- 0:42Speaker 2: Hello and welcome back to the Abundant and Aligned podcast.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I hope you're having a beautiful day.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Thank you for tuning in to another episode.
- 0:49Speaker 2: We are talking today about daily routines to prime your mind for success and feel more confident with your goals, and I wanted to take you through some things that I incorporate on a daily basis to ensure that I feel my best, I feel confident, I feel worthy of my goals, which is obviously key to achieving them.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And, um, yeah, I guess, just like some step-by-step routines and habits that you guys can incorporate, I forget it's been a little while since I've actually taken you through my routines and recorded a style of episode like this.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Some things you've probably heard before if you've listened for a long time.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Some things are new.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I have made some tweaks lately to what I'm doing, so I thought let's just go back to the basics today and do a rundown on those daily habits, those daily routines that you guys can incorporate to prime your mind, to make yourself feel your most confident, so that you can go about your day creating and seeing the success and achieving all of your goals, which is what I want.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I want us all to be achieving our goals.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I want us all to be manifesting things a lot faster, with a lot more ease, and these steps are really going to help you do that.
- 2:16Speaker 2: But before we do that actually so we are heading into a bit of a block where the focus is going to be stripping back the layers in terms of why you doubt yourself, why you don't feel confident, why you don't feel good enough, why you compare yourself to others.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Because I know again, I always say this I know those who listen to the podcast, including you you have an idea of what you want your life to look like and and a lot of us want that life to be very luxurious, very abundant.
- 2:51Speaker 2: We want to be making a shitload of money and we want to be having a lot of fun doing it.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I know that you guys have that part of the process ticked off, like I know you know what you want, I know you have these goals, but we get stuck or we feel held back by very common beliefs of, like I said at the start, not feeling good enough, not feeling confident, wondering if anyone will even care what you have to say and do, and, as a result, we're held back and it naturally is very frustrating when you know the steps you need to take in order to get the life you want, but you're not doing them, or when you do them, they don't necessarily get the results that you want or quick enough.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So we're going into a bit of a series, I guess, on the podcast, talking about why that is the case, like why do you have these limiting beliefs?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Why are you procrastinating, why are you feeling held back, why are you stuck?
- 3:46Speaker 2: And getting to the root cause of these things, I never shy away from telling you guys creating the life you want isn't just about what you're physically doing, and in fact, that's just a tiny part of creating the life that you want.
- 4:02Speaker 2: But we live in a society and we live in a world where we are conditioned to believe that, in order to get something, we need to be doing more, we need to be working harder, we need to be putting in more hours, and so I find myself in conversations with my clients all the time who are frustrated.
- 4:19Speaker 2: They're like I know what I want, but I'm not seeing it.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And they're saying to me well, I'll need to post more, or I'll try this different system, or I'll implement this different real style, or whatever, and I'm like it's not what you're physically doing, it's who you are while doing it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Or you may think that you're showing up every day and ticking all the boxes off and feeling accomplished and productive, but underneath the surface is still those limiting seeds that are going to either keep pulling you back or sabotaging your growth.
- 4:52Speaker 2: So you may have a really good month in business, or you may get that promotion at work, or you may go on that incredible date with that guy.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You might start to see the growth, but then something happens to pull you back.
- 5:06Speaker 2: And there is a reason for that.
- 5:08Speaker 2: There is a reason that you keep finding yourself in those patterns and it's not because you're not doing enough.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It's because there's a limiting seed still wedged in your subconscious mind and it's been there since childhood.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And this series on the podcast is going to help you identify those seeds and get rid of them and pull them out of your garden so that you show up effortlessly every day and you take the steps towards creating the life you want.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And when you're taking those steps, they actually get results.
- 5:36Speaker 2: You actually make money, you actually see success, you actually meet the people you want, you actually have experience and live out that life without this ebb and flow, without sabotaging at all, um, and without seeing these patterns of like growth and then falling back behind, um.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So, anyways, that's kind of where the podcast is heading.
- 5:56Speaker 2: A little FYI, if you want to stick around for the next couple of weeks, we do have a bit of a mini series on digging up your subconscious, limiting beliefs.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Really getting to the root cause of beliefs, like you know.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Really getting to the root cause of doubt, lacking confidence, not believing in yourself, feeling like you're not good enough, getting them out of your garden bed and inserting new ones.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So buckle up for the ride and, quite honestly, as always, bring along your notebook to these episodes, because I'll be sharing a lot of knowledge with you guys, um, which I'm really excited for you all to implement.
- 6:29Speaker 2: As you may have heard, I have been very busy behind the scenes working on a project and I can finally reveal all of the details with you.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Every day, I see incredible results within the online space, but I knew it was time to offer the work I do with my clients on the in-person stage.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So I'm so, so, so excited to announce that a one day immersion is coming to the Gold Coast and, like I said, I'm here to give you all the details.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It will be taking place on the 21st of September 2024 here on the Gold Coast, and I just want to say this is much greater than any typical empowerment event, much more than the chance to network with other women.
