- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Hi, and welcome to this episode of Assassin's Sips Spotlight.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I'm Lisa, and today I'm sipping on fancy water because I have to work later.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: My supervisor's kind of uh anyway.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: I can vouch.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: I'm Agnes, and I'm also drinking on fancy water because I had to adult after this.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: So it was kind of hard to drive an adult under the influence.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: Hard, I didn't say impossible.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Also a little bit illegal.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: So that that's I mean, that's just that's just the part that I'm mostly against because it'll be.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: And then and onto other news.
- 1:14SPEAKER_06: I'm like, oh man.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Special.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, real special, like little yellow bus special.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Today we're talking with Ryan, who is here to talk about the I don't know, I guess you would call it like the experience of your your culture and the things that are going on kind of currently, like the Iranian war, the immigration stuff.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And so we appreciate you being here and and to be willing to talk about stuff like that.
- 1:57SPEAKER_04: Well, thank you for having me.
- 2:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm Ryan.
- 2:01SPEAKER_04: Uh I'm sipping on Zero Sugar Monster, White Monster to be exact.
- 2:11SPEAKER_04: I mean sugar free.
- 2:17SPEAKER_04: And I am sitting right outside of work right now.
- 2:20SPEAKER_04: I'll be working with Lisa later, so cheers.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Cheers.
- 2:28SPEAKER_04: No, I cannot.
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: But yeah, no, uh, thank you for having me.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, so being sorry I'm a little bit about myself.
- 2:39SPEAKER_04: I'm 29.
- 2:41SPEAKER_04: Uh I am first generation um Iranian American.
- 2:45SPEAKER_04: So my parents came to the US when they were young, my dad especially, he was the first one to come.
- 2:52SPEAKER_04: Uh and yeah, like it wasn't easy growing up, especially because I was growing up in Hunterdon County, so that's predominantly Republican, predominantly white, um and very rural, where it's very country farmland.
- 3:15SPEAKER_04: So growing up there was a bit of a challenge, but I do have to admit it did shake me to the person I am today.
- 3:26SPEAKER_04: So I am grateful for having those types of experiences, but at the same time, I would not wish anyone to go through what I had to go through.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Did your parents um they came, I guess, around 1979?
- 3:42SPEAKER_04: Uh so my my dad, he's 74 right now.
- 3:47SPEAKER_04: He was born in '56, and he came here when he was twenty.
- 3:53SPEAKER_04: So it was like 76, yeah.
- 3:56SPEAKER_04: Around there.
- 3:57SPEAKER_04: He was the first one to come.
- 3:59SPEAKER_04: Uh he went to NYU, uh, studied uh aerospace engineering, so he's uh crew chief for American Airlines.
- 4:09SPEAKER_04: He's been with them for well over 50 years now.
- 4:12SPEAKER_04: Uh, and he was the one that ended up bringing my grandparents from Iran, his brothers, um, and then my mom and him were an arranged marriage.
- 4:24SPEAKER_04: But so Iran is a little bit different.
- 4:27SPEAKER_04: They do arrange marriages, but it's more so forced.
- 4:31SPEAKER_04: But my dad was kind of different.
- 4:32SPEAKER_04: He was telling he told everyone in his family, he was sending letters to my mom saying, Listen, I want you to meet me.
- 4:39SPEAKER_04: I don't want you to feel pressured into marrying me.
- 4:42SPEAKER_04: If you think we have the connection, then okay, we can get married.
- 4:45SPEAKER_04: But if not, then no hard feelings.
- 4:48SPEAKER_04: And they were actually kind of like family friends for a while, and they do have a 15-year age gap with each other.
- 4:56SPEAKER_04: So he did manage to bring her, they got married in Istanbul.
- 5:00SPEAKER_04: Uh then he brought him brought her to the US and the rest is history now.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: And they have you.
- 5:08SPEAKER_04: Yep, the youngest of the family, the only boy, too.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Are you the youngest?
- 5:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I am the youngest, yeah.
- 5:15SPEAKER_04: I have an older sister, and then I have a half sister as well that's older than both of us.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: Look at you, you're the baby and the boy.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: Oh, I know you were spoiled.
- 5:25SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 5:28SPEAKER_04: 100%.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: So we always forget this part.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: We have our little icebreaker and it's our silly question.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: So you are in the hot seat.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Are you prepared for the silliest of the silliest questions?
- 5:46SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, trust me.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Not for the week, it's not for the faint of heart.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:50SPEAKER_04: I'm ready.
- 5:51unknown: Okay.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: So my silly question is are you ready?
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: What is your favorite inappropriate joke?
- 6:00SPEAKER_04: Ooh.
- 6:02SPEAKER_04: Oh man.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: And if you can't say it for the public assumption, we would definitely bleep it out, but I need to know it.
- 6:13SPEAKER_06: I'll give you I'll give you two of the two.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: One good, one that we can't air.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Got it.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I think both of those have to be cut.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I think they both have to be cut.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I think I can hear all the church people coming right now.
- 6:35SPEAKER_03: Patreon special.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: We are definitely being canceled, and I'm love I'm living for it.
- 6:42unknown: Oh god.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh wow.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: You have a different question.
- 6:47SPEAKER_04: I I I my my middle school and high school revolved around dead baby jokes.
- 6:52SPEAKER_04: So that's why I I have a lot of those.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Totally different generation, I guess.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Think of another one.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: I can't have my question answered.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: What about this?
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: What is your favorite joke?
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Non-inappropriate.
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: Oh, favorite joke, not inappropriate.
- 7:15SPEAKER_04: Ah, that's gonna be tough.
- 7:16SPEAKER_04: Give me a second, let me think.
- 7:18SPEAKER_04: Jeez.
- 7:19SPEAKER_04: Oh shit, that money's that's bad.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: So it's not inappropriate, you don't have it.
- 7:26SPEAKER_04: Basically, I'm like trying to think of any like if I have any good dad jokes, no.
- 7:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I really all my jokes are really inappropriate and like kind of cancel culture related.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: Lisa, do you have a favorite joke?
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: No.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, you guys are so weird.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Okay, I got one.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: And I tell everyone this joke and they think I'm stupid.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: Have you heard the story about Midas and Oedipus?
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: No.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: It was motherfucking gold.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Now that we know your favorite joke.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Look at it, Oedipus, motherfuck.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, okay.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: It was gold, Midas.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: I always get that look.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: No one finds that funny but me.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, it it is funny, but like I've heard you tell it like worth it.
- 8:28SPEAKER_04: I think I got one.
- 8:29SPEAKER_04: It's not gonna be a joke, but do you guys you guys remember Dexter, right?
- 8:32SPEAKER_04: The TV show.
- 8:34SPEAKER_04: You remember that one scene, surprise motherfucker.
- 8:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:38SPEAKER_04: I just keep seeing memes all over the place.
- 8:40SPEAKER_04: It's like surprise motherfucker.
- 8:42SPEAKER_04: Some fries, motherfucker.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: I want fries now.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Excuse me.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: You guys continue while I go find some fries.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, what's your silly question?
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: When it's cold, what is warmer?
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: Sweatpants or jeans?
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: And why are you about to say sweatpants?
- 9:11SPEAKER_04: Oh my god, you read my mind.
- 9:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, sweatpants.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Sweatpants.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: But your jeans jeans are obviously warmer.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: You know, actually sweatpants.
- 9:22SPEAKER_04: Actually, you know what?
- 9:24SPEAKER_04: I do actually have to agree with you now that I'm thinking about it.
- 9:28SPEAKER_04: Because when I came back from my trip and we were in JFK, it was like 40 degrees.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
- 9:34SPEAKER_04: My lower half was nice and warm, my upper half was freezing.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: Well, you had a t-shirt on.
- 9:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so you are right, actually, because when I was doing door-to-door and when I was at JFK, so JFK, I wore a pair of jeans.
- 9:48SPEAKER_04: I gave my wife my jacket because she left hers in the car before we left, and she was like, Oh, I'm gonna wear it in case it's cold.
- 9:56SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, why are you leaving it in the car then?
- 9:58SPEAKER_04: But okay, that's not my that uh whatever.
- 10:02SPEAKER_04: So I gave her my jacket.
- 10:05SPEAKER_04: Jeans are actually a lot warmer than sweatpants because I would wear that door to door as well.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, everybody always has like sweatpants, and I'm like, Yeah, sweatpants are cozy and nice, but like, but then when the wind blows, you feel everything on your legs.
- 10:19SPEAKER_04: It depends though, because like jeans are dry sweatpants.
- 10:23SPEAKER_04: I was just gonna say fleece-line sweatpants, you're gonna stay nice and warm, but then you got fleece line jeans, so you could just it's like that cat's 22.
- 10:32SPEAKER_04: But yeah, no, I I would have to say jeans, actually.
- 10:35SPEAKER_04: I would say jeans.
- 10:37SPEAKER_04: I don't wear jeans that much ever since I like started going into electrical school.
- 10:41SPEAKER_04: I've been wearing jeans more, but I used to always be like sweatpants 100%.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: I mean they're comfortable for sure.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, I definitely don't find them to be warm, like warmer.
- 10:55SPEAKER_04: Warmer, no.
- 10:56SPEAKER_04: And fun fact, actually, adding extra layers doesn't make you warmer.
- 11:01SPEAKER_04: It actually makes you colder because your body isn't insulated as much.
- 11:05SPEAKER_04: So, like, if you wear like thermals, sweatpants, and a pair of jeans, you're actually gonna be more cold than just wearing like thermals and jeans.
- 11:14SPEAKER_04: It's very strange how that works.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Because your body's regulating itself because it's overheated, so it's gonna lower your body temperature so you don't get overheated.
- 11:24SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Same way a hot shower is good in the summer because it's lowering your internal body temperature.
- 11:30SPEAKER_04: And then when you stand outside, it's nice and cold.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, but then why do we bother wearing coats in the winter?
- 11:37SPEAKER_04: Because coats, it's like windproof, too.
- 11:40SPEAKER_04: It's like coats prevent the wind from hitting you.
- 11:44SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about my coat is a shower curtain, but you know, like a shower curtain outside.
- 11:52SPEAKER_04: Hey, a shower curtain, when you're in the shower during the summertime, taking a hot shower, you step outside, it is colder than it was in the shower.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course.
- 12:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know where I was going with that, but yeah.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Fun fact.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Listen, the next time the next time your ass is cold, I'm gonna be like, I don't know, maybe you should not be wearing so many layers.
- 12:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, just strip in the middle of Starbucks.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Maybe maybe your manager will tell you to keep his shirt on, like he told me.
- 12:28SPEAKER_06: So Oh Lord.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: So you know it's bad when the dudes are like, keep your shirt on.
