Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #212: Highs and Lows Shape Our Growth
Transcript
- 0:02Hey, everybody, Welcome to tea SI with Amy and Bev. What's up
- 0:05girl, Good day, Everything's great. We were talking a little bit ahead
- 0:10of time that I'm walking around the house and I'm thinking, man, it's
- 0:13so nice. I don't have anything that I have to have to do today,
- 0:17not until my grandson's game. And I was like, oh God.
- 0:21And then because I and then I'm running through the house and I look at
- 0:24my calendar and I had written on there nine thirty, and we kind of
- 0:27had discussed nine before that, but then you said, yeah, I said,
- 0:33you know, on my calendar, I had it at nine. Bev
- 0:38and I share a calendar, so I saw that she had it at nine
- 0:40thirty, and so I had some other things to do, but I went
- 0:44ahead at nine o'clock or a little bit before nine, went ahead and set
- 0:47up to records. So we're doing this in zoom. So I've had the
- 0:52screen up and everything just ready. But I've been putting around. But in
- 0:57my mind I was sending her to telepathic message saying I'm ready whenever you are.
- 1:02I'm ready whenever you are, right. But I just kept doing the
- 1:07other stuff I was doing, and then I received the message at I look
- 1:11at the time, it was nine to eleven. I was like, oh,
- 1:14I got to hurry up, And isn't it interesting that it was at
- 1:18nine to one one exactly? It was nothing urgent. I wasn't flustered or
- 1:23frustrated or anything with I was just like, Okay, well we're gonna do
- 1:27this. Whenever we do this this morning, nine nine thirty. I got
- 1:32things I can do in the meantime, and I have I have this set
- 1:34up so when when you come in, it chimes, so it gets my
- 1:40attention, so if I walk away, I can hear it. So but
- 1:45that leads me to flexibility. We've talked about this before, but I think
- 1:49it's important to I mean, it's always this might be a new conversation to
- 1:57somebody who's seeing this for the first time, even though we've talked about this
- 2:00other times. And flexibility, I mean when in the past, and it
- 2:08still shows up a little bit still today, not today today, but in
- 2:13my life currently that when you are on the opposite end of being flexible,
- 2:21you're being controlling. And that's when you need to know who, what,
- 2:24when, where, why. You need all the details, you need to
- 2:28know, all the expectations and you have quote unquote all your ducks in a
- 2:34row, and I mean that kind of leads to perfection as well, but
- 2:39that leaves no room for flexibility. So when things go awry or doesn't fit
- 2:46into your box, then it seems like chaos unfolds when a lot of times
- 2:53there's a reason why there's a redirection. True experience that this week at my
- 3:01job in I've been at this job since the end of August of twenty twenty
- 3:09three, so we are on May eighteenth, and in this entire time,
- 3:20this past week was the first time that I've had what I would call a
- 3:24day like you just seriously want to throw punch somebody out, just like on
- 3:30edge about things, because it was it just seemed like one chaotic thing after
- 3:37another. There were three in one day, and I thought, okay.
- 3:39I kept just kept thinking, okay, we got three in a day.
- 3:43We're good. We're gonna be good for quite a while now because we got
- 3:46the three, because I always say things come in threes, and it was
- 3:49three back to back to back in one day. And it was just interesting
- 3:58how I kind of I got caught up in some drama and then I pulled
- 4:00back. I'm like Okay, recenter, regroup, come on, and then
- 4:06I would get pulled in and I'm like, come back right. And so
- 4:09I did kind of this in and out, in and out, and it
- 4:14almost made me feel like I was I don't want to say bipolar, but
- 4:18similar to that, right, because it was just it was an in and
- 4:21and out and in and in and out. It's just on this roller coaster
- 4:25of excitement and frustration and then pulling back going Okay, take a breath,
- 4:30relax, recenter, and then I get pulled And so it was an interesting
- 4:34process for myself. I feel like I because it was so much in one
- 4:40day at once that for me, I felt like I handled it pretty well
- 4:46for the most part. There were those pieces that were off kilter and I
- 4:54was still able to recognize it. And really the biggest piece about that as
- 5:00having the awareness, like I know, I'm caught up in the drama right
- 5:04now, I know it. What am I going to do about it?
- 5:06Because this doesn't feel good, Take a braass, sit back. But when
- 5:11you have other people in involved and really tied up into the drama and talking
- 5:20about it and bringing all that emotion, it's interesting how much focus it takes
- 5:30to keep yourself maintaining your own energy amongst all that, and and being able
- 5:42to first of all recognize it, second of all do something about it,
- 5:46and third maintain it. It's it's, it's it and always right. I
- 5:53always say this, like, when when it's time for you to level up
- 5:56into something, you're going to be given the situations and experience to do that.
- 6:00So I was just like a fuck, here we go. And I
- 6:05staff for quite a bit that day, I will tell you, But to
- 6:11me, that's about the least resistance that is for us. It's like the
- 6:15teapots that's got all that steam built up in it and it allows that steam
- 6:17to come off of it. It's not good or bad, right, It's
- 6:20we go back to the whole positive and negative thing. I was just listening
- 6:24to South Eastman and she was saying, you know, on a battery in
- 6:26your vehicle, you have positive and negative. One's not positive and one's not
- 6:30negative. It's you need both of it to have the to have the growth
- 6:33or to make that that that vehicle run. And so we're having both to
- 6:39Matt constalking about busting forth through these things and recognizing all these things that are
- 6:45having aren't positive or negative. They're just allowing us to let go of some
- 6:49things that we were. So we had our claws into it. We were
- 6:54holding on so deeply to this and so tightly to it because it we've we've
- 6:58known it since that we were not since we were born up, since we
- 7:00were taught it right. We knew that's the way it was until you find
- 7:03out that that's not true. And we don't know until we start letting go
- 7:08of things. Yeah, and then still you kind of touched on it at
- 7:11the beginning of the conversation telepathically. We are all energetic beings, all of
- 7:16us, and it ties everything together because we're energetic beings and you're thinking,
- 7:21BIV, you know cause I do this. I've played June's Journey on occasion
- 7:26every day for a little bit, and sometimes we have people that are supposed
- 7:30to show up for drink time if our ribbons matter or whatever. During the
- 7:34game, all think of the person and they almost always show up because it's
- 7:38just being in that if they're able to. It's just being in that space
- 7:42and it's not thinking like anything like hurry up, you need to get your
- 7:45ass on here or anything like that. It's just thinking you just think about
- 7:47them and then they're like, oh yeah, and then they go do it.
