- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to Mediumship Sparks, a place for people who want
- 0:03Speaker 1: to create the spiritual life they actually want to live in. Together,
- 0:06Speaker 1: we're going to explore the many ways we're invited into
- 0:09Speaker 1: greater awareness, deeper healing, and self-trust. The insights, ideas, experiences
- 0:14Speaker 1: shared here are offered to spark curiosity and invite a
- 0:17Speaker 1: deeper exploration of what's unfolding within and around you. May
- 0:22Speaker 1: these conversations help you discover what feels deeply, quietly true
- 0:26Speaker 1: for you. I'm Noelle Dean, intuitive medium and licensed marriage
- 0:29Speaker 1: and family therapist. Quick note before we begin, the podcast
- 0:33Speaker 1: is for educational purposes only and provides general information. It's
- 0:37Speaker 1: not medical or psychological advice and not a substitute for
- 0:40Speaker 1: care from a licensed health professional. Now let's dive in.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Hey, Noelle, how's it going?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Good. How are you? Pretty good.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I like your shelf back there.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Oh, thanks. You've got some neat geodes, huh? Yeah. Yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It just was a boring wall. I had it set
- 0:58Speaker 1: up before I ever really used it for this so much,
- 1:00Speaker 1: but I'm a bit of a crystal collector.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Once you start, you can't stop, right?
- 1:05Speaker 1: You really can't. They just get more beautiful.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:07Speaker 2: They're in every corner.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I have all these random little wood bowls and boxes
- 1:13Speaker 3: and baskets, and they've all got stones all over the place.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Very nice.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I love your plants. I know that's just a background,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but it looks really nice. Do you like Florida?
- 1:23Speaker 3: It's my place on the planet, which I didn't even
- 1:25Speaker 3: know was a thing until I found it.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Like, energetically, it is. I mean, you'll get what I'm saying.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It is my place. Yeah, I get off a plane
- 1:33Speaker 2: here and I.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Can breathe easier and my shoulders drop.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I've heard there's a bunch of ley lines here. I
- 1:39Speaker 3: don't know if that's the real thing, but it's my spot.
- 1:41Speaker 3: There's some stuff that I don't love, but that's everywhere, right?
- 1:44Speaker 1: That is everywhere.
- 1:45Speaker 3: My story is, I don't know. I don't think it's
- 1:47Speaker 3: super uncommon. The starting point of my story is basically midlife.
- 1:52Speaker 3: checked all the boxes, did all the things parents said
- 1:54Speaker 3: to do, go to school, get a good job, find
- 1:57Speaker 3: a partner. And then it turns out there was no
- 2:01Speaker 3: happiness prize. You check the boxes and then I'm not unhappy.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I shouldn't be complaining, right? Because most people think my
- 2:09Speaker 3: life is pretty idyllic. So that led me to ask
- 2:12Speaker 3: the one question, do I have a guide? And then
- 2:15Speaker 3: I blew my life up, changed everything in my world
- 2:19Speaker 3: at the behest of my guides.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And that was about 12 years ago. Fast forward to now.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Where I've been exploring, but I've started, I call myself
- 2:27Speaker 3: a mad spiritual scientist.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So I've been, what can we repeat?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Here's the theory. Let's try some stuff out, observe, review, adjust.
- 2:37Speaker 3: So my concept was like, we make it so exclusive,
- 2:42Speaker 3: such an exclusive.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Club, right?
- 2:44Speaker 3: You have to have a special skills and I'm trying
- 2:46Speaker 3: to prove that's not true. So I've got a little
- 2:49Speaker 3: system that I've been working on and have great results.
- 2:51Speaker 3: And It's a heck of a lot of fun and
- 2:54Speaker 3: it's become my passion project.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's become my calling. That's really what it is.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I'm with you about the mystique of only certain people can.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'm also a believer, genuinely, that anybody could. I use
- 3:05Speaker 1: the analogy often about playing the piano. If you've got
- 3:08Speaker 1: fingers or toes, you can play the piano. Whether you
- 3:10Speaker 1: actually want to, whether you find joy in it, whether
- 3:14Speaker 1: it speaks to your heart, but can you?
- 3:16Speaker 3: You said you didn't know that you had medium capabilities.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I have this whole theory, but I think that's society
- 3:22Speaker 3: beating the stuff out of us that's weird, right? So
- 3:26Speaker 3: we tell these stories to ourselves and I don't know.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I believe that imaginary friends as children are guides.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And what happens when the kid says, my friend Tracy
- 3:34Speaker 3: over there and mom and everybody goes, what? And then
- 3:37Speaker 3: pretty soon the kid learns, yeah, we don't get favor
- 3:40Speaker 3: when we do that. And everyone thinks, so they shut
- 3:42Speaker 3: it off. And then we put all these blocks up.
- 3:45Speaker 3: We have this cultural thing and I'd really love to
- 3:48Speaker 3: see us normalize Wouldn't it be interesting if people said,
- 3:53Speaker 3: you know, that you have those moments where you just
- 3:54Speaker 3: know something and you're like, I didn't study anything about it.
- 3:58Speaker 3: No one's ever talked to me about it. I haven't
- 3:59Speaker 3: read a book about it.
- 4:01Speaker 2: How should I know that?
- 4:02Speaker 3: But I know, I just know it. And I think,
- 4:05Speaker 3: you know, what's weird. is that people pretend that doesn't happen.
- 4:08Speaker 2: We just make up an excuse, right? We tell a story. Oh,
- 4:11Speaker 2: that was, I must've heard this somewhere.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's like you in Florida.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You can't articulate it, right?
- 4:16Speaker 3: But it'd be great if we stopped. I always say
- 4:18Speaker 3: weird is my favorite compliment. That's my highest compliment. But
- 4:22Speaker 3: what if the weird are the people that are pretending
- 4:24Speaker 3: that there isn't something outside of self, or we don't
- 4:28Speaker 3: know things that we shouldn't know, or we don't sometimes say,
- 4:31Speaker 3: you know what? I'm not getting on that plane today
- 4:33Speaker 3: because I don't know. And then something bad happens. So
- 4:37Speaker 3: that's my worldview in a nutshell.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I love that. Sorry, I started laughing because you reminded
- 4:43Speaker 1: me the last time I went for a walk with
- 4:46Speaker 1: a friend of mine. I picked up on something as
- 4:48Speaker 1: we're walking and I look at her and I meant
- 4:50Speaker 1: it from the bottom of my heart. I want to
- 4:53Speaker 1: say something, but it's weird. And she just looks at
- 4:55Speaker 1: me like, are you freaking kidding? I've already delivered messages
- 4:58Speaker 1: from her parents and God.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Only knows what else I've said to her.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And it was just so funny because I really earnestly
- 5:04Speaker 1: meant it, but then we both had a good laugh,
- 5:06Speaker 1: but it was just, but it's weird. And she's like, please, Noelle.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Of course it is, right?
- 5:10Speaker 1: We've been down that road.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I'll always embrace the weird, but I think it would
- 5:13Speaker 2: be nice.
- 5:14Speaker 3: One of the things that I find in talking to people,
- 5:16Speaker 3: especially with working with clients, helping them have their own experience,
- 5:19Speaker 3: get in contact with their guide. They all have this
- 5:23Speaker 3: idea that, It's strange, but they've had experiences their whole life.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And we don't talk about.
- 5:30Speaker 3: It because when you have something that you think is shameful,
- 5:32Speaker 3: you keep it a secret. And then suddenly I worked
- 5:35Speaker 3: with one of my deceased mother's close friends recently. And
- 5:39Speaker 3: she's like, I've had this my whole life. And everyone said,
- 5:43Speaker 3: don't do that. It's weird. And yet she's got precognitive
- 5:47Speaker 3: abilities that she dismisses as nothing. I told her, I said,
- 5:50Speaker 3: here's what I'd like you to do for the next
- 5:52Speaker 3: 24 hours. Just notice if you feel anything or have
- 5:56Speaker 3: a knowing that you can't explain.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The next day I said, did anything come up? And
- 6:00Speaker 2: she said, no.
- 6:01Speaker 3: And I said, okay. And then she said, I did
- 6:04Speaker 3: have this thing happen with my friend. Long story short,
- 6:07Speaker 3: she predicted a turnaround on a mortgage where her friend
- 6:10Speaker 3: had been declined and then suddenly got.
- 6:12Speaker 2: A call back.
- 6:12Speaker 3: And she's like, you're going to get the mortgage. And
- 6:13Speaker 3: an hour later she got the call, but she said
- 6:15Speaker 3: nothing happened. And I'm like, you literally.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Predicted the future.
- 6:19Speaker 1: How is that?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 6:20Speaker 2: That's a big deal. And she's like, oh. I guess
- 6:23Speaker 2: it is a big deal.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And I think that's where we just don't talk about it.
- 6:27Speaker 3: We're all secretly experiencing things that don't make.
- 6:29Speaker 2: A lot of sense or we can't explain logically. And
- 6:33Speaker 2: then we don't tell each other.
