- 0:00Speaker 1: Is it time to truly give President Trump a cognitive test?
- 0:09Speaker 1: You know, I haven't been as tough on him, I know,
- 0:12Speaker 1: at times. But there have been three remarks I have
- 0:15Speaker 1: to play for you. Starting with today's announcement. Thanks to
- 0:21Speaker 1: Sambolino for giving me this tidbit. Did you know? that
- 0:27Speaker 1: we live in a world of superintelligence?
- 0:32Speaker 2: It's your name, Steve, officially to SI, okay? Si, like SI, SI,
- 0:38Speaker 2: instead of AI.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You know what that means?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Superintelligence. So the name, I guess that's really quite an announcement,
- 0:46Speaker 2: but the name has been officially changed by the biggest,
- 0:51Speaker 2: the smartest, the greatest people anywhere in the world at this.
- 0:55Speaker 2: And I was with President Xi a few days ago,
- 0:57Speaker 2: and he would admit, he said, these are the smartest
- 1:00Speaker 2: people in the world at what they do, and it's
- 1:02Speaker 2: a big thing. But it's been officially changed to superintelligence
- 1:07Speaker 2: or SI.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I don't know. That's comment number one. And, of course—
- 1:13Speaker 1: If you didn't hear the news today, President Trump changing
- 1:17Speaker 1: the name of artificial intelligence via executive order to super intelligence.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So we'll be having the super intelligence Olympics where those
- 1:31Speaker 1: robots competed. That's what we'll be called next. And maybe
- 1:34Speaker 1: we'll have the super intelligence bowl. How about that? I
- 1:40Speaker 1: don't know. If this is something that's going to be
- 1:44Speaker 1: a big game changer for the midterms, but it just
- 1:49Speaker 1: certainly makes him look like he's losing a little bit more.
- 1:52Speaker 1: How about this comment he said just a couple days ago?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Sir, there's no question this will be the biggest thing
- 2:09Speaker 3: you've ever, if it is the biggest thing I've ever done.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I've done a job as president.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I mean, I got to hear more of that context,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but just him saying that alone. And then the other
- 2:20Speaker 1: whopper in the last couple of weeks is he said this.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I certainly hope he will be a great mayor. You
- 2:29Speaker 2: have to understand, I want what's good for New York.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I want what's good for the country. So if I
- 2:34Speaker 2: had a choice of having him be a bad mayor
- 2:36Speaker 2: or horrible mayor, I don't want that. I want him
- 2:39Speaker 2: to be a great mayor. And he's certainly got potential.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Got great potential.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Mayor Mamdani's got great potential to be a great mayor.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I don't know what his play is with Mamdani, but
- 2:53Speaker 1: I definitely think it's for the good of New York
- 2:54Speaker 1: that he's trying to do that in that context. But
- 3:00Speaker 1: three comments in less than a week, that should make
- 3:06Speaker 1: people wonder what his real priorities are. It doesn't sound
- 3:12Speaker 1: like we're ending the war anytime soon because we're worried
- 3:14Speaker 1: about naming artificial intelligence to super intelligence. It doesn't look
- 3:21Speaker 1: like we're ending the war anytime soon because he's obsessed
- 3:27Speaker 1: with having President Xi at the state dinner. Now, honestly,
- 3:33Speaker 1: would I have wanted Kamala after all this? No, I
- 3:35Speaker 1: still think Trump, though a character he is, was the
- 3:39Speaker 1: person needed in that time in 2024. But these comments
- 3:49Speaker 1: and these, I guess, accomplishments are definitely not helping in
- 3:57Speaker 1: the midterm race. I don't think so. Anyway, there are
- 4:01Speaker 1: more just deflections of what's really going on, which is
- 4:05Speaker 1: we're in a war. No one seems to know how
- 4:07Speaker 1: to win. And I know I said this on Saturday,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but I have to repeat it because every time he's
- 4:13Speaker 1: got a chance to do something, it's always kicking that
- 4:15Speaker 1: can down the road. Now, he was very powerful at
- 4:18Speaker 1: the UN. I'll admit, he was great. He was fantastic.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But these comments keep adding up, and it's getting confusing
- 4:33Speaker 1: as to where his mind is really at. And, of course,
- 4:36Speaker 1: when he says SI, all I think of is Sports Illustrated.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But now it's superintelligence. And it's not just a rebrand.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's an entire departmental, federal government-wide rebrand. So no one
- 4:53Speaker 1: is allowed to talk about AI anymore. They're supposed to
- 4:55Speaker 1: talk about superintelligence. Isn't it scary, though?
- 5:00Speaker 4: Because if we give AI that credit to superintelligence, to
- 5:09Speaker 4: being superintelligent, Aren't we basically saying the machines are beating
- 5:14Speaker 4: us right now?
- 5:17Speaker 1: And that the machines are having one leg up over us?
- 5:23Speaker 1: That's what it tells me when it comes to this rebrand.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But what else could Trump name? He wants to rename
- 5:34Speaker 1: the Gulf of America. I think he wants to rename
- 5:38Speaker 1: Lake Ontario. I mean, there's a bunch of stuff he's
- 5:40Speaker 1: trying to rename. New America, not New Mexico. Is this
- 5:51Speaker 1: alarming to you? Is this funny to you? Is this
- 5:55Speaker 1: just Trump being Trump? Or is it all a deflection
- 5:59Speaker 1: of what's really going on, which is we have no plan,
- 6:02Speaker 1: 861 injured soldiers later, for defeating Iran. It's just talk, talk, talk.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So he dances. He goes to this thing and he
- 6:14Speaker 1: goes to that thing. But that dance is not answering
- 6:19Speaker 1: the main question of can we get out of this
- 6:22Speaker 1: Iran war, Iran conflict. Trump was always, and you may
- 6:28Speaker 1: disagree with me, he was always still somehow sharp when
- 6:31Speaker 1: he talked that first term. I don't know if it
- 6:36Speaker 1: was the impeachment. I don't know if it was losing
- 6:39Speaker 1: to Biden. I don't know if it was the unfortunate,
- 6:43Speaker 1: attempt on his life. That shouldn't have even happened. But
- 6:50Speaker 1: he's changed. He's become cognitively difficult to rationalize. So doesn't
- 7:03Speaker 1: this worry you? He wants to name and has named
- 7:08Speaker 1: through executive order AI to superintelligence Are terms no longer
- 7:16Speaker 1: terms for President Trump? Is he going to say I
- 7:21Speaker 1: can run for a third term because I'm going to
- 7:24Speaker 1: rebrand that cycle too? He's literally changing everything along the way.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And I don't know if that means he's going to
- 7:38Speaker 1: try and change the way we do elections so we
- 7:41Speaker 1: can have that third term. But if he's gone from
- 7:46Speaker 1: rebranding bodies of water to attempting to rebrand a state
- 7:53Speaker 1: of America to new America, to now rebranding a term
- 8:02Speaker 1: that we all know as artificial intelligence and giving a credence,
- 8:05Speaker 1: calling it super intelligence. What is he going to try
- 8:13Speaker 1: and rebrand next? Is he going to try and rebrand
- 8:20Speaker 1: medical conditions? Is he going to try and rebrand... God forbid, holidays?
- 8:32Speaker 1: He's already trying to put his name on every damn thing.
- 8:36Speaker 1: What's next? And if we're witnessing the decline... of President
- 8:50Speaker 1: Trump in front of our eyes, it's becoming a sad
- 8:55Speaker 1: state of affairs in his decline. That's not super at all.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And that's my message at One Link of Alex Media.
