- 9:29Yeah, buddy, Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brett Keen
- 9:34and you are watching and listening to a live Brett Keen
- 9:38show and yes, like usual to be on the radio.
- 9:41So if anybody comes in, make sure you behave yourself.
- 9:45Act proper, somewhat civilized, somewhat beyond and of all date
- 9:50and we'll do great. Just recently a YouTuber decided
- 9:55to throw a big old get together in New York and thousands of
- 10:00people showed up and a riot broke loose.
- 10:04And that YouTuber with over 4 million subscribers ended up
- 10:08getting in jail and they may charge him for inciting a riot.
- 10:14That's rough. Looks like we've got calm
- 10:16Drewski with those. Let's bring him into the pet.
- 10:23Hey, how's it hanging? Brett, hey, how you doing,
- 10:26Maine, Did you have a good time last show?
- 10:29Oh yeah, yeah, it's pretty fun. I got to say.
- 10:33To be honest, I don't really have a lot of friends.
- 10:35It's just nice to, you know, talk with somebody for a bit.
- 10:38I only talk with, you know, my best friend if he wants to watch
- 10:44anime for a couple hours. But we don't have a lot of.
- 10:49Interesting conversations. Well, I've got an interesting
- 10:53thing about that anime deal. I've noticed a lot of Youtubers,
- 10:57they like to do YouTube channels where their banners and avatars
- 11:02usually have like some sexualization of an anime
- 11:06cartoon. But I don't have a problem.
- 11:11I'm not a stiff or anything. I've been married for, you know,
- 11:1430 years and I know all about the love and but I don't
- 11:18understand some of this anime seems to appear to be younger
- 11:22people. Cartoons, if you get what I'm
- 11:24saying. Yeah, I guess so.
- 11:27All of that anime stuff is pretty ambiguous that yeah, it's
- 11:33it. Yeah, you say they appear
- 11:35younger, but then there's animes.
- 11:37I I've noticed that. I've watched where they look
- 11:40old. They look like maybe they're in
- 11:42their 20s, but it's like I'm in middle school, so it's just, you
- 11:45can never tell. No, not the no, no, no, I don't
- 11:50mean like that. I mean.
- 11:51You talking about like those anime, like the virtual?
- 11:56They're called V tubers, I believe.
- 11:58They look like they look like very underage girls and
- 12:02unfortunately these Youtubers like to do sexual type of images
- 12:08with that and I find that odd. That's not what you're into, are
- 12:12you? No, no, we've been watching.
- 12:15Jiu jitsu, Kaizen, demon, Slayer.
- 12:21They're like fighting animes, you know?
- 12:23Nothing to do with sexual stuff. There was one other thing you
- 12:27just mentioned that caught my Well, there was something you
- 12:31mentioned that caught my attention at rhymes, but you
- 12:35said that you don't have very many friends to talk to.
- 12:37How is that possible? I enjoyed the shit out of myself
- 12:41talking to you last time. You seem like a very laid back
- 12:44cool dude. What?
- 12:45What's up with that? I.
- 12:47Appreciate that very much, Brett.
- 12:49It's just, I don't know, I don't get out a lot.
- 12:53I just like to stay home and play video games.
- 12:56And you know, the friends I do have were high school friends,
- 12:59but my best friend, he he lives up north.
- 13:05Because, you know, I I mentioned I live in Milwaukee, he lives
- 13:07like past Green Day or like kind of near that area like so he's
- 13:12moved away and my other friend lives kind of far away and I
- 13:16guess my only other friend is basically my brother, but he's
- 13:21just my my little brother. He's just not very talky guy.
- 13:29All right, I get you. And also, I I recall you telling
- 13:33me that Milwaukee's the home of the serial killers, so it might
- 13:36be difficult to make some buddies out there, huh?
- 13:40Yeah, maybe. Maybe some of my previous high
- 13:42school friends were murdered. I don't know.
- 13:46That's rough. That's rough.
- 13:49So what do you been doing this week?
- 13:51You say you don't like to get out much.
- 13:52I'm the same way. It seems like when I get around
- 13:55people in real life, if it's strangers or whatever, I'll
- 14:00somehow manage to get myself into a bunch of damn trouble.
- 14:03I don't know why it is, but I just do better as a homebody.
- 14:07Besides, I'm an adult with kids at this point, so I got to do
- 14:11the whole civilized matter. Deal.
- 14:14Yeah, I actually. I met because I might have
- 14:17mentioned I'm I'm technically unemployed, but I had a meeting
- 14:21with my. New job yesterday and yeah, it
- 14:26went well and they just gave me the paperwork.
- 14:28I start on Monday, so that's going to be good.
- 14:31But I I do got to also say that I get in trouble whenever I go
- 14:36out. Because remember I mentioned I I
- 14:40moved to Istanbul for a little bit and before I did that, me
- 14:46and my friends were going out to bars all the time.
- 14:49And there was like, it was like one of, like the last week
- 14:53before I went to Istanbul. So I just got wrecked.
- 14:56And my buddy said he had to, like carry, like, kind of carry
- 15:01me like with his shoulder back. And we, we came across a bus
- 15:06full of midgets that were like getting onto a bus.
- 15:11And I was like, Oh my God, everybody look at the midgets.
- 15:15And one, one of the little people, he got offended.
- 15:18He's like, we're not called midgets and I'm like, yeah, you
- 15:21are and well, I don't remember that happening.
- 15:25But they've told me they. I've heard the story many times
- 15:29and it's probably happened. Got a question for you.
- 15:37I don't know if you've been noticing for the past month.
- 15:41I've been noticing a bunch of stuff trending on YouTube.
- 15:45Have you ever heard of a trans racial before?
- 15:49Oh yeah, isn't that? I know there's a meme of a
- 15:52certain lady like who like, darkened her complexion somehow,
- 15:57and she curled up her hair and she thinks she's black.
- 16:00I think that is ridiculous. I haven't heard anything about
- 16:04that recently. I remember hearing about that
- 16:06about maybe 5-6 years ago, but that is it's it's ridiculous.
- 16:14I don't get it. Well, there's been some videos
- 16:18out there. You should look this up, where
- 16:20apparently Caucasian people are doing surgery to make themselves
- 16:25look Asian and they're getting surgery around the eye area.
- 16:29And there's also this thing where a bunch of people have
- 16:34been coming out on video, the type of people that put tattoos
- 16:37all over their face and they're crying, saying I don't
- 16:41understand why people don't aren't attracted to me.
- 16:44There's a a person that got on TikTok and said something to the
- 16:47effect of and remember they look like Groot off The Avengers.
- 16:52You know, Groot is right. And they say they don't
- 16:55understand why people don't find them sexually attractive.
- 16:59What would you say to somebody like that that looks like a damn
- 17:01rock monster? Well.
- 17:04Yeah, obviously. Well, I I wouldn't really say
- 17:08anything to them. I would just avoid them.
- 17:12Because personally, I I just don't like people in general who
- 17:17care too much about appearance. Like women who wear too much
- 17:21makeup and they get all dolled up or like guys who wear like
- 17:25elaborate outfits and ooh, I gotta wear this certain style.
- 17:30But then what you're talking about, that goes to a whole
- 17:33nother level. And I just don't like those
- 17:36kinds of people. Like when me and my wife were
- 17:39together, she would put on a bunch of makeup and, you know,
- 17:43expect me to be like, oh, wow, you look so great.
- 17:46But I don't think she looks great with I I don't think
- 17:49anybody looks great with a bunch of makeup.
- 17:51Like I, I, and I just hate that people who care way too much
- 17:56about appearance. Well, I agree with you on that,
- 18:00because makeup is deceptive anyway.
- 18:03If a person feels like they got to clown themselves all up on a
- 18:07date or to get themselves into a relationship, sooner or later
- 18:11the inevitable is going to happen.
- 18:12You're going to probably sleep with them, and then you'll wake
- 18:15up, the makeups all smeared. They're looking like it from
- 18:18Stephen King. And you're like, what the hell
- 18:20did I get myself into, You know what I mean?
- 18:23Yeah, also I got to say, I know this is a massive contradiction,
- 18:27but you say when girls clown them, clown themselves up.
- 18:32I actually think, I don't know if you've seen this, but it's a
- 18:34thing on the Internet where the sexy clown girl, like where a
- 18:39girl dresses up in full clown makeup.
- 18:41She is like a clown outfit and she's all skimpy.
- 18:44I think that's really hot. I know it's a contradiction.
- 18:46It doesn't make sense, but well, I'm, I'm talking about a
- 18:50different type of clown, The creepy type of clown.
- 18:53You know, I've there's a you see these carnivals where people are
- 18:57all fruity, but if you're saying that she's actually prettied
- 19:01herself up with the clown flare to it, I can't hate on that.
- 19:07Well, yeah. Oh, there.
- 19:10There was a Facebook group on Facebook.
- 19:15It's called Clown Girl Honk Heaven, where like, girls just
- 19:19post sexy pictures of them as clowns.
- 19:21And I loved it. I loved it.
- 19:23But I don't know if if I were in a relationship with one of those
- 19:28girls and she dressed up like that every day, like to go out
- 19:31to the store, I probably wouldn't like that.
- 19:34But I don't know. I think the the sexy clown thing
- 19:38is sexy, but I I'm not sure about this scary clown thing
- 19:41you're talking about. Well, you've seen the spooky
- 19:44looking clown people, right? Yeah, well.
- 19:50Maybe not women. Because women, whenever they
- 19:53dress up, they're just trying to be slutty and sexy.
- 19:57And I guess that's kind of good, I guess.
- 19:59Well, there's these folks out there who I guess they tried to
- 20:04imitate something like Brandon Lee the Crow, and I guess they
- 20:08look like a mine from hell or something like that.
- 20:11Yeah, it's a big cultural thing, The Crow.
- 20:14So I'm glad you ended up leaving some comments in my channel,
- 20:18because I didn't know how to find your channel until you left
- 20:21the comments, because yeah, I don't know the same different
- 20:24channels. I'm sorry about that.
- 20:25Well, I checked out your channel and is your hair literally still
- 20:30that long or do you have a slick back or something?
- 20:32I just cut it. I cut it like.
- 20:36You had kind of a Highlander thing going, but I was watching
- 20:39your Resident Evil videos. Got some good quality videos.
- 20:43You're right. You put some time into that.
- 20:45Yeah, I actually, I one of those Resident Evil videos, my buddy,
- 20:50we were talking on Discord and I think that was the best video.
- 20:55Like when me and him are just riffing, we're talking about the
- 20:57game like he's watching the stream.
- 21:00But you know, we might talk about other things.
- 21:02That was just one video. But that's cool that you checked
- 21:06it out. Thanks man.
- 21:08Of course I told you in the live show that I thought you were
- 21:11interested so figured I'd check it out.
- 21:15You seem you said that you weren't doing so great on your
- 21:18channel. It's it doesn't seem like you're
- 21:20doing awful or anything. I think the problem is is you
- 21:24need to add more relevant tags to your videos in order to give
- 21:28you. That's about it.
- 21:31But yeah, if if you look at the because I have videos that go
- 21:36way back that built up some views, but it was over a long
- 21:40period of time. I I haven't tried on YouTube,
- 21:44like I just, I just did those Resident Evil 4 videos because I
- 21:49actually streamed those on Facebook.
- 21:52I streamed those on Facebook and I I recorded them and uploaded
- 21:57them to YouTube later. Because when when Facebook first
- 22:00had streaming, I I actually did really well, like I would have a
- 22:07couple 1000 people per stream because I was playing like the
- 22:12New Super Mario Odyssey came out on the Switch and I was
- 22:16streaming that and I was I was doing on stream like like these
- 22:21big challenges and I was doing pretty well.
- 22:24But you know, since then Facebook streaming has fell and
- 22:28it's not popular. Like, I think they might have
- 22:30discontinued some of the aspects of that, but I don't know why I
- 22:36stopped doing it. I think I got just too busy with
- 22:39work. It's just hard to do the work
- 22:42balance when you're trying to do something extra.
- 22:46How did you manage to stream your, You were saying it was a
- 22:51Nintendo Switch? Ohh yeah cuz with my PC I have a
- 22:57capture card and I just, you know, plug the HDMI into the
- 23:02capture card and I always have two screens.
- 23:05So like like there's there's an output where I can put it to
- 23:08another screen and yeah. So we got someone out here
- 23:15asking a gaming question. I don't know if are you able to
- 23:19see the screen Good. You gotta be on the.
- 23:22So people out there who may have a hard time seeing the text,
- 23:25I'll read it, it, says Brett and Drewski, do you have hopes for
- 23:29the upcoming Elder Scrolls title?
- 23:32I'll answer that question first. I don't think that you're going
- 23:35to see an Elder Scrolls title for many, many years.
- 23:38I think that they're putting all their efforts in The Elder
- 23:41Scrolls Online, which obviously is inferior compared to Skyrim
- 23:47and Oblivion and all that, so. I don't think for many years
- 23:50you'll see it. I keep don't if I might advise
- 23:55you all out there, especially the gamers.
- 23:57Be careful when you watch a lot of these click bait videos where
- 24:01they tell you they've got a leak something or they've got images
- 24:04of shit. People use AI and they can lie
- 24:08their ass off or use the Unreal Engine.
- 24:10They put up fake imagery so don't get all your hopes up.
- 24:17Well I would have to say I know Elder Scrolls 6 is taking a long
- 24:22time, but we have to remember that I forget the parent
- 24:28company, but Microsoft bought the parent company for whoever
- 24:33does Elder Scrolls, I forget the name.
- 24:35So I'm I'm thinking that it's it's going to take longer, extra
- 24:40long because they they were using an out of date game engine
- 24:47because like everybody talks about how Bethesda games are so
- 24:51buggy because they they've been using the same engine for like
- 24:5715 years or maybe longer. So I think if Microsoft bought
- 25:01them he's like they're they're like hey you gotta have an
- 25:05UpToDate modern game engine and and kind of have to redo
- 25:09everything. But I I think when Elder Scrolls
- 25:126 comes out, it's going to be good.
- 25:16Yeah, but it's going to be several years.
- 25:18I think that they're hoping. I think they're banking on
- 25:21Starfield being interesting enough to keep people's
- 25:25attention for a long, long period of time, but it just
- 25:29doesn't seem like there's a whole lot going on.
- 25:31I've seen a couple videos where they show clips of a mountain
- 25:34and they say they're going to do a game having to do with
- 25:37Hammerfell or some shit like that, and I don't know, I'm not
- 25:41really. I I'm not wanting to offend
- 25:44anyone out there, but I don't give a fuck about the Hammerfell
- 25:47lore. I like Skyrim and the Viking
- 25:49type of deal, but I don't give a shit about going and running
- 25:52around the desert. Yeah, see, my personal favorite
- 25:56was Oblivion. I I just thought it was so
- 25:59dynamic where a Hell's Gate would open up just out of
- 26:03nowhere. I know they put that in Elder
- 26:06Scrolls Online, so I'm hoping maybe for Elder Scrolls Six it
- 26:11could be cuz nothing is confirmed.
- 26:14Maybe it could be a new type of thing, just something new and
- 26:19interesting. That's what I'm hoping.
- 26:26But I mean, think about it. If you were releasing a big time
- 26:29game like Starfield, would you want to put other games out
- 26:33right away knowing that it may distract you from it?
- 26:37So yeah, I think that this, yeah, this, unfortunately, this
- 26:41person's going to be a fucking senior citizen before they see
- 26:44that game. Yeah, I I I would say when Elder
- 26:48Scrolls 6 finally comes out, it might not be for at least three
- 26:53years. We're gonna have to wait at
- 26:55least three years. But when it finally comes out, I
- 26:58think it's gonna be great. Also, remember there Drewski?
- 27:04I believe that Bethesda was bought up by Xbox or yeah, yeah,
- 27:09yeah, Microsoft bought Bethesda. And yeah, so Starfield's not
- 27:14gonna be on PlayStation. But I definitely appreciate that
- 27:20launch day. It's Xbox and PC.
- 27:23I love that about Microsoft. We got Lambo over here again, he
- 27:28says. Skyrim's here, Del Laura is
- 27:30epic. I really want them to explore
- 27:32elsewhere. I think that the only way you're
- 27:35going to be able to enjoy the Cat Land is to play Elder
- 27:39Scrolls Online. I've actually went to the
- 27:41conceit land. It's not a bad game.
- 27:44It's just. The problem I I guess when I'm
- 27:47playing Elder Scrolls Online, I don't know if you have ever
- 27:50played it, but the characters look like they're all the same
- 27:54age. They all have the same hairdos
- 27:56and it doesn't. And a lot of them use the same
- 27:59voice. And when you're doing an MMO,
- 28:01you're going to run into hundreds of thousands of
- 28:03characters that do quest with, and if they all look the same
- 28:06and sound the same, it kind of blows your immersion.
- 28:09Are you an immersive type of player?
- 28:13I I I guess so. I I try not to pay too much
- 28:18attention. I I try not to get too invested
- 28:21in the stories. But you know, I'll, I'll read
- 28:24the subtitles and I'll, I'll skip through the dialogue.
- 28:28But I I played Elder Scrolls Online a little bit maybe for
- 28:33just like a week or two, but it was after it's already been out.
- 28:38So I I don't know a lot about The Elder Scrolls lore, to be
- 28:42honest. I just know Patrick Stewart did
- 28:44a voice in Oblivion. That's pretty much all I know.
- 28:48Yeah, that was pretty cool. That was one of the big things
- 28:51that really caught me because I was totally, you know, eating up
- 28:54Star Trek. And then to hear Picard talking
- 28:57on there, I'm like, yeah, buddy. Oh, hold on, check this out.
- 29:00I got. I bought a book today.
- 29:02This is crazy. One second.
- 29:05All right. Got him a bunk, folks.
- 29:13Let's see what the I was at my local or when I went to go meet
- 29:19with that job. Check this out.
- 29:22Nobody has ever seen this. My brother saw this.
- 29:24He was like, what the fuck? Look at this Star Trek X-Men
- 29:31crossover. Wow.
- 29:36When they come up with that, I didn't even know they ever did
- 29:39something like that. Yeah, I think it was like, I, I
- 29:44don't know, like, Oh my God, it's the first printing was May
- 29:491998. That's that's probably when you
- 29:53know Star Trek, the Next Generation movie started
- 29:56happening and you know the X-Men were popular.
- 30:01Here, put it back up on the screen, but hold it closer to
- 30:04the camera. Let us see it.
- 30:06Oh wow, that's neat. Star Trek X then?
- 30:11Yeah, I'm sorry, my green screen is kind of messing.
- 30:13This is supposed to be a Professor X.
- 30:16But I just thought, this is funny because, you know, Patrick
- 30:20Stewart plays Professor X in the movie, but he's also Professor X
- 30:25in. He's also, you know, Picard and
- 30:28Star Trek. Yeah, my green screen is kind of
- 30:30messing with it, but it's like, what?
- 30:32I can't wait to read this. Is Wolverine going to fight Data
- 30:35or what? I don't know.
- 30:38Do you think would? Well, Wolverine can't die and
- 30:42Data can be tore up. But if David gets a hold of you,
- 30:45as strong as he is, he can tear somebody to pieces.
- 30:49Yeah. I'm not sure what he could do
- 30:51with that adamantium skeleton though.
- 30:53But I would think that Data wouldn't anticipate that
- 30:58Wolverine could heal like make cuz Data is strong.
- 31:01Maybe Data could somewhat incapacitate Wolverine, but
- 31:06Wolverine would heal and come back and fuck him up.
- 31:08That's what I would think. Well, Data has shown in the past
- 31:13that he has an ability to analyze, kind of scan someone's
- 31:17biology and all that. So he might go figure it out.
- 31:21Now remember, this too Data has kind of the advantage if the
- 31:25fight happens in space. Although Wolverine can resurrect
- 31:29himself and all that, there's not much he can do if he were to
- 31:32be like, you know, suck through a VAT and then put out in space,
- 31:36right? Yeah, I think if Wolverine were
- 31:40in space, he might like it wouldn't kill him, but he would
- 31:45be limited in some way. But we all know that it it just
- 31:51depends on where the fight takes place.
- 31:53Because there was one episode of Star Trek where Data just took
- 31:56control of the whole ship. He was being like, sent a
- 32:01program to go somewhere. So we but maybe Data just can
- 32:06like just open an airlock, like anywhere on the ship.
- 32:10And I don't know. Who knows?
- 32:13Well, he doesn't even have to do that.
- 32:15He can just teleport him out into space, you know.
- 32:18Oh yeah, O'Brien, teleport this guy out.
- 32:23Now, you said you've been trying to get a job and everything.
- 32:26If you could have your dream job, I mean anything that you
- 32:30wanted in life, what would it be?
- 32:32What would you like to do for a career?
- 32:35I would like to make movies, but I don't know.
- 32:41It's just weird with modern times because everything is so
- 32:45corporate now you need to like, oh, it's because, you know,
- 32:49people decades ago they could just, you know, build up a movie
- 32:53from nothing. But I think most people had some
- 32:57form of schooling, but that wasn't necessary.
- 33:00But I don't know, there are people who have had careers
- 33:04taken off online by, you know, short films and things that
- 33:09they've done. But, you know, they're not the
- 33:11biggest name directors today. But I I would love to direct
- 33:15movies. What kind of what kind of movie
- 33:20genre or style are you looking to do?
- 33:24Well, maybe scifi, but I guess because, you know, when you're a
- 33:29lowly director, you got to just do like dramas or something, low
- 33:36budget. But you know, there have been
- 33:37people who have done low budget scifi.
- 33:41But yeah, I'd definitely like to do some scifi weird shit.
- 33:50If you were to be asked to do like create your own episode for
- 33:55a Star Trek show, what do you think it would be about?
- 33:59I'd I'd probably have it in the future with all new characters,
- 34:06like different alien races. There's an alien race the the
- 34:11alien race, cuz you know Picard has an artificial heart.
- 34:16There was an A big alien race. I forget what they're called
- 34:21Nasicans. I want to have a Nasican on the
- 34:24bridge of the ship being a crew member because they were like
- 34:28antagonistic at first. It's it's like the Klingons with
- 34:32the original series, like you know the the Klingons were the
- 34:35bad guys but then Wharf, you know he was on the ship in The
- 34:39Next Generation. So I would want to take obscure
- 34:42alien races and like mix them together because they're alien
- 34:47races, like they have inherent things where you wouldn't have
- 34:53to work too hard to make a great character, like if it's just
- 34:56like a human. So you said that you think that
- 35:02you would take the series into the future.
- 35:05How far into the future and why is that important to you?
- 35:10I just wouldn't want to have to deal with continuity like we're
- 35:14we're like in the future now. Like things may have happened,
- 35:17but it doesn't matter right now. It's it's kind of like how Star
- 35:21Trek The Next Generation isn't really The Next Generation.
- 35:26Like, I think Star Trek The Next Generation takes place maybe
- 35:32like 80 years after The Original Series.
- 35:36So I'd want to have something like 80 years after The Next
- 35:40Generation, just just to not have to worry about stuff and
- 35:43just do my own thing. But you know, we could throw in
- 35:46references here or there as it goes along.
