- 0:39I'm gonna go on the way you vegan. Welcome, Welcome, welcome.
- 0:47You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock Wayne Candy, Good
- 0:51morning to you out there listening land coming into the busiest week of the year.
- 0:58When you talk about flying next seven eight days with the fourth of July
- 1:03upon a summer, whether airports should be crowded people trying to get in and
- 1:10out of town. I remember here in the A, even though we are
- 1:15the world's busiest airport, it really is nowhere to park. You'd be better
- 1:21off like just letting somebody drop you off on the highway and walking over.
- 1:26There is literally nowhere to park at Hartsfield Jackson clean the construction and how many
- 1:34people drive too. You got to realize that we have the thing in Atlanta.
- 1:42It's not just that we don't have a busting public transportation corps that would
- 1:49help, but this is a driving city. For those that are born in
- 1:56the raised in the Southern States, we were drivers, We were talked to
- 2:01drive, and when you did get some money, you're one of your Your
- 2:06real first purchase of independence was finding you a piece of car. And they
- 2:10literally used to call it that a piece of car, not a whole car,
- 2:17just something that a ride. The piece mean that there's always gonna be
- 2:23something you gotta fix, but you got a car. That was your goal
- 2:29in growing up down here. And everybody drive so no matter where, how
- 2:34many carpool lanes and that, and that's the part of the traffic. It's
- 2:38the same thing at the airport. Everybody you can drive out of airport and
- 2:44every spot is taken you you wouldn't know where to go park like then they're
- 2:50parked there for a while. It's not like two days. It's like you
- 2:53ride that car, been there. It's dusty. That's how long it's being
- 2:59so dusty out there. So just watch yourself, get you a ride,
- 3:04have somebody drop you off. That is the best way to go. You
- 3:07can't excuse me, you can't tell them walk on the highway though, you
- 3:12can't tell I can't. Now, you know these people to get out on
- 3:15the highway and get hit, well, they need to get some exercise.
- 3:17They're already delivering their grocery. Get some exercise. Not the point if somebody
- 3:23get hit, they'll be like, what said, no, I said walk?
- 3:27You said, get dropped up? Better off getting dropped off on the
- 3:30highway and just walk over across the street. You see. So now you
- 3:32don't encourage people to the I don't believe in that kind of That's what's wrong
- 3:37with our country right now. I believe that's too. But then, what
- 3:40kind of car you said? A piece of what a piece of car?
- 3:45Not a not a pizza car like a pizza see a slice of a cup?
- 3:53Right when you get to the stop sign, you got to put it
- 3:57in neutral and keep hitting. The grig is in the building. Been Kenny,
- 4:00the funny man himself, the bad producer. Great weekend here in Atlanta,
- 4:04great weekend and the secondary sports. Secondary sports. I say that from
- 4:11a sense of Olympic trials. Was this weekend and ladies and gentlemen, After
- 4:16watching the Olympic trials, I have now moved the hundred yard dash is really
- 4:28maybe the weakest track and feel event. They sold it to us as it's
- 4:34the greatest. I don't think the person that can run one hundred meters deserves
- 4:40that much credit. After watching the Olympic trials. When I watch now,
- 4:46those people that run that hundred in three minutes and fifty five seconds need a
- 4:53salute one hundred and three minutes when they run the mile on the mile,
- 5:00Okay, they run that mile race okay, okay in three fifty okay,
- 5:05yeah, they need a salute. The hundred is just you don't even have
- 5:12to breathe. Muscles don't even tighten up. I watched the hundred, I
- 5:17watched the eight hundred, I watched the fifteen hundred, I watched the five
- 5:20thousand, I watched the ten thousand. That's training and see that's real every
- 5:27day. I'm in shit. I don't even know that one hundred meter runners
- 5:29are in shape, sir. And I would say, you say, you
- 5:34said you watched it. Take off the ten thousand. See I don't eat.
- 5:40I still don't believe that event really exists. If he sitting around there,
- 5:43ain't nobody running. No ten thousand me. It takes like thirty minutes
- 5:46that sprint thirty minutes. Now have that of Spain. I always tell people
- 5:51they lying ain't nobody running, No, no, no tenth times. And
- 5:55this young lady, Sidney McLaughlin lev run whatever. Drop that part off,
- 6:01Take that off until you retire. Sydney. Just go back to Sydney mcloughy.
- 6:08And I respect your husband, love him, stay with it. Do
- 6:12he run if he formed an NFL player, play about two years I think
- 6:15with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now he just carries her bag, which is big
- 6:19bags to carry, but her dominance is. And I'm from a track background,
- 6:29meaning that being in the state of Florida, the number two attraction outside
- 6:33of football in my state was track me. It was kind of like old
- 6:42stories of Jesse James. Right. You just be in chemistry class and somebody
- 6:48will come in with some information about a kid from Pensacola. Now, I
- 6:53remember, nobody at the school ever been outside the county. Hey kid,
- 7:00Pensacola kid at the state national four two three. Oh man, that's impossible.
- 7:09It's not impossible. I've seen it with my own eyes and the paper
- 7:13that somebody just feel it's big time. To be the fastest man in Florida
- 7:18means that you're most likely one of the top two or three fastest people in
- 7:23the country. Means that eventually I'm probably gonna hear your name up for the
- 7:28Olympics. That's how fast to have that trophy in Florida. But this young
- 7:34lady running these four hundred meter hurdles and her dominance seems unfair. I can
- 7:42see how sometimes officials feel like you need to get tested. I'd be wanting
- 7:51to test Sydney. I'd be want to just call her over, get a
- 7:56little quick sample of the blood and go from her dominant. How are you
- 8:01dominating? How is it nobody she's doing the flow, Joe? Why is
- 8:07there nobody in the picture frame? Like the camera is having to zoom out
- 8:13to catch who's in sect? The closest competitive she made? What happened to
- 8:18her? Just being in her bag? She in her bag, that's her
- 8:22thing. She everybody else sitting around trying to do TikTok challenges and come up
- 8:30with a name for their new advertising campaign, and she's just out there left
- 8:33right, left right. Every day and now I ain't got to talk about
- 8:39it. I'm gonna be about it now. Would test my blood gets up
- 8:41of the blood I'm saying, I'm sure it's the Olympic trial. Somebody everywhere
- 8:46with a cups master world record yesterday, which was her world record. Wow
- 8:54over a cheezer. Yeah, she's broken the world record and she's twenty four.
- 8:58She's broken the record her like five times already. So she she playing
- 9:03with everybody right now. Yeah, she's just playing with us. She told
- 9:07the announces that she she thinks today she was gonna run the whole race.
- 9:11Yeah, she's playing with us. How do you? How do you?
- 9:16How do you? I bet you? I bet I bet you, I
- 9:20beat myself. I bet you. I don't I bet you. I bet
- 9:24you with But it's just amazing to watch and and and those performances that I
- 9:28just can't press enough. When you watch, I know, we're all giddy
- 9:33and and and they throw that hundred in your face as the benchmark, and
- 9:39it's cute and all that, but to really watch these other athletes and understand
- 9:46it's a whole different training between sprinting one hundred meters and basically sprinting a mile
- 9:56like that, that's a long you know, running and getting somewhere in under
- 10:01eight seconds. Though, excuse me, you're getting one hundred meters in less
- 10:05than eight seconds though they don't think that's no, that's nothing. That's not
- 10:09even conditioning. A way you could look at it is Shikari Richardson one in
- 10:15the trials for the hundred. In the two hundred, I think she finished
- 10:18fourth, right, So that longer distance, even like with two hundred meters,
- 10:24I mean, it's not all like you you see. Seeing more a
- 10:30longer distance, you'll kind of see like who the who can really hold that
- 10:33that top speed or whatever? Yeah, the mile I was the ladies mile
- 10:39yesterday. Lady ran three minutes and fifty five seconds the mile. In the
- 10:48mile, it takes me three minutes fifty five seconds to drive a milep atlant
- 10:54up for real, you know. I just yeah, the hundred is an
- 11:01explosion and we like to make it seem but watching just showed me everybody else
- 11:09is training. The one hundred meters runner is not training sportshack. I believe,
- 11:16not even a distance to train. I believe you because just now I
- 11:18was trying to imitate the hundred yard dash and then the race is over.
- 11:24I can't even go for a thousand meters. I didn't even make that noise
- 11:31for thirty minutes. I'd be exhausted. And these people are running flat out
- 11:37for thousands of Yeah. I understand what you're saying, because even as we
- 11:43go, even in something like the four hundred, they're running four hundred meters
- 11:48at a pace of basically ten seconds every hundred meters. That's what they're running.
- 12:00That's way more impressive. Ten seconds every one hundred meters the whole to
- 12:03be able to run a forty second and you got a whole another one hundred
- 12:07meters to keep right back. Wow, that is Yeah, it's impressive.
- 12:09We'll be back more to sports talk show right after this. Want to have

- 15:16present the Jock of the day on the Sports Jock Shows, taking it to
- 15:20a completely different level this year, where we highlight an athlete that has taken
- 15:24their game to the next level. Don't never stop if you want to feel
- 15:30top year, No waste that bat baby tap be in taff in diamonds.
- 15:35That's not your neck. Better tap in ta tap in Getting money done?
- 15:41Rich Baby tap in tat ta tap in MLB, I think game, better
- 15:46tap in wait rack in the Sports Shock Show. I'm in the Sports Shock
- 15:52Wayne Candy. How do y'all like those kind of songs like that when they
- 15:58like basically capitalized on somebody else's previous success. It's been having a through the
- 16:07industry for years. I didn't I didn't say it didn't happen. That's why,
- 16:11as sir, I'm just saying you feel about it. I have mixed
- 16:15feelings about it. I have mixed feelings about it. One it's it's often
- 16:22for me, I'm pleasurable to hear the old school beat, but it offends
- 16:30me when I hear people trying to give this artist credit for that, Like
- 16:34have you heard they knew they slapped with that, and on they just played
- 16:38somebody's beat and rapped over it on that's and then you have to go back
- 16:44and give them the history of it, and it's like, oh, but
- 16:47they still did it, Like, no, they didn't do it better because
- 16:49they didn't change anything. They just took two shorts voice like in this particular
- 16:55track, took his voice off of it. George, I mean, I'm
- 16:59echo any same thing. You know. Basically, Oh man, somebody say
- 17:04that you hear the new song and then you hear it in the beat,
- 17:07but then it takes me back to that point in time when we started realizing
- 17:11that hearing this, oh, that's an old song and it's something that's just
- 17:15recycled, and it's just depends on some songs I don't think you should touch.
