- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on sevenoo Hey, well,
- 0:11Speaker 2: we got a lot to go over here. We'll get
- 0:13Speaker 2: to the Mom Donnie Trump meeting, what that was all about.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We'll get to the media myths that they create all weekend,
- 0:20Speaker 2: like Marjorie Taylor Green and illegal orders to the military,
- 0:25Speaker 2: and the Ukraine deal and all of that. We'll get
- 0:28Speaker 2: to the Thanksgiving Day parade. This is the week Thursday.
- 0:32Speaker 2: The weather doesn't look so good. It looks like high
- 0:34Speaker 2: winds are possible on Thursday. It's a little too early
- 0:37Speaker 2: to be sure, but if the winds are that high,
- 0:40Speaker 2: that means they lower the balloons down shorter ropes and
- 0:44Speaker 2: not quite the same. It never looks as good like
- 0:47Speaker 2: the floater, like just five feet above the ground. It
- 0:50Speaker 2: doesn't look right. But again it's only Monday. Things can change.
- 0:56Speaker 2: So the Mom Donnie meeting, well, you gotta remember it.
- 1:02Speaker 2: With Donald Trump, it's all a brilliant strategy. It's very, very,
- 1:08Speaker 2: very strategic. And it looked like, boy, they just hit
- 1:12Speaker 2: it off. He was so friendly. They were like, it
- 1:15Speaker 2: was like this bromance. It was. But remember that's always
- 1:18Speaker 2: how he does. The first meeting. That's what he did
- 1:20Speaker 2: with Putin. You remember that first meeting in Alaska, boy
- 1:23Speaker 2: where a friendly It was a love fest. He always
- 1:26Speaker 2: says that in the first meeting he's got a whole strategy,
- 1:29Speaker 2: which don't try to figure it out. It's four dimensional chests.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Only he understands it. If you ask him to explain
- 1:35Speaker 2: it to you, and he does, he's leaving out half
- 1:37Speaker 2: of it. I mean, it's very, very, very strategic. So
- 1:43Speaker 2: and I mean I've noticed one thing he's learned how
- 1:45Speaker 2: to do good cop, bad cop by himself look in
- 1:49Speaker 2: different meetings. So this was good cop. It went very well.
- 1:54Speaker 2: There were a couple I know some of the strategy
- 1:57Speaker 2: that was going on there. I don't know the negotiating
- 2:00Speaker 2: strategy of It's like like with a fish, like you
- 2:03Speaker 2: let the line out, let him swim a little, then
- 2:05Speaker 2: you reel it back in, then you'll let it out again,
- 2:07Speaker 2: then you're reeling back in. So he's doing that with
- 2:10Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Now it was Mom Donnie that asked for
- 2:13Speaker 2: the meeting, not Trump. You know, they talked about meeting
- 2:17Speaker 2: at some point, but dude, it seemed to happen very quickly.
- 2:20Speaker 2: But it was Mom Donnie that wanted this meeting, and
- 2:24Speaker 2: he went to a couple of people who knew friends
- 2:27Speaker 2: of Trump, and they broke at the meeting. They arranged
- 2:32Speaker 2: for this meeting. Mom Donnie used whatever connections he could
- 2:37Speaker 2: find to set up this meeting, and his team flew
- 2:41Speaker 2: down to Washington, and the crazy media gave him flack
- 2:45Speaker 2: about flying. Why didn't you take the train? What's the
- 2:48Speaker 2: difference whether he flew or took the train. Trump, as
- 2:52Speaker 2: he did a number of times, jumped in to defend
- 2:54Speaker 2: him from these nasty questions. He said, Hey, the guy's busy.
- 2:57Speaker 2: The guy's putting together a whole administration. He's busy. They
- 3:00Speaker 2: have time to take the train. So he flew down. Now,
- 3:07Speaker 2: part of the deal was Trump agreed to the meeting,
- 3:09Speaker 2: but Mam Donnie was told not to push any of
- 3:12Speaker 2: his leftist agenda during any press conference it might take place.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So he was very careful not to do that. But
- 3:18Speaker 2: he had agreed ahead of time not to do that. Now,
- 3:22Speaker 2: Trump does want to continue with the deportation plans get
- 3:25Speaker 2: the illegals out, but he wanted to show Mom Donnie
- 3:29Speaker 2: it's nothing personally, He's not hostile to him personally, and
- 3:33Speaker 2: that he will give him a chance. He's not just
- 3:35Speaker 2: gonna come running in with National Guard and ice. He's
- 3:38Speaker 2: gonna give Mom Donnie as much of a chance as possible.
