- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: every week.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I want to find the first message here from the website.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Ralph.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: So Ralph says, since we browns fans have been a bunch of what ifs or could have been, or hypotheticals, here's another one.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: Always love these.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: Ralph says, if the stars miss a line,
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: And to Sean Watts and starts playing 85, 90% of what he was, I'm assuming you mean what he wasn't Houston.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: Starts and finishes the season with a 10, 11 game win season that impresses most people.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's now in line as a front runner for comeback player.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: The year even with his ugly past, worse yet, what do the Browns do after the season?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: He says, by the way, love your podcast.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Love you too, Ralph, appreciate the message.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: my quick and easy answer to this type of hypothetical with the Sean Watson playing.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're getting back to his Houston days here in Cleveland in 2026 is don't worry about it.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to happen.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need to even concern ourselves with this hypothetical with this possibility because it's not happening.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: The dude hasn't played a full season since 20, 20.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: And if you go back even further when he was in Houston,
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's only played, I believe, one full season, his entire career, because if you remember as a rookie, tour the ACL, in this part of that season, I think there was a couple other minor injury, things that held him out of a gamer too, here and there in the other seasons in Houston.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: He had one, I believe, and you guys can fact check me on this.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think he only had one, maybe it was two, but it was two at the most.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's put it that way.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: Complete seasons so far in the NFL.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't play full seasons to begin with.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: And he hasn't since he's been here Cleveland the dude's been here for what what is it eight there there have been 85 regular season games since 2020 and he has played in 19 of them 19 out of 85 possible games for the Sean Watson since 2020 so no I'm not worried about it one bit there's
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's no way he plays well this year.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think he starts.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is really Shidorah Sanders job, the lose, and I don't think he'll lose it.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: People say, well, you know, well, Shidorah be looking over a shoulder.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe Shidorah Sanders is the type of player to look over his shoulder.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: There are guys are just built different.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's just built different.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: So then,
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: if you want to play in just a little bit I guess for you here Ralph into this hypothetical if the Browns did start the Sean Watson and he played a full season and we won 10 games and made a playoff push and everything like that.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would create a very
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: It'd be a difficult situation after the season because again, I believe the whole plan, when they trade it for Deshawnwats and gave him the contract, and then they've been restructuring that contract every single off season that he's been here.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: The idea was to kick the can further
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: obviously when you trade three first round picks plus more for a guy you anticipate him playing well for you.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the expectation was he's going to come in here.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to play well he'll play his five years and we'll give him an extension.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: we will give him that new signing bonus, which we can then take the money that we've already deferred to the future, pair it in, because I'm trying to explain this real quickly, like you get so many void years on a contract, and the void years that they use to restructure these, the deal with the Sean Watson, they're out, they don't have any more void years that they can push money into the future.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: for his contract where they can split it over this year and that year and whatever.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if they extend him, they get five more void years on the extension, whether they extensions a one year deal to your deal, I don't think it really matters.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think as long as they extend him, they get the option for five more void years which they can continue to spread that dead cap, down and down and down and down.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: To me, that would be the only situation where I see them even entertaining that idea.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to play well.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to play the whole season.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: We got to make a play off push with him as the leader, as the quarterback being what he was supposed to be again, don't think you guys got to worry about that.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: Let's kick it over here to the next message.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Preston.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: He says, hey, it's Preston from Charlotte again.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a while.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: I know I said it had a lot to ask.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully, surprisingly Andrew Barry has answered most of those questions for me.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got a couple here.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: So now I only really have two questions on my mind.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: One.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: What is your opinion on drafting two receivers in the first round?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think you guys recent episodes know my opinion on that go for it.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: Can't we are wide receiver core right now?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you said you could keep one or two of those guys and add one guy in the draft or you could completely replace the entire wide receiver room, I would go with that option.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Replace the whole damn thing.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's bad.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so he says I am absolutely on board taking Tate at six and I would also love, uh, Casey conception on at 24.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: There's a chance he could be available in the second round.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about that.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: There just isn't high enough chance that would make it more confident in us passing on him at 24.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Casey conception is anywhere close to available.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: at 39.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's going in the first round.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: He will be a first round wide receiver.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be shocked.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you got guys like Ricky Piersle and Xavier LaGette sneaking into the back of the first round here in the last, what recent years, Casey Conceptsione is 100% going to be a first round receiver.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: He says one of the reasons I like Conceptsione is what me, Josh got into recently, Tate would work very well with a receiver like Conceptsione and another, now that I think of it