- 17:21That's just my opinion. There's there's some songs you shouldn't touch. But
- 17:26now I'm saying, when you say shouldn't touch, there are samples, say
- 17:30there are cover versions, cover version, you do the song word for word,
- 17:34but you just perform. But I'm thinking there's some songs in there,
- 17:37samples like we just heard. But I'm saying, like as far as one.
- 17:41But they, like I said once again as a DJ, sometimes you
- 17:45if you do play that, if I do play that, I'll try to
- 17:48throw in the too short to let people know, hey, he had it
- 17:52first. Yeah I got. I got mixed feelings about it because it's,
- 17:56uh, it's been a cheap, a cheap way to get music out there
- 18:03for the last few years by not even like remixing the beat. Just take
- 18:08that beat and that's the And that's what me and you agree where it is.
- 18:15Music has always been jumbled up samples and stuff like that, but you
- 18:19should try to hide the sample, or at least you used to have it
- 18:23come to you halfway through the song. Oh man, that's an old change
- 18:30brown yeah song. But now it's the song. And I'm just gonna do
- 18:37some different verses on top of it and sell it like I'm winning. I'm
- 18:41just wondering how music because all of us are into music. It's just blake
- 18:45now there is no and I tried to hide it from you or make you
- 18:51ponder which song is it. And I use the phrase offend because again when
- 18:57I go, oh that's and people go, oh man, that ain't no
- 19:03crime, Like that's not a big deal, Like, hey man, they
- 19:06just stole his song and took his voice off of people go, oh,
- 19:08that's no big deal. They do that all. I hate when they try
- 19:11to act as though like the newer one is better than the old one on
- 19:17that old one. All that's tired. That's tired. It's not tired.
- 19:21Well, what's never gonna get tired is the James family. Lebron James,
- 19:27Jenny Buss. The Lakers last week drafting Bronnie James Bron Bron and the second
- 19:37round bringing him home to La. He can stay at the house, kick
- 19:47it with his mom. Mom can cook that skinless chicken breast and fat free
- 19:52broccoli for him and Bryce the younger, because you know, the little girl
- 19:57is the one that's mad MoMA in they're making meals. She don't want the
- 20:02little daughter. She wants something with some sugar and some of that stuff in
- 20:08it, brunning them in there with you know, dehydrated, fat free property.
- 20:18That's enough, Like what more do you want to torture me with?
- 20:21But the Lakers making the move that they should have made, drafting Lebron James's
- 20:26son with a fifty fifth pick. As we talked about nepotism. I keep
- 20:33seeing people keep trying to label it that. I think the consensus of our
- 20:40panel last week is that we don't even understand what nepotism is. My understanding
- 20:45of nepotism from what I thought, is when I hire my brother who didn't
- 20:52graduate from high school to run Boeing, that's nepotism to me. But nepotism
- 21:06is it I hired my brother, who has four degrees from MIT and to
- 21:12run Boeing. That's not nepotism to me. That's making it a family business.
- 21:19In this case, Brunnie James picked fifty five. He was rated as
- 21:25one of the top fifty five sixty players, So it wasn't like they kept
- 21:30pushing him to go higher. The sales of his jersey, the T shirts
- 21:34skyrocket at what second round pick do you know that's going to generate not just
- 21:41for the Lakers, but even when you send him to the G League team
- 21:45where that's most likely, well, here's spent a year or two. You
- 21:51send him down there, Scottie Pippen junior, and he out there on one
- 21:55of their teams and somebody else's son and you you know, let him pla
- 22:00the Bulls. Just Rich Paul said, he's not he's not playing in the
- 22:06g That's what Rich. He's not signing a two way contract. He's signed
- 22:08a regular contract. But that's good for what Rich. I'm not as fine,
- 22:15Rich, I don't know what Rich Paul had. That's good for him.
- 22:18I'm talking about the possibilities that are laid before him without even negotiate.
- 22:26If he went to camp and all I had to do was send him to
- 22:29the G League, it's still profitable for me as an organization. Now,
- 22:37I don't know in the preseason, I can play him with his dad,
- 22:41correct, So even that is sellout. So you're talking about the three or
- 22:45four preseason games, so it's going to be sellouts. Just to see if
- 22:49Lebron to Lebron because that Brunni's name, Lebron. Yeah, so Lebron to
- 22:56Lebron. Yeah. So you know, it's it's just a great thing to
- 23:02see. I'm quite sure. The family and any time you have brothers,
- 23:07any kind of relations Doc Rivers to his son, those are just special moments
- 23:14that you probably never the Morris and Morris twins, any of that kind of
- 23:18stuff is just great to be able to see the holidays, Drew and the
- 23:25nine other names of them, nine of them It drew in two and you
- 23:30and him and Nim all the holiday Christmas and East and all the day.
- 23:37It's a whole bunch of the holidays. There's a bunch of holidays, just
- 23:41you know, a magical moment. I let you guys, when we come
- 23:42back from break way in on Bronnie James Free agency did start last night.
- 23:48Paul George has already decided to take his talents to a whole nother coast so
- 23:52that in more of the NBA when we get back, what Man's a Street,

- 26:03and I never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when my

- 26:11now to say that I'm a part of this family. I am surrounded by

- 27:52even when they don't deserve say that. Can't can't say that you can't deserve
- 27:57deserve meaning that you didn't do any thing more than you did yesterday. That's
- 28:02all. God bless the us, get more, God bless the hustle.
- 28:06You can't be mad like getting to raise and then show up the work.
- 28:10Don't be mad. It's all that's called smart. But by the you know,
- 28:15no, take it from listen, take it from an athlete. We
- 28:19don't deserve any of what we get now, Hush, we don't deserve.
- 28:26We're playing a game. It's just it's something that this sounds counterintuitive. I
- 28:32swear you can't because it's just something that y'all like to pay. It doesn't
- 28:37really, it's not worth what it's paid. Sports. Don't do that.
- 28:41Don't because if you make them believe that paying to see you get hit by
- 28:45other big men ain't worth it. No me telling a joke I would show
- 28:49gon't be worth it, but none, none of the entertainment is worth what
- 28:52it is. Well, I tell you I work hard at that standing on
- 28:56stage. It's it's one of the true exploitations of the human person. One
- 29:06of the insurance is one of the true exploitations. I am insulted, sir.
- 29:11Do you know how hard it is to wait about nine to see you
- 29:19all to work in the conversation in a sense that I'm putting it down.
- 29:22Do whatever you're doing. Fine, But paying a basketball player two hundred million
- 29:30dollars for four years, which is the equivalent of maybe three hundred games.
- 29:34That's three hundred and fifty games. That's if he makes them all versus a
- 29:42whole school full of teachers. Ye, don't make that in four years school
- 29:52go to the local high school and the whole school system of that high school.
- 29:57It's not two hundred million dollars. No, So don't think that's why
- 30:07it is a blessing. And I'm not telling you not to go do it.
- 30:11Go do it, but come on, now, let's not be that's
- 30:15the delusional part I never sold myself. I think that's the part that I
- 30:21always grasp and understand was a blessing and helped me play a long time that
- 30:26this is not this is really kind of stupid in a sense. Humans like
- 30:32to be entertained. We do. We do God exactly the same God.
- 30:37There's not a lot of money, but it's not like it entertains really actually
- 30:42pushes us forward as much as it is rewarded. It just don't the kind
- 30:49of money. But people like that. Most of the people's budget, I
- 30:52mean, entertainment probably the second highest thing in someone's household outside of their mortgage
- 31:02that they spend it. When you tally at the end of the year,
- 31:04you sit there and you start, you know, you've spent six seven thousand
- 31:08dollars on entertainment. And remember entertainment is music, movies, yes, live,
- 31:18yeah, all of that, all of those little things. Yes,
- 31:22I don't think you ain't train. Yeah, all that is part of your
- 31:26And you add all that up, you found a lot of money and sports.
- 31:30If you just go get your rock and chill and watch the birds and
- 31:34a book, you have a lot more on the bottom line. And I've
- 31:38always agreed with so I'm not knocking. I'm just saying I've just never lost
- 31:42this perspective that and you know, and that's why I always felt guys,
- 31:48if you play from that, you will try to give people their dollars worth.
- 31:52Yes, that's why guys that we go. I can't hate Lebron like
- 31:57the bad producer does, because Lebron gives you your money's worth. Hate him
- 32:05and don't you know like him or don't what you came to see? You
- 32:08came to get you some of the king and here go. Are you not
- 32:13entertained? Are you not entertained? A man entertained you for twenty two years?
- 32:15He's given you high quality HD entertainment. Yes. Yeah, some of
- 32:23these guys have done Jesse James. They pulled air mask up and went in
- 32:30there and got some of that same money and just dipped out and left.
- 32:35The din't make no imprint, so you know, stick up kids, Yeah,
- 32:39they stuck the league up. Well like you. I've always believed that.
- 32:45I've always been baffled by the amount of money people are willing to spend
- 32:51on entertainment. And for me, my perspective was different in that I didn't
- 32:53get like drafted into entertainment out of high school. If I'd had that opportunity,
- 32:58I'd loved it. But to go into entertainment from a nine to five
- 33:01corporate job and see the disparity and how hard I worked in corporate America to
- 33:07barely waking up to get to a show and making as much or more money,
- 33:13was like, wow, you know people really do that just to hear
- 33:16you talk and make them laugh. And I was like this, you know,
- 33:21it seemed like the dudes that struggle with me in the break room should
- 33:24be living a more quality life. But we prioritize right from all of work.
- 33:34Me included. Yes, yes, that's why I said. I know
- 33:37it's one of I did run my numbers. I know it's top three.
- 33:43I like entertainment. I like to go to stuff. Yes, and I'm
- 33:45not telling about we gotta be front row thousand dollar tickets. No, No,
- 33:52we just get a twenty five dollar ticket. Watch the Battle of the
- 33:54Band. You can get me to see. Go watch any kind of sporting
- 33:57event. It f it's in my schedule. I'll be anywhere watching anything.