- 12:37SPEAKER_04: That was that was a funny comment.
- 12:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he did not know how to respond to that.
- 12:43SPEAKER_04: People trying to park makes me anxious too.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: Especially when they're parking next to my car.
- 13:13SPEAKER_02: I'm like, if you know how to drive, you need to not park, you need to just go somewhere.
- 13:17SPEAKER_04: Especially the ones that like have to back in and out when they're pulling into a spot.
- 13:21SPEAKER_04: I'm like, are you really that bad at driving?
- 13:27SPEAKER_06: Apparently.
- 13:30SPEAKER_04: Oh man.
- 13:32SPEAKER_04: I'm liking this so far.
- 13:34SPEAKER_04: This is fun.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: You have fun people.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know Lisa, she's kind of fun.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: I'm moderately fun, so it works out.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: The balance she's she's my hype woman.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: I keep her around because she flatters me.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: That's all I that's my my that's her holder drain as we're walking down the street.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: Love it.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: Oh it's because I'm black, right now.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Obviously.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: That's why I picked you.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: Hello?
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Because that's she wasn't done right.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: That's correct.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: When we were when we were eight, yes, that's that's why I picked you.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Because I knew all of that stuff.
- 14:16SPEAKER_04: Oh, yes, yes.
- 14:18SPEAKER_04: It's the household that you grew up in, they taught you well.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: She goes, she saw Grand The Win at eight, I'm sure.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Now Yeah, I think you already know the answer to that question.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: You saw no movies.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: I have I have not seen that movie.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: You haven't seen anything, but that's okay.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: I've never seen anything, right?
- 14:38SPEAKER_04: I will admit, I have never I don't see like color when it comes to like people and races, because my sister is half Guyanese and half Iranian, and she's the one that like kind of babysat us and like helped my mom raise us when we were younger.
- 14:54SPEAKER_04: So like I I just don't see color like everyone else does.
- 14:59SPEAKER_04: I just see people, and like I'm like, if you're an asshole, fuck you.
- 15:02SPEAKER_04: If you're nice to me, hey, we're cool with chills.
- 15:05SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 15:05SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 15:06SPEAKER_04: I don't care.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: Right, that's it.
- 15:07SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be black, white, yellow, red, green, whatever.
- 15:10SPEAKER_02: That's a positive spin on my take.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: I hate everyone.
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: Yes, facts, and then if I like anyone, it's individual basis, but I'm I don't like you until I like you.
- 15:22SPEAKER_04: So exactly, yeah.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: It gave me so much problems.
- 15:26SPEAKER_04: I don't have time for drama, I don't have time for bullshit.
- 15:30SPEAKER_04: So, like, if you're gonna cause me drama and bullshit, I don't care what you are, who you are, get out of my life.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: But the funny thing is, I hate everyone, but of the two of us, I'm the I am Lisa calls me superficially friendly because I'll sit there and I have a whole conversation with someone, and Lisa's like, what are you talking about?
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: I was like, I don't fucking know, and I don't care.
- 15:52SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't know what the oh yeah.
- 15:54SPEAKER_04: Oh, that sounds so great.
- 15:56SPEAKER_04: I'm so happy for it.
- 15:57SPEAKER_04: That that fake customer service boys that know.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: Meanwhile, Lisa's standing back there actually paying attention, and I'm just like, I don't know what the fuck they would talk about.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Um you can't let people go a drive-thru.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: You can't go walk in a supermarket.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Everyone, hi, how are you, honey?
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: Hi, sweetheart, hi, hi.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: She'll I'm all I'll be on the phone with her.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: She'll pull up to a drive-thru and I'll be like, hi hon, how are you?
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: And she's like, shut up.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Because I'm like saying the exact same thing as she's saying it.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: It's like her script.
- 16:25SPEAKER_06: I love it.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: I just, you know, I'm trying to be nice.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: You can be nice by saying thank you.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: But if I'm friendly, but you know what?
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: It doesn't take it, it doesn't take that much energy for me to do it.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: Who cares?
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: I think that at this point you couldn't stop if you wanted to.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: No, and that's how I got out of my ticket.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: I got out of I was accidentally speeding.
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: And I was like, accidentally speeding.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: Honestly, it was an accident.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: I didn't realize I was going 15 over because it changed the they changed the fucking limit because of construction.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: I didn't realize it.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Anyway, I'm like, oh my god, sorry.
- 16:59SPEAKER_02: I didn't realize whatever you need to do.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Here's my ID, here's all the they're like, yeah, don't worry about it.
- 17:05SPEAKER_04: I was like, oh I've been pulled over 11 times.
- 17:09SPEAKER_04: Huh?
- 17:09SPEAKER_04: I've been I've been pulled over 11 times.
- 17:12SPEAKER_04: I've gotten two tickets, a seatbelt ticket and a failure to yield.
- 17:16SPEAKER_04: Meanwhile, I was going like 40 over the speed limit.
- 17:20SPEAKER_04: Uh I remember one time I was with my wife who was my girlfriend at the time, and I had some uh paraphernalia in the car.
- 17:29SPEAKER_04: But just being nice to the cop and being like, How you doing, officer?
- 17:32SPEAKER_04: Here's all my stuff.
- 17:34SPEAKER_04: Hands on the wheel.
- 17:35SPEAKER_04: Yes, sir, no, sir.
- 17:37SPEAKER_04: Being respectful, he's like, All right, get her home safe.
- 17:40SPEAKER_04: Okay, cool.
- 17:41SPEAKER_04: Other times they're like, just slow down.
- 17:43SPEAKER_04: We're writing you a ticket just for a seat belt.
- 17:45SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, okay, no points on my license.
- 17:48SPEAKER_04: Kindness pays off at the end of the day.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: I get little extras in my goodie bag.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: If I if I order something, they're like, oh, we have extra fries.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: I yes.
- 18:00SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: Oh, if I go to the bakery that I always go to, they're like, okay, wait, hold up.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: We just pull something out the oven.
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: I get it as opposed to whatever's in the case.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: It adds up.
- 18:11SPEAKER_04: And when the roles are reversed, I'm the same way.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:14SPEAKER_04: If you're really nice to me and I can see you're having a rough day, or like okay, let's stop this conversation right there.
- 18:22SPEAKER_04: Let's uh we we know where this is going.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: You're very nice to people.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: Yes, I know.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: I'm also very nice to people when I'm clocked in because I'm clocked in.
- 18:32SPEAKER_04: So you're getting paid to be nice, yeah.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: I sure am.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I did snap at somebody yesterday, but whatever.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: That never happened.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: It never happened.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: No.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Well, I was I was on food, and this motherfucker wanted a complaint to me about how long his drink was taking.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Do I look like I'm making drinks?
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Do I look like I have anything to do with that?
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: I said it's that way.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: I was like, I'm so sorry.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: You know how it can be.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I'm so sorry.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: You know, as you can see, there's a lot of people were a little backed up.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: You know, I apologize for the wait, but your drink will be ready.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, but it said it was ready on the app.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Well, then go check the mobile orders.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: And he was like, But I was like, down there.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: She was like, and this motherfucker had the nerve to come up to Lisa.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Like, I was like, all right, easy girl, easy down, easy, yeah, down girl, down, down girl, down.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: She was like, I want to go out tonight and get into a fight.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: I want to hit somebody.
- 19:44SPEAKER_05: Oh my god.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: I feel that because sometimes you just want to be a problem.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: You're like, you know what?
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: I want to be a problem tonight.
- 19:49SPEAKER_02: Take out all my skills.
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: The intrusive thoughts kick in.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: You're like, hmm, what's the consequences?
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, yeah, I I promise the worst is gonna happen.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: I won't be in jail longer than 24 hours.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: I am good.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: I'm fine.
- 20:11SPEAKER_04: Listen, to be honest, at this point, jail sounds a lot better because it's free boarding and free food.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: And then and here I'll just be I'll just be in like the county jail for like 24 hours.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: This is especially Wisconsin.
- 20:24SPEAKER_03: I mean, there I mean the four DUIs, like it's no big deal.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: No, no, biggie.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: And honestly, we probably got a pool table in the jail too for you.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: Probably do.
- 20:36SPEAKER_02: And I bet you, as nice as I've been, I probably know somebody in there.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: They're like, oh my god, I saw you at the Pigley Wigley.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, you know.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Oh, you don't have to take your shoes off.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: I trust you.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: You never know.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: I guess I'm getting solitary if I go.
- 20:58SPEAKER_04: To be honest, uh low key, if I was to go to jail, I would want solitary confinement.
- 21:04SPEAKER_04: I would do whatever it takes to get solitary confinement.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: Just put me in a little prison.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: Yes, put me in solitary.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Prison's a whole different ball of wax.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 21:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but like county jail is like I want to hang out with the people, talk to the guards and everything.
- 21:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Because no one's in there, no one's in there seriously.
- 21:23SPEAKER_04: No, it's like a couple days.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: It's the DUIs and and then once in there for a couple of months, like that's the biggest problem.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: Like, it's fine.
- 21:32SPEAKER_03: And they think they run the show.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you like bring them.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, is this like should I should I have different goals in life?
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, if you go out one night with the intentions to be a problem, yeah, just weigh your options and see what you got.
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm good.
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: Find out where you're gonna be a problem at.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Like, as long as I don't open my mouth, I'm good.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: I've never been troubled ever a day in my life.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: And when I did get in trouble, I added my way out of it.
- 22:10SPEAKER_04: So I one time I uh I got the cops called on me.
- 22:16SPEAKER_04: I was it was my freshman year in college.
- 22:20SPEAKER_04: Uh, we just moved from our house to an apartment complex, so our mail in address.
- 22:25SPEAKER_04: Was kind of funky.
- 22:26SPEAKER_04: I ordered my textbooks.
- 22:29SPEAKER_04: One the post office said that it was supposed to be in Anandale, and then one post office said, no, the Anandale one doesn't have it.
- 22:35SPEAKER_04: It's in Stewartsville.
- 22:36SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 22:37SPEAKER_04: So I went to Annandale.
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: They didn't have it.
- 22:39SPEAKER_04: I went to Stewarttsville.
- 22:40SPEAKER_04: They said that Anandale has it.
- 22:41SPEAKER_04: I drove back to Annandale.
- 22:42SPEAKER_04: Anandale says they don't have it.
- 22:44SPEAKER_04: So I freaked out and I was like, where the fuck is my package?
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: This old lady at the counter was like, I don't even let my kids say the F-word like that.
- 22:55SPEAKER_04: You gotta go.
- 22:56SPEAKER_04: And I was like, what the fuck do you mean?
- 22:58SPEAKER_04: I just need my textbook for school.
