- Lynn: Hello and welcome to the occultinarium. We are the voices of the occultinarium and tonight's hosts Luigi: Luigi. Adriana: Adriana Amelie: Amelie Lynn: And then tonight we are all of us again. welcome back Adriana. You have been missed. thanks for joining. tonight Adriana: Thank you. My pleasure. Thank you to you all. Thank you for missing me. Lynn: Tonight is the ninth of August 2026 and we are continuing our explorations of the tarot cards according to the decans. now we're cheating a little bit because technically we're not yet in the decan we're going to talk about But once we release this, the decan is probably at the end or be over, so you're getting it around the time. because today we're going to talk about the Seven of Wands, which is the last decan of Leo. And that the timing of that is from the twelfth to the twenty-second of August. so yeah, it's it's getting juicy. or it's already been juicy but it's juicy today. So we come from the fifth, from the five to the sixth. Now the seventh, I'll just bring up our classical pretty people here. So we have in the Smith on this side, we have in the Thoth on that side. as you can see in the Thoth, the hermetic Amelie: We have the hermetic hair and we have the golden dawn hair. Lynn: The Golden Dawn. We're getting used to seeing the Golden Dawn Hermatic. well they're very different, aren't they? Amelie: Yeah. Lynn: So as you can see, at least on the Thoth and the hermetic, we're in Leo and the ruler, Adriana: you Lynn: the descending order is Mars, and in the triplicity order, we also have Mars. So this decan is doubly ruled by a wonderful malefic Mars. I'm not sure how you feel about Mars personally. it's my personal big adversary, as I'm a Day Chart person, and I do not jive well with Mars. So in in in some things, in some things. But anyway, I can start you off a little bit with talking about the decan that we're in. So in the in the five of wands of the first decan of Leo, we we're kind of like you know, we we have like this idea of like well struggle, strife, fighting but in the first one we're kind of establishing something where we're kind of going into this this is me presentation and being ready to step into the light and be judged by it and having this courage to do so. and while in the six and the second decan we Adriana: you Lynn: got through the struggles from the five and we claimed victory, we're sitting on the throne, we're having a good time, everything is amazing for us personally, or for the decan. And now we are in the seven and now it's kind of the point of time where we've been on the throne and we have enjoyed being the ruler and the victor and people have started to build resistance. Like it's this idea of like, you know, if you're the ruler on the throne and people start to build a resistance and they starting to either, you know well, they have liked you before and now maybe there's people who fear you, loathe you or start working against you. So there's a certain resistance now and this resistance against you is is coming for you. I'm saying you, but I mean it's like the energy of the of of the decan, right? So the person sitting on the throne on the sixth is now being challenged by the people around them. And and so so here you have to defend this the glory, the image that you've made for yourself in the sixth, as you can see very well in in in the Smith version. Now classically the the decanic images are more about well, people being on a throne. Like there's this one image from was it the tenth century, it's quite old, from like a a a woman sitting on an ivory throne, I think it was, and she is plotting against her enemies. So you have this idea of somebody on a throne and there's gonna there's adversaries and you either have to defeat them or to do something about it. I think it's early. I think it was the fifth century actually. It was quite quite quite early. yeah. So people and people born in this decan they tend to be pretty, pretty tough. so there's people who often can even if there's strong adversary moments, they have this potential, this power to push through really, really, really harsh stuff. So yeah, really usually very strong, very strong people. So, yes, double Mars. So much about that and the and the decans let's jump into the the actual tarot cards. Adriana: not only this card, but as you were saying about the whole complexity because we pass from Saturn who was putting like a resistance towards attest yourself, know, then to Jupiter that's the expansion. And now Mars, that is the world is like this, you know, they nitty gritty to let's see what you are from, you know, what you are built off. And that we can see it in the card because well first of all is no- number seven, it belongs to the Sephira of Netzach. That is the Sephira of achievement, but the victory, the eternity, is like the mentality of fire as well, but is the creation or is a Sephira that's inviting you to collect the fruit and to accept who you are, to accept your own glory, to accept and recognize your own power. And