a hard time finding it during this
- 9:49Speaker 1: season because she will be living with so many women
- 9:53Speaker 1: in bump beds. Her fun facts include she speaks a
- 10:00Speaker 1: dozen languages. How fluent are you in them? The bathroom yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I mean, come on, that's insane. I've never heard of anything.
- 10:10Speaker 1: If that's true, we better see that on the season. Yes,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I want full blown different personalities with each language. Elizabeth
- 10:19Speaker 1: loves petting cute dogs. I mean, come on, yeah, I know,
- 10:25Speaker 1: but who who doesn't like petting cute dogs? And then
- 10:30Speaker 1: tattoos are not her thing? Next up, we have n C.
- 10:35Speaker 1: She is from Bourbank, California. She's twenty eight years old.
- 10:38Speaker 1: She's a sales manager. Ben, what do you think She's
- 10:43Speaker 1: got some cool French and blue tips in this picture?
- 10:46Speaker 1: That is true? I mean yeah, here's here's what she does.
- 10:51Speaker 1: She is my plotties and strugg I do plot. If
- 10:54Speaker 1: you've ever wondered why I can touch my toes so easily,
- 10:56Speaker 1: well there's a reason. Um I do ploates. And she's
- 10:59Speaker 1: the Plotties instructor that like subs in that you've never
- 11:02Speaker 1: met before. And she walks like, oh, she's gonna be
- 11:04Speaker 1: nice and sweet coach me through it. And she puts
- 11:07Speaker 1: on that microphrone and she just dominates the room. I mean,
- 11:11Speaker 1: she's making me hold an air squad for three minutes.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She's yelling at me that I'm weak as I do
- 11:18Speaker 1: it and then we walk out of the room and
- 11:19Speaker 1: she's like, hey, I hope you have a good day.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That could make sense because she loves dance, dance revolution.
- 11:28Speaker 1: She has taught English to North Korean defectors when she
- 11:32Speaker 1: studied abroad, and she would love more opportunities to dress
- 11:36Speaker 1: in costume. I couldn't agree more. Gabby is next, and
- 11:40Speaker 1: Gabby is from Denver, Colorado. Maybe you have friends who
- 11:43Speaker 1: have dated her because she's thirty and she's an icy
- 11:46Speaker 1: you nurse, Well, I'm partial to anybody towards anybody that
- 11:53Speaker 1: lives in Denver. I mean, they've just got a good
- 11:55Speaker 1: heart on them. They're incredible people. Uh. She cares deep
- 12:00Speaker 1: lee about the girls around her. She's the one at
- 12:03Speaker 1: some point that there's gonna be drama in the house
- 12:05Speaker 1: and she just stands up and she goes, hey, we
- 12:08Speaker 1: need to take a break. Let's all go for a
- 12:10Speaker 1: walk and hold hands while to do it. That's the
- 12:11Speaker 1: type of girl she has because Denverse taught her well
- 12:14Speaker 1: all right, Well, she's terrified of humpback whales, but would
- 12:18Speaker 1: love to see one for from Afar in person. She
- 12:22Speaker 1: likes to write cards and stomping grapes. In Italy is
- 12:26Speaker 1: the top of her bucket list. The next step we
- 12:29Speaker 1: have Genevieve. She is from l A. She's a twenty
- 12:33Speaker 1: six year old bartender and Ben, what do you think
- 12:38Speaker 1: about her? Well, she has the same eyelash thing going
- 12:42Speaker 1: on as Mattie Pruitt, where you like clump them together
- 12:44Speaker 1: and you you pull them out. You know, I'm talking
- 12:47Speaker 1: about what's that called? Well, I mean she's got long
- 12:51Speaker 1: lashes and they're a little spidery, but it's okay, they
- 12:54Speaker 1: look pretty. I think that was like a thing that,
- 12:56Speaker 1: like Maddie set that trend. I remember that happening. Uh
- 13:00Speaker 1: know what. She She's been in a couple of movies
- 13:02Speaker 1: that you'll never see. Um. She she she'll be the
- 13:06Speaker 1: person that's like the background me like two or three
- 13:09Speaker 1: speaking roles in like a Harold and Kumar film. The
- 13:14Speaker 1: Bachelor is going to be a great launching point for her.
- 13:16Speaker 1: In fact, I think she's around a long time because
- 13:19Speaker 1: she is sweet, she's driven just things interacting career hasn't
- 13:23Speaker 1: worked out for but as a result, she has a
- 13:25Speaker 1: little edge to her. She's a mix, I would say
- 13:28Speaker 1: between Maddie Pruitt and Vanessa Grimaldi, like Oh, I see
- 13:33Speaker 1: way more Vanessa in personality and face. He actually looks
- 13:38Speaker 1: a lot like Vanessa. Alright, Well, she doesn't like public speaking,
- 13:42Speaker 1: she loves going fishing, and says that Haley and Justin
- 13:45Speaker 1: Bieber are her relationship goals. Yeah again, who's aren't they.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I find Jessica looking at Justin Bieber and Haley pictures
- 13:54Speaker 1: all the time. Really, that's so funny. That's my sister,
- 13:57Speaker 1: that she's there her couple and she looks at Haley
- 14:01Speaker 1: all day long on Instagram. But that's ironic because Haley
- 14:05Speaker 1: is the next girl that is on our list. She
- 14:08Speaker 1: is from Orlando, Florida. She's twenty six and a pediatric nurse. Yeah,
- 14:12Speaker 1: she's really shy. She gets walked all over during this season.
- 14:17Speaker 1: In fact, she's really sweet. She doesn't want to cause
- 14:20Speaker 1: any drama. She she just walks into a room and
- 14:24Speaker 1: there's a fight going on, and somehow she gets dragged
- 14:27Speaker 1: into it and she doesn't know what to do. In fact,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we're gonna see she's gonna be the narrator of the
- 14:31Speaker 1: season because her tears and her emotions are going to
- 14:35Speaker 1: be so involved in everybody there. Okay, I feel that
- 14:40Speaker 1: Haley dreams of hanging out with elephants in Thailand. She's
- 14:44Speaker 1: not afraid to go skinny dipping, and she's Taylor Swift's
- 14:48Speaker 1: biggest fan. I think you have some competition with that title,
- 14:50Speaker 1: but we love a girl who likes Taylor. Next step
- 14:55Speaker 1: we go ahead. Are people scared of dipping? Is there
- 14:57Speaker 1: like a is there something fearful associated with it? I
- 15:02Speaker 1: have never and yeah, I would say that I don't
- 15:05Speaker 1: have a desire. I'm like a little a little scared
- 15:08Speaker 1: of it, Like is it the whatever is underneath the
- 15:11Speaker 1: water or is it getting caught? Like what's the fear
- 15:13Speaker 1: come from? I think somebody seeing you that you're not with,
- 15:18Speaker 1: Like I would obviously only go sky skinny diving right
- 15:21Speaker 1: now with Jared, and I would be just terrified that
- 15:25Speaker 1: somebody was going to show up and I'd have to
- 15:27Speaker 1: get out and be naked in front of somebody. Okay,
- 15:31Speaker 1: fair enough. I feel like Ben is the guy in
- 15:33Speaker 1: the Ben's the long guy in the locker room. He
- 15:36Speaker 1: just locks around totally. Oh yeah, oh yeah, we've all
- 15:39Speaker 1: got it. Come on, we were born this way, Jared
- 15:42Speaker 1: I are both so discreet. Yeah, we're born this way.
- 15:46Speaker 1: So funny. Okay, Hunter is next. She is from Charlotte,
- 15:50Speaker 1: North Carolina. She's twenty eight and a human resources specialist.
