- 0:10Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:13Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia, here with my real Tight homegirl
- 0:18Speaker 1: and my daughter in law Beacha. Every Monday, we are
- 0:23Speaker 1: here to talk some sister wives, newsworthy items, yes, and
- 0:27Speaker 1: then we're going to get into the latest episode of
- 0:31Speaker 1: Welcome to Plaithville.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Boring, a little bit boring.
- 0:35Speaker 1: But there were some good things that we want to
- 0:37Speaker 1: get in hip it. Before we do all of that,
- 0:40Speaker 1: we do have to warn you to please hide your
- 0:42Speaker 1: wife and hide your kids. This is a politically incorrect podcast.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We say a lot of bad words, although I've been
- 0:49Speaker 1: trying to tone it down and have you noticed I've
- 0:53Speaker 1: got thank you, But we do say a lot of
- 0:55Speaker 1: bad words. We have stupid opinions and so if you're
- 0:58Speaker 1: one of them, since foot of people or recold why
- 1:02Speaker 1: are you here? You might want to find your silf
- 1:04Speaker 1: another dope stern. But if you're down to party and
- 1:08Speaker 1: talk about all these weirdos, welcome to this dumpster.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And if you are down to party with us, be
- 1:15Speaker 2: sure to follow us on Instagram at reality tv Cride

- 1:24Speaker 1: Yes, and we're gonna start watching or reacting to Smothered.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Smothered season one.
- 1:29Speaker 1: We're starting at season one. I am shocked that there
- 1:31Speaker 1: are five five seasons Smothered, Yes, and these people are
- 1:35Speaker 1: all crazy, absolutely insane. That is how I like them.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:38Speaker 1: So we're gonna be starting that. I think sometime in October.
- 1:42Speaker 1: We always have some good content on the Patreon. Honey. Now,
- 1:45Speaker 1: if you are watching on YouTube, please don't forget to
- 1:48Speaker 1: like and comment and share and subscribe because everything you
- 1:52Speaker 1: do truly does help us in the algorithm, and so
- 1:55Speaker 1: thank you in thank you. Okay, So before we get
- 1:59Speaker 1: into to welcome to Platfill, I did want to talk
- 2:02Speaker 1: a little bit about some Sister Wives stuff that's happening
- 2:05Speaker 1: in the universe, because of course, Sister Wives season nineteen
- 2:10Speaker 1: is what Sunday, Yes, not Monday, It's Sunday, Sunday, bitch.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I am so excited. So I thought
- 2:16Speaker 1: we'd cover some of these news items and get to
- 2:19Speaker 1: talk in a little. The first one has to do
- 2:21Speaker 1: with your favorite in mine mackelty.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Oh my god, this big.
- 2:26Speaker 1: McKelty, who was kind of the last of the children
- 2:30Speaker 1: besides Robin's kids, who still had some kind of a
- 2:34Speaker 1: functioning relationship with Cody and Robin, and she would still
- 2:38Speaker 1: from time to time defend Cody and Robin, and we
- 2:42Speaker 1: were all asking ourselves.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Why, literally why?
- 2:46Speaker 1: So I don't know if you remember, but a couple
- 2:49Speaker 1: of months ago she said something on her Patreon about
- 2:52Speaker 1: Cody not reaching out to her for her birthday.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I did remember that.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think her birthday happened after Garrison's funeral, and
- 3:01Speaker 1: so this might make sense in just a moment. Okay,
- 3:04Speaker 1: Apparently somebody on Mikelty and Tony's Patreon made some kind
- 3:09Speaker 1: of comment saying that they were lying about their relationship
- 3:13Speaker 1: with Cody and Robin, and so this is what Michelty
- 3:16Speaker 1: wrote in a comment. In reply, she says, we try
- 3:20Speaker 1: very hard to say what we can while respecting our
- 3:24Speaker 1: families and our relationships. We do not lie. To give
- 3:27Speaker 1: you some insights, it is true we have always been
- 3:31Speaker 1: super supportive of Robin, and yes, lately it may seem
- 3:36Speaker 1: as that has changed. There are things that happened during
- 3:39Speaker 1: the recent funeral that are the reason for that. We
- 3:43Speaker 1: won't be talking about these events. So you're not totally
- 3:47Speaker 1: wrong and any who, thanks for supporting and watching. We
- 3:51Speaker 1: hope this helps a little bit.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I hate how they're so cryptic. Yeah, like just fucking
- 3:56Speaker 2: tell us. Yeah, but maybe it's because it's going to
- 3:58Speaker 2: be on the season, like maybe we'll see what happened
- 4:02Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I just highly doubt it.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I doubt it too. We're going to be seeing last
- 4:05Speaker 2: year's footage, right, So, But what do you think it
- 4:08Speaker 2: was that they did well?
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't know. The most conspicuous thing for me that
- 4:15Speaker 1: came out of the funeral, where it concerns Robin, is
- 4:18Speaker 1: that her adult kids were not there. I don't believe Dayton, Brianna,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and Aurora showed up. I'm not sure why they wouldn't,
- 4:27Speaker 1: other than Robin and possibly Cody saying you're too tender
- 4:31Speaker 1: hearted or having made those kids feel like they're not
- 4:35Speaker 1: a part of the family. Maybe the kids just like, well,
- 4:37Speaker 1: we're not a part of the family, so we're not
- 4:38Speaker 1: gonna go, which is really unfortunate, and maybe that has
- 4:44Speaker 1: something to do with why Michelt was upset, and or
- 4:48Speaker 1: maybe that is kind of what allowed the veils to
- 4:51Speaker 1: fall and have her see Robin for who she was,
- 4:54Speaker 1: just because.
- 4:54Speaker 2: The kids weren't there.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Maybe that's for me personally, that's a huge deal. I
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't want to say it's offensive. I personally take offense
- 5:07Speaker 1: to the fact that those kids weren't there. They are
- 5:09Speaker 1: adults now, they're not little minor children. They could have,
- 5:13Speaker 1: in their own agency made the decision to go because
- 5:16Speaker 1: they had a relationship of their own with Garrison. Right,
- 5:20Speaker 1: But that's the kids, it's not Robin. Unless Robin had
- 5:23Speaker 1: something to do with keeping the kids away, and or
- 5:26Speaker 1: unless Robin said something during the funeral, or maybe like
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm just making shit up for real. Yeah, but maybe
- 5:32Speaker 1: she was jockeying for position because if you recall, she
- 5:37Speaker 1: was sitting up there with Janelle and with Cody in
- 5:41Speaker 1: the front pew during the funeral, and I'm like, Robin,
- 5:45Speaker 1: why are you there? I guess maybe because Cody was there,
- 5:49Speaker 1: But why is Robin there? Like she's she's the cudgel,
- 5:52Speaker 1: she's the issue, she's the problem for so many of
- 5:55Speaker 1: these kids. Yeah, and she knows it after that chat, right.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Oh, for sure. But I wonder if it's like on
- 6:02Speaker 2: Cody and Robin's part, Like I wonder if they were
- 6:04Speaker 2: making some comments or something or like made the whole
- 6:07Speaker 2: funeral about themselves and their emotions when they really should
- 6:11Speaker 2: be there for like Janelle, and like, I mean, I
- 6:13Speaker 2: guess Cody because Cody was his dad and stuff. But
- 6:16Speaker 2: like I just wonder if she said some shit. Maybe
- 6:20Speaker 2: that's why mckelty's pissed off at her. I mean, good, finally,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm glad that you're on the same page with as
- 6:26Speaker 2: literally everybody else in the world Michelt, right, So, but
- 6:31Speaker 2: I also feel bad because like she's now it's like, Okay,
- 6:35Speaker 2: I wanted a relationship with my dad. She probably was
- 6:38Speaker 2: tolerating Robin or trying to kiss up to her so
- 6:41Speaker 2: she could have a relationship with her dad. Now she
- 6:43Speaker 2: doesn't get to have either one. That sucks.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if that relationship was so innocent
- 6:50Speaker 1: on mckelty's part. Like, I just remember how Christine felt
- 6:55Speaker 1: when Michelty told Robin about her twinnancy before she told
- 7:01Speaker 1: her own mother. And there were just some things that
- 7:03Speaker 1: Michelty did that I thought were pretty tone deaf and
- 7:07Speaker 1: or outright hurtful to her family and to her mother.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And I'm like, why, like, is Cody giving you money?