sometimes we struggle with that because when you see the evolution from the five, six to the seventh is like a series of achievement, but it's not a spiritual picture because six, can pollute your spiritual as well with the ego of the Leo that is the sun, it has all the... qualities to be the leader, the king, the lion, the beast, the more powerful sign, but it's a recognition of your own ego and to see if what you are creating is for the good of everyone or the fact that you feel powerful is because others are submitting towards you or in reality you learn through Mars. through this inner battle because the psychological aspect is not only the fight against others, but it's a fight against yourself in recognizing that if a real power or is a vanity related to ego. And Netzach doesn't forgive that. You have to confront that. have to be very honest and truthful. And sometimes that is the battle in Mars, in Leo is that it can squash you at any time, that it can demonstrate that you really are not that powerful. So yes, the fifth is the testing to see if you are worthy of become the king. On the sixth is Jupiter that glorified that glory, but it's a test as well to see if your ego is involved in this. And Netzach is really telling you like the true nature of your own power. So to me, this is a fascinating card because it's carry on being challenging, but at the same time is glorifying your power. It's a victory card. Lynn: Mm. Yeah, I mean like you see in the in the Smith, right? So we're having this person who's standing who's standing there on top of like a little hill and he has his own wand and then you see like six other wands are raised, we assume against him and you see he has like a Adriana: Yes. Lynn: fierce and very determined face and he's like, Okay, I will just battle you. So I I will battle down, I will I will keep my position. but you see it's not gonna be easy necessarily. But he is still at the point where it's like I'll do this I have the strength and I want to keep my position I want to stay here so he's holding on he's like holding on to the power holding on to the glory holding on to what you've established so far but you're being challenged Adriana: He is huge. He comes from a very, very enlarged ego. And he is the sun, and Lynn: Yes. Adriana: he is Leo. And sometimes when we have so much, or we deny it, yes, or we deny that Lynn: What more ego than this, you know, if you're like a triumph, you know. This is that's is boosting your ego. Adriana: we are afraid of our own power. or we became so intoxicated in egocentric perception of the self, like a god, where we're trying to find the glorification through putting others down. And that is the challenge, in fact, that Mars is because Mars, we know the tower, that all these elements that can break you in seconds, you know? So the lesson here to me is, are you really powerful enough to be merciful, to be humble, to be generous, to be creative, but sharing yourself and not trying to dominate someone else in order to you feel more powerful? And that's the representation of the card because he's enormous and he's huge and he's in the top of the mountain. But the lesson here, the spiritual lesson, the psychological aspect of this card is that is a real power that you have or is simply based in your ego to try to make you feel better, that you are better than others. So yeah, it's a very interesting card when you see it. I think next act is bring you that eternity sense of victory but is a mature victory. And that's why I have seen the transition that we are witnesses from the fifth, from a very young king or pretending to be worth it of the kingdom with Jupiter putting, you know, then Jupiter in the six that is exalting that thing that you are there. But now this one is teaching you how mature are you in order to sustain this position. And so that's the question that we have to pose ourselves when we see the discard coming up. And equally in relationships, in work related situations, on your inner work through yourself is, am I really, you know, genuinely powerful or I'm trying to use others for my own glorification. Luigi: Deep questions. Lynn: That's the question. Amelie: Well, I don't... I don't know. I feel like it's been so many negative things have been said, isn't it? like all negative? I also... Maybe it's more... You can more see it in the Thoth Deck because of the one in the middle is on fire and... I find this also a card of defending, or like kind of standing your ground. And it's almost like a test to see how much you're willing to fight for the things that you believe in. So no matter if you're good or bad or whatever you want, this is a little bit like a test. Like, you are the only one that believes in this thing and you're standing there alone. How, you know, how much are you willing to fight? Obviously, in the seventh of the wands, you're willing to fight it because you have that Mars energy within you and you just go for it. Lynn: I mean with the seven of wands in the Thoth, I think it's it's very valuable to actually