- 0:13Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome to the naught even nice shows to rub Shoot.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's Monday morning, a bright Monday morning, and our bright,
- 0:20Speaker 1: lovely friend Garrett Vogel is joining us. Hey, Garrett, are
- 0:24Speaker 1: you there?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Bobby Shooter, Good morning friend.
- 0:28Speaker 1: How are you? You look as if you're in a
- 0:29Speaker 1: different location today. Where are you?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh, I'm working from the satellite Naughty but Nice office
- 0:37Speaker 2: is in Westfield, New Jersey.
- 0:39Speaker 1: A bureau in Jersey gets a lot of good scoop
- 0:41Speaker 1: that bureau does there.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I know. I'm on the streets looking for new housewives,
- 0:47Speaker 2: as we'll talk about in a little bit.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Oh, we well, we will. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 0:51Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? At is D time?
- 0:53Speaker 1: So everybody's still talking about meccan and Harry's big interview.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We told you they're going to do this CBS Sunday morning,
- 1:00Speaker 1: aired Sunday morning. We don't have the ratings yet, but
- 1:03Speaker 1: the early numbers look very positive. They don't look as
- 1:05Speaker 1: if they're Oprah numbers. I don't think millions and millions
- 1:08Speaker 1: and millions of people sat down to watch this. It
- 1:11Speaker 1: wasn't like a big two hour hour interview. They were
- 1:14Speaker 1: just part of the show. Although they did get a
- 1:16Speaker 1: good six minutes. And so during this interview, Meghan revealed
- 1:21Speaker 1: that she's quote only scratched the surface of all the
- 1:27Speaker 1: details that have gone on in her life. So she
- 1:30Speaker 1: admitted to Oprah that she had suicidal thoughts. Remember that
- 1:34Speaker 1: Jane Parley brought this up, and Megan seemed a little
- 1:38Speaker 1: bit surprised, and she said that she was a little
- 1:41Speaker 1: shocked that they brought it up, but she was happy
- 1:43Speaker 1: to talk about it. And she said that her journey
- 1:47Speaker 1: has only just begun and I haven't even scraped the
- 1:51Speaker 1: surface of my experience. She went on to say that
- 1:55Speaker 1: if she's talking about this and if she can help somebody,
- 1:58Speaker 1: then it's all worth it. But she's still processing this
- 2:02Speaker 1: really really dramatic time in her life where she was
- 2:05Speaker 1: so so sad that she thought about suicide.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Wow, it is interesting. I mean, it's one of those
- 2:15Speaker 2: things you can't question, you know what I mean. You
- 2:17Speaker 2: can't question illness and mental health, you know, because only
- 2:21Speaker 2: you know the truth, you know. So as consumers of
- 2:25Speaker 2: watching this interview, you have to sit here and you
- 2:28Speaker 2: really can't, you know, call her out on anything because
- 2:31Speaker 2: she's only speaking how she feels. So you can't tell
- 2:34Speaker 2: her how wrong she is because that's how she feels.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But the interesting thing, though, is, as you're talking about
- 2:41Speaker 2: how it was only six minutes versus the big Oprah interview,
- 2:43Speaker 2: do you think Oprah at the end of the day
- 2:45Speaker 2: or this morning? You know, because Oprah is a very
- 2:49Speaker 2: in touch with media, going, I got the little edge
- 2:52Speaker 2: on the interview.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think yeah, Oprah dose. Oprah got the interview,
- 2:59Speaker 1: second interview whose third interviews are never as good as
- 3:01Speaker 1: the first. So just like movies, Yeah, that's right. I
- 3:04Speaker 1: Oprah got that big sit down interview, which really was historic.
- 3:08Speaker 1: The Royals just didn't do interviews like that at all.