- 7:13Speaker 1: I mean I know that Tony and McKelty actually filmed
- 7:18Speaker 1: with Cody and Robin, and so maybe that's something that
- 7:20Speaker 1: they wanted to be able to do and so they
- 7:23Speaker 1: kept that relationship going. I don't know, This is all speculation,
- 7:27Speaker 1: And insofar as McKelty is Cody's child, yeah, it's sad. Yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and she's moved away now. They sold their house in Utah.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Now they're in North Carolina. But I do think it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: very interesting that she made this comment, and it's probably
- 7:43Speaker 1: way bigger of the deal than she's playing it off
- 7:46Speaker 1: to be.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Oh for sure. But that's why I'm wondering, like if
- 7:49Speaker 2: it's going to be on the show, like maybe she
- 7:50Speaker 2: just can't say anything because it would be a spoiler,
- 7:53Speaker 2: because it's going to be like the biggest thing that
- 7:54Speaker 2: happened on the show, you know, besides the wives leaving.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So I don't know. I just wish they would stop
- 8:00Speaker 2: being so fucking cryptic.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah me as well, please. Yeah, we have to do
- 8:04Speaker 1: all of the work for them. We've got to always
- 8:06Speaker 1: crack out our monocles and figure out out Lord Jesus, Okay,
- 8:11Speaker 1: next thing I wanted to talk about was a blind
- 8:14Speaker 1: item on Crazy Days and Nights, which is a website
- 8:17Speaker 1: where they release all this information about celebrities and reality
- 8:22Speaker 1: TV stars and such without actually telling people who it's about,
- 8:26Speaker 1: so people guess, ah, so this was one of these
- 8:29Speaker 1: blind items. Reads as follows. Speaking of family reality shows,
- 8:34Speaker 1: the patriarch of this family and his chopaholic wife have
- 8:38Speaker 1: been digging into trust accounts to fuel their shopping addiction.
- 8:44Speaker 1: The patriarch is also getting ready for divorce and has
- 8:47Speaker 1: already found a woman nearly three decades younger than him
- 8:51Speaker 1: who is willing to be his wife. No way, So no,
- 8:56Speaker 1: My question is like, do we believe any part of that?
- 9:00Speaker 1: What do we believe none of that? What do you think?
- 9:03Speaker 2: I mean? I don't believe the part that he could
- 9:06Speaker 2: find a woman three three decades younger than him to
- 9:09Speaker 2: fuck him or date him.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Nobody would want to die. I think people really want
- 9:13Speaker 1: to be on television. I think people really want to
- 9:17Speaker 1: be famous, and there's a lot some people will do
- 9:20Speaker 1: to get that fame.
- 9:21Speaker 2: That's cringe af But I do believe the shopoholic thing.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I could totally see some shit like.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That trust funds, Like what kind of trusts were set up?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Well, maybe they set up trusts for like kids or
- 9:34Speaker 2: do we think that they did that. I don't know.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I mean, they could have said so, but then they
- 9:37Speaker 2: could have been dipping into it this whole entire time,
- 9:39Speaker 2: or like family trusts.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Or Yeah, I'm wondering if they're calling the LLC or
- 9:43Speaker 1: the Global Family Fund. Yeah, a trust as opposed to
- 9:48Speaker 1: the LLCAH and that it's starting to come out is
- 9:52Speaker 1: starting to be leaked and by whom I don't know,
- 9:54Speaker 1: but it's starting to be leaked that he had his
- 9:57Speaker 1: fingers in that honeypot.
- 10:00Speaker 2: My god, I mean we've been knowing. Yeah, like we
- 10:02Speaker 2: saw their house go up for sale, and we saw
- 10:05Speaker 2: all their bullshit in that house. That's thousands upon thousands
- 10:08Speaker 2: upon thousands of dollars, right, So, yeah, they have been
- 10:11Speaker 2: dipping into it. They've totally been laundering money. So I mean,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I believe that, I believe that their financial situation is
- 10:19Speaker 2: way worse than what we think it is. That's why
- 10:21Speaker 2: Cody's on cameo. That's why Robin and them are selling
- 10:25Speaker 2: their house.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Which is why I have a really hard time believing
- 10:29Speaker 1: that they are upgrading into a four million dollar home
- 10:32Speaker 1: in Flag stuff, Like, I just find that so hard
- 10:34Speaker 1: to believe. And if they are. Then, Yes, there's some
- 10:37Speaker 1: sort of funny money that's happening in this family, and
- 10:39Speaker 1: they've been siphoning it for quite some time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Definitely, I agree.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. There was another blind item on Crazy
- 10:46Speaker 1: Days and Nights, probably a week before this one, which
- 10:50Speaker 1: in effect I didn't actually pull it because I don't
- 10:52Speaker 1: believe it and it's actually pretty unseemly, but it basically
- 10:56Speaker 1: implied that Cody was dating Aurora and that it was
- 11:01Speaker 1: Aurora his stepdaughter that was going to be his next wife.
- 11:05Speaker 2: That's disgusting.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it was pretty obvious that that's what the website
- 11:10Speaker 1: was implying. But I'm like, that cannot be right.
- 11:14Speaker 2: That's a fucking vibe, of course, not that has to
- 11:16Speaker 2: be fake. Yeah, I hope that's fake. Holy shit, Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 2: that would be so bad.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I did see that some people posted it around the
- 11:23Speaker 1: Internet and a lot of people got pissed off that
- 11:25Speaker 1: anybody would even suggest that that's possible. Yeah, but I mean,
- 11:28Speaker 1: this is Cody Brown, and we're not above calling Cody
- 11:31Speaker 1: Brown out for his narcissistic, poisonous, bullshit su And while
- 11:35Speaker 1: I don't think that that would happen, if it did happen,
- 11:38Speaker 1: would I be shocked. I mean yes, but I mean no, I.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Mean yeah, I agree, but no. Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And the last thing we wanted to talk about is
- 11:46Speaker 1: kind of a positive thing recently. I don't know if
- 11:49Speaker 1: you've noticed, but the Mary Brown has lost a lot
- 11:54Speaker 1: of weight. Now, there's always some online publication writing an
- 11:58Speaker 1: article about how skinny Janelle is and how skinny Christinas
- 12:01Speaker 1: and I look and him like they look the same,
- 12:03Speaker 1: they look exactly the same. Yeah, but I saw some
- 12:06Speaker 1: of these articles about Mary and I went and checked
- 12:08Speaker 1: it out. And you know what, Mary has lost a
- 12:10Speaker 1: lot of weight. I would say, probably like what seventy pounds.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, or one hundred and eighty pounds like Tony Brown. Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah. And so let's put up some of these
- 12:19Speaker 1: pictures right here. I think we have two or three pictures.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I just think she looks fantastic.
- 12:26Speaker 2: She looks so much happier. Like literally, I'm happy for her.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I am happy as well.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Get you a butch lesbian and or mean on a motorcycle,
- 12:35Speaker 2: get that box eight. That would be so great.
- 12:40Speaker 1: We would love that for her. But I mean, it's
- 12:42Speaker 1: not just her body being slimmer, it's just her vibe. Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 1: vipe it's her energy, like she really does seem like
- 12:49Speaker 1: she's in such a better place. Yes, and I know
- 12:52Speaker 1: I think she's renovating the airbnb, so that's out of
- 12:56Speaker 1: commission for a little while. But she's still having her
- 12:57Speaker 1: little Halloween thing that she does on a yearly basis.