- 35:50What do you think about having it to where you got a ship that
- 35:54is in the normal time, but like Voyager, it gets taken not far
- 36:00out but into a totally different time period.
- 36:03Star Trek's been known for that. And then you could get away with
- 36:06all kinds of shit. Oh, actually I mentioned in the
- 36:11last week that I love this YouTube channel, Red Letter
- 36:13Media. They love Star Trek.
- 36:16And when they heard the announcement of Star Trek
- 36:19Picard, like they didn't know anything about it.
- 36:21It was just announced and they were, they made a video about
- 36:26what would we do if we were making up a card series.
- 36:30And they basically said that they said that we would want the
- 36:35card to basically come back like, oh, we need somebody Oh,
- 36:42basically like they find an old Galaxy class ship, that's the
- 36:47ship from The Next generation. But you know, like it's a little
- 36:51in the future, so it's outdated. So they have to investigate this
- 36:55mystery and they get on the ship and the ship will warp to random
- 37:00spaces and times. So maybe you could go back to a
- 37:03place in the original series, or they mentioned, oh, what's what
- 37:08would happen if they warp in the far, far future when the
- 37:12Andromeda Galaxy will collide with our Milky Way Galaxy and
- 37:17it's like you like go through all space and time.
- 37:20And that would be really cool. But I just.
- 37:22I just didn't want to say that because I didn't want to take
- 37:25their idea, but it's a great idea.
- 37:29Are you one of these folks who do believe that our Galaxy is
- 37:32going to collide? That's that's the speculation.
- 37:37It's probably going to happen, but maybe not for like a a
- 37:41billion years or something like that, but probably going to
- 37:45happen. All right.
- 37:46I got an interesting question for you.
- 37:48I always try to keep things exciting.
- 37:50So you find out that a meteorites come towards the
- 37:54earth and you are put in front of a microphone in front of the
- 37:57entire world. You have like 10 minutes to
- 38:00speak. What would your last words be to
- 38:03the world? I would say, hey guys, we
- 38:08probably deserve this if we if we didn't put all of our money
- 38:14into killing each other, maybe we could have put our money into
- 38:19looking out for the planet. Like, literally because an
- 38:23asteroid comet strike could happen.
- 38:27But we we just didn't have our priorities in check.
- 38:34Well, that sounds like a hell of a message right there.
- 38:37I'll allow it. Yeah.
- 38:39Hold on. I'm sorry.
- 38:39I got to run to the bathroom because this week I'm drinking
- 38:42beer and it just goes right through me.
- 38:45Sorry. I'll be right back.
- 38:47No problem. So if there's anybody out there
- 38:52that would like to join us in the discussion, all you got to
- 38:54do is click the link. I'll put it out there again for
- 38:57people. Come on in, we can talk about
- 39:01any topics you want to. Oops.
- 39:05Taking a little bit of delay there.
- 39:06To post that? Well, just scroll up If the link
- 39:11isn't posting out there. I don't.
- 39:13There we go. Oh, it said I got an error.
- 39:17OK, so folks, if you scroll up, you can see the link.
- 39:23Oh boy. Let's see.
- 39:28I'll come up here and then Walla.
- 39:31There it is. Trying to suggest we had bubble
- 39:41gum out there. He would have been interested in
- 39:43conversation. He's a gamer.
- 39:45What does he want to come on? Well, he comes up every once in
- 39:50a while, but looks like he's not going to do it now.
- 39:53Maybe we inspired him to go play a video game or something.
- 39:57I don't know. OK, Speaking of video games, you
- 40:00recommended to me to buy Fallout 4 last week.
- 40:04I did it. It is on sale on Steam.
- 40:07The the Game of the Year edition with all the DLC.
- 40:10It's only 10 bucks, so I bought that and New Vegas.
- 40:15But I probably won't play them for a while because if I have
- 40:20any extra time I got to finish Red Dead Redemption two.
- 40:24And also if you have a YouTube Premium subscription you they
- 40:30send you a link where you get a free trial for three months of
- 40:35Xbox Game Pass. So I would I would want to play
- 40:39any games on Game Pass before that trial runs out, before I
- 40:44try any of those games. But I I got to buy them now
- 40:46while they're on sale. Dude, you're going to be, you're
- 40:50going to be blown away when you play Fallout 4.
- 40:53It is such a good game, Very interesting.
- 40:56It seemed like there was like 10 Dlc's.
- 40:59It's crazy. Yeah, there's there's a lot of
- 41:02content. And then on top of that, there's
- 41:05a bunch you if you go to Fallout 4 Nexus, they got tons and tons
- 41:10of shit that you can add to your game.
- 41:13Yeah, I've been on there. Yeah, it's good stuff.
- 41:18Good stuff. Oh boy.
- 41:26Well, did you hear about that thing recently?
- 41:29I was talking a little bit about it at the beginning.
- 41:31There was apparently a YouTuber who decided to claim that he was
- 41:35handing out free Xboxes and Playstations.
- 41:39And these people, thousands of people showed up in New York.
- 41:43Like out in the street. The police freaked out.
- 41:46It was rough. Let's see what we got.
- 41:48Brett, I think you'd like Red Dead online.
- 41:54You can run all kinds of businesses and it's much better
- 41:57than Grand Theft Auto. They had Lightning in a bottle
- 42:00with RDO and just focus on GTA instead.
- 42:03Sad. Well, I have played Red Dead
- 42:06Redemption and my son and I, we actually ran around our horses
- 42:10and I got into it with some guy out in the street and shot him
- 42:15and then the whole damn town come after me.
- 42:19Yeah, I recorded all that. I think the videos are up on
- 42:22Rumble right now. Oh yeah, you mentioned you've
- 42:26been on Rumble. I I I remember I was watching
- 42:30some YouTuber like two years ago and he was talking about Rumble,
- 42:34but I couldn't find the website at all.
- 42:38But I don't know. I should check that out though.
- 42:42Yeah, I've been storing a lot of stuff over there.
- 42:46Yeah, unfortunately rumbles. It's a really nice site, but it
- 42:50isn't picking up as many views as something like YouTube does.
- 42:54YouTube has totally killed all other video sharing sites, but
- 42:59I'm still giving it a shot. Yeah.
- 43:02See, because me, I with my PC, I have a lot of hard drives and
- 43:07you know, you said you stored some videos on Rumble and it's
- 43:10just because, you know, if I upload something to Facebook or
- 43:13if I upload something to YouTube that could be deleted.
- 43:17I want to have a hard drive where like I have the video, you
- 43:20know, on file. So yeah, I I would just say like
- 43:26I don't know if there's a a good website that's that would never
- 43:30delete any video. So I I wouldn't trust that.
- 43:33But I yeah, I know hard drives fill up fast, but they're
- 43:36getting cheaper, especially the mechanical old hard drives.
- 43:40You could get like a 10 terabyte one for a decent amount of money
- 43:44and just leave all your videos on there.
- 43:48Well, the cool thing about Rumble as well as Odyssey, even
- 43:51though Odyssey gets no views at all.
- 43:54You can actually just simply go into the account section of
- 43:57Rumble or Odyssey and click Sync up with your YouTube channel.
- 44:01And what it'll do is it'll make it to where every time you
- 44:04upload video, it'll put it over there and it'll grab your entire
- 44:08account and put it over. On Odyssey and Rumble, you have
- 44:11copies all over the place. I'm curious, on Odyssey or
- 44:16Rumble, is there live streaming at all?
- 44:20Yeah, but rumbles a lot easier. Unfortunately.
- 44:24If you're one of these people who don't know how to do key
- 44:27codes and all that bullshit or run something like OBS, then it
- 44:31can be a learning curve. But rumbles simple.
- 44:34Just like this you can connect stream yards to it OK, because
- 44:39see with me. Maybe if something is too simple
- 44:44it could be frustrating. I like to have a learning curve
- 44:46myself, like I don't know, sometimes when something too
- 44:51simple you can't do exactly what you want.
- 44:57Yeah, just just go over, click, sync your YouTube channel and
- 45:02that takes like less than 5 minutes to connect it and you
- 45:06just logged into your YouTube channel through it and it'll ask
- 45:10you do you want the whole channel or you just want it from
- 45:13a certain point, That kind of shit.
- 45:15And then it takes a. For Rumble takes about two weeks
- 45:19to gather your entire account. If you have a couple 100 videos,
- 45:23Odyssey's a lot quicker, but unfortunately honesty doesn't
- 45:27get as many views that both sites look great though.
- 45:30They look really, really nice. Yeah, but I guess it all just
- 45:36depends on you know, how many advertising dollars they can get
- 45:40with views. So I don't know some there may
- 45:44be limitations to how much you get to upload because you don't
- 45:47remember in the early days of YouTube you could only upload
- 45:50like like 5 minutes or you had to get a certain number of
- 45:55subscribers to upload over 20 minutes or something.
- 46:00Rumble rumble isn't any kind of limitation, neither is Odyssey.
- 46:05The only problem is the views but.
- 46:08I personally, I've had a theory about YouTube for the longest
- 46:11time. I believe that they give fake
- 46:13views to a lot of video bloggers, giving people the idea
- 46:18that they're more popular than what they actually are.
- 46:20Kind of shit, yeah. Artificially inflate the numbers
- 46:26to try and get more views from like kids or whatever market
- 46:31they're trying to find. Yeah, give an example of
- 46:36something. There's a couple people out
- 46:38there that have over 1,000,000 subscribers.
- 46:41Compare the views and the ratings to the comments and
- 46:45you'll see that they don't get even 5% of the amount of
- 46:48comments that match up with their own views.
- 46:51Plus, YouTube has shown that they have corporations out there
- 46:55that are stating that if you want to, you can buy subscribers
- 46:59and views. A lot of people have debt
- 47:01accounts subscribed to them. So that's that's a problem.
- 47:07Okay. Yeah, all this has got me
- 47:11thinking. I I don't believe I've mentioned
- 47:13this last week because I didn't want to cross that line.
- 47:18It might be inappropriate, but maybe I should tell you about my
- 47:24plan. I have a plan to become a big
- 47:28time content creator. Quote UN quote.
- 47:34Well, that sounds like something a lot of people are interested
- 47:38in doing. They want to be big.
- 47:39They want to be popular on this thing.
- 47:41Before we get into that, though, let's answer this person's
- 47:44questions. Star Trek versus Star Wars.
- 47:47Which is better, guys, in your opinion?
- 47:49The old Star Trek is classic. I love the old Star Trek.
- 47:54I don't. I mean that star.
- 47:55I'm not talking about Star Trek, but Star Wars.
- 47:58The newest movies, I hate them. I I can't stand them.
- 48:01They suck. I don't like what they did with
- 48:03my heroes, and I can't even really find the energy to watch
- 48:07Star Wars anymore. Mandalorian was pretty good.
- 48:10I had hope, but then they failed on that shit later on.
- 48:14So far as Star Trek goes, I feel like it's gotten woke and
- 48:18there's some, like weak shit and they turned it more into battles
- 48:22instead of the moral ethical stories I used to love.
- 48:26But besides that, I kind of I'm liking the Pike Show, The
- 48:29Strange worlds. I haven't seen the pipe show.
- 48:35I know a lot about new Trek, but from what I understand, like the
- 48:41first two seasons of the card and the first or Discovery was
- 48:46bad from what I understand. I remember I was excited about
- 48:50Star Trek Discovery when it first got announced and I just
- 48:53didn't hear good things and I never watched it.
- 48:55But yeah, Star Wars has its bad things too.
- 49:00I know there's revisionists who say that, oh, the prequels are
- 49:03great, but the Star Wars prequels are still bad and the
- 49:08sequels are bad. But there, I know that there is
- 49:12a lot of good Star Wars books. I would just have to do some
- 49:17more research to see if Star Trek had a lot of good books
- 49:21because, you know, there's a new Star Wars show starting at the
- 49:27end of this month that's called Asoka.
- 49:29Have you heard of it? Is that the one with the woman
- 49:35that's got the weird, like, worms growing out of her head?
- 49:38She's orange. It's Rosario Dawson.
- 49:43Yeah, seeing the animated cartoon of that specific
- 49:47character, and I never really got into that that much.
- 49:51Oh, me personally, I think the cartoons are great.
- 49:56I I might like there's this one cartoon called Star Wars Rebels
- 50:01where I might like that that whole cartoon more than the
- 50:05original trilogy. It's that good.
- 50:08You got to watch Star Wars Rebels.
- 50:10But the Star Wars Rebels had Four Seasons, and the newest
- 50:16Soca show is basically going to be a fifth season of that show.
- 50:21And hold on, let me let me grab these other books one second.
- 50:25We got Lambo out here. Lambo.
- 50:27I did like the prequels of Star Wars, the the first three where
- 50:33Anakin becomes Darth Vader. I did like that, but I I didn't
- 50:37care for the newer stuff, the more modern Star Wars.
- 50:42Yeah, because Rebels introduced. Because this this book, it's
- 50:49there's three books, it's called the Thron Trilogy, and they
- 50:54basically take place right after Return of the Jedi, and they are
- 50:58great. These are great books.
- 51:03Let's see. Oh, the first Thron book came
- 51:07out in like 1991 or 1992. And Thron is a unique villain.
- 51:15He doesn't have the Force. He's like a tactician.
- 51:18He was like the Empire's top tactician who was the the
- 51:23Emperor sent him to do other stuff like in a different area
- 51:29to try to get like a new area of the Galaxy.
- 51:32And that's why he wasn't in the original trilogy.
- 51:35But he hears the Empire has fallen and he comes back and his
- 51:39mastermind strategic mind is like something completely
- 51:44different that they have to deal with.
- 51:46And he's he's also going to be the main villain in the newest
- 51:50Soca show. Got an interesting question for
- 51:55you because obviously you've probably seen some of the CGI
- 51:59stuff they've done with Star Wars where they put people,
- 52:02actors who are dead somehow Mans UCGI to make them reappear in
- 52:07some of these newer movies. What's your thoughts about that?
- 52:10Do you think it's immoral to take the imagery of dead actors?
- 52:15And then put them into make the full movie out of it.
- 52:19I don't think it's immoral. I would just say because I hate
- 52:24our current culture where we just worship celebrities.
- 52:29It's like Oh my God, it's so and so it's oh it's him or it's her.
- 52:34Like you got to have them because they're this big
- 52:36celebrity. Me personally, I would if if
- 52:40they do flashbacks or anything like that, I would prefer them
- 52:45to recast it with a different actor.
- 52:48But you know, Luke Skywalker came back in The Mandalorian at
- 52:53the end of Season 2 and his face did not look good.
- 52:57I would have preferred that they that they just recast them
- 53:02because you know the Marvel movies, the guy who plays The
- 53:05Winter Soldier, Bucky. Yeah, he looks a lot like Luke
- 53:10Skywalker or Mark Campbell at least.
- 53:13Yeah, there was a big fan outcry where they wanted him because
- 53:19like, there was a sidebyside image of Luke Skywalker and him
- 53:25and they were like, Oh my God, they look like.
- 53:27I would have preferred them to just recast Luke Skywalker as
- 53:31him. But I got to admit in the Book
- 53:34of Boba Fett show where they brought Luke Skywalker out
- 53:37again, the CG just looks so good.
- 53:40It wasn't perfect but it was like 95%.
- 53:44And I'm I'm thinking if if it can look that good go ahead and
- 53:48do it like I wouldn't care. But I I'm, I'm just off put
- 53:53because they've been they've been trying to do that shit for
- 53:59a long time. Do you remember Tron Legacy?
- 54:02I think that was the first one. It came out in like 2011 or or
- 54:07something like that or 2010 and they tried to make a young Jeff
- 54:11Bridges if if if you look at that like, it just does not look
- 54:15good, but if they can make it look good, I don't.
- 54:20So you you were saying earlier that you've been wanting your
- 54:24interests of making movies. Have you thought about looking
- 54:28into some of this a I generator stuff where you can?
- 54:33Basically, tell it what it is that you want, add some pictures
- 54:37and it will actually try to create a realistic movie for
- 54:41you. Yeah, I'm actually very excited
- 54:44about that because I don't know if you've ever heard of the TV
- 54:49show Firefly. It was like in 2004, but it it
- 54:54got cancelled before the 1st season even ended.
- 54:58Like they made 14 episodes and they only aired like 11 or 12 of
- 55:04them. And it's it's the best show ever
- 55:08made. It's my favorite show.
- 55:10And I've always wanted a Firefly Season 2.
- 55:14And I was just because I was thinking in my mind because I
- 55:16like to watch reaction channels and I was watching people react
- 55:21to Firefly for the first time. They haven't seen it.
- 55:24I'm like, oh, it's such a good show.
- 55:27Just some computer God, give me Firefly Season 2.
- 55:33I I didn't get a chance to watch it yet, but I heard a lot of
- 55:37great stuff about it. Why is it that they do that?
- 55:41That's one of the reasons I get pissed off about getting into TV
- 55:44shows, because they start picking up and doing really good
- 55:47and then suddenly get cancelled. But Firefly doesn't sound like
- 55:52it was one that should have even come close to being cancelled.
- 55:55Why did this happen? Well, actually there's a lot of
- 55:59history with that show because it was very mishandled.
- 56:03I think it was. It was ran in a very poor time
- 56:08slot because it was like the early 2000s.
- 56:11So like back then, people couldn't DVR shit and it was
- 56:17just in a very poor time slot. And people, people became real
- 56:22big fans of the show when it came out on DVD.
- 56:26And the DVD had episodes that never even aired on TV.
- 56:32So it was very mishandled. And also they ran the episodes
- 56:36out of order. I don't know why they they just
- 56:40ran. It's like, oh, we think episode
- 56:44five or something is going to be interesting.
- 56:46So we got to run that first. So, like, it was very
- 56:49mishandled, mismanaged, and it was a different time.
- 56:52I think if Firefly came out today, like with the Internet
- 56:56presence and maybe more competence, it would have been
- 57:02great. But yeah, it's just such a shame
- 57:05you you got to watch Firefly. But if I get into a show like
- 57:13that, knowing it's going to be dropped like that, it's going to
- 57:16be hard for me. Yeah, it's it's only 14 episodes
- 57:20and it's amazing. It's amazing.
- 57:24And they did make a film called Serenity a couple years after it
- 57:30was cancelled. Personally, there's things I
- 57:33like about the film, but there's a lot of things I don't like.
- 57:37It it it was, it was kind of messy, but it was kind of cool
- 57:41to see them again. But if if I were to ask an AI to
- 57:45make a A season to a Firefly, I would be like the movie's not
- 57:49canonical. These are my ideas that I want
- 57:53to see. But yeah, probably in like 1020
- 57:57years I could have a really great Firefly season too.
- 58:01I hope I live that long. Do you ever mess around with AI
- 58:07art or music? I tried to, but a lot of the
- 58:12premium experiences you got to pay for and I'm not trying to
- 58:16pay for shit. Yeah, let me give you something
- 58:22real quick to try out. This will be fun for you.
- 58:24Let me open up my I'm going to give you a link and you could
- 58:29test this out real quick. See what you think.
- 58:34Give me a link on on stream yards or.
- 58:41Hold on a second, you will be blown away by this.
- 58:45This is so neat and it's free. OK, well let me show you what it
- 58:54can do. First, if I can, try to present
- 58:58the share screen. Hopefully this doesn't cause me
- 59:04any kind of issues. OK, there we go.
- 59:11All right. Are you able to see the screen?
- 59:14Oh yeah, it's loading up right now.
- 59:16Oh, is this just AI art? Yeah, watch this.
- 59:21OK, you just simply. That's kind of in the way, but
- 59:27let's say Jesus Christ universe. Cosmos Metal.
- 59:39Watch this. This is neat.
- 59:45Take a second. Oh yeah, isn't.
- 59:52Yeah. Your thumbnail was similar to
- 59:54that, right? Yeah, I screw around with the AI
- 59:59stuff and. Come up with neat pictures, See?
- 1:00:01There you go. That's pretty funny.
- 1:00:03Oh, the Star Trek Jesus. You see that?
- 1:00:06He's wearing a a fucking Star Trek uniform.
- 1:00:11It's pretty cool, ain't it? Yeah, that's pretty awesome.
- 1:00:15Playground eye.com. Yeah, I'll definitely look that
- 1:00:19up later, dude. There you go.
- 1:00:22Heck yeah. Look at that right there.
- 1:00:24That one. But the sword and the throne?
- 1:00:32Yes, let me Let me guess. There's going to be no images of
- 1:00:37Jesus feeding the poor? Probably not sure this is a I
- 1:00:42creating this so. Yeah, but I know.
- 1:00:44But a I just goes off of all the information that it has and you
- 1:00:50know, all of the generic Jesus Christ stuff.
- 1:00:57Well, I guess you put in metal. So I guess that that.
- 1:01:01Oh yeah, he's going to make a million.
- 1:01:04Oh, oh, do you see that? There's a Midget Jesus and a
- 1:01:07real Jesus. Well, the other Jesus looks like
- 1:01:11he's standing below the other one, where the other one's up in
- 1:01:13a step. I know it's kind of hard to see
- 1:01:16it because it's a looks smaller. I don't know what the deal is
- 1:01:20with the chicken and the Roosters and all that.
- 1:01:23Oh, also. I This is one thing I was
- 1:01:26thinking of today. I wanted to mention to it to
- 1:01:29you. Did you know that there's a
- 1:01:31Jesus Christ video game on Steam?
- 1:01:34You could download a demo for it.
- 1:01:36Yeah, I've seen the video for it.
- 1:01:39Oh, it's it's called I Am Jesus Christ.
- 1:01:42And it's like the first mission is you got to go through
- 1:01:46whatever city you're in and you got to find John the Baptist.
- 1:01:50But I was watching this video and like.
- 1:01:53At the end, like there's like a boss fight, like we gotta fight
- 1:01:55a demon and it's a first person game.
- 1:01:58So you're like shooting like God magic at him.
- 1:02:01That that game looks pretty cool, actually.
- 1:02:07Here we go, Firefly TV show. Let's see what it'll do for us.
- 1:02:11Oh shit. None of this really looks
- 1:02:13anything like the show. The the show stars Nathan
- 1:02:19Zillion. Are you familiar with him?
- 1:02:22I'd have to look him up. Not good with remembering some
- 1:02:27of the actor names. Some of this is Firefly esque,
- 1:02:31but it's like I don't even recognize any particular
- 1:02:35character. It's oh, that's Marty from Back
- 1:02:39to the Future three. Do you see that?
- 1:02:42Looks like it, doesn't it? Yeah, from the picture that they
- 1:02:45took. But it's funny because Firefly
- 1:02:48is a space Western. Like where they have like Laser
- 1:02:536 shooters and there's horses in the show, Like they ride horses
- 1:02:57and there's no aliens. But it's a very interesting
- 1:03:03world because it's basically like what if, like humans maybe
- 1:03:08500 years from now? Like maybe the Earth was screwed
- 1:03:13and the the top societies were probably America and China.
- 1:03:17And every once in a while, like when when they want a character
- 1:03:20to swear and say expletives, like they say it in Chinese.
- 1:03:26We got a question for you. You probably would be able to
- 1:03:29answer this. I haven't got a chance to watch
- 1:03:32it as much on this, but here's the question.