- 3:11Speaker 1: This is their first interview together since doing that. We
- 3:14Speaker 1: should point out that there really are doing something really
- 3:17Speaker 1: positive here there and launching this new initiative, this charity
- 3:20Speaker 1: to really empower parents. And part of the touching part
- 3:24Speaker 1: of this package for me was it wasn't just Harry
- 3:26Speaker 1: and Meghan, it was parents who've lost their children because
- 3:29Speaker 1: of online bullying. And that's how Jane Parley, the interviewer,
- 3:33Speaker 1: linked it to Meghan, saying, you know something about this yourself.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You know a little bit about what it's like to
- 3:39Speaker 1: be bullied online, and even if you're not a Megan fan,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you were in power what she Yes, you can admit,
- 3:45Speaker 1: what she went through was extraordinary, and I'm not sure
- 3:48Speaker 1: I would have had the strength to have survived that
- 3:53Speaker 1: amount of attention, good or bad. It's just suddenly she
- 3:56Speaker 1: became the most famous person in the world and she
- 3:59Speaker 1: couldn't get away from it. And we're not built for that, Garretts.
- 4:03Speaker 1: We're not taught how to be that famous.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I don't think anybody is, even even the people that
- 4:08Speaker 2: lived in the palace, you know, the kids. I mean,
- 4:12Speaker 2: you didn't even break it down to Princess Diana. Nobody
- 4:15Speaker 2: really can be even built into it, as much as
- 4:18Speaker 2: they want to put up the facade saying oh yeah, no,
- 4:21Speaker 2: no this is for me. No, it's not for anybody's not.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's really an awful place. I know some famous people,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and I wouldn't change my life with them for all
- 4:31Speaker 1: their money. They have a lot of money. That's what
- 4:32Speaker 1: I want. I want the money. I don't want the fame.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Meccan's not the opposite she got. She got the fame
- 4:37Speaker 1: and there wasn't that much money.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Let me tell you, I've seen one of the famous
- 4:42Speaker 2: people that you do know what they have gone through
- 4:46Speaker 2: just to walk out of building to get two blocks,
- 4:48Speaker 2: you know, only only to be jetted off to to
- 4:53Speaker 2: a street corner so they could get out and walk
- 4:55Speaker 2: back the opposite way, just to avoid the craziness that
- 4:59Speaker 2: their life brings with them.
- 5:01Speaker 1: It's not good. And that person's liked. Can you imagine
- 5:03Speaker 1: if you were disliked like Megan. Meghan has this army
- 5:07Speaker 1: of hate water I watched this interview brought me to tears.
- 5:11Speaker 1: To think that kids are in their bedrooms at night,
- 5:15Speaker 1: really going down this rabbit hole of destruction because of
- 5:18Speaker 1: their phones. Is something that I did not grow up with.
- 5:21Speaker 1: So this didn't happen till about what fifteen sixteen years ago.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So when I was a little boy, I had thoughts
- 5:26Speaker 1: in my head and I sat in my bedroom and
- 5:29Speaker 1: I had really sad nights. But I didn't have a
- 5:32Speaker 1: cell phone in my hand that was interacting with me,
- 5:35Speaker 1: that was really giving me a porthole into this world
- 5:38Speaker 1: of hate. And I just can't imagine that. Garrett, you
- 5:41Speaker 1: have young children. This interview with Meghan and Harry must
- 5:44Speaker 1: have really touched your buttons, because this is gonna happen.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Two things, because it was relatable, you know, And I
- 5:51Speaker 2: think you can only start to relate something when you
- 5:53Speaker 2: start to live through it, you know what I mean.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So you know, we can all live through the fact
- 5:59Speaker 2: that we grew up in an era where cell phones
- 6:01Speaker 2: weren't as accessible and social media wasn't a thing. So
- 6:05Speaker 2: there's that level of it. Then there's the level of
- 6:07Speaker 2: children versus no children, and seeing comparing and contrasting yourself
- 6:13Speaker 2: to a younger generation. But the other thing I realized too,
- 6:17Speaker 2: it kind of brought it brought Megan down to a
- 6:22Speaker 2: human level, you know what I mean. Like she's been
- 6:24Speaker 2: on this pedestal of you know, royal, this royal that
- 6:29Speaker 2: breaking up the family. It brought her down to you know,
- 6:33Speaker 2: our level, you know, just so I can relate to her.