- 15:55Speaker 1: She's a Disney princess looking for her her prince Charming,
- 15:58Speaker 1: so says her bio. She she looks just like Jenevieve.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I mean like they could be very like. They definitely
- 16:04Speaker 1: could be sisters. They look similar, Yeah, very similar. Um.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So she wants to be a Disney princess, which means
- 16:13Speaker 1: her fashion sense, We're gonna be out of this world
- 16:16Speaker 1: this season. I don't. I think she's gonna be a
- 16:20Speaker 1: fan favorite. In fact, I would put my first impression
- 16:24Speaker 1: Rose on her. However, Um, she doesn't last very long
- 16:31Speaker 1: because they don't connect. She doesn't connect with Clayton. That's
- 16:34Speaker 1: the story I'm gonna make up in my mind. She
- 16:35Speaker 1: doesn't connect with Clayton, but Clayton is sad to see
- 16:39Speaker 1: her go hm. Well, she's a huge foodie, so if
- 16:44Speaker 1: he's not, it's not gonna work out. Her favorite book
- 16:48Speaker 1: is A Walk to Remember, I gotta say, is one
- 16:50Speaker 1: of the one of the rare times where the movie
- 16:52Speaker 1: is way better than the book. And she would love
- 16:55Speaker 1: to be one of Justin Bieber's One Less Lonely Girl,
- 16:59Speaker 1: except for the fact that he's married, and she would
- 17:02Speaker 1: also love to have an Australian accent. Next up, we
- 17:05Speaker 1: have a Vana. She's from Queens, New York. She is
- 17:10Speaker 1: thirty one, and this is a very interesting occupation. She's
- 17:14Speaker 1: a bar Mitzvah dancer. She dances an That's what I
- 17:19Speaker 1: was gonna say. She looks she's somebody that dances at
- 17:23Speaker 1: Part's exactly what I was gonna say. I was gonna say,
- 17:27Speaker 1: this looks like a good time. She looks like somebody
- 17:29Speaker 1: that you're gonna walk into a room with and everybody
- 17:32Speaker 1: has a better time because she's a part of it.
- 17:34Speaker 1: In fact, that's going to be your storyline this season,
- 17:36Speaker 1: on every group date, on every outing, She's going to
- 17:39Speaker 1: be the one that like brings joy to the room
- 17:42Speaker 1: with her smile and with her dance skills. This is interesting.
- 17:46Speaker 1: She loves to spend her time clubbing. I mean, man,
- 17:50Speaker 1: we couldn't be more different. Um club Like, Yeah, you
- 17:56Speaker 1: want to give me anxiety, tell me I'm going to
- 17:58Speaker 1: a club for a couple of nights. Thankes that I
- 18:02Speaker 1: was embedding nine last night. I turned off my TV
- 18:06Speaker 1: and went to sleep and it was fantastic. Oh I
- 18:10Speaker 1: have so much anxiety about it. Um. She also loves
- 18:14Speaker 1: the idea of dancing naked in the rain and ending
- 18:18Speaker 1: that night cuddling after her man washes her hair. WHOA,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't Actually, I'm speechless. I mean, I'm they're almost
- 18:30Speaker 1: imagery in my mind. Was just way too much for
- 18:32Speaker 1: this moment. I just had to stop talking. There's so
- 18:36Speaker 1: much here. Okay, and those weren't even her fun facts
- 18:38Speaker 1: as were in her bio, but I had to highlight them.
- 18:41Speaker 1: She takes herself out to a new restaurant every weekend,
- 18:44Speaker 1: which is kind of cool. Um. She prefers this is
- 18:48Speaker 1: a cookie lady. She preforms. She prefers indoor trees, indoor trees,
- 18:57Speaker 1: indoor trees like a like a crisp fake Christmas tree.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Are we're talking like trees planted inside. We're talking like sculents,
- 19:07Speaker 1: like little Actually, I don't take back what I said earlier.
- 19:10Speaker 1: She's gonna be a good time like. I don't know
- 19:12Speaker 1: how this now is going to play out, But I
- 19:14Speaker 1: like her. I like her a lot. I want to
- 19:17Speaker 1: get to know more cookie things. She also works as
- 19:19Speaker 1: a hand model from time to time. Next up, we
- 19:23Speaker 1: have Jane. She is thirty three years old from l
- 19:28Speaker 1: A Lots of l A Girls social media director. Jade
- 19:34Speaker 1: has eyes that will stare into your soul. I mean
- 19:38Speaker 1: that Jade's eyes are just piercing me right now. Maybe
- 19:42Speaker 1: because I'm like blushing and feeling awkward after the last
- 19:45Speaker 1: conversation we just had. But uh, you know what I
- 19:49Speaker 1: like Jade. I like her energy. Here's where, here's Where're
- 19:53Speaker 1: gonna throw it off and you correct me if I'm wrong, Ashley.
- 19:58Speaker 1: The the ear piercings, I don't know will be Clayton style.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Like coming from the Midwest, we aren't used to four
- 20:06Speaker 1: or five ear rings in an ear. It's just it's
- 20:10Speaker 1: if we were back in the Midwest, people would say
- 20:12Speaker 1: that would be and we'd be having an edge. We'd
- 20:15Speaker 1: have an edge about us. When I got my tattoo,
- 20:17Speaker 1: they said, oh, you're getting edgy, and it's like, well,
- 20:19Speaker 1: it's a Bible verse, so we're not going that far.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But yeah, like she might she might be too edgy
- 20:25Speaker 1: for Clayton. Okay, Okay, I guess I can see that
- 20:29Speaker 1: being a coast thing. Her fun facts include dreams of
- 20:35Speaker 1: a life filled with unlimited kombucha. If that's not the
- 20:40Speaker 1: most l a thing I've ever heard. I don't know
- 20:43Speaker 1: what is. My dreams include, um me, being able to
- 20:49Speaker 1: eat like McDonald's and having an unlimited calorie supply. She's
- 20:54Speaker 1: also terrified of tall cliffs and prefers glamping over camping.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So she just doesn't like heights. Like like you say
- 21:04Speaker 1: tall cliffs, but you're like, you just don't like heights. Clips, Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 1: do you go on roller coasters? Maybe she goes on
- 21:10Speaker 1: roller coasters. Maybe she likes being attached to things because
- 21:13Speaker 1: tall cliffs are way scarier than tall roller closers. Maybe
- 21:18Speaker 1: maybe I will say this, the amount of jewelry she's
- 21:22Speaker 1: wearing in this picture gives me anxiety. I will say
- 21:25Speaker 1: that there's I've just counted ten different rings on a finger,
- 21:29Speaker 1: four different bracelets, four different pieces. I mean, if she
- 21:32Speaker 1: wakes up every day and puts that on, I'm not
- 21:36Speaker 1: only impressed, but I'm anxious. I had to get my
- 21:39Speaker 1: ring tattooed on my finger just so I would remember
- 21:41Speaker 1: putting on. It's true, alright, Jill. She's from Rhode Island, Situate,
- 21:47Speaker 1: Rhode Island. I've met her a time or two now,
- 21:50Speaker 1: she's twenty six. She's an architectural historian. You've met her,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I have. She's come to Audrey's twice. Uh. Well, does
- 22:02Speaker 1: she like generous coffee? She does? Okay, I like this girl.
- 22:07Speaker 1: She's a gym of a human. She shines bright, she
- 22:10Speaker 1: has good taste in everything. Um, she's a Rhode Island girl.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And we know how Rhode Islands favored on the Bachelor
- 22:18Speaker 1: Bachelor at they end up becoming stars like are very
- 22:21Speaker 1: own Ashley Kennettie, so, well you're Virginia, but you know ish,
- 22:26Speaker 1: you know you found your way to to Rhode Island. Somehouse.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Jared he was the number four here. You know he
- 22:31Speaker 1: was a real star here. He is a star. Well, uh,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you know what. She she's really in depth. She has
- 22:39Speaker 1: great questions. I don't believe she makes it too far.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think she's around that long, mostly
- 22:46Speaker 1: because her desire to get to know Clayton so much
- 22:50Speaker 1: ends up being uh building a gap between them because
- 22:55Speaker 1: he's more interested in the girls he's kissing. From the
- 22:57Speaker 1: previews that we've seen, Okay, okay. Fun facts include she
- 23:03Speaker 1: knows how to identify baby pine trees as being male
- 23:08Speaker 1: or female. We did not talk about this in her life,
- 23:11Speaker 1: nor did we talk about her Twilight obsession as a teen.
