Student volunteers renovating and repairing war damage in Kiryat Shemona
Students are heading north to help rebuild and renovate Kiryat Shemon which suffered severe war damage. The Ayalim Association is also seeing the project as a way to strengthen the periphery for the future. Ayalim CEO Sigal Barzelly told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the scores of students who began working last week came because the renovations needed to happen now and not wait for the government to kick in.