- 6:36Speaker 2: She found something that was relatable to a lot of
- 6:38Speaker 2: people out there, and I think that's what she needs
- 6:41Speaker 2: to get what she's trying to accomplish in life out
- 6:44Speaker 2: of us all like realizing that hey, she's.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Just like us, really smart. Garrett, I think this is
- 6:51Speaker 1: a turning point. I went into this interview feeling very
- 6:55Speaker 1: differently than how I left the interview. It's here in
- 6:58Speaker 1: my eye. I did after I just sat there and
- 7:00Speaker 1: watched it, and I know I was sick of Meghan
- 7:03Speaker 1: and Harry, and I know I'm part of the of
- 7:07Speaker 1: the feeling that they do too much publicity and they
- 7:09Speaker 1: demand their privacy, but they're always on TV and you
- 7:12Speaker 1: know they want it both ways, and so I do
- 7:14Speaker 1: understand all those arguments. However, after watching this interview it's
- 7:18Speaker 1: online today, it's on YouTube. It really touched me and
- 7:22Speaker 1: thought it wasn't really about them, it was about the kids.
- 7:25Speaker 1: There are kids out there who were fourteen or fifteen
- 7:29Speaker 1: and some of them don't survive this. They had parents
- 7:31Speaker 1: on whose children had committed suicide after being bullied online.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's a real issue, and I think using their celebrity,
- 7:38Speaker 1: their power that Harry and Meghan have for good is
- 7:42Speaker 1: something that's going to change the way a lot of
- 7:45Speaker 1: people think about them, which brings us to our poll
- 7:47Speaker 1: question of the day. Meghan Markle has shared that she's
- 7:51Speaker 1: only just begun to scratch the surface of all the
- 7:54Speaker 1: trauma that she endured. The question is do you want
- 7:59Speaker 1: to hear them more? Should she reveal more? Meghan sending
- 8:02Speaker 1: the interview that if you talk about stuff it really helps.
- 8:06Speaker 1: So maybe Meghan, maybe Meghan should reveal more. What do
- 8:10Speaker 1: you think? Hey, go Vot's on our Twitter page? Add
- 8:12Speaker 1: Milton nized rob our facebook page is Nordy Gjo said,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey,
- 8:18Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, you know, I think it's time for a new
- 8:22Speaker 2: meme from Ben Affleck. You know we're all used to
- 8:24Speaker 2: the dunkin Donuts, smoking cigarettes, dropping coffee all over the place.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Well there's a new one because he debuted a new haircut,
- 8:32Speaker 2: you know, post trouble with Jennifer Lopez and the marital
- 8:36Speaker 2: rumors of them separating. He has a new faux haircut
- 8:41Speaker 2: like a like a like a mohawk type looking.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I don't know if it goes to anything, because it
- 8:45Speaker 2: was I was reading the story over the weekend that
- 8:48Speaker 2: he is going to play Hulk Hogan based off of
- 8:53Speaker 2: the the Gawker story where Hulk Hogan sex tape was revealed.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But I don't know if it has anything to do
- 8:59Speaker 2: with that, but he is looking a little you know,
- 9:01Speaker 2: bad boy or she's gotten you know, the leather jacket
- 9:04Speaker 2: on Red Hot Chili Pepper's T shirt. Some some aviator, sunglasses,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and a motorcycle. The only thing missing the wedding ring,
- 9:14Speaker 2: of course, of course, and of all that, you know,
- 9:16Speaker 2: he goes to the you know, the the longest of
- 9:19Speaker 2: miles just to like change his look, change, put a
- 9:22Speaker 2: motorcycle on, and everybody's looking for his hand. You know,
- 9:24Speaker 2: he should have wore gloves. He should have wore motorcycle gloves.
