- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: RT, welcome to Daily Influen.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much, I'm so glad for that wonderful introduction.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: To start us off, can you share a bit about your journey and what experiences shaped you into being both a product manager and a mindset coach and what led you to your mission of helping others become the author of their own lives?
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so yeah, I belong to a typical Indian middle class family.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: You can say and you know, it life was all good.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: Everything was going good.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, when I was in school or in college days, you know, people used to ask this question, which is, you know, very common for that particular age group that, you know, who you want to become in life.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: What do you want to do with your life?
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: And somehow I never had any answer to that question.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: So you know, whenever someone used to ask me that, I just used to come back frustrated and you know, I just used to think that I really don't know what do I want to do.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: Because maybe I have never thought from that ending.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, so that's what was running in my mind.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, while this was running in my mind, or unfortunately tragedy happened and you know,
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, I think I've got my goal or I've got my purpose in my life.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, due to uncertain conditions, I just lost my father when I was 17 and, you know, then the only goal or the only purpose in front of me was, you know, to take care of my family, financially, emotionally and, you know, whatever was needed.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: And so you know that's how I started working and you know then that's how I actually landed up in the IT career and you know I joined the IT world and then I landed up in Accenture because you know finance was the drawing factor for me.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: But then, you know, I got my why, but whenever I used to look at the people who are of my age, you know, I was able to see a lot of potential in them.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I was able to see that drive as well, that you know, I want to do something.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: But then you know, they were not able to proceed, you know, they were just stuck.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: They were not understanding how to go about it.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: What does a step I should be taking?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, because of all this, I thought that if I could come out from a girl, you know, who'd never had any dreams, and you know, actually I could do something for myself.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: I can write people also.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you know when I see people, you know, just, I would do I say there, you know, too much focused on the drama I call it on the earth plane.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, they're missing out on the higher purpose in their life.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: So I just want to help people, you know, so that they can identify or, you know, realize the true purpose on this earth plane and actually start living that.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: You've lived both the external success path and the internal growth generally, journey, which gives you a unique perspective.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: You shared that early in your career, money was a primary driver and even created a scarcity mindset that kept you in survival mode.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: Can you walk us through that phase in what shifted for you to move beyond that way of thinking?
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think because I just used to think that okay, money is always going to be an issue, you know, I always have to run behind earning money.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: So you always just left, you know, like, bills to bills or months to month that you know, okay, I get the salary and pay the bills.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why I developed a scarcity mindset.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: I used to think that you know, money would be finished very soon and I may be, you know, I'll not have anything for my family.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how I developed this care city mindset because somewhere I had a fear of losing money, you know, fear of maybe I will not be able to do more things from my family and you know then how I will survive.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how actually that mindset started creeping inside me.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: that shift from survival to intentional living is something so many people are trying to navigate.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: Can you share a moment where you've helped someone else break out of the same cycle, whether it was scarcity thinking or feeling struck, stuck, and step into a more empowered way of living?
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: So I had a client and you know, he was actually trying to work on his career.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: He was trying to set up his career and you know, he was putting all the hard work.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: He was, you know, talented.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: He had all the skillset.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: But still somehow was not working out for him.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: He was still not being able to financially independent and, you know, he was not able to set his career.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: But then when we walked together, the only thing we worked on was his mindset.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: So, his mindset, somewhere was a fear that, you know, because, you know, it's already been too late now, maybe I'm not able to do anything or I'm not able to settle in my career.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: And that fear was falling in behind, right, that fear was stopping him from achieving things.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: So, the only thing we did with him was work on the mindset, you know, just believe that things will work out.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like we have put in the hard work, we have all the talent and skills and you know our intention is pure and you know it will just work out so only by developing that mindset or practicing that mindset he was actually able to come out of that.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: yeah, those kinds of breakthroughs often require, you know, that mindset shifts.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's really important.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: You also talk about victim energy, which is something many people may not even realize they're operating in.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: How do you define victim energy?
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: And what are some signs that someone might
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's a very, very good question and that's my favorite, I would say, because I think because all these things are happening with me, I was, you know, operating a lot in the energy, right, so as you said, what other sites that you know people may not even recognize that they're operating in this energy, so I think the very first sign I would say to mention and it's again, to pay from my experience and also some of the other experiences is.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: whenever we are trying to delay a particular thing or when we are trying to give an excuse for not achieving something.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: If you find yourself doing that, that's the indicator, you know, you're started operating in with the energy.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's like I want to achieve something but maybe I don't have enough resources, I don't have enough money, some just delaying it or you know, maybe it's not the right time, I don't have time to do things, you know, really kind of giving an excuse.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's the first sign which people should look at and you know they're identified they're operating in the victim energy.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: The second most important thing I see and I believe that is very true as you know putting the responsibility of your life on someone else.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: It could be your parents, it could be a siblings, it could be a friends, it could be your relatives, anybody right?
