- 0:51Speaker 2: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:55Speaker 2: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:58Speaker 2: Trey Trinholm. Coming up on today's show, it's going to
- 1:02Speaker 2: be a banger. We're starting the week hot. Coming up today,
- 1:09Speaker 2: death over enchiladas. Speaking of hot. Also, are we going
- 1:15Speaker 2: to get days of woke thunder? But first up, we
- 1:19Speaker 2: are starting inside the treehouse today with fanning the flames
- 1:24Speaker 2: of the nerd slash gaming community. I had no idea
- 1:28Speaker 2: the hornet's nest that I had stirred up last week
- 1:33Speaker 2: when I said that Mortal Kombat 2 was worse than
- 1:36Speaker 2: it looked. Our comment section on social media was on
- 1:43Speaker 2: fire with pissed off gaming movie nerd fans saying it
- 1:49Speaker 2: wasn't that bad, to which I say, if your defense
- 1:52Speaker 2: of the film is it wasn't that bad, That's not
- 1:56Speaker 2: a good starting point, but it was really interesting to
- 1:58Speaker 2: see how many people got pissed off by me simply
- 2:02Speaker 2: saying Mortal Kombat 2 was not good. And Trey, did
- 2:11Speaker 2: you take it upon yourself to watch it?
- 2:14Speaker 1: I did.
- 2:15Speaker 2: What did you think?
- 2:18Speaker 1: I liked it.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't believe you.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Now I think you're just pandering to the comments section.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So now this pains me to say Carl Urban sucked
- 2:29Speaker 1: in it. Yes. But now my, my threshold for quality
- 2:38Speaker 1: in a mortal combat movie is fairly low, but if
- 2:45Speaker 1: you take Carl, like, first of all, It should be
- 2:51Speaker 1: illegal to have any movie where Carl Urban does not say, okay,
- 2:58Speaker 1: he is the Shakespeare of.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You know what? You're right. After his turn as Billy
- 3:04Speaker 2: Butcher in the boys, seeing Carl Urban and not hearing
- 3:08Speaker 2: him drop the C bomb feels like a missed opportunity.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It is, especially in a movie that's already got a
- 3:14Speaker 2: hard R there's F bombs everywhere. one good C-bomb would
- 3:19Speaker 2: have gone a long way in that movie.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It would have. I thought he was a poor, just
- 3:24Speaker 1: poor casting, really. And maybe he's just aged. They needed him.
- 3:30Speaker 1: To me, Johnny Cage probably needed to be a little
- 3:32Speaker 1: bit younger. And it was just, he was a little
- 3:37Speaker 1: too gimmicky with him. But all in all, like I said,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm not expecting... high-quality dialogue or anything in a Mortal
- 3:48Speaker 1: Kombat movie. I thought the action was good. They killed
- 3:51Speaker 1: off people I wasn't expecting them to kill off. So yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I liked it for what it was.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Right. Maybe that was my problem going into it, is
- 4:02Speaker 2: because of how much I enjoyed the previous Mortal Kombat movie,
- 4:07Speaker 2: that one raised my expectations a little bit, and Mortal
- 4:11Speaker 2: Kombat 2 fell short of them. I'm with you. I
- 4:14Speaker 2: love Carl Urban. I think he's a fantastic actor in
- 4:17Speaker 2: this role. It just didn't work. I don't know if
- 4:19Speaker 2: it was necessarily his fault or if that's the fault
- 4:23Speaker 2: of the director, whoever that was. But I even told
- 4:27Speaker 2: one of our very good listeners, Jason, who had asked
- 4:30Speaker 2: me and sent me a direct message. He was asking
- 4:33Speaker 2: what about it really just seemed to bother me about
- 4:35Speaker 2: the movie. And I was like, one of the things
- 4:37Speaker 2: I took an issue with was.
- 4:40Speaker 1: How.
- 4:42Speaker 2: how unconvincing Carl Urban was as Johnny Cage. Like there
- 4:47Speaker 2: were parts of the, you know, the fight sequences where
- 4:50Speaker 2: it's clearly Carl Urban because it doesn't look convincing doing it.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Like it looks like it's the first time he's ever
- 4:56Speaker 2: blocked a punch, which I know is not necessarily his
- 4:59Speaker 2: fault because he's been plenty convincing in other roles. So
- 5:03Speaker 2: I don't know why this one would be any different.
- 5:06Speaker 2: So that to me is a product when I'm watching
- 5:08Speaker 2: and I'm thinking like, That's not even very convincing that
- 5:11Speaker 2: he's able to block a punch. That's a problem.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So he's fine in the boys where he's fighting more
- 5:22Speaker 1: of just brawling, punching. But as far as martial arts go,
- 5:26Speaker 1: he wasn't convincing. Yeah, you could see times where it
- 5:29Speaker 1: was him and his movement is like a guy in
- 5:33Speaker 1: his 50s.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to move like that. Guess what? It's
- 5:39Speaker 2: hard to get out of bed, let alone doing a
- 5:43Speaker 2: standing front flip.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So that was probably the one part I found somewhat disappointing.
- 5:50Speaker 1: The rest of it, like I said, I thought it
- 5:53Speaker 1: was pretty solid. Again, for a Mortal Kombat movie.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And keeping in mind, yeah, I'm not expecting Shakespeare out
- 6:04Speaker 2: of this film. I just had higher expectations, and I
- 6:07Speaker 2: thought some of the writing... some of the writing had
- 6:09Speaker 2: some good self-aware moments, but the movie didn't feel completely
- 6:13Speaker 2: self-aware as it should have been. There were times where
- 6:15Speaker 2: it felt stuck in between trying to be, you know,
- 6:18Speaker 2: like this Mortal Kombat movie versus a self-aware tongue in
- 6:21Speaker 2: cheek aspect of a, you know, of an adaptation of
- 6:26Speaker 2: a video game. Um, well, some of the acting I
- 6:30Speaker 2: thought was just so bad. Even I couldn't get past.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I was like, Jesus, this person's talking. I, To me,
- 6:39Speaker 1: all the bad parts really centered around Carl Urban and
- 6:43Speaker 1: Johnny Cage. Everything else I thought was... Yeah, there was
- 6:49Speaker 1: some stiff acting.
