- 0:00Yes. So the interesting thing about
- 0:03pelvic floor Physiology and the structures inside the pelvic
- 0:08cauldron. So we have 16 muscle groups
- 0:11inside the areal, 16 muscles in particular that are of
- 0:14significance. And when we go through trauma,
- 0:18and this has been well documented and researched, if we
- 0:21go through a trauma, our structural physiological
- 0:28relationship with our nervous system, changes in that tissue
- 0:33and the tissue Physiology will store the trauma in the form of
- 0:39either a more rigid or recalcitrant tissue type or even
- 0:45a tissue type that's gone to sleep.
- 0:48And when we actually, yeah. So it will absolutely change the
- 0:53Physiology of the what? You're saying about the Holy
- 0:57Spirit is that it is this, you know, maybe for some people who
- 1:02have never, ever come into this opportunity, understanding where
- 1:08they can get their discernment from, how they can heal
- 1:12themselves, how they can connect back in when something is really
- 1:19bad. So is the Holy Spirit a person?
- 1:24Some would say the Holy Spirit is a person.
- 1:27At the very least, it's a very intimate presence.
- 1:31And I think the way the Holy Spirit likes to operate is as a
- 1:36person in terms of this ability for us to have a very close
- 1:41relationship. So what often happens in a lot
- 1:44of spiritual teachings is there's an omnipresent creator,
- 1:48and sometimes that creator seems so far away from us and so
- 1:52inaccessible to us. And we are like, Oh my God, are
- 1:56you listening? You know, do you, do you hear
- 1:58me? I'm suffering.
- 2:01But the Holy Spirit is literally a friend in the closest intimate
- 2:08way who does not abandon you, even if you have to confess some
- 2:15of your darkest and deepest shames, Which is what I hear in
- 2:19my clinic all the time is shameful stories about pelvic
- 2:23health, sexual health, things that people have done and
- 2:25experienced that they might be thinking.
- 2:28I cannot tell another soul. I cannot actually experience the
- 2:32humiliation and shame of this. But I also don't feel I can
- 2:36connect well. The Holy Spirit is here to love
- 2:40us and not abandon us, no matter how broken, traumatized.
- 2:45Difficult no matter what. My name is Terry Messenger and I
- 2:50am hey, hey, hey, and welcome. Welcome to Terry Messenger's
- 2:59Genius Zone. And you know, this is the place
- 3:04in the space where you are going to get your own free master
- 3:10class. Absolutely free.
- 3:44None. Hello, hello, hello.
- 3:52Well, welcome to this week's Genius Zone and boy have we got
- 3:59a treat for you. Ladies.
- 4:02Have you ever wondered about your body and the way that it
- 4:09changes through menopause and the way that you may go into
- 4:15what you believe is a menopausal phase where suddenly your whole
- 4:21sexuality switches off? I know a lot of ladies have come
- 4:26to me about this. However, I have a woman who
- 4:31knows so deeply on this powerful and profound topic.
- 4:37She is not only a pelvic health coach for women's sexuality.
- 4:45Bringing that sexy back into menopause.
- 4:49She is a physiotherapist, she is an author, she is a keynote
- 4:54speaker. She is the woman that is about
- 4:59to really come up with some confronting subjects that you
- 5:05may have been hiding for a very long time.
- 5:10So she has brought that sexy back into people's
- 5:13relationships. She has been able to help women
- 5:17reclaim their sensuality and divine connection.
- 5:23And guess what? She has a supernatural ability
- 5:29to help you to tap into your supernatural power through the
- 5:35Holy Spirit. So with no further ado, I bring
- 5:39on the wonderful, the brave, and the incredible Lisa Fitzpatrick.
- 5:45How are you today, Lisa? I'm really excited.
- 5:49Thanks, Terry. That is so good because I am
- 5:53too. So we are about to broach a
- 5:56very, very brave subject because a lot of women don't want to
- 6:01talk about this. This is kind of like swept under
- 6:05the carpet. But let's start from the very
- 6:08beginning, OK? Because along the lines here, we
- 6:13are going to bring into it one of the divine spiritual, you
- 6:19know, aspects that you know very well about and I know very well
- 6:23about too. And that is like the secret
- 6:26ingredient of the Holy Spirit. Now I'm going to ask you to
- 6:31describe firstly, for people that may not even know what the
- 6:34Holy Spirit is. I'm going to get you to open
- 6:38that up so we can firstly talk about something that you're
- 6:43going to bring into the topic as a supernatural power.
- 6:51Well, the very first thing is. Thank you so much for letting me
- 6:55have this conversation so openly because I believe that every
- 7:00single one of us has the capacity to understand the Holy
- 7:05Spirit better if we if we are not seeing it as something
- 7:13separated from ourselves. So the Holy Spirit is a is a
- 7:18very gentle, nourishing, unable to be manipulated aspect of our
- 7:28existence and of our being that we are able to invite into our
- 7:34lives to assist us as humans. And the interesting thing about
- 7:39the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit wants to tend to us and
- 7:44befriend us and support us in our times of need and in our
- 7:49times of brokenness. And it does not require us to be
- 7:54perfect and put together and polished.
- 7:58It doesn't require us to know what to say.
- 8:00It accepts us unconditionally, but the important thing for us
- 8:06to realize is that it's never going to invite itself in.
- 8:11So there might be parts of us that secretly feel ashamed of
- 8:16our brokenness. We might feel as though we're
- 8:19not necessarily showing up in our life to our full potential.
