- 0:07Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Well, good evening, everybody. It's the Cryptid Huntress. I'm Jessica Jones.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Welcome into our show tonight where we are going on
- 1:07Speaker 2: the hunt with Bryce Edwards tonight out of Southern Illinois,
- 1:11Speaker 2: you guys. I hope you guys are having a wonderful day.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And my goodness, y'all, I spent the entire day at
- 1:17Speaker 2: a car show today with my dad. And we had
- 1:21Speaker 2: a blast. If any of you guys live in the
- 1:23Speaker 2: Cartersville area, northwest Georgia, go check out the Savoy I
- 1:28Speaker 2: think that's how you pronounce it. Savoy Automobile Museum. They
- 1:33Speaker 2: had a big old car show today. My dad did
- 1:35Speaker 2: place in the top 20 out of hundreds of vehicles
- 1:40Speaker 2: that were in their little car show. People's Choice Award
- 1:43Speaker 2: competition today. So shout out to my dad. It was
- 1:46Speaker 2: a lot of fun, y'all. We had flash flooding today.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It was, oh my God, the cars all got covered
- 1:51Speaker 2: in mud. It was wild. But it was awesome. Super hot.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I was tired, but I'm here today. And I tell
- 2:00Speaker 2: you what, I get excited and all jacked up on
- 2:03Speaker 2: Mountain Dew right before these shows. Okay, if anybody knows
- 2:06Speaker 2: that reference, it is from Talladega Nights. And tonight, we
- 2:10Speaker 2: have such a fantastic show for you guys. We're going
- 2:14Speaker 2: to get into the Pond Creek Monster tonight with Bryce.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Y'all remember Bryce came on the show last. About eight
- 2:20Speaker 2: months ago, I think it was back in January, we
- 2:23Speaker 2: had him on and we had such a wonderful time
- 2:26Speaker 2: talking with him about his family's experiences out on his farm.
- 2:30Speaker 2: They have a lot of land down in southern Illinois
- 2:34Speaker 2: and they've had some more encounters since then. So we're
- 2:37Speaker 2: going to get into an update today. And since then
- 2:40Speaker 2: also Bryce has been speaking. He is a highly sought
- 2:44Speaker 2: after speaker at some of these Bigfoot festivals now. And
- 2:48Speaker 2: so we're going to talk about that a little bit
- 2:50Speaker 2: today as well. And so much more. Okay, y'all. So
- 2:56Speaker 2: if you guys want to check out my website and
- 2:58Speaker 2: stuff and all my shows, go over to thecryptohunters.com. And
- 3:03Speaker 2: you can find all of my shows there. And also
- 3:05Speaker 2: I do have a Patreon if you guys want to
- 3:08Speaker 2: support my work. And you can become a channel member
- 3:09Speaker 2: here as well if you're interested. And also I do
- 3:13Speaker 2: have a shop over on Etsy. It's called War Woman Goods.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So thank you guys so much for all your support there. OK, well, actually,
- 3:21Speaker 2: I was going to show a couple of pictures. OK,
- 3:23Speaker 2: I was kind of like on the fence. Should I
- 3:25Speaker 2: show these or not? I do want to tell you
- 3:27Speaker 2: all that in this automobile museum, by the way, if
- 3:29Speaker 2: you're into NASCAR, I did make a Talladega Knights reference
- 3:32Speaker 2: while ago. I got to go see some real. And
- 3:35Speaker 2: of course, y'all, I grew up racing. My grandfather had
- 3:38Speaker 2: racing teams, NASCAR back in the day. I used to
- 3:41Speaker 2: know a bunch of race car drivers. I used to
- 3:43Speaker 2: be a race car driver.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:44Speaker 2: In case y'all didn't know, in case you're wondering why
- 3:46Speaker 2: I'm so obsessed with Talladega Nights, but I race midget cars.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:51Speaker 2: When I was a, when I was a teenager, but
- 3:53Speaker 2: I got to see Richard Petty's old car, like some real,
- 3:56Speaker 2: real cars. Look at that. They don't make cars like
- 3:58Speaker 2: they used to y'all. They just don't.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We got Richard Petty. I don't even know. I can't
- 4:04Speaker 2: remember who else cars these are. That looks like Bill
- 4:07Speaker 2: Elliott's car right there. I don't even know. But, but
- 4:11Speaker 2: It was awesome. So I just thought I'd show you
- 4:12Speaker 2: all this. Now, if you want to wonder why do
- 4:14Speaker 2: we not have flying cars yet? Well, I don't know.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Back in the 1950s and 60s, I think they were
- 4:19Speaker 2: close to having flying cars. Okay. And check out that
- 4:23Speaker 2: aerodynamic looking weird thing right there. If you want to
- 4:27Speaker 2: see something that's even more strange, they had stuff like this.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I mean, you'd think that we'd have cars that look
- 4:33Speaker 2: more like that today and not trash dumpsters. Okay. And
- 4:38Speaker 2: no offense. No offense, and Gremlins as well, y'all. Okay.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And there's some of the cars that were there. Here's
- 4:45Speaker 2: my dad. Shout out to my dad. That's my dad's
- 4:47Speaker 2: Mustang right there. That's one of his prized possession right there.
- 4:50Speaker 2: And there's dad. Shout out to Pops. Congratulations today. Y'all
- 4:54Speaker 2: saw me last year. I gave him a congratulations. He
- 4:56Speaker 2: won last year too, y'all. Okay. So he loves that car.
- 4:59Speaker 2: 65 Ford Mustang Cobra.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But anyways.
- 5:04Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Well, let's get to our show. Enough about what I
- 5:07Speaker 2: did today. I want to hear what Bryce has been
- 5:10Speaker 2: up to, okay? I think that we are about to
- 5:13Speaker 2: have a fun, fun time tonight. All right, so on
- 5:16Speaker 2: this episode, we got Bryce Edwards here. We're going to
- 5:18Speaker 2: discuss his family's history of Bigfoot and strange creatures on
- 5:22Speaker 2: their 642-acre farm in southern Illinois near the Shawnee National Forest,
- 5:29Speaker 2: Pond Creek, and the region of legendary Big Muddy Monster Encounters.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And his family's experienced massive footprints, eerie screams, tree knocks,
- 5:39Speaker 2: mimic voices, nighttime whistles, and two shocking Sasquatch sightings since
- 5:44Speaker 2: the 1960s, including one broad daylight encounter of a black
- 5:48Speaker 2: eight foot tall creature digging in the hillside. And last
- 5:51Speaker 2: time he was here, I was like, hey, that sounds
- 5:54Speaker 2: like a dog man. OK, so we're going to talk
- 5:56Speaker 2: about that today. His dad might have had his own
- 5:59Speaker 2: encounter with that. A new documentary on the Pond Creek
- 6:03Speaker 2: Monster was recently released, and you guys can find that
- 6:05Speaker 2: link to the video in the description box. I'm sure
- 6:08Speaker 2: the moderators will be putting that in the chat tonight.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I'm going to show it to you, not the documentary.
- 6:14Speaker 2: We're just going to show you the thumbnail and everything.
- 6:16Speaker 2: We'll talk about that tonight. We're going to discuss that
- 6:19Speaker 2: documentary and Bryce's newest cryptid encounters tonight. All the things
- 6:24Speaker 2: that's happened since he visited us last time on the
- 6:27Speaker 2: show back in January. Please help me welcome to the show, Mr.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Bryce Edwards.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Hey, Bryce. Hey, Jess. How you doing?
- 6:35Speaker 2: Hey, I'm excellent. How are you tonight?
- 6:38Speaker 3: I'm doing good.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Doing good.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Hello, everybody in the chat.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That's excellent.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Man, you have been a busy man. What has been
- 6:46Speaker 2: going on?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Oh, man, it's been a while. I've been doing a
- 6:49Speaker 1: bunch of podcasts. Now I've been doing speaking engagements. Got
- 6:52Speaker 1: the documentary released finally. It's been doing really well. Um,
- 6:57Speaker 1: first it started off on my buddy, Joe. He's the
- 7:00Speaker 1: guy that filmed everything started off just on like the
- 7:03Speaker 1: member side of his channel. And then we got, uh,
- 7:07Speaker 1: some smaller, um, like streaming services and stuff to pick
- 7:12Speaker 1: it up. And we're still waiting for to be and Amazon,
- 7:17Speaker 1: but we thought the distributor was just taking their sweet
- 7:20Speaker 1: time with it. But apparently it's taken like eight months
- 7:23Speaker 1: now to get through with those two. So, Oh yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I don't know, but Hey, you know, it'll get on there.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It won't either way. It's still getting a lot of
- 7:32Speaker 1: views on YouTube at least. And, um, I'm happy with.
- 7:35Speaker 3: That because we put our heart and soul into it.
- 7:37Speaker 3: So it's pretty cool.
- 7:40Speaker 2: That's fantastic. Let me go ahead and pull it up.
- 7:42Speaker 2: So the audience can see what this documentary looks like.
- 7:44Speaker 2: If you guys want to, uh, check this out, uh,
- 7:48Speaker 2: there is a link in the description box tonight. It's
- 7:50Speaker 2: called the pond Creek monster, uh, new 2026 Bigfoot documentary. Um,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I watched this. I love it. I think it's great, Bryce.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I'm super excited for you guys. And it actually, your
- 8:03Speaker 2: whole family's in there just about, right?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah, my dad, my wife, yeah. And then we even got, uh, Tony,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Tony Gerard, Gerard, Gerard. I can't remember how he pronounces
- 8:14Speaker 1: his last name. Um, he was on, uh, the old,
- 8:17Speaker 1: the old version of monster quest. He was on a
- 8:20Speaker 1: lot of episodes of it and, uh, come to find
- 8:23Speaker 1: out he actually lives in Southern Illinois, a little further
- 8:25Speaker 1: South than me, but it was cool to get him
- 8:27Speaker 1: on it. So yeah, it's, it's, it's really neat. And, um,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I hope everybody checks it out. Um, it's free to
- 8:34Speaker 1: check out on, on the YouTube page right there. Just
- 8:36Speaker 1: click that link and, uh, Yeah, I mean, you know,
- 8:42Speaker 1: it's been pretty wild. My dad, man, my dad, that
- 8:47Speaker 1: documentary and my dad being on it, like, he did
- 8:50Speaker 1: such a good job on it.
- 8:51Speaker 3: He was like, I don't know if I want to
- 8:52Speaker 3: be on it or not. And, I mean, he killed it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Like, really, he's the.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Star of the documentary. You know what I mean?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Like, just listening to him talk, it just backs up
- 9:01Speaker 1: everything I've said, you know, and that way people can
- 9:03Speaker 1: be like, well, his dad's experiencing it, too.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You know, it just makes any people.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Who may have doubts you know, maybe not have as
- 9:10Speaker 1: much doubt or no doubt at all, you know, and
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm happy about that and my wife's on it. And, uh,
- 9:16Speaker 1: that's pretty cool too. Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And they were, they were fantastic by the way. And, uh, and, and,
- 9:21Speaker 2: and actually some of the things that they were talking about,
- 9:23Speaker 2: I was going to maybe even bring up tonight, uh,
- 9:26Speaker 2: because you're, I mean, you're, yeah, your dad, your dad
- 9:29Speaker 2: was a star by the way.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He was, he's, so are you. Okay. And all y'all,
- 9:35Speaker 2: I thought it was, I thought it was very well done.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And, uh, thank you.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And I was actually, I took note of like your
- 9:42Speaker 2: wife saying that there's been a lot of blood and
- 9:45Speaker 2: tragedy on that land and stuff. And I was like, man,
- 9:48Speaker 2: that's something that I talk about a lot when it
- 9:50Speaker 2: comes to the cryptid encounters that people have all over
- 9:53Speaker 2: the country, all over the world. People are having a
- 9:56Speaker 2: lot of encounters and activity on their property where there's
- 9:59Speaker 2: been land disputes and you know civil war battles and
- 10:04Speaker 2: all that kind of stuff it's almost like the land
- 10:06Speaker 2: where the blood is shed is where these cryptids are
- 10:09Speaker 2: hanging out.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Well there used to be a fort on the property
- 10:13Speaker 1: um And, like, that would be on, like, one side
- 10:17Speaker 1: of the road that's there now. And then, like, down
- 10:19Speaker 1: in the field where I had my siding and everything,
- 10:21Speaker 1: the first one, over in that area, there was a
- 10:24Speaker 1: Native American settlement down there. So whenever they built that fort,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I did a little research on it and found out
- 10:31Speaker 1: that was one of the first forts built in America's
- 10:34Speaker 1: expansion west of, like, the Ohio River, River Valley, whatever. So,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I mean, you can think, you know, what they were
- 10:41Speaker 1: there to do. with that native American settlement being there,
- 10:45Speaker 1: not even half mile away, maybe, I mean, you know,
- 10:49Speaker 1: trail of tears, all that stuff. I hate it. You know,
- 10:52Speaker 1: that that happened and everything, but like, um, I don't
- 10:57Speaker 1: know exactly where the fort was. My dad does because
- 11:01Speaker 1: there's like a tree that was growing in one of
- 11:03Speaker 1: the fields or in that field. And he was talking
- 11:06Speaker 1: about how where that tree was, the fort was basically
- 11:09Speaker 1: around that tree. And my great uncle, so my grandma's brother,
- 11:13Speaker 1: he remembered whenever they were really young that there were
- 11:18Speaker 1: still parts of the fort still there that hadn't gone
- 11:22Speaker 1: away with time and all that stuff. And so that
- 11:26Speaker 1: was pretty cool to know that, you know, up until
- 11:28Speaker 1: somewhere in the 1900s, it was there, you know. And so, yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's been excavated and checked out by Southern
- 11:38Speaker 1: Illinois University in Carbondale. And they found like all kinds of,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you know, period for, like, you know, like, having a fort, like,
- 11:47Speaker 1: musket balls, partially, like, part of a sword, some other
- 11:52Speaker 1: stuff like that, and, you know, arrowheads and, you know, like,
- 11:55Speaker 1: axe heads and things like that, I mean, it's all
- 11:58Speaker 1: been found over in that area, and, I mean, I
- 12:00Speaker 1: remember being a kid and finding a bunch of arrowheads
- 12:03Speaker 1: and stuff in the creek back whenever, like, See, now
- 12:06Speaker 1: the way the creek is now, the coal mine, they
- 12:08Speaker 1: kind of rerouted it part of the way. So it's
- 12:12Speaker 1: pretty well always full now. And back in the day,
- 12:15Speaker 1: there'd be times where there wouldn't be any water in it.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And then say you had a big storm come through,
- 12:20Speaker 1: wait a day or two, go back down to the
- 12:22Speaker 1: creek whenever all the water's gone. And you'd find all
- 12:24Speaker 1: kinds of arrowheads, flint pieces and all that. It was
- 12:28Speaker 1: treasure trove down there.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Oh, man, that's really cool. And and so, well, that
- 12:34Speaker 2: that just it shows you there's a whole lot of,
- 12:36Speaker 2: you know, indigenous, you know, history right there. And that
- 12:40Speaker 2: does kind of go hand in hand with like dog
- 12:43Speaker 2: man and sightings and Bigfoot sightings as well. Any kind
- 12:46Speaker 2: of sacred land out there.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And, uh, you know, last time you came on, I
- 12:51Speaker 2: actually was like, Hey, what about all these ancient Egyptian
- 12:54Speaker 2: artifacts that have been found out there and stuff? You
- 12:56Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 12:57Speaker 1: That's weird. Like all of Southern Illinois, it's like known
- 13:00Speaker 1: as little Egypt in my area. And like over in
- 13:04Speaker 1: the Shawnee, uh, the national forest, you've got this area
- 13:07Speaker 1: called garden of the gods. Um, We've got Fern Cliff, which,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I mean, that's not really any Egyptian thing. That's just
- 13:14Speaker 1: another one of the state parks. It's not too far away.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And then you've even got Giant City, which, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 1: that state parks over kind of on the south side
- 13:25Speaker 1: of Carbondale, like leading through like what Murfreesboro with a
- 13:28Speaker 1: big muddy monster was and all that stuff. I mean
- 13:31Speaker 1: it's all through there and there's still sightings of Bigfoot
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the Murfreesboro area after I did a couple shows
- 13:39Speaker 1: some local people started reaching out to me and like
- 13:41Speaker 1: thanking me for going on bringing awareness to Southern Illinois
- 13:44Speaker 1: that's really why I'm doing all this it's just because
- 13:46Speaker 1: I want people to know like hey it's here too
- 13:49Speaker 1: you know it's not just you know Pacific Northwest or
- 13:52Speaker 1: the Appalachian Mountains you know I mean Oklahoma's got them
- 13:56Speaker 1: you know it's like we got it it's wild you
- 13:59Speaker 1: know And that was basically whenever I did my speaking
- 14:02Speaker 1: engagement this last time, that was what I ended with.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know, I was just like, you know, I'm doing this.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be a name or nothing. I'm
- 14:09Speaker 1: just trying to bring awareness that these preachers are here.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And just because I've had positive interactions doesn't mean it's
- 14:15Speaker 1: always going to go that way for me or that
- 14:17Speaker 1: it's going to go that way for anybody else in
- 14:19Speaker 1: Southern Illinois, you know, because you just never know.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Gosh, there's been so many people. I mean, I've had
- 14:26Speaker 2: other people that have come on my show that have
- 14:27Speaker 2: talked about Illinois and I get, That whole area, I
- 14:31Speaker 2: just say it's all up north, okay? Because I live
- 14:33Speaker 2: down here in the deep south, down in Georgia. Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Everything up north, okay? Y'all are having a lot of
- 14:39Speaker 2: dogman and Bigfoot activity right now. And I'm meeting a
- 14:43Speaker 2: lot of people talking about their activity out of, well,
- 14:45Speaker 2: it's Indiana and Illinois, okay? And Ohio as well. What
- 14:50Speaker 2: do you think, is there any kind of like, do
- 14:52Speaker 2: you have any explanation for like why maybe there's been
- 14:54Speaker 2: an uptick and all these like, they call it a
- 14:56Speaker 2: Bigfoot flap, which I think is funny.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Well, I....
- 15:03Speaker 3: I always thought maybe, you know, it had something to
- 15:07Speaker 3: do with the waterways.
- 15:08Speaker 1: But after I was talking with Martin Groves on Saturday,
- 15:13Speaker 1: he kind of brought up something that made a lot
- 15:15Speaker 1: of sense to me that, you know, down in Tennessee
- 15:17Speaker 1: and Kentucky area, that there's a lot of berries that
- 15:20Speaker 1: are starting at the time we're coming into bloom and
- 15:23Speaker 1: all that.
- 15:24Speaker 3: And he's like, they're all over the place.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And he's like, so these things coming down, come down,
- 15:28Speaker 1: get the berries, you know, mushrooms, whatever. And then they
- 15:31Speaker 1: just kind of, migrate back up to where they were before,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you know, I hadn't really thought about that, but I mean, yeah,
- 15:38Speaker 1: it makes sense. We got a wild blackberries growing out
- 15:42Speaker 1: on the farm. And I mean, I remember being a kid.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I remember being a kid just walking and, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 1: walking along the side of the road, seeing them and
- 15:49Speaker 1: just being like picking them off and eating them, you know?
- 15:54Speaker 1: And I found out too, with that Tony Gerrard story,
- 15:57Speaker 1: he discovered out there on the farm, I just saw
- 16:00Speaker 1: like this really pretty blue flower and didn't think anything
- 16:03Speaker 1: of it. And he said that that, when like, I
- 16:06Speaker 1: guess you like look around, you'd see these like green little,
- 16:09Speaker 1: like I thought almost looked like Kiwis, but it was
- 16:12Speaker 1: like a native passion fruit. And yeah, so we got
- 16:16Speaker 1: those out there.
- 16:17Speaker 3: That was new to me. I didn't even know we
- 16:18Speaker 3: had that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And so like, you know, just that, I will say,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I think Bigfoot likes persimmons. Because behind dad's house, there's like,
- 16:28Speaker 1: you know, one barn and then there's another barn and
- 16:31Speaker 1: then there's a small field behind that. And back over
- 16:34Speaker 1: there in the far left corner, there's persimmon trees back there.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And I went back there.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Dad had knee replacement about a month ago. So it
- 16:45Speaker 1: was probably about three weeks ago I was back there.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm going to look to see
- 16:50Speaker 1: if there's any persimmons. I don't even know if they're
- 16:52Speaker 1: in season yet or not. But I went back there
- 16:54Speaker 1: and there was nothing on the trees. They were completely
- 16:57Speaker 1: picked clean. Not even like a one starting or anything
- 17:02Speaker 1: like that. And you know, dad, before he had his
- 17:06Speaker 1: knee surgery, he bush hogged a lot. So, you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: back there he had cut it down and some of
- 17:11Speaker 1: that grass, like the taller grass that had been cut
- 17:13Speaker 1: down and everything, you could see big impressions, but it
- 17:17Speaker 1: was nothing that you could, you know, like cast or
- 17:21Speaker 1: even get a good picture of. It was just like,
- 17:23Speaker 1: if you were there looking at it, you can see, okay,
- 17:25Speaker 1: this is a lot bigger footprint than I have.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And I have 13, you know, I wear a 13.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So I got a big foot. You're a big foot.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm just kidding. And then I have my little
- 17:37Speaker 1: man with me and, you know, he's all about going
- 17:40Speaker 1: and looking for Bigfoot and all that stuff. Of course,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I only ever have him with me, like just walking around,
- 17:45Speaker 1: not going in the woods or nothing during the daytime.
