- 2:06Speaker 1: He's announcing a live performance in La at Sofi Stadium
- 2:12Speaker 1: on April third, in honor of my birthday. The show
- 2:19Speaker 1: Build Ye Live in Los Angeles. Boy, I bet they
- 2:24Speaker 1: took a while to come up with that title is
- 2:26Speaker 1: described as the only performance in the city in a
- 2:31Speaker 1: promo image for the event. A website associated with the
- 2:36Speaker 1: concert offers little more information except a directive to pre
- 2:42Speaker 1: save Bully the name of the upcoming album.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Ah Here we Go that checks out.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Previously released preview EPs under the same name were dropped
- 2:55Speaker 1: in June of twenty twenty five. A video posted to
- 3:00Speaker 1: the Instagram Stories takes you to a page with the
- 3:04Speaker 1: album's title, which is set for release this month.
- 3:14Speaker 6: I'm just laughing because you know this was all of course,
- 3:18Speaker 6: obviously it was all planned, like Okay, this is when
- 3:21Speaker 6: we're gonna do the apology, this is when we're gonna
- 3:25Speaker 6: release this.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Give some time.
- 3:27Speaker 2: You're so jaded.
- 3:29Speaker 5: I just don't like him. I know, I don't know.
- 3:33Speaker 5: I know, I don't know him, but like you know,
- 3:36Speaker 5: it doesn't matter and the big stew of things, But
- 3:39Speaker 5: I just do.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Not like him.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:41Speaker 5: I mean, I just don't. I don't.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Hey, you know, it's a free country.
- 3:46Speaker 5: He only passes.
- 3:47Speaker 7: This guy has gotten for just being a horrible, horrible
- 3:50Speaker 7: human being.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Like a horrible human He's gotten some passes. There's no doubt.
- 3:55Speaker 7: I'm not saying he gone through stuff, because I get that,
- 3:58Speaker 7: but I.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Don't know.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So so from from one singer to another, I don't
- 4:07Speaker 1: think we talked about the fact. A couple of weeks ago,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I said, Hey, I'm gonna go to the Elvis movie.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You know that new concert movie I did.
- 4:15Speaker 2: It was excellent. Yeah, it was just excellent.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I thoroughly enjoyed it because it was it really was
- 4:23Speaker 1: mostly concert.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Right, they had they had gone back now. They they had.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Interviews, uh with with Elvis from a long time ago
- 4:34Speaker 1: that had never been seen. They didn't delve a lot
- 4:37Speaker 1: into you know, what we know was a fairly turbulent
- 4:41Speaker 1: personal life near the end.
- 4:44Speaker 2: They didn't do a lot of that.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It was a lot of him singing, and they had
- 4:49Speaker 1: they had video of him preparing his Las Vegas you
- 4:55Speaker 1: know shows, and so I I really enjoyed it. The music,
- 5:01Speaker 1: of course was great and I thought it was really
- 5:04Speaker 1: well done.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's called epic. Las Boerman is a director.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He's done a bunch of you know, famous movies that
- 5:14Speaker 1: epic stands for Elvis Presley in concert. So I didn't
- 5:18Speaker 1: know all of that, but yeah, it may not be around.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I haven't checked, but if you can find it, I
- 5:25Speaker 1: would say find it. You know, Taylor Sheridan is a
- 5:30Speaker 1: really busy guy. He writes a lot of television, right.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I know you're going to be shocked to know he
- 5:38Speaker 1: has a new series coming out. It's called The Madison.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He gave a rare speech last night, joking I can't
- 5:50Speaker 1: stand these things.
- 5:51Speaker 2: At the Lincoln Center.
- 5:53Speaker 1: So for me to be at one means I'm really
- 5:55Speaker 1: proud of the project, which I am. Everyone in here
- 6:00Speaker 1: is either probably involved in this industry or followed it
- 6:03Speaker 1: for a while and knows just how hard it is
- 6:05Speaker 1: to get anything made in this business. Even bad ones
- 6:08Speaker 1: are hard to make, and I don't think we made
- 6:11Speaker 1: a bad one. I'd like to begin by thanking my wife,
- 6:15Speaker 1: who believed in me what no one else did, including myself.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Without her, I'd just be.
- 6:20Speaker 1: The coolest acting coach in LA I'm really glad I'm not.
- 6:27Speaker 1: His latest series starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Oh, I like her.
- 6:32Speaker 1: She can act, and Kurt Russell explained how he moved
- 6:38Speaker 1: to New York in his twenties and had a love
- 6:41Speaker 1: hate relationship with the city. Sometimes you have to leave
- 6:44Speaker 1: a place to really know it and love it, with
- 6:47Speaker 1: The Madison being a story of a family that has
- 6:51Speaker 1: to leave it to learn to love it again. It
- 6:56Speaker 1: follows a New York City family in the Matis Valley
- 7:01Speaker 1: of Central Montana, which you know, he's shot a lot
- 7:06Speaker 1: of his stuff in the West so he uh, he
- 7:11Speaker 1: said it demanded a lot from everyone. Hey, this guy
- 7:17Speaker 1: just has the magic touch. I'm I will watch it.
- 7:21Speaker 1: He does, he does he is very good at what he.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Does and prolific.