- 8:23We might be harbouring fear and anxieties and depression and
- 8:28traumas, and we might also be getting to a point where we've
- 8:32tried a lot of therapies and a lot of things that haven't
- 8:36worked for us in our lives. Yeah.
- 8:39And the Holy Spirit is one of those aspects to our existence
- 8:43that has the potential to, to befriend and support any person,
- 8:50no matter what the depth and the breadth of your trauma actually
- 8:55is. The, the, the prerequisite for
- 9:00us to actually have the relationship that we need to
- 9:06Foster and support and tend to, in order to create a, a
- 9:12connection to the Holy Spirit that really changes things in
- 9:16our world is one of deep, deep intimacy.
- 9:22So what is required for intimacy is for and for us to invite the
- 9:28Holy Spirit in fully is for our ability to actually stop, slow
- 9:35everything down, be in a place of stillness so that we can
- 9:42actually hear the Holy Spirit as a intimate relationship.
- 9:47It's a voices that only we can really only hear if we are in
- 9:52the stillness of our own presence.
- 9:55And the reason why a lot of us have not been able to create a
- 9:59deep, intimate relationship with this particular supernatural
- 10:03aspect of our being is because we haven't stopped.
- 10:08We haven't been quiet with ourselves.
- 10:11We've been busy distracting ourselves with so many things.
- 10:15We've been looking outside ourselves for a lot of answers,
- 10:19and I believe every single person on the planet can
- 10:24actually have a very close relationship with this aspect
- 10:30that is so loving and so nourishing and so kind that it
- 10:38can pretty much support us through all of life's absolute
- 10:43challenges. And we know that the planet is
- 10:47in a bit of a mess right now. And the more Health Center,
- 10:51right? Absolutely.
- 10:55The the world has gone mad. So maybe this is a little secret
- 11:00key for people who find themselves disembodied from
- 11:08their presence and, you know, very much lost in their whole
- 11:15crisis or what's going on and unable to bring themselves back
- 11:22to the heart and soul of who they are, you know, as a person.
- 11:27So it's almost what I'm hearing you say, and I'm just going to
- 11:32be very objective. I'm not going to impart any of
- 11:35my own thoughts. I may discuss some of my
- 11:41questions with you, but I want to be extremely open and allow
- 11:46people that are listening to make their own informed
- 11:49decision. So it's almost like what you're
- 11:52saying about the Holy Spirit is that it is this, you know, maybe
- 11:58for some people who have never, ever come into this opportunity,
- 12:03understanding where they can get their discernment from, how they
- 12:08can heal themselves, how they can connect back in when
- 12:14something is really bad. So is the Holy Spirit a person?
- 12:20Some would say the Holy Spirit is a person.
- 12:24At the very least, it's a very intimate presence.
- 12:28And I think the way the Holy Spirit likes to operate is as a
- 12:32person in terms of this ability for us to have a very close
- 12:38relationship. So what often happens in a lot
- 12:41of spiritual teachings is there's an omnipresent creator,
- 12:45and sometimes that creator seems so far away from us and so
- 12:49inaccessible to us. And we are like, Oh my God, are
- 12:52you listening? You know, do you, do you hear
- 12:55me? I'm suffering.
- 12:57But the Holy Spirit is literally a friend in the closest intimate
- 13:05way who does not abandon you, even if you have to confess some
- 13:12of your darkest and deepest shames, Which is what I hear in
- 13:16my clinic all the time is shameful stories about pelvic
- 13:19health, sexual health, things that people have done and
- 13:22experienced that they might be thinking.
- 13:25I cannot tell another soul. I cannot actually experience the
- 13:29humiliation and shame of this. But I also don't feel I can
- 13:33connect well. The Holy Spirit is here to love
- 13:37us and not abandon us, no matter how broken, traumatized.
- 13:42Difficult no matter what we've done.
- 13:44Yeah. So a question on that because,
- 13:47you know, I'm sure that there are women out there suffering
- 13:53and even men who love their women.
- 13:57Knowing this can be very, very empowering.
- 14:01So take a woman, for example, who is going through a bit of a
- 14:06crisis in their sexuality, you know, through menopause.
- 14:10And maybe they're coming into having problems because it is a,
- 14:15a real life problem that women actually almost revert back to,
- 14:21you know, before they had hormones as a child.
- 14:23So they might feel that sex is painful or, you know, these
- 14:30things that nobody ever wants to talk about.
- 14:33And you know, we spoke about backstage the element of what
- 14:40happens to a woman's womb being her portal and things, for
- 14:46example, that may affect her. So for example, you raise the
- 14:51topic on termination. So, and we are not giving any
- 14:55opinions on right or wrong here. So just as a disclaimer, so
- 15:01because we want people that are listening to this to know that
- 15:06the Holy Spirit is unconditional.
- 15:09So it doesn't matter what you've been through and it doesn't
- 15:14matter what has happened to you. There is no shame from and with
- 15:20the Holy Spirit. So let's talk about a woman who
- 15:24may have encountered sexual assault or termination or
- 15:31something that has happened to her, that part of her portal,
- 15:36her womb, and what impact that has.
- 15:41And obviously, because you are a physio and you do actually do
- 15:47the pelvic examination, what have you found?
- 15:51How has that affected women from a spiritual point of view, an
- 15:55emotional point of view and obviously a practical physical
- 15:59point of view? Yes.