- 13:01Speaker 1: She's got her friends around her, she's looking great, she's traveling,
- 13:04Speaker 1: she's doing her ain't shit bullshit worthy of seminars. But
- 13:08Speaker 1: go get your bag. I'm happy for you.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It seems like she's actually taking her advice now she's
- 13:13Speaker 2: hashtag worthying up. Yes, so that's great.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So we love to see it.
- 13:17Speaker 2: We do love to see it.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Congratulations Mary Brown, congrats. Alright, that's all I have on
- 13:21Speaker 1: the Sister Wives.
- 13:22Speaker 2: That was good. Yeah, I can't wait for I am
- 13:25Speaker 2: ready for the day. Oh my god. It's going to
- 13:27Speaker 2: be so infuriating, I know, but I know you're for it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: And I think they're going to use a lot of
- 13:32Speaker 1: that old footage. I think we're going to start off
- 13:34Speaker 1: the season looking at footage directly from last year.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yep.
- 13:37Speaker 1: It's gonna be frustrating, it's gonna be cobbled together, But
- 13:40Speaker 1: I'm just glad to be home in the duster with
- 13:43Speaker 1: everybody watching.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's been so long.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, let's get into Welcome to Plaithvill Season six,
- 13:50Speaker 1: episode nine, Yeah, entitled That's what walls are for?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Oh okay a lot Kim Plath.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that was so weird over god.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Well, there's only been like, there's only three things that
- 14:02Speaker 2: happened in this episode. Yeah, Olivia and Lydia go speed dating.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I'm a's no, nobody cares at all. The whole Plath
- 14:11Speaker 2: family is under one roof that Mariah rented some Airbnb
- 14:15Speaker 2: or something.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Some booty ass Tampa airbnb.
- 14:18Speaker 2: But all right, yeah for her music video for her album.
- 14:22Speaker 2: And then the whole family minus Kim is at the
- 14:25Speaker 2: recording studio with Mariah, and then Mariah and Ethan do
- 14:29Speaker 2: a duet together.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Yes, that's basically it. Yep.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But the whole Olivia and Lydia speed dating thing, yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I'm like, why do we need to see this if
- 14:39Speaker 2: you have a whole ass boyfriend.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I feel like we're saying that every single week.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I just don't understand these.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Produced scenes with Olivia and her sister Lydia Grace, which
- 14:50Speaker 1: is just filling time. Yeah, it's just eating up. The
- 14:52Speaker 1: minutes are we really learning anything that's authentic that's not interesting,
- 14:58Speaker 1: absolutely not. I don't need to see these lame dudes
- 15:01Speaker 1: sitting across from you from North Dakota, and what if
- 15:05Speaker 1: we're having stupid conversations. I've done that enough in my youth.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I don't need to watch you do it, Olivia, And
- 15:11Speaker 1: for what, just so that she can have an interstitial
- 15:15Speaker 1: in which she addresses the camera and talks.
- 15:17Speaker 2: About branded branded You know how.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Much better Brandon actually is. I mean, we'relely just talking
- 15:24Speaker 1: and stuff, but I love how he's so sexually liberate.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And none of these guys that I'm speed dating right
- 15:31Speaker 1: now because production is making us. Some of these guys
- 15:34Speaker 1: can hold a candle to Brandon.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Of course, and then we can hear more about how
- 15:39Speaker 2: Olivia is so dorky and quirky and unique. I love
- 15:42Speaker 2: to go to music a nerd. I like to I
- 15:45Speaker 2: love to go to spelling bees, like, shut the fuck up.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm not like other girls. My god, I literally hate it.
- 15:54Speaker 2: But I did find it interesting the interactions between Lydia,
- 15:58Speaker 2: Grace and Olivia, because I think, in my opinion, I
- 16:02Speaker 2: think Lydia hates Olivia. I feel like they don't like
- 16:05Speaker 2: each other. I feel like Lydia is making jabs at
- 16:09Speaker 2: her Olivia makes jabs at her back. It's super weird,
- 16:13Speaker 2: and I think Lydia's low key a little bitter that
- 16:16Speaker 2: Olivia breaks out of this marriage, seven year long marriage,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and she's not even like having fun being single. She
- 16:24Speaker 2: immediately goes for some weirdo on the East Coast and
- 16:28Speaker 2: is like, so sprung over him and his pink shirt.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Will get to it and his noodle alarms and the
- 16:34Speaker 1: pink Sure, I love a pink shirt on a man.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Oh I love a pink shirt too. Okay, but I mean,
- 16:38Speaker 2: like he needs to work out. Okay, not everybody.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Goes to the Planet Fitness Beatrice. Okay, she works out.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I know I'm just but I mean from his arms
- 16:51Speaker 2: compared to Ethan's arms, Like you know what I mean,
- 16:54Speaker 2: that's not.
- 16:55Speaker 1: It's a body, not Easton, but exactly in those wranglers
- 17:00Speaker 1: and the everry things. I'm saying, it's got a bad
- 17:03Speaker 1: that he's working with. Maybe Brandon does too. We just
- 17:06Speaker 1: have to see him. But I can just guarantee he's
- 17:09Speaker 1: gonna be a dut.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I think he's gonna be so late.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Why is Olivia so sprung. I why as Olivia's like,
- 17:14Speaker 1: take a few years, continue on your therapy journey. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 1: continue to work on yourself and travel the world and
- 17:21Speaker 1: meet men in Italy, meet men in Spain, meet men
- 17:24Speaker 1: in Scotland, honey, real, have a great time, and then
- 17:28Speaker 1: start thinking about settling down with somebody. But she's already
- 17:31Speaker 1: thinking about settling down according to her igs.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yes on our igs. Who's talking about living with him?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Honey?
- 17:38Speaker 2: And I'm like, what are we doing? Though?
- 17:40Speaker 1: This is how we know she's not as advanced as
- 17:43Speaker 1: she would like us to believe, because if she were,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and if she had been going to therapy this entire time,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and if she was continuing to do therapy even now,
- 17:50Speaker 1: she would know that that is a bad move. And
- 17:53Speaker 1: I think we're going to have Lydia Grace next week.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I think in the season finale. I'm not sure. I
- 17:57Speaker 1: think it's the season finale. Lydia Grace is gonna say, yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 1: she's moving too fast, like slow it down, pumped these breaks,
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I feel like Lydia is a little annoyed with her
- 18:07Speaker 2: because it's like, come on, dude, like we're supposed to
- 18:09Speaker 2: be single together, like I left my dope boyfriend. You
- 18:11Speaker 2: left your dope husband, Like, let's go and have our
- 18:14Speaker 2: hoe fays, Like, let's live our lives. But then there
- 18:18Speaker 2: was a comment that Lydia made after the speed dating
- 18:20Speaker 2: where she's like, I want to have like we're bookmarks
- 18:23Speaker 2: in my pages, you know, like whatever, and Olivia was like, well,
- 18:26Speaker 2: that's like called a body count, right. It felt a
- 18:29Speaker 2: little shady.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Slut shamey, Yes, little slut shame there's that superiority that
- 18:36Speaker 1: we call out so often with Olivia. Yeah, there are
- 18:39Speaker 1: little glimpses of the actual relationship between these two sisters. Now,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I don't know if Lydia Grace hates her, but I
- 18:47Speaker 1: do wonder why she's agreeing to come and do these
- 18:50Speaker 1: scenes other than for the paycheck and for the fame. Yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 1: that would be the only It's not a huge paycheck
- 18:54Speaker 1: though I know it's the fame. Yeah, And I'm bored.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I'm so bored.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I don't believe it. It's so fake, believable.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But we get to see her boyfriend, Olivia's boyfriend in
- 19:06Speaker 2: Sodona next week. Next week, so we get to have
- 19:09Speaker 2: an actual read on him.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Oh, we are going to read that boy we're going
- 19:13Speaker 1: to read that. Boy, I'm sorry, I have a lot
- 19:15Speaker 1: to compare to because I mean we're talking about Ethan Plath.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like it's that much improve it.