- 7:11Speaker 2: This is an event designed to crack you open, heal parts you didn't even realize needed healing and finally set you free from all that has been holding you back.
- 7:20Speaker 2: This event, honestly, is your transformation.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So pre-sale will begin on the 7th of August.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Only to those on the waitlist.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You get 10% off and access to the limited pre-sale tickets.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Early bird then opens up on the 9th of August.
- 7:35Speaker 2: So if you want the discount code for 10% off, head to my website, linked in the show notes below, jump on the waitlist and you'll receive an email with all of the details.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I cannot wait to get the opportunity to meet some of you in person.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I cannot wait to help you heal from your past, let go of limitations and finally step into your full power.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Honestly, your life won't change until you do, and this is your opportunity to do that.
- 8:01Speaker 2: So I'm very excited.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Any questions?
- 8:03Speaker 2: As always, just let me know by either sending me an email or a message on Instagram.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So, before I share some of the daily routines and habits that I've been doing lately and, like I said, this is like current time to prime my mind for success I want to talk a little bit to the point of confidence because, as I said, you could know exactly what needs to be done in order to create the life you want, but you're being held back for whatever reason, and a very like umbrella term or a very common belief for that is you don't feel confident to do what you want to do or you don't feel confident that doing so will get you the results that you want.
- 8:44Speaker 2: So I wanted to talk to confidence and the reason why you likely don't feel confident right now to take the steps and achieve your goals, and then, of course, how to feel more confident and really just back yourself and know that you can do this and when you do, it will work out in your favor.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So, starting with the reason why you don't feel confident you haven't done what you're trying to do before is the most simplest way I can put it.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So, when you think about things that you've done over and over and over again, you have a sense of confidence, and it's simply because you've done it before, and usually, when you had done it, you may have got a good result from it, which brings up your confidence, and you just feel really good about it.
- 9:33Speaker 2: When it comes to the particular goal that you have right now, or the change that you're seeking, you aren't confident to take the steps forward or to announce it or to do what needs to be done, because you've never done it before.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So you have nothing to go off as to how successful it will be, how it will feel and ultimately, what the outcome will be.
- 9:58Speaker 2: And at a neurological level, your brain is looking at that goal as simply unfamiliar.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And when your brain sees something as unfamiliar, it deems it a threat.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And because the primary role of your brain or your subconscious is to keep you away from threats, your brain or your subconscious is keeping you away from achieving that goal to ultimately keep you safe by keeping you away from the threat.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So, remembering, our brains are very primal and anything that will involve change, doing something you've never done before, unfamiliar, it's looking at it as a threat, just like it did in the caveman times, when it literally had to keep you away from tigers and other cavemen who were trying to attack you and eat you.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Your actual survival needs were at risk, and so your brain had to keep you safe.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Same thing still happens today, but with change, with things that are unfamiliar and your goal, without even knowing what that is if you never achieved it before.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It is unfamiliar and therefore your brain thinks that if you achieve it, you will be put in danger, and so it's keeping you away from achieving the goal.
- 11:06Speaker 2: To keep you away from the danger, it does that by coming up with a worst case scenario.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So when you think of, let's say, launching that business, your brain right now is coming up with all of these scenarios.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Where it won't be successful, the launch will fail, people will question your expertise, you'll become overwhelmed.
- 11:30Speaker 2: The reason your brain is coming up with these worst case scenarios is to stop you from taking the action to launch that business, to keep you away from launching the business because it's unfamiliar and therefore it's a threat.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Another thing that your brain may be doing is coming up with all of the excuses as to why you need to stay still in your present and away from achieving that goal.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So excuses like I just don't have the time or it's not the right time, the industry is saturated situations that confirm your belief.
- 12:05Speaker 2: So maybe you'll be seeing comments on Instagram that no one in your industry is seeing success right now.
- 12:15Speaker 2: So you see that, and seeing that then confirms a belief that you already have that your business wasn't going to succeed.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Maybe you'll find yourself in conversations where people are saying that consumers just aren't buying right now, which getting in that conversation is confirming a belief you already had that your business won't succeed.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You are finding yourself in situations that confirm that it won't work.
- 12:40Speaker 2: So either you don't try at all or you try and it doesn't work out.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then you can say to yourself well, I knew this was going to happen.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I knew it was not the right time, I knew the industry was saturated, I knew that consumers weren't buying right now, but again, it was just confirming a belief that you already had.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Another thing your brain may be doing to keep you away from the goal which it is registering as a threat is manifesting actual circumstances that keep you away from taking the steps or seeing the results.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So that could look like manifesting a really busy period at work, like at your nine to five.