- 23:16Speaker 1: We got a bond over that, and petting a wombat
- 23:19Speaker 1: is at the top of Jill's bucket list. Who is
- 23:23Speaker 1: it all? Right? Next up we have Kate. Kate is
- 23:28Speaker 1: from Lake Hollywood, California, another l A girl, thirty two,
- 23:32Speaker 1: real estate agent. You know Kate. Kate took a good
- 23:35Speaker 1: picture here. I will say this, this seems to be
- 23:38Speaker 1: this is a realtor picture. She knows how to take
- 23:40Speaker 1: her head shot. As I was gonna say, this is
- 23:42Speaker 1: a realtory picture. She knows how to do it. This
- 23:44Speaker 1: looks like something is going to come her Instagram profile
- 23:47Speaker 1: here in about two months. Ah. I am interested to
- 23:52Speaker 1: see what she does during the season because from this
- 23:56Speaker 1: picture you would say, oh, she's gonna be around a while,
- 24:01Speaker 1: mostly because of the confidence in her smile, in her eyes. However,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I think she causes some drama. I think she's feisty.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I think she's got a little edge to her that
- 24:12Speaker 1: doesn't come out in this photo. I'm only going to
- 24:17Speaker 1: be reading one fun fact because it's the only one
- 24:20Speaker 1: that matters. Kate once went dramatic pause on a date
- 24:29Speaker 1: with Wait, why did you pause at the beginning of that,
- 24:32Speaker 1: Why don't you just go case Kate wants to went
- 24:34Speaker 1: on a date and then pause because I want to
- 24:37Speaker 1: pause multiple times to really build it up. Okay, Kate
- 24:40Speaker 1: once went on a date with Harry Styles? No way,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I mean, what do you believe more she wanted to
- 24:49Speaker 1: date with Harry Styles, or that the girl speaks twelve
- 24:52Speaker 1: different languages. I believe she went on a date with
- 24:57Speaker 1: Harry Styles. But like that means that, like she he
- 25:00Speaker 1: got asked out by Harry Styles. Like it wasn't like
- 25:03Speaker 1: they flirted at a party. She went on a date
- 25:05Speaker 1: with him, And this is like so odd. Normally things
- 25:13Speaker 1: like this you keep to yourself, and like you cherish
- 25:16Speaker 1: those things, right, you make it. You're like, Wow, that
- 25:19Speaker 1: was the coolest thing in the entire world. I'm actually
- 25:23Speaker 1: not even I'm not even going to tell the world
- 25:25Speaker 1: because that would make me less cool, right, That's what
- 25:29Speaker 1: I think. But she says if you ask her for details,
- 25:33Speaker 1: she'll tell you all about it. So um, producers, please
- 25:37Speaker 1: book Kate as the first person we get from the show.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Here's my here's my theory. She's beautiful. I'm not saying
- 25:45Speaker 1: she couldn't be asked out by Harry Styles. She wanted
- 25:48Speaker 1: in some charity auction. It was like one of those
- 25:51Speaker 1: type of dates. H that would be a twist and
- 25:56Speaker 1: that would give her the window to like talk about
- 25:58Speaker 1: it without being like something that she's being too showy about.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And I'm going to go ahead and guests. She's thirty two,
- 26:06Speaker 1: Harry Is. I think this probably happened when they were younger.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I think this is probably a one direction type of date.
- 26:18Speaker 1: But we'll see. We'll see, because we're going to talk
- 26:20Speaker 1: to her one day. Next up, we have Kira. Kira
- 26:24Speaker 1: is from Philly. She's thirty two, and she is a physician. Yeah,
- 26:30Speaker 1: she got her bachelor's degree from Harvard, her m b
- 26:34Speaker 1: a from Penn, and then her medical degree from you
- 26:39Speaker 1: UNC Chapel Hill. I mean, where are they finding these girls?
- 26:44Speaker 1: I mean this is impressive stuff. This is this is
- 26:46Speaker 1: a resume and a half. Can we just say that, like,
- 26:49Speaker 1: girls definitely want to be on this show more than
- 26:52Speaker 1: guys want to be I feel like the guys, they're like,
- 26:57Speaker 1: there's so many guys are just like throwaway man right
- 27:00Speaker 1: now here on the on the Bachelor, on the Bachelor,
- 27:04Speaker 1: there are so many women who are just like so
- 27:06Speaker 1: impressive that want to be on this show. It's just
- 27:09Speaker 1: like a fight to get on the show. But guys,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I feel like they need to. The producers are a
- 27:14Speaker 1: begging for him. I mean, so far, every single picture
- 27:18Speaker 1: we've seen and every single bio we've read makes me go,
- 27:21Speaker 1: this will be a great partner for somebody. Traditionally, as
- 27:25Speaker 1: we read the bios and the Bachelor, at half of
- 27:27Speaker 1: them like there's no way, like these guys aren't ready,
- 27:31Speaker 1: Like come on now, they're just this joke. These I mean,
- 27:35Speaker 1: these are great. These are are some great women. I'm
- 27:38Speaker 1: very impressed with this season. I mean, if anything, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: gonna be intrigued just by watching these women function. Well,
- 27:45Speaker 1: if I know anything about Philly, Philly has got some grit.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Philly's tough. Uh, Philly is outspoken. They know how to communicate,
- 27:54Speaker 1: and they know how to walk through life and and
- 27:57Speaker 1: not this is gonna come off bad, but I don't
- 27:59Speaker 1: mean to get what they want, Like they go after
- 28:01Speaker 1: the things they desire, and I believe She's has that
- 28:05Speaker 1: in her. She's gonna go after things she's desires. She's
- 28:07Speaker 1: not gonna anybody step in her way. She's gonna shine
- 28:11Speaker 1: because she's sweet, but she's not gonna stop going after
- 28:15Speaker 1: Clayton if she ends up being into Clayton. And I
- 28:18Speaker 1: think she's gonna be I think she's gonna be into
- 28:20Speaker 1: who he is as a man. All right, Well, she
- 28:24Speaker 1: wants a man to look at her the way that
- 28:27Speaker 1: she looks at French fries and nachos. So I like her.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She has two cats, and she taught herself to write
- 28:34Speaker 1: hieroglyphics as a child. Of course she did. Next up,
- 28:39Speaker 1: we have a Lindsay d She's twenty seven from Jacksonville, Florida,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and she's a neo natal nurse. She's also a former
- 28:47Speaker 1: pageant queen. Because the way she's holding her hand here
- 28:49Speaker 1: makes me think she's taking a picture once or twice.
- 28:52Speaker 1: At what point did they say, hey, just take your
- 28:55Speaker 1: hand and lightly put it under your chin. Be natural.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You know that's what they always say to her, Be natural.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And she goes, okay, let me just take my hand
- 29:04Speaker 1: and just lightly touch my God, did you read the
- 29:08Speaker 1: bio down yet? It says this beauty queen one America
- 29:17Speaker 1: at the age of seventeen. Oh, I knew it. There's
- 29:21Speaker 1: there's only one. There's only one type of person that
- 29:23Speaker 1: just lightly puts their hand underneath their chin and supports
- 29:27Speaker 1: their neck in such a you know, delicate way. And
- 29:30Speaker 1: that's a that's a beauty queen. That is so funny.