- 19:23Speaker 1: No, Actually we're going to compare him.
- 19:25Speaker 2: To her, Yes, because she's a goddess.
- 19:27Speaker 1: She's a goddess, she's intelligent, she has a lot of potential.
- 19:30Speaker 1: She's dorky, she's dorky and quirky, unique, she likes spelling bees.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And yes, I'm going to have that monocle out the
- 19:36Speaker 1: entire time. Can we also talk about that throwaway scene
- 19:41Speaker 1: with Micah and his girlfriend Veronica where they are packing
- 19:45Speaker 1: because they are going to be meeting the entire family
- 19:47Speaker 1: in Testa for Maria's video. But here again we have
- 19:52Speaker 1: this very strange, awkward turtle snapshot of their relationship in
- 19:58Speaker 1: which Veronica seems to be bossing him around and condescending
- 20:02Speaker 1: to him about the way that he's folding her dress
- 20:06Speaker 1: and where he is hanging his metal. And I just
- 20:10Speaker 1: want to say, again for the record, like, please Micah
- 20:13Speaker 1: run seriously, it's not that Veronica's a bad person. I
- 20:17Speaker 1: again say, she's very socially awkward, at least on camera.
- 20:20Speaker 1: She just doesn't seem comfortable, but the way she treats
- 20:23Speaker 1: him and talks to him is shitty, and he should
- 20:27Speaker 1: not stay in this relationship because it only gets worse
- 20:30Speaker 1: from here.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yep, unless you guys go to a couple's therapy or
- 20:33Speaker 2: something and somebody can call her out for how she
- 20:36Speaker 2: talks to him. But I'm like, girl, it doesn't matter
- 20:38Speaker 2: how he hangs up his shit. You guys live together.
- 20:41Speaker 2: That's part of living with another person. You gotta get
- 20:44Speaker 2: used to all their stuff right everywhere, Like what are
- 20:47Speaker 2: we doing? And then in the preview between her and
- 20:50Speaker 2: kim Plath, I'm like, this is kim Plath two point oh.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Well, yeah, coming up against and going ahead to head
- 20:57Speaker 1: with the original Kima. Who's going to win that argument?
- 21:01Speaker 1: Like she's gonna have to back down? But I think
- 21:03Speaker 1: we're going to see her nature, I.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Mean, her facial expressions. I'm like, you're given attitude.
- 21:08Speaker 1: This is your potential mom in law at some point,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and it's not like you should always defer to your
- 21:13Speaker 1: mom in law, although you should, Yeah you should, I do,
- 21:16Speaker 1: you don't, I do, no, But I mean, like, you know,
- 21:20Speaker 1: that's just it takes time to have a relationship. With
- 21:23Speaker 1: this very important person in your life. And it's just
- 21:26Speaker 1: this seems kind of weird. Oh yeah, like they're battling
- 21:29Speaker 1: for power already.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah. But in this scene with Micah, Veronica saying
- 21:33Speaker 2: how much she loves the Plaths, how she thinks all
- 21:36Speaker 2: of them, emphasis on all every single one is a
- 21:39Speaker 2: good person.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Beautiful people, beautiful people, beautiful, beautiful people.
- 21:44Speaker 2: She loves them, She's met them a million times. And
- 21:47Speaker 2: Kim a couple episodes ago, was talking about how she
- 21:50Speaker 2: loves Veronica, and so.
- 21:51Speaker 1: My raccoon brain just goes immediately we ask you to travel,
- 21:54Speaker 1: we remote view right to La and I wonder what
- 21:57Speaker 1: Olivia's thinking is she's watching that on the televis. She's
- 22:01Speaker 1: so jealous, she's seeing this girl take pains to say
- 22:04Speaker 1: that this family is actually great. I actually really love
- 22:07Speaker 1: this family because the only person who had such a
- 22:10Speaker 1: huge problem was Olivia. That's what the subtext is, Yes,
- 22:14Speaker 1: is that Olivia hated all these people.
- 22:16Speaker 2: But why But I mean it's true though, like she
- 22:18Speaker 2: did hate them, Like why because you hate your own family, Olivia.
- 22:21Speaker 1: If you're listening, well, there's a lot that they did wrong,
- 22:24Speaker 1: But we don't have to go backwards. We're not going backwards,
- 22:27Speaker 1: oh God.
- 22:31Speaker 2: And then we have all the family at this weird
- 22:33Speaker 2: AIRBND for Mariah's music video Honey. It's Kim and her
- 22:37Speaker 2: sugar body there first, with Isaac and Mariah. Barry and
- 22:41Speaker 2: Ethan come by later. Yeah, and then the others come
- 22:44Speaker 2: by at some point. Mercy and Cassie are some there
- 22:46Speaker 2: at friend's house and I don't care, right, but Kim's there,
- 22:50Speaker 2: she sure is. She takes the master bedroom. She does.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Listen, let's start right here, please with my just I'm
- 23:01Speaker 1: out of sorts here. I'm just like, I'm just compelled
- 23:04Speaker 1: to say, like Kim, if I were you, okay, after
- 23:08Speaker 1: I threw a whole grenade into the center of this family,
- 23:12Speaker 1: and I destroyed the structure that they had come to
- 23:15Speaker 1: depend upon, and I hurt these little kids, and I
- 23:18Speaker 1: heard this man hurt these kids, I wouldn't be like,
- 23:22Speaker 1: well what about me, Like I've got my stuff in
- 23:24Speaker 1: the bedroom already, like Ramona Singer, like I get the
- 23:27Speaker 1: best bedroom. I wouldn't be giving Barry attitude after I
- 23:31Speaker 1: cheated on him and slept with the drunk and racist
- 23:34Speaker 1: kid Balmer and crashed my car into a tree, Okay, yeah,
- 23:40Speaker 1: I would not ignore Barry as he's trying to make
- 23:44Speaker 1: polite conversation over breakfast. She's just completely not even saying
- 23:49Speaker 1: a word to him, like she's pissed at him. I
- 23:51Speaker 1: even wrote you. I'm like, but why, like, why do
- 23:53Speaker 1: you hate him so much? Why aren't you ingratiating yourself
- 23:57Speaker 1: to all of these people that you destroyed?
- 23:59Speaker 2: You?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you destroy these people.
- 24:03Speaker 2: And Ethan even calls that out because he's like, I
- 24:06Speaker 2: don't even know how my parents are doing it, but
- 24:08Speaker 2: I think it's really awesome that they're like trying to
- 24:10Speaker 2: be cordial and they're in the same house, because if
- 24:13Speaker 2: it was me and Olivia, it would be toxic, it
- 24:15Speaker 2: would be terrible. And he's like, he said something very poignant.
- 24:19Speaker 2: He's like, after everything I've heard, I don't know how
- 24:22Speaker 2: my dad is doing it.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Hmmm.
- 24:24Speaker 2: And I'm like, ooh, that means Barry's telling the kids,
- 24:27Speaker 2: the older kids. Yeah, yeah, your mom's a cheat nas ho.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Well, and he also reads the US Sun. Yeah, he
- 24:34Speaker 1: also reads Peoplefucking dot Com. Yeah, so he knows his
- 24:37Speaker 1: mom got a duy. He knows his mom is with
- 24:39Speaker 1: Ken Palmer. He's also probably up on Reddit where all
- 24:42Speaker 1: the sleuths are finding Ken Palmer's Facebook and all of
- 24:45Speaker 1: his racist posts. He has already seen his mother's munk shot. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: and he was one of the eldest, so he had
- 24:50Speaker 1: most of the years in with this woman preaching all
- 24:54Speaker 1: the time about how he should act and what he
- 24:56Speaker 1: should do and who he should turn out to be
- 24:58Speaker 1: as a man. So he's one of the kids who
- 25:00Speaker 1: has the right to be the most pissed off.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Oh, totally.