- 1:03:35What's your opinion on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul?
- 1:03:40Well, I have to say, Breaking Bad is amazing.
- 1:03:44But I feel like I'm the only person in the world who thinks
- 1:03:47the ending sucked. Everybody said it was a perfect
- 1:03:51show, but I think the ending was really lame.
- 1:03:53I don't want to say anything because I don't want to spoil.
- 1:03:56And I haven't seen Better Call Saul.
- 1:04:00I know everybody loves it. But I tried to watch the first
- 1:04:04season. I couldn't make it through the
- 1:04:05first season. I'm like this is all right?
- 1:04:08But me personally, because it's supposed to be a prequel of a
- 1:04:12character from Breaking Bad called Saul Goodman, but I think
- 1:04:17it's just too close. It's too, it's too close to the
- 1:04:21original Breaking Bad just so they can shoehorn in other
- 1:04:24characters that were in Breaking Bad.
- 1:04:26I'm like if if there's a show about Saul, I want to see him
- 1:04:30like in his like mid to late 20s and like recast the character
- 1:04:35and. But you know, like I said, like
- 1:04:37they never want to recast characters.
- 1:04:39They we got to get the same guy and he's old, so be hard to find
- 1:04:45a guy that looks like him, though.
- 1:04:46He's got a very unique kind of look to him.
- 1:04:50Yeah, but I don't know. There's there's dude, I was just
- 1:04:54looking up, you know, there's going to be a new Planet of the
- 1:04:58Apes film next year. And there's they announced the
- 1:05:03cast and. The main ape is going to be
- 1:05:09Cornelius, but you know what's in the rebooted universe?
- 1:05:13But the guy who played Cornelius in the original Planet of the
- 1:05:16Apes? Like, I I saw the character.
- 1:05:19I saw the guy who's going to play the new Cornelius on IMDb
- 1:05:23and like, God damn, that looks like Roddy McDowell.
- 1:05:26But, like, you didn't even have to do that because he's going to
- 1:05:28be a CG character. Like you could you could always
- 1:05:32find an actor that looks like. That looks like another actor.
- 1:05:39A younger actor, I mean, No, we'll give it a try, then we'll
- 1:05:45give it a try. So what else have you been up to
- 1:05:50when you plan on playing your Fallout 4?
- 1:05:53Yeah, like I said, probably not for a while, but that's that's
- 1:05:56the good thing about PC. It's like, oh, I got the game
- 1:05:59for 10 bucks. It's it's only 10 bucks.
- 1:06:02It's in my library. It's going to be in my library
- 1:06:04forever. Like I said, I got to finish Red
- 1:06:07Dead and there's there's one game specifically on the Xbox
- 1:06:13Game Pass that I wanted to play. It's called Hifi Rush.
- 1:06:17Have you ever heard of it? High rise rush, you say?
- 1:06:23No. hi-fi, Rush. Hi-fi What's it about?
- 1:06:28It's an anime style game, but it's about a guy who almost dies
- 1:06:34and he gets robot parts in him, but then he discovers that the
- 1:06:38whole world like has a beat to it and that that's what the
- 1:06:42game's about. Like you have to.
- 1:06:44You have to do your attacks like to the beat.
- 1:06:48Like there's music playing and you can see the beats and you
- 1:06:52got to make sure you time like your dodges and attacks with the
- 1:06:56beats. And I'm like, oh, that game
- 1:06:58looks dope. I definitely got to play that
- 1:07:00before my Game Pass runs out. There you go.
- 1:07:05So what do you prefer, PlayStation or Xbox?
- 1:07:10Well, I prefer PC, but if I had to choose I would pick Xbox
- 1:07:15because if. Because, you know, like if you
- 1:07:21get Game Pass Ultimate, then you can have Game Pass on PC or
- 1:07:25Xbox. And I still got because I had an
- 1:07:30Xbox One and I bought Gears of War Four.
- 1:07:36But I can access Gears of War Four on my PC because they have
- 1:07:42something called Cross Buy. Where if you buy, if you buy it
- 1:07:46on the Xbox Store on the PC, or if you buy it just on Xbox One,
- 1:07:51you could play it on both and you have cloud saves.
- 1:07:54Like I'd have to say, Xbox. Sounds good, sounds good.
- 1:08:00I'm opening up my steam right now and take a look and see if
- 1:08:04there's any new material. Yeah, I figure once I get
- 1:08:08Starfield though, I don't see. I don't really have any other
- 1:08:12ideas of what I would want to try to play.
- 1:08:15I've been looking at what the hell is it called?
- 1:08:18Boulder Gate Three That looks. Pretty, Yeah, I've I've heard
- 1:08:22about that, I think. I think that looks pretty good.
- 1:08:25I think I mentioned last week I tried to play Diablo Four.
- 1:08:31I just didn't like it. But Baldur's Gate 3 looks pretty
- 1:08:35dope, actually. I I'm, I might try that.
- 1:08:38But you know, like I said, I'm in between jobs.
- 1:08:41I'm not going to get a full biweekly paycheck until
- 1:08:44September 1st, so I just don't want to spend too much money on
- 1:08:48games right now. But you know, when Baldur's Gay
- 1:08:51Three goes on sale, I'm definitely going to buy that
- 1:08:53shit. I think it's multiplayer too.
- 1:08:58Let me see, is this thing appearing properly?
- 1:09:01Well, that's weird. If I are you able to see what's
- 1:09:04going on? Yeah yeah, I could see your
- 1:09:06Steam page. It's weird.
- 1:09:08If I click away from it, it goes dark on the screen for some
- 1:09:13reason. I don't see, oh, my friendly
- 1:09:15neighborhood. I heard about that game.
- 1:09:17Did you see that? Let me go back this one.
- 1:09:21Dude, yeah, that's it's basically like Bioshock, but
- 1:09:24instead of Big Daddy's, it's like Muppets that have come to
- 1:09:28life. It's weird.
- 1:09:31Like the the character even has like a wrench and he hit some
- 1:09:36whips. It keeps on going black whenever
- 1:09:40I go to look back at you. Is it fixed again?
- 1:09:45Yeah, I could see everything pretty much just fine.
- 1:09:49Surrounded. Yeah.
- 1:09:52Boy, that looks spooky. Yeah, I I've never played.
- 1:10:01I played some games in VR, but a horror game in VR would be
- 1:10:05freaking amazing. You know you can play Fallout 4
- 1:10:09in VR, right? Yeah, that's what initially got
- 1:10:12me interested before because like I said last week, I got the
- 1:10:17Oculus from meta, but my Facebook account was hacked, so
- 1:10:23I can't even access it. But when.
- 1:10:25But when I was using my Oculus, I was looking at Fallout 4.
- 1:10:30I was like, ooh yeah, that that might like, because even because
- 1:10:33I knew like it, it didn't have good word of mouth generally.
- 1:10:37I was like, ooh, if I could get a big game like that in VR, like
- 1:10:40I was interested. But I I didn't buy it, though.
- 1:10:47Yeah, there's a You should watch some of the videos on YouTube.
- 1:10:50There's this one guy who imitates the Pirates of the
- 1:10:53Caribbean while he's playing the game.
- 1:10:56It's pretty funny. You know that Jack Sparrow guy?
- 1:11:01Yeah, the Johnny Depp. We have the the person, while
- 1:11:06they're doing the VR, they're playing Fallout and they're
- 1:11:09talking the way you would imagine that if a damn pirate
- 1:11:14lived in that, you know, existence or went through a time
- 1:11:17warp. It's kind of funny.
- 1:11:21Did you ever make any Fallout 4 videos?
- 1:11:24Yeah, I made a few. I I have done a lot of modding
- 1:11:28and also participated in a lot of people's mods.
- 1:11:32Got somebody called Holy Adonis. How you doing there?
- 1:11:35Holy Adonis? Yeah, it's a it's tough.
- 1:11:45You got to have a pretty good Internet connection in order to
- 1:11:47be trying to do all that. Can you still hear me?
- 1:11:54Yeah, yeah. I was just looking because the
- 1:11:57the comment wasn't on Stream Yard, I guess it's on the
- 1:12:00YouTube stream. Yeah.
- 1:12:03Let me see. Oh, I think that's Adonis.
- 1:12:10Adonis alright, Yeah. Yeah, and Adonis is like a
- 1:12:14person who's like a perfect, like male specimen.
- 1:12:18Like ooh, he's an Adonis. You saw his Avatar picture, he
- 1:12:24says. Okay, he says, Doing well since
- 1:12:28the last time we've talked about become a Christian.
- 1:12:31Well, good for you, man. Good for you.
- 1:12:33Hopefully you're a good Christian.
- 1:12:37Yeah, cause just cause you're a Christian doesn't mean you're
- 1:12:40good. I might have mentioned this last
- 1:12:42week, but there was a a Christian who was just down
- 1:12:46talking to my mom and just demeaning her and just saying
- 1:12:50like. Oh, it's because you're you're
- 1:12:53too selfish and you're blah blah blah.
- 1:12:55You're too this and too that. Like too judgmental.
- 1:12:58Like, I don't know it I guess the religion doesn't matter.
- 1:13:04It's the person that matters. Yeah, unfortunately a bad person
- 1:13:10gets into religion. They might.
- 1:13:12They could either choose to do better with their life and make
- 1:13:15good choices and become a better person, but sometimes you get
- 1:13:19people who bring their bad into the religion and then use the
- 1:13:22religion as a weapon to basically manipulate as they've
- 1:13:26always done before. Yeah, it's it's depressing.
- 1:13:32It's like you. A religion is supposed to be
- 1:13:35something that's supposed to be good.
- 1:13:37But you know, humans just got to ruin everything, you know?
- 1:13:42That's how I feel about it. That's how I feel.
- 1:13:45Took me a long time to It was easy for me to let people know
- 1:13:49that I believed in a higher power.
- 1:13:51It was hard for me to finally throw some kind of label on
- 1:13:56myself because I knew of a lot of baggage.
- 1:13:58Came with it. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 1:14:01What's your current label right now?
- 1:14:04Well, I originally was just calling myself a theist and for
- 1:14:07some reason people thought it was funny whenever I would just
- 1:14:10say I'm a believer in God. A God believer is something like
- 1:14:14that, but it's pretty, pretty clear and stuff that my views
- 1:14:19really go towards Jesus. So figured out there you go.
- 1:14:24But I've also, I don't know how many videos you've watched of
- 1:14:27mine. My issue is, is that the
- 1:14:30definition of Christian is one who strives to be or is Christ
- 1:14:35like and I'm definitely nowhere close to being like Christ.
- 1:14:39So I kind of fight with myself and struggle with myself if it's
- 1:14:43the proper label even nowadays. Yeah, I understand that because
- 1:14:49one of my comments, remember I mentioned I'm interested in
- 1:14:54maybe becoming a Buddhist. I haven't gone to a temple, but
- 1:14:57I've looked up some Buddhist temples in Milwaukee where I
- 1:15:02live. I kind of want to learn more
- 1:15:04about it. I actually bought a Buddhist
- 1:15:08book, but you know, there's no one single Buddhist holy book.
- 1:15:12It's just, you know, the the legend of Buddha and what he
- 1:15:16taught and other people have written books on the subject.
- 1:15:20But hold on, I'm sorry I got to take a leak again.
- 1:15:23Like I said, these beers just go right through me.
- 1:15:26Sorry. All right, man.
- 1:15:28It's all good. Holy Adonis, if you'd like to
- 1:15:31come in and chat with us, you can Lambo anybody out there.
- 1:15:35You don't have to type. You can come in and join the
- 1:15:38discussion. Oh boy.
- 1:15:42And if you got any questions or things you'd like to talk about,
- 1:15:48put the link out there again. There we go.
- 1:16:04Yep, there it is. Come on in if you feel like it.
- 1:16:08You don't have to have a webcam. If you have a microphone at all
- 1:16:12that's required. Well, just Lambo.
- 1:16:32All you got to do is just mute the mic whenever you're not
- 1:16:35talking. That way you don't cause any
- 1:16:36kind of noise, whatever. All right.
- 1:16:45You were mentioning Buddhism, are you going to there's, I
- 1:16:49don't know if you realize this, My son, he was looking into
- 1:16:52Buddhism a while back and all that.
- 1:16:55And there's there's two major forms of it.
- 1:16:58Obviously as far as it comes to like a God thing, there's
- 1:17:02atheistic type of Buddhism where they don't believe in a God, but
- 1:17:06there's also a form of theistic Buddhist.
- 1:17:10Which one were you going for? Well.
- 1:17:14I believe that the atheistic Buddhism is is the standard.
- 1:17:19It's the norm. I didn't, I didn't know there
- 1:17:21was a theistic version of Buddhism until I tried to look
- 1:17:25into it. This is another one of the books
- 1:17:27I bought today. The heart of Buddha's teaching
- 1:17:33it. It was just a random book in a
- 1:17:35used bookstore. It's like this is the Buddhist
- 1:17:37section and I was kind of looking at them.
- 1:17:40And this seemed the most interesting to me.
- 1:17:44But I will not buy a book from the Dalai Lama.
- 1:17:50There was a bunch of Dalai Lama books about Buddhism, and the
- 1:17:54Dalai Lama is is bullshit. The theistic Buddhist that I was
- 1:18:04talking about. It's more of a how do I put it?
- 1:18:07Kind of like a friends thing. Some people, they join Buddhism
- 1:18:12because they want to find enlightenment, or they want to
- 1:18:15be able to meditate or find themselves in some other plane.
- 1:18:19But there's other people who are theists, but they respect the
- 1:18:22philosophy of Buddhism. A lot of Buddhism is a lot of
- 1:18:27the teachings of Buddhism is a lot similar to some of the
- 1:18:31things Jesus thought. So there's Christian Buddhist
- 1:18:34out there as well. But yeah, see, my thought
- 1:18:38process is that, you know, there is a point where in Buddhism you
- 1:18:43can reach Nirvana, where a point where it's a higher stage where
- 1:18:49you won't be reincarnated again. And it's just us humans on
- 1:18:54earth. Like, maybe that's true.
- 1:18:56Maybe that's possible, But us humans on Earth are constantly
- 1:19:01looking. The Buddhists on earth are
- 1:19:04constantly looking for the reincarnation of Buddha, and I
- 1:19:08just don't believe that the Dalai Lama is the reincarnation
- 1:19:12of Buddha. Like maybe the reincarnation of
- 1:19:14Buddha is, you know, some kid in a Amazon tribe.
- 1:19:20But that that Dalai Lama is creepy.
- 1:19:23Did you see that creepy video of his?
- 1:19:25You know what I'm talking about. There's a video where the Dalai
- 1:19:31Lama like because he's like 90 years old and he had like a kid
- 1:19:36on his lap and he was asked, he stuck his tongue out there like
- 1:19:40this and he was like suck my tongue.
- 1:19:43He told that to the kid. I'm like if there's no way in
- 1:19:48fucking hell that that is the reincarnation of Buddha.
- 1:19:52They have the unfortunately that weird tradition that you speak
- 1:19:56of can also be found in Islam. There's some friends, Islamics
- 1:20:01who they, I think they call it tongue sucking or some shit like
- 1:20:06that. But yeah, it's weird.
- 1:20:09Yeah, I've never heard of that, like as a thing specifically.
- 1:20:14Like I didn't know there was a thing that Islam did.
- 1:20:17But yeah, it's just organized religion and dogma is very
- 1:20:25detrimental in my opinion because like, you know,
- 1:20:30organized religion, you just like there's people who probably
- 1:20:33don't believe anything, but they just want to get the power over
- 1:20:38the people. So where you know these Catholic
- 1:20:40priests can fucking molest kids like a lot of these holy men who
- 1:20:48say that, oh, their whole life is dedicated to God or not that
- 1:20:53holy. So I appreciate there's a
- 1:20:59religion like Buddhism that is not theistic, where there's not
- 1:21:03something to worship, but it is more of a philosophy.
- 1:21:07But there is some belief involved.
- 1:21:11Yeah, there's a there's a atheistic form of Buddhism that
- 1:21:15doesn't involve higher powers. But like I was saying, because
- 1:21:19of the idea that some people see it as a philosophy as opposed to
- 1:21:23a religion, you can get. Christians, you can get someone
- 1:21:27who has believed in God for a long time who will also claim or
- 1:21:31label themselves a Buddhist because they follow the
- 1:21:34philosophy of it. It's very similar to Jesus.
- 1:21:39Yeah, because hold on. Let me see if I could grab one
- 1:21:44more book here. All right, let's see what we
- 1:21:56got. Yeah, see, I I might have
- 1:22:01mentioned this last week, but I have the Jefferson Bible.
- 1:22:07Very thin. As you can see.
- 1:22:09It's a small book, but it's basically, it's just the moral
- 1:22:15teachings of Jesus. It's all about morality.
- 1:22:19And if you compare a Bible to what just the morality is, you
- 1:22:26could definitely see that there's a difference.
- 1:22:28And I just think like religion, like getting people to believe,
- 1:22:38like I believe in something I have to give my heart to.
- 1:22:44But we like us humans, like the vast majority of humans.
- 1:22:49I'm not going to say 0, but the vast majority of humans have
- 1:22:54never communicated with a higher power.
- 1:22:57We just have to communicate with people who have said that they
- 1:23:02have a communication with the higher power.
- 1:23:04And humans are flawed. They could lie.
- 1:23:06So I just really don't believe in, you know, putting all of
- 1:23:12yourself into something where that could be corrupted by an
- 1:23:18institution. Institutions are bad.
- 1:23:23What do you what's your thoughts on some of these?
- 1:23:26And I'll be more than happy to get into a discussion about all
- 1:23:30this with you. But how do you feel about a lot
- 1:23:32of these videos on YouTube about popular atheist who end up
- 1:23:37suffering like some kind of bout?
- 1:23:39Like a A while back there was an atheist who was out on a boat
- 1:23:43with his friends and I think they were drinking and the guy
- 1:23:47fell over and landed into almost a piddle like jellyfish the the
- 1:23:51ones that can. Kill your ass really quickly.
- 1:23:53Yeah, the big forms. Well, apparently he got stung up
- 1:23:57and then ended up in the hospital.
- 1:23:59When he woke up, he claimed that he envisioned God speaking to
- 1:24:05him and actually showed him representations of like a form
- 1:24:10of hell. Now, I couldn't agree with him
- 1:24:13because my view of hell is not like a lot of other Christians.
- 1:24:17I don't believe it's actually a location.
- 1:24:19I believe it's just simply the death of the soul or
- 1:24:22destruction. I'm an annihilationist, but he
- 1:24:25said that he was any place and actually spoke to God.
- 1:24:30This was an atheist who made a video of this, and the guy was
- 1:24:33well known for being an atheist. Yeah, I would just say things of
- 1:24:39that nature like the human mind is so malleable.
- 1:24:47I don't know, I could never tell somebody that their experience
- 1:24:51wasn't true. But there's millions of people
- 1:24:55who experience things like like schizophrenia like it.
- 1:25:02I'm not going to, I'm not going to give any validation that
- 1:25:05like, oh, maybe that's real, but it's just hard to say.
- 1:25:11Because as me being interested in Buddhism, I have to say I
- 1:25:17like a lot of the stuff I've heard about reincarnation sounds
- 1:25:21pretty credible and also a lot of the stuff that I've heard
- 1:25:26about DMT. Have you heard about DMT?
- 1:25:31Yeah, I brought. I brought that up with you last
- 1:25:34week about people having experiences and all that, and I
- 1:25:39remember I questioned you, I said.
- 1:25:41Why would evolution create a chemical that allows you to have
- 1:25:45euphoria before you die? It's all good.
- 1:25:48It was last week and we talked about 100 different things.
- 1:25:51So, yeah, but well, to this conversation, there have been
- 1:25:55many people who have had profound experiences on DMT, and
- 1:26:01I think most of them seem substantive, like this is what
- 1:26:09the person needed to hear, but what what might Nobody really
- 1:26:13knows what a DMT trip is. But my thinking is like, maybe
- 1:26:20your consciousness can access a higher dimension.
- 1:26:24And, you know, people experience so many different things on DMT.
- 1:26:28So I I was thinking maybe like you know, people could
- 1:26:31experience many different dimensions, many different
- 1:26:36dimensions of the universe. There could be infinite
- 1:26:40dimensions for what we know. So I I don't think that it's not
- 1:26:46credible, but from I don't know. It's possible that the DMT
- 1:26:52experiences are just in our head, but I don't know from what
- 1:26:56I I guess I would have to experience it for myself before
- 1:26:59I say for sure. I guess I should probably throw
- 1:27:03this out there about the reincarnation thing that you
- 1:27:05brought up last week, as well as a few times in this discussion.
- 1:27:09To me, I don't have a difficult time believing that our energy
- 1:27:14goes back into the universe and sooner or later it will manifest
- 1:27:18itself into another life form or person.
- 1:27:21That's not a problem. My issue with reincarnation is
- 1:27:24these fucking people who claim to be the reincarnation of JFK
- 1:27:28or somebody always famous or popular.
- 1:27:31No one ever says I used to be this and then I became a
- 1:27:35cockroach and I lasted 5 minutes and somebody laid a cup of hot
- 1:27:39coffee on me. Nobody ever has that story.
- 1:27:42It's always they're famous or came from some Egyptian goddess
- 1:27:46or some shit. You notice that?
- 1:27:49Yeah. Well, obviously that is mental
- 1:27:52illness. Because if I if even if I had a
- 1:27:56DMT experience or some type of psychedelic experience, or like
- 1:28:04if I knew I was a reincarnation of like a famous, notable person
- 1:28:11in history that people would recognize, I wouldn't tell
- 1:28:16anybody. I would just give the vague
- 1:28:18details like, oh, I grew up here and I remember this and I
- 1:28:22remember that. But because I know as a sane
- 1:28:26person, it sounds crazy to say that you're the reincarnation of
- 1:28:30Napoleon Bonaparte. Even if I was, I wouldn't say
- 1:28:34it, but I would give small details.
- 1:28:37So I would say stuff like that. That's definitely mental illness
- 1:28:43in my opinion. Well, how would?
- 1:28:46OK, so I believe that on a scientific level we could find
- 1:28:53energy in the universe that basically perpetuates itself in
- 1:28:56the next generation life forms. However, how would someone be
- 1:29:01able to explain outside the supernatural or in a
- 1:29:04naturalistic way, that the memories of past darn if the
- 1:29:08body is gone and there's no soul from an atheist point of view?
- 1:29:13Then why should the memories be carried over?
- 1:29:16For there would have to be some supernatural essence to that.
- 1:29:20Well, I guess that all just depends on your definition of
- 1:29:24supernatural. Supernatural.
- 1:29:29I guess, You know if if somebody went back in time with an
- 1:29:35electromagnet and is grabbing metal like to hunter gatherers,
- 1:29:42they would say that is a supernatural being and he has
- 1:29:45supernatural powers. So I I wouldn't, I wouldn't
- 1:29:49necessarily say reincarnation is supernatural because we don't
- 1:29:54know, we don't really know what life and consciousness is.
- 1:29:58We we don't really know what it is.