- 6:53Speaker 2: The stiffest acting, unironically, was the guy with the robot arms.
- 7:01Speaker 2: But I.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So that character to me has always been... stiff i
- 7:06Speaker 1: mean the military guy that didn't bother me um i just.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Thought it was fascinating how you know you said that
- 7:15Speaker 2: you thought it looked really really awful and i said
- 7:17Speaker 2: that it looks work that it was worse than it
- 7:19Speaker 2: looked and that got the comment section all fired up um.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah they they no one was happy with you
- 7:27Speaker 1: really you had you had a one or two people
- 7:29Speaker 1: that that agreed with you other than that it was
- 7:32Speaker 1: a pretty sound uh.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I took a shellacking in the comments section. I just
- 7:37Speaker 2: needed someone else to come up and finish me. But see,
- 7:43Speaker 2: now a lot of those people don't know how big
- 7:44Speaker 2: of a deal, because those are just online people, right?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Not all of them are listeners. So those people that
- 7:51Speaker 2: are our listeners know that for me to say a
- 7:53Speaker 2: movie was genuinely bad, it takes a lot, right? Like
- 7:58Speaker 2: I can call a movie bad and say it's bad,
- 8:00Speaker 2: but I can still say I liked it and here
- 8:03Speaker 2: are the reasons why. This one was just, to me,
- 8:06Speaker 2: it was just, it was so bad that it wasn't
- 8:10Speaker 2: redeemable enough.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It just goes to show you how bad your taste
- 8:13Speaker 1: in movies is.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I disagree. Now, like Jason had mentioned, Jason, he and
- 8:21Speaker 2: I exchanged a couple of messages on Instagram, and he
- 8:24Speaker 2: asked me, he was like, what part of the movie,
- 8:25Speaker 2: you know, turned you off personally? And I told him,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I was like, the fight stuff with Carl Urban was
- 8:30Speaker 2: silly looking. Some of the writing stuff, I told you
- 8:33Speaker 2: kind of already. Um, and he actually brought up a
- 8:36Speaker 2: good point. Uh, Jason said, I wasn't too keen on him.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Carl urban being Johnny cage. I personally thought the Ms
- 8:43Speaker 2: would be a good fit for the role.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I agree.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I think that would have been a more interesting casting choice, uh,
- 8:50Speaker 2: for Johnny cage in this movie. Definitely would have been
- 8:55Speaker 2: a lot more convincing with the fighting.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I just am not that familiar with the Ms. I
- 9:01Speaker 1: know he's a wrestler. Um, I think there definitely could have, there,
- 9:05Speaker 1: there were better choices.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Um, and it started to me, but the casting of
- 9:13Speaker 2: Carl Urban got you and me more interested in the
- 9:15Speaker 2: movie than I think I would have been otherwise. I
- 9:17Speaker 2: still would have seen it, but I had a heightened
- 9:19Speaker 2: interest because it was, uh, Carl Urban.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah. And Carl Urban 10 years ago, probably it's a better,
- 9:30Speaker 1: it's a different choice. Um, but yeah, I, he was
- 9:34Speaker 1: by far and away the worst part of the movie
- 9:36Speaker 1: and it, and it kills me to say that, but, uh,
- 9:41Speaker 1: it was, I understand where he was kind of over
- 9:45Speaker 1: the top with the role. Yeah. But it was to
- 9:52Speaker 1: me that the Johnny Cage character, yeah, it has to
- 9:55Speaker 1: be over the top, but also needs to actually fight.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I mean, I go back 25, 30 years ago, that
- 10:03Speaker 1: is a Jean-Claude Van Damme role to a T.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Especially with the splits. I mean, I'm pretty sure that
- 10:11Speaker 2: that's where they got Johnny Cage's move was from Bloodsport.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Same way that they think that Raiden's character from Mortal
- 10:18Speaker 2: Kombat was directly lifted from Bloodsport. Big Trouble in Little China,
- 10:21Speaker 2: which we all think there's no question in that. So
- 10:26Speaker 2: now we go from Mortal Kombat 2 news into other
- 10:29Speaker 2: sequel news that popped over the weekend. And that was
- 10:33Speaker 2: the announcement on social media from Tom Cruise and Anne
- 10:37Speaker 2: Hathaway about Days of Thunder 2.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I think it's on. Annie?
- 10:44Speaker 2: Annie.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It looks on to me.
- 10:47Speaker 2: You think? It looks on. Trying to do a camera.
- 10:55Speaker 2: They back away from the camera and they show NASCAR
- 11:01Speaker 2: stock car, Ace of Thunder, summer 2028.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Now what? Now what?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Let's make the movie, now what? I'm going to have
- 11:10Speaker 2: this baby and then we're going to make this movie.
- 11:12Speaker 1: That's a good idea.
- 11:12Speaker 2: You have the baby, then we'll go make the movie.
- 11:15Speaker 2: We're coming out summer of 2028. Don't be late. Are
- 11:21Speaker 2: you sure you want to go with that?
- 11:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm trying.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Whatever happens.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I think it's on. Annie?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Annie.
- 11:32Speaker 1: So, look, Sean. Number one, the thing that surprised me
- 11:37Speaker 1: about that more than anything else, that is the oldest
- 11:40Speaker 1: I've ever seen Tom Cruise look. Yep. I have read,
- 11:47Speaker 1: so I love Days of Thunder. Mm-hmm. It is just
- 11:53Speaker 1: in that Tom Cruise wheelhouse of late 80s fantastic movies
- 11:59Speaker 1: for me.