- 13:25Speaker 2: So therefore you don't have time to come home and work on your side business, or by the time you get home, you just can't be bothered.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Maybe your boss is wanting you to do work after hours.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Whatever it may be, but you've ultimately manifested this to keep you away from the goal.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Another actual circumstance that you may be manifesting is, um, like your kids getting sick, or your kids requiring more of your attention, or you getting sick, um products getting lost.
- 13:57Speaker 2: So maybe you're already in business and you've just had a really big month where a lot of consumers bought your product and you're sending them out, but then the courier loses your product or something happens for this process to feel overwhelming and ultimately cause a bit of a setback.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Your website may crash, you may lose your domain name.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Again, these are just physical manifestations that are going to keep you back from achieving that goal, and these are things that our brains will keep doing over and over and over again unless we do the work to make your goal more familiar and therefore safe for your brain.
- 14:35Speaker 2: And when your brain deems something okay and safe and it's no longer demonizing the situation, things start to open up and things become easier, which I'm going to help you guys do, but I just wanted to point to.
- 14:48Speaker 2: That's why you're not confident because you've never done this before.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And because you've never done it before, your brain is looking at it as unfamiliar and it's going to do all it can whether it is making you focus on the worst case scenario, coming up with all of these excuses, actually manifesting physical situations to keep you away from achieving that goal because it thinks it's doing its job, and it thinks it's doing its job right by keeping you safe.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And, as I said at the start, compare that.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Compare a goal that you're trying to achieve right now with something that you've done over and over and over again, and I want you to tap into how you feel about that thing versus this thing.
- 15:26Speaker 2: How do you feel about the part of your life that you have achieved or done so many times before versus how you feel about this particular goal, whatever it may be, and, again, without even knowing your response.
- 15:41Speaker 2: The very simple difference is you're confident in one thing and you're not confident with the other thing.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You've done it before versus you haven't done it before.
- 15:50Speaker 2: So what we need to do is prime your brain with to feel and have an experience as if you actually have already achieved the goal.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And this is where this work is really powerful and really cool, and this is why you will see incredible results and quite fast change when you do this type of work, because now you're manipulating your brain and your brain is the control room.
- 16:22Speaker 2: We know that.
- 16:22Speaker 2: We literally know our brain, or our subconscious mind, is running the show, and so when you know how to upgrade that, then suddenly everything just starts to fall into place without you actually physically doing anything different, without you going anywhere, without you asking for anything.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Things just start to show up for you.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So this episode is all about how to prime your brain to look, feel, think, like you have already achieved this goal before and therefore you will feel more confident about it and therefore you'll stop focusing on the worst case scenario and focus on the best case scenario instead and therefore create the best case scenario.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You'll no longer have excuses and you'll just want to wake up the next day and just get cracking on your goal.
- 17:04Speaker 2: You will start to manifest situations that support you achieving this goal, not set you back.
- 17:09Speaker 2: So how are we going to do that?
- 17:13Speaker 2: You need to start doing three things priming your brain, which we'll talk about in a sec.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Expecting it to work out.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So when you go ahead and start taking the steps to achieve that goal, you need to expect that you'll actually achieve the goal, which is something that so many people don't do, which is wild.
- 17:31Speaker 2: But again, your brain is looking for you not to achieve the goal, to keep you away from it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So I want you guys to take notice of how often you don't expect to achieve something, even though consciously you want to, and really just train your brain, train your attention to focus on best case scenario and it working out in your favor.
- 17:51Speaker 2: And then the third thing you're going to do is take physical action or practice and be someone who has already achieved the goal, and B someone who has already achieved the goal, so not someone who's trying, who has put it on a pedestal, but is in this present moment, right now, already making the money, already at that level in their business, already dating that guy, already living in that apartment or that house, already doing all of the things that you want to do.
- 18:17Speaker 2: It's already done, not something you want to do.
- 18:19Speaker 2: So priming your mind, expecting it to work out and taking the physical action to do that.
- 18:26Speaker 2: That then leads me to sharing the routines that I do in my day to do all three of those things, and I thought it would be helpful to talk about it in terms of, like, what I'm actually doing, because I know I always try and give, like, all of these examples, but without actually knowing what your goal is.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Um, it's helpful just to kind of focus on things that I'm working through.
- 18:49Speaker 2: So priming your mind is, like I said at the start, essentially doing the work so that your brain thinks you've already achieved this goal before, and there are many, there's many, many techniques you can use to do that.
- 19:01Speaker 2: If you're actually planning to come to my in-person event on the gold coast, this is the type of work that we'll be doing, but there are a lot of different techniques and modalities that you can follow to alter your brain's neural pathways so that it starts to look like, if we literally put it on a scan, it will look like you have already achieved this goal.
- 19:20Speaker 2: That's a whole other topic.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Again, come to my event.
- 19:23Speaker 2: We'll be talking about this, but priming your mind is is it's key, because we want your brain to look like you've already already done it.
- 19:31Speaker 2: When your brain looks like you've already done it, it thinks and feels like you've already done it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Now you feel confident, now you have the identity and now you'll take the steps and everything will actually work out.