- 9:27Speaker 2: That would have put the end of everything. But you know,
- 9:29Speaker 2: it's kind of interesting. You know, there are we at
- 9:33Speaker 2: the end of a relationship. I think we all agree
- 9:36Speaker 2: they are. And you know, where do they go from now?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, my sources tell me they're not speaking anymore. Not
- 9:41Speaker 1: everything's going through their lawyer. So for a long time
- 9:44Speaker 1: they were emailing, texting, calling. They didn't see a lot
- 9:47Speaker 1: of one another, but they tried to when they were
- 9:49Speaker 1: in the same city. But now I'm told communication is zero.
- 9:53Speaker 1: This divorce is happening, And in fact, ironically, the fact
- 9:56Speaker 1: they're not talking has slowed down the divorce. It slowed
- 9:59Speaker 1: it down because they won't speak to one another. The
- 10:01Speaker 1: good news here is they had an iron clad prenup
- 10:05Speaker 1: and the only thing they purchased together during the marriage
- 10:08Speaker 1: was this sixty million dollar house that's on the market,
- 10:11Speaker 1: so they'll split that. They might lose some money, they
- 10:13Speaker 1: might make some money, they'll split whatever they make.
- 10:15Speaker 2: They'll split when they don't have kids together.
- 10:17Speaker 1: They don't have kids together, and so this is actually
- 10:20Speaker 1: going to be quite an easy divorce if they talk
- 10:22Speaker 1: to one another. And at the moment, I'm told they
- 10:24Speaker 1: will not speak to one another.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Which is so interesting though, because they signed that prenup
- 10:28Speaker 2: what less than two years ago. When you sign that, like,
- 10:33Speaker 2: obviously you do it just to protect yourself, but you
- 10:36Speaker 2: never think you would use it that quickly, you know
- 10:37Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It's so heartbreaking, it's so heartbreaken. Okay, moving along, The
- 10:42Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New Jersey, Yes, have been put on
- 10:45Speaker 1: hold until least next year, twenty twenty five. So we
- 10:48Speaker 1: broke the story first that Andy and the brother executives
- 10:51Speaker 1: were thinking about rebooting the entire show like they did
- 10:54Speaker 1: the New York one. Now, when you reboot a new show,
- 10:57Speaker 1: when you fire everybody, don't get as big a ratings
- 11:03Speaker 1: as what you used to do. However, you slash your
- 11:06Speaker 1: costs and TV at the moment, they would love big ratings,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. But TV is not motivated at
- 11:11Speaker 1: the moment by ratings. It's rated, it's motivated by money.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Everybody wants to slash the costs. So these ladies treesa Melissa,
- 11:20Speaker 1: they've been on the show now a long time. They're
- 11:22Speaker 1: earning good money. They're not earning quite as much as
- 11:24Speaker 1: what they make out they are, but they're earning several
- 11:27Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars a season. The New Ladies earn about
- 11:30Speaker 1: fifty sixty seventy thousand. And so if they fired all
- 11:34Speaker 1: these original ladies, all what five to sixty seven of them,
- 11:37Speaker 1: and brought in five sixty seven new people, their costs plummet.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And so that's what I'm told they're doing. People use
- 11:45Speaker 1: the New York example as a failure. You're wrong. It's
- 11:48Speaker 1: a huge hit. Not so many people watch New York.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But now it costs them almost nothing to produce.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean, the easy thing, the Monday Morning quarterbacking of
- 12:00Speaker 2: this situation would be bringing the Jersey Shore ladies. You know,
- 12:03Speaker 2: they're of the age. Now they're all out. Problem is
- 12:07Speaker 2: those Jersey Shore they were making a hell of a
- 12:10Speaker 2: lot of money, and I think they would be taking
- 12:12Speaker 2: a pay cut if they were to jump over to
- 12:14Speaker 2: Real Housewives, even though the storylines are already there, the
- 12:17Speaker 2: drama's already there, the audience has grown up with them,
- 12:20Speaker 2: and they would just transition beautifully into Real Housewives. And
- 12:25Speaker 2: I just don't think the money's there for that, though.