- 12:00Speaker 2: The original came out 1990. Okay.
- 12:03Speaker 1: But yeah. And after what he did with Maverick, Top
- 12:11Speaker 1: Gun Maverick, I'm all for it. Now, I have seen
- 12:16Speaker 1: things about their calling it like, Days of Woke Thunder
- 12:21Speaker 1: or something like that, which I don't know. I didn't
- 12:27Speaker 1: read anything about it, so I'm at a loss for it.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You want the context for Days of Woke Thunder?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Sure.
- 12:39Speaker 2: The controversy stems from Days of Thunder 1 co-star Randy Quaid.
- 12:48Speaker 2: He says the selection of Anne Hathaway in the sequel
- 12:53Speaker 2: to Days of Thunder is a huge mistake. It's because
- 12:58Speaker 2: she's a leftist woke person and that what they should
- 13:02Speaker 2: have done was had Nicole Kidman back in the film
- 13:06Speaker 2: opposite Tom Cruise. So one of his posts on.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Randy Quaid is still alive.
- 13:15Speaker 2: He is. He is still. He's still tweeting. He got
- 13:20Speaker 2: on social media and reposted, you know, Tom and Anne
- 13:23Speaker 2: Hathaway's video the same way that you just heard us
- 13:26Speaker 2: do right then. And he says, I believe the first
- 13:31Speaker 2: post was, we need Nicole back. Don't be a pussy,
- 13:35Speaker 2: Tom Cruise. You need the original girl. It's not personal.
- 13:39Speaker 2: It's film. It's not personal. It's filmmaking. Anne isn't sexy. because,
- 13:47Speaker 2: and if you haven't noticed, she's pregnant. He doubled down
- 13:51Speaker 2: on that by saying, Anne Hathaway is a leftist, woke,
- 13:54Speaker 2: horrible choice for Days of Thunder, NASCAR audience who are MAGA.
- 13:58Speaker 2: The sexy older chick for Tom in this film needs
- 14:01Speaker 2: to be Nicole. That's the casting that would sell the idea.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It's interesting because when we made the first one, there
- 14:07Speaker 2: was also a rush to get it out. Editors slept
- 14:10Speaker 2: in the cutting room on shifts. This is a weird thing,
- 14:13Speaker 2: like they want it to come out and tank. So
- 14:19Speaker 2: Randy Quaid has, has made the days of thunder to
- 14:22Speaker 2: announcement into a political firestorm. So we're not, I don't
- 14:26Speaker 2: know necessarily a firestorm, but in his mind, it's a firestorm.
- 14:30Speaker 2: He basically just says, you know, you've got Anne Hathaway
- 14:32Speaker 2: who is a super liberal and it seems silly to
- 14:35Speaker 2: cast a super liberal liberal in a film that is
- 14:38Speaker 2: going to be cared about mostly by conservatives who love NASCAR.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Oh, I think that's, I mean, first of all, Randy
- 14:47Speaker 1: Quaid lost his mind. How long ago?
- 14:51Speaker 2: 15 years, probably.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I mean, I know we were on the radio at
- 14:56Speaker 1: the time. I don't remember.
- 14:57Speaker 2: He was releasing videos of him screwing his wife, wearing
- 15:01Speaker 2: like horse masks and stuff. I mean, it was just,
- 15:03Speaker 2: it was a really weird stuff.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Well, then he, I mean, he went on some rants on,
- 15:07Speaker 1: and then he like escaped to Canada or I don't remember.
- 15:11Speaker 1: It was, but he was just bizarre.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Going through some of his recent posts, he's now very anti-Canada.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Anne Hathaway's on a roll right now, so I totally
- 15:25Speaker 1: understand why they cast her.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And calling her not sexy because she's pregnant, it's like, dude. Obviously,
- 15:38Speaker 2: he doesn't care what he says and whether or not
- 15:39Speaker 2: he offends somebody, but it's like, first of all, Anne
- 15:44Speaker 2: Hathaway versus Nicole Kidman, any day of the week, it's
- 15:49Speaker 2: Anne Hathaway. I don't care what time frame, what era,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I will die on the Anne Hathaway hill.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I would take Nicole Kidman back then, but number one, huh?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Sure, mm-hmm.
- 16:11Speaker 1: But number one, I don't think Nicole Kidman and Tom
- 16:13Speaker 1: Cruise have spoken since they divorced. So to think that
- 16:17Speaker 1: they're going to do a movie together is laughable.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It really is ridiculous. Like for Randy Quaid to say
- 16:24Speaker 2: in one sentence, it's not personal, it's filmmaking. And then
- 16:27Speaker 2: in the very next sentence say, Annie isn't sexy. It's like, well,
- 16:31Speaker 2: that's a very personal thing that you're saying. It's a
- 16:34Speaker 2: personal opinion and it's a personal thing against her. And
- 16:38Speaker 2: it ultimately doesn't matter because in filmmaking, you do have
- 16:40Speaker 2: to have a good working relationship with someone. And some
- 16:43Speaker 2: people may not work good with their ex-wives.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Especially when you haven't spoken in over 20 years.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And I don't think Anne Hathaway is sexy per se.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I think she's really, I think she's beautiful. But I
- 16:58Speaker 1: have faith in Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise has got to
- 17:02Speaker 1: know he's coming to the end of his run as
- 17:04Speaker 1: an action star. So, This movie makes perfect sense to me.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Everything he has done as of late has been gold,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so I have no reason to think that they won't
- 17:18Speaker 1: make this one great. I'm with you.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Aside from... I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I don't think you need to be a NASCAR fan
- 17:26Speaker 1: in order to want to see Days of Thunder 2.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I wasn't a NASCAR fan when Days of Thunder came out,
- 17:32Speaker 1: nor did it even make me a NASCAR fan at
- 17:34Speaker 1: the time, but... So, yeah, I think that's also stupid.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I'm right there with you. So Tom Cruise is responsible
- 17:44Speaker 2: for keeping me in a refrigerator box for like two
- 17:47Speaker 2: years of my childhood. One, because of Top Gun, I
- 17:51Speaker 2: would get in that refrigerator box and pretend I was
- 17:54Speaker 2: in an F-14 Tomcat. And then when Days of Thunder
- 17:56Speaker 2: came out, I got to pretend I was cold trickle
- 18:00Speaker 2: going around the track, going toe to toe with Rowdy.