- 34:04But I don't ever lose sight that the entertainment, the man that might one
- 34:09day fix your heart, should be making more money than the guy that made
- 34:15a song for the impact the song was nice, but they didn't give you
- 34:23an extra twelve years, and that song got got on your ride from here
- 34:30to monk Coming. But when you heard throwing all them bands standing on her
- 34:35hands, you know what I'm saying, It made your heart beat. I'm
- 34:39saying it didn't fix your heart, but it made it. God know you
- 34:43was alive. So it's kind of right, right, it's close to it.
- 34:52It ain't really like that. It's just one of those amazing things when
- 34:57you watch and I'm never hating on what people make. I don't even like
- 35:00to say it. I don't even think it should be out there. I
- 35:01think it'd be little society. I've always said that here on this show,
- 35:07it should just be he makes four he signed a four year deal, or
- 35:10he's down this five year deal. Throwing out numbers that these guys make.
- 35:15I made to a society. Where as Big Kenny is saying people put in
- 35:21a long day, and you're saying in a four year period, you're gonna
- 35:24make more than a five person household. I think it's Ditch and Genie that
- 35:34Paul George in four years is going to this man who went out, got
- 35:38married, had three kids, and all five of them were not gonna make
- 35:43right what Paul George may and you put it out like it's soul pro I
- 35:49find that offense when comedians will argue about what people offer them in front of
- 35:55people like, man, he only offered me eighteen g for that show.
- 36:00It's one hour, Bran, you know, and you and people looking at
- 36:04him like, man, you need to go get that money. He man.
- 36:07You know, people will tell you how they're worth far more. And
- 36:10the average working guy is thinking, if I just had one day like that
- 36:15in my life, I'd be set. But you know, this dude's turning
- 36:20down shows that aren't a certain amount. So God bless the hustle. I
- 36:25ain't call the police on them, you know what I'm saying, Call the
- 36:29police if I had a talented in a certain sport or entertainment, I'm Joe
- 36:36Jackson too. I swear my cotton. If I walk by the bathroom and
- 36:40you in there and you giving me some of that ushersha, do that again?
- 36:47Boy, come in here, do that day she was doing for your
- 36:52mama, now, gon do yeah? Make sure it ain't just me Marie,
- 36:58Marie, watch my boy, dude this day do the little space.
- 37:04Uh. We were talking about running James out of the other guys. That's
- 37:08top ten twelve in basketball history and what people would say and your knowledge any
- 37:15of them. Son make the NBA, like the Kareems, the Bill Russell's
- 37:24Walton, Bill Walton's son. Yeah, man, the Bars they was a
- 37:35high rank guy, Doc Rivers Son made it. It's just like somebody just
- 37:42recently claimed it. Jim hardaway Son. Yeah, the Barry boys will cut
- 37:47because of him. One time, one player was saying he got cut because
- 37:52of the Barrys had the name in the league or whatever, and that's the
- 37:54only reason. But he got cut later on the same time. So everybody
- 37:59else always got these different stories. But like you said, Rick Barry,
- 38:01he had well three, three, five five sons. Yeah, five of
- 38:06them in the league. So yeah, well four when in the NBA.
- 38:12Yeah, four when the NBA. They all played and they all played in
- 38:14college. Yeah. I don't I don't know why they thought. Oh they
- 38:19were saying that because they were Rick Son. Yeah, that one. Uh,
- 38:22it was the I forgot. I'm gonna have to find an article.
- 38:24It was just reasoning San Antonio when they were on the San Antonio. The
- 38:28one that was on San Antonio when he got cut. Uh I forgot all
- 38:31the players said he got cut because of uh Rick the Berry, because of
- 38:36the name. They kept the Berry name instead of keeping down. Nah,
- 38:40I don't think so because he got cut. Yeah, it probably was that
- 38:45the Berry guy respectfully smoked his marijuana. There's a way and you just out
- 38:52in the park in the parking lot, just blazing. You can't even show
- 38:58them, but the word smoke roll up. He just know where to smoke.
- 39:01He just know where to smoke. He's smoking right, He's just oh
- 39:06by the donut release vent. He just over there. Don't nobody see it.
- 39:09They think they just think he likes smelling donut and you just come in
- 39:14smelling like yeah, yeah, and now you may talk about y'all know what
- 39:17it is. It will be back more to Sports Shocks Show right after this.

- 41:19teachers are shaping our tomorrows, starting their students on journeys that will change the

- 41:29there's a teacher inspiring a future scientist who'll make preventing pandemics their life's work,
- 41:35sharpening the mind of an aspiring environmentalist who'll help come back climate change,
- 41:39and generating possibilities for a student who will be the first in their family to

- 42:15And now back to the sports John Wayne Candy between lock say you can see
- 42:42a sports jaint. I'll say even the big cany welk back to the boy
- 42:47shock Shock this boy shock Wayne knd Uh. We were talking about. NBA
- 42:52free agency has started. Paul George has decided to take his talents back to
- 42:57the East Coast. Now with the seven, these sixers joining Joelobeb Tyree Maxi
- 43:04to try to unseat the world champs Boston next season. Great piece for them
- 43:12to pick up a score from the wing, some guy that you can keep
- 43:17the floor spaced. Different than when they had James Hart. It'll be the
- 43:22same production, but in a way where Paul George is not one of those
- 43:29guys that has to have the ball in his hand. He has a little
- 43:32more of that old school true two guard in him where everything doesn't have to
- 43:38be a dribble, you can pop out and shoot. Go with Tyree's Maxi
- 43:44makes him a variable, very formidable team. Now when you talk about the
- 43:49seventy six ers grabbing Paul George, you're still in that age where he can
- 43:53play night to night at thirty three thirty four, So it'd be great to
- 43:58see these seventy six this year as well. Uh the Atlanta Falcons excuse me,
- 44:05Atlanta Hawks once again disappointing its public. Uh did John T. Murray
- 44:09being traded to the Pelicans for a washing machine? Basically, yeah, there's
- 44:16a whole bunch of psive than that. It's more like a and all I
- 44:23can say about that Hawks fans is I'm confused too. Uh. There seemed
- 44:28to be a point with the Hawks where they were making little jestments to have
- 44:35horses that could win. But to me, the one thing about sports that
- 44:40always gives you an insight on what you have to do as a GM,
- 44:45as a coach is look at the other competition and if very easily, if
- 44:52I'm the Hawks, I look to see, well, how am I going
- 44:55to beat the Boston Celtics. What do I have to do to have a
- 45:00team strong enough to beat the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks, the
- 45:05Philadelphia seventy six ers, the Indiana Pacers. They're already setting the pace.
- 45:14Like we were talking about the Olympic Trials. You know, when you get
- 45:16those longer mile races, and there's there's always sometimes they set somebody to pay
- 45:22set they know they're gonna fade, but they're pushing that group. So when
- 45:31you look as the Hawks and you see these teams, make you see the
- 45:37kid that went to the Knicks from the next you see the Knicks get a
- 45:43piece like a Michel Bridges. How do you sit packed? How do you
- 45:47even not just get rid of your second best player when the team ahead of
- 45:52you just got maybe arguably the best player from the other team. And that's
- 46:00the part that throws me, big Kenny. Now, now I got eight
- 46:04teams that I know you're not better than. Now you're just toiling around with
- 46:08the Charlotte Hornets and now at the bottom and Washington Wizard Detroit. Yeah,
- 46:17those teams, that's where you're at. And now, in my world,
- 46:22this would be something like this would be the day that the Feds go,
- 46:24we got them, we got them. They have slipped up this time and
- 46:30out. I mean, this seems like somebody trying to lose some money or
- 46:34y'all trying to what's happening here. We thought that we would do who gets
- 46:38the number one pick? On what night? Was it a Wednesday? Night,
- 46:44What night was the draft Wednesday night? And then on Friday everybody talking
- 46:49about what are you doing? Why? Why? I mean, how often
- 46:53have you known that to happen in sports history, let alone basketball, that
- 46:59we get the number umber one pick, and then forty eight hours later,
- 47:02everyone's scratching their head, going, well that this won't help. That is
- 47:07that that's if that doesn't say we're not trying to win. What will they
- 47:14have to do to make you believe that this is just some sort of social
- 47:20experiment in Atlanta with sports? Well, we shouldn't know. It was a
- 47:23social experiment when we put the barbershop in the arena, because I mean to
- 47:30the point that, I mean, you think about it. The John Tay
- 47:34Mary and when we were texting us, I said, he never to me,
- 47:37he seemed like he never could get comfortable in his shoes here. And
- 47:39everybody said what they thought the situation. You guys said what y'all thought the
- 47:44situation was. But now you look at it, you're thinking, I mean,
- 47:47what are the Hawks doing? I mean, you got trade? I
- 47:50mean I would have got rid of trying to package trade. And if I
- 47:52was going to trade and try to get something, who's to say he might
- 47:55not go margin right now, there's there's no market farm because the league is
- 48:02so everyone has a guard and everyone feels like they have we because there's so
- 48:10many Like what does where can Trey go? Where the team gets better,
- 48:15that's the team that will make a trade for Trey, and there isn't that
- 48:19team, and we've seen Trey from the sense of Trey is James Harden Trays
- 48:25Russell Westbrook, meaning those guys are Hall of famers, but when you add
- 48:32them to a team, it doesn't offer a lot of ingenuity. It offers
- 48:42the same thing, one guy dribbling the ball and taking all the shots.
- 48:47Right, So then you put it with another guy that dribbles the ball and
- 48:52takes all the shots, and you have chaos and somebody and then the whole
- 48:58team breaks up and goes across the league, only to play again two seasons
- 49:01later. And that's why I said someone like it'll be the same production from
- 49:07a different style when you put Paul George will be now because James Harden had
- 49:13to dribble the ball all the time. Let me ask you something. We
- 49:17had James Harden there in Philly, Who did we have in Philly before James
- 49:22Harden was Did Kyrie go through Philly at some time? Ben Simmons, Ben
- 49:27Simmons, who else was? Because I'm saying everybody keep trying to find a
- 49:31piece to go with in B and then something go wrong and they move him
- 49:37and bring in At what point we're gonna try and maybe move and B when
- 49:44he gets thirty five? Trust the process going on for ten years. I
- 49:51ain't want to put no time on it. I ain't want to. I'm
- 49:53not saying this because he been around ten years. He can't. I'm just
- 49:58saying he ain't done it. Yeah, we'll be back more to Sports doc
- 50:02show right after this. Yeah, I know this from the South, so
- 50:10I let him. I had to put it in a nou split class hunt.