- 19:40Speaker 2: So priming a brain, expecting it to work out, and taking physical action, so in terms of some routines to do all of those things.
- 19:46Speaker 2: And these are things that I'm doing right now.
- 19:48Speaker 2: And, like I said at the start, I have changed my morning routine a little bit and I'll share where I'm at with that and why.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Um.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Because I always like to be transparent about what I'm actually doing in my day to create the life that I want.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Um.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Sorry, I was just making sure I was recording Um.
- 20:08Speaker 2: So first thing in the morning and I talk about this a lot the very first thing I do, like literally as soon as I wake up in the morning, is I tune in to what I'm thinking about and feeling.
- 20:19Speaker 2: What you'll notice when you start to turn your attention over to this is the thoughts that you have first thing in the morning include things like what you have on at work that day, where your kids need to be and by what time something that may have happened the day before that you're still thinking about, thinking about how your business isn't where you want it to be thinking about how you have to go to that job that you don't like, thinking about how you still haven't met that guy or how your relationships suck.
- 20:46Speaker 2: You're thinking about yesterday.
- 20:48Speaker 2: You're thinking about your past problems With that.
- 20:51Speaker 2: You also have feelings that correspond to those thoughts.
- 20:54Speaker 2: So feelings of lack, feelings of scarcity, feelings of frustration, guilt, shame these are things that you will be having first thing in the morning, and I know that because your brain is going to create your worst case scenario first thing in the morning to make sure that it is on high alert to keep you safe.
- 21:11Speaker 2: So, before we get to changing your thoughts, just get up tomorrow morning and the day after that and just tune in and pay attention to the thoughts and feelings that you have first thing and very confident, it will be something like that.
- 21:23Speaker 2: What we then want to do is get on top of that and stop allowing our thoughts and feelings to take over us first thing in the morning, and we need to be back in control of our mind and our thoughts and feelings, and we need to do that as soon as you wake up in the morning for a few things.
- 21:39Speaker 2: One it's going to stop you from starting your day from the past.
- 21:43Speaker 2: It's going to stop you bringing yesterday's problems into today, because today's a brand new day.
- 21:48Speaker 2: It's also going to ensure that, while you're still in what's called an alpha brainwave frequency, you are choosing the thoughts and feelings that you want and ensuring that those thoughts and feelings you want are going to create the life that you want, because your thoughts and feelings that you want and ensuring that those thoughts and feelings you want are going to create the life that you want, because your thoughts and feelings are manifesting your physical reality.
- 22:07Speaker 2: So it only makes sense that if we're waking up first thing in the morning and having thoughts of lack and scarcity, we'll create more lack and scarcity.
- 22:15Speaker 2: But if we are choosing thoughts like I am already where I want to be and actually feeling like you're already where you are, you're sending out that signal and then you'll tune into physical manifestations that look like you already have things Again, things will show up for you, you'll manifest success, you'll manifest more money and things will become easier.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So, thoughts and feelings first thing and this exercise literally takes me 30 seconds because you want to capture those first thoughts and feelings.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I then do not get out of bed until I have changed my state to feel like I am waking up in my big dream mansion Bart's laying next to me.
- 22:58Speaker 2: He does not have to go to work that day because my business has retired him and you know, I can hear the ocean and whatever.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I do not get out of bed until I've literally changed my state to feel like I'm already where I want to be, not wanting it, already have it.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And then I get up and I go about my day.
- 23:15Speaker 2: So that window is something that everybody can do, regardless of how much time you have in the morning.
- 23:22Speaker 2: All you need is just to turn your attention over to those first thoughts and feelings.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Quickly change your inner state before you get out of bed.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It does not need to take long, everyone can do that.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That is key, don't miss that.
- 23:34Speaker 2: The next thing I do is roll over and I turn on my I am morning affirmations track, which I will link in the show notes below, and while I'm kind of like waking up and coming out of sleep and just snuggling into bed for a little bit longer, especially in winter, um, I will quickly just put that affirmations track on and just have that playing on my phone while I'm still laying in bed, just looking out the window and doing whatever, waking up, um, and just have that playing Again.
- 24:01Speaker 2: It means that the first thing you're hearing when you wake up in the morning, and therefore thinking and focusing on, is positive affirmations, things that you actually want to create more of.
- 24:10Speaker 2: And again, by doing it first thing in the morning, you're capturing that alpha brainwave frequency which is key to reprogramming your mind, because you are so that the signature brainwave of the subconscious is theta, but when you are a little bit awake in the morning, you move to alpha, but your brainwave frequencies are still a lot slower, and so what it means is what you're listening to and thinking and feeling is going into your computer system, into your subconscious, and not getting blocked off by that logical beta brain.