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I completely agree, I think he is far and away the most versatile receiver in the draft.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can use him more.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: And outside receiver, having run sevens, eights and nines all the time due to his speed and surprising contested catchability, he does have that.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: You can use him more of a slot receiver and have him attack zone coverage underneath and in the middle of the field he's very good at that you can use him as a gadget receiver throw screens and do jet sweeps how you can even use him to return kicks which.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he did in college he was a kick a punt return and very very good at he says so I absolutely love concepts on even with this slight drop issue and even then scouts have said it is very fixable.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: I want to talk about the drops real quick on the concept Cion.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: I've been listening to some film reviews, guys that study film on receivers every year and are really good at it.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I watch film on receivers.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't play receiver.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a pro receiver coach or anything.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know exactly what I'm looking for.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: I like to watch and listen to guys who do know what they're talking about.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Break down these receivers.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: and they attributed a lot of the drops issue with Casey Concepcion to the quarterback play, Marcel Reed.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: It was a Reed.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Marcel Reed at Texas A&M.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Apparently, and I didn't watch a lot of Texas A&M ball, so anybody out there who's an A&M fan or watched a lot of those games, let me know if this is true or false.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: But what I was hearing from these film break downs is that Marcel Reed kind of left a lot of hospital balls out there.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot of opportunities for consumption to maybe make a contested grab, or he was making a catch in traffic, and as soon as he had the bonus hand, he was getting hit.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: badly and the ball would pop out.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe that got labeled or, you know, charted as a drop in the box score.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of the situations were really on the quarterback making some bad throws and putting him in some dangerous situations.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not as concerned with the number of drops whenever I hear the context broken down around those drops.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Jerry Judy wears just the ball hits his hand and then, oh, never mind, it's up in the air for anybody to come grab it's I don't think it's like that.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: So you guys let me know if you know differently on that, but that's what I understand about the drops issue for KC Concepts you own.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Preston's next question here is going to lead me into my first voice mail as well.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: But he says, second question is, do you think we have any chance at signing Taylor Decker, the former Lions left tackle who they released.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: He says, are you at all interested in him?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: Short answer?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I am.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's awesome personally.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's on the older side, but isn't too old.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's about Elton Jenkins, age correct me if I'm wrong.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: Jenkins.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'd have to pull it up.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's around 30, but I think Taylor Decker's 32 last time I checked.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: He says he plays left tackle, which is the only position Andrew Barry didn't really address head on in free agency.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's really the only unpatched hole in the offensive line right now.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure you all know this Decker is a Ohio State Buckeye as well.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's actually from Vendalia, which is a bit north from Dayton.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: So are you interested in him?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to hear your opinions as always.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Go Browns and go bucks.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'll let you throw the go bucks in there.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I am definitely on board with Taylor Decker and before I talk about Decker, I'm going to let Mr. Kenny Mack talk a little bit about Taylor Decker.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: You guys, it's Kenny Mack and let's get right down to it.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's one move that we can make to make this draft way easier on ourselves.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: And that's signing Taylor Decker.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: If you bring in Decker, all of a sudden your biggest hole left tackle is gone.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_02]: you're not forcing anything on six and 24.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: And like I said, it's our biggest hole and it's not the greatest position to develop.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like every tackle in this draft is a guard.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: But I digress.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: Decker, let's get back to him.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: Ten-year vet, 140 starts.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Proble guy.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's not a lead anymore, some may say, but he's going to stabilize the bar inside and that's what you need right now and hell.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: He might learn something from George Warhop.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_02]: Then you take Carnell Tate at 6.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: And at 24, I mean, I would take another receiver, but you know they're going to go after Peter Woods.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's just too penalizing with that elite first step that he has.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: Now what I'm getting at though is you can develop somebody behind Decker.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_02]: I would take Mark L. Bell, that's a massive human being, 6, 9, 340 pounds, super Rob, he's got a big upside.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_02]: After that, you know what I would do,