- 53:04For the next two weeks we will figure out who is the greatest grass player
- 53:07this season. The US trying to find a new footing. We've been searching
- 53:15forever for some footing for on the man's side. I mean, I can't
- 53:22remember the last great was it? Andre Agascy, Jimmy kunn Oh, Pete
- 53:28Samprises, It was the last great dominant Yeah as far as American Yeah,
- 53:34and that was Andy r That was like late nineties or two thousand and I
- 53:37know we're talking about Wimbledon and tennis, but NBA take note because we used
- 53:43to talk about men and their dominance and men's tennis all around the world back
- 53:47in the day. And then that European player started emerging, and now we
- 53:53don't know any American men tennis players. Well you saw that with the draft.
- 54:00The draft, and that's my point. The draft had multiple each year,
- 54:05there's more and more, and pretty soon we may not even have a
- 54:08perennial favorite when it comes to an American player. Well, what two of
- 54:13the top five players this year, we're first two, you know when you're
- 54:17talking about Luca and the Joker. Yeah, so we are including, we
- 54:22are fading. And have you noticed that you throw in shake Gil Chris.
- 54:28Canada they got but on the continent though, citizen, Now excuse me,
- 54:37Canda, that's the only continent that he's still a foreign player playing for Canady.
- 54:43But still, excuse me, sir, if you can be deported,
- 54:49what does that mean you ain't from here? I don't even know if you
- 54:55got that if you can be deported the work visa, they at least give
- 55:00you a little review moving knock at his door a deportation notice. I thought
- 55:09from Canada the same thing, though you know, we connected Canada and Mexico,
- 55:16we share sharing a border. Not people I ran and I read connected
- 55:22to in South Korea and North Korea and and and and the thing in South
- 55:30Korea I've seen, I've seen, and I've been to the deep militarized zones,
- 55:35a dangerous place in the world. And I thought it was like over
- 55:37there, and it's like they're like, dude, you you met them.
- 55:43Dudes right there that's looking at me. Look at them looking at me.
- 55:46That's where I can't cross. They're hoping that what I'm saying, I might
- 55:52be trying to take a selfie at back across this line. Y'all. Ain't
- 55:55got like no big chasm or no canyon separate the two. No, that's
- 56:00that's yeah, just an old oak tree that fell down right in front of
- 56:07the sign. I'm wondering why I'm taking incoming fires. So but yeah,
- 56:12top players, and we saw it in the draft. I know when I
- 56:15looked at it trying to find some names. It was full of I know
- 56:21at least half the draft was foreign born. Yes, it was very few.
- 56:27It was spot checked American players that I could even I wasn't even trying
- 56:34to recognize the name. I was just trying to see if it was from
- 56:37the US period, whether it was from overtime Elite or gun Zaga, something
- 56:45that said US. But Big Kenny is right. The foreign invasion NBA,
- 56:49just like the foreign invasion in Major League Baseball is here, right, and
- 56:54you keep we can keep polling and all the American black baseball player No,
- 57:01they're being replaced. And now do you think do you think tennis will still
- 57:07keep its viewership like the NBA seems to regardless of where the player comes from,
- 57:13if they're in, if they're electrifying enough, we'll watch. But with
- 57:17tennis we use it like in those events we usually kind of pick with our
- 57:22side or our country and like if we don't have one in it, will
- 57:28you still watch? I just think that early on when we got together as
- 57:30the show, I said this about American tennis, just like a lot of
- 57:36American sports, the lucrative deals that you can garner without having the championship.
- 57:44Okay, it's what has hurt us in our sport, like a tennis when
- 57:52you no longer I call it the Mayweather effect. I remember you saying when
- 57:58when Floyd Mayweather and could make those fights, you used to have to have
- 58:02a belt. And then you realize that Floyd is fighting somebody. They're not
- 58:07even fighting for a belt, for the richest purse effort. It's money,
- 58:12team, it's money, it's money made weather. I'm looking pretty, I'm
- 58:15throwing pretty and boy Wilbledon to get the shoe contract, right right, I
- 58:23had to win a major at some point this year or the shoe people are
- 58:27gonna drop me. I can't just go a whole calendar year and never have
- 58:30won those. And now so that's that's that's that thirst is quenched. Well,
- 58:36that's what back to what you're saying, Like the individual sports like tennis,
- 58:39golf, those things where you're working as an athlete in your time,
- 58:45like I said, it was rewarded for once you made it to a woman
- 58:47that or if you win an Augusta or if you win a US Open,
- 58:51or if you win a French Open, like I said, now it's like,
- 58:54oh, they got a hot name, let's put let's get behind them
- 58:59Madison Avenue and then they, like you said, they once they start older,
- 59:02seeing their names and everything. I don't have to win a tournament.
- 59:06Cherup Pault was the name of the girl that used to go, not the
- 59:08Scherah Paul, the one before her, the little tennis girl was a blonde
- 59:13and remember we talked about they used to bring her over. Yeah, she
- 59:19went, Man, that girl she won more. Yeah, they have one.
- 59:22Is it a golfer or a tennis player? Jeanie Bouchard better you say
- 59:28her name. I think she Ma. It's a couple of female golfers that
- 59:31have the sport has helped her, you know, basically push her sexiness.
- 59:37Oh, it's a couple of them they've had and now those kind of deals
- 59:42of coming on. So where is that hunger? If I can get the
- 59:45bag and don't even have to place. I mean, you know, it's
- 59:52good work for the people who can get it, but it doesn't drive me
- 59:57more than sports. Right after this baby girl, you know, I mean
- 1:00:04home, keep me on the rings all don't go away? Or of the
- 1:00:10Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dan videos coming up next. And now let's talk
- 1:00:15about something exciting. Life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents
- 1:00:20a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life
- 1:00:24insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting
- 1:00:28started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the last
- 1:00:30thing on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or
- 1:00:35bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling
- 1:00:37up, I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's when
- 1:00:39I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and
- 1:00:44life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:00:47Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family with
- 1:00:51bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:00:54whether you earn a little or a lot, All you need is the
- 1:00:57insurance informant to help you build a found of security, because without you,
- 1:01:01your family will have two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you
- 1:01:07leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits orbills
- 1:01:13dot com. Hear that that's the sound of your life, perfectly imperfect beating
- 1:01:24in rhythm to the world you've created. But every time you drive after drinking,
- 1:01:30music gets drowned out. Your life sounds pretty great. Don't let a
- 1:01:37buzz ruin it. Buzz driving is drunk driving. Don't drive buzzed A message
- 1:01:43from Knits in the AD Council. My simple solution to their problem was remove
- 1:01:47people from the scene and help them feel safer. In response to attacks against
- 1:01:52Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate
- 1:01:58camp rights to the Asian community. There is so much more work to be
- 1:02:00done. We really need to come together and tackle this issue as a community.
- 1:02:07Support the Asian community. Learn how a Love has No Labels dot com
- 1:02:10brought to you by Love has No Labels and the AD Council enough using enough,

- 1:02:23for Wayne. Excuse me while I will this out sure I'm broadcasting live And
- 1:02:30it led her to a chase of this This is the sports jock ship with
- 1:02:36Wayne Dandy. You may pill began leg up? Can you win me?
- 1:02:42Get you find me down? That council fun council. Pocket comes to block.
- 1:02:46Is it just joy I'm doing. I'm gonna go all the way you
- 1:02:54make Bill Vegan, what makes you this wy Shocks show? I'm this way,
- 1:03:00shack, Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there and listening.
- 1:03:02Aline. We are about thirty days away from opening ceremony in Paris for the
- 1:03:08Olympics. If you didn't know right now the name Sidney McLaughlin, i'ma I'm
- 1:03:16gonna see if I can call her and drop that lovrone. She got married
- 1:03:22this off season. Pick him up after we get all the bags. Let's
- 1:03:28let him be mister Sidney. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we would see
- 1:03:30that her dominance. I don't know what the track coach would do with her
- 1:03:35right now. She probably is the fastest four hundred runner. She runs the
- 1:03:40four hundred meter hurdles. I'm not sure she might not be the fastest two
- 1:03:45hundred meter runner. It's something and very seldom. I know. The bad
- 1:03:51producer always wants them to check Lebron for steroids. That's always been his thing.
- 1:04:00But I was watching this young lady, watching this lady over the weekend.
- 1:04:04I'm like, man, you're gonna get They're gonna be testing you.
- 1:04:08You gotta stop winning like this. You getting your coach, You and your
- 1:04:11coach gotta have a sign up in the States and that or somebody in the
- 1:04:14laboratory. She went in real confidently, like, Na, my man already
- 1:04:19got to love blood sample up. Got we I mean, we got the
- 1:04:24whole base lockdown. But thirty days from the Olympic opening ceremony, Wimbledon is
- 1:04:30starting to day, so we'll be in that for the next two weeks.
- 1:04:33Happy Fourth of July as we run upon it. This week is well,
- 1:04:39hopefully the sun is out. On Thursday, we talked about Paul George moving
- 1:04:44from the Clippers to the Sixers. Uh King James and the Prince out in
- 1:04:49La selling Jerseys. Greg says they're gonna go with James Junior and James.
- 1:04:59I was thinking El James because then that puts Lebron New Jersey in El James
- 1:05:05and the B James. It could be it could be James Senior because something
- 1:05:14that makes him sound dated and dated, sound dated. We don't want him
- 1:05:17sound out irrelevantly, you know how formidable. We'll go with James Junior to
- 1:05:25the All Star breaking the All Star Break, We'll break out a city edition
- 1:05:29right with b James, l Jane. You know they do it anything Lakers,
- 1:05:36Los Jamos, Los nin Yo Jamos, but running James second round pick
- 1:05:43to uh, the and the possibilities as we were throwing out everybody except and
- 1:05:47if you never listen to the Sports Shop show. Uh. We all have
- 1:05:51our particular tastes, likes, dislikes. No one hates and champions their board
- 1:06:00of hate that I have met, like the bad producer does for Lebron James.
- 1:06:06So he is here, he just steps away when we have these labrain
- 1:06:11even when we were texting about commercial ideas. He so wants this man to
- 1:06:18basically have never been what he is that he can't even comment on it.