- 24:42Speaker 2: So affirmations first thing, and then, once that's over, I get up, go to the bathroom and I go out and make my coffee, and then I come back and then I do my visualization.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Now, this is where I've changed things up just a little bit, but I'm going to run you quickly through the visualization aspect of this and then I'm going to say what I'm changing and why.
- 25:02Speaker 2: But visualization is, if you remember what I said before about how we need to change your brain so it looks like you've already achieved what you've done.
- 25:12Speaker 2: This is the opportunity to do that.
- 25:14Speaker 2: So visualizing or mentally rehearsing you having already achieved the goal, doing this daily.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Your brain actually doesn't know the difference between a real life experience and a visualization.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So if I was to say to you close down your eyes and think about a memory of something you've already achieved, your brain will do its thing.
- 25:33Speaker 2: If I said then visualize you in the future doing what you want to do in terms of achieving a goal, your brain will do its thing.
- 25:41Speaker 2: But your brain does the same thing both times.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It will look the same recalling a memory and visualizing a future scene.
- 25:48Speaker 2: The same things happen.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So your brain actually doesn't know the difference between you having actually experienced this or just visualizing that you have.
- 25:57Speaker 2: So this is key to changing the neural pathways in your brain and this is like learning the new skill, and I always give this example If you wanted to learn how to play the piano, you would get behind the piano and physically practice that every day.
- 26:12Speaker 2: And while you are physically practicing playing the piano every day, neural pathways are being formed within your brain.
- 26:19Speaker 2: When you are mentally rehearsing, doing something, the same thing happens.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Your brain is forming new neural pathways in the brain.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Again, you then have the brain of the person that you want to be.
- 26:29Speaker 2: You have their identity, their personality and you get their results.
- 26:32Speaker 2: So, visualization, starting your day, tapping into the future.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Like it's already done, I have a bunch of different meditations available on my website that you guys can go and download, but that is priming the brain to get what it is that you want.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I'll quickly just say the change that I've made lately.
- 26:49Speaker 2: So this has come off the back of reading a book called oh shit, what's it called?
- 26:54Speaker 2: What's it called?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Oh my God, I can't think of it.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I'll mention it in the show notes below.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But he talks a lot about you don't need to meditate, you don't need to journal in order to manifest what you want, and by thinking you need to do all of these things keeps you in lack, because you get stuck in this thought process that if you happen to not do it that day, then you haven't been able to manipulate your reality, and that's not true.
- 27:24Speaker 2: So he talks a lot about like adopting a state, no matter what.
- 27:29Speaker 2: So, even if you're not meditating, even if you're not journaling, becoming so good at adopting the state like you already have what you want.
- 27:36Speaker 2: And so the reason why I just wanted to mention that is I was finding that my I've kind of gone back to enjoying it, but there was a little, a little part there where I was finding my meditation was becoming a chore, and not something that I looked forward to or that I wanted to do, because it does make me feel incredible, but it was becoming a chore.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And then I was finding that if I wasn't doing it that day, I was getting stuck on.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Well, you know, now I've kind of ruined my energy for the day because I haven't meditated and I'm not gonna be able to see the success that I want.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Because I haven't meditated and I've found my mind going there of like you haven't ticked off that box, therefore you haven't done what's required in order to get the things that you want.
- 28:26Speaker 2: And this book really reminded me and highlighted like that isn't true.
- 28:28Speaker 2: So, yes, visualization is very, very powerful to prime your brain.
- 28:29Speaker 2: You don't have to do it every day in order to manifest the things that you want, and what we want to do with every single one of these techniques is change your inner state, and so you can do that, whether you're meditating or not.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You can be changing your inner state while you're driving your car, while you're cooking dinner, while you're watching TV, while you are brushing your teeth.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You can adopt a different state, and that is what we want to be doing, whether we are in meditation or not.
- 28:55Speaker 2: And it's about starting to turn off any connection to a reality that you no longer want and tuning into only the reality that you want and feeling like it's already done.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And so with that I was like so true, so if on the mornings I wake up and I'm like not feeling a pull towards meditating that day and it was going to become something I have to tick off as a chore, I don't do it anymore because I don't want this practice to be just another thing on my to-do list because it defeats the purpose of it.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I'm actually much better going to do something else that will raise my vibration by default, because I've made myself feel good, and do something that will get me into that success, wealth state, regardless of whether I meditate.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Um, so I just want to like pop that in there.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I actually at the moment aren't met.
- 29:46Speaker 2: At the moment I've actually pulled back on meditating a fair bit compared to what I used to do, like I used to meditate five to six mornings a week and now it probably looks like three to four mornings a week.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Um, obviously I've been doing this work for a long, long time, so I I can adopt a state Like I already have the things I want quite quickly now, without having to rely on a 30 minute meditation to get me there.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So if you were quite new to this, I would obviously encourage you to do this as much as you possibly can, but eventually you can just tap into a state without again having to rely on a meditation to do that.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Anyways, I have completely gone down a sidetrack, but I just wanted to be honest with where I'm at, with my routines at the moment and some things that I've noticed and changed.