- 1:30:01It's it's a mystery. No, what I'm saying is I don't
- 1:30:05believe, I believe that it could naturalistically be explained on
- 1:30:10a scientific level of. Basically the energy coming back
- 1:30:14into life forms and regenerating themselves, that's not
- 1:30:18supernatural to me. It's preserving memories.
- 1:30:22Like let's say that you believe that you came from some ancient
- 1:30:25person 5000 years ago. Well, how would I be able to
- 1:30:30verify that? And why would you even have the
- 1:30:32memories in the 1st place? You see, that's where I get the
- 1:30:36the idea that there must be some supernatural extension in order
- 1:30:39for that to be the case. What is the purpose of you
- 1:30:42having those memories when you're not that person anymore?
- 1:30:47Well, I would say that some people describe the human brain
- 1:30:54as an antenna like where if your life force went to another brain
- 1:31:05you might be able to pick up on some signals.
- 1:31:09And if our brain, if our brain was an antenna that that's
- 1:31:14probably what DMT is like, where DMT just tunes the frequency.
- 1:31:23You know, I'm using, I'm using basic language here, but we we
- 1:31:30don't know how that works. But I definitely think that's
- 1:31:33possible because the brain is a super complex thing that we
- 1:31:37can't just replicate. We can replicate many things,
- 1:31:40even with computer technology, but the brain is the most
- 1:31:44advanced super computer on the planet and we don't know how it
- 1:31:50works. Well, I would have to say this.
- 1:31:54If people do believe it's possible for memories to be
- 1:31:59passed on many generations later or someone come to life and then
- 1:32:04say that they were someone thousands of years ago, they
- 1:32:08would have to superimpose the idea that there's some kind of
- 1:32:12concept of God. If you believe that memories can
- 1:32:15be passed on through the cosmos like that, then you basically
- 1:32:18would have to argue that there's a mind involved in that.
- 1:32:23I don't know if I would say that because we don't know what life
- 1:32:29is really. So maybe like, hold on, Let me
- 1:32:36let me try to think of an example.
- 1:32:38We we kind of, we kind of, Even though there's a we're still
- 1:32:42infantile in our understanding of existence in the universe.
- 1:32:46You know right now that if you had the unfortunate problem of
- 1:32:50heading up to Walmart to get a really good movie or book, and
- 1:32:53you get hit by a fucking banana truck, that's it, right?
- 1:32:57Yeah. I mean, scientifically, you
- 1:32:59observe somebody gets hit by a truck, they're done.
- 1:33:02Now, if your memory somehow pass on 200 years later to somebody
- 1:33:06else and they think that they're partly you, well, shit, there
- 1:33:11has to be some kind of supernatural element.
- 1:33:13There ain't no way to get around that.
- 1:33:15What about you were mentioning Buddhism?
- 1:33:18Do you believe in the form of karma kind of reap what you sow?
- 1:33:22Oh yeah, I definitely believe in karma there.
- 1:33:27There might be elements of karma in our world that we have right
- 1:33:31now. But you know, we we all know
- 1:33:33that there are evil people who live to be like a fucking
- 1:33:38hundred and they never have any consequences.
- 1:33:42And so maybe in the next life they'll have to get punished but
- 1:33:48or not punished Because that implies that there's something,
- 1:33:54I I would say that there's probably a balance to the
- 1:33:58universe. The the universe needs balance.
- 1:34:03But maybe it can't always be balanced in the world we
- 1:34:08experience right now. Maybe an A consciousness would
- 1:34:14have to be balanced in its next reincarnation.
- 1:34:20I used to talk to this beautiful woman a while back in my live
- 1:34:24shows called Sister Sunshine and she she was Buddhist and she
- 1:34:29believed in karma and a concept of reap what you show and I
- 1:34:33remember asking her who's keeping score of the karma
- 1:34:37though. I mean, you even found yourself,
- 1:34:40even though you realize you and used a funny word for it.
- 1:34:44But usually when people believe in karma, they believe that the
- 1:34:47universe is somehow adjusting the negative energy and the
- 1:34:51negative things people do, and then they're they're living
- 1:34:54through it in the next life or there's some kind of lesson to
- 1:34:57be learned. Wouldn't that also presuppose
- 1:35:00that there's something out there that's keeping score?
- 1:35:05I wouldn't say so because maybe that's just the natural law of
- 1:35:10the universe. Because because you know, like
- 1:35:16our universe doesn't really make any sense.
- 1:35:19Like, why? Why do we have these laws of
- 1:35:22nature? Why do we have the law of
- 1:35:23gravity? Why do we have the speed of
- 1:35:25light? Like this is just the universe
- 1:35:28that we exist in right now. And maybe there are other
- 1:35:33certain balances in in consciousness, but we don't.
- 1:35:38Like I said, we don't really know what consciousness,
- 1:35:40consciousness is. So but you know, like I said, I
- 1:35:45believe in multiverse theory, there has to be an infinite
- 1:35:48number of universes. Maybe there are universes with
- 1:35:52absolutely no life and no laws, but yeah, that's what I believe.
- 1:35:59The I've seen theories where some people believe that there
- 1:36:04could be multiverses that actually go backwards as opposed
- 1:36:08to forward. That if you were observing that
- 1:36:10universe, it's called the arrow time theory, where you're
- 1:36:14literally watching people get younger as opposed to getting
- 1:36:17older. Everything's backwards.
- 1:36:20Now there's something I've noticed when talking to you.
- 1:36:24You are so open. Minded to all these different
- 1:36:29universes and ideas and stuff. But I notice if I throw the
- 1:36:33concept of God at you, it seems like you're like, well, I don't
- 1:36:38know about all that. I mean you're open to everything
- 1:36:40else, but the concept of God seems to it's you wrong.
- 1:36:44Why is that? Yeah, it just doesn't make any
- 1:36:48sense. There's a complex being who came
- 1:36:53down and created everything that it just doesn't make sense.
- 1:36:59How? How was that complex being
- 1:37:01created? Like, as I probably mentioned
- 1:37:04this last week, but like there's probably 100,000 different
- 1:37:09religions over the span of humanity, if not more.
- 1:37:14Everybody believes in a different God.
- 1:37:19All of those religions contradict the others.
- 1:37:22So like I I just don't see what like cuz some people thought the
- 1:37:27sun was a God. Oh it's the sun, the sun is God
- 1:37:31the sun gives life. But like a complex entity like
- 1:37:40in our universe, like creating our universe, it just doesn't
- 1:37:45make any sense. Well, as far as people
- 1:37:48worshipping the sun or the stars or some kind of nebula, I mean,
- 1:37:53it would be pretty easy to. I mean, we could, well, there's
- 1:37:56a couple different ways we could argue it.
- 1:37:57We could just say these people are nuts are they've been
- 1:38:00smoking wacky to backy and they're just seeing shit, right?
- 1:38:04But then there's the other thing.
- 1:38:05If we were to put more energy or thought into this, could you
- 1:38:10imagine if you're a primitive person and you see something
- 1:38:13come out of one of these multiverses?
- 1:38:16And it lands before you. Being a primitive person, your
- 1:38:19idea might be because you've never been to the sun.
- 1:38:23You don't know how hot it actually is, or what material it
- 1:38:26is because you're a primitive person.
- 1:38:28Perhaps you think that the life form that came from the sky is
- 1:38:32from the stars themselves or the sun.
- 1:38:36It doesn't make the person an idiot, but they're basically
- 1:38:38whenever they write down what it is they seen.
- 1:38:42They start speculating on where it may have come from.
- 1:38:46Does that make sense to you? Yeah, that makes sense.
- 1:38:49But that doesn't mean whatever entity that they saw existed
- 1:38:55before the universe and created the universe as we know it.
- 1:38:59I I just don't think that makes any logical sense.
- 1:39:02But do you believe in multiverses?
- 1:39:04So you must believe that some of those multiverses can die,
- 1:39:09right? They claim many theories in this
- 1:39:12universe is going to die. Our galaxies are going to ram
- 1:39:15into each other. Do you believe that some
- 1:39:17universes are dead or become nonexistent?
- 1:39:23Maybe. Like I said, I'm not even
- 1:39:25exactly sure what our universe is like.
- 1:39:28Maybe our universe never died, but maybe it existed in a
- 1:39:35different type of state and it it naturally evolved into the
- 1:39:43state that we know now. But I don't.
- 1:39:45I don't know for sure if a universe can die, but maybe.
- 1:39:53So you believe in the the possibility of all these
- 1:39:56multiverses. You believe in the possibility
- 1:39:59that every universe could have its own laws and strange,
- 1:40:02unusual stuff, but. The concept of a superior being
- 1:40:08that can be attributed to a God like thing that's that's just
- 1:40:13too far for you. Well, like I said, what's your
- 1:40:16definition of superior like a being that's superior to an
- 1:40:20entire universe. I'd have to ask you Brett, do
- 1:40:24you believe in that there are multi?
- 1:40:29In multiverse theory, are there multiple universes?
- 1:40:32And if so, did the God who create our universe create those
- 1:40:36universes? Well, the the honest answer I
- 1:40:40can give for the multiverse, I see no reason whatsoever why it
- 1:40:45shouldn't be the case that there's more out there.
- 1:40:48I think that it's absolutely probable that there's other
- 1:40:52universes and other existences. I also believe that our universe
- 1:40:57may not act under natural laws like we assume all the time.
- 1:41:01There could be a lot of crazy shit going on star track Y stuff
- 1:41:04that we just haven't observed yet.
- 1:41:06But being that I'm open to all that, you kind of have to find
- 1:41:11yourself to the point where you say maybe there is an entity
- 1:41:14capable of transforming matter and being able to terror form
- 1:41:19and do these type of things like a God.
- 1:41:23Yeah, but if you're open to the idea of the multiverse, do you
- 1:41:27think I have to ask you, do you, do you think that the God that
- 1:41:33you believe created our universe and created us created other
- 1:41:37universes? Or are there other gods who have
- 1:41:40created other universes? Well, for me and I know that
- 1:41:46this is going to cause some religious folks some issues out
- 1:41:50there because some people just hold to the idea that there's
- 1:41:53one God. But I've actually read the Bible
- 1:41:55cover to cover as well as studied.
- 1:41:57A lot of the Abrahamic face and other gods are mentioned.
- 1:42:01There are other beings mentioned in these religious texts that
- 1:42:06are very close to the attributes of God and could be considered
- 1:42:09God like themself or Demi gods. I'm sorry.
- 1:42:14I got something in my eye. It's all good, man.
- 1:42:21So do you think there's a universe that exists that the
- 1:42:27God that you believe created our universe has nothing to do with?
- 1:42:32Well I've never observed a multi universe, but I am totally open
- 1:42:37to the speculation and idea of there being other universes.
- 1:42:41As far as I'm concerned though, we're in the same, we're in the
- 1:42:45same problem. Whether you add a million
- 1:42:47universes or stick with one, you have to ask yourself where did
- 1:42:52the universe come from? Where did the energy come from
- 1:42:55to create these universes and all that.
- 1:42:57I believe that God is like an eternal energy that always is,
- 1:43:02always was, and he's an extension of these universes if
- 1:43:06there's many of them. If there isn't then he's just an
- 1:43:09extension of this one. Is there others like him?
- 1:43:13I believe that's very possible. Some people would call it
- 1:43:16angels, some would call it demons or gin or some kind of
- 1:43:20name for it. Yeah, I guess so.
- 1:43:23Those would be supernatural entities.
- 1:43:25But angels and gin, like, don't have the ability to create a
- 1:43:29whole universe. So I'm just saying that.
- 1:43:35Well, I would have to say that I don't even know that our
- 1:43:38universe didn't exist. Maybe our universe always
- 1:43:42existed. That's what a that's what an
- 1:43:46atheist friend, well, former atheist friend of mine talked
- 1:43:49about quite a few times. You should go back in the live
- 1:43:52shows. He eventually ended up with the
- 1:43:54concept that there had to be a higher power though.
- 1:43:57But for the longest time he hated The Big Bang theory.
- 1:44:00He did not like the idea that the universe had a beginning.
- 1:44:04He felt that was supernatural and that's what science claimed.
- 1:44:08Well, I wouldn't necessarily call The Big Bang theory
- 1:44:12supernatural, because it it doesn't mean our universe was
- 1:44:17created, it just means our universe changed form.
- 1:44:22At a certain point in time, well, here's why it it's
- 1:44:26considered the concept of like The Big Bang.
- 1:44:29Here's the reason why a lot of theists and some atheists get
- 1:44:33aggravated with The Big Bang. It is claimed that a singularity
- 1:44:38existed outside of space and time and matter before the
- 1:44:42universe existed. This means that nature did not
- 1:44:46exist, therefore there were no laws of nature.
- 1:44:49Whenever it finally did its explosion, or whatever you want
- 1:44:53to call it, creating all this, then nature came into existence.
- 1:44:58That's why it's supernatural, because it's outside the laws of
- 1:45:02nature. It existed before nature even
- 1:45:05existed. That's why a theist and some
- 1:45:08atheist get a little funky whenever it comes to that
- 1:45:11theory. Well, I don't know.
- 1:45:14Like I said, I'm not. An an astrophysicist.
- 1:45:18But you know, there are things that are pretty much confirmed
- 1:45:23like dark matter that would interact with our universe in a
- 1:45:28completely different way that would upset the natural laws of
- 1:45:33our universe. So I I would just have to say, I
- 1:45:37don't know. That's a important thing too, My
- 1:45:42friend, his name's Adam, by the way.
- 1:45:45He might come in sooner or later.
- 1:45:47He's been having some health issues.
- 1:45:49You guys would have some great conversations about this stuff.
- 1:45:52But what do you if something comes into existence without no
- 1:45:58nature or time or space? What would you call that if not
- 1:46:02supernatural? I don't know if.
- 1:46:08I don't know. I don't know If anything could
- 1:46:10come into existence without nature.
- 1:46:14It would just be a different nature.
- 1:46:15And maybe, maybe nature evolves. And maybe nature changes just
- 1:46:21like we do. So let's say something like The
- 1:46:25Big Bang happened. Or it happened many times,
- 1:46:27creating many different universes.
- 1:46:30A singularity exploded in all this.
- 1:46:32Now here's something to think about.
- 1:46:35Now, if we believe that and we go along with that story, then
- 1:46:38we have to imagine to ourselves that every mind and every life
- 1:46:43form that existed come from that single source.
- 1:46:46If that's the case, if all the properties of the universe was
- 1:46:50in one spot, why couldn't you speculate that there is a grand
- 1:46:55mind that existed within all that material and property of
- 1:46:58the universe? Well, I wouldn't say that I
- 1:47:02maybe life because you know, even me looking into Buddhism
- 1:47:07with reincarnation, maybe life always existed in some way in
- 1:47:12some form and before The Big Bang, maybe life existed in a
- 1:47:17different form. So let's say that you, let's say
- 1:47:22that you die and you're going through this unusual process of
- 1:47:26being able to manifest back into a life form, but the problem is
- 1:47:30Earth no longer exists. What would happen then?
- 1:47:36Well, I I mentioned this last week that I'm not even, I'm not
- 1:47:40even sure that life exists beyond Earth.
- 1:47:45Maybe we're all that's it because.
- 1:47:48People who criticize Buddhism, they're like, oh, how do you
- 1:47:51explain population growth? Like, oh, there's there's more
- 1:47:56and more people every generation.
- 1:47:59Well, I would, I would have to say to that, that you'd have to
- 1:48:04admit that the more people there are, the less animals there are,
- 1:48:10because the more like. You know, in the old Americas,
- 1:48:14we almost wiped out all the Buffalo.
- 1:48:18And right now there's more extinctions of animals than ever
- 1:48:22before, and there's more humans than ever before, So that could
- 1:48:26be a thing. I'm not.
- 1:48:27I'm not even sure that life exists beyond our Earth.
- 1:48:33We got that Lambo out here, he says.
- 1:48:37I think we're all just a bunch of animals controlled by
- 1:48:40emotions and self-interest. Kind of pessimistic and
- 1:48:44negative, but it's how I feel. I used to feel like that myself.
- 1:48:48I was what you referred to as a nihilistic atheist, and I
- 1:48:53couldn't figure out a way to be able to give any kind of
- 1:48:56objective meaning and purpose to humans.
- 1:48:59Basically, value to us if we're nothing more than basically
- 1:49:03bottles of Windex. Yeah, see, I don't know.
- 1:49:08I wouldn't say that because I don't know.
- 1:49:13Like I said, what? What makes What makes an animal
- 1:49:17different than humans? Like, humans are definitely
- 1:49:21animals. We just have a more complex
- 1:49:25brain and manner of thinking. I don't.
- 1:49:28I don't think we're something too special compared to the
- 1:49:33other animals of the Earth. You don't think that there's
- 1:49:39anything special about you compared to like, a cockroach or
- 1:49:42a monkey? Yeah, because I wouldn't.
- 1:49:45I wouldn't call it special. I just have a higher level of
- 1:49:49brain development and I'm, I'm thankful to be born in this body
- 1:49:53and to have that brain development.
- 1:49:56But I don't know, maybe if I was born as like a fucking nouse in
- 1:50:01the countryside. Just.
- 1:50:04Eating fucking, you know, seeds or other people's crops like
- 1:50:10before pesticides and stuff, like maybe that was a great
- 1:50:13life. I don't know why do you see,
- 1:50:18this is something I've always found interesting too, when you
- 1:50:22do get into conversations with folks who compare themselves to
- 1:50:25animals. Animals have never attempted to
- 1:50:28nuke the earth or cause destruction to the environment
- 1:50:33and all this. Why do Why do humans have this
- 1:50:36inclination that they're smarter than the other animals in the
- 1:50:401st place? What, because we can build an
- 1:50:43Xbox? Because we can make a Nintendo
- 1:50:45or something? What is it that makes us better
- 1:50:48than the animal and your thought process?
- 1:50:50Well, we're definitely smarter. I don't know if it makes us
- 1:50:53better if if we did nuke the world next year, because it
- 1:50:58could definitely happen the the. Doomsday clock is ticking.
- 1:51:04If humans did nuke the earth, we'd probably be the worst
- 1:51:07animal. Hold on, I got to pee again.
- 1:51:11Sorry. All right, it's all good.
- 1:51:15That's fair enough. That's too bad that Lambeau and
- 1:51:19some of the other people out there don't come in.
- 1:51:21Join the conversation, I hope. My buddy Adam's okay.
- 1:51:26He's been having a lot of health issues.
- 1:51:31Let me check my e-mail, see what's going on.
- 1:51:33I sent out to my mailing list. Let's see.
- 1:51:40See what's going on out there. Damn boy, This thing really lags
- 1:52:01and that looks like nothing. Yeah, What's up, Brett?
- 1:52:12Sorry about that. Because yeah, remember I had a
- 1:52:17big bottle of E&J last week and I only went to the bathroom like
- 1:52:21twice. But you know, because I.
- 1:52:26I got my final paycheck from my previous job and I love beer.
- 1:52:30I'm a big beer drinker and I I know it goes through me.
- 1:52:34I I probably shouldn't have done it if I wanted to go on your
- 1:52:36podcast. But yeah, see, this is New
- 1:52:40Glaris. This is a Wisconsin beer.
- 1:52:43You see Wisconsin on there, Yeah.
- 1:52:47I just, yeah, I haven't had it in a while.
- 1:52:49I had to represent Wisconsin because it's the greatest state
- 1:52:53in the union. It's all good.
- 1:52:58So you were you were saying earlier that your mother was
- 1:53:02having a negative experience with some religious person.
- 1:53:06How did she run into this person and why did it appear according
- 1:53:09to you, what you observed, why they were acting like a Jackass
- 1:53:13for? Well, he was a family friend.
- 1:53:17It's actually a long time friend of one of my uncles.
- 1:53:22And she made his wedding cake. I believe she she does cakes so.
- 1:53:30But I don't know, because she is going through her own difficult
- 1:53:33time right now, like through no fault of her own.
- 1:53:37Like she has her own plans, and like some of those plans fell
- 1:53:40through. And like the guy was just
- 1:53:43mightier or not mightier, holier than thou.
- 1:53:49And he was just saying, well, maybe this wouldn't have
- 1:53:51happened if you weren't thinking too much of yourself and blah
- 1:53:54blah blah, and you got to give yourself to Jesus and everything
- 1:53:57you got to do, you got to do for Jesus.
- 1:53:59And I don't know, it's just very disrespectful.
- 1:54:02I I guess he found Jesus later on in life.
- 1:54:07So, like he maybe he thinks he knows everything now that he's
- 1:54:12gotten into it. But sorry, my damn cat.
- 1:54:19Get out of here. It's sad when people get like
- 1:54:22that because of the there's nowhere in any of these holy
- 1:54:26books that says that life is going to be fair or if you
- 1:54:29follow God, you're going to get everything that you want, kind
- 1:54:32of thing. Unfortunately there are some
- 1:54:35religious people that treat God like a genie lamp.
- 1:54:37Like you rub the bottle and you know some shit pops out and you
- 1:54:41get wishes or put quarter in the gum machine and get candy out of
- 1:54:45it. So not how it works.
- 1:54:47It rains on the just and the unjust.
- 1:54:49Sometimes really good people have unfair shit happen to him.
- 1:54:53It's that's the reality of it. Yeah, I'm sorry I had to look
- 1:54:57down at my phone. There's a Bible passage that I I
- 1:55:00just know through osmosis. Judge not lest he be judged.
- 1:55:07That's in the Bible. The Bible is against judgment.
- 1:55:12Like, Nope, you're not supposed to judge people.
- 1:55:16Only only the Christian God could judge people according to
- 1:55:20the the Bible. Yeah, there there is several
- 1:55:25passages to say thou shalt not judge and all this.
- 1:55:28There is a passage, however, though, that I remind some
- 1:55:31religious folks of that if you do, if you do make a judgment
- 1:55:36call, you have to do it righteously like you can't.
- 1:55:40For instance, you probably heard the quote before.
- 1:55:43You point out the you know, someone splinter or whatever,
- 1:55:46take the plank out of your own eye type of deal.
- 1:55:49Basically, if you're going to make a judgment call, don't be a
- 1:55:52hypocrite while doing it. Yeah, but I guess that's the
- 1:55:57paradox with religion. This, this guy believes that
- 1:56:00because, you know, he just got married.
- 1:56:02He's living his perfect life in his eyes.
- 1:56:06So he's like, oh, she's not living her perfect life.
- 1:56:08So I I can I have the authority to judge her then?
- 1:56:12But I don't know. It's it's just not very, not
- 1:56:18very nice. Well, sometimes people will go
- 1:56:23through all kinds of struggles, religious or nonbeliever, and
- 1:56:27they'll wonder what the deal is. Sometimes there's God has
- 1:56:31something better waiting for them or something bigger and
- 1:56:34just preparing them for whenever they get it.
- 1:56:37Have you noticed that people who get whatever they want all the
- 1:56:40time, they become used to the routine and then they don't
- 1:56:43appreciate what they have as much?
- 1:56:46A person who's been poor or a person who struggled.
- 1:56:49When they finally get something really good, they tend to hold
- 1:56:52on to it for dear life. Yeah, of course.