- 18:03Speaker 2: or uh the guy from the princess bride carrie elwes
- 18:07Speaker 2: uh i loved days of thunder and like you trey
- 18:11Speaker 2: it did not turn me into a nascar fan but
- 18:14Speaker 2: i loved that movie so when i saw the announcement
- 18:16Speaker 2: over the weekend i actually got chills i couldn't believe
- 18:19Speaker 2: it was like i got chills for a nascar thing
- 18:21Speaker 2: that i'm not even i don't watch races or anything
- 18:24Speaker 2: but based on a movie i'm like god i can't
- 18:26Speaker 2: wait for this fire up the.
- 18:32Speaker 1: As far as casting goes, they've got to have the
- 18:36Speaker 1: good heel, you know, bad guy, which to me, there's
- 18:40Speaker 1: one person they should cast. If they were going to
- 18:42Speaker 1: try to do that kind of Carrie Elway's role, Glenn Powell. Yeah.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I'm with you there.
- 18:51Speaker 1: He would be more perfect casting choice. Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Because he, because he was sort of that in top
- 18:58Speaker 2: gun Maverick. Uh, so, uh, doing it again would certainly fit. Um,
- 19:06Speaker 2: don't know what they're going to do story wise, but
- 19:08Speaker 2: according to some early reports and Hathaway's character is going
- 19:12Speaker 2: to be, I believe a team owner and engineer. Don't
- 19:15Speaker 2: know if she's going to necessarily be a love interest
- 19:19Speaker 2: or if she perhaps might be a competing team owner.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Maybe she's sort of the bad guy in the situation.
- 19:25Speaker 2: We don't know, have no idea what the story, uh, holds. Um,
- 19:31Speaker 2: But I do know, like you said, Trey, I'm with you.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Like Tom Cruise is probably realizing he's at the end
- 19:37Speaker 2: of some of his action days. So he's going back
- 19:39Speaker 2: through his catalog thinking, OK, what can I remake? The
- 19:44Speaker 2: way we did Top Gun and really deliver for fans
- 19:48Speaker 2: of these films and Days of Thunder 2. 2 hell yes.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Listen there have been people asking for a Days of
- 19:54Speaker 1: Thunder sequel for just about as long as they were
- 19:57Speaker 1: a Top Gun sequel yeah and now it'll be really
- 20:01Speaker 1: curious because if Tom Cruise tries to be the driver
- 20:07Speaker 1: of It's going to be a complete suspension of disbelief
- 20:11Speaker 1: because NASCAR drivers, you just, you lose it at a
- 20:15Speaker 1: certain point. I mean, especially past 50, it ain't happening.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And maybe that's going to be the point of the
- 20:24Speaker 2: film is like people convincing him. It's like, dude, you
- 20:26Speaker 2: got to give it up. No, no, I just need
- 20:28Speaker 2: one more ride. And maybe that'll be the film and
- 20:30Speaker 2: it'll be that thin. But because of the success of
- 20:33Speaker 2: Top Gun Maverick, and even in addition to that, The
- 20:37Speaker 2: success that he's had with the entire Mission Impossible series,
- 20:41Speaker 2: when you go back and watch them, it's easy to
- 20:43Speaker 2: point back if you've never seen them and point about
- 20:45Speaker 2: how ridiculous this many sequels to a franchise there are.
- 20:49Speaker 2: But when you actually watch them, they're really good. And
- 20:52Speaker 2: part of the reason they're really good is because of
- 20:55Speaker 2: Tom Cruise and also his producing and writing partner, Christopher McQuarrie.
- 20:59Speaker 2: That dude, those two together do some really good work.
- 21:03Speaker 2: And so I'm fired up about Days of Thunder, too.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And it also gets me thinking, OK, well, if Tom
- 21:08Speaker 2: Cruise is going through his catalog thinking, OK, what can
- 21:10Speaker 2: I start making sequels out of? What else would I
- 21:13Speaker 2: like to see Tom Cruise revisit? Like, are we going
- 21:16Speaker 2: to get, you know, Color of Money 2 or My
- 21:19Speaker 2: Wife's Worst Nightmare Cocktail 2? Because as a bartender, when
- 21:26Speaker 2: she was like 18, 17, 18 years old, it cocktail
- 21:31Speaker 2: was required watching for her starting out in bars because
- 21:34Speaker 2: they wanted her to do flair and she's like I
- 21:37Speaker 2: don't do flair I make drinks so she hates that movie.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yeah everyone after cocktail was trying to flip bottles uh
- 21:47Speaker 1: I figured it doesn't end up well for anybody I
- 21:50Speaker 1: figured you were gonna want risky business too.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Because of Tom Cruise and his underwear dancing in the living.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Room yep Thanks for answering that.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Gotta admit, I did not see that coming. Let's get
- 22:13Speaker 2: Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration in the
- 22:16Speaker 2: tree house for your free roof inspection and property review.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Call 833-COOK-DFW today to get that scheduled. 833-COOK-DFW. The website
- 22:25Speaker 2: is cookdfw.com. Daniel Cook. Part of the roofing process is
- 22:31Speaker 2: knowing about ventilation and how important that can be to
- 22:35Speaker 2: the life of the roof. That's something you guys look at.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It's not just about shingles. Absolutely, Dan.