- 17:47Speaker 3: If I'm actually going to squash, I'm like, nah, you're
- 17:49Speaker 3: going to.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Stay at home with your mom. But, you know, but it's,
- 17:54Speaker 1: it's pretty wild. And just, you know, like dad, he's,
- 18:00Speaker 1: Now that he knows what to listen for and all that,
- 18:02Speaker 1: because dad lives out there. I don't live out there.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I just go out there when I can. And he's like, man,
- 18:08Speaker 1: he goes, I hear all kinds of stuff now. Stuff that,
- 18:11Speaker 1: you know, he had heard before and stuff that I
- 18:14Speaker 1: had heard before as a kid and just never associated with,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you know, Bigfoot activity.
- 18:19Speaker 3: And like example.
- 18:21Speaker 1: You know, being a kid, you know, I would just
- 18:23Speaker 1: cut through the field, go out the back door at
- 18:25Speaker 1: dad's house to go to my grandparents' house instead of
- 18:28Speaker 1: having to walk on the road, you know. And I
- 18:31Speaker 1: remember a lot of times, like, especially in like the
- 18:35Speaker 1: mid nineties or early nineties cutting through there. And you
- 18:40Speaker 1: would hear what you would think was like some farmer,
- 18:42Speaker 1: like fixing his fence or building a barn or something,
- 18:45Speaker 1: you know, just sounded like, you know, hammer on wood. Well,
- 18:49Speaker 1: thinking back on it now and knowing there's no new
- 18:51Speaker 1: fences or new barns that were built in the last
- 18:52Speaker 1: 30 years, you know, it's like, that might've been tree
- 18:55Speaker 1: knocks and, um, you know, and it's just, but like
- 18:59Speaker 1: when you're a kid, you just, you don't think about that,
- 19:01Speaker 1: especially back then, you know, Bigfoot wasn't a big topic really.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I mean, kind of, but not, not to the level
- 19:08Speaker 1: that it is now, you know? No.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And people don't want to think about them being on
- 19:13Speaker 2: their own property. Bigfoot is something that's up in the
- 19:16Speaker 2: Pacific Northwest, you know, like there's that one Bigfoot and
- 19:19Speaker 2: the normal average everyday person is not like the, let's
- 19:23Speaker 2: just say the normies, you know, they're, they're not going
- 19:26Speaker 2: to think like, Oh, there's, that can be a Bigfoot.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I mean, even us at some point, like I would
- 19:30Speaker 2: have never thought that I grew up on a farm
- 19:32Speaker 2: myself and I'd heard stuff. I wouldn't have thought it
- 19:35Speaker 2: was a Bigfoot, you know, that's interesting.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I was reading what this guy said about dog man
- 19:41Speaker 1: building gazebo type structures and.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that's Sovereign Cosmic Wildman.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Man. I remember seeing something that kind of looked like
- 19:50Speaker 1: a gazebo type structure it was well it's basically right
- 19:55Speaker 1: around the time dad heard that roar back in 2015
- 19:58Speaker 1: that we found like several of them um but i
- 20:02Speaker 1: thought i mean i didn't really know what i was
- 20:04Speaker 1: looking at back then but to me it just looked
- 20:07Speaker 1: like like huts almost made out of like just twigs
- 20:11Speaker 1: and like tree branches and stuff. And had like a
- 20:14Speaker 1: bunch of like a leaf litter across the top and everything.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But seeing that, you know, it's like, Oh God, that
- 20:21Speaker 1: could have been dog man. And since my dad gave
- 20:23Speaker 1: me the okay to talk about a sighting of his,
- 20:26Speaker 1: which I can get into whenever.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Now let's talk about it.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Let's talk about that. I want to hear about it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Okay. So when I had my second sighting, um i
- 20:36Speaker 1: was describing it and everything and dad dad was acting
- 20:39Speaker 1: kind of weird whenever i said it the second time
- 20:41Speaker 1: you know seeing it the second time and i had
- 20:43Speaker 1: a witness with me he saw it too i mean
- 20:45Speaker 1: we were sitting on the back of joe's truck whenever
- 20:48Speaker 1: we were getting ready to go over to basically where
- 20:51Speaker 1: i found those huts at you know look well putt
- 20:53Speaker 1: looking things back in 2015 um and uh.
- 20:59Speaker 3: If people ask like well he hasn't said that before
- 21:01Speaker 3: i hadn't thought.
- 21:02Speaker 1: About it until i saw that comment so you know
- 21:04Speaker 1: whatever but Anyways, we were pulling out there. We were
- 21:07Speaker 1: going to do a fireside interview with Amber to talk
- 21:10Speaker 1: about the stuff that my grandma told her about and
- 21:13Speaker 1: everything back whenever she was pregnant with our youngest because
- 21:15Speaker 1: she had a really hard pregnancy.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So while I was at work, grandma would come hang
- 21:19Speaker 3: out with her.
- 21:20Speaker 1: And she'd tell her stories, you know, about things she
- 21:23Speaker 1: experienced out on the farm, all the strangeness and everything.
- 21:25Speaker 1: She talked about the honey bear sighting she had, you know,
- 21:28Speaker 1: honey bear, back in 1963. And that's as far back
- 21:33Speaker 1: as I have any sightings. But anyways... So I was
- 21:36Speaker 1: talking about, you know, what I saw, it was black,
- 21:41Speaker 1: looked to be eight foot tall, even from a distance.
- 21:43Speaker 1: You could tell this was not just a person standing there.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Solid black, a little more of a leaner build. It
- 21:49Speaker 1: wasn't a big hulking figure like Patty was. And, you know,
- 21:53Speaker 1: my first sighting was the same way. That's why I
- 21:55Speaker 1: think it was the same one or like a brother
- 21:57Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 21:58Speaker 3: But. you know, we're sitting there, we're watching this. I've
- 22:03Speaker 3: got this witness with me.
- 22:04Speaker 1: People want to jump my butt about like, well, why
- 22:07Speaker 1: didn't you stop and start filming? I mean, even Joe
- 22:10Speaker 1: got mad at me because I didn't say, Hey, stop
- 22:12Speaker 1: or anything like that. Like me and him were just
- 22:14Speaker 1: locked in on it, like confirming to each other that
- 22:16Speaker 1: we're seeing this.
- 22:18Speaker 3: And like, that's how it is. Whenever you see Bigfoot,
- 22:20Speaker 3: if you're not trying.
- 22:21Speaker 1: To film Bigfoot, you know, if you don't have your
- 22:23Speaker 1: camera already out and just walking around like, Hey, where's Bigfoot,
- 22:26Speaker 1: you know, all that kind of stuff. Once you see it,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you're just, you're in the moment. You know what I mean?
- 22:31Speaker 1: It's like you're a person would be lucky to see
- 22:34Speaker 1: it one time in their life, let alone twice. You know,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and actually I've had a third sighting, which we'll get
- 22:39Speaker 1: into that later. But that wasn't on the farm. But,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know, it's just one of those deals. So I'm
- 22:47Speaker 1: describing what I saw to dad. He started acting kind
- 22:50Speaker 1: of weird. And I'm like, what?
- 22:52Speaker 3: He's like, oh, nothing. And then, you know, a couple
- 22:56Speaker 3: of days goes by. And I went out.
- 22:59Speaker 1: There and I was just, you know, talking to him,
- 23:01Speaker 1: checking on him and stuff. And he tells me, he goes, man,
- 23:05Speaker 1: he goes, I really wish you wouldn't have described what
- 23:07Speaker 1: you saw.
- 23:07Speaker 3: And I said, well, why?
- 23:08Speaker 1: He goes, well, I've seen something like that. I'm like,
- 23:10Speaker 1: oh yeah. He said, yeah. He goes, but he goes,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you know, I told him, I was just like, oh yeah. So,
- 23:15Speaker 1: you know, the slender build and everything, conical shaped head.
- 23:17Speaker 1: He goes slender build. He's like, but it wasn't a
- 23:20Speaker 1: conical shape. It wasn't, you know, it wasn't a big
- 23:22Speaker 1: foot head or nothing. I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 23:26Speaker 1: And he goes, What I saw, it walked by the
- 23:30Speaker 1: living room window at his house, broad daylight, because this,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I mean, he said it was like, you know, mid-afternoon,
- 23:39Speaker 1: so like maybe like four o'clock, and he said it
- 23:43Speaker 1: just walked right by his front window, not front window,
- 23:47Speaker 1: but the living room window, which would be on the
- 23:49Speaker 1: east side of the house, and he was just like,
- 23:54Speaker 1: if he hadn't just been looking at the window, he
- 23:56Speaker 1: wouldn't have seen it go by. But he said he
- 23:59Speaker 1: only saw from like here down. But he said it
- 24:03Speaker 1: reminded him of that Egyptian dog guy. That's a direct quote.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And I go, is this? And he goes, yeah. I go,
- 24:10Speaker 1: that's not Bigfoot. He's like, I know. And I'm like,
- 24:15Speaker 1: so you're telling me you saw dog man.
- 24:19Speaker 3: And he was like, I don't want to say that's
- 24:21Speaker 3: what I saw. He's like, but what else could that be?
- 24:24Speaker 1: And the thing is, is that window, like the top
- 24:27Speaker 1: of that window from like ground level, you're looking at
- 24:31Speaker 1: like six and a half, seven feet, you know, to
- 24:33Speaker 1: the top of that window.
- 24:35Speaker 3: And he saw, like I said, like basically mid face down.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So he caught like the bottom part of the jaw
- 24:40Speaker 1: and everything. And, um, I asked him, I said, well,
- 24:44Speaker 1: did you like, you know, like keep following it through
- 24:47Speaker 1: the house, looking out the windows and stuff. And he
- 24:49Speaker 1: was like, hell no, I didn't. He's like, I was
- 24:51Speaker 1: sitting there in the living room, just like crap. He's like,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I knew the back doors were locked and everything. He's like,
- 24:56Speaker 1: but I went and got my gun and sat back down.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay. And like, here's the thing. I
- 25:01Speaker 1: lived in that house after my great grandma passed away.
- 25:05Speaker 1: So like after she passed away, I was the first
- 25:07Speaker 1: person to live there. And you know, besides her for
- 25:10Speaker 1: like a long time. And that windows never had a
- 25:13Speaker 1: shade or, you know, curtain, anything like that. I don't
- 25:18Speaker 1: know why. Right. Curtains.
- 25:21Speaker 2: All windows need curtains. I don't know.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Hey, I was a bachelor. I didn't know.
- 25:29Speaker 1: But, you know, it was like you always felt at
- 25:30Speaker 1: nighttime like something was standing there watching you.
- 25:34Speaker 3: And, you know, so maybe that was it. Maybe it
- 25:37Speaker 3: was a Bigfoot.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I don't know. But. The thing that got me most
- 25:41Speaker 1: about this was he had told me about this great big,
- 25:45Speaker 1: what he called the biggest wolf print he's ever seen.
- 25:49Speaker 3: But like in Southern Illinois, you don't really hear.
- 25:53Speaker 1: About, not to say we don't have them, just you
- 25:55Speaker 1: don't really hear about wolf sightings that much. It's more coyotes,
- 26:01Speaker 1: coy dogs, things like that, wild dogs. But not a
- 26:09Speaker 1: Not a wolf, really.
- 26:13Speaker 3: He was telling me about this print.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Dad's hand is about the size of mine. He said
- 26:19Speaker 1: he put his hand down by it and this print
- 26:23Speaker 1: was bigger than his hand in width and length. He
- 26:30Speaker 1: wanted me to see it, but that week I was
- 26:33Speaker 1: working a bunch of 12-hour shifts at the factory. It's
- 26:35Speaker 1: like you know, I can't get out there. And so
- 26:43Speaker 1: whenever I can get out there, which is the following week,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'll come out after work.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Well, he called me at work, told me don't bother.
- 26:49Speaker 1: And I was like, why the pipeline, the natural gas
- 26:52Speaker 1: pipeline they put in last year, they were bulldozing right
- 26:56Speaker 1: through there and destroyed that print. He didn't have his phone,
- 26:59Speaker 1: the camera on it, like the lens part was all busted.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So he couldn't take a picture of it. And I mean,
- 27:06Speaker 1: you know, honestly, it's, I know his camera was like that.
- 27:09Speaker 1: And I don't even know if dad would have even
- 27:10Speaker 1: thought to have taken a picture of it. He was
- 27:12Speaker 1: just like, hey, I want you to come see this.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You know, I mean, dad's old school. So and dad's
- 27:17Speaker 1: not a researcher. You know, he's just a guy walking
- 27:19Speaker 1: around out on his farm. And so you put that
- 27:25Speaker 1: with the sighting he had on the documentary. You'll hear
- 27:30Speaker 1: a pack of coyotes going off and then you'll hear
- 27:33Speaker 1: something else going off with them. Now, the first time
- 27:36Speaker 1: I heard it, I was because I was strictly thinking
- 27:39Speaker 1: Bigfoot only is out there.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I'm thinking, wow, Bigfoot's really not sounding like a Bigfoot.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You know, I was like, but we've heard him mimic
- 27:47Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Owls, train whistles, you know, people, you know, just, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 3: weird things.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So it's like I didn't really think much of it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: But then I don't remember. I think it was on
- 28:01Speaker 1: Daryl Denton's Facebook group, maybe. But somebody played this or
- 28:06Speaker 1: posted this audio clip that was of a dog man,
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know, supposedly. And I listened to it. And then
- 28:13Speaker 1: I went back and listened to that audio that Joe
- 28:17Speaker 1: had sent me. Because before he ever put it on there.
- 28:19Speaker 3: He sent it to me. He's like, dude, check this out.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And I don't know if he was thinking dog man
- 28:24Speaker 1: either at the time. He was just thinking, what is that?
- 28:26Speaker 1: You know, I remember him asking, like, what is that?
- 28:28Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know, Bigfoot, I guess, you know.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But I'm no, you know, yeah, I've been doing this
- 28:34Speaker 1: for a couple of years.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Now, but like I'm still a rookie, you know, like
- 28:39Speaker 3: I couldn't tell you.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But whenever I heard that recording and it sounded so
- 28:45Speaker 1: similar to the one we got, it was like, oh, shit. OK,
- 28:51Speaker 1: we OK, you know, and then dad tells me about
- 28:54Speaker 1: that sighting confirming it. Um, he followed that up with,
- 28:59Speaker 1: he has these two dogs at the house. Uh, one's
- 29:01Speaker 1: this big St. Bernard and then the other one's this
- 29:03Speaker 1: little black mutt and mutt every so often middle of
- 29:08Speaker 1: the night, it'll just like lose its mind barking and
- 29:12Speaker 1: growling and everything at that window. and wanting to go
- 29:17Speaker 1: outside you know so you know dad would get up
- 29:20Speaker 1: he would let the dogs out and you know thinking
- 29:23Speaker 1: they just need to go out and do their business
- 29:25Speaker 1: or whatever but whenever yuki was acting like that it
- 29:28Speaker 1: would take off and go around the house and immediately
- 29:31Speaker 1: go barking and chasing after whatever and then of course
- 29:34Speaker 1: the big St.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Bernard, you know, following with it. But, uh, it's like, man, like, was.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That back there?
- 29:43Speaker 3: And, you know, Yuki picked up on it and was like, uh,
- 29:46Speaker 3: and all this kind of stuff.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Cause I mean, like I said, he's not very big,
- 29:49Speaker 1: but he ain't going to back down either, you know?
- 29:52Speaker 1: So pretty wild. Um, I mean, I'm trying to get
- 29:58Speaker 1: back out there on the farm. Um, cause you know,
- 30:01Speaker 1: like I would love to live where I can do
- 30:03Speaker 1: my research at and, you know, it would just be
- 30:06Speaker 1: a lot better for everything that I'm trying to do
- 30:09Speaker 1: that way. And but, you know, like dad told me,
- 30:13Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, well, you get out here and everything
- 30:15Speaker 1: is like, be careful what you wish for is like
- 30:17Speaker 1: because they might come visit you. And I'm like, well,
- 30:20Speaker 1: and I mean, he's talked about being out there. And
- 30:23Speaker 1: here's another reason why I think it might be a
- 30:25Speaker 1: dog man out there, too, because I know Bigfoot will
- 30:29Speaker 1: slap houses and things like that. But have you ever
- 30:33Speaker 1: heard of Bigfoot slapping a pole barn, but then kind
- 30:37Speaker 1: of raking its hand across like a pole barn, how
- 30:39Speaker 1: that sheet metal is, how it's got like the ripples
- 30:42Speaker 1: in it or something like that?
- 30:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I heard dog men do that actually, too. Yeah, see, that's.
- 30:51Speaker 1: What dad's thinking happened on that particular night.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah, actually, when they do the scraping and stuff like that,
- 30:57Speaker 2: that's more associated with dog men, actually. And I just
- 31:01Speaker 2: did an investigation like about, you know, 11 miles from
- 31:04Speaker 2: my house or something like that. I mean, it was
- 31:05Speaker 2: like super close to where I live. And it's on
- 31:08Speaker 2: a farm where this lady and her family, they're having
- 31:11Speaker 2: her husband's kind of in denial on it, of course.
- 31:13Speaker 2: But I say, of course, he's kind of in denial
- 31:17Speaker 2: about some of the stuff that's happening there. But she
- 31:20Speaker 2: something her neighbors are being affected by this now, whatever
- 31:24Speaker 2: it is, it's taking their chickens and stuff. But there's
- 31:26Speaker 2: it's Dogman and Bigfoot out there. And some of the
- 31:30Speaker 2: reports are actually like things like crashing into like bending
- 31:34Speaker 2: out like the tin or the aluminum and the chicken
- 31:37Speaker 2: coops and stuff like that. And like pounding into it
- 31:40Speaker 2: and stuff. I know that sounds kind of weird, but yeah,
- 31:44Speaker 2: it's kind of typical.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy. See, my brother... he had a kind
- 31:53Speaker 1: of like a little tiny farm out there. He had
- 31:56Speaker 1: this tiny house that him and his girlfriend at the
- 31:58Speaker 1: time had. And then he had this like small little
- 32:01Speaker 1: like farm basically on like an acre. But he had like,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you know, turkeys, he had this great big pig, goats,
- 32:08Speaker 1: all these different animals. And I mean, who's to say
- 32:11Speaker 1: that wasn't attracting something. Now, as far as I know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: he never had anything go missing, but there was times
- 32:19Speaker 1: whenever like the fence was kind of like, The fencing
- 32:23Speaker 1: was kind of bent in an odd way. Not a
- 32:25Speaker 1: way that one of the animals would have done because
- 32:27Speaker 1: it was more at the top.
- 32:29Speaker 3: So, you know, that's interesting.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Whenever Dad had that deal with the pole barn and everything,
- 32:37Speaker 1: him and his buddy Dion, they were sitting out there
- 32:39Speaker 1: on Dion's side-by-side just talking.
- 32:43Speaker 3: And they started hearing this growling.
- 32:46Speaker 1: And then....
- 32:48Speaker 3: All of a sudden they heard that slap.
- 32:50Speaker 1: And then, like I said, how the, how it went back,
- 32:52Speaker 1: you know, and kind of like that, it's like, you
- 32:55Speaker 1: know what I mean? Sorry.
- 32:58Speaker 3: And, um, so, you know, they were like, what was that?
- 33:02Speaker 1: And dad's like, I don't know. I'm going in.
- 33:04Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, I'm getting out of here. So that
- 33:06Speaker 3: was the end of them hanging out that night.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But, um, it's been weird because now that I'm thinking
- 33:12Speaker 1: about dog, man, my brother, he had this weird encounter
- 33:16Speaker 1: out there. And he went to where basically over in
- 33:22Speaker 1: the area where we called the bluff, he went over
- 33:25Speaker 1: that way on the farm. And that's like on the
- 33:27Speaker 1: opposite end.
- 33:29Speaker 3: And there's some woods over there and everything.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And then like past the bluff, our property and property
- 33:35Speaker 1: line ends just past the bluff. And then you've got
- 33:39Speaker 1: like this big, well, at least at the time, I
- 33:41Speaker 1: remember it was a big hunting club. And, um, so
- 33:46Speaker 1: you got like, I want to say it was like
- 33:47Speaker 1: a 500 acre hunting club. So, I mean, you got
- 33:49Speaker 1: all that land right there.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:52Speaker 1: But he was over there and he, he said he
- 33:56Speaker 1: heard this growling and he hadn't got to the tree
- 34:00Speaker 1: line yet. Like he was probably, I don't know, 30.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yards we'll say. And, um, he kept hearing this growling
- 34:07Speaker 3: and stuff. And he's just.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Like, it was, he was like, it was weird.
- 34:12Speaker 3: He was like, I didn't know that, uh.
- 34:15Speaker 1: You know, Bigfoot could be on all fours going back
- 34:18Speaker 1: and forth, kind of like a wolf or something. And
- 34:21Speaker 1: I'm like, well, yeah, they can go on all fours.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I'm like, but what do you mean like a wolf?
- 34:26Speaker 3: And he was like, well, you know, the eyes, they
- 34:27Speaker 3: were kind of amber colored, you know?
- 34:29Speaker 1: And I was like, well, typical, right? Yeah. And then, yeah.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And then he said, yeah, he goes, and he's like,
- 34:36Speaker 1: and I saw the eyes, you know, I saw him
- 34:38Speaker 1: raise up and I'm like, what, what happened? And he
- 34:41Speaker 1: was like, I just kept, I just kept hearing this
- 34:44Speaker 1: growling and everything. And I was like, well, what'd you do?