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: I will get a nickel back, another guard, and now you're almost completely rebuilding this roster.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: So guys, tell me what you think.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go brownies.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Kenny, thank you for the voicemail.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: As always, love hearing from you, Kenny will be with us live on Friday.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: I believe is when we're planning it'll be me, Kenny, just so we're going to do a YouTube live episode.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you guys tune in for that jump in the chat, ask us some questions, hang out with us Friday night.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: That should be around 8.830 something like that on.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: Friday, Kenny, Taylor Decker going back here to Preston's question and everything else.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be a very smart move to go get Taylor Decker on a one year hell two-year deal, whatever you got to do to sign him to bring him in.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Because like Kenny said, a lot of the tackles in this class are probably going to end a playing guard in the NFL.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the situation.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm not saying all of them, I think.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: There are guys that have the size, the length, the skill set to play tackle.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't necessarily mean they're going to be left tackles and there's no real stud entrenched day one plug and play left tackle in this draft class.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: They all need some development.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Justin from Jersey.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: We got a voice milk coming up from you, but I do want to let you know, dude, you have been selling me on Spencer Fano.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I've been reading some more on Spencer Fano.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: I know I've been on here talking about how I think he'll end up playing guard at the NFL, just because of his, his lack of length, the, just a little bit over 32 inch arms, all that kind of stuff.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's not a terrible thing.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: The more I've been reading, watching, listening to about Spencer Fano, it really does sound like he's a guy wherever you need him on the line.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: You can put him and you can expect him to play very well.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: Play at a high level, guard, right, left, tackled, right, left.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess he even took snaps at center at the combine, showing off that he can play center as well.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of sounds like a new age next generation Elton Jenkins type of player who's versatile and can play all spots at a high level.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I would be I'm coming around on Spencer Fano at that for the Browns though.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think they would have to take him at six.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: I do not think he's going to be available later on in the draft, but getting back to Taylor Decker what you can do then if you sign him to like a two-year deal.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is it allows you to not one not reach for a tackle at six, which if you take a Monroe Freeling, you're reaching at six for a guy like that.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: If you take a cane proctor, in my opinion, you are reaching on trades and not proven what you can, proven expectations what you can get out of them day one type of thing.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: And with the top six pick, that's kind of what you want.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_01]: You want a guy that you're like, hey, I know this guy is one of the top players in this entire class from day one.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're, I mean, obviously they're going to continue to grow developing, get better at the NFL level.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to impact player from day one.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: And it does allow you to do something.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I got notes here for more of your guys' voicemails.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to give anything away from other people because you guys made a lot of great points on this stuff.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: Preston can he let's table the Taylor Decker thing and I'll make a point about that here.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'll just make myself a little note when I get to Colton's voice mail.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll do that one next and then can he just made a quick aside in that voice mode that I thought was interesting.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: I brought up Peter Woods Monday on the other players, other prospects to know show that I did.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: it would not be shocking to me if we get to 24 and Andrew Barry takes Peter was or one of the defensive tackles.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: He just cannot stop drafting DTs highly right now and I'm hoping that with Mason Graham at five that kind of you know scratch that itch for him at least for a year or two we will see.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is partnered with Kalshi.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Browns fans are you ready to put your money where your predictions are, with Kalshi, America's number one regulated prediction marky you can legally trade on events that actually matter to you.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: And the best part is you don't need to predict specific stat lines and compile a seven-like parlay just to win big.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: With Kalshi the objective is either yes or no.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Will Shidorah Sanders be the Browns week one starting quarterback?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: Will Fernando Mendoza be the first overall pick in the draft?
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Will the Browns make their pick at six or will they trade out of that spot?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: And in other sports, will the calves win the NBA Finals?
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: You can put your money on these predictions and more with CalShe if you want to try it out.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: CalShe is giving $10 to anyone who signs up at calshe.com slash dogs and trades $100.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: Get away from disadvantageous sports books and dive into real world outcomes with real time odds and real payouts.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: Head over to CalShe, KAL,
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: SHI dot com slash dogs DAWGS or just click the link in the description to get $10 when you trade 100 with Kalshi because why shouldn't you get paid for being right?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: We will see what they decide to do at 24.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: We got some more questions about that as well.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: And actually, all that kind of leads right into and I didn't plan this, but it leads right into Colton's voice.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now, so let's hear from Colton.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, what's up, dog packets, Colton?
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: Coming to you live from temperamental, dover, Ohio?