- 22:40Speaker 3: A lot of homeowners underestimate the amount of attic heat
- 22:45Speaker 3: buildup that their home has. It affects their AC system,
- 22:49Speaker 3: affects their roof condition long-term, affects just overall their home.
- 22:53Speaker 2: And so.
- 22:54Speaker 3: When we come out, we make that assessment with the homeowner.
- 22:57Speaker 3: We try to educate them, make sure they have the
- 22:59Speaker 3: proper ventilation. There is a calculation of this. We walk
- 23:02Speaker 3: them around. If they're interested in going around, we show
- 23:04Speaker 3: them what their intakes look like, what their exhaust system
- 23:06Speaker 3: looks like, and try to make the best fit for
- 23:09Speaker 3: their home. So that's a very common thing that we do,
- 23:11Speaker 3: and it should be done every time you have construction
- 23:13Speaker 3: done at your property. You need to be educated on
- 23:15Speaker 3: what's happening and why.
- 23:18Speaker 2: And if you've ever dealt with a roofing contractor that
- 23:21Speaker 2: didn't have a conversation with you about ventilation underneath that
- 23:27Speaker 2: roof then you need to call daniel cook at 833
- 23:30Speaker 2: cook dfw so you get the full customer service experience
- 23:36Speaker 2: that comes from cook dfw so use that number 833
- 23:39Speaker 2: cook dfw get that free inspection scheduled today 833 cook
- 23:44Speaker 2: dfw and the website cook dfw.com This segment of The
- 23:50Speaker 2: Treehouse is brought to you by Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration.

- 24:05Speaker 2: And when you get, right now, when you get that
- 24:07Speaker 2: free roof inspection and property review or a free estimate
- 24:12Speaker 2: for interior or exterior work, you will be entered into
- 24:15Speaker 2: a drawing for the Cooks Cowboys tickets. That's right. Give
- 24:19Speaker 2: him a call today, 833-COOK-DFW. Get that request in and
- 24:22Speaker 2: get it scheduled for a free roof inspection or an
- 24:25Speaker 2: estimate for interior or exterior work, and you'll be entered
- 24:29Speaker 2: into a drawing for the Cooks Cowboys tickets Thursday, October
- 24:32Speaker 2: 8th in Arlington against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So do
- 24:36Speaker 2: that today, 833-COOK-DFW. I was also thinking of other Tom
- 24:43Speaker 2: Cruise sequels that might be interesting to see, all the
- 24:45Speaker 2: right moves too. Maybe he has to go into coaching.
- 24:49Speaker 2: You get sucked back into the doldrums of Western Pennsylvania,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I think is where that one took place. Also, Rain
- 25:01Speaker 2: Man 2. You can make that. Dustin Hoffman's still alive.
- 25:08Speaker 2: For now.
- 25:12Speaker 1: God, I haven't seen... I haven't seen in ages. I'm
- 25:16Speaker 1: assuming he's not doing... Terribly well.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I have no idea, but if we're being honest, even
- 25:23Speaker 2: if he's semi-incapacitated, it might kind of lean into the role.
- 25:36Speaker 1: The movie I would love for him to make, and
- 25:43Speaker 1: they should have done it years ago, was... A Les
- 25:49Speaker 1: Grossman feature. Yes. His character from Tropic Thunder. Now that's
- 25:58Speaker 1: a movie. They can't. I think we're nearing a point
- 26:03Speaker 1: where you might be able to make that again.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I think you can. I think Hollywood is so sensitive
- 26:07Speaker 2: to certain things. They're overly sensitive to it. If you
- 26:10Speaker 2: just grew a pair and just said, you know what?
- 26:13Speaker 2: We're going to do this. Yes, we know it's ridiculous,
- 26:16Speaker 2: but you lean into the ridiculous factor the way the
- 26:19Speaker 2: first Tropic Thunder did. People are okay with it.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Especially if Robert Downey Jr. would do the role again.
- 26:30Speaker 2: It's all about context. I mean, even back in 08, 09,
- 26:35Speaker 2: when that movie first came out, when we heard Robert
- 26:38Speaker 2: Downey Jr. and saw a trailer that he was, that
- 26:41Speaker 2: he was in blackface, even back then we were like, Whoa,
- 26:44Speaker 2: that's not, you don't do that, dude. That's, that's, you don't, that's,
- 26:46Speaker 2: that's not cool. They were quick to point out, hang on.
- 26:51Speaker 2: This is a guy who's a method actor. So it's
- 26:54Speaker 2: not that it's doing like the Al Jolson, jazz singer,
- 26:57Speaker 2: you know, racist trope kind of a thing it is,
- 27:00Speaker 2: but they're making fun of Hollywood actors doing that sort
- 27:03Speaker 2: of thing, being such a method actor that he's doing
- 27:05Speaker 2: all these things.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 27:08Speaker 2: It was brilliant. And even if anyone that might have
- 27:11Speaker 2: been leaning towards being offended by it, once you see
- 27:14Speaker 2: it and how it was done, you're like, all right,
- 27:16Speaker 2: that's just pretty funny. But yeah, I'm with you. A
- 27:23Speaker 2: Les Grossman spinoff movie of some kind. Oh, God, I
- 27:27Speaker 2: wish they would do that now. Maybe in Days of
- 27:32Speaker 2: Thunder 2, Tom Cruise has a dual.
- 27:37Speaker 2: He has to reprise his role as Cole Trickle, but
- 27:40Speaker 2: he also reprises Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder, who gets
- 27:45Speaker 2: into NASCAR racing. Maybe he's the bad guy team owner.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Days of Tropic Thunder.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I would love that. I want to see that.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, no one would call that woke.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah. They might call it some things, but it ain't
- 28:06Speaker 2: going to be woke.