- 7:28Speaker 1: My gosh, I don't know how he has time to
- 7:30Speaker 1: write all this stuff.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I mean seriously keeps going.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't shut off, so by the way, it's
- 7:40Speaker 1: going to be on paramount. Plus it doesn't say exactly
- 7:43Speaker 1: when it's coming out, so we'll look for that.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Yeah, yep.
- 7:48Speaker 7: I don't know if you've heard about this, because I
- 7:50Speaker 7: didn't hear about it until recently, but authorities have identified
- 7:53Speaker 7: the woman who allegedly opened fire on Rihanna's.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Oh I heard about heard about.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Fifteen rifle Wow? Uh yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 7: So Ivanna Ortiz, who's thirty five, was arrested following Sunday,
- 8:08Speaker 7: So this past Sunday in the Senate and booked on
- 8:10Speaker 7: suspicion of attempted murder.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Wow.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Her bail has been set for ten point two two
- 8:15Speaker 7: five million.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Wow.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Hey, I've got a I've got a question, and I
- 8:20Speaker 1: I I'm not making light of this situation, but do
- 8:25Speaker 1: you think if a random lady shot at you or
- 8:30Speaker 1: at me, her bail would be ten point two million dollars?
- 8:36Speaker 5: No?
- 8:37Speaker 7: Probably be like, Okay, we're gonna set it at fifty thousand.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:41Speaker 5: If you even Yeah what you know what just yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 5: I mean.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It's like in the middle of Sunday afternoon.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah, it was Sunday.
- 8:50Speaker 7: I want About one fifteen pm, officers responded to a
- 8:53Speaker 7: call about shots fired at the post home. Yeah. Apparently
- 8:58Speaker 7: she allegedly parked car outside of the home and fired
- 9:03Speaker 7: multiple shots before fleeing the scene. So yeah, they did
- 9:08Speaker 7: say she used an Air fifteen type rifle and the
- 9:10Speaker 7: impacts were mainly on the exterior gates and walls. She
- 9:13Speaker 7: was taken into custody after police located her car at
- 9:16Speaker 7: the Sherman Oaks Galley As shopping center, about eight miles
- 9:20Speaker 7: from the home. The weapon was recovered. There were no injuries,
- 9:24Speaker 7: thank god. But wild they don't.
- 9:28Speaker 5: They haven't disclosed a potential motive.
- 9:30Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Well I have to keep you updated on that, but
- 9:34Speaker 5: I mean, I mean that's crazy. Mental health is important.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Let's just say that.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Wow.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Moving on.
- 9:43Speaker 7: Yeh, Taylor, So because we got to throw in one tailor.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Shone good. It's been a while.
- 9:48Speaker 7: You won't catch Jack White taking a page on Taylor
- 9:50Speaker 7: Swift's playbook when it comes to songwriting, because the White
- 9:53Speaker 7: Stripes frontman says pinning songs.
- 9:56Speaker 5: About breakups is a total snooze.
- 10:00Speaker 7: So Jack sat down for an interview over the weekend
- 10:05Speaker 7: and threw.
- 10:05Speaker 6: A little shade Taylor's way, which good luck dude's.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Oh he's got to hear from this.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Most of our news is hot off the bat.
- 10:15Speaker 2: That's correct, that's correct.
- 10:19Speaker 7: Taylor Switch was celebrating the last day of Women's History Month,
- 10:23Speaker 7: which I did not know was the thing as a woman,
- 10:26Speaker 7: so I should probably look into that.
- 10:28Speaker 2: So you totally missed.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You totally missed Women's History Month last month.
- 10:33Speaker 5: It was really my month last month, and I just
- 10:36Speaker 5: completely was.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Oblivious, totally missed it.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Where my brain's at.
- 10:43Speaker 7: I did a music video honoring Elizabeth Taylor, the second
- 10:46Speaker 7: track of her latest album, dedicated to the Hollywood Hollywood's
- 10:50Speaker 7: iconic actress. In the same fashion as the Fate of
- 10:54Speaker 7: Aphilia and Opal Light, the singer released a three minute
- 10:57Speaker 7: video exclusively on Apple Music and Spot a five premium,
- 11:01Speaker 7: both previous videos landing on YouTube a few days later. Uh,
- 11:05Speaker 7: no date has been announced for the latest music video,
- 11:08Speaker 7: so the video doesn't star Swiss at all.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Actually, instead, it's a movie montage.
- 11:15Speaker 7: From classic movies, including A Place in the Sun, Boom
- 11:20Speaker 7: Cat on a Hot Tin rule.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I love that cat on a Hot Tin roof movie.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Do you I never heard of it? I should look
- 11:28Speaker 5: into it. Father of the Bride Giant Julia.
- 11:33Speaker 2: That I love that Giant?
- 11:35Speaker 5: Do you?
- 11:36Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 11:36Speaker 5: I love you?
- 11:37Speaker 7: Might like this music video Chip.
- 11:43Speaker 5: All right, I won't hold my breath.
- 11:45Speaker 7: And also Love is Better Than Ever, Rhapsody Suddenly last
- 11:50Speaker 7: Summer and Who's Afraid of Virginia?
