- 1:14Speaker 1: Keavin, it just doesn't end for the family of Medel
- 1:16Speaker 1: and McCain, does it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I'm afraid not No. So a couple of extraordinary cases
- 1:21Speaker 2: currently before the judges here where two women have denied
- 1:26Speaker 2: stalking the family of Madeline macan. You remember the little
- 1:30Speaker 2: girl went missing in two thousand and seven. Lots of
- 1:34Speaker 2: conspiracy theorists, lots of people suggesting that they might know
- 1:38Speaker 2: who it is. But I'm afraid the little girl has
- 1:41Speaker 2: never been found. And today a woman from southwest Poland
- 1:46Speaker 2: and a sixty year old from Cardiff in Wales attended
- 1:51Speaker 2: Leicester Crown Court. They entered not guilty please, and were
- 1:54Speaker 2: told that they would both go on trial on the
- 1:56Speaker 2: second of October. The twenty three year old from south
- 2:00Speaker 2: west Poland, or Lubin, is accused of sending letters and
- 2:03Speaker 2: messages to Madeline's parents and also to her siblings Sean
- 2:08Speaker 2: and Amelie McCann and also up to February of this year.
- 2:14Speaker 2: The one of the defenders accused of going to the
- 2:18Speaker 2: family's home in Leicestershire in the Midlands as well, so
- 2:21Speaker 2: obviously a great deal of distress course to the family
- 2:25Speaker 2: and these allegations being pursued through the courts now by
- 2:28Speaker 2: those relevant authorities, and last week ministers here in the
- 2:32Speaker 2: UK approved a further two hundred and twenty thousand Ousie
- 2:36Speaker 2: dollars of funding for the ongoing investigation into Maddie's disappearance.