- 28:07Speaker 1: All right.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Today is, shockingly so, Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. Holy crap,
- 28:15Speaker 2: it's September. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. I believe
- 28:25Speaker 2: she's still kicking. Lily Tomlin, 87. Comedy legend from Laugh-In,
- 28:30Speaker 2: 9 to 5. which Dolly Parton was in. Rest in
- 28:34Speaker 2: peace to Dolly. Grace and Frankie and the voice of Ms.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Frizzle on the Magic School Bus. Lily Tomlin.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because they just, I think they just quit doing
- 28:44Speaker 1: Grace and Frankie, Frankie and Grace, whatever it was. 2022,
- 28:50Speaker 1: I think.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it was recent.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 28:56Speaker 1: You know, AMC is putting Steel Magnolias did not surprise me.
- 29:02Speaker 1: As a Dolly tribute, they're putting that back in theaters.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Hell yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 1: But they're also putting back... And I really want to
- 29:08Speaker 1: go watch this movie again because I was probably too
- 29:09Speaker 1: young to really appreciate it. So they're putting Best Little
- 29:12Speaker 1: Whorehouse in Texas back in theaters.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Hell yeah. Good for them. It's interesting, though, because I'm
- 29:19Speaker 2: always fascinated because Steel Magnolias is such an interesting movie because...
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't know of all the chick drama type films
- 29:31Speaker 2: that came out in that era that men gravitated towards
- 29:36Speaker 2: and really, really enjoyed, like Steel Magic. like there were
- 29:41Speaker 2: other like Beaches is like the chick drama thing that's
- 29:44Speaker 2: not like there aren't any typical guys going like god
- 29:48Speaker 2: I love Bette Midler she's the wind beneath my wings
- 29:51Speaker 2: they're not doing that with Beaches I didn't do that
- 29:53Speaker 2: with Joy Luck Club that my mom made me watch
- 29:55Speaker 2: in three hours I'll never get back but Steel Magnolias, Trey,
- 29:59Speaker 2: you and I both love Steel Magnolias. Such a great movie.
- 30:03Speaker 2: And it's, and it shouldn't be geared towards.
- 30:07Speaker 1: No, but I think so of all those movies, the
- 30:12Speaker 1: one movie I did lie and it was a chick
- 30:15Speaker 1: flick and sad, uh, but also funny at times was
- 30:19Speaker 1: terms of endearment. Um, But I also, I think Steel
- 30:25Speaker 1: Magnolias plays on the fact that we grew up with
- 30:27Speaker 1: Golden Girls. Yep. And the writing in Steel Magnolias, especially
- 30:34Speaker 1: between Olympia Dukakis and Shirley MacLaine, and just a lot
- 30:39Speaker 1: of it centered around Shirley MacLaine was just brilliant. You know,
- 30:46Speaker 1: one of my all-time favorite lines, you know, Shirley MacLaine of, Oh,
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm sure he's a real gentleman. He takes the dishes
- 30:52Speaker 1: out of the sink before he pees in it. That....
- 30:59Speaker 2: That line still slaps.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Always will. Yeah. So... I was probably, again, too young
- 31:11Speaker 1: to really appreciate 9 to 5, which I want to
- 31:15Speaker 1: go back and see. But yeah, Steel Magnolias, that is
- 31:18Speaker 1: a movie... I don't care if you really watch it.
- 31:22Speaker 1: And if you don't go in with just a bias,
- 31:25Speaker 1: it's funny.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Oh, it's hysterical. Especially if you're from the South, because
- 31:30Speaker 2: then it has an extra layer to it because, you know,
- 31:32Speaker 2: people like that. And you've seen some situations like that.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Other birthdays today. The last surviving Gibb brother from the
- 31:39Speaker 2: Bee Gees. Barry Gibb is 80. Congratulations to him. From
- 31:43Speaker 2: the Miami Sound Machine. Gloria Estefan is 69. Uh, Conway
- 31:50Speaker 2: Twitty would have been 93, but he passed away in 93.
- 31:55Speaker 2: My grandma's favorite Conway Twitty. It's interesting. We were mentioning, uh,
- 31:59Speaker 2: Bette Midler. She has, I don't even know who did
- 32:02Speaker 2: the original song, the rose, but I think Conway did
- 32:07Speaker 2: it before Bette Midler did it. Bette Midler did it.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I don't know who the original singer songwriter is of
- 32:12Speaker 2: that song, but, uh, two great versions, honestly, of that song. Uh,
- 32:19Speaker 2: scott speedman is 51 he's best known as ben from
- 32:22Speaker 2: felicity he was also in underworld uh i didn't also
- 32:27Speaker 2: gray's anatomy i.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Didn't realize conway twitty was that young when he.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Died i didn't either i thought you know to me
- 32:33Speaker 2: he all he well he always seemed old but yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah so he was god he was in his 50s
- 32:37Speaker 1: yeah 93 that's not 30.
- 32:40Speaker 2: So yeah he was 59 60 wow Yeah. Dr. Phil
- 32:51Speaker 2: is 76. And Padma Lakshmi, longtime former now host of
- 32:57Speaker 2: Top Chef, is 56. Still... I.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Think she still maintains executive producer on that show, though.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Does she? I think so. I think I read where.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I don't remember because we just watched... We've watched the
- 33:11Speaker 2: last couple of seasons since she's left. I don't know
- 33:15Speaker 2: if I remember seeing her name on there.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I didn't really... So... Brandy loved that show and would actually,
- 33:22Speaker 1: she went back and started watching from season one. And
- 33:24Speaker 1: so I watched it. She was actually, Pat Malachy was
- 33:29Speaker 1: actually really good for that role and what she did.