- 16:02So the interesting thing about pelvic floor Physiology and the
- 16:07structures inside the pelvic cauldron.
- 16:10So we have 16 muscle groups inside the area of 16 muscles in
- 16:15particular that are of significance.
- 16:17And when we go through trauma, and this has been well
- 16:20documented and researched, if we go through a trauma, our
- 16:27structural physiological relationship with our nervous
- 16:32system, changes in that tissue and the tissue Physiology will
- 16:37store the trauma in the form of either a more rigid or
- 16:43recalcitrant tissue type or even a tissue type that's gone to
- 16:48sleep. And when we actually, yeah.
- 16:52So it will absolutely change the Physiology of the body,
- 16:57particularly in the pelvis when there's been something like a
- 17:02termination or a trauma that's that's been been inflicted.
- 17:08And so when we go through menopause, a lot of those very
- 17:12deep unconscious traumas start to surface.
- 17:17And as a result, they can really result in a perfect storm.
- 17:21Because when our hormones change in menopause, we also have some
- 17:26tissue change to the system due to the loss of estrogen, and
- 17:30that can make the tissue more vulnerable on a physical level
- 17:34anyway. So while we're processing these
- 17:37unconscious traumas that might be surfacing in menopause, our
- 17:41bodies are changing and our husbands and partners and, you
- 17:45know, whether we're in a same sex or a heterosexual
- 17:48relationship, we'll often find it difficult to navigate these
- 17:52changes with us because as women, we don't even know really
- 17:56what we're going through. It's called cougar puberty for a
- 18:00reason. We.
- 18:02Cougar. Puberty.
- 18:08Thing or well, that's the first you learn something new every
- 18:11day. That's why I love doing what I'm
- 18:13doing here. So just to kind of bring bring
- 18:17that back to, you know, some of the very key important things.
- 18:22So it sounds like, you know, the book that I'm reading at the
- 18:26moment. So I've known about the book for
- 18:29a very long time. The body keeps the score.
- 18:32So, you know, all of a sudden, you know, the tissues and the
- 18:38memory of all that trauma held in that part of the woman's body
- 18:45becomes almost like it wakes up and causes these issues of where
- 18:54they have these problems. So what is the formula of
- 19:01healing for that? What do you do typically when
- 19:05you know a woman has gone through that kind of a trauma in
- 19:11her body? Yes, yes.
- 19:14So of course being a physiotherapist and a sexual and
- 19:18pelvic health educator, my scope of practice is really in the
- 19:24tending and befriending physically to the tissues that
- 19:27we might see have made those changes by actually directing a
- 19:33woman's attention to those tissues with our hands on
- 19:37medicine. So I'm a very hands on therapist
- 19:40and my manual skills around actually reading what's
- 19:45happening in a female system will support that woman's
- 19:49awareness around how to actually relax a muscle group that she
- 19:54might not have accessed inside the pelvic cauldron her whole
- 19:58life. For whatever reason, women
- 20:00abandoned this part of their bodies, often due to trauma or
- 20:04sometimes due to spiritual conditioning.
- 20:08And my job is to bring awareness to the tissue with my hands
- 20:13first and foremost. And then we use a lot of verbal
- 20:18and manual cues in my clinic to support the release of that
- 20:24story in the tissue. Now I do again, want to just
- 20:28talk to scope of practice because if I can get a really
- 20:33good physical release in tissue, that might be holding a lot of
- 20:37tension or scarring. And that would mean that I'm
- 20:40placing either gentle stretching pressure to the area or asking a
- 20:45woman to gently activate a particular area of tissue and
- 20:49then release it again with support with me as her witness.
- 20:55I'm actually focusing a lot on the physical benefits of that
- 20:59practice, that those physical benefits include better comfort
- 21:03with sex, better continence levels.
- 21:06A lot of women find they have continence issues and prolapse
- 21:10issues as they go through menopause, but there is also a
- 21:14deeper spiritual, mental and emotional awakening occurring in
- 21:19the templates behind that physical input.
- 21:23So because again, with scope of practice, we focus primarily on
- 21:28the physical. My job is also to support that
- 21:32woman if she is going through a major realization that her body
- 21:36has shut down for some reason and she needs to actually have
- 21:40therapeutic intervention that is very, very specialized to that
- 21:45trauma. I then key her in with my
- 21:48sexologist. My, you know, my favorite
- 21:51referring party. A sexologist to it has also been
- 21:56medically checked, trained or a psychologist usually to do some
- 22:01EMDR therapy. And of course, in my clinic, I
- 22:05hold a very safe, non judgmental presence.
- 22:09And I believe there's something more at work in these sessions.
- 22:13I believe that the simple practice of being very, very
- 22:18present in the body in some of our more personal spaces,
- 22:22because I'm doing a lot of internal vaginal examinations,
- 22:27also facilitates a deep sense of safety.
- 22:33So felt safety is something that supports the processing of
- 22:39trauma to a subconscious level where some women may not even
- 22:44remember what it was that planted the physiological
- 22:48imbalance in the 1st place. You know, a lot of women have
- 22:51spent their whole lives avoiding the discussions around abortion,
- 22:58sexual abuse. Some women don't even remember
- 23:01their childhood sexual abuse. But that's not the relevancy of
- 23:06it. So the story isn't necessarily
- 23:08always relevant. What is relevant, though, is
- 23:11that there's often an emotional release.