- 7:49And that's the same thing that happened to me today. But that ties
- 7:53into being in this space when you're with everybody else, if you're if you're
- 7:57not watching your energy, now you're walking into a space that someone else's metronome.
- 8:01If anyone knows that that is, it's a little tick tick. It
- 8:05keeps kind of the balance, or that keeps kind of the tone how you
- 8:07want to follow. If you're playing music or anything like that, it's constant
- 8:11rhythmic. You're either gonna be that metronome or you're gonna walk into the space
- 8:16and then you're gonna match someone else's metronome. And it's like sometimes we don't
- 8:20want to match that energy. But again, it's not good or bad.
- 8:24It's an experience, and so it's not to beat ourselves up when we go
- 8:26into that space, but just feel how it feels afterwards. Sometimes I've been
- 8:31in that space and it's like I want to go home and take a shower
- 8:33because it just feels so gross. It just feels yumpy, right, It
- 8:35just doesn't feel good. But none of this stuff is bad or good.
- 8:39It's part of an experience, and it's like we don't know. Gosh,
- 8:43it's this again. I'll used reference of Matt conn it's really getting to know
- 8:48yourself. You know, we learned about so much about something else and here
- 8:52we are having an experience. You know, God's having an experience through us,
- 8:56but we don't even know anything about us. And it's really really taking
- 9:01the time to look at all that stuff. Oh well that ticked you off?
- 9:03Why did it tick you off? Like what was the big deal?
- 9:07Or you know, what was the whatever whatever the processes that you used,
- 9:11But as being aware of it, like you said, it's just taking the
- 9:13time to take a look at it and see why it's being triggered by it
- 9:16and see why it's showing up in your experience. And then sometimes it's just
- 9:20for nothing at all. It's like, oh yeah, look at me go
- 9:24like even you waiting for me to come on here. It was at nine
- 9:28o'clock. I need that extra few minutes just to be able to get to
- 9:31brush my hair and stuff because it's it's Saturday. I'm not in a hurry
- 9:35to do anything, which takes me into the next thing. I recognize when
- 9:41I'm in the space of that hurry. I'm almost in a shutdown anymore.
- 9:43I can't. It's no longer acceptable for my being to try to fit everything
- 9:50into a day. And I used to. I used to do it all
- 9:54the time, and I catch myself occasionally do and I was even trying to
- 9:56do it yesterday, and it's like I have to realize that that doesn't feel
- 10:01good. Well, it doesn't feel good. Wait a minute, I don't
- 10:03have to make myself do this. I doesn't feel it doesn't feel good.
- 10:07Hey, guess what, it doesn't feel good. I don't have to do
- 10:09it. I don't have to do these things. I didn't do group yesterday.
- 10:11You know, we were doing we were going to put it out of
- 10:13that. I had some different things happen, and it's like and then I
- 10:18have my grandson show and it's like I have to recognize what the things that
- 10:22they both bring me joy. But it's like I know that I know that
- 10:26my grandchildren it's very important for them for that timeframe too. And I'm not
- 10:31saying that group's not important too, but I'm just saying sometimes I have to
- 10:35kind of look at things and value them. Because that was our routine was
- 10:41on Fridays, and I was trying to squeeze everything in in the day and
- 10:45it just wasn't possible. Some of these things aren't possible. It wasn't my
- 10:48old way of thinking. But then I would be ran ragged at bragged by
- 10:52the time I got home. I'm not worth anything in my relationship because I
- 10:56have nothing more to give. I'm at the end. I'm at the end,
- 10:58there's nothing left. I'm just tired. You know, you're at that
- 11:03space and it's like running yourself like that constantly. And I'll say, what's
- 11:09been a big factor for me? I guess probably helping me is there's so
- 11:11many things, but yoga has been a huge thing. And recently because we
- 11:16went on a hike because I had my birthday this past week, but we
- 11:20went on a hike for my birthday, went up to like Oapen area and
- 11:22picked around and picked up rocks. Well, I I loaded my bag,
- 11:26my backpack that was on my back, and I paid the price Friday,
- 11:31Thursday, Thursday night and stuff. And it's like it was really, it
- 11:33was not. It was not a good knock. It was not, but
- 11:37I did it. And it's like I recognize even at that time, I
- 11:39could have slowed down, right, So I'm slowing down in so many ways,
- 11:41but I'm still recognizing there's things and it's not good or bad, it's
- 11:45just a recognition and then knowing I could have gone back to the vehicle and
- 11:50I've had buckets for it for excess, so I didn't have to carry it
- 11:52out on my back the whole time. So it's just recognizing certain things like
- 11:56that. But we get into such a habit of this doing we got to
- 12:01get it done right now, and we've got to see everything we can right
- 12:03this moment. And it's like, it's not when we're doing that kind of
- 12:05stuff, we're missing out on things. We're not being present, we're too
- 12:09busy rushing around, or we're too busy, whatever you want to label it.