- 22:59SPEAKER_04: Like I have school next week.
- 23:01SPEAKER_04: So I go outside, I sit on the curb.
- 23:04SPEAKER_04: All of a sudden, cop rolls up.
- 23:06SPEAKER_04: He's like, hey, were you the one that was screaming the F bomb in the post office?
- 23:10SPEAKER_04: I was like, yes.
- 23:12SPEAKER_04: They're telling me that my package is here.
- 23:14SPEAKER_04: Then they're telling me to go to Stewarttsville.
- 23:16SPEAKER_04: I've been driving back and forth for about 25 minutes now.
- 23:20SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, I was dumbfound.
- 23:23SPEAKER_04: I was like, where is my stuff?
- 23:25SPEAKER_04: The cop was like, Yeah, but you know it's a federal building, you can't be cursing like that.
- 23:30SPEAKER_04: That's actually illegal to do.
- 23:32SPEAKER_04: And I was like, bullshit, but I didn't say that to the cop because I was actually going for criminal justice.
- 23:37SPEAKER_04: That was my degree.
- 23:38SPEAKER_04: So I was like, listen, I'm going for criminal justice.
- 23:40SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to become a police officer.
- 23:42SPEAKER_04: I'm not trying to cause problems.
- 23:43SPEAKER_04: I just need my textbooks because I literally have class starting next week and I need the textbooks.
- 23:49SPEAKER_04: They go inside, they talk to them, they come back out, and they're like, all right, they're not doing anything, they're not pressing charges, like, uh, I hope you find your books and everything.
- 23:58SPEAKER_04: I was like, I appreciate that.
- 24:00SPEAKER_04: Two days later, I get a call from that same post office.
- 24:03SPEAKER_04: Hey, so we found your package.
- 24:04SPEAKER_04: You want to come pick it up?
- 24:05SPEAKER_04: I was like, oh, now you guys found the package after calling the cops on me.
- 24:10SPEAKER_04: And after telling me to run back and forth between two stores, yeah, yeah, I will be there.
- 24:15SPEAKER_04: Not even 10 minutes later, all of a sudden, my package is delivered at my door.
- 24:20SPEAKER_04: They did not want me coming back to that place.
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: I guess it's like, oh, that's the guy.
- 24:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we don't yeah, we don't.
- 24:28SPEAKER_04: I I know they had that package.
- 24:30SPEAKER_04: It's just under a pile of shit.
- 24:32SPEAKER_04: Because it's USPS.
- 24:34SPEAKER_04: Come on.
- 24:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 24:37SPEAKER_04: The old lady was too worried about me dropping the F bomb and actually looking for my.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: That even happened to me, and I'm incensed right now.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: I'm like, uh Yeah.
- 24:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I've had an eventful life in Hunterdon County.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: I can imagine.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: Is that South or is that north?
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know where that is.
- 24:59SPEAKER_04: Central.
- 25:00SPEAKER_04: Central Jersey.
- 25:01SPEAKER_04: I know a lot of people will fight me on that, but it is central Jersey.
- 25:04SPEAKER_04: SmackDab in the middle, uh, off of so it's exit what?
- 25:11SPEAKER_04: 21 off of 287.
- 25:14SPEAKER_04: Uh, and that's going you're going north.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Is it like west?
- 25:21SPEAKER_04: It's northwest, yeah.
- 25:23SPEAKER_04: So it's close to like Phillipsburg, Penn uh Pennsylvania, Eastern Pennsylvania, that area.
- 25:29unknown: Okay.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: So like did you live there for like how long did you live there?
- 25:39SPEAKER_04: So I was born in Livingston.
- 25:41SPEAKER_04: Uh I lived in Woodbridge.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Livingston is north, no?
- 25:46SPEAKER_04: Livingston, yes, that's north.
- 25:48SPEAKER_04: It's like it's close to like the Woodbridge Edison area, I believe.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: It was okay, okay.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
- 25:57SPEAKER_04: Oh actually, yeah.
- 25:58SPEAKER_04: Regardless.
- 25:59SPEAKER_04: Uh we were living in uh Woodbridge, New Jersey.
- 26:04SPEAKER_04: Uh that was up until I was in third grade.
- 26:07SPEAKER_04: Third grade is when my parents found the house in Hunterdon County because they wanted a bigger house.
- 26:13SPEAKER_04: So with my dad working at an airport, he wanted to move somewhere quiet.
- 26:18SPEAKER_04: And Woodbridge is known to be Little India.
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: If you guys know, like we lived right down the road from Patel Cash and Carey.
- 26:27SPEAKER_04: So um it was very noisy, very loud, very populated.
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: So we moved to Hunterdon County after looking at some houses.
- 26:35SPEAKER_04: Uh and my parents at the time thought that was like the best choice, the best idea, but they weren't really familiar with like the whole high school, middle school in the United States, how bad bullying can get and everything.
- 26:50SPEAKER_04: So my neighbors were Jewish.
- 26:56SPEAKER_04: So as you guys, as everyone, the whole world knows, Iranians and Jewish people really don't get along too well.
- 27:05SPEAKER_04: We were friendly with them.
- 27:07SPEAKER_04: We never caused any issues until they started causing issues.
- 27:11SPEAKER_04: So I remember when we first moved there, they invited us over, we said hi, we met up, we hung out and everything.
- 27:19SPEAKER_04: Then they came over to our house.
- 27:22SPEAKER_04: When they came over to our house, a few weeks later, we get a knock on the door from uh, what is it, the property assessment, tax assessments?
- 27:32SPEAKER_04: And they're like, Yeah, so your neighbors called saying that they feel like they're paying more taxes than they should be, because you guys have more square footage and whatnot.
- 27:42SPEAKER_04: So they literally called the the to get their taxes lowered because they saw that instead of two staircases leading upstairs, we only had one, and then we had an overhang.
- 27:54SPEAKER_04: So Iranians, they're they're funny people because what my dad does is he gets on the good side of everyone.
- 28:02SPEAKER_04: He'll make food, he'll buy food or make food, put out like snacks, fruit, anything, talk to them, treat them like family basically when they come in.
- 28:11SPEAKER_04: So my my dad asked her, and she was like, Listen, was it them up the road that called?
- 28:16SPEAKER_04: And she was like, Yeah, yeah, it was them.
- 28:18SPEAKER_04: I'm not supposed to be telling you guys, but yeah, it was them that called.
- 28:21SPEAKER_04: It was because they came into the house and they saw that you have the one staircase leading up the house, but not two that they have, so they thought that their property tax should be less than yours and whatnot.
- 28:33SPEAKER_04: And she was like, honestly, I'm gonna I'm not even gonna let them win this one.
- 28:37SPEAKER_04: So my dad ended up winning that battle.
- 28:40SPEAKER_04: But now, fast forward, my dad, if you like, if you saw our house, we had these beautiful, beautiful like yellow bushes that we had alongside the driveway.
- 28:55SPEAKER_04: And my dad said, so my dad finished planting them.
- 28:59SPEAKER_04: The neighbor saw, and you hear the wife say, This is I shit you not, this is all that we ever heard every day.
- 29:08SPEAKER_05: Barry! Barry, come look at the flowers! Look at them, they're so nice.
- 29:17SPEAKER_04: My dad's outside, and he hears that.
- 29:20SPEAKER_04: He's like, Fuck no.
- 29:22SPEAKER_04: That same day, he ripped all those bushes out, and instead of having it alongside the driveway where it divides our two houses, he put them into the front yard, so it was across our front yard, so they couldn't see it and didn't have the benefits of the beauty of it.
- 29:40SPEAKER_04: Yep, that's how petty my dad is.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: He's like, Okay, love your dad.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: That's it, he's not my bestie.
- 29:49SPEAKER_04: Oh, we oh man, we used to do some funny things.
- 29:53SPEAKER_04: It's like their tree fell down in our backyard, or we had a tree fall down in their backyard one time.
- 29:58SPEAKER_04: They came and they're like, You gotta move your tree and whatnot, yada yada yada.
- 30:01SPEAKER_04: My dad's like, okay.
- 30:02SPEAKER_04: So he goes, cuts up the tree and everything.
- 30:04SPEAKER_04: Then during Hurricane Sandy, two of their trees fell down in our yard.
- 30:08SPEAKER_04: And my dad was like, yo, Barry, go get your trees.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: And Barry's like, No, it's on your property.
- 30:14SPEAKER_04: He's like, Fuck you, no, it's not.
- 30:16SPEAKER_04: That's the property line right there.
- 30:18SPEAKER_04: That's where the holes on the trees are.
- 30:20SPEAKER_04: That is your trees.
- 30:21SPEAKER_04: Come take your shit.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: And he's like, Okay, can you can you call Ryan and have him come help me move the logs and everything?
- 30:27SPEAKER_04: He's like, No, get your own kids to do it.
- 30:29SPEAKER_04: He's like, I'm not having my son come help you.
- 30:32SPEAKER_04: So then he got his kids to help him and everything like that.
- 30:36SPEAKER_04: So there was always that feud between the kids.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: And for no reason, honestly.
- 30:42SPEAKER_04: They paintballed our house one time.
- 30:46SPEAKER_04: The oldest son was shooting paintballs at the trees and he missed the trees and was hitting our garage.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Oops.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, you know what?
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: So what did you guys do next?
- 30:57SPEAKER_04: Mmm, you know my dad, so he looks at it, he's like, he sees that it's lined up with them.
- 31:04SPEAKER_04: He's like, mm-mm.
- 31:05SPEAKER_04: He goes up to the house, he's like, Barry, come right now before we have a serious fucking problem.
- 31:12SPEAKER_04: He takes him, he's like, Look at what your fucking kids did.
- 31:14SPEAKER_04: You get your kids right now to fucking clean this up before I call the cops and say, you guys vandalized my house.
- 31:22SPEAKER_04: Now, panic mode instills, both Barry, the wife, the two kids, come down and they're scrubbing the walls with a sponge.
- 31:32SPEAKER_04: They wanted to use our hose?
- 31:33SPEAKER_04: No.
- 31:34SPEAKER_04: Get a fucking bucket from your house, come back down and clean it.
- 31:39SPEAKER_04: My dad does not play around when it comes to that stuff.
- 31:42SPEAKER_04: He's he's the gentle giant where he's kind of like relaxed, reserved, but once you mess with the family, you mess with him, he doesn't say yes, he's not gonna say no.
- 31:52SPEAKER_04: He's gonna be like, Okay, I'll remember that.
- 31:55SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 31:56SPEAKER_04: And you'll never know when it hits you.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: I bowed down.
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: Um I love a good petty person.