put it up right next to the six because you can see the six right that we had Amelie: Mm-hmm. Lynn: we talked about in our last session. So go check it out if you haven't be talking about excessively. But you having the exact same staffs or wands in the seven. it's the same wands with the the Uraeus like the lined up like the three and three parallelly with the Uraeus snake and then the the Phoenix heads and the Lotus heads here and but then you have this wand in the middle as Amelie pointed out that is kind of crushing and crushing the previously harmoniously shining or burning flames are now crushed here. But you're having the exact same staffs or wands as in the six here. it's just one step further. And I think like like you said, Amelie, it's like you have you're standing you're standing so you you believe in something, you have fought for something, and this is kind of like testing you, right? Are you willing to actually keep standing in the heat that you're getting from others? And typically when you get this card it's more often telling you to try and stand in it, not give up. It's like, okay, there's this idea you have that energy, you have the power, although it is hard. So if you truly believe in it, you should keep standing in it. I mean, just what you said, right? but just having it on this on this kind of over layer the background that again we're in the seven and Crowley didn't like the sevens because Too feminine and na na na and a lot about the sevens for Crowley is that people trying really hard but then they be trying a little bit too hard. So yeah. But it's the Lord of Valor again, but Crowley liked the wands, so I suppose it's you know a compromise Luigi: Yeah, I think it becomes interesting when you compare n you can do this with every single card, not just necessarily with the sevens, but it's interesting when you compare the seven of wands, particularly in the Thoth, and you match it with the seven of cups, the seven of swords and the seven of discs. you can clearly see the Yeah, I didn't wanna say that word. I was looking for a more diplomatic term, Lynn: Favorite the f yeah, the favouritism of the ones. Luigi: but the favoritism for or the the the innate devotion, that's a diplomatic way to put it for Crowley towards the Lynn: Yeah, but I it's Crowley Crowley's Luigi: wands. Lynn: world, right? It's Thelema, it's the will above all. You know, it's like Luigi: Mm. Lynn: it's about the fight, it's about the will. So every wand should have something positive, even if it's in his detested seven Netzach. It's like it's still still good enough for Crowley. Luigi: Yeah. Amelie: But also Luigi: I think Amelie: I think in the Thoth deck you can really see more so than in the Smith deck is that if you do stand your ground and if you fight for what you believe in, you might actually get other followers because Adriana: Mm-hmm. Amelie: the fire is spreading onto everyone else. So if you don't give up and you fight for what you believe in, you might get the others to join you. Lynn: That's Amelie: that's how good you are. Lynn: a very good point. Mm. That's a very good point. Hmm. Adriana: Yes, because on the sixth of four, you already achieved the position. In the five of wands you are tested, in the six you are recognized, but in the seven you defend what you have achieved. So you are already the winner, you are already an achiever. But obviously, You have to build up in that power. You have to mature that power that will give you the strength and the confidence to carry on. And I think that, I think what is fascinating in this card is the angels and the archangels, they are complying this card because from Netzach Nexack the Sephiroth, she has her own archangel. The archangel is Haniel. that is the glory of God. already is at the maximum is already glorified. He has already had the crown, So the seventh, it corresponds to the first five degrees of the seventh, or the third decan of Leo, correspond to the angel number 29, that is his name is Basaraya. Basaraya, I think, embody the energies of justice, clemency, and memory, eloquence, and overcome adversaries. So that is a position that we are there so we can, when you invoke angels, you call them by syllables of va, si, ra, three times in order to invoke the energy, in order to work with that energy to give you the justice and to give you the clemency and to give the memory and to give you all the virtues that this angel have and I think the lesson that he brings is know what is just. The angel number 30 that is for the second part of the decan the five degrees of the third decan of Leo is Genuaya. So Genuaya. is obedience to the higher power order, is exposing hidden truths, is the loyalty, is the protection, is aligned with the higher good. And that is what we're saying that is the teaching there, the lesson is defend with discernment. So it's not the fighter that is like, testing in the five, is not the one that glorified when come back and won the battle, is the one who has to defend with a discernment, with a maturity, with