- 12:13So it's just really taking those times. And that's what yoga Kundalini yoga
- 12:18because I couldn't do the regular yoga I was hurting too much, but just
- 12:20doing the Kundalini yoga, which is little less movements, but you know that's
- 12:24the breath work, and that's gosh. You could look at it in so
- 12:28many different ways. For me, it's like getting to know my body,
- 12:31getting to recognize where my body is locked up at because I found this one
- 12:35teacher and I don't know what her name is right now, off of YouTube,
- 12:37and it's free stuff, and it's like she's just got such a great
- 12:41energy. The classes are short, like thirty minutes maybe, and it's like
- 12:45it's just it's short quick, but you recognize when you're when you're shifting your
- 12:48body around stuff. You recognize where you're folding things and where things are tight.
- 12:52And then she even stops you for a moment after you've done a certain
- 12:56like I'm doing one. It's just for chakras, and you get to a
- 13:00certain spot you stop after that and you just sit there for a minute and
- 13:03feel how that feels in your body after you just opened it up, and
- 13:07it's like it's so fascinating. But that's so I'm getting meditation at the same
- 13:11time. So it's bring me into a different peace and awareness. And we
- 13:15don't know what peace is until we start experiencing that. You know, we
- 13:20say all the time we want more peace, but sometimes I didn't know what
- 13:22the hell that looked like. And maybe I still don't know, but I'm
- 13:26getting a tip of the iceberg of how it feels. So I'm getting a
- 13:28I'm recognizing right now that how that feels different in the body, and it's
- 13:33slowed me down more, which ties into I can't I'm no longer satisfied being
- 13:39on that that hamster wheel. Well, at my job, there have there's
- 13:48been, there are quite a few moments where it's oh, we got to
- 13:56drop this and go I'll be there in a few minutes, like you know,
- 14:01and going back with the hurry thing. And I associate for myself because
- 14:07you know, my old way of being. People don't get to see that
- 14:11here because that's not who I am any at this time. Are their glimpses,
- 14:16Yes, And I want to keep reiterating that because I want people to
- 14:20understand I'm not perfect at this this new way of being by no means,
- 14:24because things still pop up. But I also see them as opportunities to whether
- 14:30you want to call it level up or have awareness of another shift or some
- 14:35energy clearing that still needs to take place in my mental state and emotional state.
- 14:39So everyone in a while will remind the audience I'm not perfect at this
- 14:45still, so it's practice. We're practicing, still practicing. Yes, So
- 14:52the old way of being I would have been very flustered and frustrated with Oh
- 15:00we gotta go now, Oh we gotta hurry, yup, oh we gotta
- 15:01do right. And because I have been practicing for a while, the flexibility
- 15:09being flexible, being able to take that breath and pivot meaning Okay, well
- 15:16I gotta stop this and I gotta go do this now, pivoting to something
- 15:20different. I've recognized in myself that I do it pretty well now. At
- 15:30the beginning, when I start first working there, it took a little getting
- 15:33used to, because I mean, I've been in this space right where I'm
- 15:37sitting right now. I've been in this space for about four years and in
- 15:43my own world doing my thing and do this when I need to, and
- 15:46do that when I need to, and there's just been a it's just been
- 15:50a flowy type of thing. But when you go out into a public job
- 15:54and you know somebody's got all these things lined up that you're unaware of because
- 16:00they have their calendar and you don't see their calendar, and they come around
- 16:06the corner and go, okay, you ready to go uh, okay,
- 16:10sure, let me grab my purse and let me go in the bathroom.
- 16:15But so again just coming back to you know what, this is where we're
- 16:22at at the moment. Take a breath, pivot, take a breath,
- 16:25be flexible, take a breath, handle whatever is in that moment. And
- 16:30it takes it does take a lot of practice to be able to do that,
- 16:33especially if you are one of a person who has controlling tendencies, or
- 16:41you are shifting from or you're a recovering control freak. Uh you, It
- 16:47takes a lot of practice to be able to be in that flexible space and
- 16:52and the go with the flow type of thing. And I and I recognize
- 17:00that when I look at it from from a perspective of Okay, we're pivoting
- 17:04instead of oh I got a hurry up, it's two different energies, completely
- 17:10different, and just being able to practice that, and that's you know,
- 17:15I'm just every time, not every time, looking back on the history,
- 17:22I've recognized how each place of employment or each business that I've had, that
- 17:29how incredibly valuable they've been in my growth. And even still to this day
- 17:37in the employment that I'm at now, I'm still growing and it's in multi
- 17:42multi, multiple areas. So the hurry up, let's go, We got
- 17:48to go now, Okay, practice flexibility, Practicing being able to pivot on
- 17:52it, you know, like right now, Practicing being able to take a
- 17:56breath and just be like, Okay, this is where we're at. Practice
- 18:00seeing, holding and maintaining my energy in those moments of when everybody else is
- 18:03getting up hyped up about some issue that's come up, Practicing being solution oriented.