- 30:32Speaker 2: But visualization key.
- 30:34Speaker 2: What you are doing is mentally rehearsing you, having done the goal that you are trying to achieve Now with journaling.
- 30:40Speaker 2: So back to our theme of making you feel more confident, making you feel that you are trying to achieve Now with journaling.
- 30:42Speaker 2: So back to our theme of making you feel more confident, making you feel like you are good enough so that we can get you in a state where you do want to go out and take the steps to achieve your goal Journaling.
- 30:54Speaker 2: But I've actually got some specific exercises here for you.
- 30:57Speaker 2: The first thing I want you guys to do if you are struggling with confidence, if you are having beliefs that you aren't good enough, these three journal prompts will really help with tackling that.
- 31:06Speaker 2: But the first thing I want you guys to do is every morning yes, every morning write 20 things you have accomplished in your life and why that was the case.
- 31:17Speaker 2: So what traits case?
- 31:26Speaker 2: So what traits, qualities, skills did you have and still do that allowed you to accomplish those things that you have already done?
- 31:29Speaker 2: What this is doing is reminding you, of course you are good enough, of course you can do this.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Look at all of the other incredible things you've done in your life.
- 31:36Speaker 2: This goal is no different.
- 31:37Speaker 2: You just keep looking at it like it's so different because you haven't achieved it before and you've put it on the pedestal.
- 31:43Speaker 2: But when you consider all of the other accomplishments you have achieved in your life and why that is the case, you actually already have what you need to do this same goal.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It's just about now transferring those skills and traits over to this goal and starting to view this goal like you, are those past accomplishments and starting to view this goal like you are those past accomplishments?
- 32:04Speaker 2: So, 20 things in your journal every day about the achievements that you have had in your life, things you have accomplished and why you accomplished those things.
- 32:11Speaker 2: What about you made you someone who could have achieved those things and I'm not just talking about business success or career success, I'm talking about.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I'm not just talking about business success or career success, I'm talking about have you traveled the world?
- 32:24Speaker 2: Have you given birth to a child?
- 32:25Speaker 2: Have you got a university degree?
- 32:29Speaker 2: Did you get good grades at school?
- 32:31Speaker 2: Are you someone who can walk in a room and light it up when you do?
- 32:35Speaker 2: Are you someone who can hold a conversation?
- 32:37Speaker 2: Are you someone that can speak in public?
- 32:41Speaker 2: Really well, you know, go beyond just the tangible successes that you think that you may be drawn to focus your attention on, and go beyond just the everyday stuff that you have done that is actually a success, is actually accomplishment, and things about you that are amazing and incredible that right now you're probably missing and you're not focusing on because you're so stuck on what you haven't done and where you're not yet, but there's all of these other incredible qualities about yourself that I want you to remind yourself of every single morning, and this is really going to help with imposter syndrome.
- 33:17Speaker 2: The next thing is the skills that you already have that will make this goal a success.
- 33:24Speaker 2: So, like I said, right now you're just feeling like you're not good enough because you're focusing on the fact that you've never achieved the goal, but you have put this goal on the pedestal and, like I said before, in fact, you actually already have the skills you need.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So, if the goal is to launch a mindset business, okay, this is literally my life.
- 33:47Speaker 2: If your goal is to launch a mindset business, okay, you've never launched a mindset business before, but that mindset business will involve you talking to clients and being able to carry a conversation.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Prior to that, you were a lawyer.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Every single day, your job involved talking to people and carrying a conversation.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Therefore, you already have the skills required to grow this business carrying a conversation.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Therefore, you already have the skills required to grow this business.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Another skill you may already have is you are very brave and very determined, and you have showcased that by the fact that you moved from New Zealand to Australia all by yourself, and you found a job and you found new friends and you just made that move work.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Those skills are needed to grow a business and therefore, you already have those skills.
- 34:37Speaker 2: So, again, this journal exercise is going to show you you already have what it takes.
- 34:41Speaker 2: You already are the person you need to be in order for this to be a success.
- 34:44Speaker 2: It's just about looking at that, patting yourself on the back and feeling more empowered, and showing yourself that you can actually make yourself be empowered.
- 34:53Speaker 2: You don't need anything tangible around you to do that.
- 34:56Speaker 2: There's already so many files in your mind and there's already so much evidence that you are already capable of this.
- 35:04Speaker 2: And then, finally, but certainly not least, scripting about your best case scenario, and I talk about this a lot, but when it comes to achieving this goal, how do you want it to work out?
- 35:14Speaker 2: What is the best case scenario?
- 35:16Speaker 2: Because, again, up until this point, you've probably focused on the worst no one will buy your product.
- 35:21Speaker 2: It will be a fail.
- 35:22Speaker 2: You'll go into that conversation with your boss and ask for the pay rise, but he'll say no, you'll be stuck in this job forever.