- 32:05SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 32:08SPEAKER_04: And that's who I learned everything from.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, good to know.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: After you left there, because I already forgot.
- 32:21SPEAKER_04: Woodbridge to Hunterden County?
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Hunterden, Hunterden.
- 32:25SPEAKER_04: Hunterdeny.
- 32:25SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: Huntered and yeah.
- 32:27SPEAKER_04: Hunterden.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Um then where?
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: So from Hunter County, so we what from uh till about 2020.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: Like how long did you stay there?
- 32:45SPEAKER_04: From when I was in third grade until I was like 20, wow.
- 32:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so like I was living with my parents through COVID and everything.
- 32:59SPEAKER_04: Uh when I got married, that's when my wife and I found an apartment in Piscataway.
- 33:04SPEAKER_04: So we moved up to Middlesex County, went to Piscataway.
- 33:08SPEAKER_04: I uh landed a job doing door-to-door sales.
- 33:12SPEAKER_04: So I was doing that in New Jersey for a few months.
- 33:16SPEAKER_04: They opened up the Long Island location, so I ended up doing a commute where I was living in Piscataway.
- 33:22SPEAKER_04: I would drive down to Long Island on Monday morning.
- 33:28SPEAKER_04: I would stay in an Airbnb until Friday night, drive back home, be with the wife for the weekend, do it all over again.
- 33:36SPEAKER_04: But I made connections, really good connections there.
- 33:39SPEAKER_04: So, like the Airbnb host that I was staying with, it was like originally like it was$2,000 for the month.
- 33:46SPEAKER_04: And I was talking to him, I was like, listen, I'll pay you cash, we could go behind Airbnb's back, like what can we do?
- 33:51SPEAKER_04: And he was like, dude, just give me$1,300 and we'll call it even.
- 33:54SPEAKER_04: You can stay here as long as you need.
- 33:56SPEAKER_04: I was like, okay.
- 33:57SPEAKER_04: So I was paying him$1,300 plus paying rent back at the New Jersey as well.
- 34:04SPEAKER_04: So we decided, all right, let's move to Edgewater.
- 34:10SPEAKER_04: So the apartment complex we live at, they allow free transfers if it's over 30 miles.
- 34:15SPEAKER_04: So we managed to transfer our lease to Edgewater.
- 34:19SPEAKER_04: We stayed there from my birthday April until my wife's birthday, actually, August.
- 34:29SPEAKER_04: And then I ended up getting into the sales team.
- 34:33SPEAKER_04: We moved to Oldbridge, and then I ended up quitting because sales was not for me.
- 34:40SPEAKER_04: Like I felt too guilty trying to push people into buying something that they didn't need.
- 34:46SPEAKER_04: I was okay giving out a free estimate.
- 34:48SPEAKER_04: Like, I was like, dude, it's two hours of your day.
- 34:51SPEAKER_04: Like, just check it out.
- 34:52SPEAKER_04: You get a free inspection out of it as well.
- 34:54SPEAKER_04: That was my selling point, and people were like, alright, yeah, if it's a free inspection, I might as well.
- 34:59SPEAKER_04: Uh so I was making good money then, but then when I went to sales, I was not making anything, I was bleeding.
- 35:04SPEAKER_04: So we ended up I ended up quitting.
- 35:08SPEAKER_04: Uh I had a job at Target doing their security, and I hated that.
- 35:16SPEAKER_04: I hated that.
- 35:18SPEAKER_04: I didn't get to talk to people or anything.
- 35:20SPEAKER_04: I was just checking receipts, and I just felt like a complete loser at that time.
- 35:24SPEAKER_04: And then I went into electrical.
- 35:26SPEAKER_04: I found uh I was looking at trade jobs.
- 35:29SPEAKER_04: I found uh electrical school, so now I've been doing electrical trade school, working at Starbucks, just to kind of get some money in the side as well.
- 35:39SPEAKER_04: Uh currently working with a GC that I actually just did three days in a row with him.
- 35:45SPEAKER_04: Um and yeah, so that's the that's the life of Ryan right now.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: When you think about how like the things that you experienced when you grew up versus now spring 2026 with everything that's going on, how does it like I don't really want to say compare because that's that's not really fair, but but how are their experiences like side by side, I guess?
- 36:20SPEAKER_04: Uh well when I got into high school, I was severely bullied throughout high school.
- 36:29SPEAKER_04: So uh when I was in Woodbridge, I was very active, I was a very skinny kid.
- 36:37SPEAKER_04: We had a pool, my parents would make fun of me and be like Ryan would be in the pool the moment he woke up until we dragged him out of the pool.
- 36:44SPEAKER_04: And fun fact, Iranian grandparents don't understand the trauma behind scaring kids, like saying like makeup stories.
- 36:53SPEAKER_04: Because my grandma to this day still haunts me.
- 36:56SPEAKER_04: She's like, Ryan, at night, when you get into a pool, if you're in the pool, this lady, like old lady, will grab your leg and drag you to the bottom of the pool.
- 37:07SPEAKER_04: So ever since then, I hate night swimming because that's always back in my mind that some type of witch is gonna grab my leg and drag me under the pool.
- 37:16SPEAKER_04: Even though I'm 29 years old, I know better that no one's gonna do that.
- 37:20SPEAKER_04: But still have that fear mindset.
- 37:23SPEAKER_04: Um but yeah, I was very active.
- 37:26SPEAKER_04: I was a skinny kid.
- 37:27SPEAKER_04: I will move to Hunterdon County, it was wooded areas.
- 37:31SPEAKER_04: Uh the first night that we moved in, my uncle played a mean prank where I was staring outside the sliding glass door, and then he just runs up the deck and starts smacking on the glass door, gave me a heart attack.
- 37:42SPEAKER_04: I thought it was like a bear or something.
- 37:44SPEAKER_04: So then ever since then, I just avoided going outside in the backyard.
- 37:50SPEAKER_04: So I started gaining weight.
- 37:51SPEAKER_04: Um, I went through an emo phase of long hair.
- 37:55SPEAKER_04: My hair was like down to my shoulders, and they would curl up because they were, yeah, I had really curly hair.
- 38:02SPEAKER_04: So I was bullied a lot in high school.
- 38:04SPEAKER_04: Not only just for that, but also for the fact I'm Iranian.
- 38:08SPEAKER_04: I was literally the only Middle Easterner in the whole entire school, uh besides my sister as well.
- 38:15SPEAKER_04: Uh so like in middle school, there was this one kid that would just punch me, throw basketballs at me, and everything.
- 38:24SPEAKER_04: So I texted him one day calling him a and all of a sudden I get called into the principal's office.
- 38:30SPEAKER_04: Hey, you like texted this guy, and I was like, You want me to show you the bruises I have on my body from him?
- 38:39SPEAKER_04: Principal's like, all right, go back to class.
- 38:41SPEAKER_04: Because mom was on the board of education, the PTA or whatever it is.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: My mom or his mom?
- 38:50SPEAKER_04: His mom.
- 38:52SPEAKER_04: So obviously he gets get out of free jail card.
- 38:57SPEAKER_04: But now, like, compared to then versus now.
- 39:02SPEAKER_04: So I would say back then as a kid, it was a lot harder because kids are ruthless, they don't care, they have no sense of consequences or repercussions, they don't understand what they're doing.
- 39:17SPEAKER_04: So, like, I was at one point suicidal.
- 39:19SPEAKER_04: Like, I did send a lengthy, lengthy message to my sister's best friend, who then showed it to my sister and my mom.
- 39:28SPEAKER_04: So that was kind of like a little bit of like a turning point in my life where I was just like, what am I doing?
- 39:34SPEAKER_04: Like, there's no point to like I just figured it would be easier just to end it all, but I kind of came to the realization that that's not that's the easy way out, that's the cheap way out.
- 39:44SPEAKER_04: So don't do it.
- 39:46SPEAKER_04: But now, being that I'm a lot older, 2026, like it doesn't affect me anymore because I kind of act like a like a chameleon in a way.
- 39:58SPEAKER_04: So like if I'm talking to someone that's hardcore Trump 2026, whatever it may be, hey, yeah, me too, brother, me too.
- 40:06SPEAKER_04: Let's go Trump.
- 40:07SPEAKER_04: But if it's like someone liberal, I'm more liberal.
- 40:11SPEAKER_04: If someone calls me, hey, are you Italian?
- 40:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm Italian.
- 40:14SPEAKER_04: Are you Mexican?
- 40:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm Mexican.
- 40:16SPEAKER_04: Like, I will blend in with whatever you need me to be.
- 40:19SPEAKER_04: But at the end of the day, I am proud to be Iranian.
- 40:22SPEAKER_04: I am proud of my culture, my heritage.
- 40:25SPEAKER_04: Um, but I just don't let it affect me.
- 40:28SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm becoming more confident in a way where I don't let the little things bother me.
- 40:38SPEAKER_04: Like, I have thick skin.
- 40:40SPEAKER_04: Like I grew up in a tough like a tough area where yeah, people say it's Hunterdon County, like it's like a safe area, there's nothing going on there, you have a lot of hicks there.
- 40:52SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but being a minority in a hick area, that's a rough area for us.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: I had I would have been better off in Woodbridge because that was more minorities than whites.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it it's safe, but like there's an asterisk, you know, like there's an asterisk.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:12SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 41:13SPEAKER_04: Sure, safe for certain people.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:18SPEAKER_04: I mean and it it did not help that the fact that like when I was a senior in high school, the there was a house that was on the street above us.
- 41:29SPEAKER_04: So we lived on Fox Farm Road.
- 41:31SPEAKER_04: On mine road, FBI raided a house because of known terrorist attempts where they had RPGs, explosives in their basement.
- 41:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that did not help my case at all.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: No.
- 41:44SPEAKER_04: No.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: So because because certain groups are defined by the acts of one.
- 41:52SPEAKER_02: But it's funny how we have known militias.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: Known count.
- 42:02SPEAKER_02: So many of them, not just one here, one there.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: There's hundreds of um, what's the word I'm looking for?
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: My my brain is shutting down.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Terrorist groups?
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was the word I'm looking for.
- 42:16SPEAKER_02: Um anyhow.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: Um I I give up on the word.
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: But it's just like, oh, that's just them.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: You can't just them when they don't look like us.
- 42:28SPEAKER_04: Well, like look at Jonestown, for example.
- 42:31SPEAKER_04: Jonestown was a prime example of a cult right there.
- 42:34SPEAKER_04: Everyone drank the Kool-Aid, you know?
- 42:36SPEAKER_04: Like it's just all a mindset.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: It's just like it's just a it's just a it's an exception.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: It doesn't happen.
- 42:43SPEAKER_02: It's just them.