- 11:52Speaker 1: That Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf is one of the
- 11:55Speaker 1: all time classics with her Richard Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 7: So the clips were either licensed through Warner Bros.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Or provided too.
- 12:07Speaker 7: Swift's company with the T s A Rights Management LLC.
- 12:10Speaker 7: As a courtesy. The edit included again, you.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Know, I may, I may enjoy those clips, but I
- 12:16Speaker 1: bet I could go on YouTube and get them anyway,
- 12:18Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, without having to deal with Taylor.
- 12:22Speaker 5: But it's a compliment.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You could just mute it, yeah whatever, Well, you know
- 12:30Speaker 2: I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to. I wouldn't want.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The Swifties to know I'm muting anything. You know what
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 12:36Speaker 5: I'm sorry, he would never mute Taylor.
- 12:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no. I gotta tell you, I wouldn't.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I don't know if I would recognize a Taylor Taylor
- 12:50Speaker 1: Swift song.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So I'll just.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Say that we're fine.
- 12:57Speaker 1: This is disturbing and I don't have any more details
- 13:02Speaker 1: on this, but actor Eugene Meherman, who voices Gene Belcher
- 13:09Speaker 1: on Bob's Burgers and that's my favorite character in Bob's Burgers,
- 13:14Speaker 1: was pulled from a fiery car crash in New Hampshire
- 13:19Speaker 1: and is said to be recovering from serious injuries. So, yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 1: we hope that he's okay. I just love me some
- 13:28Speaker 1: Gene Belcher. So yeah, Eugene, Yeah, I hope you're I
- 13:33Speaker 1: hope you get well soon.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Yes.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Wow, We've got some exciting you know. Look, Chip, this
- 13:42Speaker 7: is the first time that we might actually be able to.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Meet a king. No way, King Charles is coming or
- 13:51Speaker 5: he's set.
- 13:53Speaker 2: To college station. Is he coming to college Station?
- 13:58Speaker 7: Probably not, but you never Now we talk about him enough.
- 14:02Speaker 7: Charles and Queen Camilla will visit the United States in
- 14:04Speaker 7: late April at the invitation of President Donald Trump, so
- 14:09Speaker 7: Buckingham Policy to confirm this.
- 14:11Speaker 5: This will be the.
- 14:12Speaker 7: First US state visit for Charles since he became King
- 14:15Speaker 7: in twenty twenty two.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Well when it was the last time.
- 14:19Speaker 7: I mean, I don't don't you ever hear about King
- 14:22Speaker 7: Charles coming to.
- 14:23Speaker 5: The United States the last time he was even here?
- 14:28Speaker 7: But anyways, Trump said The visit will take place on
- 14:31Speaker 7: April twenty seventh to April thirtieth and include a banquet
- 14:35Speaker 7: dinner at the White House on April twenty eighth. Charles
- 14:38Speaker 7: will celebrate the historic, historic connections and the modern bilateral
- 14:43Speaker 7: relationship between the United Kingdoms and the United States, marking
- 14:47Speaker 7: the two.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And that's why he's coming.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Nothing like celebrating. I remember when we beat Chill.
- 14:58Speaker 2: No, remember we killed off your.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Soldiers first, we through your tea in the harbor.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Now, look how far we've come.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Look how far? Hey, if we can get together, anybody can.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 15:14Speaker 7: So, their majesties, the King and Queen have accepted President
- 15:18Speaker 7: Trump's generous invitation to make an historic state visit in
- 15:22Speaker 7: the landmark two hundred and fiftieth year. It will be
- 15:25Speaker 7: an honor to host them and to celebrate close ties
- 15:28Speaker 7: with the American people through one of the oldest alliances.
- 15:33Speaker 2: That's so awesome.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Michael Jackson's estate continues to provide for the late pop
- 15:42Speaker 1: stars kids, including dropping thousands on tuition for his oldest
- 15:48Speaker 1: son tens of thousands for his daughter Paris's home improvements.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Is according to new legal documents filed by the estate.
- 15:58Speaker 1: TMZ obtained aimed the report submitted by two executors who
- 16:05Speaker 1: had said in twenty twenty two it was another banner
- 16:08Speaker 1: year for the estate. That's when MJ the Musical was
- 16:13Speaker 1: launched on Broadway, which made a ton of money. John
- 16:19Speaker 1: Bronca and John McClain declared they had earned the estate
- 16:22Speaker 1: more than three billion dollars since Michael died in two
- 16:29Speaker 1: thousand and nine, three billion dollars. Remember Michael died getting
- 16:37Speaker 1: ready for a world tour because he needed the money.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Right, yeah, he was. The estate was broke. Yeah yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 1: The estate previously paid for homes for Michael's children, Paris
- 16:51Speaker 1: and Prince, and a home for Blanket. The sorry two
- 17:00Speaker 1: twenty twenty two report said that during the twelve month
- 17:04Speaker 1: how would you like to go through life named Blanket?
- 17:07Speaker 2: That kid has no chance, no chance.
- 17:13Speaker 5: That was for that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I mean, what if your name was Blanket? How old
- 17:19Speaker 2: is Blanket is?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I don't know how his his real name? And maybe
- 17:24Speaker 1: this is why he goes by blanket.
- 17:26Speaker 2: His real name.