- 23:15And I have to have at least six boxes of tissues ready in my
- 23:20clinic, you know, for the week ahead because we go through a
- 23:24lot of tears. And the tears are, I believe,
- 23:28the Holy Spirit's way of releasing that trauma in a way
- 23:32that's very healing and supportive of the nervous system
- 23:36to down train itself into a regulated space.
- 23:40So we can't really access trauma when we're when we're up in our
- 23:45anxious breath and we're, you know, really moving our
- 23:48Physiology away from that part of our bodies.
- 23:51When we think about being so busy, we're breathing up,
- 23:55breathing into our head, over thinking.
- 23:57If we bring our awareness down into the body, our breath
- 24:01becomes more abdominally focused and pelvic focused.
- 24:05We're then able to also bring our nervous system into a space
- 24:09where it is actually safe to start processing some of those
- 24:13things that are shielding us from living.
- 24:17The sensations of divinity, sensuality, grace, the pleasant
- 24:26blessings of this world that, you know, we've somehow denied
- 24:30ourselves for whatever reason. Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:33And I, I didn't mention that you're going to do a closing
- 24:38ceremony with a feminine shift in activation visualization.
- 24:44It's just going to be for a few minutes, but it's going to be a
- 24:47very, very powerful. So ladies, if you feel and even
- 24:52men, I believe it's going to be very empowering for you to
- 24:56understand about, you know, if your partner is going through
- 25:02these kinds of elements that you know, you can be all the more
- 25:08empowered by understanding and knowing that there is literally
- 25:13no pun intended, light at the end of the tunnel.
- 25:18So babe, and you know, it, it it's so interesting too that you
- 25:24know, you talk about the Holy Spirit, you talk about this, you
- 25:29know, incredible portal of healing through the the womb and
- 25:35Co creation and procreation and the difference of, you know,
- 25:41when we're in that procreating state and then we kind of move
- 25:47over to to the Co creating state.
- 25:50Would you like to explore and open that up?
- 25:56I guess with the knowledge too, that you yourself have been
- 26:00through some very significant emotional events.
- 26:05You've been through a dark night of the soul and happened in your
- 26:0920s, and you've also been through post Natal depression,
- 26:14which I can actually relate to everything you're talking about.
- 26:19And so many people think that they're being derailed from, you
- 26:25know, what they're supposed to be doing in life and they can't
- 26:29do it. And they become paralyzed
- 26:31because they feel so taken off track by what they're, you know,
- 26:37what's happened to them. But you talk about this in a, a
- 26:42full cycle of how that derailing may have begun that way, but how
- 26:48it also changes to bring them back into their sole purpose.
- 26:53Would you like to enlighten our listeners?
- 26:56Yes, absolutely. So the idea of us moving through
- 27:02these cycles in our life where things are sometimes so
- 27:07desperately dark for us with that we're experiencing a dark
- 27:10night of the soul. First of all, with the
- 27:14menopausal shift that can often be very much characterized by
- 27:18depression and by a dark light of the soul.
- 27:21There's this this concept of being procreative and being
- 27:26wrapped up in our menstrual cycle for our whole lives,
- 27:29followed by a period where our hormones change enough for us to
- 27:33then be off the cyclic wheel. But but into this, this winding
- 27:39down of our drivers and our that used to enliven us into
- 27:45productivity. That was a concept coined and
- 27:49and I do need to give credit to Barbara Marx Hubbard, who was a
- 27:54very, very enlightened, supportive spiritual teacher of
- 27:58the women's mysteries. She passed away a few years ago.
- 28:02Now when we go into these dark places, when we have these
- 28:08experiences, you're absolutely right that the interpretation
- 28:12can be that we're off track. But I believe that we can't come
- 28:19into the oil of our anointment. We can't have the the luxury of
- 28:26our essence, our life essence, being almost distilled and and
- 28:32supported into its potency unless we've been pressed into a
- 28:39particular life challenge that has generally been in our divine
- 28:46plan all along. So what we need to sometimes
- 28:51reframe for ourselves is, oh, I did this and life gave me that,
- 28:58or I thought this and life gave me that.
- 29:03The truth, I believe, is that we have a plan that has actually
- 29:10been known to the Holy Spirit and to the Divine Creator all
- 29:14along. That plan is quite a gloriously
- 29:18wonderful one. But when we see these isolated
- 29:21life events and we personalize the fact that they're showing us
- 29:25that we're off track somehow, what we're missing is that
- 29:30there's always a blessing inside that particular Dark Knight that
- 29:36literally, if we go deep enough, that deep dive allows us to go
- 29:41into some unconscious traumas and some unconscious aspects of
- 29:45our selfhood that we need to find in order to bring back the
- 29:52oil of our anointment in a more potent form.
- 29:56So when the when we can't actually bring that oil into its
- 30:01fullest potency unless it's being pressed like a rose petal.
- 30:05And we know, you know, rose oil's very exquisite, expensive
- 30:09oil, it needs to be crushed down.
- 30:14Pride, distraction, perhaps lack of our insight, a lot of things
- 30:22that humans have that derail their ability to be humble,
- 30:27their ability to receive the messages of the spirit.
- 30:31That is where we don't realise we're looking for all of these
- 30:37answers, not realising that it's basically attempting to reach
- 30:45us. It's attempting to send it's
- 30:47messaging to us through these experiences.