- 6:34Speaker 3: This is a woman I've known pretty much my whole life.
- 6:37Speaker 3: And we've never had a conversation like this. And apparently
- 6:41Speaker 3: my mom had some of these things and I didn't
- 6:43Speaker 3: know until she passed away and she didn't know. And
- 6:45Speaker 3: so we're all having these experiences, but we don't talk
- 6:47Speaker 3: about them. That's weird.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'd also like to add, I think for someone like
- 6:52Speaker 1: this woman that you're talking about is such a great
- 6:53Speaker 1: example that I think for her, this is ordinary for her.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It's an everyday thing. I have a cousin like this.
- 6:59Speaker 1: He's around 80 and he calls it his ESP, but
- 7:02Speaker 1: he's had stuff like this his entire life. And he
- 7:05Speaker 1: never really shared about it. He's had big moments where
- 7:08Speaker 1: part of his house caught on fire and he knew
- 7:10Speaker 1: to go home. It has had profound impacts when he listens,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but he gets stuff constantly and it's normal for him.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And he doesn't tell everybody. Some people he tells are like, ah,
- 7:20Speaker 1: come on, but he knows to pay attention to it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I think that's part of the thing about being more
- 7:26Speaker 1: connected is it does become more regular and everyday thing.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So what seems extraordinary gets to be ordinary. So for
- 7:33Speaker 1: this woman, she's like, oh yeah, I just always know
- 7:35Speaker 1: when it's going to rain because it's my knee. I
- 7:37Speaker 1: always know what's going to happen to my friends because
- 7:39Speaker 1: I'm told an hour ahead of time. Normal for her.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I had a question for you.
- 7:43Speaker 3: It sounds like from what you were doing previously and
- 7:47Speaker 3: what you're doing now that your kind of goal with
- 7:49Speaker 3: your clients is to help them reconnect with themselves rather
- 7:53Speaker 3: than to be dependent on you. Is that an accurate definition?
- 7:57Speaker 1: That is my theme.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Without exaggeration. Like I said, I've been revamping my website.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And so this is the thing. Not that I had
- 8:08Speaker 1: anything that implied that I wanted people to depend on me,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but it's been nice to underscore it even more. I
- 8:16Speaker 1: don't want people to depend on me. My purpose, regardless
- 8:19Speaker 1: of what I do, is to help people believe in
- 8:22Speaker 1: themselves by sharing my love and my compassion with them.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I loved working with teenagers because I want to help
- 8:29Speaker 1: people feel better about themselves in their lives. I could
- 8:32Speaker 1: do that all day. And in the spiritual world of
- 8:35Speaker 1: spiritual development, whether it's intuition or mediumship or whatever, just
- 8:41Speaker 1: finding a greater sense of peace, I feel the same way.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I haven't taught a class since early last year, but
- 8:46Speaker 1: I was sitting in the memory of the classes that
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've taught. I'm facilitating, mainly I'm facilitating people opening up
- 8:52Speaker 1: to themselves and the visual that came to me was
- 8:56Speaker 1: like suddenly seeing somebody open themselves and it's like they're
- 9:00Speaker 1: a sunflower. And my job is to be like, God,
- 9:04Speaker 1: look at you. I see all the seeds. I see
- 9:06Speaker 1: the color golden yellow in your petals. Look at that
- 9:09Speaker 1: strong stem. That's beautiful. And those leaves, everybody look, oh
- 9:13Speaker 1: my God, look at the sunflower. And whoever she is,
- 9:16Speaker 1: she's like, Oh my God, I'm a sunflower. I always
- 9:18Speaker 1: knew I was a sunflower. And then we cheer them on.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And then the next person is a rose. And now
- 9:23Speaker 1: we focus on the rose and the beauty of the rose.
- 9:26Speaker 1: A lot of people start taking my class and sometimes
- 9:29Speaker 1: they stop because they're like, oh my God, I got
- 9:31Speaker 1: tuned in and now I'm focused on this thing. Or
- 9:33Speaker 1: they take a few, whatever they do with me. And
- 9:34Speaker 1: then they move on to do something else because they
- 9:37Speaker 1: have a better sense of themselves and confidence and trust
- 9:40Speaker 1: in themselves. That's what I really care about. I take
- 9:43Speaker 1: a lot of classes with somebody who's freaking awesome. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: I probably will for the next 10 years or so.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And he won't be able to shake me off of him,
- 9:51Speaker 1: but he's empowering. He doesn't create dependence, but he just
- 9:54Speaker 1: keeps offering the thing I want to learn next.
- 9:56Speaker 3: So I can't stop. But you're right.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Intuitive, right?
- 10:00Speaker 1: He's amazing. His name is Tony Stockwell. He's a very
- 10:02Speaker 1: famous British medium and he's the teacher. His style works
- 10:07Speaker 1: for me. And this is a very long drawn out
- 10:09Speaker 1: answer to your very simple question, but yeah, you're teaching people.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I don't know what your system is, but you teach
- 10:15Speaker 1: people a system. And I did look on your website
- 10:18Speaker 1: enough to see that you're like, hey, here's the payment
- 10:21Speaker 1: for the work that I put into this system. And
- 10:23Speaker 1: then you're off on your own for the rest of
- 10:24Speaker 1: your life.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And that's why I asked the question, because it resonates
- 10:28Speaker 3: with me. I love the flower metaphor. That's beautiful.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The blooming.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And you could have been describing how I perceived myself also,
- 10:36Speaker 3: where I want people to see the amazing abilities that
- 10:40Speaker 3: they have. And when I say people, I generally mean women,
- 10:43Speaker 3: that they've been... Pretending aren't real or someone told them aren't.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Because the world is hard. We need more encouragement. So
- 10:53Speaker 3: I'm a big believer in lifting women up. But yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 3: exactly the same. I'm not trying to slam the spiritual industry,
- 10:59Speaker 3: but if I had one complaint, it's that 99% of
- 11:03Speaker 3: it is come be dependent on me, the guru, as
- 11:06Speaker 3: opposed to learn yourself. I'd like to teach you to fish,
- 11:10Speaker 3: not fish for you.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It's just that basic metaphor of Independence. That's the whole thing.
- 11:16Speaker 3: It was like, I don't want you to be dependent
- 11:18Speaker 3: on me. I'm not the guide.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I call myself the Sherpa.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I use that too sometimes.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I love Sherpa.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I do. And the Sherpa knows where the crevasse is, right?
- 11:28Speaker 3: And the best route up the mountain and knows when
- 11:30Speaker 3: the weather looks like it's bad, but it's not, or
- 11:33Speaker 3: when it looks like it's bad and it's going to
- 11:35Speaker 3: be bad.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I love that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But it's that person's journey, not ours. And we're not
- 11:39Speaker 1: here to tell them there's a rock, see, it's a rock.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You're like, there's some big rocks over there. And then
- 11:44Speaker 1: you respect their journey, their experience of things. So when
- 11:48Speaker 1: I first read your thing about having a system, I
- 11:51Speaker 1: had a reaction. Everybody has their own individual way of connecting,
- 11:55Speaker 1: receiving information. The signs and signals that we get are
- 11:58Speaker 1: really very different. And I love hearing about that when
- 12:01Speaker 1: people start unfolding to themselves and becoming aware of those things.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But then I had this moment of what am I saying?
- 12:08Speaker 1: If somebody told me 10 years ago, there's an actual system, Noel,
- 12:12Speaker 1: where you can connect with your guides. I'd be like,
- 12:14Speaker 1: holy crap, are you kidding? I haven't reached that point
- 12:17Speaker 1: where I feel any kind of confidence or safety in
- 12:20Speaker 1: doing that on my own. Please tell me the system.
- 12:23Speaker 1: So you're teaching a different way than I am, but
- 12:26Speaker 1: they're all different paths and everybody's going to relate to
- 12:29Speaker 1: something differently. I love that you're doing that and that
- 12:32Speaker 1: you're not looking to create dependence at all also, which is.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It's not typical in this industry.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I know the secret. I know something you don't know.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Believe harder.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Just try harder. Be more quiet. Have more faith. I
- 12:46Speaker 2: like to make things practical. I'm a spiritual gal.
- 12:48Speaker 3: But I've got a core logical scientific brain. And I'm like,
- 12:52Speaker 3: what if we just... created a way to get there
- 12:55Speaker 3: for anyone. I don't have thousands of examples yet, but
- 13:00Speaker 3: we're killing it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: People are getting there.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And the interesting thing is the ones that seem like
- 13:04Speaker 3: they're going to be the hardest, the skeptics, they're the
- 13:08Speaker 3: most fun. They're primarily because they're a blank slate. So
- 13:12Speaker 3: they don't have a bunch of preconceived ideas about we
- 13:15Speaker 3: do this and we do that, and this is what
- 13:17Speaker 3: signs mean, and this is what spirituality means, and the
- 13:20Speaker 3: tarot card said.
- 13:21Speaker 2: That, and all the other things.