- 3:43Speaker 2: The other purpose of the meeting, Trump is trying to
- 3:46Speaker 2: sow some discord in the Democratic Party. He's trying to
- 3:50Speaker 2: create a little war in the Democratic Party. By getting
- 3:54Speaker 2: very chummy with Mom Donnie and having Mom Donnie appear
- 3:58Speaker 2: to be very chummy with him, is to stir up
- 4:02Speaker 2: a little trouble among Democrats and the Socialists, and seems
- 4:06Speaker 2: to be working. Also, remember Trump always loves to be unpredictable.
- 4:12Speaker 2: If everybody's expecting a fight, you won't get a fight.
- 4:15Speaker 2: If they think everything's gonna be wonderful, he'll give you
- 4:17Speaker 2: a fight. So it was very good. They talked about
- 4:22Speaker 2: in the press currents that they had a shared purpose
- 4:25Speaker 2: and they both wanted the same things, and you know
- 4:27Speaker 2: they could argue about how to get it. Jessica Tish
- 4:32Speaker 2: staying on was a key thing. Trump mentioned that said,
- 4:35Speaker 2: he and his family very close to Jessica Tish. They
- 4:38Speaker 2: like her. Then, you know, it's funny, Mam Donnie stits
- 4:40Speaker 2: talking about affordability building housing, affordability building house, Ma'm Donnie
- 4:44Speaker 2: as if this is his big mission in life is
- 4:47Speaker 2: to build this housing, is affordabilding. Now here's a guy,
- 4:50Speaker 2: Ma'm Donnie, was twelve years old, never had a job
- 4:52Speaker 2: in his life. He's sitting next to a guy who's
- 4:54Speaker 2: built hundreds of thousands of houses, literally low income houses.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You know, the Trump family business. Actually one of the
- 5:02Speaker 2: biggest parts of it is the low income housing Brooklyn
- 5:04Speaker 2: and Queens, started by his grandfather and his father and
- 5:07Speaker 2: Trump ran that business for years. It's still part of
- 5:10Speaker 2: the Trump organization, but they operate like seventy five thousand
- 5:13Speaker 2: middle class, low income, middle income houses in Brooklyn and Queens.
- 5:18Speaker 2: So when it comes to affordable housing, Trump Trump has
- 5:22Speaker 2: an incredible track record, Mom Donnie, it's just a dream.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's just a pipe dream of his. And if you
- 5:28Speaker 2: were talking about building housing, if you needed a house built,
- 5:34Speaker 2: you needed a house built, who would you go to,
- 5:35Speaker 2: Mom Donnie and his team of wacky socialists or would
- 5:40Speaker 2: you go to Trump, who has the Trump Organization and
- 5:43Speaker 2: one hundred thousand people ready to go to build anything
- 5:45Speaker 2: you want anytime. So it was kind of funny Mom
- 5:49Speaker 2: Donnie explaining housing to Trump. But okay, but again, the
- 5:53Speaker 2: shared goals are there, they want We're going to work together.
- 5:56Speaker 2: We're going to make sure that if they're horrible people there,
- 5:59Speaker 2: we want to get them out.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I think he wants to get him out, maybe more
- 6:01Speaker 1: than I do, so we'll work together.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, if you got bad people, criminal illegals, you want
- 6:06Speaker 2: to get him out first, Mom Donnie. It went very well.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I appreciated the meeting with the President, and as he said,
- 6:12Speaker 1: it was a productive meeting focused on a place of
- 6:15Speaker 1: shared admiration and love, which is New York City.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah. They both He's talking about New York, not each other.
- 6:20Speaker 2: They both share in love New York.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I think you're going to have, hopefully a really great mayor.
- 6:24Speaker 2: The better he does, the happier I am.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I will say, there's no difference in party, there's no
- 6:30Speaker 1: difference in anything.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And we're going to be helping him.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Now. Everybody's been living in terror, the idea of Mom
- 6:34Speaker 2: Donnie taking over January first as mayor of New York.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Everybody's talking about fleeing, leaving, moving at So this was
- 6:41Speaker 2: kind of reassuring to people and for a lot of
- 6:44Speaker 2: these people. When Trump says, you know what, he might
- 6:46Speaker 2: be good, he might be very well. That calms people down.
- 6:49Speaker 2: So it did a lot a lot to calm people down.