- 17:27Speaker 7: Is is Bigi.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Bigi? Bigi?
- 17:33Speaker 1: Maybe? Anyway, The report said during a twelve month timeframe,
- 17:38Speaker 1: the estate provided Paris with around three point two million
- 17:42Speaker 1: dollars and another ninety.
- 17:44Speaker 2: One k on her home.
- 17:47Speaker 1: The estate paid three point one million for prints, including
- 17:52Speaker 1: twenty five k for his tuition to loyal to mary
- 17:55Speaker 1: Mount Blankets. Bills were less expended SIEV. He only got
- 18:01Speaker 1: nine hundred and thirty nine thousand, while MJ's mom got
- 18:05Speaker 1: around one point six million for an allowance and for expenses.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Now this is just one year, mind you. The executors listed.
- 18:14Speaker 1: They earned more than eight hundred thousand in royalties and
- 18:19Speaker 1: residuals for various projects, which is only a fraction of
- 18:24Speaker 1: the total amount of the money that was brought in
- 18:28Speaker 1: during that year. Now, this isn't the first time that
- 18:33Speaker 1: celebrities have been more more dead than alive. Elvis was
- 18:38Speaker 1: certainly like that, Jimmy Hendricks.
- 18:41Speaker 8: Was like that.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I mean, all of these people in the olden days, right,
- 18:47Speaker 1: they all had horrible contracts, horrible managers. And I'm not
- 18:52Speaker 1: saying there aren't people that still do, but there are
- 18:58Speaker 1: entertainers more a way air these days, right than they
- 19:02Speaker 1: used to be. Yes, and more, some of whom are
- 19:08Speaker 1: more in control of their money than allowing someone else
- 19:12Speaker 1: to do it.
- 19:13Speaker 5: You feel me, Yeah, how's your manager doing?
- 19:17Speaker 1: He's fine. I'm keep I keep up on a daily basis.
- 19:20Speaker 1: In fact, I paid my own bills just yesterday and fortunately,
- 19:27Speaker 1: fortunately I am not in debt yet. If I get
- 19:31Speaker 1: any more bills in the mail this month, I might be.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And I have to pay taxes next week. So don't
- 19:40Speaker 1: yes see me, see me?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Did? Yeah? See me did?
- 19:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:47Speaker 7: If you see Chip promoting kind of questionable things, you
- 19:50Speaker 7: just leave him alone.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll know that the tax man got me.
- 20:00Speaker 5: We switch of years kinda.
- 20:02Speaker 7: It's not a great story because I mean, I think
- 20:04Speaker 7: she's great, But Lady Gaga has canceled her latest touring
- 20:07Speaker 7: for her at the advice of her doctor. So on Monday,
- 20:12Speaker 7: the pop singer did an announce on Instagram she would
- 20:15Speaker 7: be canceling her third and final performance at the Bell
- 20:18Speaker 7: Center in Montreal following respiratory infections.
- 20:23Speaker 5: You can if anyone can relate to her for I.
- 20:27Speaker 9: Don't sing or dance.
- 20:29Speaker 7: Oh, she said, I am so sorry to show that
- 20:31Speaker 7: I'm unable to perform tonight and have canceled the show.
- 20:36Speaker 7: She began this statement, I've been fighting a respiratory infection
- 20:39Speaker 7: for the past.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover,
- 20:42Speaker 5: but it's gotten worse. My doctor has.
- 20:44Speaker 7: Strongly advised me not to perform today, and to be honest,
- 20:47Speaker 7: I don't think I could give you the quality performance
- 20:49Speaker 7: today that you deserve. I know how deeply disappointing this
- 20:53Speaker 7: in night is, and I truly could not feel worse
- 20:56Speaker 7: about letting you down. I'm so sorry to everyone who
- 20:59Speaker 7: made plans to be there and support me. Being in
- 21:01Speaker 7: Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was
- 21:05Speaker 7: magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who's coming to mind,
- 21:08Speaker 7: I'm absolutely heartbroken.
- 21:09Speaker 5: It's so sorry.
- 21:11Speaker 7: I mean, I think if you're a Lady Gaga fan,
- 21:14Speaker 7: you know that she usually performs no matter what I mean.
- 21:17Speaker 5: For God's sake, she literally broke her hip in the
- 21:19Speaker 5: early days on stage and kept going. So God, you
- 21:24Speaker 5: hope you get better soon, Gaga.
- 21:26Speaker 8: Yeah, we do.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I think she was supposed to do a couple of
- 21:30Speaker 1: shows in Minnesota and and in New York City, so
- 21:34Speaker 1: we don't know.
- 21:34Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't know yet about that.
- 21:37Speaker 1: So speaking of entertainers, Randy Travis survived, you know, a
- 21:44Speaker 1: horrible stroke in twenty thirteen. It's hard to believe it's
- 21:47Speaker 1: been thirteen years and has largely been able unable to
- 21:53Speaker 1: speak or walk since. He received a standing ovation at
- 22:00Speaker 1: a concert with fans channing Randy as he was brought
- 22:04Speaker 1: off stage in a wheelchair by his wife. This was
- 22:09Speaker 1: seen in an Instagram post shared last week. Travis caption
- 22:15Speaker 1: it is the fans who make these appearances and shows
- 22:18Speaker 1: so special and the reason I keep doing it. The
- 22:22Speaker 1: More Life Tour was his first major tour since the stroke.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It kicked off in March with his original band and
- 22:33Speaker 1: two dozen dates, including shows to come in Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Texas, Arizona, California,
- 22:45Speaker 1: running through May.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Good on him for being able.