- 42:44SPEAKER_04: Now, fun facts.
- 42:46SPEAKER_04: Fun fact.
- 42:48SPEAKER_04: Iran, Iran has been around for over 3,000 years.
- 42:55SPEAKER_04: They are the oldest civilization known.
- 42:59SPEAKER_04: They have survived everything.
- 43:01SPEAKER_04: They were the first to bring culture.
- 43:03SPEAKER_04: Like they celebrated Norus, which back then it was like they would put out like herbs, flowers, nuts, celebrate the new year, the new coming year.
- 43:13SPEAKER_04: To this day, they still celebrate the same exact way.
- 43:17SPEAKER_04: The Iranians are the ones who they didn't build the roads, but they built the first highway that allowed uh the it was what was it, the first highway built by Cyrus the Great, and it spanned over what was it, 957 miles.
- 43:35SPEAKER_04: And they actually invented the first mail system where you could bring it to the carrier, they would take your letter, it would take five to seven days for them to go on horseback to drop off the letter for you.
- 43:51SPEAKER_04: Now, USPS, our foundation, our foundation is based on Cyrus the Great's mindset with the highways and their postal system.
- 44:01SPEAKER_04: And they were actually the first to come up with refrigerators too, freezers.
- 44:07SPEAKER_04: They called it Yakchal, which is literally translates to freezer.
- 44:11SPEAKER_04: So they were the first to create these domes where they can store food for a long time as well.
- 44:16SPEAKER_04: So most of the things that we take for granted nowadays has come from the Iranian culture, the Persian Empire, when it was.
- 44:25SPEAKER_04: Thriving.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: Did not know that.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: Neither did I.
- 44:30SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: I love a ghost basic.
- 44:32SPEAKER_04: People think that like Iran's like, okay, they like compare Iran to like the Middle East.
- 44:37SPEAKER_04: So they think, oh, it's all shacks.
- 44:39SPEAKER_04: They're on camels and donkeys, and like, no.
- 44:42SPEAKER_04: If you look at photos of Tehran, the capital, it looks like New York City.
- 44:46SPEAKER_04: You would not be able to tell the difference.
- 44:47SPEAKER_04: But no, you can't.
- 44:49SPEAKER_04: You can't.
- 44:49SPEAKER_04: Shirah is the city of flower.
- 44:51SPEAKER_04: That's where my parents were born.
- 44:53SPEAKER_04: It is gorgeous there.
- 44:55SPEAKER_04: Absolutely gorgeous.
- 44:56SPEAKER_04: I remember being so young.
- 44:58SPEAKER_04: I was like six years old the first time I went.
- 45:00SPEAKER_04: Parents tell me, hey, go down two blocks, three blocks, go grab a newspaper for us and get yourself some candy.
- 45:06SPEAKER_04: I'm a six-year-old walking down the street.
- 45:09SPEAKER_04: People are just looking at me, they're saying hi to me, they're asking me where I'm going, if I need any help, if I need to know where I'm going.
- 45:15SPEAKER_04: I go to the store, the guy gives me the newspaper and a candy for free.
- 45:19SPEAKER_04: Didn't even ask me for any money.
- 45:20SPEAKER_04: And then sends me on my way.
- 45:22SPEAKER_04: And I go back home and that's it.
- 45:23SPEAKER_04: Like, it's all family culture there.
- 45:27SPEAKER_04: So, like, when people are always like, oh, you're Iranian, you're from the Middle East, like camels and whatnot, I'm like, You are so uncultured.
- 45:36SPEAKER_04: You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
- 45:38SPEAKER_04: Ignorance is bliss.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: And I love the fact that they always think of I'm gonna be very broad stroke here.
- 45:45SPEAKER_02: Iran culture and is there back in Africa, Iran, uh Shax and Primal.
- 45:55SPEAKER_04: Uncivilized, yeah.
- 45:56SPEAKER_02: But compared to Western culture, these cultures, we've had like their cleanliness, we know how to like hygiene, basic things that you know, the Western culture and people in Europe were still dying of the plague because they didn't know how to wash their hands or wash their eyes.
- 46:14SPEAKER_07: Exactly.
- 46:18SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: Imagine growing up in the United States where we value this white-centric ideology, right?
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: Where we look at cultures like Europe, you know, like Greece or Italy, right?
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: And and and these are like, ooh, ooh la, you know.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: So if if we want to shit all over brown people, right, and we want to hate on them, and we want to take advantage of their resources and their land and their culture, and here's one of these and one of these, and we'll take one and one of these, we can't tell people how beautiful their countries are and how advanced they are, they are with plundering the culture and the country and the people, of course, and and the people who have brain cells that say, look, let's hold hands and let's be happy, will understand that there is way more to other places than sand and camels and poverty, and of course, like that poverty exists everywhere.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: Poverty exists in places here, everywhere.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: But but you still think that you live in that trailer and you got four teeth and your children can't read, but you somehow still think that you are in a better off place than the guy who was born with brown skin and lives in a brown country, right?
- 48:04SPEAKER_04: Like well, listen, like US, we have such a bad opioid crisis, heroin crisis, the ODs are ridiculous.
- 48:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Iran doesn't have any issues like that.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, the call is coming from inside the house.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: Like, we are just so fucking dumb.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, and not me.
- 48:21SPEAKER_04: You know what the Iranian so I I've been really like keeping up with this war, like especially like Lisa can attest to it.
- 48:30SPEAKER_04: The day that Trump was like, we're gonna wipe out nine million people, whole civilization.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: I was having a panic attack a whole and I can't do that again.
- 48:37SPEAKER_04: No, no, don't worry.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: I can't do that again.
- 48:41SPEAKER_04: So I'm gonna have to send you home.
- 48:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
- 48:45SPEAKER_04: I've been keeping up on it so much where the so the Iranian people and the Iranian so the Iranian government isn't the greatest.
- 48:54SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna lie there.
- 48:55SPEAKER_04: No government is great in general, period.
- 48:58SPEAKER_04: But the Iranian people are what matters the most, and they're gonna be able to take control of their government when the time comes.
- 49:08SPEAKER_04: Right now, their mindset is let the government do what it needs to to defend the country.
- 49:14SPEAKER_04: So their government literally said, we're not after the American people.
- 49:20SPEAKER_04: We're not after any civilians, we're not gonna kill children, we're not gonna kill women.
- 49:26SPEAKER_04: What we're after is the Epstein pedophiles that run the country.
- 49:32SPEAKER_04: Verbatim.
- 49:33SPEAKER_04: Epstein pedophiles that run your country.
- 49:36SPEAKER_04: That's who they're after.
- 49:37SPEAKER_04: The only way this war will stop is once those pedophiles are all arrested and in jail.
- 49:43SPEAKER_04: But we know how the U.S.
- 49:45SPEAKER_04: works.
- 49:46SPEAKER_04: Everyone's gonna get off with a pardon.
- 49:49SPEAKER_04: Everyone's gonna get off scotch-free.
- 49:51SPEAKER_04: Nothing's ever gonna happen to these cases.
- 49:53SPEAKER_04: So this war is just gonna keep going, where us, the American people, are gonna suffer because of our government.
- 50:00SPEAKER_04: It's not the Iranian government causing this where they shut down the Strait of Hormuz, they're not letting us have access to our oils, our oil prices keep going up.
- 50:07SPEAKER_04: No, they're trying to destroy the US economy so the US people can take back their country.
- 50:15SPEAKER_04: It's simple as that.
- 50:17SPEAKER_04: So, yeah, they might now win the physical fights, even though they have been.
- 50:23SPEAKER_04: I could keep going on and on about this.
- 50:26SPEAKER_04: Iran is a massive, massive country.
- 50:29SPEAKER_04: And it is deserts and mountains.
- 50:32SPEAKER_04: This is home territory for them.
- 50:35SPEAKER_04: They keep saying, US, send your troops if you want, put troops on the ground, see what's gonna happen.
- 50:41SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be another Iraq.
- 50:42SPEAKER_04: You're not gonna be able to win this fight.
- 50:45SPEAKER_04: Hence why we pulled out of Iraq as well, because we couldn't win the pointless war.
- 50:49SPEAKER_04: Vietnam, we couldn't win that pointless war.
- 50:52SPEAKER_04: So all these wars are just pointless at this point.
- 50:54SPEAKER_04: It's just the US has been fighting.
- 50:57SPEAKER_04: We we've been around for 250 years, we've only had 16 years of peace.
- 51:01SPEAKER_04: Out of those 250 years.
- 51:03SPEAKER_04: 16 years of peace.
- 51:05SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 51:06SPEAKER_04: So like Iran is very smart with their str with their strategies.
- 51:14SPEAKER_04: They know that their bases are secured underground.
- 51:17SPEAKER_04: There's no way that anyone can do an airstrike on it because it's gonna hit the top of a mountain, and that's it.
- 51:23SPEAKER_04: So they're they're prepared for the long run.
- 51:27SPEAKER_04: And I read this article today, actually.
- 51:30SPEAKER_04: It was like the it was CNN talking about how Iran's economy is gonna get affected because of the blockade, like their prices are going up, their gas prices and their food prices are going up.
- 51:43SPEAKER_04: Iran is used to this because of all the US sanctions that have been placed on them.
- 51:48SPEAKER_04: They're used to having to survive and fight.
- 51:52SPEAKER_04: So this is nothing for them.
- 51:53SPEAKER_04: The American people, we're not used to this.
- 51:55SPEAKER_04: You see how many people are freaking out over$4 gas.
- 52:00SPEAKER_04: So this economy, our economy will collapse before Iran even bats an eye.
- 52:09SPEAKER_04: And a nation that's been there around there for 3,000 years, they're gonna stay around.
- 52:14SPEAKER_04: They're not going anywhere.
- 52:15SPEAKER_04: And they have everyone backing them up, they have Pakistan backing them up, Palestine backing them up, China and Russia are now backing up Iran as well, which is kind of terrifying to think of.
- 52:26SPEAKER_02: And then even though the countries that are not backing them up, they're not supporting us.
- 52:31SPEAKER_04: No, exactly.
- 52:32SPEAKER_04: So we're they're not giving us troops, they're not giving us any resources, they're not helping us in any type of way because they know if they get involved, they're gonna exactly.
- 52:43SPEAKER_04: It's bullshit, and if they get involved, they're gonna be the ones that suffer next.
- 52:47SPEAKER_04: Because Iran is saying, hey, listen, you guys want oil?
- 52:51SPEAKER_04: All right, it's gonna be 12 million uh um a ship in Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, because they know that they don't want to use the US dollar because that'll strengthen the US dollar.
- 53:02SPEAKER_04: They don't want to use the Iranian dollar because that could become obsolete.