- 6:51Speaker 3: We had a meeting today that actually surprised me.
- 6:54Speaker 1: He wants to see no crime, he wants to see
- 6:57Speaker 1: housing being built, he wants to see rensk down.
- 7:00Speaker 3: All things that I agree with.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I know it might be differences about ideology, but the
- 7:04Speaker 1: place of agreement is the work that needs to be
- 7:06Speaker 1: done to make New York City affordable.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So it was a very important meeting as far as
- 7:10Speaker 2: calming people down. Also, you know, if you take care
- 7:13Speaker 2: of crime, that's the one thing that came out of
- 7:15Speaker 2: there that he will try to keep New York safe.
- 7:18Speaker 2: As long as the crime is down and New York
- 7:20Speaker 2: is safe, that's ninety nine percent of it. That fixes everything,
- 7:23Speaker 2: that keeps people here, that keeps tourists coming, which is
- 7:26Speaker 2: a big source of revenue income, that keeps people New
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yorker's out shopping, going out doing stuff, spending money. The
- 7:33Speaker 2: economy booms long as crime is down. So we'll get
- 7:37Speaker 2: back to the mom Donnie meeting. Hey, let me just
- 7:40Speaker 2: clear up something. If you're watching these crazy Sunday shows,
- 7:44Speaker 2: if you watch the Sunday shows, you will have no idea,
- 7:45Speaker 2: what the hell's going on in the world. They just
- 7:47Speaker 2: lie to you and conjure up all sorts of nonsense.
- 7:50Speaker 2: So a big theme of the Sunday Show and all
- 7:52Speaker 2: this MSNBC and all this is the huge breakup of
- 7:58Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green and Donald Trump. What an incredible breakup
- 8:01Speaker 2: there amazing rift that said, first of all, this is
- 8:05Speaker 2: all fiction. Donald Trump had absolutely no connection to Marjorie
- 8:09Speaker 2: Taylor Green. He had nothing to do with Marjorie Taylor
- 8:12Speaker 2: Green nothing. There was no relationship of any kind. There's
- 8:16Speaker 2: no breakup. She's in Congress, he's in the White House
- 8:20Speaker 2: once in a while, a couple times a year for
- 8:23Speaker 2: some reason or other, at some event or something. They'd
- 8:25Speaker 2: be in the same room, and he was always very
- 8:28Speaker 2: cordial to her. Otherwise, they had zero relationship. Out of
- 8:33Speaker 2: all the people in Congress, the one he has no
- 8:35Speaker 2: relationship with was Marjorie Taylor Green. There's some people in
- 8:39Speaker 2: Congress he's pretty close to, you know, like Pennsylvania's new
- 8:42Speaker 2: Senator Dave McCormick. Trump calls them all the time. They
- 8:45Speaker 2: talk a lot. He invites him to the White House
- 8:47Speaker 2: all the time, not just all the state dinners, but
- 8:50Speaker 2: every couple of weeks he has Dave McCormick come up
- 8:52Speaker 2: and they have dinner. Mike Johnson, same thing. If you
- 8:55Speaker 2: look at these state dinners and events, Trump invites people.
- 9:00Speaker 2: But if you also look at the private dinners he's
- 9:01Speaker 2: been holding, there's a lot of people in Congress that
- 9:04Speaker 2: he's invited to these private dinners all the time. Never
- 9:07Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green. He's never had any relationship of any
- 9:10Speaker 2: kind with her, So they try to make it look
- 9:12Speaker 2: like this incredible rift breakup. They don't even know each other.
- 9:16Speaker 2: She announced she's leaving, she's dropping out. She's decided to
- 9:20Speaker 2: leave on principal. The principle is she knows she can't win.
- 9:25Speaker 2: He's not going to support her. He's going to support
- 9:27Speaker 2: the opponent, so she got no shot, So she's leaving.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I have too much self respect and dignity. I love
- 9:33Speaker 4: my family way too much, and I do not want
- 9:36Speaker 4: my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and
- 9:39Speaker 4: hateful primary.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Okay, well, all right, that's good.
- 9:43Speaker 4: It's all so absurd and completely unseerious. I refuse to
- 9:47Speaker 4: be a battered wife, hoping it all goes away and
- 9:50Speaker 4: gets better. Hi, everyone, I've always represented the common American
- 9:56Speaker 4: man and woman as a member of the House of Representatives,
- 9:59Speaker 4: which is why.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Now the problem is where does she go. You know,
- 10:05Speaker 2: if you're suddenly a Trump hater, you usually want to
- 10:08Speaker 2: go to MSNBC. But she yang. You can't have that
- 10:11Speaker 2: haced County fair sound at MSNBC. They're too highbrow for that.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I don't think she's even sophisticated enough to be on
- 10:19Speaker 2: the view. I don't think Fox has much use for her.
