- 0:09Speaker 1: You call Boer, you make that happen. Yeah, you want
- 0:13Speaker 1: to do it right, don't you? Booer remodeling dot Com.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm Tony Katz ninety three WIBC, Good morning, the popcorn moment.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go. It's the
- 0:24Speaker 2: story you need to hear to believe.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Then grab your popcorn because there is more.
- 0:28Speaker 2: So this is what everybody's.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Talking about in your social media feeds, and this is
- 0:34Speaker 1: what has people so divided. It's the Vice President, Jade
- 0:37Speaker 1: Vance on the Joe Rogan podcast, and he said a
- 0:43Speaker 1: whole bunch on on this podcast. If if you ask me,
- 0:55Speaker 1: there is continually with the Vice president a tremendous amount
- 0:59Speaker 1: of naivete, like the idea that somehow you can negotiate
- 1:05Speaker 1: with the Iranian regime, like you're gonna negotiate a deal.
- 1:11Speaker 1: His argument is, what are you gonna do fight your way.
- 1:13Speaker 2: To a deal?
- 1:14Speaker 1: Well, let's go through the data and realize that the
- 1:18Speaker 1: answer is we're not gonna fight our way. We're gonna
- 1:20Speaker 1: win our way to them losing. That's the deal. You
- 1:25Speaker 1: started this thing. You really think you can negotiate, because
- 1:28Speaker 1: you can't. And I do not care that he's vice president.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I don't care what kind of data he's god or
- 1:36Speaker 1: things I have never seen. I have got history. We
- 1:41Speaker 1: can base it on that. It's clear, there's pure clarity.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You will not negotiate with them. And he had the
- 1:49Speaker 1: same exact philosophy regarding Russia and Ukraine.
- 1:54Speaker 2: He has been wrong twice.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Now, why well, he's got a philosophy, and his philosophy
- 2:02Speaker 1: is one that can clearly be seen as isolationist, not
- 2:07Speaker 1: completely like.
- 2:08Speaker 2: He still believes in trade.
- 2:10Speaker 1: But whatever's happening over there has no effect on us
- 2:13Speaker 1: until it has an effect on us. Even when, like
- 2:16Speaker 1: with the Iranian regime and dead Americans, it has an
- 2:19Speaker 1: effect on us, it doesn't have a real effect on us.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So why bother with it? The rest of the world
- 2:26Speaker 1: can fade away now. The rest of the world's problems
- 2:29Speaker 1: are not necessarily our problems. The rest of the world's
- 2:31Speaker 1: issues do not make us the police officer of the world.
- 2:34Speaker 1: We cannot save everybody, and I have no interest in trying.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I like having relationships with countries regarding trade and a security.
- 2:43Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that.
- 2:44Speaker 1: They get to dictate to us, and I would never
- 2:47Speaker 1: want it or allow it. Anybody thinks israel Is dictating
- 2:50Speaker 1: to us is out of their heads.
- 2:52Speaker 2: That's already been proven.
- 2:56Speaker 1: But it is in this where the Vice President really
- 3:01Speaker 1: shows some ugly.
- 3:03Speaker 2: And this is him commenting.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I had to edit it regarding the Israeli influencer campaign.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Now it's a bit of a longer segment, but I
- 3:14Speaker 1: want you to hear it in full.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Listen things.
- 3:18Speaker 3: But I definitely think you have seen this very discreete
- 3:22Speaker 3: extremely well funded campaign to try to derail the negotiation
- 3:27Speaker 3: and try to derail the deal.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Now before anything, I did this right producer Carl, but
- 3:33Speaker 1: a finger on the dumb button just in case the
- 3:36Speaker 1: well funded campaign to to derail the deal that the
- 3:41Speaker 1: Iranian regime has already derailed continue.
- 3:45Speaker 3: And you know there was again there's this time article
- 3:48Speaker 3: that came out yesterday for intend it. To me, it's
- 3:51Speaker 3: like worth reading because it lists a bunch of people
- 3:54Speaker 3: who have quite literally been paid by a former Trump
- 3:59Speaker 3: camp pain person who is himself paid by certain elements
- 4:04Speaker 3: within the Israeli government and those people are attacking me
- 4:07Speaker 3: viciously for quite literally trying to accomplish the negotiation objective
- 4:12Speaker 3: that the President's set for the country.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So what is their position, like they're attacking you how.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Oh, it's it's social media posts, it's you know, they're
- 4:20Speaker 3: leaking to reporters. They're attacking me obsessively saying that we
- 4:24Speaker 3: should not be negotiating with Iran, we should just keep
- 4:27Speaker 3: the military campaign going indefinitely, and that is their explicit position,
- 4:32Speaker 3: and coming after me saying that, you know, people have
- 4:35Speaker 3: come after me and say that I'm influenced by Qatar,
- 4:38Speaker 3: that I'm influenced by foreign governments, that you know, I
- 4:40Speaker 3: take my marching orders from Tucker Carlson and there's just
- 4:44Speaker 3: so much board out there, when what I'm actually trying
- 4:47Speaker 3: to do is accomplish what the President the United States
- 4:50Speaker 3: told me to accomplish, which is a settlement of this
- 4:53Speaker 3: that accomplishes our objectives. Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon,
- 4:57Speaker 3: we have the free flow of oil and gas.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Ran still searching for a nuclear weapon, still pushing for
- 5:02Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon, and we don't yet have the full
- 5:05Speaker 1: free flow of oil and gas.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I think the Vice.
- 5:10Speaker 1: President is correct that when you claim that people are
- 5:12Speaker 1: influenced by this and influenced by that, it's pretty ugly stuff.
- 5:16Speaker 1: He doesn't want to be told he's influenced by Qatar,
- 5:18Speaker 1: although we can talk about their influence in America at large,
- 5:21Speaker 1: And he doesn't want to be told he's influenced by
- 5:23Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson. But yet these same people who are like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: that's right, JD. Vans have no compunction with telling me
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm influenced by Israel or by Apak or whatever else,
- 5:33Speaker 1: even though a check has never changed hands. So screaming
- 5:38Speaker 1: influence isn't really going to help us. The question is
- 5:43Speaker 1: what actually is America? First, because it would seem to
- 5:47Speaker 1: me that the Vice President and a lot of his
- 5:50Speaker 1: supporters don't.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Actually have it together.
- 5:54Speaker 1: They have got a bad idea of what it is,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and we need to have a better idea of what
- 5:58Speaker 1: it is.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But if the.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Goal is free flowing oil and gas through the Strait,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we don't have it and there is no negotiation that
- 6:11Speaker 1: gets us there. Why does the Vice president think that
- 6:14Speaker 1: it can happen? Why can't he see the reality in
- 6:18Speaker 1: front of him. That's the conversation we need to have,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and I'm going to have that in detail on Tony
- 6:23Speaker 1: Kats today at noon.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I hope you'll join me then