- 18:14Like, There's been so many things that I've recognized from being in this
- 18:18job that has been so valuable and I'm and I'm embracing it and it's been
- 18:26actually really fun. I'm learning like party planning. Who knew, right,
- 18:32I'm I'm like the the uh like we do bingo, not any ever in
- 18:44my world what I've thought I would be knowing everything there needs to be know
- 18:48about bingo, like legit Arizona state licensed bingo sessions. So it's just been
- 19:02it's been very very I the sword valuable just keeps coming up, very valuable
- 19:08in having this position and giving me the opportunity to be out into the public
- 19:15and meeting more people in different areas that I wouldn't have met by sitting continuing
- 19:21to sit here working on my business. And I totally understand. I believe
- 19:27me. I have all my moments. Yesterday, I went to one store
- 19:30and it's like I was in there, it seemed like I was. I
- 19:32didn't think I was in there about long, and I was seemed to be
- 19:33doing fine. And I get out there and it's like like I've lost like
- 19:37an hour or more, and it's like, you've got to be kidding me,
- 19:40standing at a line here for something and then not even getting half the
- 19:42stuff. And I was very frustrated, very frustrated. And then just because
- 19:47of the time frame, now that I noticed I was rushing around, then
- 19:49I'm going to go do a couple other things. And I thought, well,
- 19:52I'm going to go stop off at the other store that's you know.
- 19:56And then I thought, no, I'm going to go to this different store.
- 19:57For some reason, I thought I'll go over to this store. Well,
- 20:00I pulled up. I pulled up into the spot right up next to
- 20:03the cart return, which is right by the entrance to the store. I
- 20:07was able to walk right in. I found everything that I was looking for.
- 20:10I was able to go in and out there, and in the meantime,
- 20:11I'm having a conversation with Freeman. Before I even go into this place
- 20:15like, f this if that's the way things are gonna be, I don't
- 20:18need to be on this fricking plant. I am not gonna deal with this
- 20:19shit if it's going to be a struggle. And that was a conversation,
- 20:22right, and then the next thing that happened was like, I'm calling it
- 20:26back up after that, and I'm like, I got right into the first
- 20:29spot I thought I was in, and now that store, after I got
- 20:30all these things, they had everything that I needed. I end the restroom
- 20:34and I go up to the register. There's there's one person that she just
- 20:37finished up with and in front of me. Now, so it was a
- 20:41like you said before. The difference was that first instance would have ruined my
- 20:45whole day and I could not have enjoyed the second instance. It couldn't have
- 20:51happened, And so it's not I could sit and beat myself up and be
- 20:53like, oh, here you go. Here you're talking about You're like,
- 20:56I don't need to be on the plan anymore for this bullshit, and blah
- 20:59blah blah. It's gonna be a like all that stuff. But like again
- 21:02goes back with you saying the effort all day on whatever day it was,
- 21:06it's the path of least resistance. And sometimes it's better if I'm gonna throw
- 21:10a temper tantrum, which I've told my kids, grandkids, you know,
- 21:12as adults throw temper tantrums too, And that's a temper tantrum. But you
- 21:15know what, it's better out than in. That's the way I look at
- 21:18it now. Thankfully, Freemansbury understanding and knows it's he says, it's not
- 21:22my monkey's not my circus, but allows me to have my you know,
- 21:27process. And so with that being allowed, and then I get to look
- 21:32at things differently, and I had I instead of holding on to that,
- 21:36I was able to let go of it and have such a great experience.
- 21:37And I went over to pick up my grandson and my little grandson's awake and
- 21:42stuff, and I got to give him some snugs and you know real you
- 21:45know, before Colton and I took off. So then we came up here
- 21:48and played for a while and it was a great time. Like we did
- 21:52all kinds of things, and it we miss out. I'll go back to
- 21:55the rushing thing. We miss out on things we're coming up. We decided
- 21:59to go through the mouth and I know it takes a little bit longer to
- 22:02go that way, but it's all right. And we come up and I
- 22:04have to go to the RB Park to pick up a package. And I'm
- 22:07like, I told my grandson, you know, if you want, you
- 22:10can get out, you can go look at the fish. And he says,
- 22:11well, can I put my finger in there? And I said no.
- 22:14And then it's like I said, but just stay there and you can
- 22:15look at it, and I'll go get the package. So I go in
- 22:18in and I'm out there and we're looking at it and we're talking and talking
- 22:21about where our favorites are that I would not have allowed in the past.
- 22:25No, get, we're not going to have time to go play. If
- 22:26we're going to do this right now, we're not going to have time to
- 22:29play. This is part of the play. This is part of it the
- 22:33play, but this is part of it. And then the gentleman walks out
- 22:36and he says, hey, do you want would he like to feed the
- 22:38fish? Oh, my gosh, would he like to feed the fish?
- 22:41And he brings out this cup full and then Colton is giving like little pieces
- 22:45at a time, but he wants to milk this as long as he can,
- 22:48and I loved it. And then I let him drive. We're on
- 22:49that dirt road, so I let him drive. I just let him drive,
- 22:52and he drives the whole dirt road. Now it used to just be
- 22:55my driveway. So it's it's all those moments we get into such hurries to
- 23:00get to the destination right, And it's the same thing that Abraham Hicks talked
- 23:03about all the time. Er Esther Hicks, I'm talking about always trying to
- 23:07be in a hurry, but never enjoying the journey to get there. And
- 23:11it's those little, those little it makes me emotional, but those little journeys
- 23:15that we get to have such an experience with someone else that lets them know
- 23:18how much we care about them without saying I care about you. It's just
- 23:22being it's just being in that good energy. And then we came up here
- 23:26and we ran around. I mean we came and we played some ball,
- 23:30we watched some We like to watch stuff on YouTube that has like snakes,
- 23:34new snakes being born and stuff like that, super cool stuff that I never
- 23:38would have thought, I would never have been interested in, but my granddaughter
- 23:41loves it. So then we started watching this stuff too, and then so
- 23:45like we went out and played some ball for a while, and then we
- 23:47came in and start doing some art stuff, and then mom was here.
- 23:49So it's like it was such a it was so much joy to being all
- 23:53those things instead of trying to control it. Right, because I've tried.