- 17:19[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, just want to get your thought on something here.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_03]: say we walk out of Thursday night's draft and we have not taken an offensive tackle.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_03]: In an ideal world, I would love to have Tate at 6 and then I like the Emmanuel Warren kid out of Toledo, the safety spot.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's a huge void that we're having.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if Ronnie Hickman is the long-term answer for that.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_03]: So, I'd love to see you got it 6-3 on the back end, comes in, forces turnovers, like to see something like that happen.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_03]: But I know we need a tackle to address, but
- 17:51[SPEAKER_03]: When an ideal world I would love to see us at 39 go get Max Eonachor, hopefully I pronounce it right, the tackle from Arizona State.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_03]: So, I want to get your thoughts on if something like that did happen.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_03]: Would you be happy?
- 18:05[SPEAKER_03]: Would you be upset?
- 18:05[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't take another tackle prospect versus Eonachor at 39.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_03]: And then you take two just on hey at 24.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_03]: Are you sold solely on drafting a tackle in that spot?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks a lot Colton.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I'm good with them taking like two receivers in the first round.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I've said that before and that would mean no offensive tackle in the first round.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay with that.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay with that, especially if you're coming away with my favorite guys are Carnell Tate and Casey Concepcion.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: That would be my favorite ideal pairing in the first round if you were going to go two receivers.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think that would.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: really revolutionize the Browns wide receiver room right away.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: You have two impact high-level guys that can come in and make things happen for this offense.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: Emanuel McNeill warned at 24 again another guy I talked about the other day on the last episode.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: Someone a name to watch for as pick 24 gets closer on Thursday night.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns are clearly interested in him.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's the safety out of Toledo, like you said, ball hawk, turnover machine, a dude that I think would be, no, I like Ronnie Hickman don't get me wrong, but again, he's not under contract yet.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't gotten that finalizer figured out whether or not he's for sure coming back.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: If he does, then there's going to have to be some sort of extension worked out.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: I call him, M.W.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: in my nose.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: He nano-bick Neil Warren would be a I like Ronnie Hickman.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't hear him not saying, but a huge upgrade at the free safety position over him.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought Ronnie Hickman played very well last year.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you go look at his numbers from last season, he had a damn good year, Ronnie Hickman did.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: But McNeil Warren could come in here and he's that type of player that from day one, he's your starter, he can come in and make things happen on the field and start making an impact on the defense.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: So do not be surprised.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: Can he talk to about Peter Woods, Colton's talking about a men in McNeil Warren don't be surprised if one of these guys ends up being the pick a 24 instead of a tackle, instead of a receiver.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: What, Kenny?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: What, Preston already talked about?
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: If we were to somehow sign Taylor Decker ahead of the draft.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: and you can wait until 39 and get a guy like Max Eonachor out of Arizona State, that would be very cool to me.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say they don't go to receivers in the first round, because I don't think they will.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry does not like to invest at the wide receiver position.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: We know this.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: So if, and this is a big if for me, if he takes Tate at six, which I don't think he will.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you want my personal, the way I feel right now here two weeks away from the draft, I don't think we're taking Tate at 6 if we're there.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'll be a Monroe Freelink, a Spencer Fano, an offensive lineman.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: I do think most likely we're trading back.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: But to go back to what we're talking about here, say it's Tade at six, say it's a manual McNill Warren at 24.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Then you get your Eonarchor at 39.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe like a Blake Miller falls out of the first round.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: You take him.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: There are some tackles that I think would be very interesting to grab, especially if you've already got a guy like Taylor Decker and you can set him.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: the rookie behind Decker, and we've also then got Howard over at Wright Tackles, what they told him to this point.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know we got Howard for this year, and then we signed him to a two-year extension on top of it.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: But that doesn't mean that if we take like an Yannachor or Blake Miller, somebody who primarily played right tack on college, we couldn't keep them at right tackl.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: And let them continue to develop behind both of these veterans on the book ends of that offensive line.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Colton, but thank you for sending in the voice, Mel shout out, Dovero, Ohio, the old hometown of yours truly right here, and still the hometown of Blake.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that is a happen in place right there.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I got my football helmet right here, the Dover D on that silver shell.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let's move over here.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a couple left.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Let's hear what Connor has to say.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_04]: What's up boys, Connor Colin and again, my question is obviously about the draft, the draft is huge, it's where our us brown fans can get excited and have that hope because come Sunday, we're all going to be having high blood pressure and X, Y and Z, but my question was, if Cardinal tates off the board at six, what is the likelyness that we trade back and what's the likelyness that we, you know, make that pick at six and who would we take?