- 1:06:27But Brannie James, the three of us are doing out some great ideas.
- 1:06:31As far as the commercial we need to success. Madison Avenue need to call
- 1:06:36us. That's all I'm saying. Weed some of the ideas we pitched.
- 1:06:40Uh. I don't like even saying on the air because then when I see
- 1:06:45it on TV, I'm gonna be heated. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:06:47I'm gonna be real heating because this is great a stuff. We need to
- 1:06:50get this It's great and as I said in that one text with Jenny Buss,
- 1:06:56the owner of the Lakers, h taking over as her daddy passed away.
- 1:07:00But she's done some incredible things and it seems and I wasn't being petty.
- 1:07:05I'm just saying she started the Lakers girls. That was a movement.
- 1:07:09Yes, basically, her and her dad put together what now is just part
- 1:07:15of the game, experience the show, right right, they're drmalized, Yeah,
- 1:07:20putting on the show during the game. And then she had the cuteness
- 1:07:28and the beauty to have a lord Phil Jackson to La La Lane, the
- 1:07:33world champion, multi world champions, to win a couple of championship right right.
- 1:07:39He wasn't just a Phil Jackson. Nobody knew he was Phil Jackson,
- 1:07:43Phil Jackson, you know. Yeah, And now she's put together the James
- 1:07:46and James package Lebron on the front. How is Genie Bustner sixty two,
- 1:07:55sixty three, she'd be doing this? Yeah, she's up and up in
- 1:07:59that age. I think she was the youngest of the of the kids,
- 1:08:02and so that means she's benefited from the luxury lifestyle the entire time. And
- 1:08:08so I bet yeah, because she was like maybe twenty twenty one when she
- 1:08:13started working or dad, that's why she's been around so long. But Broun,
- 1:08:18everybody I keep talking about, whether they are Lebron James ans or not
- 1:08:23other than the bad producer, really really are happy for this situation to transpire.
- 1:08:31So I've never said I wasn't happy about it, you know. You
- 1:08:40know, I think when it comes to thank you, thank you, sir,
- 1:08:42to the Bronnie James thing. A lot of people have been questioning his
- 1:08:46being drafted, and they all are mad at Lebron for what they call making
- 1:08:50him a nepo baby or nepotism. And in my opinion, like you said
- 1:08:56earlier, nepotism is always something that I thought was expected. If you've got
- 1:09:00family members, then you put them on. But the established reality was that
- 1:09:06those people knew that they had to be qualified, and you demanded that they
- 1:09:12come prepare you see what I'm saying. I think a lot of people kind
- 1:09:15of feel like in Brownie's situation, with just his stats from the year that
- 1:09:19he played at USC, they feel offended, like he didn't put up massive
- 1:09:25numbers. But I don't think that's a prerequisite for getting in the NBA.
- 1:09:29Is it massive numbers. No, not anymore, right, not anymore.
- 1:09:32There was a time maybe twenty years ago, fifteen years ago, this would
- 1:09:36be more clear cut. But how the NBA is functioning now, Most of
- 1:09:43these guys seem like projects. Yeah, you don't have to have they just
- 1:09:48won. Yeah, they're all nineteen. The guy the Hawks draft at nineteen,
- 1:09:54the kid that was drafted behind him is nineteen. Ronnie James is nineteen.
- 1:09:59It was a lot. You don't have any more evidence that you're going
- 1:10:02to be There was one guy eighteen got drafted. But then there guys like
- 1:10:06Kentucky had this for a few years, where like we didn't know a lot
- 1:10:10about Devin Booker at Kentucky and he came off the bench, but he's a
- 1:10:15lottery pick. The guy who's just third pick, Reed Shepherd, he came
- 1:10:19off the bench, he only started five games, but he ends up being
- 1:10:23a third pick. So the major production isn't Yeah, that's not the thing.
- 1:10:28And I did find Marcus t Jeff Teg's little brother. I was watching
- 1:10:33some Big Three action and they're playing together. I don't know, I just
- 1:10:40saw Marcus out there. I saw someone that looked like Jeff, and I
- 1:10:43was like, well, I know Jeff ain't probably playing, Oh he's in
- 1:10:45it. And it was Marcus Tige, and I was like, there go
- 1:10:48Mark, I've been looking for him forever. And he was out there in
- 1:10:53the Big three League playing with the team with Roy White. Is it his
- 1:10:58name, Russ White, who's running for senator or something? Yeah, in
- 1:11:01Minnesota. If that don't get you, foowed that White. Royce White was
- 1:11:11skeed of flying or what was he at? Some kind of disorder that's why
- 1:11:14he couldn't do He had like an anxiety disorder about flying and he wanted some
- 1:11:20special Uh. I don't want to say. He got drafted by the Rockets
- 1:11:27in the first round, but he needed some special privileges or some help to
- 1:11:31deal with it. And it was a program he was trying to have with
- 1:11:36the team and they didn't make. He failed to drug test that Marcus t
- 1:11:45he had the same draft with his tea. He had Trump twenty twenty four
- 1:11:51sharp ee on his head. That's how I noticed him in the game the
- 1:11:56other day. Yeah. First of all, I thought it was a tattoo,
- 1:11:59but he had somebody with the sharpie up there. They Trump twenty twenty
- 1:12:01four on the side of his head. So but you're scared to fly.
- 1:12:06But that is Royce. Well you break that down, t and the debate
- 1:12:14against Royce White, would you break that up? Just do you do it?
- 1:12:16You let people right on your forehead. I mean, because I think
- 1:12:24that's what's most concerning for me. I don't care what the message is,
- 1:12:29the fact that you're using your face as a billboard concerns me overall. And
- 1:12:33last show, we were talking about Caitlyn Clark getting offered for the w WE
- 1:12:40event in nd and twenty twenty five. The other night, Tyrese Halliburton of
- 1:12:45the Pacers and Jalen Bronson of the Knicks gut in the ring at Madison Square
- 1:12:53Garden and somebody got to find out. That's a nice little they you know,
- 1:12:57something they give them. Like you said, it's a nice little pocket
- 1:13:00change. Come on, man, drive by four. I'll give you twenty
- 1:13:04five grand. Twenty five grand. Nobody gets hurt. Say a few words,
- 1:13:10nobody gets hurt. You Yeah, talk a little smack. We got
- 1:13:15it. We got a little script. But just go with just go and
- 1:13:18then we're gonna play the music. You come off high five. That'll be
- 1:13:23twenty five, right, now if you want to do the autograph signing after
- 1:13:26this extra fifteen cheese, right, and we can go with that. And
- 1:13:30you figure, man, I ain't doing nothing between eleven thirty. Yeah between
- 1:13:34he said, I'll be calling by eleven thirty. The club ain't even open
- 1:13:39by eleven thirty. I'ma do this. Yeah, I'm gonna just drive by
- 1:13:42real quick man, pull over here for a second. Hey man, what
- 1:13:44you finna do? Make the forty five dollars dollars We'll be back more than
- 1:13:47sports talk show right after this. I put your picture on my knee.
- 1:13:57The blush when somebody says your name in my stomach doesn't pay you welcome my
- 1:14:02direction, Maglia that way, don't bow away. More of the Sports Josh

- 1:16:30Your birthday, Jay birthday, birthday, birthday, bday. Welco. Back
- 1:16:42to the show on the sports Shock, Wayne Candy. A couple of birthdays
- 1:16:45here from yesterday and today. Uh, we've been playing the sounds of Missy
- 1:16:50Elliott fifty three years old. Pamela Anderson is fifty seven. Ty the actress
- 1:17:00is forty seven, Plies is forty eight. Dan Akroyd is seventy two.
- 1:17:08He just always looked old, just one of them guys had always looked old,
- 1:17:12Dan or Akroyd when you think about it, because he's been looking seventy
- 1:17:16two since ninety nine, at least ninety Yeah, he's seventy two years old.
- 1:17:24Mike Muscala, who used to play here in Atlanta, the small Forward
- 1:17:28thirty three Kent Baysmore, remember Kent Baysmore small Ford as well. Thirty five.
- 1:17:33Nancy Lieberman, who I think is one of the coaches for the Big
- 1:17:36Three. Yes, she won a championship. Hall of Famer sixty six years
- 1:17:42old. Mike Haynes, the cornerback Hall of Famer for the Raiders. Seventy
- 1:17:46one. Larry David are y'all Lavvy David Guys. Yes, Larry David Guys
- 1:17:53seventy seven years old. Larry must have lost his hair. It's thirty.
- 1:17:58He liked even Dan that's look at him like man. He's been looking over
- 1:18:02a long time. There is seventy seven years old. He'd been looking at
- 1:18:06seventy seven and it's ninety one. He looked old man. Eighty one.
- 1:18:14Alex Morgan who was just left off the US women's national team. It's thirty
- 1:18:18five. Marco Robbie is thirty four. Lindsay Lohan who's making him come back.
- 1:18:27She's making the remake of Fay Freaky Friday. It'll be a sequel,
- 1:18:31then, I guess. I mean it's got to be a sequel because it
- 1:18:34was a movie to Freaky Friday before she made the what she made it was
- 1:18:41an original one of that. So this is like the this is the two
- 1:18:45part two of like she said, it'll be part two of what she made,
- 1:18:48but it was original one that was made before. So thirty eight years
- 1:18:53old. Is Lindsay Lohan? Good to see her still alive and trying to
- 1:18:58make it back. Let's be honest, count the winds. I know what
- 1:19:02it feels like. People be like, wow, it's so cool, but
- 1:19:06you know, think about it. That was when the internet things first started.
- 1:19:11Was like when the celebrity information was when Lindsay Lohan and all that started
- 1:19:16coming out. So yeah, which is so interesting that I still don't get
- 1:19:23why do I follow social media? Like what good does it do for me
- 1:19:29to follow it? Some people use it. That's where they get their news,
- 1:19:35find out what's going on in the world. I thought it's always the
- 1:19:39It's not always the best way. Those people they never read the newspaper.