- 12:28Speaker 2: It would be the perfect situation.
- 12:29Speaker 1: For the Yeah yeah, I know a celebrity in New
- 12:32Speaker 1: York who's a real New York type celebrity, and they
- 12:37Speaker 1: were interested in doing the Real Housewives of New York
- 12:39Speaker 1: and they approached Bavo and brav said, we can't afford you.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We're just not paying those salaries anymore. She's not a superstar.
- 12:45Speaker 1: It's not Arianna Grande. She didn't want you know, it's
- 12:47Speaker 1: not Taylor Swift, but she wanted a decent amount of money,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and Bravo were like, no, we're just not paying that now.
- 12:53Speaker 1: So whenever somebody comes into audition, they look at the
- 12:57Speaker 1: bottom line here, So I think gone are the where
- 13:01Speaker 1: celebrities are going to be joining the show. The Lisa Renner's,
- 13:04Speaker 1: the Denise Richards they used to love like a Tooters.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I wouldn't do it for any amount of money, not
- 13:10Speaker 1: for a million. I just it's not for me. But
- 13:13Speaker 1: It is interesting that this show is evolving, and shows
- 13:17Speaker 1: have to evolve. What was acceptable on American Idol during
- 13:20Speaker 1: the first ten years was not acceptable now. Making fun
- 13:23Speaker 1: of people who clearly have mental health issues not funny now.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It was when Idle shamefully first debuted, And I think
- 13:30Speaker 1: the same with the Housewives. Now people rich people, any
- 13:33Speaker 1: people throwing and spit in and pulling hair. It's just
- 13:37Speaker 1: not fun to watch anymore. So Housewives is going through
- 13:40Speaker 1: a major, major, major change. Okay, quickly, before we get
- 13:45Speaker 1: a break, what's going on with Tory Spelling.
- 13:47Speaker 2: So I think we've all had that conversation before too,
- 13:50Speaker 2: where it's like, oh man, how do I make some
- 13:52Speaker 2: extra money? So Tory Spelling, you know, going through some
- 13:56Speaker 2: financial issues right now. I think she was saying this
- 13:59Speaker 2: joking around, but she says she's going to have to
- 14:02Speaker 2: consider joining only fans to put her five kids through college,
- 14:05Speaker 2: and which is interesting because her kids, literally all five
- 14:10Speaker 2: of them are of the college age almost She has
- 14:13Speaker 2: a seventeen year old, a sixteen year old, a twelve
- 14:15Speaker 2: year old, eleven year old, and a seven year old.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So by the time the seven year old out there,
- 14:19Speaker 2: she's only like, not even a quarterway through paying the
- 14:22Speaker 2: first two kids college. So I mean, I think again
- 14:26Speaker 2: relating to parents, you know what college costs now, and
- 14:31Speaker 2: you only envision what it could cost in years from now.
- 14:35Speaker 2: So for Tory Spelling, who, as we know, the last
- 14:37Speaker 2: name alone is worth you know, millions upond millions upon
- 14:41Speaker 2: millions of dollars though she can't afford it.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's not very scary. Just have to fix this system.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It's that rageous to have children and not be able
- 14:50Speaker 1: to afford to get to college drives me crazy. Only
- 14:53Speaker 1: fans triggers me because historically it has a reputation of
- 14:57Speaker 1: being an x rated site right where you can go
- 15:00Speaker 1: on and make money by showing naked photographs, and I
- 15:03Speaker 1: don't really like any of that. I try not to judge,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I really do try hard not to judge, but I do.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I do. But what I've learned from poking about a
- 15:12Speaker 1: little bit around the site is you can do other
- 15:15Speaker 1: stuff on there too. It doesn't have to be x
- 15:17Speaker 1: rated if fans are willing to pay you. I think
- 15:20Speaker 1: it's twelve dollars a month or something like that to
- 15:22Speaker 1: watch videos or to what you didn't have to be
- 15:26Speaker 1: x rated. So maybe Tory will do something quite flirtatious.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I think Denise Richards is on there, and I don't
- 15:31Speaker 1: think it's X rated. I think it's more flirty. Yeah.
