Transcript
- 0:11Five minutes after the hour of the Morning Show with Preston Scott Morning, third
- 0:15hour of the program, five minutes past eight am in the Eastern time zone,
- 0:20seven in the Central wherever you may be. Thanks so very much for
- 0:24joining us. We appreciated Jared running the program in Studio one AM. Here
- 0:27in Studio one B, and we are joined by our good friend Jerome Hudson,
- 0:34entertainment editor of Breitbart dot Com. He's also author of the Fifty Things
- 0:38books. Hello, sir, how are you? Oh, I'm terrific.
- 0:42I'm terrific. I just blew through the Osbourne Family podcast. At two seconds,
- 0:49I sped up the playback time the British accent. That fast is very
- 0:56entertaining, very entertaining. Okay, let's stay on the subject to entertainment.
- 1:00Okay. Is the Trump Biden debate entertainment? Oh, it's very interesting.
- 1:10That's the only reason I was listening to the Osborne podcast. Sharon Osbourne believes
- 1:14that it will be quote horribly embarrassing and horribly cruel. She believes it's elder
- 1:22abuse. I think because Joe Biden is clearly showing signs of finality and mental
- 1:30decline. But to answer your question. Yes, I gotta tell you.
- 1:37I hosted our series XM program on Monday morning, Preston, and after listening
- 1:42to the best focused group, I think like educated voters, and you know
- 1:49they have to be educated because they're listening to shows like yours at six am
- 1:53Eastern. I'm more jacked up about this debate than I was Sunday because you
- 2:01kind of don't know what you're going to get. I mean, you can
- 2:05make some assumptions, but will Joe Biden be sharp? How sharp will he
- 2:08be? Will there be moments that will reverberate on social media in the days
- 2:15after because Joe Biden froze up? There'll be entertaining and I'm not sure how
- 2:23informative it will be because CNN's biased Jake Tappers more biased than the network he
- 2:30works at. There will be tons of questions that won't be asked, which
- 2:37is another advantage Biden. But entertaining, yes, I think. What do
- 2:42you make of the formatic setup meaning no studio audience allegedly, no notes,
- 2:52no ear pieces. I guess just a notepad, pen and paper in essence,
- 2:58and a little bottle of water. No aide talking in the commercial breaks.
- 3:02What do you make of all that, and this will probably be just
- 3:07the one debate, right, Like, I'm not sure how for how many
- 3:09presidential cycles, three debates was the standard, but it was for a long
- 3:15time, and I'm not quite sure if the no audience thing was ever,
- 3:21at least in the TV era. You're a few years older than me,
- 3:24and you've certainly been in the business longers, so you could probably correct me
- 3:29on that. But it's very weird to not have an audience like notes.
- 3:32I mean, like I can just recall the last four or five presidential cycles
- 3:39seeing the candidates writing down things on paper. I think most of these rules
- 3:46are what Joe Biden didn't want an audience. Sure don't know why, but
- 3:53his camp believes that it'll be to his advantage to not have one, to
- 3:59his advantage to not have notes. That one's that one's weird. But again,
- 4:05like the call is so many. I did say Preston that I wanted
- 4:11to know, like every scenario people thought, you know, if you think
- 4:15that Joe Biden will be on some sort of B twelve induced cocktail, if
- 4:20you think there will be an ear piece in his ear or someone coaching a
- 4:25minute by minute, and I guess a very interesting idea is people actually think
- 4:31Joe Biden's gonna have the answers, or at least the questions. And then
- 4:38I was I was like, well look if he if CNN provides Joe Biden
- 4:42with the questions, why does he need a week to prep I don't know
- 5:00so much. And with us from Breitbart dot com, So what's your prediction?
- 5:04What? What you know? Is Trump going to find a way to
- 5:08keep it between the rails because allegedly Jerome, they're not going to have the
- 5:14other guys mic on when a question is being addressed by the one versus the
- 5:17other, and they won't allow them to talk over each other, at least
- 5:21from a mic perspective. But what are your expectations on decorum and how this
- 5:28is going to unfold? It's interesting Trump on the rails. I mean Trump
- 5:34was cutting Joe Biden off at the debate four or five years ago, and
- 5:40Joe Biden looked over and said, can you just shut up? Man.