- 1:19:45But I'm saying, you're you're getting Is it maybe that you think that people
- 1:19:50nature? Most people are like the bad producer. They just hate they got
- 1:19:58there one or two people they clap for, and the other eight of us
- 1:20:01they hate. It's an apparatus that is being built for people to get their
- 1:20:09hate to you as fast as possible and sports no, no, no,
- 1:20:15no, because whoever hates me unless they got a post it stamp. And
- 1:20:19actually, if you don't even have I don't know this name, I rip
- 1:20:21it up and see sir, So you can't even I rip up any mail
- 1:20:28unless you say Georgia power. Let me tell you something. Does that make
- 1:20:30any sense? Yeah? So unless command you Greg text me a man,
- 1:20:36I sent you a letter. If I get a great letter from you,
- 1:20:42I'm gonna rip it up, I said, I only open bills. So
- 1:20:47social media, I hear so many people talk about they're gonna have the unplugged,
- 1:20:51or even for the Olympics, they're gonna take a you know, be
- 1:20:55off. Why would you want something that what you you already know? I
- 1:21:00criticized. I think that what most people have yet to do is crack the
- 1:21:04code like you just did, where it's it's an instant way for people to
- 1:21:11deliver hate to you. Once you realize that that's the game they plan,
- 1:21:16and you don't let it affect you emotionally, you can use it as the
- 1:21:19tool that they purport it's supposed to be for self promotion, for getting your
- 1:21:29name out to a wider audience for those kinds of things, because no matter
- 1:21:32what you do, there are people who are out there like just saving the
- 1:21:36world, and someone will comment like, bruh, there are people in Houston
- 1:21:42that needs you. You know. Just recently, I just save after the
- 1:21:47East coast all the way to the to like the Saint Louis arch I got
- 1:21:53all of them people saved, and I'm coming to Houston. A couple years
- 1:21:57ago, in flood in North Carolina, we were talking about it. I
- 1:22:00think Michael Jordan gave like three million dollars and they comment, Mike know he
- 1:22:05can do more than that, like did you get the part where he gave
- 1:22:12three million dollars? He know that he actually baited those dates. Three million
- 1:22:16dollars and three in your issue is what, oh man, you could have
- 1:22:20gained seven? I mean, And these are people who haven't given anything any
- 1:22:29dollars and they're criticizing his three millions. Brett Hart, the wrestler, is
- 1:22:33sixty seven. Derek White, NBA Champion with the Celtics is thirty, Chloe
- 1:22:40Bailey is twenty six. Tubby Smith my man, Tubby a longtime college coaches
- 1:22:45He coaching right now yeah, I know. Tubby Smith. He was at
- 1:22:48Kentucky, he was at Arkansas, then with the Minnesota. He was at
- 1:22:53Memphis, Okay for seventy three years old. A guy that always gets left
- 1:22:59off when you're talking about so talented. Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond fifty nine
- 1:23:04years old. Mit Mitch, quickly give you forty points in the game.
- 1:23:11Joe Missoula, head coach of the Celtics, is thirty six. I man
- 1:23:15LeVar Arrington forty six, A J Brown receiver for the Eagles, twenty seven
- 1:23:20Fantasia. It's the Big four, Oh aquaman himself. Michael Phepps is thirty
- 1:23:27nine. Think he had a little smoke for his birthday? No, not,
- 1:23:32no, I'm saying not a little yeah, a little? Well,
- 1:23:35now that's every day leading up to his birth. This wonder what he said
- 1:23:40birth said anxiety or something? Don't we all? You know what I'm saying.
- 1:23:44That's what I tell him. Were just waiting to hear web that I
- 1:23:48got nothing to do with distribution, sir, that's all anxiety. Wrestler Cody
- 1:23:53Rose is thirty nine as well. Sweetye is how he said. Sothweedy.
- 1:23:59Sothweedy is thirty one and Iron Mike Tyson, similar to Lindsay Lohan, surprised
- 1:24:04that he's fifty eight years of age. They both called propmighty text each I'm

- 1:26:53to the sports Job, Wayne Gacy, there's lash. I've been given full
- 1:27:01access to the player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy's wait wait
- 1:27:33to this shock show. I'm this what shock, Wayne Gandy. Yesterday once
- 1:27:38again a sellout. It's called Clark Economics in the w n B A wherever
- 1:27:45Caitlin Clark goes, ticket prices go up and buildings get sold out. Sold
- 1:27:49out yesterday in Phoenix at Footprint Center, seventeen thousand and seventy one. This
- 1:27:59young has brought a certain crowd and a certain spirit to watching WNBA games that
- 1:28:06no one before her and maybe no one after her will be able to generate.
- 1:28:14Right now, it is Caitlyn Clark in the building, building gets sold
- 1:28:18out. She has amass some kind of crowds that the WNBA has been thirsting
- 1:28:25for to try to push their product forward. Her intrigue and the thing that
- 1:28:31to me that I watch different than other WNBA games. Is just the spirit
- 1:28:39of the other team when I watch the other teams play, and it just
- 1:28:47really taps into the X player in me of just how a certain name brings
- 1:28:56a certain energy and you watch teams play her and her team with the fullest
- 1:29:02intent of beating them, of elbowing them, and I just love it.
- 1:29:11And it's all because she's out on the court that they're going to teach her
- 1:29:15the rookie. You can see that same defender two days later against another player.
- 1:29:21Knees aren't bent, They're not picking up the girl, the woman at
- 1:29:27have court. But with Caitlyn Clark, they are on a mission to make
- 1:29:31sure that they teach her the rookie lessons that she needs to learn. Yesterday
- 1:29:38taking on Diana Tarassi, the forty two year old select some consenter, maybe
- 1:29:45the greatest that ever played in the w NBA and the Fever winning the game.
- 1:29:50One of those games where Caitlyn Clark and what's the man Jason Whitlocke that
- 1:29:58his name. Sometimes he says stuff I agree with, and sometimes I don't
- 1:30:01know what he is even referring to. It's almost like, did you watch
- 1:30:06the game where he keeps saying she's struggling, and I don't see where she's
- 1:30:12struggling. Fifteen points, twelve assists, nine rebounds as a rookie, I
- 1:30:17don't see how how that would add up to struggling. Struggling expect average forty,
- 1:30:26but that's not realistic. Well, I'm saying, do you do you
- 1:30:29think that's doing part? You know how sometimes broadcasters will come up with some
- 1:30:34sort of catchphrase, do you think he doesn't have anything else to go to
- 1:30:39to? I mean because outside of because once you push that narrative enough for
- 1:30:45you to backpedal now and admit that you was hating before is rare. So
- 1:30:56I don't know. Ball don't lie, numbers don't lie. And it's amazing
- 1:31:00that with Caitlyn Clark, she does what most, if any rookies could rarely
- 1:31:06do, and for her, that's considered struggling and they will brate and malign
- 1:31:13her for that, like, oh, you know the team really, I
- 1:31:15don't know where they're I don't know where the future is going to be,
- 1:31:17Like Caitlyn's really not delivering, And come on, man, he was.
- 1:31:21I think he was trying to point out that she doesn't at the end of
- 1:31:25the game, go get the ball. And make take the shot, and
- 1:31:29I'm like, well, that's why they call it being a rookie, Like
- 1:31:34nobody knows that that's what you're supposed to do. At that point, She's
- 1:31:38trying to win the game through the system. I think this rookie class has
- 1:31:43lived up to the billy Angel Reese's is doing what she Cardoza, the young
- 1:31:47lady out of Tennessee that plays with the Sparks, I just don't. That's
- 1:31:54why me and the Babtoots the only thing we disconnect on is while people look
- 1:31:59at stuff to find what's wrong and never look at stuff to find what's right.
- 1:32:06And when I look at these young ladies, I look to try to
- 1:32:09figure out what they're doing right and now, like Anguries I said before the
- 1:32:15season, I said, I want to see the injuries from two years ago
- 1:32:17when they won the title. Injury last year looked like she was out of
- 1:32:20shape, like she had something else on her mind other than basketball money.
- 1:32:27Now this injuries looked like the young lady that was year before. She looks
- 1:32:30quicker, She looked like she's lost some weight. She has that mean who
- 1:32:35wants some kind of feel back. That wasn't the one I saw last year.
- 1:32:39Last year, she looked like she was had got had forgotten the basketball
- 1:32:45part and was living the other part, the entertable. But she looked like
- 1:32:49the Anguries, the one I like to see plate. Yeah, she went
- 1:32:54from great value cheerios to the cheerios, and I think to the to the
- 1:32:59law arder question what happened to where we start looking for the what's wrong.
- 1:33:06We had a conversation once about remember way back when, when it was it
- 1:33:12was we lived out on the planes, and it was an accomplishment just to
- 1:33:15not having gotten eaten that day. You know what I'm saying, Like everybody,
- 1:33:18everybody that made it back to the fire, we had to get him
- 1:33:23a high five. Okay, hey, you know what I'm saying. It's
- 1:33:25a hard world out there. But then we started sleeping indoors and life became
- 1:33:30softer, so we started being able to criticize, oh he didn't cut his
- 1:33:33hair, well, he was running from bears all day. You give him
- 1:33:36a little grace back then, But now you know, we've kind of gotten
- 1:33:42softer, so it's easier to critique your accomplishments. When I'm sitting and watching,
- 1:33:45Yeah, just a good game yesterday. The goat versus the rook is
- 1:33:49what they and it was a good game. Britney Grinder scored like twenty four
- 1:33:54points and just you know, both players, t Rossi and Clark gave hommat.
- 1:34:00And I think it takes sometimes for you the first time they ever played
- 1:34:02each other, right, Kittin Clark was always opened that she idolized Dina Tarrossi.
- 1:34:10She was two. Wow, when Dona Rossi was a rookie. Wow.
- 1:34:15And she still and nobody asked these young ladies and these young players these
- 1:34:18questions like you just have made me hurt enemy. And I'm telling you,
- 1:34:25I used to eat my fruit loops wanting to be Dinah Tarossi and you just
- 1:34:30skipped over that part and went to we natural enemies. No, we're not.
- 1:34:33She's just happy to be on the field. And I can the first
- 1:34:41time I played against Damn Marino, it does seem like a dream. Right,
- 1:34:45You're sitting on the bench. You look out, man, is that
- 1:34:47Damn Marino? Where am I? Where? What dream? I must be
- 1:34:54sleeping? Danny pat you on the hell in a good attack of work,
- 1:34:57and Damn Marino is in the hubble, not Dann Marino. Frum now you
- 1:35:02all. We have known you playing the Dolphins, but it don't hit you
- 1:35:08to you sitting there. Remember I'm from Florida. That's all my football life.