a light, working with Netzach's Archangel, the Haniel, that is the glory of God. So that was the panoply of the evolution between these. they can study, it's helping you to achieve or to reach a level of maturity where the saltation and the trying to prove yourself is not there anymore is just war with discernment and prudence. And that is what is beautiful about this. Lynn: Find it yeah. It's interesting that 'cause I the in the hermetic, I guess the hermetic goes after slightly different system and I know there's different Amelie: The Hermetic and the Golden Dawn have the same angels, yes, but it's not the ones that you mentioned. Yeah. Lynn: That's the same angels. Yeah, yeah. It's not the Shamham Farrash it. Adriana: Yes, the Chimhameh Foraj, that is the names of God. Obviously, this is adapted later on the 19th century by the traditions of the tarot and the Golden Age and so on. So we cannot say this is Shemham Forash directly because we... saying something that is not completely accurate is based on that system, but is using Lynn: Mm. Adriana: the 72 names of God. Lynn: Mm. I think it's it's been come up earlier, I I'm not sure because this is not researched, but I have this feeling that the Golden Dawn tradition just has different angels assigned Lon Milo Duquette follows Adriana: And that's it, that's it now. Lynn: the same I mean he's you know, he's also in the O. C. right, but i it's the same as in the Hermetic. tarot and there it would be instead of the ones that are originally assigned in the Shemham Forash there's different ones, is Mahashaya and Lelahel but there's so many different ones like also if you look at the at the other side like with the daimons you also get different daimons so it's like Figure out technically though, if yeah, if you're working with either angels or daimons then because there's different systems, if you really wanna follow system, you have more ways to find a perfect day to work with these entities if you're really going into like this kind of election and and trying to find a good time. Yeah. Adriana: Yes, and you can find and you can investigate your date of birth. Obviously, they are linked, but they work in five degrees. from, you know, Lynn: Mm. Adriana: there are like four or five days you have the same angel and there are the other the archangels. But you can go explore with stones or with incantations with the angels. There is a lot of information there that you can research about how to work with them. Lynn: Mm, mm. That's I think yeah. Luigi: I that's the beauty of the occult. You're never you're never gonna be lacking stuff to Lynn: Yeah. Luigi: research or rabbit holes to dive into. if you ever were Lynn: So so many. Luigi: afraid, I don't know what else I'm gonna do with my life, just turn to the occult and you're gonna take your pick. The rest of your life is sorted. Lynn: That's right. That's true. we can go into the hermetic then if you if you're looking into the hermetic card and the golden dawn again with the hermetic their hermetic deck it's very similar to the Thoth in the design Adriana: Hmm. Lynn: in this one. Adriana: Yeah. Lynn: I think most of the minors are quite similar in design. one of the main differences is I guess is the top of the staffs. We having the Uraeus snakes on both like I mean if you're comparing them right we having the Uraeus snakes are represented in both images and the discs, the the flying disks. Adriana: Mm. Lynn: but and the Lotus. I'm not sure though if these are technically lotuses. There might be. But then these are like they're a bit different here. We do not have the Phoenix heads in this one. And the Adriana: Mm. Lynn: other difference is the stylization of the the Leo tails down here, in in the cards. But otherwise is a similar image. Adriana: Those are beautiful cars. Lynn: Yeah. I mean what is striking me as one kind of difference is actually the middle yeah and you're having the Mars symbol down here as well, like If you're not looking at these two but just this one, it's also supposed to be the Mars and like a disc. but this middle staff here i is where it strikes me as different 'cause in the Thoth the middle one is kind of anonymous. There's nothing attached to it. It's I mean it's large, it's breaking, it's bit struggling but it's very strong and thick. But here it's the one that has the Ureaus snakes. Luigi: Am I right 'cause I haven't got that deck, but am I seeing like a bow and arrow at the very top? Lynn: Mm I'm not seeing it. I'm seeing the snake. Luigi: Inside the inside a circle am I seeing a bow and arrow? Lynn: inside the disks? No, inside here? Luigi: Yeah. That that one that you're pointing at right now. Amelie: This one? Luigi: Yeah. Lynn: yeah. Truthful. Hmm. Amelie: Yeah, there is a bow and arrow, yes. Adriana: Yes. Luigi: Mm, how intriguing. Lynn: Is that maybe that's an Apollo like because we're s well I mean we're Leo, we're not really in the sun here though. Because bow and arrow, Artemis, or Apollo, kind of we're kind of in that symbolism then. Mm otherwise I'm Luigi: Yeah. I mean Adriana: So I don't know. Luigi: Not specifically, but the bow and arrow it's also quite martial as a symbol. Like not astrologically speaking, but you know, like when you look at the sigil well the glyph rather, the planetary glyph of Mars, Lynn: Yeah. Yeah, true. Luigi: that's kind of like you need to go abstractedly. Like that's kind of a bow and arrow going on in a circle. Lynn: Yeah, but it is. No, but it's true it is. I mean, Luigi: Mm. Lynn: you have definitely have like the the the arrow head in Mars and you could either see that as an arrow, you could also see it as like you know, as a spear or something. but maybe that's we're just we don't know. We're speculating Luigi: Yeah, and I guess I don't know if it's intentional Lynn: now. Luigi: Yeah. And I don't know whether it's intentional or not intentional, but even that bow and arrow, they create like the not optical illusion, but you know, i because I see the bow and arrow now, but before I focused on that, it creates the symbol of the solar cloths as well, which is quite cute. Cute which is quite poignant. Adriana: Because in this one you have this symbol as well, so I don't know. Amelie: That's what you see. That's what you kind of see, you know, when you look at it at a glance, you see the sun symbol. Adriana: Yes. Luigi: The solar class. Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: Exactly. But it's obviously not. Adriana: that's the Laurel crown but as well must have another symbolic symbol is behind that. Lynn: I mean, we are in Leo, so that's that's Sun's little home, right? So it's not it's not strange that there would be sun symbolism in in the the Leo decan in cards, Luigi: Course, of course. Lynn: right? So Adriana: Yeah. Lynn: i if if it is just co referring to the sun, although the sun is not actually the decanic ruler here, you still have sun as the ruler of the entire so zodiac or I mean it's it's The Sun's house. The Sun's Luigi: Mm-hmm. Lynn: domicile. so Adriana: Yeah. Lynn: and in that case it could be also the play with the bow and arrow that maybe it's Apollo. Apollo's been seen as like the sun god and he also is often as an archer. just not as Artemis. Artemis is Artemis is Luna, right? Or connected with Luna and Apollo is connected with Sol, but both of them are Luigi: Yeah. However Adriana: Yes. It was fun. Cheers. Lynn: ha have the bows and arrow while Artemis is more the hunter, with Apollo it's more like the going for like a particular goal and you know, it's more like shooting to a target. Yeah. Luigi: Yeah, yeah. And there's so many other options that we can consider because the bow and arrow can be a Eros symbol as well. And that will be applicable being in Netzach, you know, the sphere of Venus. But additionally, interesting Lynn: Mm. Venus, right? Hmm. Luigi: yeah, and interestingly enough as well, I believe so obviously the bow and arrow is also a symbol of Sagittarius, or at least one of the many symbols of Sagittarius. And I think it's applicable because in the ninth house, that's where the sun is a home. So in in astrology there is like a tradition where all of the planets are at home. I I don't know how to fully express what being at home means, but it's like it works kind of similarly to exaltations. Yeah, Lynn: The Thomasil, yeah. Mm. Luigi: and and they have a specific house where they have the domiciliarity, if that's the right word to use. And for the sun, it's in the ninth house. obviously the nine number nine being connected to Sagittarius the ninth sign. so there's something else for us to play with, whether it's you know the the the bow and arrow of Mars, the bow and arrow of Apollo, or the bow and arrow of Sagittarius. Lynn: It could also be sin mm. Yeah, it could also be foreshadowing that the next fire sign with Sagittarius. He's now the last Luigi: Sagittarius, yeah. Lynn: we're in a last decan of Leo, next fire is Sagittarius. Adriana: With. Lynn: So that could also be that. Luigi: Yeah, yeah. Lynn: Maybe when maybe cover more of the hermetic actually, maybe we will see other little Easter eggs for the last decans. Maybe because we're not actually Luigi: That's even that's even Amelie: We could. Lynn: not that familiar with it, but we just taken it up. Amelie: the little Luigi: That's even more poignant though. Lynn: I in our little Luigi: That's even more poignant, because you know when you when we looked at the hermetic Adriana: you Luigi: card and we looked at the bottom of the staff, and we saw the possible Mars symbol. If Lynn: Mm. This one? Yeah. Luigi: we again stretch our imagination, that sphere at the bottom with the arrow on top can look like the inverse globe of dominion than the emperor holds, and that would be a reference to the previous fire sign Aries. Almost yeah, almost like you have the the Lynn: Arius. Yes. Easter eggs. Luigi: Yeah, yeah, you got a Leo presence in the card, and then you got foreshadow the past and the future, if you will, at the bottom and at the top. That would be Lynn: Mm. Luigi: a cool I mean I we'll never know, we'll