- 5:45I've heard the interesting theory that the mic muting would be to Trump's advantage because
- 5:57Joe Biden wouldn't be able to cut Trump off because Donald Trump has this amazing
- 6:02ability to create viral moments like the aforementioned one, like he was egging Joe
- 6:09Biden on knows Joe Biden has a quick temper, and Joe Biden like I
- 6:13don't I don't know if any presidential kendidates looked over to another in total of
- 6:16the shut up on Live Ate broadcast. I mean, you know, like
- 6:23like the I guess the mainstream thinking is that Trump is the one who needs
- 6:29the bowler lane bumpers so he can you know, stay guarded and not look
- 6:36like a lunatic. But it's just it's Joe Biden, and it's like if
- 6:42you look if it's a prize fight or you know, a finals match.
- 6:46I think Donald Trump is like is going in with house money. I think
- 6:51all of the pressure usually between these two is on Joe Biden because he does
- 6:58have a duty to perform. I'm I don't know how low the expectations are,
- 7:02but I mean the client is is obvious no matter how much the media
- 7:08tries to gaslight us into believing that our eyes are lying to us, and
- 7:14I think Trump knows it. I don't know if you saw his Jake Paul
- 7:16interview a few days ago, but that it was to me one more example
- 7:21of Okay, this is probably the best form that Trump has been in from
- 7:28a media interview. Lights are bright, perspective. I think, I think,
- 7:34I don't know. Fireworks. I hope, I hope. I hope
- 7:38it's not boring. I hope it's that boring. Do you it's not at
- 7:41nine pm? Do you? Yeah? Well, I won't be watching,
- 7:45so I'm going to be relying on people like you doing it for me.
- 7:48Tell me this. Do you feel as though it is a requirement for Trump
- 7:57to win by just sort of a landslide, to overcome what is obviously going
- 8:03to be an effort to cheat? Why? Because what are the moderators compared
- 8:13Donald Trump to? No, I'm talking. I'm talking about the vote itself.
- 8:16I'm talking about the actual November election itself. Oh okay, okay,
- 8:20okay, Well we won't find out the result either way until two weeks after
- 8:28November fifth. I don't know. When I look at polls and people have
- 8:35different opinions about polls, who's doing the research, the network, if it's
- 8:41a media outlet, if it's just a boutique shop. Some most posters are
- 8:46just off when it comes to the actual tally at the end of the day
- 8:50when the vote's done. But the trends suggest that Joe Biden is going to
- 8:58pull a Hillary Clinton with which is to say he could very well lose Pennsylvania,
- 9:03Michigan, and like like Trump's winning for the last six weeks in Wisconsin.
- 9:07I mean, I know a lot changes in polls are just one a
- 9:11part of the puzzle, but I feel like like Trump, like he's like
- 9:18like Florida's out of the question, Ohio's out of the question. He Trump
- 9:22is up five points in Georgia. They're governor's Brian Kemp is super popular.
- 9:28I mean, it's just like Trump has the wind at his back. And
- 9:33how is it? How good reason agreed? But how are the margins even
- 9:39as tight as they are? Yeah, well they always are. And yeah,
- 9:46Donald Trump beat Hillary in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, but he
- 9:50won all those states by less than one hundred thousand votes. I mean,
- 9:56it's I don't know, they're gonna cheat. Jerome, They're gonna cheat,
- 10:03of course. I mean, like the dead people are still gonna vote in
- 10:07Illinois and Michigan. Illegals are gonna be voting, and we're not gonna be
- 10:11able to do anything about it till it's too late. Wow, you really
- 10:18dragged this conversation down. Yeah, that's what I do here. Yeah,
- 10:24I mean, I just I but I do think that you know, Joe
- 10:28Biden's gonna have to overcome a lot himself. I mean, the Hispanic vote
- 10:31is basically split for the first time ever. Maybe Okay, I'm gonna throw
- 10:37a scenario at you when we come back, and then I'm gonna have you
- 10:39react to that, and then I want to get your thoughts to Julian asanj
- 10:43being released. Good deal, all right? Standing by Jerome Hudson, friend
- 10:50of the Morning Show at Preston Scott. Jerom Hudson with me, I have
- 10:56great regard for his analytical acumen when it comes to the things we're discussing here
- 11:01this morning. Don't you laugh at yourself? Such a nerd? Not really,
- 11:07but you're our But if you're a nerd, you're our nerd, and
- 11:11so that's fine, all right. The odds that Joe Biden will in fact
- 11:16end up being the nominee of Democrats when the election is held one hundred and
- 11:24one percent. You don't think he gets pushed out. You don't think there's
- 11:28a medical discharge of him. You don't think the Hunter Biden thing just blows
- 11:33up and they roll him under the bus with it. You don't think so.