- 23:57I've done that, and when it comes to kid you guys might as well
- 24:00give up. If you're trying to control kids, forget about it. They're
- 24:03not meant to be controlled. I've listened to so much different stuff that's come
- 24:07forward, But they talk about their brains, their their frontal lobes and stuff
- 24:11like that. They're not even have the capacity to understand and process things until
- 24:15they're like in their late twenties. But yet we're having an expectation of a
- 24:18child to be responsive and be the same way that we are at our stage,
- 24:26when really our bodies were not. They're not set up to do that.
- 24:30It's not kids were meant to be crazy and run around and blow off
- 24:32steam and stuff like that. They're great teachers. It's just, you know,
- 24:37it's just recognizing not trying to fit them into a box and expect them
- 24:40to sit still and expect them to be quiet, it's like, let's let's
- 24:44nurture them, because at the same time we're nurturing them or we're nurturing ourselves.
- 24:49Yeah. Yeah, the expectation. I mean both you and I grew
- 24:53had childhoods where we had to grow up fast and be the adult at what
- 25:00like six four you know, So, yeah, understanding the dynamics of how
- 25:11children are in their in their stages of growth and just being sponges and getting
- 25:19all their programming from the adults around them to navigate life and the best way
- 25:23they know how. And then yeah, becoming adults themselves and and and being
- 25:30a mess really yeah, because we we didn't have the tools that we're learning
- 25:36today these days. Uh. And so that's part of the evolution. Now,
- 25:41that's just part of evolution of humanity and and our planet. And and
- 25:48we we don't know what we don't know, and that's just it. We
- 25:51don't know what we don't know. And so but the thing is is that
- 25:55when you learn something different, it's important to first of all, implement it.
- 26:00If it's to me, if it's something that's going to help you be
- 26:03and do better within yourself, that you implement it. You be the example
- 26:08and if you so choose, also have the conversations. This is the way
- 26:15we help each other. So it's not to get the get the information and
- 26:21keep it to yourself. It's like, oh, yeah, this makes sense.
- 26:25I mean, how many times have we said we are doing things that
- 26:29feel good to us and in doing that we're examples. We're also by doing
- 26:36this, we're teachers. And then the things that we do outside of this,
- 26:41this these podcasts, this podcast, the classes that we teach, the
- 26:45conversations that we have, we're still we're still planting seeds. We're still having
- 26:48those conversations outside of this, and that's how we start making changes. I
- 26:59mean, the studies that they're doing today weren't studies they did one hundred years
- 27:03ago, so you couldn't have had the information then. So for us growing
- 27:08up in the seventies, nineteen seventy, just by the way, that's gotta
- 27:15throw that in there, they had the information we have today with and have
- 27:22it and back then when we were kids. And so our parents are living
- 27:27from what they grew up with from their parents, and their parents are growing
- 27:30up from what they had from their parents, which is your grandparents and great
- 27:34grandparents and the generations go back. I was listening to a podcast, I
- 27:41think it was Lewis House Podcasts, and he was talking to a lady and
- 27:48she was saying that our body like us as when we were kids, so
- 27:56children that in their bodies they are carrying the energy she didn't use the words
- 28:03energy, but carrying the energy of at least seven generations back. That's a
- 28:14long time. That's a lot of years. That's a lot of information,
- 28:18right, And so we're we're recognizing all these things now were people are studying
- 28:26these things now. But it was interesting though that he asked. I thought
- 28:34this was quite interesting. He asked, well, do you think that this
- 28:40also pertains He asked the question similar to this, with not exact words,
- 28:42do you think this also pertains to pass lives? And she just kind of
- 28:47glossed right over it and didn't even touch that topic. And I'm like,
- 28:52okay, that's okay. So for people who do believe in past lives,
- 28:56for me, I believe in them. I don't think this is the only
- 29:00life we have. I believe we come back many times, and that we
- 29:03do we could carry forward some of the energy from that previous life. But
- 29:11generational generational stuff that a child already has and is caring, and so you
- 29:21know, there are groups that do ancestral healing that's part of this process.
- 29:26So it's just all absolutely fascinating to me that all the avenues of how we
- 29:33are being affected not just from our childhood and the people that was in our
- 29:41childhood, but generations. You know, I can go off on that little
- 29:48bit just because I know things that popped into my head recently, and I
- 29:52know it's kind of guiding, but there's like instances we look back at pictures
- 29:56of ourselves and we think, oh my god, it looks so good.
- 29:57Then why was I being so hard on myself? Well, then take that
- 30:00opportunity right now to be in that space of being almost like as if you
- 30:06were in that body at that time, and enjoying that space because it creates
- 30:11a shift. Right We're creating a shift because everything is happening right now.
- 30:15So for me, I believe in parallel realities. I believe everything's happening right
- 30:21now. I believe that. I mean, these are my beliefs. Will
- 30:22I change. They could, They'll probably get a little bit crazier to some
- 30:26other people. You know, the way that I perceive things but at the
- 30:30same time, it's like everything's happening right now, so we do have an
- 30:33effect on all those things right now. We absolutely do. And I'll go
- 30:38back to the conversation you your metronome in the office, was your experience right
- 30:45to balance for that? And mine's with the grandkids a lot of times because
- 30:49I because I can get wrapped up into them really easily, and it's like
- 30:53that's where a lot of my triggers come from. There's a lot of stuff
- 30:56that I noticed that for me, and I would never have noticed this before,
- 31:00but even yesterday playing ball, and it's like I noticed that he wanted
- 31:04to continue playing even though he was not happy, and I said, I
- 31:07want you to stop and pay attention. How are you feeling right this moment?