- 22:35[SPEAKER_04]: Now, you can't predict a tradeback.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: No one really can predict the future there.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_04]: So another question I had was, if Tait's off the board, how essential is it for us to get a McKin lemon or Jordan Tyson?
- 22:49[SPEAKER_04]: Or do you think the gap between lemon and Tyson aren't as big as everyone's making it out to be as the other receivers like KC, conception on and Boston and Chris Bell and Omar Cooper Jr.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate it, guys.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: Go dogs.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, to answer that very last question there, Connor, I kind of worked my way back through your voicemail, but I like Casey conception over Jordan Tyson.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: For me, my top three receivers would be carnal tape, McIlamant, Casey conception, and then Jordan Tyson, Denzel Boston, would ground out my top five.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: I would take conception over Jordan Tyson, and it's not just the injury stuff, though that is a major factor in that evaluation, but I just think that Jordan Tyson
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's just such a tough evaluation for me because he does a lot of things well, and he's a dynamic receiver for sure.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I just don't feel like he does anything elite.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he is an overly physical guy.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think I've said this before.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's kind of a soft player.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: And when I'm thinking of a receiver like that, who's got a great route running acumen, and
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: Can doesn't really make a whole lot of plays after the catch makes some can make some, but it's not really as calling card again doesn't do any one thing great.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: And kind of a softer player, and I've seen this comp actually for Jordan Tyson, and it's what is pushing me off of him is play style is very similar to Jerry Judy.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: We've already got Jerry Judy.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: I need a dog out there for sure at the Y receiver position, so that's for me if tates off the board.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: at six.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: How likely is it that the Browns would decide to trade back?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's very likely the Browns trade back even if Tate said on the board.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think there are enough teams pining for Cardinal Tate right now.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think you've got the commanders, you've got the saints.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think you've got the chiefs.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think you've got three teams behind you.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: in a row that are looking to get Carnal Tate or the top wide receiver onto their team.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Why wouldn't we be doing that beats the hell out of me?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I can see that I androborre using that as the carrot on the stick to say, hey, why don't want to you guys come up and get in front of the other two and take Carnal Tate, we move back a couple spots, grab a couple extra draft picks and then we just draft Monroe Freeling anyway.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: Back type of thing.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: I could, that's what I am anticipating.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to be all excited, if and again, he might not even be there at six, but if Colonel Tate is available at six, Browns are on the clock.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be pumped and getting excited on draft night and I'm still going to be cautionary, everybody wait and see if we trade back because that's what I think honestly is most likely.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: I, so the cowboys are obviously the team that gets picked on a lot here for trading back with the Browns.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: You see that all the time.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not like it's just some random, I'll just trade back with the cowboys and we have no idea if they're even interested in moving up.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: There have already been reports, rumors, whatever you want to call it, that the cowboys have been in discussions with the cardinals.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: moving up as high as from 12 up to three with Arizona to try to get David Bailey, the edged rush out of Texas Tech.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: So, through everything that I'm hearing, reading and listening to these analysts and the insiders who kind of have some sources within the NFL ranks, the Dallas Cowboys seem very,
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: intent on adding a high level defender in the first round, so if you're sitting there at picks six and say David Bailey does not go top five and or Caleb Downs is still there.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: or sunny styles.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: One of these truly elite difference making prospects on the defensive side of the ball.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's another carrot the Browns could stick on the end and wave out there and dangle in front of the Cowboys and say, come on up here to six and get them.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Get your defensive guy, and then they go back to 12 and they just take freeling if he's still there at 12, which he should be.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: McCy Lemman, if they decide to go watch your seeper, whatever they want to do.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: But if you trade back from six and takes on the board, you're not getting carnal tape.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: I put the odds at that happening very low that he would get through the commanders, the saints, the chiefs.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see it happening.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: Those teams need receivers and want receivers too badly, and they've all met with him and worked amount and stuff.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: There's definitely intrigue from those teams as well.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Butcher Box for Pets.

- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: I got another message here.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: I want to shout out somebody.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: But before I do that, I'm sorry.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: We have to get to Justin, Jersey Justin.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get to your mock drafts.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: So let's hear a man.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_05]: What's up, everybody?