- 22:49Speaker 8: To do that.
- 22:50Speaker 1: That's amazing. I've seen a couple of things with him singing,
- 22:59Speaker 1: you know, and I mean I thought it was great.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I mean it wasn't quite the same, but hey, who
- 23:06Speaker 1: is You know what I'm saying.
- 23:09Speaker 5: It's inspirational. Nonetheless, yes, it is, no doubt that's amazing.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Also, Javier bardem ooh, I like him. They are doing
- 23:19Speaker 1: a remake of Kate Fear on Apple TV, a ten
- 23:24Speaker 1: episode drama premiering June fifth, that reimages. In fact, this
- 23:31Speaker 1: thing's been done twice already. Do we need a third one?
- 23:35Speaker 5: You know?
- 23:36Speaker 2: De Niro did it back in ninety one.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He was creepy, as you might suspect, but that was
- 23:44Speaker 1: a remake from one I think in the nineteen sixties.
- 23:48Speaker 2: If I'm not mistaken.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Barden has gone the extra mile on tattoos for his
- 23:56Speaker 1: Max Katie character, who has been on revenge for his instint.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Katie was a scythe wielding Grim Reaper tattoo on his
- 24:06Speaker 1: back with lost inked across his right knuckles and passed
- 24:12Speaker 1: on his left knuckles. De Niro had the words love
- 24:16Speaker 1: and hate tattooed on his knuckles for the film.
- 24:21Speaker 10: Uh.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Nick Nolty was a public defender. Jessica Lang was in it.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Juliet Lewis came to start him. As a result of
- 24:32Speaker 1: that movie, the Apple Plus series effectively changing the roles,
- 24:39Speaker 1: making Amy Adams who I like her, she can act
- 24:43Speaker 1: and Patrick Wilson the husband wife legal team jointly responsible
- 24:49Speaker 1: for putting Katie behind bars.

- 28:32Speaker 1: a few moments from beautiful San Marcus.
- 28:36Speaker 2: But you know again, mister spring football.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Everything that has to do with spring Aggie football is
- 28:44Speaker 1: right here, counting down to the Maroon White game. Let's
- 28:47Speaker 1: hear from offensive coordinator Holman Wiggints, who is asked who
- 28:51Speaker 1: stood out so far.
- 28:54Speaker 12: I think there's a few guys that continue to kind
- 28:56Speaker 12: of come out there and impress. I think Rubin had
- 28:57Speaker 12: him a good day, doing a good job of coming
- 28:59Speaker 12: out running behind his pads, kind of seeing you know,
- 29:02Speaker 12: getting this run tracks right. Marcel continues to oppress me
- 29:05Speaker 12: just with a lot of things that were throwing on them.
- 29:06Speaker 12: He made some good checks out there protection wise, but
- 29:09Speaker 12: also run game, getting able to kind of use the
- 29:11Speaker 12: cadence and see what the defense is in and trying
- 29:13Speaker 12: to get us into the right play and push us
- 29:15Speaker 12: into the right spots. Saw a couple of skill guys
- 29:18Speaker 12: make some plays, you know, Isaiah Horden made some plays,
- 29:20Speaker 12: of course, you know, Mario Kraber's continued to kind of
- 29:22Speaker 12: flash and do some things kind of the right way.
- 29:24Speaker 12: And we see some of our young guys starting to
- 29:26Speaker 12: step up and make some of those plays as well.
- 29:27Speaker 8: You Madden Williams and coach from the three.
- 29:33Speaker 12: Yes, it seems like like they're having a really good Yeah,
- 29:39Speaker 12: you talk you talk about Madden Williams and you talk
- 29:41Speaker 12: about Aaron Record, right, two stud receivers that we ended
- 29:44Speaker 12: up getting a chance to recruit. I think they come
- 29:46Speaker 12: in with a little bit of maturity. Of course, they have,
- 29:48Speaker 12: you know, some unbelievable ability to go out there and play,
- 29:51Speaker 12: but I think they're starting to kind of let the
- 29:53Speaker 12: game kind of slow down a little bit.
- 29:55Speaker 8: And you see those guys go out there and they're
- 29:56Speaker 8: making plays. Right, they got twitched.
- 29:57Speaker 12: They have the ability to stretch the field vertically, really
- 30:00Speaker 12: good hands, the ability to drop their weight, and we
- 30:02Speaker 12: wanted guys that had size but also right we're pretty
- 30:05Speaker 12: dynamic with.
- 30:06Speaker 8: The ball in their hands.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Generally speaking.
- 30:08Speaker 1: How does the tight kind of fit in your scene?
- 30:10Speaker 8: Is it different than Coliner we go in?
