You're looking great. There's two of you. I can't believe it. Hey with him at the helm. I think we'll be alright. I think we'll be okay. How's it going? Can't stop one stuff. How are you bud? You guys doing alright? Is it give snow on the ground still? Midthought Eric: Good We have a special guest there are two of us. It's the next generation of mid-thaw area We're keeping we're keeping it flow and we're keeping it going can't stop won't stop Good No, actually we it's finally not raining and it's still a little chilly but It's warming up. We made it all the way to like 68 today. I Didn't say 67 Mid Thought Chris: Is that a no? Okay, Goodness, how ever. No, you didn't. Okay, he's screaming. He's very excited to be on the show. does it. Brody, it's so exciting to be a part of a syndicated ⁓ podcast and you should really feel honored at all the people that are going to be seeing this right now. Tell me Brody. Midthought Eric: He's very excited to be on the show. He said, I want to see how it works. Yes, we have a lot of people logged in, don't we? Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ Got one ⁓ So Brody tell me what? What sports going on right now you swimming right now you playing baseball. I mean the snow just melted so I don't know how you're doing that but Midthought Eric: Play baseball. He's playing baseball. the audience about last night. What was last night? What did we do last night? Oh, I had my swim banquet. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah? What happened last night? Okay, tell me about that. Midthought Eric: I got an award. Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ what'd get the award for? Midthought Eric: Wowing, the coach. Mid Thought Chris: Wowing the coach. I like it. I like it The wow factor like this kid is like Michael Phelps in the water He's like a dolphin Midthought Eric: You got the wow wow wow award. Wow. Mid Thought Chris: Eric, what's up, buddy? How are you? Yeah. Midthought Eric: I'm good. I'm good. We had opening day of base this game of the baseball today. ⁓ opening day, very festive. I'm a coach. Yes. Mid Thought Chris: Game of the baseball, okay? Did you your coach this year? Aren't you? You're a coach. Yeah What ⁓ yeah, tell me more about that. How's your team looking? Midthought Eric: Yeah. They're pretty, ⁓ what you say? He's he's given the not at all. I mean, it's okay Let's just say we're young we actually they performed they did a lot better than I thought they would and ⁓ If if anybody local is watching this is no insult to the Royals ⁓ But yeah, we're young and ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: How's your rotation? How's your rotation? You guys will be okay? Okay, okay. Okay. We're calling out the team. All right Midthought Eric: I'll tell you, I was impressed. We looked pretty good. We made some mistakes, but we looked pretty good. And we ended in a slug fest, AKA walk fest. Five to five tie. We ran out of time and he said, next game's going. You guys are done. So we didn't get to finish. Mid Thought Chris: Okay, okay. All right. You guys are done. Just is it ⁓ I'm guessing based on I'm guessing based on that information is not coach pitch Midthought Eric: It is not coach pitch. It's all kid pitch. Yeah, so... First in pitcher. played second in shortstop. Well, I thought you meant like my favorite ones. Mid Thought Chris: Okay. ⁓ okay. Brody, position do play? First in picture, I like it, I like it. Second in shortstop. ⁓ okay, okay. Sweet! Midthought Eric: Yeah, so historically it has been the first, this is our third year on the team in this league. Mid Thought Chris: Okay, alright. Midthought Eric: ⁓ In the last two years it had always been ⁓ coach pitches the first three innings So there's a lot of hitting and a lot of fielding ⁓ And then the last three innings because it's six inning games ⁓ The last three innings the kids pitch and if they get in trouble the coach comes in and bails them out well this offseason the board decided That they were gonna have kids pitch the entire time. No coach pitch Mid Thought Chris: Go! Mm-hmm. Gotcha. ⁓ okay. Midthought Eric: So that doubled the amount of walks and everything else. ⁓ I personally think it'll be a good thing ⁓ eventually. I personally think it's ruined. Mid Thought Chris: Mm. Yeah. He thinks it's ruined. There we go. That didn't take long. Midthought Eric: ⁓ we got that one out there fast. Yes, but ⁓ we don't have any City Connect jerseys. Mid Thought Chris: Sweet. No, those are. that is so bad. Midthought Eric: The Met City Connect jerseys are the worst in the world if a Producer might can get if can you can you just Google the Met City Connect jerseys and we can all make fun of them together ⁓ I'll tell you what the when the first when the City Connects first came out For the those of you following the baseball ⁓ They were pretty good. They just redid a lot of them this year and City Connect 2.0 and I'll tell you what they are ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: It's such a terrible jersey. It was cool. Not the nuts. Midthought Eric: Most of them went backwards not forwards. Yeah, I don't I think there were some the first round a lot of the ones in the first round I really liked ⁓ There are two by the way trivia question there are two there are two teams who are not precipitating in the City Connect jerseys ⁓ Can you guess who they are you probably guess one of Mid Thought Chris: Most of them are bad. Yeah. By the way... Hmm. You could probably you think I can guess why do think I can guess Tampa? Midthought Eric: Yeah, one of the teams you could probably guess. No, Tampa has one. Those are actually pretty cool. It's the old Devil Ray and they've got like little things swimming around. Mid Thought Chris: Okay. ⁓ nice. All right. Little thing swimming around. I like it. Little devil. Hey little. I don't. What do mean you think I can guess. Midthought Eric: Yeah, like little dev worries. Birdie, do you care to guess? Which two teams, one of them I think would be pretty obvious. They're like, we're not doing that. We're not doing that. Mid Thought Chris: One city connect would not be doing that. Why would they not be doing that? Midthought Eric: And what baseball the game of the baseball the most confused game I am knowing Wait, that's last that's is this is the same one cuz that's Pete Alonso is it? It's terrible. I thought they changed them. I know this year they have a brick Oh, they still have the bridge. They have a bridge on the helmet or that the hat is there a bridge on the hat? Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ that was last year. It's the same jersey. It's same jersey. Yeah. It's so bad. ⁓ really? ⁓ okay. ⁓ It looks like there is on that one. Midthought Eric: Yeah, it kinda does. so dumb. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, not a fan. Those are dumb. Not a fan. Midthought Eric: What an ugly, what an ugly Jersey. ⁓ anyways, the Yankees are not precipitating in the city connect. Mid Thought Chris: That track. that tracks. What? The Yankees are not. Midthought Eric: The game the Yankees are like our uniforms are so awesome. We're not messing with them. We're not we're not cheating in the game Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ about the cubs. Midthought Eric: The other one is the athletics and I think that's just because they give up because they have no home or a place to play So they're like we're not even gonna put forth the effort Mid Thought Chris: No home. What do mean they don't have a home? They're in Las Vegas now, aren't they? Midthought Eric: No, they're in Sacramento for like three years till they build a stadium. Well, they are the Las Vegas, but the stadium is just being started. Mid Thought Chris: Why does it say Las Vegas on their sleeve? So they're called Las Vegas, they're playing in Sacramento. Midthought Eric: Yes, they're playing like a double A stadium. Mid Thought Chris: Huh. Huh. Alright, that's one way to do it. Midthought Eric: They were so mad at Oakland. like, we're not even going to stay here. We're gone. Mid Thought Chris: We're gone, we're out. ⁓ man. Midthought Eric: Yeah, so anyways, Brody, what you got buddy? Shara, we've got the whole world listening, so... For what? Mid Thought Chris: The world is the world is your palm tree. As we like to say down here. Yeah you do. You have them at the beach don't you. Midthought Eric: palm tree. But we don't have those here. It's not here we have trees at the beach not palm trees. I don't is there a chat. don't see ⁓ there is Mid Thought Chris: You have trees at the base. All right. Yeah, it's over there. Sweet Brody. Tell me your best dad joke. I think that's a great way to go out. What do you think? Tell me your best dad joke. Midthought Eric: Pretty good jokes. Hmm. I don't want any dad jokes. Tell him about it. Mid Thought Chris: No? What's your best joke? Midthought Eric: ⁓ what time do you go to the dentist? Mid Thought Chris: When you're 230. Did I get it? ⁓ Yes, I got a good laugh. Did you hear the crowd? Did you hear the crowd Brody? All the people laughed at once. Midthought Eric: Ha Anything else buddy? There was all the people laughed at once. ⁓ why did the chicken cross the road? Mid Thought Chris: Awesome. to get to the other side. Midthought Eric: Because? Mid Thought Chris: I like it. There it is. We got another one. I love it. I love it. Midthought Eric: Because! Because! Hey, tell us about your girlfriends before you go. No, no! Wait, do you have one or more? One. Just one. Mid Thought Chris: Whoa, whoa, whoa, ⁓ Just one. Just one, Brody. Midthought Eric: Are you sure just one? Are you faithful to it starts with a B, right? Don't you dare don't you dare don't out him on the show Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ he says. my gosh. Eric, mid thought Eric, mid thought Eric. Midthought Eric: All right, Brady, what's one thing you're looking forward to this summer before we go? I don't know. One thing of the whole summer. We don't do those. We don't go on vacations. He's lying. He goes camping. He goes to the beach. He goes to beach again. He goes to the beach again. I'm to the beach in May. May? Isn't that when you guys are going to the crochet pool? Oh, you are going to the beach in May. Mid Thought Chris: Are you going on vacation? Are you going on vacation? You don't go on vacations. He's lying. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're saying. Midthought Eric: Yep, MidThought Eric is going to see MidThought Chris and ⁓ the boys, Brody and Bennett are going to the beach. Mid Thought Chris: Sounds like a blast, Well, you need to enjoy yourself, Brody. Have a great baseball season and ⁓ dude, it's good seeing you, buddy. Midthought Eric: Alright. Before he leaves, why don't you show him Ken back there. Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ Brody, have you met Ken yet? Have you met Ken? This is Ken. How cool is Ken? He has his own theme song. Midthought Eric: you What do you think that's pretty good isn't it this Ken good Mid Thought Chris: Ken is great. I love Ken. He stays right there. He hangs out. Sweet deal, bud. Brody, thanks for joining us. Midthought Eric: Mm. All right, buddy, thanks for coming on Maybe we'll have it. Maybe we'll have you on again. Is there anything else you want to say before you go? How awesome your dad is how great of a life you have how spoiled you are Mid Thought Chris: Yep, 100%. What a great uncle you have. Nice. Midthought Eric: Alright buddy, you gotta go to bed. Mid Thought Chris: Good to see you Brody. Hey producer Mike how's it going over You doing alright buddy? What's happening? Everything good behind the scenes? Producer Mike: Everything's great. Mid Thought Chris: Buddy, so good to see you. Welcome to the show. Producer Mike: Finger guns. pew pew pew pew. Midthought Eric: ⁓ we've got Doc Holliday over here. Mid Thought Chris: We did. And everything goes back to Tombstone. Producer Mike: haha Midthought Eric: You're a dandy if you do. Producer Mike: Dandy if I don't. Mid Thought Chris: You This is Eric, what is Kenry Mike? Were you going to say something? Dang it. I know. Shout out to you. I haven't gotten a text yet. Yeah. So good to see you. Oh, and. Producer Mike: ⁓ I gonna say that we have, we've had one listener this entire time and I want to say thank you for being here. Thank you for being here. We appreciate that. We appreciate that. ⁓ and he left. Why? Okay, it's cause I came out. Midthought Eric: ⁓ is it Chris's brother? Identify yourself ⁓ Right no, I'm not here we have a shy listener shy ⁓ Man just living the dream over here in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania Mid Thought Chris: We have a shot at this, dude. Eric, what's new, bud? How was your week? Did you guys find a car yet? Midthought Eric: Oof, wounds are fresh. Those wounds are still very fresh. No, because I'll tell you what, whatever we find, we're going to have to pay money for. We're going to it's going to be a loss. So I'm a little bit in denial right now. Yeah. Mid Thought Chris: I'm sorry bud, I figured you would be out shopping. Okay. I know what you're saying. Okay, okay. I mean, you could just throw them all in the extradition, right? Midthought Eric: Well, honestly, that's what we've been doing and that's ⁓ that would be my vote. Just run that thing into the ground. Mid Thought Chris: How's that? That'd your vote. I mean, it doesn't have a lot of miles, does it? Midthought Eric: Not compared to your car There's like 140 Which is that's not a lot for it's a 14 or so. It's like Mid Thought Chris: Shut up No not compared to my car at all Midthought Eric: What is that? 12, 12 years old. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, that's not a lot at all. Midthought Eric: But I've been saving it I've been not driving it But if it's if it's if that's what we need to do, I will drive it. Don't make me do it Don't make me do it Yeah, so yes our car has Mid Thought Chris: Don't make me do it. I'll do it. Midthought Eric: Yeah, it's been a weird week. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, this week has been weird. Midthought Eric: Yeah, dude, like car insurance is it's a sucky process. It's like it reminds me of ⁓ so car insurance reminds me of our government and also health insurance. No, well, just the opposite. Yes, exactly. But like how crappy it is, you know, and like our legal system, right? It's the best. It's it's the worst option, but it's the best. It's better than any other alternative. Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ yeah, yeah. How efficient it is? How efficient it is? Yeah. Yeah. Midthought Eric: Right? I think I heard somebody put it that way. Like what we what we have in the government is I think Ron Reagan said it. ⁓ What we have in the government is the worst. It's terrible, but it's the best we've ever done in history. insurance reminds me a lot of the legal process. It's like everybody wants to deflect and. Mid Thought Chris: Huh. Midthought Eric: drag out the process and just make things complicated and just it's a system man you're just in the like you're in the you're just running into a spider web and you're just trying to trying to do your thing you know ⁓ so yeah it's it's you know insurance all that stuff that's what we're doing Mid Thought Chris: Mm-hmm. Mm. Yeah. Yeah, I think I think the wild part about it is I just had to have ⁓ something done earlier this week and like the insurance price versus the you pay out-of-pocket price was astronomically in favor of you know, paying for this particular thing out of pocket, which is kind of wild like so like I think the question you're sitting there asking the questions. All right, so what's the point of this and I think it's for just those like Midthought Eric: ⁓ yeah. Mid Thought Chris: like that catastrophic kind of scenario where you're in a hospital for months on end. Midthought Eric: Yes Yes, and that's what's that that's what saps all the resources so everything else is just in their opinion It's the dollars trying to contribute to that Mid Thought Chris: That and this subsidizing ⁓ mammoth companies that are ⁓ just making the system super inflated. Midthought Eric: No, Chris, they're just trying to make ends meet and they're just trying to serve the customer. Okay. Mid Thought Chris: Insurance companies. Yeah, that's exactly what they're doing, bud. Midthought Eric: Also, here's the thing you have a lot of uninsured people whether it's healthcare or drivers So they have to write that into the the bottom line So yeah, I would say Yeah, it's they as soon as you try to use insurance They're like, ah, yeah, what are you coming to us for what are you talking about? Mid Thought Chris: Yeah. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Yeah, Why are you calling me? I don't call you, you call me. Midthought Eric: It's like, I I know call you you order ⁓ It's like okay, I thought that's why I was paying you like I thought that's what you were here for am I wrong ⁓ So not necessarily this case, but we've had some cases before that were quite minor ⁓ Both health insurance and car insurance that were like nuisances, you know ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: Mm-hmm. Yeah. I know what you're saying. Yeah. Midthought Eric: And all the time, every time they're like, oh, you don't want to you don't want to file a claim for that. That's going to it's going to make your rates go up. And it's like, it's like what? Yeah, like I thought that was the point of what we were doing. Like none of this was intentional. Like we didn't purposely flood the basement. But yeah, it's it sucks like the end. Of course, they just like. Mid Thought Chris: Like, what? Why am I paying you? Midthought Eric: They call at the worst times and they're like halfway like half of what they're saying is either inaccurate or it's What we call in the government OBE if you will You know I'm saying are you tracking? So yeah, it's like half the time I feel like we're doing their jobs for them So anyways, that's neither and then well, so I don't know about you, but we actually have a Mid Thought Chris: Mmm. I know what you're saying. I'm tracking. Yeah. Concur. Midthought Eric: We call I call it an intermediary like we have an agent right and they get us We go out and they get insurance Quotes and and then they get the actual insurance company So then something happens we go to them. They're like, okay. Well, I'll submit the request to the insurance company and then the insurance company contacts us directly right and then you're like Mid Thought Chris: Hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep. Midthought Eric: ⁓ Hey agent, I thought you were supposed to do all this for us. They're like no, they're going directly to a customer ⁓ So the the bottom line is the agents get the most the best rates right because it's it's a game It's a system so they're gonna get you the best rates but they're gonna make it complicated when you try to use it because You want you want the agent to be to do everything for you? I'd be like hey agent middleman. Come on. Do it do the job ⁓ in the meantime Mid Thought Chris: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Do you think? Midthought Eric: Insurance companies the one pulling all the strings. They're the ones with the you know, they're the ones cutting the check You know, so so you have a middleman who really is what I would call neutered ⁓ And can't really do anything right and says like why am I as well just go directly to them and Screw you middleman, but then they're gonna give us