- 34:45Speaker 1: He's just like, well, I got the hell out of there.
- 34:47Speaker 1: He's like, I wasn't hanging out. Something did that. He
- 34:49Speaker 1: was like, Oh, I'm out.
- 34:50Speaker 3: He was like, you go mess with Bigfoot. I'm like,
- 34:54Speaker 3: that's not Bigfoot.
- 34:55Speaker 1: You know? It was like, and he told me that
- 34:58Speaker 1: before dad ever told me about the sighting. So it
- 35:00Speaker 1: was like, there was all these like could be before
- 35:03Speaker 1: dad actually said yes. And, um, and then like, you know,
- 35:08Speaker 1: like with Bigfoot, man, it's like, I had that sighting, well,
- 35:12Speaker 1: to kick it off, for anybody who doesn't know my story,
- 35:15Speaker 1: 2023 on Mother's Day, month of May, my wife wanted
- 35:19Speaker 1: to go out to the farm and just do some foraging.
- 35:22Speaker 1: So we went out there and we went behind my
- 35:25Speaker 1: cousin's place. He's been passed away at that point. He
- 35:29Speaker 1: died in 2018. But behind his house, there was a
- 35:34Speaker 1: little bit of overgrown area. And then there was this field.
- 35:38Speaker 1: The field had been dissed about a week and a half,
- 35:40Speaker 1: two weeks before we got there. And whenever we were
- 35:45Speaker 1: going through the tall grass and everything to get to
- 35:47Speaker 1: the field, because once you get to the field, you
- 35:48Speaker 1: cut the corner and there's the woods. And we found this,
- 35:54Speaker 1: what at first I thought was just like a deer
- 35:55Speaker 1: bedding spot. Didn't really think much of it, but what
- 35:59Speaker 1: we discovered in the field makes me wonder if it
- 36:01Speaker 1: was like a Bigfoot ambush spot, you know, I mean,
- 36:03Speaker 1: for hunting. Um, my oldest son, he was eight at
- 36:07Speaker 1: the time. He got ahead of us and he goes,
- 36:09Speaker 1: Hey dad, there's footprints up here. He's like, somebody's here.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, what? I get up there. I see
- 36:16Speaker 1: the footprints and I'm like, all right, everybody hang tight.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I'm going to run back to the car and grab
- 36:20Speaker 1: my tape measure. Cause these were way bigger footprints than
- 36:23Speaker 1: I have. And like I said, I were a 13.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I went and got my tape measure, measured amount. It
- 36:27Speaker 1: was 18 inches long by five and a half inches wide.
- 36:31Speaker 1: And I mean, I'm like, okay, because I'm thinking, okay,
- 36:35Speaker 1: this is three years after dad heard a roar.
- 36:38Speaker 3: It was a, uh, late summer day or evening, just,
- 36:43Speaker 3: just about dark.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Um, and, uh, he was over at Jerry's house talking
- 36:48Speaker 1: with Jerry and, you know, birds chirping, uh, insects making
- 36:52Speaker 1: noise and across the road from Jerry's house, you There
- 36:59Speaker 1: was a pack of coyotes that started going off. And
- 37:01Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, dad said something just went
- 37:04Speaker 1: and just everything went dead quiet. And like hair on
- 37:07Speaker 1: his arm stood up and Jerry. And these are two
- 37:09Speaker 1: guys that do not scare easy. And they're like, what
- 37:12Speaker 1: the hell is that? They never saw nothing. And it
- 37:14Speaker 1: only did the one roar. And that was it. So,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you know, dad told me about it the next day.
- 37:19Speaker 1: He's like, you're going to think I'm crazy, but I
- 37:21Speaker 1: swear I heard a Bigfoot roar. And I'm like, what?
- 37:23Speaker 3: Because even in 2015, I'm still not thinking Bigfoot and
- 37:25Speaker 3: so on.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Wrong. But, you know, but so that was, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 1: three years, no, not three years, eight years before we
- 37:38Speaker 1: found those prints. And that was basically a straight line
- 37:41Speaker 1: from where he heard that roar come from. So I'm thinking, OK,
- 37:45Speaker 1: maybe dad did hear that. And what reason I said
- 37:48Speaker 1: the thing about it being like a ambush spot where
- 37:51Speaker 1: we found what I thought was a deer bedding spot
- 37:53Speaker 1: at first. was we found this deer skeleton, but it
- 37:57Speaker 1: was unlike any kind of deer kill I've ever seen.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Like we came up on the back half, it completely clean,
- 38:03Speaker 1: like fully intact.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Wasn't spread out or nothing. Like coyotes got ahold of it.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Then about 20 feet up, we found the front half
- 38:11Speaker 1: and it was picked clean, except for the front legs
- 38:13Speaker 1: from like, say like the knee joint to the hoof,
- 38:15Speaker 1: there was still fur right there. But other than that,
- 38:17Speaker 1: I mean, it was almost like something got this deer,
- 38:20Speaker 1: must've broke its neck, I would assume. And then just
- 38:23Speaker 1: ripped it in half. And, like, had part of it
- 38:26Speaker 1: over here, had part of it over there. I don't know.
- 38:29Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 38:29Speaker 1: But we found it. Very, very. And I've yet to
- 38:32Speaker 1: see anything like that since out there. And I've yet
- 38:36Speaker 1: to see, like, somebody just randomly post a picture of
- 38:39Speaker 1: finding something like that.
- 38:41Speaker 3: I mean, it was the strangest thing.
- 38:43Speaker 2: It almost sounds like, you know, have you ever seen, like,
- 38:47Speaker 2: a cow that has been mutilated by potentially, like, UFO,
- 38:51Speaker 2: alien activity, stuff like that? Like it's very precise. It's
- 38:55Speaker 2: kind of weird. Like it's, you know, that I'm not
- 38:58Speaker 2: saying that's what that was that y'all found by any means.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But but that is kind of weird. That is weird.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I mean, you like that comment says that did say
- 39:08Speaker 3: they felt.
- 39:08Speaker 1: That roar hit him in the chest. But like, you know,
- 39:14Speaker 1: you were talking about like with the UFOs and stuff
- 39:17Speaker 1: in the documentary towards the end, we actually captured a
- 39:20Speaker 1: pyramid shaped UFO at night. And the footage is the
- 39:24Speaker 1: IR footage because for whatever reason, Joe's regular like filming
- 39:27Speaker 1: camera could not pick it up really. well. Like you see,
- 39:31Speaker 1: like we were seeing like several red lights that would
- 39:34Speaker 1: like kind of go over and blink out. That's what
- 39:37Speaker 1: we were thinking. We were just seeing like orbs in
- 39:38Speaker 1: the sky, you know? And, um, turns out Jason was
- 39:43Speaker 1: filming it with the IR. That's Joe's research partner. And, um,
- 39:47Speaker 1: whenever they got back home and everything, um, Uh, Jason
- 39:50Speaker 1: was watching that footage on like his big 80 inch
- 39:53Speaker 1: TV and was like, oh my God, like that was
- 39:57Speaker 1: one thing.
- 39:57Speaker 3: That wasn't several things. That was one big thing.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And like what it was doing, the reason it looked
- 40:02Speaker 1: like it was blinking out is because it was turning,
- 40:05Speaker 1: but it was also turning this way too. So basically
- 40:08Speaker 1: like once it did its turn, it was almost like
- 40:10Speaker 1: an arrow. And that's weird because it was like it
- 40:13Speaker 1: was below where like a plane would be flying, but
- 40:16Speaker 1: still high up, like too high to be a drone
- 40:19Speaker 1: or anything like that. And I mean, just the sheer
- 40:21Speaker 1: size of this thing, knowing how far apart those lights
- 40:24Speaker 1: looked in the sky. This thing was massive. And like
- 40:28Speaker 1: Scott Air Force Base is like, I don't know, hour
- 40:31Speaker 1: and a half, probably from the farm, like a drive,
- 40:35Speaker 1: you know.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Which is not that far by air.
- 40:38Speaker 3: No.
- 40:38Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And you would think, you
- 40:40Speaker 1: would think that they would have like, there'd been like
- 40:44Speaker 1: some kind of something coming to check it out or whatever,
- 40:46Speaker 1: you know, like it would, it should have shown up
- 40:47Speaker 1: on radar.
- 40:48Speaker 2: It's probably one of the years.
- 40:49Speaker 1: But they never did.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Just saying.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It might've been. It might've been. I don't know.
- 40:53Speaker 2: That's what we're finding, Bryce, is like, they're like, all
- 40:55Speaker 2: these companies are admitting now that like Northrop, Northrop, I
- 40:59Speaker 2: can't remember the full name, Northrop, I can't say their name,
- 41:04Speaker 2: Northrop Grumman or something like that. them and Lockheed Martin.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Lockheed is based near where I live in Georgia in Marietta.
- 41:16Speaker 2: They've admitted that they are actually the ones who are
- 41:19Speaker 2: responsible for the Tic Tacs and these TR3Bs, whatever those
- 41:22Speaker 2: triangular craft and stuff. All the things that we thought
- 41:26Speaker 2: were ETs, I had my suspicions all along that they
- 41:29Speaker 2: weren't all ETs. But they make those.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, they say something like, as far as, like,
- 41:37Speaker 1: the technology that we don't know about, we're, like, 200,
- 41:40Speaker 1: 300 years ahead or.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Something like that. I mean, I believe it.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Like, there was one person, this teacher I had in
- 41:47Speaker 1: high school, she said that she wished that she would have,
- 41:50Speaker 1: what was it, invest in Star Trek-type technology.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Because, like, cell phones became a thing and all that
- 41:58Speaker 3: kind of stuff, you know?
- 42:00Speaker 1: And, like, the original.
- 42:03Speaker 3: But.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I mean, you know, so like 2023, we had those
- 42:08Speaker 1: prints we found. And like I said, they were 18
- 42:11Speaker 1: inches by five and a half inches wide. And it
- 42:16Speaker 1: was just weird, you know, because it was like, wow.
- 42:18Speaker 1: So like we go into the woods and there was
- 42:21Speaker 1: like this small stick structure and But it was definitely
- 42:24Speaker 1: something placed with purpose. It wasn't just like, you know,
- 42:27Speaker 1: limbs that fell out during a storm or a high
- 42:29Speaker 1: wind or something like that or blew up against a tree.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Because these were like sticks, like the branches, well, they
- 42:37Speaker 1: weren't big sticks, you know what I mean? Like maybe
- 42:39Speaker 1: like knee, mid-thigh high, leaned up against a tree, but
- 42:42Speaker 1: they were like stripped down straight, you know? And it
- 42:47Speaker 1: was just, I don't know, it was weird. And, um,
- 42:50Speaker 1: that was pretty much it for that year. But then 2024,
- 42:53Speaker 1: I had my sighting. Whenever I was taking my grandpa,
- 42:56Speaker 1: he had dementia. By this point, grandma had already passed away. And, uh,
- 42:59Speaker 1: my dad, he called me and said, Hey, can you
- 43:01Speaker 1: bring pop out to the farm? I was like, yeah,
- 43:03Speaker 1: no problem. Took him out there, had my little man
- 43:06Speaker 1: with me. He was three at the time in his
- 43:07Speaker 1: car seat. And we just get into the farm, like
- 43:11Speaker 1: crossing the Creek and everything. And I'm only going like 20,
- 43:15Speaker 1: 25 miles an hour. And I catch movement out of
- 43:17Speaker 1: my right eye. I look over and this is when
- 43:20Speaker 1: I see this big jet black, possibly wet or maybe
- 43:25Speaker 1: just the way the sunlight was hitting it. Because this
- 43:27Speaker 1: was 315 in the afternoon. It was roughly two weeks
- 43:31Speaker 1: before Mother's Day in 2024. It was just like digging
- 43:36Speaker 1: into the hillside.
- 43:37Speaker 3: And that's what caught my attention was the arms.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Because it was like grabbing and thrashing back and turning
- 43:42Speaker 1: away from the road as it was thrashing back. So
- 43:43Speaker 1: I never saw the face. But like I said, I've
- 43:46Speaker 1: got three sightings. We'll get into the third one that
- 43:48Speaker 1: nobody's really heard about eventually. But it was just like,
- 43:53Speaker 1: what is that? You know, like I'm looking at it
- 43:55Speaker 1: because I'm not thinking Bigfoot at first. And I was
- 43:57Speaker 1: just like, that's too big to be a person. But
- 44:00Speaker 1: like still, I'm like, there's no way. There's no way.
- 44:02Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I'm like, I'm not.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Am I seeing Bigfoot? No way.
- 44:06Speaker 1: And like I had to call a few people and
- 44:08Speaker 1: talk to them, tell them what I saw to be like,
- 44:10Speaker 1: what do you think I saw? And they're like, dude,
- 44:12Speaker 1: I think you saw Bigfoot. And it's just like, OK,
- 44:15Speaker 1: all right. I'll admit, OK, I'm going to go with
- 44:17Speaker 1: that then, because it was just it was so big.
- 44:20Speaker 1: It was knelt down. And whenever I heard my car going,
- 44:22Speaker 1: it stood up and walked on in like further into
- 44:25Speaker 1: the field.
- 44:25Speaker 3: So it's backwards to me at the road.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Now, this thing was only like 65, 80 yards away
- 44:30Speaker 1: at the most. And I mean, it was just wild
- 44:34Speaker 1: to see. And, um, so like I dropped grandpa off,
- 44:38Speaker 1: told dad, I saw something big in the field and
- 44:41Speaker 1: he was just like, what? And I was like, nah,
- 44:42Speaker 1: like big dad. Like I gotta go. Hurry up. Got
- 44:44Speaker 1: back in the car. It was gone by then. Where
- 44:47Speaker 1: I think it went though, was this area that dad
- 44:49Speaker 1: and me, we've called it a two mile woods. We
- 44:52Speaker 1: don't own it, but, uh, it used to be in
- 44:55Speaker 1: the family through like some like distant cousins and all that.
- 44:58Speaker 3: But since then they sold out to the coal mine.
- 45:00Speaker 1: We never did because, uh, we've had the farm in
- 45:03Speaker 1: our family since the 1860s. So, I mean, we're not selling,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you know, um, but, uh, and everybody who did, well,
- 45:11Speaker 1: all their places are gone and all that land in
- 45:13Speaker 1: the last 20 years has just grown up. So it's
- 45:16Speaker 1: all woods, you know? And, uh, So, I mean, yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 1: so that's what I'm saying. Like, there's a lot of
- 45:22Speaker 1: stuff out there, but there's not a lot of people
- 45:24Speaker 1: out there. And, you know, it's pretty secluded for the
- 45:27Speaker 1: most part. But, you know, I mean, it's wild. So, like,
- 45:33Speaker 1: I go home, I tell my wife about what I saw.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And she was like, well, you're going back in the morning.
- 45:38Speaker 1: She's like, we're going to go back and we're going
- 45:39Speaker 1: to see if we can't, if you can't find where
- 45:42Speaker 1: it was and get some pictures or something. I was like,
- 45:45Speaker 1: all right, cool. I mean, she's been super, super supportive
- 45:47Speaker 1: of all this. And, like, you saw her in the
- 45:51Speaker 1: documentary and everything, the stuff she was talking about and
- 45:53Speaker 1: everything like that.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Yeah, she did a great job, by the way. I
- 45:57Speaker 2: enjoyed it.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Yeah, she was nervous, but she did great. I mean,
- 46:02Speaker 3: she had a good.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Time with it. And, you know, it's just weird because, like,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I just keep thinking back. And, like, I've been co-hosting
- 46:13Speaker 1: on a show on YouTube this month with Paranormal Paul.
- 46:17Speaker 1: It's called Paranormal Among Us. And we talked to this guy,
- 46:21Speaker 1: Matt Lankford. I don't know if you know who he
- 46:23Speaker 1: is or not.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I love that guy. Yeah. I love that. He's a
- 46:31Speaker 1: great guy. Yeah. He's a great guy.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Shout out to Matt Lankford.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 3: He's a good dude.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:38Speaker 1: But his sighting, there was so many similarities between, with
- 46:43Speaker 1: him describing his sighting, whenever he was driving the semi
- 46:46Speaker 1: going down the interstate. Yes. That lineup of mine, his
- 46:50Speaker 1: was bigger, but that was about the only difference. I mean,
- 46:54Speaker 1: like it was even the same color. It had that
- 46:57Speaker 1: shine to it, kind of like a horse's coat. And
- 46:59Speaker 1: you know, when the sunlight hits it, um, like there
- 47:02Speaker 1: was a lot of similarities there. And that was what's
- 47:04Speaker 1: cool is because like hearing him, hearing other people talk
- 47:08Speaker 1: about their sighting, especially if it's a roadside sighting, um,
- 47:13Speaker 1: And the similarities, you know, it just drives it home
- 47:16Speaker 1: more and more to me that that's what I saw.
- 47:18Speaker 1: And so I go back there the next day. It
- 47:23Speaker 1: had rained that night. Not too bad, but enough. And so,
- 47:27Speaker 1: you know, my wife just stayed in the car with
- 47:29Speaker 1: the kids and I walked out there into the field. Now,
- 47:32Speaker 1: the field, the coal company, like I said, the coal
- 47:35Speaker 1: mine bought everybody out because they were doing a long
- 47:37Speaker 1: wall underneath. So in that.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Field, it used to be flat until you got to
- 47:41Speaker 3: the hill from the creek.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And now it's kind of, there's dips and everything where
- 47:44Speaker 1: there's been some subsidence and where this thing was at
- 47:49Speaker 1: was in one of those dips. So I'm five foot 10.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I was standing over there. I find it took me
- 47:55Speaker 1: a while, but I found where it was at, took
- 47:57Speaker 1: pictures of the traction, measured them. They were 16 inches.
- 48:00Speaker 1: So this is different from the 18 inch tracks. I
- 48:03Speaker 1: didn't do the width though, but I found the hole.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I could still stick my hand in the hole and,
- 48:10Speaker 1: And I was trying to figure out what it was after, though,
- 48:12Speaker 1: because like it could have been maybe because of the rain.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Like maybe it washed out like little animal tracks or something.
- 48:20Speaker 1: And it just it's weird because I don't know what
- 48:26Speaker 1: it was after. You know, it's like I don't know
- 48:29Speaker 1: if it was after like a small burrowing animal, a snake.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Maybe maybe it knew there was some kind of a
- 48:37Speaker 3: rooting problem.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Plant there that it could grab and eat I don't
- 48:40Speaker 1: know because like I said it was on the leaner
- 48:43Speaker 1: side and with it being just turning May and all
- 48:46Speaker 1: that I don't know if they migrate to the area
- 48:48Speaker 1: or not I don't think they do it seemed like
- 48:51Speaker 1: paying attention this year it only seemed like January and
- 48:54Speaker 1: February we didn't really have a whole lot going on
- 48:57Speaker 1: out there but other.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Than that you know it's been activity Well, what kind.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Of crops do you guys have on your farm? I mean,
- 49:05Speaker 2: you got like vegetables, you got berries and things like that.
- 49:09Speaker 2: But I mean, I would think maybe they're attracted to
- 49:11Speaker 2: whatever's growing that season, I would think.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:15Speaker 3: Well, right now we got corn planted. The year before
- 49:19Speaker 3: we did.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Soybeans. And that's just like the farmland part. But, you know,
- 49:24Speaker 1: dad's got his big garden and everything out there. Back
- 49:28Speaker 1: when my grandma and grandpa used to live out there,
- 49:30Speaker 1: they always had a big garden. I mean, there's a
- 49:35Speaker 1: lot of stuff out there. uh, you've got all kinds
- 49:39Speaker 1: of game deer, uh, wild turkeys, you know, your smaller
- 49:43Speaker 1: animals and whatnot that your prey animals just, I mean, it's,
- 49:48Speaker 1: we've even got cougars out there.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Occasionally, occasionally, um, more so Bobcats, but my cousin Norman, um,
- 49:59Speaker 1: his trail cameras, uh, got a cougar on it before, but.
- 50:01Speaker 2: You asked me, was it like a mountain? Mountain lion?
- 50:05Speaker 1: It kind of looked like that, yeah. It wasn't black.
- 50:07Speaker 1: It was the tan color. But, like, if you take
- 50:11Speaker 1: it to, like, a fish and wildlife person, they're going
- 50:13Speaker 1: to say, well, no, that's got to be a cat.
- 50:15Speaker 3: We don't have those in Southern Illinois. And it's like,
- 50:18Speaker 3: but you'll see people.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Like, talking about, like, yeah, they saw them literally releasing
- 50:22Speaker 1: them to take care of the deer population.
- 50:25Speaker 3: And it's like, there's a lot.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Of deer still.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Really?
- 50:27Speaker 1: Yeah. So, yeah. Okay.
- 50:31Speaker 2: This is for entertainment purposes only. This is a, this
- 50:35Speaker 2: is just all hearsay.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Okay.
- 50:36Speaker 2: But yeah, there's, there is a kind of a little
- 50:39Speaker 2: active coverup of some of these big cats and stuff.