- 30:14Speaker 12: Yeah, well, when you talk about the tight end, I
- 30:15Speaker 12: think c k you know, did a phenomenal job but
- 30:18Speaker 12: basically using the tight ends when he was at k State,
- 30:19Speaker 12: and we tried to you know, incorporate that while we
- 30:21Speaker 12: were here. The biggest thing is we recruit guys to
- 30:24Speaker 12: come out and for us, we want to scratch where
- 30:26Speaker 12: it is just but also we want to use our
- 30:28Speaker 12: best eleven, right, So the tight end is a big
- 30:30Speaker 12: part and a big piece of kind of what we're doing.
- 30:32Speaker 12: I'm not sure Richie's been doing a really good job
- 30:34Speaker 12: right at the tight end spot. I saw Houston make
- 30:36Speaker 12: a couple of plays kind of today. You know, we
- 30:38Speaker 12: missed one with Kiati. Wish we could have hit him
- 30:41Speaker 12: because he probably could have ended the two minutes real, right,
- 30:43Speaker 12: But those guys have done a great job of continuing
- 30:45Speaker 12: to show up.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Right.
- 30:46Speaker 12: We got some young guys in KK and k LOB
- 30:47Speaker 12: that are flashing, but still need to kind of understand
- 30:50Speaker 12: what we're doing, what we're asking to do, and strain
- 30:52Speaker 12: a little harder. But the tight end is a huge
- 30:54Speaker 12: piece of in the core kind of what we do.
- 30:56Speaker 12: If you looked at any of the situational stuff that
- 30:58Speaker 12: we did today, we actually did some of the third
- 31:00Speaker 12: and short right. So now you're playing with bigger personnel.
- 31:03Speaker 12: You're trying to cover edges and cover some gaps. So
- 31:05Speaker 12: those guys have to come up and show up. But
- 31:07Speaker 12: also they have the ability to flex out and do
- 31:09Speaker 12: some good things out there in the past game as well.
- 31:11Speaker 13: You know, at the beginning of the spring you talk
- 31:12Speaker 13: about Marcel trying to learn his system at like a
- 31:14Speaker 13: PhD level.
- 31:15Speaker 8: Now that you guys are on the field, is the
- 31:17Speaker 8: is the onfield product match the kind of yes, it
- 31:20Speaker 8: continues to do that.
- 31:21Speaker 12: Now there are some things that will end up kind
- 31:23Speaker 12: of going back to the tape and watching and talking
- 31:25Speaker 12: about where we want to leave the ball, what we
- 31:26Speaker 12: could have done better. But just as far as the
- 31:28Speaker 12: overall scheme and him actually putting the time in, you're
- 31:31Speaker 12: starting to see him reap the benefits of it out
- 31:33Speaker 12: there on the football field because there's a comfort and
- 31:35Speaker 12: a poise that he's starting to play with out there.
- 31:37Speaker 8: You talk about the freshman receiver Jane Warman too, Yes,
- 31:42Speaker 8: and what do you.
- 31:43Speaker 13: Think said from the experiences A little group product all
- 31:47Speaker 13: need it's this rim.
- 31:49Speaker 8: Guys.
- 31:50Speaker 12: Yeah, I think we struck gold on the class that
- 31:53Speaker 12: we have. There's no doubt that we felt like the
- 31:55Speaker 12: room was really, really good. And now you talk about
- 31:58Speaker 12: the four freshmen that you bring in that have a
- 31:59Speaker 12: chance to come in and actually push the guys that
- 32:02Speaker 12: are in front of them, right, So, like, we feel
- 32:04Speaker 12: really good about those guys and it's you know, we're
- 32:06Speaker 12: throwing them to the fire right now. Okay, we're putting
- 32:09Speaker 12: fifteen practices. There's a bunch of different situations. There's a
- 32:12Speaker 12: new scheme, and they're trying to correlate, you know, what
- 32:14Speaker 12: they were calling this in high school to what it
- 32:15Speaker 12: is now. And for some of those guys, they're running
- 32:18Speaker 12: a ton of more stuff than they have kind of
- 32:20Speaker 12: in their you know, past history.
- 32:22Speaker 8: So what we try to do is take it day
- 32:24Speaker 8: by day.
- 32:24Speaker 12: Coach Perry's done a really good job of meeting with
- 32:26Speaker 12: those guys and taking some extra time to get those
- 32:28Speaker 12: guys kind.
- 32:29Speaker 8: Of brought along.
- 32:30Speaker 12: But you know, we're we're giving those guys reps and
- 32:33Speaker 12: we're not donating them, and they're doing a good job
- 32:34Speaker 12: of earning them and actually going out there and making
- 32:36Speaker 12: plays in the process.
- 32:37Speaker 8: And we talked to you last.
- 32:39Speaker 13: Week, said justindacity that you kind of toul here, that
- 32:43Speaker 13: you feel like it's still part of your scheme and
- 32:46Speaker 13: your thoughts.
- 32:46Speaker 12: On gay food was always talking about putting speed and
- 32:50Speaker 12: space and playing with fast guys. Right, So we want
- 32:52Speaker 12: to have a fast offense and we're going to try
- 32:53Speaker 12: to push the ball down the field.
- 32:54Speaker 8: But everything that we do still starts with a run, right.