bigger higher prices higher premiums ⁓ So yeah, sucks. So anyways, that's that's my rant on insurance companies Mid Thought Chris: No. Mm-hmm. know what you're saying. Midthought Eric: The system is terrible, but it is the best we have available. Mid Thought Chris: Hmm. I know what you're Killer, buddy. Midthought Eric: ⁓ I have I have heard that Florida has really bad car insurance people who drive without car insurance and they jack up the rates for everybody else. Is that true? Mid Thought Chris: Our rates are pretty high. Yeah, I don't know I I can't say for sure if that is ⁓ You know the exact reason for or if that's just cop out that you know gets given like I don't know You never know on those things right like hey is this the is the reason that you're giving for why this rate is so high ⁓ You know why it is or is it something like? Let's say ⁓ maybe a place that we don't get you know any of our oil, but they're using a certain you know ⁓ Midthought Eric: Please repine on that. Mm-hmm. Mid Thought Chris: Scenario to go. ⁓ your rates are gonna your gas prices are gonna be up here now ⁓ I don't know Maybe just read between the lines on that one. But yeah lumping, ⁓ you know this part of the world what ⁓ You know lumping this part of the world into into you know, the the prices of you know somewhere half a Halfway across the globe and claiming it's for that reason even though we don't get any oil from Midthought Eric: What do mean by that? I don't understand. Como? Por que? Mm-hmm The market looks for any excuse any market Any market whether it's health care or its insurance or its oil They're gonna look for any excuse to jack the rates up and public sentiment is one of them Mid Thought Chris: Certain places over here. So yeah, you can go pound sand with that nonsense Yeah, 100%. Yeah, so it's yeah, so it's like, oh yeah, it's because you have all insured, uninsured. I don't know if that's the case or not. So like, I've seen this play out enough times to go, I don't know. Yeah, you're skeptical of my reasoning. Okay, okay. Come at me. Did we just have a fight? That is great. That is great. Midthought Eric: I am skeptical of your reasoning. No, no, I'm finishing your sentence. Do we just fight? That was an argument ⁓ Yeah, anyways Mid Thought Chris: Hey, think the Apshonuts just got back. That's great. Did you hear that? They just landed. I don't know. Lady, you went. Midthought Eric: Did they kiss the ground like Katy Perry? I'm so thankful to be back here. Those guys went further than anybody ever had. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, I think they landed in the water. I'm not sure. Right in water. And then think the Navy picked him up, Of course. Cutting edge. Probably CB's like Chief Will. This is great. Midthought Eric: Yes, they had a little pod that dropped in. Yep. Of course, yeah, the Navy is cutting edge. They were probably CBs. From our last episode Yeah, so those guys went all the way to the other end of the moon and and they're like, yeah, it looks like rocks Nothing real new it's that I was just waiting for them to like be like hey we saw these green figures We saw these aliens waving to us. That's where they are Nope, although if they did see that, you know, that would be classified, right? Mid Thought Chris: The dark side. That looks like rocks. Alright. There's water over there! There's water on that side! No, stop it Eric, I don't know what you're talking about. Midthought Eric: So they're like, yeah, it was dark. We're good. The dark side of the moon. I like that Pink Floyd reference. Mid Thought Chris: It was dark, we're good, nothing to see here. Meanwhile, they got shot at and like barely made it around. The entire movie happened over the last 10 days. Like we barely make it alive, we barely made it back. Midthought Eric: It was like Independence Day. They had to sign NDAs for the whole thing. You're now part of our covert operations. Everyone's like, yeah, well that was just such an easy thing. They're like, if you only knew. Although their toilets went out, so that was bad. Mid Thought Chris: If you only although they couldn't they couldn't take a crap anywhere. Yes ⁓ That is great that is that my friend Midthought Eric: Yeah, that's that. That is that. Where how many do we have on here? Where's our audience right now? Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ I think they're incognito. Anonymously. Yeah, we don't need to talk about that. It's just I think it's more for us. I think it's ⁓ Wait, what is that? Zero. What is it? Is that from us? Did we post that? Midthought Eric: They're on anonymously. Yeah, hey we have, this is for us. We're entertaining ourselves. Zero say they are coming. Zero. See where they are coming. That was you mid thought Chris. ⁓ no, that was mid thought crisis. They're mid. Nobody knows what we're saying. ⁓ Anyways, ⁓ let's get into it. Let's do some stuff. ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: I don't know what that is. No, don't know what they're... Let's do some stuff. All right. So last last week we started I think what is was one of my favorite segments. We had one of I think the funniest things. That's me. I think that's Ken. That's mid thought Mike. Producer Mike public chat. OK. That's OK. That's that's Ken. All right. Cool. That's producer Mike. That's what I said. Midthought Eric: That's me. That's Mitt.Mike. Producer Mike. Ken's behind you. Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ Anyway, last week we started ⁓ one of my favorite segments. I think we are done And it's ⁓ local like Facebook marketplace posts that we found hilarious and Mid thought Eric, I mean you can opine on this as well, but we had one video on here on there That was I think some of the funniest material that we've ever had Midthought Eric: You Mm-hmm. Yes. Mid Thought Chris: And I mean, we haven't had very much funny material personally, in my opinion, just a couple morons talking. But we found no, we found that sculpture ⁓ and which was quite possible. Yes, this right here is one of the no are real is what I'm saying. I'm not getting to I'm not getting to a point whatsoever. It's taken me forever to get there. ⁓ Midthought Eric: You Wait, are you talking about a video? What is it? You're saying a video? ⁓ yes. Was that a video? ⁓ the real yes yes yes yes yes yes I'm sorry I'm tracking I'm picking up what you're putting down Mid Thought Chris: Are you tracking now? Okay, cool. 10 hours later. But this sculpture, you know, we put up a short. ⁓ And it's really