- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Now, I know this is going to come
- 0:07Speaker 1: as a surprise, but the DOJ has not exactly been
- 0:11Speaker 1: honest with us about the methods that they used when
- 0:13Speaker 1: it comes to redactions. And now according to a new
- 0:17Speaker 1: report that there was a flag list, which was a
- 0:21Speaker 1: list of topics that should be flagged as they're going
- 0:25Speaker 1: through the documents, so that those documents could be reviewed
- 0:28Speaker 1: further to make sure they weren't politically explosive or damaging
- 0:32Speaker 1: to the administration or the administration's friends. And of course,
- 0:36Speaker 1: who is directly in the middle of all of it.
- 0:38Speaker 1: You guessed it, Todd Baby Billy Blanche. In this episode,
- 0:42Speaker 1: we have an article from Raw Story and the headline
- 0:45Speaker 1: scrambling DOJ rushed to shut Epstein case as flaglist surface
- 0:50Speaker 1: big names. This article was authored by Jordan Green. Days
- 0:55Speaker 1: after an explosive meeting at the White House Situation Room
- 0:58Speaker 1: last July to address a crisis threatening to engulf the
- 1:01Speaker 1: Trump administration, FBI Director Cash Battel sought clarity on how
- 1:06Speaker 1: the scandal might implicate powerful men link to Jeffrey Epstein,
- 1:11Speaker 1: addressing Patel as boss and citing prior discussion between the two.
- 1:15Speaker 1: An FBI official from the Bureau Information Management Division responded
- 1:20Speaker 1: by sending the director an email with a collection of
- 1:23Speaker 1: spreadsheets named flagged item lists based on guidance calling on
- 1:28Speaker 1: FBI personnel tasked with redacting material from the Epstein files
- 1:32Speaker 1: to flag items of interest for discussion with DOJ attorneys.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The FBI official informed Pattel that the list included public figures,
- 1:41Speaker 1: potentially classified information potential see sam et cetera. So there's
- 1:47Speaker 1: a lot we don't have, Okay, And the people out
- 1:49Speaker 1: there that want to think that all these files have
- 1:51Speaker 1: been released, stop being dumb. I mean, honestly, Oh, they're duplicative.
- 1:57Speaker 1: They have nothing to do with what's going on. Cool,
- 2:00Speaker 1: let us see them. Let us decide that, because at
- 2:05Speaker 1: this point nobody trusts you, Todd Blanche. Nobody. The guidance
- 2:09Speaker 1: to flag these sensitive items from the Epstein files came
- 2:12Speaker 1: from the Department of Justice Assistant Director Shannon Perry in
- 2:16Speaker 1: form Patel. Heading the effort for the Department of Justice
- 2:20Speaker 1: was Todd Blanche, then the Deputy Attorney General and formerly
- 2:24Speaker 1: President Donald Trump's criminal defense lawyer. Blanche is now awaiting
- 2:28Speaker 1: confirmation as Attorney General from the US Senate. Like I've
- 2:33Speaker 1: told you from the jump, Todd baby Billy Blanche and
- 2:36Speaker 1: his disgusting fingerprints all over this shit, and he's going
- 2:40Speaker 1: to have to own it. This is his legacy. Keep
- 2:44Speaker 1: that in mind. This Epstein nonsense, that's going to be
- 2:47Speaker 1: Todd Blanche's legacy. That's what people are going to remember
- 2:50Speaker 1: him for, the man who whitewashed the Epstein scandal. Talk
- 2:56Speaker 1: about a shitty legacy. The email from Parry and other
- 3:03Speaker 1: documents about sensitive items flagged for review by the DOJ,
- 3:06Speaker 1: including references to public figures, was quietly released by the
- 3:10Speaker 1: FBI last week and are being reported here for the
- 3:13Speaker 1: first time. The material in the flagged items list had
- 3:17Speaker 1: already been turned over to the Department of Justice four
- 3:19Speaker 1: months earlier, Parry told Patel in a July twenty first,
- 3:23Speaker 1: twenty twenty five email. Remember this all started about a
- 3:27Speaker 1: year ago now when this all blew up again, and
- 3:30Speaker 1: this has been going on since, And the fact that
- 3:34Speaker 1: we still don't have a special counsel after all this
- 3:37Speaker 1: bullshit is just insane to me. I mean, how much
- 3:41Speaker 1: more nonsense are we going to take? Now? Hopefully, if
- 3:45Speaker 1: there's a new Congress after the election, they get their
- 3:48Speaker 1: shit together, but I'm not confident. We all know that
- 3:52Speaker 1: power protects power. The items were produced as part of
- 3:58Speaker 1: the approved project plan per years guidance to flag items
- 4:01Speaker 1: of interest for discussion with DOJ attorneys that were redacted.