- 50:41Speaker 2: And I think some of the big cats might be
- 50:43Speaker 2: responsible for some of these suspected dogman attacks and stuff
- 50:47Speaker 2: and people getting attacked, things jumping down from trees and
- 50:52Speaker 2: people going, I don't, I don't know about people going
- 50:54Speaker 2: missing being taken by cats and stuff. I don't know
- 50:56Speaker 2: about that, but I think some of these, I think
- 50:59Speaker 2: people are getting, would get attacked by cats and it
- 51:02Speaker 2: could be misconstrued as like a dogman attack. Yeah. Or
- 51:06Speaker 2: mislabeled or whatever you want to call it.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. So, so, you know, the weird thing about
- 51:14Speaker 1: when we went back that next day, like I said,
- 51:17Speaker 1: I was five, 10, I was standing there. Then I
- 51:20Speaker 1: knelt down to get a little bit closer up pictures,
- 51:22Speaker 1: trying to get a little more clear.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Cause it was kind of hard. Like you can make
- 51:25Speaker 3: out the one print for sure.
- 51:27Speaker 1: And the hole and what possibly could have been where
- 51:30Speaker 1: its knee was embedded down a little bit. But it
- 51:34Speaker 1: was what Amber said from the road. She said, well,
- 51:38Speaker 1: I was standing there. She could barely see me, like
- 51:41Speaker 1: basically like upper body. She could see. And then when
- 51:44Speaker 1: I knelt down, she lost sight of me completely. Now,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I saw this thing. It was knelt down first before
- 51:50Speaker 1: it ever stood up. That's why I'm saying has to
- 51:52Speaker 1: be around the eight foot mark. because just how big
- 51:56Speaker 1: this thing was even from that distance. So, I mean, that's,
- 52:01Speaker 1: that's why I say it's, it had to have been
- 52:02Speaker 1: around eight feet that, and I found a tree break
- 52:05Speaker 1: whenever I turned around.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Cause I'm like, okay, if it's right here, it had
- 52:07Speaker 3: to have.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Come from the Creek and I'm looking and you can
- 52:09Speaker 1: kind of still make out like where it looked like
- 52:12Speaker 1: some tracks were coming from the Creek. So I went
- 52:15Speaker 1: back there when I was hoping to find and get
- 52:17Speaker 1: a picture of was like where it stepped on, like,
- 52:19Speaker 1: you know, the mud or whatever of the pond or
- 52:22Speaker 1: the Creek bank. and got a good impression. You know
- 52:25Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 52:26Speaker 3: But that was all overgrown right there.
- 52:27Speaker 1: You couldn't see anything. So I'm looking around and I
- 52:30Speaker 1: see this tree branch that's broke down. It was like
- 52:33Speaker 1: 10 feet up in the air. And the reason I
- 52:34Speaker 1: know that I used to work at home Depot. So
- 52:36Speaker 1: I know what 10 foot board, I know what that is,
- 52:38Speaker 1: you know, and it wasn't just snapped down. It was
- 52:41Speaker 1: also twisted around a couple of times. So that tells
- 52:43Speaker 1: me intention and something with a thumb hand strength, all that. Um, so, um,
- 52:51Speaker 1: I get a hold of my buddy Joe, and I'm
- 52:53Speaker 1: talking to him, and I'm like, hey, man, so this happened.
- 52:58Speaker 1: And Joe, I knew he was making Bigfoot investigation videos,
- 53:03Speaker 1: and he made a Big Muddy Monster documentary before. He
- 53:09Speaker 1: did a UFO documentary for the area. I knew he
- 53:13Speaker 1: was into this stuff and I knew he had all
- 53:14Speaker 1: the cool gadgets to go squatching with because I hadn't
- 53:17Speaker 1: gotten none of that. I was like, yeah, man, come
- 53:21Speaker 1: on out. It took until 2025 for our schedules to
- 53:25Speaker 1: line up. He came out and we shot an interview,
- 53:31Speaker 1: an investigation documentary. It was just a one-hour documentary thing.
- 53:35Speaker 1: The new one's an hour, but completely differently done. Um, just,
- 53:39Speaker 1: this was just a YouTube video, um, out there. And, um,
- 53:43Speaker 1: it got like first month that had like 12,000 views
- 53:47Speaker 1: or something like that. So he's like, let's go ahead
- 53:49Speaker 1: and make a full flesh documentary. And, um, and that one,
- 53:53Speaker 1: I mean, I honestly didn't think anybody would watch the
- 53:56Speaker 1: first one. I mean, I was like, we'll be lucky
- 53:58Speaker 1: if we get 500 and I'm.
- 54:00Speaker 3: Just like, and I don't care, but like, you know, whenever,
- 54:02Speaker 3: like the first day.
- 54:03Speaker 1: It was like a thousand, I was like, what the hell?
- 54:06Speaker 1: So that was pretty cool. And then it got up
- 54:08Speaker 1: to that. And then like, I don't know where the
- 54:10Speaker 1: documentary is at now, like the new one, but last
- 54:13Speaker 1: time I looked, it was in like the, I think
- 54:15Speaker 1: 20 something thousands, but it's just cool because it's like
- 54:19Speaker 1: people are watching, you know, and the word's getting out.
- 54:23Speaker 2: So it's, it's 58,000 right now.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 54:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 2: The new one is.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Just look, I just had it pulled up.
- 54:32Speaker 1: It says 58,000.
- 54:33Speaker 2: 58 K. So congratulations. You know what? That's one thing
- 54:37Speaker 2: that I've learned is like a lot of people just
- 54:40Speaker 2: want to hear real life encounters and from an authentic,
- 54:44Speaker 2: you know, first eyewitness, like an eyewitness point of view. And,
- 54:49Speaker 2: and that's really what people are looking for because they
- 54:51Speaker 2: want to, you know, a lot of people have these
- 54:53Speaker 2: encounters and stuff. They want to hear other stories that
- 54:57Speaker 2: are kind of like theirs. Like they're looking for answers
- 55:01Speaker 2: and stuff. And so that documentary is actually perfect for that.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Because I think there's a lot of people, you know,
- 55:06Speaker 2: I get contacted by people occasionally who have encounters kind
- 55:10Speaker 2: of like you had on your farm. And, and I just,
- 55:13Speaker 2: like I said earlier, I was like, I recently went
- 55:15Speaker 2: to an investigation right down the road from where I
- 55:17Speaker 2: live and it was on a farm. And that woman,
- 55:21Speaker 2: she was actually telling me stuff like she didn't, she
- 55:23Speaker 2: doesn't know anything about dog men at all, but she was,
- 55:26Speaker 2: the things that she was describing to me before I
- 55:28Speaker 2: went out to investigate her property, it was rough. 100
- 55:32Speaker 2: dogman activity and stuff and she was even talking about
- 55:35Speaker 2: how they she was she doesn't know that she never
- 55:37Speaker 2: even heard it like i said never heard dogman she
- 55:39Speaker 2: was talking about how at night she'll go outside and
- 55:41Speaker 2: they're up in the trees like she was like they
- 55:44Speaker 2: sit in the trees right here at night and stuff
- 55:47Speaker 2: and i was like man that's like what dogmen do
- 55:50Speaker 2: you know um so so uh it's just the stuff
- 55:54Speaker 2: is getting more common these days is what i'm it
- 55:57Speaker 2: also is another thing is that it yeah i And
- 56:01Speaker 2: it's more, I don't want to say like, dare I
- 56:03Speaker 2: say accepted or like people are just talking about it
- 56:07Speaker 2: more now, I guess, or maybe just the signings have
- 56:10Speaker 2: just gone up for whatever reason.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, you know, one of those things I
- 56:17Speaker 1: kind of, I don't know, it's always stuck out in
- 56:20Speaker 1: my mind and I'm not trying to get biblical on
- 56:23Speaker 1: anybody or anything. So I don't want to push none
- 56:25Speaker 1: of that on anybody, but in the Bible, it does say,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you know, towards the last days or whatever, like something
- 56:33Speaker 1: about like the beasts will rise and all that kind
- 56:35Speaker 1: of stuff. I mean, maybe it's mentioning cryptids there. I
- 56:39Speaker 1: don't know. Uh, because it does seem like, yeah, because
- 56:43Speaker 1: it does seem like, you know, there's been a big
- 56:47Speaker 1: influx in like what the last 10 years of just
- 56:52Speaker 1: sightings and everything, uh, maybe even more so the last
- 56:55Speaker 1: five years. It's crazy. Um, Yeah. So, you know, I
- 57:01Speaker 1: don't know.
- 57:03Speaker 3: There's been sightings in other areas out around the farm.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Whenever I did the conference last Saturday, the Southern Illinois
- 57:10Speaker 1: Bigfoot Conference, this lady came up to me.
- 57:12Speaker 3: She knew right where the farm was and kind of
- 57:14Speaker 3: caught me off guard.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I was like, well, what? But she told me where
- 57:18Speaker 1: she lived and I was like, oh, you're right next
- 57:21Speaker 1: to it. OK. And now I say right next to it.
- 57:25Speaker 1: The road is right next to it. But her house
- 57:27Speaker 1: is like. mile or two down the road from there.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So she's not like close, close, but close enough. And
- 57:32Speaker 1: she knew my dad. So it was kind of a
- 57:34Speaker 1: good boy, but, um, it was weird. You know what
- 57:38Speaker 1: I mean? She said that, you know, she goes, you know,
- 57:41Speaker 1: she was like, I'm really glad that, you know, and
- 57:43Speaker 1: I appreciate you talking about this, which is weird. A
- 57:45Speaker 1: lot of people came up to me after I spoke,
- 57:47Speaker 1: like telling me, thank you for talking about this and
- 57:50Speaker 1: the Southern, you know, being here in Southern Illinois and everything.
- 57:52Speaker 1: It's like bringing it home, you know? Um, And she
- 57:57Speaker 1: said that, like, you know, she goes, I don't know.
- 57:59Speaker 1: She's like, but I have noticed at night here in
- 58:02Speaker 1: like tree knocks. She was like, I never really thought
- 58:06Speaker 1: she's like, I thought it was a woodpecker. And I'm like, well,
- 58:08Speaker 1: it sounds like a woodpecker. She's like, no, it's always
- 58:10Speaker 1: just like one solid knock or maybe a couple. It
- 58:12Speaker 1: wasn't like the repeated fast pattern. And I'm like, well, OK.
- 58:16Speaker 1: And then, you know, she said, too, that like. she
- 58:19Speaker 1: would take her dog out at night and sometimes the
- 58:22Speaker 1: dog would be whimpering the whole time and like hurrying
- 58:25Speaker 1: up and doing his business, you know, and then getting
- 58:26Speaker 1: ready to go right back in the house. So, you know,
- 58:29Speaker 1: could it be Bigfoot out there? Could it be the
- 58:32Speaker 1: dog man out there? Um, there's a, another area that's
- 58:36Speaker 1: only as the crow flies from the farm, about three
- 58:39Speaker 1: miles and where it's at, there was this, uh, high
- 58:43Speaker 1: school kid. I saw, I posted on this, uh, town
- 58:46Speaker 1: over from where I live. Um, on their This Town
- 58:51Speaker 1: Talk Facebook page. Of course, he got laughed at by everybody,
- 58:56Speaker 1: but he had a sighting of one. The one he saw,
- 59:00Speaker 1: the way he described it, it sounded a lot like
- 59:02Speaker 1: the one I saw. He's like, it didn't have a
- 59:04Speaker 1: dog head or anything, but he said it was more
- 59:08Speaker 1: of a slender build. And, you know, this is all, like,
- 59:14Speaker 1: right before I had my first sighting. So, like, maybe
- 59:18Speaker 1: a couple weeks before I had my first sighting, because
- 59:21Speaker 1: I reached out to him. And I was just like, hey, man,
- 59:23Speaker 1: I'm like, do you care to, like, tell me where?
- 59:27Speaker 1: And he told me and I was like, man, I
- 59:28Speaker 1: looked it up on Google Maps and I was like, crap,
- 59:30Speaker 1: that's not far at all from the farm. And then,
- 59:32Speaker 1: like I said, you know, a couple weeks go by
- 59:34Speaker 1: and I have that sighting. But it was just weird
- 59:37Speaker 1: because it's like, OK. Interesting.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Farn Creek goes through that area, too.
- 59:43Speaker 1: You know, so. Yep. So that creek eventually leads and
- 59:49Speaker 1: empties into another creek that leads to the Big Muddy River.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Like somehow you got to follow it, the waterways and
- 59:56Speaker 1: all that, but eventually it goes to the big muddy river. And,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: but now, you know, it's just, there's a lot of
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: weird stuff out there. And I think part of it's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: because it's been so quiet the last 20 years. You
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: don't have near the people out there anymore. You don't
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: have near the farm activity going on. And, you know,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: like with our farm, It's been in our family so long.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I think that they're just used to us being there,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you know, and like stuff like that. Like they know
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: what the people are doing there.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: One thing I've done whenever I go out and do research.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: And whatnot, I'll do. I heard it on a podcast.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I can't remember which one, but it was a Native
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: American talking. And he was like, you know, if you
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: want them there, when you go out, you know, they're there.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Go out, read them.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Call them force brothers and sisters, welcome.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Them, tell them your name, you know, tell them that,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you know, like, like it's okay for you guys to
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: be here.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I come in peace, all that.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Um, I don't even go out armed, which a lot
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: of people think is stupid. And I mean, Hey, I
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: kind of think it's dumb too, because you know, what
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: if I see a snake or something like that, you know,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: You know, and you guys did get us, you did
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: get a snake in that documentary eating a fish. That
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: was a copperhead. Was that a copperhead?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I knew it. Oh, we got them all over out there.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Oh my God. We got them all over out there.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: There's a couple of different poisonous snakes out there.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I hate snakes.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with snakes right now.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: I can't tell them apart.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Well, I can tell them mostly apart, but like, I've
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: been obsessed with snakes this past season for whatever reason. And, uh,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: and I just went hiking. Was that yesterday? Day before yesterday?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: I guess it was.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it was yesterday. I think I went hiking and, um,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: It was, first of all, my dog about had a
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: heat stroke. It was really hot. But I was thinking, like, man,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I've been watching so many videos about snakes lately. I
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: am bound to run into a snake on this hike today.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I was like, damn it. Damn it, Jessica. Why do
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: you do snake videos? But I didn't run into any snakes.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: But the snakes are really bad right now, Bryce. Just
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: so you know.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they are.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: They're out in full force right now. Yeah, so be careful.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, definitely. I always got my big rubber boots
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: that come up to my knees, so. yeah hopefully that'll
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: protect me but uh maybe yeah maybe um i'm more
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: worried about one like dropping down and getting me like
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: in a freaking.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Jungle movie or something like that you know don't.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Even put that out there don't even put that out
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: there i don't even think about that that's crazy and
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: they're out at night too by the way they're out
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: at night Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Well, in the documentary, that was at night where he
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: caught that fish. I've never seen a snake catch a
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: fish before. And like you could hear Jason in it.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: He's just like, now I've seen everything. Oh my God.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: I thought it was, I thought it was wild that
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: you guys caught that. And the snake, I mean, it was,
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: it was brutal. It was pretty brutal. So you guys
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: are going to have to watch the documentary.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of good stuff in
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: there and there's some stuff that'll make you laugh.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Cause I mean, I'm a goofy guy. So, and I'm,
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: and I'm, you know, I'm.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Me the whole time. I'm not trying to play to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the camera or nothing.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: I'm just, I'm me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: And like, uh, Hey, William, what's up brother? Nighthawk. But, um, Yeah,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you know, it's working, though, that Native American greeting to them.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: And I always do it every time. I'm like, hey,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you know, hey, Forrest Brothers and Sisters, this is Bryce,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: just saying hey, you know, letting you guys know you're
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: still welcome here. You know, telling them, like, hey, I'm
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: going to be out, you know, looking around if you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: guys want to make contact or give me a sign
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: of your presence or something. Always something happens.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: I'll either hear a knock, I'll hear a whoop, find some.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Prints, you know, something. Like, there's only been one time
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: that I could really say something that I got skunked.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: And even then we still heard a knock. And I think,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I don't know for sure. And this was for a
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: video that we shot for this, uh, kind of like
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: a YouTube mini series Joe's doing called wood devils of
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Southern Illinois. Uh, the first episode of that one's me.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: And we were over in the bluff area. I was
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: telling you about my brother had his encounter thing. And, um,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: once we got out of the bluff, which being a
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: dad in the bluff, uh, That's really the only time
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I've been nervous out there, like, squatching, because we were
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: literally in a perfect ambush spot. Because we're down, there's, like,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: this bluff's, like, 20 feet above us, you know. We're
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: down here in the creek bottom, walking around, looking for prints.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: We found some prints, but they were old. Other things
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: had kind of walked through them, too, you know, like deer, raccoon,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: things like that. So it was like, you know, you're
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: looking at it, and it's like, well, I see something.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: And it looks big. But I can't really say it's
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: one thing or the other, you know, because of all
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the other stuff. We also found some really weird prints
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: in there. Could be a dog man.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Could have been a cougar.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't know. But they were washed out, of course,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: you know, but you can still make them out. They
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: were kind of, like, circular. But, I mean, you could
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: put a softball in that and still have, like, the
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: circle was still going around it.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: You know, like, it was big. So, whatever that was,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: But... Like, yeah. So like we get out of that and,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: you know, Joe's like, Bryce, hurry up, get over here.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Cause I had the parabolic. He goes, hurry up and
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: get over here. I think I heard, or he's, I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: heard something moving through the woods over here. And it
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: was like this like little, like small, just like outlet
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: of woods coming out of like that bluff area. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: then you had another field and then he had a
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: tree line over that way, um, across that field and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: that tree line, that's a property line also. Um, I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: don't cross property lines. Like my farm, 642 acres. I've
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: got plenty of area to look around. I don't need
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to be crossing on somebody else's property. If I ever
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: do it unknowingly, you know, I apologize, but so far
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: nobody's contacted me saying I did. So I'm pretty sure
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I'm staying on the farm.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: You better get out of there.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Well, I mean, we are 911 out there, so I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: don't feel like getting shot because I'll shoot back.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Most people don't call 911 down here in
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: the South. I'm just saying.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Um, but like, so like I had this, um,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you know, spotlight kind of deal and I'm shining over there.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Cause I, I, I saw at first what I thought
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: was an orb.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But I noticed like it was going behind the tree
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and then coming back out. And I'm like, wait a minute,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: something's playing peekaboo. But like, it was just like the
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: light would just get to the tree line, but not
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: penetrate the tree line. But we're also, gosh, I would
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: have to say a couple hundred yards away. you know,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: from where that tree line is. So, and I'm guessing
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: it could have been shorter, but like, it just looked
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: like something was playing peekaboo. And I kept telling Joe,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I was like, man, I was like, I think something's
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: over there. I'm like, but I can't really tell, you know?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: And I mean, in all this grass and everything, we
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: were up to our chest in grass, you know, because
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: it's all just overgrown right there because it's in that
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: set-aside program over there on that end of the farm.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: And so, yeah, We just was like, well, you know,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: we aren't hearing anything. Yeah, that's weird, but whatever. And
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I mean, we had a kind of a big group
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: with us because my dad was there.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: My uncle was there. Then my uncle invited some of
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: his friends out.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: So it was like, you've got us three, me, Jason
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: and Joe trying to do research here. And you've got
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: everybody else making back, you know, making noise in the
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: background laughing. It's kind of like a party, you know?
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: So it's just like, crap. But yeah, You know, so
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: that's going on. So we're just kind of like, well, maybe,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: I don't know. But whenever he put that episode out
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: in the comments, I was reading them. Somebody saw what
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I saw. It looked like something was playing peekaboo over there.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: So it was kind of like, all right, good. Somebody
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: else saw that, you know? So it makes me feel
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: better and not think I'm crazy or just like every,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: you know, like, it's really easy to suddenly think everything's
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Bigfoot out there. You know what I mean? But you
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: got to have a mind of, I've got to try
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and debunk this first. I've got to try and, you know,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: what could this be before we ever even begin to think, okay,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: could it be Bigfoot or whatever, you know? Right.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: No, you always got to debunk it, Bryce. That's great.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I like the way you're thinking with that. Yeah. Because
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: that's one of the first things that I learned when
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: I first I inadvertently got on a Bigfoot research team.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: I didn't mean to. Okay. But it just happened. And,
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: and that was, that was one of the first things
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: they taught me. They're like, everything is not Bigfoot out here.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Everything is not a cryptid. There's a lot of explanations
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: for things. And even like some of the sounds and
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: the screams and all that kind of stuff, like a woman,
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: what you think is like a woman screaming in the woods.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: That's a lot of times that's a cat, you know,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: or something. I mean, they, they sound like humans. I,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: I actually was like reposting some like cougar mountain lion
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: yells and stuff this week on my social media. Cause
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I was like, people need to hear this. It sounds
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: like a woman in distress, you know? and that kind
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: of stuff so and.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I heard that out there me and Amber heard that
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: out there on her birthday but really here's how we
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: know it wasn't a cougar yeah so it was her
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: birthday November 23rd this last year and she wanted to
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: go it was a Sunday she wanted to go out
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: there and have a bonfire.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: That was my brother's birthday, November 23rd. Yes, my brother.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: He passed away 20 years ago. Yeah. So that's wild.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: It's okay. That's wonderful. They have the same birthday. That's
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: how I know she's a good person.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty cool. Yeah. Right.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: She is.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Love that. Love that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Yeah. It was really foggy that day. Like some of
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: the worst fog I've ever seen. Right. I know, you know,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: there's something. Oh, yeah. Foggy.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: And you heard Bigfoot.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Like, oh, yeah.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Foggy and I heard Bigfoot.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: But this was creepy, kind of, because of the fog
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: more so than anything. But, like, if you remember from
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: the last time I was on, whenever Dad would have
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: fires going and stuff like that at night, he would
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: always have, like, encounters. Like, he would get whistled at,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: stuff kind of thrown over by him, hear tree.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Breaks, you know, mimic of owls.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: That was whenever he heard that train whistle mimic.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: You know, things like that.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: So we get there and like in Southern Illinois in
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: the winter, it gets dark at five o'clock. So we
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: got there about four 30 and, uh, dad already had
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: the fire going. So we were sitting there, he was
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: talking with us for a little while. And then he
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: went into the house, I guess go eat dinner or
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: something like that. So me and Amber are just sitting
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: out there and we're just watching the fire talk and
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: just enjoying the night. All of a sudden from over
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: my left shoulder, uh, But it sounded way back. And
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: this was powerful. We just heard, like you described, sounded
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: like a woman screaming bloody murder, like she was being
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: murdered or something.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: You know, I mean, it was insane.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: And but it went for like a solid 10 seconds.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: And the power in this, it was just like you
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: could feel it, you know. And Amber's like, you know,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: immediately like, oh, my God, what was that? I'm like,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: what do you think? And this is where it gets
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: weird because shortly after that, I don't know how long,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: within like a minute, there was a return whoop from
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: over on that side of the road because the fire
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: pit's on the other side of the road by where
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: the pole barn is and all that stuff. And we
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: heard it. And I was on another podcast and Bo
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Kennedy was the host. I don't know if you know
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: him or not.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Good guy.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: But he, whenever I described the return call, the return whoop,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: he said it sounded almost like a Bigfoot yes deer.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Because it was like, it did.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: It just sounds just like whoop.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: You know what I mean? And I know that sounds ridiculous,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: but that is the only way to describe what we heard.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: He sounds annoyed.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: I mean, really.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: He's sick of it.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: He's sick of everything.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Whatever she did, she wasn't doing something he wanted her
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: to or something.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. And so this is happening. And right as
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: this is happening, one of her friends pulls up because
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: we invited a bunch of people to come out and
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: celebrate Amber's birthday. But with it being on a Sunday,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you know, only her one friend, but it was her
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: oldest friend. So that worked out. She got there. And
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: we're like, hey, in case we're acting really weird, this
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: all just happened. And this girl's like, OK, she doesn't believe.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: So it's like, you know, whatever. And yeah, Ricky Ricardo. But,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: you know, so she's sitting there talking with Amber.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Amber's calmed down at this point.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, cool.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: But I want to alert because I'm like, what the hell?