- 30:51And those experiences have been set out for us before we even
- 30:55took our human form. It was a contract we decided to
- 30:59embark on. And that those soul contracts,
- 31:02those covenants that we've agreed to, we can go into them
- 31:05kicking and screaming. We can go into them going, oh,
- 31:09poor me. Self pity was my, my specialty.
- 31:13I, you know, self pity was a really big one for me.
- 31:16Actually. Self pity takes us so far away
- 31:20from the powerful gratitude and grace of that experience.
- 31:24And I'm not saying we can't be superhuman in the sense that of
- 31:27course we're going to have feelings about things.
- 31:30We're going to go through grief, We're going to shed tears.
- 31:34But those tears are actually each tier that we shared is
- 31:40being witnessed as a way for the divinity to press into us and
- 31:46and continuously soften us and guide us.
- 31:50Because if we didn't, we would be hardened to it.
- 31:54Yeah. We wouldn't be able to hear it.
- 31:56We wouldn't have the. We would have a very
- 31:58unfulfilling existence. And I believe some of us are
- 32:02having perhaps less fulfilling existences than what we could
- 32:08have. This is about us enjoying the
- 32:11blessings that life has. And that joyousness is there
- 32:18even in the most difficult circumstances.
- 32:23So that's where we know the Holy Spirit's actually at its peak is
- 32:27when we're on the floor. We've we've considered suicide
- 32:32because things have gotten that bad.
- 32:35And there's a strange but eerie reassurance and sense of peace
- 32:42and sense of righteousness and alignment that says actually,
- 32:48this was always going to be this is, this was always going to
- 32:52happen. We signed up for this somehow.
- 32:55This was always in the plan. And there's something really
- 33:01comforting about that because. I think we ourselves a hard.
- 33:05Time, right? We think we're in charge.
- 33:08We think we're God. We, we create all these
- 33:11manifestation practices. I I don't believe it's good for
- 33:17us. You know, and and just hearing
- 33:20that right there is just so soul freeing in itself to know that
- 33:27like you went through your own existential crisis and you
- 33:33talked about, you know, that part where we hear so many
- 33:38tragic stories of people who do take that step that enlivens
- 33:46themselves. And you know, you went through
- 33:50that, that grief, that dark night of the soul yourself.
- 33:54Do you feel that if, if people come to know the awareness, like
- 34:00I mean, for people that are loved ones and they've lost,
- 34:03it's kind of helping to know that, you know, that was their
- 34:08path and that was their and, and cause so many people blame
- 34:13themselves. You know, if something bad
- 34:15happens to a loved one themselves, they'll look
- 34:19internally to blame and connect themselves to it.
- 34:24Where see that from that point of view, it's very much well,
- 34:30this is their path, not yours. And then for people that
- 34:35obviously come to understand, say for example, which is a
- 34:39question by the way, the Holy Spirit and they are in that, you
- 34:45know, very dark place. You believe them coming into
- 34:52that knowledge of something far bigger and greater can actually
- 34:57change things and and turn things around.
- 35:03I do, but there's a really important part of this that I
- 35:07didn't get until a year ago when I had my third major life crisis
- 35:16and I, I couldn't help but ask the question, why?
- 35:20What aren't I getting? You know what, what aren't I
- 35:23understanding about this? I feel like I've, I'm a, a good
- 35:28person. I feel like I try to do all the
- 35:31right things. I try to help people and still
- 35:34my partner leaves me in my year of menopause and he runs off
- 35:38with a 32 year old and I'm, I'm like, there's something I'm not
- 35:43getting right about this life, you know, And I need to know
- 35:47because I don't, I'm losing hope that at the age of 52, I'm ever
- 35:51going to get it. And if this is what my life
- 35:53looks like, I'm, I just don't really think I'm that happy, you
- 35:58know, I'm, I'm living for everyone else.
- 36:00I'm living for my sons and my family, but I'm not really here
- 36:04to do anything in particular. And this is, that's it for me.
- 36:08You know, I'm, I'm a lost 'cause that's really where I was a year
- 36:12ago in this heartbreak and a year ago, a year ago.
- 36:19Yeah, it's, it's been 13 months this this month.
- 36:25It was a huge turn around because of this one thing which
- 36:29I believe was the difference, and that was that I had not
- 36:35completely surrendered everything like I still in every
- 36:42part of my life, I was still praying for things to go my way.
- 36:46I was still praying for this to happen, for that to happen, for
- 36:49him to come back, for him not to leave me.
- 36:52Whatever. I wanted to push my will force
- 36:55energy over the life force energy that was going to give me
- 37:00all the blessings and I wanted to know better than what the
- 37:04Holy Spirit wanted for me. I wanted to know better than the
- 37:07Holy Spirit. I wanted to superimpose my will
- 37:09force energy on that current of life and I was trying to push
- 37:15and I was like exhausted and I wondered why am I continuously
- 37:20feeling tired? And until I got on my knees and
- 37:24I literally said OK, you can have it all.
- 37:28I'm yours, I'm yours, I am fully yours.
- 37:35I don't want to have anything for me.
- 37:40I want this to be for us to relate.
- 37:43You are my one and only source of guidance.
- 37:48What the world has conditioned me to want, I no longer want.
- 37:52I don't care if I'm poor and homeless.
- 37:55You do with me what you need to do on the piece of clay.
- 37:58Right now I'm mud, I'm dust. And everything started to change
- 38:04and it felt like for me, I, I have been given the biggest gift
- 38:16that it would be almost, it would be almost criminal.