- 25:04Speaker 1: That's why I don't understand Kim's position here. There's like
- 25:08Speaker 1: no humility, none at all.
- 25:10Speaker 2: It's really crazy to see. I'm like, why are you
- 25:12Speaker 2: treating Barry so fucking poorly? Maybe there's some shit we
- 25:16Speaker 2: don't know in their divorce negotiations.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I think that's what it is, Like, it's.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Got to be something like that, Like he's probably fighting
- 25:22Speaker 2: for I think we've read an article a couple weeks
- 25:25Speaker 2: ago about custody, right, Yes.
- 25:26Speaker 1: So let's break this down because at the time that
- 25:28Speaker 1: this is being filmed, it looks like it's winter either
- 25:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty three or twenty twenty four. Now, Kim did
- 25:35Speaker 1: not file for divorce until I think June of twenty
- 25:38Speaker 1: twenty four. Just a couple two three months ago, so
- 25:41Speaker 1: they were maybe talking, Maybe they were trying to mediate
- 25:45Speaker 1: and come to some sort of an agreement about who
- 25:48Speaker 1: gets what property, who gets a little bit of child support,
- 25:52Speaker 1: where did the kids get to live? And maybe those
- 25:55Speaker 1: conversations are kind of falling through. Wasn't there something that
- 25:58Speaker 1: Barry said about making Olivia wait for the divorce papers
- 26:03Speaker 1: with Ian?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah, making him wait so that way you guys could
- 26:07Speaker 2: figure everything out or somebody he.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Had like a wicked little gleam in his eyes, like, yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 1: just make her weight, it's okay, as if that's exactly
- 26:14Speaker 1: what he's doing with Maybe so maybe he's like playing
- 26:17Speaker 1: some games and or just not giving Kim what she wants.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Honestly, good, good good. I love it. She ruined the family,
- 26:25Speaker 2: so I mean, yeah, fuck this pit.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I think that's why she's pissed right now, probably in
- 26:29Speaker 1: these scenes and the fact that she doesn't file for
- 26:33Speaker 1: actual divorce, I think for six months after these scenes
- 26:37Speaker 1: and then we saw his response to her petition in
- 26:40Speaker 1: which he is asking for primary custody of the littles
- 26:43Speaker 1: plus child support. Love it, and I'm wondering how the
- 26:46Speaker 1: properties I'm wondering how he wants to split everything. Oh,
- 26:50Speaker 1: I just wish I had more details. That's why though,
- 26:53Speaker 1: that's why she's pissed.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, oh definitely, and she feels like he's not owed
- 26:57Speaker 2: to any of that. She probably wants a Honestly, I
- 27:01Speaker 2: couldn't put it past kim Blath, want child's port alimony,
- 27:05Speaker 2: want half of the rental properties or more like, she's
- 27:08Speaker 2: probably asking for a lot, and Barry's like, fuck you.
- 27:12Speaker 2: And he's like a smart guy, he's not stupid. So
- 27:15Speaker 2: he's probably playing the cool, calm, collected little cucumber over there,
- 27:20Speaker 2: just playing chess with her, and she's just drinking.
- 27:24Speaker 1: And she's drinking and she's trying to heal her relationships
- 27:28Speaker 1: with her children, whereas her children just flock to Barry. Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and he's like the number one parent and she's seeing
- 27:35Speaker 1: all of this and so yeah, that's why she's eating
- 27:37Speaker 1: that sugar, drinking that booze, and making that breakfast as
- 27:41Speaker 1: hard as she can. Oh my gosh.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I loved how Mariah like once Barry came in, she
- 27:48Speaker 2: immediately offers the master bedroom. I'm like, damn, yeah, you
- 27:52Speaker 2: got some balls to just do that in front of
- 27:54Speaker 2: your mom. But like that just shows that where the
- 27:57Speaker 2: kids are at with Kim. But then we have Mariah
- 28:00Speaker 2: with Kim talking about her alopecia. So I'm like, okay, like,
- 28:04Speaker 2: maybe you are having a good relationship with your mom.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I thought Kim handled that pretty okay.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I do as well. I think Mariah is trying to
- 28:10Speaker 1: regain a new relationship with Kim, and so she's giving
- 28:15Speaker 1: her these opportunities to be there for her. I wouldn't
- 28:18Speaker 1: be surprised if she also had similar conversations with Barry
- 28:21Speaker 1: and shared with him how she's feeling about herself. But
- 28:24Speaker 1: I did think that this particular scene was poignant, yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and meaningful, And I think Kim did the best that
- 28:30Speaker 1: she can do as a venomous narcissist, yeah, to get
- 28:34Speaker 1: out of her own way and show up for her
- 28:36Speaker 1: daughter somewhat. Like I saw some wetness in her eyes.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I guess. I know her eyeliner was much. I saw that,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and I'm making light of it. I think she loves Mariah, Yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I think she doesn't necessarily know how to mom like that. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: I don't think she feels like she's uncomfortable a little bit,
- 28:54Speaker 1: and she's trying the best that she can in the moment.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she's, like everybody else in the family,
- 28:59Speaker 2: uncomfortable with vulnerability. I think she just doesn't know how
- 29:02Speaker 2: to like be empathetic. Maybe that's from her narcissistic tendencies probably,
- 29:08Speaker 2: But I thought she had alled it pretty good. I
- 29:09Speaker 2: thought she was like trying to comfort her and she
- 29:11Speaker 2: was telling Mariah that she's so beautiful and stuff. I
- 29:14Speaker 2: felt really bad for Mariah losing all her fucking hair.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was brave of Mariah, who is
- 29:21Speaker 1: objectively a beautiful young lady, to sit on that bed
- 29:25Speaker 1: and allow the camera to kind of pan around and
- 29:28Speaker 1: show these alopecia bald spots on her head, and like
- 29:32Speaker 1: to be so open about her struggle. And of course
- 29:35Speaker 1: she's connecting her alopecia in specific to heartbreak. Yeah, she's
- 29:40Speaker 1: identified that when she feels heartbroken, that's when she has,
- 29:43Speaker 1: like her body has this response of shedding hair. She
- 29:48Speaker 1: had some of this when she broke up with Max,
- 29:50Speaker 1: but it wasn't a lot. I think the first time
- 29:53Speaker 1: she lost all of her hair was after Joshua passed,
- 29:55Speaker 1: because she saw it, right.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I think, so. Yeah, that's what people are saying online.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I don't know if she she's like said that outright
- 30:01Speaker 2: as the cause. But she said that that's when she
- 30:03Speaker 2: lost her hair, was like when she was around four
- 30:06Speaker 2: and then didn't come back until she was eight. So
- 30:08Speaker 2: I think that's what people are saying.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It is, like, yeah, and I think when she talked
- 30:11Speaker 1: about the alopecia, was it last season or whenever it
- 30:15Speaker 1: was when we saw like the whole journey. I think
- 30:18Speaker 1: she might have connected it to Joshua, but I don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: recall for sure.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I don't remember it, Okay, yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah, But I mean, so what this is setting up
- 30:26Speaker 1: for the rest of us is that this relationship that
- 30:30Speaker 1: she was in with this mystery man who we get
- 30:32Speaker 1: into a little bit later in the show, like that
- 30:35Speaker 1: breakup really affected her and broke her heart. Yeah, it's
- 30:38Speaker 1: been a traumatic thing for her to endure, and as
- 30:41Speaker 1: a result, she's losing her hair. And it's sad.
- 30:43Speaker 2: It's actually really sad. And I'm seeing people coming from
- 30:45Speaker 2: Mariah on Instagram and on Reddit and saying she's like
- 30:49Speaker 2: a just a professional victim and she's just making this
- 30:52Speaker 2: all like a drama thing, and I'm like, y'all are heartless. Yeah,
- 30:56Speaker 2: y'all are terrible people, because I think she's actually being
- 31:00Speaker 2: brave to say here and cry and show her balding head,
- 31:03Speaker 2: Like I don't know, I don't fucking have alopecia, right,
- 31:06Speaker 2: I'm a leo. If I lost all this beautiful hair,
- 31:09Speaker 2: I'm so sad.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Yes, what does the Bible say about a woman's hair.