- 35:30Speaker 2: You'll go on that date with that guy and it'll be a flop, like your brain is looking at the worst case, but there's also a best case, and so we want to train your brain to be more focused on the best case, and this will take practice, but eventually you'll get so good at this.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Eventually you'll set goals and immediately you'll be in the state of like, yeah, I'm going to achieve this and it's all going to be in my favor, and then, therefore, that's exactly what happens, because that's what you put out there.
- 35:57Speaker 2: So, scripting, when it comes to achieving this goal, what's your best case scenario, and getting that down on paper and then, just quickly, the final habit that I would suggest when it comes to your morning is not waking up and scrolling on social media, because by doing that, you're instantly comparing yourself to others, you're instantly tuning into other people's lives when we don't need to be tuning into their life.
- 36:19Speaker 2: So, very simple Don't make your morning about anyone else's life, don't be comparing yourself to anybody else, and just make your morning about you, where you're at and where you want to go.
- 36:28Speaker 2: So that's the morning.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Now just some other things that I do throughout the day to embody a wealthy, successful, confident inner state, which will help you guys do so as well, is getting ready every day.
- 36:44Speaker 2: So I go to the gym in the morning.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I always come home and shower, get out of my gym clothes and put on a nice outfit.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I do my hair and makeup.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Even if I'm just sitting in my home office all day behind the computer, I still do these things because it makes me feel good and when I feel good I feel more confident.
- 37:02Speaker 2: When I feel more confident, I see more results in my life.
- 37:07Speaker 2: So don't underestimate just putting on a nice outfit, doing your hair, doing your makeup and doing the things that make you feel good.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Um, that that tweak alone, I promise we'll just set your day up completely different.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Um, even down to the clothes I wear.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Like, if I put on, I guess, today, like I'm just wearing like comfy pants and a singlet top, I have done my makeup today, like I'm just wearing like comfy pants and a singlet top, I have done my makeup, I have done my hair, but kind of comfier clothes versus the days where I'm in a blazer and suit pants.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Those days I feel even more confident, even more successful, even more wealthy.
- 37:44Speaker 2: So it even goes down to the type of clothes you put on and the style of clothes you put on.
- 37:48Speaker 2: So if it is time to start putting more effort into your day in terms of your appearance, again, don't underestimate the impact that that's going to have on your mood.
- 37:57Speaker 2: And when you feel when you feel better, as I said, you feel more confident.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Therefore, you'll make more money.
- 38:02Speaker 2: You'll see more success.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Things will go your way.
- 38:06Speaker 2: The next thing is just putting yourself in situations that make you feel good.
- 38:10Speaker 2: So, if you are currently finding yourself in conversations that drain, you, find different conversations that make you feel empowered.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Be with friends who support you and bring you up, not bring you down.
- 38:22Speaker 2: If that's not possible, if you don't have that within your network right now, I mean, do this anyway.
- 38:28Speaker 2: But get yourself into masterminds.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Get on the wait list for her empire.
- 38:32Speaker 2: If you have a business, be in a room where, where people will support your goals, cheer you on.
- 38:38Speaker 2: When you have an idea, they'll tell you.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Of course, it's going to work out.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Those things are naturally going to make you feel more confident about your goal and make you more inclined to take the steps or, when you do take the steps, actually get the results that you want.
- 38:51Speaker 2: The next thing is acting as if you are confident and adopt that identity.
- 38:56Speaker 2: So showing up tomorrow and pretending that you haven't experienced lack of confidence your whole life.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Wake up tomorrow pretending that as a child, you weren't told you're the shy one.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Wake up tomorrow pretending that business hasn't scared you or going after your goals hasn't scared you.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Act in spite of the discomfort, in spite of the fear, and just embody this new identity of confidence.
- 39:25Speaker 2: And you'll do that by, as I mentioned, dressing like you're confident, acting like you're confident, but even using language as a confident person.
- 39:35Speaker 2: So describing yourself I am confident, I am successful as opposed to like, oh, I'm not very good on social media or I hate public speaking, or every time I go to do a goal, I always fall off the bandwagon.
- 39:50Speaker 2: That's adopting the identity of someone who's not confident.
- 39:53Speaker 2: And your identity will lead to your beliefs, which will lead to your behaviors, which will lead to your results.
- 39:59Speaker 2: So, of course, if you are carrying an identity of someone who's not confident, you'll behave like someone who's not and you'll create results like someone who's not.
- 40:08Speaker 2: So, tomorrow, just act like you're confident, be delusional, act like you've achieved this goal over and over and over again, and approach it from that identity and embody that version.
- 40:21Speaker 2: And then, finally, just being around expanders, which I kind of mentioned before.
- 40:26Speaker 2: But your entire life you have been conditioned by those around you and that's why you have the beliefs that you have right now.
- 40:34Speaker 2: That's why your life looks the way it does, because of that past conditioning.