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You know, I'm like, I've got something screaming over here
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: that I've got this thing whooping over here. It's better.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: So from the fire pit.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: To the wood line, you've got about 20 yards of just,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: you know, just field, but it's just like grass. You
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: know what I mean? It's like we don't plant right there.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: We just mow it. And then you've got the tree line.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: So to my left, I'm hearing bipedal footsteps coming through
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: the woods towards the tree line, center and the right.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: So there's three sets.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Plus we heard the one over there. I'm thinking there's
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: four of them out there on the farm. Because of
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: this experience? Because I'm assuming the one that I heard
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: do the return was probably the one coming up on
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: the right. Because it would have just crossed the road
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: and then came up in the woods. It's not like
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: it's just going to walk up the road. I wouldn't
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: think it was. So I'm like, okay. And what made
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: it so creepy was the fog. Because I'm like, I
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: can't see. I can see the fire, the glow, and
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: that's it. And whatever's out there looking my way could
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: probably see me standing there.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Because the fire's standing right by the fire. And it
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: just got really creepy feeling, right? And I, I mean,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Amber heard the footsteps because I asked her afterwards. I
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: didn't want to ask her whenever her friend was sitting there.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: But I asked her, she was like, yeah, I heard it.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: She was like, I just kept talking with Natalie and,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: you know, just uh trying to ignore it.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: Trying to ignore it yeah yeah and uh so i'm
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: just sitting there and i mean i'm looking around but
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: like nothing well at least that i know of nothing
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: came out of the woods and.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Nothing got thrown at us but you just you knew
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: you were being watched you know and um dad he
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: came out saying oh uncle danny called he had shot
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: a deer he lost it so i gotta go look
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: for it And I'm like, well, where are you going?
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: He pointed in that direction of where we heard that scream.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, dad, you might want to like, you know,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: pack some heat or something, you know, like extra flashlights, whatever,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: because we just heard this over there.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: And he was just like, oh, you heard that too?
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: I'm like, you heard it tonight? He goes, I didn't
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: hear it tonight.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: He's like, I was in the house.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: He's like, but I've heard that before.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: And he's like over there, kind of behind our old house.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: We used to live in a pole barn house. And
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, it seemed like it came back
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: from over in that general area. And he was like, yeah,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: that's where I got to go. And I was like, oh, great. So,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: you know, so he grabbed his John Wayne gun, he
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: calls it. And he had that on him. And then
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: he had a machete and he had his flashlights. And well,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: one's a spotlight and it's flashlight. But he was going
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: to look for this deer. And so I'm like, well,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, I'm like, well, you got your phone.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I'm like, call me if anything happens and I'll I'll
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: head that way.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: You know, I'm like, what am I going to do?
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I got nothing. Whatever. I'm going to go that way.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: And so he encountered something over there, but he called
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: it the warbler.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: And if you remember from the last time I was on.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Yeah. I had the first time I did the Native
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: American greeting and all that, and I asked for a sign,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I heard this weird sound coming from the creek area.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: And it sounded like, like the way I describe it
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: is if like your voice sounded like a belly growl,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: like that was your voice and you were mumbling.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: So it's kind of like, but me and dad were
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: describing the same thing. We just didn't know it at
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: the time.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Because whenever I did it, you know, whenever I was
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: doing the interview for Joe's documentary, for the new documentary.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: He was listening to me do it.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: He goes, that's the warbler.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: And I go, wait a minute, that's what you were
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: talking about? So we've heard the same one.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: But he said he heard it over in that direction.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: So was it that one I heard scream? I don't know. But,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: you know, it was weird because he said he heard
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: it and he's like, he found the deer. And then
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I guess it was wounded but not dead. And it
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: got up and ran off. And he never did find
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: out where it went because it just took off. And
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: he was just like, the.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: Hell with this because he heard the warbler. You know,
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: he was like, I'm going back to the house.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: The warbler probably got the deer, I bet.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: I mean, it wouldn't surprise me. It really wouldn't surprise me.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: That's wild. You know, your dad, not only his experiences,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: he's given them nicknames.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: That is crazy. I love that. Like your dad, he's
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: just like, I didn't tell you this, but I mean,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: I already have nicknames for these things. And, uh, does
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: that make you feel better or, or, or does it
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: weird you out that your dad has been experienced that too?
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: He's experienced all that.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: It's if anybody was going to experience anything out there
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: besides me having my sightings and the stuff and looking
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: for it, it'd be him because he's been out there,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you know? Um, And, I mean, so every day, because, like,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you know, Dad, he was disabled back in the late
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: 90s from a back injury he suffered whenever he was
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a deckhand on the barge lines. So he's been disabled
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: since then. Like, he was my age whenever he got hurt. So,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I mean, now he's late 60s. So, I mean, you know,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: he's been out there. And just now that he knows
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: the sounds and everything to pay attention for, he's realizing
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: what he's been hearing this whole time.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: So does it weird me out? No, not really.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: It makes me feel better, actually, because it's like I'm
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: not the only one out there experiencing things.
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: Seeing things he is too so it's like okay it's
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: not just like oh yeah what bryce see today you
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: know what i mean it's like dad's like hey guess
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: what i heard you know or or when he had
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: that dogman sighting so you know it's it's weird, but it's,
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: it's so far it's been positive.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: We haven't been attacked or anything like that. We haven't, um,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the dogs haven't been attacked. I did find out though.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Cause I remember the last time I was on, you
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: asked me about like back when we used to have
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: cattle and everything, if we ever had any cattle go missing.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: And I said, no, at the times I didn't think
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: we did. But whenever we were filming that wood devils episode,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: my uncle Danny was saying that we had that not
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: very often, but, You just have a cow. It could
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: be a full size cow or a calf just disappear.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: It was like no way to tell how it got
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: out because there was like no broken fence, no open gate,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: nothing like that. And there was no trace of it.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: It was just like it was there one minute and gone.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: You know, may that be UFO activity doing that? But
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: it's weird because it's like. You know, the farm, it
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: sits on the 37th parallel. There's some kind of to
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: do about the 37th parallel. I don't know what it is.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I think it might be where the pyramids in Egypt
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: are or something like that. But that might have been 33rd.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: But I remember Joe kept talking about that a lot.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: So that's why I pay attention to it. But, you know,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: it's just a weird area.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: And.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Like thinking back on things from like childhood, you know,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: out there, it's like, these things have been there. And
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: grandma having her sighting back in 1963, you know, it's
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: just like, that's the oldest sighting I have.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: If I would have known about this stuff.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Being there, I would have asked my great grandma back
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: when she was alive, because she was alive until I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: was like 21 or 22. And, you know, she'd lived
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: out there pretty much her whole life.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: So, I mean, she could have told me all kinds
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: of stuff. But, granny was.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Also the type of person they probably would have just
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: not told me you know what i mean be like
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: oh those don't exist or whatever you know i mean
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you never know maybe but she was tight-lipped you know
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: she was an old school.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: Teacher is she the one that's.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Called okay so your grandma's the one who saw the
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: honey bear right yeah that's your grandma yeah okay yeah.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: She called it a honey bear and i found out
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: later that was a term by old-timers used for bigfoot
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: so i was like oh okay and um And like,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: whenever I was talking to Martin Groves, telling him about that,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I said, honey bear. He was like, yep, honey bear.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: That's, that's one of the, one of the terms for me.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: He's like, that's an old folks term. And I was like,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah. I was like, grandma was like 83 or 84,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: wherever she passed away. So, and then my great grandma,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: she was 99. But like I said, I never got
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: to talk to her about it. Cause I just never,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you know, wasn't into it really back then. Didn't really
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: think much about it, especially being there on the farm. And, um, yes.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: I never heard. I never heard about. Bigfoot's being called
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: honey bears before until you told us that. And now
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: I've heard it a couple of times. I've heard it
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: more than just your grandmother calling that now.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I've heard it on a couple of podcasts and
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: it was like old timers talking. And then one guy
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: was like probably in his fifties talking about it and
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: he called him a honey bear.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: But, you know, I mean, it's just a weird area.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Cause like, I mean, UFO sightings, cryptids, ghosts and the
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: ghosts is family because it's in dad's house. It used
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: to be my, uh, my grandma's house. So, I mean,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: but it's like her, my, my great uncle and my
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: great grandpa are there.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: Um, and you know, it's, it's weird.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: It's kind of, kind of creepy.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: I can appreciate that. At least it's familiar basically.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, like, yeah, but don't open a beer
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: in the house.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Cause I did that. And the picture that was on
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: the wall that hadn't been.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Off the wall ever. Fell into the middle of the
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: living room floor. And it wasn't like it fell down,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: hit the couch and bounce. It just came off the
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: wall right there. Right after I cracked it open, like
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: first one, I'm like, I'll take it outside. You know,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I'm like, what the hell?
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: Cause granny didn't allow drinking in her house.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: She was pro prohibition, right? She was like, yeah.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: One of the funny things was my great-grandpa and his
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: brother used to run Moonshine.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: So, I mean, you know, his brother.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Would make it and then he would go and collect
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: it and drop off and all that stuff and get
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: the money and whatnot. But, you know, times were different
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: back then. Yeah, they were. No, like, so this third
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: sighting I've had, It was weird. It wasn't on the farm.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I do a radio show. Right now I'm off the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: air because football season is going on. The station on
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: my time slot on Friday nights covers Murfreesboro High School football.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: And then they'll have a month off and then they'll
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: do basketball.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: So I'm only on the radio like six months out
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: of the year, usually spring and summer.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: But this was my next to last show. So it
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: would have been early August.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: And I'm going home.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: It's after lunch. But after 11, I went and watched
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: a band play in town first. And then there's me
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and one other car. And we're both heading towards DeSoto.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: And so we're on Highway 51 and it's pitch black
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: out there. Like I said, it's just me and this
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: one other car travel in the same direction. And I'm
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: about four or five car lengths behind it. And they
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: got their brights on. All of a sudden, they slam
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: on their brakes. So I hit my brakes. And I'm
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: looking in their headlights and stuff. I'm trying to see
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: if it's like a deer or something. And what I
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: see is something humongous in front of their car and
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: then bound from in front of their car to the
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: side of the road and gone. And I just got
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: a side profile. This thing was way bigger than what
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I saw on the farm. And I mean, it was
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: it was brown hair, very muscular, very like incredible whole muscular,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: you know, and it just poof gone. Well, those people
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: in front of me gunned it after that. I mean,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: they were gone, you know, like they took off. They
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: had been going like 90 miles an hour. And me,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: I'm like, look, and I'm like, whoa, you know, because
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: like where it was going, you would go over a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: train track and then you're back into woods. And there
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: was a small creek running through there, too. Now, where
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: that area is, Murfreesboro is only like five miles west
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: of there, and that's where the Big Money Monster sightings were.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: And there's Bigfoot sightings all in that area still to
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: this day. Whenever I was on a podcast, I don't
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: remember which one it was, but a couple of people
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: local to that area reached out to me talking about
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: sightings that either they or their family had had within
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: the last five years. And was asking me, do I
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: think it's the big money monster? You know, I'm like, well,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: what color was it? And they say brown, black. Well,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: the big money monster was kind of a white or
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: very light tan. I'm like, I don't think it's that one.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: But I'm like, it could be in the same family
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: of the one that was that was seen back in
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the 70s. You never know. But then I saw that
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: and I'm like, holy crap. So, you know, so I've
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: had three sightings now. And I feel confident saying that
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: what ran in front of their car was a Bigfoot.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: But why did it run in front of the car
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: whenever there was only two cars going? It had to
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: have seen us going down the road. So I don't
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: know why it did that. I mean, they didn't stop
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: like they saw a deer. You know, I mean, they
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: stopped because this thing was coming across. So I don't know.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Well, usually they want you to if they slow down
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: enough for you to see them, they want you to
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: see them a lot of times. That's what I think.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: It's so, it's so rare to get a sighting like that.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: That's pretty cool actually.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: Yeah. And I, I mean, I've only talked about that
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: one like a couple of times, you know what I mean?
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: Because it's like, you know.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: Like why, why did I see that? You know what
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I mean? It's like now it's three times, like what's
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: going on? Like it's not even on the farm, you know?
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: So it's, it's weird. Definitely have found evidence, like, you know,
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: walk in, like in giant city, walking the trails and stuff,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: and you go off the.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: Trail a little bit. I try not to go too
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: far off the trail because I will get lost.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: But, um, you just, all you gotta do is look
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: at the trees and stuff and just find, you know,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: breaks and things like that that have a twist to them.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: You know, if you find a break that's got a
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: twist to it, to me, that's not weather, that's not
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: a squirrel or something else, you know? I mean, it's,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: you know, as long as it's high up enough. And, um,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: you know, I found the stuff and it's like, well,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: you know, and then I saw that. So I'm like, okay,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: you know, this is, I mean, giant city would have
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: been the opposite direction I was going, but as much
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: ground as those things can cover, I mean, it's within
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: the area, you know.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: Can you tell me what is, what is giant city? Wait,
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: first of all, before you answer that, Jim Weaverling, thank
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: you for that super sticker. You are the best. I
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: appreciate you so much. Thank you for your support, Jim. Okay,
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: what is Giant City? I know you said, we were
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: talking about this the last time you came on, but
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: I don't remember. Is this an actual town, or is
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: it a nickname for something? Like, what is Giant City?
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: Well, there's theories about that. It's the nickname for, like,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: the state park right there. You know, it's all woods.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: I don't know how many thousands of acres it is,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: but there's a bunch. I even think it's probably part
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: of the Shawnee National Forest. It's just miles and miles
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: away from the big part of the Shawnee National Forest
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: down by Harrisburg. It's a really cool place. You can
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: go in there. There's all kinds of hiking trails and
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: There was an old stone.
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: Fort built back there.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: There's... I was trying to think. I've never really heard
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: why they called it Giant City. But one could assume
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: whenever they were developing it and stuff, because there was
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: this group of people. My great-grandpa, my grandma's dad, he
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: was part of them. It was for, like, out-of-work men,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: you know, like like servicemen and things like that. Um,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: they would, uh, work for, I guess the government paid them.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: It was some kind of like three or four letter deal,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: you know? And, um, my guess is, and this is
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: just my guess. Cause I haven't, I don't have anything
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: to back this up, but maybe whenever they were like,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: you know, blowing up these hillsides and whatnot, maybe they
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: were blowing up mounds and they were finding giant bones.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: It's just like, Because why else call it that?
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Or maybe they had Bigfoot sightings.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: You know? And they called it, like, maybe they were like, oh,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: it was forest giants. You know? I don't know. Or,
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: you know, whatever.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: Well, you're right in the heart of, like, where all
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: the mounds are. And so there's so many mounds out there.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: And so am I, Aaron Jordan. I was actually where
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: the car show was today that I was at. It's
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: in Cartersville where the Etowah Indian mounds are. I was
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: maybe five minutes from the Etowah Indian mounds. Like, the
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: biggest mound.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Complex down here in in georgia first of all they're
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: huge and uh there's yeah there's there's giants there were
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: giants all over the place all these maintenance stuff and
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: uh i.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: Mean the history is not far from the farm really
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: it's basically yeah basically it's right on the other side
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: of scott air force base not too far and so
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: i mean it's like you know an hour 40 45
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: minutes hour 45 minutes away from the farm maybe um.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Okay and i mean you know.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: I don't know. My wife thinks that there might be
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: something like that out there on the farm. I mean, hey,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: who's to say? I don't know.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Well, okay, Bryce, I had almost forgotten. I've been to
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: Southern Illinois. I was in Grafton. That's in Illinois, isn't it?
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, that's North Illinois.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Is that Illinois?
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's Illinois.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: It's more like the Metro East type area. It's over
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: kind of by Alton, I think, and that's a really
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: haunted town.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: It was very, we were, we sit at the pier.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Was it the pier Marquette resort or something like that?
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: And Beth was there. Beth's in the chat. Beth was there.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: We actually went out at night and we did like big,
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: we did some like Bigfoot stuff. It wasn't like scouting.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: I wasn't there for a Bigfoot conference. I was speaking
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: on Bigfoot at a conference, but it wasn't a Bigfoot event.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: But at night we would go out there. My friend
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: James Rink was there. Joe B was there too. He's
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: a famous boxer. Y'all probably know Joe Joyce. But anyways,
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: we went out there. There was a whole bunch of
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: us out there, actually. And we were, there was some
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: Bigfoot activity out there while we were out there late
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: at night and stuff. It was wild. And that was
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: in Grafton, of all places. And there is a very
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: rich history over there of a lot of high strangers,
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: including the Piazza bird. That weird chimera thing that's over there.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: Yeah, there's this podcast. So they're from Grafton, actually.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Grafton.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: Yeah, the Hollow Sky podcast. Steve and Kyle, they're buddies
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: of mine. I was on their podcast. They were like
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: one of the first ones I did, you know. And yeah,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: they live over there. And they were talking about whenever
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: the Finding Bigfoot people were there. and, like, Kyle, not Kyle,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: Steve even said, he was like, yeah, he's like, it
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: was pretty cool and all, it's like, yeah, we've had
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Bigfoot sightings, he's like, but I kept thinking to myself,
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: they need to go further south, and, yeah, it's like, yeah,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: come further south, they're down here, because he was thinking
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: with Shawnee, and, like I said, you know, Shawnee's not
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: that far away from the farm, so, you know, it's, it's,
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: it's just a weird area, Seminole, Illinois, there's a lot
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: of tree coverage, you know, forests and whatnot. Cause I mean,
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: you got to figure too, like you go up maybe
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: past Salem and you're heading North. And I mean, it
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: turns into just flat like cornfields, you know what I mean?
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: The rest of the way until you get up around Chicago. And, um,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: but down here in Southern Illinois, because of the glaciers
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: during the ice age, they pushed everything and all that stuff,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: you know, at least that's what my teacher told me
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: in grade school. So don't quote me. But, you know,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: that's why the area topographically is the way it is
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: down here.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: And I mean, there's all kinds of things that, you know,
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: could be in these woods, you know.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: I just heard over the weekend, the last weekend at
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: the conference, I heard about this place over in the
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Shawnee called the Shawnee Vortex. And basically, I don't know
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: if it's a portal or what, but a lot of
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: high strangeness happens over there in that area. where this
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: vortex supposedly is.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: I've never been there, but I heard, but I've heard
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: about it.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: Can I tell you something real quick? Because Thursday night
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: I had Jerry Millwood Jr. on the show and he
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: is with North Carolina Investigates. Wonderful fella. And he's a
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: good friend of mine. And, and I had done some
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: remote viewing and my team had done a little, some
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: of my team had done some remote viewing for his
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: property where he lives in North Carolina. And part of
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: that data included, he'd been there. By the way, they
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: went out on an investigation last night, and it's not
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: for me to tell anything, but they had some serious
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: activity last night and sent me some amazing evidence. I'm
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: not going to talk about it, but let me just
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: tell you, there's a lot of stuff going on on
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: his property, and they have video evidence of it now.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: But we're talking about Bigfoot, Dogman, Pell Crawlers, maybe aliens,
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: all sorts of weird stuff going on there. But in
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: the data, we were picking up on, I picked up
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: on personally, a vortex of and uh and it's a
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: spiraling vortex that was in the data like that's what
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: i was seeing there on his property was a spiraling
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: vortex and i i feel like that was like some
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: sort of a portal where these entities are coming in
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: and out of maybe not all of them but some
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: of them uh were definitely coming in and out of
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: there and i asked him i was like did you
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: do you ever have any like kind of wonky you
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: know dizziness and like do you ever hit an area
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: on your property where you feel like off kilter you
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: know and uh because i feel like that's where the
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: vortex would be That's what I told him. But anyways,
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: I think that sits on sacred land a lot of times.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I guarantee the Shawnee National Forest, there
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: was Shawnee Indians there. And I'd say that was probably
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: the Indians that were on the farm, too. I don't
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: know for a fact. I'd have to ask. Well, the
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: person that would know is dead. So he was one
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: of my dad's best friends. Yeah, he was big into
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: Native American stuff. And he had like one of the
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: most impressive arrowhead collections I'd ever seen in my life.