- 13:23Speaker 3: But because I don't ask them to believe first and
- 13:26Speaker 3: then get an experience. I ask them to follow a process, observe,
- 13:32Speaker 3: experience it themselves, and draw.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Their own conclusion.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Skeptics are my favorite.
- 13:37Speaker 2: They're a lot of fun.
- 13:37Speaker 3: In the beginning, I was a little nervous about skeptics,
- 13:40Speaker 3: and now I'm like, ooh.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Because they get the biggest reaction. The skeptics are great.
- 13:44Speaker 3: I have this little process. I call it the contact lab.
- 13:47Speaker 3: And we do small group settings. We sit down and
- 13:51Speaker 3: we go through the process. Simple 30-minute calls, like five
- 13:54Speaker 3: of them. And we step through. And by the end,
- 13:58Speaker 3: everyone gets to ask their guide the exact question they
- 14:01Speaker 3: want and get... Brace yourself. We're not waiting for a
- 14:04Speaker 3: feather five days down the road. We ask and get
- 14:08Speaker 3: an answer right now. And does the feather mean yes or.
- 14:13Speaker 2: No or yes, but next week or, you know what
- 14:18Speaker 2: I'm saying?
- 14:19Speaker 3: I've met so many people that have become masters of
- 14:24Speaker 3: finding signs and symbols and synchronicities, and yet they're still
- 14:29Speaker 3: confused and unsure.
- 14:31Speaker 2: What if we just skip.
- 14:32Speaker 3: The whole treasure hunt, scavenger hunt thing and ask our
- 14:35Speaker 3: guides directly?
- 14:37Speaker 2: So that's the goal.
- 14:38Speaker 1: That does make sense. I know you have your system
- 14:41Speaker 1: and I'm not going to ask you to tell us
- 14:43Speaker 1: what your system is, but anything else that you'd like
- 14:46Speaker 1: to share about the system, I would love to hear more,
- 14:49Speaker 1: but give me one sec. Cause I had another question brewing.
- 14:53Speaker 1: So one of the things that it sounds like you're
- 14:56Speaker 1: saying is it provides a certainty, like an immediate certainty
- 15:00Speaker 1: about things.
- 15:02Speaker 3: We literally get yes and no answers. To start with,
- 15:05Speaker 3: what's working your way towards being able to channel? It's
- 15:08Speaker 3: baby stepping into the shallow end of the pool, get
- 15:11Speaker 3: some basics, and then eventually open up to the fact
- 15:14Speaker 3: that I believe, I try not to say this is
- 15:17Speaker 3: the way it is because who could possibly know? But
- 15:21Speaker 3: the things that you do and say, I think 99%
- 15:27Speaker 3: of what we do and say is guided, but we
- 15:29Speaker 3: don't attribute it that way. Even as I'm talking to you,
- 15:32Speaker 3: I hear the conversation and sometimes I go, Where did
- 15:35Speaker 3: that come from? Oh, that sounded pretty good. Or what
- 15:38Speaker 3: were you thinking when you said that? And I know
- 15:40Speaker 3: it's because I'm channeling all the time. I believe that
- 15:42Speaker 3: I'm clairaudient, but I don't hear an actual voice. It's
- 15:46Speaker 3: just there, if that makes sense. There's not a sound.
- 15:49Speaker 3: The thoughts are just forming in real time. I don't
- 15:53Speaker 3: even have a label for that.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Can I jump in a little?
- 15:58Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah. So it sounds like you're talking about claircognizance. So
- 16:03Speaker 1: try on that Claire audience is a hearing. So like
- 16:05Speaker 1: you might wake up with a song every day. It
- 16:07Speaker 1: might be way in the back. So you have to
- 16:09Speaker 1: be like, wait, be quiet for a minute and hear
- 16:11Speaker 1: the song. But you actually do hear it in your head.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Some people experience like they hear from the outside. So
- 16:18Speaker 1: that would be more like physical mediumship versus like mental mediumship,
- 16:21Speaker 1: which is what happens on the inside. But I think
- 16:25Speaker 1: getting some chills all up my legs. So look, you're
- 16:29Speaker 1: not a Claire's person because you have a system. I think,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but just try on the idea that you might be
- 16:35Speaker 1: a lot more, not just attuned, but your senses might
- 16:38Speaker 1: be giving you information differently than you think it is.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I think claircognizance is the trickiest one because there is no,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I know what I heard or I know what I saw.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It just pops in and it comes out. And I
- 16:49Speaker 1: feel like when a lot of conversations, whenever I do
- 16:52Speaker 1: a podcast, whenever I'm in the reading space, I am
- 16:55Speaker 1: most definitely collaborating. What comes out of my mouth, if
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm tuned in the way I am right now, is
- 17:01Speaker 1: the co-creation. But there's no negotiation in my head. I
- 17:05Speaker 1: feel into the information. And then what comes out is
- 17:09Speaker 1: the product of that. You're describing the same kind of system.
- 17:12Speaker 1: You might see it a bit differently, but I pay
- 17:14Speaker 1: attention to the clairs because I'm very picky. And also
- 17:17Speaker 1: because when I teach, I do want people to understand
- 17:19Speaker 1: the different clairs. But then we do a mashup of
- 17:23Speaker 1: everything as we're living this. So you probably have a
- 17:27Speaker 1: little bit of everything, maybe.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 17:31Speaker 3: The woman that I described earlier who didn't know about
- 17:34Speaker 3: what she was experiencing, maybe I have some.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Of that too. You just, it's the way it is.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Yeah. As a kid, I talked to myself a lot
- 17:41Speaker 3: or did I?
- 17:42Speaker 1: I'm sure you didn't, but. And then you kind of
- 17:47Speaker 1: knew the answer. Maybe you articulated it and then you
- 17:50Speaker 1: heard it and we can really develop. I was mentioning
- 17:52Speaker 1: about this medical intuition training that I was in. And
- 17:56Speaker 1: I remember the teacher was very firm about, That you
- 17:59Speaker 1: should only see the information because that is the most neutral.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And I'm sure she did that because she didn't want
- 18:04Speaker 1: us to absorb other people's physical issues because that's the
- 18:08Speaker 1: danger of working with medical stuff. But I was like, no,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I hear stuff. Don't make me try to see.
- 18:15Speaker 3: All right.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Okay, fine, fine.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I'm here.
- 18:17Speaker 1: All right. Show me. Please show me, guides. Please show me.
- 18:20Speaker 1: And I really learned kind of a little bit the
- 18:23Speaker 1: hard way. You can develop all of those other senses.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So if you love Claire audience, you could be like, hey,
- 18:29Speaker 1: ask more to hear things. For a long time, all
- 18:33Speaker 1: I got were song lyrics, little chunks of songs. And
- 18:36Speaker 1: that sometimes would compile a message. But that was the
- 18:39Speaker 1: only one I was aware of for a long time.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And not that it matters because you're like the walking
- 18:44Speaker 1: radar that you are. You may care or not care
- 18:47Speaker 1: too much about how it's coming in, but it comes in.
- 18:50Speaker 1: which is the important part. You feel plugged in and
- 18:52Speaker 1: that's an awesome feeling.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 18:57Speaker 3: You'd said something about the internal versus external. Can you
- 19:01Speaker 3: describe body versus mind in terms of how you receive things?
- 19:05Speaker 3: Can you describe that? Because that's an area that I
- 19:08Speaker 3: don't know anything about. Sure.
- 19:10Speaker 1: So I look at body and mind as internal and
- 19:14Speaker 1: then physical stuff on the outside. Let me think of
- 19:17Speaker 1: an example. Give me an example, please. Let's do mind
- 19:23Speaker 1: versus body even. So information just coming in and you're
- 19:28Speaker 1: not even aware it's just coming out of your mouth
- 19:30Speaker 1: because it's coming into your brain. Claircognizance, like this naturally
- 19:34Speaker 1: downloading process, very smooth and flowy. There could be clairvoyance
- 19:39Speaker 1: where you actually see things. You could smell things. That's clairalience.
- 19:43Speaker 1: But physical is clairsentience. And there are times in certain readings,
- 19:47Speaker 1: it's shocking to me how much stuff I feel. I
- 19:50Speaker 1: might just feel a little pressure on my head. Sometimes
- 19:52Speaker 1: I get it in my third eye. One reading, I
- 19:54Speaker 1: got the weirdest little sensation right here by my eye.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And I was just like, I don't think I've ever
- 20:00Speaker 1: felt that area of my body. And when I say
- 20:02Speaker 1: it in the reading, the woman that I'm meeting with,
- 20:05Speaker 1: my client in that moment was like, I was just
- 20:07Speaker 1: feeling that. And I was like, okay. I had breast
- 20:09Speaker 1: cancer and I had surgery. So I have a big
- 20:12Speaker 1: part of my body that's very numb. Sometimes I get
- 20:14Speaker 1: a sharp poke in an area. I feel nothing naturally.