- 11:37I think there's a greater likelihood that Joe Biden doesn't live until August.
- 11:46Then there is that that his party won't nominate him their nominee for president.
- 11:52I'm not suggesting he won't get the nomination. I'm suggesting that he will not
- 11:56be the nominee for medical reasons, come election, early voting, et cetera.
- 12:03I just I don't know how to say it, but people, please
- 12:09listen to me. Joe Biden will be the Democratic Party's presidential nominee. Okay,
- 12:15period period? What other medical uh? What other medical sign would the
- 12:24people with power to make that decision need to see that they haven't already seen,
- 12:28like what we see on videos, the full unedited video. Just imagine
- 12:35what he is behind closed doors? Oh I know, yeah, absolutely all
- 12:39right. So now question number two is Kamala Harris's running mate? Oh?
- 12:46Yeah, yes, yes, because West floated around. Now, is that
- 12:50Hillary's going to come in to be the running mate? There has never been
- 12:54and I mean never, and I watch as much Kamala Harris as I possibly
- 12:58can because number, because she's just a fascinating political creature. She got less
- 13:03than one percent of the California primary vote. Excuse me, that's wrong.
- 13:09Kamala Harris was out of the presidential race in twenty twenty before excuse me,
- 13:15in December of twenty nineteen, before a primary vote was cast. Like this
- 13:20woman has never actually shown any evidence that she is ready for the second most
- 13:24important job on the planet, and her party still made her vice president.
- 13:30Like these people don't care about anything that's important when it comes to having proof
- 13:37or evidence that you can be the commander in chief of the USRM forces in
- 13:41president of the United States. Joe Biden is there because it's been his lifelong
- 13:45dream for a half century in politics, right, Kamala is there because despite
- 13:50what MSNBC and Don Lemon says, she's black, she's black enough, and
- 13:52she's got a vagina period. That's it, okay. Julianasange, Yeah,
- 14:03in Australia, I've changed my opinion about that whole saga in that I feel
- 14:09as though the big takeaway here is that freedom of the press is being eroded
- 14:16and Joe Biden kind of gets a tacit win by not continuing to pursue a
- 14:24man who did great damage to the Democratic Party. Julian Dessange has been described
- 14:28as a journalist. I'm not necessarily sure that's true. If you ask me,
- 14:33I disagree. He he got access to a treasure trove of information,
- 14:41catalog them in links and then dumped them on the Internet. A lot of
- 14:46that information did great damage to the Democratic Party. It exposed emails of conversations,
- 14:54of the back room deals being played in terms of funding and candidate selection.
- 15:01It exposed like unknown Democratic Party apparatus, power players like John Podesta as
- 15:09being financially tied to the Reskies, while Hillary Clinton was trying to paint Donald
- 15:13Trump as a secret Russian agent. I mean, it was one embarrassed,
- 15:18embarrassing bombshell after another. And so Julian Assange became, in the eyes of
- 15:24the Democratic Party and to that extension, the eyes of the Democratic Party media,
- 15:28a boogeyman. And you know, when Glenn Greenwall was handed the information
- 15:33from Eric Snowden, Glenn Greenwall put context into the reporting. He was given
- 15:39information, as was Julian Assange, or however he obtained it. But Glenn
- 15:43Greenwall actually did journalism. He did more research, he advanced on the information
- 15:48that snowed In passed to him, and he provided context. But Julian Sossannge
- 15:52basically did. And the reason, I think, to your point why he
- 15:56was railroaded was like he was just he was just an Australian guy who got
- 16:00a bunch of information. It was all stuff that the people involved never thought
- 16:06would become public, but it did, and it was embarrassing. And I
- 16:10think the federal government was just trying to figure out a way to deal with
- 16:14him. And the federal government can't even tie its own shoelaces, so they
- 16:18were like, oh, let's prosecute, Let's get him back to America so
- 16:23we could adjudicate him and punish him. I don't know, it's a huge
- 16:30deal just because of the historic significance of what that information exposed. I think
- 16:37you think what I think. In large part, someone's calling me, yeah,
- 16:41no better. I think in large part, Wiki leaks helped put Donald
- 16:45Trump in the White House. Okay, we'll leave it there. Good to
- 16:49talk with you. I'm sure we'll catch you up between our today and our
- 16:52next visit. But thanks a lot is always I love you. I love
- 16:56you too, brother all right man Jerome Hudson twenty eight passed the hour morning
- 17:00show with Preston Scott