- 31:11Because how many people know I don't remember anybody ever asked me how am
- 31:15I feeling right this moment? And I don't. Maybe he doesn't, maybe
- 31:18he doesn't completely comprehend that, but he will because again we're planning seeds.
- 31:22And I remember telling him that because I started matching up with his energy and
- 31:26it's like that's not the energy that I want to match up with because I'm
- 31:30not benefiting that person, just like you wouldn't benefit those people even though you
- 31:34had a group, which is which can be a little bit more intense,
- 31:38But that just means that you're able to do it because you're in that space
- 31:41and you're capable of doing this to keep yourself in a balance and keep yourself
- 31:45in it at the frequency that you want to keep yourself even though there's stuff
- 31:49going on and we can still get wrapped in it. I can still get
- 31:52wrapped in it. And then I'm like, listen, I said, we
- 31:56probably should go get a snack and drink, have a drink of water,
- 31:57I said, because this is something that attention to again, because we've talked
- 32:01about this, especially over the last few weeks, paying attention to whatever our
- 32:05body, what does our body need, because we can't expect this body.
- 32:08Our vehicle is not going to run if you run out of gas, it's
- 32:10not going anywhere, guys, it's going to stay right there. It's not
- 32:14going to sit and cry about it. Now we will because we'll become emotional
- 32:17because we have no more fuel. We have no more gas in this vehicle
- 32:22to continue moving forward. So it's recognizing those things and so I'm helping him
- 32:25to recognize his body because it helps me to recognize because that's been one of
- 32:30my faults, am igraded all this stuff. No, but I'm in practice
- 32:34of all this stuff. It's all of it's a practice, like we've talked
- 32:37about all of it's a practice, and it's recognizing how and it's our imagination.
- 32:43You can create whatever you want to create. So if you guys don't
- 32:45believe in parallel realities, just wrap your mind around a little bit, play
- 32:50with it. It doesn't have to be something that has to you have to
- 32:52believe in, but it's something I can play with in my imagination. If
- 32:54I was going to write a book that really just didn't have any you know,
- 32:59there's unic horns and ferries in here, in parallels, and just jump
- 33:01back into her other body, and she's now appreciating that body, and she's
- 33:06having an experience with that body that I didn't have before because I was too
- 33:09busy on that hamster will. What hit me last night is I never realized
- 33:14when I was raising my kids, I never realized that I could have stepped
- 33:16off that hamster Will at any time I could have. All I knew is
- 33:21I had to keep going and going and going and going that's all I knew,
- 33:23because that's what I learned, right, He said, we don't know.
- 33:27Until we know where I'm at now, my whole life would be different.
- 33:30I would totally make different choices from that time frame with where I'm at
- 33:35right now because I've slowed down enough to be able to see those things.
- 33:38And it's like, this won't make sense to someone that's on that hamster will
- 33:43because they haven't slowed down, And it doesn't make me sense. It makes
- 33:46no sense. How can I do that? How can I do that?
- 33:50And it doesn't make sense because as far as you know, as far as
- 33:52I knew, my mom works three part time jobs to take care of myself
- 33:55and my sister. So she did. She was busting in our butt trying
- 34:00to, you know, make sure that we had food on the table and
- 34:01we had a roof over our head. She was mom and dad at that
- 34:06time. So it's like it's recognizing he can be mom and dad, but
- 34:10we don't have to be doing all the time. We don't have to constantly
- 34:14try to make things work out. And gosh, we're in a different day
- 34:16and age, right, even though back in the day we were burned out
- 34:21at the stake, and these days you can be burned out the steak a
- 34:22different way. So it's just like it just changes how the experience is,
- 34:28but the experiences are still happening until we decided to let go of them.
- 34:31We're talking generational, if we're talking really, because now the experiences look a
- 34:37little bit differently because now you're not going to have a steak with someone burning
- 34:39at it typically. I mean, I'm not saying that could never happen in
- 34:43this timeframe anything as possible, but it's being aware that things are still happening
- 34:49and those triggers are still happening for you to release or to look at it
- 34:52and say, oh, don't have to hold on to that. You were
- 34:54saying something and I automatic, I don't remember what we were talking about in
- 34:58this conversation, but I automatically felt like I was someone that was lived out
- 35:05in the West or something like that, and I had to defend myself.
- 35:07Everybody was against me, couldn't trust anybody. So that was how it felt.
- 35:12And then it's like I've carried that on into this lifetime. I have,
- 35:15and then I had experiences that were different from those experiences but still would
- 35:21be the same thing that I had to have my own back, and I
- 35:23didn't couldn't count on anybody else or anything like that. But now I've evolved
- 35:28and I recognized there's so much more to us than us. There's so much
- 35:31more than meets the eye. Yeah, and then as you're talking, you
- 35:38know, like our kids, so we know because we didn't know at the
- 35:44time what we know now. So we gain our children their programming, right,
- 35:52contributed to their programming based on how we were living in that survival mode
- 35:55and the anger and all the things. So you know, they picked that
- 36:00up. And so they they're now adults and they're going they have their own
- 36:05journey, and what they do with the informations their choice. If they choose
- 36:10that, you know, the way they're living life doesn't feel good to them,
- 36:15it's up to them to make changes. So as the parents, we
- 36:21are learning new things and we have implemented new things, and we are different
- 36:25now than we were when we were young and raising a little person. So
- 36:32I'm not going to say that there's no hope in us affecting our kids,
- 36:37because there is. They're seeing us differently, and I have no doubt about
- 36:43that. But what came to me the most was that by you talking to
- 36:50your grandson and saying, how do you feel? How does your body feel?
