- 0:02Beings of the vital world in many cases interact with and act
- 0:06upon the material world in which we live and act as embodied
- 0:10beings. What is the attraction?
- 0:14Vital beings generally crave energy, excitement, novelty, the
- 0:19food of their existence. If they are seeking to harvest
- 0:24such energy from human beings, they look for individuals who
- 0:27can provide them sustenance with less cost and risk, as do
- 0:32predatory species we see in the world.
- 0:36Spiritual seekers tend to have more openness generally and less
- 0:40resistance to non material forces and thus can become
- 0:45easier prey for the vital beings to feast upon.
- 0:49Add to this various types of confusion and basic ignorance
- 0:53about the functioning of these non material forces and beings
- 0:58and we have a recipe for spiritual aspirants to be turned
- 1:02into prey. In some cases, there may be
- 1:06beings in the vital world who become dissatisfied with the
- 1:09limitations of their lives and who want to participate in the
- 1:13evolution. While this may be more rare
- 1:17given the nature of these beings, it can occur.
- 1:22In some cases the vital beings use a spiritual cloak to attract
- 1:26individuals, and this then is simply an act of pure deception.
- 1:31Thus we may find that some beings take on the shape or form
- 1:35of a religious leader or even an angelic being of some sort in
- 1:40order to capture the gullible and get them to do what they are
- 1:44bidding to be done. They take on a dynamic,
- 1:49charismatic form, pretend to be great masters, and then either
- 1:54entertain themselves or treat their followers as food.
- 2:00They have no sincerity, no respect for those they capture,
- 2:05and no interest in actual spiritual progress.
- 2:08In such cases, the Mother describes various circumstances
- 2:13in response to his disciples question, A disciple inquires,
- 2:20You have said that these beings of the vital world are attracted
- 2:23by the spiritual life. Why?
- 2:26The Mother responds, quote, They are attracted, but this does not
- 2:32mean that they have decided sincerely to follow the
- 2:35spiritual life. The chief characteristic of
- 2:39these beings is falsehood. Their nature is made of deceit.
- 2:44They have a power for illusion. They can take the appearance of
- 2:47divine beings or higher beings. They can appear in a dazzling
- 2:52light. But truly sincere people are not
- 2:55deceived. They immediately feel something
- 2:59that warns them. But if one likes the marvelous,
- 3:03the unexpected, if one loves fantastic things, if one likes
- 3:08to live a romance, one is likely to be easily deceived.
- 3:14Not long ago there was a historical instance, that of
- 3:18Hitler, who was in contact with the being whom he considered to
- 3:22be the Supreme. This being came and gave him
- 3:25advice, told him all that he had to do.
- 3:29Hitler used to retire into solitude and remained there as
- 3:33long as it was necessary to come into contact with his guide and
- 3:38receive from him inspirations which he carried out later very
- 3:42faithfully. This being which Hitler took for
- 3:46the Supreme was quite plainly an Asura, one who is called the
- 3:50Lord of falsehood in occultism, but who proclaimed himself the
- 3:55Lord of the nations. He had a shining appearance.
- 3:59He could mislead anybody except one who really had occult
- 4:02knowledge and could see what was there behind the appearance.
- 4:07Generally he used to appear to Hitler wearing a silver kuras
- 4:11and helmet. A kind of flame came out of his
- 4:14head and there was an atmosphere of dazzling light around him, so
- 4:18dazzling that Hitler could hardly look at him.
- 4:22He used to tell Hitler everything that had to be done.
- 4:25He played with him as with a monkey or a mouse.
- 4:29He had decided clearly to make Hitler commit all possible
- 4:32extravagances till the day he would break his neck, which did
- 4:37happen. But cases like this are
- 4:40frequent, though on a smaller scale.
- 4:42Of course Hitler was a very good medium.
- 4:47He had great mediumistic capacities, but he lacked
- 4:52intelligence and discrimination. This being could tell him
- 4:56anything whatever, and he swallowed it all.
- 5:00It was he who pushed Hitler little by little, and he was
- 5:04doing this as a distraction. He did not take life seriously
- 5:09for these beings. Men are very tiny things with
- 5:12whom they play as a cat plays with a mouse, till finally they
- 5:18eat them up. End Quote Reference Sri
