  story. I thought that was well balanced. I did appreciate and they had

  a lot of parallels to and a lot of nuances where they were sometimes talking

  about the same exact thing just in their per and I appreciated that. I

  thought I was very smart colonizers. I mean, like, to me,

  the episode like, like the first watch, I was like, damn,
• 9:11
  this is a little heavy handed. But at the same time, I'm like

  it needs to be because people don't get it. So the second time I

  watched it, I was like, no, this isn't even while it can
• 9:22
  be very direct, there were so many ooh jabs where I was like ooh,
• 9:26
  I was dancing with them on the second watch. So yeah, it

  was a fantastic episode, especially after the tragedy of everything last week. You

  needed like resistance, you needed hope, needed you know, fuck the colonizers.

  So that was great for me. And they still put us through it.

  Like they didn't come back and go, oh, here's some light work.

  It was like, no, here's some heartrending, emotional there's some nightmare

  it made like the message may seem heavy handled, but then when you really

  truly watch it and give it the space that needs to give, you're just
• 10:39
  like, no, they fucking did this very smartly. I got a question

  for y'all. I feel like this just as a creative, as a writer,

  I feel like this, and I even saw mister Demayo speaking about it

  on Twitter. It's a benefit to me of animation, right. It's the

  same thing with look at uh with the Spider Verse films, like the benefit

  of animation that I don't know of any live action thing that I've seen that
• 11:05
  has that ability to jump between genres or even theme and mood so rapidly like
• 11:13
  animation can do, you know. And I don't know if that's just a
• 11:16
  benefit of animation, And that's why I'm asking you off there's any And I'll

  also ask the listeners, all the viewers out there, if there's any live

  action film, TV series, whatever that jumps like that the way animation,

  because Spider Verse did the same thing. To me, it'd be horrific one

  moment, you'd be crying in that moment, then you're cheering, you know,

  with joy in that moment, then you're laughing. Yeah. I I'm

  sure there is an example, but I can't think of one right now.

  And the reason for that, I do feel like as animation as a genre,

  we allow the impossible. We right, we understand, like we naturally

  that anything else is not art, but this is this is moving visuals,

  think, and this is just me. I think one of the closest things

  to it, and it gets knocked a lot, is the Marvel the Marvel

  series, not individual movies, but if you look at it and it's totality,

  Marvel took us through. It went from happy to joy to winning to

  losing to lost to death, you know, because at the end game,

  you know, people were crying, people were dealing with like they touched a

  lot of different topics. And I think that that's one of the few things

  I can think of, this like live action, that people kind of allowed

  then the TV show Legion was really good at doing this kind of ship.

  was it was real. It was almost jarring sometimes because you'd be like,