- 31:13Speaker 1: It's like the crown of her beauty. It's like just
- 31:16Speaker 1: the pinnacle it is. It's what a woman has the
- 31:19Speaker 1: vanity in like, it's her hair. It can be not everybody,
- 31:23Speaker 1: but like, it can be a very devastating thing to
- 31:25Speaker 1: lose your hair or to have a change. Like after
- 31:27Speaker 1: I gave birth to my daughter, your wife, I got
- 31:30Speaker 1: very sick. I was in a coma, I was septic.
- 31:33Speaker 1: It was a drag, yeah, and I ended up losing
- 31:36Speaker 1: two thirds of my hair and I ended up just
- 31:39Speaker 1: shaving it, not shaving it, but like almost cutting it
- 31:41Speaker 1: all off. And then I died it blonde. It was
- 31:43Speaker 1: a whole thing. My then husband was so traumatized by
- 31:47Speaker 1: my Brigitte Nielsen a new PERSONA. Wow, it was really
- 31:52Speaker 1: difficult for me as a very beautiful woman.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Yeah, true, joking, no, but it was. It was.
- 31:58Speaker 1: It was hard for me as a woman who was
- 32:00Speaker 1: attached to the way that I looked in a certain way.
- 32:04Speaker 1: To suddenly not have that and not know how to
- 32:07Speaker 1: deal with that, it was really painful. It was a
- 32:09Speaker 1: huge adjustment for me. I ended up cutting it all off.
- 32:12Speaker 1: And I can see that pain in Mariah too. And
- 32:15Speaker 1: she's a young girl. She's so pretty.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I mean, she is so pretty, and I feel bad
- 32:18Speaker 2: for her. This is obviously taking a toll. Do we
- 32:21Speaker 2: want to talk about a relationship right now, her relationship.
- 32:25Speaker 1: With the guy? Yeah, well I just want to be yes.
- 32:27Speaker 1: But before I do, I just want to comment and
- 32:28Speaker 1: say that I think people are attaching Mariah's persona and
- 32:34Speaker 1: her morose and depressed affect to the alopecia, and they
- 32:39Speaker 1: probably should separate those two things, because they do. Wish
- 32:42Speaker 1: Mariah would like, maybe take an antidepresson or something in
- 32:45Speaker 1: perkap or I don't know, to start getting out in
- 32:47Speaker 1: the sunshine, hod of you're looking like a vampire and stuff,
- 32:50Speaker 1: and just get out and live life. You're young, you're beautiful,
- 32:53Speaker 1: you're free. I wish you felt that way, because you
- 32:55Speaker 1: do seem really really dark a lot of the time. Totally,
- 32:59Speaker 1: but that's a separate thing from and so maybe people
- 33:01Speaker 1: are associating her with being a victim because of that,
- 33:04Speaker 1: but the alopecia is a separate thing.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I agree. Yeah, And like this whole album is like
- 33:08Speaker 2: super depressing. Oh. Also, she recently just removed or archived
- 33:13Speaker 2: every single post on Instagram, so she's got like no posts. Okay,
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't know why. I don't know what the reason is.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I think she's also unfollowed a lot of people from
- 33:22Speaker 2: the Plath family really, except for like Micah. I think.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I don't know, y'all can fact check me.
- 33:28Speaker 1: But yeah, did she get back with the married man?
- 33:30Speaker 1: I don't know, honey girl.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Interesting, Yeah, so that just recently happened. I don't know
- 33:37Speaker 2: if it was like after this episode or before, but
- 33:40Speaker 2: I thought that was kind of strange.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, well, now let's get to the studio.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yes, where she's recording her album that she's poured her
- 33:51Speaker 2: hearts al a dude and it's a letter to her ex.
- 33:55Speaker 2: She wants him to listen to it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: That killed me it literally, okay, figuratively killed because I'm like,
- 34:01Speaker 1: don't say that. Though you never let them see you
- 34:03Speaker 1: sweat my daughter. I never let them see you sweat.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It might be true you might be writing this for
- 34:09Speaker 1: that man, but you don't want him to know that.
- 34:12Speaker 1: You need him to listen to it to validate how
- 34:15Speaker 1: you feel. I cringed so deep into my body it
- 34:18Speaker 1: became a kegle, which we call a great cagle, and
- 34:22Speaker 1: it was unfortunate, but it's important to her that he does.
- 34:25Speaker 2: And that producer playing her music and being like, yeah,
- 34:28Speaker 2: I really love this song.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a really dope song.
- 34:31Speaker 2: September is like my favorite song on the All Kids,
- 34:33Speaker 2: so good.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And then she warbles it out like they play it
- 34:38Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh god, I don't want to start cutting,
- 34:40Speaker 1: but I might ask you. I'm just joking. Is that terrible?
- 34:44Speaker 1: I apologize, but I just like start whipping myself like
- 34:47Speaker 1: those moms with the whips and stuff. Liked she it's
- 34:51Speaker 1: like a fucking religious sacrifice I'm.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Making to listen to your music right, so bad and
- 34:57Speaker 3: the producer being like, yeah, it's got good bone. It's
- 35:00Speaker 3: like we need to fix goals, we need to fix that,
- 35:03Speaker 3: we needed to get some auto tune in there, but yeah,
- 35:05Speaker 3: it's got good bones, good song.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Just really, can someone be honest with Maria No they
- 35:11Speaker 1: can't be because they don't know of good music. Like
- 35:14Speaker 1: these kids didn't come up with a bunch of great music.
- 35:17Speaker 1: They didn't have exposure to Motown, honey. They don't know
- 35:20Speaker 1: anything about Marvin Day or anything. And so all she's
- 35:23Speaker 1: doing maybe she picked up like a Paramour record or
- 35:26Speaker 1: a fly Leaf record, and she's like, oh my god,
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm so inspired, and now here we have Mariah but
- 35:33Speaker 1: I Sean bad. It's just she gets Ethan up to sing.
- 35:39Speaker 1: But before that happens because as they're talking about the
- 35:43Speaker 1: song that she's intentionally playing for them so that they
- 35:45Speaker 1: will hear it. Yes, they start talking about the inspiration
- 35:49Speaker 1: for the song, which is that bum ass dude, and
- 35:51Speaker 1: she gets overcome with eversion, which is the professional victim part.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I think people call out yeah a little bit, and
- 35:57Speaker 1: so she has to I have to leave. I have
- 35:59Speaker 1: to leave the room, right, I know. And so then
- 36:01Speaker 1: she leaves and everybody has a conversation and we get
- 36:04Speaker 1: down to the nitty gritty about this guy, because I've
- 36:06Speaker 1: been calling it all season, yeap, I've been telling you all.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Have you been listening?
- 36:09Speaker 2: This man is a married man, one.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Whole wife. He probably has some kids and stuff and
- 36:16Speaker 1: he does, and here we learn that that's exactly what's
- 36:19Speaker 1: going on.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Which is just amazing to me. I mean so great,
- 36:24Speaker 2: I mean not great for Mariah, Like it's pretty.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Sad, that's what it sounded like. You were.
- 36:27Speaker 2: No, it's just like it's funny because we called it
- 36:30Speaker 2: like we've been saying it, like it's randall emmett.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I mean, it's totally what kind of TV could we
- 36:35Speaker 1: have made if you just said that at the top
- 36:37Speaker 1: and then we worked through the shit through the whole
- 36:39Speaker 1: season on.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I mean deep am I nine episodes of her cryptic
- 36:45Speaker 2: ass being like, yeah, it was such a horrible traumatic
- 36:47Speaker 2: heartbreak and everybody's guessing and everybody, i mean Redda's been
- 36:51Speaker 2: calling it too. It's like, girl, why didn't we just
- 36:54Speaker 2: say it? I mean, and her leaving the room and
- 36:57Speaker 2: the producer leaving the room felt super stage to me. Yes,
- 36:59Speaker 2: it felt like TLC was like, yeah, I leave the
- 37:01Speaker 2: room and be ultraumatic. So the way the family can
- 37:03Speaker 2: talk about it, so we can you know, propel the narrative.