- 38:22It would be not right to not share that particular part of
- 38:26the journey, which is where we can be so broken, but there's
- 38:31still a little part of us that doesn't want to give that last
- 38:34little part away. It could be shame that's
- 38:37stopping us from wanting to be seen by this intimate friendship
- 38:42with divinity because some of us have been brought up to believe
- 38:45that divinity doesn't like the dark parts of us.
- 38:49And, you know, we've been taught to be ashamed of, of, of aspects
- 38:53that in a way, if we were just to be like, I'm going to have
- 38:57the best friend I've ever had in this relationship with divinity.
- 39:01And I'm going to tell divinity everything about myself.
- 39:04I'm going to tell Divinity that I, I, I, I haven't wanted to be
- 39:08here. I haven't wanted to admit that
- 39:10to, to my relationship with the Holy Spirit before, you know,
- 39:14And I'm going to just, I'm just going to lay it out every day.
- 39:17We're going to have conversations about this.
- 39:20Yeah. And and I'm not going to either.
- 39:23I'm not also, I'm also not going to have an agenda where I'm
- 39:29hoping to get something out of this.
- 39:31This isn't what I'm I'm doing. I'm surrendering myself as a
- 39:35portal or a vessel, and that vessel is empty.
- 39:40And I think in the emptiness, that's what scares people the
- 39:42most, is in the emptiness. It's a void that people spend
- 39:46their whole life avoiding, not realizing that they're actually
- 39:49avoiding the blessings. Yeah, it's.
- 39:52Interesting that. That's very interesting because
- 39:54in one of the techniques that I practice, we go back to that
- 39:58void. We go back to before time, we go
- 40:02back to before ancestral lineage, and we go back into a
- 40:06space and a place of absolute nothingness where there is
- 40:12nothing but love and light and you know, and then it becomes
- 40:18everything because there is no meaning.
- 40:20There's no judge, there's no, there's no anything.
- 40:23So it's interesting you talk about that.
- 40:26And that kind of leads me to, you know, just sort of prefacing
- 40:31this with, you know, backstage, you know, I asked you the
- 40:34question, is the Holy Spirit a man or a woman?
- 40:38And I thought for Christians, that could be a really click
- 40:43bait kind of a title, you know? And you know what you did say,
- 40:50which made so much sense to me, it's a bit like going back to
- 40:54the void again, going back to to that business.
- 40:57And that is that there's no gender.
- 41:01So, you know, there's there because then that would be
- 41:04limiting, I guess. So when you answered that I
- 41:07thought well it makes sense no matter even if I did believe it
- 41:10was a male or a man and it came from Jesus and Jesus
- 41:15historically was a man. The simple fact is that we are
- 41:20placing a limit by saying the Holy Spirit is a man.
- 41:24So you talk about it in a non gendered and you also talk about
- 41:30the pranic life force energy and the breath behind the breath.
- 41:38Yes, maybe we can. I know you'll be bringing this
- 41:41into maybe the meditation we're gonna do, but can you talk about
- 41:47how the Holy Spirit becomes that limitless midwife shepherd and
- 41:53ability to be limitlessly rebirthing us?
- 41:59Yes, and and that's, that's an interesting, and that's a
- 42:03beautiful question too, about how it becomes a limitless part
- 42:08of us, because that's also where our humility as humans is so
- 42:13important. Because the biggest mistake we
- 42:16can make in understanding that the Holy Spirit's working
- 42:19through US is to take some kind of ownership and put some kind
- 42:23of title over ourselves and call, call it, you know, being a
- 42:28guru or whatever it is that we see are languaging around it
- 42:33doing. And I, I actually believe right
- 42:35now the holy spirits showing up more and more to balance out
- 42:40this idea of the masculine and the feminine energies.
- 42:44So when we're bringing that, that supportive midwifing, I'll
- 42:49call it, into this world right now, a lot of women are waking
- 42:53up to the idea of re languaging some of the ideas around how
- 43:00this operates in our bodies as females, because a lot of that's
- 43:04been left out of the religious texts that are so informative
- 43:09and so truthful, you know. And so there's a, there's a, a
- 43:15need right now, I believe, for us to have and share our lived
- 43:19experiences of how it actually communicates to us.
- 43:24I believe it communicates to us deep in our bones as women.
- 43:30And again, it requires us to have a lot of stillness and a
- 43:34lot of presence. And it also requires us to be so
- 43:39humble because the minute our mind and the narratives and the
- 43:44conditioning wants to step in and muddy the waters, we can
- 43:47actually get derailed pretty quickly.
- 43:50But the other thing that's going on right now, which is really
- 43:54important to mention, is that a lot of this is being hijacked
- 44:01and targeted by a, a, a degree of spiritual warfare that's
- 44:05occurring on the planet. So when we come into this more,
- 44:09you know, we come into this more like this frequency of
- 44:13understanding that our, our, our alignment comes from that place
- 44:18of complete surrender to this force.
- 44:21We will be tested. Yeah.
- 44:25We will be asked and shown temptations, I guess you could
- 44:31say derailments. There will be people in the form
- 44:35of very angelic messengers, you know, coming through people to
- 44:39tell us how to go next. But there will also be people
- 44:42actually working against us because it's hard for humans to
- 44:47understand how powerful this particular ability to surrender
- 44:54is. So we will trigger people when
- 44:57we're actually operating in this space.