- 40:39Speaker 2: But your past conditioning doesn't need to run your future.
- 40:42Speaker 2: And so the moment you just get better at letting go of your past and just letting go of how things were and choosing to go into your future different and being around people who will support that future, you will start to embody a new conditioning and, just like I mentioned before, that will result or have a ripple effect of the change that you actually want to seek.
- 41:03Speaker 2: So be around expanders who have already achieved the goal that you want, who are already making the figures in their business that you want to see, who are already at the level in the company, who are naturally just positive and empowering like.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Be around those people because you will morph into them.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Just like, up until this point, you have been the average of those who you spent your entire life with, you get to do the same, but for your future.
- 41:30Speaker 2: So be mindful of who you are in a room with and always ensure that those in the room with you are at least somewhere you want to go so that you can again like, morph into them, you can get their energy, and it pulls down.
- 41:45Speaker 2: It pulls all of those goals off the pedestal.
- 41:47Speaker 2: It's no longer a life that seems too good to be true, like you're literally seeing other people make that money, work in that business, have that success, have whatever it is that you want, like it's living, breathing, walking before you.
- 42:01Speaker 2: It's easier to then believe in it.
- 42:05Speaker 2: And then, very finally, moving on to my evening routines and some habits that I would recommend to feel your most confident and prime your mind for success and wealth is nervous system regulation generally.
- 42:18Speaker 2: So there are so many things you can do for nervous system regulation, but just a few things that I wanted to point out.
- 42:24Speaker 2: One making your space or your home calming.
- 42:27Speaker 2: So turn down your lights, have a candle burning or some incense burning.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Get off your phone if you want to watch tv, turn the brightness.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Turn the brightness down, turn the volume down.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Make your home feel calming.
- 42:43Speaker 2: No phones before bed we hear that one all the time.
- 42:47Speaker 2: But don't underestimate that.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Chamomile tea is really good for nervous system regulation.
- 42:53Speaker 2: But ultimately, what we want to be doing is throughout your day you were in a beta brainwave frequency, which is your high logical alert thinking brain.
- 43:02Speaker 2: We don't want to go to bed with that, but we want to slow our brainwaves down and we can do that by creating a space that will naturally do that.
- 43:10Speaker 2: We want to give ourselves the opportunity to apply the break, because all day we've had our foot on the accelerator in work, running kids around, you know, doing household chores and tasks in the business.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Like our day's been busy.
- 43:24Speaker 2: We've had the foot on the accelerator.
- 43:26Speaker 2: So we need to use our evenings to put our foot on the brake, regulate and slow down the nervous system.
- 43:33Speaker 2: It's called the parasympathetic nervous system and it's ultimately just slowing things back down and applying that brake.
- 43:40Speaker 2: This avoids burnout, this avoids breakdowns, this avoids a shitty night's sleep.
- 43:46Speaker 2: It just means that you're calming yourself so that you can get up the next day and do it all over again, but not with the candle burning at both ends, not as someone who's run out of steam, but as someone who has completely filled her cup back up.
- 44:02Speaker 2: She's feeling energized, she's got the spark and she's ready to do it all over again.
- 44:06Speaker 2: So just having these little habits before you go to bed will be a game changer.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And then, once you jump into bed, my sleep meditation, of course so I've linked that in the show notes below.
- 44:16Speaker 2: That will just ensure that, as you do drift off to sleep and you get into that theta brainwave frequency, which is when you're in a light sleep, what you're listening to is empowering affirmations that will go straight to your subconscious and reprogram it, priming it for success and wealth, which is the easiest routine you could possibly do, because you're literally laying in bed, going to sleep.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Chuck your earphones in and listen to those affirmations and your subconscious will ferment on everything you're listening to just before you go to bed.
- 44:48Speaker 2: So there you go A list of routines that I do every day, habits that will change your inner state, which will change what you're physically manifesting, and then just some pointers on what to do to feel more confident so that you do go after the life that you want and when you do, you get the results that you want.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And when you do, you get the results that you want.
- 45:13Speaker 2: And when you get the results you want, you actually hold onto them, and that's what I want for all of you.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Let me know if you have any questions about any of that.
- 45:21Speaker 2: As I mentioned, this is the start of what's going to be a bit of a series about identifying subconscious blocks and removing them.
- 45:29Speaker 2: And then, of course, if you are interested in coming to my Gold Coast in-person event, that will be on the 21st of September and we'll be taking everything we're learning in this series in person and actually doing this work, actually carving out the time to do this subconscious reprogramming work and priming your brain so that you can manifest the things that you want.
- 45:53Speaker 2: If you have any questions about the event, don't hesitate to send me a DM on Instagram.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Make it a voice note if you would like, otherwise, send me an email.
- 46:03Speaker 2: I'm here to support you in whatever way.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Otherwise, I will leave it there.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Thank you so much for tuning in and I will talk to you guys next week.