- 37:06Speaker 2: And Barry's just talking about how he's a master deceiver.
- 37:09Speaker 2: He met him once thought he was a stand up guy,
- 37:12Speaker 2: but then I'm like, how can you say that if
- 37:14Speaker 2: this guy didn't want to meet the rest of the family,
- 37:17Speaker 2: like refuse to meet her brothers, refuse to be around her,
- 37:21Speaker 2: I don't know. It seemed very strange to me.
- 37:23Speaker 1: So it sounded like he would set up dates with Mariah,
- 37:27Speaker 1: according to Veronica, and then cancel them at the last
- 37:30Speaker 1: minute after she got all dressed up, or that she
- 37:32Speaker 1: would have her expectations up and then he would dash
- 37:34Speaker 1: them because he had a whole wife and because he
- 37:38Speaker 1: couldn't get away from his whole family, and she had
- 37:41Speaker 1: no idea, because she's a young woman and she doesn't
- 37:43Speaker 1: have the worldly experience of the battle acts like me.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I would have called that in three seconds. I would
- 37:48Speaker 1: have wrapped her at the bar where they were talking to.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Be like he's married, Yeah, he's married, serious, but she
- 37:54Speaker 2: doesn't know no. And that's the fault of Barry and Kim,
- 37:57Speaker 2: Like you raised these kids to be so fucking naive,
- 37:59Speaker 2: like they don't know anything about the world, and now
- 38:02Speaker 2: they're out here getting their hearts broken.
- 38:04Speaker 1: It's all your fault. I we got Mica with Verona.
- 38:08Speaker 1: These kids are making bad choices for.
- 38:10Speaker 2: The terrible choice Kim.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Ye yeah, very very unfortunate. Now correct me if I'm wrong,
- 38:17Speaker 1: because I could have swore I could have swore we
- 38:21Speaker 1: saw a preview, a season preview of some sort of
- 38:24Speaker 1: an event, yes, and an implication that this mystery guy,
- 38:28Speaker 1: the devil in a suit and tie shows up to
- 38:31Speaker 1: her performance, yeah or something. Yeah. But if next episode
- 38:38Speaker 1: is the season finale, are they gonna give us that
- 38:42Speaker 1: or are they not? Maybe it's not the season finale.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Maybe that's wrong information. I checked again. There's no episode
- 38:48Speaker 1: beyond next week.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I don't know, there isn't And it kind of feels
- 38:51Speaker 2: like it's gonna be the season finale because we have
- 38:53Speaker 2: her big lead up to her music video. I feel
- 38:56Speaker 2: like that's we're gonna what we're gonna end on. Is
- 38:58Speaker 2: that maybe a weird proposal between Micah and Veronica, which
- 39:03Speaker 2: would be a bad idea, Yeah, a terrible idea. And
- 39:06Speaker 2: then Olivia and her soft boyfriend in Santa.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Her soft boyfriend, Oh my god, I'm so probably a musician. No,
- 39:16Speaker 1: not a musician. Okay, what do we think he does?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Sting with computers?
- 39:19Speaker 2: Probably it or.
- 39:20Speaker 1: So creative, So I don't know. I think he's maybe
- 39:22Speaker 1: a creative person. He probably wants to be on TV.
- 39:25Speaker 1: He's probably a fucking actor.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I think he's a cloud goblin.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Probably a cloud goblin, probably got facial hair, but inappropriately
- 39:32Speaker 1: lumberjack handsome sons of anarch. Yeah no, he's probably Scott
- 39:36Speaker 1: like he can't even grow a beer.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, more chest hair, but not of facial hairuly wearing motherfucker.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't wait. I can't I do. I can't
- 39:47Speaker 1: wait to see this guy.
- 39:50Speaker 2: But yeah, no, I remember that scene in a preview,
- 39:52Speaker 2: so we better get to see this guy.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I would like to put a pin in it.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But that is not the end of the episode, because,
- 39:59Speaker 1: of course, the end of the episode is Micah and
- 40:01Speaker 1: Ethan because they are doing a collaboration.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Mariah and Ethan.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Sorry, Mariah, I can't keep it together. Mariah and Ethan
- 40:09Speaker 1: sing together, and we can talk about the singing and
- 40:13Speaker 1: the quality thereof. But it was the comment that Ethan
- 40:17Speaker 1: made to the camera in which he says, it's really
- 40:20Speaker 1: cool to be able to sing with my family. I
- 40:23Speaker 1: wasn't able to do them paraphrasing. I wasn't able to
- 40:26Speaker 1: do that because Olivia mocked my family's music. Yes, they
- 40:30Speaker 1: had their Christian traveling band Yep, I would have been
- 40:33Speaker 1: mocking that too. I mean I would have been mocking
- 40:35Speaker 1: that too in my heart. I don't know if i'd
- 40:37Speaker 1: have said it out loud. Yes, But apparently Olivia mocked
- 40:39Speaker 1: the family traveling band and told Ethan outright that he
- 40:43Speaker 1: couldn't sing, which is pretty mean. It's entirely like, that's
- 40:47Speaker 1: so fucking mean, it's a hundred percent mean.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Like we can have a debate on whether or not
- 40:51Speaker 2: she's right. But I feel like he's got a good voice,
- 40:56Speaker 2: do you, I mean, like in a Johnny Cash type
- 40:59Speaker 2: of a way. No, like an off brand Johnny Cash
- 41:01Speaker 2: type of voice.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Seems like he's trying to sound like Johnny Cash, and
- 41:05Speaker 1: like I don't think he's anywhere near Johnny Cash.
- 41:08Speaker 2: But maybe, like if he had encouragement and like support
- 41:12Speaker 2: and he could have practiced at home, like maybe he
- 41:14Speaker 2: could have gotten better.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Maybe, or maybe Olivia was like your dad who said,
- 41:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Beatrice, but you're never going to make it.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You're never gonna be a star.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Well, but my dad didn't tell me I was a
- 41:25Speaker 2: bad singer, because I'm not. I'm a good singer, right,
- 41:28Speaker 2: Like he was just saying, you're not gonna be famous,
- 41:30Speaker 2: because that's a long shot, right, like don't put your
- 41:33Speaker 2: all your eggs in one basket and being a pop star.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Well, maybe she was just trying to adjust his expectations.
- 41:38Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, that's a mean
- 41:40Speaker 1: thing to say. And you can tell by the way
- 41:42Speaker 1: that Ethan is relaying this information that was very hurtful
- 41:45Speaker 1: to him at the time. In fact, he stopped singing
- 41:47Speaker 1: for six years.
- 41:48Speaker 2: That's so sad.
- 41:49Speaker 1: He's only picked up his guitar in the last year
- 41:52Speaker 1: so he could write these unaliving songs which are really
- 41:55Speaker 1: depressed and dark. Yeah, but you gotta get it as somehow,
- 41:58Speaker 1: he said.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I mean, well, in both him and Mariah, I thought
- 42:02Speaker 2: it was interesting they both talk about how music is
- 42:04Speaker 2: so therapeutic for them. And I think that's like a
- 42:07Speaker 2: good thing. Like even if you're bad, that's great. Like
- 42:11Speaker 2: if you have an outlet to like sing your sad
- 42:13Speaker 2: songs or like you know, just get it out. I
- 42:16Speaker 2: think that's awesome. I'm a musician. I love music. Music's
- 42:19Speaker 2: always been my therapy, so like I get it.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Yeah, But Mariah has the added layer of de Lulu
- 42:26Speaker 1: where she thinks that people are going to want to
- 42:29Speaker 1: buy her music and or come to her live performance.