- 36:54What emotion are right? Having that conversation or having them tune in the
- 37:00idea of them that when their parents, which was Bev's daughters and son in
- 37:07law's right, that Bev's grandson when his mom, which is Bev's daughter,
- 37:16when Bev's daughter might have a moment where she's riled up, upset, angry
- 37:22or whatever, that Bev's grandson stops and says, Mom, how do you
- 37:25feel right now? And just asking that question and having because you know,
- 37:31out of the mouth of the babes, kids get it. Kids get it
- 37:35and they say things and it'll stop you in your tracks to be like,
- 37:39WHOA right, you've had it happen with your grandkids. So just the idea
- 37:45of that just really lights me up because I think it's your kids, your
- 37:52daughter's may not be in a space to hear you in what you're doing or
- 37:58teaching or talking about or the language use, but when their children says something
- 38:06that might get their attention a little more so. So it's kind of,
- 38:09I don't know, like a backdoor effect on your on your kids, right
- 38:15it's just going to be interesting how this unfolds to me when we're when you're
- 38:22talking now, I'm like, seeing this makes a difference if it'll make a
- 38:27difference in this lifetime, but it will make a difference in our next lifetime
- 38:30together, because it'll be the flow will be different. There will be more
- 38:32compassionate understanding and more love from the get go because we're going through we're and
- 38:37we're learning so much more information. We don't lose that information. We're here
- 38:42having an experience and we're gaining so much knowledge to be in this experience,
- 38:45we're expanding, and it's recognizing from this experience that we can we can stay
- 38:52and we could be the commercent curmudgeon and and be unhappy all the time,
- 38:54and we'll still be that way in spirit, and we'll still be that way
- 38:58we come into the next lifetime, or we can recognize how much we're evolving,
- 39:02because we're evolving so much that we may not see it all from this
- 39:07lifetime, but we're gonna see it in our next lifetime when we all come
- 39:09back together. Because I believe that we do come together as in our same
- 39:14spirit families because we have growth, but we also get to see how much
- 39:17we've grown because a lot of the stuff we're carrying, Like I see my
- 39:22grandson, he matches, so he and I'm reading information. So I tell
- 39:27people kind of you don't have to believe in signs and all that stuff and
- 39:30the horoscopes and all that stuff, but look at some of the descriptions of
- 39:36things and see what information kind of gives you a kind of a map or
- 39:39a layout of that child or that person that you have in your experience,
- 39:44because that gives you an idea of how to Oh oh, so he's super
- 39:47sensitive, Like I'm seeing that he's sensitive, and he in words matter and
- 39:52it's black and white, and it's need structure and like all these certain things.
- 39:55And he's the earth stegn just like I am. So it's like we
- 39:59understand each other and diferent way that maybe mom's a water sign and maybe she's
- 40:02gonna be maybe it's a little bit different for her. She's a lot more
- 40:05emotion. But he has a tendency because he's sensitive to match the energies that
- 40:08are around him. And so I'm trying because I'm learning. So what you
- 40:14what you've taught me before, teach what you want to know, right teach
- 40:16what you want to have an understanding of it doesn't mean and because as you're
- 40:21doing it, you learn while you're doing these things. So I'm teaching him
- 40:23and I get to learn at the same time. So it's my opportunity.
- 40:28I can or I can't, or I can be looking at it from a
- 40:30control perspective, But from my perspective, I'm just like, well, you
- 40:34can be miserable right now. I'm going to be over here, so whenever
- 40:37you whenever you want to come play, I'll be sitting over here and I'm
- 40:40and we don't know until we know. So it's like I've been going on
- 40:43to Instagram, so Instagram nicely. It's been putting up videos of how parents
- 40:49talk to kids and and what they're hearing, and it's and it's the same
- 40:51thing that I think we started talking about it like last year or whenever.
- 40:54It's like redefining what the what the words mean, or changing the like you
- 41:00said, pivot. I like that. I like that a lot because I
- 41:02don't I don't have any emotional attachment to that word. I don't have any
- 41:07I don't have any defensiveness to that word. You know, there's nothing there.
- 41:10So it's like it's really recognizing a lot of that stuff then and choosing
- 41:14to talk to them a little bit differently instead of saying, well, you
- 41:16can't have that right now. Well, right now it's this time, but
- 41:20maybe we can have the opportunity for that later on. It's your choice.
- 41:24Well we can go to that birthday party when you decide to go ahead and
- 41:28get ready, and then we'll go at that time. It's instead of us
- 41:30being like, we need to go right now, it's time. No,
- 41:34we'll just we'll either show up late to the birthday party because we're putting the
- 41:37choice into their hands instead of us being adults and then not knowing how to
- 41:42make choices, not knowing how to move forward because we're looking for someone to
- 41:45tell us what to do. Well, my mom's not here to tell me
- 41:47what to do anymore, not in a physical plane, right she's not.
- 41:52And I have leaned on that. There's been so many times I wanted to
- 41:54go back and have a conversation with her or ask her about things or or
- 42:00whatever. But it's come I had the question, and that's leaning on something
- 42:04else. But now I've got the question inside of me, and that question
- 42:07has I've asked, and then the information maybe it shows up from Instagram,
- 42:10maybe it shows up for Mame, maybe it shows up from Freeman, or
- 42:14maybe it shows up for my grandkids or even my daughters, you know,
- 42:17or or a conversation I overhear it at Safeway, you know what I mean.
- 42:22It's like all these things. So it's we man, This conversation has
- 42:24just gone all over, covering so much stuff. Spirit's fricking awesome, That's
- 42:30all I can say. Because Spirit gives us so much information to share because
- 42:35I all I do, and I say Spirit, but it's like it's God,
- 42:37really, because everything is God. That's just me. That's where I'm
- 42:42at, unapologetically. It's just the way it is nice and I love it.