- 1:56:57I guess that's very similar to Buddhism where.
- 1:57:03You know, Buddhism states that attachments will equal
- 1:57:08suffering. You should not have attachments.
- 1:57:10You should let go of attachments.
- 1:57:13And to a certain extent I think that's true, because if there's
- 1:57:19something you need, you need it. But there's there might be
- 1:57:23arbitrary things that you think you need, but you don't need it.
- 1:57:28That's why you know the poor people when they'll appreciate
- 1:57:32things that much more. But to address the Buddhist
- 1:57:36thing, I would have to say that it needs to be updated because
- 1:57:44like I said, I I have a TV, I have Internet, but I I don't
- 1:57:49know if I would call them attachments because part of
- 1:57:51life. Is experiencing other people.
- 1:57:54Me and you wouldn't be talking, having these good conversations
- 1:57:58that you enjoy if I didn't have this.
- 1:58:01But also, you know, it's it's about arts.
- 1:58:05Like if I didn't have a TVI wouldn't be able to see the arts
- 1:58:09that people create. I wouldn't be able to see the
- 1:58:11music videos. I wouldn't be able to listen to
- 1:58:16music. I wouldn't be able to see the
- 1:58:18artistic films of like Stanley Kubrick.
- 1:58:22Or Mike Flanagan. So it's I think stuff like that
- 1:58:31definitely needs to be updated. I I definitely think every human
- 1:58:35on earth needs like a bare minimum of access to the
- 1:58:40information that all of our Earth civilization creates
- 1:58:47because we have so many philosophical ideas we have.
- 1:58:51So much art and music and everything.
- 1:58:55So I wouldn't necessarily call that an attachment.
- 1:58:59Well, of course, if it wasn't for the Internet, in the books
- 1:59:03and all that, you wouldn't even know who Buddha is.
- 1:59:05You need the information some way to be able to access it, or
- 1:59:09you wouldn't even know what. We wouldn't even be having the
- 1:59:12conversation about this because we wouldn't even know about it.
- 1:59:16So yeah, I I get you on that. It makes sense.
- 1:59:20But yeah, I'm I'm thinking like, of course the bare minimums need
- 1:59:25to be met first. I think all humans on earth
- 1:59:28deserve food and water and shelter, but I think us on earth
- 1:59:36we have the capability to give everybody more than that.
- 1:59:41Like just imagine like like some kind of peasants in in Africa.
- 1:59:49Like you should be able to listen to Michael Jackson's
- 1:59:52Thriller because it's amazing. It's a great video.
- 1:59:55He's a great performer. It was a great composed piece of
- 1:59:58music by Chrissy, by Quincy Jones like that.
- 2:00:03That's something everybody should experience.
- 2:00:10Well, I agree with a lot of these governments around the
- 2:00:13world. We could easily feed people 100
- 2:00:16times over and put a roof over people's head.
- 2:00:20And there's a lot of Christian ministries that do go out to
- 2:00:24Africa and some of these countries.
- 2:00:26Unfortunately from time to time, especially in the past, I used
- 2:00:30to people used to send videos to me where they would capture
- 2:00:34Christians who were bringing food and then set them on fire
- 2:00:38in front of the tribes and all that kind of stuff.
- 2:00:40So there are groups out there that put their ass on the line
- 2:00:44to try to help people, but their governments kill them.
- 2:00:48You heard of the white farmer genocide that's going on, right?
- 2:00:52No, I'm not aware. Is that current?
- 2:00:54Yeah, in Africa they've been, there's been a bunch of groups
- 2:00:59and everything that's been going into farms that are ran by white
- 2:01:03people and killing them and then destroying the crops.
- 2:01:06And I don't get it. Why not just, you know, work
- 2:01:10with the folks to be able to help provide more food for the
- 2:01:13country. They're literally destroying the
- 2:01:15crops in the fields and then killing the farmers themselves.
- 2:01:19And then then they go back to starving to death and it kind of
- 2:01:23makes you go, well, what the hell?
- 2:01:25What? What are you guys doing?
- 2:01:26You barely eat and now you're destroying the very food and the
- 2:01:30people making it for you. I don't understand the logic
- 2:01:33there. Well, I'm not aware of this, but
- 2:01:37if that were true. There must be a reason, there
- 2:01:41must be some detrimental side to that part of the story.
- 2:01:45It's just we don't know it because we're not the people and
- 2:01:48we're not living there. It's not like the people just
- 2:01:51want to sabotage themselves and they want to starve to death.
- 2:01:55It's well, they they are, they're they're killing that.
- 2:01:58They're killing their farmers. And then on top of it, you know
- 2:02:01what? Another thing I find really
- 2:02:03weird too is a lot of people, especially on YouTube, they make
- 2:02:07videos all the time talking about like ancient slavery or
- 2:02:12something that happened back in biblical times or back in the
- 2:02:151800s and shit. But nobody ever talks about
- 2:02:18modern day slavery that's going on now.
- 2:02:21Not only does is Africa, the tribes killing farmers and
- 2:02:25fields, but they sell each other off.
- 2:02:29The slavery still exists and they're still doing these
- 2:02:32things. So in a way they are kind of
- 2:02:35sabotaging themselves. That's where I find the logic is
- 2:02:39totally failed. Yeah, I guess, but I don't know
- 2:02:44if you were in that situation maybe maybe it's sell somebody
- 2:02:49or be sold yourself. So maybe it's just survival in
- 2:02:54the situation that they have. But I would also have to say
- 2:02:57that slavery exists even where people doesn't, where people
- 2:03:02wouldn't say slavery exists like.
- 2:03:05The people who like the, the Chinese people who assemble all
- 2:03:09of our fucking iPhones are definitely slaves.
- 2:03:13So that that's wrong and immoral.
- 2:03:15Like, technically they get paid. Technically they have a place to
- 2:03:19live. Technically they have enough
- 2:03:21enough food and water to live, but they're still basically
- 2:03:24slaves. They don't have a lot of
- 2:03:25freedom. So I just think our whole entire
- 2:03:29world, we got to, we got to reorganize it to make it better
- 2:03:33for everybody. I feel like there, I feel like
- 2:03:37there's a form of slavery that still exists in the United
- 2:03:40States of America. I watch these young people who
- 2:03:43are trying the best they can and to go to school, and then they
- 2:03:47get caught up in thousands of dollars of debt, almost
- 2:03:50$1,000,000 for some of them, and they have to do that for the
- 2:03:54rest of their life, live some kind of routine or program.
- 2:03:58To me, that's a form of slavery as well.
- 2:04:00Not quite on the level of starving the death of Africa,
- 2:04:03but it's still a form of brainwashing and programming to
- 2:04:08me. I don't like it.
- 2:04:10Yeah, those. But yeah, those people who,
- 2:04:14yeah, typically they're out of high school and they they sign
- 2:04:18some documents saying like, oh, I want this much money to go to
- 2:04:22school, but then yeah, they're paying for like 30-40 years.
- 2:04:27Still. So they're they're, they're
- 2:04:30probably, they're still enslaved by the debt.
- 2:04:36I guess you would call them debt slaves.
- 2:04:38But they're they're, it's nowhere near the amount of
- 2:04:41slavery across the world. Because, you know, there's
- 2:04:45there's companies like Nestle, you know, with the chocolate and
- 2:04:50there's cocoa bean farms like where there's.
- 2:04:54Slaves in these areas around the equator where, you know, that
- 2:05:00stuff grows and it's just children.
- 2:05:02You got to work fucking 12 hours a day or else you might not eat
- 2:05:07the next day. And that's that's horrible.
- 2:05:10Yeah, I just. I just think everybody in the
- 2:05:12world needs to acknowledge that. Like when you buy all that
- 2:05:17chocolate for. Halloween.
- 2:05:20How many? How many fucking children
- 2:05:23harvested that? Like a child should not be doing
- 2:05:27that? Yeah, it's another serious
- 2:05:31problem we have between the countries as a human trafficking
- 2:05:34issue. I don't know if you've been
- 2:05:36watching all this controversy on The Sound of Freedom, I think is
- 2:05:40what the movie's called. No, I've never heard of that.
- 2:05:43What's what's the sound of? Is that a documentary?
- 2:05:47It's a film with Jim Caviezel in it, I think is his name is
- 2:05:51pronounced and it's a movie about these cops, but not not
- 2:05:56cops. I think they're like FBI agents.
- 2:05:58Well, they were told that they couldn't go in and just save the
- 2:06:02kids and all that kind of stuff that they seen being trafficked.
- 2:06:06They were told that they need to stick with their job, basically
- 2:06:09don't get involved. So some of these agents ended up
- 2:06:13like leaving their job and then form their own organization
- 2:06:17where they would go in, you know it there was killing, obviously,
- 2:06:21in order to get kids out of human trafficking issues.
- 2:06:25You ain't heard of that? No, but it it sounds like the
- 2:06:32main problem we have is like there's there's good people who
- 2:06:37want to get do who want to do good things, but we all just
- 2:06:42work for corporations. The corporations own us and we
- 2:06:48got to do what they say or we're not going to be able to feed our
- 2:06:51families. So it's it's a paradox.
- 2:06:54I think corporations are like the worst thing that happened to
- 2:06:58humanity. The corporations are the reason
- 2:07:01why climate change exists and why the Earth is going to become
- 2:07:07a very unhospitable place in the future.
- 2:07:14See, that's one thing I've always found odd as a a person
- 2:07:18who I don't call myself conservative, but I'm the type
- 2:07:23of person who enjoys living in farm areas and country areas.
- 2:07:27I'm not around a whole lot of industry and a bunch of crazy
- 2:07:30shit. The air is nice, the water's
- 2:07:32good. It's it's weird because the
- 2:07:35people who claim to care so much about saving the planet and
- 2:07:38doing all these changes are the same ones who are running the
- 2:07:41billion dollar companies riding $1,000,000 jets across the
- 2:07:46country and all this kind of shit.
- 2:07:48Don't you find that weird? The very people who claim they
- 2:07:51care so much about the environment and animals are the
- 2:07:54ones who are doing the major killing.
- 2:07:56These are the motherfuckers who have 50 houses all over the
- 2:07:59United States of America running electricity and lights and shit.
- 2:08:05Yeah, it's it's very depressing because I would say, like, you
- 2:08:10know, what if I won the lottery tomorrow?
- 2:08:13If I won $500 million, I would not just get a private jet and
- 2:08:19you know, do all this crap like I would use that money to do
- 2:08:23something good. I would.
- 2:08:26I'd want to create a bunch of small businesses.
- 2:08:30And you know what if if they fail, they fail.
- 2:08:34But if they fail, they fail because there's a billion
- 2:08:38corporations out there and. I I would want to use some of
- 2:08:43that money to spread awareness maybe maybe put in put it into
- 2:08:48the Green Party, you know the Green Party of the United
- 2:08:53States. They they're so
- 2:08:56well-intentioned, but they're so disadvantaged in the American
- 2:09:00system, like where where they can't even get on the ballot in
- 2:09:04every state because they don't have enough money.
- 2:09:07And yeah, there was, I was listening to a podcast, Kyle
- 2:09:13Kolinsky, he he interviewed Jesse Ventura.
- 2:09:18You know Jesse Ventura, Yeah, the the wrestler, he's he
- 2:09:24actually, I like his voice. I think he's kind of funny too.
- 2:09:28Yeah, he he was the governor of Minnesota and the Green Party
- 2:09:32really wanted him. To run in like 2016 and 2020,
- 2:09:38but it's like we don't really have a lot of money and we we
- 2:09:41don't have the the funds and all of the things we need to get you
- 2:09:49on to the debate stage and to get you on to every ballot.
- 2:09:53But my God, if Jesse Ventura ran like he's such an amazing guy.
- 2:10:01Like he's a down to earth guy. You know, he moved to Mexico.
- 2:10:09I heard. I heard something about him
- 2:10:12moving out of the country. I didn't know it was Mexico,
- 2:10:16though. But yeah, he he knows like his.
- 2:10:23Oh, there's this great video on Kyle Kolinsky's channel where he
- 2:10:28is talking about Jesse Ventura. Because Jesse Ventura was
- 2:10:34talking about these billionaires and it's like, oh, they all just
- 2:10:38work harder than us and it's like, it's bullshit.
- 2:10:41Because he said out of high school he was he he had a job
- 2:10:49with the Minnesota bridge crew and his job was running a 90
- 2:10:54pound jackhammer like all fucking day.
- 2:10:57And he was barely making minimum wage, and he could barely live.
- 2:11:02And he was like, this is fucking bullshit.
- 2:11:04And he he knows like because Jesse Ventura went on to go into
- 2:11:10the WWE wrestling and he was in movies.
- 2:11:14Jesse Ventura was in. I I believe he was like in
- 2:11:17fucking Predator. Oh yeah, he's in Predator.
- 2:11:22He had the big mini gun and he was in another Schwarzenegger
- 2:11:26movie, fucking Total Recall. So.
- 2:11:29He he said, yeah, if I wasn't in those movies, I wouldn't have,
- 2:11:33you know, the Actors Guild, you know, like you get health care
- 2:11:38and stuff. Like he was like, I'm, I was
- 2:11:41lucky to to have that. And yeah, Jesse Ventura is
- 2:11:46fucking great and there's not enough people who have risen
- 2:11:50because he was governor. Like if he was governor he could
- 2:11:54definitely make a run for president.
- 2:11:56But. If if someone like him were
- 2:11:59president, like, I think America would change a lot.
- 2:12:04I know America is the root of all evil in in some cases and be
- 2:12:12very difficult. I had that same kind of thought
- 2:12:14process about Trump and he's just been getting mailed over
- 2:12:18and over. So I don't know even, I don't
- 2:12:22know if you ever watched George Carlin, but he even said himself
- 2:12:25that even if you did get somebody up there, there's so
- 2:12:28many obstacles and bullshit against you, it's difficult to
- 2:12:32make any real changes the way the system set up.
- 2:12:36Yeah, that's true to a certain extent.
- 2:12:38But we got to remember that Trump was a billionaire bitch
- 2:12:42who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
- 2:12:46His father was successful before him.
- 2:12:49So like there's no way like. I I remember I in 2016, I was
- 2:12:55excited when Trump got elected because I just didn't know what
- 2:13:00he was going to do. Like, I'm like, he's not a
- 2:13:03career politician. Maybe he'll shake some things
- 2:13:06up, maybe he'll shake some things up and maybe some things
- 2:13:11will change. But it it's just standard,
- 2:13:13standard crap like he just used his business connections to just
- 2:13:19enrich himself. And it was business as usual for
- 2:13:23the most part. Well, there he he did do a lot
- 2:13:27of really, really great accomplishments and all that.
- 2:13:30I actually did a video naming off some of the different things
- 2:13:33he did. One of the most important things
- 2:13:36that he did that nobody ever even talks about is you do
- 2:13:40realize there was a while back where if someone was dying and
- 2:13:46they didn't have a cure for it, that some other country claimed
- 2:13:49that they had an experimental drug, you couldn't go use it.
- 2:13:52You couldn't do anything unless you did things illegally or
- 2:13:56under the table. Well, he got it set up.
- 2:13:58To where in the medical field. If you think that there's an
- 2:14:02experimental drug that might help you with cancer or AIDS or
- 2:14:06something like that, or something that is going to kill
- 2:14:08you within a year, you can try anything you want.
- 2:14:11You just have to sign a paper that says, look, if your fucking
- 2:14:14toes fall off, you chose to do this kind of thing, so we
- 2:14:18weren't able to do that before because of him.
- 2:14:21Now you can do anything or whatever it takes to try to save
- 2:14:25your life. Yeah, a lot of that alternative
- 2:14:30medicine that doesn't work. I mean, they call it alternative
- 2:14:34medicine for a reason. I mean, there's so many medical
- 2:14:39benefits to marijuana. And Trump as president, as the
- 2:14:44commanderinchief. He had the power to change the
- 2:14:47drug scheduling because marijuana is a schedule one drug
- 2:14:52that makes it persona non grata. And he could have changed the
- 2:14:57scheduling to like schedule three or four where it would
- 2:15:05effectively be legal and. There's so many proven
- 2:15:10treatments of marijuana related medications like where they they
- 2:15:15stop seizures and there it's a way better pain medication than
- 2:15:24all of these opioids that caused the opioid endemic.
- 2:15:28But he didn't do that. Like, I don't know, it's Trump
- 2:15:35just wasn't good. Yeah, I hear you.
- 2:15:45Oh, goodness. So what?
- 2:15:47Got you what? Huh.
- 2:15:49Can you hear me? I'm sorry.
- 2:15:51I'm having a little. You alright?
- 2:15:52Right. Like you're like, I didn't know
- 2:15:55you were having a stroke or something.
- 2:15:57No, I'm. I've got some back issues and I
- 2:16:00was trying to move my muscle. Unfortunately it felt kind of
- 2:16:04like it feels kind of like you're getting stabbed whenever
- 2:16:07you hit it wrong. A nerve or something.
- 2:16:10Been having back problems lately, but what inspired you to
- 2:16:14start looking in the Buddhism? What?
- 2:16:16Why the interest in that? Yeah, like I said, I've, I've
- 2:16:21always been interested in the subject of reincarnation and
- 2:16:25just everything I've heard about it's it's very compelling like
- 2:16:30I. As I said, I I might have
- 2:16:33mentioned this earlier, but dogma is detrimental.
- 2:16:38We shouldn't stick with dogma like I I believe there's a good
- 2:16:43idea in Buddhism, but maybe it needs to evolve a bit like I'm
- 2:16:48not going to, I'm not going to dogmatically follow all of the
- 2:16:52teachings even though I know some of those teachings have
- 2:16:56some merit. But reincarnation I I I just.
- 2:17:01I just think it's a big possibility as I've heard people
- 2:17:10use words and stuff, especially in the skeptic community about
- 2:17:15religion teaches dog men all that could.
- 2:17:19If you wouldn't mind, just to do a little bit of a challenge
- 2:17:22here. Can you name three things that
- 2:17:24Jesus said that you would be considered dogmatic or something
- 2:17:28that needs to be modernized? 3 things Jesus directly Said.
- 2:17:34Well, one thing he said that he said, cuz you know, was the New
- 2:17:40Testament, he said. No, no matter of the law would
- 2:17:45be changed like speaking to the Old Testament.
- 2:17:49But like he contradicted himself a lot.
- 2:17:53Like he said a lot of new things that weren't in the Old
- 2:17:55Testament or were interpreted different in the New Testament.
- 2:17:59But he also said like no matter of law in the Old Testament
- 2:18:02would be changed and. So I don't know.
- 2:18:10Well, how did he contradict himself?
- 2:18:12He said that several times. There's a lot of Christians out
- 2:18:16there that contradict Jesus. But Jesus didn't contradict
- 2:18:19himself. Like there's Christians who say
- 2:18:21they're no longer under the law. But the Bible clearly has.
- 2:18:25Jesus says if you love me, you'll keep my commandments and
- 2:18:28laws forever. And what are those commandments?
- 2:18:31Don't kill people. Don't hurt people, Don't lie to
- 2:18:34people. Don't do that.
- 2:18:35These are ancient ideas, but they still they If someone
- 2:18:40follows them, whether they're an atheist or religion, it makes
- 2:18:44you into a good person. People that want to be around
- 2:18:46you if you're not a killer or a liar, right?
- 2:18:49Not necessarily, because one of the commandments is have no gods
- 2:18:55before me like the Christian God is a jealous God.
- 2:18:59So if if you did believe in a different God, like.
- 2:19:05A God that wasn't the Christian God.
- 2:19:07They're Christians who are going to acknowledge that and oh, they
- 2:19:12were like, oh, the Bible says like have no gods before me.
- 2:19:15So like this guy's a piece of shit.
- 2:19:17So like I think you would just need more clarification on that
- 2:19:21as well. Let me throw something at you to
- 2:19:25see how you handle this out. Do you have any kids or nephews
- 2:19:29and nieces that you consider very close to you?
- 2:19:34I don't have kids. I wish I had kids.
- 2:19:38I do have some nieces, but we're not very close.
- 2:19:42My sister has raised them in Texas for a long time and I just
- 2:19:48don't really have much contact with them.
- 2:19:51But what was your question? Well, let's try this then,
- 2:19:55because I know for a fact that you got a mom and all that.
- 2:19:58You pointed out your biological mother, right?
- 2:20:02Yeah. Okay.
- 2:20:04So let's say that there's a woman that's hanging out with
- 2:20:07your mom. Maybe it's a friend or just
- 2:20:09somebody that's visiting or whatever, And you start treating
- 2:20:13this woman a lot like you treat your mom.
- 2:20:15You're giving her hugs and telling her how awesome of a
- 2:20:19mother she is right in front of your real mother.
- 2:20:22And your mother tells you one day, Look, it kind of bothers
- 2:20:25me, the way you act towards this other woman.
- 2:20:29You say that she's your mother when she's not.
- 2:20:32You say that she is important to you over other people, but she's
- 2:20:36not really your mother. All that and it's making me
- 2:20:40jealous. It's irritating me to happen.
- 2:20:43Does that make your biological mother bad for telling you that
- 2:20:46she's jealous and doesn't want you to look at anybody else like
- 2:20:50their mother because she's the one that had you?
- 2:20:54Well, no, that's just a personal feeling.
- 2:20:57I would say in in my own experience, my mom is a late in
- 2:21:03life lesbian. My mother is visiting her
- 2:21:07girlfriend in Canada right now. So if I were ever to say those
- 2:21:11things that you said, I said in a hypothetical situation, it
- 2:21:15would be with my mother's girlfriend, and my mother would
- 2:21:18probably appreciate that. If you called her girlfriend,
- 2:21:23mother and treated her like that, well, I don't know.
- 2:21:28She's very close. I don't know.
- 2:21:30If they get married, I'm going to have to call her mom because
- 2:21:33she's my stepmom, I guess. I don't know.
- 2:21:36Well, that's kind of an unusual example.
- 2:21:40Let's try to use something you're Are you in a relationship
- 2:21:44with the fiance? Are you married or anything like
- 2:21:47that? I told you last week, me and my
- 2:21:49wife, our relationship fell apart.
- 2:21:52We're not officially divorced, but I haven't spoken with her in
- 2:21:56a while. And I'm definitely open to some
- 2:22:01tale. But I'm.
- 2:22:03I'm not trying. I'm not trying.
- 2:22:06I'm not going to try to get any tale like if if some woman, if
- 2:22:12some woman just threw herself at me, I'm not going to say no.
- 2:22:16But I know I'm a toxic motherfucker and if I try to
- 2:22:20pursue somebody it's it's going to end badly.
- 2:22:26Well, I was basically going to try to do the same hypothetical
- 2:22:30that I did with the mom thing. But you, I think you get the
- 2:22:34point if you know that you're if you were fathering a child or
- 2:22:38whatever and you did the best you could to do that and then
- 2:22:41suddenly your kids calling some other man father.
- 2:22:45And all that. And you're not in some kind of
- 2:22:46homosexual relationship with this person.
- 2:22:50You would have that personal feeling of, wait, you know,
- 2:22:53that's between me and my son. This is supposed to be our
- 2:22:56relationship and connection. And you wouldn't want to see
- 2:22:59someone else being taking your place.