- 29:33Speaker 1: She has a daughter, She loves taco about, she loves
- 29:37Speaker 1: Hallmark Christmas movies and taking naps and hammocks. Next step
- 29:42Speaker 1: we have at Lindsay W. She's from Houston, Texas. She's
- 29:46Speaker 1: eight and she's an industrials industrial sales rap. Oh boy,
- 29:52Speaker 1: where is she from? Texas? Houston? You know, I'm getting
- 30:00Speaker 1: distracted by the shirt quite frankly here. Um, very like it,
- 30:04Speaker 1: very strange. It looks like a pucker top from two thousand,
- 30:07Speaker 1: but it might be fashion. I don't know. I'm I'm
- 30:10Speaker 1: always behind the times on these, but I I would
- 30:16Speaker 1: say that she is not going to be around a while.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Not because she's not beautiful, not because she's not sweet, um,
- 30:23Speaker 1: but because she's too quiet. She's a really quiet human. Um.
- 30:28Speaker 1: She doesn't know how to take charge in the big
- 30:32Speaker 1: group conversations and it's all she kind of gets left behind.
- 30:36Speaker 1: That would be my just from seeing this picture and
- 30:38Speaker 1: seeing the top. Um, I think she's just a shy,
- 30:42Speaker 1: a shy girl and that's okay, just doesn't work on
- 30:45Speaker 1: this show. Well that makes sense because she says she's
- 30:48Speaker 1: more of a baby spice and a sporty spice. She
- 30:51Speaker 1: can't sleep without him. I think that means that she's
- 30:55Speaker 1: a little bit more like, you know, innocent and girly, uh,
- 31:00Speaker 1: very feminine than a you know, than the sporty spice.
- 31:05Speaker 1: And then she can't sleep without a white noise machine.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And interpreted as you may, we could have fun with it,
- 31:12Speaker 1: she says she doesn't do clowns. Actually, I like her
- 31:19Speaker 1: a lot. I hope she's around a while because I
- 31:21Speaker 1: don't sleep without a white noise machine. I have one
- 31:24Speaker 1: on my phone. I just convinced my parents when I
- 31:27Speaker 1: was in Florida to put one on themselves because their
- 31:29Speaker 1: cat likes to wake up in the middle of the night.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And also, as you know, we went to this place
- 31:34Speaker 1: and Captiva, Florida. Many people listening will have been there.
- 31:37Speaker 1: It's called the Bubble Room. The bubble Room is full
- 31:40Speaker 1: of old toys and clowns. We walked in to get
- 31:43Speaker 1: a piece of cake and I had to walk out
- 31:45Speaker 1: because of just the amount of uncomfortableness I feel. I
- 31:50Speaker 1: and interpret this however you may. I don't do clowns either.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Neither do I. Uh. Next step, we have Mara, and
- 32:01Speaker 1: she's from Collingswood, New Jersey. She's thirty two. She's an entrepreneur.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I like how many girls we have in their early thirties.
- 32:09Speaker 1: It's gonna it's It's nice. Yeah, it really is. I
- 32:12Speaker 1: mean so far feeling like a flashback season, like you know,
- 32:17Speaker 1: five to eight years ago. Goodness, totally, like everyone is
- 32:24Speaker 1: twenty six to thirty three, which I think is the
- 32:28Speaker 1: perfect ade ranch for the cast of The Bachelor. Um,
- 32:31Speaker 1: we have not seen a lot of twenty two three,
- 32:35Speaker 1: and we've seen so many over the past five years.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I would agree this is this is good so far.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I like where we're going and and I like where
- 32:45Speaker 1: this is trending because I think many people were wanting
- 32:48Speaker 1: this to come back, but she she knows what she wants.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It's gonna come off a little hostile during this season.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Being from New Jersey. Uh, you know, you're outspoken, communicate
- 33:00Speaker 1: openly with your words, and you need some pushback at times.
- 33:04Speaker 1: You need people to converse with you. And but it's
- 33:07Speaker 1: gonna come off a little hostile. It's gonna rub people
- 33:09Speaker 1: the wrong way in these group settings. I think she's
- 33:12Speaker 1: going to be a storyline. I just don't believe it's
- 33:16Speaker 1: going to be a storyline past week four. You know,
- 33:19Speaker 1: they put New Jersey as my hometown because I was
- 33:22Speaker 1: convinced that they wanted me to have the Jersey girl rap.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Just side note. She was born in Puerto Rico. Her
- 33:30Speaker 1: family migrated to the U S when she was young,
- 33:33Speaker 1: and she's been spicing up the lives of everyone around
- 33:36Speaker 1: her since she loves to salsa dans. Snoring is a
- 33:40Speaker 1: deal breaker for her and as a Puerto Rican. Interesting,
- 33:44Speaker 1: she doesn't eat spicy food. Interesting a lot going on there. Well,
- 33:49Speaker 1: like I said, she's spicy. Spicy isn't always good in
- 33:52Speaker 1: group settings. Marlena is next. She's from Virginia Beach. She's thirty,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and she a former Olympian. Competed for Haiti at the
- 34:05Speaker 1: two thousand and twelve Summer Olympics in track and field.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Oh man, I hope there's not like one of those
- 34:10Speaker 1: like high school running races. I mean, I would just
- 34:13Speaker 1: be that's tough race against olympian. That's like, you know,
- 34:18Speaker 1: come on now, um, she's she's a sweetheart. She's been competitive,
- 34:23Speaker 1: she's a leader. She's a leader in the house. She
- 34:27Speaker 1: is openly joy Phil has a great laugh to her.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I think she's around a while. I don't think she's
- 34:37Speaker 1: a final four um, but I do think that the
- 34:41Speaker 1: girls in the house really like her, and I think
- 34:43Speaker 1: that's going to be sad to see her go. Her
- 34:45Speaker 1: fun facts beyond being an Olympian include that she had
- 34:48Speaker 1: a blonde mohawk in high school. Um, there was no
- 34:52Speaker 1: one in the world that can can convince her to
- 34:54Speaker 1: go bungee jumping. I wonder if the producers used this
- 34:57Speaker 1: and see if Clayton could be that one and that
- 35:00Speaker 1: will go bungee jumping with her. And she prefers to
- 35:03Speaker 1: travel so low and this visit over over fifteen countries
- 35:08Speaker 1: on her own terrible mistake by her rookie rookie rookie mistakes, mistake,
- 35:14Speaker 1: talk about your fears like that, Yeah, Marlena, come on,
- 35:17Speaker 1: you're better than that. You've prepped for the Olympics, you
- 35:20Speaker 1: can prep for the Bachelor. And you go and they say, hey,
- 35:23Speaker 1: what's your biggest fear? And I'm like, you know, eating
- 35:27Speaker 1: a mouse or something crazy like that, like something that
- 35:30Speaker 1: you know they're never gonna make you do. You don't
- 35:32Speaker 1: say what you're actually scared of, because you know exactly
- 35:35Speaker 1: what you're gonna be doing during the season. It's hilarious.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Molina is up next. She's from West Hollywood, California. She's
- 35:42Speaker 1: seven and is a personal trainer, our very first personal
- 35:46Speaker 1: trainer this season, which is a surprise. We usually get
- 35:49Speaker 1: quite a few personal trainers that jump on board here.
