  to talk about God and his nature, and we're going to

  answer some questions that a lot of Christians either refuse to
• 1:39
  answer, or they answer inappropriately, or they answer

  dead wrong. I'll give you an example of

  something. Have you ever heard the remark

  God loves the Sinner but hates the sin?

  That's actually nowhere in the Bible.

  You won't find that. In fact, if you look in Psalms

  55 it says God hates all workers of iniquity.

  That means that he personally hates anyone out there that
• 2:09
  sins. Did you also know that a lot of
• 2:13
  Christians push this idea that God loves everybody, that he's
• 2:17
  all loving? Did you know that in the Bible
• 2:21
  there is not one phrase where it actually says that God is all
• 2:25
  loving? Now, there are passages that say
• 2:28
  that God is love. He's the very nature of love.

  It clearly says that His only begotten Son so loved the world.

  God gave his only begotten Son. All this for sure.

  And there's many, many passages where God shows mercy and He
• 2:47
  shows love. But does God love everybody?

  Does he have favorites? Is he selective about who he
• 2:58
  loves? Well, if you ask any Calvinist

  out there or Catholic, they'll probably tell you right away.

  Yeah, God selects some for heaven and predestined, some for
• 3:09
  hell, and they actually believe in the hell in which you're
• 3:13
  screaming and being punished for all eternity and tortured.

  You're predestined. You're destined for that.

  That doesn't sound much like love, does it?

  But that's what the Calvinists and the Catholics hold on to.

  As many of you know, I'm an annihilationist.

  I don't believe any of you will be tortured by God or the devil

  or demons. I believe your soul will be
• 3:38
  annihilated, obliterated, absolutely destroyed.

  There's probably going to be some pain and suffering in the

  process of losing your entire identity and being wiped from
• 3:50
  existence, and no telling how much time it's going to take for
• 3:54
  that process to go through. Could be a Millennium, could be

  5 seconds. I don't know how long it takes

  for a soul to be completely reach its final epitome or goal

  of second death. It is what it is.

  We have passages in the Bible like what is it Jacob?

  It was either Jacob or Esau. Jacob I love the Esau I hated

  even as he was in the womb before the guy even stepped out

  into the world and was ready to, you know, enjoy life.

  God already hated him. The Bible actually tells you in

  Psalms as well as Isaiah that evil doers start from the womb.

  Did you know that? It actually says that evil doers

  actually come from the womb of their mothers.

  It's not that they carry the sins over of their parents or

  something like that, or some kind of generational leap of

  sin. It says that God knows

  beforehand who's going to end up an evil bastard and who's not.

  Some people are going to ask, well, where's the fairness in

  that? Where's the justice of God

  already knows that some people are going to be born bastards

  and some are not. I noticed something about God.

  He tends to allow our lives to play through the free will.

  Obviously is important to give us all our choice and

  everything, and within his framework we do.

  So I'm a compatibilist. It means I believe some things

  are predestined and some things are allowed free will.

  And I describe it as a video game.

  Although the game has been programmed and there's all these
• 5:46
  set goals and quests and accomplishments to be had.

  You are the avatar and you control how the character plays
• 5:55
  the game. But in the end, the final you
• 5:58
  know boss is going to end up game over.

  No matter what you do, no matter how good of a player you are, no

  matter you know how bad or good you are, it's always going to
• 6:10
  end in game over. That's how all games work.

  But you have the choice to enjoy it or play it the way you want
• 6:17
  to while you're still, you know, on your first life.

  So, yeah, it does appear in the Bible, right?

  God selects certain disciples to walk with him.
• 6:32
  God chooses certain people in the Bible to actually write his
• 6:36
  Scripture. He could have chose for millions
• 6:40
  of people, but he chose certain people.

  He selected them. He favored them.

  It says that King David was a man of his own heart.

  So yeah, God does favor. He does have favoritism.

  He is selective. And whether you're a Calvinist

  or not, you have to agree with that.

  God does have the ability to hate.

  On my community post, I posted over 20 verses where it shows

  that God clearly says that he hates.

  He hates injustice. He hates.

  He hates it when people are unfair to each other.

  He hates it when religious people pretend to be good but

  then behind the scenes they're absolute hypocrites or they

  abuse religion. He hates that he doesn't like

  traditions. There's a lot of things that God

  doesn't like, and he said his laws and rules in motion aren't
• 7:40
  what he expects to be followed. And for some reason, there's a
• 7:44
  lot of religious people out there nowadays who think that
• 7:47
  after 90% of a book written over 1000 years, suddenly the New
• 7:53
  Testament comes along and they think that this this somehow
• 7:57
  gets them off the hook of laws and commandments.

  But Jesus says if you love me, you'll keep my commandments and
• 8:06
  laws forever. And in the Book of Revelation it
• 8:08
  states that you will be judged and you will be condemned, not
• 8:13
  just based upon your faith, but also your works and also if you
• 8:18
  are a worker of iniquity. Now what's a worker of iniquity?

  Worker of iniquity is a lawless person, a person who breaks the
• 8:26
  commandments and laws. If you break the commandments
• 8:29
  and laws and you disobey God, then that equals out Sinner.

  Can God forgive you? Will God forgive you?

  Well, it depends. Did you just sit around all day
• 8:42
  claiming to be a good Christian but didn't do deck to make
• 8:46
  anybody's lives better? Did you really love your
• 8:50
  neighbor? Did you really love your enemy?