- 33:32Speaker 1: But yeah, I think when I saw, because obviously I
- 33:34Speaker 1: saw that she was no longer hosting, but she maintained
- 33:39Speaker 1: like executive producer on that. And I would think so.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I mean, she was on it long enough that it
- 33:45Speaker 1: wouldn't surprise me.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but she has gone on to do her own
- 33:48Speaker 2: thing now. She is creator of Taste the Nation.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Whatever that is.
- 33:55Speaker 2: And I'm building up to the big birthday today, which
- 33:58Speaker 2: is a young woman by the name of Zendaya. She
- 34:01Speaker 2: is 30 today. We mentioned Anne Hathaway earlier being on
- 34:05Speaker 2: a streak. For being 30 years old, Zendaya is having
- 34:11Speaker 2: herself a hell of a career.
- 34:13Speaker 1: It is amazing.
- 34:14Speaker 2: She's having a hell of a year, and it ain't
- 34:17Speaker 2: even done yet. The roles and the films that she's
- 34:20Speaker 2: been in overall, and then just this year, it's amazing.
- 34:26Speaker 2: She's going to close out the year with Dune 3,
- 34:29Speaker 2: but she's in the middle of a $ 2 billion Spider-Man
- 34:32Speaker 2: franchise release. Euphoria, I mean, just tons of films, and
- 34:41Speaker 2: she's a phenomenal singer.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I didn't even know she sang. Yeah.
- 34:46Speaker 2: She's really good.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Oh, uh, have you seen dune too? Yes.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I've seen, I've seen the dune movies. Yes.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I still haven't watched that. I guess. Is it good? Yes.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Okay. It really is.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:01Speaker 2: I remember watching the original dune with Kyle McLaughlin when
- 35:03Speaker 2: I was a kid and I didn't really understand it.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I didn't think I was too young, I think. Um,
- 35:07Speaker 2: but you know, seeing a guy like running from a
- 35:09Speaker 2: big butthole worm or something, it seemed weird. Um, So
- 35:12Speaker 2: I didn't really get it. When I was like five
- 35:14Speaker 2: years old, to me, it was on the same level
- 35:16Speaker 2: as Ice Pirates, which is unfortunate for the Dune. But
- 35:20Speaker 2: this current Denis Villeneuve Dune trilogy, it's really, really good.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And it is stacked.
- 35:29Speaker 2: On the cast. The first one was really, really good.
- 35:32Speaker 2: The second one's good. And you know it has this
- 35:34Speaker 2: whole arc where it goes where Paul Atreides ends up
- 35:37Speaker 2: being the bad guy because he becomes what he's trying
- 35:40Speaker 2: to fight against. The third one's going to be really
- 35:42Speaker 2: good and interesting to see. I'm excited for it. It'll
- 35:46Speaker 2: be a fun day at the movies, though, because they're
- 35:47Speaker 2: going to have Dune 3 in one theater and Avengers
- 35:50Speaker 2: Doomsday in the other.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Is Zendaya in Avengers Doomsday? Wouldn't surprise me.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Even if she's in the background, she's eating a sandwich.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It's very possible when it comes to the Doomsday casting,
- 36:08Speaker 2: because There are so many rumors that are floating around
- 36:12Speaker 2: on that. And you know what? I don't care. I
- 36:15Speaker 2: don't want to know whatever the rumors are. I pretty
- 36:18Speaker 2: much already have an idea of what the story is
- 36:19Speaker 2: going to be. I don't want any spoilers. I don't
- 36:22Speaker 2: understand why people do that. Oh, this storyline has been leaked.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Here's what it is.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I don't want to know.
- 36:27Speaker 2: I want to go to the movie and enjoy it.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I'd like a little bit of surprise. It's actually about
- 36:32Speaker 2: the only thing in my life that I don't mind
- 36:34Speaker 2: being surprised.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Oh, I know. So it's Florence Pugh who's in Dune 3.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I knew someone was like, she's going to have a
- 36:42Speaker 1: hell of a day. You're right.
- 36:44Speaker 2: She is because she's prominent in Avengers as being a
- 36:47Speaker 2: part of the new Avengers. And she's a prominent role
- 36:51Speaker 2: in Dune 3. That's going to be a hell of
- 36:54Speaker 2: a premiere week for some of these actors. Especially for her.
- 36:59Speaker 1: They got to have like that cartoon effect of just
- 37:01Speaker 1: dollar signs just rolling with their eyes. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 1: She'll be standing. If they have points.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Oh, yes, yes. Or as what she refers to as
- 37:10Speaker 2: big potatoes.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you feel restless and anxious? Feel like something's

- 38:17Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Going into that last break, we
- 38:20Speaker 2: were talking about Florence Pugh in the new Spider-Man movie,
- 38:24Speaker 2: also in Dune 3. She's going to have a huge
- 38:28Speaker 2: end of the year being in Dune 3 and Avengers Doomsday.
- 38:32Speaker 2: And because social media shows you the stuff that you
- 38:37Speaker 2: show any inkling of an interest in, I watched a
- 38:40Speaker 2: couple of Florence Pugh videos because they were clips of
- 38:42Speaker 2: her from the Spider-Man movie. And so now I'm seeing
- 38:46Speaker 2: a bunch of Florence Pugh stuff. I don't know if
- 38:48Speaker 2: you've seen I know you've seen the new Spider-Man movie
- 38:51Speaker 2: where it's her in her office, the Russian bathhouse and
- 38:54Speaker 2: Spider-Man is in there with the mask on. There's this
- 38:57Speaker 2: one clip that keeps circulating that I watch every single
- 39:00Speaker 2: time because it's hysterical. It was hysterical in the movie
- 39:03Speaker 2: and it's hysterical on on social media. When someone points
- 39:07Speaker 2: out Florence Pugh, something along the lines of. Florence Pugh
- 39:14Speaker 2: is a legend for her reaction to Peter's feet in
- 39:17Speaker 2: the bath. Because when his feet come up, she briefly
- 39:21Speaker 2: pauses and does a double take and then goes back
- 39:24Speaker 2: to what she was saying about potatoes and things.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And it really is.