- 29:32[SPEAKER_05]: It's your friendly neighborhood Browns fan.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_05]: I hear a New Jersey made a video earlier today.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_05]: I posted it on my TikTok account.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_05]: And that's that Daddy dog talk at DAWG.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: Regarding this mock draft, I'm about to go over real quick.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_05]: Six I took her and I'll take no brainer.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go right to 24.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_05]: This is a guy that I've been really watching.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_05]: I know he has a little bit shorter arms and that's not a huge aspect.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_05]: You like it alignment, but the dudes in absolute monster wins in the trenches.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_05]: You know, powerful thick frame guy is an elite anchor at one blocking and he plays that left side at 64, 320 pounds And if you really watch the film even with the shorter arms when it comes to a battle of force, he usually wins absolute monster
- 30:18[SPEAKER_05]: So I took him at 24.39.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: I went Omar Cooper Jr. Brassel was actually off the board already.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_05]: So Omar was there no brainer took him.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_05]: And at 70 I took Max Claire.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_05]: I really like Max Claire.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_05]: He gives me Travis Kelsey vibe.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_05]: She finds that sweet spot in the defense.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_05]: Then at 170 I took Bud Clark.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_05]: The safety that kind of can compliment Grant Elpit, playing a little further back.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_05]: But that was my order.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_05]: at 24 Cooper Junior 39 Max Claire 70 and Bud Clark at 170.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_05]: Let me know your thoughts.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_05]: Go Browns.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_05]: Who?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: So first of all, make sure you guys go follow Daddy Dog Talk on TikTok and see what Justin's got going on over there with his content.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: Carnotated six.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to love it.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: Every mock I see with that.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, yes, that's what I want us to do.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: Although I've been telling you guys repeatedly here, I don't think we will.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: Number 24 did anybody catch just an eye?
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: I did not catch who you even picked there.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: I heard you talking about the the lineman with the short arms, but he's a dog and he's a beast and all this kind of stuff.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: Who was it?
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Was it Lomu?
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: Was it Caleb Lomu?
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: 24?
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: Did you end up taking Spencer Fano at 24?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: If it was Fano, I don't think he's going to be there at 24.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: I do think he'll be...
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think now he knows it's going to be the first Lyman off the board, but I think Spencer Fano might be the second one.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: Unless the Browns do something crazy at six and they make the second line in Monroe Freeling or Caden Proctor.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Again, that could happen to guys.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: That could really happen too.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: But Justin, you've definitely got me sold like I said earlier on Spencer Fanon.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm moving your way, buddy.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm moving your way and it's not necessarily as a tackle.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm kind of, I'm taking my take of Spencer Fanon might not be a tackle.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: But now I'm kind of shifting gears to what you were saying how he's such a damn good lineman and saying, you know what, maybe I don't care if he ends up playing guard.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: If he can play at that high of a level guard,
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: And we ended up taking him at six.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I just need some good players on my team That would be nice, especially on that off-centice side of all.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh Mark Cooper Jr. 39 awesome.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good place to get him.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: I've been again the
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: The analyst breakdowns that I've been listening to on the Whiter Severs, like very, very specific Whiter Severs' centric people, talking about Omar Cooper Jr. and how he's going to be a very good NFL Whiter Severs, but they're not sold on him being a first round talent, so their 39 would be a very nice spot.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: If the Browns, if he was still on the board and the Browns could get him,
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: at 39 but again at 24 you want to you want to take a receiver there I am still that is that is my spot for Casey Conceptsione.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm I'm I'm sold on him I've learned enough about him watching enough read enough listening enough I want Casey Conceptsione.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, 70, you went max clear and you rounded out your mock with 170.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: You took Bud Clark's the safety.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's great.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think we need to get a safety.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of help there.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: Max clear, obviously, I'm going to love you.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: I love taking Buckeyes, but I do think he's a very good Titan.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he was underutilized at Ohio State.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: He transferred in there from Purdue after having such a great season for the boiler makers.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the season wasn't what he wanted it.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure to be.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: But when you're competing with the Ohio State wider severs, and they'd
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: They just don't feature and utilize Titan very much.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's really a safety valve type of position for the buck eyes, and they throw it at the backs out of the backfield and tate and Jeremiah Smith and Brandon Innes and all these guys, like it's just, there was not that much for Max Clarity eat, I guess, at Ohio State, but I think he's a very good Titan.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: So Justin, I like your mock, keep sending them in you guys again two weeks and we will have the final results of the NFL draft.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: But I got another mock coming up probably early next week.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: It'll probably be my final mock draft of the off season here ahead of the following week, which is draft day.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of crazy.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: But to round things out here today, I wanted to shout out Tracey 635 on YouTube Tracey is a dog pack member on YouTube, which we never talk about.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can join our membership on YouTube as well.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's only 99 cents a month.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: You get the icon next to your name on YouTube.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: You get to use the cool browns and mojis that we create during the live streams and the chats and everything like that.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: So Tracy 635 has been very active on YouTube, leaving a ton of comments and it's been a lot of fun.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: TRAC, I am assuming this is a she, so I'm going to say I think she is very plugged into the Browns and very interactive about the podcast, what we talk about the Browns so we love that.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: This comment from her the other day I thought was definitely worth bringing up on the show.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: And she says, I do see Andrew Barry shocking us again, still expect him to trade down, but the dolphins are also wanting to trade down.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Does anyone think Andrew Barry might trade the number six pick to a team in exchange for their 2027 first and another pick in 2026?