  Did you really do unto others as you want done unto yourself, or

  did you talk a big game? Did you sit with a group of

  people and kiss each other's ass and pat each other in the back

  like the teacher's pet? Or did you actually go out and

  do something? Did you feed the homeless?

  Did you help people who were thirsty?

  Or did you find every justification and reason why you

  should condemn people and then use the Bible to beat the shit

  out of them with it? Well, those are all questions.

  You know in your heart. You know your heart.

  God knows your heart. I don't know your heart, but you

  know where you're going. You know where your destination

  is when the game's over. I don't have to remind you and

  tell you. Many of you will feel the

  conviction and you know it. Some of you probably already

  feel the conviction as we speak. So yeah, can God do something

  such as, is God all powerful? Well, the Bible's very clear

  that God is. There's a lot of passages that

  indicate that God's power is damn near unlimited.

  You know, when I say damn near unlimited, what I mean is that

  God is not going to do things that defy logic.

  He's not going to do things that are going to break the very
• 10:17
  concept of his laws. He's not going to create

  consistent laws, especially of nature, and then go around

  breaking them. Now some people will say, well

  it wouldn't it be supernatural if he intervened or he
• 10:33
  interacted. Not so much.

  If someone prays out to God and they ask God for some kind of
• 10:40
  help, God can use his will to work through other people in
• 10:45
  order to do things. God can actually put thoughts or
• 10:49
  ideas into people or put you in a position where instead of
• 10:55
  going left, you go right. It's not that he's controlling
• 10:58
  you or moving you around, but God knows how to put obstacles
• 11:03
  up that may make you go a different direction.

  All throughout the Bible, God did that where he would put
• 11:10
  obstacle after obstacle. He did it to the Pharaoh in
• 11:13
  Egypt, obstacle after obstacle, 10 signs.

  But the pharaoh wouldn't stop. The Pharaoh continued to push
• 11:22
  forward until finally God got tired of his ass and crushed him
• 11:26
  with the Red Sea or the ocean, whatever you want to call it.

  So there's that. Some people might ask, does can

  God love you and so allow suffering?

  Yeah, I think that suffering it for me.

  I've went through a lot of suffering in my life.

  I've went through unbelievable amount of abuse and pain.

  And I can tell you that when I see it happening to other

  people, I'm more empathetic, I'm more sympathetic.

  I put myself in people's shoes. It makes me because of what I

  went through, it makes me more relatable and identifiable where

  I can help other people and understand where they're coming

  from. I think that going through

  suffering, dealing with death, dealing with loss, dealing with
• 12:22
  knowing what it feels like to have pain, you can appreciate
• 12:28
  life whenever you know what it feels like, whenever you're
• 12:31
  having a good day or when things are going great.

  I really think that in order for you to appreciate the concept of
• 12:38
  good and love, you have to know what it's like to have your
• 12:41
  heart broken. You have to know what it's like
• 12:44
  to be betrayed or abandoned if you don't know those things, and
• 12:48
  you won't cherish love so much. And it's the same with good and
• 12:52
  evil. If you've seen evil over and
• 12:55
  over. I think that sometimes God lets
• 12:57
  us get hit over and over and over by evil for a lesson, for a
• 13:04
  teaching. For me, when I see evil, I do as
• 13:08
  the Bible says, I get sickened by it.

  I am sickened by wickedness. When I see injustice, when I see
• 13:16
  corruption, when I see filth going on, when I see liars and
• 13:21
  deceivers, it makes me absolutely sick.

  I do not want to be in the same proximity of that.

  So when I finally get to heaven, if I managed to make it, it's
• 13:34
  the perfect place for me because I don't want to be around
• 13:37
  disgusting filth and scumbags. You understand?

  How can God be loving even if he's not all loving?

  How can He still be loving but still be responsible for
• 13:52
  destroying people or sending people to hell and all this kind
• 13:56
  of stuff? Well, again, I'm an
• 13:58
  annihilationist, so I believe that the souls are destroyed.

  And second of all, I think that people make the choice.

  They say to themselves, I don't want to obey God.

  Well, if I invite you into my home and you reject me, you tell

  me I don't believe in you, I don't have faith in you, I don't

  want to come in, break bread with you and have dinner.

  Then the most logical thing I'm going to do as a person is I'm

  going to shut the door in your face and tell you to move on.

  And then you're going to go do your thing and whatever bullshit

  happens to you happens. It's not my problem anymore.

  And I think that that's basically how God is putting it.

  It's like one day the world is going to end, and if you don't

  stick with me, then I can't sustain your life.

  Because God is the very battery of life.

  If you're out of his presence and you're separated from him,

  you're not going to be able to have the blessing of life, the

  breath of life anymore. You'll simply die and you won't

  be conscious anymore. It's not a punishment.

  It's not him being mean to you, but if you don't want to be with

  God, then you can't live. It's like a if you got a Walkman

  or something that operates on batteries.

  If you separate the batteries from the equipment, it's going

  to cease to function. It will perish.

  It cannot work as it was supposed to without the energy

  and power that God provides. You understand.

  So in that way you can see that it's really you.

  It's you who has a choice. Do you want to stay connected

  and continue to live forever or do you want to die?

  Do you want to be dead, bad or is left in a dark drawer forever