have to dig in and do a seance with the creators of this deck, but Lynn: okay, we have to put up the emperor maybe 'cause in the five because then in the five of wands it would make sense if there is some sort of a residue of Aries or the Emperor and I'm not sure he's having a sickle in the other hand, but that would be the only thing that I'm seeing in this one. So otherwise I'm not. Adriana: But I think as a relationship, Luigi: Mm-hmm. Adriana: suppose because of their fire elements. there are Aries Luigi: Mm-hmm. Adriana: the cardinal, Leo the fixed, and Sagittarius mutable. So it must be a correlation because all of them are fire symbols, isn't it? Luigi: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I think f Adriana: So there might be a relationship in the card, maybe. Lynn: Mm. Luigi: yeah yeah, but I think for our benefit and for the benefit of anybody listening, it's not like you know we're all very keen to find out and learn and discover, but I think a major kick that I personally get from all of it it's purely the hypothesis, you know. I don't necessarily need to know the concrete all fixed factual statement and what what not. If it comes, the more the merrier. But I think 'cause there's so much to work on and there's so much that you need to lean on through your imagination. That i if we're really you know, if you're if we're waiting for the factual delivery of the answer for every single question that we pose in tarot, we'll be waiting with our saliva c collapsing from our mouth until the end of our days. Lynn: Ha Luigi: So yeah, no, but I I get a kick out of all of these possible hypotheses, especially for a deck that none of us Lynn: Speaking of Luigi: are truly familiar with, you know. Lynn: speaking of saliva and wanting to see stuff, we can't if you go to the Golden Dawn one and look at that because this is again slightly different from Luigi: Mm. Lynn: the other ones. If you would like to bring that up, Amelie, to the screen. Amelie: I was just literally checking because now when you said bow and Lynn: Mm. Amelie: arrow my brain is bow and arrow so I had to put it in. It says that it denotes Mars in Leo and symbolizing aggressive fire, precise targeting and the courage needed to defend one's position against conflict which makes a lot of sense as well. Luigi: Mm-hmm. Adriana: . Lynn: It does, doesn't it? Amelie: which I really like when we rabbit hole into these little things because sometimes it feels like we come up with 10 different things that are very deep and profound Lynn: Yeah. Amelie: and then you look it up and it's very just basic and I it's yes exactly Adriana: Hahaha! Lynn: As typical though. It's very typical. Often the the simplest thing is the actual thing. But i Luigi: It's very humbling. Lynn: it makes your mind go, so nothing bad about that. Luigi: It's very humbling. Amelie: Exactly, I love that. But yes, Lynn: Mm-hmm. Amelie: here is the golden dawn. Lynn: Right. So to describe it for people who are not actually seeing it, like in the six and I think in the five as well, we have the green hands. Right, go to Amelie: they better tune in on on YouTube then. We've got the goblin hands again. Lynn: the goblin hands, the green hands, supposedly angel hands holding the staffs or the wands, and now we're having a third hand, presumably then by a different person, a different angel, and that is holding up the one in the middle. Adriana: Mm. Luigi: Mm. Lynn: we're having the colors of yellow as background right behind all the red wands and the well outskirts of the yellow is a deep Adriana: So. Lynn: red as well. And then we having the symbol of Mars and Leo. And I don't think we've mentioned it, The card is also called Lord a Lady of Valor, both in the Thoth and in the Golden Dawn. Amelie: and they're hermetic as well. Lord of Valor. Lynn: The hermetic, yes, with a lord of valor. so yeah, this is our this is our golden dawn one. Again, very colourful as always. thoughts? Mm. Amelie: I guess it's very similar to the Thoth deck and Hermetic as per usual, minus the hands I guess. Lynn: Yeah, in a way. Luigi: And I think Adriana: Yes. Luigi: the presence of the three hands bring it's perfect's a perfect introduction to something that I wanted to share about the Seven of Wands. But I might need Lynn might need your image of the tree, if that's possible. Because I think Lynn: Yes, of course. Luigi: we talked about this in the past, but the seven of ones is one of my favorite cards but for many reasons. But one particular reason we Because now we have the three hands as well, one coming from the pillar of force, one coming from the pillar of form, meeting each other in the middle, and the one holding the pillar of spirituality in the middle. and Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: I think that's poignant again because we got the seven of wands. So we got the number seven representing well the energy of Netzach and Venus, and then we have Adriana: Yeah. Luigi: the deconic rulership of Mars, and we have the decanic astrological. presence and rulership