- 53:04SPEAKER_04: So let's use a currency that everyone uses, Bitcoin.
- 53:07SPEAKER_04: Crypto is not probably gonna go anywhere.
- 53:10SPEAKER_04: And it's only a dollar a barrel, technically, if you think about it.
- 53:13SPEAKER_04: There's 12 million barrels in each of those ships.
- 53:16SPEAKER_04: So they're charging a dollar a barrel, 12 million dollars.
- 53:19SPEAKER_04: All right, send it on out, you guys can have passage.
- 53:22SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 53:24SPEAKER_04: The US does not want to do that because the US wants money out of it, so they're like, no, we want a profit share.
- 53:30SPEAKER_04: We want money out of this too.
- 53:32SPEAKER_04: Iran's like, no, they're not gonna let them.
- 53:35SPEAKER_04: Iran did not even have control of the Strait of Homero's before the war.
- 53:40SPEAKER_04: No one had control.
- 53:41SPEAKER_04: They would just let ships pass freely.
- 53:43SPEAKER_02: It was doing, yes, but that strait actually falls in between multiple countries.
- 53:49SPEAKER_04: So you're like Dubai is literally on the tip of it, and then Iran is right up here, and the strait goes right through it.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: And then the space that has no international that almost no one owns it, it's too small for a ship to go through.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: So you have to go through something.
- 54:04SPEAKER_02: So we caused the closure in essence.
- 54:08SPEAKER_04: We we did.
- 54:09SPEAKER_04: We caused the closure, and Iran is having fun with it because they kind of uh, I don't know if you guys heard, they put out the land mines, the sea mines all over the water.
- 54:19SPEAKER_04: Trump was like, You got yeah, so right when the attacks happened and they took over the strait, they're like, Alright, we're gonna put landmines basically where Dubai is, all right here, so it forces everyone to have to come up towards Iran and pass through.
- 54:35SPEAKER_04: So they put the landmines, the sea mines there, and Trump is like, alright, reopen the strait, reopen the strait, reopen the strait.
- 54:44SPEAKER_04: Iran's like, uh, it's gonna take us a few months because we were rushing when we were placing those sea mines there.
- 54:50SPEAKER_04: So we don't know where all of them are anymore.
- 54:53SPEAKER_04: So we're actually gonna need international help to find all these sea mines before we can send any ships straight through it.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 55:01SPEAKER_04: They're playing the long game, they're they're very smart.
- 55:04SPEAKER_04: Their prime minister, he has two PhDs.
- 55:09SPEAKER_04: A PhD in math.
- 55:10SPEAKER_04: Or no, in uh psychology and human uh human studies.
- 55:15SPEAKER_04: This man is a genius, and he is so calm.
- 55:20SPEAKER_04: He knows how to take care of his people.
- 55:21SPEAKER_04: There's a story about how when he was a brigade commander, um it was during the I think the Iran-Iraq war, um, his brother was hit during this, like um during a combat.
- 55:38SPEAKER_04: Something something happened where his whole platoon basically was killed, and his brother was dying there too.
- 55:44SPEAKER_04: So he remembers that he, as the brigade commander, he could not show weakness, so he had to go check on every one of his platoons, and his brother was just laying there staring at him, waiting for him to come embrace his brother one last time, give him a hug, anything.
- 56:03SPEAKER_04: And he was like crying during this interview about it.
- 56:06SPEAKER_04: And then when they recovered the bodies, he went to go give his brother one last hug and saw all these families there, and saw that some people didn't even have a body to see.
- 56:17SPEAKER_04: So he just stood there and didn't hug his brother.
- 56:20SPEAKER_04: He just stood there and like and comforted all the other families.
- 56:26SPEAKER_04: And he says, to this day, that eats him alive.
- 56:29SPEAKER_04: Now, Iranians believe a lot about dreams.
- 56:32SPEAKER_04: They say dreams are the way they could connect to the spiritual world.
- 56:36SPEAKER_04: So he was like he kept praying and praying that he would see his brother in a dream one day, kept praying and praying, and eventually one day he actually did see his brother, and his brother forgave him and was like, You didn't do anything wrong, you had to do what you had to do.
- 56:53SPEAKER_04: And that's when it kind of like reopened his eyes.
- 56:57SPEAKER_04: So I don't know.
- 56:59SPEAKER_04: The Iranian people are strong, strong people, they have very strong will, and they care a lot about each other, and they care about anyone.
- 57:07SPEAKER_04: You at Lisa, you both of you guys could fly to Iran today, three o'clock in the morning, knock on someone's house.
- 57:15SPEAKER_04: They'll say, Hey, what's up?
- 57:17SPEAKER_04: And you're like, Hey, I just need a place to stay.
- 57:19SPEAKER_04: They'll bring you in, they will make you tea, they will make you bread and feta cheese, they will treat you like family and sit there at 3 o'clock in the morning, have a conversation with you, make you feel comfortable like family.
- 57:31SPEAKER_00: I kind of want to go now.
- 57:35SPEAKER_00: I got a passport.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: I'm a little upset.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, this person ruined my 2026 travel plans.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: I had no plans, I had international travel plans.
- 57:50SPEAKER_02: I'm like, um, I might have to change my passport to Canadian because I'm afraid to travel with it.
- 57:55SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 57:56SPEAKER_02: I don't want to, but yeah, um, definitely on my list.
- 58:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, my my pipe dream places to go.
- 58:03SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna miss them.
- 58:05SPEAKER_04: Hey, listen, you guys want to go to Iran?
- 58:07SPEAKER_04: You let me know.
- 58:08SPEAKER_04: I'll take you guys.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: I'm down.
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: Let me know when I have a let me clean my calendar.
- 58:15SPEAKER_00: Fuck my calendar.
- 58:16SPEAKER_02: I'm in.
- 58:19SPEAKER_02: I am in.
- 58:23SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 58:23SPEAKER_02: Are you gonna cry, Lisa?
- 58:26SPEAKER_02: No, no, but you can just rub your eyes.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: It's not like I'm like, I want to go to red.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm so excited.
- 58:33SPEAKER_00: You want me to?
- 58:34SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 58:36SPEAKER_06: For some tears.
- 58:38SPEAKER_02: I would disconnect if I saw I'm like, okay, I sorry, tears gotta go by.
- 58:42SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 58:43SPEAKER_02: And I find people I don't have feelings.
- 58:47SPEAKER_02: Whether I know whether it's individual or a culture or a family, whatever, what have you, who have a long history of having to be strong.
- 58:59SPEAKER_02: It's shown as people think you're just cold or heartless, or no, it's just the opposite.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: Because internally you're soft as you're mushy and you're soft and you want to die, but you can't.
- 59:11SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 59:12SPEAKER_04: Listen, we're all we're all here for a reason.
- 59:16SPEAKER_04: Everyone has a reason in life to be here.
- 59:19SPEAKER_04: So I still don't know what my reason will be, but at the end of the day, I'm just gonna keep taking it day by day.
- 59:27SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm not I'm not a religious person, I'm not very strong into religion, but I believe that there is some type of higher being out there that is watching over us.
- 59:37SPEAKER_04: And actually, it's funny is like I s like after yesterday, yesterday I was just thinking to myself, I was like, you know what?
- 59:44SPEAKER_04: I wanna actually read the Goran.
- 59:46SPEAKER_04: I want to read the Goran.
- 59:47SPEAKER_04: I want to read the Bible and make comparisons between the two.
- 59:50SPEAKER_04: Because from what I've been hearing from everyone, is that like Americans believe the Goran is very violent, like restrictive on women and whatnot.
- 59:59SPEAKER_04: And it's like, no, no, it's just opposite, actually.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_04: The Goran literally preaches be a good human.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_04: That's all it is.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_04: Be a good human being in life, treat everyone with respect, love everyone, love thy neighbor.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_04: I have to I have yet to meet one Christian that has love thy neighbor, in all honesty.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_05: As soon as they find out I'm Iranian, flips.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_04: It's flips, yes, exactly.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_00: So it's like Iranians believe in loving everyone, and it's also like one of those things where if you're talking to someone and they preface anything that they're gonna say with, well, I'm a good Christian, you know it's about to be shit.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_04: Oh listen, if you have to say you're a good Christian, you were not a good Christian, you know it, and you know it.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: And I just, you know, I feel like it's such a shit thing because you know, at face value, religion, and you can insert any religion, right, is is a really, really beautiful concept because pretty much all of them try to teach us to be good people, to love thy neighbor, to to love your you know, to to put good in the world.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_00: But there's such a fine line between the purity of those teachings and weapons.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_00: And you lose me.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_00: Once it becomes a weapon, you lost me.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_04: Cyrus the Great, like Cyrus the Great, he literally would uh allow any religion to come to Iran, he did not care.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_04: He was like, you have freedom to practice and preach your religion.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_04: We are not gonna stop you.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_04: We are a Muslim country, a Muslim faith, but we're not gonna stop you.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_04: So you could bring Christianity here, you could bring Buddhism, whatever it may be, but we're not gonna suppress you.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_04: We're not gonna make you bite your tongue and feel suppressed.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_00: And that's also like a sense of security in your own belief, right?
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_00: Because if you're secure in your own belief, you don't care what the next person does.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_04: It's exactly who cares, like that's literally love thy neighbor, love them for who they are, love them for what they believe in.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_04: It's it's your belief.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna make you change your mind.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's it's such a crock of like ironic shit here where you know people want to preach, uh blah blah blah, free country, but do this.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: Did anyone else hear that?
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_00: Like exactly.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_04: No, oh, like like with the what with the donations to the church, separation of church and state, but yet when you go to church, you gotta do the donations and whatnot, and then like you hear all these reports on like pastors and priests pocketing the money, right?
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_04: And then you hear reports of them touching little guys, little boys, and everything.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_04: You're just like, what is going on with this world?
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_00: And that's terrible, but aside from that, you wanna same thing, right?
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_00: Separation of church and state.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_00: We're not taxing the churches, but then they want to have influence over elections.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_00: So cool, pay your taxes then.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_00: You don't want to pay our taxes, then you need to z exactly.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_04: Like, just and don't even get me we started with taxes.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we separate from Britain because we wanted to stop paying taxes and now everything is fucking taxed.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_00: Like, what I don't mind paying taxes, but what am I getting from my taxes?