- 39:27Speaker 2: It's such a detail thing but it's the mark of
- 39:30Speaker 2: a phenomenal actor who can look at something and make
- 39:33Speaker 2: something so small huge and it's hysterical that whole scene
- 39:38Speaker 2: I love that movie I love that movie so hard.
- 39:42Speaker 1: It really surprised me that that character they they has
- 39:48Speaker 1: developed so well out of the Black Widow movie. A
- 39:56Speaker 1: lot of people thought she was kind of over the
- 39:58Speaker 1: top in it. I liked her in Black Widow.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I thought she was great. I don't know what it is.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I haven't dug in too much of it, but I
- 40:07Speaker 2: guess some people didn't like Thunderbolts that much. I thought
- 40:10Speaker 2: it was fantastic. I thought Thunderbolts was really, really good,
- 40:13Speaker 2: which became New Avengers.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Here's my I very much like Thunderbolt. Now, when they
- 40:22Speaker 1: start calling them the Avengers, then I'm like, no, that's
- 40:24Speaker 1: not the Avengers. Okay.
- 40:26Speaker 2: It's the new Avengers.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 2: We have the merchandise. Yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Save that for Mel Brooks.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Which real quick, before we get into, uh, the death
- 40:41Speaker 2: over enchiladas, I don't know if it's true or not,
- 40:43Speaker 2: but speaking of Mel Brooks, uh, Rick Moranis said recently
- 40:48Speaker 2: that the reason why he agreed to come out of
- 40:50Speaker 2: retirement and do Spaceballs 2 was just so he could
- 40:53Speaker 2: get Josh Gad to stop texting him about doing Spaceballs 2.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I mean, that is, people don't realize that Rick Moranis didn't,
- 41:03Speaker 1: he didn't get shunned from acting or anything else. I
- 41:06Speaker 1: think his wife had passed away and so he devoted
- 41:08Speaker 1: his life to raising his kids. And yeah, it was
- 41:13Speaker 1: a huge deal to get him out of retirement. So
- 41:17Speaker 1: that wouldn't surprise me.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't surprise me that Josh Gad would annoy
- 41:21Speaker 2: and pester him to an unimaginable degree. I don't know
- 41:26Speaker 2: if it's true that it ultimately pushed him over the
- 41:28Speaker 2: edge to say, fine, I'll do it. Just stop texting me.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Or because you can always change your number.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Well, see, that's the thing that cracks me up about that.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Just thinking about it is every other star is going
- 41:39Speaker 1: to be like, all right, just get a new number.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Rick Moranis is probably, you know, he's been in Canada
- 41:43Speaker 1: raising his kids. He's out of it. He's like, I
- 41:45Speaker 1: don't want to. He's like, like us. It's like, I've
- 41:48Speaker 1: had this number for years.
- 41:49Speaker 2: I don't.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 2: This number's mine.
- 41:52Speaker 1: You lose it. He strikes me as the type that
- 41:54Speaker 1: still has a flip phone because otherwise you just block it.
- 41:58Speaker 2: You're probably right about that. All right. Let's, let's, uh,
- 42:02Speaker 2: before we get into death, you know, actually let's just
- 42:04Speaker 2: start with death over enchiladas. I want to make sure
- 42:06Speaker 2: we don't miss this story because it's absolutely terrible. An
- 42:11Speaker 2: argument over green chili enchiladas escalated to a homicide investigation. Whoops.
- 42:19Speaker 2: A disagreement over the heat of green chili enchiladas led
- 42:23Speaker 2: to a fatal shooting Friday in northeast Albuquerque. A spokesman
- 42:27Speaker 2: for Albuquerque police says 22-year-old Irvin Gutierrez got into a
- 42:31Speaker 2: fight with a relative, Nathaniel Cavazos. Court records say the
- 42:35Speaker 2: fight took place after Gutierrez claimed that the green chilies
- 42:38Speaker 2: in his enchiladas were hotter than then the Green Chili's
- 42:41Speaker 2: Cavazos made for himself and another person. According to records,
- 42:46Speaker 2: Cavazos attempted to walk away from Gutierrez. Once the fight ended,
- 42:49Speaker 2: Gutierrez pulled out a gun and shot Cavazos at least
- 42:53Speaker 2: once after the two men began to argue. Cavazos died
- 42:56Speaker 2: at the scene. Now Gutierrez is being held at Metropolitan
- 43:00Speaker 2: Detention Center on a murder charge. He made his first
- 43:02Speaker 2: court appearance on Saturday, and now his case moves to
- 43:05Speaker 2: the 2nd District Court, where a detention hearing will be
- 43:08Speaker 2: held next week. all because of the heat over some
- 43:12Speaker 2: green chili enchiladas. My enchiladas are hotter than yours. No,
- 43:16Speaker 2: they're not. Bang, you're dead.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'm assuming drinking was involved in this story.
- 43:22Speaker 2: It doesn't mention it specifically in the article, but I
- 43:26Speaker 2: feel like if you're the reporter, it should be a
- 43:28Speaker 2: fair question to ask.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Because otherwise, I think you're going to know that if
- 43:33Speaker 1: you're both eating green chili enchiladas, it was probably the
- 43:37Speaker 1: same business. batch of green chili sauce on both of them.
- 43:41Speaker 1: That's not really something you make per dish. Right. Uh,
- 43:47Speaker 1: but yeah, I mean, I guess, uh, red sauce from
- 43:50Speaker 1: him for now on.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I'm proud of you.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I'm a little ashamed. No, don't be. Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 2: I'll have the Roja, please. Roja, por favor. That'll do
- 44:10Speaker 2: it for us.
- 44:10Speaker 1: That'll be his prison nickname, Rojo.
