In the wake of his tragic death at 18, Harryson Anderson’s family is turning grief into purpose by launching the Harryson L. Anderson Foundation to fight gun violence and support other grieving families. The foundation offers a $2,500 scholarship to a senior at Ascend Leadership Academy and immediate aid to families affected by gun violence. A charity basketball tournament on his 19th birthday will honor his memory while raising funds.