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: But yeah. Wow.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Man, I want to come up and hunt for arrowheads sometime, man.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: I love arrowheads.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: Come on up. Bring your group.
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: I will take you up on that.
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: I'll bring a couple of guys.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: I'll bring Tadza up there. That's my Tadza team. David
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: Pardue has been in the chat. He's an old school Bigfooter,
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: by the way. His main area is Uari. But he's
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: one of the best Bigfooters I know, actually. And yeah,
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: I'll have to come up there sometime. I've never been,
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: I was going to say I've never been to Illinois.
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: I have been to Illinois. I've never gone seriously researching
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: in Illinois before, though. So that would be something else.
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: Most people wouldn't think to.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: Well, I don't know.
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: We hear about it. Yeah, that's true. That's true. I mean,
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: cause you think that, well, a lot of the normies
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: would think that Bigfoot's just up in the Pacific Northwest,
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: but I mean, all throughout the Appalachians and, you know,
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: I live down at the very bottom tip of the
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: Appalachian mountains down here in Georgia. And, and I do
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: a lot of my research up in the North Georgia
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: mountains right up there, the heart of that. I mean,
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: to me, that's the heart of the Appalachians, even though
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: it's the Southern part, but we, we have, There's more
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: Bigfoots in North Georgia than anywhere I've ever investigated.
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: Oh, I believe it.
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: Anywhere.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: And there's more. Now we're getting more dogman sightings in
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: northwest Georgia than I've ever I've ever imagined. It's crazy.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: I don't know what the what the deal is with
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: the uptick in all the dogman encounters are right now.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Is there a lot of rivers? Because I was talking
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: with a guy that's going to be coming out, Miguel
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: from Sasquatch Theory. Him and Paul and the two guys
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: from Half-Inch Wrench Crew, they're all going to come out
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: this fall. We were trying to do it this spring,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: and it just didn't work out. But after the corn
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: crop gets cut and everything, they're going to come out, everybody,
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: and we're going to camp out, do overnight investigation, spend
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: the weekend out there, see what all we can find
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: and encounter and whatnot. And me and him were talking
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: about it, and we got on the subject of Dog Man,
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: Cause I told him, you know, uh, that.
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: Dad, what dad saw. And he was like, man, he goes,
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: I believe it.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: He was like, cause, uh, he was telling me like
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: the way that he would go to get to the farm.
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: He was like all through that area. And, you know,
- 1:38:39Speaker 3: it's just like where this river is.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: I can't remember if it's the Mississippi or if it's
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: a different one, it had to be the Mississippi.
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: It had to be Mississippi, Missouri. Um, but like there's
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: been a ton of dogman sightings through there on both
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: the Illinois and Missouri side. And it's like, they seem
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: to be like, they're following the river. Well, yes, you
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: take that. Okay. That river and everything. You've got the bottoms.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: The bottoms are over just on the other side of Murfreesboro.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: They start making their way through. They follow the wood line.
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Eventually they're going to get to the farm or wherever
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: out in that general vicinity, you know, um, So I
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: think they're following the rivers and just expanding out because
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: it's wooded, it's protected, so they can roam, you know. Yeah.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: But I think there's like massive packs of them doing that. No,
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: but it wouldn't surprise me if there's, you know, two
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: or three at a time, you know, because like I
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: started hearing stuff about people talking about Dogman where it's
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: like you might see one, but it's almost like in
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: the first Jurassic Park movie, Where it's like you're looking
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: at the one and then here's the other one. It's like, oh,
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: clever girl. You know, you don't, you know, it's like
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: I've been hearing about that stuff. So I'm just like, ooh,
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: packs of dog meat, like small packs. That's not, no.
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: So I hope it's only one out there on the
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: farm and I hope it's gone, but I don't think
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: it is. but, uh, yeah, this fall, I'm going to
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: be hitting it really hard because like I said, right now,
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: everything being cornfields, I just can't really get out in
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: my normal spots that I go.
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: And, you know, like I said, searching the bluff.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: Area, that was whenever I said it was kind of
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: like a bus, but not really, it's just not the
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: activity and the findings I'm used to.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: So it's like, I'm almost spoiled, I guess you could.
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: Say out there, but, um, I'm ready to get back
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: at it. And like, I talked to my dad, he's
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: getting some equipment and everything that we're going to have
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: out there for like GoPros, thermals and things like that.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: You know, I'm also going to, there was these guys,
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: they're from, well, their research area is the Shawnee, the
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: Squatchers is what they're called.
- 1:40:55Speaker 3: They'd be great for you to have on your show, actually.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Jim and Joe, really good guys. I was talking
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: with them And they told me, you know, just get
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: some audio recorders. They're like, if you're out there on
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: the farm, you know, you can have one going like,
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: you know, strap a tear or whatever, have one going,
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: going the whole time. Or if you're just sitting out
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: there with your dad by a fire, you know, have
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: it recording, whether you pick up anything or not, because,
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: you know, who's to say something like what happened with
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: me and Amber on her birthday wouldn't happen again. And
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: then we've got audio evidence of it happening, you know,
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: and it's just stuff like that that like, I never
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: even thought about, you know? So it's like, they're really
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: good guys. They're more than happy to share their knowledge
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: of things. Oh, and there you go.
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: There's five out there in the Shawnee.
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: It's I've, I've heard some audio from there and it's very,
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: very impressive. So it's like, okay, so I'm going to
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: go out with them eventually. it'll probably be this fall.
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: Cause I'd like to wait for the snakes.
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: To go away.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: Oh man. That's not good.
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: No, the rattlesnakes are out everywhere.
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. I didn't even know we had rattlesnakes here.
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: And then there was a couple of people that I
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: was talking to at the conference that were just like
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: regular attendees, but they were talking about, Oh yeah. Well,
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: if you go down to Shawnee, be careful because there's,
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: there's pygmy rattlesnakes down there. I'm like, You ain't got
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: to worry about me going there. He's like, I hate snakes.
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: Just wear your big boots.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: You'll be all right.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll just wear my big boots and keep the
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: light down on the ground instead of flashing around through
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: the trees. Might walk right by one. Oh, man.
- 1:42:48Speaker 2: So you said the Shawnee National Forest goes right up
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: to your property?
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: It's pretty close. There's a set of train tracks that
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: go from the Shawnee that connect to the train tracks
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: that go to the coal mine and that runs right
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: through the farm on the uh north end and so
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: my theory is that was how they got there now
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: those train tracks they went you know before they before
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: they reconnected to the coal mine now they were they
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: were still over there like you would see them over
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: there they're just old they weren't used then in comes
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: the coal mine 20 years ago builds the train tracks
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: going from the coal mine connecting to those tracks. But
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: those tracks, they do. They go right down, right through
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: the side of the Shawnee. I mean, you know, path
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: of least resistance. Why not?
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: I don't know if that's how they did it, but
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: to me.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: It's a good theory.
- 1:43:46Speaker 2: Do you think that the Bigfoot and stuff could be
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: living in those mines? What do you think?
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: Not the one, not the new ones.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: There were, well, are some old ones that, so like
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: before my dad and my stepmom got together, she lived
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: on a road that was about four or five miles
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: east of the farm. And on her road, there was
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: this old mine, right? And it was like a, like
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: a walk-in shaft.
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: I don't know how far down it went or anything
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: But it was just like one of those old, old ones.
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: And, and I remember my stepbrother, my older stepbrother, He
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: was telling a story one time that one of his
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: buddies was down in there messing around or something like that,
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: and they got chased out by something big.
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: They got chased out of the mine because something big
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: was in there.
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: They heard it. They were thinking of fare or something
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: like that, but we don't have fare in Southern Illinois.
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: That's the thing. Maybe once upon a time, a long
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: time ago, but- You don't have fare?
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: No, we don't down here.
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: No. Occasionally you'll have like a black bear migrate through
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: like from like Missouri going to like Indiana or Kentucky.
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: It'll be like bear watch. You'll see all like the
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: local news on Facebook and stuff like that. People posting
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: pictures and whatnot, saying where it's at. And most of
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: the time it's just migrating through, you know, it doesn't
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: stay anywhere for more than a day. But yeah, you know, again,
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: I wasn't there when that happened. I didn't know any
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: of them back then. So I don't know, but it's,
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: it's weird because that's one place they could go. I
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: wouldn't be surprised if out there on the land or
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: around the land, if there isn't like a cave just
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: because of the landscape through there and whatnot, and you
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: got your different bluffs and everything, it wouldn't surprise me. Um,
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: but I don't know. Um, So, you know, take that
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: for what it is, because like I said, you know, January, February,
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: there really wasn't any activity hardly. And, you know, I mean,
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: that's the coldest months of the year for us.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: So it makes sense that they would be somewhere else.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: Keep warm. I don't know. But like whatever it got
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: to be about March and everything and it wasn't freezing
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: cold again. started hearing them again, started finding like weird
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: breaks and things. There's a couple of buddies of mine
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: that live in Western Massachusetts and they're Bigfoot researchers. And
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: I sent them this picture I took. It wasn't on
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: the farm. It was like right before you get to
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: the farm. But it was weird because I noticed it
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: one day and I was like, well, that's strange.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: But I didn't really think anything of it, you know.
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: And then whenever I went back, like the next time
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: I saw it still, I'm like, there's something to that.
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: I got out and I got as close as I
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: could because what it was, it was like these two
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: like tree tops.
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: They weren't big trees or anything. I mean, they were tall,
- 1:46:49Speaker 3: but they weren't like wide.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? And the tops of them
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: were both broke down at like a 90 degree angle.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: But whenever you looked at it, they were also kind
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: of like where this this one right here was kind
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: of like tucked under the other one.
- 1:47:04Speaker 3: And like so it was like manipulated. And I mean,
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: this had to be, I.
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: Don't know, 10, 12 feet up in the air, you know,
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: like from ground level.
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: So it was strange.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: I mean, could it have been from the weather possibly,
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: but none of the other trees right there were, I mean,
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: it was like in a group of trees that, you know,
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: this was, this was like that. No, the other ones
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: were bothered. So it's like, I don't know.
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: You know, I don't know what to make of that.
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: But whenever I sent it to them, they were looking
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: and they zoomed in on it real big and everything.
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: And they said they could see where it looked like
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: it had been wrapped, like wrapped under and almost like
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: holding the other one in place to where they were
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: both kind of like just sitting at like that 90
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: degree angle. I don't know.
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: You know, some of the guys that I go out
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: big footing with have always told me they're like, you know,
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: cause I mean, and I think I'm sure that sometimes
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: they hop in on my shows. David, there's David Pardue
- 1:48:02Speaker 2: right there. What's up, David? David and I are on
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: some teams together. And he goes, he's out there. So
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: I think Beth was asking, do we go out and
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: look for Bigfoot in the winter? My teams go out
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: all throughout the year. It doesn't matter if it's rain, sleet,
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: or snow. Hot, dry, cold, it doesn't matter. We're out there.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: Looking for Bigfoot, but we don't, we don't get a
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: lot of activity when it's really cold or raining and
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: stuff like that. It's actually, we get more activity when
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: the weather's nice.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: And so just like what you're saying. Yeah. So it's,
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: it's kind of the same. David says that he's out
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: there from early fall. all the way through early summer
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: and potty times, potty times in the AC. I don't
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: even know what you're talking about, David, but okay. But,
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: but yeah, it's, it's usually best like when the weather's nice,
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: like they're out there when we're out there, we want
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: to be out there when the weather's better. That's what
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: it is. So I can, you know, I can appreciate that.
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: Right. And like, I think one reason we had so
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: much success last year doing all that, which I hate
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: it because it, screwed me on my soybean yield that
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: we got but the farming people that we rent the
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: land out to to farm where that pipeline was going
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: through they couldn't farm none of that yet so we
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: had most of that summer before you know they started
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: running tractors plows all that stuff so I mean everything
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: was just like you could walk out in the fields
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: and find stuff and I also wonder though if because
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: the land was being destroyed right there, you know, bulldoze
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: down trees, all that kind of stuff, the ground being all,
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: you know, messed up and all that for them to
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: lay that pipeline. If that didn't piss.
- 1:49:47Speaker 3: Off the, uh, Bigfoot, you know, absolutely being more active.
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: And like checking things out because like after the, that
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: first video we made for Joe's YouTube channel, dad started noticing, um,
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: drones out on the farm and, um, At first, he's
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: thinking maybe it's just the pipeline because he knew the
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: pipeline had drones. But then he started having some other drones.
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: He was thinking, you know, somebody out there trying to
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: scope out. Maybe they got a thermal trying to find.
- 1:50:19Speaker 3: Bigfoot or something.
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: And it got to the point where he was about
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: to start shooting them out of the sky because one
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: was following him while he was walking around out on
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: the farm.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: You know how tempted I've been to do that? I've
- 1:50:31Speaker 2: been so tempted. We used to have those drones that
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: would come down and fly over our farm. We had
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: a farm, too. And it was so intrusive, Bryce. So intrusive.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: And they would fly right down in front of the
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: house and sit right in front of us like, na-na-na-boo-boo.
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: Yeah, no manners at all. You know. Dad's all like,
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: I don't know if.
- 1:50:55Speaker 3: I get in trouble or not.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: I'm like, I mean, I'm not sure how that works.
- 1:51:00Speaker 3: I'm like, but the way I see it is it's
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: above your property.
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: You don't want it there.
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: I'm not real sure. He was like, he goes, I'd
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: shoot it. And then I went for the person to
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: come looking for it. And I'm like, yeah, call me
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: when you do that. But, uh, I'm not going to say,
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: you know, yeah, but, um, yeah, you know, it's just,
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: it's weird. And then it's like, so like all these
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: podcasts I've been doing, because I've only been on doing
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: these podcasts since back in November, uh, You know, it
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: was like, I mean, I've been on like my friend
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: Truth and Bass. I've been on their show. But and
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: I talked about like, really, it's to I really owe
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: everything to them because they're the ones that got me
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: to really come forward about it all. Because like we
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: were all buddies. So I was just talking to them
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: about it. And I go on their show. And I mean,
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: their show, it's not a huge show or anything. But,
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: you know, I've made some pretty tight friends through that show.
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: And they were the ones that really pushed me to, you.
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: Know, get it out there. So I was like, all right. But, um,
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: you know, it's just, yeah. And so it's like, it
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: went from like doing all these podcasts, doing these YouTube shows.
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: Now I'm doing public speaking events. I never once expected
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: to do that. Wanted to do that. Um, I just,
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: I got asked about a big money monster festival back in, uh, June.
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: And cause I can remember I called you.
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: I was like, Hey, so I'm going to be doing
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: this speaking thing. Got any pointers? Um, you know, and
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: then it's, it's kind of just went off from there
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: and turned into its own beast.
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: It's like, I just didn't know.
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: Yeah. It's weird.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: And it's like, I, you know, you're, you're like me.
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: Like we never, neither of us ever expected to like
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: speak publicly about the stuff we experienced.
- 1:52:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: And, uh, and here, here I am, the cryptic hunter
- 1:52:50Speaker 2: is on YouTube now. Okay. So get ready, Bryce.
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: Yeah. And like, uh, the, the, the concrete, the big
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: muddy monster festival, uh, That was my first one.
- 1:53:02Speaker 3: And they had me headlining.
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm like, Chad Lewis is here. He's famous.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: He's been on TV.
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: He's wrote like 40 books.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: I'm just a local yokel. You know, it's like, Oh God.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: So yeah. Following him. I'm like, Oh crap.
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: You know, I'm sure you did amazing. And you know,
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: and the pictures are really good. I could tell you
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: were doing a great job up there. We'll show the
- 1:53:28Speaker 2: audience figures in a minute. But, uh, you know, that's,
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: that's so it's, it's important to get out there in
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: the communities. Like I was, I was telling the audience
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: this past week, like I love doing the small town events.
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: Like that's, that is what I love the most is
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: getting out into the communities around where I live in
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: Georgia and Alabama, that area. Like I love doing these
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: small town events. Cause a lot of people show up
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: for this stuff and that's where you can meet. That's
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: where you meet. all the people that are having these
- 1:53:55Speaker 2: experiences and stuff and like, it's more comfortable for them
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: to come up and talk to you about it. And yeah.
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: Yeah. That place was packed.
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: Was it?
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: It was. Oh yeah.
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: At the, at the big money monster festival, but it
- 1:54:07Speaker 3: was also free.
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: You know what I mean? So like everybody went in
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: and it was the Liberty theater in Murfreesboro. That was
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: where like all the speakers were speaking at and where
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: they showed the documentary. Cause they actually showed it on
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: like the big movie theater, the big movie screen and everything.
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: And that was really cool.
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: Um, and it also made the whole, uh, seeing the, uh,
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: UFO at the end, uh, even more creepier because I'm
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: seeing it on the big screen. I'm thinking to when
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: it happened and I'm just like getting goosebumps as I'm
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: seeing it, you know, I'm like, that was creepy. But, um, yeah.
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: So like then just this past Saturday, uh, I spoke
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: at the Southern Illinois Bigfoot conference and, um, and that
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: was a trip because, you know, Martin Groves was there. Uh,
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: Ken Gerhard was there. Todd Neese, um, the Squatchers, um, Betsy,
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: I will butcher her last name. Cause it was, it
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: began with a K cool. Kowalski's or something. Kowalski. I
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: I'm I apologize, Betsy.
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: If you ever see this, um, I won't tell you. Yeah,
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: and just like some other people were there too, you know.
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: Bigfoot was there. Luckily, I was going third. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: that's my wife and Ken. That's so sweet. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: that was cool. There's me with Ken.
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: I met Ken. He was at one of the Alabama
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: Bigfoot conferences. I met him a while back. And that's
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: my buddy, Martin Groves, right there. That's my buddy.
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: Yep, me and Martin. Yep. Such a sweet guy.
- 1:55:39Speaker 3: Really sweet, nice guy.
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: And actually, whenever he was doing his presentation, he had
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: me out there on stage with him working the slide clicker.
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: So that was pretty cool.
- 1:55:49Speaker 3: Got to share the stage with Martin Groves.
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: That's good. Look at you. You are official. Look at you.
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: You are official. Yeah.
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: Appreciate that.
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it was laundry day that day, so I grabbed
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: my camo shorts there, and I'm like, well, this is
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: going to work, I guess. That's the squatchers. That's Jim
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: and Joe. They're super, super nice guys.
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: Oh, man. That is so cool. That's wonderful. I know.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: Oops.
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: Let me go back.
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: That's video.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: Part of the video.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: Video. Talking and everything. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: I love that. That's great. Well, now you're official. Now
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: you're official Bigfoot speaker.
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah. I've got another one coming up October 3rd
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: at the Shawnee Sasquatch Fest in Harrisburg, Illinois.
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: Okay. I'll be speaking there. I don't know who else is.
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: Um, I know I am at least usually they have
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: like two or three. So, I mean, it's not, the
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: festival itself is big, but I'm not so sure about like,
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: as far as like the speaking speakers part, you know,
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: cause like they'll have like bands going and they have
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: like some like free carnival rides. And then inside the
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: municipal building is where they have the speakers at. So it's,
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: you know, you might have 20, 30 people in there.
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: You might have nobody.
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: I don't know. We'll find out.
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: But that's the next one. And I mean, it's it's
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: been going good, though.
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: I feel like the more I do it, the more
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: confident I feel in doing it. Whenever I spoke Saturday, though,
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: and I was looking up at the balcony and I
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: saw Ken and Martin standing there, I'm like, oh, crap.
- 1:57:26Speaker 1: You know, because I mean, they both told me afterwards,
- 1:57:30Speaker 1: they were like the sincere, the sincerity in your voice
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: and just looking at you when you're talking, your body language,
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: all that. They're like, I believe you saw what you saw.
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: And I mean, and hearing that from them, that's like
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: the biggest compliment ever, you know. And and then, like
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: I said, also, like the people that came up to
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: me that were like, you know, just patrons. That came
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: up to me afterwards to my merch table talking to
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: me and stuff and telling me about stuff they've encountered
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: or just thanking me for, you know, being a local
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: guy that wasn't afraid to come out, you know. Oh,
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: thank you, Beth. Yep.
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: I've only got two left. I got to put another
- 1:58:04Speaker 3: order in for shirts.
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: I didn't expect to sell hardly anything Cause honestly the
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: ticket sales for that, they weren't that great, but the turnout,
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: it was, I mean, the building, the venue would hold
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: 300 people. And I think that only like.
- 1:58:18Speaker 3: 60 something tickets got sold.
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: I mean, they were a little pricey in my opinion,
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: but I mean, some of the names we had there,
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: I get it, you know, but, um, It's about quality.