- 20:19Speaker 1: There are times when they're making it, they being whoever
- 20:22Speaker 1: it is in spirit is making their presence very clear
- 20:24Speaker 1: using the different senses. I also don't have a strong
- 20:27Speaker 1: sense of smell, but once in a while I'll get,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I got my friend's mom's floral perfume. That was really
- 20:33Speaker 1: nice to smell. So it's kind of everything. I feel
- 20:37Speaker 1: like I just went on a tangent, but you were
- 20:38Speaker 1: asking physical versus mental. Yeah. And so imagine that physical
- 20:43Speaker 1: mediumship is like, you see a spirit in the room
- 20:45Speaker 1: that other people can also see.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You've probably had that before. So that's physical mediumship. It's
- 20:52Speaker 1: outside of your physical body, but mental supposedly there's so
- 20:57Speaker 1: many terms that you can use or not use depending,
- 21:00Speaker 1: but is really meant to be what you experience within
- 21:03Speaker 1: your internal system.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:06Speaker 2: That makes a lot of sense.
- 21:08Speaker 3: So I believe that my system is fully channeled and
- 21:11Speaker 3: there's elements of it that I'm doing because it makes
- 21:16Speaker 3: sense to me or because I've been given it. But
- 21:19Speaker 3: now that you're talking about these different elements of the
- 21:21Speaker 3: Claire's and the internal, external body mind, I've woven a
- 21:25Speaker 3: lot of those things into the course. As I'm listening
- 21:27Speaker 3: to you talk, I'm like, oh yeah, we do a
- 21:30Speaker 3: whole thing. I call it a fingerprint signature, which is
- 21:34Speaker 3: a body sensation when you're receiving a message. And if
- 21:37Speaker 3: you can tune into that, then you can differentiate between,
- 21:42Speaker 3: did I make that up? Or that's a message from
- 21:45Speaker 3: my guide. And once you figure out what it is,
- 21:48Speaker 3: it's the same all the time for you. So for me,
- 21:50Speaker 3: it's almost like a humming feeling in my heart and
- 21:53Speaker 3: it's warm and it's just something. And then once you
- 21:56Speaker 3: tune into it now, you go, oh, oh yeah, I
- 22:00Speaker 3: do feel that. And you can instantly know.
- 22:03Speaker 2: If you can.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Pinpoint that feeling, then you instantly know the difference between
- 22:08Speaker 3: your own thought versus something that you've received.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So you're saying that if you got the little chunk
- 22:12Speaker 1: of information that seemed to just float in and you're like, wait,
- 22:15Speaker 1: was that something I remembered or making up? Or was
- 22:18Speaker 1: that an actual message? You tune into your body and
- 22:21Speaker 1: for you, you would say, wait, is my heart humming?
- 22:25Speaker 3: Oh, it is.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So that was a message like that?
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yep. Yep. It's literally like a little waving flag saying
- 22:31Speaker 3: kind of like your thing on your eye if you
- 22:33Speaker 3: started having that consistently that might be one of the
- 22:36Speaker 3: ways in which you said you've got poked in the
- 22:39Speaker 3: areas that were numb and generally speaking once you figure
- 22:42Speaker 3: out what it is it's consistent but that's one of
- 22:44Speaker 3: the things that I work with my students to try
- 22:46Speaker 3: to identify that feeling so that they can differentiate.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Gotcha so Can we dive into this a little bit more?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Cause I'm curious now.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Sure.
- 22:56Speaker 1: So is that a, yes, that was a message or
- 22:59Speaker 1: is that a, that's my guide Herman?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yes, that's a message.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 23:05Speaker 3: If you take signs and symbols, synchronicities to me, that's
- 23:09Speaker 3: proof of presence, proof that you have some kind of connection.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And I'm trying to translate that, not I'm trying to
- 23:15Speaker 3: translate that into the proof of actual understanding, which would
- 23:20Speaker 3: be the conversation.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You're going to save people a whole lot of time.
- 23:23Speaker 1: with a system like that. I teach people to pick
- 23:25Speaker 1: up on the subtle and to try not to interpret
- 23:28Speaker 1: for themselves what it is, but just take it at
- 23:31Speaker 1: face value and then sit with it. My system, and
- 23:34Speaker 1: this is the first thing that I usually teach people,
- 23:37Speaker 1: is to get a yes and a no as a
- 23:40Speaker 1: signal through their intuition. For me, this is my- Show
- 23:43Speaker 1: me a yes. So I lean forward and then please
- 23:45Speaker 1: show me a no and I lean back. So when
- 23:47Speaker 1: I get something during a reading, I might ask, wait,
- 23:50Speaker 1: am I getting this right? Which I ask all the
- 23:52Speaker 1: time when I'm doing a reading. And then I'll start
- 23:54Speaker 1: leaning forward as a yes. Or I sometimes get a
- 23:57Speaker 1: big yes and I lean forward very quickly and very much.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Muscle testing.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I've heard it called energy testing. And I was asking you,
- 24:05Speaker 1: is this Herman or is this a yes? Because I
- 24:08Speaker 1: would imagine with your system, it sounds like similar to
- 24:12Speaker 1: how I teach. I also want people to have calling cards,
- 24:14Speaker 1: even though I don't think it's as viable as I
- 24:17Speaker 1: actually really think it would be. I'm still hopeful, but
- 24:21Speaker 1: it hasn't really worked out that way, but I would
- 24:23Speaker 1: love it to be like, this song comes to your
- 24:25Speaker 1: head or you feel a sensation for a little while.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I have curly hair. And for a little while I
- 24:29Speaker 1: would feel as if somebody was playing with your hair. Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And that was my aunt Sandy. So she had the
- 24:34Speaker 1: calling card, but you could do that with your system too.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You might not want to, because that's maybe a little
- 24:39Speaker 1: less practical than you're really trying to make it. But
- 24:42Speaker 1: just saying. That's cool too sometimes for identifiable people.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it. That's very similar. We're doing is
- 24:49Speaker 2: very similar.
- 24:50Speaker 3: And if I'm being 100% honest, I don't think that
- 24:53Speaker 3: the fingerprint signature is actually all that important to people
- 24:56Speaker 3: like you and I. But for someone that's learning, the
- 24:59Speaker 3: whole thing comes down to trust. And people love things
- 25:04Speaker 3: in the physical world, not in the mental world. So
- 25:08Speaker 3: we got to give them body experiences, things that they
- 25:11Speaker 3: can see and touch that are much harder to explain away.
- 25:17Speaker 1: What it sounds like is you're actually providing a sense
- 25:21Speaker 1: of certainty that I don't offer. Give me one moment, please.
- 25:28Speaker 1: They're saying that you are removing uncertainty earlier on than
- 25:32Speaker 1: maybe my system ever could.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 25:35Speaker 1: So you're saving in some ways, you could be saving somebody,
- 25:38Speaker 1: this is how they're showing me, two, three to five
- 25:41Speaker 1: years of the uncertainty of the information that they're getting,
- 25:45Speaker 1: especially when somebody doesn't have a lot of time to
- 25:47Speaker 1: sit with, let me practice again.
- 25:49Speaker 3: If we all could meditate like a monk on a
- 25:52Speaker 3: mountaintop for six months straight, 10 hours a day, then cool,
- 25:56Speaker 3: no problem. But that doesn't, at least in this country,
- 26:00Speaker 3: that doesn't really fit with the practical world.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And that's the thing. I think some of the people
- 26:05Speaker 1: that I've met have been sitting with this kind of
- 26:09Speaker 1: thing sometimes for years. I think I know some stuff,
- 26:13Speaker 1: but I'm not really sure what to do with that.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Or my friend told me about this and now I
- 26:16Speaker 1: want to pursue this. But it sounds like for you,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you're like, okay, this is very practical, very sustainable and
- 26:23Speaker 1: reusable all the time. A lot of people don't have
- 26:26Speaker 1: the luxury of time. And maybe they just are starting
- 26:29Speaker 1: their spiritual awakening and they really want to get somewhere
- 26:32Speaker 1: with it. And you're like, dude, I've got a system.
- 26:33Speaker 1: And they're like, how the fricking Lou.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Because I don't want to spend five years pretending I
- 26:38Speaker 1: can sit on top of a mountaintop and then glean
- 26:41Speaker 1: this information. You're making it very, not just practical, but
- 26:47Speaker 1: look in five 30 minute calls. That's something.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's accessible.
- 26:53Speaker 2: I've spent 12 years.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Creating this essentially. The day that I said, do I
- 27:00Speaker 3: have a guide? And I got an answer that was yes.
- 27:03Speaker 3: I thought this is the greatest day ever. And then
- 27:05Speaker 3: my entire life was turned upside down. I literally blew
- 27:08Speaker 3: up a business, blew up a relationship, craziness as a
- 27:12Speaker 3: result of the guidance that I was getting. And then
- 27:13Speaker 3: it was like, because this is the path that you
- 27:17Speaker 3: need to be on. It didn't unfold all in the beginning.
- 27:20Speaker 3: It wasn't like, we're going to have this carnival ride
- 27:23Speaker 3: of craziness. I got your life as you know it
- 27:26Speaker 3: is over. And I thought, woohoo, my ship has arrived, right?