- 35:52Speaker 1: We might get a few more coming up. I don't know.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I haven't read through, but um, I want to say
- 35:59Speaker 1: she's a Final four I do. I just I think
- 36:03Speaker 1: she's interesting. I think she's intriguing, I think she's beautiful,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and so I just see her being somebody that captivates
- 36:14Speaker 1: Clayton's heart, one of the three women that captivate Clayton's
- 36:17Speaker 1: heart this season. Okay, um, something about her bio is
- 36:24Speaker 1: popping out at me. It must be talked about. She
- 36:28Speaker 1: eats exclusively from the hot bar at Air One. Air One,
- 36:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you know, is the most expensive
- 36:38Speaker 1: grocery store I've ever been to in my life. You
- 36:41Speaker 1: can get five items from Marijuan and it will be
- 36:45Speaker 1: sixty So where is she where? She must be a
- 36:50Speaker 1: very successful personal trainer because you've never you've you've never
- 36:57Speaker 1: seen the prices like this at a grocery store. This
- 37:00Speaker 1: makes me a little curious to her standards. It also
- 37:05Speaker 1: makes me concern for her during this season because the
- 37:10Speaker 1: quality of food, the the pizza pockets and the ham
- 37:15Speaker 1: sandwiches that are thrown in the in the fridge are
- 37:18Speaker 1: not exactly I've never been to air one air one material.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I'm assuming, well, at least at the at the house,
- 37:27Speaker 1: you can cook for yourself. This girl is going to
- 37:29Speaker 1: have a serious issue if she starts traveling and eats
- 37:33Speaker 1: the buffet food from traveling. I like the buffet food
- 37:36Speaker 1: from traveling. Good thing. She's also not going to one
- 37:39Speaker 1: of the locations to film because when we shot and
- 37:44Speaker 1: Ben and I can talk about this now, when you
- 37:48Speaker 1: the places that they've been staying at, these resorts like
- 37:50Speaker 1: the one that I was at a Palm Springs and
- 37:52Speaker 1: then and then the other one um in Mimic, the
- 37:57Speaker 1: food was horrends. Guys, Like, everyone talked about it. I
- 38:03Speaker 1: have a friend who's a producer who said that, like
- 38:06Speaker 1: she ended up just basically living off lace because she
- 38:08Speaker 1: couldn't eat the food anymore. Yeah, you'd have a hard
- 38:11Speaker 1: time when you travel because it's not like the buffets
- 38:14Speaker 1: are fine. The buffets when you're like a cast member
- 38:17Speaker 1: and you're going to like a hotel for the week
- 38:19Speaker 1: and another hotel for another week, those are good. Yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 1: but yeah, the the delivery food, the five choices that
- 38:25Speaker 1: you get every day for like four months are really
- 38:28Speaker 1: start to wear on you. Oh okay, Well anyway, besides that,
- 38:33Speaker 1: she when she dies, she wants to be buried in
- 38:36Speaker 1: cranberry sauce and stuffing, not not bad food choices. She
- 38:43Speaker 1: also loves being tucked in, which confession time, I like
- 38:47Speaker 1: being tucked into. Does Jared tuck you in? Um, it's
- 38:51Speaker 1: like what I'm feeling extra vulnerable, Like I like being
- 38:53Speaker 1: tucked in if I'm going to bed before Jared. And
- 38:56Speaker 1: then um, like it's only been a pregnancy thing. And
- 38:59Speaker 1: then like I like you, my mom talks me and
- 39:01Speaker 1: like basically she comes and says good night to me
- 39:03Speaker 1: in my room. Is that? Is this the weirdest thing?
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's not the weirdest You've always you know, it's not weird.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, no, it's not that weird. I'd say
- 39:13Speaker 1: it's different, it's unique. But I can see where you
- 39:17Speaker 1: would like it. It's not being tucked in like actually
- 39:20Speaker 1: physically with the comforter. It's like you're just coming to
- 39:23Speaker 1: say good night to me while I'm in bed. Yeah, okay. Um.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Rachel is next and she's from Clairemont, Florida. She's twenty five.
- 39:34Speaker 1: She's a flight instructor whoa okay, well, she likes to
- 39:41Speaker 1: take risks. She is going to push the envelope this
- 39:45Speaker 1: season for Clayton. She's gonna be the one encouraging him
- 39:48Speaker 1: to jump off the side of a cliff to fly
- 39:50Speaker 1: a plane to I don't know, the skydive whatever they're
- 39:54Speaker 1: gonna do. I think she's around a while because she's
- 39:59Speaker 1: such a change a pace for Clayton this season. I
- 40:02Speaker 1: do think she is the one that he'll say when
- 40:05Speaker 1: he goes to hometowns. She's been the one to push
- 40:07Speaker 1: me on my comfort zone, not only with conversation but
- 40:11Speaker 1: with life activities. Okay, she could live off flaming hot cheetos.
- 40:16Speaker 1: And she can't wait to read Harry Potter to her
- 40:18Speaker 1: kids one day. And that's really cute. That's really cute.
- 40:21Speaker 1: And Rihanna is next. She's from Dallas, Texas, and she
- 40:25Speaker 1: looks like she's from Dallas, Texas. She's twenty six and
- 40:28Speaker 1: she's a registered nurse. Like she has that Jessica Simpson.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Look um, Ben, what's was your theory? Huge personality, like
- 40:38Speaker 1: just so loud, so outspoken. She's not mean spirited, so
- 40:46Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be fine. But like she is,
- 40:49Speaker 1: she is acent Texas. And I know we've geographically stereotyped mostly,
- 40:56Speaker 1: but there is something be said about somebody from Texas.
- 40:59Speaker 1: You know they're from Texas because they'll tell you they're
- 41:02Speaker 1: from Texas. And she's gonna tell you she's from Texas.
- 41:06Speaker 1: She hates doing laundry. It. Actually, I know that we're
- 41:09Speaker 1: going like a little off the beaten path right now.
- 41:12Speaker 1: We keep having these sad conversations. But I don't understand
- 41:14Speaker 1: why laundry is such a big deal. Laundry is probably
- 41:17Speaker 1: my favorite chore. H No, you have anything to say
- 41:21Speaker 1: about that. I like, I'm a weirdo. I like cleaning bathrooms.
- 41:25Speaker 1: There's something satisfying to me to disinfect, to sterilize, to sweep,
- 41:31Speaker 1: to wash down a bathroom because it's such a sacred place.
- 41:36Speaker 1: It's a sacred place. Okay. She also is very competitive
- 41:42Speaker 1: when it comes to playing monopoly and loves to watch
- 41:45Speaker 1: naked and afraid. She does seem like a competitive girl.
- 41:49Speaker 1: All right, So we have Sally next. What was the
- 41:52Speaker 1: last time you heard a twenty six year old was
- 41:54Speaker 1: named Sally? Six years old from Charlottesville, virgin Her occupation,
- 42:01Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's this girl. It's this girl occupation
- 42:06Speaker 1: previously engaged. She is the girl that her accupation. No,
- 42:11Speaker 1: you know, they made it her occupation. She was engaged
- 42:15Speaker 1: and had a bachelorette party and a date on the calendar.
- 42:18Speaker 1: She was supposed to get married the September two thousand
- 42:23Speaker 1: twenty one that she started filming The Bachelor, and she
- 42:28Speaker 1: got accepted on the Bachelor, and then when on the
- 42:29Speaker 1: Bachelor and didn't get married. This is a true story.
- 42:31Speaker 1: This isn't like you coming up with something. No, this
- 42:35Speaker 1: is like the rumor, like she's this one where like
- 42:38Speaker 1: she was celebrating her bachelorette party in July, July or
- 42:43Speaker 1: August and then ended up on the Bachelor in September.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Oh no, My only my only story for her is
- 42:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, this isn't gonna go well for you. She's
- 42:55Speaker 1: gonna go so bad for you. Oh no, Wow, Well,
- 42:59Speaker 1: you know what, that marriage wouldn't have lasted anyway. So
- 43:04Speaker 1: I mean, I think all signs points. Are you being right? Yes?
- 43:07Speaker 1: I mean we don't have to come up with a
- 43:09Speaker 1: storyline for her because she just created My storyline is.
- 43:12Speaker 1: It's just not going to go good for her. This
- 43:13Speaker 1: is not going to be what she hopes it is.