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_02: There's no representation, like no taxation without representation.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_02: We're paying taxes, but we're not really being heard.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_02: And that goes for one shit right in the middle.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_02: Like, none of our government listens.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_05: Our taxes are going to the military.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_05: That's the sad thing.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_04: The majority of our taxes, if you break it down, majority are going to the military, and then you have about 5% of it going to schools and roads.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_04: And like, I mean, in New Jersey, I don't see anything being good about these roads.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_04: My tires have bubbles in them now because of how many potholes I hit.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_02: And then they want to tax the so wait, my income gets taxed.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_02: And then the stuff that I purchased gets taxed.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_05: Oh, but we'll give you clothing in New Jersey.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_02: Everything gets yeah, right.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_02: Everything gets taxed.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_02: And then depending on my tax refund from a year ago, my reef that's gonna get taxed on this refund.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_02: Make it make sense for me.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_00: But okay, it does make sense if you follow the money.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: That was yeah.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_04: It's they have representation, but it good luck finding what we're actually paying towards.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_02: That's the whole point for companies who don't pay tax.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_02: You have one percent.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_02: You're including those no taxes because they have all these loopholes.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_04: The more money you make, the less taxes you pay.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_04: The less money you make, the more taxes you pay.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_02: And then they get more representation because lobbying should be illegal, personally.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_02: We're all aware that the Fortune 500 companies are actually our government.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_02: Let's be real.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_02: And that has something to do with right, left.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_02: That's the government period.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_02: Let's be real.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_02: I think we should just burn it all down and start from scratch.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_04: You know, if I had one wish, if I had one wish, you might want to bleep this out, but I would say every motherfucking politician in office, I don't care who you are, throw them into like some type of camp, I don't care.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_04: Well, and get rid of all politicians, and just like honestly, okay.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_04: I don't know how if you guys like are familiar too much with Bernie Sanders, liberal here.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_04: Like Bernie Sanders.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_04: Bernie Sanders, I was following him a lot, especially back when he was first running for office.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_04: I went to one of his speeches, and that man literally did not get any money from any lobbies.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_04: No one would support him because of his ideals and his mindset, no one could buy him out.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_04: He would have won the election if it wasn't for the electoral colleges and for all the shady shit going on in the behind the scenes.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_04: The the US should not be a two party state.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_04: The Democrats and Republicans.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_04: It should be uh open where you can have a liberal, you can have someone from the Green Party, but people are scared of change.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_04: That's the big thing.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_04: The American people are scared of change, even if it's gonna be for the greater good.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_02: I think we really need to look at the French Revolution.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_02: They came together, tore it down, they tore that shit down.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_03: They set up a guillotine and cut off the head of their leader back then.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_02: But as a country, we are so divided within our own borders.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_02: I know we talk like history would tell you countries will fight amongst themselves.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_02: But when it came down to the per like the bigger picture, they came together.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_02: Our country, if it came to a civil war.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: If we came to a war, we someone else's war, we'll still be divided.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, let me see.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, we we're never gonna get together.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_02: And I don't think we can be compared as an empire because I guess kind of at one point we were, but all empires fail.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_02: They all fall.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_02: It's about time we fall.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_02: I hate to say that.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_04: And it is coming, that's the thing, too.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_02: It's coming, and we're doing it to ourselves.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_02: No one is uh attacking us, we did it to ourselves.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_00: That's that's the most um like the saddest part is that we're doing it to ourselves.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_04: Iran put out a statement.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_00: We're the dumbest fucking place.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_04: We are because Iran put out a statement literally to cover their asses.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_04: They're like, hey, California, if you guys have any drone strikes or missiles hitting you guys, just know our technology is not advanced enough to have a drone reach your country.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_04: We don't have the distance to reach you guys.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_04: So if they say that Iran dro did a drone strike on you, no, your government is lying to you because we don't have the range.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_04: Iran does like their military, yeah, they have advanced military.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_04: They could wipe out Israel, they could wipe out anyone in that region, but the US is way too far away for them to do any direct strikes there.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_04: So they have to put out statements saying, hey, yeah, you're you know your government's lying to you.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_04: Everyone knows that.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_04: So just make sure that if this does happen, you know who to look at and not us.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_04: Even though we know most of the American people are probably still gonna look at it wrong and be like, oh, they did it even though two weeks ago they don't have the technology to hit us.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, if they believed in fake attacks, they would have already been they would have already been.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_00: Fake, yeah.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_04: Oh lord.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this government is good at fake attacks.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_04: So yeah, now we're all on a watch list.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_02: I'm sure we've been a watch list for a minute already.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_02: You know, there's that.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the team.
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, hey, listen.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_04: As soon as they saw I have two citizenships in Iran, I'm on a watch list.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_02: Look at you.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_02: I'm stuck here.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_00: They'll they'll ship us out to like Uganda or some shit.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_02: People like, well, aren't you afraid to travel international?
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_02: What if you can't come back?
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_02: I'm like, all right.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, what problem?
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_02: Like at this thing.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_03: Hey, all right.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_03: Hey Alex, I'm sorry, I'm stuck in Aruba.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_02: I'm afraid they're gonna go.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_02: They're like, oh no, you can't no turn back and go back.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_02: That's my biggest fear.
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_02: But what?
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_02: I can't come back to the United States.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_02: Oh well, me and my my daughter and my grandkids, we're just gonna sit out here in this wonderful country that you know.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't mind.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_02: I have no baby.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_02: Maybe I go to Amsterdam.
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_02: I like tulips.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna ride a bicycle to work every day.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_00: I'm okay with that.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_04: You see, my mind went somewhere else with Amsterdam.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's not where her mind went.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_00: No, I mean now it is.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_00: Now it is.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_00: I kind of want to go there for the canals and stuff.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_04: The canals are beautiful.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_04: I've been to Amsterdam.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_00: That's yeah, like that's what I keep hearing.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: Is that like a Mr.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_04: Worldwide?
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_00: You well traveled.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_04: I know Dubai, Germany, Italy, Paris, uh, Sicily, Santorini, Aruba.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_06: Where else are I done?
- 1:11:11SPEAKER_04: I've been over to the US too.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_02: Aruba, Ryan, Aruba.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_02: With all due respect, you ready?
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_04: Fuck you, Ryan.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_04: I love it.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_04: I literally just got back from Aruba, too.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I heard that was saying that always like Lisa and Santina, I would send them photos, and they're like, fuck you.
- 1:11:32unknown: Fuck you.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_04: That looks beautiful, but fuck you.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_02: Fuck you.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_02: So I knew you were like that.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_04: Well, the benefits of having a dad that works for the airlines, I literally was getting free flights up until I was 25.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_02: That's really nice.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_02: I am still 25.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_02: Um, I have grandkids, but I'm still 25.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_02: And are we related?
- 1:11:55SPEAKER_02: I think I thought we were like like long-lost cousins or something.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_04: I I wish that ever since 9-11 they got rid of the buddy pass.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_04: It used to be unlimited people you can add to it.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_04: 9-11 gives 10 people, they have to be on that list for two years minimum.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_04: Damn it.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_04: And I lost my privileges anyways, because uh I'm older now, 29 years old.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_04: My dad still gets it for free.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_04: My mom still gets it for free.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_04: Because that's my yeah, but the kids know we we get put on the buddy pass, but we don't do that anymore because it's always flying standby.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_02: It's standby, yeah.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_04: My wife hates it.
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_02: No, I'd rather pay and just have my seats.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because she doesn't want to sit by herself either.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_04: So it's always we gotta be next to each other.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_04: So I'm like, you know what?
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_04: We're not even gonna risk with the standby stuff.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_02: Do you know what pisses me off?
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_02: I because I can imagine if you're flying with multiple people, I go by myself and I buy my ticket, and then oh, guess what?
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_02: They move my seat.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_02: You move my seat from an aisle to a middle.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_02: Fuck you, fuck your mama.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_02: You're gonna fix this.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_02: So I remember it's one flight.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_02: I don't, I think it was going to be.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_02: I was probably going to see you at one point.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_02: My flight got my seat got changed twice from when I purchased a ticket until when I and I I was like, nope, fix this.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_02: I so I can imagine when you're flying with multiple people and at the last minute they want to change your seat.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_02: Why am I changing this?
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_04: Are you doing this like through a third party, like priceline hotels with a website?
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_02: Recently I have been, but no, I usually just go, I try to go straight to their website.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_02: The website recently, because I'm like, you're gonna fuck me over anyway.
- 1:13:39SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm let me try to save something.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_04: Might as well, yeah.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_04: Because I was gonna say, usually when you go through those third parties, they reserve the seat, they don't really get you the seat.
- 1:13:47SPEAKER_04: What I usually do is like if I'm booking a flight, I book it in advance, where their like comfort plus extra leg room seat is only like 40 bucks extra.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_04: So I'm like, all right, I'm gonna spend the$40 to get this seat, have more leg room, be in the front of the plane so I can be in priority A, whatever, so I can be the first ones on the plane, don't have to worry about checking in my bags and whatnot.
- 1:14:11SPEAKER_04: I always do that because I always look at the prices afterwards.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_04: Literally, like a week before, they shoot up to about$189.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_04: So I'm like, get it in the advance, buy it right then there.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_04: You're guaranteed that seat.
- 1:14:25SPEAKER_04: If they try to move your seat, I would fight them and I would try to get bumped up into first class.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_04: I've had that happen before, actually.
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, I thought you want my seat, but oh, first class.
- 1:14:36SPEAKER_02: But interesting.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_02: I'm at the travel because I'm one of those I like to buy my ticket as soon as I know I can go.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_02: And I might like watch it and see if it drops.
- 1:14:46SPEAKER_02: You know, I'll give it like a week or two.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_04: Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_02: Thursdays.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_04: Tuesdays and Thursdays, buy the tickets then.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_04: Try to fly out those days as well because those are dead dead zone days.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_04: No one wants to fly out on a Tuesday or land on a Tuesday.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_04: The flights are a lot cheaper on those days.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_02: Also, hotels, because because all the people like the business class, the people who are there for work, they're already gone.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:15:11SPEAKER_02: I Tuesdays and Thursdays, I love flying in on a Thursday and flying out on a Tuesday.
- 1:15:16unknown: Yeah.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_02: But I need to go travel more.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, I can't because all the fucking headaches.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_02: There goes, yeah.
- 1:15:26SPEAKER_02: I was gonna try to go to Morocco.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_02: That was on our trying to plan it.
- 1:15:31SPEAKER_02: Like, okay, this should be our plan for the 2026.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_02: We're like, let's wait, because I just don't want the headache.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_02: No risks.
- 1:15:40unknown: Right.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_04: We were worried about we were worried about getting stuck at the airport or anything like that in Aeroba.
- 1:15:46SPEAKER_04: But we went to JFK.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_04: By the way, Lisa, JFK, it only took us 20 minutes to get through customs and TSA.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's good.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_04: We went at four o'clock in the morning, or like we got so parked our car at three o'clock, got to the ho uh airport at 3 30, 4 o'clock.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_04: Took us 20 minutes.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_04: I didn't see a single ice agent.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_04: There was not even anyone in the lines.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_04: We just walked right through, went in, left, and then when we were in Aruba, the same thing.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_04: It we got dropped off.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_04: We walked in, there was no one in the airport.
