Just like when He led the Israelites of old, God is also leading us to a promised land. When Jesus was on earth, He made a promise to all those who would believe in Him, saying, I am going to prepare a place for you (John 14:2). Throughout the whole Bible, God reminds us of the promised land He is preparing for us. Our promised land is more than a land flowing with milk and honey. It’s renewed creation, with no more death, no more sorrow, and no more crying (Revelation 21:4). It’s the perfect, eternal home that God’s children have been longing to see for centuries!