- 10:22Speaker 2: She's not a great policy analyst or anything. So I
- 10:25Speaker 2: don't know what the hell she's going to do. She
- 10:28Speaker 2: does have a successful business, she and her husband. I
- 10:31Speaker 2: think it's a family business. It's a construction business or
- 10:34Speaker 2: something like that. Successful business woman, so she could continue
- 10:38Speaker 2: to do that. Otherwise, again, no rift with Trump. He
- 10:41Speaker 2: had nothing to do with her, no relationship with her whatsoever.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The other fake story all weekend is that ridiculous video
- 10:50Speaker 2: that these people in Congress put out telling the military, Look,
- 10:57Speaker 2: if you receive an illegal order, we have your back.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Don't worry if you get you know, they ran this
- 11:02Speaker 2: thing everywhere. They picked some people in Congress that had
- 11:05Speaker 2: minor military service. That was they always used that for cover.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You know, John Kerry was the most famous one, and
- 11:13Speaker 2: when he ran for president in two thousand and four,
- 11:15Speaker 2: he had very, very minor military service in Vietnam. He
- 11:17Speaker 2: was in Vietnam for a couple of months. He got
- 11:21Speaker 2: the hell out of there as soon as he could.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It was only there like two months. But he made
- 11:27Speaker 2: it sound like he was General Patton, like he was
- 11:29Speaker 2: a major military figure, and he ran against Bush on
- 11:32Speaker 2: his military experience. His military experience was twenty three years earlier.
- 11:37Speaker 2: For two months he was in Vietnam. Bush, on the
- 11:39Speaker 2: other end, for the past four years had been the
- 11:41Speaker 2: commander in chief of the entire US military. So obviously
- 11:45Speaker 2: when it came to military experience, Bush won easily on
- 11:47Speaker 2: that one. But these people are putting out these videos
- 11:50Speaker 2: about the illegal orders, while we familiar now that's a
- 11:54Speaker 2: whole made up controversy. Nobody has ever heard of any
- 11:57Speaker 2: illegal order anywhere involving this administration, the last administration, the
- 12:02Speaker 2: administration before it. The last illegal order, I guess it'd
- 12:07Speaker 2: be nineteen sixty eight, the Melai massacre. Remember that they
- 12:11Speaker 2: massacred some civilians in Vietnam. But that's what is that
- 12:14Speaker 2: sixty years ago sixty years ago. You have to go
- 12:18Speaker 2: back that there's no such thing as illegal orders going around.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's a whole fake controversy, and it was carefully calculated
- 12:25Speaker 2: to get the President to over respond. The media would
- 12:28Speaker 2: jump all over it. However, even the Sunday shows, which
- 12:32Speaker 2: are totally corrupt, would ask these people in they have mine,
- 12:36Speaker 2: could you name an example of an illegal order? There's
- 12:39Speaker 2: no such thing.
- 12:39Speaker 3: But I am not aware of things that are illegal.
- 12:42Speaker 3: But certainly there are some legal gymnastics that are going
- 12:45Speaker 3: on with these Caribbean strikes and everything related to Venezuela.
- 12:49Speaker 2: No, there are.
- 12:50Speaker 3: The reason we put that statement out is because the
- 12:52Speaker 3: sheer number of frankly young officers who are coming to
- 12:55Speaker 3: us and saying, I just am not sure. What do
- 12:58Speaker 3: I do? You know, I'm in South Kanin and I'm
- 13:01Speaker 3: involved in the National Guard. I'm just not sure what
- 13:04Speaker 3: do I do?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Now? This is complete nonsense. He's making them up. There's
- 13:07Speaker 2: no young military people calling represent Congresswoman Slot what do
- 13:11Speaker 2: I do. There's nobody in the National Guard calling up Sloti. Hey,
- 13:15Speaker 2: I started to bother you, well, what do I do?
- 13:17Speaker 2: There's nobody asking that it's all made up? Do you well,
- 13:20Speaker 2: this is that old hag Martha raddits.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Do you believe President Trump has issued any illegal orders?