- 27:31Speaker 2: Things are going to go from good to amazing.
- 27:34Speaker 3: And it was like, no, we have to level the
- 27:39Speaker 3: current home, theoretically, to build a new one.
- 27:43Speaker 2: And you don't know what the prize is at the
- 27:44Speaker 2: other end.
- 27:44Speaker 3: But for me, the prize is this is the work
- 27:48Speaker 3: that I'm here to do. Or I shouldn't say work
- 27:51Speaker 3: because I don't really consider it work. Maybe service is
- 27:53Speaker 3: a better answer or You can make money or you can.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Make a difference. And I don't know.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I feel like the world needs some help right now.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Understatement in some ways. And look, helping people be more
- 28:06Speaker 1: connected to themselves and those that love them and watch
- 28:09Speaker 1: over them in spirit. How much better does it get?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, there'd be a lot less hate and violence in
- 28:14Speaker 3: the world if people were a little more comfortable with themselves,
- 28:17Speaker 3: focusing on themselves and what makes them happy.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And it's not all selfish, right?
- 28:23Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 28:24Speaker 1: You're a great example of this. I'm sorry to hear
- 28:26Speaker 1: how your whole life had to blow up because I'm
- 28:28Speaker 1: sure that was extremely painful at times. You never know
- 28:31Speaker 1: what the prize is. And now you have a life
- 28:33Speaker 1: and I can see it on your face where you
- 28:35Speaker 1: get to live in the flow. And I don't think
- 28:38Speaker 1: anything feels better than that. And that's its own reward.
- 28:42Speaker 1: It feels fulfilling to know that you're that connected, that
- 28:45Speaker 1: you're supporting people in this core way. I love that energy.
- 28:49Speaker 1: And Other people I know that support people, that's the shit.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You get to live in that? Yeah, sign me up.
- 28:54Speaker 1: But you never know. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer,
- 28:58Speaker 1: it was terrifying. I had no idea how my life
- 29:01Speaker 1: was going to go and if it was going to
- 29:03Speaker 1: keep going or not. It was scary. But I can't
- 29:07Speaker 1: regret a moment of it, even though it has its
- 29:11Speaker 1: imprint on me in certain ways in my body. It
- 29:14Speaker 1: set me free in so many ways. And I hear
- 29:16Speaker 1: you about the work part. But I guess I say
- 29:19Speaker 1: work too, but our life's work, not the chore that
- 29:22Speaker 1: I have to do. Grabbing the shower, that's fucking work.
- 29:25Speaker 1: But our life's work, our passion, it's written all over
- 29:30Speaker 1: your face. It's nice to see that. Yeah, the joy
- 29:33Speaker 1: that it brings you.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Something that gets you out of bed in the morning,
- 29:35Speaker 3: other than.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Just the smell of the coffee.
- 29:38Speaker 1: That's nice too, but yeah.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Because, you know. you.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I've been in that life's great working in the corporate world,
- 29:44Speaker 3: got a corner office, making a good salary, stock options.
- 29:48Speaker 3: But one day you wake up and it's all gone
- 29:50Speaker 3: and you think it's the worst thing that could possibly
- 29:52Speaker 3: happen to you. And you realize that was the thing
- 29:55Speaker 3: that needed to happen. to get to the next important thing.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But you don't know it in the moment. There's no
- 30:00Speaker 1: spiritual bypassing the pain and grief, physical or emotional. We're
- 30:06Speaker 1: still also human beings. That you keep at it, that
- 30:09Speaker 1: you follow the breadcrumbs that you're being shown, that you
- 30:12Speaker 1: go with the guidance that you got, despite what feels
- 30:14Speaker 1: like the consequences of following that, because you can't unknow
- 30:17Speaker 1: something when you feel it in your bones. You just,
- 30:21Speaker 1: you can't. If you do, you must have to probably
- 30:23Speaker 1: start drinking a whole lot. to not be reminded of
- 30:26Speaker 1: it all the time.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's an interesting concept.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Because I'm a marketing person at my core, or at
- 30:35Speaker 3: least that's what my training was, I'm always trying to
- 30:38Speaker 3: figure out, okay, yeah, you can show people how to
- 30:41Speaker 3: get to their guide, but no one wakes up and says,
- 30:44Speaker 3: I want to get to my guide. Maybe some do,
- 30:47Speaker 3: but mostly people wake up and go, I want better relationships,
- 30:51Speaker 3: or I want more money, or I want better health,
- 30:53Speaker 3: or I want.
- 30:54Speaker 2: To make decisions I trust.
- 30:55Speaker 3: So that's what I kind of circled around to is like,
- 30:58Speaker 3: if you have the guidance, you can start to make
- 31:01Speaker 3: decisions you trust and then feel confident about that. And
- 31:05Speaker 3: the interesting thing.
- 31:06Speaker 2: About my journey is that because of what happened in
- 31:08Speaker 2: the beginning, there was a lot of chaos.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I spent much of that time period going, I don't
- 31:15Speaker 3: trust my decisions. I can't tell you how many times
- 31:17Speaker 3: I've said my intuition is terrible. Look at these things
- 31:21Speaker 3: that I've invited into my life and all of these
- 31:23Speaker 3: steps that I've taken that have, to the outside world,
- 31:26Speaker 3: look like disastrous results. But like you said, you have
- 31:30Speaker 3: to follow the breadcrumbs. And the breadcrumbs, nobody lays out
- 31:34Speaker 3: the map and says, if my guide had said on
- 31:37Speaker 3: the first day, we're going to have 12 miserable years
- 31:39Speaker 3: and then stuff's going to start being really good, I
- 31:41Speaker 3: would have said, I don't think I'm in for that.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Right? But that's the way it works.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Check, please.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'm going to go to a different restaurant because this
- 31:48Speaker 1: isn't working for me.
- 31:50Speaker 3: And then I've had people say, you had a rough
- 31:52Speaker 3: experience and you think it's a good idea to teach
- 31:55Speaker 3: other people this?
- 31:56Speaker 2: And I'm like, I think my path is a little different.
- 31:58Speaker 3: I don't think everyone that wants to contact their guide
- 32:01Speaker 3: needs to have some epic, overly, I don't know, grandiose
- 32:08Speaker 3: idea of what they're doing on the planet.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I think people would just be happier.
- 32:12Speaker 3: But learning to be confident in it and follow the
- 32:14Speaker 3: breadcrumbs and then teach other people to do that, right?
- 32:17Speaker 2: This is the whole walking the talk thing. Yeah, it's
- 32:20Speaker 2: an interesting journey.
- 32:22Speaker 3: It sounds like your journey has similarly been filled with
- 32:25Speaker 3: some challenges that if everything goes perfectly in your life
- 32:29Speaker 3: every single day, you're learning absolutely nothing.
- 32:32Speaker 2: You're growing in no way at all. I'll tell you
- 32:35Speaker 2: a quick story.
- 32:36Speaker 3: My father, who is 88, and I moved him from
- 32:39Speaker 3: Seattle to Florida to be near me.
- 32:41Speaker 2: So we're spending time together.
- 32:43Speaker 3: He doesn't remember this story, but when I was in
- 32:45Speaker 3: high school, I went on a ski bus every Saturday.
- 32:49Speaker 3: It would drive you up the mountain. We ski all
- 32:50Speaker 3: day and come home. He would drop me off in
- 32:52Speaker 3: the morning at 6 a.m. and pick me up at
- 32:54Speaker 3: 5 in the afternoon and say, how many times did
- 32:56Speaker 3: you fall today?
- 32:58Speaker 2: And I'd say, I didn't fall at all. And he'd go, oh, okay.
- 33:03Speaker 3: And then next Saturday, pick me up again, ask the question,
- 33:06Speaker 3: how many times did you fall today?
- 33:07Speaker 2: I didn't fall today.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I don't fall. Eight weeks in, last week of the
- 33:11Speaker 3: ski bus, picks me up, asks me the question, how
- 33:14Speaker 3: many times did you fall today?
- 33:16Speaker 2: None, dad. I don't fall. He said, that's too bad.
- 33:20Speaker 2: You didn't learn anything today.
- 33:22Speaker 3: He doesn't remember this to this day, but I'm like,
- 33:24Speaker 3: it's such a huge mind blowing.
- 33:27Speaker 2: So simple and yet so powerful.
- 33:29Speaker 3: All of those challenges that life throws at us tend
- 33:32Speaker 3: to lead to better things. Sometimes you got to level
- 33:34Speaker 3: the house if you want to build the nicer house
- 33:37Speaker 3: or the dream house.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Life brings it in for you. We don't hire it, right?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Getting more connected to yourself. really living out of what
- 33:47Speaker 1: actually feels true to you in a profound way that
- 33:50Speaker 1: you can't even explain. It's really worth it, but yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 1: it can turn your whole life upside down and nobody
- 33:58Speaker 1: would consciously necessarily want to sign up for that part
- 34:01Speaker 1: of it. So it's probably better that we really don't
- 34:03Speaker 1: know what's ahead because we might be like, no, nevermind.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I can't do that.