- 43:17Speaker 1: It's gonna be the worst thing of her life. Poor girl,
- 43:20Speaker 1: But kind of I don't know. She also hates cotton balls,
- 43:23Speaker 1: can't be near them and not be near them, is
- 43:26Speaker 1: obsessed with hot tubs, and wants to own her own
- 43:29Speaker 1: clothing store. One day, Samantha is next She's a fiery
- 43:33Speaker 1: redhead from San Diego. Hold up real quick, Actually want
- 43:37Speaker 1: to hear a joke that I used to play when
- 43:39Speaker 1: I was in middle school. I used to call the
- 43:41Speaker 1: CVS and ask if they the person that answered if
- 43:45Speaker 1: they had cotton balls, and when they said yes, I
- 43:48Speaker 1: would go do they tickle when you walk? And then
- 43:50Speaker 1: hang up the phone. That was a joke, bade, do
- 43:56Speaker 1: you have cotton balls? Yeah? And they they when you walk?
- 44:02Speaker 1: They tickle when you walk. So that's that's what we
- 44:05Speaker 1: used to do. That's so funny. Oh, the days before caller,
- 44:11Speaker 1: I d yeah, that's funny. Okay. So then say Samantha
- 44:17Speaker 1: from San Diego twenty six, occupational therapist. Oh god, she
- 44:21Speaker 1: makes us nervous. Ben too. She likes going to E
- 44:24Speaker 1: d M festivals. Yeah, she'll dance on the table like
- 44:30Speaker 1: she'll she'll she'll be the one to get up there
- 44:32Speaker 1: and get the crowd going. She'll be at the dum
- 44:34Speaker 1: festival hands you know, raising the roof, making sure everybody's
- 44:38Speaker 1: having a good time. She's spunky, um, she's energetic, and
- 44:44Speaker 1: she's got way too much energy for Clayton, way too
- 44:48Speaker 1: much energy for Clayton. She has gone skydiving twelve times.
- 44:54Speaker 1: She she would love to own a dog sanctuary one day.
- 44:58Speaker 1: She loves her white wa one and playing a black jack.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Now we have Sarah, who is are one of our
- 45:04Speaker 1: younger girls three from New York, a wealth management advisor.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Can you really be a wealth management advisor at Oh yeah,
- 45:14Speaker 1: if if you're smart enough you can. I mean, definitely
- 45:18Speaker 1: good for her, that's a big job. Um. Actually, last
- 45:21Speaker 1: night side note, Essic and I were talking about if
- 45:23Speaker 1: I'd ever want to get into finance again. I was like, no,
- 45:26Speaker 1: it's too stressful. You got to manage everybody's wealth. Anyways.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Good for her, she's smart. My my question for you,
- 45:31Speaker 1: Actuley is how do they choose to do the close ups?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Like she has a very close up picture. I mean,
- 45:37Speaker 1: if she had anything in her teeth, if she had
- 45:39Speaker 1: any plaque, any anything whatsoever. It's showing up in this
- 45:43Speaker 1: picture where the other girls, you know, kind of a
- 45:45Speaker 1: little distance. Um, they said, hey, you know you're pretty enough,
- 45:49Speaker 1: let's just stick your face over the whole photo, like
- 45:51Speaker 1: as close as we can possibly make it. Um. You know,
- 45:57Speaker 1: with her, she is she's driven. We can tell that
- 46:02Speaker 1: by her occupation. We can tell that by her age
- 46:05Speaker 1: and occupation. She's driven. And she's gonna drive and strive
- 46:10Speaker 1: hard during this season. I think she's a part of
- 46:14Speaker 1: the drama, though I do I see it. I think
- 46:17Speaker 1: somebody like she's gonna get a couple of arguments, she's
- 46:20Speaker 1: gonna get feisty and uh and it's it's not gonna
- 46:24Speaker 1: go bad for her. She's not gonna be a villain,
- 46:27Speaker 1: but she's definitely gonna get mixed up once or twice
- 46:29Speaker 1: because she's outspoken. Feel that Sarah gets frustrated by slow walkers,
- 46:36Speaker 1: as do I feel your girl, and she thinks that
- 46:39Speaker 1: Wonder Woman is a badass. I mean, is that really
- 46:42Speaker 1: an opinion or is that more of like a fact?
- 46:46Speaker 1: Next up, we have Serene. She's twenty six from Oklahoma City.
- 46:51Speaker 1: She is a elementary school teacher. Okay, she's definitely my
- 46:56Speaker 1: top four. She is. Um, she's gonna like be a
- 47:03Speaker 1: fan favorite by far this season. In fact, I think
- 47:06Speaker 1: she's gonna be up there for the next batchelor at.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I say that because she's an elementary school teacher. We've
- 47:10Speaker 1: seen how that's played out during a season at Bachelor.
- 47:12Speaker 1: It goes really well. Um, they know how to manage
- 47:16Speaker 1: a big room, they know how to have individual conversations,
- 47:19Speaker 1: they know how the calm chaos. She this picture right
- 47:24Speaker 1: here looks like in New York but bestseller, best selling
- 47:26Speaker 1: author's picture like it does. It's on the back of
- 47:30Speaker 1: a big it's it's on the back of a best seller.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah it is, it is, And I think, like that's
- 47:35Speaker 1: gonna be her. She's gonna be a best seller. She's
- 47:36Speaker 1: gonna make people fall in love with her because she's
- 47:40Speaker 1: just that great. I really like her fun facts because
- 47:44Speaker 1: she loves theater. But only if it's musical theater. Yes,
- 47:48Speaker 1: get it. I mean I enjoy theater, but it's all
- 47:50Speaker 1: about the musicals. Pigs freak her out. Guinea pigs freak
- 47:54Speaker 1: here out. Okay, whatever, And she has a cat named
- 47:58Speaker 1: Leonardo dick hat Prio hees. Oh my goodness, I told
- 48:04Speaker 1: you she's already won our hearts. Okay. She looks like
- 48:11Speaker 1: Whitney Bischoff. She's twenty nine. She's from Sycamore, Ohio. She's
- 48:16Speaker 1: a recruiter. She looks like an A list celebrity. That's
- 48:20Speaker 1: what I think when I look at this picture. She
- 48:22Speaker 1: looks like an A list celebrity. Um, she looks like
- 48:25Speaker 1: she should have been born in nineteen fifty and been
- 48:28Speaker 1: like a cover model. Um do you see that? Look
- 48:33Speaker 1: like she just has that look to her. She's she
- 48:36Speaker 1: catches Clayton's eye. Um. She's definitely up there for me
- 48:40Speaker 1: on first impression roses, because she is going to make
- 48:43Speaker 1: a great first impression. I think she's around a long time.
- 48:46Speaker 1: I think she's great. In fact, i'd probably put her
- 48:48Speaker 1: up there if for somebody could be the next Bachelor
- 48:50Speaker 1: at but um, yeah, I think from this photo in general,
- 48:58Speaker 1: she's pretty well rounded and she's beautiful. Well, she loves
- 49:03Speaker 1: Christmas so much that she keeps her tree up all
- 49:07Speaker 1: year round. Yeah, that's like really Christmas or lazy because
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm in the process of taking down archree right now,
- 49:15Speaker 1: and it would be a lot nicer if we just
- 49:16Speaker 1: keep it up for New Year's Eve. No, I'm taking
- 49:19Speaker 1: down an ornaments, but I'm gonna leave up to Christmas
- 49:21Speaker 1: lights and Christmas tree. I was just doing it before
- 49:24Speaker 1: the podcast. I like to keep it up, probably into
- 49:28Speaker 1: like midway through that first week of January. Anyway. It
- 49:32Speaker 1: is always depressing and we never want to do it,
- 49:34Speaker 1: but I think it's something that should be done because
- 49:37Speaker 1: then you don't appreciate it come Christmas time, you know,
- 49:41Speaker 1: and like you need to have the feel. Yeah. Then,
- 49:46Speaker 1: and another another fun fact is um that she's not
- 49:49Speaker 1: interested in dating a man who performs magic. Wow, way
- 49:54Speaker 1: to be selective. It's like she doesn't like it and
- 49:59Speaker 1: guys pull out like a deck of cards and start
- 50:01Speaker 1: doing a trick. She's not interested in Chris Angel people. Yeah,
- 50:04Speaker 1: I'm very interested in magic. I get very amazed by
- 50:07Speaker 1: those card tricks me too. Sierra is next. She is
- 50:12Speaker 1: twenty six from Dallas, Texas. And she's a recruiting coordinator. Yeah.