funny because producer Mike's been putting these putting these shorts up and they've been, you know, getting anywhere from, you know, 300 to 1000, you know, people, people looking at it. And that one got like 10 people. Midthought Eric: We are almost platinum. How many did that one get? Mid Thought Chris: That one got 10 views. like I have to think it got throttled for some reason, but I can't imagine why that would have gotten throttled. Producer Mike, can you put that up one more time? Midthought Eric: I think Moses did it. Yeah. He came down. Mid Thought Chris: You think Moses did it? you think it was do you think it was? He was like, how dare you mock me? We simply put that up. We simply put that up and and made some and we laughed about it. We didn't say anything weird. We weren't like 12 views. Producer Mike. Yeah, 12. Thank you, buddy. Midthought Eric: Mmm. Yeah, so if if you look at that it had it was asked it was listed for It was listed for $200 If you looked at that it was listed for $200 $250 And it had a number of reactions What's it what I always like is like the laughing emojis and all that stuff like you can you can always follow it down Mid Thought Chris: What did you say buddy is listed for $200 so you said. Yep. ⁓ it's great. So great. Yeah. Midthought Eric: based off that. ⁓ So yeah, that was a good, that was a good section. Hey, is that an old fashioned with clear ice? Mid Thought Chris: It was. This is an old fashioned way to clear ice. How did you know? Midthought Eric: Wow, that's your good too. ⁓ Well, I just know you. I know you mid-thought Chris. That is your IPA. ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: How did you know? You just know me. What is this other one? What's in here? No. Midthought Eric: It's not hard AF. There's a white. Mid Thought Chris: No, I was looking for that earlier. I couldn't find it. That is a Kona, actually, believe it or not. Midthought Eric: ⁓ yes. Is it a longboard one or the other one? Mid Thought Chris: Longboard one, I think. Yeah, I think so. All right, So yeah, that was one of my favorite segments. It was super fun to just, yeah, fill those things up. And Producer Mike, do you have any of those ready to go? Oh, there we go again. Yes. Let's talk about this. Let's talk about this again. $175 to $200 inspirational sculpture by Ron Deacon. Midthought Eric: Okay, I'm tracking. That was good. Again. Okay, now they're giving a range. It's in Chambersburg. That is a famous sculpture. Mid Thought Chris: Look at this description. Can you zoom in on that at all? Is that possible? I don't know. I don't know if that's possible. What does that say? Beautiful Rondiacani. The prodigal sculpture. That's what I want. And especially the angle that they took on it. They zoomed. They went up and they looked down on it and made it even worse. Midthought Eric: It's the prodigal. I just don't understand how they would think this is. Yes, that's what I'm going to go with. Yeah. Ron DiCione, if you are listening, please opine. ⁓ yeah. Mid Thought Chris: We'd love to have you on the show beautiful ronda. Iaconte the prodigal sculpture a meaningful faith inspired piece that captures the powerful moment of repentance grace and forgiveness in the prodigal son story Perfect for home decor church office or Easter display. know what I think it captures I think I think that points to the need for repentance grace and forgiveness. I'm not sure if it is capturing ⁓ Midthought Eric: Perfect for church. Maybe that's the missing link of the story. We know why this son wanted to run away. Mid Thought Chris: Hehehehehe Midthought Eric: I mean, I don't know why If he wanted to get out of there, that's probably why The head is fully down the face is in the robe Mid Thought Chris: Eric, that might be one of the funniest things you've ever said. Maybe he just... ⁓ gosh, that's worse. Look at that. Okay, that angle's better. ⁓ wait, go back, go back, go back. That angle's better. Midthought Eric: I don't know. Define better. What do you mean by better? That might be the worst one yet. Look at the height positioning. Mid Thought Chris: Still bad. No, it's still so bad. That's still so The angle. Yeah, it's so bad. Look, it goes from the top. it's in the bottom. You just keep scrolling now. Midthought Eric: You can buy that for $175 to $200. Hey, MidThought Chris, I think you need that in your collection behind you. That could go next to ⁓ Ken. I'm going to to Chambersburg tomorrow. On a Sunday. Yes. Explain yourself. That's one inch. Five inches. Producer Mike: This is producer Mike and let me tell you so you have this beautiful 36 inch angel, but what captivated me is is a little homie in the back Midthought Eric: Wow. Mid Thought Chris: What is that thing next to it? Midthought Eric: Yeah, it looks like a little Pete Davidson. Is that Pete Davidson or Eminem? Mid Thought Chris: He's got a beater on and a hat off to the side. What is that? Producer Mike: You have all these angels, angelic beings, then you have... little dude in the back. ⁓ Midthought Eric: $1 it says it's a real a real concrete concrete statue is not what does that say is not what? Mid Thought Chris: Uhhh... One time! Producer Mike: One...one dollar concrete. Mid Thought Chris: is not. Midthought Eric: Do we have any more? Do we have any more? we went definitely for one dollar. It's a family show, Eric. Producer Mike: Yeah, do tell. Midthought Eric: Hmm. Well, would you pay 150 for that? Apparently nobody wanted to. They marked it down. Producer Mike: You Mid Thought Chris: I would pay... I'd pay a hundred for that. How big is that thing? Is that on top of a garbage can? Producer Mike: Well, it's marked down to a hundred, so that's reasonable. That's on top of... Where's the measuring tape when you need it? Midthought Eric: We need a measuring ⁓ tape. Mid Thought Chris: I need a where's the measuring tape on this one. Is this like three inches tall. What is this. And then what is it. Is that a really well placed leaf. Midthought Eric: Oh, whoa, that's a 50 % discount. Yes. Producer Mike: In the description it says, plant stand, I used as an umbrella stand, great conversation piece. I think so. A stand for umbrella. Mid Thought Chris: I couldn't agree more. You shut. I think she's shoving an umbrella in his head. Midthought Eric: What is an umbrella stand? I mean, I've seen like umbrella buckets and stuff. Not a stand. They're confusing me with that one. Interesting. Mid-thought, mid-thought. ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ huh, I know what you're saying. So here we have, well, that's how it's pronounced. Mid Thought Chris: I didn't think it was spelled that way, but continue. Continue Midthought Eric: Here we have a Mr. Higgins the monkey's card shop with a ⁓ caveman looking figure with large teeth and it for whatever reason an Anaheim Angels cap on he's holding a deck of baseball cards and we have a Mid Thought Chris: Yeah? Producer Mike: Yeah Mid Thought Chris: Right? Midthought Eric: We have a chat, what is that called? Text box that says, remember the feeling of getting a pack of ball cards from the literally concessions to end. We are, ⁓ we are purveyors of helping to revive your inner child. Mid Thought Chris: As a matter of fact, I do, Mr. Higgins. Huh, this is great. Midthought Eric: And I just, I'm kind of curious as to why they went with that. ⁓ I would say they'd get in more trouble if they went with something else. ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: Is this like a poster? Is this a poster? Midthought Eric: ⁓ This was a picture on Facebook Marketplace. Mid Thought Chris: Huh, okay. So you can buy this picture. Midthought Eric: But it was like a link, you could click on it and go there. It's virtual. It's a virtual card shop. Mid Thought Chris: Huh. ⁓ okay. All right, well that's fun. Midthought Eric: So I don't know, should that be one of our things? OK, here is an antique phone. Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ dear. Hagerstown? Okay, okay. Midthought Eric: which looks more like a not anything phone that should have been thrown away a while ago but Mid Thought Chris: One of the cups is broken. looks like all the cups are broken. Midthought Eric: I don't know what you're supposed to do with that. I mean, I guess... Do you think it would still work? Mid Thought Chris: What are you? It's... Producer Mike: put it put it on a you could put it on Chris's a bookshelf Mid Thought Chris: It doesn't even. I mean, right now, mean, why not? Let's do it. Mid Thought Chris: No, I think I think I'm I think I'm I think I'm smoking for by the prodigal son All right Producer Mike: Yes, yes. We're just holding off for that $75 to go down. We're gonna pull the trigger Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, exactly. You pull the trigger. All right, producer Mike. Midthought Eric: Yep, that's an antique. All right next one producer Mike. Oh Here we go here you get a rip Honda Odyssey 2021 Honda Odyssey that looks like a Kia Mid Thought Chris: That certainly looks like a Honda Odyssey, especially... Looks strangely like a Kia. ⁓ but it's Maryland inspected. It's certified pre-owned van and runs like new. Kia, Honda, same, same deal. It's yours. All right. That's a steal. Midthought Eric: Same thing. Hey, potato potato. If you can just get past that one small discrepancy, it's yours. 34,000 for that one. It's a good Honda. Ooh. Who peed? Mid Thought Chris: Producer Mike, let's see the next one. Oh, jeez. This was my gasoline. It's free. Hey, you're. Producer Mike: Are we sure? That's gasoline. Midthought Eric: It's free! Producer Mike: Tyler's out here peeing in jugs and selling it for free. Midthought Eric: That's like the piss jugs. Mid Thought Chris: And you're losing money if you don't take that right now. Free gasoline. Producer Mike: Absolutely. He's like, come and come and get my gasoline. Midthought Eric: Who what would possess Tyler? What would possess Tyler to post this? Like, I'm really confused right now. Mid Thought Chris: I don't know why you wouldn't, like you could put it somewhere, like just get a funnel and put it in a lawnmower or a car or a four wheeler. Midthought Eric: Is it gasoline more clear than that? Like that's not what gasoline looks like, right? That's yellow. Gasoline is not yellow. Mid Thought Chris: I don't freaking know. This one's confused. This is confusing. This one's just very confusing. Producer Mike: So update the post no longer exists and this one no longer exists. I just want to check. ⁓ Someone must have taken the gas I would imagine. But also I do remember the description said, it seems like a waste to not give it away. Like it's like literally, yeah, that's true. Mid Thought Chris: Which one? This one? Midthought Eric: to give it away. Mid Thought Chris: What happened? reported Tyler. Midthought Eric: That's... Well, it is $4 a gallon now, so that's like 150 right there And listen wherever Tyler is located by time you drive there to get the free gasoline you've probably spent 150 in gas To the yellow glass Mid Thought Chris: No kidding Tyler! Producer Mike: That's a buck fifty for a gallon. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Yeah, 100%. Producer Mike: easily. The gas you use to get to his house. You now need the gas to put in the car to get back. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah. Yeah. 100 % that probably is going to use to lure you in and murder you, but okay. Yeah. Or douse you in gasoline and let you on fire. What? Every time, every time. Yeah. There's laughing. You're like the surprise face. ⁓ He's like. Producer Mike: Probably more than likely or douse you in gasoline Yeah, that's that happens every day let's be honest Midthought Eric: glad you responded to my post. It's funny. Look at the reactions. There's a laughing emoji and then somebody liked it. Somebody just put the wow face. Producer Mike: There's a shock. Maybe it's the guy that got the gas that's shocked. Mid Thought Chris: It's so good. Midthought Eric: I only spent, only got two, I only burned through two gallons of gas to get this free gas. Mid Thought Chris: to get this two ounces of gas. Love it. What we got next? These are fun. Oh, this was mine. Look at that price. That's a $450 for a pair of KFC limited edition Crocs. 400. Midthought Eric: Yeah, that's good. That's good. KFC. Mid Thought Chris: I think that's a little chicken nugget. Look at it. Producer Mike: You Midthought Eric: It looks like somebody put paper mache over top and caught it a day. Well, I wish we could see what the comments say. I want to know what the comments say. There are eight comments. Mid Thought Chris: $450. Hey Jose, is this still available? I know. Midthought Eric: That's crazy. Did the Colonel Sanders make those? It's finger-looking good! Producer Mike: Your wish. ⁓ wait. Mid Thought Chris: This is so good. Did the Colonel make those himself? Did they take like, I don't know. All right, next $450 for KFC limited edition Crocs. That is wild. Midthought Eric: Huh, yeah, I bet they're still there, aren't they? Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ what is this? I saw this. I saw this. I saw this and I had to put it on here. This, what is happening? This is... Oi. Good afternoon, Oi, and tomorrow we have clean ranch chickens for your stew can. What is happening? Midthought Eric: Okay, first of all, you need to read out loud the description. Mid Thought Chris: This looks like stale rotten chicken that's put in broth. What it seriously like is that like a is it what am I just ignorant is it am I just ignorant to like different types of food is that a certain okay producer Mike is always a type of food. Am I just missing out. Midthought Eric: You Yes. That is a full chicken leg. And you have to message the seller for price. Mid Thought Chris: Matt, she's seller for price you're right. Producer Mike: says yes, oi is the Korean word for cucumber and refers to a popular category of Korean food. That is not it. Thank you AI. Midthought Eric: That is not a cucumber. Mid Thought Chris: Hey, hey, do we see a do we see ⁓ anybody else see a cucumber on there? I don't see a cucumber. Midthought Eric: No, but the sausage piece in the middle looks like something else. Producer Mike: I think that's... ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: That's a that is not you can that is not sausage in the middle. ⁓ you're right, though. I think I think that's a wing. Look at the name. Midthought Eric: What kind of Facebook group are you a part of that would show this? Producer Mike: This is Florida. This is Florida local. Let's be honest. Midthought Eric: That is gross. Producer Mike: La chaparita! Probably either that or it's outside out of their house Midthought Eric: That chicken leg, I mean, what is that gash across it? Mid Thought Chris: It looks stale. Next! Something wrong? Yes, something is very wrong. Producer Mike: Something wrong. Midthought Eric: Something wrong with that. That is a cucumber. Oh, $2,000. Bruno. Mid Thought Chris: Oh, this one was good too. Carousel Horse. $2,000. Selling, I'm sorry, I'm looking underneath my camera like a moron. Selling solid wood hand card replica Carousel Horse. Mid Thought Chris: It's a replica, but it's not from a real carousel. But, but Bruno thinks that this is worth $2,000. Midthought Eric: But it's hand carved. carved that from hand. Producer Mike: I mean, that's pretty good, but... 2000? Mid Thought Chris: That's pretty good for a carousel. What are we using this for? Give me $100. $50! What are we using this for? I mean, I can put it right over here. What do you think? Right over here. I do in my backyard, Eric. Midthought Eric: I'll give you a hundred. Producer Mike: $50 Midthought Eric: Wow. I who has a carousel that they need a horse for like that? It's like, I'm missing one. If I just had one hand-carved replica, it would complete my whole carousel. Jose Bruno. Come on, we need that. Mid Thought Chris: How did you know? Bruno. Hey Eric, what was your favorite? Which one? Midthought Eric: Definitely the cucumber. Oi. Mid Thought Chris: Definitely. What about the cat one? The cat one was pretty great. Can you go back to the cat one? Producer Mike? That was great. If you're just joining us, we've been looking at different Facebook marketplace posts that make us laugh. What is happening? That is a teapot, ladies and gentlemen. Believe it or not. So great. So many questions about all these, but yeah, Eric. Midthought Eric: OI was the best. By far. So many of them. so many. We have so many questions. That's nuts. Yeah. Mid Thought Chris: That is fun. That is great. Hey, you got any news for us? What do you got? Midthought Eric: Little bit of news, whole lot of nonsense. always have. ⁓ somebody commented something. We have a listener. Mid Thought Chris: Let's do it. Always say, looks like a screaming llama. We have a listener and he might be related. What's up, buddy? How are you? Good to see you. Which one looks like a screaming llama? Midthought Eric: We'll take whatever we can get. Jay got us off the ground. We still owe her money. Mid Thought Chris: He got us off the ground. He really did. We still do owe him money. Midthought Eric: We need a non-sponsoring sponsor. An actual sponsoring sponsor. Yes. Yes. From every dollar we make, he gets like 30 cents. Mid Thought Chris: We do. Producer Mike, what's that? He does. I think. Producer Mike: he get royalties? Mid Thought Chris: And then producer Mike, get the other 70. So Eric and I are just consistently negative. So good. We do. This is great. So fun. A little bit of news, a lot of nonsense. So this guy basically ran a underage from what I can gather an underage prostitution ring from the high school from his high school. Mid Thought Chris: Allegedly. Huh. Midthought Eric: ⁓ A Pennsylvania high school senior of hundreds of felony charges after authorities reportedly accused him of operating a large-scale criminal network Involving sextortion and catfishing. There's a show on MTV about that ⁓ catfishing ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: He's an 18 year old dude. Huh. Hey, he's 18. That means he, ⁓ That's it. Midthought Eric: This guy, ⁓ yeah, 300 felonies, trafficking of minors, sexual extortion, unwillful contact with minors, distribution of child sexual abuse material. Crap, we're going to get an explicit on this one, aren't we? ⁓ We did with just dodo birds. ⁓ Anyways, while we're going for it, I really like those tit birds and boobs. Mid Thought Chris: I think you are, yep. We did. They weren't just dodo birds, my friend. The blue-footed booby, I think is what you're referring to. There it is! ⁓ Midthought Eric: Well, the dick sizzle was the best, the best bird. Okay. He used TikTok and Snapchat to lure victims into communicating with him. ⁓ This was all based from the high school. Yeah. Crazy stuff. Crazy stuff. Mid Thought Chris: I think it's, Erica, I think it's time to go hunting. Midthought Eric: ⁓ hold on, go up a little bit. Here we have 30 underage boys. and at least 21 victims. So wait, was it girls or boys or both? Mid Thought Chris: ⁓ He was able to... Midthought Eric: boys. He was able to deceive, coerce juvenile males into sending explicit images and videos of themselves to girls. So yeah, I don't know what the heck he did, but that's crazy stuff from a high school. Producer Mike: you Mid Thought Chris: It is, I think it's time to go hunting. ⁓ As far as I'm concerned, that's an adult and that is an adult that needs to go into a... Midthought Eric: I think that, ⁓ You would think that that would be a... They'd make a show about that on Netflix, a documentary. Mid Thought Chris: I think somebody needs to go directly into a woodchipper. Midthought Eric: ⁓ mid thought Chris you're just going you're going right to the point Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, I got that at that point. At that point, you're over 18 and you are luring in minors to do. He is a no, I'm saying that's what I'm saying. He's 18, 18. He is 18 or over. That is considered an adult. That individual should be in a wood chipper. Midthought Eric: You would make a good district attorney. He's not over 18, he is 18. Producer Mike: 18 or over. Midthought Eric: I know I They're crazy. Right in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA. Mid Thought Chris: as nuts. ⁓ Yeah, wood chipper. Let's go. Time to go hunting. Midthought Eric: Yeah, I just thought of like all the crazy stuff people did as seniors. ⁓ That's just like, wow. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah. Midthought Eric: Three, like, he said 36 males. Who knows how many female victims there were, but 300 felony counts. I mean, that is insane. Mid Thought Chris: That's nuts, That is nuts. Well, that's a different vibe. Midthought Eric: Yeah, that's a lot. Yeah, I thought that was just yeah, that was crazy. You never know what you're going to get out of a whole lot of new or whole lot of nonsense. I mean, you could be looking for a Honda Odyssey and get a Kia minivan. Mid Thought Chris: You never know what you're gonna get. Whole lot of nonsense. That was so good. ⁓ buddy. Midthought Eric: What else do we have? Mid Thought Chris: What else we got producer Mike? The audience is waiting. Jay's waiting on you. Did we only give you one story bud? I don't remember. Midthought Eric: The audience is waiting. Jay wants a carousel horse. He wants you to get that for him. It's only $2,000. Mid Thought Chris: No, he's saying that the, ⁓ that that, ⁓ okay, you know? Midthought Eric: I know. I know, but that would be good if you could get that for him. Then we've settled our debts. Mid Thought Chris: Yeah, nothing left. ⁓ sweet. We've settled our debts. Carousel horse and we're even. The one story. Sweet man. Well, this was fun. Only one story. no, we're getting dinked. There it is. Midthought Eric: We give you the carousel horse. Heheheheh. Hmm. Only one story. Did you send any stories, Mid-Thought Chris? ⁓ You can't be doing that. We're not doing that. Mid Thought Chris: No, think I was stoked to see the astronauts get back to earth and I think that was my only story. yeah. Hey man, this has been fun. What do you got? What do you got? ⁓ Midthought Eric: No There's one more mid thought mid thought Mike or producer Mike I did send you one about the foul orders foul odors odors foul odors If you remember that if you can pull that up real quick If not, that's okay ⁓ I will summarize it so there have been ⁓ lots of ⁓ there it is. There it is Mid Thought Chris: Ooh. Odors. Hehe. Midthought Eric: This one's a little dated. This happened back in March. I guess not that old. ⁓ March 27th. ⁓ Five East Coast airports had to be ⁓ shut down, including BWI here in Baltimore, Maryland. Baltimore. Baltimore, Maryland. ⁓ well, hold on. The bar, the bay is clean to swim in if anybody wants to swim in the Inter Harbor Bay. ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: I'll allow it. What the heck? I'm shocked. I'm shocked. Hehehehehe Midthought Eric: But yeah, strong odors forced ground stops at BWI Airport and four other ones. So this was at BWI Airport. There were four other East Coast airports. There was a strong smell ⁓ that they found in Virginia, according to the FAA. yeah, the air traffic control facilities were completely evacuated. ⁓ There were overheated circuit boards. Mid Thought Chris: Huh. Midthought Eric: and ⁓ the transportation, the secretary of transportation was like, we're not taking any chances. This could be anything. It could be a chemical. It could be, it could be anything. ⁓ So anyways, ⁓ scroll down there, producer Mike, what was the culprit? What do you think? What do you think the culprit was? Keep going. Keep going. We got to get to the culprit. Keep going. All right. Mid Thought Chris: No chances. sewer. That guy. That guy. He did it. Midthought Eric: The lines stretched out the door and wrapped around the sidewalk. This is before TSA was shut down. Well, actually, yeah, it was the same time. But anyways, yeah, spring break, TSA shut down. They had to arrive at the airport four hours early. There was all this crazy stuff. ⁓ Was it sewer? Mid Thought Chris: Okay, okay. She's the reason. Was it her? Midthought Eric: What was it? Mid Thought Chris: She did it. ⁓ that foot, that does it. Midthought Eric: I forget anyways ⁓ That was ⁓ well it was away right there that was cucumber who come back That was away, ⁓ What is with that foot Producer Mike: You Mid Thought Chris: Wait... Isn't it a plastic bag? Producer Mike: Yum. Midthought Eric: What's the way hold on what's it say it says Neuropathy has been linked to this common drink daily. ⁓ do you drink it? Now you shouldn't click on that Is that what neuropathy is where you have like is that one neuropathy is there where you have like your whole foot sliced open? And I think that's what that was Producer Mike: That's one way to wrap your ankle. What does that have to do with drinking? Mid Thought Chris: Dude, some of these things on the bottom of these pages are wild. Producer Mike, scroll down a little bit. These ads on the bottom of these pages are all frickin' nuts. Man, no. Midthought Eric: Man charged in Middle River killings of woman and her grandmother and he accepted a plea deal And then we have a Baltimore man arrested for the death of a millionaire firing shots at police during a traffic stop He looks like he just woke up Hey, what are we doing here? ⁓ Mid Thought Chris: Why paying off my mortgage? Why, paying off my mortgage? You just tried to kill somebody, Producer Mike: Nope. I ain't sure nobody. Midthought Eric: No, I for I show I I This has been happening since Sunday afternoon Mid Thought Chris: Alright, how did it happen? Oh conversation, what do we got? This seems to be the era of strong odor at airports and on airplanes. Seems like there have been numerous strong odor incidents recently. Democrats care more about illegal aliens than US citizens. That's for sure. They just want more temp votes no matter what the cost. What the? Midthought Eric: You What's the next one say? ⁓ not- Even if it makes a strong odor.