- 15:34Speaker 2: No, I would love to see you make an egg
- 15:35Speaker 2: plant one day.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You, Garrett, It's very rare that I have nothing to say. Okay,
- 15:44Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quin recoop. Welcome back to the
- 15:51Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice Show. I'm from shoot with my idear friend,
- 15:54Speaker 1: Garrett Oogel. Hey, Garrett, let's get to the polls. Last show,
- 15:58Speaker 1: we talked about Harry and Meghan's interview on CBS This
- 16:01Speaker 1: Morning ED yesterday. Our question was will you watch, let's
- 16:05Speaker 1: have a look? Seventy percent said no. Now, if I
- 16:09Speaker 1: look here a little bit, I can break it down
- 16:11Speaker 1: by country. In the UK it's much higher so overall
- 16:16Speaker 1: figure overall, So in the UK, Megan and Harry are
- 16:19Speaker 1: not liked in America, though it used to be fifty
- 16:22Speaker 1: to fifty. Now it looks as if the pendulum has
- 16:24Speaker 1: swung a little bit, which is a sad thing because
- 16:26Speaker 1: this interview is quite important. Garrett, I understand it, I
- 16:29Speaker 1: said earlier. I get the backlash on Megan and Harry.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm not necessarily there myself, but I understand why people
- 16:35Speaker 1: find them annoying or they want it both ways. But
- 16:38Speaker 1: this interview is really really powerful and they could save lives.
- 16:41Speaker 1: So maybe give them a second chat.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I think if you ask people today that same vote,
- 16:46Speaker 2: if you put it out there, I think it could
- 16:47Speaker 2: have changed a lot.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I think so this interview helped. It really did help
- 16:50Speaker 1: both of them. Okay, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 16:53Speaker 1: We going to watch a page an Ordonnize rob Our
- 16:55Speaker 1: facebook page is already guild and be sure check back tomorrow.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Here your results. So now it's time for an nicest
- 17:04Speaker 1: of the day. Yep.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Well, the high school couple is finally getting engaged, allegedly
- 17:09Speaker 2: so Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift. The rumors are that the
- 17:13Speaker 2: buzz is so loud that literally everyone can hear it,
- 17:17Speaker 2: but everyone doesn't know except for Taylor or Travis. According
- 17:21Speaker 2: to insiders, that the engagement is happening soon, but everybody,
- 17:26Speaker 2: of course is denying it. Imagine if they just said yep,
- 17:29Speaker 2: they're getting engaged soon, they would just totally ruin the
- 17:31Speaker 2: buzz at all, you know, So it's only a matter
- 17:35Speaker 2: of time. I mean Travis is back in Kansas City,
- 17:38Speaker 2: getting ready for the football season, hanging out at concerts.
- 17:40Speaker 2: He was at Morgan Wallen on Friday night and he
- 17:43Speaker 2: got to do the big walk out with him. And
- 17:46Speaker 2: Taylor's still, you know, finishing up her tour, and you know,
- 17:51Speaker 2: I think they might even add like a date or
- 17:52Speaker 2: two at the end of it. It looks like that's
- 17:55Speaker 2: what she was going through with a ticketmaster on Friday,
- 17:58Speaker 2: they put a show on sale, then they took it away.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So those two, those two are still very, very busy.