- 34:07Speaker 1: So here's the real question. How many times did you
- 34:10Speaker 1: actually fall? Now I have to know how much you fell.
- 34:12Speaker 3: I really didn't fall. Yeah, no, I was whatever. I
- 34:15Speaker 3: was a good athlete and I was pretty good scare.
- 34:17Speaker 3: But after that, I pushed myself harder. That was the
- 34:21Speaker 3: outcome is if you want to get better, got to
- 34:25Speaker 3: get better, which I'm sensing you've got some of that
- 34:28Speaker 3: in you.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's evolution.
- 34:29Speaker 3: And that's what I was going to say about the
- 34:31Speaker 3: spirit guide thing is I completely recognize and acknowledge that
- 34:35Speaker 3: a vast majority of people on the planet would like
- 34:38Speaker 3: to have their guide to tell them, should I go
- 34:40Speaker 3: to Maui for vacation or should I hit Lisbon? They're
- 34:43Speaker 3: not interested in what's the meaning of life. What kind
- 34:48Speaker 3: of questions are you going to ask? Because a lot
- 34:50Speaker 3: of people really just want basic stuff. Should I get
- 34:53Speaker 3: a new job? Should I break up with this guy
- 34:55Speaker 3: that keeps cheating on me? That's a perfectly valid reason.
- 34:58Speaker 3: It doesn't have to be existential crisis every time you
- 35:00Speaker 3: ask your guide a question.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I gave myself a little mediumship retreat a couple of
- 35:03Speaker 1: years ago and I asked, it was amazing. I was
- 35:06Speaker 1: in the middle of basically the woods. So connection was grand.
- 35:10Speaker 1: And I was like, let me just ask my guide
- 35:12Speaker 1: for the heck of it. So what would you suggest?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Do you have any suggestions for me about my life
- 35:17Speaker 1: or changes in my life? Thinking nothing. And I heard
- 35:21Speaker 1: very clearly nothing. If you stop eating animal products, you'll
- 35:25Speaker 1: live decades longer.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Interesting. I love steak.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I love ice cream. What are you talking about? Don't
- 35:35Speaker 1: ask a question you don't want the answer to because
- 35:37Speaker 1: it may make you make changes you're not anticipating. And
- 35:41Speaker 1: you might be that guest nobody wants to invite over
- 35:43Speaker 1: for dinner anymore.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Are you a pescatarian then?
- 35:46Speaker 2: Or an all meat?
- 35:48Speaker 3: I'm a vegan. No, but you're in San Diego. How
- 35:51Speaker 3: could you survive without fish tacos?
- 35:53Speaker 1: I don't know. I really don't know. I cheat with
- 35:56Speaker 1: desserts here and there, but I have not had meat.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I gave myself two weeks. I said, do I have
- 36:02Speaker 1: to start in six months from now? And she just
- 36:04Speaker 1: kind of laughingly was like, hey, take your time. I'm like, nevermind.
- 36:09Speaker 1: So I gave myself a week or two and then, yeah,
- 36:12Speaker 1: I switched over. I was a regular guilty carnivore before,
- 36:16Speaker 1: but don't ask a question you don't want an answer
- 36:18Speaker 1: to because it might be much bigger change than you're anticipating.
- 36:22Speaker 1: And I just, I feel like I want to go
- 36:24Speaker 1: back to you saying my intuition is terrible because I
- 36:26Speaker 1: know you didn't really mean that, but you were just
- 36:28Speaker 1: saying it seems like things keep not working out the
- 36:31Speaker 1: way I'm intending and to an outside person, it might
- 36:33Speaker 1: look like my intuition is terrible. And I'm sure part
- 36:37Speaker 1: of that was your own testing ground to learn how
- 36:39Speaker 1: to actually trust in a much more profound way because
- 36:42Speaker 1: it's not vacation here or there. It's huge life choices
- 36:46Speaker 1: that you go inside. to get the inner knowing. And
- 36:50Speaker 1: sometimes it seems completely unreasonable.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Because you can't see the whole path. You only see
- 36:57Speaker 3: this moment and this particular fork that you're at. And
- 37:01Speaker 3: one path often looks a lot better than the other.
- 37:04Speaker 2: But that's because you can't see the whole map out
- 37:06Speaker 2: in front of you.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Or at least in my experience, I don't get that
- 37:10Speaker 3: whole thing, especially when it's an ugly path. We're not
- 37:13Speaker 3: putting this in a small print on the bottle. There's
- 37:15Speaker 3: no warning here. They said your life, as you know,
- 37:17Speaker 3: it is over. Wow.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine getting a message like that.
- 37:23Speaker 3: It never even occurred to me for a second, Noelle.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I literally was like, woohoo, my ship, it's come. I
- 37:30Speaker 3: had no clue. It's still hilarious. My ex and I
- 37:33Speaker 3: joke about that a lot, the ex that I broke
- 37:35Speaker 3: up with because my guy said to. We often say,
- 37:38Speaker 3: that's like code word for, oh, shit.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Your life as you know it is over. And we
- 37:43Speaker 2: both just go, oh. But yeah, so. You're right.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Don't ask the questions you're not ready for the answer to.
- 37:50Speaker 3: It's a good role for attorneys and people in the
- 37:53Speaker 3: spiritual space as well.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Unless you're really willing to change everything and not like
- 37:59Speaker 1: the bad stuff, everything. I really admire that you did
- 38:02Speaker 1: that because how much faith would that take to, and
- 38:07Speaker 1: to stay on that path, even though it got ugly
- 38:09Speaker 1: and unexpected stuff happened or didn't happen.
- 38:12Speaker 3: My last 12 years has been a lot like, it
- 38:16Speaker 3: feels like 10 lifetimes. of stuff where you just, you
- 38:20Speaker 3: can't foresee what's going to happen. But that's the journey
- 38:24Speaker 3: and that's the path that I needed to be on.
- 38:26Speaker 3: There were so many times going back. I feel like
- 38:28Speaker 3: my intuition is broken is because there were so many
- 38:30Speaker 3: times where I was like, why are you still listening
- 38:34Speaker 3: when the external outcome has been so awful? Are you stupid?
- 38:41Speaker 3: When someone lies to you 10 times, you don't say
- 38:44Speaker 3: to them, are you lying? Because they're always lying, right?
- 38:50Speaker 3: How do you know they're lying? Their lips are moving, right?
- 38:52Speaker 2: You got to roll with it.
- 38:53Speaker 3: I never thought of myself as having a calling or
- 38:55Speaker 3: anything like that. I just thought I was a person
- 38:58Speaker 3: here doing the best I could, trying to enjoy life,
- 39:00Speaker 3: trying to be a positive influence in the world.
- 39:03Speaker 2: But here we are. Here we are.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Hey, if I pick up on something for you, is
- 39:08Speaker 1: it okay if I share it?
- 39:10Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 39:10Speaker 1: A moment ago, I got when you mentioned it again,
- 39:13Speaker 1: just a moment ago, the term that came to me
- 39:16Speaker 1: was that you were fast tracked. And then just now
- 39:19Speaker 1: they were saying, when you were saying how everything kind
- 39:21Speaker 1: of got decimated in your life, they gave me this
- 39:25Speaker 1: sense that you blindly followed. And then there was like
- 39:27Speaker 1: this congratulations and, I don't want to get overly emotional,
- 39:31Speaker 1: but I can feel the emotion of that. And I
- 39:33Speaker 1: know you said your dad's in your dad's here, but
- 39:36Speaker 1: I feel this fatherly energy from spirit of like, Oh,
- 39:41Speaker 1: I can just feel the intensity of the emotion of it.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And I'm getting some confirmation chills up my right leg.
- 39:45Speaker 1: And it's like, I just want to grab you and
- 39:47Speaker 1: squeeze you. So proud. Oh my God, my girl. The
- 39:51Speaker 1: congratulations is letting go of the fear and then turning
- 39:54Speaker 1: your life around. Like how much blind faith and courage
- 39:57Speaker 1: that must have taken. It feels like there's a finish
- 40:01Speaker 1: line and he was waiting at the finish line. Just
- 40:04Speaker 1: that big squeeze of pride and loving you and cheering
- 40:08Speaker 1: for you.
- 40:08Speaker 2: And just, oh, That's beautiful. Thank you. This will be
- 40:13Speaker 2: an interesting question to kick around.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I believe that our energies are.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Living past, present, future all at once.
- 40:21Speaker 3: So that may well be my father, even though he's alive.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I'm sure that it is. He's the greatest guy on
- 40:27Speaker 2: the planet. Yeah, definitely. That fits.
- 40:32Speaker 3: You believe in soul connections and people that you drag
- 40:34Speaker 3: around with you. There's the family that you would choose
- 40:38Speaker 3: to have in your life if they weren't your blood.
- 40:40Speaker 2: And it's not all of them. It's not even most
- 40:44Speaker 2: of them, but there's a few.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Yes.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 2: You follow me there.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 1: How cool that you invited him to be your dad
- 40:53Speaker 1: this time.