- 4:06Speaker 1: The internal discussion at the FBI about public figures potentially
- 4:09Speaker 1: implicated in the scandal was starkly different from an awkward
- 4:13Speaker 1: public memo jointly released with the DOJ exactly two weeks
- 4:17Speaker 1: earlier that cited an exhaustive review of investigative holdings relating
- 4:21Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein and the federal agency's commitment to transparency.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Remember the nonsense they tried to pitch to us with
- 4:29Speaker 1: that letter. Oh, there's nothing left to see, nobody needs
- 4:32Speaker 1: to be investigated, You need to move on. Meanwhile, they're
- 4:36Speaker 1: hiding a bunch of bullshit. They're protecting a bunch of people,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and they're lying directly to the American public. The material,
- 4:46Speaker 1: the agency said, did not expose any additional third parties
- 4:49Speaker 1: to allegations of illegal wrongdoing and did not uncover evidence
- 4:53Speaker 1: that could predicate investigation against uncharged third parties. Imagine going
- 4:59Speaker 1: through everything we've warned through looking at all those documents,
- 5:02Speaker 1: all those court documents, all the allegations, and thinking there's
- 5:05Speaker 1: nothing there. I mean, it's absurd. It truly is absurd.
- 5:11Speaker 1: A DOJ spokesperson told raw Story that any guidance on
- 5:14Speaker 1: how or what the flag was given for the purpose
- 5:17Speaker 1: of general awareness and preparation for disclosure. The spokesperson's statement
- 5:23Speaker 1: is jarringly at odds with the July seventh, twenty twenty
- 5:26Speaker 1: five memo that was a product of the document review.
- 5:30Speaker 1: The memo specifically stated that it was the determination of
- 5:34Speaker 1: the DOJ and FBI, then no further disclosure would be
- 5:37Speaker 1: appropriate or warranted. The DOJ did not respond to a
- 5:41Speaker 1: request for clarification on the statement. Of course they didn't.
- 5:45Speaker 1: They're not beholden to you what you think. The taxpayer
- 5:48Speaker 1: pays the bills. Two weeks after the release of the
- 5:52Speaker 1: DOJ an FBI memo attempting to put concerns about Epstein
- 5:56Speaker 1: to rest. Perry was forwarding Betel material specifically flagged so
- 6:01Speaker 1: top administration officials could scrutinize possible links between powerful men
- 6:06Speaker 1: and the notorious ex traffickers most Hannus crimes. So basically
- 6:11Speaker 1: going through everything and making sure their friends are protected.