of Leo. And what those are, obviously they are the middle paths in the hermetic tree of life. So we know that we have the twenty seventh path with Mars, the Tower. Then we have the nineteenth path with the Lust card or the strength card, which will be the Leo card. And on the very top top top we have the fourteenth, I believe, path with the Empress, Venus. Lynn: Yes. The empress here. Yeah. Adriana: Mm-hmm. Luigi: So I this always this cabalistically this has always been a very fascinating card because cabalistically it's encoded in the middle paths that unite the tree, almost as if indicating that the true valor is again to bring harmony, to unite, to bring equilibrium. And if I can take it even a step further If any of us can hold because I don't have any visuals for me, unfortunately, but if any of us can hold the lust card if you have it at some point in the camera. But this principle of yeah, Lynn: Yes. Of course. There we go. Luigi: thank you. So this principle of the Seven of Wands representing the three paths that unite the pillars, it's also present in the lust card, even the strength card to some extent. But so if we stretch our imagination in the lust card. Babylon, she is holding the cup of life, the cup itself, representing possibly representing the Empress, representing the path of the Empress at the very least. And then if we descend in the card, the next figure will be Babylon herself, representing the lust card herself, representing the Leo energy herself. Whether the creature underneath, whether it's a lion, a chimera, or the seven palaces of Assyria, who knows now by this point. When we cover the lust card we may go into more detail. But the lion or the creature at least representing now the tower and the martial energy. So even in the lust card somewhat, this code of unity, harmony that is meant to inspire valor is present, is included. Lynn: Wow, that was that was amazing. what more can we say when we cover the lust card? We'll just repeat it, I think. No, that is Yeah, yeah, we'll bring everything Adriana: hahahahah Luigi: Well we'll have to bring this back when we cover the last card but Lynn: back. We thought we it seems like we really like to talk about this card, you and I, Luigi. Luigi: No, but it again it it makes sense because Lynn: But yeah, yeah, that was good, great insight. Luigi: obviously every single major is equally beautiful and every single minor is equally beautiful, but again, beauty, again, intentionally speaking, Tiphareth, isn't it? This this the heart of the tree, possibly the real truth of the tree, maybe the truth of the universe, and Tiphareth being ruled by the sun, and Leo being the child or the father, whatever role we want to assign to it. Or at least the birth of the sun, and so displaying or embodying or inspiring all of those principles that live within Tiphareth and therefore giving an extra special flavour, shall we say, to the five, the six and the seven of wands. But the seven of wands more so than ever, given the fact that we have this secret code of the uniting paths within the tree. Or at least the hermetic tree. Lynn: So much we could just end here. But we haven't Luigi: Ha ha ha. Lynn: we haven't do you have your colours ready Luigi, just in case? Luigi: Yeah, so well the purple is always relevant because that's the Lynn: Because yeah. Luigi: Briatic color of the path. Lynn: Yeah, right. Luigi: then I think again, forgive my colour blindness, but like the stuff, the central one, which by the way I only just realized i if you again stretch the imagination of the middle stuff, you can divide it in ten sections. Like the Adriana: Bye. Luigi: ten sephirot, obviously. Lynn: I never counted how many sections, but that Luigi: Like again, stretching the imagination, but it's you can divide it in ten little sections of the main staff. Lynn: Yeah, it's ten. Yeah. Yeah. It is. Luigi: and I think it's either orange or amber and both colours apply. Again, I'm colorblind somewhat, so I can't tell. But Lynn: Mm. Luigi: orange I think let me check. orange would be the Atziluthian colour of Geburah, Lynn: Mm. Luigi: which represents Mars, obviously. But amber would be the Atziluthian colour of Netzach, which is where we are in the Seven of Wands. and then obviously the other colours The blue of the lotus it's you know connecting to the divine feminine. we have more amber or orange, we'll never find out in the Phoenix. But orange again is a very solar color as well, is also the colour of the Atziluthian colour of the sun. And then you have the red of the wand of the chief adept. And that the red is obviously martial, the red is also fiery. all of these colours we got present here. I I particularly enjoy the like I love the purple or the violet. again, colorblindness Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: apologies of the six of wands, definitely. But I bel I feel at least especially in in your deck, Amelie, I feel like in the Seven of Wands is even more alive, like pulsing almost Lynn: Yeah. It's just so dark. Like yeah, it's