- 44:59It will be very, very triggering to people.
- 45:02And I think sometimes that can be misconstrued as, oh, I must
- 45:08be doing the wrong thing. I'm usually such a nice person.
- 45:11I don't like making people, you know, not like me.
- 45:15But what menopause, I think the way menopause changes you is it
- 45:24stops you from feeling like you have to worry about what other
- 45:28humans think. Think anymore and you're a lot
- 45:31more capable of receiving those messages about what the Holy
- 45:35Spirit wants to do through you. And God.
- 45:38God may care if it's really up to you and God what you do with
- 45:42your life from from this point onwards.
- 45:45Yeah. Wow, Oh my gosh.
- 45:49Well, I'm going to bring you around now.
- 45:51I, I mean, I could have this conversation forever actually.
- 45:54And there's so many conversations within it that I
- 45:58believe we need to open up on definitely on a, on a whole
- 46:03different level. But I know that I'm excited
- 46:08about what you're going to be bringing here to the, I guess
- 46:16the meditation. So, yeah, I, I guess firstly,
- 46:21just to kind of bring a foundation here, our audience, I
- 46:29guess they may be dealing with shame.
- 46:32They could be dealing with those issues that now that they've
- 46:37listened to Lisa and listen to so many gold Nuggets, that it
- 46:44may bring that awareness to you that just in that self is so
- 46:51free. And you know, I guess the rest
- 46:56is really up to you to allow yourself to have that divine
- 47:04relationship with something that's higher than you, a higher
- 47:08power. So I'm really loving what you've
- 47:12talked about. And I know you're very big on
- 47:15the embodiment and the fact that we do get disembodied, that
- 47:23happens to all of us when we become, you know, disgruntled,
- 47:30challenged or whatever that happens.
- 47:34So in all of this, I'm wondering if because we didn't prepare
- 47:38anything around this, what you like to bring, what you feel is
- 47:44going to be, you know, innately what you believe is going to be
- 47:49appropriate to bring to our audience.
- 47:54Yes, yes, I would absolutely love to work with the, the
- 48:00imprint, the visualization of rose medicine.
- 48:04So the Rose is a really significant symbol of the divine
- 48:11feminine awakening and, and the softness and the anointment that
- 48:17we all bring as women. And if you don't think your life
- 48:20matters or you don't feel that you're awake to what your life
- 48:26purpose is, the Rose is a really beautiful meditation I'd like to
- 48:30offer that will support women to not only come into their deeper
- 48:38nature so that they can better tune into that intuitive
- 48:42faculty. That is where the interface
- 48:45between them, themselves and the conversation with the Holy
- 48:48Spirit around. OK, where do I go next?
- 48:51What is what are my next steps? Yeah, but also in the softening
- 48:55of our Physiology so that we can actually access those deeper
- 48:58parts of ourselves and stay in a state.
- 49:02Do we have to ask the audience to be in a place where they do
- 49:08not require concentration for this, or is it OK for them to
- 49:12be, you know, driving a car and roll?
- 49:16Thank you for. Speaking that, yeah, ideally I
- 49:20would, I would ask the audience if they could please start to
- 49:25turn any devices or distractions off.
- 49:28If you are driving and you need to pull over or stop the
- 49:32recording to listen to this at another time, that would be
- 49:36ideal because what we will also be looking at doing is taking a
- 49:42comfortable seat so that we can actually receive the impressions
- 49:48of the seated position into our pelvis as well.
- 49:52So if you're not already sitting, please take a
- 49:55comfortable seat and please start to, if you feel
- 50:00comfortable to do this, either soften the gaze at a point down
- 50:06in front of you or close the eyes.
- 50:09If you feel comfortable to close the eyes and start to bring your
- 50:17awareness down into the body, noticing the breath as well.
- 50:23Cool as you inhale and warm as you exhale.
- 50:31And our awareness travels deep, deep down to the pelvis right
- 50:35now. And we're tracing the points of
- 50:40the pelvis that connect with the chair.
- 50:44The pubic bone is at the front, the sitting bones are on the
- 50:49left and right sides, and the tailbone is at the back of the
- 50:53body. And these Bony points form a
- 50:56perfect diamond shape. We're tracing that diamond shape
- 51:01with our mind's eye, and we're allowing the breath to travel
- 51:07all the way down to this diamond shape known as our peroneal
- 51:11diamond. And in the centre of the diamond
- 51:16we rest our awareness. And it's a visual awareness
- 51:22where we place the symbol of the red rose.
- 51:29It's a very Mary Magdalene symbol that enables us to start
- 51:37to tune into a particular frequency in our bodies that
- 51:43allows us to soften. And what we're going to do right
- 51:47now with the Rose is we're going to train the Rose to open
- 51:55completely on our inhalation, so that on the inhalation of the
- 52:03breath, we're noticing the petals of the Rose softening and
- 52:08opening in our mind's eye. And as we do that, we may even
- 52:15notice the diamond shape around the Rose also softening and
- 52:20expanding slightly, and the Physiology of our pelvis relaxes
- 52:27into the chair. As we exhale, we're going to
- 52:34release any tension from the body, like black smoke through
- 52:41the nostrils. So just for the next 3 breaths,
- 52:47we inhale and soften the diamond shape, we soften and open the
- 52:51petals of the Rose. We see the impression and as we
- 52:56exhale, we release any tension from that area, like black smoke
- 53:02through the nostrils, softening on the inhale and releasing on
- 53:09the exhale for one more long soft breath.