- 1:35:15Damn Marinos, the Mark Brothers, you know. And then Reno kind
- 1:35:20of big right there right there. He don't look that big on TV six
- 1:35:26six. You know, you start realizing that you think he don't look that
- 1:35:30big on TV. Did you realize I'm not looking at him on TV?
- 1:35:34So Kaitlyn Clark said it was a thrill to play against Tyrassi and tirassee Uh
- 1:35:40says that she can't just what she sees that she can pass the baton.
- 1:35:44The future has come and you can see it in this young lady ever passing
- 1:35:47ability. It's just outstanding. But that was yesterday's game. W n B.
- 1:35:53A UH will take a break here in a second for the Olympics.
- 1:35:57They're one of those leagues that have to shut down for the Olympics to happen
- 1:36:02so their players can play. Sean Taylor, one of the great corner safeties
- 1:36:10past, got killed. I think it was about twenty eight. He hadn't
- 1:36:15hit thirty six. Yeah, Jehan Taylor killed in his home, but his
- 1:36:21daughter of The bad producer let me Know is now in a volleyball scholarship for
- 1:36:28UNC Jackie Taylor. So it's always great to see kids, even when their
- 1:36:35parents alive. But to imagine her persevering all that because she was was she
- 1:36:42if she's eighteen, it's been about eighteen almost eighteen years, she must have
- 1:36:46been like I think she was. To think was she not at the house
- 1:36:50right morning? She was a baby baby? Yeah, when he that's I'm
- 1:36:55calculating he had to be alive, because she's alive. But I'm saying she
- 1:36:58was a baby baby, doesn't even have many memories of her dad at that
- 1:37:03point. The Baptus also says that there's no more did he Day in Miami
- 1:37:10Beach? They took the Diddy day back? Did he Day? So he
- 1:37:13took the key in New York and the Diddy out of Miami. That's Mimmy
- 1:37:16Beach, that's Miami Beach. Howard in the Howard and how As two coaches,
- 1:37:25and he already didn't go to Cali. Didn't he did not go.
- 1:37:28He stayed out of Cali anyway. Hugh Jackson is now an assistant down at
- 1:37:36Georgia's State Comanche. Greg Hugh Jackson, who has had a whirlwind in the
- 1:37:43last decade. He was a head coach for Cleveland, head coach for the
- 1:37:48Raiders, offensive coordinator for the Raiders. Uh, he's the head coach at
- 1:37:53Grambling and now he's there. He was an offensive assistant when I was with
- 1:38:00the Falcons. That's how I know Hugh Jackson. And now he's an assistant
- 1:38:03down under Dale McGee, who's the head coach at Georgia State, who actually
- 1:38:08was a teammate of mine at Auburn. It's just and that's why I always
- 1:38:12tell you live it out man. You see all kinds of different connections come
- 1:38:15together that you didn't even have. It's like, what's going on and how
- 1:38:19did all that happen? But here in town Georgia State, Hugh Jackson,
- 1:38:26we'll come back talk about the bet Awards that none of us saw. And
- 1:38:31they selling th HC beer or something something not in Portland. Well, it
- 1:38:36always is something in Portland, and this always and it's always something going on
- 1:38:41in Portland. They become almost a new San Francisco. Yeah, they keep
- 1:38:45something going on. They run San Francisco into the ground food pretty for here
- 1:38:58I come comes in among you want to hurt something my sicking man. I
- 1:39:00don't have to set some thing. I'm on the window for me. Michael
- 1:39:03Jackson, I'm a pain and you'll wreck the mine and don't bow away.
- 1:39:11Or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne danteis coming up next, said you'd

- 1:41:34I'll sing even Big Canny, welcome back to the sword Shock. Show up
- 1:41:40the sports Shock, Wayne Candy, Good morning to you, Page van zent
- 1:41:45Uh the boxer Cage Fighter uh this weekend. Because I had to click on
- 1:41:51I rarely have to. Most times I click on jes so I can make
- 1:41:59sure I witnessed whatever the guys may send me. But when I ran across
- 1:42:05Page van Zan at the power Slap competition, because I'm very intrigued with this
- 1:42:14whole power slap thing, they got moving around. At first I thought they
- 1:42:17had maybe stopped it. Then I see her in it, and now they
- 1:42:26got them holding you have to hold a little the little bar behind your back,
- 1:42:30y'all gotta get you some of this Page vans In. Well, the
- 1:42:32girl slapped Page and Page I don't know, It's like it barely affected her.
- 1:42:42But when Page slapped her back, you're gonna learn to day. You're
- 1:42:45gonna learn today. She tried to fight the slap, ended up slumping down
- 1:42:54on it and they got the power slap. Remember a couple of years ago
- 1:42:58we found out that this was something on the move, And will this be
- 1:43:03I don't know if it's reached ESPN three or one of the network shows yet,
- 1:43:08but maybe it's just all cable still. They have a spot. Yeah,
- 1:43:14there's a person right there, like a referee. But it's a powerful
- 1:43:18slap man. You just get a little open hand. She she kind of
- 1:43:24got her motion ready. I don't know if you get three movements, but
- 1:43:30only when she came with it, though, she came with it, and
- 1:43:31hey, did you see that. I'm watching it. I'm watching it right
- 1:43:34now. It was powerful. Yeah. Yeah. And now when you said
- 1:43:39holding a bar, I thought it was a stationary bar. But they have
- 1:43:41some sort of little phone, little pham thing. You put your hands behind
- 1:43:45your back, yeah, almost like a pool noodle and give an open,
- 1:43:48clear face and pile. She winds up and she hits her and all girls
- 1:43:54like I got that. I got. No, No, I don't now
- 1:44:00power slap and we're not promoting violence. No, no, we're not.
- 1:44:03Because I was gonna say, now, power slapping used to be called don't
- 1:44:08sass me. That's what it used to be called. That. Yeah,
- 1:44:11that's what my mama used to call it, don't sass me. But now
- 1:44:17now they got sponsors and everything. My mama was pioneer. She bought for
- 1:44:23a time before a time. Uh but power slapping with Page vans in now
- 1:44:29obviously said maybe she's gonna challenge her husband. You think they'll let her do
- 1:44:33that. I don't know if they do well, maybe exhibition. I don't
- 1:44:36know if they do a sanction. But there's no obviously no unfair, unfair
- 1:44:42advantage for her having been an mm A fighter. They allow that because it
- 1:44:46seems like someone who's a combat sport veteran getting in into a slap competition,
- 1:44:56is you know, like a Mike Tyson getting into a punch of me in
- 1:45:00the chess competition. At some point he might have an unfair advantage. It's
- 1:45:03under the same doesn't dain a white run it the power? Does he we
- 1:45:08should start it, or he's part of that, or he's at least a
- 1:45:12okay, if you have started that, I wouldn't have questioned anything. Well,
- 1:45:15Jess, if you want to go quick, it happens quick. It's
- 1:45:17not like a loan. It's not like the mile race. It's like one
- 1:45:20hundred meters dad, but it is quick and brutal. Page Page got some
- 1:45:28power, Yeah, generate her technique and when the girl slapped her. When
- 1:45:32the lady slapped her, Page kind of had that Oh okay, okay,
- 1:45:39you think it's a game look on her face. So so that is Page.
- 1:45:47It is very violent. You're you're right, bick Kenny on that one.
- 1:45:53Some eateies are starting to ban twenty year olds twenty somethings in the early
- 1:45:59twenties. They're trying to minimum twenty five age up to cut out some of
- 1:46:05the You think it's because of the cell phone or the rowdiness. The article
- 1:46:12that I researched for this lead said that originally it became the desire to weed
- 1:46:23out the patron that would come in in large groups and get rowdy and be
- 1:46:30getting so drunk that they passing out in the bathroom and stuff like that.
- 1:46:34And so they went from a twenty one to a twenty five and up and
- 1:46:41then actually start experimenting with a night where ladies are minimum thirty men minimum thirty
- 1:46:48five, and they said that that was a super successful night. So okay,
- 1:46:54now, when you guys go out, you are you able to distinguish,
- 1:47:00Yeah, the twenty two year old group from the forty year old group.
- 1:47:06It depends on what event you go to. Yeah, depend on your
- 1:47:10event, because I know that I've gone to some places where it seems like
- 1:47:16the forty year old group is doing their best to look twenty and act twenty,
- 1:47:23you know what I mean. It's like we came here for that,
- 1:47:28and lately it's been an uptick with the younger ones wanting to be at R
- 1:47:33and B, like having R and B night. It's like, because I
- 1:47:36was gonna say, I don't know these disruptive kids, because my child been
- 1:47:40wanting to go to seafood boils and stuff since she was in middle school.
- 1:47:45So these kids are accustomed to going out to restaurants and ordering and maintaining their
- 1:47:50composure throughout the entire night. Okay, Yeah, it's just been a change.
- 1:47:55Like like I said, it's been like reversing like rolls is what reversing
- 1:48:01roles? Yeah, like he said, you know, you see like the
- 1:48:04younger ones. Now, that's the thing. I see a lot of them.
- 1:48:09They don't want to do the turn up. They want to like designate,
- 1:48:12have an R and B night. They want to hear all the old
- 1:48:15R and B and different things. And so then for me now to hear
- 1:48:17that you got some places to saying that they don't want to. They want
- 1:48:21to ban some of them from coming in because they don't know how to act.
- 1:48:24Like Kenny said, you know this daughter, my daughter. They've been
- 1:48:27used to going out to eat your daughter. So I don't know what the
- 1:48:30where the people are coming from. All right, each limit is more than
- 1:48:34twenty one, So you got the twenty one year olds want to be with
- 1:48:38the forty year olds, and the forty year olds want to act like one
- 1:48:43twenty five twenty five kind acting twenty one would be ridiculous it. We'll be
- 1:48:48back more to a sports duk show right after this. I'm living drummers for
- 1:48:51Cleveland and comfortably. He's got a lot of ghost to me and my team
- 1:48:55is trying to eat so we clind so I'm messable. You're trying to get
- 1:48:57up doggle weed up, trying to get up, dougga wheat put them telling
- 1:49:00an investment of my companies like don't go away. More of the Sports Jock
- 1:49:04Show with Wayne Dantidias dumbing up. Next. It's four am Monday, and
- 1:49:12you're literally sucking baby snot through a tube because she's congested. Man, that's

- 1:49:40fortunate that our daughters have what they need to grow and learn, but that
- 1:49:43isn't the case for nearly thirteen million kids in the US that struggle with hunger.