- 6:14Speaker 1: What we have here, folks, is a cover up that's
- 6:16Speaker 1: happening in real time, not one that happened fifty years ago,
- 6:20Speaker 1: not one that happened after JFK was killed, but right
- 6:23Speaker 1: now as we speak, and it's being managed by Todd Blanche.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The email included a list of six criminal cases linked
- 6:32Speaker 1: to Epstein, among them an FBI investigation launched by the
- 6:36Speaker 1: Miami Field Office in two thousand and six. That case
- 6:39Speaker 1: file includes a video file capturing a two thousand and
- 6:42Speaker 1: nine FBI sting operation resulting in the arrest of Alfredo Rodriguez,
- 6:47Speaker 1: the former house manager for Epstein's home in Palm Beach,
- 6:50Speaker 1: on suspicion of selling the so called black Book, containing
- 6:53Speaker 1: phone numbers of young women and girls that Epstein abused.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Not just that, but everybody. That black book had, all
- 7:01Speaker 1: the names of, all of his associates, everybody that was
- 7:04Speaker 1: dealing with them, all of his friends, and everybody that
- 7:07Speaker 1: he thought that you know, was in his circle. A
- 7:12Speaker 1: description of the video capturing the conversation between Rodriguez and
- 7:16Speaker 1: an FBI undercover employee that was flagged for the DOJ's
- 7:19Speaker 1: review contains just the sort of details about potential involvement
- 7:23Speaker 1: by Epstein associates that Trump's supporters had avidly sought. The
- 7:28Speaker 1: two talked about the girls, other employed by Epstein and
- 7:31Speaker 1: Epstein's associates. The description reads, the two discussed things that
- 7:35Speaker 1: happened between the girls and Epstein's associates. There are associates
- 7:39Speaker 1: named during the conversations. So why don't we have that,
- 7:43Speaker 1: Why wasn't that released? Who they trying to protect? And why?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Aside from Glenn Maxwell, Epstein's partner, who was convicted of
- 7:50Speaker 1: sex trafficking in twenty twenty one, the description does not
- 7:53Speaker 1: name any of the associates cited by Rodriguez, but when
- 7:57Speaker 1: the video was released along with millions of other records
- 8:00Speaker 1: through the Epstein Files Transparency Act and January twenty twenty six,
- 8:05Speaker 1: the associates mentioned by Rodriguez were revealed to be former
- 8:09Speaker 1: Israeli Prime Minister at who had Barock, and attorney Alan Dershowitz,
- 8:13Speaker 1: among others. Well, I wonder why Dershowitz was running for
- 8:18Speaker 1: the exits. Remember all the big blustery talk. Oh, I
- 8:22Speaker 1: can't wait to speak to Congress. Then the dude bounces
- 8:26Speaker 1: doesn't show up, just ghosts the whole process sit all
- 8:31Speaker 1: the way down and shut all the way up. Nobody
- 8:34Speaker 1: wants to hear it. Mister, I kept my underpants on here,
- 8:38Speaker 1: mister Epstein says, mister Brock, I'll fly to fly you
- 8:41Speaker 1: to New York and some of the girls that came
- 8:43Speaker 1: along the way. Rodriguez says in the video, which Rows
- 8:46Speaker 1: story reviewed, you can bring this guy down like in
- 8:49Speaker 1: no time. Barrock told The Wall Street Journal in twenty
- 8:52Speaker 1: twenty three that he met with Epstein at his various mansions,
- 8:55Speaker 1: but never participated in any party or any other inappropriate
- 8:59Speaker 1: event with him, and never met with any girls or miners,
- 9:03Speaker 1: not even with adult women in the context of any
- 9:06Speaker 1: inappropriate behavior. Well that's how Virginia said, so believe what
- 9:12Speaker 1: you will. Rodriguez told the undercover employee that Dershowitz would
- 9:17Speaker 1: typically sit at the pool with a glass of wine.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Although there was hanky panky upstairs, Rodriguez said he never
- 9:24Speaker 1: saw any indication that he took part. Although there were
- 9:27Speaker 1: sometimes naked or topless girls around the pool, he saw nothing.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Him and Epstein weren't friends. Come on, I was just
- 9:35Speaker 1: his lawyer. I was just over there every now and then,
- 9:38Speaker 1: no big deal. And when I got my massage. I
- 9:41Speaker 1: kept my underpants on. Rodriguez was convicted of obstruction of
- 9:45Speaker 1: justice in twenty twelve for hiding the Black Book and
- 9:49Speaker 1: attempting to sell it. He died from cancer in twenty
- 9:52Speaker 1: fourteen after serving his sentence. Rodriguez's testimony has been completely discredited.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Dershowitz told Raw Story he was a crim I never