- 32:56Speaker 12: So the core of what we do and the crux
- 32:58Speaker 12: of what we do is those six guys up front, right,
- 33:01Speaker 12: And I'm talking about the old line as well as
- 33:02Speaker 12: the tight end, And they did a great job of
- 33:04Speaker 12: kind of moving some people around, right. Coach Kush ended
- 33:06Speaker 12: up coming in to those guys today and actually challenging him.
- 33:09Speaker 12: And I was kind of, you know, sitting there echoing
- 33:11Speaker 12: the same thing. Hey, like, we go as you guys go.
- 33:13Speaker 12: So they did a great job of coming in and
- 33:15Speaker 12: actually taking that to heart and actually you know, bringing
- 33:17Speaker 12: their hard hat today and working their tails off.
- 33:19Speaker 13: We're gonna talk to Wilkin here in just a few minutes,
- 33:21Speaker 13: just what was it about them that YO really likes
- 33:24Speaker 13: with him out of the portal industry, You've seen when
- 33:25Speaker 13: he's brought to the table.
- 33:26Speaker 8: It's kind of a.
- 33:27Speaker 12: Veteran you talk about Wilkin, right, there's a lot of
- 33:30Speaker 12: history right there. He actually went to high school with
- 33:32Speaker 12: my daughters.
- 33:32Speaker 7: Right.
- 33:32Speaker 8: I was at the University of Alabama when we recruited him.
- 33:35Speaker 12: So when we got when we heard word that he was,
- 33:37Speaker 12: you know, transferring and he was in the portal, coach
- 33:39Speaker 12: Kush asked me, he was like, what do you think
- 33:41Speaker 12: about the kid? I was like, I think he's our
- 33:43Speaker 12: kind of guy. And he's done a phenomenal job since
- 33:45Speaker 12: he stepped foot on campus. You know, he has a
- 33:47Speaker 12: ton of experience, he has some leadership qualities. He's big,
- 33:50Speaker 12: he's athletic, he's strong, he can bend, he can anchor right,
- 33:53Speaker 12: really good body quicks, really good foot quickness.
- 33:55Speaker 8: Right.
- 33:55Speaker 12: So it's great to kind of have a guy like
- 33:57Speaker 12: that that has a ton of history, that won't flinch
- 34:00Speaker 12: and knows what big time ball is and he's coming
- 34:02Speaker 12: and actually allowing that to kind of show the rest
- 34:05Speaker 12: of our guys kind of what it's supposed to look like.
- 34:06Speaker 13: And just with the offensive line in general's what are
- 34:09Speaker 13: you learning about his career with so many new faces
- 34:11Speaker 13: that you're having to replace, and just the way.
- 34:14Speaker 12: That Yeah, I think what everybody talks about the offensive line,
- 34:17Speaker 12: they talk about the developmental piece and how much of
- 34:20Speaker 12: a developmental position that it is, right, but you see
- 34:22Speaker 12: some of our guys starting to kind of take those
- 34:24Speaker 12: strides and step into their own right. You talk about
- 34:26Speaker 12: a guy like Lamont Rodgers who's starting to put some
- 34:28Speaker 12: really good take right on film, and then you talk
- 34:31Speaker 12: about Blake Ivy, who's had, you know, in my opinion,
- 34:33Speaker 12: one of the better springs. As you see a guy
- 34:35Speaker 12: that is taking that jump from where he was last
- 34:37Speaker 12: year to now and understanding like, hey, here's what I'm
- 34:40Speaker 12: trying to do and he's doing it forcefully right, Just
- 34:42Speaker 12: as far as kind of moving guys and making a
- 34:44Speaker 12: statement for why he should kind of be a guy
- 34:46Speaker 12: for us. Right, we had to go replenish a ton
- 34:48Speaker 12: of guys and a ton of production that left, But
- 34:51Speaker 12: that's kind of just how you know, college football is.
- 34:53Speaker 12: So as we get to this point, we went out
- 34:55Speaker 12: and we ended up dipping into the portal. We brought
- 34:57Speaker 12: some really good high school guys in, but we've had
- 34:59Speaker 12: some guys that we're already on campus that feel like, hey,
- 35:02Speaker 12: you know what, as a collective, we feel like we
- 35:04Speaker 12: got you know, a good, you know, group that could
- 35:06Speaker 12: actually give us a chance to go out there and
- 35:08Speaker 12: make Hay in this conference.
- 35:10Speaker 8: A couple of big plays from from Ruben owens at
- 35:12Speaker 8: jamorrow Morrow. So they just running back so far in
- 35:15Speaker 8: this frame, Yeah, the running back rooms look really good.
- 35:17Speaker 14: Right.
- 35:17Speaker 12: You talk about those guys that you know, have been
- 35:19Speaker 12: chopping at the bit to kind of showcase kind of
- 35:21Speaker 12: what they can do, and we're doing a little bit
- 35:23Speaker 12: of things in the past game as well as the
- 35:24Speaker 12: run game. But they're doing a great job of running
- 35:27Speaker 12: behind their pads.
- 35:27Speaker 8: Tomorrow.