- 2:23:03So what I'm basically saying whenever it comes to God, I
- 2:23:07don't really. When I hear people mention that,
- 2:23:09they say it as if this somehow makes God.
- 2:23:13Mean or something? Or terrible for saying, look, I
- 2:23:17am the one who did this, I'm the one who created you and gave you
- 2:23:21life. Of course, if it's God has
- 2:23:23feelings or emotions, it's going to be irritating if you start
- 2:23:27worshipping like a toilet bowl or something like that.
- 2:23:30Or idol worship, right? Yeah, I'd have to say I have a
- 2:23:33similar experience, actually, because my mother and father
- 2:23:39were divorced before I could even remember.
- 2:23:42And I consider like my mom had a boyfriend.
- 2:23:47They never married, but I was around maybe 10 years old, maybe
- 2:23:5610 years old to 16 years old or maybe 17 or 18.
- 2:24:02But yeah, I considered him my father.
- 2:24:05I never called him father because it was weird because
- 2:24:08they never married. But if that ever happened to me,
- 2:24:13it would be my fault. Because if I had a child with a
- 2:24:20woman creating, creating a life, I I would, I would do everything
- 2:24:28I can to, to make sure my child grew up with a mother and father
- 2:24:33in the same home, not in a broken home like I grew up in.
- 2:24:38So. But you know, even if that
- 2:24:41happened, even if I fucked up, even if I screwed up and I
- 2:24:44fucked up my relationship like I fucked up every other
- 2:24:47relationship, If my child calls his stepdad father, well yeah,
- 2:24:56that's on me. Because I didn't.
- 2:24:58I wasn't the father that he needed.
- 2:25:01And if if he likes his stepdad that much, because my mom
- 2:25:05definitely had some boyfriends that I didn't like.
- 2:25:10So but if if he had a stepfather and called him father, I guess
- 2:25:18that would make me feel sad, but it would be my fault.
- 2:25:24Well, I'm sure if you were to reflect and say to yourself and
- 2:25:28try to point out reasons to blame yourself for this, sure.
- 2:25:33But from the perspective of the concept of like a God who has
- 2:25:37created the life. Give the life, every resource
- 2:25:40possible to exist and and gave it a destiny and a faith and all
- 2:25:45that. You can understand why there
- 2:25:46would be some anger or animosity if you know somebody started
- 2:25:51worshipping like a toilet bowl or something, right?
- 2:25:55I guess so. But if, if I were a if you're
- 2:25:58saying that I were a God who created people and I was their
- 2:26:03father, if I was the godfather and they started worshipping a
- 2:26:09toilet bowl, I would start thinking to myself, what did I
- 2:26:12do wrong? I did something wrong to make
- 2:26:15these people start worshipping a toilet.
- 2:26:17It's my fault. Why would you think that if
- 2:26:21you've given them everything that you could possibly do,
- 2:26:23sometimes there's parents out there that they do stay close
- 2:26:27and connected. They give their kid everything.
- 2:26:29And then, I mean, take for instance, we were talking about
- 2:26:33that old boy while before Jeffrey Dahmer.
- 2:26:37He had a good father, had a father who tried to raise him
- 2:26:40right. Even Jeffrey Dahmer said in his
- 2:26:43interview just weeks before he died that his father was there
- 2:26:46for him and loved him and cared about him.
- 2:26:48It's just the kid decided to go off and, well, you know, chop
- 2:26:52people up and eat him. It wasn't his deal.
- 2:26:55Yeah, he was a psycho, though. He was a fucking psycho.
- 2:26:59Well, that's the point. Why couldn't you look at it like
- 2:27:02that? Why is it have to be the
- 2:27:04parents? Issue, aren't it?
- 2:27:06There's parents out there that'll bend over backwards.
- 2:27:09They'll die for their kids, you know?
- 2:27:11And in the sense of religion, God practically did do that.
- 2:27:17I wouldn't say so. I guess in the religion you
- 2:27:20believe, but the God that you believe in didn't provide us
- 2:27:25with everything we need. Like, there's people starving,
- 2:27:27there's people in pain, there's war, there's so much evil shit
- 2:27:32in this world. And yeah, if they're if the God
- 2:27:38you believed in existed, like it's totally fair for people to
- 2:27:43not like him or even believe in him.
- 2:27:46Well, that's the thing. Remember I was telling you
- 2:27:48there, like with Africa, Christians go over there in
- 2:27:51ministries and they bring tons and tons of packets of food to
- 2:27:55feed people. And then next thing they know,
- 2:27:58somebody's tribes drag them off and then set them on fire after
- 2:28:02beating the hell out of them with stones and sticks.
- 2:28:04So. I mean, there's just so much you
- 2:28:06can do. Now.
- 2:28:08If you're thinking maybe God should be more aggressive and
- 2:28:12forceful, well, he did do that too.
- 2:28:14The Bible says that he actually went after people and tried to
- 2:28:18completely get evil out of the world.
- 2:28:21But the first thing an unbeliever will say is, well,
- 2:28:23wait a minute, your God did an entire reset.
- 2:28:27He, like, cleaned the whole plant and started over again.
- 2:28:31So he's. The point is, is that God has
- 2:28:34tried every single alternative to move us in the right
- 2:28:38direction, and for whatever reason, we build nukes to blow
- 2:28:42each other up. We build corporations to take
- 2:28:45advantage of the week. At some point in time, God steps
- 2:28:49in. This means that free will no
- 2:28:51longer has any kind of value. He has to completely do a reset.
- 2:28:59Yeah, I don't. I don't know if I would agree
- 2:29:01that there was ever a point in humanity where we had everything
- 2:29:07we needed and we just fucked it up.
- 2:29:09Like humanity has always been struggling because we've always
- 2:29:12been alone. We've always had to just do what
- 2:29:15we needed to do to survive and to survive.
- 2:29:18Some people would hurt other people, and that's survival.
- 2:29:22It's it's not good, but that's just life.
- 2:29:27But do you agree that if somebody truly goes along with
- 2:29:30the philosophy of do harm to others and love your neighbor
- 2:29:34and all that you shouldn't, you yourself personally should not
- 2:29:38be suffering? If you're next to somebody who
- 2:29:41actually sincerely believes that they should be willing to help
- 2:29:44you with food, willing to help you give the shirt off their
- 2:29:47back and do all these kind of things.
- 2:29:49Unfortunately a lot of people like you said in our last
- 2:29:52discussion, are very selfish and very self absorbed.
- 2:29:56Very for their materialistic thing, walk past the homeless
- 2:29:59person on the street. But if they actually did what
- 2:30:03Jesus said, you have to agree. The world would be better that
- 2:30:06way. Yeah, of course, if people
- 2:30:10followed the this small book of morals that Christians don't
- 2:30:16seem to follow. This is the morality of Jesus,
- 2:30:21not the whole entire Bible. So yeah, I wish people would act
- 2:30:28like that, but you know, that's not the world we live in.
- 2:30:31Some people they it's it's a dog eat dog world as they would say.
- 2:30:41Where does all this evil come from though?
- 2:30:45I mean, who's doing the who's doing the pain and the
- 2:30:48suffering? Who's dealing out the the ass
- 2:30:50whoop on humanity? It's our governments, it's the
- 2:30:53people that we vote for and put into these roles of power that
- 2:30:58do this. 90% of the pain that happens in this world is
- 2:31:02self-inflicted. Well, yeah, evil is just a
- 2:31:08description that we use to ascribe to things that humans
- 2:31:16do. It's just, you know, if you just
- 2:31:19look at our world right now, there's a lot more evil going on
- 2:31:23because of corporations. They have all the power, all the
- 2:31:26money, and if they're lackeys, don't listen to them, then they
- 2:31:32don't get paid. So people have to do things they
- 2:31:34don't want to do, or maybe they're indoctrinated into
- 2:31:38wanting to do it. Because you know what?
- 2:31:40This is the right thing. If you don't do the right thing,
- 2:31:42then you're going to be, you know, homeless on the street.
- 2:31:45So it's just a very different world what we live in today
- 2:31:50compared to biblical times. OKI, got an interesting
- 2:31:57hypothetical for you. Let's say tomorrow when you wake
- 2:32:01up, you look out your window. When you see something extremely
- 2:32:06unusual happening in the sky. It's like all the clouds are
- 2:32:10gathering into a dark circle. And you see an entity basically
- 2:32:14descend upon the biggest city that that you know of and it
- 2:32:19like purchase itself from the highest building and says, all
- 2:32:23right humans, you guys won't get your shit together.
- 2:32:27So now I'm going to sit here for as long as you exist and I am
- 2:32:31going to make it to where you guys are going to do right
- 2:32:34whether you like it or not. Would you prefer that, or would
- 2:32:37you prefer the God who will help those who actually, sincerely
- 2:32:42want it? Or for him to force his hand?
- 2:32:45If you had an option, which one would you prefer?
- 2:32:48Well, I've seen no evidence of a God helping people who want
- 2:32:53help. Like, there's so much history of
- 2:32:59like, you know, like Mother Teresa, like she embraced
- 2:33:03suffering and she was a horrible person.
- 2:33:06She tried to get people to believe in Jesus and believe
- 2:33:09that their suffering is divine. And it's it's bullshit.
- 2:33:14Like if if a being came down tomorrow and it's like, I run
- 2:33:18this shit now, you guys are a bunch of fucking hairless apes
- 2:33:22who need to be taught how to be, how to live, I'd be like, oh
- 2:33:26hell yeah, because our world is fucked up.
- 2:33:29We're fucking up our world. We're destroying it.
- 2:33:32We're destroying all the animal life.
- 2:33:35We're destroying the the whole environment.
- 2:33:39Like, yeah, somebody else come and teach us how to live.
- 2:33:44I would love that. So you do accept that there's
- 2:33:48actual objective evil that is existing in this world and it
- 2:33:53need it should be fixed? I wouldn't call it objective
- 2:33:59evil, evil. It's some people are just
- 2:34:05sociopaths who are not necessarily evil.
- 2:34:11They're just extremely selfish and they're sociopathic and
- 2:34:16they're creating great harm and they don't even realize it
- 2:34:20because they're just they, they don't think like normal people.
- 2:34:26But those, those are the people who have the power.
- 2:34:31I just, I just get the idea that the way you perceive existence
- 2:34:36and humanity. That you see that humanity's
- 2:34:38destroying itself and causing a lot of unnecessary pain.
- 2:34:42For others, it seems like you really, really.
- 2:34:45The way you said that, it seemed like you sincerely would love to
- 2:34:49see God come down and actually knock people on their ass and
- 2:34:53say enough. Is that something you'd really,
- 2:34:57really like to see? Yeah, I'd love to see that.
- 2:35:02I wish it would happen. Come on, God, do it.
- 2:35:04What are you waiting for? Why are we all suffering?
- 2:35:07Here and you are. Hold on.
- 2:35:12Before you say anything else, I just want to say that, like
- 2:35:15earlier in the day, I was fantasizing.
- 2:35:20What? What if I had Thor's hammer?
- 2:35:23And if I had all the the power of Thor?
- 2:35:27I would take over the world. I would take over the world and
- 2:35:31I would make the world right. We need to make humanity as
- 2:35:37equal as possible. I know, of course that you know,
- 2:35:41if you work harder, if you do more interesting things that
- 2:35:45benefit more people or more things that people like, you
- 2:35:50should earn more. But there shouldn't be people
- 2:35:54with $50 billion and people with nothing like hungry in the
- 2:36:01street. I got to even that out a little
- 2:36:05bit, like billions of dollars and dirt.
- 2:36:10I got to even that out to here. And it's like, you know what?
- 2:36:14Between here and here, there might be a billion dollars.
- 2:36:17So maybe there might be successful people.
- 2:36:19But if I had Thor's hammer, I would fix the world.
- 2:36:26You know, last week I told you sound very theistic.
- 2:36:30When you think of the stuff that you have read about Jesus, did
- 2:36:34he hang out with corporations or billionaires or did he hang out
- 2:36:37with the poor? From your perspective, Well,
- 2:36:42yeah, Jesus basically told you. Like it's easier for a camel to
- 2:36:48go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into
- 2:36:52the Kingdom. He he preached constantly
- 2:36:56against the rich. And if you had extra money, you
- 2:37:00give it to the poor. So that's great, I like that.
- 2:37:03But that's not what many modern Christians believe nowadays.
- 2:37:11Well, I agree with that. I agree with what you're saying.
- 2:37:13Aren't that so God comes down. Would you expect him to like
- 2:37:22program people to do right? Or should he kill all the people
- 2:37:27who are sociopaths? What?
- 2:37:29What do you? What is the plan?
- 2:37:31Let's say that you are, like, fully connected with God and can
- 2:37:35basically give him advice or suggestions on how to handle
- 2:37:39evil assholes out there. What would be the solution for
- 2:37:42you? Well, you're talking about God.
- 2:37:47I I was going into your hypothetical situation if like
- 2:37:51an alien came down, but I guess God is basically an alien if if
- 2:37:59you think about it that way. But all all all they have to do
- 2:38:05is just adjust numbers in our computer systems like a higher
- 2:38:10being would be able to do that. Say you don't have all the
- 2:38:15numbers, these people have all the numbers and that would
- 2:38:20balance it out pretty well. Yeah, but a hacker could get
- 2:38:25into the computers right now, not even be a God, and change
- 2:38:28the numbers on people, white, rich people's bank accounts, and
- 2:38:33do a Robin Hood thing digitally. But sooner or later it's going
- 2:38:37to come back. People are going to wonder who
- 2:38:39did this and who did that. I'm saying that if God actually
- 2:38:43showed himself to the entire world and you had the
- 2:38:46opportunity to actually talk directly to him face to face,
- 2:38:51what would you? Advise him on how to deal with
- 2:38:55what you consider evil or wrong in the world.
- 2:38:58What would you suggest to it? You know what this is something
- 2:39:04I've thought about like it. It relates to your question, but
- 2:39:08like I thought, like if I had a genie and if I had three wishes,
- 2:39:14one of my wishes would be I wish every human being on earth who
- 2:39:20is worth more than $100,000. Anybody who has over $100,000 in
- 2:39:28net worth being that property or stocks or cash, Everybody who
- 2:39:36has that amount transport them to a large base on the dark side
- 2:39:45of the moon. An expansive base with unlimited
- 2:39:50power, unlimited food, unlimited water, unlimited resources, and
- 2:39:55an intranet. Not Internet intranet where they
- 2:40:01could access anything they wanted.
- 2:40:03Just put them over there and maybe the world would see, oh
- 2:40:08wow, all those rich people just disappeared.
- 2:40:11But the rich people wouldn't be destroyed.
- 2:40:13They would be on a base on the dark side of the moon.
- 2:40:17And I guess that's what I would ask God, if they really existed.
- 2:40:23So what if the God went ahead along with what you're saying,
- 2:40:26and said I'm going to go ahead and mess with the money and I'm
- 2:40:29going to mess with the balance? I'm going to take everything
- 2:40:32that people desire or have ambitions from them and only
- 2:40:37give them what they need and they must do right or they
- 2:40:40disappear onto the dark side of the moon.
- 2:40:43But then he looks at you and says I'm going to be taking your
- 2:40:45computer because that's not necessary.
- 2:40:48I'm going to take all of your equipment and material things.
- 2:40:51Would you be okay with making that sacrifice along with the
- 2:40:55people who are going to lose everything they may have worked
- 2:40:58for inherited? Yeah, of course if I if I had to
- 2:41:02sacrifice all my garbage. So people, children wouldn't
- 2:41:07have to starve. Children wouldn't have to worry
- 2:41:10about drones bombing their city. If children didn't have to worry
- 2:41:17about all this stuff, then yeah, I'd give up fucking everything
- 2:41:21and live and walk the earth as a hermit.
- 2:41:25I would do that in a heartbeat. But hold on.
- 2:41:27I'm sorry I got to pee again. I'm so sorry.
- 2:41:30Alrighty, man. It's all good.
- 2:41:34Hello folks out there. If anyone would like to come in,
- 2:41:37I'm going to be doing this for a little bit longer.
- 2:41:40If anybody wants to join, let me post the link out again that's
- 2:41:45already posted up for people. Oh let's see a PS:.
- 2:41:52Says So you want to take other people's money that they work
- 2:41:56for and even out the wealth. I think that his it's not so
- 2:42:01much the he can correct me if he hears me and thinks I'm wrong.
- 2:42:07I think it's the unnecessary shit that people do with money
- 2:42:11and the waste of money. There's an overabundance of
- 2:42:15income that goes on with a lot of the, you know, top people.
- 2:42:19And I think that he would like to see the poor and the
- 2:42:23unwealthy be treated with some more dignity and integrity.
- 2:42:28At least have the necessities such as food, drink and, you
- 2:42:31know, roofs over their head, that kind of thing.
- 2:42:36Were you able to hear any of that, that I said to this person
- 2:42:39that here? No, no, I'm sorry, but if it
- 2:42:42doesn't pertain to me, then whatever.
- 2:42:44Well, the person was asking you, so you want to take other
- 2:42:49people's money that they worked for and even out the wealth.
- 2:42:52That was their question to you, How many billionaires actually
- 2:42:57work for their money? I mean, most billionaires have
- 2:43:03inherited it. Well, if if they weren't
- 2:43:06billionaires, they inherited something from their parents
- 2:43:12that enabled them. Because money makes money.
- 2:43:16Like, if you have a certain amount of money, you could just
- 2:43:18make investments. Just invest certain amounts of
- 2:43:22money and you'll make that back. Like Mo, I would say no
- 2:43:28billionaire deserves their profit.
- 2:43:30Because even if you worked, even if you worked to make a billion
- 2:43:35dollars from nothing, that means that you're underpaying your
- 2:43:40employees and you're outsourcing your jobs to China and Mexico
- 2:43:47and places like that. Like, I I don't believe there's
- 2:43:50an honest billionaire on this earth.
- 2:43:52So atheist, get the fuck out of here.
- 2:44:02Well, I I'm listening to you and I agree with a majority what
- 2:44:07you're saying, but I was a little perplexed by the last
- 2:44:10statement. Atheist.
- 2:44:11Get the fuck out of here. Where'd that come from?
- 2:44:14I said. Cuz isn't that the screen name?
- 2:44:17Ape. Atheist.
- 2:44:19Is that no? I thought you said atheist to
- 2:44:21get the atheist. I guess he thinks he's an ape or
- 2:44:31something. Is that How do you think?
- 2:44:24Is it? Is it abeist?
- 2:44:26Is that how it's supposed to be pronounced?
- 2:44:36Yes, Sir. No, he goes hard earned money.
- 2:44:39It's just like fucking Trump. He didn't earn shit.
- 2:44:42He just had, like, if you give a fucking crackhead a billion
- 2:44:46dollars, he's going to get people like he's not a crackhead
- 2:44:50is not going to spend a billion dollars on crack.
- 2:44:53Like people are going to know he has money.
- 2:44:56It's like, oh OK, oh, just invest with us and do this
- 2:44:59investment and oh, hey, I got an idea to start a business and
- 2:45:03like, like the crackhead with a billion dollars.
- 2:45:06Even if, even if he's the biggest crackhead on earth, by
- 2:45:11the time he dies, he's going to at least double his money.
- 2:45:18Are you aware that I believe what's his name?
- 2:45:22Zach Zutterberg? Or whatever the hell his name
- 2:45:26is? Zuckerberg.
- 2:45:26The Facebook guy. Yeah, him as well as Bill Gates
- 2:45:30who actually owns Microsoft. You know they're both non
- 2:45:34believers, right? Well, yeah, Remember, there's
- 2:45:42there's a saying that. What is it?
- 2:45:51If you're in a foxhole, you probably have a lot of faith,
- 2:45:55Somebody who has nothing and is in danger of being fucking shot
- 2:46:00or exploded. You probably got a lot of faith
- 2:46:04if you got all the money in the world.
- 2:46:06I mean, I can't speak to Mark Zuckerberg, but like, I know
- 2:46:09that Bill Bill Gates's family had money.
- 2:46:14Like he, Bill Gates never fucking struggled.
- 2:46:17Like people who struggle have a lot of faith and that's how
- 2:46:23churches and religions make money.
- 2:46:27They take advantage of people who have nothing.
- 2:46:31And maybe there's 100 million people who have nothing, but
- 2:46:35they give you a dollar or $20. And that's how the churches get
- 2:46:40rich because it's like, oh, if you give your money to God, then
- 2:46:46you will be rich. Like, yeah.
- 2:46:50Oh, there's what? What is that?
- 2:46:51The Those ministries where it's fuck, what's it called?
- 2:46:57It's, it's on the tip of my tongue.
- 2:47:00There's these ministries. Oh, the the something gospel.
- 2:47:10Oh, the prosperity gospel. Have you ever heard of that?
- 2:47:14Yeah, I was point the reason why I mentioned Bill Gates and the
- 2:47:19guy of Facebook, don't you find it unusual you said that one of
- 2:47:23the things that aggravates you about this world is these
- 2:47:26extremely rich, wealthy corporations.
- 2:47:29You do realize a lot of these extremely wealthy corporations
- 2:47:33that don't give to anybody are usually ran by godless people,
- 2:47:37right? And sure, there's some churches
- 2:47:40out there, some mega churches rammed by people.
- 2:47:43I was watching the documentary a while back of this really famous
- 2:47:46preacher where after he became old and no longer was running
- 2:47:51the church but made tons of money.
- 2:47:53He said I was an atheist the majority of the time, but I was
- 2:47:57making so much money and shit off these people, then you know,
- 2:48:01what's the deal? Yeah, that.
- 2:48:04That just speaks to every like the 99% of people who would say
- 2:48:11they're religious because they have nothing they need to
- 2:48:14believe in something. That's that's all that's that's
- 2:48:19why the Dune Part 2 trailer brought me to tears.
- 2:48:24Because are you familiar with Dune?
- 2:48:29You're talking about the I've seen a book and also watched an
- 2:48:33old movie. This is about the drug trade in
- 2:48:35space. Yeah.
- 2:48:38Hold on. Let me, let me get you.
- 2:48:40Let me grab my other books. All right.
- 2:48:44Got some good novels back there, man.
- 2:48:55Hold on, I got my books here. Let me just plug in my
- 2:48:58headphones. See.
- 2:49:04Because Dune. It was written in the 60s.
- 2:49:10It's it's about humanity, like 20,000 years in our future, like
- 2:49:17we've forgotten everything. But there are people who
- 2:49:21establish religions. There's this coven of women, the
- 2:49:28Benny Jesuit, who have ceded prophecies in different worlds
- 2:49:34like hundreds of years before. So the main character in Dune,
- 2:49:40his mother, is a Benny Jeseret. And when when him and his mother
- 2:49:46and his father come to the planet Dune, also known as
- 2:49:50Arachus, the prophecies line up with what the Bennett Jeseret
- 2:49:58seeded the planet hundreds or thousands of years ago.
- 2:50:04So it's basically he, the main character takes advantage
- 2:50:11because his his father was killed and tried to take tried
- 2:50:16try. There's a rival family who tried
- 2:50:21to eliminate him and his whole family so they can get property
- 2:50:26over Dune, which is a major planet and but it's it's there.