- 50:18Speaker 1: I look at her and I get the Texas vibes
- 50:21Speaker 1: because of the denim shirt. Anybody can rock a denim
- 50:24Speaker 1: shirt like this. They've got They've got it going on.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Um my story with her is um. She is an
- 50:35Speaker 1: incredible question answer ask her. She's a great listener. Uh,
- 50:40Speaker 1: but she's also not afraid to share her opinion. I
- 50:45Speaker 1: get good vibes from her other than one thing. On
- 50:50Speaker 1: her picture. She didn't untuck her collar, so the details,
- 50:56Speaker 1: the details for her aren't there. She misses the details. Oh,
- 51:04Speaker 1: Ben is being ultra picky. She has a full denim
- 51:08Speaker 1: outfit on though. Come on, if you don't think this
- 51:10Speaker 1: girl is gonna make it a long time, look at
- 51:12Speaker 1: her outfit. She's she's there for a while. Okay, Well
- 51:18Speaker 1: she um her favorite flower is a black rose, So like,
- 51:23Speaker 1: that's really interesting going on the Bachelor and being into
- 51:25Speaker 1: black roses, which I've never heard of before, like dyed
- 51:29Speaker 1: black roses or is there such a thing as a
- 51:31Speaker 1: black rose? Sure look this up real quick. I'm sure
- 51:33Speaker 1: there's a thing of black rose. I have a Neil
- 51:35Speaker 1: diamond black rose bush and Neil diamond like the Yeah,
- 51:40Speaker 1: it's pink and white um and it takes pumps out
- 51:44Speaker 1: pink and white roses. There's all types rose. You just
- 51:47Speaker 1: gotta go to a nice store sometime, a nice nurseree
- 51:50Speaker 1: and look at the rose up selections. There's a ton
- 51:53Speaker 1: of them. Ashley, Well, I'm pretty darn sure that the
- 51:56Speaker 1: black roses are fake and they're dyed, and that's okay.
- 51:59Speaker 1: They're they're pretty awesome. She also loves scavenger hunts and
- 52:02Speaker 1: can't get enough of Korean food, including kimchi and rice.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Next we have Susie, another name I haven't heard on
- 52:10Speaker 1: a year old in a while. Lots of girls from
- 52:12Speaker 1: Virginia we have. I think we have a couple of
- 52:16Speaker 1: Virginia Beacher's a Charlottesville girl. This is also Virginia Beach
- 52:21Speaker 1: wedding videographer. Oh goodness. She was the star high school's
- 52:27Speaker 1: cheerleading team. That girl can cheer for people so well.
- 52:32Speaker 1: She is bubbly, she is cheerful, she is full of
- 52:37Speaker 1: happiness and joy. She is she is. I wouldn't be
- 52:44Speaker 1: surprised if her bias says she's an NFL cheerleader. Well
- 52:48Speaker 1: close enough. She won Miss Virginia. There you go, that's accomplishment.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Big Did you just won Miss Virginia? Were you? Were
- 52:58Speaker 1: you yup for that? Was I up for that? I
- 53:01Speaker 1: was married? You can't be married, and you also have
- 53:06Speaker 1: to be below a certain age. You have to be
- 53:08Speaker 1: like twenty six or below when you win, or maybe
- 53:12Speaker 1: it's twenty eight. I don't know, but I bet you
- 53:14Speaker 1: it's twenty six. Um. Anyway, she wants to be a
- 53:17Speaker 1: documentary filmmaker one day and she is a j suit. Oh.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I've never been able to say it. Choose it, Sue Champion.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Oh good for I've been around some of those people
- 53:30Speaker 1: because my my brother in law practices, and holy molly,
- 53:34Speaker 1: is that impressive. Oh yeah, it is difficult. They just
- 53:37Speaker 1: roll around on a mat and threw each other around
- 53:39Speaker 1: for like an hour, and it looks exhausting. It's really
- 53:43Speaker 1: up close and personal. Yeah, you have to be okay
- 53:47Speaker 1: with being up in someone's grill and like, I hope
- 53:50Speaker 1: you have good hygiene because you are sitting all over.
- 53:54Speaker 1: It's kind of I don't know. I think it's a
- 53:55Speaker 1: little bit. I couldn't do it. I'll just say I
- 53:57Speaker 1: can't do it. Teddy is next. She is one of
- 54:01Speaker 1: our younger girls. Twenty four from Highland, California, a surgical
- 54:05Speaker 1: unit nurse. Is that a do it scrunchy that she's wearing?
- 54:12Speaker 1: She'd be uh doing the right thing if that's what
- 54:14Speaker 1: it was. She loves her parents. She's going to talk
- 54:18Speaker 1: about her family a lot, which is a great thing.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I did the same thing. But it says it says
- 54:22Speaker 1: she grew up in a strict Christian household. Well, I'm
- 54:25Speaker 1: still gonna go with it. Uh, they've they've healed all
- 54:29Speaker 1: wounds if there are already. They love each other. She's
- 54:33Speaker 1: gonna talk about her parents and somehow, I guess I'll
- 54:35Speaker 1: say it this way, knowing that now her parents are
- 54:38Speaker 1: gonna be a big topic of conversation throughout this whole season. Okay, well,
- 54:44Speaker 1: guess what. She's not afraid to go for a late
- 54:47Speaker 1: night skinny dip. There, you girl get it. She could
- 54:52Speaker 1: eat pasta for every male, same same growing up, she
- 54:56Speaker 1: was terrified of ladybugs. And she loves massages. I mean,
- 55:00Speaker 1: who doesn't. And then we have Tessa. Tessa is from Stanford, Connecticut.
- 55:07Speaker 1: She's twenty six, and she's a human resources some specialist.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I guarantee the last girl on our list. I guarantee you.
- 55:14Speaker 1: This season, we hear her say I love love about
- 55:20Speaker 1: thirty times. She is the I love love girl, or
- 55:24Speaker 1: this is a great place to fall in love girls,
- 55:26Speaker 1: she is going to be She just looks like a
- 55:29Speaker 1: girl that loves to be loved and loves to live. Okay,
- 55:36Speaker 1: well that's funny that you say that. You guys, Ben
- 55:37Speaker 1: doesn't read the bios when he comes up with his theories,
- 55:41Speaker 1: and in this case this Tessa is such a romantic
- 55:46Speaker 1: that she's often accused of being cinematic, and she says
- 55:52Speaker 1: when asked about how she feels about love, she says, quote,
- 55:57Speaker 1: there's definitely a moment to be extra in romance. Is
- 56:00Speaker 1: it really not read that? I just I just look
- 56:05Speaker 1: at these pictures? No, And I say, you're just seeing
- 56:08Speaker 1: her eyes. She's she's a lover. This is a weird,
- 56:14Speaker 1: weird fun fact she has and I can't wait to
- 56:18Speaker 1: see them exploit it. She has a weird fear of
- 56:21Speaker 1: red fruits that includes apples, grapes, and raisins. Oh yeah,
- 56:27Speaker 1: that's gonna be bad. Nothing's gonna be nothing's gonna be
- 56:31Speaker 1: weirder when they're having like a what does that mean?
- 56:33Speaker 1: She's scared of red roses. Now it's not a fruit,
- 56:36Speaker 1: but it's a red something that grows plant. It's a plant.
- 56:39Speaker 1: It's a plant. Oh, I want an apple right now?
- 56:42Speaker 1: I want a Yeah, that's my favorite apple, Honey Crisp.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Oh my god. Okay, Well guys, that's it. Yeah, that's
- 56:50Speaker 1: all the girls for Clayton season of The Bachelor. None
- 56:54Speaker 1: of the stories I made up are probably true. They're
- 56:56Speaker 1: all all probably very far off, but I am pressed.