- 40:56Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure that my last birthday card said something
- 40:59Speaker 3: like that. That you chose to be with us. Doesn't
- 41:03Speaker 3: have any idea what I'm doing. He just knows I
- 41:05Speaker 3: work hard. it means nothing to him so for him
- 41:08Speaker 3: to say you chose us is a very interesting choice
- 41:12Speaker 3: of words because it's not that doesn't really even fit
- 41:14Speaker 3: his belief system in fact if i bet if i
- 41:15Speaker 3: told him that it was in that card he'd say
- 41:17Speaker 3: nah i didn't write that that doesn't make any sense
- 41:21Speaker 3: there's no logic in that.
- 41:23Speaker 1: So you were channeling is what you're saying dad yes that.
- 41:27Speaker 3: And he'd say channeling what what does that mean.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I'm excited for people to find you and your system.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I'm seeing a visual turn key. You put the key in,
- 41:36Speaker 1: you turn it, and the door opens.
- 41:39Speaker 2: That's the goal.
- 41:39Speaker 3: I'll forever be testing it, but that's the concept. So
- 41:44Speaker 3: I have a question for you about the industry. So
- 41:46Speaker 3: what kind of conversations do you wish happened more often
- 41:49Speaker 3: in the spiritual community?
- 41:51Speaker 2: What do you think that we're not talking about that
- 41:52Speaker 2: we should be?
- 41:55Speaker 1: It'd be a gross generalization to think I know what
- 41:57Speaker 1: people are talking about now at all. Just because I
- 42:01Speaker 1: can be a bit spicy about having a judgment about
- 42:06Speaker 1: how other people teach or encourage people to do this
- 42:10Speaker 1: kind of work for themselves. So to mind my own
- 42:13Speaker 1: business and keep my mouth shut, I just stay away
- 42:16Speaker 1: from that stuff. I've had my own experiences with other
- 42:18Speaker 1: people that are psychics and that have been intensely not great.
- 42:24Speaker 1: and have created dependence. If I have a personal relationship
- 42:27Speaker 1: with somebody based on they feel like a right fit
- 42:30Speaker 1: for me, that's awesome. But I tend not to listen
- 42:33Speaker 1: to a lot of other people offering readings and they're
- 42:36Speaker 1: sharing clips of those readings online. I've grown to appreciate
- 42:40Speaker 1: that more and more over time. I love that part.
- 42:43Speaker 1: But normally, if I hear somebody say, hey, I have
- 42:46Speaker 1: a system, the thing that separates you, and I saw
- 42:49Speaker 1: this on your website and why I felt safe talking
- 42:51Speaker 1: to you, that's is because you don't create dependence. My
- 42:56Speaker 1: sense is there are other people who, and the next class,
- 42:59Speaker 1: and now the next, I've been involved with organizations that
- 43:02Speaker 1: put on personal development courses and there was always a
- 43:05Speaker 1: next course. And for somebody to always felt broken or
- 43:08Speaker 1: less than, or there's something wrong with me, I was
- 43:11Speaker 1: compelled to always do something like that because I was
- 43:14Speaker 1: not okay as I was. I needed fixing, damn it.
- 43:18Speaker 1: And somebody had to have the fucking answer for me.
- 43:20Speaker 1: And that's another way that I feel like I've been
- 43:22Speaker 1: healed by my being on this spiritual journey and being
- 43:26Speaker 1: connected with my grandparents and my guides and the things
- 43:29Speaker 1: I've been able to do is I have a sense
- 43:30Speaker 1: of being a whole complete human being. I'm not a
- 43:34Speaker 1: fucked up mess or all the things I have thought
- 43:37Speaker 1: at times. I already forgot your questions.
- 43:41Speaker 2: No, you answered it.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I was asking about the spiritual journey. The spiritual community,
- 43:44Speaker 3: and now I'm thinking your metaphor about the flower and
- 43:49Speaker 3: seeing the beauty in the people and their skill sets
- 43:53Speaker 3: and their strengths and looking at it from that perspective
- 43:57Speaker 3: is the polar opposite of what you just described, playing
- 44:00Speaker 3: on insecurities to continue to make a buck. I love
- 44:03Speaker 3: money as much as the next person. I always tell people,
- 44:06Speaker 3: even if you hate money, make more of it. You
- 44:08Speaker 3: can do good things in the world with it. Give
- 44:09Speaker 3: it away if you must, but.
- 44:11Speaker 2: There's a core.
- 44:13Speaker 3: value that says, am I actually trying to help people
- 44:17Speaker 3: or am I just kind of doing something to make money?
- 44:20Speaker 3: And your flower thing, I really love that metaphor. I
- 44:23Speaker 3: might have to create a version of it for myself.
- 44:25Speaker 1: No, use the flower.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Women are flowers, right? It's perfect.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:30Speaker 3: But that's the, I see you and you matter. And
- 44:34Speaker 3: it's encouraging that person to come into their best version
- 44:38Speaker 3: of themselves, which is anti all of the other things
- 44:42Speaker 3: that we just talked about. They're always selling one more thing.
- 44:47Speaker 3: There's another coaching program and another. I actually have had
- 44:51Speaker 3: to ask myself as a marketer, are you giving away
- 44:54Speaker 3: too much? Because people are empowered and then they go
- 44:57Speaker 3: do their own thing. They come back and one of
- 45:00Speaker 3: my clients recently asked, does my guide have a name?
- 45:02Speaker 3: I said, yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 2: They said, what's their name?
- 45:04Speaker 3: I said, that's something you'll discover at some point down
- 45:06Speaker 3: the road. A few weeks later, she calls back and says,
- 45:09Speaker 3: I got my guide's name. And I was like, is
- 45:12Speaker 3: that a good thing or a bad thing? That's one
- 45:13Speaker 3: of the things I get you in the coaching program.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I didn't do the full boat coaching program.
- 45:18Speaker 3: That's okay. Because what I wanted was for her to
- 45:20Speaker 3: have that experience.
- 45:21Speaker 1: That's genuinely empowering people. You could have told her, I'm
- 45:25Speaker 1: taking a trans-channeling class.
- 45:28Speaker 3: What's trans-channeling?
- 45:29Speaker 1: Imagine mediumship, but you go deeper into kind of a
- 45:33Speaker 1: state and then instead of you being the transmitter of
- 45:36Speaker 1: what people say, they actually speak through you. And we're
- 45:39Speaker 1: meeting our team, a couple of guides on our team,
- 45:43Speaker 1: and I'm having a debate with a woman that I'm
- 45:45Speaker 1: paired up with about the spelling of the name of
- 45:47Speaker 1: my guide. And there's a part of me as I
- 45:49Speaker 1: journaled that night, like, what the fuck? This is the
- 45:52Speaker 1: world I live in now. Two mediums are debating about
- 45:55Speaker 1: where these two letters, is it the S first or
- 45:57Speaker 1: the A first? Anyway, but I had this moment of
- 46:00Speaker 1: realization that, And I actually said to her, I think
- 46:03Speaker 1: you're asking me to choose yours over mine. That was
- 46:05Speaker 1: the feeling that I had. I've had to learn to
- 46:07Speaker 1: feel empowered in this way. I feel confident about what
- 46:11Speaker 1: I get. And I kept getting a yes in my way.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I was like, thanks, but I'm supposed to follow mine.
- 46:17Speaker 1: And that's the thing is you could have told her
- 46:19Speaker 1: what you got and then she would stop asking. I
- 46:22Speaker 1: love that you didn't tell her and you were like,
- 46:26Speaker 1: you'll figure it out. And she did. And you didn't
- 46:28Speaker 1: take away her curiosity. I love that you did that.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I want to remember that now that you've shown me that.
- 46:34Speaker 1: We don't want to shortchange their journey because how joyful
- 46:37Speaker 1: is it when she gets that name?
- 46:38Speaker 2: And that's a victory. It's a victory. You've got to
- 46:41Speaker 2: experience that for yourself.
- 46:42Speaker 3: It's not the same when you're playing cards with your
- 46:45Speaker 3: parents as a little kid and you realize they let
- 46:48Speaker 3: you win.
- 46:49Speaker 2: That sucks. For me, it did.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Don't let me win.
- 46:52Speaker 2: I don't care how old I am.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I played with Papa, my paternal grandfather, and that man
- 46:58Speaker 1: never let me win. Never.
- 47:01Speaker 2: But it kept you coming back, didn't it?