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: What are your thoughts?
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, you know, that's a valid point.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: There's something I had not really thought too deeply about.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: But what if, you know, we're talking about the tradeback with Dallas or with the chiefs or the saints or whatever, just they move within five spots where they're picking now or so?
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: And what if they don't?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: What if they trade back?
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: to, and I don't, I don't have the draft or report up, but what if they, what if a team at 29, whoever that is, is like, hey, cave downs on the board, we want Caleb down.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: We'll give you our 20, 27 first, and you can have our second round pick this year.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: What if Andrew Bear just moves out of the top 10 altogether?
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: Out of the top 15 altogether.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: And it just goes cleared to the back end of the first round.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody moves all the way up to get the guy they want.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: And we pick up a second round or maybe we get like a second round or an extra, maybe we get a first and two seconds for that kind of a move.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: To get a significant draft capital in return, you're gonna have to move significant spots in this draft.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: Angle me like last year where you got to move from two to five and get all those draft picks from the J-Wires.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they were thinking.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: That was a totally lopsided trade.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry would've been a fool not to take that one.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: That was a trade down that worked.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: That was a trade down that made a ton of sense.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: You got to hit on the picks.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: And the moment looks like he did, but again, 24 was part of that.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: So you got to hit on 24 to make that even more worth it.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: But this year in this draft with the lack of high end elite talent at the top end of the class, I think you're going to have to move back quite a few spots if you want to recoup because I see people won't just trade to 12 with Dallas and get their 27 first.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's going to happen.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you're getting multiple first.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: You might get a first in a couple seconds or something like that to do that.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: But if you could get another first or I guess it would be two first.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: You'd get you get back to 28, 29, 27, whatever it is.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: Get the first next year, get another second round pick.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I hadn't really thought about that Tracy.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: you brought up a great point and I wanted to bring it up on the show because I thought that was worth mentioning and again another thing to look for on draft night with the brown with Andrew Barry just never know which way they're gonna go.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate you guys tuning in.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for all the voicemails, all the messages, keep in the content coming here on the show.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: You guys rock.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: I love hearing from everybody.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: I love hearing your questions, your opinions, your thoughts.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: And if, you know, we don't have to agree on everything.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: You just, Justin has been back and forth with me about Spencer Fano.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I have been turned.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: I have been turned from, I don't want him at six because I don't think that's a worthwhile pick to, you know what if they take Spencer Fano at six,
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: I will.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I will.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think Justin is right.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think I was putting too much emphasis on the lack of length and the shorter arms and the history that those type of players just do not profile well as a tackle and saying screw it.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: If he ends up being a super high level guard and we ended up taking him at six, okay, whatever.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, just get me some good players for God's sake, get me good players on this team.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: year after year the last three decades.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: We've missed on a lot of first round picks, a lot of top 10, a lot of top 15 picks that we have had and we have just made the wrong decision.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: So let's see if Andrew Barry can build on what he did last draft has he truly broken away.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: from the first five drafts that he had which turned out not well at all for us, kind of why we're in the situation we are now with a lot of holes on this team.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: Can we have back to back strong drafts and finally get a real core, a real strong young youthful core of players to be excited about and Cleveland again, draft night two weeks from tomorrow.