- 2:50:32There are desert people. They're called the Fremen and
- 2:50:36the Fremen were the people who are seated with this religion.
- 2:50:41But he uses that he he says like I am the Messiah, I am Muadib or
- 2:50:48Lisa Alghayeb like it was it was a religion that was seated.
- 2:50:53It was a prophecy. But it it wasn't.
- 2:50:56It was just a story that was told hundreds of years ago.
- 2:51:00But he uses that to manipulate the people of this planet, take
- 2:51:06advantage of their faith and he takes control of Dune the
- 2:51:13planet. And Dune is an important planet
- 2:51:18you need you need an element of it's called Spice on Dune for
- 2:51:25space travel. There's an element called Spice
- 2:51:28that is essential for space travel and he uses that like
- 2:51:34because the whole Galaxy or universe.
- 2:51:38I'm not sure how big it is but like they depend on this element
- 2:51:43on this planet. But he uses the prophecy to take
- 2:51:47control of the people and they take control of the planet.
- 2:51:51But he's he's not a prophet. Everything that comes from that
- 2:51:55is bad. He like after he overthrows the
- 2:52:00Emperor, he becomes a tyrant. He's worse than any other
- 2:52:06emperor that has ever existed. And it it's it's all because of
- 2:52:14the prophecies that they took advantage of, like.
- 2:52:19Well, is it? Is it because of the people's
- 2:52:21fault and their faith and the prophecies?
- 2:52:25Or is it because someone willfully?
- 2:52:27Didn't give a damn about their faith or them as people and just
- 2:52:31wanted to enslave somebody. No, like I said, the prophecies
- 2:52:36were false. They were implanted hundreds of
- 2:52:40years ago. So so it's it's similar to our
- 2:52:44world right now. So like if if if somebody came
- 2:52:48from another planet and they said that they were Jesus and
- 2:52:52they might have some special abilities, like the Christians
- 2:52:58of this world will believe it, and if that person had negative
- 2:53:03intentions that could fuck up our whole world like it's.
- 2:53:08You're right. And that's actually all that
- 2:53:11that you just said is biblical. And that's actually supposed to
- 2:53:16happen. Yeah, that's why Dune the the
- 2:53:22author was a genius. And he he knew about the
- 2:53:26Abrahamic religions like. So that's why there's a lot of
- 2:53:32Islamic, Muslim terms and ideas in it because he studied many
- 2:53:44religions and the the main character he becomes the
- 2:53:49Messiah. Oh, hold on, see, the hold on
- 2:53:55the second Dune book is called Dune Messiah, and it's it's
- 2:54:02about the aftermath because everybody believes he was the
- 2:54:06Messiah, but he was not, because the prophecy was bullshit.
- 2:54:11It was just implanted. So it's the aftermath after he
- 2:54:15took control of the whole universe.
- 2:54:20It it didn't end up well for everybody like it was.
- 2:54:24And there's a character called Stillgar where he he believed
- 2:54:29like he was on the planet Dune and he was waiting for the
- 2:54:33Messiah his whole life. Just like everybody on earth,
- 2:54:38everybody has been waiting for Jesus to return their whole
- 2:54:42life. But like after he sees what
- 2:54:45happens after, after Muadib takes control like he's not the
- 2:54:54Messiah, everything turns out bad, maybe even worse than it
- 2:54:58was before. And that's that's why I love
- 2:55:02Dune. It sounds a lot like the story
- 2:55:05of Revelation about a figure coming into existence becoming a
- 2:55:10part of the system, claiming to be doing everything in the name
- 2:55:14of righteousness and good and leads people to their death.
- 2:55:17Yeah, that's what. That's what all religion is,
- 2:55:21dude. Got out?
- 2:55:24That atheist person is asking if you're an atheist.
- 2:55:30Yeah, I'm an atheist, atheist, atheist.
- 2:55:34I am an atheist. I don't believe any anything
- 2:55:42beyond our universe created our universe.
- 2:55:46It's just a ridiculous notion to me, not an atheist.
- 2:55:50Like, just because I I am spiritual.
- 2:55:53There are some spiritual things that I've there's some spiritual
- 2:55:58things that I believe. But it doesn't mean a God
- 2:56:03created us in our universe. Why do you think the idea of
- 2:56:08some entity creating a universe is ridiculous?
- 2:56:13For why does it sound silly to you?
- 2:56:16I've said this many times before.
- 2:56:18Where did that entity come from? If that entity came from
- 2:56:22nothing, why couldn't our universe come from nothing?
- 2:56:26Well, that's not the not to get on your nerves or anything like
- 2:56:31that, but what you describe as God is not the definition of
- 2:56:35God. I've heard a couple nonbelievers
- 2:56:38say that. Where did God come from?
- 2:56:40The very definition of God. To be a God is to be eternal, to
- 2:56:45not have a birth or a death to you, to be all existent.
- 2:56:49It's a very attribute of God. Well, why?
- 2:56:53Why isn't our universe eternal? Well that's not what the eternal
- 2:56:59a lot of religious people as well as non believers usually go
- 2:57:02with the claims of scientists making.
- 2:57:05Usually the claim is that they already tried the whole.
- 2:57:09I believe they called it the static universe theory or
- 2:57:13something. A while back, about 50 years
- 2:57:16ago, they were claiming the universe was eternal.
- 2:57:19But then it was actually a Catholic who came up with the
- 2:57:22idea. But it was an atheist who
- 2:57:24verified and validated it based upon the radiation and the
- 2:57:28spreading of the universe. Stephen Hawking.
- 2:57:31So you got to blame atheists. They're the ones who validated
- 2:57:34the Catholics theory about the universe.
- 2:57:37Well, I I would say that we still don't know.
- 2:57:41We don't know about the origin of the universe.
- 2:57:45It's just it's just like our planet Earth, you know, even if
- 2:57:49you're scientific, like our Earth never existed like for in
- 2:57:55eternity. Like our Earth is a result of
- 2:58:00different gases and particles mixing together and then our our
- 2:58:06sun was formed out of different particles and then there was a
- 2:58:11fusion reaction and then that created the gravity of our solar
- 2:58:17system and that snowballed into creating our Earth and all the
- 2:58:24other planets in our solar system.
- 2:58:26It's it's like the same thing could have happened with our
- 2:58:30universe. A PAPS says things are
- 2:58:35degrading. It's proof there had to be a
- 2:58:37beginning, basically. His idea is that things had to
- 2:58:41start because. We're affected by the second law
- 2:58:44of thermodynamics called entropy.
- 2:58:47You know what entropy is? No, I haven't heard of it.
- 2:58:51Well, it's a law of the universe that states that everything will
- 2:58:54die, everything will age, everything will get old, because
- 2:58:58the concept of time exists within all of it.
- 2:59:02Everything that you see around you will degrade and be
- 2:59:05destroyed. It's that's like a scientific
- 2:59:08fact and that's why it's the second law of thermodynamics,
- 2:59:12aren't it? It's one of the reasons why
- 2:59:13religious people believe that that's a part of the the
- 2:59:17conjunction with faith and religion.
- 2:59:20This is how God created it, that sooner or later it would wind
- 2:59:24down, that it would end. Yeah, but atheist says that
- 2:59:29things are degrading. That's all he says.
- 2:59:32Things are degrading and this is proof.
- 2:59:35But yeah, maybe that's, maybe that is.
- 2:59:39But I I don't believe that everything is just degrading.
- 2:59:42I don't believe that light is degrading and gravity is
- 2:59:46degrading and but even if it is, then maybe it degrades and our
- 2:59:53universe degrades and maybe our universe turns into a different
- 3:00:00type of universe. Maybe our universe.
- 3:00:03Like, like I said, I I don't believe that our universe had a
- 3:00:07definite beginning. Like maybe it always existed in
- 3:00:12different forms. So if everything degrades in our
- 3:00:15universe, maybe it maybe it will form into a new universe with
- 3:00:23different laws. Maybe maybe there's different
- 3:00:25levels of time or something beyond time in a new universe
- 3:00:32once everything degrades, but I I don't believe that everything
- 3:00:36is degrading though. Do you you believe in some kind
- 3:00:40of like a recycling concept where the energy basically dies
- 3:00:46down and then regenerates itself and then has another singularity
- 3:00:50effect type of deal creating another universe?
- 3:00:55I wouldn't say, I believe that. I would say, you know all all
- 3:01:00scientists say that our universe started at one point and there
- 3:01:05was a Big Bang, but we don't know that that one point was
- 3:01:10created at some point. Maybe it started at some other
- 3:01:15point long ago. And maybe if if his degrading
- 3:01:21theory is correct, maybe our universe bangs and slowly
- 3:01:28degrades to a point and then bangs again.
- 3:01:33Like it's just because every all the scientists say, like with
- 3:01:40all of our observations, we can see that the universe is
- 3:01:44expanding. We see everything expanding.
- 3:01:48But I I'm not sure that it degrades.
- 3:01:51I don't know what evidence there is for that.
- 3:01:54Well he's he's, I think APS is talking about the the.
- 3:01:59Entropy. Just use the word degrade.
- 3:02:02That's a that's actually true. Everything around you is going
- 3:02:05to die. Everything is going to rust and
- 3:02:08vanish and go into non existence.
- 3:02:12Yeah, but if if our star dies, if the sun dies and explodes,
- 3:02:19like, I don't know, it's because it that just seems like the
- 3:02:25natural course of the universe. And because stars form, we know
- 3:02:31that stars had formed, so maybe other stars will form in our in
- 3:02:36our universe. Well, the the, OK, so the
- 3:02:43concept is one of the things that people go with is that
- 3:02:47originally the universe started out super hot and then it
- 3:02:52basically puked the shit all out, creating the expansion of
- 3:02:55the universe, space and time. Now the theory is, is that all
- 3:03:00that heat is cooling down, that we've literally cooled down to
- 3:03:04the point where life could even begin in the 1st place.
- 3:03:07Well, the thought is, is that everything's going to get
- 3:03:10colder, the energy's going to get wiped out, and then that
- 3:03:13will be it'll basically be dead static nothingness.
- 3:03:18Kind of like Mark Twain is quote.
- 3:03:21You ever heard his quote before? No, I haven't heard of that Mark
- 3:03:25Twain quote. Well, the universe is expanding
- 3:03:28out, and all that just means that all energy sources,
- 3:03:31including stars, they'll be spread away from each other over
- 3:03:35and over until finally it's just out there.
- 3:03:38And then the universe gets the universe is cold.
- 3:03:41So all the stars will end up eventually getting cold and
- 3:03:45dying and becoming nothing but basically rubble turning into
- 3:03:49ash, you know, debris, nothing more.
- 3:03:54That's the that's the belief. But I've also been open minded
- 3:03:58about the universe regenerating itself and doing all this.
- 3:04:02The problem with it is though, if you're open to other
- 3:04:06universes and ideas, then you also would probably have to
- 3:04:10suggest that there's probably life in the other universes.
- 3:04:14Something like a like what I suggested to you.
- 3:04:17Something that has the attributes of God that can
- 3:04:21travel through this. I mean, think about it.
- 3:04:25If you and I had the opportunity, if we figured out
- 3:04:29some kind of way to be able to adapt to the matter and the
- 3:04:33changes going on in the universe, if we were to become
- 3:04:36something beyond physical, you know, like material that can
- 3:04:40transform ourself, we could become like gods if we had
- 3:04:43enough time. Yeah, I guess so.
- 3:04:47But that doesn't mean we were created by God.
- 3:04:53Why are you? You do believe that humans have
- 3:04:57a creative abilities about them. If something is powerful and has
- 3:05:01the the power to move things and do this, then surely shouldn't
- 3:05:07be surprising for you that an entity could do it.
- 3:05:12Yeah, an entity could do that. But I, you know, like with all
- 3:05:17of these theistic religions in our world today, that's that's
- 3:05:21not what they talk about. They say there's just something
- 3:05:25beyond us that created everything.
- 3:05:29Like they don't talk about like, oh, he didn't create everything
- 3:05:34everything. He just created what we know is
- 3:05:37everything at it's like that. What religion says, that our God
- 3:05:44might have come from an alternate universe and created
- 3:05:48our universe. Like there's no religion like
- 3:05:51that. Well, the the God of the Bible.
- 3:05:54This is one of the differences between the other religions and
- 3:05:58the God of the Bible, the Abrahamic religions is this God
- 3:06:02claims to exist outside the space and time.
- 3:06:05It claims to have been there before all of life and existence
- 3:06:09came in to play the other religions.
- 3:06:13They claim that their gods were basically of this planet and of
- 3:06:16this world. The God of the Bible says I am
- 3:06:19not of this world. I am beyond this.
- 3:06:23Oh, it claims to be beyond space and time, and as extension into
- 3:06:30the universe where it can see all things as well, and even
- 3:06:33into our internal biology. So that's one of the big things
- 3:06:37that makes it different from the other God stories, yeah?
- 3:06:43I would say, if that were true, if the God would have made our
- 3:06:51universe and our planet a lot better than he made it, because
- 3:06:56it's pretty shitty. Well, you're absolutely armed to
- 3:07:00something there. And that story also says he did
- 3:07:03originally do it that way. He originally created a paratise
- 3:07:08utopia for mankind, but then he gave mankind a choice if mankind
- 3:07:13wanted to continue to exist like that or move beyond him.
- 3:07:17Which meant that they would have to take the consequence of free
- 3:07:20will. See, originally the Bible says
- 3:07:23God created the world perfect and created life perfect.
- 3:07:27But then he went one step further and said, now you have
- 3:07:31the opportunity to disobey me, which will give you free will
- 3:07:35and you can go on your life, but the consequence will be death.
- 3:07:41Yeah, but there's there's scientific evidence that it's
- 3:07:45not proven, but there could have been life on Mars, there could
- 3:07:50have been life on Europa, There could have been other life in
- 3:07:54our solar system. And what were they?
- 3:07:56Just God's failed experiments before he created Earth.
- 3:08:01Well, the Bible actually does say that God created other life
- 3:08:05forms besides us. That's another difference
- 3:08:08between the other religions. The God says there are other
- 3:08:12beings and entities out there that exist that did not
- 3:08:15originate on Earth. See, that's one of the cool
- 3:08:18things. That's one of the reasons why
- 3:08:20Christianity and the Abrahamic religions are so popular and
- 3:08:24held arms for so many years. Because it's not claiming that
- 3:08:28this God came out of the river or an ocean, but from outer
- 3:08:32space, the universe. OK, I haven't ever heard of that
- 3:08:37before that the Abrahamic religions believe that God
- 3:08:42created life elsewhere. Where you going to have to point
- 3:08:45me to some sources in the Bible or the Quran or the Torah or
- 3:08:51whatever the fuck like where? Where is that ever been said?
- 3:08:54In the book of Hebrews, and actually specifically says that
- 3:08:58God created other worlds. And that he created other life
- 3:09:02forms. Now Christians usually refer to
- 3:09:05these entities as angels and demons and all this.
- 3:09:09Now obviously you've probably seen modern day movies where
- 3:09:12they make a fucking full lot of things like exorcisms and all
- 3:09:16this kind of stuff, but people believe that there were powerful
- 3:09:19entities that exist outside this earth.
- 3:09:22It's just modern day movies have made a a damn hassle hell.
- 3:09:26Some movies could make your favorite book look stupid if
- 3:09:29they try hard enough, You know that?
- 3:09:33Yeah, I guess so. But like I said, just, I don't
- 3:09:37know, just the idea of an entity, an intelligent entity,
- 3:09:43creating what we know. It's just it's just kind of
- 3:09:46dumb. I don't.
- 3:09:47I don't like that. Why is it?
- 3:09:51I mean, you would ain't against the idea of humans bringing
- 3:09:54children into the world, obviously.
- 3:09:56Humans do it because they want something to love, something to
- 3:10:00care about, something that brings meaning to them and
- 3:10:04purpose and actually enriches their life.
- 3:10:07Why wouldn't a God want to do that for it?
- 3:10:10Yeah, but humans do that, and it's a biological thing.
- 3:10:14It's not like the man and the woman like talk to each other
- 3:10:18and they're they're talking about, oh, what genes should we
- 3:10:21give them. Well like I'm going to give them
- 3:10:22these genes and you give them those genes and we'll we'll put
- 3:10:27them. It's it's just a biological
- 3:10:28thing that happens. Like it's it's it's a result of
- 3:10:32our evolution. Like it's it's nothing like a
- 3:10:36God type of thing. So you believe we came into
- 3:10:41existence through evolution? Well, yes, us humans came into
- 3:10:49being through evolution, but like we don't really know how
- 3:10:53life formed and we don't really know what life is.
- 3:10:58Right. Well then why do you think that
- 3:11:01evolution has any part in it than if we don't know about what
- 3:11:05life is? Well, let me ask you, do you
- 3:11:09think life evolved on earth or were we created like 5000 years
- 3:11:14ago or whatever it says in the Bible?
- 3:11:18Well, it doesn't say how old the earth is in the Bible.
- 3:11:21There are some Christians out there who think that the earth
- 3:11:25is much younger. I'm not one of them, but the
- 3:11:28Bible doesn't specifically give a date or time on when God
- 3:11:31created the earth. What was the other question?
- 3:11:37Oh, I was just saying like, how old do you think the Earth is?
- 3:11:40And do you also, do you think that evolution played any part
- 3:11:46in creating humanity? Because there's there's some
- 3:11:49Christians who say, yeah, evolution is true, but God
- 3:11:54guided evolution. Do you believe in that?
- 3:11:58Well, the definition of science is things that which we can
- 3:12:02observe and also be able to do repetitive test with something
- 3:12:08that we would be able to see over and over a pattern.
- 3:12:11Well, the problem is, is that nobody on earth has ever
- 3:12:15observed anyone coming out of the womb of the baboon.
- 3:12:19No one has ever seen some kind of little Chippewa pet or
- 3:12:22something turn into some kind of other biological atomical
- 3:12:26structure. I understand there's if I open
- 3:12:29up a lot of science books, I'm going to see a bunch of cartoons
- 3:12:33and animations and, you know, really pretty paintings that
- 3:12:36people did. But.
- 3:12:38You and I have never actually seen any creature, any eight
- 3:12:42turn into a human being before. Yeah, I would say that.
- 3:12:47But there's there's many things that exist in our modern world
- 3:12:51that we haven't seen like there's microprocessors and
- 3:12:56stuff in our in our fucking phones that like we haven't
- 3:13:01really seen because we like have you seen how a microprocessor
- 3:13:07works in our phone? Have you seen all of the?
- 3:13:10It's amazing. It is.
- 3:13:12It is amazing. But also like we know that like
- 3:13:19whales in our oceans are mammals, and we know that whales
- 3:13:26have hip bones. So whales once were land mammals
- 3:13:34that eventually evolved to live in the sea.
- 3:13:38Because why would have there's so many animals that have
- 3:13:43vestigial properties. You know, vestigial it's.
- 3:13:49It means it's like something that was once useful, but like
- 3:13:53it evolved and it's not useful anymore, but it's just still
- 3:13:57there. Well, as far as the whales go,
- 3:14:01the theory goes that these creatures started out in the
- 3:14:04water. And then they somehow made
- 3:14:06themselves up on the land, turned into hairy mammals, and
- 3:14:10then eventually decided after millions of years, they go back
- 3:14:15in the water and become whales again.
- 3:14:18That's the theory that they have.
- 3:14:20Have you ever observed that? No, there's no, that's not the
- 3:14:23theory because there's no, there's no way that a reptile or
- 3:14:29a fish could evolve into a mammal.
- 3:14:33Like maybe they could evolve into something that's like a
- 3:14:36mammal. But whales are mammals.
- 3:14:39We know that and we know that, Like there are certain whales
- 3:14:44that have certain genetic traits that are shared, like with
- 3:14:49elephants and things of that nature, like they all came from
- 3:14:54a common ancestor. Like, that's that's not how
- 3:14:58evolution works. Spread.
- 3:15:02Well, I guess I'll have to show you something then if that's the
- 3:15:06issue, because I've actually had this discussion a couple times
- 3:15:10with people on this and had to show them that.
- 3:15:13Here, let me hold on. Yeah, take the time to put.
- 3:15:16I don't really have to pee right now, but if you're going to take
- 3:15:19a minute to pull it up, let me just let.
- 3:15:21I already I already have it set up OK, just waiting for the
- 3:15:30screen. I'll.
- 3:15:32I'll talk about it while waiting for you to get back.
- 3:15:39OK. So what we have here, ladies and
- 3:15:42gentlemen, Whale evolution. It shows right here that the
- 3:15:47whale ended up turning into this hairy creature that you see on
- 3:15:52the screen and it ended up walking around on land for quite
- 3:15:56some time and then it made its way back into the water.
- 3:16:02And then became the whales that we know of today that we're
- 3:16:05killing to extinction. I'm just waiting for him to come
- 3:16:12back. All right.
- 3:16:19Yeah. OK.
- 3:16:20What are you talking about, Brett?
- 3:16:21You able to see on the screen what I'm showing?
- 3:16:25Yeah, looks like some kind of evolution stuff.
- 3:16:28OK, so yeah, notice it's all animated too, because we haven't
- 3:16:33actually observed any of this that going on, but but we can
- 3:16:37infer things and that's what I'm talking about, Brett.
- 3:16:43So here's what the the whale ends up becoming this thing
- 3:16:48right here that you see in the middle of the screen.
- 3:16:50I don't know if you see my mouse.
- 3:16:52It comes up on land. It lives for millions of years.
- 3:16:56And then the thing decides that, fuck it, I'm going to go back
- 3:16:58and do the whale thing again. Yeah, wait, that that was that
- 3:17:05was what? Before it came up on land.
- 3:17:09Before it came on land, it was supposedly some other form of
- 3:17:13whale. Then it comes up, it ends up
- 3:17:15looking like this shit that you see here that looks like a a
- 3:17:18swimming rat. And then it ends up eventually
- 3:17:21going back millions of years later into the water.
- 3:17:25I think about this. How many times have you turned
- 3:17:28on your television or watch the news and seen fucking dead
- 3:17:32whales or sharks up on the land? I think I've seen that, but what
- 3:17:39does that have to do with anything?
- 3:17:41Because the scientific fact is this.
- 3:17:45You get any kind of fish or any kind of mammal or any kind of
- 3:17:49whale that's submerged in water and lives in water.
- 3:17:53You pull it out for longer than 10 minutes and put it on land,
- 3:17:57the fucking thing dies. So how did it go from water to
- 3:18:02land and adapt to it? Since it takes millions of years
- 3:18:05for something to evolve, even the most minute thing in it, how
- 3:18:10the fuck did the thing managed to make its way out of being a
- 3:18:14water creature to that and then going right back into the water
- 3:18:18millions of years later? Yeah, that's that's not how
- 3:18:21evolution works, Brett. There there are many semi
- 3:18:25aquatic creatures right now, like a Beaver.
- 3:18:30A Beaver swims through water and builds dams on the water.