- 47:04Speaker 1: I would never have stopped playing with him, regardless of
- 47:06Speaker 1: the outcome. And then I became a kid who loved
- 47:08Speaker 1: to win and gloated about it, of course, because I
- 47:11Speaker 1: never won when I played Papa. But it all shapes
- 47:13Speaker 1: us to relate to things differently. In this area, I
- 47:17Speaker 1: think letting people have their own journey. And I love
- 47:20Speaker 1: that you do it the way that you do it.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I really respect that, Cindy. I really mean that. To
- 47:25Speaker 1: not try to take away somebody else's process. You're giving
- 47:28Speaker 1: them a system, but then you're not shoving them out
- 47:31Speaker 1: the door too. I know you offer additional support, which
- 47:34Speaker 1: is great because people really want that. And I've taken
- 47:36Speaker 1: class after class, not because I have a deficit anymore,
- 47:39Speaker 1: but because I'm enjoying the process. And I'm so grateful
- 47:43Speaker 1: it's available in a way that feels empowering. It doesn't
- 47:46Speaker 1: feel like how it used to feel. Whereas I'm not
- 47:49Speaker 1: good enough yet. So let me keep trying. And I
- 47:51Speaker 1: need your help desperately. So I'll pay whatever. That was
- 47:55Speaker 1: a driver for a long time. But it doesn't feel
- 47:57Speaker 1: good to be that person either. I don't want to
- 47:59Speaker 1: extort people out of their own insecurity. No way.
- 48:03Speaker 3: It's more if you have... again, the weird thing, and
- 48:07Speaker 3: nobody talks about this stuff. So just having someone that's
- 48:10Speaker 3: walked the path. And again, the Sherpa thing, point out
- 48:13Speaker 3: a crevasse here and there that you might not want
- 48:15Speaker 3: to step into, or at least you might be aware
- 48:17Speaker 3: that it's there. Check your equipment before you walk that direction.
- 48:21Speaker 1: And maybe you want to step in it. Maybe there's
- 48:23Speaker 1: some value for you in that. And that's great. I
- 48:26Speaker 1: did my part by saying, hey, just watch your knees
- 48:29Speaker 1: because you don't want to scrape them too hard. Is
- 48:31Speaker 1: there anything else you want to share about your system
- 48:34Speaker 1: or how you Sherpa people and tell us about your website,
- 48:40Speaker 1: more information about how people can get in touch with you.
- 48:42Speaker 1: A lot of questions.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Sorry. That's okay.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Soulpiphany.com. S-O-U-L-P-I-P-H-A-N-Y. Like epiphany with the soul on there. Seer
- 48:54Speaker 3: at Soulpiphany is the easiest way to get me. More
- 48:55Speaker 3: about the process. It's a lab environment. Back to my
- 48:59Speaker 3: mad spiritual scientist. I opened the door to my lab.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I invite you in. Come on, we're going to play.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Don't show up if you're thinking that I'm going to
- 49:07Speaker 3: force feed you something.
- 49:08Speaker 2: This is not a lecture.
- 49:09Speaker 3: This is a hands-on activity. You're going to get your
- 49:12Speaker 3: hands dirty. We're going to pour some beakers. We're going
- 49:15Speaker 3: to break some stuff. We're going to try some things.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Something unexpected and fun is going to happen.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Come with an open mind.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Be as skeptical as you want, but show up and
- 49:25Speaker 3: be willing to spend the five days doing the process.
- 49:28Speaker 3: And I promise you'll have a good time. Something unexpected
- 49:31Speaker 3: will happen. So that's the process. And I try to
- 49:34Speaker 3: make it as fun as possible.
- 49:36Speaker 2: I'm a big believer in fun. So This is not
- 49:39Speaker 2: all that serious.
- 49:40Speaker 3: We're going to try it. We're just going to test
- 49:41Speaker 3: it and see how it goes. Be a small child
- 49:44Speaker 3: and be curious. Explore that inner little girl and let her.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Out and play. We dance, we sing, whatever you want
- 49:50Speaker 2: to do. We're going to do it all.
- 49:52Speaker 3: I'm not doing any dancing or singing. But if you
- 49:55Speaker 3: want to, that's awesome. It's very positive. And a community
- 49:59Speaker 3: is what always ends up happening. Women end up connecting
- 50:02Speaker 3: with each other. And there's something empowering about seeing other
- 50:06Speaker 3: people go through the same experience that you are. And
- 50:10Speaker 3: it gives you a different perspective when you get to
- 50:13Speaker 3: see other people doing it with you. Otherwise, when you're
- 50:15Speaker 3: doing it by yourself, you tend to be a little
- 50:18Speaker 3: bit less confident that what you're experiencing makes sense. But
- 50:22Speaker 3: when you're seeing other people experiencing it, that really boosts
- 50:25Speaker 3: the confidence. I call it the contact lab.
- 50:27Speaker 2: And that's what it is.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Put on your lab coat and let's get some chemicals
- 50:31Speaker 3: all over you. And we put on the goggles and
- 50:33Speaker 3: gloves because I don't know that something's.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Going to get broken.
- 50:38Speaker 3: So in the best possible way, I don't mean the
- 50:40Speaker 3: full way. Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 1: And even when you started describing it, like being a
- 50:43Speaker 1: little kid, I just am reminded of that sense of
- 50:46Speaker 1: wonder that we have as children. We're not exactly sure
- 50:49Speaker 1: how things are going to turn out, but that we're
- 50:52Speaker 1: just excited to be in the process. And the breaking
- 50:55Speaker 1: beakers is a great metaphor for shit's going to change.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You're not even going to be expecting it, but there
- 51:01Speaker 1: it is. I love that. And you're also talking about
- 51:03Speaker 1: that sense of freedom. You hear somebody else go through
- 51:06Speaker 1: something big and you're like, oh crap, it's my turn now.
- 51:09Speaker 1: But then you get to dance and sing or whatever
- 51:12Speaker 1: that part is for you, but you don't hold back
- 51:15Speaker 1: like the caterpillar that has to work so hard to
- 51:17Speaker 1: break out of their cocoon. But then they're flying around
- 51:21Speaker 1: and they're gorgeous. And you're like, I want that too.
- 51:23Speaker 1: And you're like, okay, you're next. How freaking cool is that?
- 51:28Speaker 3: Yeah. You said something interesting about the child thing is
- 51:30Speaker 3: I always joke that when children are learning to walk,
- 51:37Speaker 3: How many times do they fall down before they stop
- 51:41Speaker 3: getting back up? As adults, what do we mostly say?
- 51:46Speaker 3: We give ourselves a three strikes and you're out rule. Oh,
- 51:49Speaker 3: I tried to do that once and I sucked at it.
- 51:51Speaker 3: You don't show up to the major leagues and hit
- 51:53Speaker 3: a home run on your first at bat. But as adults,
- 51:56Speaker 3: we're like, oh, yeah, I'm not good at that.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Oh, I tried that once. I'm not good at it.
- 52:00Speaker 3: And it's like, how many people do you see crawling
- 52:02Speaker 3: around the world?
- 52:04Speaker 2: Very few.
- 52:05Speaker 3: So there was a point when we didn't have that worldview.
- 52:09Speaker 3: We just went, I need to get over there faster.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I'm going to learn how to walk.
- 52:12Speaker 2: And you do it, right?
- 52:14Speaker 3: It's interesting the boundaries that we put on ourselves as adults.
- 52:17Speaker 3: We're so willing to say, I'm not good enough. I
- 52:20Speaker 3: don't have a skill for that.
- 52:21Speaker 2: It can apply to anything. The child thing is good.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Why can't we have fun even when we're doing serious things?
- 52:28Speaker 3: That's the concept is explore the little girl inside and
- 52:32Speaker 3: we'll play.
- 52:32Speaker 2: We're just going to go play in the lab.
- 52:35Speaker 1: How big are your classes?
- 52:38Speaker 3: I typically keep them as small as I can. Probably,
- 52:40Speaker 3: I would maybe do as many as 12, but I
- 52:42Speaker 3: tend to keep them under 10. 5, 6, 7, 8
- 52:45Speaker 3: is a pretty good number. If I get too many,
- 52:47Speaker 3: then people will start to tune out when other people
- 52:49Speaker 3: are sharing their experiences. And I do them, at least
- 52:52Speaker 3: up until now, I've been doing them virtually, Zoom calls.
- 52:55Speaker 3: I keep them intentionally short, the sessions, so that we
- 52:57Speaker 3: just take little bite-sized chunks.
- 53:00Speaker 2: And work our way through the process.
- 53:01Speaker 1: You're not trying to corporatize something that's spiritual. You're just
- 53:05Speaker 1: trying to make it direct and reproducible. This has been wonderful.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I genuinely enjoyed connecting with you. So thank you for that.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. This was a lot of fun.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I love what you're doing. You're doing it very differently
- 53:16Speaker 1: than how I do it. It's very cool and I
- 53:18Speaker 1: respect it.
- 53:19Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Thank you for your time, Noelle. I appreciate it.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you too.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Yes, this was, you made my day.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Aw, you're sweet. Mine too.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being with us today. If
- 53:31Speaker 1: you'd like support as you continue your own exploring, you
- 53:34Speaker 1: can find information about my classes, readings, and other offerings
- 53:37Speaker 1: at connectingwithnoelle.com. If today's conversation made you think of someone,
- 53:43Speaker 1: I'd love it if you would share this with them.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Take good care and I look forward to being with
- 53:47Speaker 1: you again soon.