- 53:16And then we're bringing all of our awareness now to the Rose
- 53:21itself so that as we inhale and soften, we're noticing this
- 53:28sense of expansion in the base of the pelvis.
- 53:32And as we exhale, we notice the Rose slightly closing and you
- 53:38may even feel the tissue or the muscles or the Physiology of the
- 53:43pelvic floor area slightly hugging the Rose into more of a
- 53:50bud like shape on your exhalation phase of the breath.
- 53:55And we're going to do 5 rose breaths now so that on the
- 54:01inhale, as the pelvic floor and the perineal diamond and the
- 54:07Rose softens into full bloom, there's a sense of opening.
- 54:14And on the exhale, as we draw and gently move the Rose into
- 54:21more of a bud shaped sensation, the pelvic floor Physiology
- 54:27lightly hugs towards the body. On the inhale, the pelvic floor
- 54:33softens and relaxes and releases.
- 54:37And on the exhale we have a light and gentle hug and lift of
- 54:44the muscles. And the visualization of the
- 54:48Rose shows us this beautiful sense of support to closing into
- 54:56that bud like shape. And we're doing three more
- 55:00breaths at our own pace, supporting this idea that as we
- 55:06open and soften, we're coming into this fully supported,
- 55:13nourished place. And as we exhale, we have a
- 55:19recoil, a sense of release to allow ourselves to have the
- 55:27healthy boundaries around our bodies so that we know when to
- 55:33open and when to say no. We know when to invite and we
- 55:41know when to create this permeable boundary, this
- 55:48supportive sense in ourselves. And just taking one more breath
- 55:54and letting the whole visualisation of the Rose gently
- 55:59fade so that for a moment we're left with the essence of the
- 56:13breath travelling deep into the body.
- 56:16We're left with the awareness of being able to stay with
- 56:23ourselves in full and complete presence in this part of our
- 56:27body. And we also know that in calling
- 56:36forward this Magdalene or this this beautiful feminine energy,
- 56:44that Mary Magdalene was really supportive.
- 56:50And she was incredibly misunderstood, but she was
- 56:58absolutely powerful in her support of Jesus Christ in his
- 57:03life, and she financed him. She was powerful.
- 57:08She was able to move heaven and earth to allow for the
- 57:16experience of the entire resurrection process so that no
- 57:24matter how surrendered we become as humans, no matter how deep
- 57:32the crucifixion, I guess is the the stigmata is the gift of this
- 57:41resurrection is always possible and even better and brighter and
- 57:47more beautiful and more in blossom than ever before.
- 57:55And when you're ready, bring your awareness back into towards
- 58:00the heart. Just take a moment to give
- 58:06gratitude for the space that you've created around
- 58:11reconnecting to self and to Holy Spirit.
- 58:14And when you're ready, you can open your eyes and come back to
- 58:22the room and feel yourself being completely aware of your
- 58:29surroundings. Please don't start your car yet
- 58:33unless you've had a few press and a moment to do that.
- 58:38Yes, just come back in, come back to full alertness and Oh my
- 58:42gosh, Lisa, that was incredible. I will be definitely listening
- 58:48to that and I'd even love to share it into my pay program for
- 58:56my people that come into the community.
- 58:58I think that was just powerful. So I just want to thank you so
- 59:05much. And we only touched the surface
- 59:07today. And you know, I just really want
- 59:13to say that this is a conversation we definitely need
- 59:16to come back to the table with and we will have Lisa's very
- 59:22unique and powerful and yet profoundly knowledgeable
- 59:28services of how you can get in contact with this lovely lady
- 59:33that will be in the show notes. So you can contact her directly.
- 59:39You can follow her on social media.
- 59:42If you are fortunate enough to be in the same city as Lisa,
- 59:48then you can have that very powerful experience.
- 59:53And now I understand because a lot of the mentors and coaches
- 59:57have talked about this kind of, they call it a massage where it
- 1:00:03is in that part in that region of the body.
- 1:00:05Now I know so much more. So Lisa, what part of the world
- 1:00:11are you in? So for those who are in your
- 1:00:14city, they may be able to know they can come into your clinic.
- 1:00:20Yeah, sure. So I practice out of my little
- 1:00:22clinic in Bangalore on Mondays and Wednesdays and I'm in
- 1:00:26Ballina also, which is the North Coast of NSW.
- 1:00:31I'm very happy to do telehealth calls, although of course that
- 1:00:34omits the hands on experience. But there's a lot we can also
- 1:00:40address in in telehealth online calls.
- 1:00:44And yeah, it's been an absolute pleasure to connect with you,
- 1:00:47Terry. Thank you for facilitating all
- 1:00:50of that so beautifully. So much thank you so much.
- 1:00:55Sending you so much love and enjoy and we will see you on the
- 1:01:00next episode of Terry Messenger's Genius Zone show,
- 1:01:06where we have explored through this various topic along with
- 1:01:11all the exciting new topics that we bring every week to enhance
- 1:01:18your personal mastery of excellence.
- 1:01:22Now, I'd love you to do me a favor, in fact, be part of the
- 1:01:27legacy 1,000,000 that I have in the vision for 2028.
- 1:01:33If you know someone who really would benefit from this
- 1:01:39recording from this episode, please share, share it with
- 1:01:45them. And when you subscribe, you get
- 1:01:49notified every week of our episode as soon as it drops.