it's like an evolution of the intensity maybe as well. It's Luigi: Hm. Lynn: very like everything is kind of light and and and, you know, here and then it gets really intense and woooh in this one. Mm. Luigi: Intense like love. Amelie: Yeah, the colors in this deck are quite intense. They're quite vibrant. That's why I like it. So they stand out quite a lot. Which might help you Luigi: Hmm. Yeah, definitely deeply Amelie: with the color blindness, you know. Luigi: I don't think anybody Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: can ever help me with that. I I need to wait for my next life and then I'll get maybe a new set of eyes. Amelie: you Lynn: Yes, you get more light sensitive eyes to help with the colors. Amelie: So the yellow in the Golden Dawn deck, it says that the yellow is amber or deep yellow, which would make sense with the Thoth deck. Lynn: Hm. Amelie: It says this is the colour of the reconciler arbitrating on behalf of Valor. Luigi: So the Reconciler, that's one of the titles for Tiphareth which would be Amelie: yeah. Luigi: where we which would be yes where we come from, you know, from the Six of Wands, but also obviously like we said, the ruler, or at least astrologically speaking, the ruler of Leo. And so therefore the ruler of the series Lynn: Hm, the sun, yeah. Hmm. Hmm. Luigi: of the decans of Leo. Lynn: Yeah. Awesome. Any last words? Amelie: I'm trying to look at the splotchiness of this one. Remember we spoke about this last time and I'm thinking what do I see? What do I see? It's kind of like this. What do they call these tests now? These. Was it called LACMAS? Lynn: Yes. I was I was thinking about it but the yes I don't but the blotch tests. Yeah, but with the you mean Adriana: What do you see there? A butterfly or what? Lynn: Is it a butterfly? Is it two people kissing? Is it a murder scene? Adriana: You Amelie: I see a murder scene. Lynn: Of course you do. Luigi: What I find interesting as well, it might Amelie: Mmm. Luigi: be something that repeats itself in many other cards, but I always seem to at least perceive it more in the sevens. Like all of the sevens they seem to have strong echoes of the sixes. and that's very interesting, something for us to meditate, ponder and discuss and hypothesize because obviously that's something that it could be relevant to every single card, but like I said, it feels like the Consequences and by consequences I simply mean the cause and effect between Tiphareth and Netzach, they seem to be almost key, you know, like something that something that truly what's the word that I'm looking for? Emphasizes or highlights the particular part of the journey that one is on within the tarot or at least within the tree. How each one, regardless of whether you're going up or down, so regardless of whether you're seeking enlightenment or manifestation, each one inherently depends on cause and effect from each from the other. I say this because on top of the color yellow that we covered and the red and the green, unless again my colour blindness is tricking me, the borders Amelie of the Seven of Wands in the in the Golden Dawn. There is a s smidge of pink, I think. Amelie: Yep, there you have it. Luigi: Yeah. Amelie: See, you're not colorblind at all. Adriana: You Lynn: Mm-hmm. Luigi: So i i it comes and goes, isn't it? but yeah, like that smidge of pink combined with the yellow. Very Tiphareth isn't it? Like 'cause pink I think it's a Atziluthian colour for Tiphareth and yellow will be in the Briatic colour of it. Amelie: Hmm. Luigi: it's almost like saying like remember where you come from or Simba, remember who you are. you know. So the there's a strong sense of echo when I look at it. Amelie: You're right, because in the six of the wands we had, pink was the whole background. Luigi: Hmm. Yeah, something to reflect on. Amelie: I keep looking at the Smith deck because I feel like I haven't been, I've been looking at the other ones, but I haven't really looked at this one. But then I realized there's not much more to say about it. I think it's, Adriana: hahahaha Amelie: I think it's, what I thought it was interesting was that in all the other cards, you have the threes and the threes, but here you have the twos and twos and twos. almost like together in twos. Luigi: Mm. Amelie: Which basically means everyone has been coupled up but you are standing alone. Good for you. Kill them all. It's you against the world. You against the world, baby. Lynn: Two times three. Hmm. Says the Aquarius. Good for you. Standing alone against the rest. Keep going. Adriana: Me against the world. Luigi: Ha ha ha. Lynn: Well all right, well, thank you everybody for for joining and listening, tuning in. as always like subscribe comment if you like this thank you for your support means a lot to us and catch Adriana: Thank you for the coffees that you have sent us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Lynn: Yes. Thanks for the coffees. Luigi: Yeah, thank you so much. Lynn: You can buy us a coffee in the Amelie: Thank you. Lynn: in the link below.