- 3:18:36But like a Beaver could still crawl on land and get the wood
- 3:18:40that it needs to to build the dams on the water where it
- 3:18:45lives. Like they're they're
- 3:18:47transitional forms. So, like, it's not like
- 3:18:51something totally became a whale and then the whale totally
- 3:18:56became something else and then that thing totally became a
- 3:19:00whale again. That's that's not how it works.
- 3:19:03So you don't think that you, your ancestors were originally
- 3:19:07full on monkey? And then before that, ancient
- 3:19:10rats, and then before that amphibians.
- 3:19:13And then somehow back then all the way to the point where they
- 3:19:17were fish. And then before that a bunch of
- 3:19:20small little gooey cells floating around the water.
- 3:19:23So much time Brett you're you're not understanding for for some
- 3:19:27kind of fish to evolve into some form of amphibian to involve in
- 3:19:32some form of reptile it takes hundreds of millions of years.
- 3:19:38Like we we have the fossil record of whales like we could
- 3:19:42trace them back. It's like there.
- 3:19:48Yeah, there I'm, I'm trying to think I don't know I used to
- 3:19:52watch the Animal Planet when I was a child but then I was
- 3:19:57abused and I went to alcohol. So if if that didn't happen,
- 3:20:02maybe I could explain this better.
- 3:20:05No, you're actually doing better than some of the atheist
- 3:20:08scientists I've had conversations with on this kind
- 3:20:11of stuff. They they have a lot more harder
- 3:20:14time. You're at least giving it a
- 3:20:16shot, and I respect that. But you do see what they claim
- 3:20:20the thing turned into, right? You see that on the screen?
- 3:20:23Yeah, but hold on, let let me let me give an example that's
- 3:20:26not a mammal because that that thing is that type of thing is
- 3:20:31not current in. In our modern world with mammals
- 3:20:38but turn back into a whale. But no.
- 3:20:41But there you have to acknowledge, you know what a
- 3:20:44fucking alligator is or a crocodile is, right?
- 3:20:48Right. A.
- 3:20:49Crocodile could be almost aquatic its whole life, but
- 3:20:53crocodiles could still come on land and live on land.
- 3:20:59And according to the fossils that we have of crocodiles and
- 3:21:02alligators, they're two of the same type of creatures that
- 3:21:06never went through some kind of evolutionary process.
- 3:21:10They've never changed into anything but what they look like
- 3:21:13now. I'm certain that they had
- 3:21:17transitional forms a long time ago, but what would that be?
- 3:21:24I I don't know because I'm not a biologist, but I know that type
- 3:21:29of thing exists. It's it's possible for a
- 3:21:31creature to exist. Completely in the water or
- 3:21:35completely on the land, And maybe that was possible with
- 3:21:39mammals, but I just don't know all the specifics.
- 3:21:43So you believe that if a rat is given millions of years, it
- 3:21:47could eventually turn into something that looks humanoid,
- 3:21:51like yourself? Well, yeah, that's just facts,
- 3:21:57because the original mammals were rat.
- 3:22:01Like I wouldn't call them rats. But those what were mammals
- 3:22:05were, and those evolved into monkeys and apes and all types
- 3:22:12of other things. It's just like dinosaurs.
- 3:22:14Like there were T Rex dinosaurs, there were fucking triceratops
- 3:22:19dinosaurs. They all came from something.
- 3:22:23But that, like life evolves, life changes.
- 3:22:30OK? Do you see this on the screen?
- 3:22:32Yeah, yeah. This is what they claim we look
- 3:22:35like before we became primates right here.
- 3:22:40This is what they say. Now let's say that you and I
- 3:22:44went out into the forest or whatever, and we found the
- 3:22:47fossils of this ancient rat. How would I go about you and I?
- 3:22:52How would we go about proving that that was our great, great
- 3:22:55granddaddy? Well, we have to discern.
- 3:23:00Through the geological record because you can't carbon date a
- 3:23:06fossil. We would just have to discern
- 3:23:09through the geological record like when was this terrain,
- 3:23:15where it was and we would have to extrapolate from that like of
- 3:23:21of course those were the first mammals like, but you you have
- 3:23:24to understand it's hundreds and hundreds of millions of years.
- 3:23:29It takes so long. It's it's it's not like this
- 3:23:32thing is going to have a a monkey baby tomorrow.
- 3:23:36That's not how it works. Well, I'm not claiming that I
- 3:23:39understand it takes millions of years for the.
- 3:23:43Hundreds and hundreds of millions of years, right?
- 3:23:46So if we did end up finding the fossil of that ancient rat
- 3:23:51creature that's supposedly going to eventually one day become
- 3:23:55human, how would we be able to know?
- 3:23:57Now, remember what you said. If that's hundreds of millions
- 3:24:00of years old, you've got no blood, no DNA.
- 3:24:04We've got no way to be able to contrast it because our DNA is
- 3:24:08so fucking different now. How would you be able to do
- 3:24:12anything with it? But we have a wide fossil
- 3:24:16record. We could, we could see maybe
- 3:24:19this creature 200,000,000 years after and extrapolate, oh, this
- 3:24:26is how the skeleton evolve. It's it's just like how we know
- 3:24:30that it's it's how we know that whales are not fish.
- 3:24:35If if you see a fucking orca, we an orca looks like a fish.
- 3:24:42But we can see the orca skeleton and we can extrapolate how it
- 3:24:48evolved, because like I said, orcas have hip bones and their
- 3:24:53their fins are similar to our digits.
- 3:24:57It it, it's like we we can put the pieces together, like
- 3:25:02there's no complete fossil record, but we got to just put
- 3:25:07all the pieces together because it's over such a long spirit, a
- 3:25:12long period of time. So you think because there's
- 3:25:18similarities to a rat that it has maybe some of the same kind
- 3:25:22of bone structure that then that must mean that that is what we
- 3:25:26came from? I guess if you're talking about
- 3:25:32this creature that like was from 500 million years ago, I don't
- 3:25:37know, but it's it's not like it's not like there's because
- 3:25:44mammals have a certain structure.
- 3:25:46Here on planet Earth we usually have 4 limbs and we have 5
- 3:25:52digits per limb. Like that's like 9095% of
- 3:25:58mammals. And you know there there are
- 3:26:00things that are are close to mammals here in modern times,
- 3:26:04like marsupials. Marsupials exist in only
- 3:26:09Australia because Australia was an isolated continent and they
- 3:26:15evolved differently. They're similar to mammals, but
- 3:26:18they're not mammals and so you are convinced that your
- 3:26:24ancestors came from a rat like creature.
- 3:26:28I wouldn't call them my ancestors because it's a
- 3:26:32completely different species hundreds of millions of years
- 3:26:35ago, but that's where evolution led to current humanity.
- 3:26:45You know what ancestor means, right?
- 3:26:48I don't know. I guess so it means that what
- 3:26:51you were related to and if you if humans came from rats, that
- 3:26:56would mean that you're related to rats.
- 3:26:59Yeah, no, because ancestor is a more human type of word.
- 3:27:03Because there could be a human on the different side of the
- 3:27:06planet who has an ancestor that's different to my human
- 3:27:11ancestor and that I don't. I don't know if you could use
- 3:27:16that terminology and. Interspecies terms, Maybe you
- 3:27:22can, I don't know. I think is kind of semantics,
- 3:27:31but you've never actually observed the a human come out of
- 3:27:35an ape or a primate before. Yeah, of course not, because
- 3:27:39evolution takes millions of years, if not hundreds of
- 3:27:43millions of years, depending on the type of adaptations that.
- 3:27:49You're talking about. So if these creatures obviously
- 3:27:54if evolution were to be true, this means that all these
- 3:27:58creatures I just pointed at you, they no longer exist because
- 3:28:02they transitioned. Now if that's the case, then how
- 3:28:05would you be able to make the connection?
- 3:28:11Because of DNA evidence. Because, you know, like, don't
- 3:28:17we share like? A majority of our DNA with like
- 3:28:21cows and stuff, like there have been pigs, like people have got
- 3:28:25a pig heart heart transplant. Just because we're we're
- 3:28:29similar. We're not the same, but like the
- 3:28:33pigs and the apes, like we all come from a similar mammal.
- 3:28:37Like, I don't, I don't know. I'm not a biologist.
- 3:28:41But like, there's ways to explain this.
- 3:28:46Well, they're claiming that we basically, we branched off from
- 3:28:49every kind of creature that is out there, that everything on
- 3:28:53this planet that's alive started out of some slimy booger and a
- 3:28:56rock out in the ocean or pond or swamp and then ended up evolving
- 3:29:01into this. Maybe oh, damn, I think I got a
- 3:29:06fucking raccoon under my house trying to get in.
- 3:29:08Hopefully it doesn't evolve into some kind of monster or
- 3:29:11something Shut. Got a raccoon fucking around?
- 3:29:17Hey, what are you? Are you trying to end the stream
- 3:29:20soon, Brett? I'll be in the here in a little
- 3:29:23bit, yeah. My daughter's going to be home
- 3:29:26from work and she's got a show she's wanting to watch with me,
- 3:29:29but. OK, hold on.
- 3:29:31Is it OK if I change gears right now and I tell you what I'm
- 3:29:37working on? Sure.
- 3:29:41Okay, I'm I'm working on a very unique project that nobody it
- 3:29:49not. I wouldn't say nobody, but like
- 3:29:52it's not like every single person could do what I'm
- 3:29:55planning to do. But I really want to be a
- 3:30:00content creator, like I said. But have you ever heard of The
- 3:30:07Nostalgia Critic? I've heard of that name, yeah.
- 3:30:12Yeah, he reviews old movies but like you know really those old
- 3:30:17movies are accessible and available to everybody.
- 3:30:20Like he's not doing anything special.
- 3:30:24I've I've recently I've recently acquired a bunch of old VHS
- 3:30:32tapes. VHS tapes that are not anywhere
- 3:30:37on the Internet. And I want to review them and
- 3:30:43they are special VHS tapes because they are porn parody
- 3:30:48tapes. And you know the when I I first
- 3:30:51talked to you last week, my very first question was about, you
- 3:30:56know, people trying to politicians trying to ban porn,
- 3:31:03online pornography on the Internet.
- 3:31:09But I have something that will counter that.
- 3:31:12So you look at this is 1 VHS tape I have.
- 3:31:15There's there's no nudity or anything.
- 3:31:18This is just the front cover. You see this?
- 3:31:29It's called you're Chrome key or whatever you're using is kind of
- 3:31:34making it hard. To see, I know it's it's called
- 3:31:38Dirty Harriet. It's it's a porn parody of Dirty
- 3:31:43Harry, but it's it's also a parody of Miami Vice.
- 3:31:50Let's see, Look at Stand Back When Harriet gets down and
- 3:31:55Dirty, It's Yeah, I can't. I can't wait.
- 3:32:01I want to. I want to be the guy who reviews
- 3:32:04porn parody tapes. Because actually, on this tape.
- 3:32:09Everybody knows Ron Jeremy. Ron Jeremy is in this and he's
- 3:32:13actually really funny. Like there there's some funny
- 3:32:17writing and there's some funny dialogue, and I think I can
- 3:32:21upload these Nostalgia Critic reviews.
- 3:32:26It's similar to him, but I could upload that to Pornhub and I
- 3:32:32think maybe. I could be a Maverick.
- 3:32:34I could. I could do something that nobody
- 3:32:36else would do because I have a VCR that I have a local video
- 3:32:42store here in Milwaukee where I saw these tapes.
- 3:32:45I was like, Oh my God, this is awesome.
- 3:32:49This is freaking awesome. What do you think about that,
- 3:32:53Brett? No.
- 3:32:55If you think it'll help your channel and you actually think
- 3:32:58it's funny, then you do what you do.
- 3:33:02Why? Why?
- 3:33:03Watching now like you're saying it's a porn parody, huh?
- 3:33:07Yeah, I I think because I've never seen anything like that
- 3:33:11before because most of these videos are from the 80s, like
- 3:33:15before my time, and even when I was when I was grown, like DVD's
- 3:33:20were a thing. And it's it's a totally
- 3:33:22different thing. It's like, do you know, do you
- 3:33:26know that movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito?
- 3:33:32Twins. Yeah, If you look at this, get a
- 3:33:34crack out of this, The porn parody of twins.
- 3:33:40Oh geez. See, dude, I think I could be
- 3:33:44like the number one channel on Pornhub with all these tapes
- 3:33:50I've got. It's, I think it's it's some of
- 3:33:54them are not direct parodies, but they're parodies of the
- 3:33:58genre. Like check this out.
- 3:34:02Extraterrestrials. Geez, that's crazy.
- 3:34:06Like it looks like a Borg from Star Trek and but like Oh my God
- 3:34:13like because I've watched some of these.
- 3:34:15I haven't watched all of them. I actually I was I was trying to
- 3:34:19hook up because like I said I had a capture card because you
- 3:34:23are asking me how I recorded like my Nintendo Switch videos.
- 3:34:27But I have. I have an adapter.
- 3:34:30Where like it'll convert the VHS to HDMI and I could hook that up
- 3:34:36into my capture card but it's not working.
- 3:34:39I I just ordered another adapter, but I did record some
- 3:34:46of these like see look at this one Web Web of Desire.
- 3:34:54She's. She it's it's a funny science
- 3:34:57fiction film where it's it's like, you know, The Fly with
- 3:35:01Jeff Goldblum. Yeah.
- 3:35:03But she gets her DNA mixed with a Black Widow spider, so she
- 3:35:08fucks a guy and then she eats him and kills him.
- 3:35:12Oh boy, that sounds like a Black Widow.
- 3:35:15Yeah. So like I I can't wait.
- 3:35:17I I I think it's going to take off.
- 3:35:20I think I'm going to be a big. A big guy on the Internet.
- 3:35:24Finally it's it's it's been my dream.
- 3:35:27See look at this other one. You see this at the at the
- 3:35:34pornies. It's it's a it's a parody of at
- 3:35:38the movies. You know what?
- 3:35:39Siskel and Ebert, you know it's called at the movies.
- 3:35:43But like, it's at the pornies and it's I cannot wait.
- 3:35:49I there's like, I have so many tapes.
- 3:35:51I have dozens of tapes I haven't watched.
- 3:35:54Some of them are garbage and are not worth talking about, but
- 3:36:00some of them are really entertaining.
- 3:36:05Well, we're getting ready to shut it down.
- 3:36:07But I got one more question for you and then we'll roll it out
- 3:36:10and I'll probably schedule something for next Friday if you
- 3:36:13want to come in. And no, no.
- 3:36:15Yeah. Yeah, see, I was.
- 3:36:17I was just apprehensive, I thought.
- 3:36:18I thought if I showed you these tapes, you'd be like, OK, Drew's
- 3:36:22blacklisted. But thanks for hearing me out,
- 3:36:25bro. Well, they're not nude, I mean,
- 3:36:29you're saying. Exactly.
- 3:36:30Because I I have a dozen dozens and dozens of tapes that might
- 3:36:35have nude on the cover, but I I just picked the tapes that had
- 3:36:39no explicit content. Yeah, you were talking about
- 3:36:44your phone earlier, about the microchips and things put into
- 3:36:48it, right? Yeah, exactly.
- 3:36:50I got an interesting hypothetical for you.
- 3:36:53Let's say that you and I, we went into like a warehouse
- 3:36:57filled with the most advanced computers, the most advanced
- 3:37:00phones, the most advanced equipment that technology has
- 3:37:05ever created in our modern times.
- 3:37:07And then we're told to take a baseball bat and smash all of it
- 3:37:11in the little pieces and then empty the part of it into a bag.
- 3:37:16Now we're we literally have to destroy all this shit until it's
- 3:37:20literally almost crumbs. All right, we put it into a bag.
- 3:37:24How many millions of years would we have to wait before you could
- 3:37:29reach into the bag, pull out the material, and it end up being a
- 3:37:33Nintendo Switch or a Game Boy? Yeah, that would never happen.
- 3:37:40It wouldn't. Nope.
- 3:37:43Why not? Because it's it's just
- 3:37:48materials. If if any of those materials had
- 3:37:55a situation where they could develop life like, I'm not
- 3:37:59saying that that's impossible. Maybe that's possible over
- 3:38:05billions of years. Maybe that all of those silicon
- 3:38:10type materials could develop life, but they wouldn't turn
- 3:38:13into a Nintendo Switch. Like they would just become
- 3:38:16their own microscopic beings who might create their own different
- 3:38:22type of thing. So you believe out of a bunch of
- 3:38:26material of broken computers, we could get something out of it,
- 3:38:30something that's coherent if we wait a billion years?
- 3:38:35Maybe a couple billion years, but it's it's not just random
- 3:38:39materials. It's like these are materials
- 3:38:42that we use to store data, like they have data stored on them
- 3:38:47and we can get raw materials of certain types of that substance.
- 3:38:56And store data on it. So like, I don't know how life
- 3:39:00works. Like, like I said, we have to
- 3:39:03expand our horizons. Like if there is other life out
- 3:39:08in the universe, it might not be like us.
- 3:39:11Maybe life could evolve in a different way, I don't know.
- 3:39:17What about? What if we were to take
- 3:39:19something that was organic instead of computer parts?
- 3:39:23What if we took a bunch of, like, let's say, reptiles,
- 3:39:26amphibians and put them in a giant blender?
- 3:39:30How many years would we have to wait until we should expect that
- 3:39:33something alive would come out of it?
- 3:39:37I don't know, Probably 2 billion years, because I think the Earth
- 3:39:43is 4 billion years old. I don't know, maybe, maybe,
- 3:39:47maybe we would have to wait 3 billion years, but.
- 3:39:51That's that's a better set of conditions than life was created
- 3:39:55on Earth or life formed. I wouldn't want to say created
- 3:40:02because we we, we don't really know the origins of a
- 3:40:07Biogenesis, so maybe that would have a a much better chance of
- 3:40:14generating life. Why do you think it is
- 3:40:19scientific terms? Why they use the religious
- 3:40:22connotation like for instance Biogenesis?
- 3:40:29It's just because our we are humans and that's that's our
- 3:40:33whole culture. As long as we've ever existed,
- 3:40:36we've always used it. We've always used like
- 3:40:39philosophical terms and like crazy religious terms to explain
- 3:40:47everything. Because there, there, there are
- 3:40:51still. Because I was playing Red Dead
- 3:40:54Redemption and there there's like a Native American character
- 3:40:59whose name, his name is Rain's Fall or and there's like a
- 3:41:04character whose name is like hawk flies or something like
- 3:41:08that. And it's like sometimes like we
- 3:41:12we just use different verbiage. To describe different things
- 3:41:16depending on our development. That doesn't mean we have any
- 3:41:20insight on how life was created. All right, well, I am going to
- 3:41:29shortly after I get off here, I will schedule something for next
- 3:41:33Friday. I may make a couple videos in
- 3:41:35between, but on Friday, 7:00 PM Central, I'll get nothing going.
- 3:41:39We've got a couple people out here say that they want to be
- 3:41:42involved. If they weren't busy they would
- 3:41:44have came in tonight. So we'll see how that goes.
- 3:41:48Hopefully Adam will doing this. Hell yeah, You know, I would, I
- 3:41:51would love that. I would love to have more people
- 3:41:53on, to have different points of view from other people talk
- 3:41:57about shit. And yeah, I I got to try to give
- 3:42:02you my e-mail, so maybe you can inform me because I I would love
- 3:42:06to get something going, like with a big discussion of people
- 3:42:10that that would probably be cool.
- 3:42:13Yeah. My only advice and suggestion
- 3:42:16for you that if you decide to go the route that you're talking
- 3:42:19about with the porn videos and all that, you got to be careful.
- 3:42:23Even if you don't show nudity on some of your stuff.
- 3:42:26Like for instance I my video could possibly get hit with some
- 3:42:30shit and I'd have to appeal it and then YouTube would have to
- 3:42:33look and see that there's nothing wrong with it.
- 3:42:36But the same could happen to you if you make videos if you
- 3:42:40mentioned porn and the tags, because obviously you're going
- 3:42:43to want people to know what they're clicking on.
- 3:42:46So you're probably going to explain in the title in some
- 3:42:49kind of way what you're doing porn parodies.
- 3:42:53So hopefully that doesn't hurt your channel any or cause you
- 3:42:56any kind of problems. That's my only suggestions on
- 3:42:59that. Yeah, I didn't think of that.
- 3:43:02But I'm sorry. It's just like I wasn't thinking
- 3:43:05of your channel because you know.
- 3:43:08Earlier last week I asked you if you, like, didn't want to have
- 3:43:13profanity and you you didn't care.
- 3:43:16So I don't care about porn or nudity either.
- 3:43:20I've seen, I've seen some women naked before in my life and I
- 3:43:24ain't got a problem with it. Yeah, like I said, I feel
- 3:43:27stupid. I never wanted to show anything
- 3:43:30profane on here, but I didn't know that the mention of PORNE
- 3:43:37or PORN. Sorry, I've been drinking too
- 3:43:41much, but PORNI didn't know that could get flagged.
- 3:43:45If I said that, so let me let me give you an example of let me
- 3:43:49give you an example of stupid YouTube is me and my buddies.
- 3:43:53We used to when we did a live show we like to draw pictures
- 3:43:57while we were doing stuff on the screen.
- 3:44:00And I drew a picture of Optimist Prime.
- 3:44:02The Transformer look just like Optimist Prime, But somebody
- 3:44:07reported the video and said that I was drawing women titties all
- 3:44:10over my fucking screen. We're talking religion and I'm
- 3:44:13drawing a Transformer on the screen.
- 3:44:16And I actually got flagged for that for sexual porn pornography
- 3:44:21on my video. So if I did get hit, I'd never
- 3:44:24blame you for it or anything like that or whatever.
- 3:44:29I just didn't know. I just want to let you know like
- 3:44:32if I ever am on any one of your streams, I'll never mention that
- 3:44:36again like. Even if I become the highest you
- 3:44:42know, viewed person on the Internet, I'm, I won't mention
- 3:44:46because I know YouTube is shit. That's why I have a I already
- 3:44:53have a P Hub account. I don't want to see Pi, don't
- 3:44:57want to say PORN Hub, but I already have an account with
- 3:45:03them. And I have uploaded some videos
- 3:45:07from some of the VHS tapes, but I haven't done any of the
- 3:45:11editing and things that I want to do with that, but I'll never
- 3:45:16mention that again. I'm sorry, I don't want to.
- 3:45:18I don't want you to get flagged. Well, I was just suggesting
- 3:45:22because I didn't want you to hurt your channel or anything,
- 3:45:25but yet on myself, I already got plenty of other places I do
- 3:45:28videos on all that. I was just saying for your own
- 3:45:31benefit, as far as I'm concerned you didn't show anything bad at
- 3:45:35all. Yeah, it's just generic, funny
- 3:45:39movie posters. Yeah, there's, yeah, there's
- 3:45:43nothing bad on those. But yeah, like, it's what it is.
- 3:45:51It's Don't worry about it. It's all good.
- 3:45:53All right. Yeah.
- 3:45:54Thanks, Brett. If you're trying to end it, it's
- 3:45:57been real, bro. It's been cool talking to you.
- 3:46:01I'm going to try and hit up my brother and see if he wants to
- 3:46:03talk to me. There you go.
