- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Now, don't get me wrong.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: I know that some people can have relationships with an ex and it's not awful.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: This one though is real weird.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Uh, Toby McGuire recently officiated his ex-wife's wedding.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, I could okay, I have one question about this.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Do they have kids together?
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: It looks like they do.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but that doesn't always make relationships from the past any nice.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, not at all.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: But I know there's a few instances of really, really great co-parenters.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: And when they go, oh, you know, it's the best for the kids, like we're not, we're not great together, then it still keeps you woven like a blanket.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Well, this is by far the extension to that.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: So it turns out Jennifer Myers was getting married to this Jeffrey Ogens Licey.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: How do you say this guy?
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, you O-G-U-N-L-E-S-I.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Ogen Lice?
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: O-U-G-N-S-L.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: No, O-G-U-N og I.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: L-E-S-I.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Ogen Licey?
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Anyway, Jennifer's marrying uh Jeffrey, right?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And she's she was married to Toby from 07 to 16.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: That's quite some time.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Turns out that uh Jennifer and Jeffrey have been together since 2013 and engaged since 2014.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: So there is that space of time.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: And um it turns out that Jennifer uh welcomed their third child in June, her first with this new guy.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So yes, I guess her and Toby do have kids.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: A couple at least.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think that there are times where you can go, we didn't work, but it doesn't mean that you're a terrible person.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna officiate your wedding?
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I honestly, so my friend Chad and his ex-wife are really, really close.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Like he's even gone on vacation with his ex-wife's now husband.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It's it's possible.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, don't get me wrong, you don't have to be awful to each other.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I wonder if that happens then.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: You need to be that close.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: But uh if that happens, do you sometimes go, oh yeah, when she would leave her toothpaste in the sink or something like that.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And then you hear she still does it, and then you're like, Your problem now.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's where there's a little bit of bonding.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Is that the bonding or I mean I I you know, and I the only reason I think it works is the kid thing because I know that I have some exes and I get along okay with most of them, but not so.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: I still don't know that I want to officiate a wedding.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Well well that and also it's just time to move on.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Well Okay, then case in point, why are you officiating the wedding?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Right, that's what I'm saying.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: The only thing that I can't do.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: You don't even have to go.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: The only thing that's really keeping them is the kid aspect of it where everyone feels safe and secure with everyone being around each other.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: I guess.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, or Toby McGuire's the biggest sucker on the planet.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: You guys decide wow.