- 13:27Speaker 3: To my knowledge, I am not aware of things that
- 13:30Speaker 3: are illegal, but certainly there are some legal gymnastics that
- 13:34Speaker 3: are going on with these Caribbean strikes and everything related
- 13:37Speaker 3: to Venezuela.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So it's a good idea. I guess they got away
- 13:41Speaker 2: with it. I mean only because the media is so corrupt.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You make up a whole fake controversy and then if
- 13:46Speaker 2: anybody asked you for an example, well, uh, at this point,
- 13:50Speaker 2: I'm not aware. At this point of you make it
- 13:53Speaker 2: look like it's a possibility. It's not even a possibility.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It's all nonsense. But when you got corrupt media, you
- 13:59Speaker 2: can get with stuff like this. Hey, coming up, we'll
- 14:03Speaker 2: do it in the next hour. Trump derangement syndrome, you know,
- 14:08Speaker 2: we call it that Trump derangement syndrome. These Trump haters,
- 14:11Speaker 2: they go insane when you bring up Trump. They start
- 14:14Speaker 2: ranting and raving, they start fuming when you bring up Trump.
- 14:17Speaker 2: The hatred. Oh this so it got the nickname Trump
- 14:21Speaker 2: derangement syndrome. It turns out it's a real thing. Psychologists
- 14:25Speaker 2: psychiatrists have declared it an actual illness. There's one great
- 14:30Speaker 2: psychiatrist I forget his name, but he wrote a op
- 14:33Speaker 2: ed about a week ago in the Wall Street Journals
- 14:35Speaker 2: saying it's a very serious disease, Trump de arrangement syndrome,
- 14:39Speaker 2: and he's been treating it. So the guy's been getting
- 14:43Speaker 2: death threads, bomb threads. But it's a real thing now.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Another one of our great psychologists, doctor Keith Ablow, will
- 14:50Speaker 2: have him on in the next hour, because he's been
- 14:52Speaker 2: studying Trump derangement syndrome. It's been coming up I guess
- 14:57Speaker 2: with his patients and in his practice, and normally things
- 15:01Speaker 2: come up in your practice, like you know, a patient says,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I get a little depressed at Thanksgiving. Well I don't
- 15:07Speaker 2: really like thanks that's a little thing. But he started
- 15:10Speaker 2: to notice with this Trump arrangements and it's not a
- 15:12Speaker 2: little thing. It's like a major major So we'll go,
- 15:15Speaker 2: we'll we'll talk to an expert on what it is,
- 15:17Speaker 2: how to cure it. Also, maybe he'll give us some
- 15:19Speaker 2: advice because you're probably going to a Thanksgiving dinner what
- 15:23Speaker 2: to do with the crazy, kooky left wing nut job
- 15:27Speaker 2: relatives who have Trumped arrangement syndrome and we'll get to that.
- 15:32Speaker 2: We've got all these TV screens. One of them is MSNBC,
- 15:36Speaker 2: which is no longer. It's now called ms now. They
- 15:39Speaker 2: were thrown out of the NBC building. NBC got rid
- 15:43Speaker 2: of the company, spunted off. They don't want anything to
- 15:45Speaker 2: do with MSNBC. Then they told them take our name
- 15:48Speaker 2: off it. It's now called ms NOW, and then they
- 15:51Speaker 2: threw them out of the building. They've been evicted. They're
- 15:53Speaker 2: now in a little studio in Times Square. So I'm
- 15:55Speaker 2: watching it. You know, nowadays the set is big TV
- 16:00Speaker 2: screens behind you. It's digital, so you can take a
- 16:03Speaker 2: picture of the old set and put it behind you,
- 16:05Speaker 2: so it looks like you're in the same place. But
- 16:07Speaker 2: if you ever watch it, notice you can tell they're
- 16:09Speaker 2: in a much much smaller room. You know, like when
- 16:13Speaker 2: you watch Morning Joe, that big round desk. They say
- 16:15Speaker 2: it was huge, like from one guy to the other
- 16:18Speaker 2: side of the desk was like twenty feet. Now it's
- 16:20Speaker 2: like three feet. Everything is smaller, tinier. They've been evicted. Also,
- 16:25Speaker 2: when they used to go to the correspondent in the
- 16:26Speaker 2: field in Paris, we switch now to our NBC News
- 16:31Speaker 2: correspondent in Paris, now they go to our MS now
- 16:35Speaker 2: correspondent and it's some third rate stringer, has nothing to
- 16:38Speaker 2: do with then network. So it got very cheap, very fast.
- 16:41Speaker 2: But see if you notice, Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