- 1:58:32Speaker 2: It's quality, not quantity. Okay.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: Exactly. And it was like, you know, the way I
- 1:58:37Speaker 1: looked at it was, I don't think these people paid
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: money to not believe everybody they're talking about stuff or
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: heckle anybody.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: So we didn't have to, you know, really mess with it.
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: You know, people who are going to heckle and like
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: be the naysayers are probably not going to show up
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: to events like that. And that's what I found out. Like,
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: I'm never even worried about that. It doesn't matter to me.
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: I've gotten to where, You know, you get a thick
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: skin when you start speaking publicly about Bigfoot and Dogman experiences.
- 1:59:05Speaker 2: And you get to where you just don't, you have
- 1:59:08Speaker 2: to kind of separate yourself from like worrying about like
- 1:59:11Speaker 2: what people think and stuff. And you got to kind
- 1:59:15Speaker 2: of just trust like when you go out and you
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: speak publicly like that, the people who are going to,
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: you're going to be surrounded by more people who support
- 1:59:22Speaker 2: you than don't. You know what I mean? And so
- 1:59:26Speaker 2: have some comfort knowing that. Just have confidence.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: Yeah, like in Murfreesboro, I only came across one guy
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: that was like a skeptic, you know. He was like,
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: so you've seen Bigfoot? And I was like, yep, right
- 1:59:38Speaker 1: here in Southern Illinois. He's like, really?
- 1:59:40Speaker 3: And I was like, yeah.
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: And he was just like, huh.
- 1:59:44Speaker 3: And then just like walked on. You know what I mean?
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: I'm just like him and his wife. And his wife
- 1:59:48Speaker 1: looked like she was half drunk. He may have been
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: half drunk too.
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: Well, you know, at least.
- 1:59:52Speaker 2: You're curious about it though. You know what I mean?
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: Like I actually really, I love talking to people. If
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: people are skeptics, that's fine. Yeah, I welcome it.
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Don't make fun of me,
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: but I welcome it.
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: Don't make fun of me or else you get enough
- 2:00:06Speaker 2: of someone.
- 2:00:06Speaker 1: I'm just kidding.
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: I know, I'm kidding.
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 2:00:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure that people can appreciate you telling about
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: your entire family's experiences out there and having a documentary
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: to back that up. That's really special.
- 2:00:24Speaker 3: With evidence on it. It's not just me talking about it.
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: It's my dad. It's the stories my grandma told me,
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: told my wife. It's stuff I didn't even know about
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: that I found out through that and everything. Whenever dad
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: was talking or like these other videos we've done with
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: Joe where my uncle was talking about stuff he's experienced
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: out there. The Bluff that used to be where everybody
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: went and party, you know what I mean? Or camped
- 2:00:49Speaker 1: out because yeah, well, uh, back in 2008, I think
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: it was on May 8th, we had what we call
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: here in this area, we call it the May 8th storm.
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: It was, uh, one of those like inland hurricanes, uh,
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: like a derecho, I think is what it's called. And, um,
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: it just, it wiped out like Most of Southern Illinois
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: was without power. And where I was living at the time,
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: I was living up closer to where I work at.
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: So it was just south of me where this storm hit.
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: And I remember the day that storm hit because just
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: how wild the sky looked. And like it was so bad.
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: My mom, she had to drive from where she lived
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: at like four counties away from where I was just
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: to come up and get water. You know, because they
- 2:01:31Speaker 1: didn't have water.
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: They didn't have power.
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: None of that. and um so it was weird but
- 2:01:37Speaker 1: like anyways where i'm going with that is that bluff
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: area all these trees and everything fell over like even
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: whenever we went to it to go film that video
- 2:01:47Speaker 1: back in may or june i i couldn't recognize the
- 2:01:50Speaker 1: bluff everything has changed from how it was whenever i
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: was a kid because like i remember where everybody used
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: to party i partied there too um you know or
- 2:01:59Speaker 1: camped at and everything down there because there was like
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: this small like before you got to like the Creek,
- 2:02:05Speaker 1: you had this like plateau area and that's where everybody
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: always was at. We'd have fires and all kinds of stuff.
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: And then grandma would figure out what we were doing
- 2:02:15Speaker 1: and run everybody off.
- 2:02:16Speaker 3: But that's another story. But, uh, you know, like I
- 2:02:21Speaker 3: was trying to find that.
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: Area and it was just all these trees and everything
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: had blown over and they just been down there, you know,
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: for the last, 18 years. So it's just, it's not
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: the best place to be. And it's really creepy. But, um,
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: my uncle, he was down there in the seventies or eighties.
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: He was, I guess it was the eighties. He was
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: camping down there and he talked about something big walking
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: through his camp. And he said that, you know, like
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: he just had like the campfire going, his tent, uh,
- 2:02:55Speaker 1: He was like, you know, he had roasted some hot
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: dogs or whatever earlier in the evening. And like he
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: just he said he heard something like run up and
- 2:03:05Speaker 1: then walk around his camp and like push down on
- 2:03:08Speaker 1: his tent. And then it was just gone. And I
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: was like, well, did you see what it was? He
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: was like, no, I wasn't coming out of that tent.
- 2:03:15Speaker 1: He was like, absolutely not. And, you know, so I mean.
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: I don't think that was a person. You know, the
- 2:03:22Speaker 1: way he described it, he's like, it didn't seem like
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: a person to me. I even asked him, like, would
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: you think it was like one of your buddies or
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: dad or somebody messing with your grandpa? Even it was like, no, no.
- 2:03:31Speaker 3: He goes, that hand pushing down on the tent was
- 2:03:34Speaker 3: way bigger.
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: It was like it was way bigger than a person. So,
- 2:03:38Speaker 1: I mean, you know, for decades, at least 60 years,
- 2:03:43Speaker 1: we've had weird stuff going on out there. And it's
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: not just Bigfoot. It's, you know, all this other stuff, too.
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: You know, you've got orbs that we'll see. Do I think,
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: you know, do I think that there's something to do
- 2:04:02Speaker 1: with the Fae out there?
- 2:04:03Speaker 3: Not really.
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: But I've also heard people make the argument that all
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: of this is the Fae or has to do with
- 2:04:13Speaker 1: the Fae lore and whatnot. I've heard that too.
- 2:04:16Speaker 3: Take it with a grain of salt.
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know that I believe that,
- 2:04:21Speaker 1: but I can't say no because I don't know. You
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: know what I mean? But I haven't noticed any fairy
- 2:04:28Speaker 1: rings or nothing.
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I've heard that too, Bryce, but I
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: don't know about that one. I don't know about that one.
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: But who knows? Nobody has all the answers to any
- 2:04:39Speaker 2: of that stuff. I do have a question for you, though. Okay.
- 2:04:43Speaker 2: So like your whole family pretty much is involved in this.
- 2:04:46Speaker 2: And I come from a family, like a long line
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: of people who, especially women, my family, who have a
- 2:04:54Speaker 2: lot of weird experiences like your family has and ghosts,
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: possible alien abductions and UFO stuff going on and and
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: seeing strange things like we all do, like our family.
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: But do you think maybe there could be something connected
- 2:05:11Speaker 2: to your bloodline potentially? And maybe that's why, like, I
- 2:05:14Speaker 2: know your family's been on that property for a long time,
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: but I don't know. What do you think about that?
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: You think it could be like a bloodline thing?
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: It's possible.
- 2:05:23Speaker 3: Amber brought that up to me one time, actually.
- 2:05:27Speaker 1: She thinks that there's something with my family and that land.
- 2:05:34Speaker 1: And now what? I don't know. Like you said, it
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: could just be because we've been out there forever. She
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: said she got this feeling because like, I don't know
- 2:05:46Speaker 1: how really to describe it, but like Amber's got these
- 2:05:48Speaker 1: things that she can sense, you know what I mean?
- 2:05:51Speaker 3: And these things that she can see.
- 2:05:56Speaker 1: She's not crazy or something like that. But she gets
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: the feeling like, you know, these creatures out there, like
- 2:06:05Speaker 1: the Bigfoot mainly is what we're talking about on this,
- 2:06:08Speaker 1: almost look at us as stewards of the land or
- 2:06:11Speaker 1: maybe even, you know, like the forest spirits, you know
- 2:06:16Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 2:06:16Speaker 3: Because those are real, you know, I believe that wholeheartedly.
- 2:06:19Speaker 1: Like I've talked to Brother Nighthawk, if he's still in
- 2:06:22Speaker 1: the chat, I've talked, we've talked about that before, you know,
- 2:06:26Speaker 1: and she feels like we're almost looked at as like
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: the stewards of the land because we've been around for
- 2:06:31Speaker 1: so long on that land. you know and um so
- 2:06:36Speaker 1: there could be something there with the blood now you
- 2:06:39Speaker 1: want to take and throw in all the ufo stuff
- 2:06:41Speaker 1: and like possible abductions i don't know i don't know
- 2:06:44Speaker 1: if i've been abducted i don't think i have but
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: i did have a weird dream one time but that's
- 2:06:49Speaker 1: a whole another show um but i'm not gonna say
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: i have because i don't think i have but like
- 2:06:55Speaker 1: it's weird that like my grandma uh So my grandma,
- 2:06:59Speaker 1: before she met or before she got with grandpa and
- 2:07:01Speaker 1: moved out to the farm, she lived in the town
- 2:07:03Speaker 1: I live in now. And so her and her sister,
- 2:07:07Speaker 1: she had three sisters and two brothers. And they used
- 2:07:12Speaker 1: to live on Third Street here in town. And they
- 2:07:16Speaker 1: had this neighbor that told grandma's sister that she would
- 2:07:21Speaker 1: see this light come from the town south of us.
- 2:07:26Speaker 1: This is this light in the sky and it would
- 2:07:28Speaker 1: fly over and it would stop and be above their house.
- 2:07:33Speaker 1: You know, grandma, grandma's house back in the day. So
- 2:07:37Speaker 1: my my great grandparents house on her side above their
- 2:07:41Speaker 1: house and just hover. And it usually would hover over
- 2:07:44Speaker 1: my great aunt's bedroom the way that she described on
- 2:07:47Speaker 1: the side of the house. Now, it wasn't like it
- 2:07:49Speaker 1: was coming down and it was like, you know, 20
- 2:07:52Speaker 1: feet above the house, but it was low enough to
- 2:07:55Speaker 1: where this neighbor could get a good view of it.
- 2:07:58Speaker 1: And that's weird because you know, being like grandma and
- 2:08:01Speaker 1: aunt Sue, they didn't care to tell me and my
- 2:08:04Speaker 1: cousin this story, these stories when we were kids and
- 2:08:07Speaker 1: all that stuff, they were very open about the paranormal and, um,
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: you know, cryptids and things like that. They were very
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: open about it. And a lot of times you don't
- 2:08:17Speaker 1: get that from that generation. but they've experienced a lot
- 2:08:23Speaker 1: of stuff so I'm kind of keeping that in the
- 2:08:28Speaker 1: back of my mind my neighbor who lives across the
- 2:08:31Speaker 1: road from me he told me a couple months ago
- 2:08:35Speaker 1: I was talking with him and I was telling him
- 2:08:37Speaker 1: about this deal and everything I was like hey man.
- 2:08:40Speaker 3: If you don't mind I know you're up a lot.
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: At night just kind of keep an eye on my
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: house for me and there was an issue that we
- 2:08:48Speaker 1: were having and, uh, since it's been taken care of,
- 2:08:53Speaker 1: but I was like, you know, just keep an eye
- 2:08:55Speaker 1: out for me if you would. And, um, he's like, yeah,
- 2:08:58Speaker 1: no problem. And then he goes, you know, it's really weird.
- 2:09:01Speaker 1: He's like, I'll see a light come from that town
- 2:09:03Speaker 1: over that way and come over and kind of hover
- 2:09:06Speaker 1: above your house. And I'm like, what? You know?
- 2:09:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:09:13Speaker 1: Like a drone. He's like, nah, man. He's like, it's
- 2:09:16Speaker 1: like one of those like UFOs or UAPs.
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: And I'm like, Whoa.
- 2:09:21Speaker 1: What? You know, because I'm thinking about Aunt Sue's story.
- 2:09:25Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay. And this is the first time
- 2:09:29Speaker 1: I've talked about this just because we got on the subject.
- 2:09:31Speaker 1: But it's strange. And I've had some weird dreams. But
- 2:09:37Speaker 1: like I said, I just keep associating them as dreams.
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: They feel very real, but I've had dreams that feel
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: very real. You know? So... I'm not saying yes. I'm
- 2:09:48Speaker 1: not saying no. I'm just going to say, I don't
- 2:09:50Speaker 1: think so. You know, as far as abduction type things,
- 2:09:53Speaker 1: but definitely strange, you know, because this is other people
- 2:09:58Speaker 1: not related to us, just neighbors, you know, I mean,
- 2:10:01Speaker 1: we're friends with them, but it's not like we hang
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: out or anything. I mean, we're just, we're friendly. Um,
- 2:10:06Speaker 1: and then, you know, he's telling me this and it's
- 2:10:08Speaker 1: basically the same thing that happened decades ago with aunt Sue.
- 2:10:13Speaker 1: So I don't know. Um, I never caught that nasty
- 2:10:18Speaker 1: virus that was going around a few years back, you know,
- 2:10:22Speaker 1: and I never took the jab or anything. So, I mean,
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: it's like, and I don't know why I always throw
- 2:10:28Speaker 1: that out there.
- 2:10:28Speaker 3: It just kind of feels like.
- 2:10:31Speaker 1: Like, like you were protected.
- 2:10:32Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Cause it's like literally everybody
- 2:10:35Speaker 3: caught that.
- 2:10:36Speaker 1: It seemed like.
- 2:10:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Not everybody. I didn't give into it either. I'm
- 2:10:42Speaker 2: with you. Good deal. Yeah.
- 2:10:44Speaker 1: My kids got it. I was surrounded by it, but
- 2:10:46Speaker 1: I never, ever tested positive. None of that.
- 2:10:50Speaker 2: So yeah, I never tested or at all. None of that.
- 2:10:55Speaker 2: I know I lost some friends over all that too.
- 2:10:57Speaker 2: And that's fine. We won't get into all that, but
- 2:10:59Speaker 2: I don't want to say like I lost friends, but
- 2:11:01Speaker 2: I kind of did like, there was a split at
- 2:11:03Speaker 2: that point and everybody went in different directions. And that
- 2:11:07Speaker 2: was like, that was wild. It was wild. So I
- 2:11:10Speaker 2: see what you're, I know what you're saying.
- 2:11:11Speaker 1: But you know, whatever. Yeah.
- 2:11:13Speaker 2: But wow. Well, that's interesting, you know, and we do
- 2:11:17Speaker 2: have some interesting other questions in the chat, too, because Blazer. Oh, yeah.
- 2:11:20Speaker 3: Fire away.
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: I can't see him.
- 2:11:22Speaker 2: So, well, have you ever had a near death experience before?
- 2:11:25Speaker 1: I don't know if you call it near death experience.
- 2:11:30Speaker 1: I feel like if what happened hadn't happened, I probably
- 2:11:33Speaker 1: would have died. So my sophomore year was homecoming. We
- 2:11:39Speaker 1: went out to the farm and I was living out
- 2:11:42Speaker 1: there at the time. This is back when me and
- 2:11:44Speaker 1: dad and my stepmom and my stepbrother lived in the
- 2:11:47Speaker 1: pole barn house.
- 2:11:49Speaker 3: But we were out there, we were having a bonfire.
- 2:11:52Speaker 1: And like my buddy and his girlfriend and my girlfriend
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: at the time, we were out there, you know, just
- 2:11:59Speaker 1: hanging out, you know, we weren't drinking or anything like that.
- 2:12:02Speaker 1: And it got time to go ahead and take the
- 2:12:05Speaker 1: girls home and all that. So We went back to
- 2:12:08Speaker 1: town and on the way, for whatever reason, my dumb
- 2:12:11Speaker 1: ass girlfriend decides to just grab the steering wheel and
- 2:12:15Speaker 1: turn it, you know. And so, of course, the car
- 2:12:19Speaker 1: starts spinning. And this is weird because it spins. So
- 2:12:24Speaker 1: like the road's going this way. The car is like this,
- 2:12:28Speaker 1: you know, and I see this big tree. And the
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: only thing I can think is, oh, God, I'm going
- 2:12:34Speaker 1: to be the high school kid that dies.
- 2:12:36Speaker 3: You know what I mean? And now this is going
- 2:12:40Speaker 3: to sound crazy. I've talked about it a couple of times.
- 2:12:43Speaker 1: But.
- 2:12:47Speaker 3: OK, so just follow me on this, OK, because I
- 2:12:49Speaker 3: know it sounds wild.
- 2:12:52Speaker 1: I saw these hands like these big, bright hands, like
- 2:12:57Speaker 1: one push, like the front fender and one was like pushing, like,
- 2:13:00Speaker 1: I guess the door. And literally shoved the car to
- 2:13:03Speaker 1: where like, so you got this tree right here. The
- 2:13:06Speaker 1: car goes like tree straight over and into a driveway.
- 2:13:13Speaker 1: Guardian angel, an angel, you know, interfering, you know, pushing
- 2:13:18Speaker 1: me out of the way because it wasn't my time.
- 2:13:20Speaker 1: I don't know. But whatever it was, thank you. And
- 2:13:25Speaker 1: I don't talk about that one often because number one,
- 2:13:30Speaker 1: it doesn't come up. But number two, it's just so
- 2:13:33Speaker 1: weird because what were those hands? You know what I mean?
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: And it was like, as soon as I saw him,
- 2:13:39Speaker 1: like the corner of my eye touched the car. That's
- 2:13:42Speaker 1: when the car just immediately, it's going this way. And
- 2:13:46Speaker 1: immediately it just sideways moves over and then keeps going straight.
- 2:13:51Speaker 3: You know what I mean? It's just like, okay.
- 2:13:54Speaker 1: Needless to say, I got rid of the girlfriend after that.
- 2:13:59Speaker 1: I mean, that was just one of those deals where
- 2:14:01Speaker 1: it's like I wasn't dead and hovering above my body,
- 2:14:04Speaker 1: but I definitely saw something otherworldly. And I feel like
- 2:14:09Speaker 1: had that interference not have happened, I would be dead.
- 2:14:13Speaker 1: You know, and I was going like 60, you know,
- 2:14:17Speaker 1: whenever that happened.
- 2:14:19Speaker 3: So, I mean, I don't know what possessed her to
- 2:14:22Speaker 3: do that.
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: That is a near death experience. Maybe she got taken
- 2:14:26Speaker 2: over by something.
- 2:14:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:14:28Speaker 2: There's some, there's some evil stuff, entities and stuff. I
- 2:14:31Speaker 2: don't know.
- 2:14:31Speaker 3: It was just so weird.
- 2:14:34Speaker 2: That's wild. I'm glad. Well, I'm glad you survived that.
- 2:14:37Speaker 2: You know, I actually had a, this is in the
- 2:14:39Speaker 2: past couple of years, I had an incident where I
- 2:14:41Speaker 2: got tripped up something like I was, I fell down,
- 2:14:44Speaker 2: I was falling down my steps and, and this is
- 2:14:46Speaker 2: a fall. These are really tall steps. And I, it
- 2:14:49Speaker 2: was like a freak, freak accident kind of thing. It
- 2:14:51Speaker 2: was almost like really, really freak, freak accident. Like I
- 2:14:55Speaker 2: stepped in something and like, and I just started tumbling,
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: but I never, I was like lifted into the air.
- 2:15:01Speaker 2: Like I felt arms on my, on my, underneath me
- 2:15:05Speaker 2: lifting me up as I felt like I, my feet
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: never hit the ground. I made it down to the
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: bottom of the steps and it was like, it defined explanation.
- 2:15:13Speaker 2: It didn't make any sense, but I had felt arms
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: lifting me up and carrying me down the steps as
- 2:15:17Speaker 2: I fell. It was crazy. I probably should have been
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: in the hospital and not survived that. It was bad.
- 2:15:25Speaker 1: That was probably a guardian angel or something.
- 2:15:27Speaker 2: Yes, I felt arms. It was wild. My friend Barry
- 2:15:31Speaker 2: and I were talking about it the other day. He's like, yeah,
- 2:15:33Speaker 2: you got these people trying to curse you all the time.
- 2:15:38Speaker 2: I know. I got people on the other side that
- 2:15:41Speaker 2: are not going to let that happen. That happened to
- 2:15:44Speaker 2: me too. That was just recent. That was in the
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: past couple of years that happened. And, uh, and I'm not,
- 2:15:49Speaker 2: I'm not a clumsy person by nature. I really am not. And, uh, that,
- 2:15:54Speaker 2: that part even felt like a freak out, like something
- 2:15:56Speaker 2: kind of freaky to me because like, I don't trip
- 2:15:59Speaker 2: up like that. You know what I mean? And, uh,
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: it was just, it was weird. It was weird. Just
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: like you said, it was weird. But, uh, anyways, I'm
- 2:16:07Speaker 2: just glad we're here and, you know, and, and, and
- 2:16:10Speaker 2: we've survived these things, you and I both, you know,
- 2:16:12Speaker 2: and that's why it is, there is something, there is
- 2:16:14Speaker 2: a higher power out there that is for sure.
- 2:16:19Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 2:16:20Speaker 2: Well, I have some other questions, too. There's a lot
- 2:16:21Speaker 2: of questions in the chat, I know, but I've got
- 2:16:23Speaker 2: a couple here to pull up. Milton, Milton Duke Duke.
