In today’s story, we talk all about Randall Lee Smith, otherwise known as “Lyin’ Randall.” Like his name suggests, Randall had a knack for telling wild and obviously untrue stories and spent many years being written off as odd, but mostly harmless. He had one true passion (other than lying): hiking the Appalachian Trail that ran behind his home. But in 1981, Randall committed a heinous crime.