- 35:28Speaker 12: You know, I've pushed him because he's been a guy
- 35:30Speaker 12: that has kind of dealt with some stuff, and I
- 35:31Speaker 12: think it was just the fact that, you know, kind
- 35:33Speaker 12: of just where his weight was and now you see
- 35:35Speaker 12: him kind of trim a little bit of that off
- 35:37Speaker 12: and he's actually playing faster. I think he has a
- 35:39Speaker 12: great understanding of what we're trying to do. And Rubin right,
- 35:41Speaker 12: I felt like at the tail end of the year
- 35:43Speaker 12: and kind of where he is now, he's just picking
- 35:45Speaker 12: up stride and continuing to create momentum, right, and hopefully
- 35:48Speaker 12: that ends up kind of you know, showcasing kind of
- 35:50Speaker 12: as a season comes up, what growth that you want
- 35:53Speaker 12: to see from great hard of his off season with
- 35:55Speaker 12: any kind of yeah, well we're Brady, right, you talk
- 35:58Speaker 12: about a reshir freshman and now all of these things
- 36:00Speaker 12: are new, right when you talk about him being with
- 36:02Speaker 12: us for a year but not really getting a lot
- 36:04Speaker 12: of snaps or a lot of reps. And now we
- 36:06Speaker 12: end up kind of, you know, sitting here as an
- 36:08Speaker 12: offense and we talk about it being the same system,
- 36:10Speaker 12: but there's a little bit of a twist with me
- 36:12Speaker 12: being here and you know, my personality and some things
- 36:14Speaker 12: that I see.
- 36:15Speaker 8: So he's kind of relearning some of those things.
- 36:17Speaker 12: But he's done a great job as well, as you know,
- 36:20Speaker 12: a guy that can come in and put in the time,
- 36:22Speaker 12: watch film, watch it on his own, kind of meet
- 36:24Speaker 12: with our coaches and kind of see where he is,
- 36:26Speaker 12: but also taking the necessary steps to get where he
- 36:29Speaker 12: wants to be.
- 36:29Speaker 13: And when we talk to APR and you, he said
- 36:31Speaker 13: that he feels like the differences is kind of more
- 36:34Speaker 13: like an error in offenses.
- 36:37Speaker 12: No, right, hopefully that's a misnomer, right, because everything that
- 36:40Speaker 12: we do is gonna start with the run.
- 36:41Speaker 14: Right.
- 36:41Speaker 12: I'm an old running back myself, So we're gonna lean
- 36:44Speaker 12: on the backs of those guys up front, right, and
- 36:46Speaker 12: we're gonna sit there and create movement, run the ball
- 36:48Speaker 12: with a physical run style. And we're gonna use the
- 36:50Speaker 12: RPO game for teams that want to over commit guys
- 36:52Speaker 12: that we're gonna push the ball down the field with
- 36:54Speaker 12: our play action pass if they want to do it.
- 36:56Speaker 8: As well, you're how much you saw which time for company.
- 37:00Speaker 13: I'm curious what you saw just in the recruiting process,
- 37:02Speaker 13: and as how much maybe relationships with him and will
- 37:05Speaker 13: get and even.
- 37:06Speaker 12: Marcell Yeah, yeah, It's it's like, as you continue to
- 37:10Speaker 12: talk about these portal guys like I recruited Isaiah Horton
- 37:14Speaker 12: out of high school as well, right, and then also
- 37:16Speaker 12: when he was thinking about transferring, we had you know,
- 37:19Speaker 12: some discussions and he decided to go to Alabama. I
- 37:21Speaker 12: think after he ended up going there and just you know,
- 37:24Speaker 12: figuring out kind of what he wanted to do, and
- 37:25Speaker 12: when he got back into Portal, I think he felt
- 37:28Speaker 12: like this would be a good landing spot.
- 37:29Speaker 8: And it's also a necessity and the need that we needed.
- 37:31Speaker 12: Right, we built the room around a big receiver and
- 37:34Speaker 12: we lost that guy, and now we had a chance
- 37:35Speaker 12: to you know, go out and get another.
- 37:37Speaker 8: Big body that can help us.
- 37:39Speaker 12: And it does help the fact that you know, he
- 37:41Speaker 12: had history with Marcel, knowing kind of who he was,
- 37:44Speaker 12: because I think with any receiver, they want to go
- 37:46Speaker 12: somewhere where they can win, but also they want to
- 37:47Speaker 12: go somewhere where they feel like they have a guy.
- 37:49Speaker 8: That can get him the ball. There are a couple
- 37:51Speaker 8: more street practices. Le Sprigade in two weeks from now
- 37:54Speaker 8: waiting sa a better better, like just want everything right.
- 38:00Speaker 12: You know, there's a ton of cleanup that we have
- 38:02Speaker 12: to get right, and we'll end up continuing to kind
- 38:04Speaker 12: of go through the tape. But you know, our situational
- 38:07Speaker 12: football awareness, us being able to line down and create
- 38:10Speaker 12: movement winning matchups consistently out there in space. The quarterback,
- 38:14Speaker 12: you know, basically getting us in the right sets, you know,
- 38:16Speaker 12: making sure guys understand what we're doing, how we're doing
- 38:20Speaker 12: it while we're doing it, because that's all important. Right,
- 38:22Speaker 12: So if we can end up kind of cleaning the
- 38:24Speaker 12: details up, I think we'll have you know, an unbelievaball.