- 18:03Speaker 2: But obviously, once once touring's over, football seasons underway and
- 18:09Speaker 2: you don't have to worry about much. I think we
- 18:11Speaker 2: could see an engagement. Sometimes think, hey, this is what
- 18:13Speaker 2: I'm going to call Christmas.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm going to say, oh, that's interesting. This is what
- 18:17Speaker 1: we call in my business. An educated guests, most reporters,
- 18:20Speaker 1: gossip columnists, columnists here, entertainment writers. They know at some
- 18:23Speaker 1: point they will get engaged. So if you say it now,
- 18:25Speaker 1: if you report it now, you probably will get it right.
- 18:27Speaker 1: At some point. It's how long how long do you
- 18:29Speaker 1: have to wait? I hit the phones and I spoke
- 18:31Speaker 1: to all my Taylor sources, and they told me Rob
- 18:33Speaker 1: she would get out of here. They said, we wouldn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: know that. They said, there's just no way she would
- 18:38Speaker 1: tell anybody but her immediate family that and her Sirtle's
- 18:41Speaker 1: very very closed. He's a little bit more loose slips.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So I have a few.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I know.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's amazing. I have sports sources. Now. I'm shocked. When
- 18:49Speaker 1: I look at my phone, I've got like NFL people.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I was like, who are you?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Are you an NFL inside right now?
- 18:54Speaker 1: Now what that means? I've never ever true you and
- 18:58Speaker 1: Michael these people lurry my phone. But I have to
- 19:02Speaker 1: they have no idea. They have no idea. Said if
- 19:04Speaker 1: they were guessing, yes, they're probably gonna get engaged. But
- 19:07Speaker 1: at the minute, there are no plans. Okay, let's do
- 19:09Speaker 1: it and notice the day naughteen naughty celebrities snubbed Meghan
- 19:13Speaker 1: Markles at an event in the hampton So, Megan was
- 19:16Speaker 1: at this high profile event in the Hamptons and my
- 19:18Speaker 1: friend Paula frolic over at News Nation. She's reporting that
- 19:22Speaker 1: several celebrities there did not want to take photographs with
- 19:25Speaker 1: Megan Markele, including Gweneth, including Greece, including Diane Sawyer. So
- 19:30Speaker 1: when big celebrities are in a room and they don't
- 19:32Speaker 1: have a snap together, it's normally because they don't want to.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Photographers go out of their ways to put you together.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So I've seen photographers literally grab one person and another
- 19:41Speaker 1: person and put them together for a quick photograph and
- 19:43Speaker 1: you come over here. There's always these photo ops. They're
- 19:46Speaker 1: called step and repeats and so like, there's lots of
- 19:49Speaker 1: opportunities to get these photographs. So the fact that they
- 19:52Speaker 1: didn't might mean somebody was snubbed. That's not nice. I
- 19:56Speaker 1: noticed the day. Let's end with a moment of Rob.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You're gonna Rob, you got a rub again, Rob. I
- 20:00Speaker 1: love this quote from Lucille Ball. Now, some of our
- 20:02Speaker 1: younger listeners might not know who Lucille. Wow. I love Lucy.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Watch her on late night TV. She's fantastic. Just want
- 20:10Speaker 1: a real pioneer. But she said the following, and it
- 20:13Speaker 1: really made me stop and think, love yourself first, and
- 20:17Speaker 1: everything falls into line. You really have to love yourself
- 20:21Speaker 1: to get anything done in this world. I didn't love
- 20:24Speaker 1: myself for a really long time growing up, and nothing
- 20:27Speaker 1: really changed in my life the day I started to
- 20:30Speaker 1: allow myself to love me. Life got better and, as
- 20:34Speaker 1: Lucy says, everything fell into line. Learn to love yourselves
- 20:39Speaker 1: just a little bit today, naughties. I'm not asking you
- 20:41Speaker 1: to give yourself a big French kiss. You don't have
- 20:44Speaker 1: to do that yet. But just a little peck on
- 20:46Speaker 1: your cheek today, just a little kindness to yourself. Hey,
- 20:49Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 20:53Speaker 1: listening to The Naughty but Nice with Robin Garrett Show,