- 10:01Speaker 1: saw any females at the pool naked, topless, or otherwise
- 10:04Speaker 1: complete fabrication. Okay, well you call him a liar. I
- 10:08Speaker 1: feel the same way about you, So I don't believe
- 10:11Speaker 1: your story, mister Dershowitz. That's my personal opinion. Dershowitz was
- 10:17Speaker 1: also flagged by the FBI as a public figure linked
- 10:20Speaker 1: to Epstein around the time of the controversial memo and
- 10:23Speaker 1: the meeting of top officials at the Situation Room to
- 10:26Speaker 1: strategize about how to insulate Trump from the feurre surrounding
- 10:30Speaker 1: the administration's handling of the Epstein files. Leslie Backshei's, a
- 10:36Speaker 1: Special Agent in charge of the New York Field Office,
- 10:38Speaker 1: sent an email to FBI colleagues on July tenth alerting
- 10:42Speaker 1: them that Dershowitz was referenced in the Epstein child sex
- 10:45Speaker 1: trafficking investigation in two FBI witness interviews. Minutes later, Charles Arroboro,
- 10:52Speaker 1: Assistant director of the FBI's Criminal Investigation Division, forwarded the
- 10:56Speaker 1: email to ptel got to protect Trump's homies, right to
- 11:00Speaker 1: make sure everybody's so dumb. Can't let the cover up
- 11:03Speaker 1: be exposed? Can we? Dershowitz was not considered a subject
- 11:07Speaker 1: in the investigation, and no evidence was uncovered during the
- 11:11Speaker 1: investigation to suggest Dershowitz was involved in the abuse of miners.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Bakschiz wrote. She went on to summarize the two witness
- 11:18Speaker 1: interviews and look, I'm not saying that he did. What
- 11:21Speaker 1: I am saying is that he lies about his relationship
- 11:23Speaker 1: with Epstein. They were a lot closer than he says,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and I think there's plenty of witnesses that have come
- 11:29Speaker 1: forward and painted that picture. Another witness told the FBI
- 11:34Speaker 1: that they met Dershowitz at Epstein's home when he was
- 11:37Speaker 1: alone without his wife and he received a massage, in
- 11:40Speaker 1: contradiction to the public statement previously made by Dershowitz, both
- 11:45Speaker 1: proffers are probably false. Dershowitz told Raw Story, I never
- 11:49Speaker 1: had sexual contact with anyone other than my wife since
- 11:53Speaker 1: the day I met Jeffrey Epstein. I never did anything
- 11:55Speaker 1: improper with regard to Epstein. I have been the victim
- 11:59Speaker 1: of this provably false accusations. I asked the FBI to
- 12:03Speaker 1: investigate the false allegations against me, but still doesn't have
- 12:07Speaker 1: the courage to go speak to Congress. Got it. The
- 12:10Speaker 1: FBI did not respond to a detailed set of questions
- 12:13Speaker 1: for the story. Blanche, who was up for confirmation as
- 12:18Speaker 1: Attorney General, wrote in a response to a question posed
- 12:21Speaker 1: by Senator Dick Durbin that the FBI pursued all investigative
- 12:25Speaker 1: leads in its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Blanch wrote, consistent with the long standing principle of federal
- 12:33Speaker 1: prosecution as outlined in the Justice Manual, several experienced prosecutors
- 12:38Speaker 1: and investigators have reviewed the material and determined that additional
- 12:42Speaker 1: prosecutions are unavailable at this time. In response to questions
- 12:47Speaker 1: from senators, Blanche refused to comment on whether Department of
- 12:50Speaker 1: Justice has initiated any new investigations related to Epstein's sex
- 12:54Speaker 1: trafficking ring since the beginning of the second Trump administration.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Documents were released by the FBI in response to a
- 13:03Speaker 1: Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the nonprofit Democracy
- 13:07Speaker 1: Forward Foundation. Despite the Trump Vance administration's attempts to forestall
- 13:12Speaker 1: transparency to its handling of the Epstein files with delay tactics,
- 13:17Speaker 1: Democracy Forward will keep fighting in court to ensure the
- 13:21Speaker 1: public has access to more of these important documents, said
- 13:24Speaker 1: Dan McGrath, special counsel for oversight at the nonprofit. So
- 13:29Speaker 1: how many more examples do we need that there is
- 13:31Speaker 1: a cover up underway and that that cover up is
- 13:35Speaker 1: being managed by none other than Todd Blanche. All the
- 13:39Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 13:42Speaker 1: the description box.