- 2:16:27Speaker 2: What's up, Duke Duke? Says, does your guest have cemeteries,
- 2:16:31Speaker 2: mounds near the property? Do you have cemeteries and mounds
- 2:16:36Speaker 2: that you know of?
- 2:16:37Speaker 1: The closest cemetery to the property is probably 400. for
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: five mile, I don't know, not five, probably about four miles.
- 2:16:50Speaker 1: What would that be? North of the farm. There's another one.
- 2:16:56Speaker 1: It's a small one. I think it might be a
- 2:16:59Speaker 1: family plot that's kind of in like a catty corner direction,
- 2:17:05Speaker 1: about maybe three miles. But I don't know like the
- 2:17:10Speaker 1: family that it would be or anything. It's just pretty
- 2:17:12Speaker 1: old looking. Um, but like where my grandma and grandpa
- 2:17:16Speaker 1: are buried at, um, that that's the one that's like
- 2:17:18Speaker 1: four miles over.
- 2:17:19Speaker 3: Uh, those are the closest ones I know of.
- 2:17:22Speaker 1: Uh, there's one East, but it's like six miles East.
- 2:17:26Speaker 1: So not really so much on the property. Um, I
- 2:17:31Speaker 1: do remember being a kid. I don't know where we
- 2:17:34Speaker 1: were though. It was my older cousins. Uh, I was
- 2:17:36Speaker 1: riding on the back of a three wheeler with them
- 2:17:38Speaker 1: and we were just riding on three wheeler.
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: God, three wheelers are like the worst. They were so dangerous.
- 2:17:45Speaker 1: That's all we had we didn't even have four wheelers.
- 2:17:49Speaker 2: We just had three wheelers yeah yeah i mean they
- 2:17:52Speaker 2: were the best they were fun but like those are
- 2:17:55Speaker 2: so dangerous i mean it was a if you break
- 2:17:58Speaker 2: too hard like you were flipping end over end there's
- 2:18:00Speaker 2: no doubt you're done.
- 2:18:01Speaker 1: Yeah i've done that.
- 2:18:04Speaker 3: And I almost died on a four-wheeler.
- 2:18:05Speaker 2: By the way, too. I know you're about to tell
- 2:18:07Speaker 2: us a story about your wreck. I had a wreck
- 2:18:09Speaker 2: with my cousin and my sister, and we all three
- 2:18:12Speaker 2: almost died on a four-wheeler. We flipped end over end
- 2:18:15Speaker 2: down the road. It was wild.
- 2:18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I tried climbing a hill and lost.
- 2:18:20Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 2:18:21Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 2:18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of people don't, especially kids, they don't
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: survive wrecks like that.
- 2:18:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:18:28Speaker 2: They don't. My step-sister's son didn't survive one of those. Yeah.
- 2:18:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that was more in my.
- 2:18:36Speaker 1: I just started at the factory, so it would have
- 2:18:38Speaker 1: been like my early 20s, like 22, 23. I still
- 2:18:42Speaker 1: had one then. I took it to go ride around
- 2:18:44Speaker 1: with some people, and they were going up it no problem,
- 2:18:47Speaker 1: but they had four-wheelers.
- 2:18:47Speaker 3: I was like, I could probably make it. I just
- 2:18:49Speaker 3: got a little bit longer to go at it.
- 2:18:52Speaker 1: I got up there about halfway, and I was like, nope,
- 2:18:54Speaker 1: I'm missing it, and I bailed off the side of
- 2:18:56Speaker 1: it and just watched.
- 2:18:57Speaker 3: My three-wheeler do end over end back down the hill.
- 2:18:59Speaker 1: I was like, ew. But... Yeah, as far as mounds go,
- 2:19:08Speaker 1: I'm not really sure.
- 2:19:09Speaker 3: I think some of those hills out there are.
- 2:19:13Speaker 1: The best person that would have been to ask about
- 2:19:17Speaker 1: that is my dad's friend that passed away. Because I
- 2:19:21Speaker 1: have a feeling that's where some of those arrowheads he
- 2:19:24Speaker 1: found came from.
- 2:19:27Speaker 2: Oh, you told us about that story last time. I
- 2:19:29Speaker 2: forgot about that. Can you tell us that story again, please?
- 2:19:33Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 2:19:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:19:35Speaker 2: I mean, you can finish what you're saying.
- 2:19:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, no, no. That's fine.
- 2:19:39Speaker 3: We can go into it. This isn't my story.
- 2:19:42Speaker 1: This is what my dad's best friend told him that happened,
- 2:19:46Speaker 1: but somewhere out there on the farm or the property
- 2:19:49Speaker 1: surrounding the farm. My dad's best friend was out there
- 2:19:52Speaker 1: with a buddy of his and they were, he knew
- 2:19:56Speaker 1: this place to go to get some artifacts, you know,
- 2:19:59Speaker 1: some arrowheads, whatever.
- 2:20:01Speaker 3: And they were digging into it. And he said he
- 2:20:04Speaker 3: was digging into a.
- 2:20:04Speaker 1: Hill or mound. And.
- 2:20:07Speaker 3: Mound.
- 2:20:08Speaker 1: He came across, like, you know, found some arrowheads. Then
- 2:20:12Speaker 1: he found this, like, ring. But whenever he got a
- 2:20:15Speaker 1: little more down, like, it was part of the finger
- 2:20:18Speaker 1: was still there, too.
- 2:20:19Speaker 3: You know?
- 2:20:20Speaker 1: And he went ahead and took the ring off of it.
- 2:20:23Speaker 1: No sooner than he did that... This is... Again, this
- 2:20:26Speaker 1: is not my story. This is what this guy told
- 2:20:28Speaker 1: my dad.
- 2:20:30Speaker 3: Um.
- 2:20:31Speaker 1: He said that this, like, Clear's Day looks just as
- 2:20:34Speaker 1: real as me or you. Indian Brave started rising up
- 2:20:38Speaker 1: from where they were digging at. Like, full headdress, everything.
- 2:20:43Speaker 1: I know that sounds really weird, but think spirit-wise. If
- 2:20:46Speaker 1: this was, like, a warrior, they're going to be ready
- 2:20:49Speaker 1: to go, you know? And he said it came up, and, like,
- 2:20:52Speaker 1: the look it was giving him, like, was, like, very
- 2:20:55Speaker 1: pissed off. You know what I mean? And, like, basically...
- 2:21:00Speaker 1: The head got up and they started throwing everything they
- 2:21:02Speaker 1: took back in that hole and filling the hole back in.
- 2:21:06Speaker 1: And it never did come above the ground after they
- 2:21:08Speaker 1: filled the hole back in. But it scared him to death.
- 2:21:12Speaker 1: He also, after that, took his entire collection of arrowheads
- 2:21:17Speaker 1: and buried them somewhere. I'm guessing maybe in that mound
- 2:21:20Speaker 1: area or maybe in the creek. I don't know. Dad
- 2:21:24Speaker 1: didn't know either. But he buried all that. And then
- 2:21:27Speaker 1: not long after that, He passed away in his sleep.
- 2:21:32Speaker 1: And this guy was only in his fifties. And I mean,
- 2:21:35Speaker 1: he walked around all the time. So, I mean, he
- 2:21:36Speaker 1: was in pretty good shape. I mean, yeah, he smoked
- 2:21:38Speaker 1: a lot of cigarettes, but I don't know. But, you know,
- 2:21:42Speaker 1: so I don't know if there was a, if one
- 2:21:45Speaker 1: led to the other or not, but it was very
- 2:21:47Speaker 1: coincidental as far as timing. So.
- 2:21:51Speaker 2: Could you imagine like, first of all, there's a lot
- 2:21:54Speaker 2: of like Indian burial mounds is what we call them
- 2:21:57Speaker 2: down here in the South.
- 2:21:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:21:59Speaker 2: And there's a lot of mounds and they're not labeled
- 2:22:03Speaker 2: and people don't, either they don't realize what they are
- 2:22:07Speaker 2: or they just, you know, they don't know or they've
- 2:22:10Speaker 2: been actively covered up somehow or something. I don't know.
- 2:22:13Speaker 2: I mean, I've been watching those. It was like, there's
- 2:22:15Speaker 2: some TikTok accounts that are like LIDAR channels and stuff.
- 2:22:21Speaker 2: Have you seen those? Those are getting real popular right now.
- 2:22:24Speaker 1: Yeah. We're trying to get something like that brought out
- 2:22:26Speaker 1: to the farms.
- 2:22:27Speaker 2: That would be a great idea for you guys to
- 2:22:29Speaker 2: have that. It might answer some questions as to why
- 2:22:32Speaker 2: these cryptids are out there on your farm. They may
- 2:22:34Speaker 2: be protecting some burial mounds and stuff.
- 2:22:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, somebody, I forget who, I think it was.
- 2:22:43Speaker 1: I don't remember who, it was another podcaster I was
- 2:22:47Speaker 1: on in the first couple. He wondered if because of
- 2:22:52Speaker 1: the Native American connection and everything to the land, if, like, say, like,
- 2:22:56Speaker 1: the shaman or whatever the spiritual leader would be called
- 2:23:00Speaker 1: of the Native Americans in that, didn't, like, in a way,
- 2:23:05Speaker 1: conjure forth Bigfoot there to, like, you know, protect or
- 2:23:11Speaker 1: protect them or protect the land or maybe even fight
- 2:23:15Speaker 1: against the force. I don't know.
- 2:23:17Speaker 3: But now they're not there to put it back.
- 2:23:20Speaker 1: You know what I mean? So it just roams. He
- 2:23:22Speaker 1: brought that up, and I mean, well, I don't know
- 2:23:25Speaker 1: if I really subscribe to that.
- 2:23:26Speaker 3: I'm like, I mean, it's the sound of theory as
- 2:23:29Speaker 3: any that I got, because I don't know.
- 2:23:32Speaker 2: I mean, I've heard too many stories. I've investigated too
- 2:23:35Speaker 2: many pieces of land where there's extreme hauntings. There's cryptids,
- 2:23:40Speaker 2: like scary cryptids and stuff, S-walkers and all that. And
- 2:23:45Speaker 2: some of the common themes is like there's been disturbed
- 2:23:49Speaker 2: Indian burial mounds. There's actually that one spot that I
- 2:23:52Speaker 2: went to up in Whitleyville up in Tennessee. I've been
- 2:23:55Speaker 2: North Tennessee, like right on the border of like Kentucky
- 2:23:57Speaker 2: up there. And and I didn't know this until Bruce
- 2:24:02Speaker 2: has been in the chat tonight. Bruce Brown's a good
- 2:24:04Speaker 2: friend of mine. And and he's he's a police officer
- 2:24:08Speaker 2: up there in Whitleyville. I didn't know him. I didn't
- 2:24:10Speaker 2: even know about this until. later on, like recently, he
- 2:24:15Speaker 2: told me about this. He had seen us out there camping. He,
- 2:24:18Speaker 2: he remembered the property that we were on. We had
- 2:24:19Speaker 2: some of the guys I go out big footing with
- 2:24:21Speaker 2: and stuff. He was like, well, I saw y'all's trucks
- 2:24:25Speaker 2: out there at that cave entrance. And I was wondering
- 2:24:26Speaker 2: what y'all were doing out there. This is like three
- 2:24:28Speaker 2: years ago or something. And, uh, and we couldn't, we,
- 2:24:33Speaker 2: we didn't know the real history behind this property. You
- 2:24:36Speaker 2: know what I mean? But this people, the couple that
- 2:24:38Speaker 2: was living there was having like dog, man, big foot
- 2:24:40Speaker 2: stuff going on. hauntings the cave entrance was right in
- 2:24:44Speaker 2: their backyard they were freaked out about it and they
- 2:24:46Speaker 2: were having all this their chickens were going missing and
- 2:24:48Speaker 2: all this stuff it was crazy and uh and so
- 2:24:52Speaker 2: it wasn't until like recently this year bruce was like
- 2:24:54Speaker 2: hey i just want you to know uh the woman
- 2:24:57Speaker 2: there was a family that lived in that house it
- 2:24:59Speaker 2: was a man a wife the two kids the the
- 2:25:02Speaker 2: they had they had taken part in leveling an indian
- 2:25:06Speaker 2: burial mound right there and uh there had been like
- 2:25:10Speaker 2: a There was a burial, there was like a mound
- 2:25:14Speaker 2: and all the houses around there, like they burned down.
- 2:25:18Speaker 2: People have like woken up, like levitating in their beds.
- 2:25:22Speaker 2: One person got thrown out of an upstairs window after
- 2:25:25Speaker 2: levitating out of their bed one night. Like, it's just crazy.
- 2:25:28Speaker 2: And it all has to do with that. Anybody who
- 2:25:31Speaker 2: had anything to do with that Indian burial man getting destroyed,
- 2:25:35Speaker 2: the man, the husband in that house that we were investigating,
- 2:25:40Speaker 2: We didn't know that he had unalived his wife on
- 2:25:43Speaker 2: the porch of that house. We didn't even know that
- 2:25:47Speaker 2: when we went there to investigate that place. But the
- 2:25:50Speaker 2: house was haunted. I left my ghost hunting equipment with Farrah,
- 2:25:53Speaker 2: the girl who lived there. I gave her some of
- 2:25:56Speaker 2: my ITC devices and things like that and my REM
- 2:25:59Speaker 2: pod because I didn't want them anymore. I was like,
- 2:26:01Speaker 2: I didn't want them anyways, honestly. But I gave them
- 2:26:04Speaker 2: to her and she was having pretty extreme haunted paranormal
- 2:26:09Speaker 2: activity in her house. It turns out that woman had
- 2:26:12Speaker 2: died there recently, within the past five years. Wow, that's wild.
- 2:26:17Speaker 2: It's wild, right? But it had to do with that curse. Basically,
- 2:26:21Speaker 2: it was like a curse of the people who had
- 2:26:23Speaker 2: taken down that Indian burial mound right there.
- 2:26:26Speaker 1: Oh, I guarantee it. Yeah.
- 2:26:26Speaker 2: I guarantee it. Man, but imagine, like, with you, but,
- 2:26:31Speaker 2: you know, like, having a farm. Let's just look at
- 2:26:34Speaker 2: it this way, because I grew up on a farm, too.
- 2:26:36Speaker 2: How do we not know that, like, my grandfather... and
- 2:26:40Speaker 2: my dad, my aunts and everybody, my cousins, they could
- 2:26:44Speaker 2: have just gone out there to level some land not
- 2:26:46Speaker 2: knowing that a hill was an actual mound.
- 2:26:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:26:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I've wondered that too. Yeah, I've definitely wondered that myself.
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 2:26:57Speaker 2: I say innocent, but I meant ignorant. It could have
- 2:26:59Speaker 2: been like ignorance because they didn't know.
- 2:27:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:27:01Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? Yeah, no, I totally
- 2:27:03Speaker 1: get that.
- 2:27:04Speaker 3: It's possible too out on the farm.
- 2:27:05Speaker 1: It's very possible.
- 2:27:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:27:07Speaker 1: I mean, there's just no telling.
- 2:27:10Speaker 2: But see, but y'all aren't being like harmed or threatened
- 2:27:13Speaker 2: by these things out there, are you? You're just, they're
- 2:27:15Speaker 2: just there living amongst you.
- 2:27:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they're there. I mean, they're making themselves known that Dogman,
- 2:27:21Speaker 1: I don't, I almost think like, and this may sound stupid,
- 2:27:26Speaker 1: but I almost think like, yeah, the Dogman's around, but.
- 2:27:28Speaker 3: I think that the Bigfoot kind of keep it in check.
- 2:27:32Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like, they don't let it
- 2:27:34Speaker 1: get too close if we're out and about out there.
- 2:27:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like, yeah, it walked by
- 2:27:40Speaker 1: the house when dad was in the house but he
- 2:27:43Speaker 1: hasn't encountered it or anything like that whenever he's outside
- 2:27:48Speaker 1: um my brother that was a different story my stepbrother
- 2:27:51Speaker 1: but it's like you know hey it still it didn't
- 2:27:54Speaker 1: charge him you know it stayed in the tree line
- 2:27:57Speaker 1: and he was like 30 yards away from it And
- 2:28:00Speaker 1: I mean, he didn't advance either.
- 2:28:01Speaker 3: So, I mean, good on him.
- 2:28:03Speaker 1: But I don't know. I'm not really sure. Man. Any
- 2:28:11Speaker 1: more questions?
- 2:28:11Speaker 3: I'm going to have to hop off here pretty soon.
- 2:28:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:28:15Speaker 2: No, you know what? We really don't. I don't think
- 2:28:16Speaker 2: we have any more questions. I didn't save any in
- 2:28:19Speaker 2: here if we did. But let's see. Cemetery, NDE. Those
- 2:28:23Speaker 2: are the two that I saw right there. Well, no,
- 2:28:26Speaker 2: I mean, this has been absolutely fantastic again, Bryce. I
- 2:28:29Speaker 2: really do appreciate you coming on the show tonight.
- 2:28:31Speaker 1: No problem. I love being on.
- 2:28:32Speaker 3: Appreciate you bringing me back.
- 2:28:34Speaker 2: Well, of course. Well, thank you so much for being here.
- 2:28:38Speaker 2: And is there anything you'd like to tell the audience tonight?
- 2:28:42Speaker 2: Like anything you'd like to promote or like any kind
- 2:28:45Speaker 2: of words of advice? What are you going to leave
- 2:28:48Speaker 2: us with tonight?
- 2:28:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:28:50Speaker 1: So like I said, I'll be speaking in Harrisburg, Illinois,
- 2:28:53Speaker 1: October 3rd at the Shawnee Sasquatch Fest. Um, please check
- 2:28:57Speaker 1: out the documentary, the links in the comments, um, or
- 2:29:00Speaker 1: the show notes, whatever it is.
- 2:29:03Speaker 3: Um, hopefully you guys like it.
- 2:29:05Speaker 1: Um, y'all want to send me a friend request on Facebook,
- 2:29:08Speaker 1: feel free to just Bryce Edwards pictures, uh, me and
- 2:29:12Speaker 1: my wife and the cover photos, me speaking at the
- 2:29:15Speaker 1: Bigfoot conference last Saturday. And, um, One thing I like
- 2:29:21Speaker 1: to always tell people is a couple things.
- 2:29:24Speaker 3: Number one, closed minds see nothing.
- 2:29:29Speaker 1: You've got to have an open mind when we're talking
- 2:29:30Speaker 1: about cryptids and all that stuff. You can't automatically go
- 2:29:33Speaker 1: in thinking, oh, it's all fake because you're not going
- 2:29:35Speaker 1: to experience anything. You've got to have an open mind.
- 2:29:39Speaker 1: And then two, especially for people in my area, these
- 2:29:44Speaker 1: things are real.
- 2:29:45Speaker 3: They are here. Now, Just because I've had.
- 2:29:50Speaker 1: Positive interactions doesn't mean it's always going to go that
- 2:29:54Speaker 1: way for me. Doesn't mean if you come across something
- 2:29:57Speaker 1: out there in the woods or whatever, but it's going
- 2:30:00Speaker 1: to go that way for you.
- 2:30:01Speaker 3: It doesn't mean it's going to go bad either. It
- 2:30:04Speaker 3: just depends.
- 2:30:05Speaker 1: So just be aware, you know, take precaution if you
- 2:30:09Speaker 1: need to and just keep your eyes open.
- 2:30:14Speaker 2: Always eyes on the back of your heads, y'all.
- 2:30:17Speaker 1: Okay. Okay.
- 2:30:18Speaker 2: And, uh, no, and I agree with that. I think it's, uh,
- 2:30:20Speaker 2: that's great advice. And, uh, I just absolutely am so
- 2:30:25Speaker 2: blessed of having you here tonight. And, uh, for you
- 2:30:27Speaker 2: to share your family's history, uh, down in Southern Illinois
- 2:30:32Speaker 2: with the Pond Creek Monster. And do you guys please
- 2:30:35Speaker 2: go and, uh, and check out the, the links are
- 2:30:37Speaker 2: in the description box for everybody. If you're listening on
- 2:30:40Speaker 2: podcast platform, uh, go to, it's called the Pond Creek
- 2:30:44Speaker 2: Monster New 2026 Bigfoot Documentary. over on YouTube and we
- 2:30:48Speaker 2: have links down in the description box. And if you're
- 2:30:51Speaker 2: listening on podcasts, I do have it down in the
- 2:30:52Speaker 2: description as well. Uh, links there. So, uh, so yeah, man, Bryce,
- 2:30:57Speaker 2: please come back and hang out with me again. I mean,
- 2:30:59Speaker 2: I hope to see you at a conference. Maybe you
- 2:31:02Speaker 2: and I can speak together at a conference. Maybe I'll
- 2:31:04Speaker 2: run into each other. Okay.
- 2:31:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be cool. I almost got put on
- 2:31:08Speaker 1: the one going on and loud in Tennessee, um, later
- 2:31:11Speaker 1: in October, but, um, I already had a, prior thing
- 2:31:15Speaker 1: scheduled that weekend. So I wasn't going to be able
- 2:31:17Speaker 1: to make it. So I was that close to being
- 2:31:19Speaker 1: in Tennessee.
- 2:31:21Speaker 2: Oh, dang. Well, I'm, I'm close to there, but, uh, maybe,
- 2:31:24Speaker 2: maybe we'll come up and see you sometime and stuff.
- 2:31:27Speaker 2: We'll definitely cross paths one day, Bryce, for sure.