- 1:16:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because um, somebody that I know that works for the airlines, he was telling me that when he's at the counter doing check-ins, that he's had like ice agents literally standing right next to him in the watching, and he's like, they they can grab anybody's passport documents.
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_00: He's like, and I I can't say shit about it.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_00: In JFK, they were supposed to be helping with the backlog.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:16:47SPEAKER_04: JFK though, apparently New York is not about ice.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_04: There's been NYPD that had been arresting ICE agents and arresting them for kidnapping.
- 1:16:59SPEAKER_00: I fucking love my city.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_04: I know, right?
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_02: Fucking represent the one good thing about this bullshit with the Gestapo is that people are finding a newfound love for our police.
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_02: So you're like, oh, look at how that happened.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like get get okay, you're on this right side.
- 1:17:22SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm loving this.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_04: In in like Michigan and like uh Oklahoma, there's apparently a bunch of people that are like just straight up white Americans putting Mexican flags, any type of flag on the back of their car just to get ice agents to pull them over and waste their time.
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_04: They've just genuinely been doing that now.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_04: I'm like, use your privilege for I'm like I like these people.
- 1:17:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, use your privilege.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_02: Use like I said, like use your privilege for good, you know.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I love that instead of risk of like getting arrested in a protest or like trying to block the ice agent.
- 1:18:00SPEAKER_00: Although, as we've seen, even white people are not immune.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_04: Hey, listen, I wouldn't if they if they pick me up, hell.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_04: In a few years, that's gonna be a nice chunky lawsuit right there.
- 1:18:14SPEAKER_00: Emotional stress countries last long enough to be seen.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_00: If you last long enough to be seen, but yeah.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_04: United States of America, not United as much, it's just states of America now.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_00: Just states, just state of what what state are we in?
- 1:18:31SPEAKER_05: Which state are we in?
- 1:18:32SPEAKER_05: Yeah, confusion.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_05: We're like on the curve right now.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_05: Are we going down or are we just gonna keep riding?
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_01: And it changes week to week.
- 1:18:40SPEAKER_01: You don't know what you're feeling.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that happened.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know how many times we've won the war so far in Iran and how many times we're like at a standstill.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_04: We're in a treaty now.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_04: No, we actually won the war.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_05: No, we're losing the war.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_00: Meanwhile, Iran is like, what you smoking?
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_00: That's well, and all the while, right?
- 1:18:57SPEAKER_00: No, no new wars, the president of peace.
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you talking about, homie?
- 1:19:02SPEAKER_00: Like and it's been a year and we've what attacked two different, three different countries, two countries with the threat of a third.
- 1:19:09SPEAKER_05: Like, what the f yeah, Iran.
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_00: We Iran, Venezuela, Venezuela, yeah, and then like you know, and then Mexico with the cartel.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_00: We killed the cartel leaders, and let's also threaten Greenland, but like Oh, and now they're with the Falcon Islands.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, but but tell me again how this is.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_00: There's no oil there.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_00: I feel like the smoke coming out of your ears is gonna malfunction your head while you try to do like mental gymnastics, monopoly he doesn't realize this is real life.
- 1:19:37SPEAKER_00: No, but like, but then but then what's worse is all the people who are like no no no, but this.
- 1:19:41SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, yeah, but this, oh yeah, yeah, but this.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_00: And all the while it's like, you know, the the the warning, warning, warning, the the cobs are gonna, you know, explode because that just fucking idiots that are like um like there was a comedian that's justifying it.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_04: A comedian once said he was like, So, how do you like how do you summon the US?
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_04: Like, how do you get Americans to go somewhere?
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_04: All you gotta do is just dig a little hole, throw some oil in there, and then all of a sudden you just see the US military is all invading that little hole.
- 1:20:19SPEAKER_00: I think you just found your inappropriate joke.
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there you go.
- 1:20:23SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's the same thing.
- 1:20:25SPEAKER_03: How to get the US involved, just throw some oil on the ground and they'll get there.
- 1:20:28SPEAKER_01: Throw some oil that's an appropriate, inappropriate joke.
- 1:20:30SPEAKER_01: Love it.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_04: There you go.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_04: There you go.
- 1:20:32SPEAKER_04: You can snip that into the beginning.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_00: Inappropriate joke loading in 45 minutes.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_00: Got it.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned.
- 1:20:43SPEAKER_04: Oh man, this has been great.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_04: I am so happy you guys invited me.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_04: Thank you so much.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_00: We appreciate you, yeah.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, especially like sensitive topics.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_04: So hey, listen, I'm I'm an open book, you know that already.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm so happy to be able to talk, and I'm a talker, as you can tell.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_00: I know, but like, but what you might feel comfortable talking to me about or us about may not what you feel comfortable talking about in public.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_00: So appreciate it.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_04: Listen, of course.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_04: Anytime you guys want me to do spotlight, I'm always available.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, don't say that because we can we're gonna give you a call in a couple of months when we're gonna be like, hey, what are you doing in five minutes?
- 1:21:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'll be like, uh, nothing.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_04: Hit me up.
- 1:21:27SPEAKER_04: What do you need?
- 1:21:29SPEAKER_04: We can talk about my dad next time.
- 1:21:30SPEAKER_04: I can tell you all the stories.
- 1:21:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, can we have him on love to have him on?
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_01: You want my dad on?
- 1:21:36SPEAKER_01: I will talk to him.
- 1:21:39SPEAKER_02: I would love to have him on.
- 1:21:40SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_04: I will.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I could have my mom and my dad.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_04: My mom had uh actually went through the Iran-Iraq war, she was living in Iran during that time.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_04: There was a wedding that Iraq was targeting an oil facility.
- 1:21:56SPEAKER_04: They missed by a few blocks and hit a wedding instead that was only like five or ten blocks from my parents' house.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_04: And my grandpa, my grandpa from my mom, my dad's side, found like heard the explosion, and he ran, I don't remember how many, like 15-20 blocks, to my mom's family to check on them to make sure they were still alive and everything was okay.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_04: My mom, when she was younger, she was playing in the like she was playing outside.
- 1:22:27SPEAKER_04: She grabbed uh electric line and was being electrocuted holding that line, and I think it was her dad or her brother, someone knocked her down from there.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_04: So, like, my mom has been through the ringer.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_04: My dad has been through the ringer.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_04: It would be a good conversation.
- 1:22:45SPEAKER_02: I would love to speak with them, and you know what?
- 1:22:47SPEAKER_02: I what you know what I would love to do if I lived in Jersey?
- 1:22:51SPEAKER_02: I would love to have a dinner party because I feel like it would be an amazing dinner party.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_02: The conversation in advance.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_00: Go get your plane ticket, buy it in advance.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_02: I will also have to buy a house so I can have the dinner party, you know.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_03: Oh no, my parents will host.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_03: My parents will host.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 1:23:12SPEAKER_02: They're they're full of customers.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_02: I'll buy my ticket now.
- 1:23:15SPEAKER_02: Let me know when I can show up.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_02: And just let us know what we can bring.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and have a dress.
- 1:23:23SPEAKER_04: You know, how fancy I will have a talk with them.
- 1:23:25SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna have a talk with them and see if they'll be down to.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_04: So that would be fun.
- 1:23:29SPEAKER_00: That would be absolutely fucking amazing.
- 1:23:31SPEAKER_04: Honestly, I would love to hear this story.
- 1:23:32SPEAKER_02: So I don't think I am a um a huge proponent of people telling their own stories as opposed to allowing someone else tell their story for them.
- 1:23:44SPEAKER_04: 100%, yeah, because coming from the horse's mouth is a lot better than hearing it from the horse's mouth.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_02: You have people that want to take your story, they're like as well they see it and then twist it, and it doesn't make sense.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 1:23:57SPEAKER_02: It gets used and butchered, and right.
- 1:24:03SPEAKER_02: So I would love to hear the number of things.
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_04: Hey, everyone listening, stay tuned.
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_04: The Zabihia Lamb family might be on soon.
- 1:24:13unknown: Oh, hello.

- 1:24:21SPEAKER_03: You know, I got nothing else to do, you know, just sitting outside of store.
- 1:24:25SPEAKER_00: You could fit us in into your life when you had nothing else to do.
- 1:24:28SPEAKER_04: I you know, like my my schedule's pretty packed, as you can tell.
- 1:24:32SPEAKER_02: I'm very busy, you're a very busy man.
- 1:24:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well, you you got lucky, Lisa, because my um the GC I work with, uh, by the way, shout out Guardian Builders LLC.

- 1:24:58SPEAKER_04: So the guy's food, oh my god, he makes the best steaks.
- 1:25:03SPEAKER_04: Urban eats food truck.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_04: He is the only food truck allowed on Amazon property.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_04: The only food truck.
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_02: I'm so hungry now.
- 1:25:16SPEAKER_04: Urban Eats.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_02: Is there an app for food trucks?
- 1:25:21SPEAKER_02: I think is there an app for food trucks?
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_02: I don't know, but I feel like why they should be that way you can always find your food truck.
- 1:25:27SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_04: We should we should make an app.
- 1:25:29SPEAKER_04: That's a good idea.
- 1:25:30SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't know how to code, but I can design.
- 1:25:34SPEAKER_04: I got you on the coding.
- 1:25:36SPEAKER_00: I could tell you what to do.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_00: I could boss you around.
- 1:25:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah, at least it's good at that bossing people around.

- 1:26:12SPEAKER_00: Michael Scott and Dwight, you know?
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:26:15SPEAKER_04: And I'm not sure which one that makes me, but listen, I may be might I might have the title of SIF supervisor, but when I work with Lisa, she's the supervisor.
- 1:26:26SPEAKER_04: I just kind of like I'm like, all right, you know, I I trust you guys.
- 1:26:29SPEAKER_04: You guys do what you gotta do.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna go do everything I need to, which is basically just clean the whole entire store so we can get out at nine o'clock rather than 9 30, you know?
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_02: That works.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_02: I take care of my he he he works.
- 1:26:43SPEAKER_02: Imagine he works.

- 1:26:54SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah, I'm not a white unicorn, but I got the green stripes all over me.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_05: Because I'm a Starbucks unicorn.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_05: The green for Starbucks, a unicorn when you think of a unicorn as a white horse with a unicorn, you know?
- 1:27:09SPEAKER_05: That's why I don't know.
- 1:27:12SPEAKER_02: But I didn't even smoke.