- 57:01Speaker 1: My first reaction is, Hey, there's some beautiful women here
- 57:04Speaker 1: with some incredible backgrounds who look like they're ready to
- 57:09Speaker 1: fall in love, and I'm excited to watch their journey
- 57:13Speaker 1: unfold during this season of the Bachelor. Well, Ashley, let's
- 57:17Speaker 1: take a break here. When we come back, we're gonna
- 57:19Speaker 1: talk to you. Yes, you about Bachelor headlines. You're the
- 57:23Speaker 1: best at it. We'll be back with almost from his podcast,
- 57:37Speaker 1: It's time for Bachelor Nation headlines. Ashley Liken Eddie is here,
- 57:41Speaker 1: uh to break them all down with us. There's a
- 57:43Speaker 1: big headline one that a lot of people got excited about.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I kind of got excited about it, quite honestly, because
- 57:48Speaker 1: I like them both as people a lot. I know
- 57:49Speaker 1: them both as humans and I'm excited to read this one.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Why Bachelor Nation is buzzing over Michael A's outing with
- 57:58Speaker 1: Amanda Clutes This according to E Yeah, okay, so we
- 58:03Speaker 1: know that she is widowed and he is a widower,
- 58:07Speaker 1: and they was they've been apparently talking for a while
- 58:12Speaker 1: now and they finally met up. They got dinner in
- 58:17Speaker 1: their home state of Ohio, and they posted a picture
- 58:22Speaker 1: about it just this week, says and then this is
- 58:26Speaker 1: what Amanda said, said, guess, um, guess who I'm out
- 58:30Speaker 1: on the town with. And then she took a picture
- 58:33Speaker 1: at this tavern with Michael, and she she shared the
- 58:38Speaker 1: picture and said, um, finally meeting this guy in person
- 58:43Speaker 1: after being Instagram friends with him for a year. Lots
- 58:48Speaker 1: of fried food, drinks, great chats and laughs. Um. Michael
- 58:56Speaker 1: ended up saying just two kids from Akron, Ohio. Um.
- 59:03Speaker 1: So then all the fans started like shipping this, you know,
- 59:05Speaker 1: because it's on paper, it kind of makes sense, you know. Um,
- 59:11Speaker 1: there are two people who understand each other on level
- 59:14Speaker 1: that a lot a lot of people can. UM. And
- 59:19Speaker 1: they say that they are so thankful that, you know,
- 59:23Speaker 1: they met each other and have been supports of each other. Um. Ben,
- 59:28Speaker 1: would you see this as a couple alert, I think
- 59:30Speaker 1: it is. I think it's gonna cause some some riffs
- 59:33Speaker 1: in batter Nation because I wasn't gonna be surprisedefs well,
- 59:37Speaker 1: no to risk, because I think he was going to
- 59:39Speaker 1: be a bachelor at some point. I think they were
- 59:41Speaker 1: kind of prepping him, I would imagine. And uh, and
- 59:45Speaker 1: but I like this couple a lot. I mean, I
- 59:47Speaker 1: don't even know if they are like they went on
- 59:49Speaker 1: a day they hung out right, but they just make
- 59:51Speaker 1: a lot of sense. They both have um incredible stories
- 59:56Speaker 1: of resilience, incredible stories of pain, uh that none of
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: us wish upon anybody, but they've made it through those
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and they've continued to be a loving, carrying UM force
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: in this world. So it's like, oh, this makes so
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: much sense to me. In fact, when I saw the picture,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I was like, this just looks awesome and I want
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it to happen, but I don't want to get too excited.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: They look very key together. And if you guys don't know, um,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: both of them had their spouses passed away in two
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: thousand nineteen, I guess um Nick who Nick cord Cordero.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: He was the Broadway actor who passed away from COVID.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: His wife ended up being on Dancing with the Stars
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: this past season, and um, yeah, so both of them
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: have lost spouses within I guess, like like you know,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: within the year of each other. So we'll see, um,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: what happens with this friend ship and how it evolves.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: What's next? I want to be mad about it. Well,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: we're gonna go down. There's only a few story this week,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: probably because the holiday season, so everybody was feeling non
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: dramatic and just just really happy. But we do have
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: to uh congratulate a former Bachelor at contestant. You may
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: remember him from his time on Caitlin Bristow's season of
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: The Bachelorette. He was controversial, uh to say the least.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: But J J. Lane is expecting his first child with
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: his wife Kayla. His first child with his wife Kayla.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: He does have um Jemma from a previous marriage. But
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: they did announce that they are they have a baby
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: on the way for the summer of Yes, congratulations you guys.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: We are so happy for them. They posted on Instagram
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that they won't be able to unwrap this present, you
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: know with the you know, the pointing to her belly
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: until July. Yeah, so very happy for them. They got married. Um. Wow,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: it's been almost two years. It's been it's been a bit. Well. Hey, Nate,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: who Michelle ended up with in the end of her season,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: calls out Mike Johnson for questioning his intentions on The
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Bachelor at this According to US Weekly, all right, this
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: is headline where I'm going to kind of direct you
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: guys to listen to it, because I think it's going
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to give you more clarity on the situation than the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: fact were to just go back and forth reading quotes
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: and trying to summarize the vibe, because there is hostility
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: here between Nate and Mike Johnson, like a lot of hostility.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: But when I read you the quotes, it may not
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: make perfect sense because I think a lot of it
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: is in tone. But here's the brief summary. Um. Mike
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Johnson tweeted out a couple of weeks ago that he
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: was watching Nate closely, as in he didn't really like
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: him or he was very weary of him. Um. And
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: then this tweet was brought up when Nate was on
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: their podcast last week, and basically it was like, why
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: would you say something like this, like you're watching like
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you're watching me. And then he was like, well, because
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: we all love Michelle and we want the best for Michelle,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: and look, Michelle's parents also didn't really like seem to
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: like you on the show. And then Nate said something
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: along the lines of, but like you've been part of
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: this process, I would think that you would know that
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: lots of things don't get aired and lots of things
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: don't go the way that it seems like it goes,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: and um, it basically just it just houstle throughout and
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: it's not as if they like made up on the
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: show like it. It kind of seems like it ends
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: with Nate being like not satisfied with Mike's response about
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: like caring about Michelle because like it is what it is.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I think somebody in your position would understand the environment. Um,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: it seems like it's be really interesting, but it's definitely
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: not something that I like feel like I could sum
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: up properly without you just listening to it. So through
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: the story is this there's hostility between Nate and Mike
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Johnson over Nate's intentions on the show and Mike Colon
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: before it. Yeah, so you gotta listen to get the whole.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: So basically, like he wins, and Mike's like, I don't
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: know if I if I feel like I trust you,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and then it's like, well, thanks, thanks, Holy moly, maybe
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it wasn't a quiet week. Well, the final headline of
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: this week people reading into something, but Bachelorette's Tasha Adams
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: likes x fiance Zack Clark's post but spends Christmas morning
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: alone one month after calling off engagement. People think that
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: they're on decent terms now because she liked a Christmas
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Eve post that Zach posted on Twitter. Um, people just
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: like to look into things basically, but they're no longer
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: a couple. And the picture that she liked showed him
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: at a Christmas Eve mass with a candlelight over a
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: book of hymns, and the caption read, um, all is calm,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: all is bright, Merry Christmas. I mean wow, people are
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: looking into this, Well, what are you gonna do? At
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: least hopefully they're on good terms. That's our hope. Well,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: there also hope is that you turn in next week
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: to our next episode of the Almost Same As podcast.

- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the Bachelor because it airs on the third, right on
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: the third. Let's go. We're back in it. This is
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: our one week off. I hope you enjoyed us breaking
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: down the cast. I hope you enjoy this next season