- 1:49:47Child in hunger is a heartbreaking reality that Feeding America is working to change.
- 1:49:51Each year, the Feeding American network of food banks rescues billions of pounds
- 1:49:56of good food that would have gone to waste and provides it to families and
- 1:49:58children in need. You know kids in need in your community by visiting Feeding
- 1:50:01America dot org. Brought to you by Feeding America and the AD Council.
- 1:50:09And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe
- 1:50:13that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent
- 1:50:17actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife
- 1:50:20were just getting started with our family and thought, we live forever life insurance.
- 1:50:25What's the last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you
- 1:50:27be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in
- 1:50:30college and bills piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without
- 1:50:33me. That's when I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives
- 1:50:36you power, and life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of
- 1:50:41life you're in. Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:50:44leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're
- 1:50:47twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot, all
- 1:50:50you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security,
- 1:50:55because without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:51:00Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits or bills dot com.
- 1:51:04That's benefits or bills dot com. And now back to the sports job,
- 1:51:14Wayne Gandy. It's time for the school board when we put a spin
- 1:51:20on life and sports and how they intermingle. On the Sports Jack Show with
- 1:51:28Wayne Gandy's smelling way back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the Sport Shock
- 1:51:50Wayne Candy, Passion fruit and lemon with UH two milligrams of th h C
- 1:51:59four milligram of CB deeper. Can this is what the Portland Pickles will start
- 1:52:05serving. They are now listed as the first pro sports club to legally sell
- 1:52:13th HC and fuse drinks at ball games. Gentlemen, please help me out.
- 1:52:20Why isn't just the beer and the wine enough at just this at the
- 1:52:30game? Why do we just came here to watch the game? Why do
- 1:52:35we need another stage of drugs? On a serious note, not trying to
- 1:52:43make it comedicic comedic. I take you to the game, We have a
- 1:52:48bar and some chip. Why do we need more? Why can't this be
- 1:52:54after or before? Why do I need to bring this to the forefront?
- 1:53:00I honestly think that it's because somebody in the event will buy it just to
- 1:53:09say I was able to get it at a professional sporting event and if nothing
- 1:53:14else will scrape in the profit that comes from it. It's all profit based.
- 1:53:20They've put it out there, they said we can, so we will.
- 1:53:27Man First, Charlie Johnson said, don't answer, I might not ask
- 1:53:34Charlie. I think that, uh, because because it's legal in that state,
- 1:53:44that, uh, this seems safer than smoking it. So wait that
- 1:53:53so that it can be consumed that at the at the game, that people
- 1:53:57want something like that. So this seems like the better alternative for the baseball
- 1:54:02fan that wants that. But aren't you just inviting another because sports and getting
- 1:54:09sued and the baseball hitting me and somebody saying they slipped the escalator the other
- 1:54:15day stop and six or seven people got hurt. I think in Chicago after
- 1:54:20the game, aren't we just inviting another something? We're pushing the envelow We'll
- 1:54:28pushing an envelope because see this, this was two hours watching games and everybody
- 1:54:32go home. Well, and I'm saying, and that used to be enough.
- 1:54:36But then my wife got a lingerie store put in. So I wanted
- 1:54:42a barbershop, and then you gave me a barbershop. And now my twenty
- 1:54:46something year old son says, well, I'd like to smoke something, and
- 1:54:50people go, well, we we we're working up towards that a smoke lounge,
- 1:54:55but first we're gonna start with these little infused. Well, I will
- 1:54:59give the some time. We're gonna start with the infused drinks and then pretty
- 1:55:02soon we have a smoke line. Well, I'm with Greg, agreeing with
- 1:55:06Greg because Portland really doesn't have a professional sports team besides indoor and I think
- 1:55:12the Triple A baseball team is really main attraction, and so without all the
- 1:55:17smoke outside because from understanding of the stadium, like in San Francisco at those
- 1:55:20games where it's legal, well that's because it's legal. I'm saying legal don't
- 1:55:26mean I need to add it. But what I'm saying as far as the
- 1:55:30drinks is that what treated like, it's treated like beer or wine. They
- 1:55:35get that they're looking at it as it's right next to them. So the
- 1:55:43whatever accidents may happen from consuming this stuff, it will be it will be
- 1:55:46the same as if it were you know, beer one. And I guess
- 1:55:49maybe I'm just I'm too big of a sports purist. I really just go
- 1:55:57to the sporting event to enjoy and engage in the sport. I don't see
- 1:56:04it as some kind of free pass from home where I have to just go
- 1:56:11berserk at it. Because even when I go to Hawk games and different games.
- 1:56:16I see people like, why are you drunk? Like is it like
- 1:56:25some kind of afternoon I don't know, So that's what I'm saying. Maybe
- 1:56:30it's just me that we have to go, right. I thought we just
- 1:56:34can't enjoy. How do you even watch the game over? Yeah? That
- 1:56:41out of it. I thought you just have a beer or two, enjoy
- 1:56:45the game, just like a snack. I didn't know you came here for
- 1:56:47a full fledged dinner, right right. I thought, you know, I
- 1:56:51thought we was just gonna get some nachos and a hot dog, and now
- 1:56:56you got the butter roll was on the table about medium. Well, and
- 1:57:08that's all that's It's like just not something the den of sexuality that he likes
- 1:57:16to go to, you know, and they start, you want the lobster
- 1:57:21No, I don't know lobster tail here? Oh you're talking about shoes.
- 1:57:24I'm barely okay, right, that ain't to tell I can't. Yeah,
- 1:57:31you're in green Lighting met with lobster tail. We got we got a five,
- 1:57:39five star restument. I'm not going to be there, be here this
- 1:57:42long to be hungry. That's just my appetite in a whole different direction.
- 1:57:46Yeah, I don't know how the comaning of that has become. So when
- 1:57:50I see stuff like this, it's like, sure, I'm quite sure people
- 1:57:54like that, But do I want to be here in that stage? Right?
- 1:58:00Because I see people come to games, I'm like, well, why
- 1:58:01would you come to something that's supposed to be exciting and you but you want
- 1:58:05to be stout down in a sense? Right. Brian scored fifty bro Brian
- 1:58:16scored Joe Biden and Donald Trump. I think y'all should have just a slap
- 1:58:23off powerlap just in general, or don't say no more. Don't say no
- 1:58:30more. They're gonna take it. Somebody gonna steal it. If y'all gonna
- 1:58:31sit there and are your own national TV about who could drive a golf and
- 1:58:35drive golf ball? Just a slap off, slap off. I mean I
- 1:58:41turned the TV off. I went to another day when they went to talk
- 1:58:44about who got a better golf game? Yeah, eighty two and seventy nine.
- 1:58:48Time for slapoff. Just have a slap off, man, make this
- 1:58:51quick and let's move on at the age. If you get anybody when we
- 1:59:00find another Beatle, I'm saying, is Mick Jagger doing his thing? I
- 1:59:08don't trust. Come on, man, we can't let neither one of these
- 1:59:12people. Please, A dark horse might just start running to day. I
- 1:59:15tell you, Mike Tyson is still alive. Just have a have a power
- 1:59:19slap off and let's be done. Please don't bring this into my home.
- 1:59:25Every week the strong strong power scamp place of a debate and just have a
- 1:59:30slap off and then people go vote. No, I want them to alone
- 1:59:34drive. I mean, like so people vote based on the slap office or
- 1:59:40the winner is the president. Yeah, they went to talk about how far
- 1:59:44they can drive the ball, and I was, I bet you can't.
- 1:59:46Nothing nothing says I'm an old dude, quite like I bet you I can't
- 1:59:51hit that golf ball. And we all know you. The truth is he
- 1:59:59will tell you it's in the ocean. It's time to wrap things up on
- 2:00:03the Sports Judge Show with Wade Kenny out when you decided an ocean, give
- 2:00:28the Sports Shout testa minute to VIC would like to thank you for tuning in
- 2:00:30to today's show. Remember Wimbledon starting today and the fourth of July is right
- 2:00:39around the corner. Now, if you know the sports jock and you follow
- 2:00:45our show, when you saw this story, you knew who was going in
- 2:00:49the ocean. You knew it when you saw Big Kenny manchie Greg y'all knew
- 2:00:58it. This is the reason I didn't get around to it. But the
- 2:01:02number one pick of the draft a couple of years ago out of LSU named
- 2:01:10Jamarcas last name Russ has been removed from the coaching staff at his former high
- 2:01:17school. See if all go wrong, you can't go back to your high
- 2:01:24school and get a job. Now, that's the one thing. When it
- 2:01:27all on fell off the bottom, I can go get me a high school
- 2:01:30coaching job. Even I can do it. I can. JaMarcus Russell has
- 2:01:36been a cue of stealing seventy four thousand dollars that he was supposed to give
- 2:01:44to the Williamson High School football program. But the idiot went and deposited the
- 2:01:53check in his credit Union account. See that's really why I'm throwing him in
- 2:01:59though ocean. Did you steal a check and put it in account with your
- 2:02:03name on it? No, that's impossible. You cannot be no, no,
- 2:02:10no, no no. But but you cannot be that far gone.
- 2:02:14Now, But if you stole something and actually put it in account with your
- 2:02:18name on it, but without my idea, you can't get my information.
- 2:02:23Seventy four thousand dollars they save a positive. He took fifty five thousand out
- 2:02:29for a little pocket change. And now he has been dismissed from the school
- 2:02:34and we'll be going to jail soon. JaMarcus Russell. Our boy, Jared's
- 2:02:40boy. Yeah, Jared jaredy football guy out of New York. He's a
- 2:02:45Raider fan, thirty eight years old. What a sad story, JaMarcus.
- 2:02:50But I gotta throw you a notion buck the plank. What what you were
- 2:03:02gonna do with that fifty five grand mashal see down in Mobile. Get him
- 2:03:10a fishing charter, a shrimp boat like Bubbly paid for a lawyer Now for
- 2:03:18Big Kenny, Come on you, Greg the bad producing the Sports Shop Show.