- 42:47Well. The other thing I think about with your grandson, because he
- 42:50has a little brother now, right, Yes, yeah, we love whatever.
- 42:53He's whatever. You're the older grandson is learning right now the effect that
- 43:00we'll have on his little brother, yes, and that him by learning these
- 43:05tools that Grandma is sharing with him, he's going to share that with his
- 43:09little brother as he's experiencing these different things, and and that just the ripple
- 43:16effect. And like you said, it's not it's it's affecting now, but
- 43:21the ripple effect of generations to come that we're shifting that and being a piece
- 43:28of that momentum. Yeah, it just like it just gets me excited.
- 43:37I just like what I just you know, then it makes you just want
- 43:39to live forever just to see how that unfolds. But I mean we do
- 43:42live forever in a different way. We will be biliness to it in a
- 43:45different way, but just to I know, we'll be around long enough to
- 43:52why I feel like we will be around long enough to see or hear about
- 43:59some of those moments where about their interactions together, So that'll be interesting and
- 44:06uh fun to witness. Yeah, it's awesome. It's all of It's awesome.
- 44:14All of our nowl is right because for me, everything is right now.
- 44:16Everything, everything that we're doing is right now, all on our what
- 44:22we perceive as our past, our future, our other selves. It's all
- 44:27right now, all of it. And it's like our kids, Like I
- 44:30look at our kids, there are just more aspects of us because we're all
- 44:34aspects of God. Right, So it's like we're all how can we be
- 44:37mad or angry? It's just allowing them to be in that space because I
- 44:42can I can think, gosh, how did my mom? How did my
- 44:45mom handle me? Seriously? Really, because there was so much and thankfully
- 44:51I never hurt anybody physically. I mean never to the point where they there
- 44:54was no comeback or whatever from things, because I did get in some fights
- 44:58when I was a kid, but it was that's what it is. Yeah,
- 45:05it was quite a learning experience. I was on. Yeah, I
- 45:07have a lot of anger at me so I my teenage years that was not
- 45:10a pleasant person. And I can't even imagine what my mom wents there,
- 45:16which is interesting. I see kids like at the ballpark and stuff like that,
- 45:20and I see how some of the adults really like target or like kind
- 45:22of come in and talk to them and guide them, and I and I
- 45:27it's something that I could have used. I think you probably could have used.
- 45:30So it's just making sure that don't give up on the kids, like
- 45:32take the time to have a conversation with them, or take the time to
- 45:37notice the things that you see in them that are so awesome and help that
- 45:39grow because those things, man, that can keep a kid out of trouble,
- 45:45that can change their I feel like it could have changed my whole process,
- 45:49and it's not maybe something for me to happen in this lifetime, it'll
- 45:52be something in another lifetime, because it's already we're already in that process.
- 45:55You know, when you see other families and someone that's intuitive and mediumistic and
- 46:02have all these natural abilities, they come into a family with parents and stuff
- 46:07that have all those abilities too, so then they're able to grow through.
- 46:09And I feel like the more that we shed a lot of the stuff,
- 46:13and not saying that we all want to be mediums and everything like that,
- 46:15but when we shed all the stuff, we allow such a different dynamics and
- 46:19our flow and we get to be that which everybody else gets to view and
- 46:24see how things could be different. So it's like it's an awesome thing.
- 46:29And it's not because the work was never done. It's because the work was
- 46:31done. It's because we did walk through it and we didn't kind of keep
- 46:34stuffing it. We decided to look at the emotions and find out who we
- 46:38really are and be our true authentic selves. Yeah, I think that's a
- 46:45good place to leave this conversation. That was awesome, And as always,
- 46:53our goal is to share this information, have these conversations these These are our
- 47:00therapeutic sessions every week and it's for the benefit of Bev and I. It's
- 47:07a it's a reminder for us, it's a it's a sharing of what's working
- 47:12what's not working in our own lives. And then this these are recorded conversations
- 47:17that are very organic, and we bring this to the public to see,
- 47:22you know, does this resonate with you or not? And if it does,
- 47:27then implement something you learned today, something that you heard, something that
- 47:30felt good, something that gave you those those god bumps or goosebumps, and
- 47:36that you felt that like in your heart, that this matters to me and
- 47:40this is important for me to implement and the ideas to implement it, to
- 47:45learn it, to make it a habit and be an example. You don't
- 47:49have to go out and teach it or or or you know, tell people
- 47:55what to do. It's be the example. And if people ask, then
- 48:00share the information, have the conversations, and then if this is something that
- 48:06you feel is beneficial, then share the content in a way of share the
- 48:12video, share the recordings, have them, go subscribe to our channel and
- 48:19help other people. That's what we're here to do, is to help each
- 48:22other move through this life and to help us learn and grow. So don't
- 48:27keep us a secret, don't keep the information to yourself, share it.
- 48:32And we're located on many platforms. We're on YouTube, Facebook, iHeartRadio,
- 48:40Google podcasts, podcast addic I know there's another one that oh spreaker. So
- 48:50we have many channels where we can be accessed. So with that, we
- 48:55want to thank you so much for taking your time to listen in and that
- 49:01time is very valuable for all of us. And so just the idea that
- 49:06you took the time to listen and what you do with this information hopefully is
- 49:10for the best, and we just hope that you continue to learn and grow
- 49:15in whatever way that is for yourself. So do you have any other final
- 49:21words? Bev, have a magnificent week. Yes, all right, my
- 49:28friends, thanks for hanging out with tea time with Amy and Bev, and
- 49:30we will see you next time.