- 42:33Speaker 1: And some of us will because we're in a dumpster
- 42:35Speaker 1: eating trash and we're gonna want to see Mariah Plath
- 42:38Speaker 1: singing her warbling songs. But we're not there because we
- 42:41Speaker 1: think she's a fantastic musician.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Yeah. No, but I admire the creative process she used
- 42:46Speaker 2: to go to college, Yeah, or like get some vocal lessons.
- 42:50Speaker 1: No, just go to college, or go to a trade
- 42:53Speaker 1: school and study. If I'm a welder, where you can
- 42:56Speaker 1: make it, actually welder, you get a trade honey, go
- 42:59Speaker 1: to saying this is not it?
- 43:02Speaker 2: No, I mean yeah, like you can't make a career
- 43:05Speaker 2: out of it. That's why my dad told me. But
- 43:08Speaker 2: don't be pop was like eight, yeah, exactly, And I
- 43:11Speaker 2: still made music. I still play instruments.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But yeah, so Ethan and Mariah sing, they do it
- 43:18Speaker 1: and it's fine. I was sick of it. I was
- 43:22Speaker 1: sick of all the music because I had to listen
- 43:23Speaker 1: to September. I had to hear some other song as well.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Now I'm listening to these two Hitler youth singing into
- 43:28Speaker 1: a microphone.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I want to go.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I'm over the show.
- 43:32Speaker 2: It was so awkward they stop. It was so awkward.
- 43:36Speaker 2: They do one take and the producer's like, yeah, that
- 43:38Speaker 2: was great.
- 43:38Speaker 1: So awesome. I think we got it. Can you leave
- 43:41Speaker 1: now like that?
- 43:42Speaker 2: Producers doing them such a disservice.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it was awesome, we got it so.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Good, amazing vocals. God, But I mean again, I admire
- 43:53Speaker 2: their creative process. That's great. I don't like that everybody's
- 43:56Speaker 2: bullying Mariah for her bad music online, even though that's
- 44:00Speaker 2: what we're kind of doing. But like maybe that's why
- 44:03Speaker 2: she deleted all over shit, m or she deleted all
- 44:06Speaker 2: over stuff in preparation for the album.
- 44:08Speaker 1: That's exactly what it is. Like a lot of artists do.
- 44:11Speaker 3: They do it.
- 44:12Speaker 1: They will delete their whole thing and then they'll come
- 44:14Speaker 1: back with like a new branded yeah page, that's probably
- 44:18Speaker 1: what os and like muse the well, live your best life, Mariah,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I'm rooting for you. Just perk up a little bit, please,
- 44:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, to be one of those terrible people
- 44:27Speaker 1: that tells girls to smile. So I'm not going to,
- 44:29Speaker 1: but I'm just like, if you could just try. Like
- 44:31Speaker 1: she even dogs therapy a little bit. She's like, I mean,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I don't think therapy is gonna help me. It's songwriting.
- 44:36Speaker 1: But if I did go to therapy, I would immediately
- 44:38Speaker 1: go home and write a song about it. I'm like, actually,
- 44:40Speaker 1: you really need therapy. You probably should go to the
- 44:43Speaker 1: really stand to go to therapy every single week. There's
- 44:45Speaker 1: a lot you need to work through, and if you did,
- 44:47Speaker 1: maybe you'd smile.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I mean, God, maybe that's something that their parents parroted
- 44:52Speaker 2: to them. Maybe their parents were like, yeah, no, you
- 44:55Speaker 2: don't need therapy. It's all right.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Whack jobs, Kim the online Naturally Path for Real can
- 45:02Speaker 1: blas the drunk.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Kids fixt.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Let me run up on the website. Seriously, this family's
- 45:12Speaker 1: Craik Craig.
- 45:12Speaker 2: They're whack. But that's like what I love about this show.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And so I'm getting kind of frustrated that the last
- 45:18Speaker 2: several episodes have.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Been so produced, yeah and fake.
- 45:22Speaker 2: It feels like the TLC producers are telling them like,
- 45:24Speaker 2: this is what we should do now, we should do
- 45:26Speaker 2: these fake storylines.
- 45:28Speaker 1: I don't know why they'd go that way. We talked
- 45:30Speaker 1: about this last week. I am greatly displeased if they
- 45:33Speaker 1: continue to do that. I mean, I don't know that
- 45:37Speaker 1: we continue to watch Beatrice.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I mean, I'm probably gonna watch. We're not gonna cover.
- 45:41Speaker 1: It necessarily need to cover it. Yeah, unless they can
- 45:43Speaker 1: get into the good stuff, yes, which they haven't done.
- 45:47Speaker 2: No, they haven't. But we have the preview for next week. Okay,
- 45:50Speaker 2: soy boy, and Olivia and you were coming.
- 45:54Speaker 1: You have so much grace from Mariah, so much grace
- 45:58Speaker 1: from Mariah, but like Olivia gets nothing from you, not
- 46:04Speaker 1: dust from you.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Well, I mean, Olivia's very beautiful, and Sedona's great.
- 46:09Speaker 1: She's beautiful, that's all.
- 46:11Speaker 2: She's a challenged photographer.
- 46:13Speaker 1: She has nothing to do with her own beauty. Yes,
- 46:15Speaker 1: she does well, I mean, but I'm saying like she
- 46:17Speaker 1: was born with it.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, anyway, yeah, anyway, go on, sedonah special guest.
- 46:23Speaker 2: It's her boyfriend. I'm excited to see him and judge
- 46:26Speaker 2: him for everything that he's got to offer me too.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Veronica and Kim Plath have a little power struggle, which
- 46:32Speaker 2: is very interesting to me because I don't know why
- 46:35Speaker 2: Veronica would have so much attitude to Kim fucking.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Black, because she's got a lot of attitude. She's the
- 46:41Speaker 1: girl with a lot of attitude, she really is.
- 46:43Speaker 2: And then we have Maria's music video where she's wearing
- 46:46Speaker 2: a wedding dress or something in a bar, like, what
- 46:49Speaker 2: are we doing? I don't know, were you gonna get
- 46:50Speaker 2: married to this guy?
- 46:51Speaker 1: I think we're cringing. I think that's what we're doing.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I can't wait to see it though.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I think we're reality TV cringing.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'm actually excited to see.
- 46:57Speaker 1: That me as well. I don't know if it is
- 46:59Speaker 1: the fin but either way, what we have to tell
- 47:03Speaker 1: y'all is that our schedule is going to be a
- 47:04Speaker 1: little different next week because of course we have Sister
- 47:06Speaker 1: Wives coming back on Sunday. She works full time every
- 47:10Speaker 1: single day. It is so hard to get hrid of
- 47:12Speaker 1: her father at law.
- 47:13Speaker 2: It is.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Like she can only come like one night a week,
- 47:18Speaker 1: and so we're gonna start recording on Tuesdays, which means
- 47:21Speaker 1: we are going to release content I think Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- 47:26Speaker 1: So next week we're not going to be able to
- 47:28Speaker 1: cover Welcome to Plathfill only Sister Wives.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I know you guys are so sad about it.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Stop cry harder. So we'll only have Sister Wives next week,
- 47:37Speaker 1: and then the week after that we'll have Sister Wives
- 47:39Speaker 1: and the finale. I think of Welcome to plat though,
- 47:42Speaker 1: and then after that, I think we're starting ninety day fiance. Yeah,
- 47:46Speaker 1: we're trying to work that out with her. Very busy,
- 47:52Speaker 1: resentful at all. But is there anything else that we
- 47:56Speaker 1: need to say to these beautiful raccoones be addressed?
- 47:59Speaker 2: Well? If our podcast, I sure hope and plead that
- 48:04Speaker 2: you go to your favorite podcast platform and leave us
- 48:06Speaker 2: a glowing five star review. It really helps us grow
- 48:09Speaker 2: the pod so we can get fatter. Yeah, I appreciate it,
- 48:12Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Now you better make sure I want you to put