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I am not able to achieve things in my life because of that particular person, you know, I requested him for it, but she denied it, you know.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that and now I'm not able to do anything.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: So whenever you see yourself, you know, putting that responsibility of burden of your life on someone else, you know, that that's the highest face where you can know that you're operating in the technology.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_02]: I would just like to give a short example here, you know, when I was in college, I always used to join the dance classes.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: I always wanted to go for it, but because you know I started working at any early age, I didn't have that much time.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: But after a certain point of time I still had time but still I was dealing it because I was operating in victim energy, you know, I just used to love telling people that I'm not able to go to the dials classes because I had to go back and after a certain point of that was not the truth.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I think this is what I would love to share with audience.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: for someone who recognizes, they may be operating from scarcity or victim thinking, what are practical steps or simple framework they can use to shift into ownership and personal responsibility.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's a very good shift because you know once you identify that you're operating in victim energy you should also be able to do certain things so that you can come out of that energy so I think the first and the foremost is you know start taking your decisions yourself even if you feel there's a doubt even if you're unsure about it, but start taking decisions by yourself.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: What happens with that is you know we start trusting of a self a lot more and that self doubt, you know, that just goes away because you mind is like trained, okay, you know, maybe RT can take right decisions.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_02]: When whatever is the situation, she can take decisions, so that based the self trust, you know, that self doubt is carried away.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that's the first step I would say, you know, to come out of from the victim energy and the second thing would be.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: you know, like taking 100% responsibility of your life.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: When I say responsibility, it's like, you know, not just in terms of the work or the things, but in the terms of emotions, in the terms of what do you feel?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: Most of the times what happens is, you know, we put that blame on the other people, like because you said something I'm feeling by.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I would just like to say or encourage everyone that you know, start taking the responsibility of your emotions as well on your own.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: that kind of shift doesn't happen overnight.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's built through consistent action.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: What are a few daily or weekly habits that helps someone stay grounded in an abundant ownership driven mindset, especially when external pressures or old patterns start creeping back in?
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: And so I think the wild one habit which I share with everyone is doing gratitude.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that is, you know, very common.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: But again, there is a lot of importance behind it today.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: What is happening is, you know, a lot of people are operating in the negative energy zone.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: So just to shift from that energy and coming to a zone of the positive energy, gratitude helps us.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say something went wrong, you know, on that particular day, you know, someone said something back to you and you know, you felt bad because of that.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: But if you come back at the end of the day, if you're writing, you're dragging your journal and you know, if you just say that, okay, at least I did not react there or you know, at least I understood her.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's how you actually come out from that zone and you know start building a positive energy around you so that that really helps and that is helping me a lot So I'm just sharing it from my experience so first would be gratitude Second would be You know the word what we use for ourselves
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: So what central world a lot of power, there's a lot of science behind it, right?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: So if we see someone, you know, using words like, you know, I'm confused.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure, but I'm lazy.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm very bad at it.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: Your brain starts believing it.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, your brain is creating enough evidence to prove that to you.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_02]: So it should be the other way around.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we should be creating other kind of evidences for the brain that I can do it.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm trying.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: So kind of positive statements instead of you know, a negative zone.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: This would be one habit.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I think I had one or habit which I had to share.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, that has helped me a lot or you know, that has brought
- 13:03[SPEAKER_02]: So I see discipline is, again, very much a key factor, but that's missing some of them today.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: So it actually builds you in a personality, that is, you know, sincere, that is functional.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: You take the decisions seriously, or whatever you do in your life, you take things seriously.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: So discipline, I think that's so underrated, habit, I would say, underrated quality.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: But if someone has that, I think they're already at a level where they should be.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: was there great habits and those habits really become the foundation for long-term change.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: And even if you can add each morning, when you wake up, the first thing you do is just say three things you're grateful for.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it could just be your grateful for waking up that day, your grateful for having a roof over your head, just saying those things could really set your
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you could go back and speak to your younger self when you were focused on money and navigating those early pressures, what would you say to her and how can listeners apply that insight in the way and their own lives today?
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, this is a very post or you know, this question is very close to me.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_02]: So because when I was a teenager or when I was and you know, I was so much behind building the life because I thought that, you know, I will just pass away, I love less time and you know, I need to do things quicker and you know, I actually never focused on what I used to feed from inside, I never expressed things so the only thing which I would love to tell my younger self is that you know, just be kind to yourself.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they tend to do things.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: The boy can wait, you know, that then just be your own cheerleader.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: What happens is, you know, we wait for others to cheer us.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: We wait for that validation, you know, that someone will appreciate what we are doing.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: But some of them it happens, but for most of them it doesn't happen.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, nobody can else can do that for you apart from you.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, just be that cheerleader for yourself.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, just enjoy whatever is happening.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: that perspective is something so many people need to hear regardless of where they are in their journey.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: If every listener walked away from this conversation, it made one intentional ship from survival mode to ownership.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: What would you want that ship to be and what's one step they can take today to begin?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, so I would like to share very powerful step here you could call it or it can be a framework as well and you know it's nothing but acceptance so many times I see people struggling only because they're not able to accept their truth.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: But when we start doing that, we actually forget to actually first pause and accept that what is happening with us, you know, maybe sometimes people are not able to accept that to deny their reality, you know, but then that doesn't help them to find that solution to it.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: So you know that that's the very first it because only when you accept you take the power of it, if you take the power to work on it, you have the power to change that.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: So if you can just accept your life as it is or you can accept who you are that that's one of the huge difference because in that's when you can work on it to make it better.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: So if anyone listening this just want to take one take away from this whole session, I for for me that would be this you know just accept your life.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for sharing such an honest and practical perspective on what it means to take ownership, not just of our goals, but of our mindset and the way we show up in our lives.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, RT for joining us today and sharing your stories in our advice.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, thank you so much, Greg, for having me to as a pleasure having you.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: And for everyone listening, thank you for joining us for another episode of Daily Influence.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: I hope today's conversation brought you insight and inspiration.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: If it's spoke to you, share it with someone who could use a little positivity today.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: This is a powerful reminder that influence starts with the responsibility, the way we think about money, challenges, and even the people around us.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Shape.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: the life we create.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: So here's something to consider this week.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: Where might you be operating in survival mode or giving your power away?
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: And what's one small shift you can make to take ownership instead?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: Because influence isn't something we talk about.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's something we choose every single day.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: Remember small actions create big impact.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: keep showing up, leading and growing one-day-to-time.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: Until next time, stay inspired and keep having a positive, responsible, influence.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Bye-bye!
